Speaker 1Shall we have a word of prayer? Your name be exalted. Thank you, Abba Father, for the privilege you always give us. Thank you for the glory of your presence. We give you honor. Blessed Holy Spirit, we lean on you tonight. As you unfold unto us your word. We receive from you the spirit of wisdom and revelation. We receive light and illumination, enlightenment from you. And we are radically transformed. Thank you that you are well pleased in us. Thank you for filling us with your word. To you be glory in the church and in Jesus Christ throughout all ages. We thank you, Lord. In Jesus' name, amen. Hallelujah. Praise God. So I'm speaking on the glory of God. Praise God. Hallelujah. The glory of God. Say the glory of God. Hallelujah. The glory of God. Thank you, Lord. Praise God. So the word glory is a very wonderful word that you cannot use one word to explain what glory is. Because it has many facets, many sides. Many sides. The simplest meaning we know is when we speak of glory is about radiance. When we think of glory, we think of radiance, light, brightness, splendor. And it's true. Glory deals with radiance and splendor and brightness. God's magnificence. That's glory. But it's far less than what glory is in totality. Of course, the Bible speaks of Jesus being the brightness of his glory. And the express image of his person. So when we think of glory, there is splendor, there is light, there is brightness. And I'm telling you that many have experienced this kind of brightness and this kind of glory. You may have experienced it. But once in a while, there is the outshining or the radiance of God's glory on people's face. Or sometimes in meetings. There have been meetings where people have actually felt or seen go dust. The rainy meetings. There was a particular meeting where in the meeting, five service men entered the meeting to stop the fire. So when they entered the meeting, they asked the congregation, where is the fire? Where is the fire? And they were worshipping and they said, there's no fire. They said, no, there's fire. We saw the house burning.
Speaker 2That is why we've come to quench the fire. But there was no fire. It was something like what happened in Azusa Street Revival.
Speaker 3Yeah. At Azusa Street, five service men went with their five service equipment to quench the fire.
Speaker 1They realized that this is another kind of fire. Because the fire came internally in the building and also externally on top of the roof. So the whole building was in flame.
Speaker 3Pentecost conflagration. Everything was burning. But it wasn't destroying anything. It was a fire of God's glory.
Speaker 2So there has been occasions like that. Wonderful moments like that. And I think of individuals who had the glory of God upon their lives.
Speaker 1Glory. A long time ago, there used to be a missionary to
Speaker 3Burma by the name of Jackson Adoniram. And one day he returned from Burma back to the state, Connecticut.
Speaker 1And he was just walking, just walking ordinarily. And a little boy saw his face. He was just walking, but his face was shining. Shining with light. The boy was so amazed. Just by beholding his face, the boy gave his life to Christ and became a preacher. Later on, he wrote a book. Now, his name is Henry Clay Trumbull. And in his book, one of the chapter, the title of one of the chapter is What a Boy Saw in the Face of Jackson Adoniram. Just seeing his face made him a believer. Just seeing his face made him a believer and made him a preacher. Because of the glory that was on his face. We've had such things. People have encountered God's glory. There used to be a Scottish minister called Robert Murray. Robert Murray was a Scottish minister. This guy, it will surprise you, not once. Whenever he comes out in public, his face will shine and people will run and kneel down just by seeing him give their lives to Christ. So they have strange personalities. People saw his face. He doesn't even preach. They saw him and they went on their knees. He was a Scottish minister and they gave their lives to Christ just by beholding the glory on his face. If you've heard of one ancient mystic by name François Fenelon. François Fenelon was a mystic. This guy was a mystic. He was so full of glory. One day, they put a skeptic. A skeptic was in his room. Actually slept overnight in his room. The next day, the skeptic said that the way he saw this man's face shining, Fenelon's face shone so much that he says, if I spend another night with him, I'll be a Christian. He said, if I spend another night with this man, I'll be a Christian. So he had to run away. Yeah. One day, T.L. Osborne entered a shop. A supermarket. The moment he entered there, the shopkeeper ran away. Saw his face and ran away. So he thought there was something wrong on his face. So he asked one of his assistants, is my face alright? The guy saw me and he kept, he just ran away. And he keeps running away. So he managed to call him back. And he asked him, is everything alright? The shopkeeper said, when you entered my shop, your face turned to the face of Jesus. And your face was shining. Osborne said, oh, he lives in me. Once in a while, he comes out to take fresh air. There has been wild meetings. I mean, in one meeting by Kenny Higgin, the glory of God was over the whole world. There was a whole building that there was a visible pillar of fire outside the building before you enter. And a whole lot of people saw the pillar of fire. So, all of this is the glory of God. Praise God. But the span and the scope of when we say glory is far wider than this. Because we may not all experience the outshining, the physical outshine of our face, but that doesn't mean we don't experience his glory. Are you here with me? Okay. So, what then is the glory of God? Now, take with me to the book of Romans chapter 3, verse 23. Romans 3, verse 23. One of the most popular verses in the Bible, which I know we have all memorized. It says, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. All have sinned, King James says, falling short of the glory of God. Now, one version says, the Jerusalem version says, all have sinned and forfeited the glory of God. Forfeited the glory of God. To forfeit something is to be deprived of nothing. All have sinned and they have become deprived of the glory of God. Now, one of the simplest ways to understand God's glory is this. Before man fell, where was man? Adam was in Eden, is that not so? Eden was a country. It's a country. It's a kind of paradise. It was a place of the divine presence. Man was in Eden. Now, outside Eden, man had fallen. And the Bible said, man had forfeited the glory. But man was in Eden. David said, what is man that thou art so mindful of? Mindful of him and the son of man that thou visitest him. Thou madest him a little lower than the angels. And thou hast crowned him with glory. and honor some eight four and five that has crowned him with glory and when God made man God crowned man with glory and honor now when we say crowned we may think of him a crown on the head but the word crown in verse five is not a crown on the head the word crown is actually glory circle glory circle it's like a when you wear glory like a garment and when the garment surrounds your entire being where the glory and cycles your whole being and the glory is like a cloth so the word crowning is like a cloth in fact the Hebrew word is the word attar it's like the key word attar attar it's amazing it just sounds so Adam before his fall fall was actually surrounded with glory he was in cycle with glory yeah the glory of God you see every animal has animals have their clothing within you see birds animals have their clothing within human beings are the only race we have we have our clothing outside in wearing this means there has been a fall that was not God's original intention our clothing should have come from within not externally yeah so man's glory was from within and it sounded in coveting but in Eden was the glory when he fell from it and left Eden he came out of Eden the glory was forfeited and so if you want to understand the glory think of how Eden was before he fell because all have sinned and what forfeited a glory so before sin came into Adam he had a glory but after sin had come the glory was forfeited he was deprived of the glory so if you want to understand glory think of Adam before the fall in Eden what he experienced the life in Eden that is the life of glory in Eden he had fellowship with God fellowship with the Godhead the presence of God intimacy with God God visited him in the cool of the day communion and union with God he was in glory in Eden he was full of peace there was never a time Adam was worried there was no worry in Eden he was in the heaven of peace in Eden was joy there was that he could never see Adam and Adam is depressed Adam is depressed and he is joyless and you know he doesn't know what to do he didn't was a heaven of joy a place a cove of spiritual beauty so he can think of joy he can think of peace Adam was never sick in Eden there was no sickness in Eden in Eden total health total strength total health total strength so think of all that Adam was before his fall perfect joy perfect peace perfect health perfect communion with God there was no lack in Eden there was no poverty in Eden it was not deprived of any good thing in Eden it was fully dusted fully enriched yeah so all of these glories now beginning with his intimacy and communion with God and his presence and