The BIGGEST Takeaways from Week 4 of the NFL | Fantasy Focus
67m 31s
The recap highlights key fantasy football developments across multiple games, emphasizing player performances and injuries that impact value. CDLAM and Javonte Williams delivered dominant fantasy outings, with CDLAM standing out as a top-tier receiver and Williams as a reliable back. Nico Collins’ return was a major positive, showcasing his explosive potential when healthy. David Montgomery remained a low-impact flex option due to limited targets and poor efficiency. The Bills’ offense is in flux due to injuries to DJ Moore and Keyon Coleman, making their WR and RB options unpredictable. The Rams’ offense suffered from injuries to Sequan Barkley and Bigsby, undermining their scoring potential. Kyron Williams delivered a standout performance with 16 carries and two touchdowns, elevating his status as a top RB2. The Chiefs’ wide receiver room is thin, with Tyree Johnson potentially becoming a waiver wire target if activated, especially given the absence of other WRs. Patrick Mahomes continued to perform at a solid level, though limited by a hamstring injury and a lack of rushing upside. The Raiders’ offense remains inefficient, with Kirk Cousins performing well but facing a weak ground game. Overall, the analysis underscores the volatility of fantasy football in injury-prone matchups and the need for careful evaluation of target volume, health status, and offensive schemes. Several players—like Kyron Williams, Tyree Johnson, and the Rams’ backups—are emerging as key opportunities for fantasy managers in the coming weeks.
What's up friends, welcome into fantasy focus football alongside. Sorry about that, my clay and field tradition. My name is Daniel Dot, very excited to recap all the things that we're weak for in fantasy football. First and foremost, though, I have to tell you about the most athletic thing I have ever heard field do. Oh, I didn't see it. No, I did not see it. As we walk out of this studio, we have a door that we push and I have to push it out in order to get into a hallway. Yes. And field notoriously brings into our studio two liquids. We have a thing of water. We call them a drink goblin. Yes. Yes. So we use water and then it's little tea. I push the door open with field directly behind the door. And all I heard was like it was the matrix. And then he's just standing there holding both of them as I almost bowl him over basically like a regular Darius Cooper yesterday. Oh, really? The highlight of the league goes off. Yeah, actually the chiefs might need you at receiver next week as we'll get to that. We're going to dive into that next week. Thankfully. A lot of things to get into here. Yeah. All right. We're going to dive into each and every game as we always do. One of us is going to take the lead. And we're going to start with cowboys and Texans. Mike Clay, that one's going to go over to you, my friend. Yeah. CD lamb hashtag. Good at football. How about this one about it? Unbelievable. Stand mic now is 21 targets. Good. Yes. That's a lot. 17 catches 189 yards in a touchdown as well. He crushed it. He's an elite fantasy receiver. We're talking about him up there with you know, I'm not going to put him quite on a healthy Jamar chase or Pukin or JSN just yet, but he's right there. I mean, right on the cusp. After all we saw yesterday, um, he's the NFL receiving yards. Yeah, he does. He's he's, uh, yeah. I mean, look, he's led the position of fantasy points before he could certainly do it. Uh, so he was awesome. Not much else to add there. Other than he's a superstar. If you draft him late in the first round, you're feeling good. Javonte Williams. If you got him, he was, excuse me. Uh-oh. Getting choked up about Javonte. I know. So good. He means so much to you. A hat trick for Javonte. So good to us. Uh, yeah, much like CDLAM just crushed it 19 for 62 and three scores on the ground. Also got all five of his targets for 21 yards. Uh, one of them boring picks and fantasy drafts. It's just getting the job done weekend and week out. Uh, we don't talk about him a lot because he's just one of the more reliable players in fantasy huge game in week four. Uh, by the way, CDLAM had a big game. Javonte Williams had a big game. George Pickens only had three