Speaker 1shall we pray we are so privileged father to sit under your feet and to receive from you we honor your presence blessed holy spirit and we open up to your teaching ministry your revealing ministry we receive from you opening of eyes our eyes are flooded our hearts are flooded with light and we receive we receive truth light divine oracles thank you father and we are never the same we are transformed thank you holy ghost for doing a quick work amongst us to the praise of your most holy name in jesus name the son of the living god amen hallelujah so this is a special Easter and we are and it's a time to celebrate our lord jesus christ it's it's a special moment to um commemorate what our lord jesus did and the greatest event that ever happened in all of time and eternity and the incarnation jesus is coming to us and the cross will be celebrated throughout all eternity in all the ages of the ages endless ages you know in heaven there's only one man-made thing in heaven and that will never be undone and that's at the scars of jesus his very wounds are still in heaven and in all of eternity he will still be shown as his wounds which are indelible signs of the work he came to do on earth hallelujah you should so appreciate so meditate long on what jesus did that whenever it is mentioned your heart jumps up that should be your central focus that is all and i love the subject we are dealing with today so we're going to look at what jesus did to the cross and we're going to look at the blood of the cross the blood and the cross god's dual solution to the human condition the truth is that every problem of humankind has already been solved and settled every need was settled on the cross it depends on how you see it but there was some nothing jesus did not redeem when he said it is finished finished truly it is finished it should be a lie if jesus you say it is finished and it is not finished when he said it is finished it was truly finished so um the redemption is an all all-around redemption it's a complete package beginning with our work with god to everything so there was no problem the cross had and the blood didn't solve yeah if we are not walking as we are supposed to walk as to whether with god or us too the peace is giving us or the fruits or the benefits of redemption if we are we are not working fully in them it means we are actually deficient of a certain revelation somewhere and god will fill you up today yeah hallelujah in fact you should be living and working as a an advertisement of the finished work of christ your face should show your smile must show your joy must show your peace must show sometimes you go to work and we can't tell whether jesus really died because you have become a poor advertisement of the finished work of christ your life isn't a famine you know when the bible says that jesus said and ye shall be witnesses be now he didn't say ye shall do witnessing which is also important because he said we are going to preach to all nations but in acts 1 8 he said ye shall be the word in the greek is not imperative in the imperative tense it's an indicative tense you you will be you you will be a living witness not that you say or you do but you will be that means your life will become a living witness yeah wherever you are you your radiant face unveils the riches of the son of god and who he is yeah in fact many people have died and gone to heaven and they wish they are on earth although they are happy they are in heaven you know you shouldn't be in heaven and it's like you could have expressed jesus better to your world yeah this is our time this is our opportunity i'm telling you we have all of eternity to celebrate the victory but we have few hours before sunset that was said by emma wilson chemical we have all of eternity to celebrate the victories but we have we have few hours before sunset so this is your day this is your time to lay hold on everything jesus ever gave us who he is and what he did that should be our grand focus and walk in the riches of it in the joy of it hallelujah praise god why are you walking in fears in worries anxieties you are walking in a kind of mindedness a kind of mindset that is totally away from what scripture has prescribed it shouldn't be so it shouldn't be so you can manifest the fruit of redemption as it is in full measure as jesus has ordained for you praise god hallelujah so the cross solved every issue of humankind everything now in leviticus 1 verse 11 the lord gave an instruction shall we see leviticus 1 verse 11. and he shall kill it that's a bent offering on the side of the altar northward before the lord and the priest aaron sounds shall sprinkle his blood to run about upon the altar very important now he said that when with the bent offering there were five major offerings the main offering the first one was called the bent offering and all of this offering speaks of who jesus is and god gave an instruction that when they were killing the sacrifice you see if it is a of the head of the flock if they were killing it in a temple god even determined where it should be killed he said it should be killed at the north side of the altar can you imagine so if this is the author of sacrifice you don't sacrifice it anyway you can't sacrifice the animal on the east of the altar or the west of the altar or the south of the altar he even specified where the animal should be killed and it should be killed on the nothing part of the altar amazing god said north so if you kill it at the south you have defied the sacrifice it should be at the north why and all of these things be speaks they are prophetic for shadow for shadowment typical semblance they all pointed to our lord jesus christ praise god no wonder jesus when he died on calvary calvary is situated at the northern part of jerusalem golgotha is actually at the northern of jerusalem the northern part of jerusalem that's where golgotha is or calvary is but god said their sacrifice must be killed at the north side of the altar the reason is because it's so amazing that in the bible israel's enemies were all from the north because in the bible the north also signifies the source of evil the source of evil that in jeremiah 1 verse 14 out of the north evil shall break out upon all the inhabitants of the land so you'll find a lot of scriptures speaking of evil coming out of the north a lot of scriptures like jeremiah 1 14 the lord said said unto me, out of the north an evil shall break forth. Now, Israel's enemies were in the north. Most of them were in the north. Like the Canaanites were in the north of Israel. The Amorites. The Hivites. The Hittites. The Jebusites. The Perizzites. The Assyrians. The Babylonians. Israel's enemies were at the north. Most of the oppression came from the north. Because the north actually speaks of evil. The source of evil. So God said, when an animal is being killed, kill it at the north. Symbolically, you know why Jesus had to die at the north? Because the north is the source of evil. It's the place where your enemies are. The source of your enemies. The source of evil. So the very place where your enemies are sourced from, that is the same place Jesus died. To handle, to end all evils. That will come against you. The very place where your evil is sourced from is the very state or place where Jesus died. To terminate it and to mark an end in your life. For those who believe. Praise God. So all the enemies harassing your life, whether the enemies are virus enemies, or the virus. Or bacteria, or any other thing. Or someone threatening your life. Jesus finished it all. He died at the north. The very source of evil. Where your enemies can prevail against you. He died to end it. Praise God. That's what the cross did. And he says the blood, the same verse, Leviticus 1.11, shall be sprinkled right about the altar. Praise God. Now, the cross is very important. You know that Jesus could have shed his blood without dying on the cross. But it was necessary for him to die on the cross. After all, he shed his blood in different places even before his death on the cross. So why was it necessary for Jesus to die on the cross? Why was it necessary for Jesus to die on the cross? Because in Israel, among the Jews, their capital punishment was not even crucifixion. Crucifixion was a capital punishment of the Romans, not the Jews. Among the Jews, their capital punishment was stoning. So Jesus could have been stoned to death because that was their capital punishment. When the high priest asked Jesus, I adjoin you, I adjoin you by the Most High. Tell me if you are the Son of God. And Jesus said, Hereafter ye shall see the Son of Man. He says, tell me if you are the Son of God. Now Jesus loved the title, the Son of Man. He said, Hereafter ye shall see the Son of Man sitting on the right hand of power. The high priest reined his garment and said, He has blasphemed. What further witnesses do we need again? So actually they knew he had blasphemed. So they could have stoned him. But because they wanted to make his death a political claim, it's a whole message all together, they took him to Pilate. So Jesus could have been stoned. But the Bible said it was necessary for Jesus to be on the cross. And that was prophesied a thousand years by David in Psalm 22. A thousand years before it came to pass. In fact, by the time David prophesied about the crucifixion, nobody had ever yet died on the cross. The cross was invented by the Phoenicians. And the first person to ever die on the cross was around 497 B.C. Almost 500 years after David's prophecy. But a thousand years after his prophecy, Jesus died on the cross. They