his peace and his joy and health and prosperity and every good thing in Eden together we call that glory but when man sinned when sin entered into man he forfeited the glory there came the case there came sicknesses there came weaknesses there came the sentence upon the race there came judgments there came all of it so outside Eden we see no glory the glory had departed but in Eden what you see is glory so all have sinned and forfeited the glory so if we think of glory think of Eden life before the fall praise God now understand that when Jesus our Lord resurrected from the dead it's so amazing that in John 20 verse 15 he appeared to Mary to Mary Jesus says on Satan to her woman I will pass down whom sickest thou she's supposed to him to be the gardener said unto him say if you have bought him hands tell me whether has led him now take him away hallelujah if you have bought him hands tell me whether has led him now take him away hallelujah if you have bought him hands tell me whether has led him now take him away hallelujah so this is Mary speaking to Jesus but Jesus first reveal there the first revelation of the reveal there the first revelation of the reveal there the first revelation of the resurrected Lord is that he refers to resurrected Lord is that he refers to resurrected Lord is that he refers to revealed himself as a gardener you know revealed himself as a gardener you know revealed himself as a gardener you know why the first Adam was a gardener so he why the first Adam was a gardener so he why the first Adam was a gardener so he first revealed himself as a gardener you first revealed himself as a gardener you first revealed himself as a gardener you know what he's saying Eden has been know what he's saying Eden has been know what he's saying Eden has been restored restored my robot car rather Eden has been my robot car rather Eden has been my robot car rather Eden has been restored it has been restored are you restored it has been restored are you restored it has been restored are you not glad Eden has been restored he not glad Eden has been restored he not glad Eden has been restored he appears a garden now you know when appears a garden now you know when appears a garden now you know when Jesus resurrected he Jesus was a Jesus resurrected he Jesus was a Jesus resurrected he Jesus was a record on the 17th day of nissan the sub record on the 17th day of nissan the sub record on the 17th day of nissan the sub because the Passover lambs were because the Passover lambs were because the Passover lambs were sacrificed on the 14th of nissan yeah and sacrificed on the 14th of nissan yeah and sacrificed on the 14th of nissan yeah and Jesus died three days three nights Jesus died three days three nights Jesus died three days three nights that was a 17th of nissan he was that was a 17th of nissan he was that was a 17th of nissan he was erected yeah that was the spiritual erected yeah that was the spiritual erected yeah that was the spiritual calendar do you know that Israel had calendar do you know that Israel had calendar do you know that Israel had two calendars the secular and the sacred two calendars the secular and the sacred two calendars the secular and the sacred they used yes several calendar on to the they used yes several calendar on to the they used yes several calendar on to the day they were living in it and got in day they were living in it and got in day they were living in it and got in Genesis 12 Exodus 12 God said this day Genesis 12 Exodus 12 God said this day Genesis 12 Exodus 12 God said this day shall be unto you the beginning of shall be unto you the beginning of shall be unto you the beginning of month so there was a new month which month so there was a new month which month so there was a new month which marked their spiritual history but prior marked their spiritual history but prior marked their spiritual history but prior to that they were they already had a to that they were they already had a to that they were they already had a calendar calendar so the day Jesus so calendar calendar so the day Jesus so calendar calendar so the day Jesus so what happened was that the day they what happened was that the day they what happened was that the day they came out of Egypt was a seventh month in came out of Egypt was a seventh month in came out of Egypt was a seventh month in their civil calendar but it became their their civil calendar but it became their their civil calendar but it became their first month because God says this day first month because God says this day first month because God says this day shall be to you the beginning of man shall be seventh month of the server calendar so the date is given in Genesis calendar so the date is given in Genesis calendar so the date is given in Genesis that is it is the same day because a that is it is the same day because a that is it is the same day because a seventh one became the first month you seventh one became the first month you seventh one became the first month you understand and the Passover lambs were understand and the Passover lambs were understand and the Passover lambs were killed on the 14th of Nissan so Jesus killed on the 14th of Nissan so Jesus killed on the 14th of Nissan so Jesus died on the Passover day he died on the Passover day he died on the Passover day he understand rose up after three days understand rose up after three days understand rose up after three days which is a 17th day so the day Jesus which is a 17th day so the day Jesus which is a 17th day so the day Jesus rose up from the dead was the same day rose up from the dead was the same day rose up from the dead was the same day the ax sat on the mountains of Ararat the ax sat on the mountains of Ararat the ax sat on the mountains of Ararat because the arc going through the flood because God do you know that in Christ what we have in Christ is better Christ what we have in Christ is better Christ what we have in Christ is better and greater than what was in Eden and greater than what was in Eden and greater than what was in Eden better and greater the glue glory is far better and greater the glue glory is far better and greater the glue glory is far richer than what
Speaker 4was in Eden
Speaker 1far see in the Bible there was something far see in the Bible there was something far see in the Bible there was something called a trespass offering in a called a trespass offering in a called a trespass offering in a trespass offering was the law of trespass offering was the law of trespass offering was the law of restitution which says that when you restitution which says that when you restitution which says that when you steal from someone steal from someone steal from someone or take something from someone or even or take something from someone or even or take something from someone or even from God when you're bringing it back from God when you're bringing it back from God when you're bringing it back you don't bring the same thing you bring 20% additional. So you have to pay back 120%. So whatever you had to give God, you didn't do it or whatever you stole from your neighbor, in restoring it, you add 20% extra. It is called a trespass offering. That is the law of restitution. A trespass offering. You know what Jesus did? All the offerings were about Jesus. Jesus, when he died, he fulfilled the offerings. So in Isaiah 53, verse 10, Isaiah 53, verse 10, it has pleased the Lord to bruise him. He has put him to grief. When thou shalt make his soul an offering. So in this verse, the word offering is literally when thou shalt make his soul a trespass offering. The Greek word here is trespass offering. Jesus died for us. He became our trespass offering. You know what it means? If we're owing God 100%, Jesus paid 120%. Therefore, you see, because Jesus overpaid God, what we are also receiving is far more than what we lost. So in Christ, we are not just receiving restoration, we are receiving restitution. Restitution is restoration with compensation. Listen, it will shock you to understand that God has gained much more in Christ than we lost in Adam. The truth is that even if Adam had not fallen, God has gained much more in Adam's fall than if Adam had not fallen. Why? Because of who? Jesus Christ. Because of Jesus. So God is gaining far more because of Jesus. That is why in Romans chapter 5, there's something you see. Five times you see the expression, much more than, much more than. He's comparing our state and the former state in Adam. Much more than, much more than, much more, which is used five times. The word much more in Greek means in. Thank you. Much more. It means innumerable, uncounted differences. Can you imagine? Thank you. Thank you. Innumerable, uncounted differences. Far. You see, man fell from Eden, but you know where we are now? And has raised us up together and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ. Which is greater than Eden. You know, do you understand that verse? Ephesians 2.6. And has raised us up together. The Greek says, and has enthroned us together in heavenly places in Christ. The word sit is to enthrone. So, we have been enthroned together. We are now equal heirs. Whatever he is, we are. And whatever he has, we have. Because if children, then heirs, heirs of God and joins heirs with Christ. That's too much. We are now enthroned. We are now enthroned with him. We are co-sitted in his executive authority. Are taken in the authority the throne represents. That's too much. Listen, when we fell, we