Understanding the Blessing and Abrahamic Connection The message you're about to listen to is a production of Christ's Treasure Centre, Lagos, Nigeria. Speaker 2 Can you shout Hallelujah? Celebrate Jesus in this place? Shout Hallelujah. Glory to Godfather, we thank you. What a privilege to know you. What a privilege to be called. Your own Bible says behold we should be called. There is living, blessed and today a divine inheritance for all round performance. It is a divine ability that can lead to all round prosperity. Really and truly what we need is the blessing. Once you have the blessing and you know how to appropriate the blessing, then other things flow. From peace to joy to progress to purity to prosperity to health. They all flow from the blessing. These are fruits of the blessing. The blessing is the root. Once the root is addressed, all these fruits will flow. And there is a strict protocol from forgetting this blessing. Galatians 3 verse 8 to 9, You must be connected to Abraham, You must be connected to Rabbi says. What's more, Galatians 38, the Scriptures look forward to this time when God would declare the Gentiles to be righteous because of their faith. God proclaimed this good news to Abraham long ago when he said all nations will be blessed through you. So therefore all who put their faith in Christ share the same blessing that Abraham received because of his faith. So you must be connected to Abraham either physically or spiritually. Initially you only got it by being physically connected to Abraham. You get it first of all by procreation. You must be born in that lineage and then by coronation or impartation. And I used what coronation? Because it's it's not it's I just want you to appreciate the fact that it's not something you don't speak on the ground. It has to be a special impact upon you. And right now just Christ is the intersection between those that receive the blessing spiritually or sorry physically and then spiritually. We are now connected to him. Christ was born in the lineage of Abraham and now anyone like we read in that verse 9 of Galatians 3. Anyone who put their faith in Christ share the same blessing. It is singular, the same blessing, the same blessing. Last week we looked at one major principle for activating the blessing and we said see it before you see it, which means that you need to see the blessing spiritually and mentally and it will be translated to your physical reality. Today I want to look at another dimension and next week another dimension and all true for the next 5 weeks I think we'll look at this various dimensions. Today is the blessing and Kingdom wealth. The blessing and Kingdom wealth. All believers have been blessed equally. Ephesians 1/3 Every believer have been blessed equally spiritually. Bible says all praise to God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us as in past tense. He has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ. He has blessed us with every spiritual. So he blessed just, just. He blessed not just one person. He has blessed us. He has blessed all of us. So spiritually we all look alike spiritually, we all have the blessing. We have all been blessed. This blessing is singular, but right now we need to give this blessing expression. Proverbs 10/22. The blessing of the Lord makes a person rich and has no story with it. The blessing is singular, but the expressions are many, and one of the expressions is wealth. The blessing of the Lord makes a person rich and has no sorrow. Listen to this. You can be rich without the blessing, but definitely to come with many problems, many sorrows you can lose. People can lose their soul. They may not go to heaven, they may have sickness, they may lose their family. Listen, I said it before, you cannot experience all round victory without being connected to Christ. Something must give. I'm privileged to relate with some of the top people in this country by virtue of my work. There is obviously a serious coma. Some of them, they have wealth, but their home is disarray so that my serious ailments, some serious pain, so they cannot sleep well. They take drug to sleep because of the things they have done. Their minds are troubled. They don't have Peace of Mind. You don't know what it is to have Peace of Mind. Oh, sorry. I will say that you may not really absolute this roughness of mind like those people. They've lost their peace. So is when you come to Christ, you can have balance everything can work together because of the blessing you you, you will not some things will not suffer because the blessing will give you the formula to experience an or arbitrage life. So when he says the blessed of the Lord make Richard atmosphere. Please underline that an atmosphere because love you are rich today, but they are sorrowful, you may not notice you are close to them. So the blessing is singular, but the expressions are many and one of the expression is wealth. Your Choice to Appropriate the Blessing for Wealth But it's a choice. You can decide to experience his wealth or not. There's a choice. I love the book of Luke 13, verse 16. There was a woman that was bound and she was sick, crippled with the spirit of infirmity for 18 years, 18 years. And on the Sabbath day Jesus healed her. And the Jews were like, how will you heal on the Sabbath day? How, how dare you heal on the Sabbath day? I thought the Sabbath day was a time where we should not walk. And verse 16, he said this dear woman, a daughter of Abraham, has been held the bondage by Satan for 18 years. Is it is right that she be released even on the Sabbath? What touched me there is that it says verse 16, this dear woman, a daughter of Abraham, you can be connected to Abraham and not experience the blessing. It's your choice. For this one. It was sickness. It's like this blessing has many expressions. 