The Extra Point | Week 6 Fantasy Football Advice: Start/Sit Calls, Trade Targets & Players to Stash (Ep. 2253)

The podcast features a detailed Q&A session between Scott Fogman and Tara Roberts, addressing fantasy football strategies from injury impacts to draft decisions. Key topics include the Arizona vs. Detroit game as a high-volume matchup, with strong sentiment for Jacoby Brissett and Michael Wilson. The 2027 draft class is praised for its depth in superflex, prompting discussion on trading late first-round picks for elite talent. In half-PPR leagues, Immanuel Wilson is favored over Henderson when Ramadre Stevenson is active, but Henderson takes over if Stevenson sits due to volume and matchup advantages. Michael Mayer is highlighted as an underrated tight end due to increased route runs and consistent targets in the Raiders' offense. Short-bench leagues are discussed as ideal for aggressive trades—such as acquiring Jalen Waddle or Aaron Jones—when injuries create depth gaps. A trade for Matthew Stafford in exchange for Olly Gordon is recommended as a safe quarterback upgrade. In a 0-8 redraft scenario, panic trades are advised to build volume and stability, with players like Tucker Kraft or McMillan being good options. The discussion also emphasizes the importance of flexible roster building, especially in leagues with limited bench slots, where targeting injury-prone players and leveraging waiver wire opportunities is key. Overall, the conversation underscores the value of adaptability, injury awareness, and strategic trades to succeed in fantasy football.

And be on the show at fantasy pros.com slash chat. All right, Tara, what are you looking forward to most this weekend? I am looking forward to most Arizona versus Detroit, because all games against Detroit are my happy place. I know that like the state Tyler check, let us down a little bit in terms of fantasy production, but still I mean, same general formula for these guys. It's just a lighted up scenario. And I love it that one we're in a dome, yay. So that's awesome because Arizona has been on the road. So I'm ready to see this show inside a dome and get some volume from Jacobi percent. Yeah, I am. I'm pretty excited about that game as well. I got a couple of prop bets on Michael Wilson. So yeah, that one's going to be a really fun one for sure. And I'm I just want to see Jamar chase come back. I want to see Justin Jefferson come back. I just want to see some of these guys play. Unfortunately, it looks like no Lamar. So some snoop huntly action this weekend as well. And yeah, man, I'm just I am ready for the weekend. But let's see who has some questions for us and catalysts. You are up first. What do you have for us? My friend, come on up. Hi, Bog. Hi, Tara. Thanks for having me on the show. So I'm sharing my rebuild on chat. And so as far as the picks go for next year, I'm pretty confident. I'm going to get one on one and I have a projected mid round and a late round. And I was seeing if there was a potential by lows that I could do right now with the late pick. I was thinking mainly of. Of the Miami running back. Oh, God, I already forgot his name. It's a job. But yeah, yeah, H and H or if there's a potential other target. I could go with the late pick. What are your thoughts to start us here, Tara? Is that something that you would do with knowing the incoming class is good? Or is this something where you want to hold those picks? So we're definitely holding the one on one and holding the first. But I think you could write idea in the mid one. But the the late one, I think you have the right idea in trying to ship that one off. I was thinking about it because I too have a rebuild and I have H and and I'm and I'm. I'm not selling them because I'm at a rebuild. But yeah, if you've got the, the, the person who roster summon your league is competing. I think of the first is reasonable. You might have to, you might have to attempt it. Add a little something in maybe, but I think that's a very good target. Now those first, well, I guess I'll just put a couple of names here together on this list. Herbert Gentile Ave. Would you be willing to give up that late first for any of those three in a super flux? Oh, no, those are the guys already have. Oh, those are the guys you have my bad. Yeah, okay, everything that I already have. I was like, man, I think I would give up a first for, you know, gente right now. If I could possibly get that, but that's your team, my bad. That's Herbert for set. Gentile Ave lemon conception on Loveland and pits. So this class, and we've talked about this on the dynasty discord a lot. This class is supposed to be insanely good, specifically for super flex. But having those three picks, I think that people are starting to overvalue the first round picks in 2027. So I think it's a good, it's a good idea to see what you can get because people are now starting to overpay. So I'm with Tara. I think I would make some of those moves. If you possibly can anything else for us catalyst? No, that's it. I felt like that targeting or running back with the late pick is probably my best move, which is why I thought of H and then I could just use my early picks for obviously Jeremiah Smith. And hopefully someone else may be a becker. Yeah, I mean, that would be nice. I will say that I think that second pick, like the first pick is definitely going to be Jeremiah Smith. I think that second pick is probably going to be a quarterback or you're going to be able to trade it for something better than what's on the board. You know what I mean? Because quarter, there's going to be a decent amount of quarterbacks coming out here. So I think, you know, I wouldn't I wouldn't trade that second, that middle pick until I get to the draft and see what's on the board when I'm picking. So because it might be worth way more than the actual skill position players there. If it's like, you know, Jeremiah Smith and then six quarterbacks straight or something like that. So, but great idea on trading flipping that last one. That's how you turn picks into actual studs. So I really like this idea. Good work catalyst. All right. Let's see who is next up to talk to us here. Joe, what is going on? Joe, how are we doing? Good. How are you going to be doing great? What do you got for us? Yes, sir. So I have a start or sit question for you guys for half PPR. I just need you to pick what you guys think one for the best flex option would be. I have a manual Wilson, Travy on Henderson, March on Lloyd. Debo Samuel or Davante Smith if healthy. I know it's a lot, sorry. I don't think Davante Smith is going to play. So I think we can take him out. Give me the first two again. It was a manual Wilson and who manual Wilson, Travy on Henderson and Debo Samuel. Tara, over half point, who are you looking at? And half point between, I would say to me, this is between Wilson and Henderson. Yeah. And it comes down to what is, whatever is going on with Ramadre Stevenson. And hopefully by the end of today's practice report, we'll get a little bit more detail. I assume tomorrow we'll get that final choice. But as of right now, as long as we still have Henderson in the mix, I am leaning towards going with the manual Wilson. But if Ramadre Stevenson is out, he vaults ahead