The Craziest Debt In Financial Audit History

A married couple in San Antonio, Texas, faces deep-seated emotional and financial strain due to poor communication and a lack of emotional accountability. While the husband is deeply involved in real estate work, he struggles to balance his business demands with relationship needs, often deflecting emotional conversations and avoiding discussions about feelings. The wife, a stay-at-home mom and pregnant, feels emotionally neglected, leading to outbursts like throwing coffee or threatening to drive into a ditch. They have minimal financial talks, with the husband managing business income and the wife handling day-to-day expenses, but neither openly shares financial details or plans. The couple’s relationship is marked by repetitive arguments, emotional defensiveness, and a cycle of deflection—where the husband justifies his actions with "I’m too busy," and the wife feels dismissed or blamed. Despite recognizing the need for better communication, they fail to establish a safe space for honest dialogue. The conversation highlights how toxic patterns in relationships—such as emotional withdrawal, lack of accountability, and avoidance—can erode trust and connection over time. The core issue is not just financial mismanagement, but a breakdown in emotional trust and partnership, where both partners feel unseen and unsupported. The episode concludes with a call for transparent, empathetic financial and relational conversations, emphasizing that real change begins with acknowledging pain and making space for mutual understanding.

We live in San Antonio, Texas. - And this is financial audit. - Hey, thanks for coming up to Austin, Scarlet. What are you doing for living in San Antonio? - I am a stay at home mom. - Cool, what kids, how many kids? What ages? - I love kids. We've got a two and a half year old and a 13 month old. - Okay, okay, so are we married? - We are. - We are married. - Very good, how long have we been married? - 10 years. - Oh, okay, and I'm okay, you know, so I didn't make kids now, that's fine, that works. Are there, what? - Yeah, we decided to wait a little bit. Make sure things worked out first. - Well, that's okay, that's okay. I don't know what the joke was, but that's good. And are there any more coming? - Yes, I am currently pregnant. - Oh, okay, well, how much? 'Cause yeah, just barely, that's what I was thinking. - Yeah, just six weeks. - Oh, good for you, I wouldn't have honest, I didn't even know. Well, great, you better make some money, dude. Listen, San Antonio is definitely, as far as the metros go, large metros in Texas, the cheapest by far, but please bring in somebody. - What do you do? - I'm doing everything I can on that. - Are you the provident? - Hey, listen, I don't know. I mean, I literally stayed up till like 12, 32 days ago, painting a wall, okay, oh, he stayed up to midnight. Every game or ever, what? Come on. - Well, I do kind of think about it that way sometimes. I'm like, well, I, you know, sit on a video game for 14 hours, grinding for some bullshit, piece of gear. I might as well just be in real life, painting a wall or doing shower on a wall or something. - So you're a contractor? - Pretty much, yeah. I do anything that somebody will pay me money to do, generally real estate-related, yeah. - What is your job? - Well, I'm self-employed, but the primary way I'm making money right now is between real estate wholesaling and general contracting, basically. - How often are you busy? - How busy am I? - Yeah, how often are you getting work? - I mean, I'm pretty busy. I work in real estate. I kind of ended up running into a rental management company and they manage like 700 doors, and so I can be working as much. - Okay, so you help them. - Yeah, basically, you fix the ship that's wrong with their rentals that they are managing. - Right, yeah. - Very good. How many hours a week are you working? - When I'm not sleeping, I'm working. - Well, that's good, right? Isn't it? I mean, if there's only one worker and there's another kid coming. Okay, so give me what you're making. - Look, I don't, the short answer is I have. - Look, the short answer is I actually don't know. It's somewhere in between. - How long have you been doing this? - I've been busy for like six months, but I've been doing. - What are you laughing about? - I'm sorry, yes, he has been busy for six months. - No, what are you laughing about? - Well, a lot of it has been busy for free. - Sometimes. - Why? - Well, how are you just preparing and you're like mowing the grass, doing the hedges? - No, I mean, I'll do like drywall, tile, flooring, you know, siding, anything that is on a house, I can pretty much handle. Don't tell the city, but I can also do plumbing and electric and all that sort of stuff too. - Yeah, well, you're just dead, but. - Yeah, fair enough. But no, I mean. - What was the issue? Well, he's doing it for free, what? - Yes, well. - Okay, so part of my story is part of one of my buddy's story. So I, you know, I sell houses and so I was like, "Hey, as a realtor?" Well, you said wholesale. - Yeah, I wholesale, but. - What are you doing? - Well, I'm a licensed realtor, but I also pretty much primarily wholesale. I don't do like traditional buyer's agent, listing agent sort of transactions. I do wholesale transactions. - Yeah, yeah. - Put a house under contract and sell it. - What are your thoughts of his career? - I actually, I enjoy what he's doing. - You enjoy it? 'Cause you never have to see him? - No, oh, no, absolutely not. No, I think that he loves what he is getting into doing. - Yeah, I asked your opinion, not his. - Yeah, that's fair. No, I think it takes up a lot of his time, but I think he's doing what, yeah, what he needs to do right now. - Is it working? I mean, it sounds like it's been working for a few months. - Yes, it's starting to work. I think it's starting to work. - How long was it not working before it started to work? - Six months. - Well, so it's been working for six months? - Probably a year and a half before. - Oh, a year and a half. - No, actually, since he started, it hasn't been working. - Who manages the money? - Mostly her on the personal finance side. - Okay, so how much money is coming in then, actually? And are you setting aside money for taxes as he's a contractor? - Why? - Well. - I hope you don't get a refund for your kids. - Oh, we probably won't. - We've never gotten a refund in years. - We haven't gotten a refund ever. - Yeah, I don't know if that always happens, but. - I will. - With taxes for last year, so. - Look, I'm gonna pay the taxes, okay? - Okay, file an extension? - No. - Okay. - Why? - Look, because I was like, I'm gonna file an extension and then I didn't, because I was busy. I don't know, 'cause I-- - Because you're doing what, clearly not shaving your head when you need to. - Oh. - Damn, that's, that's probably fair. Yeah, I get-- - That is? - Look behind you. That is a man who has committed. And now he looks better. - See, so I've told her that, look, it's going away, it's gonna happen might as well just don't-- - I don't care, why are you not filing your taxes? - He handles the taxes. - 'Cause they thought you were the one who handed the personal finances. - I handle the personal finances. - That is personal finances. - No, he has handled the taxes. - That is the personal finances. - Yes, no. Well, yes. - Yes. - Yes, but I handled the day-to-day stuff. He handles the bigger stuff like the taxes. I do not do the taxes. - Look, the short answer of why we didn't file the taxes is because we didn't have the money to pay to whatever amount they would want. - Why didn't you set aside money for taxes? You should be doing estimated quarterly's, just typically based on last year's taxes. - I'm vaguely-- - And you're doing better this year than last year, so the quarterly shouldn't be hard to hit. - Yeah, I'm vaguely aware of the rules. I don't know exactly how to do that. - It's all pretty basic. I mean, this is on the website, on the IRS website, when you do file, there's only, or when you click pay taxes personal, there's like four categories. It's very easy. - I use turbo tax. - And it literally takes five minutes, no. - I hit the turbo tax, bro. That's even more complicated. - That's what I'm saying. - Maybe they're not doing a return, it might be better for a return, obviously, but clearly you need a CPA, more than that, doing an estimated payment is so easy. - Yeah, I mean, really, if I was to be like-- - Why would you not manage that if you manage the household finances? That makes no sense to me. Why, your household? - Well, I don't think of it as my household. - Well, you stay home all day, so maybe go on a computer. - Well, all right. - What? - I understand you do not have children, that's fine. - Okay, you know what, every dad has ever said, that goes from full-time work to stay at home, dad. - Oh, it's the easiest thing ever. - Yes. - Oh, I know. - That's what they all say. - Because they're so old. - That's what they literally all say. When they go from a workplace where they actually have to manage it and do real shit, then they come home and take care of kids. I'm not saying kids are the easiest part in the road, but they do find it to be a vacation compared to actual work. - Mm-hmm, yeah. - That sounds about similar to some conversations we've had, but that's not what we're saved. - Okay, I'm sorry. It's not literally every minute of every day. - What do you mean? My job? - Having to micromanage them. You have time. - Yeah, to clean the house. - I think filing taxes is actually more important to clean the house for at least like a few days. Once a year. - Again, whenever we got together, he has always done the taxes. - That's not working. - Yeah, that's fine. - You want to manage the personal finances? - No, I don't want to manage the personal finances. I want us to talk about the personal