The Pete Davidson Audit: Thursday, October 1st, 2026

The episode opens with a festive Halloween season celebration, including a spooky book read and a surprise costume reveal, setting a dramatic tone. The hosts delve into a viral controversy surrounding Pete Davidson’s aggressive interview, criticizing his dismissive, patronizing tone toward influencers and his lack of self-awareness, while highlighting the hard work behind successful female creators. A major real-life story is shared—a miraculous survival of a hijacked flight from Dubai to Israel, where a plumber and crew stopped a terrorist attack, leading to a safe landing and global recognition of heroism. The hosts also discuss the cultural misuse of phrases like “I fear” and “it’s giving,” mocking their shallow, performative nature. Personal reflections on pregnancy-related aversions to activities like Mage are woven in, adding warmth and relatability. The episode is rich with sponsor promotions for shop-up, Truvia sweeteners, Rocket Money, and Reef shoes, all presented as practical and stylish choices. It closes with a positive note on Ariana Maddox’s new sci-fi series, *Future Housewives*, praised for its potential and authenticity, reinforcing the hosts’ support for talent and real-life achievement over performative internet culture. The overall tone balances humor, critique, and heartfelt storytelling, offering both entertainment and insightful commentary on modern culture.

♪ Good morning, girlies, it's the Tolls ♪ ♪ It's Jackson Claude and we're your hoes ♪ ♪ It's your favorite show, the fast-five things you need to know ♪ ♪ We'll start your day off swirly, it's the Toast ♪ - I sound amazing. - Welcome back to The Toast, and happy Thursday. Also happy October 1st to all who celebrate it. - I can't believe it's October that just snuck up on us. - The spooky season is upon us, and actually as of yesterday, we have confirmed our Halloween costume this year. - We have. - Totally Jackie's idea. I couldn't have thought of anything better in the whole world. I'm so excited. I've been like kind of ideating on what I'm gonna wear. I'm just, I'm very excited about it. - I think it's gonna be so great. I don't want to give anything away. - We're not. - I'm just gonna leave it right there. - Toast, do we never disappoint? And like this year will be no different. - Yeah, spooky season is here. We actually read a very spooky book for the redheads. The episode comes out today at some point. So if you, if you like that sort of vibe, you should read the book and listen along. With us, we weirdly always do a spooky book in October. It's Rebecca's choice, and she always makes it. - That's how it feels seasonally appropriate. - Yeah, I did do sometimes get festive with it. - Yeah, we cuss a little. - Yeah, we, we read about ghosts or not. - Oh. - Was it a ghost? - Giving Verity. - It is. It is. So that was time. I feel like thoroughly spookified. - Okay, good. I haven't gotten into spooky season yet. For me, October 1st is obviously all about, like, birth and renewal and getting my $200 back. And then I feel that I can really lean into the spooky season after, like, on October 2nd. - You have to think about inflation and interest rates because if you-- - What year was it? - Yep, what year was it? - You get someone alone in 2018 for $200. How much should they be paying you back today? - What is $200 from 2018 worth today? Given inflation and stuff. - But also you have to think about interest. - But let's say I'm a nice person who's not charging interest. - Oh wow. - Just given, like, the natural fluctuation of the stocks. 262. - That feels right. - Actually, it feels like more. - It should be more. - It's about a 31% increase. - It feels like it should be more. - Well, chat says 262. And again, yes, of course, if I wanted to charge interest. What do you think about me? At the time, I was loaning it, like, in good faith. - My mistake. - Now, as chat. And then also, as chat, if you had had the $200. - What about with interest? - If it was a loan that I gave you. I think you're just not giving them enough information. - You think you're seeing a response. What about with interest? - Honestly, they're giving me too much information and I don't care anymore. Happy Thursday. - Happy Thursday. - We've got party stories today. I'm so excited. Don't you feel like I kind of started this Pete Davidson stuff? - I came to it too late, so I can't say, but yes, I could see you having started it. - So I came across this Pete Davidson video completely on my own on TikTok. And it pissed me off so deeply. I didn't even read the comments or anything. I actually then went to Instagram because I felt like I had more cultural cash on Instagram. Like my comment would sort of populate higher and I left my hate comment on Instagram. And then when I went to go check back, I saw like, you know, all my fellow influencers had like started commenting. And I feel like I started it. - Is it a big thing? - It is. - Well, good. I need to talk about it. - Me too, so we have a viral clip to talk about in our first story? - No, actually. No, actually. We have a very exciting first story. I don't want to tease him. - Oh my god, she's like getting like a silly little smile. She's like, I'm gonna play such a fun game on the way to work today. We pulled up. Of course, we drove separate life. We pulled up next to one other. - I actually thought maybe we should drive together because it was raining so bad. - It was. - Maybe it would be better. We're stronger with numbers. But then it died down a little bit. - Yeah, so. - And we pulled up out of light together. And so we were playing one of my personally like favorite games. I could tell you were hating every minute 'cause you hate games. But it's like when I, we were in separate cars windows closed. So I'm listening to a song. I won't say what it is, yeah. And I'm mouthing the lyrics and I'm like, Jackie, guess what I'm singing? It was the longest light ever. The lights here are insane. And I was giving a couple of extra clues because I was also doing hand motion. So you guys tell me if you know what song I'm singing. This is what Jackie saw when she looked to her left. - Yes, I was listening to "Out of the Winds" by Taylor Swift. - Let us know if you got that. I heard her say, I could see her saying, I remember. And then I was like starting to think. And by the time you rolled out your window, I figured it out. - Mm-hmm. - That's a good song. Oh no, that's not good. That's not good. - Giving ASMR. - For their miscellaneous. - Stories like. - Good. - Biblies. - Cutesy. - High frequency vibration. - Cutesy. - Cutesy little stories. - They're all over the map. - We're getting Cosmone wanted today. - I feel like we always are. Either gender reveal or. - Cosmo or matching. - Remember when everyone was saying Cosmo and Wanda, you ain't slick. - That was a fun time. I feel like culturally we get into phrases that we beat to death. Cosmo and Wanda was a good one. When we were giving, no, no. When we get everyone kept saying it's giving share, like I hated that era. - It's giving, you mean? - It's giving share. - Oh. - That's what started the whole, it's giving thing. - What? - Shawn Mendes was like, it's giving share. - And he started it's giving? - I don't know if he started it's giving, like in its totality, because people were saying it before, but it's giving share then led to kind of the mainstreamization