pierced my hands and my feet. It was necessary for our Lord to die on the cross for some reasons. Very important reasons. The Bible says in Galatians 3 verse 13 that Christ has redeemed us from the curse of sin. The curse of the law. Being made a curse for us. As it is written, curse is every man that hanged upon the tree. So it was necessary for Jesus to be our curse. He had to hang on a tree. Not be stoned with stones. Because in Deuteronomy, when you have broken all the laws, the height of the punishment is that you will be hanged on a tree. That was it. So now, because we, had broken the law of God. Yeah. Officially and unofficially. Jesus took our place and he was hanged on a tree to become a curse. Can you imagine that the blesser who is the blessing became, not that he was cursed, he was the curse. It is worthy of meditation. He became a curse. The God-man became a curse. What a shock. He became a curse. That was one reason why he had to die on a cross and not by stoning. Because to be hanged on a tree actually is a curse. Because you were the curse and he took your place. So that you would never be cursed. Why are you still celebrating curses? It took God Almighty, the one who opposed all things by the word of his power, the one who is the brightness of his glory and the express image of his person, the one who is the impress of God's substance, the character. It took him, the very God of very God, to become a curse. And you still believe you're under a curse? Blessed is she that believeth. If you only believe there shall be a performance of those things which were spoken by the Lord. Yeah. Under the Lord there were, you know, Deuteronomy, Deuteronomy 28 speaks of 54 curses. 54 curses. More than 30 of the curses addresses poverty. And the rest actually addresses sicknesses and diseases. Yeah. So in primary sense, these two areas are the areas of the curse. Though there are other areas. Yeah. Christ has redeemed us. Hallelujah. So Jesus was killed on the north. to terminate evil from entering my life so I can be free from the manipulation of evil in my life. The very place where evil is sourced from is where he died for my place. So evil cannot penetrate my life. That's how to believe the word of God. Take it literal. Pray it, confess it. As pastor was saying, when you hear such things, you go home. If you don't take time, Satan's greatest work is on Mondays. You know why? Because the power of the sower, the Bible says when you hear the word, quickly, not even Monday, Sunday afternoon, he comes to snatch the thief cometh not but for to steal. What does he steal? The word. The word. The word. So, without you taking, look, every Sunday, whatever pastor teaches, you know what you have to do. It is your meditations the whole week. Take the scriptures, pick them one by one, and be slow with it. And meditate upon it. You know how to practicalize the word. It says, this book of the Lord shall not depart out of your mouth, but thou shalt meditate, what? Therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do all that is written therein. The Bible didn't say, meditate and observe. It says, if you meditate, you will observe. You will observe. Yeah, so, the word is in your head. You must hit it down some inches downward into your heart through meditation. And when it settles in, the manifestation will come. Hallelujah. The Bible says, the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself. The earth bringeth forth fruit of herself. Mark 4, 28. Fruit of herself. Herself is automatous. Where you get the word automatically. Herself. When the word is sown, the fruit will come automatically. Praise God. Especially my test concerning what Jesus has done is very primary. Yeah. The cross is so powerful. The cross and his blood gives us the authority to be free from the sentence or the curse that came at the dawn of creation when man sinned against God. When you understand the cross and the blood on the wings of revelation, you can be immune to that decay that affects all of creation. You can walk in a realm of glory and power. Praise God. So he says that the blood in Leviticus 1.11 is sprinkled all around the altar. Leviticus 1.11. His blood ran about the altar. You know what it means. In the Bible, the altar speaks of God's claim of justice. God's demands of justice. You know what God demands? The wages of sin is death. So God demands that when sin has come in, death is the payment for sin. You understand? So the cross speaks of, sorry, the altar actually points to the cross. That is God's demand. The cross is God's justice paying ransom to God's love. Now, you see, God is loving, yet God is just. So, he demanded the blood should be sprinkled around, run about the altar. That means the blood can meet all, run about means it can meet all of God's claim of justice. All of God's claim of justice. For you to be saved, a price must be paid. For you to be healed, a price must be paid. For you to enjoy peace, a price must be paid. For you to enjoy prosperity, a price must be paid. For you to enjoy all the benefits and all that you, and that's the price Jesus paid with his blood. That was the demands of justice. Infinite justice demanded blood as a payment for all that we have done. If we shall ever enjoy peace and joy and tranquility and prosperity. And the blood was sprinkled all around to imply that every demand or every claim justice demanded, the blood satisfied it all. So what I'm saying is that the cross and the blood met all of human's need. Yeah. Have you forgotten that most of the times in the Old Testament, the blood had to be sprinkled seven times? Seven times. Seven times. And Jesus also shed his blood in seven places. Seven. Yeah. The first place he shed his blood was in his sweat. In his sweat. We'll come back to that later. He shed his blood in his sweat. The redeeming quality of his blood. To redeem us from stress. That was the first place. In the end, he also shed his blood in his face. The Bible says they slapped him with the palm of their hands. That the Greek actually says they smote him with rot. With rod or rot on his face. So that the Bible says his visage was so marred more than any man and his form than the sons of men. He was disfigured. The third place he shed his blood was his body. The scourging. He was whipped by his stripes. We are healed. Now his face, he shed blood on his face. He was disfigured so that the image of God that was marred in us might be restored. Our dignity and glory might be restored. And in his body, the body bruises by his stripes. He shed his blood. We are healed. In Isaiah 50 verse 6 I gave my back to the smiters and my cheek to them that plucked off the hair. That's his beard. He shed blood. They pulled his beard out. So that every weakness would be converted to strengthen us. Then with the crown of thorns they pressed it deeply into his scalp. The crown of thorns. So he shed his blood. When they pressed the crown of thorns into his scalp around his body, his brow, to deliver us from every kind of evil thoughts. Thoughts of worry and anxieties and curse and sinful thoughts that oppresses us. All of these thoughts evil spirits uses against us and thoughts of unworthiness and thoughts of lust and every kind of illegal thoughts that tries to imprison us. Jesus redeemed us from it. Praise God. Yeah. Then he shed his blood in his heart. Hands and feet. There. His feet. He shed his blood for our work with God. His hands for our work for God. He shed his blood by his side. You see. So that we're walking in intimacy with God. But his blood blood and water flowed from his side because of a raptured heart. We call it broken heart. If your heart has been broken by your beloved Jesus has a better person for you. The redemption also included this part. Amen. Every loss every broken heart every disappointment every cold heart we've had Jesus actually took it for you. And he has a remedy for your heart. To be healed and to be free. Praise God. So the blood and the cross settles everything. Settles everything. The blood met all of God's claims of justice. Your peace has been has been bought. Your protection has been bought. He purchased everything for you. Praise God. Now back to the beginning. You will agree with me that in Eden's paradise man was enjoying himself before the fall. The lion and the lamb gambled together in Eden's paradise. There was no fight between the lion and the lamb. They were in a realm of perfect peace. Until man came in it was a sign of high treason. When man rebelled against his creator it's amazing that creation also rebelled against him. Now when man rebelled against God creation also rebelled against man because creation is subject to man. So when man rebelled against his creator creation rebelled against man. So much that even tiny tiny items on sin staffs such as viruses and germs even rebels against man. Even mosquitoes rebels against man. I'm telling you. The smallest insect man is was made a governor of the earth. But all of these on sin little little insects are even rebelling against us. Because man rebelled against his creator. Hallelujah. You see when God wanted the tree he spoke to the earth and the tree came. When God wanted fishes he spoke to the waters and the fishes came. When God wanted birds he spoke to the air. Amazing. But when God wanted man he spoke to himself. Yeah. That shows our souls. He spoke to himself. Almost like there was a conference of the Godhead to plan for our coming. So God said let us make man. There was a conference of the Godhead before our coming to discuss our coming. Now apart from the earth the tree is dead. Is that not