of just because of pure volume, decent matchup with Vegas. Defense has been strong. But I mean, if the workload is purely on him, we've seen what he would do. So yes, I would put him solidly ahead of Wilson, if Ramadre Stevenson is out. Yeah, I agree 100%. This is exactly the correct take in my opinion. Let's, let's wait and see what happens with Ramadre. If Ramadre is in there, then it's Immanuel Wilson. He looked great last week. A lot of misforce tackles, mirror mis tackles, forced, excuse me. Just more explosive plays. And we've seen from Alani. Obviously they decided not to go with mixing. So Wilson is going to be the guy and have a lot of volume. But like Tara said, if Stevenson is down, Henderson's value really does go through the roof. And the matchups a little bit better as well, going up against Vegas versus San Francisco. His defense has been pretty strong to start the season. So a little bit of a caveat, but I think, I think Stevenson's going to play. So I think this will end up being Immanuel Wilson for you, but we will hold that out. If Stevenson sits, it's Henderson. So perfect. And then much got one more thing for my full point PPR league. I'm trying to figure out what would be the best RB2 player, either Alvin Camera or Will Shipley. But the fantasy pro's app is suggesting me to start Camera over Shipley. And I just want to see what you guys think about. Like if the fantasy pro app is suggesting you to do something, do you guys more than likely, you know, just do what the app says? Or do you kind of just, you know, base it off of where you kind of think yourself? Yeah. I mean, they're so close, like an ECR for their 29 and 31. In that case, I think I would probably in a PPR, actually, I'm looking at half PPR, ECR. So let me flip over to PPR and see if there is a difference between Shipley. Yeah. And this one, Shipley is 25 and Camera is 26. So Tara, what are your thoughts about Shipley versus Camera as your RB2 and a PPR? So problem is, is that both are in terrible, terrible matchups, right? And I get the reason why in full PPR, they're putting Shipley ahead because obviously Shipley does have solid and, you know, in terms of they'll be raising up, obviously, you know, Damien Pierce and can he theoretically catch some passes? Sure, but probably not. Will Shipley's got that trust. So at the very least, Shipley and Camera are similar in the sense of the fact that they will be the primary ones getting the check downs. But the difference is is that I think that Camera's check downs are going. It's a much higher baseline level. So even in full PPR, I still lean towards Alvin Camera. Again, unfortunately, this is another one that is dealing with an injury. He kind of, you know, got banged up a little bit with the knee and left the game, came back in. So he's mispracticed on Wednesday. But again, but honestly, I think he best practiced with the back injury. So maybe this is just kind of something that is just a little management and not a major issue. I would be more than willing to risk it as long as he's cleared by Friday and go with Alvin Camera. Yeah, I think the difference for me is that Alvin camera scored twice last week, right? Like I just don't really, I, I don't buy into him as a guy that is going to stack yards for you. So I would say that shipply with a full run and not being questionable probably has a higher floor, but the higher ceiling and that's typically what we want from an RB2 is Camara because he scored twice. And I think if you get near the goal line for Philly, it's just more likely going to be Jalen than it is shipply. So that's why I would lean towards Alvin Camara just slightly. So a good question, Joe. Thank you, my friend. Thank you. You got it. All right. We got Sully next. What's going on? Sully, how are we doing? Guys, how are you doing? Great. What you got for us? So I got kind of more of a trade question for you. I'm going to drop a team in the chat so it makes it a little bit easier. So I had a manager offer me. It's a little background. It's 14 team full PPR league manager offer me Matthew Stafford, George Dickens, there's a room of Dunes a sending to me. And then I would send the back Olly Gordon and Zay flowers. I'm not trading Zay. There's no way, but I do need a little bit of quarterback help because Caleb is out and I'm starting air in Rogers this week. So I was thinking I was just wanted your thoughts on maybe just sending Olly Gordon kind of sell a high and maybe grabbing Stafford as a low end QB one. What are your thoughts on on that one, Tara? Trade away Olly Gordon and get Matthew Stafford. Yeah, I'm 100% okay with that. I got scared at first. You said Zay and I was like, well, we're holding on to Zay. Upside is just too crazy high. Gordon, again, like as of right now, he is the RB one. I trust it, but it is a it's a long season. So at any point, we could continue to see this maybe become a hot hand situation. So to offload Gordon right now in order for you to secure a more stable option at quarterback is I think the right move for you for sure. Yeah, I would I guess I would ask like what are the are there any quarterbacks on waivers, but if there were, you probably wouldn't be starting air in Rogers. So yeah, I would say that this is a fair trade. You are selling high a little bit and Stafford, you're kind of buying low on Stafford. Dude, just don't pick in every single game. It hasn't looked exactly like the guy we saw last year. So yeah, I think for the way your team is structured, this is a fine deal. So thanks Ace. You got it, Sully. Appreciate you. We got Cornwallis up here. What's up, Cornwallis? What can we do for you? So I want to talk about a tight end position. It's pretty bad. I'm looking at getting Mike mayor, not for this week. I'm streaming just sticky, but like I feel like Mike mayor is kind of being slept on a little bit based on the fact that like the Raiders run 12 person all the time that they're willing to throw out of 12 person all the time in rock hours is effectively their wife and super one. So they're not being deployed the same way. And I think that he's just going to make this offense better overall. So it might open more stuff up. So just want to get your rest to take on that and see what you're thought. So who is you would start mayor over who? Well, not this week. I'm trying to think it's like brand strange, Dalton Schultz, Gadson. Like all those guys who are between just sticky this week and Mike mayor. I got you. What are your overarching thoughts on Michael mayor, Tara? Are you are you in this camp as well? Where hey, look, this guy's underrated. They don't have a true number one white out. It's kind of powers. We know obviously the ball is going to gente first. And then mayor is third in this offense. Or do you think he's more of sometimes third and sometimes fifth? I honestly think he has a more solid floor than trade Tucker. Obviously, Tucker would have the higher ceiling, but really and truly, yeah, I think he leans more towards the third. It's ironic because when we needed him as the starter and he was the actual starter, he did not put up the numbers. But again, you mentioned the amount of times that he's on the field. And this was something that the Raiders talked about during the off season, the