of its giving. - Okay, you know how I feel about its giving. I don't mind it as a turn of phrase. - Oh, I don't love it. It's just like sort of a, like a low intellectual way of saying something, you know? - My feeling. - And by the way, I say it all the time. - My feeling is that it's not like it replaced something better. It's sort of like created a new category. - Created a way of saying something. - That we didn't have a way of saying it before. - I just don't like it. I feel like it just doesn't sound smart. - You know what I don't like? And I'm scared if I say it, it's going to become a part of my vocabulary. - Let's hear it. - When people start everything with I fear. - Okay, actually, you know who started that? Like, okay, when I say started, like they didn't put these words together. - Jake Shane. - Really. - Have you heard that viral audio? Where it's like, how long is the boss in marathon? - Uh-huh. - And then his friend is like, I fear all of the marathon to the same length I fear or whatever. And like, it went so viral. And I feel like that's really, at least for me, when I started hearing I fear. And I agree. - Yeah. - A sprinkle every now and then like adds nice comedic. - Yeah, but every time you answer a question, I fear yes, I fear now. - Yeah. - Don't live in fear. - Yeah. - How do you feel about Don't You Find? - I loved him. - Okay, okay. - Of course I do. - Okay. - That's not internet jargon, that's toast jargon. - Yeah, and there's never a piece of toast jargon. You can just like. - Yeah, and that's an elevated way of saying, you know? - Even when I just like something. - It's an elevated way of saying, you know. - That's what I'm saying. It's giving is like a low-valuating way of saying something. - What? - It resembles, it feels similar to. - It's like is what it is. - Yeah, also low intellectual. - Right, so. - I feel that when I say, don't you find? - Don't you find? I sound like extremely British and intellectual. Did you find? - Yeah. - You know? - I know. And you know is a bad stem. I feel like I'm very aware of my like ums and totalies and likes. - And you know is a bad one. - It's a bad one. - Don't you find? It sort of just like speaks to a lack of confidence. - I was just gonna say complete insecurity. - I need someone to be agreeing with you. And you can't just stand on your own two feet. - And that insecurity is still there when you say, don't you find? But people are so impressed with how British you are that you don't sound stupid at all. - It should sound until we dig deeper to the psychological meaning. - Yeah, every time I say something and I end it with, you know, it's giving like you have no confidence in yourself and you're like not smarter dumb. You don't even know what you just said. - You're not smart or dumb. - You're not smarter dumb. You're not smart. - And you're not dumb, you know? - Um, I look, I'm just sort of itching to talk about Pete Davidson. So there's anything else you want to shit chat about? Like let's get out of the way. - No, we have like a cutesy mage yesterday. Did you win at your table? - Of course I did. - Okay, me too. You didn't mean to ask that. - Well, I guess I would know if you didn't. - Well Ben can know. Ben always says like when I play mage and I come home like at night, he can feel instantly when I walk in the door if I've won or lost. Even though I do feel, um, I've kind of chilled out about mage. Like I'm not so crazy. I used to get like so competitive and now it's like whatever. - Yeah, I think it's like post-aversion. You sort of neutralize. I don't think you're like so into it in your pregnancy that like you couldn't mage all day. You don't want to, you don't have like that same like drive for it. - There was like a true addiction before I got pregnant. I shared this on the Patreon, so I haven't shared it on the podcast yet. But during my first trimester, I have this weird thing where I have like aversion's not to food. But to like random things and institutions in my first pregnancy. Like I had to cross the street when I was near the kosher grocery store. Like the place just like the idea that made me nauseous. This summer I had a major aversion to mage. That's why Jacky and Ben were playing solo mage on. Simon's mage on the entire summer. I couldn't even look at the table. Like the number is like the idea. Oh, like seriously. And obviously the aversion's got a way, but I'm just not like obsessed with it in my pregnancy. - No, you were obsessed. Like when you were down. - I was counting cards. And I was forcing people to play with me. - When you were down here in the winter, we were playing every day because like you require us to play every day. - No, and like my levels of desperation. Like I literally would have picked up like a homeless person on the street and brought them into my house to come play with me. Like we need a fourth. And now like, I don't know, it just doesn't hit the same. - Yeah. - It's not as exciting to me. It's kind of lost. But it was still obsessed. - Yeah. - I literally play every day. But in a more chill sort of normal way. - Yeah, yeah. - It's better. - It's better. - It was getting to a point. - I was really addicted to it. Like I was thinking about it all the time. - Yeah. - Like I think that's how people are with like gambling. - Relaxed a little. But I didn't like fallin' into a more natural pattern. - Yeah, just like natural cool chill mage on girls. - Like once or twice a week. - Yeah, very normal. - Mm-hmm. - Okay, let's get into the story. Because I know you're itching to talk. - I'm also itching to tell everyone about today's league sponsor. I was just a little company notice at Amazon MGM Studios. You know, comes a grip. being psychological thriller based on the best-selling novel by Colleen Hoover. I don't think my father, President, if he's a turtle, would be to please stay here about that. I don't think our sponsor, Rocket Money, would be to please stay here about this. Our first story is the most amazing story that happened yesterday, a miracle in the sky. And we need to talk about it, the attempted hijacking of the fly-dew-by-flight from- Okay. Now it's getting geopolitical. Well, it's such a crazy story. It's such an amazing story, and I fear that like not- No one's talking about it. No one's talking about it. And we could have- No, of course people think, because like Jews are involved, that it's like a conspiracy theory and it's like this staged thing. Okay. Not. And yesterday, show and yesterday might have been a completely different day, if things had happened differently. And like, we need to celebrate this absolute miracle. Like, and everyone's like making jokes because it's like just- Because nothing ended up happening, thank God. Because the worst outcome didn't happen. But yesterday on a flight from Dubai to Israel, there were two pilots in the cockpit. And one of them was a terrorist. Spoiler alert. Spoiler alert. Placeless. They were like approaching Israel. I think they were over Saudi airspace at the time. They stabbed his co-pilot multiple times. Thankfully, the co-pilot, as he was like going down, he opened the cabin door. And the flight was like full of Israelis who are trained- Ever, there's a draft in Israel. So like, a lot of most Israelis walking around were like, you know, in the air force or medic or- Like, combatant. Yeah. And so, the terrorist got control of the airplane, plunged the airplane down- I