The Fake NFL Player Who Scammed Women Out of $1.3 Million: Daejon Love EXPOSED

Now, the case I have for you guys today is one that is unfolding as I'm speaking, and I'm sure if you're on social media at all, you have likely seen at least something about this case, and a lot of what's being posted is the same things, the funniest parts of it all, because it is quite funny, also quite serious and sad. But there is so much more detail to this case than what's being talked about the most. So I wanted to dive into it for myself, because I was so curious about how this man pulled off such a massive scam. The whole thing is just absolutely insane. And if you haven't heard of it, today's episode we're going to be going over the recently busted NFL investor fraud scheme that was run by a guy named Dejan Love, and also, which a lot of people don't know about this, but he had a co-conspirator, and his name is Taylor Jamie Chan, and the FBI has been actively investigating them. And yes, the FBI is the agency in charge of this case, if that tells you anything about just how big this whole thing got. But boy, did they really expose a massive piece of shit, two massive pieces of shit with this investigation? Dejan is the scumious type of scum, like truly sociopathic in the way that he manipulated so many women. He not only faked being in the NFL, among quite a few other things that we will go over, but he also created this whole fraudulent online persona to trick women into believing him. And then after manipulating them and gaining their trust, he and Taylor would convince these women to hand over thousands of dollars, and they told them that they would invest it on their behalf. The lengths that these two went to in order to do what they did is honestly frightening. And I think it's also an important cautionary tale, and just another reminder in this day and age that you truly can't believe anything you see online these days. There are many women who fell victim to their scum, and I will be going over a few of their stories today that have been publicly confirmed as being true accounts of what they went through, and it is just horrible. I mean, these women were emotionally and financially manipulated. Before driving into the details of the case, I wanted to quickly let you know that we just dropped our fall and Halloween merch. And with that, let's get into today's case, and dive into the details of this wide deceiver, you could say. And honestly, I'm surprised at how much information is already out despite how recently this case became public. And like with any case, I want to start by rewinding time a little bit to the beginning of this story, which, according to the criminal complaint, began in February of 2022. If I'm being honest though, Dejan has clearly been scamming and manipulating women for years before that. If not financially, then definitely, emotionally. Now, I'm going to be sticking mainly to what has happened in the last several years, though, just because there is so much bullshit to go over in such a short amount of time. But here's the big picture, okay? According to the criminal complaint, this game took place from at least February 2022 to at least March of 2026. So a little over four years. And during that time, Co-Defendant, stage on love and Taylor Jamie Chan conspired to obtain money from their victims under the false pretense that their money would be used for personal investments. And I think that's also a huge misconception that I'm seeing online. I'm seeing a lot of shaming towards the women who fell victim to this scam because people are like, if he was posing as a football player and asking you for money, why would you have believed him? But that's not the way he operated. Now, the document identified 26 victims across several different states, including Washington, Oregon, and California. And ultimately, both defendants are facing federal charges, including wire fraud and conspiracy to commit wire fraud. So how did they do it? What was this crazy scheme and how did they pull it off? Well, at the most basic level, this started as a love con. 35-year-old Dejan Love, and yes, by the way, the irony of his last name isn't lost on me. But he is accused of creating multiple fake personas on various dating apps, including Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, Facebook dating, most of the popular ones, you know. And then he'd pretend to date these women and gain their trust. And then once the romance and the trust, the love bombing was all established, he would bring the financial con into the picture, which brings me to 18-year-old Taylor Chan, whose role in this is equally as calculated and messed up. And it's, I see why on social media, Dejan's getting most of the posting and everything. And I feel that a lot of people at this point don't even know that there was someone else involved. But yeah, he is just as bad. Once Dejan would get these women to trust him, he would flex his wealth, his luxurious lifestyle, make it seem like he was living the absolute dream. And then, more or less, he would tell them that if they wanted to get in on that wealth that he had accumulated, they could make money just like him if they just listened to him. And a chunk of his money, he said, came from investing. And then of course, there was the whole I'm an NFL player. And my family is from Switzerland. And we are rich real estate developers piece to it, which I think is another thing that people haven't really been talking about much online. I've seen it seems like most of the focus in social media posts are about the NFL part of the scam. But there was a whole other side to it as well. And I'll get more into the nuances shortly, but the investments were a big part of their scheme. And that's where Taylor was introduced to these women as Dejan's financial advisor. The two of them would show these women completely fake investment accounts to convince them of Dejan's success. And really reel them in. It was kind of like, look, what we were able to do for him. You know, he's live in large. And we could do that for you too. You could be living just like him one day. And all they had to do to obtain a lifestyle like that was transfer money over to Dejan or Taylor. And they would take care of it. And it worked. In total, they were able to defraud these women of $1.3 million. And according to the criminal complaint, the majority of these funds were transferred via Apple Pay, Venmo, Zell, you know, those types of platforms. And in many instances, these women were told that they would see their money grow, see a return on their investments in just a matter of weeks. If not, days. But as you could probably guess, none of their money was actually invested. And none of them ever received investment proceeds back. So here are these innocent women thinking that, first of all, they're in a relationship with a successful NFL player and real estate developer. And second of all, that they are going to find a shit ton of success themselves through these so-called investments. But it was all a big fat lie. And I think in hindsight, of course, it's easier for random people to judge these women and make fun of them, which I've seen a lot of that. But Desjon truly went to outrageous lengths to make his lifestyle seem real. And there are several elements to this story that could convince someone that they were really falling for this person who had their best interest in mind and also was very successful. There really are a lot of details to this that people don't know about to help you understand why he was so believable and what better place to start. Then Desjon pretending to be an NFL player, which, of course, easily takes the cake as the craziest claim this guy made. Actually, I just got to say one thing for me personally, that really took the cake was him having a cake made for himself. It's even in the shape of a jersey with his number, number seven, and love written across the pack. It's just like one of the most pathetic things I've ever seen. I just could not get over this. I thought that was so funny and so pathetic, so sad. I just, wow, dude, wow. Now, you would think in this digital age that if someone made a claim as bold as being a wide receiver for. the 49ers that they would have to be pretty confident that the internet would back them up, right? And for Dejan, he seemed pretty confident. He had manipulated his social media and the internet, which I will explain later, so strategically that if you didn't know a lot about football, that you may actually believe he was telling the truth. And it wasn't just the photos and the videos that he posted of himself wearing 49ers gear, which we will go over all that because it's hilarious. But even when you just googled his name for some people, it would show up as if he was in the NFL. And a lot of us take Google, especially Google's AI as the truth or AI in general, which big problem, big topic of its own. But if the internet is backing up his claims as well, that's enough for a lot of people. They're thinking this has to be real then. And it's wild to think about somehow he did trick Google. But how did he do that? Listen to this. Okay, here's a quote from the criminal complaint. Due to Love's false social media representations, search engines and artificial intelligence occasionally stated that Love was a bonafide 49ers player. In January of 2026, investigators entered Love's first and last name into search engines and found that results did in fact sometimes depict Love as a player for the 49ers. And here's a screenshot of the criminal complaint from January of 2026 showing that when you look up his name and 49ers, the 49ers roster website appears. Although to be clear, his name never actually shows up on the roster, but the fact that it popped up was convincing for a lot of people. And then another screenshot that is circulating online, but doesn't appear in the criminal complaint, shows that the AI overview on Google, if you search Daejeon's name says that he's a wide receiver for the 49ers. I mean, that's the first thing that pops up when you search anything on Google. I mean, I'm definitely guilty of stopping my search once I see that first little AI overview from Google when you make any search these days, thinking, okay, that has got to be true. And this story is teaching me a lot. You know, you really can't believe pretty much anything these