1 of it is health. I will talk about this next week. Next week we're going to talk about the expression in your health. He says you are connect to Abraham. This matter has been dealt with. The blessing makes rich, the blessing makes he brings health. But how come the person is still bound by Satan for 18 years? The same way many people are still bound in poverty for several years if they are connected to Ibraham. You can carry the blessing and still be poor. I will speak like the same woman. How come this person who is blessed with the blessed of Abraham is poor? Because people don't know how to appropriate the blessing. Many a bondage of party for years despite their connection and coronation after the Order of Abraham. And it ought not to be so. I was on campus as a student when I discovered this truth about the blessing and I knew it was my choice to either be poor or be wealthy and I screamed I can never be poor. That is my choice. What is your own choice right from Bible times, everyone that carried the blessing, you see the effects in their life. Let's start with Abraham, Genesis 13. Two, the Bible is that Abraham was very rich in livestock, in silver and in gold. It was wealthy. Genesis 1414. This one always blows my mind. Those of you who have been around for some time in CTC must have made me see this. This is 1414 when Abraham had that his nephew Lord had been captured, immobilized through an 18 trained man who had been born into his household. 318 men born in your household. This man, we have wives at that time plus children. I mean at least 2000 people living in your household. What a wealthy man. Someone cannot accommodate one. Your, your, your family came to stay with you for one week. You are crying. You want to scare the whole place because they have shots the the the food you are eating. It's like don't eat too much that this room. We rational free this house. 318 men with their wives. That's a mega church. That's a mega church. They need to put a church in the house and they were at least 2000 in that church. We need to change our mindsets. The average believer mindset is to me so poor. Just me, myself, my family and I since I will bless you, you will be a blessing. This is really a blessing except with Isaac dresses. 2612, the Bible suggests, is treated 2612 when Isaac planted his crops that year he invested 100 times more grain than he planted for the Lord blessing. Wow for you to appreciate this one. The context of verse one dresses to this one the Bible says is severe farming now struck the land verse 12 and somebody is planted during farming and having 100 times what he goes. When I read this I asked myself first of all, it means what you started with in the year by the end of the year you are times 100. So I took what I have now. I say, imagine I want to get at the end of the year times 100. What will it be? I love the figure. I love the outputs. I multiply what I have now by 100. I love the outputs. But that was what happened literally times 100 in one year. That's what the blessing do. It says the reason for that was because the blessing was working. The Lord blessed him. Jacob Genesis 3210 says I'm not worthy of your feel in love and faithfulness you have shown to me your servant. When I left all my cross the Jordan River, I had nothing but a walking stick. Now my household fill two large camps. That's the blessing I went with a walking stick zero level. Now my household fill two large camps. Look at Genesis 3210, Genesis 3210, Sorry Genesis 3043. The Bible says as a result Jacob became very wealthy with large flocks of sheep and goats, 303043 female and male servants and many camels and dog. He became very wealthy. So the question is how come Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and others we are able to appropriate the blessing to get wealth without sorrows, but believers who are the sons and daughters of Abraham are still bound in poverty. The reason is simple. They are not appropriating the blessing. They are not manifesting the blessing. Poverty may be your condition, but don't make it your conclusion because you carry the blessing. That may be your state today, but that cannot be your end because you carry the blessing. Cultivating a Prosperous Soul: Sold Out to God So today before I wrap up, I want to talk about three major pillars from appropriating this blessing. There are three major pillars #1 the prosperous soul #2 guided feats #3 diligent hands. This is just like pillars under each of them. I can actually take each of these one month prosperous, so I can talk about it for one month guided feats, one month diligent and another one month so I will talk about it 930 minutes the three. So you need to follow me because I'll just be moving fast. Just touch about it because each of them, I need one month to deal to deal with them because these are pillars. But what I will say will be helpful because I've thought about this since before. And I'll just like remind you, these three pillars, they work harmoniously together for you to express prosperity. Just just the same with the sum. The moon and the Earth are constantly interacting through gravity, light and motion to produce day and night, seasons and tides. You know, the sun and moon I was talking about like the moon reflect the, the, the, the, the light of the sun, you know, in the evening, at night. So they are working together harmoniously the same way. These 3 when you walk them harmoniously, you have seasons of wealth that will just come into your life. So let's start with prosperous souls that I love the new King James version of third John chapter 2. The Bible says, Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health just as your soul prospers. I pray that you prosper in all things and be in health, but it is just as your soul prosper. The spirit of the believer carries the blessing, but the soul is what will release it. You are already blessed spiritually, but your soul is like a conduit for that blessing to be released. Your soul must must