fell from Adam's righteousness. But now, we have gained Christ's righteousness. The righteousness of Christ. It is far better. It's because of Jesus Christ who is involved. Far better. Now, we have the Holy Spirit indwelling us. Now, we are the members of Christ. We are his living members. Adam was not a member of Christ. He was not in his body. So, we have so many blessings coming to us because Jesus came. So, all that I want to say is that don't be so sorrowful that Adam fell. In Christ, we have something better. Do you know that Eden has been restored? And whenever God restores, it says, it's better than the previous state because this is God who is involved. So, I'm telling you that we can live in Eden even in the midst of this fallen world. We call that glory. You can live every day fellowshipping in divine presence. Live every day in total peace, in total health, in total joy, in total peace. You can live every day all consumed with communion, intimacy with the Lord and join him and living above the world. We call that experience glory. We call that glory. Praise God. All right. What is glory? Exodus 33:18 and 19. Exodus 33:18 and 19. Now, Moses prayed. And this is what Moses said. And he said, "I beseech thee, show me thy glory." That was Moses' prayer. He prayed to God. He said, "I beseech thee, I beseech thee, show me your glory." What was God's answer? And he said, "I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I'll proclaim the name of the Lord before thee. And I'll be gracious to whom I'll be gracious, and I'll be merciful to whom I'll be merciful." So now, we see what God's glory is. Moses said, "Show me your glory." The answer is that, "I'll make my goodness pass before you." God's glory is his goodness. I'm telling you that if you experience God's goodness in your life, we call that glory. You're actually experiencing his glory. You see, some of you are experiencing God's goodness in your life. That goodness you're experiencing in your life is glory. You may be experiencing God's goodness in your marriage. It's called glory. You may be experiencing God's goodness in your finances. It is called glory. You may be experiencing God's goodness in your career. It is God's. It is glory. You may be experiencing God's goodness in your health. It is glory. So experiencing his goodness is glory. Hallelujah. Praise God. So enjoying God's goodness, God has been good to you. As simple as it is, you're actually experiencing glory. It is not too far from you. It's not abstract. It's not distanced. It's not mystical. Hallelujah. Praise God. For instance, in Psalm 84, verse 11, the Bible says, "The Lord is a sun and a shield. The Lord will give grace and glory." The Lord will give grace and glory. When glory was mentioned, we see a colon. And it says, "No good thing will he withhold from me." "No good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly." No good thing. So glory is in God giving us good things. You understand? Good things. Enjoying the good things of life is also glory. Enjoying the good things of life is God's glory. Hallelujah. May you enjoy his goodness in every phase of your life. Taste of his goodness. Enjoy his goodness. God is good. Enjoy his goodness in your body. Enjoy his goodness in your heart. Enjoy his goodness in your mind. Enjoy his goodness in your life. In bodily health. Worry free life. Peace. Enjoy his goodness. I'll make my goodness. And in his goodness we have his grace and his mercy. They are all part of his glory. And I'll be gracious to whom I'll be gracious. I'll be merciful to whom I'll be merciful. The enjoyment of God's goodness, his grace, his favor, his mercies, they are all his glory. Hallelujah. May you enjoy his goodness in your life. Praise God. Are you following? All right. Let's see again what the Bible has said about glory. Let's go to the book of Isaiah, chapter 40, verse 5. But let's read from verse 3 so we can understand 40. Isaiah, chapter 40. A prophecy about John the Baptist. The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness. Prepare ye the way of the Lord. Make straight in the desert a highway for our God. We know this is a prophecy about John the Baptist. The next verse says, Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low, and a crooked path shall be made straight, and a rough place is plain. Then it says, And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall sit together, for the mouth of the Lord has spoken it. So this is the ministry of John the Baptist. It's heralding the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. So Isaiah is saying that when John comes on the scene, then he's going to prepare the way for Jesus. And the Bible says, And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed. He's talking about Jesus. Jesus is the glory of God. The glory of God shall, who being the brightness of his glory and the express image of his person, is the impress of God's substance. He's the stamp of who God is. You see, you have a rubber stamp, but when you apply the image on a piece of paper, what is here is what is here. Yeah. he is the very God of very God the very stamp of who God is so he says that in the glory of the Lord shall be revealed he's talking about the coming of Jesus and all flesh shall what? sit together now the Holy Ghost now interprets to us what glory is by using the same scripture that Luke quoted but let's see how Luke put it let's see the book of Luke chapter 3 I want us to read verse 6 but let's read from verse 3 and he came to all the country about Jordan preaching the baptism of repentance for remission of sins as it is written in the book of the words of Isaiah the prophet, that's what we just read saying the voice of one crying in the wilderness, prepare ye the way of the Lord make his path straight every valley shall be filled the same prophecy every mountain and hill shall be brought low the same prophecy and the crooked shall be made straight and the rough ways shall be made smooth the next verse and all flesh shall see the salvation of God but Isaiah said all flesh shall see the glory of God now the Holy Ghost is now interpreting to us what glory is the Holy Ghost said all flesh shall see the salvation of God so the glory of God is the salvation of God but you see when we say salvation it's not just being rescued from hell the word salvation is soteria all flesh shall see the soteria of God soteria of God the Hebrew says Yeshua soteria soteria is an all encompassing word for salvation it means deliverance sometimes you see the word deliverance and the word in Greek is soteria so it is an all encompassing word we have deliverance we have preservation we have healing we have health we have wholeness we have preservation we have safety we have provision we have prosperity all of these words are in the word soteria please I follow you that's the word soteria soteria is preservation soteria is deliverance soteria is healing Soteria is safety Soteria is prosperity Soteria is wholeness so it says that as I said all flesh shall see the glory of God but the Holy Ghost said in Luke all flesh shall see the Soteria of God they shall see the Soteria so actually when we talk about glory we are talking about all of these things to walk in glory is to walk in deliverance to walk in glory is to walk in health, to walk in glory is to walk in prosperity to walk in glory is to walk in preservation to walk in glory is to walk in safety to walk in glory is to walk in all of these divine blessings that's glory hallelujah that's glory glory so when the glory of God is upon you every sickness will go away it can't coexist with sickness when the glory of God is upon you it can't coexist with lack when the glory of God is upon you it can't coexist with you having an accident and something destroying you the glory of God when the glory of God is upon you you enjoy peace peace of heart peace of mind when the glory of God is strong on you joy in fact it could be in the midst of challenges and difficulties but joy wells up within you like the artesian well yeah there's a kind of wellness from within the glory hallelujah the glory in the old testament the experience what we call the visible tokens or hallowed signs of Jehovah's glory in the old testament there was a pillar of fire there was a pillar of cloud there was a pillar of fire there was a pillar of fire in the old testament there was a pillar of fire in the old testament there was a pillar of fire in the old testament The presence of God that is heavy or weighty with divine blessings or with divine treasures. Let's say a cloud. Sometimes you can see a cloud in the sky and the cloud is heavy with rain because of how thick it is. It is thick and dark. And you can even prophesy looking at the sky that it's going to rain because of how heavy the cloud is. The cloud is heavy with water. So it's going to empty themselves upon the earth. So when the kabod, kabod means weight or heaviness, is the presence of not just the presence of God, but when that presence is actually weighty and heavy with divine blessings and divine treasures, we call that glory. It is heavy, you see, not just the presence of God, but the presence is weight. It is weighty and heavy with every blessing, divine treasures within it, like cloud holding water to empty themselves upon the earth. We call that glory. That's the word weight. In the New Testament, it is the word doxa. You see, the words for glory, we cannot talk about all of them today because