targets. So 75 yards. So I, I stand by this. They said it before. Just say the course with him. He's going to still be startable. He's going to be fine. Uh, Jake Ferguson. No, we did warn you on this one. He was going to disappear. Hopefully you're not starting him just three for 11 in this game. So that's a dialeside. Let's you guys have anything else to add there. They are pretty straightforward. They are one of receivers and I understand the frustration of George Pickens manager. So we can have that conversation going into week five. But CDLAM, Javonte Williams, Zach Prescott, said it. Forget it. Move on. Yeah. Uh, Houston side, Nico Collins is back. Loved it. Fellas. He's healthy. Yes. Went off. Seven catches, 118 yards and two touchdowns on eight targets in this game. The guys are superstar. When he's healthy, we just have to stay on the field. We obviously debated that a length in the off season. I have a official declaration on the board bet. Okay. It's a tie. It's a tie right now because he has missed 50% of his games this season. But in the two games that he did play, he was really. It was amazing. Yeah. Both. We both tie. Yes. Hi for now. But he is, he is rolling. The only other Texan over 50 yards was Jalen Noel, who had 85 yards and three targets. Obviously, that's one big thing. The rotation behind him. We're not worried about that. And then to the backfield, David Montgomery and other Duddy played 58% of the snaps. Just 24 yards on 10 carries. 19 yards on zero targets. Yeah. Somehow he had a lateral. The only in the game week before. So no targets. That's going to crush it. And who got the goal line touchdown again. What he marks? What he marks? Equavious. Yeah. This is this is rough for David Montgomery. He is what we said he was. He's a flex. He gets it just enough volume in this offense to hang in the flex conversation. But the upside limited, obviously and the floor is very low touchdown dependent and a major way. Yeah. Very good game. By the way, very competitive, very good game Texans. Oh, and four. Oh, and four. Not great. No team to be rough to come back. It's the 1992 Chargers has made the playoffs after starting. Oh, and four. They're the only team to ever do so in NFL history. I don't know. I mean, like, do we feel like the Texans after watching the bills and the Cowboys both put up a huge number of points? Is the Texans defense still the Texans defense? No, we would call it. I mean, like we were talking about like benching guys entirely. Yes. The Texans defense. That is certainly not the case. Stack 18.1 fantasy boys on a monster day, but it was 335 yards. It was just that Javonte Williams had those three touchdowns. Try to tell you after week one on David Montgomery. We're going to miss. I don't know 100 things a week on this show. It's called being a fantasy football analyst, but it was the most obvious sell high that you will see in fantasy football. People got very mad. They got in their feelings on David Montgomery. If you did sell high on David Montgomery Bravo, because you may well have upgraded to a much more serviceable back going. Yeah, but by the way, I think we should mention no major injuries in this game. And I feel like we need to say that because that's not going to be the case for a majority of the injury about the game about a lot of concerns here. Yeah. Let's talk fantasy about the Patriots in the bills, but in reality, the Patriots went up there and said no smoke us out yet to break Bay with a vintage performance. This guy looked like the player. We saw last season. He started out slow and sketchy this game field because he had a fumble in an interception. I feel like early and I was real so proud of how he rebounded in this game itself. Yeah. The interception was off the hands of Romeo Dobbs, who I'm going to free name Romeo Dobbs. He's been renamed. You guys know I'm a massive Tuesday's guy. I've got tons of friends and are still die hard Patriots fans. We text all the time about the Patriots and especially on Sundays. And he has earned the nickname the roller coaster after yesterday's performance from Romeo Dobbs, which he had six catches for 58 yards and two touchdowns. Nearly 24 fantasy points after Mac Holland's also gets hurt. The Patriots are playing wide receiver in the second