so? Apart from the waters the fish is dead. Even so apart from God man is dead. So man actually died in Eden. So that was the beginning of the human condition in a negative sense. The very first thing that prevailed over man was spiritual death. The dominion of spiritual death over man. When we say man died it doesn't mean man was physically dead although that came later. But man was dead first of all within his spirit. When we say someone is spiritually dead in fact every unbeliever you see around is spiritually dead. It doesn't mean they don't have spirit. They have. But now you can see someone who is dumb who can't speak but the person has mouth. In fact the person has lungs he has mouth. Only to open his mouth when you see him. And you realize that he can't speak. Yeah. Because his vocal cords are impaired. Yeah. So unbelievers have spirit alright but their spirits have lost a kind of spiritual instinct when it comes to God. Their spirits are dead to God. So death is a cessation of communication. So the cessation of communication is between his spirit and God's spirit. Not only his spirit and God's spirit but also his spirit and his body. He could no longer communicate life from his spirit to his body. And between he and God there was a problem. Death plagued the fair abode of the innocent. They placed their new peace and joy. Death took over. When we get to heaven and we interview Adam Adam will tell us the kind of the kind of pain and sorrow what they experienced because they they saw what it meant in paradise before the fall and they experienced we were born into the fall until we are born again. Man without God man is trying to live without God. Man without God that's the beginning - Yeah. problems. Man without God. God is all you need to have all your needs met. God is a source of life. Sometimes I wonder why people don't want to just get closer to God. There are some people who think that they need Jesus for their spiritual life. Apart from that, when it comes to their economic life, financial life, material gains and their well-being, they have to get it from the world. But when it comes to their going to heaven, they need Jesus to make it to heaven. Now, this Jesus is a complete package. I'm telling you. He is your all-sufficient panoply. There is nothing lacking. Yeah. He gives you more than you can carry. Yeah. The only thing is that you have to major and major and minor and minor. If Jesus is your focus, everything you don't read the Bible to prosper. You read the Bible to find Jesus. And when you find Jesus, you find yourself. And once you find Jesus, prosperity chases you and follows after you. And you're never distracted because you still keep the main thing, the main thing. Nothing can be compared to Jesus. Once you've seen him and his glory, that is all. Many have not seen Jesus to be practical in their lives. But Jesus is very. Just meditate enough. Jesus is a play couple. Once revelation hits you, you'll be so sad to miss reading the Bible a day. And you will even feel sorry for the days you've missed reading the Bible. Now, yeah. That is what will happen if we get to heaven. You go like, wow. Why did I sleep away my spiritual life? But that's what happens any time you get to another height of revelation. You go like, ah. I've wasted the time. I wish I spent more time. May revelation arrest you. Yeah. So that was the issue. Spiritual death. Now, when Adam sinned, the first thing God did, was for God to preach the gospel to Adam. Now, God preached the gospel to Adam in a non-verbal act. The gospel he preached to Adam was formulated in an act. What did God do? God took an animal and performed the first blood sacrifice. And God killed the animal. God was the first person to shed blood. Adam mistakenly covered himself with aprons. In the Hebrew, he was half covered. And God himself took an animal, killed the animal, preaching to Adam in a non-verbal act that the guilty sinner has no place in his presence except by a bleeding sacrifice. So God himself did the first sacrifice to teach man what sacrifice is. Because far before Moses, the fathers and the patriarchs were already sacrificing. Because God taught Adam what it means to sacrifice. So after the blood was shed, God took the skin, of the animal, to clothe Adam. That the covering of man cannot come from himself, and from his works, and from his labor, and from what he earns, from the fruit of the field. It can come from God's own provision. Because it was God himself that provided the animal for his covering, and for his cleansing. So our covering, our righteousness, can only come from God. So God preached to Adam, and that was the way out. But mostly, the blood of Jesus, blessed be God. Hebrews 9 verse 22 says, and without the shedding of blood, there is no remission of sins. There is no remission of sins. There is shedding of blood. Now remission is the word aphesis in the Greek, which actually means to permanently dismiss, and to forfeit your rights in bringing it up again. You know, the blood of Jesus is not a human blood. It defies time and space. It is eternal. It is God's blood. So, just one drop cleanses all our sins. Hallelujah. Yeah. The Bible says, unto him who has loved us, and washed away our sins in his own blood, and has made us priests and kings unto our God. Revelation 1 verse 5 and 6. So, he has washed our sins in his own blood. That's Jesus. That's Jesus. That's the blood. The Bible says in Romans 5 verse 9 that, being justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. The blood. So, the blood of Jesus dealt with our sins. You know, man, this whole mystery, when man sinned, man became God's enemy. Actually, God, man was an enemy of God. God was not an enemy of man. That is it. Because you see, even after man fell, that was the beginning of God's quest after man. God's pursuit for man. It was God, who walked in the garden in the cool of the day to look for man. It was God who had to allow the cherubims to drive man from Eden. Lest if man eats of the tree of life, man would have been like a living demon. Irredeemable. Cannot be redeemed because man cannot die. After redemption, death is our prophet. After the fall, death becomes our prophet. Now, if Adam had eaten the tree of life, after eating the tree of life, the knowledge of good and evil, the Bible says he would have lived forever. Like a demon. Like demons who cannot, in his state without dying, knowing both good and evil. It would have been chaotic on earth. Hitler would still have been alive. Hitler would have been alive. Hmm. Herod would have been alive. Nero would have been alive. Stalin would have been alive. Osama bin Laden would have been alive. Ha, ha, ha, ha. Just imagine how the earth would have become. After redemption, death, we've already overcome death. Believers only sleep, and the sleep for the believer is painless because death has lost its sting. You think they are in pain, they are not in pain. There's no more sting. Death has no more sting for the believer who dies in Christ. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. So it was God who pursued, even after Cain had sinned, it was God who pursued Cain. So the Bible says, and having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things to himself, to reconcile, I say, whether there be things in heaven or on earth, and ye who were sometimes alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works. Colossians 1, 20 to 21. The Bible says, enemies, so we're not actual enemies of God. We're enemies in our mind. You see, God always wanted us, but we're enemies in our mind. And that's what happens. That is why you can be a believer and still have the enmity in your mind because your mind is still renewed although your spirit is reborn. So you go like, God is angry with me. God is angry with me. God has something against me. God is not happy with me because I have not done this and I have not done that and I have not done that. So God is not pleased with me. Or I did something wrong and God is still holding that thing against me. So if you enlist works, you always fall short and be wanton. So because God is of a high standard, you always see yourself beneath his standard. And the enmity can be your mind. And it can be a bridge between you and him. Until your mind is renewed by God's word, you will walk in guilt, condemnation, for even the good things you do. Do you know that the devil can accuse you for not reading five chapters a day? You read a chapter a day and he will accuse you. You are a pastor. Even members are reading ten chapters. Members are reading five chapters. You are a pastor, couldn't even read one chapter. You can become guilty for that. Yeah. You can become guilty for not reading your Bible because something happened in the day. Never feel guilty. Guilt is always wrong. Guilt is always an insult to your benefactor. Guilt is serious unbelief. If you have not read the Bible, instead of becoming guilty, naturally, if you have not eaten, you become guilty. If you are hungry, if you have not eaten, you feel hungry and you go for the food. If you have not read the Bible, don't feel guilty, feel hungry and go for the food, go for the word instead of feeling guilty. because guilt will take you way further from the Bible. Enemies in our minds. Your mind must be renewed because there's no enmity between you and Jesus, you and God. Jesus is the measure of your acceptance before God. In the New Testament, you are accepted just as Jesus is accepted. I say, hey, so are we in this world. Yeah. That is why you need to find who Jesus is because if you find him, you find yourself. If you find