The Must-Draft Players To DOMINATE Your Fantasy Basketball League This NBA Season

Michael Bolton’s podcast outlines a series of "must-draft" players in fantasy basketball, emphasizing that these recommendations stem from current rankings on ESPN and Yahoo, not absolute musts. The analysis focuses on rounds two through ten, identifying players like Lamello Ball, Josh Gidey, Yannis Aoua, and Dyson Daniels who are undervalued due to misleading rankings. He stresses that rankings are dynamic and must be interpreted with context—such as team performance, player health, and role changes. Players like Anthony Davis, Paul George, and Chet Hongren are highlighted as high-value picks in specific formats, particularly where ESPN’s nine-category system appears misaligned. Bolton warns against narrative-driven speculation and insists on data-based decisions. He also notes that value exists in both categories and points leagues, with some players offering significant upside (up to 20–50 spots) despite low rankings. The episode concludes by reinforcing that fantasy success relies on spotting mispriced players, not rigid draft rules, and urges listeners to use these insights as flexible guides—not absolute mandates. The final picks, including Zach Edie and Peyton Watson, are presented as safe, high-upside options with path-dependent value. Bolton underlines the limitations of mock drafts and encourages critical evaluation of league-specific dynamics.

Sit down, pull up a chair. I'm going to tell you the players that you must draft to have success in Fantasy Basketball, and if you don't, there's no real hope left for you. Michael Bolton. Thanks, Josh. It's Michael Bolton here, and it's time for another episode of the Lockdown Fantasy Basketball Podcast. Let's get to it. Let's get to it in day. You are Lockdown Fantasy, your daily NBA Fantasy Podcast, part of the Lockdown Podcast Network, your team every day. Hello, and welcome to the Lockdown Fantasy Basketball Podcast brought to you by Basketball Monster. My name is Josh Floyd, and if doctors want me to drink water, why did they invent Kirk's sugar-free lemon squash? We're talking about must-draft players. ESPN points check. Yahoo categories check. ESPN categories check. Yahoo points check every round. One player for each of those formats that I think is egregiously ranked, and therefore you might be able to get value on them. We're going to go through rounds two to ten, because round one, it's round one, and let's talk about them. Today's episode is brought to you by the bigfellas over at Fangil. Make this your most rewarding season ever with Fangil rewards. Every week check the Fangil app to see what's waiting for you. Do this show every year. It seems to be a banger. Of course, there is no such thing as a must-draft player. I want you to be very, very, very clear on this. The names that are brought before you, in this show. A purely fictional have no relation to anyone in the room. No, the names that I bring before you do not have to get them. Do not say what Josh said is a must-draft player. I'll take him at 20 even though he's the 50th best player. Absolutely do not do that. This is all relative to where they currently ranked on these platforms. Now ESPN has thrown out exactly zero ranking updates since September the 16th. I'm sure I'll drop this show and then a ranking update will come out. Yahoo did drop a new ranking update today. So these are referencing the new Yahoo ranking updates. If you check my socials, I posted the biggest top 10 movers and falls in terms of ranking position. The ones that are probably the most important there are Isaiah Jackson and Ty Jerome who had big jumps forward. So I've posted those on social as well. This is not in reference to average draft position. It's just purely where the sites are ranking these players. We're using a standard base 12. I know why I call it a base 12. Who am I? A like a mathematician. We're talking about leagues with 12 teams or round 1 is 1 to 12. They're 13 to 24, 25 to 36, etc. etc. I'm not going to talk about a must-draft in round 1 because the guys you draft in round 1 are just who you think the best player available is 1 through 12. I've given my thoughts on that first round 1 billion times. So, so, so. Let's dig in and have a look at must-draft players. Again, I will hunt you down if you don't draft them, but of course I won't because I don't care that much. But what I do care is to tell you in round 2 on Yahoo and on ESPN, these are the guys that I am interested in. Let's start with Yahoo. I know there is pushback on this, but Lamello Ball is ranked at 23. It looks pretty good to me in pre-season, it is pre-season, but the fit with him in anthead woods. Even if I had a marginal concern on it, I don't anymore, and I didn't really. I'm not particularly concerned about his ankles because I would say 50% of the time missed was due to