[Music] Oh, hi, welcome back. You fucking slurs. I am Popeye the Sailor Man. And I am Brandon Scott. And this is the read. Thank you for joining us. Damn right it is and we are back once again for the usual black fuckery and shenanigans. But before we get to the fuckery in the shenanigans, we want you to do something called black excellence. We talk about black people, black American people, African American people, African people, black German people, black Brits, black people from Atlantis. Hey, Holly, all of that was at Lansica and Lania. Black excellent people. And this week, we're going to get of it over to a baddie in tennis. You know, the US has been open. Well, not literally, but, you know, you're proud of that. No, I'm not. I'm just insane. So, Taylor Townsend, 30-year-old tennis champ, just scraped over a big ol' trophy for doubles. The United States opened. We're just played with her partner, Katharina Sunaikot, Czech Republic, white lady from over there. And they defeated an all-American team consisted of Ashland Kruger and Robert Montgomery. So now, Taylor Townsend is a big champ and is his car first time winning a doubles slam. Yeah, double slam championship. First time in it. Partner, I think, is their second time winning the doubles. And this is particularly delightful because, hey, Taylor, black, beautiful skin and complexion. Not just because black, but I mean, look at her. Also, gorgeous. Not just because black and beautiful complexion, gorgeous, talented. Also, this is a great full circle story because she was not long ago denied funding by the United States Tennis Association because they said that she needed to improve her overall fitness. This was basically a dog whistle, quiet racist way of saying. Too thick, too curvy, too gorgeous, we don't see it because our princess peaches and our daisies. How will they, you know that whole thing? Right. So, now they can all eat croh, dick, and I don't know, Cornish and because, you know, she's batty and what I really appreciate was the photo that I saw of her posing with the trophy in a gorgeous full grill. Yeah. So what's going to happen is you're just not going to be able to take or you're going to get a program. And she did that. I'm so glad that she openly was like, yeah, these homes, that was actually extremely fucked up, which I'll do it, I was the number one junior player in the world and y'all acted like I needed to do anything differently before I was ready to go. You but just are weird and mean and yeah, and I haven't forgotten. And I won't forget. And me, my mama will never stop talking about it. Yeah. Oh, my mama said, it's up for Patrick Mackin row for the rest of his days. Good, good job, Taylor. I really sat there and watched so much tennis. I actually feel like I'm starting to get it now. And then people sent me this video of what I basically said last week, which is that tennis is weird. The scoring is weird. The whole fucking setup, the journey to actually win in a tennis game. Believe a football fan is saying this. And it's an American football fan. American football is so straightforward. Okay. All right. Okay. It's literally math. You have to have a graph in a scientific calculator. Okay. So you have to run a specific amount of yards, but in a yard, that's a down. And there's a you have so many of them. So they you have to count. So okay. So then keep track of it because this big AS field has how many notches are, oh, you weren't able to do it and kick it into this W. Did you kick into the job? Okay. Well, no, you can't. And then that's how many points, but this is how many points? Okay. Well, then the why is a different amount of points? Yeah, that's exclusive, but you can't get a shit. What are you talking about? Tennis is literally what part stand over here are two people? One or two people stand over here. You hit the ball x amount of time to win. No, no, I didn't say the game itself. I said the scoring and the the road to winning is what's unnecessarily complicated. You have about four times. Why do we go from 15 to 30 to 40? What the hell kind of sense do that make? Does it matter if you understand that there are four different points like this one, but we can only advantage because if you don't want you to go down the 30 all, and it's like, well, bitch, how did we even? Okay. Why don't you go? Oh, one point, two point, all right, because that's not what they put on the screen. I just cannot believe that you really would like for me to believe. You got to do that six times. It's somehow more complex. And then you got to win one best of five. I don't even understand what you got to win, but for it's really over. When a football over, because if you football is a timed sport, when the clock runs out, it's over. It's over unless it's not. No, it's over unless it is. Well, yes, this is such thing as overtime. Meanwhile, tennis just have five hour matches because fuck you. The hell? Yeah, you could beat me. But you that's the thing. You could be a nigga 30 times, but in tennis, you got to win 50. You just you can't just win. You got to win over and over and over. And over. The roots of tennis are actually kind of teeth. It almost gives like, it almost gives like phase 10 or some shade or like one of these hats for a car games where it's like, I got you, but then climb back up. I don't write. Well, well, because you had to, you could little, you could be on on phase 10 and a bitch who's on phase one can come all the way back and beat you. That's right. That's tennis. That's tennis. That's right. Okay. His beat. He's the only two of us over here for beat me. All right. Well, sure. Either way, you watching you follow it enough. Yeah. I mean, at this point, I am actually really starting to get it. I wasn't even confused. I was like reacting appropriately when the audience was making noises. I was like, okay, damn, I'm really getting it. I really am. I'm not going to watch it again till some more black people play in and you know, the big, the big game. What's looking better for us? Yeah. I mean, been, been shot and did get his ass whoops. Who was that? I actually don't know none of the European players name. So don't even get me started. Cargo, wait up. Yeah. I mean, you know, she and Naomi went pretty far into the tournament, but it was a couple of whites who walked away with it. Oh, girl, who took the new number one spot, was like, yeah, actually, I'm going to take that number one right from your Miss girl. Thank you so much. She got a terrible attitude problems. I'll link her, but you know, whatever. I'm not too deep into it. Game set match, do you know which one's which? Well, now I do. I mean, if they're in that border, that makes you win. See, you see how unnecessarily confusing that is? What? That makes you win, though, you can win the game without winning the game because so how do you win the game? The game, the set or the match? See? It's the match. So it is, that is a little weird. You have to win. I'll take my two seconds to girl. My daddy, when he, you know, when he was still trying to have a heterosexual son, he was like, okay, here is how football works. I'm joking. You have a boy. Yeah, you know, first boy. Here's how football works. Yeah. And I'm just not being like, let's just watch basketball. This is too much. I don't. It's really not. Man, and why are all of these people trying to keep so what they doing? And what do you over here doing? You see how you have 18 niggas doing 18 different things on the same time? What is the running back dude versus the quarterback running the front.
in a side back and in a, like, what are all these different things? They're harming each other. So vicious, they're probably hard. I liked the most, the most watching them harm each other. You throw it. You're run with it. You're, oh, Jesus, it's okay. I mean, there are a lot of positions. Yes, it's a, I was surprisingly, it's a big roster. You were good at playing football. Yeah, the one time that I decided to take part in MPE niggas is outside playing football and I have on my dad, Michael Vick Jersey. Not the one time. Oh, you was throwing yourself. Baby caught the pig skin, took off. Niggas will always say, oh, it's that Vick Jersey. They got on that Vick Jersey. I knew it. I knew you was filling yourself in that Vick Jersey. So that's what they should have done. It just got you more jerseys and you would have been more into it. Or forced me to actually go outside and play. Well, and not just sit in the house. I just decided to give you guys a taste that day at Miss Killian. Just give you a little sprinkle. Don't ever, don't ever discount our doubt the dog. See, I was doing you bitches. A favor. Remind of my mother, fuck you business. If I would have actually went in joint, how? Yeah, you would have consistently been state champions. Except for that one time, I barely scraped it together. F beer then, but you know what? You found a way without me and good for you. Yeah, I mean, you would have had CTE, but I know. So it's for the best. It's for the best close enough as it is. The launch knows is launching a library. Mm, here. Oh, I did hear about that from my mom actually. Oh, so a digital free library. We're rare. Black books will be available. And I just, am I just salonge? What do you do wrong? That is such a great idea. Why is it that you you pop out? We feel like it and you're like, here's something I have to offer. And it is just exemplary and it's, it's, it's, it's what the streets need. And whether they knew they needed it or not, it's, you're like here. Your hands, you're fucking welcome. It don't speak to me. I'm actually going, I think every last book is borrowed. Which, I mean, is incredible, but wow, salonge. This is an also like considering. Right. When you consider who what it is, right. But yeah, this is amazing. Wow. I mean, I know she was into art and all that. But this is probably should I should be reading. You know, like this is the sort of what I see. This is the sort of shit I really need to be getting more into. But yeah, this is, it's just so salonge and this is really a gift. Like making literature more accessible to the people, especially, you know, literature from us, our stories, our art that all of this sort of thing. It's just, I do love it. All right. Let's get into pop culture. It's like what we call hot tops this week. I don't really have much to say, nothing really jumped out at me. The Emmys were Sunday and I missed them. I was very much sleep, but I'm sure that they are, I'm sure I could watch the whole thing on like, who the or something, but I did take from it is that, um, Wittles Bay, when a ton of shit and I literally just watched the first episode, like the day before the day, the first episode was, like, I think I get it right off of that, it's, it is very funny, but it's not like, it didn't feel like performance funny to me in that first episode, the way that something like a, oh, no, like any regular comedy where you know, people are like telling jokes that feel like jokes. It's more like, um, like get out or like one of Jordanfield's comedy feels more scared, baked into situation or first now, rather than like, yes, yes. But then also scary and I didn't look up anything about it, so I don't know what it's about. And I think all I know is that it's supposed to be both funny and scary and I was like, wow, no, I've never heard of anything that's for me, less, um, yeah. So, but congratulations to them because they really did rack up a ton of awards and I saw that the person, the woman who created the show, I think she, oh, was that the show runner? Is she the one who, yeah, she wanted to create her, yeah, okay, because she said that she first wrote this like 15 years ago, 20 years ago, something like that. And so it was just like a reminder that sometimes you might be sitting on an incredible idea and maybe it does just need that time to really bake and come to fruition and show up as it's full self, but you know, just keep going, whatever you working on, just keep trucking because you never know, baby, you might sweep the Emmys one day. If anybody needed to hear that should use me, because the way I'd be looking at one note, post it's dry race, you know what, this is, this end day I was there looking better than them. Oh my god, he's our Halle Berry inspired, Halle Berry inspired the whole look was Halle Berry inspired. Um, I think they posted a picture of like, Halle in a very similar dress with that thing. Cute as hairstyle. So like, yes, Zendaya, obviously, you know, did the models a favor by not being a model because god damn, and it's fashion week. You host just wouldn't have had jobs. Oh, but when she walked out on that stage to present that award, I, oh, I was, I legit lost my breath. Like, I have not seen anybody that fucking striking. Like she is just, I just want to stare at her when Marcelo Hernandez, he was presenting an award. And he did this gag of like, since I'm up here, I'm finna invite some celebrities to my house cause like, I'm gagged. And he did that with Zendaya was like you and, and Mr. Spider-Man are welcome to come, you know, to dinner in my house. And she's just cracking up. And I'm like, can we just keep the camera on her? Like, I just want to stare at her. And she is so beautiful. I don't know how Tom Holland does anything else. I would be up her ass all day. I know why he does want to out in public, strong army clothes, like anything that don't touch her. Okay, the best enough questions. Thank you. And she is just, and I didn't know she's just on my, is she good? You're good. You're good. Hey, be quiet. Right. Pressure's cargo. Right. Yeah. He's, you know, quite protective of her as he should be, but Jesus, God, she's also very likable. Right. She just seems like such a sweet person. She seems incredibly funny and smart and, you know, generous. And so you all that and you look like that, Zendaya, like I just, if I feel about 10s, my God. Oh, yeah. That's another one worse. Like you are, you, you know how everything is art. My damn, baby. Where do you get the nerve? Where do you find it? Yeah. How did you do that? Zendaya was absolutely a highlight for me. Um, Mariska Hargitay was the host and she was actually hilarious. I love her. It was a bunch of. Miss Hargitay was a bunch of jokes about how, you know, she says something like NBC been, it's 100 years of NBC and I've been all on every single season. She's like, oh, it's nice to see you guys in the crowd. I've arrested so many of you. It's a lot of parts in here. A lot of victims in here. You know, everybody does. Yeah. The writers gave her a good. Yeah. Yeah. It was funny and she looked amazing. Um, so I don't think I watched the whole show. I saw the Dolly part and tribute. They had Reaper McIntyre saying that was nice. I saw the clip of McColley Kulk in up there with, um, Oh, I can't remember which if he's Dan Levy. Oh, yeah. He's Dan Levy. Eugene is his dad. Right. Um, and I can't remember the woman's name, who's also from Shit's Creek, but they were up there talking about Catherine out here and everybody was bombed. Yeah. Yeah. And, um, that was really sweet. And then that man who died, his son was like mentally ill and killed him and his wife Rob Reiner. Oh, shit. I think he won like a posthumous, um, Emmy. I think so. And they said something. Wait. Am I just finding out that Rob Reiner died? How can, how did you miss that? It was a huge story. His stabbed, wait a minute. He's not in no way. This was like a year or two ago. His mentally ill son stabbed him and his wife late last year. Yeah. I can't. There's no way you just know here and about that. There's because I'm thinking this couldn't have just left my mind. It wasn't that long ago. That's what I'm saying. How did you miss it? Cause.
