- Welcome back, frickin' frack. - Welcome to the Jungle. - ABC Wednesdays. Abbott is back. - It's gonna be the best year yet. - Thank you, now we can finally turn this up. - And everyone's going wild. - Y'all think you run this school, but you don't. - It's going great. - Abbott Elementary. - Anything can happen in the jungle, right guys? - All new Wednesdays on ABC and stream next day on Hulu. - Fall never arrives all at once. First the air, then the light, and slowly the things you love begin to find each other. A jacket meets a dress, a hoodie slips beneath a blazer, an old cap finds a new scarf. Because you don't simply step into the season, you create it layer by layer until it finally feels like fall. Find fall your way at Ross. And if you can't find your way at the end of the season, you can't find your way at the end of the season. - Hello. - Hey guys. - And welcome to sunny West Virginia. I'm Brooke. I feel too drunk to be recording this, I'm sorry. - No, just like you're not, you've had one margarita, like one margarita, I'm gonna open my legs. - I genuinely am gonna open my legs. - That's what this song is about. - I'm just, I'm kind of feeling like I'm gonna open my legs. I'm so scared I'm gonna open my legs. - Okay, so we're in West Virginia right now. So as you can see from the genuine flash floods, Brooke's in her water shoes. - I'm in my waters. Show everyone how I go in the water. - You're gonna go in the water in the parking lot? All right. - You can do that if you want. - I look like a massive fairytale giant. - But basically we just wanted to say because we're in West Virginia, we were not able to record an episode this week. So we're showing you the pilot episode of "Brooke & Connor" that was never released. We have both decided that it's in our best interest not to relive and watch it. So we don't know what you're about to watch. We hope you like it. - I think it's actually gonna be cool to see like how much we've all grown together. So, well, maybe. - And we will have a lot to update you on next week. - Yeah. - We have a great guest next week and we also hope to give you some West Virginia update. - Yeah. - We have, it's an extensive docket of topics and new things that have not been talked about ever before. But the guests, I can't emphasize enough how. - It's been lightning. I won't lie to you. There has been lightning. - Yeah. I don't know if we'll even get home tomorrow. - Don't say that. - So there's a young man that's just pulled up to take us away. - I think we should go back into tacos and tequila. - We're gonna go back into the crew in here. But thank you guys for watching. - Love you. - Thanks for the patience. We'll be back in such a massive way next week. - Hear that thunder? - I hope you understand because you have to and we'll see you. - Next week. - We'll see you next week. - Love you. - Love you guys, bye. - Hey Brooke. - Hi Connor. - What's up? - It's really nice to see you. - It's so good to see you, especially in this. This lighting is extremely good. - I know and it's so nice to be able to hear your voice. - So crisp. - So crisp and clear. You really have a gorgeous voice. - You do too. - Thank you. - Well. - Am I too close to the mic or? - No, I think you're lovely. - Okay, cool. - Yeah. - What's up? How's the Monday going? - The Monday's good. I. Something actually interesting happened to me this morning. - Yeah. - Oh. - Yeah. - Yeah. What's up? - Well, something especially interesting happened to me this morning that's never happened to me and you won't believe this. I woke up at seven this morning, which is a big. - Whoa. - Yeah, different than the 10. - Yeah. - Usual wake up time. And I hiked Runyon. - Whoa. - Yeah. Yeah. - Geez, why? - Yeah. I don't. I can't answer that and I don't think it'll ever happen again and it's never happened before, but it is something that happened this morning. - That's huge. - Yeah. - You wanna know what's huge in my life? - What? - And you haven't really said anything about it. It's my anniversary. - Your hair? - Of getting hit by that car. - Hit by that car. Yeah. How are you feeling? - Good. Like time flies. - Yeah. Well, I guess you wanna dive into the story of when you got hit by the car for people who haven't heard it. - Oh, I forgot. Not everybody's heard the story. - Right. - I was just like on a bird scooter and I'm kind of barreling towards a four-way intersection and I couldn't figure out the brake. And then I just got smashed into by like, I think it was a Toyota Corolla, which like normally I'd be like, okay, it's a Toyota Corolla. I feel like I could get hit by a Toyota Corolla and just. - And walk away. - And skate. - You'd be shocked at how the punch it can pack, the Toyota Corolla. - Well, I do feel like, I think it's like an invincibility complex. Like if I got hit by a car, I know I'd be completely fine. - Yeah. - Yeah. But. - So when I was hemorrhaging, it was like a kind of a wake up call. - You were hemorrhaging? - Yeah, I think so. I wouldn't know 'cause I didn't go to the doctor, but my friends were like, yeah, that's a hemorrhage. I didn't have to wear a belt for like over a month 'cause my hip was so swollen. - You know, I was in the air for so long after getting smashed into by a Toyota Corolla that I actually had time. - Well, I feel like, what part of your body did you hurt? Like what. - Just my right hip. - Okay. - 'Cause I landed on it. - Right. - But I was in the air for so long. - And then you walked home? - I got back on the bird. - Oh, okay. - Yeah, I got back on my steed. - And was there any conversation between you and the driver of the Toyota Corolla? - Yeah, he said, what the hell is wrong with you? And I obviously apologized. - Right. - 'Cause that's just what I was. - 'Cause that's on you. - I was raised to do. - Right, right. - I was raised to do, and I'm grateful for my actions. So yeah, I'm feeling pretty cool that time flies when you're hemorrhaging. - Okay. - That's what everybody says. - That's what they say. - And it's nice to be 100%. - Well, happy anniversary. And I'm sorry I didn't wish that for you sooner. - It's okay. - So we're making a podcast. - Yeah, we are. We're here. - Yeah. - We're doing it. - Yeah. - It's so exciting. Brooke and Connor. - Make a podcast. - Make a podcast. - Yeah, that's what's happening. - Yeah. - Okay, well, what should we talk about on the podcast? - Well, there's any number of things we can talk about. I think the basis of our podcast, which we're figuring out, is that Brooke and I have nothing in common at all. It's shocking that we get along, to be honest, because. - Sometimes we do, sometimes we don't. But I agree, I can't really think of any interests that we have that align. - Yeah, but I think it makes for a cool conversation. When we go through some stuff, I know that you and I kind of butt heads a little bit with. Like Taylor Swift just came out with some stuff. - Right. Which is. - Which I have. - Yeah. - Some opinions on. - And so do I. - Yeah, what are your opinions on it? - I mean, it's brilliant. - Okay. - Like, beyond brilliant and just a heads up to everybody, I did end up leaving a group chat that Connor was a part of this weekend because he had some not so great things to say about Taylor's all too well 10-minute version. - To me, it's just crazy when people can't even have opinions on it because. - You know I usually respect your opinions, of course, and I always will. I don't see anything to respect about what you say. - What did I say? - You said that it wasn't good. - No, I didn't say that. - You did 100%. - I said it was annoying. - That's worse than not good. - Nothing needs to be 10 minutes. - I would want this to be 15, if possible at all, in any way. What didn't you like about it? - It doesn't need to be 10 minutes. - I don't understand why you're saying that. - Well, here's the deal. So, I've heard the song. I like the. - Do you like the regular version? - I love the. I love it. - Do you know what it's about? - It wrecks me. - Like, do you get it in any way? - I totally get it. It's about. - What's it about? Sorry. - Brooke, it's about a three-month relationship. - Connor, what's it about? -. that was 12 years ago, from my understanding. And someone seems to be harboring some resentment, instead of going to therapy. Which, like. - Not resentment. She's processing. - You know what? - You. - It should take 10 minutes to process. - I'm getting the feeling. - You shouldn't write a song about it. -. Connor, that. So, the song is about Jake Gyllenhaal. - Yeah. - So, the song is about Jake Gyllenhaal. - Yeah. - And it's like. - Yeah. - It's like. - Yeah. - Yeah. - It's like. I'm getting the feeling, Connor, that. So the song is about Jake Gyllenhaal. Yeah, why don't you break it down for me and then I'll share what I think. I'm feeling like you align with Jake. Well, this is going to get me in a lot of trouble. And it should, and you deserve it. No, I just think that after watching the short film, which was not. Again, it was 10 minutes. It's hardly a short film. I just feel like a little bit on Team Jake. You're making me feel sick, Connor. I don't. You came into this room with a stomachache, so I'm not taking any responsibility for making you feel sick. I just. Okay. What did you have for breakfast? I told you. Oh, sorry. I guess I didn't tell the podcast. Scrambled eggs, and you know they make me feel sick, but. That's gross. Why would you do that? But I'm just like. I guess it makes sense to me that you are aligning with him. You basically gaslit her for three months, and that's hard to get over, which I guess is something that you wouldn't understand. I understand. Do you mind if I chime in? No, not at all. I'll go ahead. Really quick to