Hello my dolls, welcome back to the busy yet pretty podcast, I'm your host Jaden Hailey. If you're new on this show we talk all about becoming the best version of yourself, wellness routines, morning routines and ultimately loving yourself so I'm so excited to get started with today's episode. So starting off with our weekly review. This week I have actually been moving into a new space, I'm very excited, very very similar. It almost exactly the same as what I had recently but it's a little bit of an upgrade so I'm very excited. I think this week is I haven't following up my new years habits and honestly I feel like I can collectively say for all of us there's nothing more rewarding than a new year of fresh start and actually staying consistent with your intentions. And lastly this week I have just been working on my monthly goals, every single month I start off on the first day of the month in writing out things that I want to achieve by the end of the month and my intentions. And I love it and I have it in my notes app and it just is so nice to refer back to when I'm not busy or doing anything and it reminds me to get back to doing my goals so I really recommend you try that. Now moving on to a current obsession. My current obsession is slow mornings. About a year ago I was really into the 5am cold shower type of morning and now I'm taking things a little slower out just because that's my needs right now where I want to wake up around 6 or so and have a little slower morning read a bit of my book journal and I found that to be so helpful. Another current obsession is lemon tuna toast. I love anything lemon and lately I just love a nice toast so lemon tuna toast is so good and I really recommend trying it. Another current obsession is the tower 28 SOS spray. I have been using it every single day for two weeks now and it has made my skin so much more clear, absolutely obsessed with it. And my last current obsession is piano music. I just love any relaxing music in the morning and just throughout the day it just makes me focus really nicely and also keeps my stress levels lower. Now moving on to the goal of the week. So my goal of the week right now is to buy some new furniture. I want to store more things into like a dresser or something, get a bit more organized this year. Another goal of the week is to try out some new workouts. I honestly have been, I've been doing a lot more little strength training with little weights and I found it to be really nice and I really want to keep my bones healthy for the future so continuing to try new workouts. Another goal of the week is to start anositol again. I have heard really great things about ovulating and being able to have your period when you start anositol. As you guys know, I've been on my period in hormone journey to fix my very unbalanced hormones and I have not had a period for almost two years now so I've been working on getting it back and I love just keeping you guys in the loop and updated. Since I received lots of messages that you guys have been trying to do the same thing, so we are all in this together. In my last goal of the week right now is to practice more breath work. I just love meditating and breath work sessions. I can really help this align with being calm and at peace, so trying to do more breath work. Now moving on to an affirmation. Every morning I'm presented with a new opportunity to better myself. I love that affirmation so much and I really recommend journaling it. Next is a self-love question. What are you most excited to achieve this year? I love that question so much and I really recommend journaling it and asking yourself that. Now for the challenge, begin to be more present as you eat away from your phone or TV. I love that challenge so much because I like to do that myself even. I feel like it's so easy just to scroll on TikTok or on social media while you're eating when it's really good to be mindful of your food and enjoy that time being present. Lastly is a podcast review. This review is from Gia and Gia titled Her Review. You completely altered the way I think. In her review said, "Jaden, you have no idea how much my life has changed ever since I started listening to your podcast. I am no longer constantly stressed out and worrying over the little things. Instead of wanting to improve myself to look good for others, I improve myself to make myself proud. I wake up every day right to start a new day and I found confidence in myself that I had never felt before I started listening to you. I'm now a true golden-class girl. I now enjoy the little things like the first sip of my coffee or how pretty my hair looks. I feel confident in the clothes I wear and I'm always looking to try new things. I'm no longer insecure about my looks and this is all after a few months of listening to you. I'm loving how I'm loving myself more and I'm embracing each season with open arms and excitement. I can't wait for what will happen as I listen to you more. Thank you so much for helping me and become the best version of myself from Gia. That was the sweetest review ever. I am at loss of words every single time I read your guys' reviews. I am so grateful for your kind words but not only am I grateful, I'm so proud of you because every single person listening to this, of course, can click on this podcast and listen but really, you're taking action and that's most important. I appreciate it so dearly and if you want to be featured on next week's review, please feel free to leave a podcast review over Apple Podcasts. I'm not gonna lie, this episode topic is one of my favorites and I'm just so excited to discuss this with you guys because I have had firsthand experience with this and it has changed my life. Today we're gonna talk about the power of gratitude. Gratitude is often looked past or thought a very little, it's something that usually it just looked past and we don't think about very often. Maybe you think of gratitude as you say thank you to the waiter who brought out your food or maybe you think of gratitude when you try to think the person who held the door for you. Yes, all of those are examples of gratitude but there is so much more beneath that word. Before we dive into gratitude, I want you to realize that gratitude is more than an automatic response. You give it to a con gesture, it's an emotion that has the power to change your life. I want you to really think right now, when is the last time you've just sat with yourself with no distraction and counted your blessings. Maybe you do already, maybe you did this morning, maybe you did yesterday, maybe you did last week, maybe you did a month ago, or maybe you actually don't at all. When you look at the word gratitude, it's probably not that deep to you. But it is now time for you to truly tap into gratefulness, not only to give your acknowledgements and appreciation to what you already have, but to also manifest and attract more into your life. That being said, you should not perform gratefulness with intentions of just receiving. What I mean by that is, don't go out of your way to go buy somebody's coffee and hopes to get your own coffee bought by somebody else's. Do things out of genuine love and gratefulness, not just out of wine to receive. But when you begin to actually be grateful with genuine emotion, I promise you receiving good will