tanking purposes. I think he's going to play more minutes than last season. Pick 23 for Lamello. I like it. He's a very solid middle-second round player to me. At a points format, I think that Josh Gidey is just being underrated. The number, by the way, if you are watching this on the video, I should reference it. The number there is the current pre-rank according to the sites. So, on Yahoo, Lamello Ball sits at number 23, and Josh Gidey is ranked at 19. Remembering Yahoo ranks are format agnostic. They don't reference a particular format. They're just like, "Here's a rank. Do what you will." And we will do what we will. We'll try and interpret it to where it makes sense. So, Josh Gidey at number 19, I am very in on that. I think Josh Gidey can be considered around the turn 13 to 15, around that mark in a Yahoo points lake. So, he being at 19, presents value to me. On ESPN, in round two, Yannis Underdoppompo is sitting at pick number 20. I'm taking Yannis at five, without really any question. So, if you're in any scenario, I'm in round two, and Yannis is there, the easiest decision of my life. Again, I just think that's an egregiously bad oversight ranking. You firmly believe in the value of nine cat ranks, which is very weird considering ESPN's default is eight category. So, obviously I still include these free throws, but the other negative of turnovers is there. Like, just don't pick him at all. Pick him at 40, Y20. It doesn't help anybody. Well, it helps me if I was in an ESPN league, and I'm not, to take him at 20. And then, the other one again is, why is this a thing? Why is Cooper Flag? Cooper Flag, rookie of the year, who is probably going to get better this season, I would hope. Why is he at number 24? I think he's a first round player in an ESPN point league, but they don't. So, we can make do with that, can't we? We can take advantage of that. I think that to me, there's a couple others later, but the round two must drafts ESPN categories and points. Might be just some of the best value you'll ever see. That it's pretty ridiculous at the top end to be able to find 15 spots of value maps for two different players. That's almost unheard of. That will bring us to talk about round three. So, we're talking again, 12 team base, base 12, pick 25 to 36. And while I am, I do have a level of hesitance around this. I think that it's just too far down for Demontos Sabonus for both categories and points on Yahoo. He's 34th rank, obviously, for both because their rankings are the same. I know that Sabonus was not particularly good last season, and by particularly good I mean he was pretty bad. Right? And I'm not a big Sabonus guy, but also this is a horrible team. If they straight away there, guys, sit there, guys, they will be in the relegation zone and they will end up with another terrible draft pick. Now they are a horrible organization, so maybe they don't quite understand the lottery rules. But like a lot of these plays, he played under 30 minutes last season. I'm pretty sure that'll go up. He doesn't have tomatoes, and Russell Westbrook then has shredded jack and shots off him or touches. And yeah, maybe he's traded, but who's taking that contract? 34th just gives you just like so much extra value here, especially in points. I think he's like a mid to late second rounder in points. Categories, I think third round is about right, but there is top 20 upside there. And again, I am not a Sabonus guy at all, but there just becomes times when it goes down too low. And again, to be blatantly clear, I think the Yahoo third round rankings. There's nothing super egregious that stands out as like, well, that's a ridiculous positioning. There's someone who's 20 spots off. So Sabonus is not that far off, especially in categories, but it does strike me as the best one there. Like for reference, the Yahoo third round is starting at your 25th through to 36th, it's Steph Curry. Bam out of bio, Evan Mobley, Tray Murphy, Jalen Brunson, Larry Marken and Chad Hongren, Jalen Durin, Jim Harden, Sabonus, Brandon Miller, and Kawaii Leonard. The Kawaii now has moved down to 36th, which is interesting. I still wouldn't go with Kawaii inside the top 40, but we're getting close to it. So maybe I could have put Kawaii there, but I'm just not willing to do him, Giggity, in that spot. So, what about it on the ESPN? Is it as a greedous as around two? It's close. It's close. Kevin Durant is at 28th. I think it was 10th last season in category leagues. Yeah, look, maybe at age, the million were a little bit worried about health and does he see this dramatic decrease in minutes like the Rockets claim? I just don't believe that Imagodoka does that. I just don't believe it. But it'd have to be a pretty sizeable drop for him to get down to 28. It wouldn't make a lot of sense to me. And then, what are we doing with Jamal Murray at 28? Significantly better than that last