what he has, you find what you have because we are joint heirs with him. Yeah. Now, blessed be Jesus. His blood washed our sins and you have to be free from it. Yeah. The Bible says in Isaiah 40, comfort ye, comfort ye my people. Speak ye comfortably. I came to speak comfortably to you and cry unto her that her warfare is over. That she has received double payment for her sins. Isaiah 40. She has received double payment for her sins. Do you know that this is a, this verse in Isaiah 40 is messianic and prophetic. That when Jesus died, he paid double for your sins. You see, what Jesus did. In the Old Testament, there was something called the law of. Restitution. Under the trespass offering where if you steal someone's sheep and you are caught, you have to restore not one sheep but four sheep. If you steal one bull, you have to restore five. So the greater the loss, the higher the restoration. But the Bible doesn't even call it restoration. The Bible calls it restitution because restitution is restoration with compensation. So Jesus, when he died, his death gave God and us restitution. So God became a gainer through the death of Jesus. Listen, if Adam had not fallen, God wouldn't have gained as much as when Adam fell and Christ came. Now that Christ has come, God has gained far more than if, now God has gained far more than what he would have gained if Adam had not fallen. What a God. Because of the price involved, his son. That is why when we read the book of Romans, we see the words, much more than, much more, much more, much more, much more. Comparing Christ and Adam. Comparing our present state with our former state. Much more, much more. The Greek actually says, innumerable, uncounted differences. You can't compare. So Jesus paid double according to Isaiah 40 for your sins. So the blood has redeemed us from our sins. So the barrier between we and God is taken away. That is why the blood was sprinkled on the veil. There was a thick veil separating the holy place and the holies of holies. And when Jesus died, it was rained from top to bottom. That veil was huge. Joseph, it took 300 priests to move the veil. It was 60 feet high. And the veil spilled out. You can't come in. You can't enter. You are not allowed. But the blood was sprinkled seven times on the veil. Seven times. And when Jesus died, it was rained, not from bottom to top, but from top to bottom. To imply that it wasn't man who tore it, but God himself that tore it. And when it was torn, I'm telling you that it was not man who tore it. It was man who tore it. It was God. God came out from the holies of holies and came to welcome us, his children. He says, come home. He said, come home. Come home. Came out to welcome us home. Having therefore brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and a living way which he has consecrated for us. Through the flesh, that is to say, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh. So, in whom we have boldness, koramandata. And actually, with confidence, by the faith of him. The word boldness means all outspokenness, bluntness, frankness. That's how you speak to God in intimacy. He's your father. He's your father. The blood of Jesus washed away your sins. In fact, if you were owing, you know how much you were owing God? I have a glimpse of it in Matthew chapter 18. The parable Jesus gave. I don't know whether it was even a parable, because Jesus said a certain man. So, normally, he's quoting from history. So, he says the guy owed his master 10,000 talents. He couldn't pay. The master was going to sell him and his wife and his children. And that was not even enough to pay for the 10,000 talents. Aha. But he begged and the master forgave him. Do you know how long it took for a worker to earn one talent? Yeah. In Jesus' day, it took 16 working years to earn a salary that equated one talent. Praise God. Actually, 10,000 talents is actually, you need 160,000 years of daily work, daily wage to pay for 10,000 talents. 160,000. Now, from Adam to Christ is 4,000 years. From Christ to us is 2,000. If you add the millennium, it's 7,000. It's not even up to you. Aha. That means Christ forgave your sins for your lifetime. He overpaid double for your sins. It's double. Double. Double. The payment was rich. That is why he says, your sins and iniquities, will I remember them again? No more. And that one is absolute unqualified negative. It's a negative double assertion in the Greek. Who may? Never, ever. Because of the preciousness of the blood, it has paid. It has paid for it. It has paid. So, there is therefore now no, the Greek says, there is therefore now not one condemnation against those who are in Christ Jesus. Yeah. We are not only forgiving. We have, the blood also justified us. Romans 5 verse 9. We have been justified. Much more than that. We have been now. See, the word now is in the present tense. Being now justified. It's amazing what Jesus has done. Now, if you go deeper, you will watch God endlessly. Because when the Bible says justified, sometimes it is used in the aorist tense, in the past tense. Sometimes it is used in the present tense, present continuous tense. And sometimes it is used in the perfect tense. Once and for all justification, that cannot be repeated. With permanent resolution. We are justified. You know what it means to be justified? In the 1950s, the Christians coined a certain term. Just as if. Just if. Justify. Just as if I have never sinned. That's what they said. Justify. That is too much to contemplate. Because to be justified means you are a righteous man who has never sinned. Yeah. There is a difference between to be forgiven. Forgiving means you are guilty and you've received a pardon. But justified means you came to the court. You've done nothing. You are acquitted. Yeah. How can God say that to us? You are thinking of you, you, you, you. It can't be true. It can't be true because of the price that was involved. It is greater than anything. Yeah. So you concentrate on the price and it will transform you forever. I have realized that the deeper people know they are forgiven, the better they can be forgiven. The deeper people know they are forgiven and work with God. Yeah. Because in the Bible, the Bible says they came to preach deliverance to the captives. No. It's the word aphesis to the captives. The word for deliverance in the New Testament is the same word for forgiveness. Yeah. Every sin you know you are truly forgiving, you have been delivered from its power to dominate you. Praise God. But you see, we have experienced the benefits not just the blood but also of the cross in salvation. Now, there is what the blood did and there is what the cross did. The blood dealt with our sins but the cross dealt with our sin. Sin is singular. Sins are plural. Let me give an example. If the that we are going to destroy every alcoholic bottle. We are going from house to house. Any one of them, anything alcoholic, we are going to destroy, whether it is a bottle or anything, we are going to destroy each of them and burn them. Okay, that can be done. And we purge every home from anything alcoholic. But if the factory that produces the alcohol is still producing it, over time, you know what will happen? The nature will be filled with alcohol again. So in order to stop it, we have to deal with the bottles in town, in every house, and also deal with the factory. Sun is our nature. That's the factory that produces the suns. The sun nature cannot be washed. It's like an attempt to wash clay. You can't wash clay because in essence and in substance, the thing is evil. So we are good for nothing. So the flesh had to be crucified. But the sins we've committed had to be cleansed and washed away. So as a sinner, I had to die because I was good for nothing. Actually, we're good for. The sin that we had inherited, there was nothing to be done about it. We had to die. And God didn't want to kill us. So he made us die in Christ, in Christ's death. Such a wonder. The way we died in Adam, he used the same way for us, so as that we can also die in Christ in a positive sense, be the last Adam. So in Adam, we all sinned, though we're not born. So in Christ, we all died, though we're not born. So it has happened. On the cross, we died, so the cross actually crucified our old man. Old man. Old man. I understand that a lot of Christians think they still have the old man. You don't have any old man. You don't have the old man. You have the flesh and you have the mind, but you don't have the old man. The flesh is different from the old man. Sometimes people actually put them together, but the flesh and the old man, they are different. So the fact that you feel, the kind of feelings that are negative that you experience doesn't mean you have the old man. Praise God. All believers have the old man. You have the new man. That you are born again, the Bible speaks of your spirit. Your mind and your flesh are your own redeemed part. But you see, the old man, you are spirit, soul and body, is that not so? But that spirit, when you receive Christ, what Christ did in history becomes your present experience, but that experience is applied to your spirit. That you died with Christ has to do with your spirit. Instant experience when you get born again. So the old man actually has to do with your spirit. Your own regenerated spirit. Your old man. But the old man actually colonized the mind and the flesh. And it died, but it left its deposit strongholds and habits in the mind and in the flesh. So that it's like a computer. When you program it some way, the way you've programmed it, that's how it functions until it is reprogrammed. The