gaslight you. I think that I can break down. It's not like I'm not doing my research, and I'm allowed to have opinions. I wish you didn't watch it. When I watch Sadie Sink interacting with Dylan O'Brien. Great casting, by the way. I think that they. Phenomenal. encapsulate Tumblr in 2008. There they are. Here they are. I think it's a great casting. I think it's so brutal. I don't think that Taylor Swift would cast someone that literally looks like Jake Gyllenhaal from when they dated. Why? He deserves it. Okay, Brooke, hang on. Do you think he doesn't? There's one specific scene in the short film that a lot of. Are you going to cry? Are you crying? No, I just don't understand. Your eyes are kind of welling. I'm sorry. We can move on. No, no, no. I just want to say the one thing that really stuck with me about this, and again, I did my research. It's not like I'm just like, oh, I hate Taylor Swift. I like Taylor Swift. Right. And you like the three-minute version. I like Taylor Swift. I love the three, you know what? The three-minute version rocked my world almost as much as that Toyota Corolla that smashed into me on the bird scooter. Right, and happy anniversary. Thank you. What I wanted to say is that when I watch this video, they're in love, it's sweet, and then they go to this dinner, right? And my understanding of this dinner is that it's his friends that he hasn't seen in how long? And he drops her hand. If you're coming to a dinner with me and I haven't seen. And I held your hand, you would drop it. This is a blanket statement. And you would drop my hand. Well, you know I don't like being touched. I know, but. If I went to this dinner and I haven't seen my college friends in 10 years say, that's a. Like, if these are my best friends, and you're like, what about me? I'd be like, stop. She didn't say what about. She reached for his hand, of course. She's 10 years younger than all. She's 10 years younger than all these people. And she's acting like it. He's saying, come meet me. You're sick. Of course she's acting like it. She is 10 years younger. So. This is just not productive. I mean, are we. But like, so you condone the hand dropping? No, I think that he could have been like, oh my God, I'm so sorry. Like, I didn't realize I did that. But he did after 10 minutes of full gaslighting her. About it. Okay, cool. So I see a full-blown. Like, they've come to terms. They're cool. They're dancing in the middle of the night in the refrigerator light. We're on the same page about that. They've moved on. So I don't understand the resentment. I think it was just like constant over and over things like that. You know? Do you see what I'm saying at all? I just think that a lot can happen. A 20-year-old shouldn't be dating a 30-year-old. I'll just say that. Like, that's just. You're not going to see eye to eye. It's due to tango, right? You can't clap with one hand. I do agree. But I don't think he's harboring anything. I think he's fully moved on. Right, and that's what's even sadder. I actually saw. Because the whole song is like, okay, I was there. Like, this is what I experienced. Did you not? Here's what I feel. And it's like, he didn't. I feel that when you're 20 years old and you've told. You've told a story. You're just going to remember it how you remember it. That's your new reality. And that's how she's remembering it. I just read a tweet, actually. I'm not shitting on it at all. You're going to remember your reality of this podcast very different than I do. I feel totally at terms with the OG song. I did read a tweet that, like, years later, this girl on Twitter was interning for Jake Gyllenhaal and he turned his apartment into an office space. Like, that bugs me a little bit. That's weird. And he was playing Taylor. Taylor Swift. Right, just like casually. Guess what? Guess who's totally fine and guess who's dwelling on her. I know, and that's what makes it so much worse. To me, that's what makes it worse. That he's like, okay, whatever. And she's 13 years later, like. Do you think she goes to therapy? Of course. I think we all should. I think Jake should, too. Of course. Because he's fine. You want him to feel bad. Of course I do. Huh. Right. I think is that where we're different? All right, you know what? I don't know about. I don't get the red scarf. Okay, well, the first time they met, they were upstate. And like right away, you were saying it was three months? Upstate? What state? New York. Upstate New York. And he already took her to meet his family, Maggie Gyllenhaal is the sister in this case, and she left her scarf there. And there's two different veins of theories on the scarf that I'm seeing. One is that it's a real scarf, and I'm seeing like on Dumois, like somebody actually has a scarf, and they're trying to get it, am I screaming at you right now? - No, you sound awesome. - Oh, but someone's actually trying to get the actual physical scarf back to Taylor. And then what I'm seeing on TikTok is that the scarf is her virginity that she left at his sister's house. What do you think? - I just think it's dumb once again. Like I feel like it's. - What? - A scarf from 10 years ago. - Well, yeah, and he still has it. - He doesn't. - He did have it for a bit, for sure. - Think about something that you've lost, like a sweatshirt or something. - Okay. - I don't know. I just think that she's really just. - Well, she didn't lose it, he kept it. - What's the lyrics? - I left my scarf at your sister's house. - And you still have it in your drawer even now. - How does she know that? - Well, now I'm confused because. Gyllenhaal doesn't know shit about this scarf. - Right, but now I'm confused because if they're trying to get it back to someone, I guess he doesn't have it. - There's a lot of. - Then it's her virginity. Right? - I don't know. - Okay. Okay, and you didn't like the short film? - I did. I thought it was fine. - Okay. You're ready to move on. - Yeah. - Okay, that's fine. Let's do it. - Anyways, I don't hate the song. It's just like hard. ♪ Mmm ♪ ♪ Mmm ♪ ♪ Mmm ♪ - That's like, I'm trying to think, like Sugar, we're going down swinging. Like if they made a 10 minute version of that. - Right. - Like I don't need it. Like I really liked the first one and like that's enough. And if I want to hear it for 10 minutes, I'll just put it on repeat. - Well, I think this is different because it's telling a story and she's adding more to the story. - I can appreciate lyrics that have been released. What I will say is that like, she wrote this 10 years ago. I want to hear her sing it from when she was feeling it 10 years ago. 'Cause now I'm like, well, I think that's even, you know, the whole concept of the vault is like she doesn't touch her old songs. So it's like, that's really how she was feeling. - She was a theater kid, wasn't she? - I don't know. - She must have. - We could ask her. - Yeah. - Yeah. - At some point. - Okay, well, I just think the reason that people get so like emotional, I mean, I would never be emotional because I don't operate on them. - I saw you tear up. - I'm very chill. But I just think the people that get emotional think that like, you know, you're siding. - Yeah. - With Jake and this experience and so many girls relate to what Taylor's going through. You know? - Yeah. - Okay, moving on. - Okay. So, what I like about this show and how it's gonna roll through is that we can talk about Taylor Swift and we can switch gears and then I can mansplain NFTs to you. - Yeah, that's something I've been looking forward to. - Right. So you woke up like ready to crank out some NFT. - NFTs. - Right. - Chat. What do you think an NFT is? - Right. I'm just gonna ask, do you mind really quickly? - Can you just roll, 'cause I know that I've talked about it to you. - Right, for sure. - Like with you. - You have talked about them to me. - To you. - To me. - Yeah, and I apologize for that. I wouldn't want to Jake Gyllenhaal. - Seriously, no problem. - On you. - Okay, I can tell you what I think. NFT, it's finance. - Sure. - It's money. - Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. - It's money. - Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. - National financial trusting. Trust. - Yeah. - With. - No. - What is it? - It's not that. It is a non-fungible token. - Non-fungible. - Fung. - Non-fungible token. - G, there's a G in it. - Okay. - And what does that mean, you ask? - Would you mind, yeah. - I'll tell you exactly what it means. A non-fungible token means that you can't, it's not tradable, it's unique. I'm not gonna be able to explain this. - Try. - Welcome to the jungle, ABC Wednesdays. - Abbott is back. - It's going great. - Abbott Elementary. - All new Wednesdays on ABC and streamed next day on Hulu. First the air, then the light. And slowly the things you love begin to find each other. A jacket meets a dress. A hoodie slips beneath a blazer. An old cap finds a new scarf. Because you don't simply step into the season. You create it layer by layer, until it finally feels like fall. - That's what I'm saying. No, like it's not like, am I right? Or does, it sucks 'cause I'm gonna, yeah. So it's, yeah, yeah, yeah. A unique and non-interchangeable unit of data stored on a digital, on blockchain. And blockchain, it would be like a Bitcoin. You can trade a Bitcoin for another Bitcoin. Or some shit like that. - So why would anyone care? - So apparently, so it's essentially, it's the future. It's the future. - It's the future? - Yeah. So any questions so far with this? - I mean, I guess just like where I'm confused is like, what? What is the point and why you would care? - So. - On what you do with it. - I'm gonna keep going. - And if you can't trade it. - I confirm that people. - What do you do with