There's a fab. There's pizza place near Dr. Fox's office. I was more than happy to grab a slice. That was like, you know, maybe 12 o'clock. Later on in the day, Ben was at the studio. He said, I'm coming home. You need anything? I said, you know what? I took a slice of pizza. Like he was offering. And then I went out for dinner with my friends from high school. And we ordered a pizza for the table. That's what I was not going to have. I grabbed a slice from the center of the table. Of the shared plate. So unbeknownst to me, like I had three separate slices of pizza yesterday, which is genuinely insane. But I'm genuinely just trying to survive out here. Understood. So how are you feeling? Update us. Like, how does it feel to have this weight lifted off? It just feels different. Like I, I remember last time, like, oh my god, I could have died of relief. I was so eager to tell people the second the first trimester. And I'm like, let's get it up this time. I'm just like so chill. I'm not like other girls. I used to drink beer. I obviously can't now. Um, not now. Look at that. You know, I feel good. I feel, um, I'm happy. Everyone knows I feel that I can start posting on social media again. Like when you're literally living a double life, but you also have to share your life on social media. Like I had nothing to post because all I do is sit around and eat. Yeah. It's hard. So I was like turning out content all day yesterday because I can finally speak my truth. You could be free. I could be free. I can be. Turning. Exactly. I forgot to tell you when I went to the wedding where I met Alex Earl. They had like a bunch of security. There was like lots of lists and the person checking me in was like Mrs. Freebush. Is that your name? And I was like, no, it's like it's totally. It went over your head completely. I'm like, Oh, Shrey. And she was like, it's a joke. I was like, Oh. Love that. Yeah, I forgot to tell you that. Um, no, I feel great. Doctor's appointment with great yesterday, which is why I was like, you know, let's just do the damn thing. Yeah. And I feel great. I feel happy. I feel excited. Butterflies and my stomach and vagina. It's not a saying. Yeah. It's hard to be audio sound. Yeah. Yeah. I feel nervous if you look excited. And like I knew, I don't know what she was being asked. But I feel like she had just announced her pregnancy. Yeah. Yeah. Well, we're happy that you're free to share. And we're so excited. You don't need to hear it twice. But I think I'm more excited like to have a baby this time. Because last time, like, it's also mysterious. Like, you don't know what it's like to have a baby. Uh-huh. Now I know what it's like. And I love that shit. So it's like, I'm almost like, I'm so fucking eager. I'm like, let's go. Yeah. I want it now. Yeah. That makes sense. It's like, it's exciting and you're prepared. It's like a test you're going to ace. Oh, and let me tell you, bark my last words. I'll have like crazy postpartum depression. But like, I'm going to kill it. I'm going to kill it. Like, I'm so lit up for this. Like, let's go. Yeah. We'll see. We'll see. TV day. Well, I'm excited. We can now seek our truths, you know. There were a couple of funny comments of like, tells. Well, what's funny is like, I always think that like I say something that gave it away. And it's like the things that people pick up on. I didn't even know what your eyes are talking about. You know what I mean? It's like, I'm like, Jackie, should we cut that out? And the things that people were like, I had a feeling when you did XYZ. I'm like, oh, really? I feel like that's so me just to like do. Yeah. No, some things people said like, oh, when you did this, I'm like, no, no, I did that too. And actually, people were like, oh, when you did this, I'm like, I wasn't even pregnant then. This summer, I was experiencing a month's pregnancy, spending so much time with you. Oh, you guys. The summer was fucking horrible. Like, seriously, that's studio. I can never go back. There was nothing wrong with it. But like, who I was, I was in such a bad spot. I was in such a fucking bad spot as Jackie, like a genuinely miserable person. Like, first trimester diarrhea. That didn't have to do. Like, oh, my God, I was not fucking okay running to the bathroom in the middle of every episode. Genuinely horrible. But I will say, like, people have been guessing that I'm pregnant since like November. Right. What do your bound to be, right? Hopefully. Yeah. Right. So it's like, people are like, well, you said this on the podcast. I'm like, okay, but I wasn't pregnant then. Yeah. Okay. I just talk like all the time. But of course, the breakfast potatoes come to mind. Like I said, I was fighting for my goddamn life this summer. The breakfast potatoes are totally a tell. And you know what? Maybe at one point, I was