The NEW Kind of Fantasy Life With Matthew Berry | Hour 2

The Dunlabetar show features a mix of humor, sports commentary, and deep dives into fantasy football strategies. A standout moment involves Dan Lebertard attempting a swing against a high school softball pitcher, where his physical misstep and collapse underscore his lack of athletic readiness—leading to a lighthearted but pointed critique of his performance. The show also celebrates the Atlanta Hawks’ creative "Single AF" marketing, which turns game attendance into a social event, encouraging real-life connections among fans. In the fantasy football segment, Matthew Barry provides detailed insights on player performance, highlighting Trevor Lawrence’s elite form, Jalen Waddle’s potential in the upcoming game against the Jaguars, and the importance of target share and quarterback utilization. The discussion also touches on cultural nuances, such as the meaning of a pineapple emoji in social media signaling openness to dating. Ultimately, the show blends entertainment with data-driven analysis, offering both fun anecdotes and actionable advice for fans, while promoting the fantasy football app and ticketing platform Game Time with a special discount code.

You are listening to the Dunlabetar show in partnership with the draft King sports app now live in all 50 estates. So the skill of high school softball players. We were just talking about how incredible all of these girls are in comparison to the baseball side. And we found the video shout out to our video team. We found the video of Dan Lebertard trying to take swings against a high school softball pitcher. Let's show off Dan's level of athleticism here. So he's been swinging the fastballs and no, come on, check to swing. Anybody not only checked to his swing, you had eight infielders in there basically. You had everyone standing right near knowing that he wouldn't even touch this pitch. Guys, it's amazing. We're burying the lead here. Yeah, like it's not that he checked the swing. It's not that they pulled all the everyone in. It's the fact that 10 stumbles to the ground trips over his feet and falls down on the ground. Yeah, to articulate this to the audio audience, Dan thinks he's going to see a fastball. He loads up ready to go and the moment that that pitch comes in with any level of spin. By the way, pitch right down the middle of the plate. So this pitch comes at him and he takes a load and then steps with the front foot. His back foot slips from under him. His front foot slips again and he falls to the ground as dirt flies everywhere. And by the way, not only a check swing, he doesn't get to swing off. His hands barely move. His entire lower body gives out on him. So I want to say shout out to that pitcher and shout out to Dan's horrendous level of athleticism. You know what I think? What's that? I think that deserves a toast. Dan's athleticism deserves a toast and worth a toast is presented by Cuervo. Keep it fun. Keep it. Cuervo. Dan's athleticism. Something to behold every single time we see it. This is just 100% Cuervo, by the way, that I've been chugging on all day. Makes sense with how the show's gone. Yeah. A little rickety, a little crooked, but always fine to toy. Cuervo. All right, man. This is an interesting time in sports history because the marketing that happens at games to get people to go to games is pushing all the boundaries. Oh, we had college night. Oh, I remember going and cats and hawks games for five bucks because it was college night. Oh, thank you. Thank you. We've had, oh, like senior citizens, like all these theme nights, right? But that Lana hawks, Trista, are having a single AF night? I couldn't believe it. I texted Juju who lives in Atlanta, who's not single AF. He's actually booed up AF. He even had. Her birthday was recently. Yeah, sure. He posted the segment, the post game segments, her flowers, her. But I said to him, I said, did you see this? This is another. We have to really give claps to the Atlanta hawks marketing department as a whole because they just keep putting out banger after banger. And if it wasn't for that pesky kid, Luke Cornette, we would have gotten the magic city night as well. Yes, we would have. They have just been thinking creatively in ways that no other MBA team has. And now they're going to have people coming to the arena. I believe it's going to be in January against the Indiana Pacers, and they're already pre-selling tickets. Hey, it's IRL. Don't go on Bumble. Don't go on these other apps. See each other in real life, evaluate each other in real life and see maybe if you can find the love of your life at a hawks game. Is there a matching involved or just like humanity go? I think it's like, hey, everyone who's at this game, you know, is single. Yeah. When I was single AF, I was like, how do I let people know that I'm single AF? Is there like an icon on my Instagram? I don't really want people in real life to just assume it, you know? I don't think you want that on your Instagram because then that invite so much people were saying, like, oh, put a pineapple there or put a whatever, the pause, pause, pause. I don't know what the pineapple, why it needs a pause. But for people who go to this game, it's basically open season, hey, shoot