Oh, I have to look into this. This sounds terrible. I mean, it is terrible. Yeah, yeah, so it was like 30 some years since his last Emmy. And I think his dad was actually the person who had that record of like the longest number of years, the most years in between Emmy Awards. So yeah, this is wild. I, I, I, it feels too big and tragic for me to not have heard about it. Yeah, but I'm like, where were you girl? Well, I'd really don't know. I think it was right around the holidays too. It was just a insane story, so, so sad. Yeah, I was like, uh, maybe two weeks or so before Christmas, but still. Yeah. Well, okay, damn. Well, yeah, God. Yeah, so, um, on that, just an extremely tragic note. Otherwise, it was, uh, it seemed to be a pretty good show overall. Yeah. Meanwhile, every horrible white politician. Oh, I know. Is gangreness open, open leeges and sores. Baby, did you say they wield Mitch McConnell out of that refrigerated crypt? I said, this man. He is the lights are on, but absolutely nobody is. Oh, y'all got a quick playing game. That's what us let him go like love him and let us go for the, the greats we have lost by that bitch die. You gotta let him go, bro, it's been going off for too long. Like y'all just not serious with that. So, oh, but the Emmys. Yeah. Black people did not win that one damn thing. Yeah. Nobody from Abbott one is in day, it didn't win. So, you know, that was a little, you know, don't love that. That pissed I missed it in that regard. Right. Right. I didn't like to know who and what wins the stuff, specifically, like I like the acting, I mean, the TV and film stuff. So, I watched go, Emmy Oscar, I watched BAFTA's, but yeah, that one I was incredibly sleep. And from what I saw about it, I was like, all right, yeah. Alison Janie one. I really like her. I don't know why. Please don't let her be secretly racist or something. Bucky. I don't think I've ever heard about Alison Janie being. Please don't. Right. Please, please, please. In fact, if it's true, please just don't tell me because I love that lady. Life finds a way I just don't share. Yeah. Because that lady is. She's one of them one. She's up there with like what's my baby cake's name for marry with children? Oh, Katie Segal. Katie Segal. There it is. Yeah. Well, you can't tell me a bad thing unless you can. Please don't. Please don't. She was good in what was that crazy show with the white people shooting? Suns of Arc. Yep. Suns of Arc. She was so good in that. She's in one piece, too, randomly. Really? This live-action show here, great casting because she was, you got cast for a role that Jamie Lee Curtis wanted to play and everyone was like, oh, Jamie would be perfect for this. Jamie. And she was like, yeah, absolutely. We can make the time work and all of that stuff. I'll do it. And then I think she got, I think she like schedule wise. I think she was. Oh, yeah. And fans were like devastated and they're like, Katie Segal is going to play her. And everyone was like, well, nevermind. How should happens? Maybe next time. Well, let's get back to the US set up. And if we can really quickly, I told you all today was boring. So this is the first time I have ever seen Lotto and 21 Savage photographed together as the couple that they've been. They wrapped the US open and Niggas gave them a reason because what do they have all? You know, I said, you know, I'm not a fashion niggas. So maybe I just don't get it. You don't have to be. I think I'm sorry. You don't. You don't. But sometimes you know the, sometimes it's a look and I just can't tell because it doesn't look good to me. Don't say you know, maybe I've just never seen Gucci arranged in this way. I've never seen nothing that looks like this. I was so confused. But you know, I'm not even trying to be biased, but they look good. I'm not trying to be biased, but they look. I hate you. You know, people be hate. No, that was a couple. But a lot of niggas were like, this is your first time popping out together and this is what you chose to put on. Now, I don't despise Lotto's outfit. If she was wearing this with her sister, somebody, I'd have been like, okay, they want to go see some tennis. It's the little hat. The hat is a choice. That's a decision. The savage looks like he's literally going down to the grocery store to go to the greats or something. Bro, out the bed, bro. Are these sweat shorts? Why are you? How did you find two terribly striped tops like what, why, what, what was the thought process behind? I'm going to put on this red and white shirt and then I'm a really fuck the club with this, this cotton, blue and gray, why, why is it supposed to match the Atlanta hat? Why don't you, why don't you match her? Why wouldn't you wear, you know, and that's what I said, this probably is Gucci and I just don't know it. This probably is. And she wear. I don't know. Do Gucci make cotton? Uh, polos. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know, you're talking about, that's not Gucci, I don't know what it is he's wearing. Okay. I mean, but I don't believe any of it is taking part in the Gucci name. If anyone would like to correct me, feel free. I know that this is Burberry, that, that a lot of got on. Oh, Burberry, that's what I'm thinking of, not Gucci. Regardless, regardless. I don't know. I don't know. It's like, and so, damn, you know, again, I think the, the, the 21 of it, yeah, he's really fucking it up. If it was just her, I don't think I would have even noticed, I would have scrolled so fast and like, boy, I hate that hat, it kept going like, we both would have been like, okay, the hat was a decision. I had the shot, but this is cute, otherwise, you look great, pretty girl. You know, and I would have been like, god damn, bro, wrapped around you, and it's, and it's you, y'all don't even look like y'all going to the same place. This is exactly what I'm saying. Why is she dressed like the daddy had a baby shower and you dressed like the Instacard Nigger deliverance stuff for the baby shower, like legitimately that. Why? Why did you know where we were going today? Did you know it was like a big deal? A lot of us give in somebody to get the door, the ice is here. Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah, but y'all look happy. The ass I put out a hair perfume, of course she fucking did, I mean, it's like what the fuck is wrong with this lady? What the fuck is wrong? So mine came today, I'm like, wow, she's really on my nerves, temple, ooh, though, anywhere in here it is, if you'd like to see what it can. And it smells not, I'm hearing about it at the same time that you have a bottle in front of it. Yeah, I, it just got here today. So I'm like, hair perfume, my ass, Beyonce, I'm spraying this all over and I think you know that. But yeah, it's just temple, it's temple, ood and perfume, but I'm obsessed with it. The other thing is, fuck, listen, oh my god, because the thing is, I know, I know that she's going to drop and be like, here go the tickets, I'll see you bitches with blue and two weeks. I know what's going to happen, I know what's going to happen. She's sick. She's sick. She is sick. Mm-hmm. And I, she knows I love the ood. Oh, and it smells so good, god, it smells so good. I have the ood candle. I just keep sniffing myself. This is better than the candles. This is better. Her hair holds sent longer, works with your hair's chemistry for a long lasting, fragrant, spiffy. It is. It is. Maybe I'll save you here. I'll save you. I'll save you. But the bottle is very nice. This is, no, this is really heavy, no, this is like heavy glass, this is nice glass. Oh, great. And this is like a little crumbly, uh-uh, so, you know, just like $1, you know, you're stupid. I mean, I'm checking out, so it really doesn't make a difference. Please. That bitch. - I'm paying for-- - I just-- - I pay--
For every subscription the twins have Beyonce. When is it enough? Sir needs his Disney channel and her to say one-time purchase subscribe and save Subscribe and say 50 cents if you get it shipped every two months. Oh, yeah, here's extended gameplay of The Zelda ocarina of time Apple does that to right live streams. Yeah, mm-hmm. Got you. Got you. So I guess that that that's what this was was just snippets of stuff So a don't Oliver Mm-hmm visuals for old songs visuals for new songs of course lyrics that people are already calling This is in subliminal shot. Oh, right. He got him. I read the lyrics. I don't see where exactly the one that keeps getting reposts says Rap is all we had they fuck that up. They tell me that my circuit would get in small home But bitch me from a dot you can't compare to us fuck all that circle shit. I'm squaring it. So I Think because of the dot people think he's talking about Yeah, mm-hmm, but People from Toronto called Toronto T dot. Oh, and have like since the 90s So I assume that that's what he was talking about. That makes for some Because why would you poke a can't drink? For how many times and how many different ways can that mean be choas like we don't I would let it go I wouldn't be trying nothing so yeah But a lot of the comments that I saw Many of them were like oh, he's back ice man. You thought you could keep a real light skin down or whatever and then a lot of the other ones are just posting screenshots from his lawsuit Okay, all right And so specifically portion 216 where it says Drake is suffered significant general actual consequential and special damages It also says that he's experienced personal humiliation mental anguish and suffering emotional distress stress anxiety and lost earnings So the treats are also given like you squared nothing now right So you were just crying on paper. This is what I'm saying You've been actually do something or because I wouldn't Drake is the thing like I don't think he's gonna do anything explicit not to that man from here. I mean, I would really hope not But he also, you know, doesn't really act like he has the best Not that he has the most discerning of spirits, you know, like drink Drake make dumb decisions So, you know, but I see the The Goth baddie girl from his pop the balloon video or whatever I see she's in this Yeah, I'm like damn you really bustin bustin that down or what I doubt it No, I don't think so. It's probably fuck whatever. I see he said pretty for Gaza Yeah, I heard about that too. Interesting I miss this entirely I heard about this this morning Okay, well is it coming out like as a movie or I Don't know what this is going to be it feels like it's probably another album and drop But I've also heard rumors that it's going to be dropped when Granthe Fautos 6 comes out and that he's like Involved in Granthe Fautos 6 somehow Probably in the radio aspect of it. Yeah, because Granthe Fautos for I think the last few iterations where he's since ps2 ps1 I've had radio stations that play actual real-world music a lot of them have Like the DJ's and they're the radio hosts are actual. Oh, yeah radio. Right. I think the last one had big boy Was one of the peak more radio like you're usual here People and songs that you recognize I heard future drive a Scott my also be on it Oh In the