finances together. - Do we? - Not often. - Why? - What's that dynamic? What's going on? - Basically, ever since we got into this, we kind of have just been unfortunately hands off with the financial talks, because I'm too difficult to talk to. Yeah, basically. hit the shan and then we were like, what? - She hits the fan and we were just like, okay, we're gonna focus on the fire right here right now. And so basically, whenever there's money to spend or there's money that I'm bringing in, I'm like, honey, how are we doing on bills? I know what I've got to spend on my business related expenses. She knows what we have to spend on our personal related expenses. And I'm like, okay, well, then I need to book that many dollars worth of jobs. And however much I have to work to make that amount of money, that's what I'm gonna be doing. - Okay, well, you manage personal finances. And you guys, I guess, don't really talk about it very much. Tell me how much debt you have, then. - Like the general ballpark? - Dude, how much debt do you have? What? - If I was to say-- - First of all, I was asking her. - Good, good. - Personally, I don't know a number. - How can you say you manage the personal finances of the house? - Because in the day-to-day, I just pay the bills with the money that comes in. That is how I just manage it right now. - It doesn't make any sense. It shouldn't you know your number. How can you manage it without knowing the number and where things are going? - When it comes-- - Make that make sense to me. - So when it comes to the debts, we have, both of us have just decided we don't pay those right now. We are paying just what keeps the four walls open or up, basically pay the utilities. You guys make too much just to be four wall focused. - So you'd like to think that, but the-- - Well, I would like to think that based on the number you told that you make, unless there's a different number of which I can then change my opinion, but I'm going based on the information you gave me. - Okay, well, let me kind of paint the picture for you here. So we've got a couple of what were intended to be flips that are kind of not going the way that we planned. Our personal finances come in in the ballpark of like five a month, $5,000 of out-go. And then we've got another basically five for one of the three houses that we've got to spend to just keep the mortgage paid. And then I've got, you know, I've got a guy that I've got to pay to help me with the contracting business. And we've got, you know, MLS dues and, you know-- - What is this answer? - What's the question? - What are you telling me? - You're like, why can't I pay my bills? It's because the out-go is an immense, is a large amount of money. So here recently we've been making enough to scratch by, but there was a pretty good period there where we were not, we were like two months behind on the mortgage, two months behind on the electric 'cause we were just focused on getting these houses finished and getting these projects done. And that wasn't necessarily income generating activity. So I've kind of put the income generating activity on the forefront now. And now that I've put the pedal to the metal, we're actually making money. - It's not about you, you-- - I don't understand why you are the one answering the question of she's the one managing the finances. Why is she four-wall focused with this much money coming in? - That's what, okay, so he gives me the money for-- - And you said none aside for taxes, even though you manage the finances, sure he might file, but isn't managing the setting aside money for taxes? - I mean, we didn't ever discuss that exactly. So when it comes to that, I actually, I guess I just assumed that that would be part of the business side. - I'm just, okay, let me just cut you off. What is, I wanna understand more so the dynamic. - The dynamic is confusing. - Well, unconfused it to me. I need to understand how this household operates. How do you guys actually communicate more? - He tells me what goes on in the business. - Okay, so you're understanding what's going on in the business, right? - Yes. - Okay, I don't even know why you would need to know that specifically. I'm just talking about you, your household finances, but go on, continue. - Again, he just gives me the money. We put the money in. - And I'm asking how you communicate. Please answer the question. - Well, how do we communicate? - We have a-- - We speak don't. - Yeah, I mean, we kind of haven't been doing a whole lot of finance talks here recently, 'cause it's just been-- - Recently. - I mean, since when then? - Well, I'd say-- - Since they got into real estate-- - Yeah, since I got into real estate, things have just been so-- - Which was six months. - Well, I've been, I was doing, like, I was working for a-- - So things have gotten harder. Why does that mean we communicate less? - Good question. - Well, okay, let's try to have an answer. - Those are on a podcast. - Well, fair enough. I mean, the reason why is because basically, I'm like, she wants to know where are we going, what's the plan, how are we getting out of this? I'm saying, honey, I don't know right now. Right now, we're focused on getting these projects done, 'cause there are-- - Yeah, that's you in the business, dude. I don't give a fuck about that. I'm asking your personal finances. Why do you keep answering a question that wasn't asked? - He does. - How does things getting more complicated? I mean, you guys do not talk about the money in the house. - Oh, we have projects going on. Fuck your projects. I don't give a fuck. Why aren't you guys talking about the money in the house? That's a project. - It sure is. - It sure is. - So let's try to answer that question. - Well, I think the short answer to that question is I've basically been putting business-related stuff. - Cool, good for you. - But why isn't she then? - When I bring it up, it's nagging. - There we go. Something, an actual answer. - Oh, you guys are like, it's. - I could use a different word, but I'm not going to. - Well, what's the other word? Bitching. - Yes. - Okay, yeah, real controversial word. - No one uses that. - Well. - No, no, I get it. It's just like, why you can't say it. - It's a trigger word. She hates when I say that. Which to be fair. - I don't know if I get it. - You shouldn't say it. - I'm just surprised that she couldn't say it. - I'll trigger myself. - Okay, so what happens? He says you're bitching. - Well, what is that? What's going on? - If I bring something up, it's too difficult for him to talk about, because I'm too difficult to talk to about it. - Oh, I want to be bald. - So damn. - What's that? - So. - Why is he being such a pathetic little. You can't handle a dynamic and a marriage. Can't handle being a husband? - Shit's hard, bro. - No. - Are you married? - I, and with a long term lady goes for it. - You don't have babies, but I run a business that is much more stressful and complicated than yours. - Fair enough. - Yeah, so he also had a lot more help, but to be fair, it is because the business says, well, but trust me, managing people is much more stressful than doing it myself. - Cut and tile and running jackhammer. - Yeah, that's physical labor. Have you ever managed people? They're drama. - Oh, that's good, it's 10 times better. - Yeah, I've done a little bit of that. Yeah, it is. - I hate everyone. (laughing) - I love them, but I hate it. - Yeah. - But I love it, but I hate it. - That's life. - So? - We have my poor little wife, it's hard. - So you can't talk to your wife? Doesn't that make it harder? - You know, in some ways it does, in some ways it doesn't. - What it say it does, yeah. - Where is the doesn't? - I think it doesn't have to deal with it. - Well, is that true? Doesn't it just build? - It does. - Yeah, it does. - It kind of has seemed to be that way, but I mean, here's, look, here's my thoughts. I was like, honey, you tell me what I need to make and I'm gonna go do that, but I also know that I've gotta make X amount for my other business related stuff. And so I need to work as much as that requires, which, you know, I don't have a blue collar, you know, I don't have a degree or whatever. (dinging) - Yeah, so if I'm gonna make all this money and pay all these bills, I'm gonna have to work an exorbitant amount of time to do that. - No one's saying we don't. - You're answering a different question. - Well then, you can still talk to her. You see how this guy (dinging) just like, (dinging) - Tell me about it. - Well, I do get that. - Holy shit. - I do get that comment really regularly. All I'm saying is that whatever I'm bustin' my ass all day and I come home, I'm like, hey, can we not? Yeah, that's fair. - But you gotta deal with it at some point. - That's fair. - You have kids, it's not a joke anymore. We're not just having fun. It's not just about you. Yes, you have to take care of the business, but you chose to do that. You could also be doing a nine to five. So am I having sympathy for someone who chose to be entrepreneur? No, you made that choice. - Well, that's fair. It just feels like we-- - Yeah. - Look, we had the best laid plans in my cement and whatever. We had a good idea going into it and then it's turned into an absolute-- - You chose to do this. You could go get a job, dude. You can work for another contract to be the employee that's annoying. - One of these days that would be nice, but if I tried to just change-- - I don't think you should do that now. Listen, you're nagging. What does it like though? It was maybe it is bad. 