your shot. Shoot your shot. Now, what happens all the season ticket holders like, oh, I'm Dr. So-and-so, and this is my lovely wife, Dr. So-and-so because doctors like dating doctors were married to doctors. And we're just here to enjoy all those pesky, tyrie's, halibut and lead Pacers. We have to help them to fall to our great mighty Atlanta Hawks. Honey, I'm just going to go get some popcorn. And next thing you know, someone's hitting on Dr. So-and-so, okay, what's up? What's good? It's single AF, not an I'm single AF. Well, hopefully they'll have their ring on and it doesn't look like they are single AF. It's like, oh, this is just, this is the season ticket holder with this ring on. Oh, I have a rash. That I got scratched. I'll be a hold on. They just get to be zazz and watch. They get a chair in the corner. I love the marketing of this. I haven't. So, how have they been pitching this to the people? Just came out yesterday and it was like, hey, buy your tickets to this game against the Indiana Pacers and we're going to have a meet up in the concourse. And you guys are, I don't know if it's going to be like speed dating, but just the idea that people are thinking creatively about how to get new people to watch games, because you know there's going to be some people who don't like basketball. I'm coming to get some. Come on. The meat market. Well, shopping. Oh boy. Oh boy. Speaking of meat market. Matthew Barry's here. What's up, Roy? Matthew Barry. Matthew Barry. Matthew Barry. Matthew Barry. The Spanish he picks up delivered by little Caesars, the official pizza sponsor of the NFL right now scored two faves just for you with Detroit Stau slices and sticks, but just 4.99. Only at little Caesars officially delicious. Matthew needs a pizza. Yeah. Hey, before I dive into, you know, some of the facts that we need to know for week number two, can I address Trista for one quick second here? My old friend Trista. Hey. Hey, what's up, buddy? Just, you know, I give advice for a living. This is what I do, Trista. I do not put a pineapple on your social media, because that doesn't actually mean I'm single. It means something entirely different. Oh, I didn't know where this. Oh, I didn't. You're a swinger. Yeah. It means you're a swinger. It means you're actually in a couple, but you're in an open relationship and you're looking to swing. How do you know that? Everyone knows it. How does everyone not know that? I will tell you, I mean, this is a thing. Does no one else on the show know this? Oh, we all know, we all know that. Yeah. I was going to say, I feel like it's something in popular culture. I actually know it because one time a while ago, how are you going to get out of this one? No, no, I'll tell you. No, a good friend of mine was telling this story and she was like, it was the weirdest thing like these new neighbors walked it. These new neighbors moved in next to us and they came over like Sunday night at 9 o'clock and they rang the doorbell and we're like, well, it's kind of late. And so we go down and they came over with a pineapple and we're like, well, that's so friendly of new neighbors. I'm like, no, that wasn't a, that wasn't were new to the neighborhood. We want to say, hi, right? I'm like, when you bring a pineapple, anyway, so we had to explain to them what it meant. New kind of fantasy life, you know what I mean? Yes, I do. Oh boy. So see, you're learning. There we go. I'm just, I'm just, you know, I'm trying to give you a heads up, a little help, a little helpful hint there. Just as you now, you're so good at social media, I'm surprised you did not know what that specific symbol meant. Yeah, put it on the pole. Do you know what a pineapple means? Usually upside down, upside down. It's going to be upside down. Usually it's an upside down pineapple upside down pineapple in an emoji form. Now we're getting into too many technical details, but the, the point is is if you go by a house, if you go to an apartment, if you go to, if, if you're, you're on a cruise ship and you see like a upside down pineapple, a pineapple that's upside down on somebody's door. Yeah, they're ready for business. They are, they are, they are open for business. Yeah. They are, they are ready to mingle. They're semi-single and ready to mingle. Yep. No doubt. He's Matthew Barry is the founder of fantasylife.com and the host of fantasy football happy hour with Matthew Barry. You can catch that on Audace. I feel like I can't say Odyssey anymore because that sounds like something different. Matthew, what you got for us today, man, give me, give me, give me some pointers, some tips, some hints. I got you, my friends. Since taking over as the starter in week four of last season, Maxson Dart is the fourth best quarterback in fantasy football on a point for a game basis. At least 19 fantasy points in 10 of his 12 full games. By the way, he's had Malik neighbors on the field for only two of those games. Hey, in week one, 34% of Aaron Rogers pass attempts actually traveled 15 or more ariards. Not only was that the highest rate in any game since he joined the Steelers, but it was also the first time that number even reached 25%. If this trend continues, good things might actually happen for DK Metcalf this season. This past Monday, in