doxa describes too many things. Wide. Wide. One of the meanings of doxa is the word to descend. Another meaning of doxa is to distribute. To descend and to distribute. That's glory. So let me give an example. We are all here in this meeting and the corporate glory manifest. We call that kabod. Now, the kabod is heavy with every blessing of God. Like clouds ready to rain, ready to release, empty themselves upon the earth. So the presence is heavy and weighty. Okay, we are all here and we all have different needs. Maybe for you, what you need is wisdom for direction because apparently three guys have proposed to you and you don't even know which one to accept. So you are looking for direction from God because one of them is out, but these two, you don't want to make a mistake. So you want to pick by divine counsel. So you've come to church believing that some direction will come from God. You're also here because of a bodily infirmity troubling you. You have declared, you have fasted, prayed, tithed, done everything and this disease is troubling. So you are just believing that this disease will go away. That's why you are here. Another person is also here and the person is depressed. Yeah, because someone who promised to marry her after five years just broke her heart. So the depression is deep. Her heart is broken. Or something worse happened to you. So you are joyless in the presence of God. Another person is also here worried because he's looking for a job. Sent out 50 applications, but no one is answering. So we have. Several needs. Praise God. How many of you have needs in this place? You are looking for an answer from God. So every answer, every question, the glory of God answers every question. You see, when the glory manifests, think of cardboard. The cardboard is like the cloud. It is weighty and heavy with every blessing. Heavy with divine treasures. But cardboard is also duxa. Which means to deceive. And to distribute. So what happens is that the glory will discern your need. You came for direction. Because you want an answer who to marry. So you, the glory will discern and distribute wisdom to you. Then you, what you are looking for is healing. The glory will discern your specific need and distribute healing to you. And you are here, yours is worry. Because you are not being answered. You are looking for application. You are full of worry. The glory discerns your specific need and distributes peace. To you. You are also here. You are joyless. You are full of depression. What you need is joy. Now the glory now discerns your need and distributes joy to you. So the cardboard is the weightiness of his presence. And that with all of God's blessings and all of God's treasures. But the cardboard itself is also duxa. What can discern your need and distributes the solution to you. And that is the blessing of being in the church.
Speaker 4That is the blessing of the corporate glory. When we come and worship and serve. In the house of God.
Speaker 1Hallelujah. That's the glory of God. And that's why it's good to be in church. Because when the glory hits you, something has changed. Sometimes you may not even know. You may not even know. The glory manifested. Something was taken off. Something is gone. Something has shifted. The manifestation may take a week or a month. But in the spirit realm it has been settled. That is the glory. Hallelujah. That is the glory. But do you know you can carry the cardboard. The weight can intensify. And when you carry the weight. That means that you are carrying the solution to every need you encounter. The glory solves every problem. Every need. Every predicament. The glory has solution to it. Maybe what you need is revelation. Light inside. The glory will distribute it to you. Everything is in the glory. It is all encompassing. The glory of God. The cardboard. May that weight upon you increase. It is one thing for the glory to be in you. Another thing for the glory to rest on you. I take pleasure in necessities. In distresses. In persecutions. In reproaches. That his glory may rest on me. His glory may tabernacle me. And you can increase in the glory. When the glory increases everything changes about you. Even your relevance even changes. Your excellence even changes. Your peace escalates. Your peace is magnified. You are worry free. Your joy intensifies. It is something of God. Hallelujah. You are filled with his glory. Praise God. Can you please be seated. Praise God. So I have spoken of the glory. As Eden. In Eden the glory was experienced. And I have spoken of his goodness. Experiencing God's goodness. He calls that glory. And experiencing God's full salvation. We call that glory. Then the weight of Kabod is glory. Praise God. Well. One of the heights. When we are defining glory. One of the main expression. Of glory is that. When God. When God. Let me give an example. How many of you have seen electricity before? With your eyes. Do you know that electricity is in this building? But electricity is hidden. In fact concealed and confined. You can't see it. But look at all these beautiful lights. In this room. These lights. You know what they are doing? The bulbs. They are revealing. Bringing into visibility. What cannot be seen. This light is electricity glorified. The light is bringing into visibility. What is hidden. So what we see here is the glory of electricity. declared him who is in the bosom of the father so even in the incarnation when jesus stepped the soils of galilee the bible didn't say he was in the bosom even on earth he is in the bosom there is an inseparable communion and relation between the son and the father and this doesn't change it but look at the word he has declared him glory must be declared like the bible says the heavens declare the glory of god and the firmament show what is created things can only reveal god's divine characteristics but they cannot reveal god's person jesus came to reveal his person please i follow him the bible says for the invisible things of him from the beginning of the world are revealed romans 120 being understood by the things which are made even the eternal power in godhead creation even reveals the godhead so when you see the sun you should know there is god when you see the moon you should know there is god when you see the sea how can a body of water be one place and they don't spill over you should know there is god when you see creator things all of these when you see the snowflake you should know there is god the animal kingdom should tell us there is god the plant kingdom should tell us there is god everything reveals there is god they all reveal divine characteristics the word godhead here is theotis but when you read colossians 2 verse 9 it says for in him dwelleth the fullness of the godhead bodily the godhead here is also theotis but there's a difference the godhead in romans has the letter i see it's amazing t-h-e-o-i-t-e-s but the godhead in colossians doesn't have the letter i but it's the same word theotis theotis so theotis with letter i creation can reveal god's characteristics we can see that god is wise in fact when you see creation you can see he's wise is that not so when you see creation you can tell that he must be omnipotent how can the stars be hanging he must have all power so they reveal his characteristics his theotis but to reveal his love to reveal his heart it took a person to do that and that is theotis without the letter i theotis theotis praise god it took jesus himself so john 1 18 says no man has seen god at any time but the only begotten son who is in the bosom of the father has declared him now the word jesus declared him can you imagine he declared the father say declared it's a greek word exegiomai the exegiomai is where we get the word exegesis you know exegesis exegesis means to lead out like i'm doing out it's like interpreting a word from the original text from the greek explaining from the greek to give you further light yeah to lead out it's like something is hidden behind the curtain and the curtain is drawn away for you to see what really it is jesus nobody has seen god but if you want to think of god think of jesus because jesus is god so jesus is the glory of god he came to show us who the father is there are some people who think that once in a while if god is angry god will give them ulcer or once in a while if god is not pleased or they haven't they have missed their quiet time god can give them stomach ache there are people who think god puts sicknesses on them we should see it in jesus jesus never made anyone sick so god cannot make any person sick you understand if you want to see who god is see jesus philip said show us the father and it sufficed us he said oh philip have i been so long a time with you and thou has not he that has seen me has seen the father why seest thou then show us the father that's jesus you see him you see god so you can see god's heart how god anointed jesus christ of nazareth with the holy ghost and with power who went about doing good and healing all that all that were oppressed of the devil so jesus was what the word doing good is a greek word for feeding the poor and caring for the poor so jesus was caring for the poor then he was healing the sick it shows us that the father loves to care for the poor the father loves to heal the sick even the lady who was caught in adultery jesus didn't condemn him he didn't condemn him he says neither do i condemn you go and sin no more you see a modern preacher would have said