My name is Daniel Dopp. Very excited to bring a Thursday episode week to preview part one, my friends. Diving into a bunch of the games today, we got a lot on tap. A first and foremost guys, also a Thursday night football game. How are you doing? I'm great. I'm actually curious what you're doing. We had this conversation I think after the show yesterday. Yes. About whether you enjoy when you're a beloved team, please on Thursday night football, or if you prefer for them to play on Sunday. You did, yeah. Yes, I do not like Thursday night football. Not because the quality of football isn't great, but because I wait all week for that Sunday ritual of football. There is a ritual for me of watching my team on Sundays. The only time I'm okay breaking that is Monday night football when the entire country wants to watch the game. There, okay. So that's where I'm at on this one. However, that means I get to watch all the games equally on Sundays without the lines because that's nice. Yeah, and you know, you could pull off a pretty big upset tonight if they go into the new bill stadium. That's true. That'll be a trivia answer for a long time. Yeah. That's the first game in the new bill stadium. Ah, true. That's a mixture of lines. Haven't the bills like one more games and met life stadium than the jets have in like the last two years or something. Isn't there some ridiculous like, you know, the main check out. That's a great one. I'm probably wrong in that one. But interesting. Yeah. I actually enjoy watching all standalone games. I would have thought that you'd prefer to have them stand alone tonight because of the ability to watch all games for equally comes Sunday. But I cannot wait for this one tonight. It is going to be fun. We'll talk about my hands and bills in just a moment. We have some news though. There you go. All right. I'm off to a slow start. But that happened last year too. And it ended well. So we're not going to talk much about the focus. Show league week to week, but I will just note that I think I scored the second most point in the league this week for you and lost to Liz by 40. Liz absolutely dominated my team put up 155. And she put up 195. That's unreal. So Liz officially the team to beat. She crushed me in the countdown league as well. Fantasy focus countdown. Yeah, she's pretty good at coming up Liz right now. You know, well, it's as good a football, but may not be available here in week two. Nico Collins guys we found out today may be missing here in week two, banged up hurt his hamstring injury and Wednesday's practice. I think it sounds safe to say that if you have Nico Collins, you should probably consider making other plans just for this week, although it sounds like they avoided potentially long term injury. Yeah. So this is a good news bad news, right? Like you see a player get added to the injury reports because of an injury that took place during practice and you immediately think to yourself. Am I going to be without my wide receiver one or two for a month or could he play this upcoming weekend? It sounds like probably not this weekend, but not a major injury hamstrings for wide receivers make you a little bit nervous here. The reason why I wanted to address this is I suppose there are players you could be making a decision upon tonight going into Thursday night in the fall for Nico Collins. But more importantly is do we see anybody not named Nico Collins, and of course you can Higgins that would be worth adding off of waivers right now that could potentially impact a league is deep. Excuse me, a shallow is 10 teams. Yeah. So I don't think we're going to have anyone ranked as a good flex option. The problem is they're going to rotate. I think four guys through a wide receiver. You look at the routes from last week, 33 for Nico. He was first Xavier Hutchinson 28 K Sean booty 23 Jalen, no 12 Jared Wayne who will be mixed in as well. Maybe a good Rahim Sanders pick there on the toe to bowl. Although Xavier Hutchinson still under 1% as well. He was at six. So I think all four guys will be involved in this one. If I had to choose, I'd probably pick the explosive playmaker. K Sean booty. You know, maybe a hit for a long play. But otherwise I'm probably going to avoid but the good news is they have respectable depth here. So they can hold down the forward for a week. All right. So the Texans to play the bangles. There's also some news on the bangles side deal, which is the quarterback Joe burrow. Yeah, dealing with some back soreness, unfortunately, trying to carry the bangles in week one. And I heard him here in this one. Actually, they're defense. The defense did. Yeah. Yeah. We're going to keep an eye on that one. Obviously to see what's going to happen here expects to play Sunday at Houston. But I'll tell you what we already had him way down our rankings to begin with because of this matchup. If I feel like he's banged up going into it. I'm probably just going to remove Joe burrow altogether. Maybe not from my rankings. He would probably be like a low 20s guy. Yeah. But I would say for now, like if you have Joe burrows, you're normal starter. And you haven't already added a backup unit back. Yes. Because of the matchup, which I know Josh Allen did not make it look like a tough matchup. But we still believe it's a very tough matchup. Yeah, we have burrow. And this health status, let's, let's make a plan here, whether it's a Bryce young off of waivers, maybe a Daniel Jones, maybe, you know, whoever Jared golf playing tonight. Like these are some names to consider. If you have Joe burrow as not just your starter, but your only quarterback on the roster on top of that. If Joe is out, we'll talk more tomorrow, which he won't be, but he expects to play. We'll talk just in general more tomorrow about these wide receivers and what their forecast is for the upcoming weekend. Yeah. Agreed. Joe Flacco, you know, as far as backups go, fuck it. Yeah. Not worried about more worried about Nico, but we'll keep an eye on this one. Congratulations on being 0 for 1 in properly pronouncing Joe Flacco's last name. Would you have that Baker Mayfield right now on week two or Joe burrow? Yeah, we, again, we already had burrow as a sit. So this makes it easier. Yeah. Makes it, makes it an easier sit than already was. Okay. Got it. All right. Let's talk about Thursday night football, my friends, bills and lions. This is going to be a really fun one here. lineup blocks in this one include basically everybody. Holy smokes a full page. Challenging your Gibbs, James Cook, Amman Ross, St. Brown, DJ Moore, Jameson Williams, Sam Laporta. All of them are lineup blocks on this one. That is looking fantasy team, right? Exactly. That's a whole team right. Seriously. That is a squad in and of itself. So who are we really making conversations about in this one? I guess we're probably looking at Dalton, Concade with what he did in week one. Mike, how you feel? What do you have his projection after? Cause we've seen Dalton, Concade do this before. We've seen the pockets of the big games. I think he's startable for sure. He's a borderline tight on one at this point. I drew, I know you talked about this a little bit yesterday, but in impressive week one 130 yards on six targets, we've seen that before from him last year. He had 14 plus fantasy points six times, but he was had a ton of duds as well. You know, he's