half with Mac, excuse me, Romeo Dobbs, Demario Douglas, Efton Chisholm, is there three top guys? Chisholm makes the catch of the week on the table. So you kidding me to win the game for the Patriots. I'm not sure any of those guys other than Romeo Dobbs matter for fantasy. We'll talk about the Patriots receiver room more and do going into week five against the Raiders. The two positions that might matter for the Patriots and fantasy are Drake Mang, a quarterback, and the two running backs. Drake May yesterday kind of a reminder, you know, maybe part of the reason why I was under 10 fantasy points a week's one through three. And I just played three elite defense three very good defenses at the very least. The Patriots schedule gets a little lighter going forward after playing the bills yesterday. They're an offensive team, of course, but the Raiders this weekend who have been good against quarterback so far this year would not put the Raiders defense in the same category as Seattle or Pittsburgh or Jacksonville on the running backs. So Drake will enter that top 10 quarterback conversation four week five with some better matchups beyond that as well for the running backs. Don't know how much we have learned from weeks one, two to three to four other than this for Traveey on Henderson to pay off. He's going to need a long rushing touchdown. For Ramondra Stevenson to pay off. He's going to need either a goal line rushing attempt or a handful of targets. He got both of those yesterday. He played more snaps and Traveey on Henderson. Henderson had one more rushing attempt. Keep in my eyes on Ramondra this week because very late in that game, he left the game was kind of it was like there was like two plays left. So we'll monitor whether he is banged up. But if you're choosing between the Patriots running back, the perfect answer is probably starting a better backfield. Yeah. Yeah. But it's hard not to lean towards Ramondra Stevenson base of how things have gone in three games with the two of them together on the field. It just feels like you're playing whack a mole, like trying to guess which one of them is going to get the big week. Yeah. It kind of comes down to like what do you think is more likely to happen in the course of a single game. Yeah. Go line attempts for Ramondra and some targets or Traveey on Henderson, Ripsa, 25 yard touchdown. I lean. It's like a 60 40 lean towards the former meaning Ramondra, Christie. Yeah. Agreed for the bills. DJ Moore leaves this game. It's one of the injuries that Mike was referring to is that same shoulder injury he's been dealing with. Doesn't sound like his long term, but it does sound like there's a chance next Monday night when the bills go to L.A. to play the Rams huge game Monday night football. He will not be available, which would mean it's a key on Coleman show guys. That has one of the cool stories that I get at the bills lose yesterday. But he on Coleman by his own owners admission was basically a failed draft pick because the coach has got to involved in the process here. He was defending his GM brand to mean. He'll be one of the way for our targets this week. You know, great yesterday. He did. He was awesome. Yesterday was key on Coleman. Uh, Dalton concave guys. Full me once. Shame on you. Full me twice. Shame on me. Yeah. This one hurts. I mean, only three times his route participation dropped dramatically yesterday weeks one and two are very different than weeks three and four. Yeah. He, uh, Josh Allen had 33 passing attempts yesterday. Dalton concave ran a total of 17 routes for context. Khalil Shakir was most on the bills of 27. While key on Coleman will rightfully be a heavily targeted waiver person this week. Doesn't it just kind of feel like this is going to be the offense that will rotate between some weeks. It's going to be Dalton concave and we don't know when some weeks it's going to be key on Coleman. Some weeks it'll be the DJ more weeks. It kind of just feels like this. There is no number one alpha. There are guys that have stepped up when given certain opportunities. Yeah. But I don't think we are going to know weekend and week out, which one of them we can consistently count on outside of the DJ more, which we think we can if he's healthy. Yeah, I hear you on that.