game and to that. I want to say rock star. I dare you I dare you to release this game in November and have all these niggas Involved in the music and soundtrack and not a trick dad. You're trying to song. Please do it. Please do it. Please do it So I can commit actual crimes Because what was the point of scouting? What was the point in spending money on consultations? Why is the city of Miami trying to do actual installations with you? Okay, I'm this fun the game is out. We don't know anything about it yet. It's fine. They know better. They'll do it. It's fine I don't want to hear no codec black. He is not from Miami or vice city. I do not want to hear Rick Ross low-hanging fruit If you do not have a single, all right Okay, where is he even loving hip-hop new better? Oh, I think he's from pump and no beach Who codec blood? He from the knife before and he's probably he's like the main reason niggas from Broward claim it now And you bitches could stop lying. Don't care. Don't care. Lots of you blew in the face. I'm from Miami date County I lived there for 25 consecutive years. You bitches didn't start saying you just from Broward Which are full titties are so rap niggas right niggas came out and started saying because it came easier for you to say to the average person Where are you from and they know what you're talking about before y'all you say oh, I'm I live right by Miami Broward County is right outside of now you'll be like Anyway, they didn't got none to do with us He really is not from Miami. Well, no, I'm just not finding this out. I thought he was not like he's ashamed of it Right, you know exactly where he from. He claimed it and to be honest with you is not that many hoods It's not like hoods and Broward that are significantly different. Got you But if I hear codec black on this fucking GTA 6 shit and I don't hear a single rapper from Miami. That's not Rick Ross I'm suing. Okay. Yeah. I'm suing. I'm gonna demand a refund and I'm suing y'all What it's not even a physical release either because of capitalism Please play my face release a Drake album Releasing the album from a nigga who is who's from another country rock star do it do it You know, I don't even know why I'm letting baseless tiktok rumours. Okay. I was about to say why aren't you you are worked up brother? Rockstar could be like drags back this and tell them no I don't know anything about this game my mama could be one of the fucking host on this register. I don't know but I just have to say it again This is probably going to be the best selling video game of all time and not like top three. Yeah Well, let me not say that best Selling like console maybe PC game because best selling is probably like Candy Crusher. Oh, right. Okay. Yeah, can't go free. Is it not oh? Oh Yeah, the microtransaction but you make money. Yeah. Oh the the most popular game. It's probably monopoly Video game. Oh, it's probably Mario Or Tetris Mario, I think is in a top three best selling what's it called Uh, not brands They don't like Mario Pokemon Star Wars Disney like IPs Minecraft Okay, yeah, minecraft's probably best selling whatever jigsay things is gonna be one of the best most
popular best selling video games of all time. So I want you all to keep an eye on that. - We could be just as it's Tetris. Tetris, well first place is shared by Tetris and Minecraft. - That makes sense. - Number two is Grand Theft Auto 5. So my God damn, bro. Wow, okay. I had no idea it was that popular. - Jesus Christ. - Okay, well, what if the Miami rapper is Karisha? Will that be acceptable? - I'll take it. - Okay. - She sprung Miami. - Yeah. - When I look at the bitch, I could have just arrived on this planet. (laughing) Her moniker is young. I will 1,000 pretend. I will take spin that radio. - Okay. - I will fully accept. - Yeah. - And not the sped up fun version either. The slow shit. - I'll take all the versions. (laughing) - If you wouldn't try this God in it. - Right. Okay. Just add the S. - I can't wait to play that fucking video game. What else is happening? Ooh, I'm gonna wait. Do we, we're gonna save that for a bit. (laughing) That's because bitch. All right, tonight. Here's something sweet. You're 95, 90s fine, Eagles quarterback, Jalen Hartz. - Mm-hmm, mm-hmm. - Has decided to put money where his mouth is. And he's donated 600,000 of them things to help fix, maintain, and upgrade HBAC systems at Northeast High School in Troubled Elementary. Oh my God, not real life, Abid Elementary. (laughing) - Absolutely, the streets are saying, "I'm sorry, Abid, try to tell us." (laughing) - I love these school systems. - Fuck him, oh it's right. Try to tell y'all they did not give a fuck about these kids. - Northeast High School is one of 52 schools in Philly that does not have air conditioning. - Well, climate change is so real, 'cause, you know, up north you really just did not use to need it. And now, he literally said, "Growing up in the South, "I was very blown away about school being crumpled. "I first snowed, but for lack of AC." - Right, 'cause Texas would never. Texas, please, the air conditioning is on and it's booming through that bitch. Like, but Texas is very used to heat. Texas not used to snow and ice. Again, climate change is so real, it's beating our asses, but, yeah, this is-- - Never having to cancel classes 'cause it's so hot and there's no working AC. - 600. - And this man was like, well, the Philadelphia School Districts and she here, don't seem he doing anything, so I'm rich. - Yeah. - That's, uh. - Right. - And he goes more than half a million dollars. - And-- - So I think as they said, it's the biggest financial donation he's made to this day. - Yeah, I see he previously gave 200,000 for more than 300 AC units at 10 other schools. - So-- - Yep. - Finley, do y'all use your taxpayer money for your kids at all? Why is Jailer Hertz that you care of the schools? - Great news. Apparently, according to district officials, the number of schools there without air conditioning has dropped for 118 to 52. - So-- - Because of Jailer Hertz? (laughing) - I feel like Jailer Hertz personally put air conditioning in half of Finley's schools. Like, God damn, bro. - Maybe let me tell you something. - If there's no AC in the school, I'm not going and when I tell you, I will have a sigh slip from the parents. - Oh yeah. - She won't be there. - Right. No, I mean, growing up in Oklahoma, we simply, it was just not even a thing. I'm sure school would have been canceled if wasn't no AC 'cause we would have been baking in that bitch. It's just not-- - Yeah, we would have just died. - Right, we would have just died. - So, it wouldn't have been a school in no way, but this is, you know, a beautiful, beautiful man doing amazing-- - Teachers dance or wouldn't go. - Please, I don't know who's gonna teach these kids because-- - Teachers in Oklahoma be having master's degrees and 10 years of experience making $38,000. And you want them to go sit in a room with no AC and no fresh air with your musty ass, can't say it enough how musty your kids are. - Musty. - It's a hard no for me, baby. - Grime. - Oh, fucking, thank you, babes. - No. - No, thank you. I'm not doing that. - Well, shout out to you, Mr. 90s fine. - He is just so beautiful. That's another one I like to just look at. - Yeah, he's very, very, very good. - Um, did you watch "Marsk" Argette's, um, a documentary about her mom? - No, I didn't even know she came out with one. - Yeah, my mom Jane is on HBO, I think. - Okay. - HBO Max, come out last year. - I have a-- - Her mom Jane Mansfield. Okay, let's talk about this dumb ass bitch Jasmine Crockett. I have hated this slopp as old. - Let's just do the read right now. - Let's just do it right now. - Is this your read? - Is it, is, is yes. (laughing) - Okay, well then we'll start. - I figured it would be. - It's my read is hilarious. 'Cause this is like the number one thing I've been thinking about for days. (laughing) - I cannot stand this bitch. - Oh, yeah. - Anyways. - She's not, I mean, we can do it now if you want to. - No, we'll wait. - Okay. - We'll wait. - I honestly was like, it was, for me, my read was between that and the one I'm gonna do. And then the only reason I said I'm not doing both is because it would take too long. - Yeah. - So. - Okay. - That's fine. - And I fully get that. - What is Boosey doing on 60 minutes? - Telling the same dumb bitch sob story that we first, when did we first talk about that? On this show, the idea that like, why would you even be able to do this? Anyway, I guess Boosey said he is not going quietly until the goddamn night. And y'all are going to hear his fucking story. Why is Boosey on 60 minutes talking about getting scammed by these mega niggas talking about he was gonna get a pardon? That's illegal. You know, it's illegal to pay for a pardon. Like, that's, you're not. Okay. - All right. - Okay. - Someone sent me a link to it and I was like, how long is the meteor gonna take? - This is stupid. - This is a really horrible timeline that we're in right now. I cannot lie. But, you know, good things still exist. That I saw this clip of Boosey on 60 minutes. I said it's a zero percent chance. I'm gonna watch that program. But this is objectively hilarious. Like, you really went and sat in them white people face. Got in a studio with them. Yellow S, I was talking about 600,000. I was, I and I walked away with the impression that that's what I needed to do. Right. The impression. So they would not outright break the law by telling you that they could secure a pardon for you. Because again, this is not something you're supposed to be able to just pay for. Boosey. - And so here you come, sitting down with prominent journalists. - Okay. - To talk about. - To talk about what? - Like, this should just be on a like Hollywood unlock. - Please, not that tired of his. I'm tired of her too. Please, no. But yeah, you should have, you actually should have just kept this to yourself. You should have told your therapist about it. But he wants his money back. And that's understandable. That's a whole lot of fucking money. To also still not have a pardon. But you could have avoided all of this by not breaking the laws many times as you did. - Yeah. - This was a good point of point. But Boosey did not go. (laughs) Boosey, these weren't crimes of survival. Okay, these were just niggity. So. - Yeah, I won't be looking at either. Last but not least, Bro Relib wants her mama back. She posted photos of her with her mother and said, "Hope it's not Victoria, bro Relib." Excuse me. "Hope it's not too late to say sorry mama. "I need you not talking to you "or being able to reach you is driving me crazy. "I hope God is hearing my prayers. "I can't even call to ask for forgiveness." So I'll do it publicly like I did everything else. I want you to know that there is not a period. - Of course not. - I'm a Sammy Coleman. There is, this is one sentence. - Okay, well. And of course this was on Facebook. - Yeah, it was, bro. - With the smoky Norfolk. Ah, girl. I mean. - I think she was like, "This is one place you're gonna see it." - I mean, what does she say exactly?