always follow. So do not worry, when you put out positive energy, you will always receive it back, but really try to touch base with true gratitude. There are so many things that pass you by that you should be grateful for. When was the last time you were grateful for your ability to walk or go to school or have a bed or have a roof over your head? You've conditioned yourself to see past the things that actually serve you the most in your life. You could be saying you're grateful for your new shoes, you're grateful for your TV. But when have you been grateful for your mom? When have you thought to be grateful for your sister, having warm water, being able to wake up every day? And now, aside from your daily things to be grateful for, have you ever taken time to show gratitude to your past? Good or bad past, I don't care whatever it is, have you ever taken time to be grateful for your past? Every single hardship that you've ever experienced in your life, every single bit of trauma, every little bad thing that has happened in your life did not happen to you. It happened for you. It is now time for you to be grateful for your hardest times and your biggest weaknesses. You need to realize that you're unable to change the past. Nothing can change that has already happened, okay? Stop wishing things were another way and stop wallowing on your past. It's done is done and the only difference is how you allow your past to impact you moving forward. I know you may be thinking, but it's not fair, I was born into an abusive family. It's not fair that everyone is rude to me at school. It's not fair that this traumatic experience happened to me. You have every single right to hate the situation and to feel it is unfair. But even though we don't have the power to choose where we come from, we can still choose where we go from there. Instead of hating an experience that happened to you or an ex that hurt you or the girl that made your school life a living hell or the abusive experience in your life at home, as hard as it may be, appreciate it. I'm not saying appreciate that person, appreciate the action that was done, but appreciate the experience because those experience happened for you. Your past experiences, your hardships, your trauma, all of that was given to you to be stepping soon in your success. It was to make you stronger and to lead you to the right path. I'm telling you right now, you do not want to live in the past. Nothing benefits from you living in the past. You want to live in the present and work for the future. Same with any hardship or experience you're going through right now. Be grateful you were given this challenge to make you stronger and to lead you to the right path. Every single time your hit was something hard, a challenge, a hardship, a new bad experience, a new person who's hard to deal with. Instead of fighting against it, begin to learn how to cope with it, find the solution and instead of hating it, realize that this is only going to benefit you even more in the end. The universe, God, whatever higher power you believe in, they know you're different. They know you're cut out for something so special in life and that you need to experience these things and have these hardships to lead you to the right path. When you begin showing gratitude for things, you will improve your outlook on life and how you react. You will lose greediness, be at peace, you'll stop seeking and most importantly, you'll begin to attract what you're actually wanting. Gratitude helps you fall in love with the life that you already have. The universe, God, whatever higher power you believe in, does not want to bless and give to those who seek negativity or greedy and ungrateful. I understand that journaling may not be for everyone, but I'm telling you that impact it makes on my day when I just write down a few things I'm grateful for is insane. I love journaling but I don't do it often because I have a busy schedule, but I do every morning and night my five-minute journal which I really recommend to everyone. Because it allows you to start your day and end your day on a positive note and allows you to be mindful, grateful and to attract. I linked the exact one that I use in my show notes, but even if you don't have a five-minute journal, just take one minute in the morning to list down three things that you're grateful for. Being aware and acknowledging with gratitude in the morning right when you wake up will set you up with a positive mindset for the day. I love to think of what I'm grateful for as I brush my teeth, make my bed and just start my morning. I guarantee you it will bring you so much peace and motivation when you start actually realizing and acknowledging what you're grateful for. And while you're grateful for what you currently have, you also are able to be grateful for what you will have. What I mean by that is incorporate gratitude acknowledgments, things that you're wanting to have and manifest, but as if you already have them. And you can incorporate it into your daily routine of saying what you're grateful for. An example of that is let's say you want clear skin. So instead of saying, I want clear skin, while you're counting your blessings and saying what you're grateful for, you could say, I'm so grateful for my clear skin. Let's say you want to start being happier. You could say, I'm so grateful I wake up happy every day. That will allow you to begin manifesting your desires effortlessly because you'll begin to feel fulfilled as if you already have what you're wanting. You are alive. You have the opportunity to become the person and create the life that you desire to live. How amazing is that? Like really think about that. We are here for a reason. You are born for a reason. You are here. You are alive and here for a reason. Regardless of where you came from, how hard your life has been, that was for a purpose. We all have purpose, but it's whether are we going to take action and get to the purpose that we're meant for. I know that you have that dream version of yourself in mind and that dream house, that dream lifestyle in mind, and you're going to get there. But you're going to get there if you take the time and energy to get there. You're not going to dwell on the past anymore. You're going to live in the present and work towards the future. You're going to start being aware and start being thankful for things around you. You're going to connect with yourself and really see what you're wanting in your life. Be grateful for the opportunity to create the life that you're able to create. I love you guys so much. I hope you guys enjoyed this episode as much as I did recording it. This episode honestly made me really motivated and excited. I'm going to go get my journal and write everything I'm grateful for right now because I am just so overwhelmed with love and gratitude and so are you. If you like this episode, repost it on your story and every week I choose one of you guys for a little drink on me and also share for others to become the best version of themselves as well because we're not trying to get keep love. We're trying to share love. Also, if you want to be featured on next week's episode, please feel free to leave a podcast review over Apple podcast with that being said, gratitude holds all the power and do not forget to stay busy yet pretty.