season, is the team any better? Not really. Sure, he could get hurt, but so could I. Just sitting here talking to you about this. It's not as outrageous as the round two ones, but if I'm getting these sort of players like I get, Cooper Flag at 24 and I follow it up with Jamal Murray at 28. It's my round two, round three picks, and both guys might be inside the top 14. And I've already stacked a first round or on top of that. My day ends at midday, then my next day starts, so I'm stacking on top. Shout out to that bloke. We'll come back to cover rounds four through to round 10. Today's episode is brought to you by prize picks. Football is heating up in October. And that's when the season really starts to take shape, the weather starts to get colder. for football, not really, but still, it gets colder. I'm not going to sit here and tell you that I'm the best at analysing the NFL. I used to be pretty into it, but I'm not as much anymore. But I still know some stuff. I don't know where to get information. And a guy that I have liked for a while as a player, coming into the NFL, coming from my favourite college team is Arman Ra St Brown, from the Detroit Lions. Reliability, role, PricePix has his receiving yards projection at 77.5. I think going over that, again, taking my opinion with whatever grain of salt you got, is something to keep an eye on. Running a business shouldn't feel like you're trying to connect a bunch of systems that were never designed to work together. One app for accounting, another for inventory, another for sales, and somehow none of them talk to each other. That's where Odo comes in. Odo is an all-in-one business management software that brings every part of your business together in one powerful platform. Sales and accounting inventory marketing, everything works in one place. Odo is one platform to manage, grow, and scale your business. The best organisations know that success isn't just about talent, it's about having everyone working toward the same goal, and that's true in sports. Just like it is in business, we all know this. We all know that in the sport, the MBA is what we talk about on here, that if you've got a trash organisation that tries to out-maneuver players, people, staff within their own organisation, Sacramento Kings, you will have not have success. The times when James Dolan stepped aside and let others run things, look at that, the Knicks had success, and now he's sort of manipulating things a little bit. We'll see where they go. But if you're not in the same direction, it's just not going to work, and that's why Odo brings that software and everything to talk together. So it's all pushing in the one direction. Great organisations, we in because operations matter. And that's why I should get Odo. Try for free today at odo.com/lockdown. That is odo.com/lockdown. Welcome back to the podcast. We're here to talk about must-draft players. Must-draft. You must-draft them. And if you don't draft them, you need to hijack your friends app. Force a fake trade to get these players onto your team. It's the only ethical way. We've done rounds two and three for category leagues, points leagues, Yahoo ESPN. So that would probably mean according to the laws of numbers that we're ready to look at round four. We're going to do that for Yahoo categories, Yahoo points. And of course, follow it up with ESPN categories and ESPN points. And I know what's going to happen here. I know what you're going to say. I know. No way, man. Every time they don't call them day-to-dayvists for nothing, they don't. He's going to kill you. Just the worst heading on my team. One thing I want you to be. I'll tell you three days of some talk about it. One thing I want to be very clear about with so much of this stuff that I talk about. I try not to. Maybe I occasionally slip up, but I try not to bring in narratives based on getting inside of another bloke's head. Giggity. And imagining a scenario that's happening. I don't think that serves anybody any good at all. And shout out to this bloke because if you're going to put your comment in a public forum, I'm probably going to reference it at some point. But there was someone that was talking about AD with me yesterday and he was like, I feel like he just faked all of his injuries last season because he didn't want to be in Dallas and I feel like he'll do the same again in Washington. Okay, so you just invented something out of thin air and use that as the basis of your analysis. There's no reason to believe that that is true. None at all. It's like trying to invent injuries, well, I think that this person doesn't like this person. So he won't pass team. And now this person's going to do this and he's going to sit down because of the it's just you don't know any of this stuff. I don't know any of that stuff. Adding in further complicating factors to any analysis based on not even conjecture, just