about a mama that was so crazy. - Well, it was more about her sister, but she was trying to say her, like her mom and daddy and have like lights on. - Oh, right. - And all of these accusations of how her mama wasn't living well there. - Oh yeah. - You know, it was raggedy. - And Glorilla wasn't helping her. - Gotcha. - And then Glorilla called her mom and daddy and was like, can you please clear this up? What was it? Her mom and daddy, I'm good, eager, we good. I don't know what they're, and I remember her author literally said, "Gorilla, me, I asked what?" She thought she didn't like, so. - I do remember that. I just didn't remember the mama really saying much, but I guess that's 'cause she-- - She was so much perceived. - She was like, yeah, I'm not talking to no body. I'm not talking to that weirdo who went online, talking about what I got and what I don't. Like, yeah, it ain't nothing to say. I didn't know they weren't speaking though, so. - I mean, okay. - No one wins when the family fudes. I think that this is one that you, um. - We can go in and we can close the door on Glorilla as far as I'm concerned, as far as her being like a thing, like her 15 minutes are up. - Yeah, I think so too. - Mm-hmm, I saw over. We had a nice time though. Glorilla was a great nickname, shout out to the internet. - It's one of the most. - It was an awesome one to everybody, truly. - And you come up with some excellent grade A nickname, so. - That was-- - For you to tip your head. - I've talked to me out of art. Like I was being prepared and I'm still not ready. - Yeah. - And now she goes by it. - 'Cause when you might as well embrace it. - I cannot wait for this Vogue to come, the male. - Vogue. - Michael B. Jordan's on the cover of Buzz. Please tell me this is the US one. - I did not know this. - It's Milan. - Wow. Oh, Tom Brown, it would be. - Oh, it's October 2026 issue. If this pops up in my mailbox, it's going right with the one that has. - Whoa! - And one with Merrill Street and Ann Wintour. - Oh, that is a cover. - I have one. Is it a day? I think I have it on one. - Cheese. - Yeah, I have Zendaya's a Vogue cover. I wish she has on that big red dress. It looks like a rose. - I keep the ones with the icons on them. - Got you. Yeah. - He looks amazing. Wow, wow, wow. - Smoke my stack. - God, he is fine. - It is, it isn't fair. - All right, yeah, so we were doing-- - And I was gonna say we were doing-- - We're staring at Michael P. Jordan instead of recording. Ah, he got a beautiful mouth. - We're done with Hot Top. Let's take a break and then read your nonsense. We are back folks at home before we get into our listener letters this week. I forgot one Hot Top. It won't take long and it is hilarious. Did you know this Todd movie that it apparently gonna be in two theaters and Bankhead or whatever? - Oh yeah. - In the movie, he's meeting up with all the ex-husbands from the show and pitching the idea of them starting a sports bar together. To get tickets, go to don't bring your man to Atlanta.com. Crystal, what is earth? - No. (laughs) Don't bring your man to Atlanta.com. It's great. I'm actually mad, I didn't buy that by damn so. - I mean, I can't get any tickets. (laughs) - I just picked that one at one big bitch. - That is a great URL, but wow. - Okay. - In theaters, Jesus. - And we said, girl, girl, why would a bunch of, who wants to go to the ex-husband sports bar? Didn't Peter Thomas already try this? - Yeah, a few times and he's on the call. - Is he like, you already have a flop sports bar? I'm not gonna. - No, he's talking about, I'm witty. All of us is how mad they win it. Mew and all. (laughs) I doubt it's a thing that's actually gonna happen. - Okay, nobody's saying bad idea. - That's very funny. - Right. - Restaurants are hard, bro, but okay. - Now it's time for listening. - Indeed, send your questions to asktheredagemail.com. We may read them aloud on the show. Our first letter this week comes from Linda who says, hey, y'all, I need to write in because I fear I'm either becoming a Haydnass friend or I'm starting to really dislike this version of my friend. My friend is a recent divorcee and she's separating from her husband who she shares a child with. She currently works as a call center agent, but while she was in that marriage, she didn't work at all. Here's where my Haydnass comes in. She uses her ex's card to buy herself Chanel, trips out of the country and $700 bundles. He pays her rent and she's even going to quit her job to move out of the country for a couple of months till she figure out what she wants to do career-wise. This is all happening, though, while she claims that she's independent. My issue is I would love to have a man or an ex who pays for all of my necessities, but I don't. I work two jobs to keep my nice belongings the roof over my head and my occasional shopping splurges. I don't have anyone to fall back on if I fail and it grinds my gears to hear her go on and on about how she's so independent, but everything she wants she gets through her ex. I can't tell if I'm Haydn jealous or if I'm just annoyed, but somebody who is not being honest with themselves is this worth bringing to her attention? Or should I just work on these issues without telling her how I feel? Thanks so much, Linda. - Thanks, Linda. This is a really fun question. I'm gonna, this is a fierce question. And I think it's fun. Quite a few people experience in friendships and different relationships. Do I think that you're hating or jealous or just annoyed? I think you can be all three of those things and I don't know how terrible those things are. Would I bring them up to her? I don't think so. But I don't know, the only thing I could think of while you're speaking to us, Linda, is the words were really, really powerful and beloved prophet and she said, "Why spend mine when I can spend yours?" - Yeah. - So, like, if I was in your friend's position, best belief, I'm running my mouth about how I, I mean, the pen, while also buying bundles. That's like a card. - All right. - Yes, wouldn't you, the life. - Right, I think, I think you're mostly jealous, Linda, and I get it 'cause I am too. Are you fucking kidding? If all of my money that I make from working could just be for play and I didn't have to pay for, okay. Yeah, I'm jealous of the fuck. Where do y'all find Niggas who are letting you take their card and buy Chanel bags and flights and $700 bundles, even after y'all break up? Where y'all find Niggas who do all that? Y'all going through a divorce and he doing all this? Still paying her rent? - I think Chris was just kind of really hit the head on the nail on the head here in terms of your, your immediate question 'cause we're all jealous. - I don't know, but I think we're. - I couldn't even get to the point 'cause I'm, I'm not being sidetracked by how jealous I am of this girl, perfect. - I'm like, what have I been doing around to this point, Rod? - For pussy management as far as I'm concerned because why don't I have these things? So, but, jealous though I may be, I'm also correct that you're not independent, bitch. - If you could, fair. - So I'm right, so I wouldn't, this is your friend, so. You know, I would approach this in a kind way. I wouldn't bring it up. You know, every time you talk about this, I just see the internally because I want somebody to pay for my life as well. But I probably would. The next time she'd brag about being independent, I'm like, you know, independent mean doing it by yourself, right? Like, gosh, I think I would have to. I would have to say something like that. - Please tell us for the last minute. - Right, because it, I'm sorry, words mean things. Independent means something, and it's not your man finances your fucking life. So, yes, I am jealous. Yes, you could call me a hater 'cause I probably am. 'Cause it should be me, 'cause it should be me. And I'm mad it isn't me. I'm mad that it's you. And because it's you, it is not me. I just had, I just had a hard time. The next time we all are together, like in the car or something, you should put all the independent ones in the car for one. - Yeah. - It starts, you should. - Now that's petty and bad to the aggressive. (laughing) - You know what? - Sometimes you start there. (laughing) Sometimes you start with petty and bad to the aggressive. - Yeah. - To then. - Yeah, no. [BLANK_AUDIO]
I agree. I wouldn't bring up how I feel about it because also like, like you're saying, who would it, like I would, I feel like it would, she should understand jealousy. Right. But she should. Like, talk around it for a while. I think, yeah, at the point where you start bragging about the independent, I might make sort of response. That's like, are you, are you independent, like doing everything by yourself? Maybe independent means something that I don't, this is a definition I never heard of because it's just KB. That's not what that means. So yeah, good luck Linda. You know, you could, you could venture just about anybody about this. We're all jealous of her. So maybe that's the way for you to get it out without, you know, cutting on a saw. I love the park where they say the shoes on my feet. I bought it. I bought it. The clothes I'm wearing? I bought them. She gonna be like, yes, I bought them with his car. I put in his card information. I typed out my shipping address. Okay, girl. She went, hold on. Hold on. I'm not finished. The mirror's the lyric. The car I'm driving, I bought it. I depend on me. I depend on me. So nice. I said it twice. I, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So I mean, and I forgot just that fast that she does have a baby with this man. So that is probably why he's still it probably helps with his willingness to be so open financially. But I'm not just put the baby in the burger. I mean, this is what I'm saying. The baby goes in the Chanel. The baby's got first class to them. Right. And so now I'm jealous of your fucking baby as well. Is that what we want to do? Please, God, send me all the women who independent. No, put your hands down. No, I use, not you, not you. No, no, no. Run sign. Run sign. No, no, no, no, no. Oh, good luck. Linda. Let us know how the conversation goes. Our next letter comes from Violet who says hi, Chris. My brother, Jack is white and married to a man named Charles who is black. They have a four year old daughter and live a short flight away. My husband and I are also white and we are atheists raising our kids in a diverse and liberal city. My parents are Christians who vote blue and say they support Jack's marriage, but they've never been visibly affirming, you know, no pride flags or anything like that. I know if they had a choice, they would have picked straight for their son, which I mean, you don't want to ask too many parents, okay, it's going to get real uncomfortable. We don't discuss religion with my parents anymore, but I know that their genuine belief is that Jack, Jack, Charles, my husband and I are all headed for eternal damnation. Charles has never joined a family holiday or events in all the years that he and Jack have been together. Since their daughter was born, they haven't been able to visit at all, so I've taken my kids to them as much as possible. This year, Jack raised the idea of coming to us for Christmas, which we hosted my house with my parents there for the day. From Charles's side, I really cannot imagine this because he would be walking to a house where he's the only black person and spend in the holiday with his in-laws, who he knows, believe that his marriage puts him in eternal danger. He's already cut off aunts and uncles over similar rejection and now he's being asked to sit with a quieter version of the same thing on this white man's side. Jack's not sure it's fair to ask his husband to keep absorbing that dynamic just to keep the peace, and he's not sure that he wants to come. My brother won't come without him, and understandably, they both want to spend Christmas together and with their daughter. I love Charles and I want him in our family and practice not just on paper, but I don't know how to make my parents into people that they're not, and I don't know how to bridge what feels like an impossible gap between come with us and everything he'd be walking into to do that. I would love your take on where to go from here. For my brother and I, we have essentially decided the relationship with my parents is worth absorbing that dynamic. They