go and sin no more so that you will not be condemned jesus says jesus gave her the gift of no condemnation when she knows she has not been condemned she can go and not sin again the father doesn't even condemn so whatever jesus does we see it in the father praise god just read the gospels you see jesus you see the father he came to unveil the fatherhood of god hallelujah okay now when you think of glory there's one word that you think of the word is righteous say righteous that is why you see the expression the richest of his glory the richest of his glory it appears in romans 9 it appears in philippians 4 it appears in ephesians 3 the riches of his glory the glorious and riches let me give an example how many of you love food okay how many of you love cooking anyway hey people are listening how many of you love food you love food i like the honesty and sincerity okay how many of you love cooking you love to cook so when you are cooking a lot of ingredients come together to to give you the finished product if you are drinking soup or any kind of steel so many things are involved to get a finished product that's how glory is glory is composed of riches riches now i want to explain what these riches are so when you think of glory think of riches think of riches okay the riches of his glory are what we call the riches of god's glory are god's attributes or the let me use the word virtues his character his characteristics god's attributes are what he has revealed of himself as true so we are seeing his riches the riches of his glory riches riches these things are what the bible calls true riches in your true riches are you following yes okay so let's go to romans 2 verse 4 romans 2 verse 4 all despises thou the riches of his goodness forbearance and long-suffering now here we have god's attribute here riches his riches are his attributes that is what his glory is long-suffering forbearance goodness do you remember when moses said i beseech thee oh lord show me thy glory and the lord god says i'll make all my goodness pass before thee and i'll proclaim after that in the next chapter god actually showed him his glory his back part the bible says and the lord passed by and the lord proclaimed his name the lord long-suffering abundant in mercy god was pronouncing his attributes god was just pronouncing you know god cannot boast that's who he is you see the lord god merciful gracious long-suffering now this is the answer this is he showing moses his glory he kept mentioning his riches his attributes long-suffering mercy gracious abandoning goodness and all of these are his riches okay are you following so let's see his riches so in romans 2 4 all despises thou the riches of his goodness forbearance and long-suffering so we see three of them here ephesians 2 4 so we see goodness forbearance but god who is rich in mercy so we see his mercy here we see all of these are his riches they are all his glory we see his mercy here let's go to romans 11 verse 4 and we see his riches all of these are his riches they are all his glory we see his mercy here let's go to romans 11 verse 33 let's go to romans 11 verse 33 let's go to romans 11 verse 33 romans 11 verse 33 romans 11 verse 33 romans 11 verse 33 oh the depth of the riches oh the depth of the riches oh the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God. How unsearchable are his judgments. So, we have his wisdom, his knowledge, and his judgment. Ephesians verse 16. Ephesians 3, 16. That he will grant unto you according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his spirit in the inner man. So, do not miss. His power, his might is part of his riches. Out of the riches of his glory, we have the strength. Hallelujah. So, what am I saying? When we talk about glory, the riches of his glory, we are talking about his long-suffering, his forbearance, his goodness, his mercy, his judgment, his knowledge, his wisdom, his power, his attribute. His attribute. So, let me give you what it means to walk in glory. When you walk in these virtues, you are bringing God. You are revealing God. You are expressing God. You are walking in glory. For instance, one of the difficult things to manifest is long-suffering. But long-suffering is mentioned. When he was declaring his glory, he says, long-suffering. He is long-suffering. Or despises that which is of his goodness and forbearance and what? Long-suffering. Do you know what it means? I love the Greek word for long-suffering because it is the word macrotumia. Where we get the word macroni. Yes. It's the word for long-noodle macroni. It means you have long temper. Your temper is not short. A long temper like macroni. So long-suffering is you have a roommate who is making life hell for you. You have a roommate who is making life hell for you. Always causing you to lose it. I wonder how Jesus could walk with a thief for three years. The treasurer of the apostolic college. Judah. A thief for three years and Jesus was still working with him. And how come Jesus made him a thief, the treasurer? Yeah. Out of their weakness they were made stronger. I'm sure his greatest weakness lies his greatest strength. Yeah. Because he could keep money but his weakness was that he was still. But Jesus could bear with that for three years. A roommate who is making life hell for you. You always lose your temper. You're always shouting, being provoked. Your temper is short. The macroni has been broken into pieces. If you go home, go and get macroni and put it on your desk. , but you know that in 1 Corinthians 13:4, the first characteristic of love is long-suffering. The Bible said love suffered long. That means you suffer mistreatment, yet you don't lose your temper. Now that kind of life is revealing his glory. That kind of life is revealing his glory. yeah then it talks about his forbearance or the riches these are riches you walk in long suffering you are wealthy spiritually i mean spiritually wealthy but physically it's like you are weak do something do something but but that's a spiritual wealth the bible mentions for look at forbearance forbearance means being satisfied with what is less than your deal let me give an example you go home and you are expecting your wife to serve you with wonderful dinner you know of your choice hot soup you know starters desserts and all of that you know now you get home and you don't know what had happened to her but she has saved you less than what is due you the food is cold in fact you're expecting about five pieces of meat but now you are even deprived of even one it's just one egg that is there and the food is also not microwave the food is also cold and that whole thing is bizarre now when you get home you don't know what happened to her she has saved you less than what is due you now when you get there if you lose your temper and you become critical and start complaining that's not forbearance that's not forbearance that's not forbearance forbearance is to be satisfied with what forbearance is to be satisfied with what forbearance is to be satisfied with what is less than your deal is less than your deal is less than your deal you are still there and you still accept you are still there and you still accept you are still there and you still accept it and you are calm it and you are calm it and you are calm this life we call it a righteous it's the this life we call it a righteous it's the this life we call it a righteous it's the richest of his glory richest of his glory richest of his glory the richest of his glory or you come to church maybe or you come to church maybe or you come to church maybe you are a bishop or a great man but you are a bishop or a great man but you are a bishop or a great man but the ushers didn't bring you in front and the ushers didn't bring you in front and the ushers didn't bring you in front and they had you at a corner the truth is that the ashes don't even the truth is that the ashes don't even the truth is that the ashes don't even know you so they put you somewhere know you so they put you somewhere know you so they put you somewhere but you smile and you are happy but you smile and you are happy but you smile and you are happy you are satisfied with what is you are satisfied with what is you are satisfied with what is you know it is not your deal it is less you know it is not your deal it is less you know it is not your deal it is less forbearance forbearance forbearance praise god divine virtues you know gentleness one of the fruits of the spirit is one of the fruits of the spirit is one of the fruits of the spirit is gentleness gentleness gentleness now now now in the hellenistic world the word gentle in the hellenistic world the word gentle in the hellenistic world the word gentle literally means literally means literally means not to throw the book at the boy not to throw the book at the boy not to throw the book at the boy but to let him from off the hook but to let him from off the hook but to let him from off the hook but to let him from off the hook let's say you've offended someone or let's say you've offended someone or let's say you've offended someone or someone has offended you someone has offended you someone has offended you but what the guy the boy has done you are but what the guy the boy has done you are but what the guy the boy has done you are so angry that what he deserves is for so angry that what he deserves is for so angry that what he deserves is for you to throw the book to hit him you to throw the book to hit him you to throw the book to hit him because that's what he deserves that's because that's what he deserves that's because that's what he deserves that's just it does it just recompense just it does it just recompense just it does it just recompense the guy has misbehaved so much that he the guy has misbehaved so much that he He needs to be slapped. You have to throw the book at the boy. That's what he deserves. But gentleness is, though he deserves it, it is not to throw the book at him, but to let him from off the hook. Instead, you get to him, you show him mercy, and you bring him back. You show him kindness. You forgive him and direct him, and you are favorable unto him. That is God's gentleness. So, I'm telling you that if you work in forgiveness, you are working in glory. If you work in bitterness and unforgiveness, you are being deprived of glory. You are not forgiving, you are not forgiving, you are being deprived of glory. But if you work in forgiveness, kindness, you let go of bitterness, you're always forgiving, loving, kind, that is the glory of God. These are the riches of his glory. The riches of his glory. They are riches. That is why I like Colossians 1 verse 11. Look at what it says. Paul is praying for the church to be strengthened with all might. The word all is all. In the Greek, it means all with no exemption. 