imagine scenarios. Just makes things complicated and wrong. Now, I think Anthony Davis can be a top 20 player per game. That's probably what he can get to. I am worried that he has a lot of sort of small injuries. Doesn't seem to be particular. Recurrency hasn't had multiple knee surgeries. He's had like a shoulder issue or groin issue. That's annoying, yeah. But a top 20, let's maybe even say top 10 player. I don't think that, but maybe some do at pick 45. Like your level of risk there is pretty much eliminated. If Kauai Leonard pushed a 45, then my element of risk on him is also taken away and I would take him there. When he was in the teens and in the 20s, but I'm not doing it. Anthony Davis at 45, I am. He is currently healthy. He is playing as much as you may or may not believe this and I don't believe in this. The contract, you know, but he is angling for a max contract. So the idea that you fake injuries to sip games doesn't write in it. I don't believe contract ears bring out better performances because I've proven that they don't. But I would say the opposite of like just not playing because you don't want to be there is not going to help you get the big deal. So Anthony Davis sitting at 45, the end of round four, easy to me. Now again, Kauai Leonard might have been a good value in round three, but I wouldn't stack the risk players on top of each other, but still Anthony Davis here, I love. Of course on ESPN we've got two ones that make no sense, Ken Murphy the third at number 46. Value is always relative. Every time it's relative, because I can tell you that like tray Murphy finished 11th in straight nine cat rankings again, Yannis 70th, Murphy 11th. Sure. And I can say that's complete garbage, which that's what we would never, that's absolutely a not realistic, do not consider it, do not over get near it. But why is it 46? Again, it is great that there is diversity of thought in all of sport and in particular fans, because again, I was having a discussion with someone that said, well, part of the reason you don't draft tray Murphy 11 is just the role in stability. Okay, never in a million years that I think there was role in stability for tray Murphy, but some people do. So that and that means that in certain circumstances, players like this fall to this area, because people believe that. I don't, I don't know whether it's true or not, but I don't believe it. So yeah, easy. 46. Wait, I'm all in. If you told me tray Murphy was 20th, I'd be say, having a man like that's cool. You take him at 20. I'm not not going to do it. 46. Easy. Dyson Daniels is at number 48. I just think the pendulum here on Big Dice has just swung a little bit too far. I don't believe that Lou Dort is taking his job. I don't believe that he'll be an 18% three-point shooter, and I also don't believe his two steals became will drop further than that. So Dyson Daniels, even though it is ESPN points, I think he's better than that. I think he can be well ahead of that spot. It's even easier for Dyson. His ADP is 61. I think he's probably like around, sorry, puberty, around three type of player. But clearly that ranking doesn't reflect that thought process, or I won't say reality, because it's not a reality, but that's where I'm at. Round five. Let's go to Yahoo there, and Nikhil Alexander Walker for some reason, now sits at number 58 for Yahoo. 58. Alexander Walker started the process at 54. He's went out to 56, and now the next update's sent him down to 58. He's going in the opposite direction to me. Lars isn't Alexander Walker. It was 35th. Sorry, I've got him projected 30/50 season. He was hiding that, I think, last season. I don't see a meaningful change in his role, to be honest. To me that's free real estate at 58. Again, there is confusion so often about players and value, because yesterday I did my Yahoo points league mock draft. I took Paula Bunkero in round three, and someone said, "That's ridiculous. You overrate him all the time. Why would you possibly take him in round three?" My response was he's never been ranked lower than 30th in Yahoo points leagues the last three seasons, seemed like round three to me. He feels all right, and he's had a top 20 season in there. He's ranked at 51, Paula Bunkero, which for a category league is. I know some of you say it's way too hard. I think it's not terrible. For a point of the league, it's Thevery, man, that's easy, the easiest pick you'll make at pick 51 for Pullabunk Hero. Round six. This is where we cook. ESPN. Sorry, it's round five, what am I talking about? Round five, ESPN, Austin Reaves 50. I'm going to go ahead and say no on that. I'm going to go ahead and say probably, probably finishes a little better than 50. Bro was a top 12 player when LeBron was out last season. LeBron is permanently out in LA. And if Luca does miss some time, I don't know that Austin Reaves makes it to 50 in a lot