The transcription alternates between promotional content for Crown Coins Casino, which highlights real prize wins and a free lucky wheel bonus for new users via a code, and narrative storytelling segments. One major story features a listener sharing paranormal experiences in a family home, where the loss of grandparents and recurring noises are linked to emotional and physical decline. The host and guests discuss whether these events are supernatural or rooted in trauma, family history, or natural causes like animals or environmental factors. They conclude that while the experiences are unsettling, they may not be paranormal, suggesting instead that underlying emotional and financial stress plays a role. The narrative is interwoven with product placements, including a promotion for Cupid Mayo, the egg-yolk-based Japanese mayonnaise, and other unrelated content such as a vacation destination and a new Toyota SUV. Throughout, the tone balances entertainment and skepticism, using real-life anecdotes to explore themes of grief, home, and the unknown. Tony and Carol with you on today's edition of the program.
And how are you this fine day?
Well, I'm pretty good, Tony.
Here's a thing. So, you know, the theater that I write for and I bartend at Kathy and I've talked
about it recently on some episodes about I've always thought it was haunted, never really had
many experiences. But recently, and so like one day a coffee mug fell off the bar and hit the
beer cooler, which is like five feet away, how that happened. I don't know.
But the other night we were there and so in the back room, we've got on the shelf.
There's some buckets for buckets of beer. Sure.
And they're up like I kind of got to get on my tippy toes so they're up pretty high.
You got to they're on the shelf or they're not on the shelf.
So okay, maybe there was some weird thing and it vibrated off. But the other night,
the buckets fell off of the one stack of the buckets. The other one right next to it perfectly
find doesn't move. But one stack of the buckets falls off in their metal rather than just falling
straight down like gravity would have it do. It went out and it hit the ice chest, the ice machine.
Oh, wow.
Yeah. So it didn't fall straight down and went out and that's probably five feet because there's
you know, space there. You got to open up the ice machine to get ice out. So there's plenty of
space there and somebody can walk behind you when you're doing that. And it came up and so it was
like we heard the clang because it kind of went boom, boom. So that's how we knew it hit the ice
cooler, the ice machine. But I'm like, okay, gravity, like things wouldn't go when it falls down,
it should fall down. You know, it's not a feather that might have caught some wind or a breeze.
That's true. Metal. It should have gone straight down. Should not have hit that ice machine.
Do you suspect that maybe gravity is different in that building?
I think so. Or when there's something to get one of the girls was working there and she's had
several experiences, but she said she was there cleaning last week all by herself in the place.
And she thought that me or someone had snuck in without her not snuck in but come in without
her realizing that someone had come in and was doing stuff behind the bar because she sounded,
she said it sounded exactly like someone was setting up the bar.
So who do you think it is? I mean, is it someone who would have had that role at some point or
someone who just thinks it should be done better? Yeah, I think it goes way back before the building
was even a theater or even had a bar in it. You know how that area of town is they're all,
they were all old warehouses and old storefronts. And so primarily it was a big warehouse district.
And it wasn't apartments or houses anything like that. It was all businesses. I think it goes
way back to that. Okay. Why? Just because that makes sense to me that whole town,
area of town was abandoned basically. It was just empty buildings for, I don't know how long
years and years and years. I'm going to say 20 plus years. Yeah. And so just like a lot of towns,
they go in and try to revitalize an area and it starts off slowly and then it's a really
cool area of town now. But you know, you do see everywhere you look down there. You just see
these old buildings that they've renovated. Yeah. So I think it goes way back to that. I don't
know because one of my friends years and years ago, he was running the spotlight there and he swears,
he's on Indian sitting on top of the stage because a proscenium runs across the top of a stage and
he saw it sitting up there. Interesting. Yeah. Yeah. Just the Native American sitting on top of the
stage. That's weird. I don't know. But there's something going on there. So she asked the guy who's
there every day as the manager of the theater. She said, is it just me or have things been ramping
up lately and he said very much so. And they did just have a little bit of work done, new carpeting
and some work done around the theater. So maybe how to do with that kind of rampant it up.