coaching staff. They were very clear that their intention was to utilize Michael mayor on the field at the same time as Brock Bauer. So I don't think it's an anomaly. This is something that they want to do moving forward. And it has been working out pretty well. I, too, am surprised that he hasn't been for my roof further up in ECR. He's at what height in 26 now in ECR. And looking at the guys ahead of it, I mean, it just you got Greg Dolson, guys like Greg Dolson, and Britain Strange, and unreliable pile pits, a rendez-gads, then which I totally get. But the same opportunity is there for mayor. And the offense is functioning better and he's seen more consistent targets. So yeah, I think he's a very interesting stash and deeper leaks. And to your point, Cornwallis, I just pulled up PFF here and I'm looking at routes run by tight ends. Mayor is eighth. He's ahead of Friar Moose, Ferguson, Loveland, Kelsey, Kraft, likely Cassicki, Hawkinson, Waller, Barner, Evan Ingram, Brendan Strange. He's ahead of. So he has run way more routes now as route percentage is lower than some of those guys, but it's still higher than Loveland. It's higher than Hunter Henry. It's higher than TJ Hawkinson. So yeah, I think this is a very smart grab and stash. It's a good way to look at things here as well. And I agree. I think that him being at 26 for this week is probably too low. Maybe a little bit match up based because New England's defense, you know, it is historically good. But I would take him over like Pitz and Gadsden and Otton and Barner and maybe even Pat Friar Moose like these guys just aren't doing a lot right now. So I'm with you. I think it's a great point to make Cornwallis. You got anything else for us today? I guess a quick question since I didn't realize there's a Ramondra Stevenson issue. If Ramondra is out, would you play Denzel Boston or Anderson? I mean, if Stevenson is out, I'm going Henderson just because I think is the volume makes the floor so high and his burst makes his ceiling so high. But, you know, I really do like playing Denzel Boston. And I have Boston in a lot of my lineups this week. So it's not by like a super surprisingly high margin, but everything that Tara said earlier in the show, I think just sticks out when there's no Stevenson. There's, you agree with that, right, Tara? Yeah, 100%. Yeah. Yeah. So it's Henderson in that scenario. If there is no Stevenson. So appreciate you, Cornwallis. Good questions, my friend. And a great point to make on Michael Mayer there. So very, very, very good point. See, next is really him, man, I need better classes. This purple, this purple, I cannot read what's all right. Can you go to him? We got you. So I have a super flex team that started O and eight. We play against a league media in every week. I haven't scored above 100 points one time except for this last week where I had to score 43 for me and I barely cleared 100. So do I read alert panic and start trading, patent, basal as my only two valuable options or do I stand pat and wait for Caleb to come back and maybe just try to play waivers. I was, so I'm sorry. What's your record? 0 and 8. Is it a redraft or dynasty? With a redraft. Redraft, okay. Yeah, I'd probably panic. I'd probably start making moves if I'm 0 and 8 to start. You know, one for twos, a lot of that trade tent McMillan after this big game. I mean, I guess you do get to make up more games if you're playing to every single week. But I don't know, like starting 0 and 8 just feels rough. I know it's the equivalent starting 0 and 4, but I don't know. What are your thoughts here, Tara? Are you I think in an 0 and 8, 0 and 4 scenario, I'm probably hitting the panic alarm. Yeah, I need to start selling off unfortunately. I mean, there could be value in Tucker Kraft as well that you could maybe do if you've got some people out there in your league that are struggling. We got Tucker Kraft off the big game. Claire volume in that offense is not going to stop. Jordan Love is going to be pushing 300 yards on a very regular basis of the way that defense looks. So yeah, I would start a little fire sale there with McMillan and Tucker Kraft off of the high games. And yeah, you're right. You're going to have to do two for ones. You're looking for you don't need the superstars. You need more volume so that you don't have to start guys like Donton Haybacks or you and Marvin Harrison Jr. Jordan Addison. Yeah, that's that's you had you had a tough start here. So, but I think don't accept any trade. It's got to it's got to make your to me when you're in this scenario, you have to make a trade that makes your starting lineup better overall. So if you're downgraded from Bay shell to need to be adding a wide receiver to right. Make sure that that running back is okay, but the wide receiver has to be better than wicks or bell like that. That's how I would say that. Same thing for trading tech like you can take the step down from tech to a different wide receiver, but whoever you get back also has to be better than wicks. So the two need to be better than your two. And that usually will make the other roster better because they're getting a starter and, you know, moving a bench piece. So it's hard to do this, but it's possible. And I think with an ONA record, you probably need to start firing on it. So anything else for us? No, that's about it. Thanks, Ben. You got it. Appreciate you. Take it easy. Let's see who is next here. We got Grand Lake Rocks. What's going on, Grand Lake? How are we doing today? Doing good yourselves. How's it going today? Awesome. Awesome. What you got for us? All right. So I am in a 14 team of PPR league with the bi-weeks coming up right now. We're starting to see some actual quality players because it's only three bench slots Be kind of dropped with all the injuries and what not going on. So we actually have Guys like Travis H-An. E-T-N. I don't know how you pronounced any more H-An. H-An, Jalen Warren got dropped, but I'm 4-0, so I'm not going to be able to Get them basically, but I'm looking to just try to upgrade with everything going on. And so, you know, I've been trying to get the The genty owner to bite on something their own 4, but would you do something like Jalen Waddle and Tudon? Maybe for James Cook because you can go and get you know, E-T-N on waivers Probably. Yeah, yeah, that is so I love this type of short bench league where people start to panic and Throw out some good players. I'm I'm in a big money league that that's like that with one of my my friends It is it's hard, you know knowing when to buy Because that's also no fab. It's like a waiver priority thing So if you pick somebody up you go to the bottom Trades in these type of leagues with good players on the wire are some of my favorites to do because you can do that Where you trade two guys for one, but it's never really two guys for one It's the two guys you move you get the one good one back and you get somebody for free off the wire So free in most cases. I would say so what are your thoughts on this Tara? Yeah, I'm 100% agree with you. I'm fine with that combination for cook I would also, you know tell you you have the ability to also try and shop around Aaron Jones in combination with Waddle as well Just don't settle for you know getting rid