If you can't tell from my voice, I'm up and about. 'Cause it is day one of the championships there at Royal Rammwick. We've got four group ones on the card, highlighted by the group one Donkaster mall. One of Australia's most time honored handicaps formerly in Bucks. We've also got the TJ, we've got the Darby, we've got the size, produce, we've got the slipper form. And apparently bought, apparently they're racing at Callfield as well, but I wouldn't have known. - Oh. (laughs) - Apparently they're racing in Sydney. I wouldn't know about it. - Apparently this track has not played very well this Callfield track in recent times. What's gonna happen on Saturday? - Well, that is an excellent question. Ben. Who knows? - I've heard, Matt Welch went out and walked the track said the inside may not be a little bit worse away, they must have a few issue with the roots. Issues with the roots and things like that. - Bit of my gym. - I'd still. - Yeah. - We all go for our stages, mate. I'm hearing. - Okay, thanks. - I'm hearing that it could be fenced off at both venues. So we'll see what happens on the day. What's happening in the world? Petrol prices are ridiculous. I don't know if you boys, Nico, do you drive a diesel with that truck of yours? - Yes, I certainly do. - So what are you shopping at the moment, three bucks? - Bucket, no. Yeah. Some joints are starting to get down to three now, but it was like 330. Plus at some joints it was fucking ridiculous. Generally, diesel was much cheaper than unlettered, isn't it? - Usually, back in the day when I was a kid growing up, fucking hope it was, it was always 20, 30 cents minimum. And it never really fluctuated much. Like diesel prices always sort of stayed with him, sort of 10 cents. Obviously I'm lettered and fluctuated a lot more, but not now. - Ever since I got the Bugatti, it's actually a Kia, but I call it a Bugatti. I've been buying 98. But in recent times, I'm just like, I just can't justify it. So she's been getting filled up with the stock standard mix and that's just a sign of the times. - Let it feel drop a lot more than what diesel you watch. - Yeah. What's his name? Who's there prime minister at the moment? - That could have been the most pointless thing I've ever watched last night. What the fuck was that? - All right, let's leave politics alone. - No, honestly, that was the biggest waste of time. Could have had me fold that it was an April Fools press conference. - Why may it go into lockdown again? - Well, that is not happening. - Usually when the prime minister or someone who high up calls for a national address, it's sort of something serious. This could have been a letter that got posted on social media that everyone just could have flipped past. - We're sending bot over to get some more oil. I think that's what I'm next time. - Let's not get to political it because we've got one of the biggest oil reserves off the back of the back of the back and we're not touching. Let's not go down this path. - Now, the other announcement today was there's gonna be even more major gambling advertisement restrictions that he's going to affect racing in the coming months. So, look, I understand it for sports because you don't want 10 year old kids looking at gambling ads all the time when they're at the footy or watching footy on TV, but we do want a little bit. We've run it more heavily in racing because it's an 18 plus sport and we sort of need to get that exposure out there in some degree. - Yeah, but rightfully or wrongfully, like they can do whatever they wanted to to try evaporate betting out of sport, but that's simply what keeps the lights on. So, people don't like to speak about that, but that's the truth. So there's nothing wrong with having a partner. So, you know, it is what it is. Let's not go down that rabbit hole either because I'll get really well done. - It's a long, windy, dark rabbit hole that one. Cool field rails out four metres. We're saying fences still gonna be off. They were doing these weird little coupling things that were taking parts out of the track. I would not be shocked if they're getting out water and water as we sort of get into this program. The racers bought wants to focus on and there's too many for my likening because this is a pretty average meeting. But we'll speed through 'em. One, two, three, four, and six. We started race one, Benchmark 74 over 1800 metres and Mook to Lyft, four dollars, 20 engine of war for the my race horse team and six dollars. Filiodar Gento, six dollars, 50 and a merchant fly eight dollars. - Yeah, well, both of the first two of them are gonna be my race horse. But yeah, I think the favourite is a rightful favourite and one that I think will continue to firm into favour, or into shorter than what it is until Saturday. Like it's, no, I've seen some international ratings for it and it stacks up very, very well against this very limited group of horses, engine of wars, probably the only one that's likely to progress into anything better than this. I think that stable have a bit of an opinion of the trial. Well, straight to 1800 metres note, no messing about, drawing wide on the days, no disadvantage. I think that's to show any sort of intent and I think is a fair price at better than three of them. - Mook to Lyft heading down under at 325,000, Gini's, how much is that? - 325. - L.A. Double. Gini's double pretty much to AUD. Yeah, there you go. It is around double, maybe not quite. So it's not that expensive to be honest. - No, he's not. He run, he won well at York, I think. He's run fast time from whatever. - I guess the caveat is he's a gouding, so there's no residual value there. We move on to race two, benchmark 78, 1600 metres. Terri Lee has been one of Bot's horses in recent times. I think he got the victory for it last time, $2.30 from cheering Gator $5.00, Adiva is $6.00 and Autumn slide $9.50. - Yeah, she's been one of mine, she's gonna be one of mine again on the Saturday night. I think I've been waiting for Terri Lee. These are the first time for Terri Lee to get out over further than a mile, correct me if I'm wrong, but that's true. Over further than seven furlongs, he's never been past seven 400 metres. And I've been waiting for it to get to a mile, it's by Territories, no issue with a mile, I think a mile might even be a best trip. I think it can settle further forward from an inside barrier. As it did last start, maybe even a little bit more forward. I'll just see, again, like none of these are going anywhere. Sheeran Gator was probably the most likely to improve. It was sort of nacked out the back and didn't do a whole lot there last time at Sandown. Spitts were okay, but then again, blistering went straight past it. And it's no no world better, that's for sure. So Terri Lee, it's only had seven stars. I think it'll improve for being at a mile and he can set a handy from the gate. 38 days is maybe some sort of query,
but I think we can serve very good trainer. And it was off about 30 days last time. So I think it's a, I think it's an even money chance in the betting better than that. So get stuck in. Bang, bang. Benchmark 70 for race three over 1400 meters. The Balmont Gangster $2.40 made its name by beating observer. First start in Australia at San Diego late last year. Test of love for $60 a Liero on a relatively quick backup $5.50 and hot digger boom, these $9. - Well, I mean, if you're gonna beat the, the, the, the champion that is observer, you have to have a observer for him. - Oh, he must be a champion. If he's able to beat observer. - What happened to Corfield the next start? - Well, it ran straight into that race at that surf and bird one. And, I think he pulled up a bit saw poor recovery or something like that. Well, that's completely fine. I think this horse is like the market expected it to go to a number that just would absolutely destroy this field. And what it did first start last prep, betting observer was off 340 days or thereabouts 300 plus days anyway. I think it can roll forward here and again, lie draws no disadvantage at Corfield. It's the best horse in this but race by so far. It's trial while leading in second prep in Australia and the in San Freeman. Do a good, good job with these imports. Oh, it's just gonna, it's, I think it's a $1.80 chance. Like for, for those of the, I think it opened like sort of, a much bigger price. I think it was like 350 or something like that. So if you saw that well done, I didn't, but 240 now is I think I'm sure it'll start on. Well, I've just had a look at the trial and yeah, fair to say, it is a re-osing stuff. $3.60 open with tab. So there you go. Couple of punters have a very, very tasty price there. Race for, 24,000 meter benchmark 78 snooze fest, Pantile warrior, $3.60 from Bluestone, $3.90. Will this horse ever win another race? And Bacadorial $4.50 extra rush is $7. Did I put this in? Did you just get this one? You did put it in? I could talk about it with three four. Yeah, okay. 