days, which is, um, absolutely insane. But yeah, he literally had his whole story, this whole fake persona being backed up by the internet. And that just further legitimized his massive lie, not to mention his own social media accounts of which he actually had many of over the years. Daejeon had created multiple accounts over the course of this scheme. And on each of those accounts, he bought followers to further prove his legitimacy. And on these accounts, he would post photos and videos of himself in 49ers gear in a variety of settings to make it seem like he was on the team. Dude, I bet this guy has the biggest bill for the 49ers merch store. And these accounts, of course, have been taken down or deactivated. So what we have to look at at this point are screenshots and screen recordings that others have taken. But yeah, the shit that he posted was wild and just really funny looking back on it. And then another thing that everyone is just dunking on him for is that he was always either wearing or carrying his fuck ass helmet. And apparently his fake helmet cost him $1,000. I mean, I know people who do cosplay that have spent less on their entire outfit. And then there's also this one video that I'm sure a lot of you have seen where he was dead ass pretending to run drills on the beach, wearing what the criminal complaint describes as quote, a replica 49ers football helmet. And as I'm sure you've probably seen, people have absolutely been ripping his ass a new one for these videos saying he doesn't look nearly shredded enough to be an NFL player. And I think that's what's really one of the funniest parts of this whole thing is that he clips that he shared of him playing football or practicing are just laughable. And also, can you imagine seeing a grown-ass man just playing football on the beach with his friends or doing drills? But he's wearing a helmet. If I saw that, I would think damn, your friend must be really bad at throwing or you are fucking terrible at catching him wearing his helmet everywhere. It just reminds me of my daughter like wearing her Elsa costume to the grocery store. And what also really sends me is that in this video, he repeats showing like the same two highlights of him catching this pass. It's like, is that the only footage you had? Is that the only catch you've been able to actually catch to actually receive? Or could you not have gotten your friend to throw you a few more passes for some extra footage? Or maybe he was just pretty winded after the first two, honestly. For me, fall, even though I haven't been in school for years, thank goodness, fall is still about getting into the routine for me. In addition to that video, he also posted to his Instagram stories pretending to be in the locker room or on the sidelines at games, really just trying to sell that he was who he said he was. And then there are videos that he's posted just talking about being in the NFL, which honestly you just got to hear this shit for yourself. I'm on my way to get my mom. I know I get a lot of fans who want to know how football works. What fans are asking you how football works. Like that, I know it's difficult now since switching teams and stuff like that. But I just want to give some context because I know a lot of people don't understand how the NFL works. But if you know me and see me in person, I will explain. This is for the kids. This is for the people who want to understand more about my story and get another side of the story outside of just getting trapped into the NFL. So I'll go ahead and lock in for the people who do want to know who want to follow me. Okay, so those two screenshides posted and that's Google. That's not me. That's Google. And I know a lot of people before that before it translated over to Google was wondering, you know, who was this guy? You know, like I said, a lot of people think getting trapped into the NFL is you get drafted into the NFL, but there's other ways to faith. So this is my finger. I can't really fully bend it. I'm a lot better now than I was when it first broke and because I did not just fall in the league the normal way, that was an issue. So I had to get that fixed. And as you can see, it's a lot better than what it was. I can't bend it. Am I missing something? Is he not bending it? I'm a lot better now than I was when it first broke. And because I didn't get involved in the league the normal way, that was an issue. I'm able to actually bend it in for that. I was only able to move it like that. So I know that clip got cut off kind of weird. And yes, we talked about the finger for a second. Let me explain that his story based on his own videos that he wasn't drafted to the NFL, like a lot of players were. He's different. His story was that he was invited to try out. And when women would question why he wasn't on the roster, he claimed he broke his pinky finger as you just heard him say, which I got to say it is really giving bone spurs. But yeah, that's why he said he wasn't playing, but he was still on the practice squad and still had to travel with the team and do workouts and all of that. Now, I have a leaked voice memo that I'm going to play for you where you can tell that whoever is talking to him is definitely questioning his story. And this would end up being a pattern that happened with basically every woman. He would get scarily defensive whenever they expressed doubt. Most men don't understand how the NFL or professional sports work. unless you've actually played for a duration of time in a professional sport, more specifically the NFL. With the NFL, bro, it's more to being on the roster. There's waivers, there's petitions, and what a waiver is is there's three parts to a waiver. There's a physical part to a waiver, there's a mental part to a waiver, and there's an emotional part to a waiver. So the emotional part is making sure that you get psychologically analyzed to where you not know crash out. You're not going to kill none of the teammates, you're not going to bring a gun, you're not going to be on some crazy shit unstable, flashing on the fan, getting the team suit, just making sure your mental health is right 'cause it's a physical sport. You getting banged up all that type of shit. So boom, that's number one. Number two is the physical part of it, which means that you have to clear every waiver. You can't have no ligaments torn, you can't have no broken bones, you can't have fractures, dislocations, any sicknesses, we could be health, heart problems, anything. You can't have any issues whatsoever because you can sue the team for wrongful death or whatever the case may be. The last part is, so that's the physical part, that's the emotional part I explained, and there's the mental part. So mental ties in low key with the emotional part, but the mental part of the mega shit is you obviously somebody who can understand how business work, how franchise is work. So if you don't clear those three situations, you're not gonna be on any roster. Even if you do clear those things, they might put you on practice squad. They might put you on unclear waivers. Me personally, I didn't clear the physical part because I had broke my finger, dislocated it. The year I was supposed to sign, still signed, don't get me wrong, but I couldn't play or have a roster spot because of that injury before the season started. So what happened was that they had me sit, they had me dressed, travel with the team, practice with the team. They had me stand at the team hotels or by the mile the team rules, curfew, everything bro. Women don't understand that shit. All they might go to is, if I don't see your ass on the TV or if I don't see your ass on the roster, you're not on the team. I'm like, bitch, you don't even know how to fuck a slant, round a post-row. A double move, you don't know none of that shit. So how the hell are you gonna tell me how the NFL roster works? And you can tell just how much he disrespects women, which there's more of that we will get into just from that statement alone. So that's where that shit comes from, bro. And for me personally, I'm not known to explain the answer to nobody. I let you believe I'm a goddamn Boeing 737 if you want to believe that. But I know you, my dog, like I said, that's why I'm explaining that to you so it make more sense. 'Cause most people have never known this, bro. 99.9% of the world don't ever know this. So like I say, it's different. So a lot of holes think, oh, he ain't on the roster and bitches more to this shit. You don't understand. 99.9% of the world will never understand this shit. Okay, okay. Sometimes I feel from the way he talks about it that he started to believe he was actually in the NFL. Now another thing that we learned from the criminal complaint is that he was actually stealing content from other real NFL players and posting it as his own. And, you know, not surprising at all, right? The complaint says investigators identified multiple screen recorded videos love posted to his social media accounts which investigators believe depict legitimate NFL players and used context taken from their social media accounts. Some of these videos appeared on love social media accounts with the original posters information removed. Love presented the videos as his own to convince victims that he was a player for the 49ers. Now if he wasn't stealing content, he was fabricating his own. Very poorly may I add. One of my personal favorites is the one where he is supposedly signing his contract with the team. Check this shit out. My boys, they love signing this contract. How you feel? I'm ready. Are you ready for the season? Oh, we love you. We love you. We love you. Sign that bad boy. Who you signing with? Who's your decision? Bro, what are you signing? Your Spotify terms and conditions? Sign the contract. I stop, you know what I'm saying? We good to go. Let's get ready to start the season. Any, uh, anything you gotta say for the fans? Look out number seven. Last name, love, six, five, two, ten, I'm out of here. Well, I received it. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. No, sir. And obviously, there's someone else's voice in this. So how many people were actually in on this game or helped him pull this off? Or did he trick people in his life as well? Which I doubt I'm sure they knew what he was doing and just helped him do it. But when you think of how elaborate all of this was, there were probably more people involved in it than just Dejan and Taylor. He was also literally sending videos of himself bragging about all his famous friends in the NFL and how all these teams were just practically begging for him to sign with them. So I have three really, really good friends who play in the NFL right now. One, his name is Tyrique Kill. He plays for the Miami Dolphins. He just got traded last season from the Kansas City Chiefs. One of my best friends, John Brown. He just was all over the league last season. But now he's with the Buffalo Bills again. He was with them before. And he's also my personal chef's brother. And Antonio Brown is another one of my good friends. Long story short, I was born in Switzerland and I met these guys through business and I'll explain what kind of business later once I tell you the football story. So regardless of where I am on the planet, whether I'm in Switzerland, Italy, France, wherever I am, we always work out off season, no matter where we are. If I had to play the Miami, if they fly to me, whatever we find the football for, then we work out. So when you play in football and the off season is the time for you to get better or relax or get a bigger contract or whatever. Anyways, by them having a film, you know, you watch film with agents, with coaches, with trainers. So they was wondering like, "Yo, who was dude?" Like talking about me, like, "Who was that dude?" And I was like, "Well, that's my boy, John." Like, you know, he, uh, from Switzerland, but he was like, "Dude can play." You know, these guys just top wide with season in the field. They gonna be Hall of Fame. So they, agents is like, "Shut up, you can get dude paid for sure." So we had the conversation back and forth, but I was like, "Now I don't really wanna play football." Like, "That's shit, too dangerous." Like, "I don't wanna be having to go to practice all the time." And he's like, "Nigga, you work out all the time anyway." Like, with the phase, they ain't gonna be no difference. Like, "You not working out hard, heavy, during season." You do that shit off season. So I'm like, "Yeah, I guess that's true." So the first two years we talking about that shit, I wasn't with it. I ain't gonna lie, I was pushing it off. But this last six months is been all type of motherfucking teams calling me. The raiders called me. The 49ers called me. The Seahawks called me. The Buffalo Bills called me. The Ravens called me. A bunch of teams and I went and worked out for all of them, but San Francisco was the best team out of all of those teams. And they offered me the most money. So I'm like, "Shit, San Francisco, they ain't shunts of winning the Super Bowl every season." So I'm like, "I don't wanna play football." Oh my God. Now to be very clear here, which I feel like I really don't even need to say this at this point. But in case anyone is confused, this man was never on the 49ers. He was never on any NFL team and that has been confirmed by both the 49ers and the NFL as a whole. But at one point, he actually traded himself to the Rams. I was just starting to remember yo, what the fuck is this? I remember yo last four of yo. And about me, I was trying to shoot you when I was set the 49ers in the Bay. But now I'm in LA playing about to play with the Rams. So that's crazy. It's been a minute since I talked to you. I was trying to shoot you. And what's crazy is I guarantee you you still doing the same. If you would have been with me, you would have been in a whole another ball game. But now at this point, you know, so that's crazy. Shut the fuck up. It's crazy how I remember Joe Number and I even got your number saved. But my offer still stands, you know, I still think you were attracted. We were a little good together. I just love the way he's saying it's so crazy that I was traded to the Rams. And that is crazy. Oh, and by the way, I just traded myself to the Denver Broncos. As you can see, my home team here, I am the first female quarterback. Can you believe it? Oh, they also offered for me to buy the team. But I turned it down because I've got, you know, got a lot of other investments going on. In fact, I just bought California. So that's huge. And oh, by the way, I can also sing. I don't know if you knew that. In fact, Sabrina Carpenter just told me that I was her inspiration recently. And she even invited me to tour with her. unfortunately had to turn it down because I'm so busy podcasting the way that he speaks to women just makes my skin crawl to when he was talking about like yeah I'm attractive you're attractive just knowing he is full of shit makes it so much worse too um yeah these videos are just tough to watch but they're evidentiary gold if you ask me I mean we are literally experiencing first hand how he manipulated these women and what really sent me was the fact that many of these videos were basically just copy pasted to woman after woman in the criminal complaint it states that three videos in specific were shared approximately 185 times and in one of those videos we actually learn more about another part of dejon scheme like I said earlier and I'm sure a lot of you are really curious about this part of things was that his NFL persona wasn't the only one that he faked another one was his fabricated stories that his family was from Switzerland and they were involved in highly successful commercial real estate and it sounds like a lot of the times he even combined the NFL and Switzerland stories so different people would get different versions of the scheme all right so I just got home the first video was sending so I'll explain what my family does for a living and where I come from and so on and so forth so um I was born in Switzerland I moved to America when I was 10 years old my family is one of the richest families in Switzerland like where the developers so we develop malls hotels luxury uh estates um communities luxury communities which could be homes that are 4.5 million dollars house and above like one of the homes that I have right now we also do like loaning million anything over a million dollars to certain companies who are already established um what I do for our company is I'm the VP of international affairs of course you are so I handle things like hiring and firing senior positions relocations renovations permits and petitions um and I'm the guy who authorizes the million dollar or more for certain companies like I was just saying domestically we have shares and three Gucci stories we are the share holder the majority shareholder of three Gucci stores here in America one is in Dallas one is in South Beach Miami Florida and the third is in Manhattan no sex with Avenue what else as far as our real estate development we have two cities in California and they're two of the top most wealthiest cities in America so that's what we do domestically now the reason why I'm here is because once my dad retires and I being charged of I work domestic affairs and then I hire someone else to be in charge of international affairs now I have body guards I have three um the head of my security is actually lives with me 24/7 I have two other one one lives an hour away one lives two hours away whenever I leave the state or the country it's mandatory by order of my father since he lives in Switzerland for them to be with me my head of security who is so glad that daddy bought you security lives with me he's with me all the time no matter what I'm also have a personal and private chef who's also a personal and private chef for other NFL um football players basketball players and celebrities now I don't disclose their names because that's in the contract but that's what he does as well and he lives with me full time as well so whenever I get hungry whatever I want he can make anything um must be nice it honestly sounds like this guy just watched richy rich and was like yeah I'll just do all of that when you think of fall you think of back to school football new backpacks pumpkin spice probably and that dreaded call from the school nurse saying that you need to come pick up your kid early from school due to reasons that's exactly why we love hiya in our house and we include it in our daily routine it's quick it's easy it pairs great with breakfast or in the extremely long and honestly they're pretty boring considering they're just repeating the same thing he is so repetitive but like this Swiss family bullshit for example there are three or four videos that I found without even looking that hard where he explains his childhood and says what he does for his family business and at the end of one of the voice memos he talks about how they're so rich he's so rich and he has everything in the world but what's missing is his own family it's just more of his manipulation but it's worth listening to I think so the thing is is though I have everything that money can buy the only thing that I don't have it I believe that's going to give me another chapter is having the family whether that's adoption, surrogacy, vitro, natural whatever the case may be is having my own family dynamic world's tiniest violin right there for you buddy now the reason why I'm in southern california is because I'm getting a lot closer to my mom's out of the family my but I'm not successful because I bust my ass and ultimately I do want a family I want to pass what I know and what I have on to my extended family whether it's my one man or whether it's my children all he really wants his love honestly if this man does have any kids out there I just hope they take after their mothers and I say that because I have seen a lot of conversation online that he may have gotten several women pregnant but there's no confirmation on any of that so I'm not going to spend time on it but if it's true I hope the best for those women and those kids so I actually want to pivot here and get more into the financial part of the scheme because there is a lot to go over there the love con and the lifestyle flexing was definitely the first step in all of this but obviously the goal was to steal money so how did you do it well that takes us back to his co-conspirator Taylor Chan who played a huge role in facilitating all that. Like I said earlier, he pretended to be Deshawn's financial advisor, and they went to great lengths to make his financial earnings appear real. Here's a quote, "Love and Chan both falsely claim that Chan was Love's financial advisor and