are truly wonderful grandparents and actively involved in their grandchildren's lives. The kids would be devastated to spend Christmas without their grandparents. My brother wants to come as he hasn't spent Christmas with our family in five years, and wants Charles to come to, to all be together for the holiday. Yes, we'd love to hear your take on where to go from here. Thanks so much. Haven't missed an episode since 2016 when I fell into eliminate rabbit hole and found your recap. Thanks. That's 2013, you suck. Oh, thanks, Violin. Oh, man. Okay. Well, I mean, I always feel for these people who are like, you know, a sibling of mine or cousin or other family members dealing with stubborn parents and grandparents and how do I fix it? Girl, well, I wish I had a paint by number sort of like I didn't, you know, you can't turn these people into whatever version of them would make everybody the most comfortable. I guess you just have to sort of step up to the challenge and see if there's a way to work through it or overcome it or what have you. I suppose it helps that they are good grandparents among their grandbabies. Most grandparents will jump over or put aside all of their nastiness or biggie or whatever, because the grandbabies come in and you know, you get over real fast. But as the people who parent the babies, care for the babies, uh, keep the babies. Yeah. We don't deal with how I feel. Tough. Um, but I mean, I don't know. What do you think? Because I don't know what well, what was the name? Her name is Violet. The brother is Jack and Charles is the black man. Yeah. I don't know what Violet could do. The only thing I cannot mind is like sort of sitting together and coming up with a unanimous decision on what the game plan is going to be. Yeah. My thing is I don't want to spend Christmas with white people. I'm no shade. I would not want to go to your white Christmas when I know what my black Christmas looks like. I'm thinking of the food first first and foremost. What? Yeah. My, my Amy makes cinnamon rolls every Christmas in the morning. She gets up like before the sun. And she uses my grandma's recipe that is still written into. So you wake up Christmas morning and you smell cinnamon. And there are cinnamon for fresh cinnamon rolls that might. My sister-in-law brings to Molly's. I'd be like, you're real for this. You're real for this girl. You're multi-ethnic. That's it. We only get, we got we all black and one Mexican. That is it. But, um, love to Molly. Yeah. That's the thing. I don't want to go to your Christmas. But that is, you know, me, me, man. That is, I mean, but that is what happens when you marry a white person. You know, that's a white family. Usually white people come out of white families. So, I, this is more of your brother's problem. I think than yours. You're, you're willing to overlook your parents homophobia because it doesn't really affect you. But you're also overlooking their belief that like, you're going to hell because you're an atheist. Like, they believe that of you and your husband and you are just pushing right on past that, you know, for the sake of your kids because they're good grandparents. And I think a lot of people would do that same thing. But you just ask, you ask in trials to go up against a homophobic attitude, a, anybody who's not saved is going to hell. You, you for sure going to hell with your gay ass. Like, and be the only black person. I'm sorry. I would be, I, I get it. I would love for my whole family. I'm very lucky that my family does spend Christmas together. We are the family that everybody else is like, you know, they're all married and they got to have conversations about who's how she go into on Christmas. And, and I'm just, I'm, I'm thankful that my family is like the default house. But I can't blame this man for not wanting to be around that at the fucking holidays. I just cannot cannot blame him. Right. So you can come and, you know, our door is wide open. But if you don't want to be with these fucking weirdo white people, I believe that your eternal soul is damned. I can't say I blame you. So, you know what? You can maybe do. I don't know if you can or if this makes sense. But what we've done or what we do pretty much every Christmas is the same family obviously, but we open presents at my heart, my parents homes. And then we go have dinner at my grandma's house. Yeah, right. Right. So maybe it's something where you like,
Stop by open presence with the kids, the children and the grandparents, whatever. That was growing up around and there you go, somewhere else, IDK. Well, they don't live in the same city. That's the thing. So they would have to fly to them for Christmas. Christmas presents. [laughter] Applebee! [laughter] Have we considered changing the parents? Have we considered asking the parents to not act like this? Yeah. I guess that's impossible. That's going to be the house flying out. No, that's part of us. Yeah. That's way worse. Because then how do you say, "Okay, enough. Goodbye." Right. Right. So I really feel for your brother because that's a shitty position to be in, but I also would not be spending Christmas without my spouse and child. Like, I'm not doing that either. Whoa! I just would not. I'm sorry, girl. I know you want your whole family together, but your parents are fucking up the vibe. So they are stuff. Yeah. And they might just have to eat that. Yeah. Because I'm also changing about lunch. [laughter] I'm also thinking about the amount of grandparents and family that just don't get to see their Christmas, their family. Christmas like that because the family can't travel or won't travel or a million other things that keep them separated and, you know, that can suck. Yeah. They can also be life. So this is what I'm saying. You know, sometimes you just pack it up and, well, those people are awful or they suck or I'm uncomfortable and I don't deserve to be uncomfortable with my family on Christmas. So it's Christmas. You know, I'm like, yeah, it's fucking. And then maybe you, Violet, what was I supposed to say, Valerie? Beautiful name by the way. Love Valerie. Valerie's slept on. And maybe what you can do is that when, you know, pop up and, and pop up and, and Grammy, when they're like, hey. Mmm. Well, I dreamt of chicken like, well, I didn't want to be the one to tell you this. Because it's because it's about homophobic. Yeah. Oh fuck. And don't nobody like you and you suck up the game of life. Nobody is eating that ambrosial. [laughter] Nobody over the age of 12 thinks you guys are cool at all. Yes. [laughter] So. Yeah, I would have to, you know, Jack and Charles don't come around for Christmas because they don't want to be around y'all's weird-ass vibe. Yeah. They probably like, now look, a gay son is one thing, but you brought home a. I know they can't believe it. I know they cannot believe it. You brought home. You know they whisper that part. You know they do. A black. Charles is black. Mama, it's just you and me here. Nobody else comes out. Yeah. All right, Violet. Yeah. Good luck, but I don't blame that black man. No, I don't. Let us know how Christmas goes. Please, though, girl. Or, you know, why don't you have this conversation with your parents now? Maybe they can start making an effort to be different, you know? That's just saying. That's a good idea. Maybe it'll be easier because it's not coming from one of Ben, and you recognize it as well. Right. And this is in advance of the holiday. So it's like, I'm letting y'all know that if we want the whole family together, we don't have to start acting whole family year. Like, we gotta. People gotta feel not just tolerated, but accepted. Like, they are wanted here. Like, this holiday would not be the same without you, you know? And y'all don't do that. You remember the episode of The Golden Girls, where Michael came home with the older. And the two families were not. Yeah. are both mothers were not seeing it. Yeah, her opposite reason. Well, Dorothy didn't see because she was old. Right. But her mom didn't see it. The black woman's mom, whose name I can't remember right now. She didn't see it because Michael's white. Right. And they both were very open about it. And when the two of them eloped and they found out that she was pregnant, Dorothy and old girls mama, they stood up to the side and they're both like, "Do you agree with this or are you okay with this?" And they both said, "No." And she said, "Do you want to see the grandbaby?" And they both said, "Yes." She was like, "What do we do? Do what every mother in history has done?" Greed and bear it. I don't remember the last line. Let me pull it out. I didn't remember the. I haven't watched The Golden Girls in years. I remember this. I always take a little break off so that the jokes can hit again. I'm just reciting. I'm lying by line. Oh my God. I've been watching this old ass sitcom with Be Arthur in it called Mod. Mod? Yes. Why is it so funny? It aired in the 70s, so a lot of things are terrible. That's where good times came from. Yes, so I knew that. And Florida is their maid, a slush housekeeper, but she is, you know, that show is so funny. I'm like, Be Arthur was really that girl for years and years and years. Wow. When they first hired Florida and she came in and she said, "Azor, Mod has a bunch of names." She said, "If Mrs. Evan is so talking, that's great." You know, we're a relaxed family around here. You know, what should we call you? Mrs. Evans. She was just doing the most, like, over-comsating because of white guilt. Right. Her daughter was like, "A black woman comes to the room." You say, "I'm sorry." Mod was fucking hilarious. Mod is funny, yes. I'm halfway through season two now. And it's just, it's crazy because of how much has changed, and how much hasn't. Like, they drag and nicks and all the time. But they're talking about, you know, in the first season, Mod gets pregnant and she's talking about having an abortion. And they're like, "Well, it's legal in New York." And then they start talking about Roe v. Wade. And it's like, damn, we actually, we, if Be Arthur was alive right now, she would be like, "How far back did you niggas go?" Like, "Y'all, y'all rolled back all the rights for women." I'm like a crazy girl. There's this one episode where they're having like a house party. And I can't remember why Mod is stretched out. But she pours like a full glass of liquor. And then she gets the self to water. And she just breaks the self to water. Oh, yes. She's excited to come. And she just breaks the whole couple liquor. They are alcoholic. And they talk, and that's the storyline too. Her husband being an alcoholic. Yes. It's a great show. Oh, the girl slept on Ms. Mod. She is hilarious. But back to the point. Right. Back to the point, which was, they both agree to the end of it. Oh, yes. Right. They will put the bullshit to the side and the judgment to however they feel about one of the kids. Because they're having a baby. And we want these to be in this baby's life. So let's just suck it up and shut the fuck up. Yeah. And that's the point you have to get to when it, when it gets there. It's like, I get it. Because I would not want my daughter with no 20 something. Your old bum ass white boy either. Did Michael even have a fucking job, child? Yeah. No. And he was 22 years old. What I'm saying, it was never. Girl, you was not supposed to have that white boy's baby. Much less married. This is insane. But you know, you can have any old storyline in the '90s. Nobody cared if you ever followed it up. Or if it made sense, it didn't really matter. I should never show it up again. They broke her out when he came back to the house at some point, still unemployed. And his mama asked him, well, what happened to the fuck was her name? Well, whatever. He was like, well, what happened to her? She left his ass. Took the baby and left. Yeah. Because he wouldn't get a job and work. Yeah, that's right. Well, girl, he never did that though. Oh, so good anyway. Lorraine. Lorraine, not Lorraine. Yeah. Um, so yeah, Violet shit. Shit happens since they they got to either do better or be left out. And it's just sad that you you kind of are getting caught up in that. But it is what it is best of luck to you, um, listen, the letters. Listen, the letters right there. I want to yell about Jasmine Crockett for a long time. I know. So yeah, very good. So long. Again, if you have a question for us, send us an email.