'Cause you put it in. I'd, yeah, yeah, I know. Well, 'cause I really like, I really like Pantile warrior and I've been waiting for it to get to a mile and a half. But the problem is now it's been $6.20 about $3.60. So yeah, I mean, I marked it three all as $45. And I was keen on it and now it's got the right price now. So I'm gonna see. Okay, look at this horses by. Pantile warrior, buy, Frankl, bought a Lelves of Frankl, a Frankl on the backup. Frankl on the backup, Daniel Bryan. Unbelievable. Yeah, it'll just go straight to the front on the backup. I mean, if you get $4, I take $4. So you'll see what happens on Saturday. So I won't tip you into anything right now, but if you're getting a better price on Saturday, there you go. You didn't mean to put in race five, did you? Actually, and it was race four you put in. Always skipping to six. Oh, great. No, I was skipping. Six. All right, race six, it's 500 meter three-road handicap. Extra galactic $4.80. This horse has caught me out on TV. I reckon once or twice, did that name. I think I've fucked it up. Tonado, queen $5.50, shadow easy, $6.50, and torshen $8.50. Yellow jacket is $11 as well. We obviously saw this horse run second to Jenny, the ninja on debut. I mean, at the time the talk putt. Sorry, you're breaking up a bit for me. I can barely understand you, but I'm pretty sure you've finished speaking now. I have extra galactic. Like that, that Packingham win is just off its head. Like that was ridiculous. Nico's mate owns this, he was saying before. Yeah, shout out to Nico here, be listening. Good luck on the weekend, brother. You've got to do a nice one on the hands. Yeah, I mean, like well handled, it's sort of 1,000 meters first up, run second, big splits, and then one, well, at Ben's down there, they sent it straight to Muni Valley in listed grade. Big S pay their end of prep run, that's fine. Returns first up to Packingham over 1,000 meters. It's completely off the map, and just absolutely bolts in, running massive, massive fast time. Goes 1,000 to 1,200 meters first up. I don't have any real query about a barrier 13 again, because I'm thinking the inside's probably not going to be the place to be. I think if it repeats that number, I think it'll just win, and then 480 is the best price, and I think that's probably more than fair. It's nearly a bit that I'm having at Coolfield. It's going to be the $5.00 area today, and it looks great price. Yeah, nice. I think it's flying around $4.64, 80 now, and certainly looks to have some good upside. But I do know if ambassadorial goes to race four, surely it goes to the main race, the Aster Cup. Well, race eight. Well, it has to get a run in the Aster Cup. What is it, first emergency? Yeah, I think it's first. It should get a run. It should, yeah, and I don't think it'll, yeah, I don't think it'll, I'm a little bit, I don't think it'll stay in my half, but get it without wanting it. But, Well, give us your quick thoughts on the Aster Cup, right? So it's a 2,000 meter group three, ambassadorial's $5.00, see what I say, $6.00, plumage $7.50. That's the runner I don't mind. Santora is $12.00. I see a few people kicking out for immediacy to bounce back at $19.00, and quietness is there as well. She went a real solid tempo last time. Yeah, I don't really, I don't love ambassadorial. I don't, I get to see what I see, I understand it's going to race on pace and be suited, but it's one of those ones that is always, it will always run well, but you want to win, and I don't think it has a number to do it. Plymouth, I think, I convinced Plymouth is best over a mile, and it's one race is over 2,000, but I think best distances are mile. I thought the King's Valley was a little bit big, maybe. If Benadue would have had a drawing a gate, I'd back Benadue, but I just know exactly what they're going to do and give it, she's going to be given no chance. And I get, as you said, lots of people are kicking out for it, but immediacy is just so easy to back. I'll back immediacy, I'll definitely have a bit, and I'll back immediacy, because it's, yeah, I've, you know, he's one of my horses, I've backed him multiple times, and he's run big ratings that would handle this field, it was amazing first up behind the Australian cup winner, and then race plain, plainly at call field, and then was just wired the entire way, fast pace, at Flanston, and then 28 days between runs, rocks up here and draws really well, I would have got a soft run, and I always argue, arguably, the best horse in the race, when you, like all things considered, I'd, he's absolute peak, so I'll definitely back him, 100% I won't mind anything. He's a top price of $19, but that is with the sports bet, we're betting emergencies in. Race 9, Victoria Handicap, Group 3, 4, 800 meters, but doesn't have official plan this, but we'll go through the market, Persian Spirit 450, here to shock 650, King's F at $6.50, you can probably be somewhat forgiving of the last time, but draws wide, roads are a $1,7, and cafe millennium $10. I really thought, when I first looked at this race, I thought here to shock, it's just going to map so well, but then I just keep coming back to it, if this fence is legitimately cast, then Persian Spirit gets his chance. Is Persian Spirit not quite going as well as last preparation? No, I think he's going fine. I don't know about that. I think it's my. Crossroads with the Sharsbury Avenue. The Sharsbury Avenue was just, you know, that day, it flew me to do it, you couldn't make around, they went, they went, like, they didn't go particularly fast, and he ripped home and really nice sectionals, and then the start before that was the Oakley Plate, where I think they just found them a bit quick. So, I think it's at a perfect spot. Like he's. I don't think he's lost any. Like he hasn't lost anything in my eyes. He's the same horse he's always been, and if he gets every opportunity, which I think he should, I think, he'll rock up, and he's definitely favorite. I don't know if I can back him, though. The price is probably. That's right, but. I mean, King's F is half interesting too, but like it was lame first up in the wrong part of the track. I do have a tri-4-8 under it. How far about to the F1-1 area? 114-8. You could get a long way. Oh, one of the bigs. The legs by the loser's authority. Yeah, I'm a bigs by the best traders in Victoria, but just going from that run to peaking him here second up, it takes a lot of effort. You know, the 14 days, like you get pulled up lame, you got to recover the horse and you got to improve him up to 14, 100 metres. I'm not a trainer, but I don't imagine that'd be very easy. With a risk of care paid in Scotland. It's a tricky race. That day, Persian spirit won that race at Flemington and put four legs on sunshine in my pocket at Tetsha. I was like, this could be like a Rupert Clark horse. You probably, like, just a fresh up and let's go to a long-droom horse. Oh, come on. Tell me, tell me, tell me, tell me while the long-droom is in. Tell me while the wilds are in. Should be doing that. He's not going good enough to be going to Brisbane. So why would you not freshen up and win a one-goot? Like soft ground. 12-1. He's probably better at four. Well, he's just plodding around at the moment. Just freshening him up and win the one-goot. So I'm a simple, simple start. A little bit of day-day for him. Especially if the track is in his favour. Don't know if I'll be getting, I don't think I'll be having many bets on Saturday at Corfield. Well, I will be having many bets. He's at the champion chips. Let's go. That is Royal Ranwick. Royal, they move it out. No, they don't. Four metres. No, they don't. True. Is that true? True this week. Yeah. You should automatically say the first couple of lanes are going to be off. Especially if we get rain on race day. It's currently a soft fire, but it's 27 degrees next couple of days in Sydney. The forecast is 0-8mm or 0-9mm on race day, and they reckon it could begin tomorrow night. So Friday night, good Friday into the Saturday. It's going to be interesting how much it gets because it could have a real impact on racing, Nico. Yeah, well, we want the rain to fuck off. I don't want the rain. Just don't roll a big race day. It probably makes some of my betting decisions easier. Like horses like Jolly Star, popping up one day. Yeah, rain on race day is never good, especially in Sydney because before we know, we could be caught in 50mm. We're going to go straight to the big ones. Big ones with race six, group on English size, 1400 metres for our two-year-olds, strives and $3.14 in favour from Campione de Italia $4.60. Paradoxium $11, Zambali's $12, Missionale $14, and tornado values $15. Nico, I'll give you the new ball here. Yeah, I thought it was a pretty easy bet to have. I think strives and should just control the race, being in prominent position and I think she's by far in a way the best horse in this race. She was the run of the race in the Golden Slipper. She did so well to stick on. Clint McDonald's got a good handle on this feeling and all the indications are that she hasn't had enough yet, so it was back here then. Yeah, there's a pretty moderate bunch of benchmark. Seven horses in waiting in behind here and she's a group on fairly and will continue to be. So yeah, quite clearly strives in on top. I think she'll be awfully hard to beat. Yeah, I completely agree. You look at that Golden Slipper, closer to free, led them to the 600. He travelled six lengths faster than class average to the 600-metre mark. So it was a very fast run, high-pressure slip up. Strives in settled second in the race. She was still there swinging at the end. Outside a guest house, she's clearly the