be prosperous for you to appropriate the wealth that brings no sorrow. Your soul. Talk about your soul. Talk about your mind, your emotions, your will, your intellect, all these together, they form your soul. It says you'll be prosperous just as your soul is prosperous. Now what's How does a prosperous soul look like #1A prosperous soul is a soul that is sold out to God. Your soul is prosperous. You are sold out to God. That means your goal is never wealth. Your goal is to follow God and to do His will. Wealth is not what is your major goal in life. If wealth is your major goal in life, you are poor. That's the biggest property and that's why when you see many people that have riches, they are still, they have come out one of the majority. They have a gulf is that many of them do. They are not rich towards God. Their soul is panting only after money they are looking for is not missing. Your soul must be panting after God. That is your number one desire. That's your number one goal to do the will of God. Matthew 624 Joshua says you cannot serve God and money. You cannot serve God and mammal in this Kingdom. We we are not after oh let's it's not about money. It is God alone. You cannot have two masters and I'm chasing God, I'm chasing money. No, it is God. I'm chasing money will come. God will tell you to get money, but God is what your heart is panting, panting after. You know, I'm trusting God that in Christ your center will be known as people who are sold out to God but will be wealthy. That's my desire. People are sold out to God and that's why I'm trying by the grace of God, to practically live it and exemplify it, whereby you will see that this life is fully for God. But you cannot say that they are lacking or they are begging for anything. They are wealthy. A soul that is prosperous does not have this inordinate grievance for money. First Motive 69 Those who long to be rich, those who long to be rich will fall into many temptations, and they will be trapped by many foolish and amphitheaters that plung them into ruin and destruction. We don't long to be rich, so you must get the deadly balance right? I'm talking about wealth. I'm saying not to be rich. It looks like a contradiction, but this is Kingdom way. The way up is the way down is the Kingdom way. I'm going to get it. But that's not what is procuring my heart. That's not what is procuring my heart. It's not about money. God is my witness. I don't think about money. I really think about money. In fact, money is so bad I cannot tell you how bad it is. I don't. I don't know how much I hate. And I've said it. That's what I've said it. That's very bad. Don't do that. Is that bad? My goal is good, not not good, but you have money. It's a sick key for the Kingdom and fractiousness and what will happen, right? This we added to you don't chase things in the you know, we don't chase things. We chase God things chase us. You must understand the sequence. It doesn't say should not have it, but it's saying it's a secrets of the Kingdom. Kingdom sequence is different. Wealth is the fruit of the blessing, not the goal of the believer. The blessing is the roots. These days is ever money. Every every relationship is about money. Everything is monetized. Everything is monetize. Even in church after church. Now are your friends. Who will you go and greet? Is the people that can get something from. Everything is about money. As a man of God, I test myself. Do I counsel the rich the same way I called the poor? Do I have time for the reason I have time for the poor. I, I assess myself because possibly when it's time for mentor and I I, I look at this, why? What do you have? Are you OK then why that the traffic is dry? I said the Lord bless you. So I was assessed myself. I look at it because if you are not careful, you will just be carried away is everything is not monetized. It's about cash. Who can give me money? Who are the people that you run through, you love, you choke care in the body of Christ? Is it because there's something you can gain from them? It's not about money, it's about God. I want to do your will. Oh Lord, I want to save you. Money will save me. Money will save me. Please, I beg you, the name of God. And that's why I love. People have not been able to get this money in the church because they have missed the sequence. It's not about money. A prosperous soul is a soul that has confidence in the blessing and you don't use other handed means to make money. That means you will not lie, you will not cheat because you trust the blessing. You will not lie, you will not cheat. And if you see what people, church people do in the corporate world, you'll be amazed. How do we have the number of Christians that we have and what is going on around and we are all combining and doing because it's about just the money. A soul that has confidence in the blessing dresses 1422 he started from Abraham Abraham demonstrated confidence in the blessing when he went to help what I read earlier on when he took the triating treatment to help to rescue his brother in Sudan. Then the king wanted to offer him several goods and wonderful things. As you said, Abraham told the king of Sodom, I solemnly swear to the Lord God, most High creature of heavens and earth, that I will not take so much as a single trade or sand out tongue from what belongs to you. Otherwise you might say, and the one who made Abraham rich is God, I carry the blessing. Nothing will take that from you. This blessing will produce and without your gift and the blessing we produce, you have confidence in the blessing. This one is not bribe. Oh, how much will they not bring bribe? I used to talk about, you should talk about give it to me. He's not bribe, He has already, he's just a gift, but he has confidence in the blessing. Today people will just collect bribe here and there, collect things and that says Nigeria, Nigeria it's difficult. Abraham had abundance mindset