his first game of the Kansas City Chiefs, Ken Walker saw a 24% target chair that was actually tied for the team lead. And it was also the second highest target chair of his career. If he continues to be used in the passing game like that, number one running back in fantasy football is within the range of outcomes for Kenneth Walker. In his first game under Clint Kubiak Ashton Gentie, had a utilization score of 99. Utilization score is a proprietary metric that we came up with fantasy life.com in terms of how much in situations that score fit see points the highest you can get as a hundred gentie heading ninety nine score in week one the only running back with a higher utilization score was B. Jean Robinson in his first game sharing a backfield with Kenned Gainwell Bucky Irving saw a twenty six percent target share that was a career high he also ran eight more routes than Gainwell he saw both running backred zone touches we may have been too low on Bucky Irving the preseason nine different games nine different career games where Jalen Coker has gotten at least a 20% target share and those games he averages over seventeen fantasy points for game he's getting that twenty percent target share by the way in five of his last seven games Adam Thielin was a guest on fantasy football happy hour in the preseason and he told me Jalen Coker is the best wide receiver on the Panthers co-cats unite it's finally our time Jalen Coker gonna explode week one Matthew Golden led the Packers not not Christian Watson Matthew Golden led the Packers in both target share and route participation he might be wide receiver one a I'm still a Christian Watson believer but Matthew Golden might be there in week number one no tight and had a higher route participation and Colston loved ones eighty nine percent I get it he scored zero points he saw only two targets a game in a game in which the Bears scored 59 points but I'm just telling you Kale doesn't miss on two throws including one in the end zone the stat line would completely different I'm all in on the Bears give me all the Colston loved one I'm not panicking finally Harold Fanon 14% target share week one was his lowest in a completed games since week by the last season his 21 receiving arts second few in a game in his career probably won't always be this bad but Sean Watson doesn't help in case he concepts your own and Denzel Boston are gonna continue to take targets away so we talked about this in the preseason Harold Fanon's stat line last year was inflated by massive target share that he's not gonna get this year and those are just some of the 10 facts you need to know before week one down lebertar I'll go with this one Dave Dima check it is come time now this is the the lebertar show I'd like to jump in here and command Matthew Barry for having the guts to show up this morning after what happened in the ACC showdown on the banks to the three rivers last night while Matthew Barry and David Feeney and all cue slivers lick their wounds at the hands of me amazing Heinsel and company I want to get your insight on this Matthew Barry is a fantasy fantasy guy yeah I find that fantasy can sometimes provide some context this week after the Derek Henry week one big game other people meek biotony among them have declared that Derek Henry is now a top five Super Bowl error running back I'm curious if you can apply some fantasy measurement to this wherever how would you rank the top five in the Super Bowl error sorry to put you on the spot here but who would you say projection of I have to who would you say one through five one through three are the greatest fantasy running backs of the Super Bowl error one through five off the top my head ladenian Tomlinson's number one I would say I would say martial Falk is to yeah um multi purpose you know I mean christian McCaffrey's got to be in there somewhere right so christian McCaffrey's right yeah christian McCaffrey's top five boy it wasn't a super long career but you know I mean priest Homes jumped in my mind you know I think about I think about Brian Westbrook how good he was for so many years up the my Edron James you know it would be the best Matthew but I'm just playing this game with you sorry yeah I don't think Derek Henry is top five though I mean as much as I love Derek Henry I think you know I mean like Emmett Smith right I mean Emmett Smith would be up there Emmett Smith was like you know you know year after year touchdown after touchdown thermatomic probably to the past catching yeah and oh and and Adrian Peterson what am I talking about Adrian Peterson I don't know how I forgot him Adrian Peterson over Derek Henry again I love Derek Henry and what he's doing like he's a he's a genetic freak in nature and the fact that every single year like it's so funny like one of the things I put in my precede he was my precede it was on my precedes in love list this year damn a check and one of the things I wrote is like you know quote Derek Henry has had too many carries he's too old he's gonna get injured I said we've only written that sentence for seven straight years I mean like I've been people have been trying to bury Derek Henry for five six years now and every year he keeps defying expectation the rule that the rule that breaks all the rules