of Tudon just because long term I would rather have Tudon on roster than Aaron Jones and I think Aaron Jones isn't a little better by high position And maybe you can sneak one over on somebody that's panicking because at some point Jordan Mason is gonna be out So my favorite combo would be Aaron Jones and Jalen Waddle, but I don't mind the Aaron Jones and Basel Tudon one Agreed. Awesome. Yeah. Yeah, that's it for me. Thank you so much. You got it. Thank you, Grand Lake. Appreciate you Before we move on to the next question here I need to tell you guys about this new prediction market called polymarket. It's a stock exchange sports buying in Selling out on your terms when your team goes down to 20% you can buy in and sell it off at 40% when they come back to double your money They're so confident. You'll never go back to the other guys. They're giving you a free $25 on your first trade. We need to pause it just $10 and now they've launched a new feature squads a group chat where you can see What everyone is trading on so download the polymarket app today and use the code fp pod when you sign up That's fp pod to get $25 free. We need to pause it just 10 dollars. All right. Next up here is Bucksman What's going on Bucksman? How are we doing? I've got two questions here. One is in a 10-man standard league. One of my league mates Dave I guess they can't adopt Drake may last week before they beat the bills. So I picked them up I've him and Trevor Lawrence and I'm wondering if I'll start this week. Let's say they're back to back ECR and My thing with Trevor is it's like every other week. He plays like okay, and in the other week he plays really good So I'm trying to start which one to start this week Well, what's your thought there? Tara Drake may versus Trevor Lawrence and like like Buck said here. They are back to back in ECR at Are I guess they're not it's Trevor Lawrence at six and Drake may is at eight, but they are closed They're both QB ones. Are you Lawrence versus Philly or may against the Raiders? I am trusting Lawrence a little bit more because there's a lot going on with Philly, right? The defense hasn't been as strong as it's been in the past some odd performances from the secondary and then of course we got the struggles on offense We don't know if we're getting to want a smith back no sick one So perhaps some more struggles on offense create more opportunities for The Jags offense to be on the field where this Philadelphia defense down So overall once we get through the entire game Trevor Lawrence comes out on top and they're just so deep at receiver So yeah, I mean Lawrence hasn't been pushing aggressive volume and like for anyone just like don't panic on that right because they're in the difficult part of their schedule once we get back from their biweek I mean, it's just layup after layup after layup in terms of fantastic matchups So the higher volume days are ahead. So I don't know in this matchup. We're still going to get Trevor Lawrence going over 30 attempts But he's been so efficient. I'm okay with leaning into him as the safer option. Yeah, I would say Trevor Lawrence is definitely safer But this is the London game anything to that or is it just say look the Jaguars That's basically a home game for them. They've done it so many times Yeah, they're very experienced at it. So I mean, I know sideways things can go very sideways with Lord last week sideways with these International games, but I do trust them as a team a little bit more and I'm still okay with it. So yeah, international game not deterring me too much from Trevor Lawrence. Yeah I think I have made one spot ahead of Lawrence this week, but it's not like this is such a coin flip And all the things that you said about Philly apply and it's not just about You know Trevor Lawrence having a good game against this defense. It's also like how long it's Philly's offense going to hold the ball They're down three offensive linemen. They're best wide receiver. They're best running back Right Trevor Lawrence is going to hold the ball a lot and that could make the passing volume go up as well So I'll co-sign on this. I do have may slightly higher Just because I'm excited about how good he look last week, but I'm fine rolling Lawrence Lawrence definitely gives you the higher floor in my opinion as well So if you're looking for floor to me, it's definitely Lawrence But if you need to play the upside if you have biweek issues or injuries or stuff like that for sealing I would start May so that's how I would break it down Anything else for us buck? Yeah, yeah, one more question. So this was in a different way. It's a 14 man half PPR league and I'm struggling with us some injury So my flex position I have Darius Cooper or Jaylen right as as the flex Yeah Tara Darius Cooper versus Jaylen right like I'd say what for a 14 man as your last flex spot Not the worst it and I'm playing 16 man's too. So I have made much more gross decisions than this one I think it probably has to be Cooper right now right or would you go with volume for Jaylen right Tara No, I'm gonna go with Cooper and oddly enough I probably feel more comfortable with it than I should again This is for deeper leagues right, but I feel more comfortable with it because of what we saw last week and and you know Hey, perhaps Philadelphia decides that they want to Make some offensive vision changes because it didn't quite work last week But my gut tells me that they stick with the same concept that they had of They're not really adjusting a Kylem and roll and pushing him to the outside They're not tilting more volume to Don Tevian wicks They're just doing a replacement of we're shoving Cooper in there and we're rolling with this offense as we use it on a weekly basis So That does give him a certain baseline of targets and he seems to have for the end zone So that's cool. So if he's getting those looks they don't have a reliable consistent tight in and you know We're still waiting to see you know zackers get up to speed and whatnot But yeah, I think maybe he's that bigger presence in the red zone and touchdown dependent But those touchdowns are gonna be there especially because we expect Jacksonville to be able to Push the ball well still on this defense. So I'm okay with going with Cooper Rather than right just risking the this It being the Ollie Gordon show because he's got the hot hand coming into the game What if what if you threw Cody white into this wrench Uh the Cody white wrench in here when you start Cody white over Darius Cooper It gets to the lane towards Cooper. I think so too with all the injuries that they have Right now. I think I would roll with with Cooper as well But I just ask that question because uh Scott Boggman may have an issue where he has to start Cody white in the league But Cooper I think Cooper's on the wire there too. I'm like man Uh, this is this is where we're at, but good question here. I like the deep questions bucks man good stuff there appreciate you my friend Um, you got it. Uh, let's see who is up next buzzard What is going on buzzard? Uh, what can we do for you today my friend How's it going you guys? Can you guys hear me? We got you I love this picture with the orange cat too, by the way. Thank you. I'm dropping my team in the chat I