that he gave Mercedes a tithe of everything that he got from the sports. Nobody asked him, nobody taught him, nobody trained him. He gave him tithes. That God is enough mindset. The God I have is enough for me. This prosperous soul means that you stand for integrity. No on the handed means. Integrity is a proof that you trust the blessing. I made-up my mind very early in life and in career that I will not engage in on the handed means and practices. Anything that God cannot give me, I do not need it. Anything that God cannot give me, I don't need it. I made-up my mind never to touch church money as a church leader and I mean touch is that I use it for personal gain. Use on that means to touch. No, never, if I say something something dangerous that if I will use on the other miss to touch, touch money to tomorrow, let go, take my life today my eyes does not like the hand of prayer, so I should not pray like that. Because she say that your mouth is too powerful, even when you say things jokingly, it happens, but is that serious? You must draw hard line integrity. The line is hard. You must trust the blessing the God that you serve is a God of more than enough. It would take care of you. Don't you see don't bother. I want to see that you want to see people the way they want to just quickly look for out to those and as the pastor can be very tempted because when the church status you that we put on your money needs. So when this is outcoming, it's like this we mix it together. No, you can't do that separate, separate. If you carry the blessing, you must be very hard on integrity. You must trust the workings of the blessing because no one follows God and becomes stranded. It's not how can you follow going to be stranded if you have a prosperous heart. You will be a good keyword of God's resources. You will know that you don't own riches. You are only a manager of God's riches that God put in your hand. Like you said in Genesis 712 verse one. I will bless you and you will be a blessing. You will be you will be a channel for others. That's two. Sorry, Justice 712, verse 2. Since I will make tradition, I will bless you. I make you and you will be a blessing. You understand that the purpose of this blessing is for you to be a blessing to others. That's a prosperous mind. You know who have money, but they don't have prosperous mind. They already have money. They're still in more, still in more because they're scared. They cannot even give. They cannot help because the mind is poor. It's poor. Many of the rich people in Nigeria are poor. I'm telling you, when I see what they behave with money, this ones are poor. When you still, still, still still, When I hear the money that they get looted by some of these politicians, I asked who want to spend this money in trillions, in billions we have in a lifetime. Because the deficiency is so much that the decision of the poverty is so much in the heart that you must just get more, more, more, more. There you still feel the poverty. Because only Jesus can feed that vacuum. Only Jesus can feed the vacuum. If you want to clap, clap for Jesus that only just can feed the vacuum. That's why. Because that that vacuum is not filled. They would think if I can get more, more, more, more, more, more, more till they lose it. Nobody, nobody was. Nobody carried money to to heaven or hell. Following God's Guidance for Breakthrough Ideas So the first one is prosperous soul, then the second one is guided feats, second pillar guided feats. Look at that dress 26 verse one. We read it earlier on where we talked about how Isaac prospered. In verse 12, verse one, we said a severe famine now struck the land as had happened before in Abraham's time. So Isaac moves together. We are a Babylon the king of princely lead. Verse 2, the Lord appeared to Isaac and said, do not go down to Egypt, but do as I tell you. Now when you are reading verse 12 and you are seeing that it was blessed 100 times of what He did, first of all there was a guidance for His feet. This is where you should go, guided feet. Once your soul is prosperous and you are on the right path internally, the next step is external alignments, which means your feet is guided by the Lord. Guided feet will always outperform gifted feats. The feat that the Lord is guiding, Psalm 23 verse one. The Lord is my shepherd. I have all that I need guided feats because the Lord is the one that is directing me. If you have all that you need, what else you want? No one follows God that becomes stranded. That's why we say start from the spirits. You must prioritize sensitivity over activity. When people. I just want to do something. OK, What's going on now? What's what's what's making money now? What's we know? I said believe I can't just be moving around. So what's green? What's raining now? What are people doing now? I'm getting money now. No sensitivity over activity. What is the Lord saying? What is the Lord saying? Guided fits. I can tell you this one as a businessman and as a career person, sometimes just be at the right at the right time is a major difference. Some people who are Even so good, but the allocation is wrong. If you plant, you put a seed here. Now that's it is carrying a lot of potential, but the sea cannot grow here, It's just be flat. Guided fit means that you are led to best the right creativity, solutions and ideas. You are coming up with solutions. God is putting ideas in you, breakthrough ideas that would take to the next level. The Jews represented by 0.2% of the world population, but they've won 20% of Nobel Prize. We say prize has comfort conferred to people that have invented things that are the greatest benefit to mankind or they have done things that has a great benefit to mankind. Go and check their innovations, check their inventions from flash drive to voicemail to missiles to defence all over the place. Some of you should go to Israel and learn some things. One of my friend was