If it's all right with you, Blake, I prefer to keep the curtains drawn. We have business to discuss. - Business? - Regarding the Winchester estate and all that comes with it, more importantly, the relics your father inherited from the Roman coins to the Cyca daggers from the first century BC. The Jaboneserie O'Ran by Van Gogh, for instance. - Dad gave that to mom as a gift. - Huh? - Your late mother had a great eye, Blake. Rayna adored her. - I know. - How's the security in this place? - As good as any museum in the world. If it's one thing my dad drilled into me, it's security. - And besides you and me, do you know who else has the codes to this place? - Nobody. - Are you absolutely sure about that? - Well, no, I guess not. - Which is why I'm suggesting moving his cherished belongings to a vault off site. You want to take it all away? Not take it away to preserve it properly. I can assure it's safety. You're still a teenager, Blake. You shouldn't have to be responsible for this for the rest of your life. This way, we'll never have to worry. We? Tell me, you'll sleep on it. Will you? - Speaking of which, your aunt was concerned about you living all alone with this place so empty. She knows how fragile you can get. - Hmm, I think I'm okay for now. - I'm sure you understand the gravity of your father's history. These aren't just interesting conversation pieces. I'd be very careful not to disturb them. The past never truly dies. (phone ringing) - Who is it? - You didn't think you did without me, did you? (crow cawing) - Maxine, don't you have class? - That didn't stop you. Besides, I found someone to ditch with. - Hey man, Max said you're feeling down so I figured I'd tag along. Keep your company, you know? - Yeah, I think we've solved the mystery of why you want to hang out more. - Easy Blake, we come in peace. - Max, Max, Max, always a pleasure to see you. And this is Joe. - I think you've met before. - Yeah, remember that time I used your cane as a baseball bat to hit rocks? Your new car window looks great. - Ah, yes. I remember you, well Joe. Always lovely to see Blake's friends. Again, yes, something like that. - Well, you have a full house now, so I shall see you off. Thanks for coming by Uncle Kelvin. - Remember what we talked about Blake? Enheriting this much history, you should be cautious of who you allow near it. - Was that a British thing or did he just insult us? - It's a British thing and he just insulted you. - So wait, your dad left you all this cool stuff? It's yours? This cool stuff was everything to my dad. His life's work, which means don't touch any of it. - Wonderful ambiance here for guests. Did he keep all this stuff just for you to stare at? - I'm not sure what he wanted by leaving me all this. - Holy guacamole, take a look at this room. - Demet Joe, get out of there. - Cool, ancient football gear. - It's Corinthian combat armor. - I don't know that team, but I bet they kicked ass wearing this thing. - Blake? - Yeah, sure Joe. They were awesome. We can't all be smart like you. - Blake? - What? - There's something parried in the fireplace under the fire logs. It sort of looks like a message. - It's a parchment. Where? I was in this room all week, how do I miss this? - What's it say? - I don't know. It looks like hieroglyphics. My dad was fluent in it when he had his artifacts business with my uncle, except I, I'm not. - That's what we have technology for. - What are you doing? - There's this new app that can translate hundreds of different languages, even the old ones. - As all this hieroglyphics, I doubt it. - Tada. - You have inherited a curse. - Quick delete that, it's probably spam. - Hmm, return ancient artifacts to the right four places. Or you too will share my fate. Start in Egypt with. - The eye of God. Whatever you do, don't. - What was that? - No clue, but it came from the basement. - You can't blame that one on us. - It was from the storage area. - Blake, wait up! - So what is it? - Holy shit. - Please tell me you suddenly developed a sense of humor and this is the best prank ever. - That must be. - It can't be. - You missed the drawing on the back. Look, it has that weird, decorative eye surrounding a stone. The exact same as what we're looking at. It's right beside a picture of a king. - I know history buff, but I'm pretty sure it's a Pharaoh. Hold on a minute. So this thing doing the rumba around my basement. You're trying to tell me it's the eye of God. And it belongs to a Pharaoh? - No. It's telling us. - Maxine, don't touch it. - Are you nuts? - See? Everything's fine. The stone. It's so beautiful. - Maxine, you okay? - Max? - All I want is to return to the king's chamber. The king's chamber. The king's chamber. The king's. - Give me that thing. - Whoa, that's weird. It stopped humming the second eye-held it. - It must think you're its mommy. - Max, you okay? - Yeah. Why? Are you? - A second ago, you looked like an extra from the Walking Dead. You said something about the king's chamber. - The Walking Dead. Did