1 Corinthians says, empowered with all power. That's the Greek, empowered with all power. Empowered with all power. According to his glorious power. The Greek says, even to the height of the measure of his duksa. The word duksa is the might of his duksa. He uses all the words for power. He is praying that we will be empowered with, we will be strengthened with all of God's power. For what? If you think of being strengthened with all, let's say you have been endued with all of God's power. To raise the dead. What we think of is the miraculous. Yeah. Prophesy, lay hands, heal the sick. Wonders. So if you receive a prophecy that God is going to empower you with all power. You are thinking of raising the dead. But you don't need all of God's power to do miracles. It doesn't take all of God's power for miracles. Miracles doesn't need such great power. Yeah. You don't even need all of God's power to even raise the dead. Yeah. Yeah. Now, he prayed that we'll be strengthened with all of God's power to do what? To work in patience. Okay. And long suffering. Okay. That's it. Strengthened with all might according to his glorious power. To raise the dead. To heal the sick. To cast out devils. On to all patience, long suffering with joyfulness. That means you are not just long suffering. You are doing it with joy. there is more power to work in. It requires more power to work in patience and long suffering than to heal the sick and to do miracles. You know why? Human offenses. Human offenses are hard to deal with. And the folly and the foolishness of sheep. It's why the pastoral ministry it takes what a pastor requires the most is patience and long suffering. To bear with all sorts of things and all manner of things and to heal and to bear and to have heart for it and to accommodate it and to be long suffering and to be patient and forbearing with joyfulness. That's why when God manifested He says long suffering. He was met with his virtues. Attribute. He said he is long suffering. Long suffering. This had his riches. So to work in glory you work in patience. To work in glory you work in long suffering. To work in glory you work in goodness. To work in glory these are the realities of glory. Hallelujah. That is a man who is spiritually wealthy. Show me a man who is spiritually wealthy. Show me a man who is patience, who is long suffering, who is forbearing. He is spiritually endowed. His spiritual bank account is on top. Show me a man who is losing his temper always. He is spiritually bankrupt. Hallelujah. Praise God. Hallelujah. You are going to work in the glory of God. Glory of God. Glory of God. Patient with others. Patient with others. Long suffering. Loving everyone. The love of God. Being kind to everyone. Being patient. Opening. Being gentle. Being good to everyone. Letting them from off the hook. The glory of God. That's how to manifest God. It's called true riches. But you see the glory of God when we say glory, the word glory is all encompassed but it is not only true riches. It is also material riches. It's amazing. Material riches is also His glory. Philippians 4 verse 19. Look at Philippians 4 verse 19. But my God shall supply all your needs. These are fiscal needs. According to what? His riches in what? Glory. So it encompasses true riches and also material wealth. You can't manifest in glory and not have wealth. I'm showing you different facets of glory. Praise God. Okay. Haggai chapter 2 verse 7 to 9. Thank you. I want you to see the sandwich. How many of you have eaten sandwich before? Sandwich. How wealth is sandwiched in glory? Now look at verse 7 and verse 9. Let's start from verse 7. And I will shake all nations and His desire of all nations shall come. And I will fill this house with glory. Seize the Lord of hosts. The next verse. The silver is mine and the gold is mine. The next verse. The glory of this latter house. So verse 7 speaks of glory. Verse 8, 9 speaks of glory. The better verse speaks of silver and gold. So the glory is there's a sandwich. There's a sandwich. Bread on top, bread beneath. The meat in the middle. Glory, glory, riches. Glory comes with riches. Isaiah 61 verse 6. , Can I give you another version? This version says in their glory. But the word glory is substituted for the word wealth. Now give me another version. Okay, alright. The NIV says you will feed of the wealth of the nations. And in their riches you will boast. But King James says their glory. Yeah, because the word glory also means wealth or riches. Hallelujah. Yeah. In Matthew 6, 29 Jesus says, Solomon in all of his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Yeah. Solomon's glory is his wealth. So where the glory is, there is wealth. It shall supply all your needs according to the riches in glory. There is love. So when the glory comes manifest, it means wealth is going to manifest. The manifestation of glory will also come with the manifestation of wealth. The manifestation of wealth. Solomon in all of, Solomon in his glory. The guy was well dusted. Well dusted. The Bible says he made stones in Jerusalem. He made silver in Jerusalem like stones. That's what the Bible said. He made silver like stones. He had 12,000 horsemen. 4,000 chariots. 4,000 stalls. Buildings for the horses. He received 25 tons of gold every year. In the last 10 years, one ton of gold is $65 million. $65 million, and he received 25. Tons every year. According to the Illinois Society of Architects, they calculated the wealth, the money Solomon used, the amount of money he used to build his temple. It was estimated to be $87 billion, and the priestly garments, $10 million in all of his glory. In all his glory. In all his glory. So it's like whatever we ever need in this life is encapsulated in the word glory. That is all that is necessary. The glory is everything. Revealing God. Talk about the character of God. Talk about the power of God. Talk about the favor of God. Talk about the peace of God. Talk about the healing. Everything is encapsulated in the word glory. The salvation of the world. Glory. The salvation of God. They are all in the word glory. The glory can also build an artery in splendor. Revealing the hues, the splendors of divine character and all of that. Hallelujah. How many of you love his glory? The glory. The weight. The glory. The glory. But the glory on you can increase. When it increases, everything increases. Even your relevance increases. Everything increases. Okay, so how do you, let me show you some ways where you can increase the glory on your life. How do you increase the glory on your life? 16. Psalm 16 verse 9. Psalm 16 verse 9. This is the psalm of David. This is what he said. Shall we start from 8. I have said the Lord always before me because he is at my right hand I shall not be moved. Therefore my heart is glad and my glory rejoices. My flesh also shall rest in hope. Say my glory rejoices. Some version says my glory. My glory is glad. My glory was glad. My glory. One more time. My glory rejoices. Say my glory is glad. What kind of English is that? My glory rejoices. Okay. All right. On the day of Pentecost, when Peter began to preach, Peter quoted this verse. Now let's see how the Holy Ghost interpreted this verse. When Peter preached on the day of Pentecost. Acts 2 verse 26. Acts 2 verse 26. Acts 2 verse 26. Acts 2 verse 26. When Peter began to preach, Peter quoted this verse. Now Peter called the same word from David and he says, therefore my heart rejoices let's read Psalms again and come back so you see therefore my heart is glad and my glory rejoices my flesh also shall rest in hope let's go back to Acts therefore did my heart rejoice and my tongue was glad moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope now he substitutes the word glory for tongue you know why? the key to your glory is in your tongue the key to your glory is in your tongue is in your tongue now in two ways the first one is in declaring in confessing the word death and life is in the power of the tongue that love it will eat the fruit thereof so if you love life keep speaking speak health speak peace speak glory you can speak glory you can speak glory your lips that what is