[email protected]. We'll be right back. Folks, we're back. It's time for the read. But first, I had to find the quote. Look, quote, I had to find the quote. I'm a failing Golden Girls fan. You bitches know how serious I am about this show. It was making me laugh as much as I had to. It's not good. Anyway, at the end, is it they're going to get married whether we like it or not? Do you agree? No. They're going to have a baby whether we like it or not. Do you want to see it? Yes. Yes. This is what do you what do we do? And Dorothy says what mothers have been doing for every generation. Pretend we're happy and complain to anyone who will live. Exactly that. Exactly that. And they have hugged them. They can stop and let them get married. It would have actually been interesting to see Dorothy with a mixed granddaughter and Sophia with a biracial, great grandchild. That would have really been something, but, you know,
- Yeah, you're right. - They were already pushing the envelope. (laughing) - Facts. Mod and Golden Girls were ahead of time. - That's what I'm saying. Mod was, I'm watching it and I'm Googling every episode. There's a reference to something I don't know because these people were born in the 1920s. - Right. - But it is just like, wow man, some of the shit we fighting for now, like the fight is legit going on for decades. - But she heard a depiction of a liberal white woman who is trying too hard to the point of getting on everybody's nerves including the black person that she's trying to impress. - Yeah. - It's just, I'm really enjoying this show. It's on 2B2, you know, which feels, I don't know. 2B feels, I feel a conflict in my spirit about 2B. You just don't seem right, but it's free. It's free and you don't have to have a log in. That's what I, that's what I like about 2B. You can just Google the show and press play. You do not have to sign up and all that bullshit. They not putting you through that. So. - You do have to watch five minutes ads right after the opening credit. - You will get, yes, there are, there are three ad breaks in every episode of Mod, but you know, this is why physical media really does matter. - I should get it on 2B. - 40 bucks. - Oh, you know what, let me just do that 'cause I am really enjoying it and it's successful. - It's good. - I'm really enjoying it. - Can you explain to a lot? Anyways, yeah, fantastic. Let's do three. - Okay, yes. So. - I think you got started. - Should I? All right. - Yeah. - Well. - So the button. (laughing) - Not immediately. - So the bumps and bruises tour hit Dallas on Saturday night, came through to infect Dallas on Saturday night. Representative Jasmine Crockett made an appearance with state representative Vint and Jones. During the show, she came out and I, I don't know what you were thinking with the fit, but the fit is not even the point. - She come out on the mic screaming with this man. I mean, when I tell you, she acts like she's the DJ. Like she. - Yeah. - So. - She says, she knows it's almost Sunday. Weeping, man. During the night, but Joy come in the morning. What do that have to do with anything? We don't know. We don't know what to do. We don't know what to do with anything. He recognized Chris Brown for his lasting impact on music, presenting him with an official state of Texas legislative recognition alongside an official congressional record entered by Congresswoman Crockett. Shout out to Rockstar for all the hard work coordinating this effort. This is how to mobilize voters. Now. Oh, the energy drink. Never mind. I'm sorry. Now, what is so important about this statement is that not one word was uttered about voting. Not one syllable while they were on that stage had even the smallest thing to do with voting. Nobody said anything about make sure y'all are registered. Make sure this, this, this, we got to get more blah, blah. There was nothing about Chris Brown and Usher didn't get on the mic and say, hey, y'all, we doing a voter registration driver. Anything like that. It had nothing. It had fuck all to do with voting. This is just two old ass niggas who are fans of Chris Brown and one, and excuse to be at the shop. That is it. Two bird bitches. So bird bitches telling each other exactly. So of course, the internet is like of all fucking people. Y'all wanted to make sure that there is enough a note in the official congressional record about Chris goddamn brown of all people. His music is not even that good. Chris Brown may sing R&B. Chris Brown is not an R&B pioneer. He is not a a taste maker. He is not a game changer. Chris Brown is not moving the needle as far as music is concerned at all. He's from violence is more famous than any one of his individual songs. And so this was all pointed out repeatedly across different social media platforms. State Representative Vintancy Jones immediately released a statement talking about how he has listened closely to these conversations and feedback from the community and I want to acknowledge the black women who have been hurt by my actions. And I apologize. Y'all are the backbone of our community and as a survivor of sexual violence and domestic abuse. My work has prioritized these, which just brings as a survivor yourself, bro, you didn't think that maybe going on stage with a nigger known to beat ass was a bad idea like, like what? We saw this as a critical moment to talk about, you know, the upcoming midterms and how important it is for people to vote. And yet y'all didn't say shit about getting out and voting. So it was a bunch of, you know, I'm really sorry y'all now that I think about it. This was a bad idea. This brown saw this apology and said, keep that award. He commented on Instagram and said, keep that award. And then he posted to his stories and said, funny thing is y'all came to me with this, not the other way around. I was minding my damn business. My shows and Dallas were already sold out. I ain't asked to be honored because I knew some shit like this would happen. And Vintancy Jones immediately started tap dancing and apologizing because he didn't want to lose voters and support. I have a great idea. How about y'all leave me the fuck alone and let me focus on the fans that spent their money to actually see and support me. And to that I say, even a broke clock is right twice a day. Baby thing. Y'all should indeed leave Chris Brown the fuck alone. Nobody should be talking to him or about him. Nobody should be platforming him. We for damn sure should not be interrupting his concerts to give him congressional recognition and talk about, you know, politicians, this is absolutely not what a politician should be doing. Y'all have real problems. Ask the people in the city of Dallas or the state of Texas what their real issues are and let's focus on that. Making a stop at the Chris Brown show allegedly to get the word out about the election and encourage voter turnout without saying anything about voters. This is just, this was very stupid and very fucking pointless. Y'all could have just not done it at all. Go on ticket master and buy a fucking ticket the next time you want to go to a niggas show. Of all the people y'all could have platformed and given this kind of recognition to I just can't understand why so that that part, the Chris Brown, you know, going back and forth with this man and, you know, you just, you should have left me the fuck alone. It's honestly quite crazy that Chris Brown came to that conclusion before anybody else did it but like, that's one thing. Jasmine, I've been looking at you crazy. It's been a while. It's been a while. It's actually been since bleach, blonde, bad, built, butch body that Marjorie Taylor green read that you had and everybody was going up for it. I was like, I get it, you know, we do all hate Marjorie but like, you know, leave my girlfriends out of it. Butch body for what? Like, just calm down with all that. I've been looking at you, you know, out the corner of my eye since then because that felt ridiculous and then you started selling merch and I was like, okay, she corny. So like, let me just, you know, rooting for everybody black, blah, blah, blah, but let me disengage because at this point, you're corny and you move in like a weirdo girl. Jasmine Crockett is also incredibly openly pro Israel. She also will go and take visits, go chime it up with the eye. He wasn't even getting it. He just also wasn't even getting it.
It's insane against black and come in to support pro israel candidates I have not seen it but it's lame as tired as bitch and I don't even know how long so this really just added further Like everything to the exhibition right more, you know Yeah, and like when I saw it was her I was not really like I wasn't surprised because she has been a bird or given bird Yes, she yes, now that is true. She does indeed give birds. Oh, I would not say shocked It's just kind of like it felt like Jasmine said oh, well if I'm if y'all are not gonna vote for me Then I'm just going to complete opposite direction and do whatever weird bitch shit I've been wanting to do while I still have the opportunity to do it like I just don't What made you as elected officials think that this was the right move and why not anybody else? I mean Because As we have been saying for years, it's not even about Rihanna no more Rihanna was Was a hundred and forty eight arrests ago We not even talking about Rihanna no more this nigger is being sued by a former housekeeper right now Because of his dogs that mauled and attacked this woman. He Stays in trouble. It's all well Chris Brown a rain today Chris Brown arrested today Chris Brown Ordered to return to London so that we can decide this then He had court to determine whether he was even gonna be able to we didn't know if he was gonna be able to finish off the tour because he might have to go straight to jail like Chris Brown actively acts like this and if he had done all this growth that the Stands the breezy team breezy swear that this man has grown up and changed and evolved and all this first of all He would not still be getting caught up on the same dumb shit and secondly. He wouldn't be acting so Child like this response to all the backlash and all this is so very fucking childish even though he had a point It's also like I didn't even want to be honored. Okay, but you let these niggers on the stage. You could have also said leave me out of it like So just I He acts he acts like a toddler every time someone mentions what you're meant. You're talking about right now Even in this situation They wouldn't even talk to you. Okay, girl. I mean and and you have thank her and it on stage No on Instagram. Oh, no, I did not see that She takes her on Instagram and apologized for the backlash that she's been facing Why she's grown she knows exactly what she's doing She knew about your not even allegations. She knew about your history your well-documented history of history and present of abusive behavior and she went and carried her Stupid ass on that stage anyway, so no Because she's a fucking bird and the idea that we can't call her a bird because she's a congressman man or a politician or what in what? Indeed indeed bird behavior is bird behavior. I don't care what you got you can have every degree You can have a PhD. There's you're not immune from being a fucking dumb bitch Do you know what a bird is this was dumb bitch behavior? He posted a first and somebody posted a Picture of them hugging up on stage and put all his stories. Thank you so much I apologize for any backlash you have to deal with for awarding me. I'm not political But I move off of frequency and energy and I'm so grateful once again. Thank you Jasmine was gonna go to this show regardless because she's a fan of Bruises right. She was gonna go and she was like how can I get up on the stage and yeah, the doll. Yeah and represent team bruises All y'all done Is the wig on too tight? Because it's taken up too much space on your forehead that is for sure going on But is it too tight are the braids are the braids bothering you sister? Is it the glue? What's going on? Congressional record This is how you choose to use your position in the House of Representatives. This is how This is what you choose to do with your access and your privilege girl Okay, if you wanted to honor a Texan No, Beyoncé's right there. Beyoncé is no mention of voting Beyoncé is right there Megan the stallion right there too right there like You could it if you niggas had actually made it about voting I wouldn't even be this disgusted if it had been you know Came out in the news all at the bumps and bruises tour The two representatives Jasmine Crockett and Vernon Taylor or whatever Vinton Jones are you know they setting up and they got a table here with voter registration Information and here's how you get involved like if y'all had done that I still would have been like at the Chris Brown show of all things But I would have gotten it because we do want Younger people to be to be mobilized and get out and voted so like that would have made more sense But this was just an opportunity for you to be seen because it's not really about the work Jasmine Crockett I just don't believe that about you and I don't know that it ever has been especially once you started going viral and Black women started repost to you and using you as a meme and all this and maybe Maybe the social media fame of it all has gotten to your head. I really don't know but This is a disgusting way to use the the privilege and the power that you have as an elected official and I also I have to push back on this idea that we can't call this or I don't know absolutely Did you see her in her rainbow finest when I tell you this bitch had on This but dazzle that's tank top with this black take brown leg You know what it really was. It's them goddamn ankle booties. It's them silver star as With them black, oh Yeah, but I tied up like Carl girl for what I'm surprised you didn't have on like airbrushed breezy jeans She and you know what I don't she looks a fucking mess, but That that is less important to the overall point of like wow bitch get a fucking life you cannot be I just you know I already wasn't checking for all already Did not really care for her, but this Like I bitch. I want to spin in your direction It's on like for me. It's less about this nigga getting this piece of paper You don't give a fuck about and it's way more than that that you any elected official I wake it over everyone's time. I cannot show many things like The like there's a never ending list of prior it right I'm to see to do with this Especially in text giving Chris Brown a Manila envelope with his name, and it never gonna be near the list so stupid With midterm weeks away you went out there With your clairs jewelry on and decided Let's celebrate the black joy, and it's high and it's highest but Do you even what are you saying? Do you know these words? Many I didn't need any further And now you go back track it and tap dance because you don't want to lose voters in support. Well, yeah He shouldn't want to lose voters or support because he is a politician But it's not tap dancing for black women to correctly point out that platforming an abuser Awarding an abuser a well-documented many many many many many times Chris Brown has done terrible things That is the problem girl I just care so us pointing out that Chris Brown has done these things that that's and you apologize to us. That's tap dancing Mm-hmm, okay, okay, because we have we should get over it Right right we why because why do we even care that? So that's somebody like Chris Brown is being awarded and and treated like he's a good person Why do y'all even care about that like oh? Neil and other niggas underneath God soon. I mean and and another thing team breezy stop bringing up Trump You can stop bringing up Trump. We're bringing him up. Yeah, I don't know why y'all act