need help at running back. I want to see like is there anything you guys would do to help me upgrade at running back because I'm in dire deed Let's see we got Bucky Chorum lamb Evans Kittles Zay Santos and then what's the bench here We got Barclay who's hurt John Johnson McCoy lemon shipley hill Brooks and Tyson. So I it's it's injuries here I mean, I do think Barclay is going to be back next week. So yeah, I think you'll be okay But with with this squad It would probably be dealing if you do want to upgrade an RB spot It's probably dealing from your wide receiver depth right Tara Yeah, I agree with that one. I mean ultimately long-term your team should play out well but moving on from Yeah, I'm just trying to make sure that you have the ability to start someone other than Blake Chorum because the volume has just dipped to no consistency for him to help get you by for right now while Barkley is out. This hopefully next week, but you know, but you've also got will shiply on there. So, you know what, this is more of a shop at a round kind of situation because technically speaking, you can just roll with Shipley this week with Bucky Irving. If you want to go that direction and uncomfortable with Corms floor being a little bit low and then shop around the while I'd receive her. Mike Evans still has good trade value because of perception of him, and he has the clear wider saber one of that team. But it's not the worst thing in the world to move off of him because we do know that he is, you know, older, continually getting banged up, but he's going through it. But we worry about these injuries, you know, that keep plaguing him. So, perhaps it's a nice cell situation for you to get back a decent running back that you can actually ride. All right, sounds good. I appreciate you guys. You got it now. Tara, let me ask you this off off of this question. Would now be a good time in a scenario like this to possibly trade Zayflowers. He's got Lamb, he's got Evans. I don't particularly want to trade Zayflowers, but his value is very high right now. And Lamar is starting to deal with these injuries again this season. So, is this maybe the time to start looking, you know, or at least floating the idea of trading Zayflowers just to see what type of offers you would get? I love Zay so much, but I think it is worth it. I've been enjoying the, I've been enjoying the fantasy post to trade market values because that allows you to get like a direct one for one look at the value of a receiver like Zayflowers. I mean, he's got clear top 10 value right now. So, you are trading him at a high. And he can yield you an actual RB1. Depending on what route you wanted to go, I mean, it might be shooting a little bit, but considering the true upside that Zay has, you could go for a journey. So, he is going to yield you an RB1. So, if you want to go that route and you feel comfortable rolling with your wider receivers because you're super safe with CD and you would rather just make that transition to get you a clear RB1, Zay is a reasonable ad to really get you into that Chase Brown and above range of running backs. Yeah, Chase Brown is kind of the example I was thinking of. I think that's probably, I mean, if you could get Genti, I would do that all day. That's just like so many touches, so much floor for Genti. But Chase Brown, I think, is looked down at right now because he just hasn't put up big numbers quite yet. And he's still really good running back and still kind of the solo running back there. Right now, like I know they usually be running too, but he's the volume king there for sure. Austin, you were up next. My friend, what do you got for us, Austin? So in my super flex dynasty, I just threw my team in the chat. I was offered, I would trade CDLAM for Luther Bird and in three first round picks. Two of those first round picks would be late this year though. I was wondering if you think that would be enough because I have like no running back depth right now. And I have a pretty good team, but like I don't have a ton of depth just in general. I was wondering if you think like is Bird in plus the three first enough or do you think I should be asking for more? Or do you think with this team I should just hold on to LAM? Man, I think, I think burden in three firsts is enough. And I'm not one to trade a guy like LAM when he's doing this stuff. Specifically, if I think I can win, but I see your point about you like your second running back spot is in question now because Ed Chen is hurt. Corn's not getting volume. Hampton is split between two other guys right now. But the rest of your wide receivers are still really good. Nico Pickens, lad Terry and you're going to add burden back into that group and you get three first round picks back. Tara, I just think this is almost, this is a Godfather trade, right? Like this is one that you want to say no to because LAM is your best player, but it's too good to refuse. Yeah, and I knew you were going to say yes when I heard those picks. I'm like, he is definitely going to say yes on this one because again, I mean, yeah, we've still got a long way to go in season. And obviously classes can flip on a dime. But we do feel really, really good about this wide receiver class. So that many first, is it going to yield you a CD LAM specific? I mean, obviously, we don't know what it could be. Could it, it could be a CD LAM maybe not? But at the same time, that's a lot. So I could absolutely move on that. I think you've got the right idea for sure. Because as Boggs mentioned, you're just very deep at wide receiver. In terms of guys who are having down years right now, like LADD, but still have the potential to yield value in the future. And Austin, do you still have your first round pick for 27 as well? So you'd have three 27 firsts? Yeah, I have my first round pick, but I don't have my second or third. So I don't have another pick until the fourth if I don't do this trade. Okay, I mean, but also what this could do is this could, you could take two of these picks and potentially move up to get a guy that you want, a running back that's coming out, maybe to shore that up, you know, a wide receiver. Maybe you're maybe you're picking three with your pick. And you could take the other two and move up to get your Maya Smith. So I think just getting those picks also gives you a lot of flexibility in what you want to do with this roster, which is probably add a little more depth to quarterback because behind me, it's Daniels, who's obviously injury prone, Penex, who's had injury issues, and Kyler is not working on Minnesota yet. So I just think that this, this trade gives your roster a lot of flexibility. You're trading the best player on your roster, which is always hard to do. But I think it gives you so much roster, so much flexibility moving forward for this roster. I think I think it's, it's that godfather deal that you kind of have to say yes to. So I would definitely do this trade. So I was thinking the same thing. And with the way of doomsday hasn't looked that great. I feel like there's a chance that burden ends up being the number one in Chicago. Also, it definitely could be. I think they're both still going to be good. I mean, we've seen them with, you know, what is it? Two games of Caleb