made by the words of your mouth can speak life you can speak what you say is very important Jesus is called the high priest of our confession the high priest is waiting for the things we say the things we confess the high priest of our confession the high priest no confession you are not engaged in your high priest the high priest of our confession speak the word in those days without an offering you don't go to the high priest in the new testament without confession your high priest is not engaged the high priest of our confession the high priest of our confession the high priest of our confession confess the word confess your victory confess your health praise God keep speaking but in Acts chapter 2 something had happened to them that is when the Holy Ghost came upon them and when the day of Pentecost was fully come they were all with one accord in one place and suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind and it filled all the house where they were sitting and there appeared unto them clothing tongues like as of fire and sat upon them and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost and began to speak with other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance so they were had just spoken tongues when Peter quoted this verse that my tongue shall be glad it was in relationship to the gift of speaking in tongues I'm telling you that tongues speaking can usher you to the glory of God tongues speaking tongues speaking tongues speaking is the key it's the key to the glory it's the key look at 2 Timothy 1 verse 6 and 7 2 Timothy 1 6 and 7 Paul is telling Timothy passionate Paul is challenging Timothy Timothy Paul is telling Timothy yeah Timothy was afraid Timothy pasted the biggest church in the world in all of church history until David Young Joe according to church history Timothy's church was the membership was 100,000 the church that was in Ephesus it has not been equaled in church history yes he was a church pastor of a mega church but because of Nero he was Nero killed Peter and Paul you know his church members were dying weekly can you a pastor and every week you see church members dying and your leaders leaving you it's like he was afraid he was afraid and Paul wrote to him he said wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the word stir up means thou fan into flames the gifts of God which is in thee by the putting all of my hands you see we have the gift as a charisma we have the gift as the Doria Doria is the Holy Ghost as gifts to us but charisma is the gift of the Holy Ghost here he's talking about the gifts of the Holy Ghost there is only one gift of the Holy Ghost which you can initiate at your will he says fan into flames only one gift can be initiated at your will and that is the gift of speaking in tongues so I'm telling you that what he had in view is speaking in tongues you see because he's not talking about staring at the Doria but staring the charisma the gift which the Holy Ghost give for what reason the next verse for so it's a continuation the reason you should speak in tongues for God has not given us the spirit of fear because Timothy himself was in fear but of power and of love and of sound mind so tongues speaking can activate power tongues speaking can activate love tongues speaking can activate sound mind you can speak in tongues tongues speaking can usher you into the glory zone the glory zone when you are in the glory zone you feel like loving everybody have you experienced it you feel like forgiving everybody in fact you feel like embracing everybody you feel like you forgive everyone you love everyone that experience is the glory zone is being poured into your soul. Hallelujah. You experience the glory and of sound mind. What does sound mind mean? Sound mind means the saving of the mind. Your mind is saved from worry. Your mind is full of peace. So thanksgiving is a key. Praise God to usher you into the glory of God. That's why when you wake up in the morning, don't just rush to work. When you wake up in the morning, especially when you speak in tongues and you are engaging the word and you are confessing the word, mixing it up with speaking in tongues, you are stirring up so many things. Hallelujah. Okay, the next thing, the last thing I'll talk about that can usher you into God's glory, 2 Corinthians 3, verse 18. That's a last thing. The last thing I'll talk about how to experience the glory. But we all with open face beholding as in a glass, as in a mirror, the glory of the Lord are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even us, by the spirit of the Lord. Hallelujah. It shows us how to experience the glory. From glory to glory means there is an ever increasing glory. Hallelujah. How many of you want to experience the glory of what I've described? Okay, it comes by beholding the glory of the Lord in a mirror. That's what he's saying. In a mirror. Let me ask you a question. How many of you have seen your face before? Is there anyone who has seen his face before? Lift up your hands. How did you see your face? Okay, now, I know there's no mirror. See your face and let me see. Practically speaking, nobody has seen his face. You've not seen your face before. What you've seen is a reflection. But you've learned to trust the mirror that what you are seeing is you. You've learned to trust the mirror. In the same way, none of us, no one has seen his spirit before. Have you seen your spirit before? Let me tell you, your true self, what is born again, it's not your body. It's not your soul. It's your spirit. Who you are in Christ has to do with your spirit. Yeah. Two-thirds of you are unredeemed. One-third of you is born again. Purchased but not yet redeemed. He'll come for the redemption of the purchased possession. He'll come to redeem what he has purchased. We are his, but the body is not redeemed. But your spirit is redeemed and reborn. But you've not seen your spirit before, have you? So how do you see the content of your spirit? The way you see your face, through the mirror. That is how you see what is in your spirit, through the mirror of God's word. Are you following me? Now, how do we behold? The word beholding here, in context, is actually reading the Bible. Because, look at verse 15. Look at verse 15. Even unto this day, when Moses is read, he was talking about beholding Moses, the glory of Moses' face. But he says, even unto this day, when Moses is read. So his idea of beholding is within the word. Okay, James 1, 23. If any be a hearer of the word and not a doer, he's like unto a man beholding his natural face in a mirror. His natural face in a mirror. The word natural face is Genesis prosopon. Which literally is the face of his birth. He's beholding the face of his birth in a mirror. Now, you cannot see your spirit, but you can behold the face of your new birth in the mirror of the word. You can see who you are and how you look like in the mirror of the word. Please, I follow you. The thing is this, listen. You read the Bible to find Jesus. That's why you read the Bible. Because when you find Jesus, you find yourself. Jesus is your true identity. Now, who he is is what we have become. Listen. As he is, so are we in this world. Is that not in the Bible? In 1 John 4, 17. Now, when the Bible says, as he is, so are we in this world, you know what he's talking about? He's talking about you're born again in spirit. In fact, you are not like him physically. This body is on. You are redeemed. So, when he comes, we shall be like him. Outwardly, when he comes, we shall be like him. Does that not know what the Bible says? We shall be like him when he comes. It does not yet appear unto us what we shall be. But we know that when he shall appear, we shall be like him. So, physically, we are not like him. But we'll be like him when he comes. And in our souls, too, we are not like him. We still feel sad. We still feel mad. We still feel brokenhearted. There are many things we don't know. But when, he shall come, we shall see him face to face. We shall know even as we are known. So, our souls will be glorified. But our spirit is born. In fact, your spirit is identical with Jesus. It's like a twin of Jesus. Your spirit is created like Jesus. And put on the new man, which after God is created. The Greek says it's created according to who God is. Hallelujah. Now, follow me carefully. Your spirit that is born again. We've been talking about the glory of God. But you see, one-third of you has been glorified. Two-thirds of you is waiting to be glorified. Romans 8.30 So that you don't think the glory of God is far away. No, it's not far. Moreover, all of these words are in the past tense. Whom he did predestinate, them also he called. Whom he called, them also he justified. Whom he justified, them also he glorified. Question. Which part of you is glorified? Ask what's the thing here. You won't even want to fall asleep. If I leave you, you'll sleep. So, this body is not glorified. Look at how you are feeling. When your body is glorified, you don't have to bath again. You don't have to brush your teeth again. Your mouth will not smell again. You don't, you'll never feel hungry again. We are waiting for our glorified bodies. We are waiting. But, he says that we have already been glorified. Past tense, that is our spirit. Your spirit is glorified. You know, he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. You and the Holy Ghost have become one. So, there are no two spirits in you. The Bible