that Chan could invest the victim's money in the same investments Love was involved in. Love sometimes introduced the victims to Chan via Facetime. Chan then sent Love screenshots of Love's purported investment account balance and gains. Love sometimes showed his victims these screenshots and falsely purported that they reflected gains he made on investments he made through Chan. And at least one instance, Love falsely claimed that since he began investing with Chan, Love increased his net worth from $300,000 to $17 million in a matter of a few years. Love claimed to some victims that since he had large investments with Chan, Chan would agree to invest the victims' money using the same fictitious algorithm that Chan used to invest Love's money. Love then offered to invest the victims' money along with his own money. But of course, they were showing these women falsified financial records to convince them of their success. And to make it more convincing, Taylor would communicate directly with these women, sometimes in Facetime with Deshawn, showing them falsified investment gains so that they would invest their money with him. And speaking with the victims directly, was definitely one of the big ways that they convinced these women of their legitimacy. I think just having another person to talk to about the so-called investing just made it seem a lot more real to these women. And what's super fucked up too is that Deshawn and Taylor had separate phones that they would communicate with each other on and plan out their scheme and everything what they were going to do with each person. And then they'd use another phone to talk to these women, these victims and make their claims appear to be true. For example, in January of 2024, Deshawn messaged Taylor asking him to create a screenshot of an account with a balance of $3.4 million. And then the next month, he asked him to create a stock account that showed it was worth $11 million. In that message, he said, "Can you make another stock thing? I'm a Facetime you and make someone believe you." And this happened all the time. Here's another quote for instance, in June of 2024, "Love messaged Chan that love would Facetime him and love would ask Chan about the best way to access a victim's money so Chan could invest it on the victim's behalf. Love instructed Chan to say over Facetime that Chan had power of attorney authority over Love's account, thereby allowing the victim's money to be deposited into Love's account via cash or cashier's check. Love told Chan to falsely claim over Facetime due to Chan's authority, he had direct access to Love's account, which allowed Chan to access the victim's funds directly for investment. Love told Chan not to falter since there was big money on the line." Chan agreed. And this does not surprise me in the slightest, but the criminal complaint also says that they were referring to these women as ugly and bitches when talking about defrauding them. And Taylor Chan also spoke very crudely to someone else according to what investigators found, in messages on his iCloud. He told someone that Dejan was "scamming these hose" and he was a "vet manipulator." And he even said Dejan wasn't technically stealing from these women because they willingly gave him their money. And quote, "Chance stated that if confronted, love would say he tried to invest it but lost the money." Then the next month, he told the same guy that Dejan was about to get another 7-10k from another victim and that he was acting as his money manager in the plan. He also said that Dejan blessed him with the things he needed when he asked if he ever received a "cut of the money." And I'm sure you probably could have guessed this, but Dejan was using fake bank account apps to make it seem like these investments were pop-in-off. The criminal complaint states that he used an app called "fake bank account pro." It's believed that he used it to create and edit balances to quote, "deceive them into believing he was extremely wealthy," and we do have a video of this. And for my audio only listeners, that is a video of Dejan showing his Swiss bank account, which showed several account balances, one for 6.8 million, one for 15.7 million, and then another for 13.8 million. And what makes all this so pathetic is I feel that even though his main objective here was obviously to scam people, to steal from people, but I think there was a part of him that really enjoyed playing this act and really wished that this is who he could actually be. And yeah, like I said earlier, it seems like he started to kind of believe it himself. It's almost like he was method acting. Now speaking of them forging shit, there was also another website that they used to do that. I guess there's this online brokerage company called PocketOption, which offers a demo version of their service. And the simplest way of explaining it is basically that you can trade fake money to see what would happen in real-world conditions. It's like practicing trades with no consequences. It's actually kind of a cool concept, but in the criminal complaint, it states, quote, "Love falsely claimed that he and Chan created investment accounts on some victims' behalf." Love showed some of his victim screenshots of victitious account balances from PocketOption and falsely claimed those balances reflected the increased value of their investment to gain their trust. So it was just another way that they were able to convince their victims that their investments were successful. And in reality, they were just pocketing their money. Even when Dejan promised these women that they would get debit cards to access their funds, that of course never happened. And here's what makes this even crazier. If they ever reached a point where they got money from someone and they wanted more money from them, they introduced something called an expedited account. They basically pitched to these women that they had a rare opportunity to invest in something that would double or triple their money in just a matter of days and to quote the criminal complaint to affect this part of the scheme, Chan sent love messages about this account, claiming the account was not frequently available and love in the victim had a rare opportunity to invest. Love then shared screenshots of Chan's messages and told victims he was planning on investing his own money in the expedited account. While claiming he had previously done so without ever losing money, love told some victims that funds invested in expedited account were for businesses which needed immediate cash for a short period of time. In return, the businesses supposedly paid a large fee or interest rate for the cash. If a victim asked love why he chose not to invest in more conventional assets, love claimed that wealthy individuals like himself did not invest the same way as an average person. And it gets even more messed up from here because if any of these women ever said that they just didn't have the money to invest, he would convince them to borrow money from a friend or a loved one. Listen to this. "Then I can have him put it in an expedited account to where it'll make you at least that money. That's your friends that you borrow to where you can pay them back. And then you'll have an account set up based off of that equity and momentum. That's the only thing I could think of because if it was actually your money, you could just leave it in there. But if you borrow money, you don't have to pay them back. That's why I say, just tell them like, yo, you got $5,000 instead of going to the bar for four days. Say whatever you have to say to do it because I guarantee you in four days, you'll have that money back if not, I'll pay for it myself because for me, it's all about if you say you're going to do something, do it. It's not about money, a dollar amount when you reach. It's about keeping your word, you know, and I'm going to be a matter of my word no matter what. So selling for four or five days or three or four days, you'll have the money back to them. So that's what I would suggest you do even if you got actually a best friend or whoever you got to ask." How was this guy sleeping at night? This is so, so fucked up. If you say you're going to do something, do it. Like me. I said, I was going to play for the 49ers, so I just bought all their merch and a thousand dollar helmet and that's all I had to do with that easy. God, this guy is just such a clown. And if asking these women to borrow money from their friends wasn't low enough, investigators say he helped some of the women take out personal loans. "If some of the victims did not have cash available to invest, love helped them take out personal loans. Love coach some victims on how and where to take out personal loans. Love reassured some of these victims that they would be able to pay back their loan before the first payment was due." And every time I think it can't get worse, it just does. This next clip I'm about to play for you is him literally asking one girl to send him money to help him pay for his own car. And it's not even an investment, obviously. He just straight up is like, "Okay, you got to borrow money from a friend and send it to me. Listen to this." because my car that I had bought it was a little bit more than what I had okay so the bread that you gave me then plus I had some bread and cash and then I had to check some bread and cash also what is up with him wearing this sweatshirt like this inside. Checked out the chew scene you probably see how much was on there but I had to check the chew scene the cash that I had and the cash that you gave so the car that I was initially getting for was like 120 but the one that I ended up getting it had like different things to it so it was like four five thousand dollars more so what I told then was was like listen I'm gonna just go ahead and get y'all that extra four five thousand dollars once everything gets situated which was supposed to been last week or at the very latest the beginning of this week and they was like all right cool because obviously ain't no fucking don't ain't nobody especially no fucking card dealership with 40 50 plus cars gonna turn down no fucking hundred plus thousand dollar deal over four five thousand dollars they have like all right bet we'll just get it to me as soon as possible so with me being who I am and having my credibility I don't want it to look bad I'm stressed