'Cause dude's tired. He's coming home. - Fair enough. - I don't have a sympathy for his job, but if you're like, "Eh, bitch!" Then yeah, I mean, that's gonna be annoying. - Yeah, that is annoying. Um, no, so I don't do that. - Does she do that? - She kind of does that. - Oh. (laughing) - All right, okay. I don't do that. I do try to bring things up in a manner that will not trigger him, but no matter-- - Rigger him. - Yeah, okay, yeah. - Or just trigger him. - What is trigger? What is he-- - Beat the wife and kids? - No, just the wall. - Really? Are you wall-punching? - Not often. - Bloody, that's f--k the wall. - Look, I know it. - I did as a teenager, but who the f--k is a punching wall? Is it 31? - That's fair. - I agree. - Yes, that's fair. I'm glad you say everything is fair, but yet you are the one who does it. - How is it a punching wall? - At least once, every six months. - I'd say. - That's crazy. - Well, that's crazy. What led him to do? do it last time. What was the conversation? It's a good question. Oh, I'm glad it's a good question. I bet it was about. It wasn't about finances. I can tell you that. I'm working too much and our relationship is stressed because I'm working too much. You said you had no issue. Why are you fighting about working so much? Okay, then I am going to be on bro's side. If he's working a lot and then this wife is like, "Why are you working so much?" But he has to work that much to pay the bills. Because taking care of the kids is hard and I'm not helping her enough. So you do. Stop being a ******* cry baby. I have a. I have asked for help. I've asked to fill out. What was trying to pay the bills? I understand, but if I do bring up, hey, I would like some support as a team mate. I would like to feel like we're on the same team. That's usually how I bring up conversations. Plain is positioned by making sure the roof is over your head. I understand. Not to touch the wall that many times. Well, okay. I've said that I don't really feel like. Yeah, that we communicate that well about everything. Why? Why else does it feel like a partner? I've asked him to be able to just talk to me about what the plan is here and there. Just to feel safe that we're going in the right direction. In what way? I mean, I mainly bring up like relationally. What's going on? It's like pulling teeth with you. I swear. Dude. Oh man. I'll answer a question for you because you guys can answer questions. He punched a hole in the wall after you threw a coffee out the window. I'm going to be real with you. Link in the description below. So why'd you throw the coffee out the window? Because it's a relational issue that I can't define. No, I, a lot of the time, again, when I just try to bring up that I don't feel like I'm included in, yeah, I know I'm in relationship. In what way? I feel like I'm replaceable. Yeah, I am literally like, I do not know what the question is. Okay, so you can't answer questions because you go around them. You answer a different question. You can't answer questions because you just can't talk. I have tried to address problems. Well, I'm trying to address it now. Okay, yes. Give me something. I have tried to address problems in our relationship. Wonderful, give me something. Okay, I don't like when he brings up that he feels that I'm a terrible teammate. Oh my gosh, again, can we define what the fuck that is? I have the most generic thing being thrown out. Please, why is someone not a good teammate? What are they doing besides storming coffee? Bro, these are the my exact questions. Good, you got to let me shut the fuck up and answer it then. I'm like, what the fuck? But answer the question. I don't know. You want to know what it means to be a good teammate? No, she said you say she's not a good teammate. Oh, well, for me, I'm like, honey, I'm out here trying to play quarterback and you're trying to play receiver and you're saying, I don't feel included in your business. I don't feel included in your life, I say. Okay, so your issue is not being included in the business. Not necessarily the business in my life. Oh, my God. How? Are you? Yes, he's not a good teammate. Is what you said he's not a good teammate. How? So what? He just told me that I'm not a good teammate. What is your issue you have with him? Not just something? He has an issue with you. What is the issues that you, what made you throw out the coffee? Probably something about how I don't include her enough in my life or something and I'm like that. You don't include, okay, so is that true? He doesn't include you enough in his life. I don't feel very included in his life. Okay, yes. Because he's working all of them. Yes. Okay, so the solution is. So the solution was that he brought up to me when we went into this entire venture that we would be doing this together. Doing the business together? Yes, so how would you be participating? I've done QuickBooks before. You can't do the QuickBooks in your own house. I don't get the, okay, yeah, I don't really get the money for that. What? You just said he gives you the money. Yes. Now, now he does. Okay. Now he gives me the money. Okay, so you've been included then. Now. This is my example. But not to what the extent you want. You want more. So the initial. I feel like we're missing a critical piece of the puzzle. Wow, let's give me that piece. Yeah, you're kind of reading this as like all I do is contracting. We have three flips, and two of them have absolutely gone terribly. Yeah, but you chose to do that. Right, so the goal was initially, okay, honey, here's going to be the great story. We're going to buy these houses. We're going to make this money. You're going to help me work on the houses. You have a say in whatever. I'm dead. Yes, so I'm like, okay, we're going to go into this. You're biggest complaint to the producers is how you don't feel hurt. How can you not feel hurt? If honestly, one of the biggest business decisions, you were very much hurt, bro. Thank you. Welcome for now. Yes. Okay. In the business, great. In the relationship. Wait, didn't she just say she, her biggest complaint is not being included in the business? No. No. No. Yes, it's a lot. Okay, I don't feel very included in his life. Okay, yes. Yes. So the solution is. Okay. Well, okay, then. Yes, stay on story. Your story changes. So, okay, go on, go on. Sure, where's the issue? Okay. I would like for us to be able to do both together. The relationship and the business together as a family. That's a horrible idea. Is it? Yes. Oh, okay. I mean, nothing's not worth that. The business, it's a horrendous idea. Okay. Keep your relationship separate from the business. Why would you want to integrate that? I've had that exact question before. I'm like, honey, what do you want to know about it? I'm happy to tell you whatever you want to know about the business. But it's not like you're involved in the doing. Like it. Whatever she wants to be. We have a clear disagreeing there. And I want you to be however you can. But it's not like you and these people. But you don't have. Look, now, I want you to be involved as much as you can. But look, you hardly have time to take care of the kids or take care of the house much less. Be involved in. Ow. I don't, yeah. That's between her and God. But, you know, I want you to be involved as much as you can be. But it seems like you're having a hard enough time with just the day-to-day life operations that I don't feel like there's any room for you to be stretched any further to help me on my side. That's why I've got to do it all myself. It's just, the crazy thing is, this gets pushed to such an extreme where she's throwing a coffee, you punch a wall. And she says the next time she's going to drive into the ditch, like that was her words. But what caused that? I feel like I'm barely scratching the surface of something you are not allowing either. Not allowing to be said or just can't. I gotta know, guys. What the fuck is happening? I mean, she has the face of a literal murderer right now. What is it? What is it? What are you not saying? Why would you drive into the ditch next time? Well, we'll sit there and we're going to be on a road trip and arguing about something or other. What about something or other? What's the something or other? It's just her interaction and the business. Is that really the only issue? What? She feels disconnected. And that makes her feel insecure. Why are you disconnected? And why are you insecure? Why do you feel disconnected? This is my exact question. I'm like, honey, I'm trying to do everything I can to help you. So you're doing no offense? Uh, I don't know how to just, you know, drive. the man side but like you're kind of doing the classic annoying woman thing or you like have a problem yeah touch her like that's really going to help or you have a problem and then you can't express it well so it's impossible to solve because it's just feelings right so when it comes to a woman's intuition we do very he would just talk like real world and not just like a feeling though but go ahead go ahead women's intuition let me hear they can pick up when they've been lied to and and yeah he is lied to me a lot he lies by omission he lies by um he forgot this he forgot that a lot of details get left out so a lot of trust has been broken in our relationship especially over the past 10 years can I get some examples tell me I mean I guess I want to be on your side I'm a girls girl but you're so far horrible defining anything and answering questions but here's a good chance to give me these examples okay so once he got into real estate he he kind of I guess got it into his head that he doesn't really have to consider his wife at home he gets to go and like go to the bar and drink and not tell me and and okay that's not business asshole okay with a stay at home mom at home there was one day I was pregnant I had a very hard day with my one year old he choked on a blueberry and I also had to get an oil change right I think he deserves to die at that point if you're if you're if you're almost losing life on a blueberry I think that's a natural selection yeah I mean I'm glad he I'm glad he didn't to be clear but if someone's losing it on like the softest bear you can get I think that's like nature saying okay you're not