And like it's a bad thing for Chris to be getting this award when it's a whole lion ass rapist in the white house Too bad things can happen at the same time. This one does not right one doesn't cancel out the other Trump don't have shit Like you see how stupid that is where are y'all bringing up Donald Trump? Don't nobody give a fuck about Donald Trump in the context of this conversation. We are talking about Chris Brown You know when you're four It's just About these being your toy Well, this is your house, but also I have toys and then it's like they're saying stuff that don't make you're four Don't want to be wrong Yeah, we hate that bitch too. We think yeah, all the time. So what does I have to do with with lunch? I don't think I don't think there's been a single week where we have not said fuck Donald Trump in some way some form I I say it happens all the time baby, but it's more than one person I can be mad at I can I can do both actually so It's a record Way more pissed adjustment Yeah flop it Well, cuz she was the one on the mic. She was doing all the other Vinton Jones he look like he was just happy to be there. She was on the mic acting like somebody had paid her to come promote the show like Holler and Screamin Chris Brown, we have a Corress like just she She probably has to take one of the pictures he used to do in his meet and grease where he hold them on his He holds fans on his back. Jasmine next time pay the thousand dollars for the meet and greet just all you pay She did not want to pay for the meet and greet. That's all this is That was all her energy was given I could not believe like you're 45 years old acting like this And now imagine Imagine getting Decimated Shit and then having your face turned around to be like why I want that funky is done in the first place And then nobody need you here you bitches wanted to come so right fierce So you ruined you you severely damaged your public reputation for absolutely no reason Jasmine this was some real dumb bitch shit. I Could not say her even the blonde beat bleach. Yeah, I learned the fuck she said that even best shit was like Yeah, I'm doing a lot It was very much press. It was very much like even that to me while I understand why people lid for it And yes fuck Margie Taylor green right didn't have too much of rama did so even that to me red as like ooh They're making the girls inside of the court memes and things Yeah, yeah, this is what I'm gonna have me a reclaiming my time. Oh Yeah, that's exactly when she started selling that corny ass saying on a t-shirt. I said, oh my god No about that you wack girl you're a wack. Oh, you are so fucking wet. You know she reminds me of Cheyenne Bryant, but I know she went You know like everything else Beginning else. I wouldn't be shot. Yeah, that's a diamond-made name plate I bet you probably to us and I would not be god damn it I'm glad you said it because now I really do see it. I mean Did chat she don't be on cam Newton podcast next week. Oh god Jasmine Crockett College. Oh roads for undergrad and University of Houston Law Center. Mm-hmm Oh well damn Really sucks cuz you It was a lot of things to to root for with Jasmine, but Mm-hmm, but that's that's over That's over just like uh Like Ed Sheeran Ed Sheeran I've been to even have a tour no more baby. He's not even been to did you hear about this Beautiful transition because that's not is it. No. Oh, man. No cuz why did I both of those bookmarks? I was like one right after the other please So Ed Sheeran's entire tour is a flop at this point and I think she should go ahead and stay home um This is all good. Oh, this is all cuz literally Hey, and that's what's really crazy that all of this is because a pig This is gonna fall back. I guess saying shit to homies like you're not going anywhere. Yeah You look like one of those people who's trying to like pair a little part and you just don't know how Just get out the car if I'm sorry. Hey, you just keep going them same two inches back and forth. Right Right on back so I think last week when we you know, I went off on on the pink and boy George For did criticizing Maclamore for having the nerve to say free Palestine and also directly saying that being Pro-Palestine asking for people to free Gaza has nothing to do with anti-subit like saying things that makes it yes Pink was like oh my god fuck Maclamore get him off of the tour give everybody refunds Boy George came out the big gay grave from wherever in Sanca Asher didn't really say anything about Since then Maclamore has been removed from the I think new North American leg of this loop Tour that Ed Sheeran is been on I think it's called loop cuz he about to go right back home. Okay. Okay Um Now in things he's been removed because the tour promoter And venues have decided they don't want to him on there anymore one person In particular named was Robert Kraft owner of the when you own the venues. Yeah, let's say to him. Yep. Yep. Yeah, then you can say bitchie not coming over here now with them in so figure it out Uh Maclamore is contracted with the promoters and so they said hey We want money and we don't care about none of the shit you talk about nobody's babies nobody's mama's nobody's bombs We want the money. You're not giving it. So you're fired hours later hours The tour lost thingy is Billy Irish brother that cracked me Baby because one thing I know about miss thin she doesn't play the game Then he's was like oh y'all are actually doing way too much. I'm out. I don't need this. You need me. I don't need you No, right Irish singer Aaron row also dipped out on the uh the tour and uh the Irish spoke band Bioga who was actually his backing band for the show. Yeah, yeah. That's what I'm saying you not finna have You're just not finna alukas grand dipped so pretty much after pink tried to bully you To fire this man and you did now what tour You ain't got no band you have no openers because a bunch of People who own these venues or whoever the fuck promotes your your tour from your label or our management team or whoever the fuck you I heard said yeah, fuck this white man and his sentiments for for babies in the balance time. He's fired Scooper together. I can't wait to see what the the publicists are gonna try to do to make this shit go because it's a shit show now It's a complete shit show from top to bottom. You're not gonna perform anywhere without this having stink on it No, here's what Matt uh, here's what what uh, what is this white man name Here's what Ed Sheeran said oh my god On his Instagram. This was so bad It was like grow you should have just shut them up Like You being fucking quiet I love that this isn't bullet points I'm appalled by the conflict between Israel and Palestine The suffering and pain caused on both sides is a human tragedy. So you lost me immediately Two sentence in two sentence in. I'm going. I don't know where we're going There are too many wars across the world causing a measurable pain none of which should be tolerated Macklemore asked to join my tour last year and I agreed because I respect him as an artist shade Oh as with all my support acts I agree that they play a set list of their choosing After Macklemore's performances at new at my New Jersey shows Been used on my upcoming tour dates communicated that they would be pulling the shows if he was still supporting I was informed that this stance was based on how Michael Moore conveyed part of
of his message during his performance, rather than on everything that was said. - Okay. - Okay. - I spoke with the venues at length all week to try and build a bridge. One of those people was Robert Kraft, dragger. I was also involved to answer it. I'm pointing all the fingers I can. (laughing) - Got to. It's not just gonna be me, dammit. - Right, and I mean, fucker. I was also involved in direct talks with promoters along with activists on both sides to try and find a mutual resolution for all. But the venues and promoters' decision was final. Maglimore's coming off tour was the promoters' decision. It was not mine. Maglimore's contract, the tour was the promoter. Not me. - Let's take a break. Let's pause your fake. Let's go into the, I don't know if you've (laughing) go over in to one of these little gas stations. - Wow. - Stop, get me a little, a little freezer. - A little huggy, yep. - It's weird to take a break. - If you would like for me to believe that you had absolutely no political movement in what happened here, and it was all the promoter, please take a bite. I don't know. Like, of course, you have contracts and you have certain stuff that you're obviously obligated to because of said contracts. But if you feel like you could not pull your dick out (laughing) and make a difference here, I just, I refuse to believe it. That's okay. You got your snacks. You want to go grow? - Because you're not, Edward, look me in my fucking face. You're not, you're not serious right now. You could have said, won't be no show if y'all gonna act like this because there's nothing wrong with saying free Palestine. So why don't we just cancel all this shit if y'all gonna act like that? You could have said that, Edward. - You see how I play the guitar and I sing the song and they come to see me. I'm not doing it. - Right. - And if I have to buy myself out of this contract with all of the money I had, I want you guys to understand that Ed Sheeran has written outside of his own hit record. - Oh yeah. - Ed Sheeran has made an ass load of money in his writing songs. Now that doesn't mean he should just, you know, feel obliged to take that financial hit. But if you wanted to throw in my face, well like it was the promoter's decision so I don't know what I was supposed to do about it. Not perform. - Right. Put your dick on the fucking table Ed Sheeran. 'Cause once you get to, once you get to stadiums, you're a bad bitch. That's big, big money. You don't, thus, you had an option here. You chose to be a bitch about it. You chose to do the all. I'm not getting involved in politics. We're talking about babies dying. This is you, you either pick a side or we'll pick it for you. - I would never let down the fans who had made plans. Nor would I have been able to bring crew and the other support acts and musician. - Children are dying for work and to make a living. All right, let's see. - Ah, yank. - There's a Wendy's. Let's talk to her. Kiss me off. - Maybe, first of all, this kind of is a nice little addition to what I just said. The promotion she had very little to do with it outside of pressure. - Right. - Likely from these same people going, "Well, what about all the people who do all of these tours? You know, the lights for you." And those fans will have another concert to go to and all the people who rigged lights will get another job rigging lights. You think that their first time working on lights or doing a being a production assistant or doing graphics or sound, you think you're the only time they've ever done. You think you're the first tour and the last tour that they'll get a chance to do this on. Children are being murdered. - These people are being targeted for who they are. Israel is deliberately trying to eliminate these people from the face of the earth. And you talking about my 13 year old daughter, what's her birthday? Like Macklemore said, Ed Sheeran and Macklemore and Pink are not victims. Y'all have everything you could possibly need to shelter and take care of yourselves. If you are taking a financial hit because of this, it pales in comparison to a baby losing their parents or having their fucking limbs blown off. I don't care if you lose a few dollars behind it. - Why don't you give me about you, the fans missing this show or the person having to go get another John. When we're talking about parents walking around with their kids in bags on a daily basis. Children getting limbs amputated with no anesthesia, no medical tools. - Horrific, unspeakable violence. Taking place every day for years now. - Targeting schools. - I don't give a fuck. - Yes! - Targeting hospitals. - Okay. - Blowing up hospitals and schools and then being like, well, terrorist babies. - Things happen. - And the babies grow up and then they become terrorist too. So I just had to. - It's just crazy how deep racism goes as Palestinian people not even dark-skinned and y'all still hate them so bit. - Hello. I have always used my platform and music to bring people from all backgrounds and cultures together and this won't ever change until now. - Like, this one ever, you just changed it. - You are a bitch at my God. - You just changed it. - Yeah. - Those who have been to one of my shows will know that they are about unity, joy, escapism, love and a place for everyone to feel welcome. - Less youth feel like balance taking and people deserve to live. I'm just, I'm helping, you know? - Yeah. - You know, he's leaving some words out. - I am not complicit. - Oh! (laughing) - That cracks me up and why did he post it? - Don't you feel like guilty Edward? What do you mean? - You're not complicit. - I have my personal views on this devastating conflict. What are they? - Just because I choose not to speak publicly, it doesn't mean I don't have them and it doesn't mean I don't care. - Sean Proof, proofs in the pudding. 