I? - Yeah, you did. - You think that's part of the curse? - That is no curse. - You're just saying that because you're the only one who's cursed. - No, I'm saying that because curses aren't real. They're made up to scare people who don't know any better. - Then how do you explain what we just saw? - It's a cheap parlor trick, okay? Ever see a magician levitate objects with their mind? Same thing. Optical illusions, magnets, angles. - Wait a minute. You're saying they can't levitate stuff? - Ugh. I know this is freaking you out, but we all saw it. Maybe we can help figure out what this is together. If your dad was here. - But he's not here. Is he? - Blake, I don't think it was a magic trick. And I don't think you do either. - Look, even if I don't, I think I am just really, really tired. And I need to sleep on it. - Sleep on it? This could be supernatural. If you want, we can help you out. - You can help me by going home. Both of you. This isn't your problem to deal with. It's mine. - What's he mad at us for? We're not the ones who doomed his life. - Just give him some space, Joe. He's probably in shock. - First, his dad dies. - Now this. Rough week. - Blake? Blake? - Hello? The ong is the key. Dad? The ong is the key. Three days until the next full moon. Dad. What? Where are you? What ong? Three days for what? What's that even mean? Read the note in the floor. I need your help. Help. Help you? I can't. I barely passed Jim. Let alone help you with. What have you're talking about? Dad? What note in the floor? My arm. It's something growing on it. It's like. some kind of weird tattoo. Just answer me. Please! Dad! Dad? Dad! Nightmares already, aren't they? Curses and amulets. A shrink would have a field day. Not to mention a weird arm tattoo. Okay. Well, that part's still real. Wake up, Blake. It's like conception. Levels of dreams. Maybe if I'd just scratched it. No, that just makes it worse. Think, think. What did Dad say? Three nights. Full moon and. onk. No, no. All out of onks. The note. The note in the floor. What note? And what floor? The basement. Floor. Floor. Note. Note. Note in the floor. So that's why you're hiding. You couldn't just use a fridge magnet. When the eye of God has been touched by hand, it has awoken the curse within curse. Great. Thanks, Dad. Do not stare into the eye for it will sleep you. Take the eye of God to. the king's chamber? Before the next full moon? Full moon. Just like Dad said. It's 2am. What kind of weirdo rings a doorbell at 2am? It's definitely a curse. What are you doing here? Are you crazy? Seeing as I've been hearing things in my heads since I held the eye of God, I'm considering it. Hearing things. What? Things. Oh, nothing much. Just three days until the full moon. If you stare into its eye, it will sleep you. The usual insanity. What's that paper you're holding? Uh, nothing. Just a grocery list I'm working on. Uh? You were gonna hide this from me? The voices were saying the same thing that's in the note. And we both know I didn't see this. So, what does that mean? I think that means. This is a real curse, Blake. At least that explains the tattoo on my arm. Unless I like walking into tattoo places at 1am, I'd say my family's cursed. Whoa. That trippy. I'm telling me. This is why we need to go to Egypt and find this chamber. Like your father's note says. Egypt? Forget it. You, me, no one is going to Egypt. Ow! What's that for? So, you were just gonna let your bloodline rot from a curse because you're an introvert. I thought you were smart, Blake. What about school? Oh, an Uncle Kelvin would freak if he knew I took off and left this place unattended. We skipped school tomorrow and then it's turn break. Two weeks off. Our window is three days before the full moon, right? We can be back before the weekend's out. Don't touch the globe. So, we're going to Egypt then? No, we're not. We need to put an end to this curse. We don't even know if it's real. And if it is, we don't know what that means. What this curse is going to do. Blake, it's a curse. And if it's coming to get you, well, I'm sure it ain't good. A lot of this isn't good. Right, Blake. What would your dad do? Damn it. Had to go and say that, didn't you? That sounds like a yes. Okay, next. You're right. Let's do it. Great. We're coming with you. We? Yup. Just spurt three tickets. Three. Hey, buddy. Joe. Max, Cole. Tell me to meet her here. You do everything you're told? Well, of course. It was Max. But tell me again while you're coming? Hey, don't blame me. I didn't get the tickets, but kind of makes sense. If you don't make it out alive, somebody should tell your story. I got quite the following on Instagram. Great. Either way, I heard you get fun. [engine revving] [engine revving] This is your captain speaking. I'd like to welcome you to Cairo, Egypt. Current temperature. Our temperature outside is 104 degrees Fahrenheit. I sure hope you're a fan of the heat folks because it's only getting hotter from here. [music] Intumed is a production of Voyage Media.