meant to be here he was one yeah I mean he handled that blueberry like a champ that's all I'm saying it's clearly not if he's not he's he's I want to be very clear I'm glad he's alive I'm just saying a blueberry out of all things all right okay yeah what do I have kids you just you'll hold make sure you squish it don't I'll be like you deserve that so you're on the other side baby so go on water bro these things are just trying to die I'm okay I feel yeah go on so I mean I actually I will pause yeah what the thing like I was on your site if you're working to pay for the roof over the head shirt but if you do if you're just gonna bar when she's struggling she's pregnant she's trying to take care of the kids like what the fuck is wrong with you yeah another time yeah and he came home drunk and um he he wanted me to be he just wanted me to be like the gracious wife that just accepts him home uh I'm sorry you drank so much or something let him sleep it off and then we would talk about it in the morning um I'm not that type of person I get really hungry really fast yeah I mean it's probably not the most productive time to have a conversation is when the news yeah yeah well that was that was a bad idea too how many holes were punched into the wall that evening none I would see missed okay yeah we that was diffused thankfully and then there was another time that I was sick also pregnant with my one year old at home he was like um you're gonna have to figure it out oh why what was being done that day what was what was he doing that day where he was like you have to figure it out was it a job that he had to do or was he going to the bar with the boys oh he didn't go to the bar with the boys okay okay he did go to work well okay well I mean that makes sense but again it's not I don't it oh well we could talk about the night you have to go deeper than that it's not oh deeper that's the point of a conversation I've been waiting okay great go listen it's the pattern underneath to where he's like no I took you into full consideration I knew you'd be mad and I did it anyway that is his logic logic when it comes to our relationship but I mean you still took in that moment yeah definitely ask whole move but also one time ever you know I never do anything all I do is work I literally do nothing to work I mean you kind of hurt with words I mean you told they're just like a week ago or something that you feel trapped by having another kid what the cuz that that's crazy to tell your pregnant wife well doing well kids are home like yeah I think that would stick in the back of my mind probably for half as long as a woman but even still it would it would stick there for a second at least yeah I mean it's been a little crazy how did I make you feel um pretty terrified pretty terrified that yeah okay that the baby would just be born and I don't know and why do why oh what the fuck was happening why was that sad why was that brought up why was that brought up I probably just told him um I usually just bring up my feelings I will just bring up my feelings but that's bitching so yeah it is really you know and when they bring up their feelings all right well you know I just I have to be honest it is like why are we bring it up feelings when it's like I wish like cuz I want to solve issues but if it's just something that's purely emotional based and there's not anything like real world logical about it it is actually quite difficult I'll be honest but when it comes to a relationship that's how you it is something you have to deal with I I know all right I literally have no idea what that means in real life I have a very like problem solve it tell me what I need to do I'll go do that how can I have a problem would be you feel trapped by her having another baby like that is like what the fuck that's crazy that's the problem yeah well again you got to take the context into consideration because our relationship has been a little touching go for the past probably six months two years why in what way well I mean what does that mean well we're pregnant we have two kids what does that mean yeah well the the pregnancy was kind of I mean it's not like we were doing everything we could to avoid that obviously I mean I know how it happens but you know it wasn't really part of the plan and you know we were kind of you know it seems like every other day you know she's like well get the fuck out or I'm you know or you know or I'm like well then leave you know and what the fuck why blow up guys yeah and look I'm not proud of it but it's just one of those things right now things are extremely hard now I get it I'm I'm bust in my ass working all day long and this is clearly not the lifestyle that is okay no this is neither is she not going to vibe with it then what are we doing go get a job did okay look how am I supposed to quit everything I'm doing right now I would be happy you'll buy for a job get accepted and quit okay so I have family loan on a house I have a family loan on the house yeah so I've got all you preferably get the other job to get money so okay I'm gonna spend money on your current job which is kind of your issue and I highly doubt you bounce those books very well yeah well it's if at all yeah probably exactly yeah so that's kind of why I'm 10 to 15 home a month doubt but the reality is I mean he doesn't give that emotional support does he no but I mean she was looking over your shoulder the other day she started giving emotional support to another woman and that's with her yeah that's with her he knows that he was a business deal but you were telling her I hope you feel better I hope you feel better and she saw those messages she's been stabbed in the chest according to her word in the moment she confronted you you just told her she was being a controlling so like what the yeah that's uh look that is pretty fucked up but uh to be fair again I'm well be fair let's see look it's it's way easier for me to have like emotional distance and like be polite to strangers than it is to come for your pregnant wife okay that's yeah I was kind of with you for a second but that's weird no I look I know it's weird look yeah I don't know you might just be a bad partner well I definitely haven't been the best partner and I'm working on being better but you're not is he what's his working this just happened you literally told her like a week ago that you feel trapped by her being pregnant what the that's where can I'm being a better partner bunching a home the wall two months ago is better than being a part what the fuck are you talking about it's a roller coaster sometimes yeah so he's better for like two weeks got you okay great what went through your head when you saw that um he's lucky I didn't break that phone too um but oh so you guys are like violent kind of oh yeah that's insane little bit I don't love it I know I would think so what has happened there uh that was a long time ago okay yeah you broke a phone but he punched his walls and she punches walls and you punch walls too this is going to be this is great for your kids growing up it was before kids I have not punched I have not punched walls since kids you'd be the fucker out of them ski ski tree that one time though yeah last time a tree that's crazy yeah it was it was a formal rage that was hormonal rage absolutely just kind of the overarching theme of this story I think but maybe that's just my perspective well when she was pregnant for the second time and she was telling us you like treating like like complete shit your her second pregnancy and I now I know she's worried now for this third pregnancy that you're gonna treat her like shit again how was he treating you like Chad because that's what you said but I need to know how now or back then no the second pregnancy the second pregnancy yeah it was it was a lot of lack of emotional support what does that mean so that means do you no no I'm giving you the chance to tell it to find not coming at me whenever I have a bad day too like I like I'm supporting her why are you supporting random women on the phone not her well look all this day was harder to be there was harder he says that he says I can't support you because my day was harder he has told me there's no way you're as tired as I am. Even though I breastfeed two children, I take care of a house, which I get it, I know. But I'm on my feet all day. I do exercise. No, I mean, yes, no, you're jobs, you're jobs not easy, lazy. I'm just, you know, comparing it, but even still, it doesn't matter. I mean, compared to my girl, of course, I do like a million times harder, but I emotionally support her when needed. I don't tell her, sorry, my day was harder, bitch. Look, how can we, especially when she was pregnant? How can we do that? Okay, because I'll spend an hour being as sweet as I possibly can, gender being as nice as I possibly can. And then it's like deflection, deflection, say what? Because as soon as I say something, it is immediately and just then about you. I think it's immediately about solving the problem. Help me understand. And then she's like, I just want to be heard. What does that mean? Listen, just listen. I do listen. And I'm like, okay, so why are you telling me this? You want me to do something about it? Because I'm happy to do whatever that is. And then after about an hour of going through this marathon, of trying to be sweet and whatever, it's like, okay, everything because that does become hard. That's exhausting. Sometimes it becomes more the hour things because, yes, because immediately as soon as I say something, it just gets shut down. Shut down. What can I do to fix that? And I will do that right now. And then it's like, I don't want you to fix that. Yes, he'll say, what can I do to fix? And I'm like, actually, you won't ask what can I do to fix it. It will just be try to fix it immediately. Well, it is difficult to be like, here's a big problem. And just