just been all over the map. The reason playing time. But here's a few numbers for you. He played 77% of the offensive snaps last year. He was at 39%. He was on the field for 71% of their past plays. Actually, his route participation was 71%. So we're not even counting plays where he passed blocked. That's up from 47% last season. Both of those numbers in the 70s were his highest since midway through 2024. It's been a long time. So that was a big change for Dalton, Concade last week. That gives me a lot of hope that he can jump into the mid range tight on one conversation. And had the lines do against the Saints tight ends last week, Daniel, Michael, not good 737 and two touchdowns. No, a fan got in on the action as well. Yes, he did. So good spot here for Concade. If I scoop them up off waivers or I drafted him, I would certainly consider strongly streaming him this week. And that's like the micro story, right is like we need Dalton, Concade to live up to what he showed in week one. Let's talk more macro right now guys. Let's talk about the important thing here tonight is that we are how many hours less than just about 10 hours away from kickoff. Yes. And what we are. I think is on paper. The fantasy, friendliest game in this incredibly early season. We're what 16 games into the NFL year. We need you guys live up to the height. All right, I need Josh Allen, 30 burger tonight. I need Jerry golf, four touchdown passes, Jameer Gibbs, just do what you do normally. And you'll be just fine. JMO, no egg this week. There's no bagel. All right, we need a big day here from James and Williams. We need Sam Laporte to find the end zone tonight. I need 70 points scored in real life between these two teams. That is what tonight's game is all about. I feel like what you need is what happened last time. I think we even have a full screen of what it looked like the last time these two teams played. It was 40 to 42 guys. Okay. So that's a lot of way. I mean 90 Jared golf, 494 and five touchdowns. I'm on Ross St. Brown. 14 catches for 193 yards and a touchdown. Laporta, seven for 111. Not too much to ask, Sammy. JMO had three for 37 and a touchdown. Josh Allen, 363 two passing touchdowns plus 68 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns. All right, so doing some quick math there. That's 6.8. That's over 40 points on that. Both him and golf had over 40 points. No big deal. James Cook had 105 yards and two rushing touchdowns in this one. Oh, Ty Johnson five just for 114 years. Don't remind me. All right. So we need this. This is exactly what we are hoping for is the last time they played as this game right here. He only won 70 though. He hates offense. I want I want 70 in the first half is what I go. But I'm asking where I'm not trying to be guilty greedy here. I just want we need a fantasy bananza, right? Yes, Dalton Kade. I can get I agree. Like I'm glad Mike brought up. It's the only conversation. But everything else. Yes, give me points. All right, which means we're trending towards a 13 to 10 grind it out victory. We're talking about somehow. I'm out there. All right, set your goals and an extra point to So much energy here. Now I'm like, do I start arcade or Tyler or Warren? Like it's now, now I just want to start. Now I want it more pieces. - There's so much hype around it. - There's, I want it all. Guys in the new stadium, first game in this new stadium for the Buffalo Bills. Who are you taking to win this one? - I'm taking it to Buffalo Bills at home. - Sorry Daniel. - Sorry Daniel. - I'm going Bills by two. - I think that's what you guys have to do. I think that's the appropriate pick. - Yeah. - That's where do you pick the Lions now? - I'm actually taking the Detroit Lions to win. Well listen, someone's got to be the bad guy. - Like if you don't ride for your team, it's a point to be in the game. - Exactly. - They could be 0 and 9. - I would still be able to take Detroit. - Absolutely. - I think these are maybe two top five teams in the NFL too. So I certainly once the Lions defense gets healthier. These are two power house teams. - All right, let's dive into our week two preview. Part one here. We got a bunch of games dive into my friends. We're going to start with the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Denver Broncos. - Let's do it. - That's a fun one. - How many line-up locks do we have in this one? Jalen Wattles. - Jalen Wattles still line-up lock after what happened in week one. - Yeah. - Let's just talk about this. - It's got to miss the show on time Tuesday. And you guys gave some of this energy. So let me just reiterate it. Actually, you read the full line-up locks and I'll talk about Jalen Wattles. - Jalen Wattles, wide receiver 23. Cortland Sutton, wide receiver 31. And Parker Washington, obviously in the other side, definitely a line-up lock at wide receiver 27 for our consensus rankings. Feel, go ahead and take the stage. - All right, so one game is not enough for us to feel like the Broncos have like illegitimate plans for Jalen Wattles within their office. - Because they are going to get him going because they traded the first round pick for him. Like it needs to happen. And if for some reason it doesn't, then I will readjust my stance and be like this was an absolutely ridiculous move to make for a roster that was so good that the value you were getting in a first round pick to address one of your other minor needs. 'Cause I wouldn't say that wide receiver was like this. Absolutely game-changing need for Denver. A wide receiver one who could stretch the field if you actually threw them the ball down the field will be useful. But bonics, no more. Can't be playing like the bonics we saw too often last year. Like when the night was forgettable of the highest order. There were a couple of year three quarterbacks that really did not, you know, Drake May, Jayden Daniels, bonics. More questions and answers after week one for those three guys, Caleb Williams, you're good. We need it though. Jalen Wattles is going to be a factor for this Denver Broncos offense. It starts on Sunday. It isn't, I think this Jaguar's defense is pretty legit, but that chief's defense just had so many more answers schematically than I think most defenses will present for the Broncos. I think Jalen Wattles gets on track. Yeah, I'm weirdly not worried about this. Unless you really think that Davis Webb can't call a game and it's just going to blow up. But if that keeps happening, they'll make up the champagne. So I'm just not worried. I mean, think about last year, I mean, Corlan's son in the last two years has been terrific with bonics. Also, your guy, Troy Franklin was pretty relevant. Yeah, he was a big chunk of last season. I mean, I'm just not really sweating this one at all. I haven't really moved the needle on Wattled. They're going to get him involved to your point. Bonix is good enough to get him the ball. It was a really tough matchup. It was in Kansas City against a division rival. That game was a disaster. They're going to get back on track soon and perhaps this week at home. Maybe you guys have never met anyone that's played fantasy football before, but sometimes week one over reactions cause you to think about things that you would normally not do. And three targets, one catch for two yards from Jalen Wattles. There's a bad drop there too. What at least feel like emotionally