it? Just look at it? Is it a coin? - Oh my gosh. No, it's not a coin. An NFT, shit. I'm not gonna, anyways, let's move on. Let's talk about Kim and Pete. Basically, Brooke, like, basically like, I would just say keep an eye on the space. - Okay. - Because. I own Ethereum, which is like another form of blockchain, which is like, it's like Bitcoin, but like a different, it's a decentralized currency. - This is scary, like culty. - It is a little scary, to be honest. And the reason I got into it is you know that I have anxiety. - Well, yeah. - So like I got anxiety about feeling left out of this and missing out. - FOMO. - Right, oh, yeah, yeah, that's what I have. And so I got a little bit panic vibes, a panic attack vibes, where I was like, people are saying this is the future. - Right. - All my friends that are huge douchebags are just like, all in on this and i'm like i need to i need to for no other reason than you would have been sad to miss out i couldn't miss out on this i get it and so what's your non-fungible token i don't know i don't own any nfts oh you own a over a revium what'd you say we'll get there we'll get there we'll get there okay in the meantime i'm gonna circle let's circle back let's touch base on that let's offline about that okay we'll chat we'll we'll chat we'll chat nfts we'll slack um i'll funge your token off camera in a little bit okay speaking of kim and pete um yeah so kim and pete have been seen a few times in new york yeah started on snl yeah you know they kissed in that one aladdin skit wait wait wait wait wait oh i have i have something i want to say say it so this is like big time india vibes but i don't i don't know if anyone's you can it started before snl because i have a friend that goes to the same um pete davidson has really bad acne and bacne really yeah so he sees my friend's esthetician uh-huh and he basically goes in there and spills all the beans every time he goes in is your friend his esthetician no my friend goes his oh oh my god yeah she she goes and i don't even know if i want to share this she goes um in the front desk girl pete goes in regularly right for his acne and he basically is like i have been hooking up with him for like a while whoa that and they seem so like like they didn't know each other at all on snl started started to do moi this this thing but he was also hooking with a bridgerton girl the same time as kim time and she was supposed to come in to uh his native village of new york city right of staten island of pete davidson's staten island native village because no one else lives there besides pete davidson or has ever lived there as far as i'm concerned or now and she was flying in what's her name on bridgerton oh lord ass not phoebe bridgers um uh duke the duchess the duchess of course what's her the duchess of in real life phoebe something no i swear it's phoebe oh that's her yes phoebe phoebe yeah yeah something exactly and and you know i don't know i don't think it's our place to say i don't think it's our place to say and the listeners will know we've given them enough context to know that we're talking about phoebe from bridgerton phoebe d phoebe d let's call her phoebe d okay since that's her name that's fine i think that's i don't agree i don't think pete would do that at all no well i mean they it was like a fun they weren't exclusive like but was he exclusive with phoebe bird phoebe when he was phoebe when he was doing that no so she knew that he was okay with kim and she was scared to come into town because she was scared kim was gonna be around and like didn't want to cross paths and you're getting this from your friend's esthetician yeah okay i trust i know you do but i'm gonna take it with a grain of salt because i think pete is a one-woman show i think he's a really good guy you think that vampire is a one and i saw something that was like oh my god why is pete getting all of these girls it's crazy and you know what someone was like have you ever thought he's a really good personality i have another thing to say but i'm like i shouldn't say it because it's not my place to say i'm just like you can i'm gonna leave it up to the imagination uh is i think i know exactly what you're talking about and it's not what you think it is it is is it that he's a big dick oh then i don't know actually he's got a big pile of money down there no in his mom's basement anyways so basically um he was hooking with kim and so now they're they're exclusive now him and kim yeah but before snl that kiss on snl was their first was not their first kiss which like a lot of people were that's the first kiss it's not okay i mean i would need to hear more about it okay call kenzie after the show okay i'll call kenzie but i that's just all i have to say on that okay so that's the origin and well what do you think about it i think it's weird why because he to me like kim has like how many kids now like four nine four four can you name them um yeah north right south east oh that's never been done before pat yourself on the back for that one um great family it's north saint chicago yeah and psalm is that how you say that word i don't think they have those in jewish yeah but it's in the bible yeah yeah okay very like a biblical family it was at chicago yeah shy yeah um cool though but here's what i think basically i love it because i think i do i think kim's got a heart of gold really i think so too heart of gold and i love pete but what i will say and you've heard me say this multiple times and this is something i'll always cry about after i have one or two drinks is that funny guys can get the kim kardashians of the world that's written on my mirror in my bathroom and funny girls girls like funny guys no funny girls don't get the kim kardashians of the world at all why don't you change that narrative i can't it would take years and years and redefining the social structure of it's shattering ceilings yeah with jokes i would have to remake the world yeah yeah i believe in you i i mean i can't do it alone but i guess this is my plea to everyone okay to reinvent the wheel that's not that was like the wrong phrase phrase reinventing the wheel would be just like doing the exact same thing well everyone knew what i meant okay so moral of the story is that i am pro kim and pete but it does bring light bring to light right yeah what like who else like john mulaney john mulaney's with olivia munn who's nick kroll with nick kroll actually has like a beautiful sweet wholesome wife what did you wait so i was like olivia munn oh i'm not implying that everyone else isn't wholesome and beautiful and gorgeous but she's just like not known she's like a landscape artist like not like olivia munn or kim kardashian not like a signed model that's pretty cool right who else there's like other people that are dating literally everyone kyle mooney's i don't actually know what i have a big thing for all the snl guys but i don't they're very private about the relationship colin jost scarlett johansson yeah of course yeah i mean the examples are endless yeah truly yeah yeah and give me a funny female comedian and i'll tell you like amy schumer it would be married to chris evans if it were if it was if it was yeah yeah you know what i'm saying and she's not um yeah that sucks yeah okay i think it's time we maybe switch gears that's fine and have like a little bit of an interjection here and i think that maybe we could prank all your dad okay well i now i'm feeling silly because i was supposed to text him and say do you mind if i call you in an hour because this is around the time he but recently bought like a bike not a peloton but something and he goes he travels the world on it like it's stationary it's not a peloton but it's just like a stationary bike and he like will go somewhere and he'll be like oh my god i'm gonna go to a new every day for hours and he doesn't stop talking about it but i'm i fear that he's on his bike but i'm gonna give him a call the stationary bike traveling the world but i'm gonna give him a call and try that yeah are you familiar with the oil changing prank that's viral on tiktok yeah well do you want to break it down yeah i'll break it down basically usually a girl in most situations calls their dad or any or boyfriend or whatever and says that she just got charged five hundred dollars for an oil change in addition to a few hundred bucks for premium air yeah and her tires um so i'm gonna go ahead and try that on my dad yeah yeah i think that'd be really funny i did i did it and some girl dm'd me and was like this is for girls i i do think that it plays into the patriarchy a bit yeah right i don't know how to do any of that i get change your oil mechanic i you do yeah every single time i go yeah that's a universal experience that is a universal truth of getting scammed okay guys do i just call on my phone right now okay oh shoot that scared me i put it closer to the mic hey dad oh you're on your bike can i just ask you a real quick question i'm at the mechanic and they just charged me 500 for an oil change i swear i swear 500 for an oil change and then an additional 200 for for premium air in my tires am i what's no premium air what the fuck is that that's bullshit oil changes are 60 80 bucks really so i just got scammed huh okay well what do i do go back here and speak to the manager i can't do that yes you can and i'd like to send me a copy of that bill okay well can you well can you talk to the manager i will talk tonight send me the bill send you the bill okay i'll send you the bill okay love you bye wait he's like not he's not he's not fucking around he was on the bike of course he was like what the fuck i know he was on the bike should i try my parents yeah please oh