of drafts. His ADP is 40, which is still giving me your 20 plus spots of value anyway. I just, easy and brand of Miller sits at 60, the absolute back end of round five and that's for an ESPN points league. Now, I don't value him quite as highly in an ESPN points league as I do as a category league, but around 50 he should, that's where he should be. The big Ariola con Canippal, Kobe White, probably missing the start of the season as well. Yeah, look, he might shoot poorly, we understand that, but he's going to have incredible volume, big minutes, improved playmaking responsibilities as well. Would be my guess about what happens with Brandon Miller. This season in 60 just, it feels just way off, way off. Now we can do round six and is this just the Dyson Danielsha? It feels like it might be because it's too low. He's at 62 on the old Yahoo 62 and I can't, I can't really understand it. He was a greediously positioned last season. Is this just a reaction to being placed too high last season and people saying, well, I killed me in round two when he should never have been drafted there? Is that what happened? 'Cause I don't really get this. I think round four is a perfectly reasonable spot to consider Dyson Daniels for this upcoming season, but like 62 for Yahoo categories and points where we're good with that, that's tremendous. ESPN points, round six. Once again, the nine cap floppers will come out on this one and they will tell me that Jalen Brown at 62, it's actually two eye Josh, like he's going to be in the hundreds. And I'll tell you, probably not. That doesn't seem about right to me. Because once again, the nine cap rankings are very strange. They're very weird. They're incorrectly used and positioned in category formats. Jalen's at 62 on ESPN. I, in the 40s, I'm very happy to do that. I am anti-Chet Honggren. For Yahoo points, I talked about this on the Yahoo points bust show two days ago. He's positioned at the wrong spot. On ESPN, they've said, bet Josh, I got you. I understand, I understand. 71, they'll put him in. I'll go, maybe settle down a bit because that is, that is going in the wrong direction. Why is Chet Honggren down at 71 for ESPN points leagues? Should be a top 50 player, pretty comfortably. 71 is overindexing on whatever Chet hate you seem to have. If I'm in an ESPN category league and I'm sitting in round six and Jalen's there, easy, and if Chet's there, like even easier. We may be stealing 15 to 20 spots of value on every one of these players that I mentioned here for round six. And that means we've got 7, 8, 9, and 10 to come. Please, episode is brought to you by Banger. Welcome to your most rewarding NFL season ever-only on Banger. How rewarding are we talking? More rewarding than a touchdown with time expiring, more rewarding than an 18 point comeback, maybe even more rewarding than the fact that the NBA is back in two weeks. We don't have to hear about NFL as much. That's pretty rewarding. This season, Fangil is making the excitement go beyond. What happens on the field with the all new Fangil rewards club featuring exclusive offers, surprises, and more? Every week, checking in on the Fangil app to see what's waiting for you. You watch football. It's a big chess match. We've blocked Banger heads together. But there's still rewards in it. Because you follow your team, you follow the big moments, the big plays, the crescendo of energy. The explosion of release. That might be your reward. From the Fangil rewards club. Well, that's different because you open the app and they've got the reward in there, but your reward of watching your team the big moments. That's why we all watch sports. So make this your most rewarding season ever with Fangil. Because at Fangil.com to get started. And don't forget, as I cough, together responsibly. We're talking, must-draft players. The guys that your family will disown you for if you do not select them in your fantasy draft. And that's a pretty big deal, honestly. That's a pretty big deal. So that's why I want you guys to be paying attention, liking and subscribing, of course. And, you know, just generally, I got a Josh Floyd fantasy comm slash shop for merch and Josh Floyd fantasy comm slash bowl for the JLFB bowl draft results. If you want to see those. Plus, there's some research papers that have published over there too. Let's look at round seven for. What is it? Yeah, must-draft players completely forgot what I was doing. Again, I know that people will have this concern with Paul George, Ace Trash. They do just use him as a 3-in-D player, will they? So they want to lose games, do they? Cause Paul George is still good. He is still good. Irrespective of what you think of him, he is still good. Honestly, literally just watch the playoffs last season. And you'll see that he is still good. Yeah, he will probably miss time. But at pick 76, could I be getting 50 spots of value? It