like, let's let it just be a problem. If you can't fix it, then we're just letting that be a problem. No. If it's just me saying, oh, I'm tired today. Like I can't bring that up anymore. Oh, okay. I can't bring that up anymore because it's just, it's really? Yeah. Oh, that's crazy. She can't bring up that she's tired. She's being mother all day. That is tiring. Look, I'm not even sure that's true. I'm sure that's how it feels and blah, blah, blah. But you're, I'm happy to, to provide all the emotional support I can. But if it's, if it's just like pouring water into a bucket with no bottom, it's just like, what, what am I doing here? I got to do something productive now, you know. Well, it's not predictive. Productive, always calling her a miserable person. You call her miserable constantly. There are holes in the bucket because you shot the bucket. Yeah, if you're just sitting there like, it's a trap that you're frightened. You're a miserable person. Croak the bucket. Yeah, dude. You're just blasting holes in it. I mean, I think you kind of caused that. Maybe so. That's entirely fine. I mean, how in what way does it make sense to just sit there and be like, you're a miserable person? Um, what does that solve? If you're problem solver, what problem does that solve? I mean, we're kind of eliminating the eight years of doing everything I can to make her happy and said he tried for eight years, perfectly doing great to make him have perfectly, perfectly. But he did where he was just trying, trying, trying. There was no issues. You know, this has been the accumulation of 10 years of the same thing. And we are just now. Yeah, you're a miserable person or like, you're crazy. You're overreacting crazy. He says, he just calls you crazy. If I bring up feelings, yeah, he'll be like, you're overreacting about that. Whenever I ask for like the emotional support, the most recent thing, the most recent thing, don't believe there was a most recent thing about him saying that I was crazy. He has been trying. He has been working pretty hard to listen in the past two weeks. No, two weeks. Well, that does nothing. I see how they're like three months. And you have to like three months. Anyone can change anything for a temporary. That means nothing to me. So before that then, yeah, you told me I was overreacting whenever, um, I don't know, I don't like it whenever you give your number to, to random. Oh, women. Okay. No, because it's for a report. It's for building rapport. Okay. That is a building report with random women. Oh, for real estate. All right. Let's, let's circle back around. Okay. Whenever I'm going to a real estate meetup and there's people who have, you know, listings that need to have houses worked on, they need to have work done on these listings to get a market ready. That you hand out this out about this every time. Well, what I don't know about it. Now, here's the thing is you go and say, well, I mean, I think it's fair to hand up business cards and stuff. No, yeah. No, yeah. I don't want to issue if a female has business. Yeah. That I need to do. Yeah. I shouldn't worry. Why are you texting them before I am? Okay. So there's, that's weird. I look, I get what you're saying here. But look, what else is there to say? Well, I am weird. I agree. Okay. So look, why do you do it? I'm glad you agree. Thank you. I feel good. Why do you do it? Because I sell investment real estate at 4 a.m. If the, if, okay, the person that only did the women, does he text the men for him? I don't know. I don't care. I don't. It depends on the person's time zone on where they're at. Sounds like you care. If we don't care, we can move on. She definitely cares. So what are we talking about? Okay. So this person lives in Israel. He could only have gotten that idea from Benjamin Netanyahu. Before we get back to this mess, quick word from today's sponsor. Look, it's August. If I wait until my normal business hours, it's the evening for them. No, cater to the client's side. Okay. That was when he was giving emotional support too. Oh, that's weird. See buddy, it wouldn't be you lose me, it wouldn't be you lose me. I wouldn't mean I lose me too. I'm like, look, I'm just trying to. You're trying to get a little IDF princess? Damn. No, I'm trying to sell houses and so you have to talk to people. To an Israeli? Oh, I've sold several to Israeli people. There's a lot of Israeli investors in San Antonio, Fort Worth and Austin. They're buying the shit out of houses over here. Yeah. I also text the other Israeli people at 4 in the morning or at 9 o'clock at midnight saying that you hope that they feel better. Okay. Well, come on. I've texted that to many of people. Right. And were she sick? Yeah. She was sick and there was that's not that great. Okay, you're being a crazy bitch. Okay. I'm sorry. I was sick and pregnant at the same time and he told me to get over it. He told me to get over it. Okay. Well, that's a dick move. That doesn't mean he can't also say that to someone else. That one totally can. But he shouldn't tell you to get over it. I'm just telling you why to just get over it. I feel like that's a gross over simplification. I'm like, honey, I've got to go to work. So I can't help you. You're going to have to do it. You're going to have to figure it out. You're going to have to get over it. I can't stop. I can't not go to work just because you're feeling better. Yeah, but there are words. This is right words. It's like saying you're sorry. Do you feel bad? And like, yeah, don't say I get over it. Or let's start from the hour proceeding where I'm like, I'm sorry, honey, hope you feel better. What can I do to help? How can I support you? Is that every conversation? Multi-hour conversation. Bro. bro it is literally okay now how frequently okay so since I stopped doing them I just said I'm not gonna do that before that how frequently three or four times a week will stay together for that many years I couldn't do that yeah it's very difficult but we you know we promised forever and we've got two kids and so there's not really an option yeah before the kids that like that since saying I'm sorry three to four times a week you do at some point the conversation is you do need to learn how to deal with your emotions in a healthy way oh no I can do that are you sure if we're having multi-hour conversations four to five times a week that is that does become a on you type of situation at some point you need to take some kind of accountability and learn how to deal with your shit and that's not always someone else's problem right so whenever I do bring up relationship issues like things that he has told me in the past to my face yes they are wounds no he never says sorry he says I'm sorry you feel that way he doesn't say I'm sorry for the words you've said or that he said words why haven't you apologized to me I think I've apologize for all of them at least a thousand times oh we're so disconnected bro yes yeah I know he spend hundreds of hours having these marathon argument conversations about our relationship there's no way I haven't touched on every single pain point over the course of 10 years at least 10 times how do these conversations resolve your apologies are how do I'm sorry you feel that way how do the is that true yes probably that's all that's not gonna work yeah how do these conversations resolve they don't holes in the wall here's how the conversation typically I'm like honey I have to go to work it's nine o'clock in the morning and then she wants to talk until it's about 1 o'clock and I'm like honey I'm saying I'm I am leaving now and so I just leave the house there's not there's I'm like where is the end of this conversation it's like a roller coaster of we're we're getting close to a solution and then it's emotional tunnel again so she cries a lot she does and so I'm like I stopped crying in front of you it's difficult and so then I'm like crying in front of it nothing's going to help I'm just gonna go to work now because at least there I can pay the bills because whenever I spend all this time talking I'm not doing enjoy time around each other I think so yeah wait look four times a week and it's multi-hour conversations bro toxic relationships are kind of fire I gotta be honest oh my god but where's the good time if you're working all the time four times a week we're having multi-hour conversations where's the time for the where's the good part where does it exist um again mathematically mathematically that's a good question but I will say that the quality uh oh you know I always the quantity whether you like where where's the quality um I'll be prepared well call me and tell me about our feelings and then we'll talk about it for a minute and I'm getting better it making her feel better now and so then we have a good 30-minute conversation okay why are you calling him during work let's man for it dude what was wrong with you come on because he won't be home for me to talk to him I guess uh yeah we do cut us off that issue you got to just get a job did the clear this is not working isn't that working I mean you've strictly and I don't think you're ever going to be involved in the business he he said to our producer if you're if you're an employee he would fire you yes he has said that before as but as a wife so you can never talk about divorce oh yeah a couple of times I've seen a lawyer really when a couple weeks ago I have not filed I do not want to file not going to file seeing a lawyer's a big stuff yeah it shows it paints you a picture of what the reality is how does I make did you know no no I lied to him this is your first time hearing about this no I heard about it the other day in an argument but uh and your thoughts I'm like do whatever you want oh my oh my you guys are not compatible how the did you guys produce a trial three what is she goes and sees the lawyer for divorce you say do whatever you want what the here's