yeah my mom called me twice this morning oh god did you call back hell no you want to see the text she sent me this morning yeah 4 51 a.m she texts me a link to ancient tales of wisdom correcting one's wrongdoings changing one's fate what could that even be about and the image is like an like an ancient chinese scroll did you respond no what do i say to that i just emphasize all the links that my mom sends me and then yesterday 4 47 a.m link to healthline.com benefits of pineapple juice i saw that recently i don't need that pineapple juice no but you know the benefits i actually do but i don't need to text my mom i think there's more than that what you're thinking of like health benefits worth a try okay yeah all right okay give her a ring okay should i call my mom or my dad dad my dad my dad and your dad i don't think are going to have the same um thing okay here we go hey buddy hey really quick i'm at the mechanic you're wearing i'm at the mechanic yeah um you know how i got my oil change the other day yeah they said oh well they charged me 500 bucks for what the oil change where'd you have it done the mechanic this is the dealership no no there's no such thing as a 500 oil change that's what it was and they charged me an additional 200 because they put they filled my tires up and they said it was premium air they put nitrogen in which you didn't need oh shoot that wouldn't even be 200 what do you think i mean i mean no it's no i mean there should have been i mean i've never heard of i mean you can bring your freaking lamborghini in for freaking three hundred dollars and have your oil changed okay i have mom's i mean i get my truck done all the time down at toyota and it's like 90 bucks okay all right i gotta go have a word i guess with the manager exactly so you know what look on the site and see what the oil change is and say hey i came in for an oil change i didn't ask for any of this okay i didn't ask for this shit okay so and stand up for yourself that pisses me off okay all right buddy okay love you love you thank you bye call me back i will bye i think i almost feel kind of bad i know that was awesome buddy uh i could do that all no my my dad's famous line is he'll do 40 seconds of like skinny before he finally gets like his thought out oh my god that was really good i have to say like it doesn't get old at all to me i feel really guilty oh really like i'm gonna have to call him back the only reason i feel guilty is because i did something to my dad yesterday you know the whole tom's house was broken into he confronted the burglar well i texted my dad tom's house was broken into just to see what he would say and he was like so like like i must have missed some text he was like shoot like i just got off the plane must have missed some text like not fully understanding so i do feel bad about that but oh that was good yeah that was i don't know how i feel about it to be honest i feel kind of guilty oh it was funny though so you can rest easy knowing that i got a belly laugh from that oh you did i did i was cracking up yeah that's good i'm just gonna readjust okay cool because i have a feeling i'm having my hair is looking pretty bad no it looks awesome really yeah thanks okay what's next um so i want to talk again so like i have this desk here and i like forgot that you know this isn't you do you you're gonna handle pop culture i'm gonna have some opinions right i gotta bring in a little bit of you know my background yeah you know what my background is texas no i worked in tech uh-huh all before this well now you know i'm a woman in tech so i will be understanding a little bit of what you're saying because you do post it because i do go on my phone quite a bit yeah i do have a screen time of 13 hours so i am i call myself woman in tech yeah yeah i went to the doctor and fully was like i have a tumor and they were like no you need blue light glasses yeah yeah i've been there honey yeah yeah okay so tell me about so so so so my my experience in tech i sat at a desk much like this i never had a phone um but my experience in tech like i worked at bumble right um i was a very early employee at bumble and i got fired obviously i can't hold a job and then so i started at bird where if you remember earlier in the full circle moment happy anniversary by the way thank you of course connor i What was I going to say? Oh, I got fired from Bird, too. Shortly after getting hired. Yeah. That wasn't your fault. No. But tell me, what is your, like, when you hear the word IPO, what does that mean to you? Beer. Yeah. Yum. Yum. No. So you're thinking IPA, so that was really close, actually. What is IPO? IPO. IPO. Um. I'm in a panic. Like, International Podcasting Association. Oh, it's-- Oh, uh, just tell me. It's an initial public offering. Put me out of my misery. We're going to get you invested in stuff. OK. That's totally fine. You have a money guy that does all your money. Yeah. Uncle Jeffrey. Yeah. Yeah. Bless his heart. Bless his heart. Love you. Love him. Love you, Uncle Jeffrey. Love my dad. Um, yeah, but an initial public offering, that's basically like when a company goes, you know, on the stock market. You were telling me about that. Yeah. You know, these are-- you're dragging my memory a bit. Yeah. So the beautiful thing about going public is I've worked at two of the companies I just spoke on. Uh-huh. I-- both of those, Bumble and Bird, did go public after I left. So I benefited nothing at all from both of those experiences. So what were they doing when they were private? So it's-- you're basically fundraising and, like, you have series of, like, rounds of fundraising where you're raising money to go public and getting in press. And, like, I don't really fucking get it, to be honest, now that I'm saying it out loud. And that's OK. I don't need to because it's, like, it's not for me to know. You sat, I mean, from what makes no difference to me. Right. Right. Fully. I could have just kept going with what I was saying. Basically, when you go to the stock market, you go public and you ring the bell, and you're on-- Where do you go to the stock market? You go to Wall Street and you bring all your friends and you go to Wall Street and you're making a lot of noise and there's confetti. It's a place. And there's a bull. Is it the same as Wolf of Wall Street? Yeah, exactly the same. There's like boats and cocaine. Right. And you basically go to the Wall Street and you have the whole thing happen. You post on Instagram. There's a big screen on Times Square and you get to take a picture in front of it. And you go public and you go to the stock market at an initial public offering of X, which is a price per unit stock. Well, yeah. Sorry, I'm screaming a little bit. No, not at all. Basically, so then you can be higher than that, you can be lower than that. A lot of companies fail. When WeWork went public, they flopped. What else went public recently? I don't know, but you can be right. And then you go up and if Elon Musk talks about you, you go up on the stock market. People are buying and your price goes up. So you can't buy anything when it's private. So when it goes public, then people can have a piece of it. That's a tricky subject because, like, I got in early on Sweetgreen. Oh, you can just do it. I don't know. Even when it's private? You can get in early at the at the market price. I hope no one's listening to this back there and like. Anyway, so Rivian is an electric truck company, truck company. It's right here. So I actually went when I was at CES with Bird and we were in. like bird is obviously stepped into bikes electric bikes in santa monica specifically and there there's the future of like travel is electric apparently and so the this is going to be like a tesla competitor and what's cool about that thing just needs to be plugged in plug in and plug it right in oh my god that's huge too outlet or you you name it it's huge and it's a truck and the cool thing about these trucks you would love it because you pull it out you can sit on it there's like a bench connected to it and there's a lot of other features that i can't remember now but we got to see it in person and it was so sick like it's connected to alexa right they work with amazon so i don't know it's it's really cool it's a cool company watch this space that's all the mic no watch this space what are you talking watch just watch this space keep an eye on this space because there's a lot happening with it they're going public that's what i'm going to ask you how vivian or whatever has anything to do with there's an ipo there's a measure of success like if your company's going public that means you're successful it's a good sign and they're raising money and i haven't heard of this before i know well i mean watch the space i am watching this but now that you said it i'll be watching this watch the space it's exciting um and you have some exciting news well it's early yeah well in a sense this is going public as well in a sense this is going public imminently but i have spent the last week re-watching all of the harry potters why why not oh greatest films of our generation have you seen yeah do you like them this is actually another anniversary it's been 20 years since the sorcerer stone i know first isn't that crazy yeah have you seen the movies yeah do you like them yeah okay that's awesome they're kind of like make you feel good they do they're like feel good like i love things that just like bring you back yeah i was allowed to watch when i was really yeah because because it was violent no because it was black magic oh and you weren't allowed to watch black mad no i was raised in a christian home oh i had no idea that that was even an issue what was magic in the