run of the race. And this race will not be run as a stronger tempo. So Ben Maum will slide forward. On a softer tempo, I think that will look, the 400-metres is obviously some query, but it's a query for a lot of these horses, including a horse like Paradoxium, who's got to go forward and he had a real gut buster in that slipper as well. I just think it sets up so well for her. She is arguably the best two-year-old Philly in the country from what we've seen. She wants to die once, she's around second in the slipper. As good as Campioni, Detalia was late there. He was sort of picking up the pieces while the on-speed division were sort of falling in a hole. So he's going to be behind her in the run. And I think the only way that he beats her is if she is flat off the slipper and if she doesn't run a strong 14. On the soft tempo, I think she will. I think the horse you've got to have something small on. We just can't let tornado valley go around. I got some $17, a Kiranmar Zach Lloyd horse. I watched the replay of that toadman. It was run at a pedestrian tempo. He was back in the field, uninterested. He didn't really get a run. Look at his work through the line. Look at his most recent trial where he beat the next episode in a couple of other nice horses. I think he's got 14, 100 metres written all over him. George Barry one, hopefully goes forward. I think he's over the odds as well. Will? No, I mean, just from a pay-sangles strizer should be a pronounced favourite over a champion to Talia, but it does get Jay Mac and it gets to settle closer. You might have been suited, but still, you know. That's more. That's fair. But can you talk to him a little bit more? Yeah, I think strizer should be clear favourite. I think his Zambali wins. I'll go for a long walk. The remite will be going for the day of Ace game. Yeah, and Altspan looks a little bit big as well. I don't do you think, because Altspan, he's always sort of looked like he was going to get over further. He was second, we'll work in the Pago Pago. I think we're just talking about moderate oppositions. You're looking for angles if you scroll on that date. Just starting to build the obvious strizer, it's proper group one horse. Oh, he was a good run. Like, yeah, you can make a case $31 as a big price. He's probably that price based on his SP profile. Just gross to his dad's name. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh. Fucking true. Let's move on to race seven. T.J. Smith, group on 12, 100 metres weight for age. Fair to say this is the best printing race of the autumn. I think it's very fair. Yep. The new market has a cover. Oh, fuck. Clap, clap for the head and cap. Please, Tent Iris, the open to shorter quote, but he's now out to the top price of $3.80. Jolly star $4. You're not going to get $4. Who? Jolly star. She's yet to shine on the biggest stage. I don't think she's going to wait for age. She wouldn't be working. That's the biggest clap for the hand and cap. She hasn't won a big ocean in the chat. She's at $6.50. Are you up PBR's payroll? Overpass is $13. I did a little map earlier today. Overpass clearly finds the front from barrier seven. The fact that Marzu is drawn out nine just means that overpass will find that front position first. So Marzu settles the outside lead. Jolly stars clearly the map horse. She either settles in the one one or if J-Mac wants to let Tyler Schiller in on Briasa who God forbid if they don't go forward here, then I think I'll have to go on the Monday mainstess. Briasa could get caught three wide no cover. I had him find in the one one, but if J-Mac wants to push up and keep Tyler wide, he could. Magic time will probably be midfield on the fence somewhere. Then you've got Jimmy star who will be in front of Tent Iris. I think Jimmy star will be in front of Giga kick as well and Skyebird is another one out the back. Map Niko, Tent Horus, barrier one. He's a freak, but it is a little bit tricky at Real week. Yeah he is, but you're backing the stable and his regular race for I'll be back on now. This race is not very easy to work out. It's a great race. Yeah, to me I've got it to probably three chances, depending on race conditions. Providing it stays an acceptable track. I think chances are Tent Iris, Jimmy star, and overpass if it was to get a little bit wet up, I think that probably hinders Tent Iris to a degree and probably enhances Giga kick chances. I don't think there's any reason to doubt Tent Iris handling a sort of a rain-affected track. I know he's got a big action and he lets rip. Those type of horses necessarily can have their wheels spin a little bit, but streak bosses usually handle the going and Sam seemed to think that on the mum's side the wet track probably wouldn't be too much of an issue. It's a great race, but there's. A lot of question marks. I think had these horses been coming in here with better lead-up runs. I think it'd be still, it's not taken anything away from it, but it just makes it, just makes piecing the puzzle a bit harder, I think. Tentirellis is going to need it to bounce back to his form and a good ride from Mark's hour, but I think he deserves to be favorite. Jimmy Star was a very, what the fuck, run last time, he can absolutely bounce back, but it's he set to peak, maybe next start, 1,400 wet track against not as many as these. And they all aged? Yeah, and I don't want to discount over pass, he's a tough horse, who's going to lead this race, control on his own, he's very dangerous when he gets those circumstances, a bit of cut in the tracks, not going to be to his disadvantage. So yeah, it's a great race, I've got no real firm opinion. The only horse that I really want to gap his jolly star, I haven't hit away from the fact that she hasn't won a big race and now's her time on Saturday, step up and prove me wrong, I'll happily copy it on the chin, but these are the type of races that you should be winning if you're one of the best winners in the land and a lot of people want to proclaim that she is. Well, now's her time on Saturday, she's coming here off two runs, gets a great set up, I'll have to really get good conditions. Yeah, step up and show us what you're really made of. So I don't want to hear any excuses because she shouldn't have won in the world on Saturday. I've had two bets so far, I do have $15 for Briar, so I just thought that was obviously a lot of futures, so that's a while ago. He's drawn out his eights to run below those, these also. He is, but he is also the defending champion, which we didn't mention. And last year he mapped in the one one, Jimmy star drew wide, he got too far back. jolly star was on the inside, probably the inferior going back towards the fence and look, he had his birthday, but I thought he's running the galaxy was solid. If he finds the one one, he's a chance. If he's three wide no-cover, he can't win. Jimmy star is the other bet I've had, I took $5, but now with this, this 365 winnings boost you get the 25% price, I was able to snatch a bit of sixes, which is just an outstanding price for a very good horse. He went around $2.10 at core field, he's on the inside. Where is he, he coped two black eyes from the kickback, which can't possibly help. And I'd be happy to forgive a good horse like this one bad run with doubt excuses. He's a clear excuses. It's just a good price to find the up for him. So he's definitely a result for me. Tens was the only knock I've got is the barrier. I thought he was fine in the new market like that track was just so advantageous to be nearer to the speed and that's where all the speed was. And jolly star, I agree. If this is a soft five and we don't cop the full eight meals of rain on Saturday, she can win, but Niko, we've just seen, we've just seen in the TJ in the Everest and a couple of times in these races that she just hasn't quite a lot of jolly star. She's a good horse, but she's not a, she's not a top tier horse. She's not the best one of the best sprinters in the country. She's just plain. She has one of the best. Oh, well, yeah, if you want to have five of them in a handful, no worries. And she probably makes it cut, but she's not the best sprinter. And in the top three in conversation in my book, I think if they all run to their best, you know, she's running in a club, club, handicapped against big grade horses, no, we're super star. If she runs to his Russell molding or obviously their CFO run, I know there was a row of a bit further than in 14. I think he definitely runs top two. And she's 10 to 16. She gets absolutely murdered in bedding in these big races, like the Everest start of $5 or whatever super price she started, but she'll get hammered again on Saturday, probably no, yeah, but I just think people think she's better than what she really is. She's a good horse. I'm not saying she's not, but she's not this superstar that some people think she is. Yeah. Interesting. She should just turn up and win this race. She's got everything in her favor. She's going to go out. Jolly star. Go out and listen to this. Go out and win the race. Nick shot up, mate. I'm sure Jolly stars listen to this podcast. I think Ben tried to talk about 15 different times in that in that minute. Nick had cut him off everything with time. I think we can officially declare that Nick always indeed a Jolly star head up and we'll move