mind has been programmed by the old man before it died. So with the new man, until the new man reprograms the mind through the word, it will function in a negative way because that's how it has been programmed. So you are a believer in the spirit living as an unbeliever outwardly. Whatever gains the mind gains the whole being. Your mind is powerful. That is why the mind must be consistently renewed with the word of God and your feelings. Those negative feelings are not the real you. It's not you. They're really you. You are the new man born of God. Hallelujah. Blessed be God, we have been restored to such high, higher than Adam. You see, we fell from Adam's, Adam was our standard. Now we are not restored to Eden. We are co-stead with Christ and as raised, as raised, as up together. We fell from Eden but you know where redemption, the much more has taken us further and has raised us up together and made us, the Greeks say, an enthroned us together. We are co-seated in his executive authority and we partake in the authority the throne represent. Yeah. Adam didn't have the indwelling of the Holy Ghost but we have the indwelling of the Holy Ghost as our, we are the human domicile and he indwells us and all of that. Praise God. What a privilege we have. It's too much. The restoration is too much but we have to take advantage of all of these realities. Advantage. Advantage. Praise God. All right. Now, Job 18 verse 13. When death entered into the human race, the Bible says death had a firstborn. Death had a firstborn. I want to show you the means and the ways by which death plagued the human race and made our condition very adverse. So Job 18 verse 13. Now, so, he's talking about death. Okay, can we start from verse 12? History, strength shall be hunger-bitten and destruction shall be be ready at his side. It shall devour the strength of his skin. Even the firstborn of death shall devour his skin. Now, he calls sickness the firstborn of death. So death entered the human race but death had a firstborn. I don't know the secondborn but I don't know the firstborn. When the Bible says firstborn and among the orientals, when you say, the firstborn, like Jacob called Reuben, the excellency of might, the excellency of strength and dignity. So the firstborn always had the prominent place. It is the word prototokos, the highest position of priority. The firstborn occupies the chief place, the chiefest place. So calling death the firstborn means that among all the persons of death, sickness holds the chiefest place or the prominent place. The prominent place. Please, are you with me? Yes, sir. So sickness holds the prominent place because it is called the firstborn of death. The firstborn of death. So sickness plagued the human race. Sickness, diseases, weaknesses, every hospital you see in town, every clinic, the proserium, all of them, all of these are signs of the fall of the human race. When was the last time you went to the hospital? You have seen someone sick, smitten by cancers and on toe diseases and all sorts of things. People dying every day, sicknesses, weaknesses, and if you go to some of our hospitals and there are no beds and people literally have to die, I mean, the pain, the pain. So, the chiefest way death exacts its influence is through sicknesses and diseases. It holds a prominent place. Hallelujah. Yeah. That is why, in fact, of all the blessings of redemption, the first one is forgiveness. The second one is health. Health is the second greatest gift in redemption. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefit. Number one, who forgiveth all thy iniquities. Number two, who healeth all thy diseases. Not some. All. God can heal all your diseases. Not some. There's a kind of enmity in the mind telling you that God is not faithful. Like that. He wouldn't heal all. But Jesus healed all. All. Every nation under the earth, most of the expenditure is towards the area of health. Health. Yeah. Health is very important. More important than money. Health is important. So, wherever you go, the smell, if you're going to go out, if you're going to go out, to the hospital. I had to visit someone at the hospital a few days ago. Just walking through the hospital, seeing people in pain. Just went to the emergency ward. I go like, from the beginning it was not so. People in pain, it was not so. But Jesus, Jesus redeemed us from it. Now, in his death, I mentioned his scourging. When I studied it and read about how Jesus was scourged, I got angry. That a man has paid for me, why should I be sick? Because the price he paid was a heavy price. The Roman scourging was feared. In fact, they boasted themselves. They boasted themselves of their scourging. It was fierce. Even the worst criminals were afraid of the Roman scourging. You don't scourge someone, then take him to be crucified. It was never done in those days. One was chosen for the person. You can't even have the strength to undergo the dual process of scourging. It's not done. It's not possible. Because the scourging itself will kill you, or may kill you, or leave you half dead. So, the scourging post was about two feet long. And what happened was that it was covered with a leather strand, covered with rings. So, they would tie both hands above the victim's head to the post. Then they would tie his legs to the rings of the post. So that his body wouldn't be mobile whilst receiving the scourging. The thing is that they strip him completely naked. Some of the Jesus movies we've watched, almost like his waist was covered. That isn't Roman scourging. In Roman scourging, the person is completely naked. Everybody sees everything. And your hands are locked as well as your legs. Then, the commandos who are applying the grips are two. Not one. They are two. And you know what they use? It was called the matix, the flagellum. It was a leather-steady handle of about 18 to 24 inches. And it had 12 strands. And the edges were embedded with jagged pieces of glasses and metals and sharp stones and bones. And the edges were embedded with jagged pieces of glasses and metals and bones. who he is, the beginning and the end, what he does. What he says in your life matters than anything. Just believe the word. Do you believe in his word? Are you sure? One day Bishop Oedipo went to the hospital. He shared a certain testimony. He said the doctor said they diagnosed him with a certain sickness. He said you have this and this and this. He told the doctor it's not true. The doctor said it's true. Can't you read? He told the doctor I think I can read better than you can do. I can read better than you can do. You know what he told the doctor? It blessed me when I heard that testimony. He told the doctor that you say I have this. But the one who is saying I don't have it, his name is called the truth. You get it. You are saying I have this. But the one who says I don't have it, his name is the truth. Which of you should I believe? His name is the truth. And he is the one who holds all things by the word of his power. The earth is hanging. The moon is hanging. The stars are hanging. He is the power behind gravity. Centripetal, centrifugal. The earth imaginary axis. He is the force that holds the universe. His word, the word of his power. He upholds all things. Sustains all things. Maintains all things by his word. And this same word says by my stripes you are healed. So it's faith. Faith. Faith. It's faith. Do you believe it? Oh, I will never forget the year 2007. I was in Sakomono in a certain house. Lying down. As I was lying down in the spirit, I saw a spirit being stand by my side. I saw the form, but I didn't see the image, but I felt a form by my side. And the spirit being spoke to me and said, and this is the first time I'm ever sharing it from 2007. The spirit being spoke to me and said, faith is the surest victorious asset in life's greatest cause. In life's greatest conquest. That was all. Faith is the surest victorious asset in life's greatest conquest. So it doesn't matter what you are going through. You will win by faith. This is the victory that will come in the world, if in our faith. Faith is not an attempt into victory. Faith is the victory. Just believe it. Just believe it. But you see, we come back to the word of God. The Bible says, let us therefore labor to enter into that rest. Lest any of you fall after the same example of unbelief. We need to labor to enter into that rest. The rest of health. The rest. And how do we labor? The next verse is, for the word of God is quick and powerful and sharper than any tool. So you labor in the word to encounter the faith required to usher you into your rest. You know you are healed. Praise God. And healing comes alive. Jesus zooms larger to you than every problem of life. That's a victory. You see Jesus and his word becoming larger to you than every need of life. Yeah. Praise God. No matter the situation you are in, if you meditate on Jesus, if you get so deeply into the word, it zooms larger to you. It becomes greater. And you fall in love. You love the word so much that it seems your problems are even forgotten but they are there. That state is a very spiritual state. If you begin enjoying Jesus like that, the problem will just dissipate. Yeah. If you focus on your problems, they grow. But if you focus on Jesus, they dissipate. Yeah. Miracles come when you gaze on Jesus. When Peter gazed on Jesus, he walked on the sea. The laws of gravity were suspended. Miracles happen when you gaze on Jesus. Praise God. All right. So, the human condition. The first one is sicknesses and diseases. Now, let's see the second one. The second one. That came after the fall. Genesis chapter 3. 