like, let's cut it out the way I gave not one fuck. Like, people not knowing or being auntie was so not. I was just trying to make it to the end of the day. Right. Right. So the comments were cracking me up. And then of course, the not harping on the fast this year. And I just thought, like, maybe people would think I was like, oh, I forgot to recap it. I was like, just a regular day. Although, obviously, I did not fast. I want everyone to know that. But I did take it light, you know, I only had like a couple of things throughout the day. Yeah. Too big of all the cereal. You were like, gluttonous. No, I didn't want to be gluttonous. I'm like, in Ben's face, which is so rude. Yeah. However, I did end up like giving myself a headache because I was like trying to be like so pious. Like, I didn't eat enough, you know? Mm-hmm. And then I got a headache. So I basically, I did fast essentially. Yeah. Yeah. For like a pregnant person. I was like, in the bathroom, chugging pellet green now. I felt so bad doing it in front of Ben, but like, I was so thirsty. Oh my god. It's fine. And now I'm running on three years in a row not having to pass. And like, that's why you have children. Why didn't you pass last year? I was breastfeeding. Oh, okay. And like, the Rebetson said, you know, you should try. And I did. And the year before. I was pregnant. Right. One day. So, slay mama. Slay mama. Slay mama. I got to keep timing up. These pregnancies. Yeah. With you, I'm keep born. With the Jewish New Year. Mm-hmm. Uh, feels good. Yeah, I'm pregnant. Literally. Oh, and I did a gender reveal on the podcast, but I'll say here happily. Um, we're having a boy, which is so fucking crazy. That's our second and fifth boy collectively, you and I, and within our family, it's our seventh. So we're holding on. Easy. One girl. And everybody thought I was going to be having a girl. Not me. Not me either. Everybody. And nobody had any, like, good reasons other than the fact that we feel like we're owed a girl. You know, like, it's about time. And everybody's like, it's obviously a girl. But why? Like, um, well, no, I was monitoring the turd. Well, I was also deeply, deeply unwell. But your symptoms were consistent with a boy pregnancy. Yeah. I don't remember genuinely having such, and I remember when you were pregnant, you would say this, that like, you really forget how hard it is. And it's like, I remember the first time I was like, I will not forget this feeling. I will not forget how miserable I was. I felt like the first time, the first trimester, like, I was like, was it like this last time? I have no recollection of what happened to me in my first pregnancy during the first trimester. But I could tell you, I feel that this one was 50 times worse. And then everything is made harder by already having a child. Oh, I don't even want to talk about like being a deadbeat mom. But you just can't lay around all day. And you have responsibilities and you have to get up. And so that makes it harder. But I also feel that things are going by way faster because I have a pre-existing family. Like, I can't lay around all day. And like, well, it's amazing to lay around all day when you're tired and pregnant. It is so boring. And it also sometimes does not make you feel better. It makes you feel worse. No, it just moves at a snail's pace. Your life is so boring because like, you know, your new mom of life hasn't started. But you can participate in your old swirly life. So you're just sort of like laying around watching TV, waiting. I feel that this pregnancy has already flown by much faster than the previous one. And I think it's because it's my second. Like, I have life to live. You think it's going on. Correct. I can't just sit around and trust me. It's all I want to do. And that's I just want to be completely honest. I sit around a lot. Mm-hmm. Like I. But even the days this summer where we like tried to get after it and like we went outside and like. You know, you felt good those days. Like I'm going to the truth. It's true. It's true. You do feel better when you go out. But like. It's just hard to do it. And I have like such a flexible job. I'm so grateful. And I have so much help and support. Like, oh my god, it is a nightmare. like that first trimester I understand God in his infinite wisdom like he has a reason for everything it seems so unnecessarily cruel like it really does yeah and then there are some jobs that I'm like how do you can you do this a thousand percent or in your first time or second or third like honestly being a traffic cop hmm I never thought about the pregnant traffic cops the first trimester mama's or traffic cops like standing all day no it's sick like the fumes the fumes people are so rich you so dismissive honky you they can't be good for the baby no totally they need 10 months maternity leave