like, did I just get this wrong? Did we all over think this? I'm not disagreeing with you guys. I'm just saying that I think that's a bigger question than you're letting on because people are like so rude on screen. That's so mean. By the way, two things. First of all, this isn't like Marvin Harris and Junior coming into the NFL. We've seen Wattled play for a long time. He's a very good player. He's very good. We know that for sure. And the other part is something I'm forgetting. I'll tell you what you're forgetting. I'll just take it from you, Mike. Have you guys seen this tweet? I got to be honest with you. The joke is made like once a week on fantasy Twitter. It still makes me laugh or someone will start with like a leading headline. Like Marvin Harris and Junior is a baller. Here are the only wide receivers I'm starting over him in week two. And because Twitter now allows you to use as many characters as you want. It goes through like 50 receivers. And then the bottom, I saw this on Twitter. I forget it was and it was like the last one was Xavier worthy or something or Kaleo Shakira. And it was like, that's it. That's fun. 51 guys. And that's the content. That's so good. I know in Waddle that the Broncos have to get it going with Jalen Waddle. I hope that this is one of those funky week one things that we look back on. And you believe the Broncos got gobsmacked by the chiefs 31 to 10 a Monday night football in week one. One note from the Broncos that we can talk about more further. If we need to tomorrow, RJ Harvey was a non-participant in an estimated practice report on Wednesday. So we have our antenna up a little bit more about one of the Broncos running back. How does just last thing. And then we'll talk about Jaguars. How it does Clay, I take into effect that Sean Payton's wife drafted Jalen Waddle. And how about that? He needs to get involved in week two, like why Sean Payton sleeping on the couch, slightly higher target share project because of that. It does bump it up a little bit. A call on extra player too. Okay. Or David. And you believe that though? That's pretty cool. You tell your, I mean, it's great. It's awesome. But it's like, you tell your wife to draft this guy. And then that's not good. That's not good. By the way, speaking of looking back and being like, oh, do you remember when that happened? Most of all, like, remember last year when we went off as a pastor too, but also the Patriots lost to the Raiders. And that is accurate. But I tweeted right after the charges last hour, his own, I was like, the charges are definitely going to the Super Bowl now. Right? Like they're definitely. So we go look back at that. Be like, remember when they lost to the class on week one? You should take the box and the Super Bowl. If the Chargers make it. I agree. Chargers Rams. I mean, yes. We go at the LA Stadium. Tough commute. Mike, what's going on with the Jaguars running back to? Do you see enough in week one, either way to have one of them projected as a startable option here? So I actually looked, remember we talked about this Monday a little bit and we were like, we saw a lot of Chris Rodriguez early and it seemed like maybe he was the lead back, but I looked at actually, like, play by play through and that was actually not the case. But he's all too and was plenty involved. He was on the field a lot. So it was, it was more even early on and then to kind of took control in the second half. So I don't think it was an element of kind of protecting lead back Chris Rodriguez. I think too and is there a lead back, but they didn't use four running backs, you know? Yeah. LaQuint Allen and the mirror. Yeah, they combined for six maps, but it's clear they're going to use those guys in some sort of capacity. They're going to get a series here and there. Obviously it's passing situations, but they did six snaps for them to play 27, 23 for Rodriguez. But again, tune at a nice edge and carries 15 to six and it was pretty even in route. So I would like to see more to in route. So it's nine for him. Ten route for Rodriguez. They combined for one target. That has to increase for two and if he's going to be a serviceable RB two tune did play well. He'd 88 yards on 16 touches in this game and now goes up against the Denver Broncos. Yes, they were crushed by Ken Walker. I get it, but you know, remember early last season the Broncos were crushed by a Marion Hampton and Jonathan Taylor. They two awful games against them. Yeah. They like the fewest fantasy points they're running backs last season, even with those games included. So this is still a very tough defense are going on the road here. I'm a little low on two in this week. I'm an RB 31. So I think he's not the greatest flex option, but there was enough there in week one that there's hope that he can get into that conversation and neutral matchups moving forward. I mean, Dele, you don't have to play either of these or you just have better options available to you right now. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And Chris Friday goes. I mean, he only had six touches in that game. It wasn't much. You know, he's still going to be there. A little bit of a throw away for the Jaguars backfield though. Maybe just a little bit, maybe, but again, you might think that they would lean more on Rodriguez in a situation like that. So I don't when they're ahead like that seems like what he was there for. So I don't know. Maybe they they're also telling us to use the guy, but for now, tough matchup, I'm going to avoid this one. I'm picking the Broncos. I'm picking the Broncos, picking the Jaguar, sorry, I'm also taking the Jaguars in this one. Would you have picked if this game is week one, would you have picked the Jags, you think? I would have picked the Broncos, probably. Yeah. So you're kind of moving the needle a little bit. A little bit. That's fair. I mean, I could totally see the Jaguars must win for the Broncos. Who do they play in week three? It's Sardo and two. I don't know. Who is it? Rams. Oh, God. Oh, and three is Rams. Might have a must win themselves on Monday night against the Jemen. We'll talk about the next really exciting game on the Slate Steelers Patriots. That's a fun one, a lot of line locks in this one. Okay. Andre Stevenson and us, the fantasy focus countdown show. That's right. A reminder or a note, perhaps the Travion Henderson is now back practicing in full for the Patriots. So Remondre, if there was no Travian, might be ranked a few spots higher than RB20. We'll see how much Travian's role impacts or his presence impacts Remondre's role. Those are two big, long names to pronounce. They are. Remondre Stevenson and Travian Henderson, the third guy is Corey Keneer, like different. That's different. Oh, next. Corey Keneer. Corey Keneer. Big story here, obviously, and everyone knows this. AJ Brown going to miss a number of weeks placed in IR. We don't have Drake May listed as a lineup block for this one. And we're calling him not a lineup block. We just call him Drake May, not Drake Drake May. Exactly. Drake Drake may be to this week without AJ Brown. I'm more offence, Mike, how do you have the receiving core kind of breaking out with your projection? This is, I mean, this is my, oh, it is, oh, yeah, you wanted the receivers. Yeah. I've had a fire move here. So I just wanted to pass along some numbers from last week. Let's