think it was like- 50,000 feet in like 30 seconds. Less than two minutes. And in that time, I was actually an Israeli plumber who got into the cockpit, put the terrorist in a chokehold, like through him back to the crowd of passengers were waiting to like, restrain him. And the plumber actually leveled the plane. And there happened to be like another flight crew on the plane- I look at another pilot on the plane. Because they were going to fly the plane next, and they landed the plane safely in Saudi Arabia. The regular pilot who was stabbed is okay. He- Was that okay? He wasn't- He's not dead. Yeah. But he's such a hero. There were 180 people on the plane, there were 27 children. The plane was doing a nose dive into the ground. And not only were they able to stop the attack by a miracle, like a serious miracle. But also by all accounts, the plane should have, like, disintegrated by going down that fast from the G-Force. Like, it's a miracle that it didn't- Uh-huh. And that it stayed intact. I think it lost some of its tail or something. But, like, the whole situation is so incredible. They emergency landed in Saudi Arabia. They're like everyone was tended to, medical, and- And then they went, and they arrived safely in Israel. And now they're all, like, heroes at home. But it's a play. It's a group full of people that would have- that should have been dead. No, and by the way, not only dead, who knows where they were taking that plane? Right. Right into the Burj Khalifa. Right. And who knows what they would have hit on the ground. Of course. Even if it was failed. And then also this- the whole situation involves so many different countries. It's Saudi Aerospace. It's an Emirati flight from Dubai. It was an Omani pilot. It's a plane full of Israelis, like, and the region is all ready. On fire. Both literally. Yeah. And then you have all of these countries, like working together- One word would have broke out. How many lives were saved by this group of people? Is it miracle? It's true. And everybody knows that this happened yesterday, but you absolutely have to- Right. And if it happened differently, like, we all would have heard about it- Right. Because it was, like, potentially so catastrophic. Oh, but, you know, of course, the New York Times is saying that there was an altercation on-picked incident. That caused the flight to be diverted. And I actually have been diverted one time. I can tell you it was nothing like this. It was actually really traumatic in a different way. We had to land in Pittsburgh. We're Jackie and I sat at a hotel and I ended up getting a hair in our spaghetti. But we digress. This is not about us. No. And nothing. It's just an amazing story. It is. You really make a movie about it. And it's not, you know, I- people are already reporting on it in such a false way. You know, well, people- because it is so unbelievable, and anytime there's, like, a Jewish person involved in anything, like everybody puts their tinfoil hats on, this is impossible. They staged it to be victims. There's a lot of theories on the Internet about it, which is just, like, upsetting, because it's such an amazing story. Not even that, but just, like, the media downplaying it. Yeah. There was an altercation and the flight diverted and everyone's okay. Like imagine calling you "Night in '93." In altercation. I think this had an incident. Yeah. Not even in the cockpit. Yeah. What happened? Yeah. Yeah. It's an amazing story. It's so happy. Like, thank you, God. Truly an act of God. Yeah. And to the heroes on the plane and the pilot. The pilot. The plumber. The one pilot. Not the other, obviously. Obviously. Obviously. And the airline was, like, someone was speaking from the airline, they were, like, we hired a terrorist. That's insane. Yeah. She feel like when you're hiring pilots, like, of course, you should be careful when you hire anyone. Yeah. A pilot. I just feel like there should be some systems in place, you know? Yeah. It's a lot of power. It is a lot of power. Yeah. There's responsibility. Yes, it is. It is raining so loud here you hear it yes I hear it. That's crazy. It's crazy. It comes through on the microphones because it is very ambiant. I'm feeling it's Extremely relaxed. Yeah, like it's white noise. It's what they play in a spa like when you lay down Yeah, white or when you go to sleep. It's not the nan it plays. Yeah, totally. Yeah, so I hope you enjoy this I hope you don't have to pee because if you do it's just sort of gonna you do go pee Me anyone listening. Yeah, you can take your airpods to the bathroom. Yeah, you could take a break from work I love when people actually listen to us in such unique places like I know I've always been tagged in people like During labor. Um, I definitely have listened to the toast while you know pinch in a loaf You know, you have to pee. I always have to pee. Well, do you want to go pee? No, no, no, no Well, I'm just saying don't get a UTI if you have to pee, just go So true you guys can be so dangerous and like destabilizing oh speaking of I would like to clear up a rumor from yesterday's episode Because we post we had this hilarious conversation about insta cart and we posted a real of it A lot of people think it was like a very organic insta cart integration. Now insta cart you can advertise me Uh, insta cart should definitely like be running us our check and be like white listing that video and posting it all over social media But that was not an advertisement. I don't think we've ever been sponsored by insta cart I'm their number one customer, but I just want to clear the air like no FTC violations here. That was just completely organic Yeah, for sure, but I Guess that's good that people that people thought it was not no, it's better if it isn't out of people don't realize yeah It's best kind of I think the best kind of situation is like one where we get it's one where we get a check Yeah, and we didn't get one so I actually not good of us doing free advertisements and you guys like thought we were taking more of the ad box Yeah, and we weren't like we weren't just like conversing about our favorite brands, which won't happen again Our next story speaking of influencers influencing Like this is my time Davidson is making waves. He gave an interview with variety. He talked about a lot of things He's making a lot of waves for this interview. He talks about influencers and I'm gonna play the video because it's not like so long No, and it needs to be heard for you guys to understand my personal frustration like I think what I really want you to focus on here when you listen to the video Is his tone obviously it's what he's saying, but them because sort of like anger and like aggravation and like aggressive nature of his tone So he just take it to the primary source and you guys can judge for yourselves Ad and it makes me sad, you know and girls are just talking to themselves on there And they're like Okay, come get ready with me. I'm like, who the fuck are you? What do you do? Nothing What the fuck is this? They make 40 millilitre a year what and then I'm like The world's broken. There's girls by age that go on TikTok and they'll like Mudder like a thing and then do this like dance and I'm like, what the fuck are you doing? This is insane. There's no one else see how fucking insane and lame this is and these girls are like Super famous like everyone's like, oh my god. I can't believe I'm like What? Oh, this is