on to race eight, which is the cost of mile six hundred. Sorry, but you just get a tell us that Jolly stars are good horse and Jimmy start as around 12 hundred. Go on, but tell us that they're all 14 hundred meter horses. You've said enough Nick. No, I look, I think I think three eighties of fair enough price for 10 tires is the best sprinter in Australia. The market expected him to run the same number that Cajing rising run in the Everest. Obviously, he did not rising. It wasn't at at yeah, but it's a good it's a good it's a good guide to see what what the market expected. I mean, the market's pretty efficient. I sort of know what they're doing. So if he if he gets have fair run at them, I think he's a lot better than them. Do you like to agree? He's mapped last on the fence probably what or at least four of the pair back on the fence. Yeah, probably I look I haven't priced it, but I'd also be interested in Briar so. Yeah, well right now as we speak, Jimmy's time. Briar so am I on my two results. So we'll see how we go whether I add to that or not on Saturday will just be weather dependent. Ro say Donnie mile sixteen hundred meters four million dollars before the Queen Elizabeth got a prize money upgrade to five mil. This was this was the biggest race of the championships and the unofficial fifth major of Australian racing. Obviously Melbourne Cup, Cox plate, Corefield Cup, Golden Slipper and for many a decade, the Donkaster mile was seen as the unofficial fifth seed. She's Alibi $2.10 and favorite. I don't think we've I think I was listening to the racing sports podcast. There's been only a handful of horses who've started or maybe one that are nods on quote in Australian handicaps. Autumn boy $7.50. Gringot's $15.00. Peri Clees $15.60 $17.00. Headly Grange $18.00. Step party $19.00. And that was obviously group ones to clarify. My map. Gringot's maps are probably from Barrett too. You'll go forward and probably box seat. Trade Williams, we need him to be super positive on Peri Clees. I think he should roll forward. Even though it is a high pressure group on handicapped, it doesn't look a it doesn't look a whole heap of speed. So I think he can go forward. I think that the two top weights really map well. Autumn boy midfield somewhere in the fence. She's Alibi. Probably midfield or touch worse. She'll be looking for a back to follow Jamie Malam getting down to the 49 kilos. Step party maps well from Barrier 6 and horses who get back in the run. Vivier, car, end cap, militarize and the other one who has been actually ridden warm in recent starts, but they're going to revert back to going a long way back here and that's 60s drawn wide. So I was pretty happy to be against him. Yeah. They're going to ride 60s back. Yeah. I've listened to Chris speak about it and he's they were so enamored with how well he won first up at Rose Hill. Oh, God. Sorry. No, that I think he's going back. No, no, that's not. It's not how it works, but I don't think 60s can win anyway. No, no. Sorry, I didn't benefit that. I think lineback and evaporate, paracles, they're all chances, but like I, I like completely transparent. I haven't I haven't priced a race, but like the same way, the same way autumn glow shouldn't have been a dollar 20. She was never going to lose though. You know what I mean? Like you could like with ratings, you price and and there you can price like for example, I price the autumn glow like a dollar 50 a couple weeks ago, whatever. She started a dollar 20. I could never get her a dollar 20. I can't get shoes out of my anywhere near two dollars 10, but I can't see a losing. Look, I just can't. Life sheet. I just can't see a losing. She's probably probably fair to say that computers are wrong. What is this? You all the computer. I'll get really saying because when you mark a when you mark a race to 100% if you're getting she's a lot of money, you're getting very good horses at like 26 dollars 30 to one. Yeah, it's it is hard to do. Obviously we're betting in a 125% market. Yeah, well, that's the caveat. That's that's the big. 100% market's all good and well, but it's fucking not really. It's really crazy. That's what you're betting into. So I don't know. I don't I don't think we're going to get it now. I don't know. I don't know. It's just that's a thing. I understand why people mark their markets to 100% but to me, it's a bit of a bit of a lot.
- It's a big, little way factor. - Well, it is. It's like, look at me and look at me and look at me in a marketing market that is so unrealistic because actually we're not actually betting anywhere near these prices. So like, it isn't Wang factor. - Well, they do. - Where are you betting close to 100%, maybe it's warnable in the ring, that'll be about it. - All right, I'm not doing this. - Well, tell me when you're betting close to 100%. - Right, yeah, linebacker looks pretty big, doesn't he? - Damn, Jesus Christ. - He was weak that last 100 last start in the, in the jaw drive. I thought there was many better runs than him. He was, he's well weighted. Look, I'll just quickly go. She's a little boy, has to be on top selections. Like if she's not your on top selection, then, I don't know, you're predicting bad luck with something because she absolutely bolted in the first time she saw a proper tempo in the round with getting, she put three and a half nearly on autumn boy. He was coming out and won the Rose who was getting his own soft tempo. She murdered him. She's, she's one of the best weighted horses I've seen in a dogcaster ever at 49 kilos, completely escapes the handicap, because she hasn't won a group one yet. It looks like Saturday will be her day. If the fence is off, she gets three wide cover. She probably blows them away. Horses I do think are over. I took 21 dollars peri-clease. I think he's being underrated. He's winning the maturity first up was awesome. Then last start, Craig just couldn't make a decision on him. He went back. He was still three wide-node cover. He ran as good if not better than Gringot so he gets a one and a half kilo swing on. Gringot's, like he's got 58 and a half kilos but he's carried weight well in the past. Stepardio, I've got $34 for, he's tightened up. If you were just, he's run in that all-star mall, which he was just enormous on. They went fast. He sat three wide-node cover. He was only beaten a length and now he gets him with 51 and a half, like, please. He's a chance but you keep coming back to the filly, don't you, Nico? - She's home. She's a certainty. Yeah. She'll just win this race. Barrier 13's on an issue. She'll blend into the race at the right time, providing him in a lot of the heavy 55s. She will win. I had the opinion that she would beat Orton Blow conceding seven and a half, getting seven and a half kilos from her and nothing's really changed from that. Yeah. She's the reason that Orton Blow's not in this race and I won't be told otherwise. Yeah, she will win this race. She's a very, very exciting filly and yeah, can't wait to see what she can do. People try to make cases for Orton Boy. Did they not see what happened last time? You probably got whipped lash from when she went past in that fast. Like, fair dinkin. Yeah. #She's home. - I'll be back here at some stage but I'm being very graded. I want $2.20, I want $2.30, I just want a tiny bit better. Hopefully we get it and the pun is back a couple ruffies. - Yeah, I've got parts that don't happen that we get a bit better than a brass but it gets to set it up. - What parts is it that we brought to? - What are the reasons I will? - Butter. - What? - What price is a good price? - What price is that? - Oh boy. - Oh, like 280. - Yeah, we're probably not getting that. - No, probably not. - All right, race now on. Osdarby Groupon 24-100, we have the set weights, three rolls. How we all boys in this? I think we are. All cults, all goudings, no fillies from what I can see at the weights. That's is correct. Observe our top price of $3.30, equal-favorite with green spaces. If you look on some corpse, Observeries is a fair bit shorter, including the green giant. Storm Lapid on the back up, $5, Road to Paris, $10, Federalist, $14. Victoria Spirit, $26, Deildon Fast and one step closer at both 34s. Well, there is one obvious leader in this and it is Observer, but Togas threw the ride in the Rosaleginese and the tempo there and what a disaster it was. Oh, look, I mean, I'll get it. Lucky did go too slow, but like it was a tactical mishap, but like, I mean, I think it's getting over done a bit now. Lucky was beaten two lengths, three, three. Yeah, almost three lengths. Lucky was never. So the all-best horse was disappointing? Yes, the world's best horse was disappointing and I don't really want to talk about this race because I don't want to say that. I'm not saying that race last time anyway. Also, the boat actually thinks and that is what boat actually thinks is that the following blue jacket green spaces is one of the better bets on the program. Is a horse that I have backed long range futures. I think we tipped him at $15 in January on the sixth day. We go on like a boss at ass. Hopefully it turns around on Saturday with this horse. He went straight past observer in that Rose Hoganys. It was a slowly run race, so it wasn't a staying affair. But I think he's had 2400 meters written all over him. As