is possible. I don't know that you are, but you might. And even last season, he was like 30 spots better than this on a team within Beat and Maxi. I'm all right with Paul at that spot. I'm very happy with it, actually. And me, self-proclaimed Steph Castle Hayder number one believes that Steph Castle is a must-draft player in round seven for points leagues. Yahoo, he's got him at 77. Now again, it depends on how switched on your league is. Because it's obvious to most people. No, that's not true. To some people, it is relatively obvious that Steph Castle at this spot is trying to split the gap between a category value and a points value. So you take advantage of it. Could he be a top 55 points league player? Yeah, maybe. I feel good that he's going to be better than 77. He's a question for you. I know there's a lot of love for Castle around. There's a lot of love, Dylan Harper around. Who do you think is the better player right now, for the spurs? Not fantasy, just real life. Who do you think is the better player right now, Castle Harper? And who will be by the end of the season? I know my answer is, but I want to hear what your answer is. Drop that in the comments. Let's go to ESPN. And this is again, like Polar Bunkero has ranked at 75 in category leagues. It is something that people will say that Polar Bunkero loses your league, absolutely trash, wave away a player for category leagues. I have heard that comment. It is wrong, but I've heard it. Straight nine cat rankings had him 125th last season. Sick, I don't really care. Durant had to head in 58th. You coach, hopefully with some creativity, and hopefully it's a coach that he doesn't hate. I wouldn't drive him in the top 50 for categories, but I'm definitely taking before 75. And then the other ESPN one here for round seven is Mutters Boussellus who sits at number 76. And I just, I don't, I don't get that. I think he's a top 50 category and points option this season. It's year three. I think he's going to be featured. He's more polished than what Caleb Wilson is at this point. I'm pretty big on Boussellus for this upcoming season. And I just think that like it, it's very hard. I think to go wrong at that spot. Just as an aside, Boussellus also has copped the Yahoo rank update. He started at like 86. He went to 80. He went to 69 and now he's gone to 64. Still not far enough to me, but 64 is getting to that spot where if you've got any element of doubt on him, that it starts to get a little bit more risky. But at 76, we're okay with that. I think that's pretty easy stuff. Should we do round eight? We probably should have comes next. Let's talk about some round eight must draft players categories points. We'll go to Yahoo first. Jaden McDaniel sits at number 92. Yes. I know that they have a full season of Iodasumu. I know that they have the addition of the bucket John Kamehka, but they also have no Nasrid and Julius Randall. McDonald's isn't always the greatest contributor, but last season he was like 84th. And I think he's probably got another step in him this season. So 92 just, it feels just like where, where is that downside? And then milk Jerome. I find him very tough to figure out and the Grizzlies in general tough to figure out, but in the two preseason games they've played, he started both. So I think we can lock him in as a starter. And he said 30 usage. I did not think they'd run him 30 usage again. I don't think Ty Jerome is necessarily that player, but they seem to think it is for whatever reason. And you shot 50% from the field so far in preseason. on 32 usage. Okay, it's only been 17 minutes a game and maybe that's the hold up. They still only play him 24 minutes in the eSlow rotation package. But at 88, look, he was out to 120 at one point. So they're heavily hard corrected on this, but I'm not even sure it's gone far enough to be honest. I still think there's value here. Not as much value as there is on ESPN for round eight category leagues with Keontay George at 89. I'm gonna guess that they're just sitting there thinking, well, last year was a complete fluke and he's just gonna go back to being bad. Are they overindexing on Darren Peterson and how good they think he is gonna be? Like, I get it, but rookie guards a bad, usually bad efficiency. Peterson has some. At times, athletic limitations too. It's just strange to me that Keontay would sit all the way there at number 80, 89. Like, I don't really understand why he's so low. And then there's a manual quickly for ESPN points leagues. Now, I'm not as high on quickly as others can be. I like him as a player. The addition of koai is a little scary. Just in terms of ball out of hand, but we can get 15 spots here, I would say. I think we can get 15 spots, I like him. Emmanuel quickly at number 91, round eight, ESPN. Round nine. I could have done Christian James McCullum for both categories and points over on Yahoo, but I'm not. For categories, I always take Isaiah Height and Stein at number 104. Yeah, he was injured a lot last season, but early in the year when Chek was injured, like he was top 40, he's still really good. And I know a day, Mara has looked really good in pre-season. I'm not gonna focus on that too much. There was no Heart and Stein, no Chek. As Sorba was out also, it's great that Mara looked that good in those numbers. It's not impacting Chek and Heart and Stein's role. Heart and Stein doesn't work on every team. He's a really low scorer, but he can help plenty of fantasy squads. And then again, CJ McCullum at 106, I am not a CJ McCullum guy. I haven't really ever been until this season. 