the first time I felt really old, but I do think about it like once a week I'm like, should I just start an only fans and show softcock Like really tight on the way I'm just softcock in the tire Or just keep, you know, keep trying I don't know, yeah, if it all goes to fail, I could just soft soft cock it. We all could We can softcock it It's bad So understandably this video is like sort of taken the internet by storm when I saw it I was so like put off by it for so many reasons like You know, I think that the conversations around influencers like are so Outsize because it is this like sort of thing where yeah, like a girl does make $40 million and men do it too Not nearly at the same level like it's this female dominated industry where women make a lot of money And it's always being criticized and I always feel like it's being unfairly criticized because it is so female dominated But I was like Okay, maybe I would hear and let's say the person sitting in this interview was a coal miner And they said exactly what Pete Davidson said. I would still feel like it was rude But I would feel like they had a little bit of a leg to stand on when it comes like work ethic very hard and hard work This is a person who like literally doesn't work and when he does he like smokes pot and there's a camera And he's like talking in Kevin Hart like that's not exactly hard work either I would say it's probably the same amount of effort that it takes to film a get ready with me and honestly If you've ever filmed a get ready to me, they're really fucking hard like you're sweating and the angles and it's just like a lot So I just felt like if we're gonna have this conversation first of all Pete Davidson is so not the messenger for this topic and two the undertone in which he's delivering this He hates women. Yeah, it's like so aggressive. Pete Davidson hates women. It is so mean and like yes Influencing can be done by either gender so like for him to just say girls. It's very intentional He sounds so like full of hate and then a lot of people are like it's a joke You don't get it like where was the joke? I guess the end like was technically his joke about like soft cocking it Which is not funny, but that was the least offensive part of the video Oh, I thought that was like there's two parts of the video once he starts talking about only fans and it's like you know There's a difference between influencers and only fans and people who are doing get ready with me are probably not on only fans and only fans models are probably not doing get right right correct to completely different things So to bring it to that and like to keep talking about like his own junk and that he can go make money like first one Yeah, go do it. Well, that's the other thing This is a very highly paid person who relatively like does nothing like I I know he has a show coming out this year Like a TV show and I know he was on a TV show like a couple of years ago, and I think he does Live shows so he performs 16 minutes of comedy a couple maybe times a week I would say a couple times a month That does not equate hard work and we know from your the mother of your child You're not exactly like killing it as a father either so it's like you're not busy. What are you doing? You're not working hard. So why are you coming for everyone else? It's so randomly aggressive It's especially when this is a person who has literally built his career off the backs of successful women Like you're known as Ariana Grande's ex-boyfriend you known as Kim Kardashian's ex-boyfriend Like you're known as the guy who dates all the actresses who are like hotter and Like more successful than you so why are you gonna bite the hand that feeds you it was just such a bad take from the wrong source Now if we want to have the conversation about like our influencers But you know who are also like paid a lot and you know Maybe you could argue that they don't work that hard like athletes get a lot of money like we could have these conversations But we're only having it about influencers question mark. Yeah, and if you want to Commentate on influencers. There's things that you could say you know sure culture is broken sure The messenger is wrong and the way that he said it was so stupid get ready with me. What's wrong with get ready with me? No, the whole thing and it really pointed to a lack of understanding of how it works Because then he's also Talking shit about all the people who consume this. Yes, like you're dumb for thinking yeah Like what's wrong with everybody that that we watch this and these are influential people But like okay, so go to another planet then because this is the one that we live on. No, no I Hate him now. I said yesterday. I have a list of like men that I hate you very weird He did him for like a very long time. I don't really pick stories about him and when I do it's like I don't want to talk about him I hate him now too. Yeah, he's on my last base the way he spoke like those teeth like the lack of humor I would say it wasn't funny. That's the other thing like the second half which was meant to be the humorous part about like so Only fans. Yeah, no you ready showed us yourself in your underwear for reformation nobody really what's funny is that you think you're above soft Cock like you sometimes I I wish I could just retire off of showing my penis and it's like well You've only gotten to the place that you are like because of your big dick energy that whole thing like But we saw him in his and he's yeah, of course, but I'm saying it's not like you're like his biggest contribution to culture and why he is as famous as he is It's because of like his looks and like Obviously, yes, he's comedy, but he's not selling the venues that he's selling because he's the most talented community It's because he has a like cultural cachet which comes from being like a sex symbol and dating successful women like seriously This is such a bad take and it lacks literally an ounce of self-awareness. It's such a bad call and also you're just like like coming for girls You keep saying girls too. Not women. It's so spooky and I feel like I admit that you feel old You admit that you're older than these people so you're coming for like young girls who are trying to make a living and the use of the word girls And you know, Emily Mattikowski has like spoken about their time together as like really negatively and like borderline abusive when it came to like Their intimate times together and you know what like I feel like he's gotten such a Like a free pass, but also like a a glowing review from like people just love him and he's like When he really hasn't like done or contributed anything to the world outside of his relationships like for real So I just now take you like a look at P. Davidson holistically because you know, he put himself out there and I'm not like I'm seeing. I'm really not Yeah, yeah, he does get a pass for a couple reasons because he's like tall and he dated those girls and like it was fun for a moment and Another thing of course, of course, you know The 9/11 up at all and his mental health issues and his drugs. Yes, and when he speaks about those things Drive a car into a house and we all sort of forgot about he's to be wonders. Yeah, forgot about it I did forget that's what I'm saying now we're doing a Pete Davidson audit and the results are overwhelmingly negative Of course he has some regimen qualities like you said, but I