out because if they pull the deal that's gonna make me look real bad and I can't have that and obviously they're gonna have to fucking take the car so I just need you to take ten fifteen minutes and just think about like who you have that can loan you four thousand and just until the end of this week god he is so disgusting and pathetic this is so embarrassing whoever it is whether it's a yo whoever you know and whatever it is you gotta tell him cool but I know for a fact my shit has to be about it is weak but the bank they are not going to wait whoever it could be your grandma for all I care can't even wrap my head around this this is the same man who says he has millions and millions of dollars and now he's suddenly four thousand dollars short on a car payment make it make sense my guy anyway it's good night like I said I just need you to focus I'm not here to take all your money you know I just need help when I need it a little hotel room a little bit of gas some shit like that light shit the same shit I will help you understand how anyone could fall for it but all joking aside there were real victims affected by what these men were doing and you know the way that I've seen them shamed is really unfortunate at least twenty six women but most likely more in my opinion were caught and they didn't just lose money I mean they lost their emotional and financial security I was all stolen from them and there are you're the only girl that I'm dealing with because I said how I do things I'm a very efficient person I always believe in efficiency making things work smoothly and efficient that's just how I always am that's why I'm at this level of success and I'm at now so obviously we're going to meet tomorrow we're going to you know see talk about all of that and then I want to make sure that either we leave knowing we want to move forward 100% exclusive and all of that or we don't obviously we'll hang out all the time that stuff is going to happen but I want to be able to make a decision tomorrow based off of us vibing because clearly through text, FaceTime, Audio, Video, all of that we got that I just want to see the the pertinent person that's going to be the icing on the cake now if we do the first order of business is fixing your financial situation because that's what makes the difference that's what creates that time for us to be, you know, doing what we do. Like having you sit right there, you know what I mean? When I'm out here doing this type of stuff or when I fly out to do stuff, you with me. And having the peace of mind knowing you've got money coming in behind the scenes when you sleep, we together, when you with your moms, when you with whoever is very, very important. So that's going to be the first order of business. Obviously it's a gradual process to get to the point where you're not working, but nevertheless, there's still a seed that has to be planted. And then this sprouts and grows and grows and grows and grows. And once there's a full tree, that's when you sit there and say, well, shit, I don't need to work at this job no more. I want to do this or I want to do that. So that's going to be the first order thing. And I'm saying this right now because I already know we're going to get along in person. Like there's no doubt in my mind. Like we got too much in common, like the main big foundational stuff in common, which is really huge. So that's why I'm saying all of this stuff that way, you know, we on the same page, but hopefully a day going with smooth my day about to finish here within the next hour. Unless I take the meeting on video or something like that. But in person stuff, I don't think that's going to happen. And as for how any of these relationships ended, Dejon would just ghost them whenever one of these women would start to ask questions or gets suspicious of him. He would block them and never talk to them again. The whole thing was just really a sick cycle. And when investigators reviewed Dejon and Taylor's iCloud accounts, they found that some of the women were even requesting money back on apps like Venmo, Zele and cash apps with captions that read give me my money back or $3,700 is owed to me legal action will be pursued. And I really don't want to have to take you to court. And those were the same apps that many of the payments were initially received through by Dejon and Taylor, but any effort by these victims to get the money returned to them was unsuccessful. And I can tell you exactly where these funds went. According to the criminal complaint, it says that Dejon spent the money on travel, entertainment, clothing accessories, automobile care, and restaurants. He would also of course stay in hotels and Airbnb's and bought tons of expensive jewelry. And this is fucked up to say, but it's true. I mean, he was basically using these women to invest in his scheme. And what I mean by that is every penny that he received would then buy him something to make his next story for the next girl even more believable. Love made purchases, investigators believe were made in furtherance of the scheme to defraud victims. Love spent over $1,160 at Green Grind Iron, which is a website specializing in custom football helmets. Love purchased from Prop Money Inc, a company that sells realistic fake money for movies. Love also made purchases from UseViral.com and BuzzLide, which are companies that sell followers, likes, and views for social media accounts. Investigators believe these purchases were made to enhance love's online appearance and alleged social standing in furtherance of the scheme. And as we've seen, and as I'm about to play for all of you who haven't seen it, he had no problem showing that shit off. So this is my Lamborghini. This car is $340,000. It's worth more than that now. This is my ZR1 Corvette. That's $190,000. Here's my Hellcat charger Reddye. That's $140,000. And then here's my AMG Benz. AMG 63 S. That's about $200,000. So this key is here. It's probably worth about a million dollars, close to a million. So I love vehicles. I love jewelry. This bracelet is about 20,000. The ring is about 10. The pendant is 30. The chain here is 40, or if you know what, it's 50, 55. The one that the pendant is on, which is right here. That was another 20. The Rishar male is 300,000. This ring is about $15,000, I believe. And I'll show you all that some old shit here in a second. I love jewelry. It's been my thing. I got veneers in. It's another 50,000. So this is my bed. This is about $8,000. Here's my TV. This TV is about 8,000. I love horror shit. So each doll is about 2K. They give us these for a football. And these are about $2,000. I was each damn. I just realized my husband has that Annabelle doll from the Conjuring in his studio for lights out. I really hope he didn't spend $2,000 on that. I'll have to ask him, hey, investigative question for this episode. You're on camera. Yeah. Did you spend $2,000 on your Annabelle doll? How much do you think that was? Like $3,000? Okay. Yeah, this day Jean Idiot was showing his Annabelle doll off and said he spent $2,000 on it. He has the same one. I don't know if it's the same one, but he said it's, it was like in the same box that you have. So it looks like the same one. I just realized he got scanned. Or he's just lying. Yeah, or he's lying. All right, thanks. Yeah. Here's more of Dejan's showing shit off. This is my Rechard Mill watch. This watch is $268,000. This is someone's house on my reach. I have another one. I say my say. This is my $20,000 Blue Face Rolex. This is my $15,000 Red Face Rolex. And then here is my 24-carat gold. Hope you're in this is about two brands. These chains here, if you can see, come up to about 10 grand. The real diamonds and real gold, so on and so forth. See, these are about $1,000 each. There's my limited edition Louis Vuitton backpack. This is $18,000. I have $50,000 in cash just because when I move, I don't want the money to be ruined and storage. So I will unpack this soon, but this is $50,000. And based on Dejan's financial records, which were reviewed from January 1st, 2021 through June 30th, 2025, investigators found, quote, no identifiable source of legitimate non-fraud income. And in total funds coming in, the criminal complaint states that he obtained a whopping $1,378,496. And of course, that number is subject to change as more evidence comes in and I suspect it might. He also reportedly spent $1,378,210.74. And that leaves only like $212 left over. And I know he sure as hell is not affording a good attorney on that budget. Now all jokes aside, of course, there are real victims in this story who have suffered a lot because of Dejan and Chan. And so I wanted to spend a portion of this episode reading you and showing you some of their stories. And I actually want to start with a victim whose story ultimately prompted this entire investigation. She's identified in the criminal complaint as FBI confidential human source aka CHS. CHS met love in May of 2025 via an online dating platform. Love told CHS his name was Avril Laito Love. Kind of interesting he used the name Laito, which kind of looks like Laito. Love told CHS that he was from a wealthy family in Switzerland and invested in commercial real estate. After a few dates, love spoke to CHS about investing. The fact that love drove nice cars had expensive jewelry, money, and state-of-nice hotels made CHS believe love was wealthy because of love's purported wealth. CHS was interested in investing with love but had a few questions before she did. When love would not give CHS answers to her questions, CHS realized that love was attempting to defraud them and contacted the FBI. At the direction of the FBI, CHS asked love about love's investments. In June of 2025, love sent CHS a screenshot of a message between love and Chan stating an expedited account was available. Love then sent CHS an audio message describing the account. Love stated that the account had only come around twice in six years and was different than the typical long-term investment accounts. Love claimed the expedited account would double or triple in value in seven to nine days. After the account closed, love stated CHS could withdraw all their money. Love stated he had invested in the expedited account twice prior. Love stopped communications with CHS when CHS would not invest any money. And here is that screenshot that's referenced above. It's a photo of a text that Dejon