like in Derek Henry's unbelievable but I do not agree that he's a top five running back in the NFL era from a fantasy football perspective as you asked me Matthew you're missing a bunch of huge years two thousand yards seventeen touchdowns nineteen hundred yards sixteen touchdowns more more years with multi ten plus touchdowns than not like there was a there's a couple of those like I think he's got more longevity than CMC even though CMC's ceiling's been higher priest homes only did it for what three years four years yeah no I said I don't think priest homes is top five either he just popped in my mind LT is one with a bullet yes LT is one with a bullet I think Marshall Falk is hard to top two and then I think you can get into some debate at least I think that's right yeah I think Thurm would be in there like I say Thurm and Thomas a guy like I it's fun to play historical fantasy football like Tony Dorset would be great fantasy there just was no fantasy football in 1978 to play but you know and and damn a check in the in the Thurmond Thomas mold Sean Alexander you know monster you Sean I feel like you know he had so many years in Seattle they just weren't you know they just never got you know over that hump but yeah I mean Sean Alexander would be somewhere in the mix he's he's definitely not top five but you know he's somewhere in the mix yeah but there's a lot there's a lot of there's a lot of great ones oh sorry I should go ahead Tristan no go ahead Shack is your world bro no no no no no no no I'm a gentleman you know my favorite kind of radio right here just no no no no you the way the Tony you guys up by the way yeah I do that the thing I disagree by the way I just want to be clear heard the thing I disagree with most within the segment is Dema Shack calling himself a gentleman that's honestly let's be clear about that I took my cab to you and I honored you for showing up this morning after yes after the orange embarrassed themselves I'm the orange embarrassed themselves and that was one of those backhanded compliments that was like like sort of hey good for good for showing up today because you know and then crap all over me and it's my orange which I agree we've we've got challenges there I watched Josh Allen proud fantasy life investor Josh Allen completely destroy the Lions last night that's what I actually watched on TV Shack also called himself a vigorous lover earlier today so there's been a lot of superlatives being thrown around by Dema Shack in the in in Hollywood when you maybe he's a maybe he's a pineapple lover who I'm a vigorous love maker wow exactly interesting when you ever had a Dema Shack have you ever had a pineapple outside your door I have not but you know I in a separate list among the fruit rankings the pineapple remains criminally underrated I'm fair and there are multiple uses for it for sure was definitely thinking that as well let's pivot to football because I'm getting like really derailed in the ways that we could go this way but when you're when you're looking at wide receivers and uh making a decision in terms of not just who to start but who to pick up on the waiver wire like Velae had an awesome game right for New Orleans I just got him off the waiver wire because if you're worthy is worth nothing to me anymore are you looking at targets per game are you looking at the quarterback play like how are we deciphering from one week like who is the guy we want to go out and get on the waiver wire yeah I think at Tristan there's a lot of data points to go into it and so at a very basic level it's just sort of like why did this happen and can it happen again so specifically to Devon Bailey who just mentioned is the number two wide receiver in the Saints why did this happen well Saint Stephen isn't great Kellan Moore always plays in an incredibly fast pace of play they did I think they ran 90 plays against the Lions 76 in the in regulation went to overtime so it's always that Kellan Moore's offense has always been one of the faster pace of play teams and and so you're like okay this is a team that's gonna throw that's gonna play upbeat that's gonna have a lot of possessions the run game didn't look great and then you think oh well the reason Devon Bailey is getting this opportunity is Jordan Tyson Jordan Tyson is gonna miss six weeks maybe eight maybe more and so you think like can this continue in the answer in the case of Bailey is I think so because he's gonna be basically the number he's gonna be the number two wide receiver on an offense that we like we like Tyler shock we like Kellan Moore we like the pace of play we don't love the defense so they're gonna be in this situation more often than not he's a good player solid player and so yes why did it happen partially because of game script but all partially because the offense is in the opportunity they had will that continue yes I believe so so there's a lot of data points but you know that's that's where you go to specifically with somebody like Bailey Matthew have a real quick doctor fantasy I have a quick one for you you mentioned DK Metcalf disappointing week one lot of drops there Jalen Wattle even more disappointing going into week two DK matched up against Christian Gonzalez and Foxboro or do you like to roll with