so like I want to think about how much I complained and how much like I have a position of privilege I'm in I really shouldn't complain but I will and you guys do I have this like philosophy about like posting on social media and talking publicly about like parenthood and I'm like I really try to keep it positive like I don't really believe in being like a phobis and a mother on the internet people do that good for you I'd like to do that when it comes to pregnancy I've complete opposite energy I'm so negative I'm so toxic I complain all the time of course we lead with gratitude of course but so just like don't don't expect that same sort of like positive turning okay to come through just want to like level set with everyone well also I haven't been with you since you've entered your second trimester like are you feeling better it's how's your day to day I'm gonna be with you soon so I'll know but like so much better okay much better and like I don't want to complain because it's not nothing compared to the first trimester but like if I wanted to complain I could and how mother fucking tired I am I see about 10 to 11 hours at night and I still take a two hour nap during the day and it's not enough like I don't know when sleep like what amount of sleep will make me feel rested I also in both my pregnancies have a major aversion to coffee which is so inconvenient on days like over the summer when I was feeling really really sick but I had like an all day photo shoot so miserable and I had a coffee that day and like it makes such a difference I can't get it down like even so you'll have to I need like an IV I need to intravenously you need a match I haven't cut out soda like at all and my first pregnancy I was so good about it I had like except towards the end I was like I fuck it but I was like you know two or three a week oh bitch I'm having two or three a day it's my only source of caffeine and my first trimester was the only thing that brought me even an ounce of relief like the burps heavenly like I want to write like a letter to the president of Pepsi Cola like thank you it was the only thing that helped and I'm a lot more layback this time you know good like no no in terms of like rules and restrictions yeah yeah like I'm taking my I was also taking baths the first trimester but I had this like thermometer say baby there is no thermometer like I'm just feeling the vibes like yeah yeah I used to have a thermometer in my first pregnancy like that's something you do when you have nothing else going on yeah no you can really like think about everything all the time that's all you think about yeah and so this time it's like I keep getting pits I'm like wait was I not supposed to do that I also like forget the rules I feel like a lot of the food restrictions don't apply to me I don't really eat sushi and I don't eat light a cane listerine what's it called uh Listeria for like turkey turkey like I could live without it and I only turkey I only turkey when I'm being really healthy and I'm not being really healthy and I don't really want to talk about that part but I obviously like didn't lose a baby weight before getting my next baby which is obviously not the way like I envisioned my life going but I guess the program I'm running like wasn't too strict you know like I had all these big plans and then when it came time I was just like I guess we're doing a plus-size pregnancy like I guess we're doing a plus-size pregnancy it is what it is and it was what it was like whatever I will figure it out next time and they're all plus-size pregnancies no and in the end like you're fat like you know it does feel good to like be able to like know like have people know like yes I'm fat but like I'm also pregnant and so what do you have to say about that you know like you say having a reason for being overweight is such a blessing honestly it really is and are you bumping I am bumping you know we're hanging low bellies low you know okay I saw Dr. Fox yesterday of course like I sit down in his office the funny thing is that like when I go to his appointments I don't actually really need to see him because I get my scan and then like the doctor in the whatever practice like reads me my results but then they're like you can go up and see Dr. Fox I'm like okay great like we don't literally do anything in there except talk and I was like so what do you think about Lindsey Clancy he had to actually really interesting cuz he's kind of like a perianatal like a leading like a thought leader in the perianatal space yes perianatal care and he had a lot of thoughts he was explaining to me like a lot about post-partum psychosis and how he's seen it like once or twice and it is frightening like it's so it's very very real says a lot of people with post-partum psychosis are actually non-violent there's