sent to CHS of a conversation he supposedly had with Taylor. It reads quote, "Good afternoon, Avril." Dejon used multiple aliases over the years. This was one of them. Hope everything is well. There is an expedited account available which as you know, I always approve you get involved just because they are so scarce. I'm not sure what the situation is between you and your girlfriend since I haven't heard much but if I were you guys, I'd definitely put some capital into this. As you've seen first hand, it's only come across my desk twice. I'll put the usual for you. I just thought I'd let you know just in case you still had the same plan in mind as far as the life goal with your partner. Let me know as soon as possible as I'll be informing my other high-end clients as well. God, I can't help but think that when he specifically says this has only come across my desk twice that he is getting inspiration from the Wolf of Wall Street. I couldn't find the audio message that he had sent this victim specifically, but from this screenshot I'm showing now, it basically sounds like he walked through the whole expedited account thing, which I don't think needs repeating. My point is, though, this victim is actually the reason that the FBI got involved in the case, so huge shout-out to her and to all of the other brave victims who have come forward. And then there's another story from the criminal complaint I want to highlight. It comes from a woman identified as AT. It says AT met love in June 2022 and dated love until April 2023. Love presented himself as a wealthy real estate investor. After dating for approximately one month, love told AT that Chan could invest her money in an expedited account. That would double AT's money and AT would receive a $600 check every week or two. AT transferred $20,000 to love's chase account gave love $20,000 in cash and sent an associate of love's $5,000 for a total of $45,000 towards the expedited account. However, AT never received any of the $600 checks love promised. Love showed AT what he purported to be account settlements that showed AT's investment growing. Whenever AT asked about the lack of $600 checks, love created excuses for the delay. AT later loaned love an additional $19,500 after love stated he needed money to help his family. Eventually, love repaid AT $13,800 of the loan through an associate of his around January 2023. Love asked AT to help him lease a $250,000 McLaren sports car. AT did not have the income to support leasing the vehicle, so love had a fake payroll check made for AT which showed AT making approximately $50,000 per month. AT presented this payroll check to the dealership to help secure the lease. Love leased the McLaren with $20,000 cash, a $15,000 check and $5,000 charge to AT's credit card. After making two monthly payments, AT realized that she was being scammed. Love returned to the McLaren to AT who then returned the car to the dealership. AT paid $30,000 to break the lease. In some, she lost $87,500. That example was actually the only instance in my research where any money was given back to the victim, but it obviously didn't cover the total amount she was scammed. There are several more stories like this in the criminal complaint which I'll have linked in the description and show notes of this episode if you want to check it out. But I also wanted to leave some time to talk about the victims who are coming forward online. And this first one comes from Snoopy lover 99 on TikTok. So I'm one of the women that the fake 49ers player attempted to defraud. And there are a few details that I feel nobody else has been talking about that are so hilarious. I have to share them. Okay, so first of all, I think his MO was the same with all of the women. He would send them this ton of videos basically explaining how he got involved in the league, why he's so rich and then showing off different assets and stuff. But throughout these videos, there are so many inconsistencies and just things that are not true. And I am just going to have to show you guys some of them. Okay, so we're going to start off with my favorite one, him talking about how his family owns Gucci stores. Roll the clip. We have shares and three Gucci stores. We are the shareholder, the majority shareholder of three Gucci stores here in America. So he's saying that his family is the majority shareholder of three individual Gucci stores. If you're not familiar with stocks, which I mean, this is pretty basic, but you can't really own stock or shares of stock in one individual store. It's a whole company, you know? So you can't be a shareholder in one store. So that's already incorrect. The second part, I don't know if you guys caught this. This is so freaking hilarious. He says that the Manhattan store is located on Sax 5th Avenue as though that is a street and not a major department store. So he doesn't even know that Sax 5th Avenue is a giant department store and not a street. He thinks that Sax 5th Avenue is the name of a famous street in New York, but it is quite literally a store. I'm like, okay, so those two things, hilarious. Next, him talking about how he gets involved with the league is so absurdly hilarious. Oh my god, one sec. We had the conversation back and forth, but I was like, now I don't really want to play football like that. That's shit. It's too dangerous. Like, I don't want to be having to go to practice all the time. He's like, nigga, you work out all the time anyway. Like what the phase ain't going to be no different. Like, you're not working out hard, heavy during season. You do that shit off season. So I'm like, yeah, I guess that's true. So the first two years we talked about that shit I wasn't with. I ain't gonna lie. I was pushing it off. But this last six months, it's been all type of motherfucking teams calling me. The ravens called me, the 49ers called me, the Seahawks called me, the Buffalo bills called me, the Ravens called me, a bunch of teams. And I went and worked out for all the level. But, oh, sorry, that clip was kind of long. But basically what he's saying is, oh, I didn't want to play footballs too dangerous. But they were like, oh, you're so good. Please come play football for us. Like as if that's what the NFL's out here doing. Like all these teams just like, like, like, oh my god, she see that nerdy girl in the concert, like wearing the glasses, reading her book, like, bring her on stage. I want to marry her. Like babe, this is real life. No football teams are going to find 33-year-old men being like, oh, please play for us. Please, please, please. You're so athletic. Like that doesn't happen. So, okay. Lastly, this is just a small little clip. I just think it's so funny. But it's when he's flexing some of his assets. I just have to show you, I just have to show you. This is my Lamborghini. Her car. EVO. It's working more than that now. That's $190,000. Here's my Hellcat charger red eye. That's $140,000. And then here's my AMG Benz AMG 63 S. Okay. That one is just hilarious to me because why does he have the keys to all of these cars on one key ring? How does that make any sort of sense? Genuinely for anyone who was raised with two parents or in a household with two cars, keep your car keys on the same key ring. Because what if I want to take out the minivan and my mom wants to take out the Toyota camera. Who has all of their car keys on one car ring? That's stupid. That's dumb. Nobody does that. That is so fake. And that's just insane. So those are my three favorite clips from Dejon Love that he sent to me. He sent them, I'm sure, to a thousand other women. And I just hope that you guys got a kick out of it as much as I did. So thank you. Feel free to let me know if you have any questions. She also made this part too to the video talking about how she realized he was fake as fuck. One thing that I forgot to mention about this whole fake 49er skim thing is at the time when I had gone out with him, so I didn't look him up before. I met him a very different way than I think the majority of women did. So I didn't have time to look him up before. But the way I figured out he was fake is immediately after our date. I looked at the 49er's depth chart and then I looked at the practice squad, And like obviously there's nothing there. So I was like, okay, this guy is not in the NFL and then At this point I had his phone number so I like reverse looks up his phone number and he had told me like Oh, I've never lived in Chico before which is where we met and Like some other things like that. He said his mom lived in Switzerland and so sometimes I had his phone number I was able to find like a bunch of previous addresses that were linked to his name three of which were in Chico And I also found his mom and I found that she lives in Texas not Switzerland And so I was like, okay, this guy like not only is he not a 49er's player, but he's like lying about a lot of things and I was like What the hell? I had no idea he was out here defrauding people of money I genuinely just thought he was like trying to create this whole elaborate persona and this life because I figured he was just trying to like sleep with women or something. I don't know We genuinely only hung out for like maybe an hour and a half like I it was not I was like this guy kind of like suck so I was like um, okay Well, I have to go like buy and then yeah, he sucks his personality was lame whack as hell. I was like, I don't care If you actually are worth a billion dollars like you suck. So that's how I knew he was fake, but yeah Another girl named Jen posted to tiktok saying that she was a victim as well Her tiktok is baby Jen's and I've been sourcing a lot of footage from her already So shout out Jen, but she posted screen recordings from their text threads And he honestly sounds like such a creep in these messages at one point She asks him to send her his college football highlights and you can tell that she's obviously trying to figure out if he's legit or not And he tells her I got hurt my college career only had one year then killed it at a private tryout I've got some off-season workout shit with my player edition gear on though if you want to see those Then she asks about how he got on the 49ers if he didn't have any college playtime and he tells her again It was through a private tryout. He then says you're still doubting me LOL. Do you even know how football works like you've heard