That does seem to happen when things, you know, get a just it or change that sometimes things
increase in activity. Maybe that's it. I don't know. It's certainly a place that I would not be
surprised at the age and all the storied history around there. Yeah. That whole area of town,
it's cool. If anybody comes to which dog, good old town, it's a really clear area of town.
And what they've done is remarkable. It took years and years and years to do that. It certainly
wasn't overnight, but it's all restaurants and bars and shops and things now.
And goes theater. It's obviously and dead. I don't know. I don't know. But I'm just telling you,
gravity metal buckets should go straight down. They don't go out and hit something and then down.
I agree with that. I think we can agree on gravity today. Yes. Let's go to our first caller.
855-853-4802 is our phone number. Hi. This is a recalling. I think I just got cut off.
So anyway, so I'm going to tell you a story about my house. It's kind of a weird thing.
I don't know if it's so much goes wrong.
related or just paranormal, but um, so my grandparents built this huge house back when I was born
in '94, um, was completed in '94, actually. They did it at a very young age in their mid-40s,
both very successful lawyers, but on their second and third marriages. My grandmother is my biological
grandmother who is lived in this town, uh, that they built in, which is only about 15 miles outside
of Boston. It's considered the last fourth country in all of my, uh, in, in this 15 mile radius
of Boston. So, uh, it's, it's a very old town, very old. We have, I've had friends who lived in
houses that were built in the 1600s. That looked like nobody touched them or had proof served them
since they were built. So, it's, you know, it's got a lot of history. It's a very cool town,
but anyways, though, we, so my grandparents built this house in, uh, '94, in what is called
"good-dover valley." This is the only house built in the "dover valley." My grandmother, my, uh,
a great-grandmother passed away in 2013, and we've all lived in this house the other time,
it was like a salmon compound at one point. When they both passed away, um, they passed away within
about a month of each other in November to December of 2013. So, you know, we, our families always
kind of had, like, a black lab following us. I think I'm kind of sensitive due to, uh,
a traumatic event that included an avialty of, uh, using me as a child, um, that I didn't really
acknowledge until I was 16 years old. So, we've always kind of had this kind of string of
bad luck. So, in 2007, we lost, you know, my grandparents lost some money, you know,
we were very successful business people, you know, when my crash hit them hard. We, we lost
little funds to, you know, we do the house and whatever, but eventually we gained it back. Um,
it wasn't until, um, 2010 that things started going downhill. Um, my great-grandmother came
very ill with Alzheimer's, but, you know, she moved in with us and we could take care of her.
Um, I didn't really remember this until I was possibly 10 or 11, but, um,
my grandfather had been diagnosed 15 years before, uh, with prostate cancer, and they thought
they had removed it, but they didn't remove it all. So, um, eventually around 2013, the cancer
had spread to, uh, bones and his brain was a very tough, and so at the end, it was very hard,
because he just no longer, he was no longer himself. He no longer had the, uh,
he really became an empty shell, so it was very hard. So, he passed away in our house. I was
actually in the same room when he passed away. I was sleeping with my grandma in the room,
he was sleeping with a cot, um, and passed away. I woke up in the morning to basically the funeral
director in my room, right in the room with me, and telling me my grandpa had just passed away,
and I had spent the whole night trying to treat his fever. So, ever since then, we've, you know,
the family has kind of neglected the house, but there's this weird, like, phenomenal, like,
I don't know how to describe it. It's only been three years, and yeah, we've put in, like,
we've always done, like, a little bit here and there, but the house seems to be, like, I guess,
I guess it's becoming more crepid, more rapidly than usual. It's almost like,
having those two people who are such huge, uh, big years in our family and die, um, like,
as if, like, the life has been sucked out of our house, and our family, our family is slowly
breaking down and stuff like that, because of, uh, stupid little things, but it's like this,
this house, though, is also kind of reflecting the nature of our family. It's not even like, um,
it's not like we don't upkeep it. It is. We do. We do a lot of maintenance and stuff like that,
but it keeps kind of falling apart, falling apart. And, uh, I've definitely noticed that more,
like, activity, like, you hear a lot of weird noises. My boyfriend recently spent the week with me,
when, um, when everybody had gone on vacation except for me, um, he said he came home one day,
he was hearing really weird noises. I mean, granted it's a big house, but it's not old.