don't know. I'm not like what I'm seeing. Yeah agreed this this is not good. No, it was so aggressive like so patronizing and disrespectful Yeah, like I hate him now and his page Paul spoken yet. Well, I literally tagged her. I said girl get him Yeah, cuz that's our queen and she like verbalized so perfectly when I talk about the influencer I can't really like explain why it bothers me so much and I feel like when she came for that sign in Nantucket she really verbalized it in a way that was like really poignant and However, the person to respond to this is Alex Earl Because he's talking about Alex Earl Alex Earl does get ready with me and makes 40 million dollars There actually are a lot of GRWM girls who are at that level and I want to say when you meet an influencer girl who's at that level Let me tell you there's not a person on earth who works harder. Of course, we different versions of like call mining physically laborious, but let me tell you she's Alex sitting at home recording one video day in caching and for when you get to that level Alex Cooper like that it doesn't stop like I'm sorry it actually is a different version of hard work but it's it's work Alex Earl is working harder than Pete Davidson one thousand percent and also like the Nantucket thing felt targeted at him so it was page you needed to respond and I just want to say I think in this situation Alex Earl should be responding Alex Earl comes to the front girl we need you yeah I think page like we know which where she stands when I think about like to get ready with me girls who make like 40 million dollars some and I'm talking about like influencers like even like K.R. Farraghane right like I would say she's up there with like influencers who rake in maybe she's not like a I don't think that's who well it's like he's she's like an older version of it but like when you think about the girls who operate at that level like from the internet let me tell you like it's insane what goes on in their day to day yeah I hate this yeah hate load entirely are you ready for our next story which is some really sweet news finally dancing with the stars showman's have you seen this what what the stars pro has confirmed her romance with the co star but it's asterisk okay okay what Adele's ikeman okay has confirmed that she is dating her competitor from dancing with the stars the next pro Ellen gankin oh okay so definitely asterisk have you on the asterisk even starting with Adele like she's new so even if she was dating like Sasha I would be like okay man if she was dating up a pro that would be bigger huge but people watching with the stars and ex pro it was a very divisive show like they'll be in the orbit of dancing with you see the truth I don't know what he's in but he's on set with her he's very cute let me see they hard-launched they hard-launched and then everyone commented like Connerly of it oh my god so glad I can you know finally say it out loud oh my god just classic she scored by an extremely good-looking couple what's his name Alan gankin g-e-n-k-i-n so cute um Connerly of it hard to see her to ever come you know he's classic and when people say that these days like they almost have to be saying it ironically because it's such like a pick me thing to say yeah he said oh emis later wrote hard-launch oh my god I've had no one to talk to about this until now that's cute no that's like a very undercurrent like under like handed way of saying like so that that could finally share with the world Conner so I don't need to keep this a secret anymore haha oh my god it's giving I knew first I hate when people do that Peter Mergetroyd who we spoke about yesterday well this is hot agreed they're very good-looking couple they are it's exciting it's so good for her career like I think that in order to be like a true pro you have to like have lots of drama romance heartbreak with your fellow pros and contestants it's sort of just the life cycle of being a dancing with the stars pro yeah and I think you're like attracted to your fellow dancer you spend so much time together they probably like fell in love on the show and they've been needing for a long time and I think that it's really cute I think it's really cute too we were also saying yesterday I said off the show that if I were on dance stars I want my partner to be max maximum yeah and I think just because of namesake no I think that go like have the best time nobody else wants to enjoy he's all yours I think we would win I want to win yeah I have thought about it more also like I'm pretty set on Jan Rovanick really yeah one he is I have started to follow pretty much all the pros he is so funny he has this list called the DTM list it's called dead to me and it's like when somebody does something like they're dead to me basically like me we both have lists like and people can't get off the list like it's kind of like a big deal to be on the list and obviously the Taylor connection I don't know if he's going to go on tour but like I would love to like stay in contact with him after my season in case any tickets or something and I think we would really get along and he's just like funny oh cute yeah I'm pretty set are you in it to win it I don't know he's crushing it with yeah with Hatiana yes and like I have to give him grace for last season we were pretty hard on him it was his first season yeah and he's coming off the Taylor to probably things he's like a hot shot you would also like this season the two first year pros were out the first week exactly honestly the fact that he made it so far is impressive yeah and I think he will make it really far with Tatiana he's my king yeah what and also I love his name like I can't call him Jan Gianrovnik like I just love saying it I mean if Joey Gratzi had he was a pro I would I would match with him like it I guess maximum yes you keep saying it like that it's all about like the vocal stem Alan Bernstein just like doesn't hit you know yeah it's Tasha Farber last night I was like craving like some good dancers I went on YouTube to like watch some of the best dance would you Google like dance with the stars compilation yeah no I didn't want to watch a compilation oh okay like what to choose right and I didn't have a positive experience everyone said I had to watch Jordan Fisher's like three way salsa mm-hmm Corbin Blue you watched just three way with Jordan Fisher I literally watched him and I should talk oh wait Corbin Blue was in the dance you know how they do that part dedication night I just I think I made it dedicated to Corbin Blue I might have to skip that night this year I'm uncomfortable you know what when I think about the impact like Corbin Blue had on my childhood like yeah I also might dedicate my yeah you might also have a three something but you know what I was thinking the other night like if I was on dance with the stars which I never want to be who would I dedicate to because like obviously I have three sisters like I can't choose one um and to be honest like I don't think Ben would do a good job and like it would give me like the it would have to be you right me because also like the story that you would tell about like our business yeah of course like we would just talk about the toast right and dancing with the stars and like how we're so sympatic so like I think everyone would understand my it's me and that would be my dream yeah no I think that we would crush it except for the fact that