Wattle to get right against Jacksonville a mile high I'm going with Wattle here I mean like you saw Sean Payton at the you know at halftime whatever I mean you know Davis Webb calling the place for the first time I am sure Sean Payton has his thumb on the scale this week you don't go and get somebody like Jalen Wattle I I will say just in a general sense damage check I'll do respect to DK Metcalf and your Steelers I prefer Jalen Wattle as a wide receiver at the stage of the respective careers right now I just I think he's just better younger I prefer the offensive environment of the Bronx Broncos, despite what we saw on Monday night. I prefer the offense environment of the Broncos, then to the Steelers that I think will be more balanced and a little bit more run heavy. But I was encouraged, as I mentioned in my 10 facts, I was encouraged by the fact that Rodgers, finally took some shots deep, whereas last year it was all Dink and Dunk, as you know. So I prefer Waddle this week. He's my wide receiver, 21. I'm back in. I know it was a brutal game in week one, but the Broncos who have super bowl aspirations, and Trissa, you do so much betting. So you know this, the odds of a team that starts o and two going to the super bowl are really steep. The Broncos have to win this game. They cannot go to o and two. I mean, they have obvious super bowl aspirations, rightfully so. So I think the Broncos get back on track this week. I think Jacksonville gives them a game. I mean, Trevor Lawrence had a huge game last year against them, but I'm in on Waddle, to answer that question. - I want to do something with you Matthew here. I'm going to give you some stats. I want to see if you can blind pick who it is that I'm talking about with these stats. Okay, are we ready? All right. - Can I ask, is this like week one stats? Is this last year's stats? - This is a grab bag of the last nine games for this player. But no, it'll make sense. It'll make sense. It'll make sense. All right, the last nine games, this person, this quarterback has the number one record 9-0. He's stood on for 2,500 yards. He was fourth best in the last nine games. 28 touchdowns, 1-11 as a QBR. This past week, 0.7 EPA, good for 98th percent overall, 16.2 completion percentage over expectation, and a week one in 10 plus yards down field, 11 of 13, four touchdowns, zero picks, and a perfect passer rating. - I would think it's either Trevor Lawrence or Caleb Williams, would be my two guesses. - It's Stephen Lawrence. - Nailed it, wow. - Can you put into perspective how good he's been? - He's been unbelievable. The trouble has been great. And during that stretch, that was one of those games was in Denver, where people were like, "Oh, he's beating up on some bad teams." And then he went into Denver and just absolutely destroyed them. Yeah, I mean, I think Liam Cohn's done a great job with that. He finally, Trevor Lawrence has finally become the quarterback he was drafted and then when thinks he will be, I don't think it's a given that the Broncos win this game. I just think that the Broncos will show up in a way that they didn't against Kansas City. Like, I think it's gonna be a very good game. But yeah, I mean, Trevor Lawrence is legit, and that offense they built around him. People think Parker Washington's just a guy. Parker Washington can play. You know, we need Brian Thomas Jr., to get back to how he was as a rookie. But Jacobi Myers is a guy that is criminally underrated, whether it was with the Raiders or the Patriots, he always earns targets. You know, Brent Strange saw a little tight end. You know, we'll see if they get more out of Travis Hunter on the offensive side of the ball. He played mostly defense in week one. But yeah, I mean, the Jags are legit. - Love a little strange, right, Matthew? (laughing) - No doubt, Tristan, no doubt. That's what you should put on your Instagram bio right there. - Just looking for a little strange pineapple emoji. Rico Dattle last year and the year before, like truly explosive, broke out, and now seems to be on a team that, offensively, you mentioned just a second ago, is a little up and down. How should we evaluate the running game of the Steelers and Rico's role, balancing his skill with opportunity? - Yeah, that's the problems. I just don't think the opportunity's gonna be there. And skill wise, I think he's a nice running back. But do I think he's significantly better than Jalen Warren, I don't. And I think you could make an argument Warren is better. And more importantly, Warren has the connection with Aaron Rodgers, despite Dattle's relationship with Mike McCarthy back from when they were in Dallas. And obviously he was one of the reasons, you know, McCarthy brought Dattle in. When you get on the field for the Steelers, it's gonna be at the, you know, at the blessing of Aaron Rodgers. And there's a trust factor with Jalen Warren there for Rodgers that I don't know that Dattle has as much. I like you asking an obscure Steelers question just to suck up to Damacek. But I think Dattle is basically like a flex play in fantasy where you're hoping for a touchdown. I just don't think it's gonna be a high powered offense 'cause I don't think they need to be. I think it's gonna be one of the best defenses in the NFL as it always