17. And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of your wife, and hast eaten of the tree which I commanded thee saying, Thou shalt not eat of it. Curse is the ground for thy sick. In sorrow, thou shalt eat of it all the days of your life. Now, do you know that God didn't curse the ground? God didn't curse the ground. Read the Bible well. God didn't say, I'm cursing the ground for you. He said, God is just declaring a statement of fact. By virtue of Adam's allowing, by his high treason, he gave his dominion to Satan. And death and Satan entered in. When they entered in, they brought the curse. So, by reason of his action, the curse had already entered the human race. It was a consequence of his action. It wasn't God directly bringing the curse. Normally, we blame God for what he has not done. And many call it the act of creation. See, God is the cause of the earthquakes and the hurricanes. You know, and blaming God for the death of people, accidents and all of that. We are in a fractured cosmos. There is a devil. And men have their will. And God does not rule us like automations, like pre-programmed robots. Yeah, God doesn't want to coerce us. He made man a free moral agent. Give him his will. Man had to make a choice in Eden. It's God who put the tree there for man to make a choice. There is no way you can obey if there is nothing to disobey. So, Adam had to choose who to follow. He made his choice already in Eden. So, cursed is the ground for thy sick. Now, the first bone of death is sickness. Okay. But, cursed is the ground for your sick. That's actually economic curse. Economic stress. Poverty. Hard living. Cursed is the ground for your sick. The ground was cursed. That means that to make a living will not be a joke. That means you work and work and work and work and work. You're not the work you are working. You need you've labored enough to merit 50,000 kind of city. But, what they are giving you is 2,000. Yeah. So, a lot of wealthy people have become wealthy by unjust gain. And unjust means they become wealthy by being smart. But, the blessing of the Lord it make us rich. And our death no sorrow. There are true blessings and true riches. Yeah. Economic curse. Do you know that in redemption we have received immunity. Immunity. Immunity. Immunity. From the decay that affects all the people. All creation. There is a condemnation. A kind of sentence on all creation. The Bible calls that catacreno. A sentence that comes heavily on humankind because of the fall. Sentence of weaknesses and sicknesses and premature death and all the decay and all the chaos. Cursed is the ground. Remember, Cain was a tiller of the ground. But, I'm sure he had to stop later on because he was given a double curse. And his descendant by name Jabal Jabal was the first person I believe in his days maybe we can call him he began the nomadic lifestyle. He was a nomad. Earlier on they were all farmers but he became the first person to begin the nomadic lifestyle. Cattle raising and doing cattle business because the ground had been cursed. And he had to make a living. So he had to branch. He became the minister of agriculture in alien civilization. He had to make a living. The poor you always have with you. It's amazing that when it comes to wealth Jesus spent a lot of time talking about that. Because it's. you go to work how many days a week? Why are you going to work? See, money is very important. Yeah, money is mentioned. Prayer is mentioned 500 times in the Bible. But money is mentioned 2,300 times. Yeah. So God wants your total well-being. Yeah. Some of you will stop coming to church because you have to go and make a living. Who told you that in church, God will not give you the wisdom to make the proper living? Yeah. Praise God. So Bible scholars believe that 40% of Jesus' parables addresses the area of finances and working and all of that. He spoke of mammon. He spoke of so many things. So obviously, Jesus, the very first area he redeemed us from was from economic curse, economic stress in Gethsemane. Now in Gethsemane, that's what he did. He says that, God says, in the sweat of your face, you will eat bread. And Jesus had to sweat in his face to take the curse upon himself. That's it. In the sweat of their face, thou shalt eat bread. So now, after redemption, you don't need to sweat to eat bread. But if you spend your time, you sweat anyway. You are not living by the principles. So, Jesus underwent such stress so in the book of Luke 22, verse 44. Let's see Luke 22, verse 44. What the Bible says. Luke 22, verse 44. The Bible says, and being in an agony. Agony is a Greek word for wrestle match. Wrestling. Wrestle match. Yeah. He prayed more earnestly and he sweat. The Greek word for sweat is hydros. Was as it were great drops of blood. Great drops. The word drops is the word thrombosis. Thrombosis is a kind of medical condition. It is when your blood becomes thickly clotted. Aha. Your blood becomes thickly clotted. That's thrombosis. Now, you could just imagine what Jesus went through. The stress was so intense. So, the word sweat and drops is actually a medical condition. It is the word hematidrosis. So, what Jesus went through was hematidrosis. That means that it is the extreme level of stress where it begins as emotional stress but the body translates it as physical stress. Aha. It's almost like some of your facial vessels get damaged and broken or something like that. And under such intense and high stress, the first layer of your skin separate from the second layer of your skin and there's a vacuum. And because blood thrombosis happens and blood is clotted, they seep through the opening and they mix with your blood and they fall down. So, you know what Jesus did? The redeeming quality of his blood mixing with his sweat redeemed us from stress. Yeah. And I like it. The Bible says the drops of his blood falling down to the ground. Cursed is the ground for thy sake. So, your ground by faith has been redeemed. If you were to fully believe the principles given to us, your life would be freed from stress. You'd be so full of joy and happiness. You wonder if. That's it. Just believe what the word has said and your life would be full of joy. Luck would be gone. Stress would be gone. It's possible. Ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor that ye, through his poverty, might become a plutocrat. The word is plutus. Yeah. Yeah. You are well endowed and self-sufficient. Not needing aid anywhere. Because he has redeemed us from ecstasy. Because he has redeemed us from economic stress. So that while everyone is complaining of the government and complaining and murmuring and murmuring and complaining, you are smiling and rejoicing and praising and saying hallelujah, I'm lifted up. The same flood that destroyed the world lifted up the ark. The same stress and tension that is crushing humanity is lifting you up on high. The ark was elevated by the same flood. So when the economic flood sweeps the nation, you are lifted up. You are lifted up in the ark of God's economic safety. You are safe and safer. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Because you believe what Jesus did for you. And you are activating the principles to work in the reality of it. Yeah. God wants you not only blessed, but being a blessing. He doesn't want you so selfish that it's only about you and your family and your three cars parked in your house. With your air-conditioned room, nice television, DSC, nice TV, nice carpet, nice fridge. Your fridge even has internet. Yeah, some fridges with internet. Yeah. Yeah. Everything is nice. Say, man, I'm settled. I'm a goner. That's a poverty mindset. You are rich in money, but poor in mindset. We are not supposed to live for ourselves. We are to live for the Lord. For the gospel. To help humanity. Praise God. You've been a blessing. To remain poor is actually selfishness. Because you are so engrossed with yourself and your needs that you don't even care about others. But if you are in poverty and you start thinking about others, you come out of poverty. You know, we do you to wait for the grace of God bestowed. Upon the churches of Macedonia. How did that ingrate trial of affliction? The abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded to the riches of their liberality. Yeah. So, it's possible. Let him that stole steal no more. But let him labor. Working with his own hands. The thing that is good that he may have to give to him. You are stealing. You are stealing. You say, stop stealing. But start working. But he says, start working so you can get money to give to others. That's a radical kingdom concept. The reason the guy was stealing was because he was hungry. So he says, now start working. Not just to get money for yourself. But to give. You see, the kingdom mindset. It is beyond you being blessed but being blessing to others. Praise God. Hallelujah. We have been redeemed from the curse. To stress in the economy. Now Jesus, every curse is gone. You see, do you and apart from economic curse we have also been redeemed from generational curses. How many of you believe in that? We have been redeemed from generational curses. There are people who have just accepted it. My grandfather was a drunkard. My father was a drunkard. Automatically. My great-grandfather had diabetes. My grandfather had diabetes. My father had diabetes. Automatically, that's a common grace. So people actually do that. Behaviors. Hepatitis B. Hand gaps. Dysfunctional behavioral tendencies has been passed down. So they accept it. But do you know Jesus' lineage? Have you studied his lineage? Tema was