bible i don't know but it's a religious thing i guess do you guys have black magic in jewish i don't think so i mean not in the sense that it's like wizard and witches wizards and witches no um neither in the i don't really i don't know what happened wow that's so interesting there was dark magic happening in the harry potter that they said well voldemort it's dark magic yeah i guess like kind of like i guess it's kind of like hell vibes like hell heaven and hell what was it did you think i don't know like dark magic could be hell i don't think there's hell and there's no hell in judaism yeah i heard that yeah just i guess just like different levels of heaven maybe cool i don't know i don't know we're getting a little off topic okay but um anyway i've been spending the whole week re-watching the harry potter movies yeah watched the seventh last night finish back to the first this morning there's eight i was watching seven part two yeah rumor has it that there's gonna be a reunion but no one has confirmed it like no one on the harry potter team what is a reunion for harry potter well my understanding is it would be the same people it's warner brothers so it would be the same people that did the friends reunion so it would just be like are we getting into another taylor swift i mean i just like that was bad it was bad objectively everyone agreed that the friends reunion was i have not heard that once come on i don't know where you're getting your information but that is that reunion was life-changing and touched the lives of so many people and you're minimizing that am i being crazy i'm not gonna say you're being crazy because i'm not jake gyllenhaal but it's just like i don't understand like what you could have been you don't like friends i didn't say that on you know but i know that but i know that well because you've told me explicitly my friend so of course you don't like my thing with friends is like you can put on its background noise i don't think that the plot line and everyone agrees the pot well i don't think that's why anybody's watching it well it is funny no well yeah well yeah it's not funny it's a riot how can you watch like curb your enthusiasm and then watch friends and be like you can like both okay they're different kinds of humor i would herb is like really smart i wouldn't say friends is like smart it's just like feel good yeah hanging with friends lots of laughs it's really in the title yeah you could say that gimme okay well that's fine okay cool well okay cool it was a good experience for you i watched it it's not like i didn't again i didn't know well i don't think you can go in not liking friends and come out thinking the reunion was great you know oh yeah you know so yeah anyway i just breathed in deep for that have you ever just like breathed in deep it feels so good it makes me uncomfortable sometimes i fully forget it makes me anxious to breathe i'm a shallow breather for sure i thought jk rowling was cancelled she is so what she's just not gonna go to the reunion that's a great question we'll have to feel that out keep your eyes on the space yeah watch the space yeah for sure what was she cancelled for didn't she um she was just like like bad no way yeah yeah i can forward you some tweets she was tweeting well she was just like it was like a weird time of like transgender issues and like what bathrooms people should use and she was like really adamant about like trans people like sticking i i like just like using the bathroom of the gender they were assigned at birth yeah like really adamant and like would not stop and then people were just like i think i'm pretty sure that was it but people were just like we should just like that just like collectively we're like you're done which is like yeah you're done you're done and then she's just like no yeah she just like was like no i'm not and just like kept going and just like would not apologize or change her views in any way it was really bizarre especially because like you're clearly brilliant in some capacity if you're writing harry potter but like she just wouldn't i would show out with that she was being i think it was like a like a stubborn issue she was just like not well she's old i don't think i think she's in her 40s her 50s minimum time for it rebrand it's time for a rebrand yeah and i and sorcerer's stone she's 56 years old she looks great actually for 56. she does but that's an old that's an older person like that's someone who i mean she's older than my parents i think my dad is 55. so she's not too old okay so we'll keep our eyes on the space for harry potter reunion yeah but some people that age can have opinions and be stubborn about it like oh that's what you're saying oh okay i wasn't sure where you were going to go i don't know i don't know what you're saying about it like oh that's what you're saying oh okay i wasn't sure where you were going to go like oh that's what you're saying oh okay i wasn't sure where you were going to go like oh that's what you're saying about it like oh that's what you're saying oh okay i wasn't sure where you were going to go like oh that's what you're saying oh okay i wasn't sure where you were getting it with her needing a night serum but um oh because you said she's 40 and i was like she's not 40. okay then she says okay no she's gorgeous she's beautiful okay um i don't think we need to talk about zayn i don't know shh i don't like it's just like gg he's just like that's like a troubling thing that's like domestic violence he's always yeah i would skip yeah he seems he seems he's troubled he's trouble you know what i will say about zayn and gigi bella wasn't getting enough attention and now she's crying all over the internet is she yeah she's crying man i'm in a really you good pop culture you are knowledge space i'm embarrassed that's supposed to be like yeah you know someone once told me i look like bella hadid yeah you okay that's it yeah okay yeah cool who did you pull up a picture of the other day and say that you look like oh emma roberts because you're wearing you were both wearing a striped shirt no i put on the shirt to show everyone that i looked like her yeah your hair was the same color too when her hair was brown we have a similar i saw it i saw it in the pic i agree do you mind if i actually pull this up i know i i'm the one that agreed with you someone else said no because i said i said it because i have a big crush on evan peters who dated he's been pretty quiet well he doesn't he's just like a very humble quiet guy from what i know i'm i know him well you know um i really want to tell the story because this is reminding me what of you meeting jacob already the other night you tell that okay well she's pulling this up me and emma oh yeah that's it oh my god they found the picture oh my god that's the picture but i need to find the pick stitch of first of all that's me yeah i do see do you see that but let me find anyway the reason i was like oh i love evan peters you know crazy he dated emma roberts i look just like her and everyone started laughing and i was like i don't what's funny and they were like you don't look like her and then i was deeply deeply upset and then proceeded to you know home change into an outfit that looked like her and pick stitch our pictures well it's hard posted on my instagram story and say do i look like emma roberts and which most people said no so like i have one or two people i look like max like can i say them yeah sure you look like tom holland that's flattering here i can't where do i show my shirt off do you see it identical in that picture specifically see yeah i do see it yeah um i i'll favorite that for future reference yes okay tom holland yeah and what would i know this one there's another guy from outer banks no um tom holland i don't remember who it was but i think it was anwar hadid which is oh yeah and you've gotten matthew mcconaughey i think that's more of a vibe thing like yeah yeah but like when i look at you i think amy winehouse i know you do were you there when and it's hard for me to say you look like anyone else because i think amy winehouse right i think you look like anyone else because i think amy wine right i don't really see it but i do like people will come up to me yeah someone came up to me this weekend yeah and was like i'm so sorry i have to stop you in the street yeah tell you that you look like amy yeah i do get that a lot yeah i get her and sarah silverman yes yes but i i because have strong features like great eyebrows dark hair thank you yeah that's really nice of you to which like both of those people do too right sarah sutherland specifically when it comes down to it it has something to do with me being 99.98% Ashkenazi Jewish according to 23andme.com and I'm sure that they are as well if I had to guess and I'm sure 100% I keep getting emails from 23andme that's like you have new relatives and it's new cousins that are related to me on both sides how does that so it's like they are related to me through my mom and my dad because when you're so much of one thing I do think I'm in I'm inbred a bit not in an offensive way at all just normalize being inbred I guess yeah totally yeah okay um what were you were saying I was just saying a balordy story yeah I guess that was horrible while we're here it's so funny because I excuse me I must have had a frog in my throat I'm just gonna tell a really quick precursor and then I you I just want to say the reason I brought this up is because the Evan Peters situation like freaks me out because I think if you were ever in a room with Evan Peters you would do the exact same thing that what I did to Jacob yeah I think I was being mild when I met him but basically what happened