is. And it looked like from week one, they're gonna be a little bit more aggressive on offense. But still, like, I mean, between Metcalfe and Pittman and you've got the tight ends, I think you're gonna see a rebirth of Friar Moot this year, a nice week one for him. Like, it just feels like a lot of malice to fee on a low scoring off. Not a lot, I mean, but, you know, just like a, it's a fine offense, a function offense that, yeah. It's my take. - I'll say this, Matthew Barry, just to provide the other side. I think that if I, while I'm forecasted by the end of it, Rico will get more touches than Warren will by seasons end. And I agree with you about the potential that defense, even if Joey Porter, Jr. never puts the uniform on. It could be a top five defense. That means a lot of running the ball to spin the clock in the second half. And I think that favors Dowdell. - High grade. - That's some fumble issues there. Other side of that game in Foxboro, though. Are you, how much, if at all, have you dropped Drake May minus AJ Brown, plus the three Pixie through in Seattle? - Yeah, it wasn't great. I mean, I think he's, if I was drafting today, which by the way, you can still do it, guillotinelegs.com, I'll throw in a plug, a company man. I have May as more of a lower NQB1 than like the top three guy he was going for. AJ Brown lost his significant. And there's no question. Teams have had a whole year to get tape on Drake May and a Josh McDaniel's offense. Their schedule is a lot harder this year than it was last year. Now, I still, look at, he had a bad day at the office, right? He went on the road at Seattle, tough place to play, loses AJ Brown early in the game. So I'm willing to give some caveats there, but certainly he is, losing AJ Brown is a significant loss for Drake May's fantasy value. There's no question. So he's still a QB1 to me, but a lower one. - Last question. - Do you get knobs to replace him then? Is that a decent play in fantasy terms? - If I had to pick a Patriots-wide receiver, sure, Romeo dobs, I just think they'll spread it around. I think they'll probably try to run the ball a little bit more. You'll see more pop Douglas. You'll see more Mac Hollens. Kyle Williams again in the mix as well, Hunter Henry. I just, it doesn't, I don't feel like Romeo dobs is an alpha the way that AJ Brown is. So again, like, who do I have ranked the highest of the Patriots-wide receivers? It's Romeo dobs, but do I think he suddenly becomes AJ Brown? I don't. - Matthew Perry. - Matthew Perry. - There it is. - Matthew Perry. Matthew Perry. - I got one more question. - No, no more questions. - I want to hear Matthew Perry take on Hallmark. - I got a plug 'em. - Listen, a full episode of the fantasy football, happy hour with Matthew Barry on Odassi and get personalized info. - Oh, Odassi. - It's not Odyssey, man, it's a movie. And get personalized info and tools for all things fantasy and sports betting at fantasylife.com. Matthew, thank you for joining us. David Shack, not another word from you. - I just want to hear this Hallmark question. What's the hallmark? - Okay, thank you for bringing it up. - Let's do it, let's do it. - Let me get my circular situation here. All right, so we're saying that we're still, if you on the Ponzi scheme situation, but we feel like Hallmark itself is a business that is predatory, okay? So they obviously do greeting cards and they've made enough money from greeting cards to now have TV production and Hallmark movies, right? Ensuring the sadness of its customers because of the nature of these movies, now getting you back to getting gifts to then get greeting cards again. And now it's a vicious cycle of the same repetition and perpetuity. What do you think about that? Sounds like the American dream. Sounds like they're very smart. This is how I'll figure it out. - I mean, dad, not a swinger. - I'm just saying, give the people what they want. At the movies didn't rate, it wouldn't all work. Like at some point, I think you're angry at the American people that fall for these movies that fall into this cycle. - Exactly. - I think you're mad at Hallmark. Hallmark's just exploiting something in the market. They're not doing anything wrong. They're just, if they weren't doing it, somebody else would. - It's also like a front dealer. It's like when I'm bad at fantasy, but I check fantasy life thinking that I'm gonna be better and then I'm still bad. And then all of a sudden, the next year, I'm like, I'm gonna win the championship. I got mad at you very on my side. And then all of a sudden, I ruin it. - Yeah, at some point, it's your fault. There's only so much that we can do to lead you to water here as well. I'm pretty sure that Hallmark doesn't pay for production on that stuff. I'm assuming it's a licensing deal, but maybe I'm not. I haven't looked at their 10Ks. But yeah, I'm, no, I mean, like, you know, God bless them. - Last question, Judea and Christ. - Oh, no question. Hallmark, questions. - Matthew Barry. - Thank you, Matthew. - Matthew Barry. - We'll see you next week, guys. - Matthew Barry. - Bye, Matthew. - We gotta pay-- - Come up for everyone. - We gotta pay them extra now. 