part of his lineage. Tema was there in his lineage. Bathsheba was there in his lineage. Rahab the harlot was in Jesus' lineage. All of these guys were in Jechonias. Jechonias was in his new lineage. You know Jechonias? Is this Conea? The Bible calls him Conea. A despised broken idol. A vessel wherein is no pleasure. He said, "O earth, earth, earth, write ye this man childless, a man that shall not prosper, not of his seed sitting any more and ruling on the throne of David." He says, "Write ye this man childless." He reigned for a very short time. But the Bible, of course, him a vessel wherein is no pleasure. That time is like a paraphrasis. It's like saying, you know what it means to say a vessel wherein is no pleasure? It's the word for toilet bowl. Yeah, so it's a kind of paraphrasis. The Bible, I don't know what this guy did. And after him, Israel was taken to captivity. All of these guys were in the lineage of Jesus, but were sickest. Was blessed. It doesn't matter who is in your lineage. Because you have been grafted into a new family tree. You are in a new family tree. Don't look back to look at all the horrible guys in your lineage. No. You have been transplanted into a new family tree. So it doesn't matter the kind of the cases in your family. You are a new beginning for your family. In Ezekiel 18 verse 1, he prophesied. The Bible says that the fathers have eaten salt grapes and the teeth of the children are set on an edge. That is the verse for generational cases. The fathers have committed their sins. They've done all the wrong things and now the sons are reaping the consequences. Ezekiel 18 verse 1. So our father's sons, we are reaping the consequences. The consequences of their sins and their actions. But Jeremiah prophesied that this verse, it's a normal being function. He prophesied it. Let's see Jeremiah 31 verse 29. In those days they shall say no more. The fathers have eaten salt grapes and the children's teeth are set on edge. They shall say no more. In those days. Now in which days? In which days? The next verse. It's the same thing. Okay. But everyone shall, okay. The next verse. Which days? Behold the days come, sayeth the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah. Not, and this is quoted in Hebrews chapter 8 and chapter 10 concerning the new covenant, which was cut on the cross. You see, the new covenant was cut. That blood covenant was cut between God and Christ. Between two immutable forces. Christ on our behalf with God. So, Christ on our behalf, in covenant with God on our behalf. In strict terminology, we are not covenantes. We are actually beneficiaries of that covenant that was entered in between Christ and God. And we are reaping the benefit. Hallelujah. So the cap of the testament, all the inheritance, he was a covenanter, but he died as a testator to give us his will. He never died untested. So the covenant became the testament so that the testator, all that he left us, will become ours. Did your father leave the will for you? Or your father is still alive? Did he die untested? Or a testator? All that Jesus has is yours. But, but, so, the Bible says, when the new covenant is cut, that is when that verse will come to pass. In those, which days are that? When Jesus was on the cross. What was the last thing he ever redeemed us from before he died? Before he said it is finished? John 19 verse 30. John 19 verse 30. When Jesus therefore had received, do you have the net version? The net. Yeah. When he had received the sour wine, you see. Now, the fathers have eaten sour grapes. What is the difference between sour grapes and sour wine? Sour wine is when sour grapes in its fermented state, in its worst form. So on the cross, Jesus and Jeremiah prophesied that, look, when the new covenant is cut, it shall be no more. So Jesus, the Bible says that, that the scripture might be fulfilled, said, I test. Now, he didn't say I test because he was thirsty. He said that the scripture might be fulfilled, said, I test. So they brought him the sour wine. And the Bible says when he had received the sour wine, he said, it is finished. You know what happened? Your generational cases, he drank everything upon himself. He took the curse upon himself. It doesn't matter what your father went through, your great-grandmother went through, your lineage, what your family is experiencing, either your nuclear family or extended family. It doesn't matter the curse or the plague or the diseases or the hang-ups or the kind of character. Whatever is held within your family, you are an exemption. All things are passed away. Behold, all things are become new. You are a new person. You are a new creation in Christ Jesus. Praise God. Don't believe it. Even if the devil tried to bring you signs and symptoms of generational cases, like the way the devil can bring sicknesses to your body, although it is illegal, the devil can bring those signs your way. Stand in the faith. Stand therefore. Have in your loins. Get about the truth. Maintain your victory ground. And by faith, shake it aground. Hallelujah. You are redeemed from it. Praise God. So, the blood and the cross took care of all of these human conditions. Yeah. Just believe it. You don't have to die like your parent died. You don't have to suffer like they suffered. Because of the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. Hallelujah. Praise God. Let's go back to our verse in Genesis. Genesis 3. We read verse 18. Let's see verse 18. Thorns also and thistles shall bring forth today. After the fall, after he said, the next thing he said was thorns also and thistles. Now, in the Hebrew language, there is a second meaning to the word thorns. We know thorns as it is, but there's a second meaning in the Hebrew. Thorns speaks of pre-key and difficult situations in life. Like the Bible uses thorns by your side. Or Paul uses thorn in the flesh. So, thorns speaks of difficult situations. Adversaries and adversities. Calamities. Pre-key situations. So, physically, thorns were going to come up because of the fall. But figuratively, the same Hebrew word, he was prophesying that life was going to become difficult because death had entered. Life was going to become difficult. Difficulties in life. Calamities. Difficult situations. Thorns speaks of worries and cares of this life. With the parable of the sower, Jesus speaks of thorns as being speaking of the cares of this life. Cares. Worries. So, people are so worried. The burdens of life. The cares of life. Anxieties. Difficulties. Life comes with all of these. But do you know that in the midst of it, you can have perfect peace. And you can enjoy life and be free from the cares. Is it possible? It's possible. It's possible. Jesus said, peace I leave you. My peace give I unto you. Not as a word, give it. Give I unto you. My peace. Peace. The word literally is to bequeath as an inheritance. I bequeath my peace to you as an inheritance. He gave us his peace. So that we can be asleep on the boat in the midst of the storms. Yeah. Like Peter did. They were going to kill Peter. He was in prison. You know, Peter was in prison. Herod was going to kill him like James. But in prison he was asleep. Now the angel had to smite him to wake up from sleep. How possible? How can you? You are going to be killed the next morning. Sleep so deeply and snore at the same time. In perfect peace. It's difficult to do that. You should be contemplating. You should be contemplating your life. Whether you left at will for your wife and your children. You know, Peter was married. You should be thinking about your life. I mean, if it was you, your sleep would leave you. You'd be thinking and thinking and thinking. You wouldn't know whether to pray, to lie down, or to stand up. But Peter was asleep. Because Jesus already prophesied his death. He'll be an old man and they will stretch his hands. Jesus prophesied about Peter's crucifixion. So he believed the word more than what's the government was doing. Yeah, peace comes from faith. If you believe in God's word, you have perfect peace. Great peace have they which love thy law, and nothing shall offend them. Jesus purchased our peace. Our peace. He purchased peace for us. When Jesus rose from the dead, what was the first thing he said to his disciples? He said, peace be unto you. And what did he do? He showed them his hands and his side. Yeah. He said, shalom. Shalom. You know, shalom is a deep word. Shalom is an all-encompassing peace. It's peace in your body. We call it health. Peace in your pocket. We call it wealth. Peace in your mind. Peace in your. It's a word for completion. Abundance, fullness, health, rest. It's even a word for friendship. Total peace on every side. Jesus said, peace, I leave you. Then Jesus showed them his hands. You know why? Because the word shalom is from the word shalem. Shalem means to pay. Shalem means to pay from shalom. So when he said, shalom be unto you, he showed them his hands, saying, implying I have paid for it. I have paid for your peace. Why are you worried? I have paid for it. Jesus is telling you, I have paid for your peace. I have paid for your trouble. Just believe and rest in me. He'll fix it for you. But he gave us his Holy Spirit to be with us. Praise God. So he said, thorns. Then he says, fistels. Some versions actually uses wheat. Other versions uses unwanted plants. So can you imagine that in Eden there were no wheat? In Eden, hey, there were no unwanted plants. Fistels were not there. So in Eden, you don't need shoe to go through there. I don't think Adam was wearing sandals. What do you think? I don't think he was wearing sandals. There is a wrath