here's my here's my perspective I'm working my ass off to try and help her feel better and help and I'm like honey how can I make you feel more connected how can I love you more how can I love you better I do the 10 20 things that you know before after figuring out your pregnant the lawyer uh that was before she's what made you go see this lawyer I kind of had to face the reality of yeah what are we looking at with our marriage what was the breaking point though what was what triggered I don't know I had had enough with the things that he'd said to me uh yeah a lot of the things that he said has kind of just like even if I am whatever a miserable person to be around I feel like if he feels that way he should leave I don't feel like like why would you just destroy the person that you say that you love and then um and then expect them to stick around so what happened I just I what the conversation what did you guys talk about there was no conversation about you met a lawyer oh I'm sorry you're asking about the lawyer conversation yeah she told me she painted a picture she's like well if you're gonna be a single mom you gotta you know obviously get a job and do this and do that and uh so what prevented you from going forward was literally just the fear of what it looked like on the other side no no I don't want that for my life yeah that yeah just the consequences of it but not the actual stain with him part isn't what prevented you I guess no that's the no I will know basically everything you just said the words you just said the single mom the struggle that's what you don't want no that's what she told me she didn't say oh well here's a happy picture of the I'm telling you what she told me exactly and you're afraid of that more than you want to actually say no I'm telling you that that that's what she told me for me yes I would I had to weigh my options I had to weigh my options and you would prefer staying him over the consequences of all that yes I would prefer staying with him over the consequences that doesn't mean you actually want to stay with no I do want to stay with him but you met a divorce lawyer two weeks ago it's over here this is the good side okay I'm sorry well you don't want to stay with people we made a divorce lawyer for two weeks ago yeah that I know you just found out you're pregnant that wouldn't no that wouldn't oh come on that wouldn't keep me I am staying because of him that's crazy two weeks ago sure uh-huh guys what do we think are combined household financial score is zero to 10 zero being the worst 10 being the best maybe if one yeah I was about saying negative a thousand okay well negative isn't a thing but if you want to figure out your financial score go to know if you guys can't communicate about really the most simple things I don't know how the community communicator about this and this is one of leading causes for divorce in this country you've already met a divorce lawyer it's like doom and gloom is what I am seeing now but let's try to get the the full picture together with the numbers out of things barclays card what's going on closed account that's all I know uh lose is it it was kind of mine we both it's a share to count but I think we have like four um well initially who knows I don't know why we got it we we just kept it for a while what did you spend it on because you're at sixteen thousand eight hundred eight dollars and six sets what's gone down oh yeah I was about to say that I went down uh well it that's down yeah yeah yeah I mean I think we had a plan you don't even know okay it's just on the payment plan yeah guys yeah but basically all that got wrecked up on uh like stan and hotel you open this card for your honeymoon to believe well we opened it whenever we went on our honeymoon to believe and then but we were just like yeah they'll give us the credit line our credit score was fine whatever and then all this real estate shit started blown up in our face and so okay so how's the blown up tell me um so we bought our first flip in San Angelo and uh that one I mean that I could go into detail as much as you want but like after the contractor screws us and after the why aren't you doing the flip yourself so I didn't get my contracting license until after this contractor screwed me on two houses and then I was like I can't rely on people to do shit for me anymore I'm not buying a house for someone else to flip it okay I mean it's a pretty normal scenario where an investor buys the house and then you hire a contractor to do the work yeah but you don't have like a big flipping agency if you're just starting off do the flip yourself well let's uh okay - Okay, so the contract of two, I guess. - Yeah, and so we had the link, let's see. - Yeah, that one we ended up having to spend $8,000 to sell it. - You didn't sell it though. - Yeah, we brought, we had to bring-- - Did you break even? Did you lose? How much did you lose? I mean, it's a nice little single family. - All of those cards plus $8,000 is about what we lost on that house. - So tens of thousands? - Tens of thousands. - How? - I mean, yeah, you said yes, let's go do a second one. - Well, you started the second one before that one was a-- - Before you even proved the concept. (laughing) - Yeah, you co-plough your way through that. - Yeah, it's right. - Brother, okay. Well, someone's enjoying it at a discount and yeah, not a bad house, not a bad job, it looks like. Okay, so what, what happened with the second one then? - Second one was closing, I guess the second one would be the Fort Worth house. That one kind of part of the wholesaling thing, you run into deals, you know, and typically you're trying to resell them. Well, I brought it to my sister and my sister was like, that we're gonna flip that one too. - This is the fourth house? - That's the Fort Worth house. - Yeah. - Something not even close to you. - Yeah, but she's local to the Fort Worth market. She's been doing the same kind of real estate wholesaling stuff for a long time and she was pretty successful at it. So she says, hey, I've got a contractor, I've got a lender, we can get this done. We'll make all this money. - It's a really nice house though. - Yeah, I mean, we bought it for you. - Pre-remodel is actually kind of nice, but. - Well, it had a bunch of rod, it had a bad roof, we had to redo it pretty soon. - Yeah, that's okay, but how much did you put into it? - We ended up putting in about 200, I think, after all was said and done. - Yeah, it's not a cheap house. That's a made of value, 818,000. - We had an appraisal for 900. The initial plan was, we would sell it. - So, break even lose gain, what? - We're probably getting foreclosed on that one. - That was not done. - It sells not done? - It's done, it's on market foreclosed then. - So, okay. - No, but the sale's not done. - The sale's not done, it hasn't sold. - So, it's on market, we've got a hard one. - Or what? - On market for what? - It's on market for, I think we are at 835. - Okay, well, that's already over valued estimated online. - Well, what did you buy it for? - We bought it for 515. - What did you put into it? - 200. - Okay, I'm just trying to get it out of it, break even, instead of foreclose. - Right, so, this house, it's on essentially a private money loan with deferred payments. So, the monthly payments are crude to the pay off. - So, you're getting, you're getting like, you're like repeating, it's not as crazy as Ramsey, but you're kind of Ramsey in yourself. - Mm-hmm. - Yeah, I mean, I feel like you're putting down. - Yeah, I feel like, uh. - So, why do you think it's going to be foreclosed on? Are people seeing it? - So, that one, very soon, people are coming to view the house saying the work on the house is shitty. - Yeah. - So, it looks nice on a picture with a work of shitty in person. - Yeah, whenever you go and look at the details. - You didn't do this yourself. - No, I didn't do this myself. - I did the floors, I refinished the floors, and I painted the walls. - What's the issues? - People are complaining about it. - Tall work is bad, the drywall work is bad, the windows had the kitchen layout is too small, and it doesn't work. - Really? - Yeah, people didn't like the location of the island, so on and so forth. - Oh, no shit. - Wow, that's unfortunate. - Yeah, so, basically, no one's buying it. No offers. - No offers. - No, under? - No, every showing we've had has been like the most dismal feedback. - Okay, so, what closures come in? - Yeah, for sure. - What's your monthly payment on this thing? - It's deferred payments, but it comes out to in the neighborhood of $9,000 a month. - $20,000, $5,000. - Yeah. - Okay, you guys. - Okay, then you said there's a third house somewhere in this equation, right? Didn't I hear three? - Yeah, so we bought the first house in March. We bought the second house in July, and we bought the third house in August. Why don't you guys go from one to the other? Just, okay, so, okay, go on. - He won it. - Wow, so this all happened-- - He won it three. - This all just happened. - Oh, yeah. - Okay, so, go on, tell me about this third. - So the third one? - Oh my goodness, it's a (beep) - That. - Yeah, it was definitely a shithole. It looks pretty good right now. - Okay. - It's not on market yet. - So what did you buy it for? - We bought that one for $200. - Oh, it's about it, like $2.28. If, how much have you put it into it? - We're gonna end up putting $176 into it. - Oh my goodness, that's almost a double. - Yeah. - Which is kinda crazy. - Yeah, it's worth like $5.50. - Do you even know what worth is? You can't sell the house for what you think it's worth the day, your second house. - Well, this is a good learning experience. All I'm saying is we have an- - How can you tell me it's worth that? - Because we have to get an appraisal before we buy the thing and the appraiser says, yeah, once it looks good and it doesn't look like a shithole, then