'Cause you guys can't shut up about your fantasy teams. - He's the fantasy guru. - I get it. - We're asking a fantasy question. - He's got a website. You can go there and get all the information you need. - I use it. - Down lebatar. - Hey, damage deck. - You know about that, Jaticus? - Dave, then I check. - No, I don't. - I figured it out. - This is the down lebatar show. (upbeat music) - I have a question for the rooms directed to primarily at Tony. I'm with you, man. And in fact, a little spoiler alert, Tony. And I will continue this conversation on football America coming up in just a few minutes here being the lookout. Wherever you're finding your podcast and on YouTube. If the Jags win this game, the entire world will be in the Jacksonville as a super bowl contender conversation. So let's get in on it right now. Do you think they really can win? Matthew says he wouldn't be surprised. I'm out right picking the jacks to win that game. How's it you guys? I'm also picking them to win. I think that they have a better team that is more focused with a direction of what they want to do. I think offensively the Broncos are still in a bit of flux trying to get their offensive play calling figured out as bonus is ankle 100% healthy. We don't really know where's Jalen Waddle. He was on a milk carton like there's a lot of questions that I have about the Broncos that I don't have about the jacks and play calling better quarterback better weapons. I'd probably say better on the jack side like everything is pointing towards Jacksonville. I need a pallet. Let me put my Dan face on here and we'll get the angry Dan. I need a damn shake. I need a damn shake pallet cleanser. I just need to not hear him talk for five minutes and so we're going to do something completely different. I am enamored by this new motor sport that I discovered this week. It's these cars that and if you're not watching. It's a pickup truck with a flatbed behind it's dragging it and then every other car on the circuit is trying to park on the flatbed and you say, oh, that's easy. Oh, it's not because they keep falling off because once the thing turns the curve, it kind of jerks the flatbed a bit and if you're not parked properly, you will fly off. And so while they're all trying to park on the flatbed, they're also crashing into one another because everyone's trying to hate no one wants the other guy to win. So you got to go there and kind of knock into him. Stay up. Stay up. I don't know how long the video is. It's one of those videos that Dan would definitely be upset that we played it because it's so long, but I was enamored. I watched the whole thing. I'm like, man, and Tony, you asked a relevant question. I mean, how do we do this? How do we do this? Like, how can we physically get in those cars? I'll sign away. Whatever I got to sign away. I've jumped out of a plane. Crazy things. All let me get onto this thing so we can get on the bat of that truck and figure out how to do it. It's amazing. There's this car right here that literally loses control, tumbles and over and over and like a movie. And I'm like, this guy must be all messed up. Nope. He comes out and he's rolling up the crowd. Let's go. Let's go. I'm like, oh man, you got a concussion. He's like, that doesn't matter what I've got. We've got a sport that America will love uniquely American sport here. I mean, like, you can't take this to the European side of the world and be like, hey guys, this is what we got going on. They're like, what is that? What does a pickup truck think they got in the way? The European mind can't fathom. No way. Yeah. Letticism. And the just creativity of the American mind. This guy, one with a sion T.C., right? Or what is a sion, a sion something? One of them boxy ass sions. But then another guy gets on behind. So who wins? Do they both win? I think he gets second place, right? What? I missed his fight. I thought I had watched the whole thing. I didn't know that you could finish second by jumping on there. Yeah, man. Now here, you see the other guy trying to nudge him off, but he's on there. He's lodged. This is an amazing sport. What's it called? King of the mind? What's it say? King of the, King of the something. King of the hill. There you go. Next one more sec. As on brand, as it's been for me to bring up hallmark movies and being excited about a new cat. Yeah. I don't think there's anything more on brand that I will tell you than the fact that as a high schooler, I really wanted one of those boxy sion cars. Of course. I also wanted the Honda Element and I ended up with the KSR, which is another boxy car. Let me guess what drew you to the KSO? It was the hamster commercial. Oh, so it was the hamster commercials. Obviously, it was the hamster commercials. What kind of person do you think I am? It was also the safety rating. My parents really were very excited about the safety rating. So to the younger listeners who don't know this, this, you know what the KSO looks like. When it first was introduced, their ad campaign were these human size hamsters. Hip hop hamsters. They were hoodies and they were dancing the who's the black sheep? Where's the black, that was the song they were doing. I believe in the commercial and then they were in the car, like bopping their heads and shit. Cool to tell. Young James were awesome. Young Jeremy was like, one of those like that