that is coming. And to wait for his son from heaven. Even Jesus, who delivered us from the wrath to come. Who delivered us, past tense, from the wrath to come, future tense. We have been delivered. For God has not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through Jesus Christ our Lord. So the blood has already delivered us from the wrath to come. I wish I had more time to talk about the wrath to come. The great tribulation is called the wrath to come. The lake of fire is the wrath also to come. Yeah. Revelation 16 verse 6, or 6.16, the tribulation is called the wrath of the Lamb. And Revelation chapter 16 verse 1 is also called God's wrath. And Revelation 14 verse 10, the lake of fire is also God's wrath. But he has delivered us from the wrath to come because we are justified by the blood. Being now, present tense, justified by his blood, we shall receive from wrath through him. Praise God. Praise God. So we are free. The cross has freed us. And the blood has freed us. What shall I more say? Satan. Man's ancient destroyer. The Satan problem was solved on the cross. The death and the resurrection of Jesus solved the Satan problem. So don't engross yourself with Satan. Yeah. He is man's ancient destroyer. From day one, he has troubled man to date. But Jesus stripped him of his power. Yeah. Jesus says, now is the prince of this world cast out. Is it true? Now is the judgment of this world. Now. Now. Is the prince of this world cast out. Expelled. And in Colossians 2 verse 15. And have unspoiled principalities and powers. Now, verse 14 speaks of the cross and haven't blotted out the handwriting of the ordinances that was against us. He took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross. That was a law. Nailing it to his cross. The devil has always used a law against man and haven't spoiled principalities and powers. He made a show of them openly. So now majority of man's problem is Satan, Satan, Satan. Now Satan has been dealt with. Haven't spoiled. One version said. The word despoiled in Greek speaks of, it's a military word used by the Roman soldiers. It's actually a military word that was employed in those days by the Roman soldiers. When a Roman conqueror goes to conquer a nation. What happens is that it is better he brings the vanquished king or conqueror alive. But even if he's dead, he has to bring him home. But better alive. Than dead. And when they bring the vanquished king home. Openly, ceremonially. You know what they do? They strip him naked. Before all the Roman citizens. And they disrobe him. Then they cut his right thumb. And his left thumb. They cut them off. So that he cannot hold weapons again. To fight. Then they cut his great toe. Right and left. So that he cannot stand to battle again. Can you imagine? Like Adonai Zedek or Bezek did. By cutting the thumbs and the toes of kings under his table. So they cannot hold weapons. And they cannot fight. That's the word spoiled in the Greek. So that is what Jesus did to Satan. And principally. He has cut their thumbs. And he has cut their toes. And haven't disarmed. The Greek says. So every armament of value. They could use against you. Jesus disarmed. To get out of the way. So he has delivered us from man's ancient destroyer. And stripped him. Dethroned him. He dethroned him. And enthroned you. Yeah. He destroyed him that had. Not has. Had. The power of death. Can you imagine if he doesn't have the power of death again? And delivered those who through fear of death. Were all their lifetime. Subject to bondage. People think Satan has the power to kill them anytime he wants. No. Jesus says. I'm here to live it. And behold I was dead. Amen. He said. I'm alive forevermore. And I hold the keys of Hades and death. So Satan cannot kill you at any time as he wants. If you believe in the cross. Jesus stripped him. Disarmed him. Puts him to nothing. So you are free. The only. The Bible says. Who delivered us from the power of darkness. Or who delivered us from the exousia. From the authority of. Who. Colossians 1.13. Who. Not shall deliver. Delivered us. From the authority of darkness. Do you believe in the word? But why do you believe in Satan? Now. Who delivered us? So you have. You have been delivered. This scripture is enough. See. I'm delivered. So. So Satan has no authority over you again. The only authority he has is the one you give him. And when. We are not only delivered. We are translated. The Greek word says total transfer. Like Enoch was raptured. And like Elijah was taken. It's total transfer. From one realm to another realm. What are you talking about? So don't be demon conscious. Satan conscious. They are coming after me. Every day you see demons. Every day. Every day. Every day warfare. Every day warfare. Every day you are fighting. Every day. Jesus fought the battles. Hallelujah. I'm not saying there is no warfare. There is. But. The mindset that every day you are fighting. Every day. Every day. It's a way of despising what Jesus has done. Sometimes you overestimate his work. You are not even conscious that angels are around. Every day demon. Every day demon. You are more than a conqueror. Through him that loved us. See yourself as a. The word more than conqueror. Hugh Panikau cannot be found in secular literature. It is Paul that coined the word. Because he couldn't find words to describe. Our victory in Christ. So he had to put his own words. He had to put his own words. He had to put his own words together. It means over and above. Beyond. A conqueror. A conqueror is the one who enters the battle. Defeat the people. And gather the spoils and come home. But we. We didn't enter into any battle. We didn't gather any spoil. We were just sitting home. Someone went into the battle. Won the battle. Gathered the spoils. And just brought it to you. So you are more than a conqueror. Hallelujah. Victory is yours. You can live life rejoicing. You can live life happy. You can live life joyful. I am telling you. There are some people. The only way they are happy is when they are watching movies. The only way they are happy is when they are eating ice cream. The only way they are happy is when they are eating pizza. The only way they are happy is when they are out somewhere. But when it comes to God and his glory. It is drudgery. It is. No. No. May you find true pleasure. I am not saying those ones. They are very important. Because I like them. Yeah. Yeah. Of course God has a blueprint for entertainment. But you see. Jubal. His brother was Jabal. The seed of Cain. He was also the minister for entertainment. The name Jubal means joyful sound. It also means music. He was a father. The father of all that played the harp and the organ. So he actually invented the harp and organ. The reason was because when man left Eden. Man had left God. The source of their joy. So man needed to augment certain things. To invent their own music. Because. To augment the situation. Because their God. Their true joy. Was gone. So they had to create certain things. To make up for the void that was inside them. So a lot of external entertainments. Are just. An expression of an inward void. That can only be found in God. Aha. For the Bible says. In their presence is fullness of joy. And at their right hand are pleasures. Forevermore. So that will show me the path of life. Huh? There is no time like when you have an open Bible. Sitting with Jesus. One by one. You must come to a place where this is your true joy. And when you are praying and talking to him. You can't wait but to come back. Because prayer has become mechanical. You have seen something beautiful. So you are not enjoying it. But you enjoy talking to your boyfriend. You enjoy talking to your beloved. Aha. You enjoy those things. But why don't you enjoy the Lord? Because I have made it so mechanical. You are not sapping the life out of it. But Jesus loves him more than your boyfriend. Amen. He has served you better than him. He can disappoint you, but Jesus cannot disappoint you. Hallelujah. Brethren, we have authority to return to that life that is free from the curse. He has brought life and immortality to light. Giving us immunity from the decay that affects our creation. You can live joyful. You can live happy. You can live healthy. You can live prospered. Above all, being a friend of God. Fulfilling divine mandate in all authority. Fulfilling God's heartbeat and purpose. Working in love. Whatever the scripture has said, you can manifest it. We have all of eternity to celebrate the victories, but we have few hours before sunset. Said by Amy Wilson-Carmacale, this is our time on earth to explore the inexhaustible treasures and to mine the wealth of the riches stored in the word for us. Which came to us through his redemptive work. Let's explore them and receive them and work on earth. Work in power. Work in love. Work in the spirit. Work in glory. Impacting the earth. This is your day. This is your time. Don't allow circumstances and adversities and adversities to kick you down. Always fighting with demons who have been vanquished. And defeated. Ah. May you live the victorious life. The transcended life. The resurrected life. The exalted life. The victorious life. May your face show it. Your face become an advertisement. May your voice manifest it. Your demeanor reveal it. As the advertisement of Christ. The living witness of Christ. The manifestation of Christ. The glory has come. The glory is now. The Bible said, Arise, shine, for the light is come and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth and gross darkness to people. But the Lord shall arise upon thee and his glory shall be seen in thee.