It's, uh, it's fairly new. And it's just, like, this weird thing, like, it's almost as if, like,
when he passed away, he's trapped in the house, and then the house is reflecting how everybody
has felt since he has left. And I almost wonder if he's trapped here because of the fact that
we have a stream that runs underneath our house. So I don't, I would love to hear what you think,
um, because, you know, I, I do hear him a lot, and I, I, I hate to say it, and I loved my grandpa,
and he was one of my biggest influencer in my whole entire life. But, uh, it's great for me now,
like, I don't hear footsteps. There was one, I even recently where I had my new dog with a
pig pole, who's got me this tough guy, and I heard footsteps and doors slamming in my house,
and I only say I'll one level it in the basement because it's completely finished.
But I was here, and I got third floor open and closed and footsteps. First, I was like, oh my god,
there's an intruder, but we live in the middle of the woods, and I'm very safe to come.
And with, uh, very little break things and stuff like that, I was like, oh my god, it's, it's probably
him, but it still freaks me out. Like, I grabbed a way to go, uh, and I walked up to the other,
and he'll be with me. It's kind of the easiest thing. So, I don't know, maybe you can help explain
this to me, maybe the running water theory is causing this, you know, negative energy to stay here,
or maybe my poor grandpa, there's not even, maybe something's disguising themselves. And as, uh,
my, my grandfather, and so you see the kind of my family and kind of the negative energy,
but now it's around the house that you should be one so bustling and lively to come and
decrepit it at a very fast rate for not such a small house. I don't know, maybe you can show
to someone on it. Uh, I look forward to hearing this. I hope I can go on the podcast or even just
meet email response or phone call back. Uh, so thank you so much. Have a great day. Bye.
Or maybe just discovering the joys of home ownership.
Well, I thought the same thing and there could be multiple things going on. It doesn't mean that
everything's connected, but I will say it does seem like, you know, like this year within a month,
I had two trees come down in my backyard. That's your three years, not one tree has come down. No.
Is it just bad luck? I don't know. I don't think it has anything to do with paranormal anything.
I think it's part of homeowners. But, you know, if, you know, the family, it sounds like they've
been through a lot. You know, did they have the funds to really keep up with what needed to be
done to the house? Mm hmm. Maybe everything's just kind of happening at once. Yeah, it might not be
paranormal. That, yeah, I mean, some, I mean, homes, I mean, she said it's not that old, but you
don't, it doesn't need to be that old of a house, you know, for things to start, you know, having
issues five, 10 years in, things start happening. Heck, even sooner sometimes. So is it paranormal?
I mean, you got to ask yourself to like, it sounds like there was a good relationship there with
her grandpa and loved him and she, he loved her and it was good. Would you really see him going
back and trying to torment you or tear the house down? That doesn't seem to make a lot of sense.
Does it make sense that something would be impersonating her grandfather? Yeah. It sounds like
there was a lot of negativity, you know, dark things that had happened because she mentioned abuse
and, you know, financial difficulties. You know, so I wonder if there was just, you know, number one,
it makes me think there's a very dark energy in this house, you know, so he passed away in the house.
And it does sound like something paranormal might be happening in there.
And if I don't know, I think I'd be like, grandpa, if that's you, yeah, got to go. You can't be
doing this to us. But I just don't, I got a feeling it's not all connected. I think there's
multiple things going on. I think it's raccoons. Oh, there you go. You could blame some things on
raccoons, some things on cats. And there you go, you know, that explains about every paranormal situation.
And now you can sleep better at night. Exactly. Exactly. Because like last night in the middle of
the night, and this happens frequently because I have some dog bones and dog treats on the end of
my kitchen, have a cupboard. And my one cat gets up there and just does like cats do just knock
some off. So I'm laying in bed here. Boom. Mm hmm. Was that in a few minutes later? Here's
something else. And I can get up. And it's just my damn cat knocking stuff off the counter. Yeah.