I have an aversion to three way yeah it's like it's very corny and like awkward yeah and so even this salsa with Lindsey Corbin and Jordan like which people commented yesterday I think you have to watch this it was uncomfortable she's like going back just plan a trip for when dedication night is like you would in fact take like a vacation just no I'm not recapping the next day like it's a comfy I am it's I'm comfy oh I don't know if you saw like people dying for next week dance with a star speed story number one okay I love it let me show I feel that it'll help with the flow I love it sometimes when we have like something that's how I felt about Pete Davidson today you're like it's like when you used to poop like just get it out yeah yeah you know I'm at that stage of pregnancy where I had so many boogers like I just want to say if you saw me driving to work today I'm my finger like I'm just the only one who's how you're driving to work today and did you see me picking my nose all the time I did not oh my god like the boogers that come when you're pregnant aren't taking a picture yeah I hope so they're insane and it's like I've lost really the ability to not do it in public you know because I'm so uncomfortable and if you see me going like this you know oh just now I'm in hell I remember that from the first pregnancy like kind of my biggest my leading symptom was the boogers they're like different shapes and sizes and it's texture-wise it's just like an eyewear yeah yeah so if you see me cruising around these streets because like the car feels like a safe space to pick your nose but it's not full of windows it's literally like a fish bowl like it's not at all um but you think like you have some sort of anonymity in the car like you don't yeah but like you gotta do what you gotta do yeah I also was looking at old like the past winners because I was like oh yeah so winners are never like obvious but I also feel like it's more competitive these days I don't know why do you think they're all the dances were shining the whole franchise like has really like just been leveled up and up and up so yeah when you watch like when Kim was on just like season 10 like it's just different like Emmett Smith one which is crazy who's that former Dallas Cowboy from the 90s so he's like an older athlete like a who's the guy baron Davis yeah yeah and he what yeah and then oh I watch him on shampoos dance with gang out do you have you seen that one yes yes yeah we're the ring like um like red yeah tracksuits yeah yeah so that was also like that's when it's really exciting like somebody random you think like a big linky athlete who like isn't so coordinated dance wise that's when it's really fun like even Guillermo like someone unexpected yep no but he just like got to be amazing yeah and I think it also speaks to her her I mean that one kind of dances that what he's so special that did yeah she is so I wonder what maximum would cook up for me a beating because that's a human cook up for you a spanking actually I've seen like one clip of him yelling at me next time you're on YouTube to max then talk the compilation goes like ours too soft well so I mean used to be like a very you know culture change yes called an idiot sandwich a culture change where it's like you used to be like now they're all like best friends when they talk about their connection like I've been seeing you know all these tributes to tail our hands in from Brit and it's like what did you guys even talk about like you're both it's not romantic you're both happily married so it's like but when they talk about this love that they have for one another I guess like you really have to experience it because it's like the trenches but no it used to be like training camp like boot camp your worst nightmare not really like you I'm saying like everyone contestants were not me if I'm out if I'm in it I'm in it to win it chilling I feel like not everyone's in it to win it no you see Kelly Pickler's free style with Derek Huff have you seen Lisa vendor pumps fake faint with glib I have because the more I watch dancing with the stars the more I understand her of course than when on the mass singer you want a thousand percent sometimes you just like have to get out of the situation like she lived down the street yeah right but she's like an older woman like the I fully understand my Lisa vendor pump fake fainted and like took herself out of the competition you have to see the stance between Kelly Pickler and Derek hot okay it's as if it's one of his like perfect looks like he's dancing with Julianne she's amazing okay what's a Kelly Pickler song like the one you know what I'm talking about it's like her most famous I don't oh she like started her music career and like quickly ended it and then became to sort of like a host but she'd high heel no no that stays of your life the best It's a drama in the works at Peacock from Seth McFarland and Brandon Braggum. Future Housewives is set in the decadent asteroid colony of New Beverly Hills where wealthy socialized juggle-bile, engineered beauty regimens, ruthless rivalries, and interplanetary scandals. But when a young starry-eyed outsider, played by Ariana, unexpectedly upends their glamorous world, it exposes just how far they've drifted out of touch in a society evolving beyond superficiality, in the sharply satirical yet surprisingly heartfelt reinvention of reality TV. Well, this sounds crazy except for Seth McFarland being a part of it. No, it sounds like really legit. Like she's a lead role on a Seth McFarland-created show on what is it, Peacock, is that what you said? I mean, on Peacock, yeah. She's sort of a darling. That's a crazy. Yeah. And she doesn't have a lot of acting experience beyond she's on Broadway, which a lot of people get plugged from Broadway. All right. Hold the phone. She starred in Lifetime Movie, Buying Back My Daughter, and she is appeared in the next story. And she is appeared in series including NBC's St. Dennis Medical, ABC's Will Trent, and the Roger Corman produced a tack of the 50-foot cheerleader. There are so many TV shows I was watching, maybe you've said to the stars, and I was seeing a commercial, and I was like, TV's number one show is back, The Tracker. I've never heard of her. I was like, TV's number one show. Like, it was insane. There are so many TV shows. Sorry. It's probably TV's number one show. It's the women who lost the remote, like, on the east coast in rural. There was simply a bunch of little texts at the bottom. It's not just number one period. It just made me chuckle. Justin Hartley, I guess I didn't know, he was on the number one challenge television to do that. The tracker. That makes sense. Yeah. Justin Hartley. Classic. So good for Ariana. I feel like her gravy train, like sort of never ends. Yeah. I think because she actually is talented, I think that she sort of invented the prototype of, like, Sierra Miller, the, what did you say? Breakup arc. Breakup arc. Yes, exactly. If, like, being the wrong, the wronged woman and the fans rally behind you and they get you brand deals. And, like, it just sort of never stopped with Ariana. Like, like, riding that into the sunset, like, it's not just a moment in time. Yeah. But, but I think it's both, you know, she got so much hype, hype when it all happened. And then she has been, like, successfully working every avenue. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, right. No, and I feel like it's inspiring for someone like Whitney or Sierra to, like, watch. That it's not just like this blimp. It's not a flash in the pan. And it doesn't have to be. I mean, it can be. You need the chops. Like, she does sing. She does act. Because the cream rises. It's true. And, like, you would divide it. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Right. Right. That it's not just, like, this blimp. You know. I mean, it can be. like she does sing, she does act. - Because the cream rises. - It's true, and you would have just never known. If you, I feel like a lot of people who are fans of Ariana Maddox know her from La Violin, like very Gen Z, like if you watched Vanderpump rules, like you would die if you knew now, like 10 years ago, you told me like Ariana's gonna be starring in a Seth MacFarlane show. - Like if you watch Vanderpump rules and all of them were like struggling actor, like weight-tracing as it means to become an actor. - Right in LA. - And if you looked at the cast and said, one of these people is going to be on Broadway, going to be in a television show, going to be Emmy nominated. - I wouldn't even, you could have given me 15 guests, I wouldn't even sit around it, 'cause for so many years she wasn't even a cast mate. - She was in a background. - She was she in a spread, and then she was Tom's girlfriend, and like she wasn't really on the show, and even when she was on the show, she really never meaningfully contributed to it until "Scamandable." Oh, "Scamandable," excuse me. And so it's actually even more impressive that she's as far as she is, given the fact that she's still like Stasi, you know, like she wasn't a star of Vanderpump rules, really, at all. - Yeah. - She's one of just like one of the last ones standing by the end. - Yeah. - Yeah. - Very impressive. And she obviously like is being managed well too, like she's a good relationship with Peacock, like they want to invest more in her. - Yes, here's her team if you wanted to know. - No, I'm okay. - If you're looking to get into a Seth MacFarlane show. - Oh, um, it's really like podcasting. Like right now, I like sitting behind a desk, I feel like when you're on camera, like people can really see like what you look like, and I am just pleased with like my angles and my Instagram stories for now. - Yeah, but eventually you would want to be on a Seth MacFarlane show. - Like when I'm done, like having my children and I get my full body makeover and like lobotomy. And somebody says like, we want you to star in the set. I'd be like, sure, I'll try it, you know? At that point, I will try anything. I'm in the place now where like I'm actually not willing to try anything even remotely now. - Yeah, I agree with that. I really like Seth MacFarlane. - I love Seth MacFarlane. - I'm like any Ted. - Ted. - A favorite movie. - Like, they're, he could do no wrong because of Ted. - It's true. - I don't think he's like done much since Ted that like I would like or watch, but I don't care because we will always have Ted and Ted too. - Ted is the greatest movie of all time. - And you know they came out of the Peacock original show. Like why didn't we watch it? A Ted show. - I don't know. I don't need, like, 'cause I'm satisfied. - Yeah. - Ted does everything for me. - It's true. And then some with Ted too, which was also really good. - The old quoting Ted. - Oh my God, I am Ted. Like I, I never left the restaurant, like with Ted, for real. - Yeah. Are you ready for our fifth and final story, which is gonna make you mad? - Oh, it was kind of a theme today. - Really? - Pete Davidson. - Oh, okay. Okay, this is another trope that like makes you mad. - Oh, who got a GUI? - No, a woman having to give a man money. - Oh, I feel sick. - She sells half of her music catalog for nearly $200 million, but she may have to pay her ex-husband. So she is getting a huge paycheck after selling off half of her music. The singer has reportedly sold half of her stake in her music catalog to an investment company called Pop House for $180 million according to TMZ. However, her ex-husband is likely also getting a chunk of that money thanks to their divorce. So per document obtained by TMZ, CIO will get $165 million for the songs that she wrote before getting married to Dan, including cheap thrills, chandelier and more. He has agreed reportedly to wait any rights to that money, the songs that she wrote before. got married. If she gives him one million dollars. Oh, just a million. Just a million for all the songs that she wrote before they even got married, which he literally has no claim to because it's before they got married. Oh yeah, so it's like, yeah, I'll give, if you give me, but why would I give you anything? Yeah, okay, fine. That's funny. Then the songs that she wrote while they're married, there's an extra 15 million dollars for those songs that she wrote after that they got married. That money will be put aside and held in escrow, which could eventually be fought over between the X's if they can't come to an agreement on it. Here's the thing though, it's like, obviously he's insane. But it's like, Loki a good deal. Like, I just pay him. Yeah. Like, your music is worth so much more than $16 million. So just like, give him like seven and a half. But it's, it's not even close to half. That's not even close to 50% of what she's worth. No, but it's like, maybe she's not liquid though. A lot of rich people are not. Well, now she is. She's got a hundred. Oh, right. I think that's probably why she sold it. So, girl, like, just give him the 15 million. And then also, she has to pay him $42,500 a month for child support. No shame. Like, literally no shame. I'm sorry. Any man, extenuating circumstance is not included. Any man who takes like child support or like, uh, what's the other one? When you're not of kids, Adam, like, you should be a Maris. Like, you really shed. And they were married for two years. Celebrities need to stop getting married because like, it means nothing to them. Um, and they should just have like weddings and stuff like with no legal. Of course, not legally binding. Yeah. Like, don't sign the thing. Just vibes. Yeah. Like, we're worried. Yeah. I don't think Taylor and Travis shouldn't done something like that. No, but Taylor's could never get herself into a pickle like this. Like, right, right. But like, see, some things are unavoidable, given like where you get married and what the law is. Yeah. Um, but I feel confident that Taylor has systems in place. Like, he's not getting a dollar. Not a dollar. Not a dime. Yeah. Yeah. Um, Kylie and Timothy should do that. Yeah. And I think that a lot of celebrities get to a place where like, they don't even consider getting married or even engaged. They're just like, with the person, like, you could get married. Have a wedding and just like, don't do the paperwork. 