Williams here and then backups. So, you know, I think there's still like, oh, doomsday can still rise to the top. But I think both those guys are going to be valuable and loved one. So I just like every piece of this bear's offense. So yeah, I'm pulling the trigger on that one for sure. So thanks Austin. Great, great, great trade. You got offered and good discussion you brought to the show today. Appreciate you, my friend. So answer these questions and then get to anything we can in the chat at the end. So let's see who is up next. It is Stephen. What's going on? Stephen, what can we do for you, my friend? I am just having some questions because I am fine. I think I am out on on Jalen Hertz and I want to make sure I'm not crazy for actually starting Jacoby Brasette. The Eagles have like one of the word. I think it's like their EPA per place 31st on offense or something like that. Something atrocious. I think the only team that's works is them is the Bucks. Am I crazy for saying I want a piece of this Arizona Cardinals offense? I have Brasette at seven this week and I have Jalen Hertz at 12 at quarterback. So the matchup is just too good. It's the first thing Tara brought up when I asked her what she's looking forward to this weekend, right? Is watching this Lions a Cardinals game? Oh, sorry. I jumped onto the show late. So I did. No, no, no, I was I was handing that to Tara. My bag. I was not scolding you. I promise that was a hand on Tara. Well, I do have since we just did already cover that. I do have a second question if we wanted to cover that instead. Please, please. Yeah, go ahead. Of course. So I have the best running back in football as my RB one. Not the best fantasy football running back, but the best running back in football. B. John Robinson. And I've got a bunch of others as my RB two. And I'm debating whether I should start a manual Wilson who had a great week last week. Ollie Gordon. Omari and Hampton. And unfortunately drafted him super high David Montgomery. Man, lay him out one more time. Give us all four real quick. Of course, of course, David Montgomery. A manual Wilson. Ollie Gordon. Omari and Hampton. Who who he is solid. We're picking one. Correct. Just one. Yes, picking one to start next to B. John. All right, Tara, who do you have out of that group? It is a manual Wilson for me. I'm going with the guy with the guaranteed volume in the best offense between that grouping. I know that maybe the matchup with San Francisco makes it a little bit closer. But and we're looking at a guy like David Montgomery. You can make the argument saying, okay, hey, we've got a matchup. Again, it's Tennessee. It's generally been a matchup where Houston should finally be on the right side of a game script to be playing from ahead and then they can yeah, hopefully and then they can run the ball with David Montgomery and maybe we'll get back to that week one version. But I can't, I just can't take that risk when you have an manual Wilson that is more than likely going to beating a solid 15 plus and could hit that 20 range again. The only thing that could maybe hurt him is you know, San Francisco's offense is so strong that it can make it me or maybe the game script flips. But even then, so we did see an uptake and check down usage from him as well. So they like him and this is where it should have been for the first couple of weeks in terms of using. in manual Wilson. So it's Wilson that I trust the most of that group. Yeah. And looking at ECR, uh, we got Wilson at 17. Dave and Montgomery at 23. Ollie at 25 and Hampton at 26. And I'm, I'm pretty similar. I believe I have Wilson at 18. I have Hampton at 21. I have Montgomery at 24 and Ollie at 25. So I do think Dave Montgomery could have a bounce back. But I just don't know how like it's been three weeks in a row. He's been terrible, awesome week one and three awful weeks in a row. I don't know how it can't be manual Wilson out of this. Well, and like kind of to your point, they dropped his touches by like nearly half. You have 20 in week one. And I think last weekend, what 10 something. Yeah, yeah. That's, that's, that's, that's the GameScript stuff. Tara was talking about two where it's like, you should have this lead. So if you're beating Tennessee, who is bad and you have this lead, you should be able to turn around and hand the ball off to Montgomery to beat them up and wear them down for the second half. But, you know, the way, the way the defense has been playing C.J. Schraut had one of his best offensive games in the regular season ever last week. So it shouldn't be like this with that defense. But the defense has been miserable. So I don't know if Tennessee is going to put it together against them. But everybody else has. So it's just very surprising the way things have gone in Houston so far. So yeah, I think we're both on Emanuel Wilson out of that group. You got anything else for us, Steven? No, perfect. That's who I had in and I was just, I, I wanted to make sure I was, I was in the right thing. So I appreciate both you guys have a great rest of your day. You got it. Thank you. And Tara just to, to make sure we're on your quarterback rankings. How high is Berset this week for you? You're slightly higher, which is probably putting me to shame. It's that tells me that I need to adjust and get up. I'm just like giving like a slight difference to Drake May. Still off of the big game. And so yeah, I've got him at nine right now, but honestly, I realized that I, you know, probably just need to go ahead and bite the bullet and move him off to where he should be his rightful place. Yeah. And it's funny. Jaylen is, Jaylen's fallen back to 16 in ECR. Oh, I didn't realize he was that low. Like I still do think that if they get near the goal line, he can score a couple rushing touchdowns, specifically with Barkley out. But how are they getting there against Jacksonville, right? I think that's the question. And it is a weird early London start for Philly who's not used to this like the Jaguars are and it's basically going to be a Jacksonville home game, even though it's an international territory and I know it's technically a Jags home game. Anyway, but they're just there so often people get behind them. So yeah, great questions there. Appreciate you, Steven. Ronan, you have next my friend. Ronan, how are you all doing? Great. Two quick or two questions really. The first one's about this week trying to find a person for my last flex spot. Got like Algier Cooper, Shipley, JCM. I don't remember me. Who's who's the person to go with this week? You think so Algier, Shipley and Jacori Croskey, Marit. Who are you picking between those three, Tara? Oh, it is in an ideal world, JCM. I know again, you know, he's was listed with a growing injury. We'll see obviously things have not been super effective for him. Although last week was just a strange situation. And I think we should get him back up a little bit higher in carries. Last week was low nine carries. And obviously the in the addition of Austin Ecclerb is maybe making this panic a little bit, but JCM should still have the bulk of the workload on the ground. In a much better matchup against the Giants. So I would still lean JCM just for overall better team environment, especially with J and