note a couple of things. I'll give you the data in a moment. But let's note that how a team handles an injury within a game does not always forecast how they'll handle an injury when they've known about it for a full 10 days. Like the Patriots will have by Sunday with the AJ Brown injury. I'm also going to alert that it's supposed to be nasty weather here on Sunday in New England. We'll see whether that rain hits Gillette stadium or to come on fantasy focus countdown. But in those, there were 20 passing dropbacks after AJ Brown got hurt. He got hurt about a minute and a half into the third quarter. They had 20. up-sequent dropbacks of those 20 Mac Hollins and Romeo dobs were on the field for all 20 dropbacks. Remondor Stevenson, I'm sorry, Demario Douglas, pop Douglas was on the field for 19 of them. So lots of free receiver sets. Remondor Stevenson, 18 routes run, Hunter Henry ran 14 routes of those 20 dropbacks and then Lynn Larison had one route good enough for one target as well. So I think that when the Patriots line up in three wide receiver sets this upcoming weekend, it's going to be Mac Hollins, Romeo dobs and pop Douglas on the field. A ton. Romeo dobs, I know that his talk is about as low as it could be after week one for a guy that's signed a massive contract. This is the opportunity to make good on it, right? Just is. Like, Romeo dobs got a lot of money this offseason from the Patriots before AJ Brown was traded there because they felt like they got an upgrade on Stefan Diggs. If Stefan Diggs was still there with the Patriots right now and AJ Brown was out. We'd be saying is this guy a top 15 wide receiver in fantasy for week two. So this is Romeo dobs time to shine. He better shine or else that contract could start to age poorly in a hurry. But as of right now, I ranked the Patriots wide receivers as Romeo dobs in my flex spot. Mac Hollins and Demario Douglas would only be deeper lead consideration. I would agree with that. I hope they, you know what? Go ahead. Say my thought for later. I want to see I want to see one more. I know you're going to see one more wide receiver involved. I'm going to say that for the end of the show. What do you want to say? I'm Pat fire. Oh yeah. Pat Fryer Mooth. Yeah, I felt good about his usage last week. I think that this is a guy who after his first year, we thought might be a regular mid to back end tight and one for a long time. It obviously did not work great in the Arthur Smith offense. But maybe he's back in that conversation now. Remember, John Smith was their last year. He's not there anymore. Five for 46 and a touchdown last week on five targets. It was his best fantasy game since he had 28.1 points in week seven last season. That was the only game with 12 points last year. Wow season. But the difference very much like Dalton Concade is playing time last year. His route participation was 54%. This year and week one 72%. Big change. That's a big number for a tight end. That means you're not just out there. Again, blocking. You're running route. So big change for Fryer Mooth gives me some inspiration. You can get back into that. At least the streaming conversation. There's a lot of names in that area, but feeling pretty good about that. You're seeing a slightly different route number on the screen. Some people categorize them a little differently. But I'm at 72%. The screen is 81%. I like our numbers better. Wondering if you guys are buying into narrative straight it all here for Pat Fryer Mooth. Not really with the narrative. I mean, not. Yeah. Mike, you're basically a Massachusetts guy. Now you need to know these things. Pat Fryer Mooth played his high school football at the Brook School in North. The end of our Massachusetts. Okay. He is considered by almost everybody. The second you can say the second best athlete from the Brook School in Massachusetts. Obviously behind shape and Duke. Yes. You got it. Okay. Everyone knows. Everyone knows. I know. I know. Narrative street in play here. Patriots are winning this game, by the way. Yes. The Patriots are winning this. Yeah. I have the Patriots as well. This is. Second time I've said that. Must win. Well, the producers go with the Steelers. Chris is a Steelers fan. Oh, that's right. She's doing the right thing. I asked. Okay. It's a must win for the Patriots. Jaguars and Bills on the road after this. So yes. Oh boy. All right. Let's talk about this next one. Browns and Bucks. This one's not very fun to be honest. There's really only one conversation really to talk about with this game. Are you going to take a phone call? We're going to throw it up there. Yeah. My wife Rosie is texting me right now. You're not interested in the strong thoughts on Pat Fryer. With the deal. Browns and Bucky Niers line up locks. You got a lot of them. And by a lot, we mean two. Bucky Irving and a Mecca Ibuka. I don't see anyone from the Browns up there. Probably. Can you argue with that? I know what? Until Dishon Watson stops being the quarterback. Are we going to have a line up lock? Can you imagine? Can you imagine say a good quarterback like Baker Mayfield or something? Oh, wait. He's on the other team in this game. Ken Zampezi had some thoughts on that. I think it's actually news that we drafted Harold Fanon as like tight end five or six. And we really legitimately don't want to play him in week two. I think he will. He will get there. But he'll be okay. Yeah. But right now. So I did not mean that. Okay. Yeah. For the Browns, like this feels like one where the upside is low enough across the board, absent garbage time. But you can just stay away until further notice. Yeah. Which might be week three when they return home. And perhaps they have a new starting quarterback. The question, if there is really a question here is, is Bucky Irving just ready to smash once again? Let's talk through some of the numbers here on Bucky in week one, the things that we liked average, excuse me, score 20.3 fantasy points, which is a lot of points. And he was still only RB 12 for the week. Good week for running backs in week one for NFL offenses. Yes, it was. But importantly for Bucky Irving, and we did not expect this to be the case. It's a Bucky Irving had seven targets on just 21 routes in week one. So he had a target on a third of his routes. His seven catches ties his previous career high. It was the second most catches for any running back at all of week one. I think maybe. Yes. Someone had eight. Oh, it was, uh, was it, uh, HN? No, uh, no, Travis HN. Yeah. He had eight targets and eight nine targets might have been HN. But bottom line is it was excellent on the receiving front there for Bucky Irving. He had 93 total scrimmage yards. And of course, with Bucky Irving playing a lot as a receiver. It meant very little for Kenneth Gamewell, who had one target on 13 routes. So 61.5% snapshare for Bucky Irving is a good number, not some dominant number. But it was very efficient and very involved in those naps. Travis HN did have seven catches seven out of nine. Yeah, he had nine because that game went to overtime against your lines. As you know, he's very busy. You're both going to kick yourself. Did you mirror Gibbs have like, he catches for John Robbins? Um, I would trade you David Montgomery for AJ Brown. Don't get me started there. I consider that. Um, so if you won your week one matchup that obviously makes you lean