soon as we heard that Attica wasn't going to this race, we thought, stable mate, he's the one that will be targeting the Derby. That's what he does. He comes here fourth up. I think you run a strong 2400 meters and he looks perfectly set up. So he's my on top selection. Storm leopard, he faced a really fast run on Tullic last week. He comes here off the back up. It wouldn't shock anyone if you rated down from that. But the back up goes one of two ways off of fast tempo. They are the sink or they swim. And if he swims, then he can clearly win this race. He's another son of Gareth. Gareth has got a couple here in this valley. So he's clearly flying with his progeny in Australia. And he deserves warrants very much a lot of respect. So he's another horse I've had a bet on. Roll to Paris is the New Zealander. I'm taking him on. I've had a look at the weight-frared ratings. He is not as good as Balscherville. And I hope he wins. Federalist, he's a bit of a tease, $14. I think there are two good ruffies in this race. You just have to put in your quality. They are one step closer. He's building to another victory. You run really well in the VRC Derby and Deildon fast. Both at $34 Deildon fast is by Dundeal. He looked very dour in that slowly run, Rose who got his last time. But I think he can run a much improved race, third up D-Lang, big price. You got it? I was going to say those exact two horses, but I was going to say that Deildon fast and one step closer look to a short stares, especially Deildon fast. Two of short stares that are looking at this distance. And aren't a long way from the favourites, from a form, like from a ratings point of view, from last start. So I'll probably run second and third. One of these better horses at the top will probably win, but they are over the odds. Yeah. Nico? I think I love a observer as a horse. And yeah, I just don't think he's a 24-hundred-meter horse. Do you think he won the Derby? Got sort of lucky with it. With three spaces. He's not a 24-hundred-meter horse. No, he didn't get lucky. He did get lucky because he was the best horse and he was riddened an absolute 15-hundred-ton, and he just won. Not to say that he can't be riddened like a 15-hundred-ton from very 12 with James McDonald on because that's exactly what J-Mac does. But-- We haven't mentioned that yet. Yeah, Craig got the boot for J-Mac, so that's a positive. Yeah, after it was ridden last time, then yes, it is a positive because it's-- he slaughtered the horse. Completely roading upside down. Anyway, green spaces managed to still be the observer home. And I think green spaces was probably disadvantaged more to the way the race was run last time than observer. Yeah, so I just think, you know, better run race. This time now, I think green spaces is the horse that will lap up 24-hundred meters. I think he will be the stronger at the distance. And I think he deserves to be favourite. Observer can absolutely win. But yeah, I'd have green spaces pretty dominant favourite, I think, in this race. So yeah, that's where I sort of sit with it. Yep. Yep, I tend to agree. The get-out stakes. We find in Karuna yet again, J-She broke my heart last time around. Broke it. She really did. Yep. And I'm safe to say I am going again. Mouthguard is in. And we're putting our head in the trough. PJ Bell stakes, group three, 12-hundred meters in Karuna, $3. She got to a top price of $3.50. We've got $3.65 during the week. Point if $8.50, NEPO baby, $8.50. I think that's what bodies. Horsley Hill is $9.50. Yeah. Aglewood is $10. No, I'm joking. This is a massive field. So we've got what's- Is the bet here for Jory? Early steer for the day? Oh, I'm plaintiff. He's got the visitor's draw. Up for the hunt. Yeah, shattered. Not a visitor. Not a visitor. Yeah, it is a nice feeling. But she's good. It's on barrier 20.
It'll come in a bit after scratching obviously we've got lots of emergencies in this race. It'll probably come into 15 or 16. Bravesino is also another unbeaten horse coming through the highways in this race but there's a clear horse here who gets the blinkers back on. When this horse in Corona got the blinkers on last preparations, she ran second to Point Barrow in a high rating red roses and then she beat my gladiola in the thoroughbred club stakes at Corfield. I think there was nothing really wrong with their run last time. Catch the glories is a very good wet trucker. She was solid. I think if she improves third up she'll come into barrier maybe six after these emergency's come out she she just has to be the one. So I'm sticking with her again and the other one I've had a small saver on is Aglewood who the rating last start is very very good in the WMUNRO. That was a good race. Best car I wanted to map Monster Price, Cafe Florum was in that sky hook, Wodeman, Wotan, Bedman, very good race and if she runs to that level then she's a danger around the $9 market. In Kravuna map, blinkers, ratings, I'm half chips in here Nika. Yeah I agree. Shade Don staying on for us. Yeah. The race that they've got in mind is a Sancta process weekend so that was a great race for her to go. Probably got to beat her stable mate but big great race. And I do like Willett going back on Lucky. I know he's stuffed it up a couple times last week but he's a good jockey the other day but he can get him wrong sometimes but he wrote three yesterday so hopefully he said back in the game and yeah Shade Don she should be pretty hard to beat all of her. Yeah I was looking at on Twitter someone posted Kravuna stats and Sydney obviously it falls off a cliff compared to Melbourne but hopefully this is the horse that gets him back in all that type of shit's relative though you've got to fucking really break that down and look at SPs and you know it's very easy to make it for the people just based off numbers like that you need to really break it down and have a look at it like you know. Yeah. Not a grey grey grey grey. Around the grounds you've got some WA bets we see. Pushed to West is best. Obviously it's a bit of a quaker lead up I think in the Roma Cup. Smooth Chino is favourite they were going to go straight to the quaker and you've got some concerns around that potentially. Well yeah this is the race prior to Jim Crack Stakes. You're looking at Ecaracada winner here or Bell will be winning on Saturday and she will win the Caracada which is the Golden Slipper from Perth. Yeah obviously really good horse she was the expensive failure they bought. At Easter last year the Snitzel out of Dame Giselle who used the race for water house bought in Sir Owen Glenn's colours. Yeah two from two could be more impressive. Step to 1100 metres looks no issue she actually looks a clear stand out over there in the two-year-old race. I also expect her to win. And also Beatty looks nice horse as well in the race 7. Yeah well that's that's probably her main danger or a bellbeat he's a machino last time and a few of these other fillies that she's been racing against but yeah I think probably the short and jkc team have got an army of two-year-olds but yeah Beatty's probably the one that she hasn't raced yet that's probably her biggest rival so yeah excited to see how that horse goes on the weekend but yeah just touching on the Roman Cup race 9-up. I think this is a bit of a bit of an afterthoughts for his GNO like all the talk was that he was going first up into into the Quaker and now they arrive here on Saturday so it's trying to tell me that they're probably chasing their tail of fraction trying to get another run into him obviously Lucy Fiora says warming the seat for Mark Zara that will arrive on Quaker day but yeah I didn't get $5.75 Lwana message one by three two by three that is just a fantastic bet she's just a bomb proof filly things didn't go right for her last time in the winter bottom and yeah more than happy to be with her so yeah I couldn't talk he out of Saviour's Ruth Gino great horse good horse on the rise up and yeah definitely looks a race in two but I'm more than happy to be with Lwana the one who missed it the price yep that's it's a great race so we're on Quaker what we can hear sorry one last synchrist pattern rides no jockey's been locked in for for the quaker yet there was talk that there might have been an eastern states jockey but I think this could be a bit of a good indication to say that maybe Chris is going to ride her in the quaker obviously you would think that I think parking has been given the option to ride her but you would think he would stay with Ray Magnirio but yeah interesting it's great race the quaker like jigs I'm just looking at the market now jigsaw $3.50 cabalus $3.50 I would just read out the horses who do have a slot Ray Magnirio six bucks move channel $8.00 JW $9 a bit different form there Lwana miss $11 wrote them in $15 and talking co is $26 so yeah good race it's probably as good a field it's as good a field as they could probably hope for right now and yeah they probably probably I'll probably just open they could overpass and you can go to a TJ obviously if it got really wet on Saturday and he comes out rare racing still have a secondary slot and they've indicated they would like to take him if it sort of permits but they're not hopeful they're more hopeful than confident of that because Bjorn wants to go to the TJ with him but yeah be