100%. That works for me. You don't even have to tell me about it. And I'm surprised that like, it hasn't become more of a trend within Hollywood. Like, there's so many like, you know, um, cautionary tales of this happening to so many celebrities, both male and female. And I wonder why they all continue to get married. Like, are you guys stupid? But I also feel like it can. I probably just all think that they're different. No, but I think it actually can be done relatively successfully. Like, you don't hear any J. Low Kim and Kanye. True. And J. Low and Ben Affleck. They both had enormous states. And they got to work so quickly painlessly. Yeah. They definitely were like, what's mine as mine? What's yours is yours? I think they had like a marital home that they sold in split. And so yeah, it's nice when they're on the same level. See ya. And this rando are not. Yeah. Exactly. So like, when one is like poor and like trying to steal from you, but obviously starts to argue me, you know, the child is accustomed to this way of life. I need $42,000 a month. Sorry. I also just want to say because I know people are going to like come or me unless the dad has like soul custody. Sure. You can collect child to the part, but like you don't. You don't. They're splitting custody. Then they split the expenses. But I guess like, what if one of them is like super wealthy? Like then you have to go to dad's house and like dad's for. Right. That's what I was just saying. And the child is accustomed to it. I take it back. It's not 100%. But like coming for like someone's work. And like, what's $42,000 a month per year? 40 times 12 carried the six. I don't say 250. No. That's really dumb. I'm going to say $700,000, $500,000 plus 16 lump sum plus $1,000,000 plus 16 potentially half of the 15. Yeah. Be careful. You marry. Yeah. Well, she like it never hurts to have a prenup. Because like, you could always cancel it. She definitely did. She got married in 2000. Well, yeah. A lot of time celebrities have pre-naps that don't hold up in court. That's why it was such a big deal when Kelly Brienne did. Oh, so Kelly Brienne was on a podcast. So she spanks. Saying what? She spanks her kids. I saw someone sent me a quote that she's like said something that's well, she's brave for going there. Like that's insane. No, asking her if she's dating or like gonna date. And she was like, no, one because she feels that it would really rattle her kids. Like, that's just not what she's willing to do. And two, she feels so happy in her life. She feels like she's finally at a place where she has peace. She says I get into better. I'm not like exhausted from my life. And you have to give up a lot of time and space to a person. She's like, I don't want you right now. So Queen Kelly, single until she meets the right fella. I think this is from 2018 where she said she spanks her kids. Yeah. That's insane. Okay. Like, literally, it's giving Corey Gamble. Oh my god. I'm sorry for bringing that up. If you've been like trying to run. It's giving Corey Gamble. That was a topic of conversation in 2018. Listen, I think a lot of people talk about it in the privacy of their homes. Like, you would never catch me getting involved in that topic. Um, but Kelly Brienne. Kelly Brienne is going to Kelly Brienne. Do you want to cut that out? Probably just trying to bury that. She said Kelly was in her scandal. She said was like, I find nothing wrong with being like, my parents being me and like, I turn out great. Oh my god. She's so crazy. Um, I'm really sorry for saying it. I'm repeating it again. Three times now. And what exactly did she say? No, okay. Um, no, don't make up your eye bad. I was kidding. Um, no, that's not the podcast I saw her on. I think it might have been lots of entries says. Um, and she was just like, she seemed so like at peace. Like, obviously what happened with her ex-husband is so tragic, but I think there was also like a lot of trauma there. So she's probably just like a really good place. Yeah. And the Kelly at the sphere when then we'll go to Vegas. Uh, I hope Kelly doesn't go to the sphere because I actually don't think that I can handle it. Given your motion sickness, your propensity for motion sickness. Yeah. So like, please, no one I ever love. Go to the sphere. Oh, okay. Someone that my sister loves go to the sphere so that we can maybe sit that we have cause to go to Vegas. Okay. Mimi Webb stay away from the sphere. Rascal flat stay away from the sphere. Oh my god. Rascal flat to the sphere. Like life is a highway. And there's probably like all these roads. Like, you could do like Chris Stapleton out the sphere. Yeah. You also have to like be doing drugs. I feel I feel like the sphere for certain. But it is drugs. You know, when the grateful dead has like a residency there, but I guess you do the grateful dead drugs. No, we have. No, no, no, I think the sphere is drugs like that. It gives you the feeling of being on drugs because it's like psychedelic and I'm like pretty sure like everyone in the sphere is on drugs. I know it's a family friendly environment. Okay. Okay. Maybe not like the Wizard of Oz screenings. I'm pretty sure everybody who goes to like the musical events there. The Eagles like yeah. Well, Eagles might just be drugs. I think Ben has been to the sphere. Yeah. He went to see the Eagles. They were on a bachelor party and there was like a show at the sphere and they went. Yeah. That's two times the week he brought up the Eagles on the show. What was the first time? I said it yesterday about something. The band or the football team? The band. You know, I happened to really like that one song that I thought was a reba song, but my bad. I don't even know it. I've been running down the road trying to loosen my load. I got seven women on my mind. And I thought it's a reba song because when reba was on the view, nope. The voice, you know that they have all the coaches performed together. So it was John Legend, Nile Horan, added to the list of things I always bring up. I always bring up this performance. Reba and Gwen Stefani and they came up like singing a country song and Reba started. They're all looking at Reba. So I just assumed they were like singing one of her songs. It's like how cute we're all singing Reba song. My whole life after that, I thought that it was a. And then I think I went to like an Eagles game and they were like singing. I'm like, why do I listen to Reba? My mistake. It was confusing. Yeah. That's an amazing performance. Well, thank you so much for bringing that to light. I've also been seeing a lot of because you know, I'm like the voice curious. I haven't watched it yet. But with like the new judges, Queen Latifa and Riley Gray, I've been like really interesting seeing it and everything I'm seeing like looks amazing. Although I do feel like Kelly is like having to fight for contestants like with Queen Latifa. They kind of like cover the same. Very maternal, very voice-dressing voice. So I think they're like fighting for people. And Adam Levine and Riley Green are not. It's like a saying that the voice keeps Adam Levine employed. He's like so brand up. I know. I know. I know. He's there. Like anything of Blake Shelton, who was like the king of country and the one. He's not the king of country. He's like, he's so new. Like maybe like a small dupe. It's like Gen Z. Like a small province. Like it should be look. Oh, we'll look Brian's on American Idol. Like one of those. There's a million. Yeah. It should be Morgan Wallin because he came from the voice. He did. I don't think he would be a good coach. No, I don't think he'd take everyone drinking. He'd probably not even possible. No, he wouldn't be good. Okay. That's our show. It is. Thank you so much for listening. Of course. Like we couldn't appreciate it. Literally anymore. Like we kind of. Yeah. We're full of appreciation. We really are. Thank you so much for listening to this. I'm going to show you. I'm going to find my new YouTube. I'll see you tomorrow. Love you. Bye.