a little more towards hold. This is like a little bit of a nuanced question, right? So hold to me comes under these circumstances independent of your week one results. If you like your roster, as it stands going into week two, generally going to hold unless someone makes you an offer that you're like, why on earth would this person do this? Yeah. Right? Like, I was going to throw a name out there. Nothing. This guy was great in week one. But if somebody offered you T Higgins or Lad McConkey right now, those are guys who are being drafted somewhere between like wide receiver 13 and 16 range coming into the season, would either of you take T Higgins or Lad McConkey for AJ Brown right now? Yeah, I would take Lad. Okay. So give me a, I can't give you a real hypothetical trade offer that I got. Like you got one. Okay. So I have Jonathan Taylor. Is it hypothetical if it's a real trade offer? Oh, yeah. Yes. It's a good point. No, this is a real real high hypothetical. Yeah. All I was in the past and has been since, uh, okay. I already made a decision on it. I have Jonathan Taylor. Yep. The person at AJ Brown offered me AJ Brown and you're ready for this. I'm marrying Hampton for your Jonathan Taylor. I'm assuming you said no. I said no. Yeah. Yeah. That's a good one though. Yeah. I want to, I mean, I won Taylor the next six weeks over Hampton. I'm, it might work out where I don't know. Taylor only outscores Hampton by let's just say 50 points and AJ Brown comes back and is a wide receiver one. And maybe it would have worked out, but I'm just not going to mess with that. That's a, that's a healthy offer though. It's a really good offer. It was a good offer. Yes. I thought about it. I think after week one, generally speaking, the only time in which you're making a trade in the scenario is with, it's like, it's so obvious that it would require some lunacy to say no. Sure. Yeah. But there's so little data. There's so, and also when it comes to a player like Taylor or Gibbs or Robbins, like those guys are first round cemented, it'll lead players. It's so hard to move on from. It goes to your point you make often, right? Which is just not just that you are, it's, it's Jonathan Taylor plus whoever you have as your next deficit right now. You're not taking a zero for Brown, right? So if you draft that, I'm just making this up, Debo Samuel, but you trade for AJ Brown, well, Debo gets relegated to the bench, like Jonathan Taylor plus Debo Samuel for AJ Brown and a Mary Hampton might sound like the Jonathan Taylor side is a clear winner. We'll see, but it sounds like it in some ways. Also, this is why you need to have an IR spot because a lot of times I'll throw someone on my IR right after the draft or just to utilize it, has an extra roster spot. AJ Brown, like, is the kind of player that's meant for IR? You can sit him there, hold on if you need to. Yeah. And then, so just to play into that, just on struggling an example of a guy you could call it, right? You don't ask about it. He's not going to be out. We mentioned that, but probably closer to 10 weeks now. So now the guy you You don't have to worry about that one anymore. Through the lineup blocks we have in this one, Bajon Robinson, obviously had eight catches in week one Drake London still a lineup lock, even though emotionally, it feels not fun to throw them out there and Ted roe and mick millen. Let's ask this question right off the bat field. If Cooper rush is the quarterback, do I still have to start Drake London? Not totally sold on that myself. I know Mike might feel differently, but I am not there yet. I'm going to sort of process that over the next couple of days. Yep. Their head coach Kevin Stefansky wouldn't even rule out Jack Stern ad. The fourth string QB sounds like probably no Michael Penex junior yet this week and two of us sounds probably not as well as strand. I don't know. I can't read strand. Jack. Do you guys want the good news of the bad news on the Falcons offense from week one with Cooper rush? Give me the bad news or start there. The Falcons did not settle for a field goal or a turnover or a turnover on downs. On any of their trips to the red zone last week. That sounds a good news. That's a good news. Oh, okay. Oh, so you just ignored us. Oh, yes. I you did the good. Never heard of it. That's the good news. What? Where was the bad part? All right. Here's the bad news. Okay. Gats lit us. Yeah. Falcons also didn't reach the red zone last week. Oh, okay. They were the only team in the NFL. There's so there's you set us. The NFL I did. You know, remember back in the day, the 20 yard line at different stadiums used to be like highlighted. They would do like a double thick line. They would dress it up a little bit. That seems to have gone by the wayside. But it used to be very obvious where the red zone was. Yep. The Falcons ignored it. They never got there. The Falcons did not read the freaking red zone last year, last week against the dealers. The only offense they had was B. John Robinson being superman. He did run through the red zone and that was the only time. All right. That's how bad the offense as a whole was. Yeah. This is amazing though. Last week, 31 teams had their wide receivers and tight ends combined for at least 10 receptions, which is not that significant of a way of a number to reach. It seems like there's one team. Not on that list. That would be one team. 32 teams minus 30. That leaves one. 10 plus receptions for the wide receivers and tight ends. The Falcons, every single wide receiver and tight end in week one combined for four catches, four, four, not even 10. They couldn't even get to 10. Every other team did. We've been dunking on the Browns offense all week. Have you seen how pathetic that offense was? They got to 10. The Falcons couldn't even get to five. That's brutal. This offense was completely non-functional in week one and I know the dealers are pretty good defense and there are better defense in Carolina this upcoming weekend. I know the Panther just said 59 hung on them. This offense is non-functioning right now given the quarterback state. So I got real concerns. You start Jack Strand. Here we go. I give us some hope. I at least want to say I'm I mean, he had a good, a good preseason, like put him out there. Sure. Yes. Great. We want Jack Strand. That's right. So I want Jack Strand too. I don't know. Whatever. I want to. I mean, I, yeah. Perfect. I really want his Michael Benning Jr. But he's not healthy. I want. I need it. I need it now though. It hurt me to have to watch this offense. So I don't know. I can I tell you a situation? I'm in. Please. Yes, I need it. I've got Drake London in a couple of leagues. I just do league included. A dynasty league included. Yeah. And at least this week, I'm going to trust it one more time. Drake London is too talented. I think they've got I have to give him an opportunity to write the ship. Yeah. I can't like bail after the first bad week. Okay. So I'm going to buy in lowering my expectations. I don't know what that means. There's no actionable to that. It's just like I'm not expecting Drake London to be what I drafted him to be. But I'm not going to not to bench him yet. After this game, if we don't have a quarterback change, then we're just going to have to have a bigger conversation. Yeah. He's one of those guys where after there's a short list of guys like