it'll be worth $500, $5.50. - We will see, okay. Good death. So, how much debt do you currently have that is just in those three, or those two houses that have not been sold? - Oh, it's-- - On these deferred interest, crazy thing. Probably the payoff on, it's gonna be like $870. Pay off on it. It's gonna be, so we've got first view allowed this. - Oh, I'm saying that. Yeah. - This is insane. Bro was not born for this life. Bro was born to work for someone else that actually knew what they were doing. - Bam. - What the, your life is about to be destroyed. Do you guys own your own house? - We do. - We do. - Good luck keeping it. - Hey, you can't take it and bank trust you, Cory. - I just have to. - Body, I'm just talking about you with the pain for it. - I just, I just tried again to trust in his abilities. - No. - This has been a trust-- - Trust has been broken. - Yes, that's true. - No trust. Trust in his abilities, he has no abilities. He has literally proved that. I'd be able to put some sand in and seal it on a floor, but he's not a businessman. - Well, I definitely haven't proven myself so far, but I feel like I have learned a lot, so. - Listen, I mean, at some point, this is again, only after change of behavior, 'cause I don't advise the credit card transfers to the debt consolidation or personal loans until behaviors change. It's a great tool, same with bankruptcy, or else you end up in the same situation. Once you guys have changed behavior on killbhamer.com, there's great debt relief programs. There's great personal loans to you guys to look at, but only if you've changed your behavior. So check that out. And when you're ready to get an adult job, I'll get you a court-screwed certification as well. People in the audience have converted those into six-figured jobs. There's literally construction project management certifications on there. Lots of trade shit that people make so much money with. Like, come on. Stop being pathetic. This is crazy. You're paying a shit ton of interest. You're minting to payment as $3.74. - Look, in the grand scheme of things, you have to pay for that. - Yeah, that's like. - This is insane. - That's by what's going on. - Yeah, that. - Oh, fees. - That's good. Oh, interest, that's good. Oh, high balance, that's great. Oh, wonderful. - I think it's all bullshit. I think it's. - Oh, past two. - Why? - Yeah, we have not paid that. - Why? - Like I say, there was a couple of months there where we were a little touch and go on paying the mortgage, and I was like, "Oh, we're gonna have to hold on." - Like I said, good luck keeping your house. - Yeah. - You've been paying the mortgage? - Yeah. - No! - For now. - I got this. - No, you don't. You've literally proven anything but. - I don't know. I think you brought in a lot last month soon. - Look, I feel like. - Yes. But guess what? That probably needs to go to paying last year's taxes. 'Cause you guys can't manage shit. - That. - Bro can't even take finesse right once a day, like I don't trust and would do anything. - Don't ask what that is. - I think it's bad for your dick, so. - Ah, it depends, it's less than 1%. If it is bad for your dick, then don't take it, but for majority people, it's fine. - Fair enough. - If it's even a risk. - So you get the broccoli or. - Yeah, but you learn and you stop taking it and you're fine. - Hmm. - Whatever's going on right now is not working. $485 a month, I think, no, that's, no, 'cause you're three months away, what is it, okay? So, 16, 10, it's like, 207 a month? - I just haven't looked at that one at all. - Fees, interest, late fees, $200 is yours so far. $1,000 in interest is crazy. - Holy shit. - Yeah, you're, you're, you've broken your lives. All for the sake of him not being able to run a business. This is crazy. Like you guys are just insane, but you even get it best by. But even was it. - I think it was a 72-inch TV, a new phone, and some Bluetooth. - Well, they came into the phone. - At your laptop, you always forget about your laptop. - Oh, yeah, fair enough. - Oh my goodness, bro. You don't mind into your mom for the first and second property flip? - Yeah, no. - For other. - It's Antonio House. - Okay, this is disgusting. What is wrong with you? This poor mother, why is she doing this? Why is she doing this? You've just, why? - It's my mom. - Oh, it's even worse. - Really, you guys are going to laugh about that? What the fuck is wrong with you? - I love my mom. - Do you? - Yeah, I do. - I don't think anyone who loves her mom would do this. - This is insane. - So this is a joke. - You should be ashamed of yourself. - Look, I'm, I'm with you. - How often do you see her? - Well, often enough, every holiday. - Often enough. It definitely makes Thanksgiving turkey taste little funny. - If you or your child spent years growing up on social media and experience serious mental health struggles you should hear. this. Here you guys saying Dave Ramsey sh*t, you are doing the opposite of everything he advises in every way whatsoever. No, I know. So I've been joking about this for a while that I feel like I've got Robert Kiyosaki and Dave Ramsey just having a boxing match. Yeah, I'm talking. Rifted, ported, like one of the worst books I've ever read in my life. What are you talking about? Well every successful real estate investor that I've talked to, they all say that was their kind of formative book. Okay, you're not a successful real estate investor. Obviously that ported is like a few hundred pages of the poor dad said, I'm going to go sped everything out of credit card and the rich dad said, no, I'm going to invest instead. Crazy. What I took out of my mind. Yeah, what I took out of there was don't ask if you can afford it, ask how can you afford it? Sorry, I'm going to real story. I, yeah. Okay, so how does conversation go? Hi, mom, my failure of a bald husband needs 30,000 dollars. How did that conversation go? No. And how does it go now with you, Olyner? No, she, she likes the property. She saw the vision. She, uh, she offered. Oh, she's too. Oh. San Antonio tortas. No, she's in Midland. Midland tortas. Okay. She's not sad and got it. Oh, damn. You have to be to give 30,000 for this. Crazy. She started and what is she thinking now? Probably the same thing I am, which is we're going to trust in the process. Oh my goodness, you guys are broken. You should give up on this and practically give up on life, but don't do that in real life. When you say, okay, you got to quit, you got to quit what you're doing and go get a job. Yes. That right there is the number one reason why I can't do that. You need to go get another job because you're pathetic with your money and you need to bring in money right now so you can start paying her back. You fail. You're of a man. I need to finish the house in San Antonio. And once we sell it, then hopefully I can pay that back. Yeah, good luck. Dead or work two times. Good luck with the third. Yeah, that seems to be the third. No, it's not. Are you paying her back now? Minimums? Anything? No, we're not making anything. Oh, you suck. You're a horrible son-in-law. You're the worst son-in-law. You're a horrible father. You're a bad partner. You're a bad man. You're a failure. You're a joke. PCI, what is this? I think that's for the water softener that we got a couple of years ago. Pathetic joke. Okay. Yes. That. And you listen to David Ramsey? I do like our water softener. Mix her hair and I give up. Could you like? Well, I like you keeping a roof over your head for you and your kids. Well, I would like for that roof to have a water softener. Okay, which one's more important? Well, hmm. Hey, you're past due on the water softener because you're literally $109 from 22 cents a month. You're behind five months. Pathetic children. It has been about that wrong. Homelessness is your future for you and three kids. Yeah, keep laughing about it. Literally on your watch, actually, because of your watch. I would say your watch caused that. Well, I can't argue with you there, but you can't. You're on financial audit with this paperwork in this debt. Yeah, I mean, again, we had a we had a grand vision and, you know, I bought my own bullshit whenever I'm selling all these investment houses. I'm like, oh, we're going to make this money. You're still following your vision, dude. I don't your late fees at this point. I don't know how to change trajectory without burning a bunch of people in the in the process. So I have to just take it to the finish line and then I get to have the luxury. I think for closed bankruptcy, fresh start, and then payback family as we can slate edge. What's going on? That was, I think for both of our slate edges were the balance transfers for the Barclays card. Sorry, max that out twice. Yeah, we max that one out twice. Oh, you guys suck. Okay. Yeah, it's maxed out $2,448 in 21 cents. Yeah, you made your minimum 40 bucks. Proud of you for that. Oh, there's been a late fee this year. I forgot to take it. Oh, no, there's been a late late fee this year. Oh, dang it. It was probably overdrafted or something. It didn't go. Oh, shucks. Our life sucks. That's a bomber. Oh, no. You guys are weird, man. Inc. What's happening? Oh, $40 fee. That's a late fee. Oh, that's your business. It's the first property fled business account. Yeah. Yeah, that's yours. I don't know about that. Max that out on. Yeah, she's so not it's not even just like business loans, mortgage, it's anything that you put in a man high interest shitty credit cards. Yeah, this is probably interest free for a moment. It looks like or maybe it's under deferral. Some kind because your life sucks, but it is $4,729 in 11 cents with $475 being the payment. And we've missed every month this year so far. Oh, wow. Yeah, oh, every year. Yeah, yeah, it is. And the interest starts accruing. Oh, two weeks ago. Oh, man, we were close. Kind of. So what? I don't know to possibly paying that off before