interesting yeah see who the little bottle couple of spots go to border good Friday tomorrow mate are you you sticking to your white mates and and punting at ballerat? Nah well no ballerat I'll probably say ballerat strictly business um appeals to me out to 2000 meters in yolks I'll probably back her I think she's a freak but like first that was bad I don't think she was there I don't think she was ready to go yeah I don't know she's like there in a cool field cup is there is there some I think she looks over the odds isn't that as well like if she if she improves off first you just have to try and forgive that I don't think she was fit enough so hopefully that was just a big blowout run but like nothing against the channel but sometimes I just worry a little bit like she got to an oaks within like three starts maybe she just hasn't come up this prep that's my only little knock well I mean my concern is she was so bad what like two weeks ago and um what this this this this this track Tom Carver is meant to turn her around in 14 days like no just back to him but like he's not you know I'm not I'm not I'm not trusting a you know I'm growing bag or someone to to turn their horse around in in two weeks it's you know it's I mean to be fair he did something incredible with her last prep or action that's not you know that like that was one of the best training before on this as I've ever seen so he'll might say you can't do this but um look I mean if she runs the rating she'd in the oak she'll win this for about 500 meters and as she if she run I think she runs the ratio in the oaks and gets the the weight she'll probably likely to get in the corp who got provided early on as I've there she probably was a corp because that was a that was probably the best oaks winning rating since machine yeah so uh she what she did in the oaks was just special very good filly um she wasn't even theory ground to first up but I wouldn't read too much into it well I think it's a bit decent enough private she could just absolutely shitting uh yeah I mean you don't you don't get paid more from the shitting in but like at you know it's a bit comfy knowing that you know you can bet margins these days will can you I didn't my done you can probably take six blocks for her to win by a length and a half or more I'll just take that yeah I think she's a good filly she's a very good filly she's on track to win the um s a oaks or d'avis or whatever they're going to go to yeah have you had a look at stall cup yet no I'm good that's fine one of the great race days unfortunately we're not there I do have a 34 us on stall cup there it is yeah you can't forget that yeah we're hiding out a little uh airbnb myself live arch dog and uh What do you guys want?
Going up tomorrow or not. See you. Are you going to go to the running on Saturday? Yeah, we'll probably head down on one of the days and just have a look. But yeah, I'm about to go out of the gift that I have a drink for me. I will. Yeah, your family don't go anymore. I was thinking about going this year and we're hoping to start going back next year. But this year was sort of a bit all rushed and a few of us sort of had things planned. But yeah, hoping to get back next year, obviously it was a big part of my childhood. It was one of my favourite weekends of the year you're on a stall in Easter. So, yeah, I thoroughly encourage anyone that's never been that wants to. Is a great part of the world at Easter. And yeah, the running looks really good this year. Obviously, Bree's not defending because, you know, if you saw on Instagram today, her expecting. So, that was sort of my inkling that something like that was happening when she wasn't defending. But yeah, one of the best athletes in the world is going in the women's division. Yeah, the American. So that would be good. The American bird. So that would be interesting to see how she goes. Obviously, it's not really a backmarkers event. But yeah, I don't know who are the top men there, but hopefully the world is good up there. Should be some good racing on Monday. I'm very one or off the back holiday and what's his name that Jack. Oh, no, what's his name? The guy who keeps being. Lucky Kennedy is he running on. Lucky Kennedy. I'm thinking Jack Hale, another, another like anyway. Yeah, Jackie Kennedy and what's your. Jack did running in the ready. It was the big heart one of the years that we were there. Yeah, the lockies. Yeah, obviously not. Yeah, there's three big favourites on stall cup day. All-Star Lane joined the queue and you can't. Yeah, you can't. It looks a point and shoot job. 260 would have been nice. $3.00. What race is it? Race five. Yeah, he looks, he looks pretty good. Son of Mars. Oh, that's him. I know. Yeah. Interesting to see where they go with him. Probably Adelaide, you'd think. Maybe Queensland. What type of races they've got him on for him, but. There's a three-year-old race that reserved bank one before the good wood. I'm pretty sure. That they may be good go to in Adelaide. Is that next weekend though, the Redelva? Maybe. Maybe. Maybe it's too early. Maybe he's not up to that level. I don't know. Is 1100 too short? He just screams like he's a mile into me. Well, he's over 1230. Yeah, I know. I mean, he beats him. He'll lead from Barry one. He'll probably get away over here. You turn in front of the store and you do not lose. My dream Southern president is really going well. He is, but this is he's a benchmark 70 years. Southern prison. Yeah, there'll be race for her over the carnival. More than all, but. Yeah, she's. Yeah, you can. It looks great. Great. Great. Great. It's always a great form day for Warnable. There's a few good horses to watch in some of these maidens that noblet and wild and cove got. No, that oysterway and race that boggy creek boys was really good last time. At Warnable and where's the other horse looking for? I can't find it at the moment, but yeah, obviously there's the jumpers flat race six. And the cups pretty solid race. I would have thought it's not as good as some other years, but. Yeah. Yeah, that's a solid guard. The only other thing I want to mention is carying rising is running on Easter Monday. So make sure you set your alarm for that. It's not like you left the wake up or anything, but just remind yourself that he'll be running probably around five. Yeah, $3. $3. $3. Is he straight to China? I think. Yeah, he straight to champion's day, which I think is either the 18th or the 24th of April might be the 25th and. Japan, Japan, I was about to say Japanese. Japan are sending an absolute army to take him on. They are all going masquerade ball is going. Who's the other one? I have to get it up. They have blood, your opera, I think he's going opera, bellow is going. There's an absolute stack of them going so it'll be the hardest race that romantic warrior has faced. In a long time. So if he beats all of them. He's on his home deck. So he's clearly the one to beat, but you should get. So much better. Give us give us a dollar 90. Give us a dollar 90. I'm the favorite of a masquerade ball. Definitely. I'll have me live on Deadset. He'll start. I've got so much faith in him. I've got so much faith in his horse. Deadset. He can bring it off to a gunfight and still with. All right. Any other tips or we eat? No, don't eat too many a strings. Eight plenty. I'll give you the best tip of the weekend in terms of a star. The caramel cut cross buns are holy shit. Bar the four pack and they are elite. You can have him playing. You can have him called. You can hit him up. but you can still ladder them with Butter as well as the viscoff and then absolutely fat. The Biscoph ones are. Okay. The Biscoph and the Caramel ones. What are the Cinebon ones? They're all right, but the Caramel and the Biscoph ones are the top two. Yeah. Alright, best bet will. The Balamot Gangster. Alright, $2.40 I think, Nico. I'll take. Do you want to take. Do you want to take in Caruna? I'll take she's an Alaba. Right, so. You take it. I'll take in Caruna or. I'll take in Caruna or Australia. I can't exactly hashtag she's I'm everywhere on social media and I'll take it. I'll take that of you, but it's a bit of a sit-the-pissed behaviour, wouldn't it? Do I take in Caruna or. Australia's in. You probably have to take in Caruna. In Caruna, really? Just because it's strong enough. Yeah, it could be flat off the slip around or it might not run $4,800. I'll take in Caruna. Poghouse Monty was sick last week. We only got one home, but the sickening thing for me was obviously forever young went down. I had. So many multies going into Ombudsman, Klan again and for every young first two which is. You know what the worst part is? I'd take and I'd add a proper bet on this multi. I'd take in Klan again for every young. I'd take in the bulldogs at the line and it was 47.5 points at this point into Autumn Glow next week. The line is now like fucking 77.5 or something. Oh, proper sickening. Yeah, I would have had a K-ing rising and Autumn Glow cocks plate going for thousands and thousands like five figures over 10k. You're fucking a fucking despise at all. So it's two years in a row, it's costless. It hasn't been as good on the Dubai do it for whatever reason compared to Saudi and other places. It was that fucking ticker that beat romantic warrior cunt. Yeah. Questions on. Dwarf