106, can you snag 20 spots of value out of it? You probably can. It's getting a bit of a joke on ESPN at the moment 'cause Ryan Rollins is 105, so in category leagues, could you get 50 spots of value there? Probably, for ESPN points leagues, Paul George is at 108. Like look, what are we actually doing? That is beyond free real estate. Paul George is not as good in a points league in the category league, but he's, I feel pretty good. He's not gonna be outside the top 100. I feel pretty good about saying that, like with a high degree of confidence. I'm gonna move to the round 10. We're not gonna do rounds 11 or 12 or anything like that. That's real flyer zone sort of stuff. And even this one's getting a little sort of debatable. But in round 10, Yo, who's got Peyton Watson at number 120? I think that that's okay. It's, is it a must-raft? Well, it is, I guess, just because of the nature of what I've called this show. But getting him around that area with some upside, lose one player to injury, heart and mobility or Mitchell. He's usually to Will rise, lose Alan, his blocks probably rise. I think there's just a lot of safety in that pick of Watson, as well as many, many paths to upside. And the last thing we wanna talk about here is ESPN. And ESPN values and we'll just finish it with Zach Edie. And I know there's risks in Zach Edie. I know that he barely played last season. I know that he's a big man with a foot ankle problem, but he's at one 13 in categories, one 16 in points leagues, you can't go wrong on that. You just, you can't go wrong on that. We're talking top 50 upside, probably for both formats. And that, that is, you wanna talk real league winners? That is what wins your league. A player taking outside the top 100 Ryan Rollins, Paul George, Zach Edie, who returns top 50 numbers. We don't know whether he'll get hurt or not. We don't, we don't know that. He was incredibly healthy through his college career. Last season was an absolute right off, clearly. But that's happened for many players. And then it doesn't always stay that way. Edie's rookie season, he played 66 games. We get 66 out of him, 26 minutes of night. Well, that's one of the biggest smashes you will see. And now, I'm gonna smash the end of the show, like Stinger that comes across because we're done. That's a must-draft show. Take it for what it is. A show just me telling you each round, guys that I like for each format. The big four, Yahoo points, ESPN points, Yahoo categories, ESPN categories using their current ranks as of October the 8th, which is the most recent date of Yahoo updates. Thumb up the video, go check out my team previews, my mock drafts, the next mock draft will probably be an ESPN points mock draft. I am, I am deliberate, and maybe I shouldn't. Maybe I should just feed the algorithm because people want, they love watching mock drafts, the numbers go up. But I think there is a diminishing return in viability or useability on mock drafts. 'Cause I could just talk about them. It's the same thing I say over and over again. And like we say all the time, a mock draft changes as soon as something happens weirdly. And I don't know if people like to say, well, can you do it? I'm picking it 10. Can you do a mock draft to pick 10? Guarantee you what happens in my mock draft won't be what happens in yours. So using my mock draft as a template means you will almost certainly leave value on the table because something different will happen in yours and there would be a player available that I would have taken that I didn't in mine, but I would have in yours. I try to give commentary on every single player during a mock draft and that's why, if I just repeat mock draft day after day, I'll be giving the same commentary on players every time. So even if I'm picking a pick six or pick 12 or pick two in a mock draft, you can see what I've done with those picks. But I try to give a commentary on every single player in every mock draft. So you get an idea of, well, if I think it's too high, too low about right. So then you can extrapolate that to whatever's happening in your league. Guys, we are done here. Thank you so much for listening, everyone. See ya. (upbeat music) (upbeat music)