was I went to like a live taping of Jimmy Kimmel yeah and just like that anyone can do like you can get tickets and he was the guest and I was sitting front row and I was under the impression that we had a connection at least on my end right okay you can take it away so and that was like weeks before the stories that story that Connor's about we were at like an event the other night um oops and Jacob already walks in with Noah Centineo Centineo and uh I chatted with him for a second with Jacob or Noah Jacob uh-huh and then um he's with our friend Jack for a while and then every time I turn around Brooke is closer and closer to him like chest to chest he's obviously like eight foot tall huge dude and Brooke is like this like like staring up and I'm end up finally I was like hey Brooke and wait what did you what were you yelling at him well I was just like well oh I see you've met my friend Jack no that was the second night well at first I was like hey like so nice to see you again do you remember me and I was like a few drinks in I was like do you remember me and he was like from what and I was like from Jimmy Kimmel and he was like what and I was like I was sitting front row do you remember me yeah and he didn't but he was so thankful I'm sure he was flustered that he was of course pressure on Jimmy and he was yeah it was he did great but I was like oh my god I'm sure you're watching this um but he didn't remember me um which was a bit of a shock to the system and then I was like okay huge fan whatever great left and like then I started like having a few more drinks progressively and then this is when you came in you didn't see that first meeting but the second meeting was our friend Jack was talking to him and I think they were exchanging numbers and I just go up put my arm around Jack and go I see you've met my friend Jack Jacob and then I was like oh my god I'm so glad you're here I'm so glad you're here I'm so I feel Connor like tugging at me from the back do you remember that yeah because I would because you hope someone would do that to me too and I don't think I responded the thing that I do no the thing well you were fine but the thing that I do and you do is like when someone is there fixating it's like okay cool that's my night like I don't even need to see my friends I'm like no I need to go up to that person six times until I have the perfect yeah interaction with them trying new things with him yeah yeah yeah anyway when I did see you that second time I you were one centimeter away from his body right I was getting a little too close probably for sure but I couldn't hear him or see him it was loud he's no he's so tall that I he had to lean down and I had to it was just really I was trying to be polite right so that I would be able to hear him and he would be able to hear me yeah and that's it it's fine it's like whatever yeah have you had any celebrity yeah and I don't want to talk about I had one this weekend and I don't want to talk you did yeah I talked about it to me yeah this weekend I was with you this week and when I went to the show on Friday oh okay okay we can we can wait yeah um you watch any TV did you oh yeah that's all I do really the what's your favorite thing to watch on TV actually I will say we have nothing in common except Kerber enthusiasm for our love for Kerber enthusiasm new season blows ass really I think it's I think there are good parts and bad parts but you might not know Connor and I lived together for three months yeah um and he would always put curb on and I would like throw a fit and I was like this is stupid like put friends on this sucks oh sorry are you well Mike oh um just and I was like put friends on and I would like adamantly I was being really stubborn and wouldn't watch it because I've always been like Seinfeld because Seinfeld always came on after friends and that was very much like a signal friends is over and that I hated that visceral the visceral that's like Pavlov's dog response so I just like associated curb you look like Fran Drescher - that's another person that's really I love the nanny yeah one of my favorite shows yeah Thank You Connor of course um I'd go as far as but she's also 99.98% but what was I saying oh I was like really yeah you just you just don't like her and then like the day we moved out yeah and I moved in my own apartment I started watching it yeah I just like and I'm glad to see you had yeah a bit of a turn around there did you finish did you watch from like start to end with no I finished like a month two months ago I'm like that whole giant blanket while I was watching curb yeah and I finished when it was before season 11 and now I'm watching season 11 as you watch season 11 live time I hate that it's live time because you would rather just I get that I would yeah I like having something to look forward to because it's Sunday nights waking up every Monday to a fresh episode of curb it's just like not great this season it's kind of disappointing I think it's not great because it's like now it's been a long it's 11 seasons that's a long time to do anything like - and it's kind of the same thing over and over again it's a very right I just show I'll say like unrelated to this new season if I ever met Larry David I feel like he would like you know we would hang I think we'd be really very close oh do you really mm-hmm I'd be interested to see that I think like best friend vibes like not really I think you have completely different vibes no I see a lot of myself really I I don't know middler I'm a great middler well you're referring to how you have to be at the middle of the table yeah I agree you're good at that this episode it was about being a middler and where you're seated at like a long dinner table yeah I agree but I just I think you can talk and talk and talk and talk about random things but Larry's talking about very very specific things that upset him I feel like you're less complainy yeah you get mad at me when I complain constantly yeah I don't complain but I do get bugged by stuff right and I just thought I just bring it up like this you know what I can't do what when the table is a little bit wobbly I know I can't do it well I told you about that invention that's just like that little thing you stick under the yeah it isn't that related to your I I think I might have said that my mom invented that and I did probably I did lie you lied she invented a thing that was just basically a piece of paper that you would put your gum into I think that's what she says every time we go out is she invented maybe a wrap-up or something put something maybe it's pop-up it could also totally be uncle Jeffrey but I do feel that that has a tie to my family the table stopper thing but yeah so euphoria we both we both watched it recently we didn't watch it when it was trending but we watched it recently like last week we had different experience yeah I think that everybody goes through a bit of a personality yeah you're just exploring yourself and exploring what was your well I watched that and I was like I don't ever want to touch alcohol for anything like that's scary I don't want to be affected in any way like I want to be fully in control of myself yeah and I think you had the opposite I went on a bend you went on a full bender post you feel yeah I did every right I know I remember that it was an experience and then I was like oh my god wait that's cuz I watch that's what you're for yeah yeah and I yeah that's crazy that scared me that show oh yeah I thought it was sick I mean it was the best show I've ever seen but it did not make me want to do drugs yeah I don't know that's fine to each their own again to each their own difference totally yeah completely yeah it didn't I get Zendaya now so like I watched that show and then I was like I've never like not gotten Zendaya I think she's awesome but I like she deserves to be super famous I just like never I'm not like oh I need to watch this cuz it's not Zendaya isn't it and but then Dune comes out and I'm like oh god I need to watch right isn't it right she's don't think has a single line in the movie she had three lines yeah and I think she was only on set for three to five days or something and now her and Timmy are like best friends we bonded for life over this film you guys met for like two days isn't that crazy that was the film itself did you understand one word I mean I think what I've heard because I was watching it And I was like, I must be like, no, like intellectually like I someone's scary. I tweeted about it. I was like, is this sci fi or is it bad? And I thought it was current Middle East, present day Middle East. Everyone was like, what is wrong with you? Like that movie was brilliant. I'm like, I must be the dumbest person on the planet. Rocks for brains. I didn't understand. Looking up. I had the movie version of the Wikipedia plot up. I'm following along, looking at the movie. Looking at my phone for the Wikipedia plot. No, not one thing. You know what I felt like when I was similar vein? I felt like when you start reading a book and then you read the page and you're like, oh my God, I don't even remember. And you have to start over that page. And they didn't give us the option to do that. I'm like, what is, who? I mean. The voice? I know. I don't know. What was that? Where did that even come from? What voice? The voice. Oh, the mom. And Timmy. And Timmy? Yeah. You're not going to be able to help me. I'm not going to be able to help you. I don't know. It's like we're on a ship. It's. Connor, I. Thanos vibes. Like they're taking over planets. There's spices involved for some reason. From what I understood from the Wikipedia plot. Yeah. I read the Wikipedia plot to the whole book