tipping cows. Dwarf tipping cows. There's love you work, mate. Keep it up. Thank you very much. Blessing off Autumn Glow while written asking for Klan. I don't want to think of the things that Autumn Glow would do to well written. It would be a massacre. So I'm going to say the things that she's now about as the well written in a girl and a girl. What is a Bangkok hotty doing anywhere near a kindergarten? What? What is that? What does that mean? What? What was the question? I don't know. I don't know. Let's move on. It wasn't important. It wasn't important. I think it must have some type of meaning that we've just completely gone over our heads. Rachel King on green spaces, any worry, same with Malam on she's a alibi question mark. I won't be able to get it out of my head if she bushes it. What I will say about Rachel King, she is better in 2000 meter plus races. She probably got more time to some things up. And Malam on she's alibi. I mean, I don't know. Who else can you get at 49 kilos? She's writing well at the moment. She wrote well last weekend. She'd been a bit out of form. But you just, you know, I've got a 30 bit today. I think Barry 13's fine. But, you know, obviously, Jockey's like, it's not easy to do what they're doing, like losing, you know, this much weight to get down to this, you know. It takes a bit of a toll on you. So, you know, but she's had a month to know that she was getting the answer's way. So that, that, that, yeah, correct. But like I even heard Grace Hayes during the week, like she spoke to Jamie last Friday, after she wrote a winner at Cranburg or something like that, she goes, what are you doing? She goes going home to bed, not eating. Like, you know, I don't think sometimes we understand the physical toll that these
he's, you know, talking about to say, you know, bad rides, this bad rides that and I'm not sitting here saying that I don't do that, but sometimes when you look at things in a bit of a different perspective, I think we sometimes forget some of the sacrifices and what they put themselves through. So they're not always going to be riding at 100% all the time. But what scale needs to go up again? And it's a go up to kilos, I think. So wait for age should be 61 kilos for the boys and 59 kilos for the mayors, older horses. Yeah. People are people are bigger than they were in the 60s and the 70s. So we need to adjust a little bit for that. Yeah, 100%. Benji, how do your boys rate profondo's chances in the adjuro in Knox? I think it's, it was meant to say, I'm profoundly I've made a joke about it, not profondo, profondo retired a long time ago, thought was huge last start, T Barry sticks and out the 2000 meters ideal. To be honest, it's Paul and I are race that I will be betting in, but I would not turn you off that horse at all. I had a, I had a little look and yeah, it clearly looks one-helf if not the main winning chance. I may start a myser. What are the odds of marketing the glenny at the glenny one? This is Mr. Well written on Twitter to deactivate his account once autumn glow makes a mess of well written. I'll see myself, but he's blocked me. I don't think we'll see that clash, but we will see she's alibi versus well written. And I know who I'm backing in the golden eagle. Willie Pike, what are the top three races in Australia in your opinions? Top three races in Australia. Yeah, for me, Cox played an Everest, the probably, yeah, top two. I mean, it's hard not to have them open cup in there as third as well. The great any any qualms with that bot. I'll put the grand I'll put the grand on the other. Yeah, Nico will put the 17th. We've got a handicap on day two of the ball in there as well. I'll put I'll put the grand on the other deck. It's just a great way to go in there. Zach Lloyd with a crap book of rides is extremely disappointed to see one of our one of our new South Wales premier race days. Got one ride priced in single figures. Blocwood runs circles around some of these washed up Victorian mugs. So that's a strong opinion. To be honest, you probably would like Zach Lloyd is a very, very good jockey and he's been brood off of a few wall of runners. I don't know. He probably should have a better book than this, but who am I to judge? Ryan Patton Ben, you finally make an honest woman out of live. The best man is between Nico and bot. Who are you choosing and why and Nico thoughts on races? One to three at the ball last week over the jumps to kick off the season. It's just no bot. Outside of this podcast, I actually don't even like these two boys. So. Nate, Nate, Nate, the wood. Nate, the wood be the best man. That's I don't know. I don't know. The truth to that. I might have a pile of hardy kick, but I wouldn't be. Wouldn't be a best man. So many things. Yeah. The jumps. We're actually. It was. We saw a couple. Oh, well, it's not like. It's not like we've been best friends for life. We've started this podcast. And we knew we knew each other from. thin air only a couple of three four years ago. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. 100%. What are we? What was we going about? The jump. The jump. The carbon was very good. Be very hard to beat the novice. The second Hawthorne winner, Madden Erdog. Or go close. What was its name? Yeah. Ballonore. Ballonore, yeah. I haven't looked to see if the nominations are out for Tuesday at Hamilton. But yeah, there'd be a couple that go around Hamilton on Tuesday. And then obviously we backed the first winner, Singh for Peace. He was really good. Great ride from Flash. And the stable rose. You're on the stable rose. Oh, can't zero. That was good. Yeah. So I'm allowed to say, best he's had even here. But yeah, it would go to a green annual obviously. But yeah, I found out a little bit of news last week. I think it was that our new day guns are going to get a terrain. And then it's going it's skipping the briling going straight to the green annual. I don't love that. I dislikes that a lot. So me that if it was my horse, I'd just be running even all the good features. Just go to the brilie. Don't worry about it. I know. Like you can just go on beat Stern or race against Stern for the whole season. Like that's that may as a racing fan. I'd love that. And no end day gun should not be scared of Stern at all because it's probably going to get a little bit of weight off him. And can absolutely beat him. Like to me, I just think they're putting a lot of their eggs in one basket. And it's proven like Sam Sam Shane Jackson's a very good conditioner over racehorse. And if he can if anyone can pull it off and rejuvenate his horse and get a bit of the rest of the season out of him, he can probably do it. But to me, I've just got a bit of a blanket rule that I usually like to pen horses after the grand annual because it just takes so much out of them and they're just not the same horses for the rest of the preparation. So it's going to be very fascinating to see how that all plays out. But it looks like it's going to be a great carnival. Obviously the big meeting that used to be at Paketum two weeks prior to Waterbull is now at Terang. That's in two weeks time after the all-aged and quake day that Sunday. So yeah, two weeks Sunday. So that'll be very good. Important day. But yeah, wait and see what happens. All right. Brad Cox will the outside be better due to the forecast for the will the outside be better due to the forecast for Don Carsta and actually benefit she's out of my compared to Autumn Boy. I don't know on the inside on Chopped Up Ground. I'm going to say yes to this. Yeah, I don't I would rather have been out there in clear in any way rather than beyond the inside. Yeah, the first two lanes. I wasn't into Nick Ashton's podcast. The first couple of lanes could could well be off that round week. Sam Heyfellas not related to this week, but any thoughts on Sepples' poor round last week maybe going into the all-age. But I honestly thought but I honestly never know how to read into what Cliff says. Thanks Sam. Yeah, Cliff is a very glass half empty sort of operator, but it was pretty good. So these Flemington runs had just got me baffled like fucking migratly all over the out of this world. The lighting she's not been the same or since Sepples went absolutely huge in her market. He's been behind two since. Yeah, head scratcher. Some of these. He can't win an all-age like he's not he's not beating all those good horses and all-age. So you may as well. I'd just be. Yeah, well, you can even go to a good wood with him. Yeah, something like that. Or you just reset and just get ready for the spring. Yeah, Mark. Yeah, Chris the Kasta who's having a worse time. Adenoh Brian, US Racing or Italian football. Adenoh Brian, if you do, if people didn't see, he had two two horses taken out of the guineas. He said it was a computer era through staff who accidentally took them out. If he wants to put them back in, he's going to have to pay a late Sepples fee. So drama there, they got taken out of betting markets and all US Racing. I don't know how we didn't touch on this at the start of the podcast, but that jockey who stopped riding that horse deserves a very, very long ban. And Italian football, when I woke up on April 1, yesterday, which is April, fulls day, when I saw that the Italians hadn't qualified for the World Cup for the third year running, third