Daniels back man, I just can't do it. I think I'm low ranker on JCM this week. Overall, I'm at 37. I do have Algier at 35 against Detroit, whose defense has just been bad. And I have Will Shipley at 31 against Jacksonville just because there's no other running back there. I think it's Jayden blue is behind Will Shipley right now. So there's just not a lot on the roster behind him. So I just think for volume for me, it'll be Shipley. I just JCM being questionable, maybe Rashad White back. Uh, I, I just don't trust Jayden Daniels at all to stay healthy either. So I'm slightly on Shipley. So I don't know if we're giving you much help here. So that's okay. You know, that's kind of the coin flip I was with too. I mean, what about Darius Cooper you were talking about earlier? Would you start him over any of those two? No, I think there, I think the volume for all three of those guys is just way more than Darius Cooper. So I, and, you know, I know Cooper scored a couple times, but I think, you know, out of this group, I would say Algier is probably the most likely to score out of these guys because that's a really high total game between Detroit and Arizona. And, uh, Jeremiah loves not a hundred percent. So, yeah, this is a good question because the, the margins are razor thin here. So, um, Cory Croskey, Merritt is probably in the best matchup as Tara mentioned. I think Tyler Algier is most likely to score and Will Shipley is probably going to have the best volume. So it is, we are messing with really tiny margins here. So I would lean towards Shipley, you know, whoever your gut says, I, I think that's probably who you should play. So if you have like a gut feeling one way or the other, the margins are so thin, I would just go with your gut. Well, let me add this in a, please. Sorry. We add this in as well. Um, with the Jeremiah love injury, if he is cleared off of the plaque, the injury report off after the Friday practice, I kind of have a little theory based on what Jeremiah love was saying in terms of how they're managing his workload. Is they're trying to help him not get overworked and dealing with this ankle injury. We're seeing highs and lows, right? You know, high performance touches come down high performance touches come down. So if we see him cleared by tomorrow and they're really just limiting and resting him and managing the carries, perhaps we get a workload increase that would make Tyler Algier less ideal. But if he's still questionable heading into the weekend, then that would be enough for me to bump Algier up and lean more into him. Okay. I love that. I love how you thought that out as well. That's, um, it's really good stuff, Tara, um, uh, cause I have not been paying attention to that, that's strong. So that is, that is really good info there. Um, just lowering that practice level after the big games and then removing the injury report means he's probably going to have a little bit more. So, uh, good stuff there for sure. You got anything else for us? Ronan? Yeah. In the, yeah, in the chat, I put in my, my roster in there. I'm five and three. I've lost the last two games, but in some injuries, my question to you is, I've seen a lot of my players on the, uh, you know, maybe sell or trade blocks, like model and lots and Smith and Swift even, um, I'm just, is there anybody on that roster right there that you think we need to start getting moved, uh, whether that be, you know, the Vante Smith on a bed, on a sinking team or something like that. I, I don't, I don't know that I have like a, a great feeling about moving anyone here, uh, on this roster, Tara, when you look at this, tell us about Christian Watson. You're the Packers fan here is Christian Watson. I got that we should be moving on from at this point. I don't want to write after the down game just because there's so much negative associated with the Packers, offensive line and with Jordan love. So coming on, I mean, the, the value is still high, but I worry perception might be just a tiny bit low. So this is not the most ideal time to sell him, but I, you know, ironically, maybe ship, uh, shop around Jalen Waddle with the news of Sean Peyton taking over play calling. That might read as a super positive big change and maybe make someone, you know, want to get over zealous and overpay for him. So maybe that's the direction. But honestly, overall, I love your wide receiver core. Um, last week was just a down week. Tampa Bay's ideal, not an ideal matchup. We are going to continue to see Jordan love pushing volume. So you've got high volume assets there in a lobby and Watson, hopefully Philadelphia can figure things out, but at least we know that Smith is the wide receiver one. And then there's a sending Denzel Boston, who is just a few good matchups away from becoming a weekly wide receiver too. So yeah, there's, there's, there's a lot of promise here, you're, you're deep at receiver. So you can move one, but just know it's a good group. I think so too. I, and like Tara said, if you are floating, uh, some of these guys, Denzel Boston might bring you back a little more than expected right now. He might bring you back nothing, but he's the guy that might, it might be nice to float specifically if he has good week this week, uh, and just see what type of offers are coming back to you. So good stuff, Ronan, uh, that's everything. The answer, I appreciate it. You got it. I appreciate you all do. Oh, thank you. Uh, appreciate you. Let's see, who is next here, Chinser? What is going on? Chinser, how are we doing my friend? We are doing great. Look at you guys stepping up in the absence of Welsh and Erickson. Yeah, we figured you all wanted a good show this time. So yeah, finally, that's why everybody's back. That's right. That's right. What do you got for us, my friend? Two questions. One, I made a trade in a 14 team full PPR league where to start two running backs. My running backs were awful. So I probably gave up a little too much. I gave up neighbors, Dave Montgomery, and Ramandre, and I got back genty and then just Blake Korum. What do you guys think about that? Give it to me one more time. So I gave away neighbors, Ramondre and Monty. And then I got back Gentie and Koram. Yeah, probably an overpay. Who's here? Who's the other running back? You'll start with Gentie moving forward. It's either Koram or it's going to be Bill. The reason I gave it up is because I had Ramondre and Ramondre just had a good week. But Monty's been since week one almost a nothing. And then my wider severs are Puka, save flowers, and Christian Watson. So I was like, well, I value neighbors the least here. So I got to get something reliable in the RB1 spot. And hopefully RB2 will just show up off the waiver wire. I can plug and play until then. What are your thoughts on this trait, Tara? I mean, I do think it's an overpay, but over time, it won't be just because I think we're right at the I'm on the side of thinking that we're not going to see a major change in David Montgomery in this split that we're saying between him and what he marks is going to continue through the end of time. And maybe it'll pop up and be good and productive and good matchups. But for the most part, I don't want any piece of this backfield. So while it may be an overpay on paper