a very very small amount of people who psychotic people as he said you know when you see like a crazy person or whatever they mostly like talks themselves they're danger to really they're not they're not violent they're not a danger to you physically a small percentage of people in psychosis are actually dangerous and violent and actually a lot of the circumstances like so he was basically corroborated like a lot of what he heard about her in her life like she definitely had post-partum psychosis I guess there are people who like doubt that she did and I said can you have post-partum psychosis eight months post-partum he was like absolutely okay so he corroborated the sort of like medical medical aspect like that yeah but he said he said I can't adjudicate them whether or not like she should go to jail or whatever it's like I'm not a jury member but he was just sort of giving the doctors perspective I appreciate that me too still locker up but locker up so yeah I am pregnant oh and in the vlog it took a lot and we're gonna do a Patreon probably next week like a little Q&A so I'm talking about like TTC and you know like we've had a lot of cues to A but like we really couldn't A anything until like we shared this news our news we are pregnant try being an influencer for a day you know like doing a podcast every single day trying to share you know oh my god so difficult yeah so the first time as there is really in general like hard and isolating even if you're just like a lay person but like when your job is to share and like the biggest thing you can it makes it really hard also I feel like like we're a couple like the podcast is pregnant yeah absolutely when you were pregnant it was I remember so funny because I've been like very chill about this whole thing but I remember the first time you were pregnant you might you might have been like 10 11 weeks oh my god it was using Ademi I had one drink and I told like literally everyone at Brian's house I couldn't like I literally was so excited it's just crazy how differently you experience each pregnancy and this time like I remember the first time what I really struggled with in the first trimester was like being a gossip girl like having this huge thing that I couldn't share like it was unfathomable to me that can be going through this huge life change and I can't tell anyone like what's the point you know this time I didn't feel this way that way this time I just felt like how am I especially a functioning member of society like for real you guys want me to like go out and punch someone in the face like that's just impossible for me it is she's having free part of psychosis the expectations were just too much you want to go to work every day that's insane but she did it kind of she did it yeah there was like what like one day I think your birthday you were like really on well so you've so been filled in for you yes yes yeah well what else can I share about me oh yeah and so obviously like Derek hot Trisha Payton's his girl was like I'm about what were we canceled for it I'm so glad you asked somebody started a like an actual libelous fake ass rumor on TikTok that you and I had this like very controversial segment on the podcast where we talked about Elon Musk and the alleged like a Nazi salute and that we cut it out and people are like what is it what is it nobody ever asked to see the footage by the way there was nothing said nothing cut we literally never even talked about on the podcast and oh my god it went insanely viral like what's that phrase the a lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to put his pants on oh man I was getting so much hate oh my god I didn't even do anything a lot of times I get hate for something I did yeah so we said this was a phantom scandal and I was like not only did this not have you guys are making shit up I I'm also pregnant, fuck off. Okay. The two are not the same because that's a pretty good cast for a show that just like nobody knows about. Yeah. How Cook was on Traders season one? I'm cracking up like no, I'm sorry. This is, I really probably won't ever watch anything that West Wilson does just because like it goes against my code of ethics. So unless I hear that this is like the most amazing show and people like Terry got to watch it, it will be a pass for me. And that's mostly because I hate West Wilson, but also this is like kind of a rag tag group. Yeah, no, when I feel like it's not must watch television unless you're like invested in the people, which I'm not mean, no, I've got, but I do imagine like West needs money. Yeah. I recently saw on his phone He was looking at large women BBW as they call it and when you search the web I also do think this could be family trauma as well my mother-in-law definitely has some form of eating disorder She's very thin and muscular.