this, where if they have a game where they only have like two or three targets or a complete disaster there when, you know, during the week, they're like, okay, we have to fix that. Those guys generally come back the next week and just are peppered early on with targets. Yeah. I would that would be my expectation. So nervous. So nervous. Doesn't feel good about it. I like. I had a thought on Dynasty and Drake London. We can bring it. Take it in a minute. I think we have something sad on Jack Strand. Chat. Let's bring it up. It's strange. My bad. I've taken the Panthers in this one. Yeah. I am taking the Panthers. You know, don'd on me from, I think we everybody across the board took the Panthers in this one. Producers as well. Yeah. There's a laser 425 game and you were up. I don't know. Some ridiculous amount of points going into that game. And then he came back and got you. Do you know what game that was? The Lions. Bill sat the whole line. We had really the 48. That's what I was thinking about it. I lost two matchups because of that game. Yeah. There was another where I had also went up against our buddy Kurt in the Michigan men. Not in the Michigan men league, but our buddy. So you're going to flashbacks and I have so much scar tissue from that game. We could have faced other in the finals. Yeah. I wish that we had field. Trust me. I don't because my team in the finals, I had you smash it was like it was if you guys may recall this, but the the Ravens played the Texans on Christmas day to Christmas is it? Yeah. Okay. Yeah. And I have Lamar and Derek Henry. I'll never forget. father-in-law, and he was like, why is this guy jumping like an absolute maniac every play? I'm like, because did you see, Derrick Henry go off for like 120 yards and a touchdown in the first half? So, that was a good week for the team. Yeah. Anyways, a good week from the Jets and Packers here. Mike, when I talk about that one, okay, interesting. The Jets actually weren't too bad in week one. Line up locks for this one. The two guys that we would expect, Grace Hall and Garrett Wilson for the Packers. I see Christian Watson, Tucker Kraft. I don't see any running backs on there, Michael. No running backs. By the way, the Jets bar is just like, they weren't that bad. Like that's like a bar for the Jets now. It's like, yeah. That's true. Honestly. No, that's big progress for them. That's great. Like, they were atrocious. We've come along. If Geno Smith can make those two guys fantasy relevant for the entire season, that's the, that's the best thing that we got. That's kind of my point. I know. I know. I know. And we're happy. And at some point, Kenyan City will be there. Mike, I just said that Andreak London, we're not going to bail after one week. What about the Packers running backs? Are we allowed to bail after one week? Yes. For now. For now. The distribution was not in March on Lloyd's favor. And we needed it to be in his favor to trust him as an RB 2. I think he's still in the flex conversation in this matchup. But look, he was out snap 37 to 30. He did have an edge of 13 to 7 and carries, which was good. But the routes were the passing down work leaned toward Chris Brooks. I actually looked at specifically when they called pass. Chris Brooks was on the field for 30 of those plays just 16 for March on Lloyd. Wow. Basically double them up. That is not great. I could. Also, March on Lloyd. Didn't, like, where's Bush? I do. And, like, played well. And you're like, OK, maybe earn more. Same thing with, like, Jacquery, Croskey, Merit. March on Lloyd did not in this one. I know it was a really tough matchup, but 13 carries for 37 yards. It's 2.8 yards per carry. Chris Brooks went 7 for 29. That's over 4 yards per carry. So that was even a little better. I know the scenarios are a little bit different, you know, guys in the box, whatever. It might be, but Lloyd did not earn a larger share of the pie in that game. And the jets were good against the opposing running backs last week. So I'm avoiding this one if I can. Me too. I'm just looking at the pass catchers. I would be starting Christian Watson. If I have him, I would be starting Tucker Kraft. If I had him, and you could start golden as a flex. He's not there yet where he's a lineup lock, but he's in at least now in the club field. And I have both have him at wide receiver 34 zone, a 12 team Lee. He would fall in that flex radar, based on what he did. Again, we don't think that 12 targets is going to happen again because so much of it wasn't garbage time, but it was nice seeing him just at least be you. Yeah, we were talking. We were in like a group text talking about how Watson is doing everything and golden nothing in the first half. Yeah. And then it kind of flipped in the second half and golden just went off. But again, they were, they had fallen behind when that really started, you know, and he kind of soaked up a ton of volume. So we're not, we're not line up locked territory yet, but good start. That's really it here. Not a while. So let's talk about this game. You're taking the packers of the jets tougher than I thought it was going to be to pick this game coming into we too, but I'm taking the packers, wow. Packers at home here, right? All of us except for the producers in New York, the jets, which is a little bit in New York, but I'll be back. I think that's, yeah. The producers did not go with, oh, but the other producers act as a jets fan, I understand why we picked the jets. I bet up in there. We go. I get it. All right. Let's talk radars and charges field. I mentioned this a little bit yesterday, and we'll dive in a little bit more, but line up locks on this one, Ashton Gentie, Brock Bowers, if you place, still waiting to get a little bit more information. Be the Mike McDaniel offense that we thought we were going to see last week. How do you feel about starting chargers this week in fantasy? Well, well, less excited than I did last week. I'll tell you that much, but Lad McConkey, who we'll see whether he plays, doesn't sound like just a ton of optimism at the moment. I think it's actually injury. If he's ribs, I think is what they're calling it, yes. If he is out, it's not like there's a chargers wide receiver that I say, okay, lad out. You're starting him. No, probably Quinton Johnson, we might highest ranked, but the chargers converted them third down twice last week. On the plus side, the Browns didn't do that so they beat the Browns. Part of the issue though is they just didn't have the ball at all in this game last week. They had 22 minutes and 29 seconds of time of possession, a week one, only the Titans had more. So I'm not going to excuse this week one performance. It was awful. It was pathetic. It was embarrassing. I felt a sense of guilt watching them because I was so optimistic about this offense. Like me, Daniel with much lesser personnel has made much more out of his offenses. That was totally not the case in week one. This is it. We talked about this on yesterday show, like you do it this week and you build some confidence and you prove that some of that hype, if not all that hype was deserved or we are pulling the plug on our chargers optimism almost right away. And by the way, this goes to everybody, like no one was good. It's not like, like you know, you're a Martin Hampton guy, like you'll probably be feeling comparably disappointed if