right now, it probably will work out for you at the end of the day because Ramondre's volume is unreliable for a weekly basis. And there's just such a capped ceiling more than likely with 20. So ultimately pivoting to Gentie will work out for you. Just got to figure out who that who that RB2 is. But you're right, you know, guys pop up. So guys get injured and guys pop up. Yeah, I'm dealing from the depth that you had was the good thing to do. And you also dealt like the wide receiver who might be the most injury prone out of this group as well with milk neighbors. So yeah, I think overpay probably but for the structure of your roster, probably better than the long run as Tara mentioned. So all right. And I will say I'm in 214 team leagues. And it is like almost impossible to trade for ready backs in those leagues with how scarce they are. So especially with the market right now, everybody keeps going down. So I can't believe I was able to get it off. And but anyway, other ones at Dynasty, I have, I'm in full rebuild. My only pieces worth anything are Josh, challenger, Berlin Bowers and then Christian Watson. And so I put Christian Watson on the market and I have somebody who's interested. And I have a five first round picks for this next draft. Ooh, nice. And I, he already have his first for 27. And so I was wondering on the thoughts of like, I don't know what I would even do. Like my first thought was like maybe a second for this year's draft from him and then maybe his first next year. I mean, that might even be a little steep. I don't even, I don't know if you would do it. But what do you think on like the idea of like trading a player to someone who's first pick you already have and making their team a little bit better and potentially hurting your draft cap that'll even if you're acquiring more? Um, yeah, it's a, it's a good point to think of. But I think it's so far down the list that is not something I take into consideration as much, right? Because this guy's already good. If he's trading his first round pick, he's probably traded at other picks. I bet this roster is probably good. And if he doesn't get the wide receiver he wants from you, he'll probably just go get it from somebody else. So I don't know that I would think about it in terms of impacting your team in the long run of you're hurting yourself by doing this trade because he's probably gonna hurt you by doing the trade with somebody else anyway. So if you think that the trade benefits you overall in just within the trade, I would probably still end up doing it. Tara, do you have any different thoughts in those terms? Yeah, I agree with you on that one, especially because the first would be so far out that, you know, yeah, you never know what could go sideways. So ultimately, it might not even matter that you're making his team better. If you can manage to get the first and the second, I think I would make that move. Yeah, if you can get the first and the second, definitely do that deal. I just don't think you would. Tara, would you trade Washington for a 28 first straight up? Oh, I need to feel a lot more comfortable about where it was gonna be because we're talking about locked in contract, right? Yeah. Wide receiver one, probably a team that has zero interest in investing in another wide receiver. So this receiving court is what it is. They're gonna be, they're gonna be drafting linemen. So yeah, I think he's very safe, very, very safe in terms of his longevity. So I would need assurance that it's not going to be a very late first. And there's no way I know that because it feels, yeah. So I would need that second as well. Okay. There's two drug or nots in this league, but I mean, he's right there in that next to your teams, like probably in that five to third best team range. So he's trying to get up there. And he's gonna, like I said before, he's gonna make it happen one way or the other. So if you think, if you can get that second first, I'm pulling the trigger on that. I just, I do think that's an overpaying. I don't know that they'll do it, but that's one of those auto auto takes if I can do it. So maybe the world of fantasy football bounce out for my one overpaying the other league comes a overpay on his side for this league. I look at there. I got things guys. Thank you, Chancellor. It all seems to work out in the end, right? Like you reap what you sow is what it is for the most part. Oro, you will be our last question of the day here, my friend, what do you have for us? - Hey guys, can you hear me? - We got you, yes. - Awesome. I'm in a 10 man full PPR league. The only one that's 4-0. So feeling great about that. So far, I got a quick starter sit question for you. I need a running back and I need a flex. I have Braille and Allen, DeAndre Swift and Christian Watson, wanted to hear your guys input on that. - And we're starting two of these? - Yeah. I need a running back position and then a flex. Yeah, I need two of them. - Which two are you going with, Tara? - I still feel very good about DeAndre Swift for running back. I know that last week was a bummer, but as we've seen with multiple, I mean, Ramondre Stevenson is the perfect example. Punishment for fumbles usually is a game punishment. It doesn't extend into the next week. So in Swift and Menungai are both DeAndre and DeAndre, so we'll have to see what that shakes out. As but Swift is my preference in terms of running back and then Watson would be the flex. - Same. Yeah, no argument here. So I'm on that as well. So we're rolling Swift and Watson for you, Oro. - No, that was it, appreciate you guys's input. - Thank you, my friend. Take it easy and that is going to wrap it up for us. We appreciate everyone hanging out and asking your questions and we did it. Note Thursday night questions, which was the one rule that I was told over and over that we couldn't have. So thank you everyone for all of your great questions. We've got some really good discussion out of this as well and that's going to wrap it up for us. And I believe Welsh and Erickson will be back here next week for you guys. So you'll be back to your normal programming but hopefully you enjoyed myself and my friend Tara Roberts and we will be live on Sunday wrapping up the week as well. So come check us out there with Dr. Deepak to go over the injuries and that is it for us today and we will see you guys on Sunday. Summary:

FAQs

Immanuel Wilson is a strong option due to his volume and matchup, especially if Ramadre Stevenson is out. If Stevenson is playing, Wilson is still a top choice due to his consistent performance. Henderson is a viable backup if Stevenson is injured due to better matchups and higher volume.

Yes, trading Zay Flowers can be a smart move if you're seeking a reliable RB1. His current value is high, and he can yield a true RB1 like Chase Brown or Genti, especially with injuries affecting Lamar and other RBs. Consider the trade if you have a solid floor at receiver and need volume at the running back position.

Yes, Michael Mayer is undervalued despite not being the primary target. The Raiders are committed to utilizing him alongside Brock Bowers, and he's run more routes than many other tight ends. His role and target volume suggest he’s a strong value, especially in deeper leagues.