the interest started hitting. No, no, we're late every month this year so far. You suck, guys. You are the worst. Oh, we have another slave edge. Why not? Let's just start collecting them. Yeah, we you literally saw a little bit of all these credit cards and you're like, yep, that's the way. At the time it was personal. No, that's actually never the way. That means the business is not working. Hey, wait, who would have thought? Okay, the initial plan was we had a budget set aside for the rehab and then the contractor screwed us on. How did you get screwed? I gave him the $60,000 budget and we were $20,000 short and he basically never came back. And so I had to go to San Angelo and live in a hotel and we had to sleep on the floor in the house. What do you mean? So you've told me about a lot of plans. I've never seen one result it has worked. It sounds like any plan you've ever had in your entire life is not worked. Maybe it's not following your own plans because you don't know how to plan and you are a joke. It's not for reading Robert Kiyosaki who made up a story. Well, I don't know what to say other than I feel like you don't learn anything without doing anything. It's time to give up because I'm a failure and it's time to grow up and I'm going to start my new life at 31 as an adult and get a good job because I can't do this shit myself. I'm probably going to keep doing it just so you know. Really? Yeah, probably so. You're poor kids. Well, I don't know why I should have even finished this shit. Dude, your Dave would tell you not to. I would tell you not to. Yeah, that's not necessary. Remete would tell you not to. Grammethin would tell you not to. Everyone in the world would tell you not to. Who talks about money online? No reasonable person. No person that spends their life thinking about this shit. It's telling that shit. Reading about the shit. Would tell you to do this. Would Robert tell you to do this? I don't even think so. With your failure record doubt it. But shit, poor dad, your dad. Hey, everybody's got a file bankruptcy at least once. Nope. You can be president of the United States with like three or four of those. Okay, well he has he's a billionaire. You're a negative tens of thousands and a failure of a debt. My kids left me by the way. He's two and a half. He doesn't know anything. He knows that I'm the best. For now he resents you for the rest of his life once he starts learning how horrible mom and dad's relationship is and how dad calls all the stress and struggle. Okay, your network is negative 1.3 million. That sounds about right. Right. Yeah, you suck it. Everything. Okay. Yeah, stay with that. That's really working. This makes sense. Okay, city. What's going on? Tell them other balance transfer cards. Yeah, I think so. Why not? 5,126 dollars minimum monthly payment $306. Sure. Transferred built it up. That's why I don't want you to use any of our services that are dull. can use, but you're not adult. You have improving your behavior. You build up every balance that you transfer them, build up your previous balance. Look, I don't plan on ever using debt again, and I don't think a plan of yours. Well, I don't think you should follow it. Well, it's not going to work out. If it makes you feel any better, I don't think anybody's going to give me anymore debt. Any more debt. No one should. Yeah. Why are you with him? It calls you bad words as literally the worst business man I've ever met in my life, and he isn't even there for his family. Why are you there? I do love him. Why? I'm a lot. I don't understand how at this point. Where's my best friend? How? You guys don't hang out, and when you do, you cry. We do. No. That was an overstatement that literally hours of five times a week. No. We stopped doing that mostly because I stopped doing that two weeks ago. Well, okay. We've shortened them. I've started walking away from the conversations. I've started walking away from the conversations because she loved him so much. She met with a divorce lawyer two weeks ago. Yeah. Classic love. So romantic. Well, I feel like 50% of all marriages end in divorce and you are headed that way. And closer than most. The other 50% of all thought about it. Yeah, I agree with that. Yeah, but most of it won't meet a lawyer. That's fair. It's not 50% of all marriages ever that's heavily skewed by the young and early married, where you guys are 10 years in your expectancy is much higher. Average age of marriage whenever they get divorced is a 19 years of marriage because they'll stay for the kids. Well, if you take average, you know how average has worked. Yes. But excuse me. Okay, student loans who have student loans looks like you do. Yes. Okay, 5,927 for what? For popping things out of your vagina and then making that your entire life for no. I center probably what? No, this. What are your student loans for? What did you study? Biology degree. Bloody, you can't even handle a conversation. Yeah. Good thing you don't do anything with it. 397 dollars and 20 past due. They will start defaulting and pull from your taxes. Oh, yeah, because I didn't know that. I did want to keep paying on that one, but you probably should. Yeah. Why instead you guys are being horrible with your business. You said four walls. That's what I paid. They won't be soon. Do you guys not understand that you're just almost miss constantly? You just spent $1,800 on a personal trading certificate. That four walls. Yeah. Are you sure? No, you didn't even pay in your previews. That was on payments though. Everything's on payments. That's your guys' life. You guys are broken. You guys are headed towards the end. She wanted the certificate. No, I might have told her now. I spend $1.3 million on houses if she wants $1,800. Oh, okay. You guys are perfect for each other, actually. Okay. We have an auto statement, $25,600, or I guess, pay up about $818.14, with a minimum monthly payment of $571.79. That's it. Yeah. I think that's my truck. Okay. Great. You're under water by $10,000. It's kind of a piece of shit. It's the interest rate. Just like you. I have no idea. Like 13, 4 times. I have no idea. You're a piece of shit. I thought it was eight. I have no idea. We don't even know anything. We can't even. It was red, dude. I kind of don't care. You don't care? What a father. What a man. What a good partner you are. He doesn't mean that. He cares. About the interest rate of its 13 or 8. Being told there's like a new car situation. Yes, we did. You guys not know you're literally poor. Like so poor. So what is with the new car? So my old car, my beautiful Volkswagen Golf, GTI, broke down and stopped working. Blue the motor. Blue the motor, one cylinder. No oil change. Yeah, ever. Excuse me. I changed the oil. I put oil in her all the time. She's dead now. I know. I know she's dead. What? So then she. Okay, I'm sorry. Okay, so we took her to the dealership and my father was there and he was like, let's get you a new one. And with my credit, because our credit is bad and we were like, okay, we took him up on his offer. So it's under his name. We do make the payments. We've only made one payment because we just got it. Brand new 2026, third row seating. And his name? Yeah, it's in my father's name. What's out? Like 43. I think it's 43. It's worth 34. Then it's. I don't know. What's your payment? 731. And you pay to him? Yes, we pay. We just pay it online or wait. First payment. You're not going to be able to pay more. You're going to find you're behind on like 30 debts. Yeah. Yeah. And you're going to camp? No. Yes, you are. No. How you can't say no. You're literally behind on other payments. How are you going to make this payment that is higher than every single payment we've talked about so far? We prioritize that payment. That's impossible. That's literally 734 or whatever. And you know, what, what the fuck? Are you getting a 45,000 hour car? You can't afford that. Get a 10,000 hour car. Old car. She wanted it. I don't care. Oh, you guys have no self control. You guys can't say no to each other, to yourselves. No, I could say no. I could have said no. But you didn't. No, I didn't. I know. Oh, my God. My father really wanted me to have it too. Oh, you're dad and purchase. Just like your mom's a. Who you already over in that. Oh, my goodness. You guys are bad people. God knows my heart. And that you're a bad person. Look how you're abusing your parents literally financially. You have a, so you're 2017 GTI? Yes. What's up with it? She is running on one cylinder. Okay. Just get rid of it. Sell it. No, I'm never selling it. No. Okay. No, it's my wife. Because she will prioritize her wants and desires over anyone else. So 2,000 hours in this checking account looks like it was for the third property flip. Why are we getting coffee and coffee? I'm driving to the business. I'm so done with this. I'm so done with him. He needs to learn his lesson and be put under the ground financially. Well, there it is. Savings, seven sons, of course. Yeah. You're life to joke. You should be embarrassed and probably. Jesus. You know, oh, real estate alone 690,000. Was this the one you're telling me about? Yeah, that one's on the four-word house. Oh, 690,000 at 13% Yeah, it's gone on too long now. And I think the pay off is more like 870, something like that. Oh, my goodness. I've never seen anything like that in my life. You're ruined. You guys are ruined. That's it. Yeah. No, I look. I know the goal. I don't give a fuck about the goal. Yeah, the goal right now. No, I don't care. No, it's in your, you're done. You're ruined. I don't think there's a lot to do. Good luck. New like 6,000 bucks or whatever to the birthing center by October while making the payment to the Dan will allow in this to continue to accrue. When is the payment going to be required on that on the 870 that it is ballooned to? It's a good question, depends on if it files for closure or if we sell it.