says, he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. It's like pouring water in water. Can you separate them? It's an indissoluble oneness. The Holy Spirit is the glory of God. Your spirit and the divine spirit have been mixed. No two spirit, one spirit. The glory is already within. But, it ought to be revealed. The problem is not your spirit. The problem is your soul and your body. That's why when you speak in tongues, it releases the glory from within. It releases the glory from within. Praise God. Okay, so now, the Bible says we can be transformed from glory to glory. I don't have time to explain all of this. But, when you behold the mirror of the Word, you see Jesus and you see yourself. There is one thing when you see, you will transform faster. Do you want me to show you before I sit down? When you see it, you are transformed faster. Because that thing can usher you into glory faster. Are you ready? Or I should sit down? Okay. I just want to whet your appetite. Alright. This same chapter, let's go back. Verse 7, verse 8, and verse 9. For, but if the ministration of death written and engraved in stones was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not steadfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance, which glory was to be done away? How shall not the ministration of the Spirit be rather glorious? Okay. This is my verse. Verse 9 and 10. But if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory. The next verse. For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect by reason of the glory that excelleth. Hallelujah. Okay. Back to the previous verse. Now, he's talking about two things. The ministry of condemnation and the ministry of righteousness. When the law was given, he called the given of the law the ministration of condemnation because the law condemned the best of us. Praise God. That was the Old Testament regime. In the New Testament, in the New Testament regime, a righteousness has been given to us, which is a gift. He calls that the ministration of righteousness. He's comparing these two and talking about the glory of both ministries. Now, he says, for if the ministration of condemnation be glory, let me show you how the Greek is like. The Greek actually says, for if the ministration of condemnation came in glory, much more uncounted indomitable differences doth the ministration of righteousness abound exceeding glory. Let me explain. He says that when the law was given, the law came in glory. What does it mean to come in glory? Now, if I ask you, sister, how did you come to church? And you tell me that, oh, I came in Uber. Now, that doesn't mean the Uber is for you. But the Uber was a means by which you came to church. It was the intermediary course, the means by which you came to church. So you came in Uber. But that doesn't mean the Uber is for you. You understand? It says that the ministration of condemnation, which is the law, came in glory. It came in glory. That doesn't mean it had the glory. But it says the ministration of righteousness abounds in glory. It's like saying that, okay, I came to church in Uber. That doesn't mean the Uber is for me. But now, this guy has many cars. He's abounding in cars. That means he has so many cars. So when it comes to the law, the law came in glory. But the ministry of righteousness abounds in glory. Okay. Praise God. The next verse. He says that, for even that which was made glorious had no glory at all in this respect. You see, the law, you may think it's glorious, but when you bring it to, touch light can be very effective when there is darkness. But when the sun is out, it is useless. So under the law, in the Old Testament, the law seemed to have glory. But when righteousness came, if you bring the law to righteousness, it has no glory at all in this respect. Okay. By reason of the glory that excelleth. Now, he uses the word excelleth. Now, the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory. When you are conscious of your righteousness, you will exceed in glory. You will have, you will abound in glory. When you are conscious of your righteousness in Christ, the glory abounds. You will exceed in glory. You will exceed. He says, it is the glory that excelleth. The word exceed in glory, in the Greek, is in the present active participle, which is in progressive things. That means that it is constantly increasing. It is constantly exceeding. It is, there is a glory, the law is constantly reducing, but the glory of righteousness is constantly multiplying. It's constantly excelling. It's constantly exceeding. So, he's saying that to work in high glory is in righteousness. You should know how your righteousness in Christ. You open a Bible, the grand revelation of the New Testament is our righteousness in Christ. and this righteousness is the glory that excelleth. It's exceed in glory. The word exceed is hypabalo. The glory of righteousness is serious. Hypabalo is where you get the word hyperbole. The word hypah in Greek means over, above, and beyond what is necessary. With a little on top of it. Yeah. The Greek says the degree that exceeds extraordinary. So he's saying that righteousness. Praise God. Righteousness. So your spirit has been made righteous. Now to see we all beholding. The Greek says beholding and reflecting. You cannot see your face. You behold the wonders of God. You see yourself. You see the glory as you see it is reflected. You are the righteousness. If you work in righteousness consciousness you increase in the glory. All the things I've said you increase in the glory. Because righteousness is the glory that excelleth. It's exceeding glory. I hope you understand righteousness. You are the righteousness of God. But many people. Give me 2nd Romans 5.17. Romans 5.17. Until. Look at what this is. By one man's offense. So this is it. See what Jesus did. Many people don't even understand righteousness in the New Testament. Okay. Let's go to verse 19. And I come to verse 17. Verse 19. How did you become a sinner? You are not a sinner because you sinned. It's true or false. The Bible says you are a sinner because somebody sinned. So when you were born you were automatically a sinner. So as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners. So you are a sinner because of Adam. So by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. So you are righteous by someone's obedience. You are not righteous by your obedience. People don't understand righteousness in the New Testament category. You are not righteous by obedience. That doesn't qualify you. You are righteous by his obedience. Righteousness is not right living. But righteousness produces right living. Righteousness, we have been given the gift of righteousness. Praise God. Oh my, my, my, my, my, my, my, my. If you understand this righteousness consciousness, you walk in glory. You will walk in glory. You walk in the virtues easily and all the blessings. Glory to glory is the glory of condemnation to the glory of righteousness. Exceeding glory. Verse 17, let me end with verse 17. For if by one man's offense death reigned, he says death reigned, much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign as kings. The Greek says those who receive the gift of righteousness is a gift. Shall reign as king in life. Many are not reigning as kings. They can't reign. Pornography reigns over them. They cannot reign. Addiction reigns over them. They cannot reign. Poverty reigns over them. They cannot reign. Depression reigns over them. They cannot reign. But there is a way we can reign. By the gift of righteousness. Those who receive. Abundance of grace, the Greek says, is even the gift of righteousness. Oh my. Let me close. Those who receive. The word receive is lambano. It means to take hold of it. Now, you have been made righteous, but to take hold of it. Righteousness, consciousness. And the word receive is in the present active participle. Those who are constantly taking hold of their righteousness. Now, ordinarily, you are righteous in your spirit. But when you wake up in the morning, everything is disqualifying you in life. The devil is condemning you. Your own conscience is condemning you. Everything is disqualifying you. Even if you pray one hour, the devil says, shame on you. You could have done two hours. Even if you read one chapter, the devil comes to accuse you for not reading three chapters. I said, Pastor, why are you reading only one chapter? Everything disqualifies you. Your feelings doesn't make you. Your feelings doesn't tell you you are righteous. That's why we are righteous by faith, not by feeling. But if you can take hold of this consciousness of righteousness. That is what your spirit is. The Bible says, the glory will exceed. This righteousness, it says, it abounds in glory. Hallelujah. So, go and meditate. Meditate on it. Yeah. So, I have two ways. Speak in tongues and declare the word. Keep speaking. Speak in tongues. Keep speaking. And walk in the consciousness of your righteousness in Christ. That's how we reign. We reign in life. Hallelujah. The glory has come. The glory is here. The Holy Ghost is in our spirit. The glory is arise, shine. For the light has come.
Speaker 4And the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. For behold, the darkness hath covered the earth, and clothed darkness the people. Then shalt thou see and flow together, and your hearts shall be enlarged. Because the abundance of the seas shall be converted unto thee. Raba, shamba, rabba, kumbara, samba, revu, samba. Vele.