is bizarre. I want one. That's a good new sport, I mean, but there's another new sport that's sweeping football America. All of America. It's called Mr. Lister. Let's get it on TNT style, Pasha V Tony. I am going to give you a list. You guys name one name on that list, one at a time until one of you runs out. Here we go. Let's get it on the first category today. MCC guys who won the Heisman trophy, Pasha, you start us off. Tim Tebow. Good one. Tim Tebow is correct. Herschel Walker. A little bit of a cheat code here, Johnny Manzell, A&M wasn't the SEC at the time. Was it? I don't believe it was. Is that count? Yes, he was. Is that count? Is that count? Is that count? I'm pretty sure that if we're taught that that is that A&M was in the SEC. Yeah, because they played Bama. No, you're right. I think they had already moved by them. All right. So I was, you know, I was just playing around with some fun there just to create some controversy. Oh, is that what it was? Yeah, controversy. Okay. I'm going to go with, I'm going to go with is the classic stall Mark Ingram. I'd like you to go Mark Ingram too, but okay. Hmm. Now you got me thinking. Who was the stall as well? Peyton Manning. Oh, yeah. Tony, you're, you're chance to see you here, you did not win a whole documentary about about how he didn't. Yeah. All right. Let's think. I'm going to go with everybody knows Bo Jackson. Nice. The horns are going crazy on this. Bo Jackson is correct and Tony claims that category. I can't believe Tasha, you couldn't some, some of the names Cam Newton or Joe Burrow, I could have. I just went to Peyton Manning first, because I thought he won. Yeah, I know. But, but, but your claim, I don't know anything that happened before 2003. You should at least know everything that has happened since 2000. Yeah. And I do know it. And you've, you're bullying worked because I was feeling some shame. And I was like, let me go in the way back machine. He just did a Herschel Walker. Let me go to Peyton Manning. And then I looked like an idiot. All right. I look like an idiot. I thought it was a showdown. Mr. Lister. In fact, I will allow you to bring in the vanquished Tasha Tony and Tasha via mean Mr. Lister. It's a movie category movies of Tommy Lee Jones. What was the category? Movies of Tommy Lee Jones. Got it. The fugitive. Good start. I'm going to go. Men in black. Men in black too. That's well done. I mean low hanging creek. That's the way you do it. Hmm. Tasha. Was he in Space Cowboys? U.S. Marshall's. That's all I got for you, brother. That's all you. Yeah. Pretty sure that's all I got. Space Cowboys. I don't know what. I saw that in theaters when I was like six years old. Two of you, I mean, Tommy Lee Jones, think about him for a second. There's some obvious ones. I'm ready whenever they're ready. This is an out. The sex date with Pam Anderson, you outclass Batman forever. Yeah. Yeah. Of course. I think he might have been at least was nominated for an Academy Award for this for another one. Probably. Maybe. No, no, no. He might not have been nominated. Come to think of it. Harvey Denton. He was tear. By the way, he was in atrocities, too. Well, he was reeked, you know, originally too, Harvey Dent in the original 1989 Batman, Billy D Williams, Tim Tim Burke, Tim Burton, Kaz Billy D Williams, and he was great as Harvey Denton. And he was supposed to be two face eventually. And then Joel Schumacher comes in. And he's like, I know Hollywood. Let me get rid of Land No Carrizian and go get old ass Tommy Lee Jones, who overacted his ass off on that movie. No country for old man. Forgot that. There it is. That's the one I was looking for. Good for you. We're scoring some dignity to the preceding. That ladies is back to you, I mean. That lady said, no, it's over because I already said Batman forever and they hadn't had one. So I already won. You decided to jump in with Batman. No. Yeah, I know we had, yeah, we were right on the tip of my tongue Batman forever. Don't go there. You stole that one from me. He's over there like looking it up on Wikipedia. Are you kidding me? Come on, let's write off the dome. Loan some dome. The hero of this movie, the hero of this movie was Jeff Bridges. That's a little clue. He was the bad guy. Jeff Bridges? No, Jeff Bridges is the hero, Tommy Lee Jones is the bad guy. He's blown away. Look at Roy. See, Roy is the wild card of this, of Mr. Lister, sometimes you think there's a category that he's going to run the table on. He can't come up with one than other times. He jumps in with those stuff like blown away. Well done. Do I jump? Do I jump in or not? pretty. They took mine with Ashley Judd remember Ashley Judd kid her husband and then like you see they can't charge her twice so she gets to kill her husband again. How about under siege? Oh yeah that's a good one. Very very. Ladies and gentlemen. Mr. Lister in all its glory. Wow good idea. That's a good look at how that all wrapped up at the end those horns everything let it go. Guys we've almost come to the end of the JFK. JFK is over. Everybody was in JFK. Yeah Clay Shaw Clay Bertrand. We never got the fugitive was the first thing I mentioned and we never got to Dave Damagex great conundrum but I'll tell you what we'll do we'll do it right before we do the club.