telling me how they do in Israel. You are you always wondering all this message is true. They're not No casualty. Are you not wondering? They are showing missiles everything from other countries, nothing happen. They have a lot of technology. The guy said that when the missile we drop here, while they are in the cafe, they are drinking tea and everything, they'll just get a lot. This location, in 20 or 15 minutes, a missile withdraw, everybody take over. See, the first of all, they try to intercept it. When they intercept it, the Nova is going to land. If you say that kind of technology, not much we get it's inventions and criteria that makes some people to get to the next level of wealth. Many times Christians are consumers. You can be, you can be creative. God can give you creative idea. If you push up in your heart, even nobody has done it. You can be the first. I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me doesn't do all things. Which area is he say you should do something? God was showing me cyber years ago, 18-19 years ago. Today cyber is big, what is God showing you now that we big in the next five years? Hard Work, Value, and Wise Stewardship for Wealth Then lastly, diligent hands. And that's why please, this garage is very important. Always be sensitive to what you should be doing. Please. I always believe that one thing one day God can just tell me something that can change everything. Even up till now, I'm still open. I'm still open now diligent hands. I'm saying that your soul is prosperous. You're on the right track, but you have to put your hands to work. These are not area believers miss it Proverbs 10/4. Many believers don't believe in hard work. They believe that because guys grace things should work well. Does everything just work automatically. Bible says let's pull as soon Paul hard workers get rich, you need to work hard. Adam was working before the fall. So hard work is not a result of the fall. We need to work hard. In fact, you must see it as a privilege to work hard. The sea of my office, the sea of Africa says something Once I liked it says pressure is a privilege. You know, because we are always very pressured. It's a privilege. They are making our pressure that we are Prayers don't have, don't have to eat. You are proud to work. The Bible says the diligent and proverb stands for the NIV version says the diligent and bring wealth. Hard workers get rich. The diligent hand bring wealth. So your handbook digital diligence. First of all, it starts by trusting the process knowing that diligence pays not just prayer alone. Prayer open doors. But diligence walks through them. So I'm not downplaying prayer. Prayer is good starting the spirits, but it doesn't end there. Diligence makes you to walk through the open doors. You know, I I was surprised that many times when believers think of breakthrough big thing that is there was a miracle. In fact, I was surprised that some university that they would pick money on the floor. Somebody would miss their money. Do not pick it. I'm telling you why they say they just they just say that one day just get it. God just bless us. God bless us also how we pick money. So what do you lose their money? That's that's not that's not that's not what we want to bless you with or somebody just dash your money. So take we bless you because the pastor came to tell you that while I was just after ministry one day someone just came and blessed me. That's how pastor get blessed. You go and walk by design. It says if they are so spiritual food to you, then you should sow physical. That's the Galatians 6 by 6 or five. So that's by design you when you pray you can sow seed out there. So stop waiting for some command dash you money and guess what, I'm not supposed not dashing on you once in a while somebody will come and bless you once in a while things you choose no work for without your hand. But that is not the primary way. Go on, stick to the next level. That's where I have missed it. Their market time, beautiful handouts, Dash gifts once in a while. How we create wealth for the Kingdom is by creating value. Value. The reason why money even came to default because money was a means for measuring value. So if you want more money, you put more value on the table. The blessing creates value before it creates wealth. Value. How are you adding value to others? How does your skill or your service enhance the life of others? That is how the blessing we create wealth for you, not by gambling or by betting or by luck. That's why many kids are betting today. They are thinking that one day to just be lucky or favored. Proverbs 1311 there is no rich man in the world, The richest man in the world. None of them got it through betting and gambling. No you will not see a single one. When you some people come out and say I got this money because of betting and gaming because of my bets, they are lying to you. They are just deceiving you. Look at the top women in Nigeria and in the world. None of them is true gaming and betting. That was says in the book of Rasts at 11. Wealth gotten wealth from gets rich quick schemes quickly disappears. Wealth from hard work grows over time. So you must be patience for your wealth to grow over time. It will grow over time. So I say this way, I must hammer, I must hammer. If you hammer, hammer, we hammer you back, it will be hammered back. Many young people these days are just betting, he said. If some of them, they've lost their everything, one came once. They're not discharged. They came for counseling. They say this year alone over 1700 passed through the account 17,000,000 but the guy is negative. They show they show the account like this because today you know, it's OK if I can just add this one. I get this one. They don't they we want to finish you. You tell you that that what are you got? You can just do next one and that's it. The old thing just goes down, then they'll not go and borrow.