'Cause you kicking a nigga off your fucking set because I'm off your tour because he said free Palestine. - It's not giving us this book. - Come on. I think we can figure out what side you stand on it. When, 'cause you write you, you don't have to speak about it, but we can see your actions. We can see the way you act. We see how when the choice was stand with Palestinian people or piss off some concert promoters, you decided like, okay, all right. - Nor does it mean I don't support causes in my own personal way. This is your own personal music. Your own personal fingers that strum that guitar and your own personal microphone or your own personal tour. With all that's already surrounding it in terms of this cause, wouldn't the brightest star spangling it? Method of support. Be the support here. 'Cause politically what you're doing right now whether you choose to accept it or not, they say fuck all that shit going on in Palestine, baby. 'Cause we're here to sing song and get to the bag. There's a reason I do not use my professional platform for politics. My audience includes young people often children of all backgrounds and babes, they're not involved in politics at all. We're literally currently talking about young people and children. And the young people and children that you were talking about, clean water, air conditioning, it's blowing my mind in. Croutes and vegetables that they can eat. Plot pause. Those who come to my shows do not expect a political forum clearly. I understand. Macklemore strength of purpose to stand up and shout for what he believes, except for when it's on my tour cause then he's fired. However, there is room for multiple approaches to the same end piece. That is a dog ass whistle. I choose to use my fame and platform to be a place of safety and sanctuary. - Yeah. - Pristle, that one? - Safety. Is it in sanctuary? That one? - No, wow. - You would have thought Calisi was my man because I was bringing fire. Safety, you have the nerve to say that you use, you choose to use your fame and your platform to provide safety and sanctuary in this exact same message [BLANK_AUDIO]
You are talking about people criticizing you. No, I'm so shitting on someone who is advocating for safety and sanctuary for everybody. And what the fuck are you talking about? And why do you have a song with Beyonce bitch? And it's beautiful too. God damn it. To maintain diplomacy and keep conversations open, not closed as you are literally closing up. If we only focus on shouting the loudest, nothing will ever change. I don't even know what the fuck with that means. There are different approaches to being an advocate for change, you already said that part. I've spent this on trying to build bridges to find a solution and unfortunately was unable to do so. I know who I am. I am both. I know who I am both as a person and as an artist and those who know my heart know my values too. It's always a wrong ass bitch saying those who know my heart. Who know your heart, God, God know how you really are. This was not a year where I was expecting to have to drag Ed Sheeran or to come back with him. So I'm tired of this one. I don't even know what else Earth got for me. This was such not only a waste of time, it was like. Those wounds, here's some bleach, put a little bit of salt into those deep to the wound left. Yeah. Yeah. You got to stay the fuck quiet. I would have rather you stayed the fuck quiet than give pink something to lick her been at. Right. Right. I could not believe they actually removed Michael Moore from that tour. I said no fucking way for saying free Palestine for saying free Palestine. The fact that Robert crack and then his right world out of his fucking hole somewhere from deep in the Epstein files to be like, oh yeah, let's make sure that he wasn't even I don't even think they were, oh yeah, he was coming to Gillette, but it is just the fact that you called other NFL owners, because of course, y'all have a billionaire boys club and was like, let's all get on the same page about this like for saying free Palestine, that is how dedicated y'all are to Israel is really insane that it's what y'all are willing to do to justify the the extermin the attempted extermination of these people. It's a genocide in every sense of the word everybody recognizes it. The fact that y'all are being this head asked about it defies logic. No one understands why y'all are are being this way to Israel, do you own Israel? Like maybe, maybe Robert Crab does have really, maybe you do really deep political ties forever and ever. But it's like this is we don't live in a time anywhere anymore where these like war crimes and disgusting political activity is like secret, or you know, cat, a little bit more censor or packed away. Everybody know everything. Yeah. These children that you talking about who come to your shows, they don't take talking about what the fuck. They know what free Palestine means and they probably support it. The thing is, he's right that people don't come to his shows for anything even remotely close to politics. But you don't have to be a political person for politics to be you like we, the politics will still happen to and around you, even if you don't want to get involved. But you also, you don't have to be that guy. Like I said, we will see it in your actions. Like somebody said on threads, well, Dolly pardon, never really talked about politics either when people asked her, she would be like, Oh, I'm not going to talk about politicians. Is this this yes and Dolly pardon started a fucking library program that sends books to kids and improved literacy rates in her state and Dolly pardon paid for her chauffeur's transition and Dolly pardon, like used her money, her, her, her, her philanthropy. All of those measures were the things she did so that we didn't have to ask Dolly about her politics because Dolly showed us through her actions what she was about. The same way and sheering is showing us through his actions and this dumb ass statement on Instagram where you smartly turned off the comments because I know they was chewing you up. I know they were, but we wasn't prepared for that when you repulsed your comments. Yes. Because I just pulled it up and why Scotty being right here talking about loser and she's correct. See what you believe in not because of what you say, but because of your actions. We see talking about what people who really know me know where my values are. We see your values in your behavior. And I don't like these bullet points that feel condescending and you loud wrong. You should have had one black background, one bullet point and it should have said my bet. If anything, he don't I wish you would have just nothing. I don't think he feel bad. I legit do not. I think he doesn't feel this feels great. This is exactly. If anything, it's not annoyed that now this is a conversation around the fucking tour because all of his other comments, you know, people, if you turn off comments on one post, they will just go to the next available post. Not taking a side is taking a side by the way. If you're neutral in terms of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor. Wow, I'm so disappointed in you. Wow. Reconsider. Wow. Wow. Like, you are getting chewed up, bro. And I, I'm actually, I don't want you to go back and do nothing differently. Show us exactly who you are. Okay. I wasn't in danger of supporting Ed Sheeran, but I might have to go listen to the same love or whatever. I said, "Maclamore Song." What is it called? Maclamore songs. Oh, Maclamore? I don't even know if we're talking about it. Oh, Thrift Shop. Yeah, you remember same love that, that, that, yes you do. That's how, where he was like, and if he like he, then that's okay. He got the same love and y'all are gay. You know something like that. I don't, I don't remember that. You know what? And that sounds like something that, you know, God says. I might go, that doesn't sound nearly, I might go give it a stream is what I'm saying. I might have to just pull up Maclamore on the good old Apple music and, and give him some streams of solidarity, because wow. And that makes matters even worse Ed Sheeran pink, I hate you bitches like, well, you know, this is like, if you and I had a show at, where Kennedy Center, and we were like, Hey, Flint still ain't got clean water. And then they canceled it. What? What am I saying? Wrong. They don't have clean water. They said. Yeah. Speaking of, did you know the Kennedy Center is closing because of this Trump shit? You know, Trump wants to put his name on the building. The federal court said, no, oh, I did hear about this. So they're going back and forth with the court system about Trump when to put his name on the building. And they said, you know, let's actually just shut, let's just shut it down because this is getting done. So yeah, look at what Donald Trump is doing indeed, but if we can't say free Palestine, y'all, the line in the sand, if that's where it is, then, okay, okay, are you going to fire us all on me or are you just going to strip everybody of their ability to work and make money and take care of themselves like shout out to to Phineas and the Irish band and the other guy. The people who were like, you know, I'm on this tour, but this is, you got me fucked up. You just got me fucked up plain and simple, the Irish people like, no, we know too much about being oppressed. We're not, we're not rocking with this dumb shit. It's really America and, you know, the Brits, but every that one time, Billy, Billie Eilish were in, or, but she went a cranny and she went on stage and said, no one is illegal on stone. Yeah. People got this. Yeah. She said, fuck ice and that's it. So when I saw Phineas walk out, I was like, yeah, sounds about right. And I just want to know why, why, why, why why McLemore and not Kanye, how come Kanye can go around and tour as much as he wants to? And he was blatantly anti-submitted, shouted out that nigga Hitler multiple times, wore Nazi merch, sold Nazi merch, black privilege, but y'all came together to, but y'all came together to make sure Macklemore couldn't be on stage.
for saying free Palestine, it's not adding up. - I mean, why people are just like, then it gets brain dead, and then it gets painless. Like, I mean, it was really, really good. I think they saw Ed Sheeran and Macklemore and that platform is like, my kid's going in that country. You know what I mean? - Yeah. - It's like safe white space. - Right. Ed Sheeran was able to take this space. - Yes, and that, okay. - I saw comment on TikTok that said, is Ed Sheeran just the male version of Taylor Swift, and now I get it. And now I get it. Now I fucking get it. Now I see what you mean by that. A damn shame, Ed, that you chose to be on the wrong side of history, but. - That was really healthy. He was just going to stay quiet. - Or at the very least come out on stage at some point and be like, I know a lot has been going on these, these couple of weeks or this pass out long. I just want to say that everyone deserves safety. And you know, just like a safe ass, whatever the fuck and then just move on from there. - It's probably what it looks like about how this ain't joke for. - Right, and actually his music and his concerts are a safe space in a sanctuary for all. So how dare you even suggest that maybe he is in the wrong. (laughing) - I really can't believe it. That wasn't it. That you could have done something else, bro. - Safe space in a sanctuary. If that one rose, my blood pressure is so fucking high. I'm like, you clearly don't pay attention to anything or you do, or someone drafted this for you and you were just too beside yourself to even read you thing. Mostly turn a comments off. - I just thought I wanted to just run these scales and you know, get my voice together for tonight. - Well, we know who you are now. - Fucking center. - Yep. - For actually on both sides. - And calling it a conflict, baby. This isn't a two five year old squabbling. - This is a conflict. Okay, I know what you are. - Fuck off my screen, Ed Sheeran. I actually hate this idea that being pro-Palestine is anti-Semitic, I hate it because it is dangerous. It's dangerous. It is dangerous to keep having this idea that people, including your kids, who TikTok and understand like, basic one plus one common sense in this situation, them saying free Palestine means that you hate Jews. - You know, just that is so dangerous. - Make it shit up. - Yep, you flatten down what it means to be anti-Semitic until it means nothing. - And you make it seem like safety of Jews, prioritizing Jews, like none of that matters. - Right. - Or like your anti those things if you're poor. - People in Palestine having lives. - Right, right, right. Even if it's just so dangerous. - And being pro, these people living means I'm anti you, then guess what? (laughing) I didn't say it, you said it. I didn't say it, you said it, bro. - Like how do you not see the ramifications of that kind of idea? - You know, that's actually a much deeper conversation. - Don't support the state of Israel. - I'm saying I don't even know that we really have the time to really get into, to really get into that, 'cause yeah, that is a much deeper conversation, but yeah, this is where we are, man. Ed Sheeran can be out there by his fucking self, like Justin Bieber was at Coachella with a laptop on stage, trying to make some shake, 'cause ain't nobody else clocking in to work, and I don't blame them. - I bet Pink Texthibition was like, I ain't got an opening. - Text the bitch back, shut the fuck up. This is all your fault. - Bitch, I play stadiums. We don't have no place for you to hook yourself onto and repel down from the sky. (laughing) - You kind of pulled around this, being knocked on the door down. Touch your hands, bitch. - All right, well, I guess that will wrap up. How much time do we spend on the reads, Lord?