he once again sort of has a turd game. You know what, it'll make me feel like it'll make me feel like how chase Brown started last season. Yeah. Although the schedule is just going to get brutal. It's going to get worse. But I had high expectations and it took chase Brown a long time. That's the thing. And I agree with you yesterday. We talked about this. Like this is a game. He has to get it going. The next one traveling across the country at Buffalo. Okay. Buffalo is not the defense it used to be. So you maybe have another game after this and then the schedule just gets brutal. Yeah. So you need to build that confidence now. Yeah. He is going to have to run the ball well too, because I mean, Keaton Mitchell ran my routes in this game. It was 10 to seven. Neither one of them was targeted. Neither one. I don't even want to say his name. It should be it's wayward. It should be. But again, he's just going to be. He's going to be Derek Henry, though. And like it's all based on Carrie volume and he's only going to get a couple targets. That's a problem. Like he, he's really going to have to run the ball well. It's a good opportunity at home against the Raider team. They should be better than. But again, we thought that last week against Arizona and they did, they were disappointed. So I'm with you. Huge game for our long term expectations for the chargers. Let's say the Brock Bowers doesn't go in this one. Michael Mayer, slotting in as a low and tied in one like he did in week one. It was fine last week. Similar expectations. Start, I mean, startable. Yes. I mean, how many options were there last week that proved to be startable? By the way, I said the other day I said, Bryce Young was fine in week one and I'm getting hammered on social from Panthers fans because he played well, I said fine in week one from a fantasy perspective. I was talking about his point total of 19. I was not talking about his film watching. He had, he averaged 17 points in the game last year. He had 19 of this game. That was the point. He was fine. He wasn't like a spectacular fantasy quarterback. That's what I meant. Yes. Bryce Young was awesome in week one. We'll see if he can do it. Again, he's has a history of not doing it in back to bad games in our production team. Clip that. Yes. Please. And it says Bryce Young. You don't need to doctor it. People hear what they want to hear. They've already decided. I'm booty and weak one. He's on the heater. Bryce Young was made. The same thing with Mayer. Same thing with Mayer. He's a very good tight end. Could be a tight end one for a lot of teams, but his fantasy output was fine. It was fine. It was fine. Like nine points. Yep. Who you taking in this one? Raiders or charges? Chargers get it done. Chargers for me as well. I'm buying into chargers one more week before I start to fully hit the panic button. All right. Eagles and Titans. Hey. I know the Eagles. Are you? Okay. The line of blocks tells me everything I need to know. We got Saikon Barkley, Jaylen Hertz, Devonta Smith. The Titans seem to be the other team outside of the Browns right now with the quarterback situation, but that one has like a little bit of your time. That's fair. It's got to change. I can't imagine starting any Titans right now with confidence. When's K-Word panic time? I mean, you got the guys around you now, take one Dale Ridley's your three. You got Gunner Helm who did a lot of damage last year. You have Tony Pollard in the back. I mean, you got to get it going. 100 figured out. I mean, if he has the guys around him to be at least average, it won't be easy this week. Yeah. Yeah, at least I have to get a little bit, but yeah, they got to get going because we can't it's speaking of quarterbacks, just getting the ball in the hands of school guys get the ball to these guys. They can make plays. So let's talk about the Eagles receivers before I dive into something that I think is. I don't know. It's a name that has meant so much to us in fantasy football that I want to give it some good thought. You go for the White receivers. Yeah. White receivers. Yeah. Kind of an underwhelming week. One eight catches under 20 when yards and a touchdown combined. And a lot of that was one play to Don Tavy and Wix, but keep in mind, this was a really good game script for the Eagles. They led for most of this game, hurts only attempt to 25 passes and also Dallas got her soul to touchdown. So that's why there wasn't much impact from them. We're staying the course on Devonte Smith. He was on the field for 20. He ran around on 25 of their 28 past plays in the game. Don Tavy and Wix was second to 24. Makai, I'm in at 23. So my perception of this unit is basically the same as in the off season. So that's pretty much the end of the analysis is just like it's what we thought it was going to be. It's still a lineup block. He's the one wix and lemon. I think they're just going to steal too much from each other. It's just not going to be enough consistent volume. I can't trust either guy in my lineup right now. I'm not a part of this conversation because you're going to go from but you're allowed to speak to it. I appreciate that. I'm going to ask a dummy question. When you say a player was out there for 25 of the then ran around on 25 of the 28 past plays. That means that three of the passing plays. He was just a blocker. No. He was on the field. Yes. Oh, for a wide receiver. That means they're on the sideline, but some guys will blog, you know, tie down to all these block. He could block. I don't like. Okay. I wasn't here with, you guys know, my dear Kenry optimism, but it was like, he was being drafted right around, Martin Hampton and Jeremiah Love and Ashton Gentie. All the guys were, it's like, they can make the big leap and be a top five running back, right? - Yeah. - Here's why I'm concerned about take one. It's a couple of years ago, obviously, he was off the charts amazing. He had over 2,000 rushing yards. He was perhaps a fantasy top five MVP. The guy was amazing, right? Every single week, he had five games with 30 plus fantasy points. I remember just a couple weeks ago being like, we haven't talked a lot about Sequan Barkley. Maybe we should a little bit more. Part of the reality two years ago that hasn't changed is that Sequan Barkley did not catch a ton of passes and didn't matter because he was running so dang efficiently. He goes offensive line was so darn good. The scheme was so perfect. They win the Super Bowl that year. All those things go right. Mike, you're an Eagles fan. Are you optimistic about the offensive line right now? - No. With Landon Dickerson, her, it's getting a little older. I still think it's a very good offensive line when healthy, but yeah, they've been a little beat up. - There was a time where it felt like two years ago, they were in a tier basically by themselves as an offensive line. - Definitely. - There may be maybe a top five read offensive line. I'm not Mike Goldig Jr. I'm not going to sit here and try to rank all 32, but I don't think they are viewed anymore as so much better than everybody else that you could put me behind them and you get a bunch of yards. Sequan is obviously an elite talent. So it's the offensive line's not nearly as good. Sequan Barkley's rushing efficiency as a result goes down. Over his past six regular season games, I didn't even look at the playoff games. Sequan