too. Yeah. After. So what I think it's basically, there's a lot of different planets. Yeah. And one of them, the ones Zendaya lives on, has the spice. Spice. And I think that you would want that. And basically. Everything but the bagel. Yeah. So you want that spice for sure. Yeah. Think of it as a planet of everything like the bagel seasoning. Ooh. And Timmy's family somehow became in control of the land of the spice. But they weren't there. They weren't there. They went to a third party planet to control the land of the spice. Because it would actually make them die if they were exposed to the spice. But they want it at the same time. They want it, but it would kill them. By cons. You know what pissed me off? Huh? You know what really pissed, really? When the dad died? No. Spoiler alert. What? Ooh. Ooh. Did you catch that the dad died? I didn't. No. No. Me neither. When did he die? He died. When Timmy started crying. Who's the dad? Oscar de la Renta? Of course. Who? Yes. Oscar? Oscar. Okay. I'm thinking they're going to pull it up for us. But. Um. Wait. Hang on. I have a question. Yeah. No. No. I don't have a question. You have a comment? I have a comment and a concern. How about Timothee Chalamet posting about Dune 2 the day after Dune was released? They had. I mean apparently. It was like Oscar Isaac. Oscar Isaac. Apparently Dune, what we saw, is literally just like a prelude to Dune 2. Tell me that before I see it, please. I want to grab somebody and be like. I want to grab everybody collectively and be like, what? Yeah. I'm right there with you. Yeah. Well, it feels like Apple releasing a new iPhone. The day after they do the thing on this, like Tim Cook being like, this is the new iPhone. And then like, we're like, yeah, let's all buy it. We buy it. And then the next day it's like, we got another new iPhone. Right. It's like, I don't even get the features. Yeah. I didn't really, really, I was scared for myself by how little I understood. When it ended, I was like. When it ended, I was like, when did it start? And what happened? Yeah. Okay. Anyway. Moral of the story, I didn't get it. You know what, Brooke? I didn't get it either. And that's something we have in common. That's like a cool thing that we both. Yeah. And I don't think we're alone. I'm not going to revisit it. I don't think we're alone. And I do think that the people that do understand it, like they should be escorted immediately to the White House. I think like, if I'm going to watch a movie about space. Oh, I forgot how much you don't like space. I hate space. Shoot. Yeah. Yeah. You must not have liked that, huh? I hated it. I was having a panic attack. And I thought the spaceships were tanks, like war, war tanks. I don't even remember seeing a spaceship. I know. Moving on. In the movie. Yeah. So Paul Rudd was voted sexiest man alive. Agree? Disagree? Agree. What do you think? I think he's great. I think he's hilarious too. 100%. Look at us. Look at us. Look at us. Look at us. I don't even think there's anything to say. Like, yeah, of course he's the sexiest man alive. I mean, come on. And it's, he gets better to be Paul Rudd and wake up every morning and look in the mirror and say, I look better every single day. That's, what a feeling. He just like. Like think of, even like when he was on Clueless, like cute, but not bad. But you know what? He was on Friends. He looked. He was the best. Better than he looked on Friends 40 years ago. Or whenever they filmed that. Like he gets better looking every day. It's scary. He must have the sorcerer's stone or some sort. Is that what keeps. People alive and looking young. Who had that in the Harry Potter movie? Dumbledore. Well, basically at the beginning of the movie. He's no Paul Rudd. He's no Paul Rudd. Basically at the beginning of the movie it was in the bank and then Hagrid took it and then Voldemort was trying to get it. Okay. You can watch if you. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, nothing. Nothing but good things to say about Paul. Nothing but good things. Proud. Proud to be. Proud to be an American. An American. Where Paul Rudd is the sexiest man alive. Yeah. Proud of my country. Finally. Finally. You have my vote. It's my president. That is my president. Okay. Oh, you were telling me about this. I don't even want to talk about it. Okay. That's completely fine. Kendall Jenner in her dress. I just. I just saw it. Seconds ago. I mean, I'm torn because on one hand, like if you are Kendall Jenner and you look like that. She's a spectacle. Right. And you look like that. Sure. Go ahead. Wear that dress. But I do think know your place. Know your time. The thing is like. That you shouldn't have worn that to your friend's wedding. She didn't. Oh. She wore a bridesmaid's dress that was the same as Gigi Hadid to the reception. The party. The reception, of course. Also. And the bride was still in her bride gown. Also. Yeah. No. No. No. No. She. They changed. They went to the reception and shook some ass. I think I get confused. Does the bride not wear her wedding dress to the reception? She changes. She wear it. You wear it to the reception. And then I think a lot of brides change into something more flirty and fun. Really? To dance. Okay. I could be wrong. I have never been invited. No. No. I feel like every. People just keep wearing their wedding dress. But whatever. Okay. Well. Different jokes. Different jokes. Different folks. Yeah. Yeah. Do you wear it to the reception? No. I'm like. You wouldn't. It's impressed for my wedding. Oh. She's in every. She's got headlines about this wedding. Well. Kendall. Because she's. That's why you get invited. If you don't want her dressing like that. Like don't invite. I. One of the most gorgeous people. No. I think if I ever wasn't even in the same room as Kendall. She. I'd. I'd ask for her to be removed. I think. Yeah. I would expect. Love her. But I don't want to be anywhere in the 10th. Right. No. That was me. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. At least you didn't almost throw up on Tyler Cameron. Speaking of. That's true. Yeah. It was rough for you. Yeah. And that was. From. We went on a. Plane. That did. 15 parabolas. Parabolas. For a Dr. Pepper. Campaign. Yeah. And they said to us. No one. Really. It's pretty rare that you would get motion sick. But. Just in case. For like five minutes in. I couldn't find her. They strapped her to the ground. Because we were in zero gravity. I was the captain of this. Plane. Like on her. He was so sweet. Holding her down to the ground. Well. And she's white in the face. Right. And then I was throwing up into this bag. And they. You have to hold the bag. Like. Because we're in zero gravity. On. On your face. Basically. Or your throw up will float. And Tyler Cameron. And Dale Moss. Are just like. Floating by her. And I'm just like. Hi. And she's vomiting into a bag. That was funny. Yeah. Okay. This is going to be fun. I agree. So. We're in the best spot. That our vast amount of followers sent in. Right. Um. To ask for advice. And we are so happy to give you advice. We're in the best. Spot. To give advice. Successful. 25 year olds. Yeah. We're looking forward to it. Going into this advice segment. I do want to say. No I don't. Okay. Go ahead. Okay. Well I. You know I don't have my glasses. So would you mind reading the first one? You can do it. So this first. Question. Request came in. From @Wheelspoon. On. One. What's the worst. And will not do the dishes. Been there. Two questions. One. What's your worst. Roommate. You've ever had. And two. How do I get them to do. The god damn dishes. Okay. Jump in here. Yeah. Tap. Tap in. I'll tap. Um. What comes to mind. When I think of the worst roommate. I've ever had. Was. Senior year of college. I was obsessed. With making chicken soup. And I lived. Yum. Yum. I love soup. So good. Yeah. We all had our own rooms. Yeah. Sorry. Yeah. Really. Do you have anything else you want to add about soup? Just soup is good. Um. And I had this like. Really nice giant soup pot. That my mom got me. Because she was really like. Proud of me. For. Learning how to cook. And making healthy meals. And it was like this expensive nice pot. And. One day I couldn't find it. When I went to go make my soup. And. Like. A pot. A big pot. Is not something that just like. Goes missing. Oh. Shit. It's everywhere. And then finally. I'm like. I'll check this girl's room. Like why would it be there. But she just like. Takes cups sometimes. And hoards them. Yeah. And I was like. I don't see why a pot would be there. She's using my pot. As a trash can. Oh. For. Q-tips. Dirty Q-tips. I. Can't make that up. Beat. Her up. I didn't even say anything. I just took the pot. And of course me. Like thinking. Oh is she going to be mad at me. Because I went into her room. Yeah. Without asking. Exactly. But no. I would say. That was like the most. That's vibe. Startling. Roommate experience. Sure. That I've ever had. And what I did about that. Was. Didn't speak to her. And was passive aggressive. For. the lease yeah sure yeah um my worst roommate experience was 2019 i lived with two adult men and they got in a fight and got restraining orders on each other and i had to be the medium between that to communicate because they weren't allowed to talk to each other even though we lived in a three-bedroom apartment right so that would by law they weren't by law they weren't allowed to speak and i hated them both anyway well i can't say that well yeah i can't i hated them both um and so that was crazy that's bad i had to like on the weekend stuff go to the police and to like finish their case and i was like i don't care if they live or die honestly like i definitely don't care if they're like buddies after this so that