World Cup running. So that's 12, one every four years. I thought it was an absolute April, fulls gag, but no, somehow Italy, 48, 10 competition haven't found their way yet again, beaten by some team. I forgot who it was. Anyway, they lost in penalties. Rowan Greger got to be Ramick Koddy this week. Too good to pass up. Fuck, we forgot to do this. Just a quick 401 TJ Smith, Tentaurus, Jimmy overpassed Briasa. You probably don't want Briasa. Race, race eight, she's a one out. Yeah, I'll go she's a one out. Race nine, green spaces, storm leopard. I want the two ruffies in, deal them fast one step closer. Oh, you got to take observer as well. Probably take observer. Yeah. And in the last I want in Karuna, I could take Aglewood as well. If you get to the last, you can always have some savers anyway. Koddy's going to pay much if that's three other favourites win. Aussie punting batlers, huge overs in the group ones. Aussie punting batlers always tell me that there's huge overs, but they never give me a tip. Victor Elkaraz, why are they barely international any international's recently? It's probably because of the world's fast. It's very hard to get you out. The world's going to get you. And it's just so much easier to go halfway to Hong Kong or somewhere else getting to Australia. Getting to Australia with this war that's going on is an easy. Eddie says his favourite championship's memory would be Shitarke was third T.J. and Winx's final race. Two of the best. Just a couple of Instagram questions. There's only six of these. Aiden T.J. Smith sorts will brass to get a good steer and settle in the one one.
10 Taurus for give last start. Yes, 10 Taurus was a for give last start. Briasa either settles in the one one or if Jolly star wants to push up he ends up three wide no cover so that could be detrimental to his chances if that does happen. Nikki Tyrell, but getting you back involved here, what's bots thoughts on 10 Taurus and where do you guys think he will potentially map? Be last defense mate. I think he's the best horse in Australia. So I mean, oh, sorry, best sprinter is right there should say, but um, Autumn glow the best horse in Australia happily to say no. Yeah, for sure. I mean, that's on less that you can't dispute that. I mean, I'm less he just absolutely bolts in. But for whatever reason, people, people put middle distance horses above, I mean, because like they're cool. Or the ratings courses are cool. Or horses, but, but um, the ratings put them up there as well. It's not not my fridge. Because the ratings it's just, it's just that you know, the middle distance horses are cooler than sprinters. But people, people like middle distance horses more than what they like sprinters, but we're very good at sprinters and now. That's a lot of water. Does does the band widen for middle distance horses to run bigger numbers like your ombudsman's, your clan against? Is that why they rated so high? What does it mean because there's more? What because they run further that there's more margins between them? Yeah, the margins are usually bigger than sprinting races. And I just feel like people are smart enough to figure that out and like a count for that like it's like, you know, fomting, of course, it's completely. It's open. There's no such thing as a. Yeah, there's no such thing as a length really like it's. A length is, is doesn't has nothing to do with another length. If that makes sense, like every length is different. So it'd be, we'd be no chances in obviously for a cost flight. You'll go to no chance in the world. You'll go to the biggest cup. I don't think, I don't think he runs 2400 meters usually. They keep him to 10,000. I don't know what I think. Yeah, you want the debauchter for over 18. He's more speed than clan against more than one and a half. I think we're massive, massive chance of seeing Kalandriga and Australia. We are like a huge chance. I think that'd be a serious race. Let's say, let's say Paul Jenny goes to the QE next week. Autumn Glow wins by four lengths. She posts away from 110 or 109. Let's just say, let's just say fast run 2000 meter race. Is there any world that she starts favorite over the clan again on Cox plate day? If he comes, no, no, no, no price would you have a clan again, but in a high hypothetical. So say Benz right. Autumn Glow comes out wins by three or four head on her chest, like just Wings like performance next week. Queen Elizabeth absolutely laps up to the end. She she comes here after winning it and McCoy would ever in her turn. Will stakes head on her chest. She's remained unbeaten. She's going to be what like 14 from 14 or something. They'll, but they'll both start with a two next year and I would say. Is it, is it, it's not out of the rounds that they're both like $2.3 dollars and ever the next best is like $21. I don't even think they'd be $3. I think they'd both be like inside 250. Yeah. So we're talking in a world that'd be like a third deal. Yes, like 15, 20 to one third favorite sort of. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Toss Harry Dunlop does observer deserve to be in the podcast intro. No, he's. Yes. I'll probably. I'll tell you where to get up. I need to get guest house in there though. Toss and hammering me for it that I haven't put him in. Yeah, you do. So someone has to go. I was going. We'll say this. If it's there, if observer gets beaten in the Darby on Saturday, I think guest house replaces him. No, because that's the deal. This is like, observe is like he's pretty rich. He's getting. I can't get rid of our fucking mascot. Is he going to have back to back. Scott is going to have to get back to back seven on the form. God. None of us are tipping him on Saturday by the way. Who cares? Oh, I'll say. I want to follow around with it. But if you get rid of observer off the fucking podcast intro, you get rid of me. I'm not fucking. Oh, I tried my comedy. Next week. Well, yeah, good. Good. Well, lose like 15% of our nerdy listeners. I can't do that. Toss Hunter. Here we go. Speaking of the devil, Toss and Hunter. If observer off and throw guesty into the intro, you stinky bitches. There you go. Straight from the owners, male. Dame Winley, what is the go to Easter egg and how far 10 towers? Crunchy Easter egg. Like the like the solid crunchy or like the shell crunchy. Well, this is the chocolate with crunchy bit in it. Just the small little legs. Yeah. Yeah, they're fun. I'll do. I like the caramel ones. Yeah, good. Yeah. Try not to have too really at the moment. But I'm a bit of a. Yeah, Nico is my body. My temple. Yeah. That's exactly what if you get it, if you're going to spend 300 calories on something, though, make it a biscoff hot cross bum or a caramel hot cross bum. I'm just holding myself together because I've got like in like a month's time. I'm going to absolutely obliterate my body for four days in a row. So I'm just trying to just hold it. I'm going to gather around next week. So we'll gather around a then a couple of weeks to freshen myself back up again. That's right. I'm eating shading. What a. Ishach Pachiyah. What do I live by? There's my goal to back up anything he says in terms of his selections. Other than it'll be a sitting steer job. Can we say that? Ishach Pachiyah. Well, you want his phone number and address as well. Yeah. No, I was just wondering which who was it said? I didn't quite hear it through the. That's where the headphones are. Well, he's just a Nico. He's Nico Basha. He's also got another question. What were allayanas and autumn's glows, grand finals, baby spring? I mean, if allayanas is in the cold, if allayanas is in the core field cup, after winning a tanker and a derby and autumn glows isn't a cocks play. If she wins the QE, then that was probably something that we didn't touch off of the top. That would too. There will be one fantastic races last week. They really were autumn. Allayana post the one at six weight for a rating. That's a huge new. I think the bottom just reminded a few people that regardless of what he's formed is overseas. He's a very, very good also in Australia. Still one of the best. Absolute 12 out of 10 and it was nearly perfect. He did get the speed wobbles late. That's the only thing in the last 200s. That was a great ride from Tom. If he waited, it was going to go Allayana for cruises up and it turned a foot beat him. It was a great ride. I think if he didn't. If the ball on it wasn't wayward in the last 200 metres, the margin would have been tighter. But the finishing speed of Allayana was like, he was, she was finishing over the top of him. So she really ripped it and dug in. Pindery is back. Another scoop. You log into racing Australia. You search up Allayana's name. Still active. I think if he wasn't going to the QE, Chris would have said she's spelling by now. I think she's going to go. It's a great race. Great race. Autumn Glow, Allayana, De Boilana. And what's your name? So Adelius. So there you go. All right. Let's wrap it up there. Any formal thoughts, boys? No. Nico, what are you smoking about, mate? I love the reading stuff. All right. You're a beauty. Good luck this weekend, Pindery. Aaron, half podcasts. Anyway, it was good racing and that was plenty of the chat about. So have a safe and happy long Easter weekend. And please don't go anything stupid. Cheers. [Music] [Music]