Barkley has a total of 11 targets and three catches for 11 receiving yards. This is one third of a 17 games pace, but just for some context, that would be a full season pace of nine catches for 31 yards for Sequan Barkley if it keeps up. It's going to be better than that. It's going to be better than nine catches for 31 yards, but he has basically been rid of his receiving duties which is not like he was catching 100 passes two years ago, but he was running so darn effectively and scoring so many touchdowns that didn't matter. This equals offense is not as good as it was two years ago. He's still not catching passes that, I don't know. I'm worried that Sequan, I don't know what a month that we talk about him is like RB 17 is opposed to RB. He might have been RB seven in our week one ranks. I am both worried because I agree with all of the things that you're saying field and try to figure out how to counterbalance that with what I feel like Mike is potentially also going to say which is they have such a great schedule at least to start the year. Yes, this will help this weekend. If it doesn't happen, it gets a tighten. Don't you get worried? Yes, definitely if it doesn't happen against the Titans. I will say this was a little volume game for them in some ways, he did have 80 yards. So it's not, I mean, again, not, you know, he'd have a Derek Henry game or anything like that. But he did have 80 yards. And he's also on the field for 22 of their 33 called passes. It was eight for Will Shipley three for tank big space. That's still a pretty good number. At least he was out in the field. So perhaps that'll lead to more targets. But I hear he's going to have to make up ground to become a top five top seven running back. He's going to have to run at a high level and you're right. I don't know if he gets that level anymore. And that was my thought in the offseason was I think he's now down a tier or two. Like he's still going to hang in them running back one conversation. There's so much volume. There's talent there. The online is still pretty good. The offense will be fine. But I don't know if he gets to that level. I don't think he's going to be in the conversation with Robinson Gibbs, CMC, guys like that. I think those days are behind him. So the first like few weeks of the season for fantasy in my mind or not just talking about the guys that kind of come out and know where and have huge games. Isaiah likely goes off and he has a tight end one. But I think it's also looking at the big names that we talked about coming into the season and deciding like if things don't go as expected. Can things turn quickly? Jamar chase right makes back that the turn in a major way. Or is this going to be like where things are heading going forward? And like is a Sequan Barclay or Devonte Adams usually older players? Are they more vulnerable to the potential slide? So I've got Sequan ranked easily, easily inside my top 20. I'm starting him every lead that I had. I'm not I'm not suggesting otherwise. I'm just flagging it. Yeah. I need to turn around in a hurry or else the conversations become a whole lot more serious with you. Yeah, it's different. Like I think it's what we talked about before with like Jonathan Taylor, like being at that level. That's not Sequan Barclay's level now. Like when you're evaluating trades, you know, we're not putting him in that category anymore. So I agree with that. Feel that I take in the Eagles. I'm going to go with dynamic brown, 100 percent rostered guys taken on the Dallas Cowboys. Cowboys just got embarrassed to be honest by the giants. I expect the Dallas Cowboys to find that offense that they didn't have in week one when that happens. There's going to just have to be a lot of throwing in this game. I don't think it's going to be the running back. So I'm just taking a shot at an offense. I think it's just going to have to throw the ball a lot. And he ran clearly as a number three wide receiver last week ahead of Antonio Williams. My only concern with Brown would be, uh, do it does Williams take that job after impressing. If they watch the tape and say, Hey, this guy's good. He flips and, you know, they flip roles. But again, we're talking about under one percent guys. So I get it. I get it. I thought about him too. We cut it in half because last week we're 1% because we hit. Now we have to pick guys under. I forgot about that. Yeah. I got lucky with mine because mine was. Oh, wow. I forgot we did that. But a reminder that like every time we're making the case for somebody in the Raheem Sanders fund, the case against is about a hundred times strong. That's right. I just went in to make a point about Antonio Williams. Yeah. I was just sliding in there. I came so close to, and I still think it's a really good pick. Raheem Sanders this week. I thought about it too. As Raheem Sanders probably going to be the Browns RB two with Dylan Samson banged up. He's going to miss some time. Uh, but my pick surprisingly had six targets in week one, uh, maybe some post hype production for Rowan Wilson. They're going to pick a couple of years ago out of Michigan for the Pittsburgh Steelers. There were some talk about him during the preseason, him and Aaron Rogers seemingly having a connection enough that he got six targets in week one. They play the patriots. Uh, I mentioned the weather could be gnarly earlier, but we'll monitor that. But I'm going Roman Wilson, 0.2% rostered like it. I like it. Although I don't want it to work out because we need Metcalf. We need our guy Michael Pittman, we talked about Lauren. We need Stefan Diggs too. So I don't agree. All right. But we don't, what we don't really need is a lot of the patriots wide receivers because we're not going to start them. So mine's fine here. I'm going to go with Kyle Williams. All right. I want to happen. Uh, I, I, you know, we talked about the Patriots game earlier. This guy is fourth in line at receiver. I, I looked at the usage after the injury as well. I was hoping to see more Kyle Williams because he looked pretty good last year in spots. Uh, it didn't happen. It was a little more. He got a few more routes. But I would like to see morally 11 snaps seven routes last week. But he's going to be fourth in line at receiver. And last year he had three long touchdowns. He hits for the big play occasionally. Remember, this is a year two receivers, a third round pick last year, tough match up here against Pittsburgh. But again, well, I need one one big play and I think they'll dial up a player to form in this game. I like it. Either if you guys think about any of the Baltimore wide receivers with the depth issues were currently hours. No practice yesterday. And then Jacobi Lane and I are a month. Yeah. Chris Moran. I feel like you plug him in if you got him a little outside of my top 20, I think 24 for me in my week. I lean towards 12 team leagues too. So I think he's, I think you'd be hard pressed at Ben Sharon Jones in this spot. If you told me he played 75% of the snaps this week, I would not be surprised. It's going to be like Jerome Ford and DJ Dallas. Yeah. I think it's been five years since he had more than four touches in a game. Wow. I mean, he'll have some sort of role in passing situations, but what I think they're going to do is probably Aaron Jones more in early downs and maybe Dallas in passing situations and mixture on Ford.