was it and then were they fighting constantly or not speaking to each other um one of them got mad so this was this is interesting actually so like one of them got really sick in february of 2020 or like yeah february of 2020 so it was like February like right before march which is when everybody went into lockdown and like we were hearing about this thing covid but it was like in china only like it was in the u.s and i was like ew that's gross but like this this guy worked from home already so he would like lay on the couch all day and he was like so sick and he was using all the dishes and i was like i'm just gonna not ever interact with him until and like it's just gross vibes and my one roommate was like dude he's laying on the couch covid is like happening like what if he has covid we can't be anywhere near him and he's using all the dishes and like leaving him in the sink after like glasses that we'd like touch our right did you have a preference in your roommates like did you like the one that had covered a little bit better no no no the opposite yeah yeah but um so i heard them one night i got home from a run they got in the fight and then i heard them hitting each other and then they got the one roommate was like they're 30 by the way right like three zero like like in their 30s now and you know don't get in a quarrel like figure it out right right like you're grown men you can they got in a fight because they also shared an amazon account were they friends before no no so they just there's so much wrong with it i could talk about that for an hour but wow okay and how would you like go about navigating that and getting them oh i got let go of my job the next week and then never i broke my lease and never talked so i guess what me and connor would say in reference to how do i get them to do the goddamn dishes is be passive aggressive and don't speak to them and leave the situation remove yourself buy your own dishes yeah well no well we are good at advice huh yeah yeah oh one well i guess one thing i used to do talk about passive aggressive this is the worst this is the worst thing i've ever done senior year my senior year i lived with five guys and any one roommate specifically was just gross and i was like you gotta do your dishes and it was just him every single time did you say that to him because i was thinking an option would be to say would you mind any time any time any time i would call him i'd be like oh my god i'm sorry like oh my god like my bad yeah well now i seem like a dick right and i was just like you're grow like so i started putting his plates like in front of his door of his bedroom like on the ground wow yeah yeah i mean i think like the first thing that a rational person would do that me and connor probably have not done is ask them to do hey would you mind pitching in a little bit more and doing the dishes like i think that's normal i have not done that when i've had issues no and i've had tons of them your car before that being said one of my roommates asked me if i could if i like super sweetly yeah like would you mind taking out the trash more and i was like didn't speak to her for three weeks i was like you yeah how dare you yeah how dare you yeah ask me that and i didn't take out the trash yeah and now i'm reflecting on that that's good yeah it's about personal growth if i had been in that situation now i would have said sure watch that space watch that space i'll watch the face for the trash and i'll be taking it out yeah well now you have grown i have growth i do i love living alone i live alone as well i know do you love it i don't know i know you're still warming up to it i don't know i don't know i don't know i like there's a spider in my house like i'm not going to kill it because it feels nice to have company yeah i will be killing them i love having no one near me i think cool yeah um so the next question is from jack reached her jack reached her my new girlfriend wants to come over to my apartment for dinner tonight but the only thing i have to cook with is my air fryer what should i do how do i impress her i mean you came to the right pair you came to the right just both separately bought air fryer air fryers and i mean it it changed my life not having to bend down to turn on the oven like that's like what more could you ask for that's what i love about my air fryer i could go on for my entire life like i could talk for an hour and a half about my air fryer actually my last tick tock i posted was you talking about your 60 seconds of me being like i'm stoked like i want to join a facebook group right like i want to like know everything i can do with this like i it's your baby it's my baby yeah like it is my son i want to know everything i can do with like i it's your baby it's my baby yeah like it is my son and i'm like proud of it yeah you know like i can't wait to get home and like throw what like whatever i have and it can do anything i think it would be really impressive to cook a full meal in an air something that you do that's interesting that i don't do is you throw everything in at once like quesadillas nuggets whatever meatballs empanadas all in one pasta yeah everything in at once i could throw oh my god so what would you recommend he make in the air fryer i mean you name it i i um you can look up online like full course meal via airfryer yeah there is an abundance of articles like you could do a steak you could do you could do ready you could do a steak two steaks whatever you can cook them at the same time depending on the size of your airfryer cook to perfection mind you it is it's just like we're so lucky to live on the plane of exists on a reality where air fryers can fully cook a steak to perfection like i'm i just got the chills a little bit it's getting really hot oh oh god uh and paul rudd's the sexiest man in in yeah alive yeah we're just right it's a special time um i do i would do depending on what your preference is i'll go i'll do a couple steak cooked to perfection you can do medium rare and there's settings on it i'll just like look it up uh and a baked potato and guess what you can get frozen greens from trader joe's or whole foods or something and throw them in there and you could do veggie you could have all the food groups you could veggie starch meat do you put your veggies in with your meat at the same time because there's two different settings no i don't yeah okay i was just checking because me has to be cooked right differently than the veggies so you would just move forward with the steak and the empanadas together and the veggies separate no no you would not stick together you wouldn't okay no so the next question is from michelle my smell um yesterday i woke up with a massive nosebleed and i got blood all over myself the only problem is that i didn't realize until i got to school and everyone saw yeah yikes how am i ever going to get my classmates to stop calling me bloody mary how do you keep your chin up when you're embarrassed when you embarrass yourself in high school i think like you just have to completely reclaim and own the experience and like instead of having other people call you i think like you just have to completely reclaim and own the experience and like instead of having other people call you you bloody mary you need to start calling you bloody mary you need to start calling you bloody mary you need to start calling yourself bloody mary and then it'll just yourself bloody mary and then it'll just yourself bloody mary and then it'll just die down because no one's going to stop die down because no one's going to stop die down because no one's going to stop no one's going to care if you care you no one's going to care if you care you no one's going to care if you care you know know know what do you think like i would just full send bloody mary like i would just full send bloody mary like i would just full send bloody mary you would like that's how i go to go to hot you would like that's how i go to go to hot topic and anything about that's like my whole thing is anything embarrassing that happens to me i'm posting it on tiktok yeah like i'm getting ahead of it like yeah for sure like that's a good everybody knows my most embarrassing like you'll know yeah if something embarrassing happens how do you go to school i mean i just don't really feel sorry for this person because i do not realize you're covered in blood well woke up covered in blood no offense yeah that isn't that is an interesting situation i had one experience just like that really yeah it's kind of raunchy but i'm gonna try to tell you yeah would you um i was in high school i think it was senior year and i was at like a house party and i got a bloody nose but i didn't know and i was with a girl yeah in a bathroom like a half bath so there was like barely room and we were kissing and i was facing her and there was a mirror behind that's terrifying and i looked and it was like darkish but i was like there's shit all over my face and then i like turned on the light and like it was all over her face too so we both looked bloody that's and it must have taken a minute to find the source too that's the scary i was like she bleeding or am i bleeding right i was bleeding it was me i didn't i haven't talked to her see in that situation i would probably like not even clean myself up i would just walk out and be like guys this happened to me um this did it this basically this did happen to me and i was just like right well i don't think those are embarrassing i don't either i think kind of sick i would yeah if i don't think they're sick but i don't think it's like ew oh yeah you know i think like yeah i don't think blood is like ew okay cool that's what i'm feeling okay i