in some of his previous videos He would get extremely defensive anytime someone questioned him and yeah, this was no different in that same tiktok She also scrolled through some of the photos that he sent her to prove that he was on the team But half of those images he literally could have taken from Google and the other half doesn't prove shit in another tiktok One guy named Juan Orozco posted that it was his company who rented Dejan the cars that he used in some of his scams And he said that he's owed about $10,000 and basically that Dejan was keeping up with the payments on his Lamborghini rentals But shit hit the fan once he stopped paying and wouldn't pay extra for going over his allotted mileage This next one also caught my eye. Okay, so this is a girl named Lauren on tiktok Her username is Lauren with two ends dot L. L. I. Z. Z She went online saying that she was Dejan's last victim and her video is gaining a ton of traction And she says that she plans to share her story soon, but as of the damn recording this there hasn't been a follow-up video Maybe between the time that I've record this and the time it's published It will be out and I can put in a little bit of it or link it below in her original post though She shares a slideshow of photos of them together and even a screenshot from their text messages where it looks like he bought her a diamond ring In the caption of the video she writes, "I was with Dejan every day the last month." He played a great game He didn't pitch me the NFL scheme. I got the Swiss real estate developer background We traveled four different states since July I left the Airbnb 30 minutes before he got caught by the FBI at the airport and I think another major misconception people have with this case is that He never actually met these women in person, but he did it in fact if anything He was quick to meet up with him and I'm guessing that's mainly because he just wanted to hurry up the process But yeah, these relationships were not exclusively online and based on these story time videos that are coming out I really do think he likely victimized more than the 26 women that were outlined in the complaint There's also a woman on Instagram named Jade who just recently came forward saying that she was his victim as well And she definitely agrees that there's so many more than just 26 women I know everybody is joking about these things with Dejan and how he pretended to be a 49ers But there's really a lot of darkness behind that he definitely tailored to each individual female that he interacted with And decided what he was going to gain benefit from whether it be a consensual sexual gratification that gets met Monetary whether it be voluntary or involuntary so there was theft There's so much more going on and I know people are embarrassed to talk about it or ashamed or feel like It's just something they don't want to talk about but there's so many more than just 26 women And there's so much more than just scamming going on people's physical mental emotional health was taken for granted Like, shit was really going on that can affect somebody's daily life Like people could be losing their life so for things like this And then another woman Dominique Dubose has also come forward about meeting him on hinge And he tried to pull the 49ers scam on her but where he fucked up was she had a friend who played for the team during the years that he said he played And when she asked that friend about Dejan obviously the response was that he had no idea who that was so thankfully she blocked him There's actually an article in the San Francisco Chronicle about her experience and in it she has quoted saying I dodged a bullet And yes, you certainly did. There's obviously a bunch of videos and victim stories and I sadly won't have time to get to all of them in this episodes but really the patterns are all the same And it's not just TikTok and Instagram where women are coming forward to share their experiences There's also a Facebook group called victims of John Love with 96 members in it And his face has appeared multiple times in other Facebook groups where women weren't against dating him and then I found this one amazing Tik Toker Shala who did some major sleuthing And here's what she was able to uncover So in 2023 someone posted on a Facebook page in Seattle saying huge red flag Dejan possibly 32 Either from California Portland in Seattle area and they posted his dating profile Dejan 32 extremely laid back in calm new to the area looking to get into buying up real estate I believe communication is key with everything I'll reciprocate energy. You're not gonna reciprocate energy You're gonna scam the fuck out of them Dejan apparently he's six five so then I got into the comments and I was like okay, these are fucking good First comment he's a scammer He talks to you and draws you in and then claims he's a millionaire sends you videos of his houses and multiple sports cars and his IG's verified and has over 100k followers to try to back that claim up If you look at his followers most are bots if you look at who he's falling most are girls in the BMW So I'm not sure if those are girls he knows or if they fell for his shit He knows how to manipulate women and get you to feel feelings for him and basically paint a perfect picture of building a life family with you He hits you with the money questions and wanting you to invest in your future together by asking for money He was posted last week and I was with him in person when someone in the group texted him saying he was posted the whole thing is honestly ridiculous So if you see him block his ass I also talked to him for a bit same thing I like you a lot yada yada once a woman to do what they're told doesn't understand why a non-rich person wouldn't listen to a rich person He told me he is rich and there are so many other girls who would love to be the one he's talking to so I said goodbye And then on another Washington Facebook page someone posted him June 12 saying has anyone talked to him initials JL these comments are from 11 weeks ago After all done doing he's a scammer but posted in here so many times I had one date with him and so many red flags Ella male big scammer dangerous individual famous and Callie for pretending to be a 49er look him up on TikTok They don't love it changes alias often I guess he goes by the initials JL now Yeah I see them yeah run he scammed a good friend of mine out of 5k and ruined their credit score He gave her a few S.E.I.s and I think he's currently being investigated since multiple people have been pressing charges against him Rose came to my work a strip club wanted him for free saying he plays for the Rams and is getting traded to the Seahawks Goddancer's numbers and sent them a 4 minute video about how he has all these nice places couldn't keep his story on the same house He has a black card made it known it would not decline I said he want to take girls out to shop because he needs a girl to look good on the sidelines I'm literally gag Think about just how wild it is that when we work we wait and then we get paid And that's just the deal we've accepted Meanwhile you can get literally anything else these days instantly Ernen has been changing that for over a decade But to $150 a day of money you've already earned up to $1000 between paychecks Tips are optional and standard transfers take 1 to 2 business days with no mandatory fees Expected transfers start at $3.99 and cap at $5.99 5 million people have already made the switch and at this point the old way is starting to look like the weird option I really do think it's so odd how we treat money as a society compared to how we treat everything else in the instant acts I mean you can get just about anything else instantly It's pretty strange that we just accept waiting on paychecks as normal So change that today and download Ernen on the App Store or Google Play That's spelled like earning money without the G Type in true crime with Kendall Ray under podcasts when you sign up it'll really help the show Ernen is a financial technology company not a bank Access limits are based on your earnings and risk factors Standard cashouts take 1 to 2 business days with no mandatory fees Expected transfers are available for a fee Tips are voluntary and don't affect the service available in select states Terms and restrictions apply visit Ernen.com for full details Dejan also of course appeared on Reddit over a year ago in a scam subgroup The post reads I got scammed recently by this man who has been scamming women for over 10 years He lies about everything he claims to play for the NFL 49ers but he had never been with them He carries a fake 49ers helmet and he flaunts a lavish lifestyle that he gets from scamming women and claiming to be investing their money or claiming that he will pay them back. I don't know what to do. I lost so much money because I was afraid of him and the power he has. I don't know any lawyers that would take this case pro bono. There have been complaints filed with the FBI, but he is still at large in the California and Oregon area. I don't know if I will ever get any of the money he stole from me. I am ashamed to have fallen victim to this scam, but I know I'm not alone. This man is manipulative and has so much experience conning innocent women. He lies about his age, saying he's 23 when he's really 33. He uses fake accounts and fake investment websites to trick you into believing he's legit. He doesn't take no for an answer and pressures you into giving money and sex. I asked for my money back and he blocked me. Are there any legal avenues for me to get my money back? Is there anything I can do to get help? Now, I've also come to learn some really dark information about this case and I do want to preface this by saying this information is currently alleged. But yeah, there are now allegations that Dajon was interacting with underage girls. And I do need to of course clarify that these allegations are not associated with the criminal complaint whatsoever. There's this Instagram account that is sharing some of the personal testimonies of Dajon's victims. And that includes one alleged conversation between him and a 17 year old girl. It starts with Dajon's account sending the side eye emoji and three heart emojis to which the girl responds, "Do we know each other?" And he responds with, "No, but we can." She then asks how old he is, which he says 21 and she replies, "Oh, for real, I'm 17. Where are you from?" He says, "When do you turn 18? I'm from another country. However, I'm a football player, but I'm sure you know that." She then says, "18 and Feb, how long have you been playing for the 49ers?" And he says, "Shit, since last year, but I've been trying to clear waivers, which I will this season to get my roster spot. We can be friends until you turn 18. We'd have to do it by the book, except my request." They then have some more exchanges back and forth, but what sells a lot of people on this message thread being legit are the voice memos that came next. Here's the first one. "Now, so I live in Santa Clara, that's like San Jose, because we have to live out there when you play football on the team. So I got to live out there, but I was looking at places in Scottsdale. They got like nice ass houses, and plus it's a lot cheaper out there than it is in California for like houses. And plus they got an NFL team, one of my boys played on the team, but he and on the team no more. So I'll be out there sometimes, but we should definitely, like I say, FaceTime and you know, get to know each other a little bit, because February is going to come by quick. Plus like maybe one day you might want to come to one of my games or something." I mean, it definitely sounds like him right, and if it really is, that is beyond creepy for him to say that they should FaceTime, because February is going to come quick. After that, she doesn't even really address that part of what he said. She just responded, "Yeah, it's definitely cheaper out here. So do you like Ona Manchin or something?" And that's when she got this voice memo. "I mean, I like nice shit, for sure, but last text, and then I'll let you know a lot more about me, because Instagram is cool, but it's like, it ain't really, you can't really say too much on here, because it only allows you to type certain amount, it only allows a voice message to be like a certain length. So send me your number, I'll text you, and then we could just talk that way, that way I could let you know a lot about it, but I like nice shit, mansions, jewelry, nice cars. My Instagram is cool, but I got a lot more shit that I could show you through text, so just leave me your number in the out text. Again, if this is real, this is extremely predatory, trying to get her off a public platform into a more private setting is literally textbook grooming. This account exposes more stories too, and I will have the page linked in the show notes and description of this episode if you want to check the rest of those out. And there's also a bunch more of his alleged voice notes on there that are equally as disturbing as everything I've already played for you. And as far as other things that I've come across online, there is really no shortage of videos and photos on this case. I've seen screenshots circulating online of Dejan asking brands to send him shit and offering to post about them for money. And at this point, I think a lot of this stuff we're seeing is probably AI, so a lot of these screenshots that are appearing, I'm definitely taking with a grain of salt, although I'm sure some of them are real. It honestly seems like a lot of these people are just trying to get in on this very trending topic, maybe get some followers in attention, or just trying to have some fun trolling this clown. And speaking of trolling, I just have to say the internet has been absolutely hilarious this past week. I get so many posts served to me about everything that Dejan did. And I think it's probably because I've been researching this case so much, but the parody videos and the memes are just who good. I've just got to show you guys some of my favorites. I definitely wanted to explain how I got involved in the NFL because I know a lot of people may not know how the process works, so y'all don't understand, like it's a real deep process that nobody gets. I don't know if y'all ever heard of a player called Tom Brady, a little player in the NFL. You gotta really be in touch to know, but that's actually my god dad. And I'll have them expedite the investments so you could get paid immediately in like four days or whatever. So it don't matter if you borrow it from like your best friend, your dad granny, you know, taking from a baby's baby shower. It don't really matter as long as you like a woman of your wear, I'm looking for someone to be rich with. And if it don't work out, I'll pay myself money as money is nothing to me really. And the crazy thing is you think I'm driving right now, I'm not even really driving. I'm in my new McLaren Lambo jet, hybrid is very exclusive so I'm actually floating right now. I'm levitating above your house. If you look up, you can actually see me. The other day, for example, Elon Musk hit me up. He asked me, can I invest in something with him? I'm like, nah, I gotta go to practice. I gotta go to pre-practice actually for the San Francisco 49ers with whom I played for. But anyway, you said you asked me what time it was. Yo yo, I'm spending the day in my life as an NFL linebacker. Coach, forgot to put my cleats in the locker so we're out of digs right now. We're gonna grab something real quick. I gotta get on coach, you can't be doing that. If you give me $50,000, I can take that and put it in a super rich person, investment account and it'll double in four days. If you give me that $50,000, how does that work? You know, I'm gonna just keep it a buck, speaking of $100 bill, I'm gonna be able to see one of those. I am a professional athlete. I got am in the NFL. I'm gonna be see the logo right there, this is NFL, so I am in that shit. I'm just undrived right now by choice. I got the Rams gear on, but like, I haven't responded to their offer yet. You know, I just left them on red, D&D type shit. I was just gonna let them announce that Aaron Donald News, like, before they announce me, like, you know, get that shit out of the way. I just wanna let you know that I'm not playing games, like, I'm not your average dude, like, Lamborghini, Lamborghini yours 9/11, and, you know, I thought you're a beautiful but I don't really play games unless it's on the field, NFL hat. But, you know, like, I am rocking with you, so like, just don't ghost me, or else I'm going to have to go forth and long, as a football term. That's just something we say. So football term. I think Trevor Walls is so funny. Even the wide receiver's coach for the 49ers, Leonardo Hankerson posted on his Instagram making fun of this situation. If you're listening to the episode, he posted a photo of him on the field coaching Dejon. I also saw one of my favorites, Jamie Foxx, post. I saw someone post his mug shot and they edited in his football helmet. It's so good. I've got to say, I think this one is my favorite though. I ain't got the number on your jersey, but they don't know what position I'm going to play yet on the team because I can play so many different positions. So, until they know what they're going to put me, you see, I got to look on the helmet. You know, it's all authentic. So. You see the name, baby? You see the name? Who you signing with, man? Andrews. NFL Kings. Dang. Dueling roll man to lead. Different. And to give you full transparency, allows you, we don't know how the NFL works. You were like, how did you sound with the Falcons, you just sound with the Patriots, well, you know how in high school, you can have dual enrollment, when they kind of have a thing like that NFL for players who are just so talented that they're needed on other teams to help, you know, other teams be good. It's not every team is good at NFL. Look at that. You ever seen a watch with three faces? You haven't. So, you know what time it is. And this right here costs $300,000,000,000,000,000, you know what I mean? But that's like $100,000,000, $100,000, but gets right there, and the faith you've never seen that. And so, I just like to help other people make money. And so, if you, in the matter of how you got to get it, just get it. No matter how you got to get it, just get it. And I'm sure a lot of you guys seeing that, Dejan, is not the only one recently busted for faking being an NFL player. Ross Augie IV is another dude who has been pretending to play for the NFL. He has presented himself as playing for multiple teams, including the Cowboys, Buccaneers, and the Steelers. And although his scams weren't nearly as high, he was trying to use his likeness as an NFL player to get brand deals on social media. he has not been charged with any. crimes, but I felt like I needed to mention him. Now for Dejan Love and Taylor Chan, their arrest just could not come soon enough. Restborns were issued for them on August 17th, 2026 in Orion, and they were taken in on August 24th at the Boise airport. And apparently because of course he was, Dejan was wearing 49ers of peril when he was captured. Going with it till the very end, FBI agents discovered that Taylor was flying from California to Idaho to meet with Dejan, who they say was in Idaho meeting new victims. They also learned that between July 15th and August 24th, Dejan was in New Mexico, California, Oregon, Nevada, Utah, and Idaho. In his most recent hearing, the prosecution argued he was a flight risk, and ultimately he was ordered to remain in police custody until his transfer back to the state of Oregon. Now as for Taylor Chan, he has been released, but is expected to make an initial appearance in court in Oregon on September 10th. As part of his release conditions, he has to surrender his passport, must avoid contact with the alleged victims, and can't consume any drugs or alcohol. He also, quote, "must not use any online dating site, social media applications, or dating applications," which I just find to be hilarious, plus he can't possess a device with internet access or access to the internet without prior permission. And what's crazy is he was 18 at the time of his arrest, but he was only 13 or 14 when all of this started. 14 years old was this guy sneaking out of PE class to take these phone calls with Dejan? What the fuck is going on? I literally have no idea how the two of them got connected, and I hope those details come to light because I have so many questions. And as mentioned at the start of this episode, these two have been charged with wire fraud and conspiracy to commit wire fraud in this whopping $1.3 million scheme.