And just till DJ Morris back, I do think someone's got to be the guy level of value in that game on Monday night should be a high scoring one just because Buffalo can't stop anybody. It seems right now James Cook, the last thing I'll say about this bill, steam, unless you guys want to enter the chat is James Cook steady day, 16.3 fantasy points, but we'll continue to say it until the cows come home between Josh Allen at the goal line and the bill is not throwing the ball much to James Cook and he had just two catch us yesterday. His ceiling is cap, he can't quite scrape into that top five ish running back range with the likes of Gibbs and B. John and Jonathan Taylor and Kenneth Walker, the third who are just doing it. It's such a high level. Right. By the way, Josh Allen, all time leading touchdown maker, scrimmage touchdowns for the Buffalo Bull. Not passing. Just touchdowns that machine. Unreceivable of all 32 franchises for him, one of them is a quarterback. It is, of course, Josh Allen back to back under Josh Allen level standards. Yes. Yeah. We've a long ways to go. And it's not like there's been a bunch of quarterbacks that have totally crushed it relative to where they were drafted. But if you are on the, it's okay to be patient at quarterback and not pay the full freight on Josh Allen. The fact that two out of his four weeks have been worth it is probably justification for that line. A lot of victory laps after week two, unreaching for Josh Allen and it was a little premature, you know, he, he has a history of this too, where when the games that matter most, they'll start running more and be super productive and put up huge numbers and then kind of level off a little bit and turn it over a little more and not be running as much and comes back to earth. So I thought that that narrative was a little carried away. We'll see. I could, it could prove right by the end of the season to your point, but right now it's, it's been 50 50. Let's talk about the Rams and Eagles. My friends, a narrative that I don't want to be right is about Jalen Hertz, just not being a good fantasy quarterback anymore guys. We obviously have real life quarterbacks. This was a really tough one, 12 for 27, 93 passing yards, two passing touchdowns that bailed them out only at five rushes for 18 yards as well, four designed rushes, four rushing yards on those designed rushes for what it's worth. Yeah, I do want to say that missing 40% of this offensive line, missing safe one, Barkley, missing Devonte Smith, missing Dallas Godter against a very good Rams defense. So I do want to put that perspective out there. This was a very tough situation to be dealing with, but sometimes you got to carry your team and they blew this one. You could control up by 10 in the fourth quarter. I think I speak for all or most Eagles fans, but this T shirt that I wore today, this is how it feels right now. Being Eagles fan life was good. Life was good. It was good. It's not feeling good right now. They're struggling. Unfortunately, as a part of that. It's in Sequan, Barkley got hurt, hamstring injury and ended up leaving this game. Doesn't feel great. So we'll continue to monitor that. I think Bigsby also got banged up. You did. Yeah. So it left with like three minutes in the game. He ended up going to the locker room. No info beyond that as of right now, but it could be the Will Shipley show in week five, which is a game across the pond in London. I don't know when they're traveling, but we'll see whether Sequan and Bigsby even make the trip. Yeah. If there's no Sequan, do you think that there is a running back that you and I, we may talk about Will Shipley as a part of this, would you want to start him this week, one of these two running back? I think if both are healthy, meaning Bigsby and Shipley, I prefer Tank Bigsby because he's a very talented runner is Tank Bigsby. He passes the eye test when he gets opportunity to these here. He had 14 for 55 yesterday. Yeah. Obviously, if he's out, then Will Shipley, just based off volume, I don't even know who their fourth running back is, Mike. Yeah. They'll, I don't know. Good question. Yeah. I don't know. Do Staley. But obviously, Dallas didn't trust him to make their roster. So Shipley's already been handling a lot of passing downwork anyway. So if he's also going to get 12 to 15 carries, yeah, there'd be some interest there. I wonder if the Eagles might be like a sleeper team to go after Tony Pollard or something, like if Barclay just can't hold up this year, they might have to address it. And it sounds like the Sequan Barclay injury is serious. Yeah. Not like, Hey, you know what? He tweaked it. He's going to be back practicing today. He's got a chance to play on Sunday, like this one looked nasty. You could see it. Right when it happened, he pulled a plane. It just looked like the Caleb Williams looked like the Thomas H and Caleb's timeline three to four weeks. H and goodness, at least four games plus a fifth game because of a by week. So this could be a month plus with no Sequan Barclay, who was already struggling. This equals offense is a mess right now. It is. Obviously not having Devante Smith didn't really help in this situation. We thought maybe Devante Wix was going to step up. It wasn't him. Sorry. What did I say? Devante. Oh, my bad. Don Tavian Wix. We thought maybe it would be the rookie Mackay lemon. It wasn't him. No, it was Darius Cooper. Michael. Yeah. I like the story, though, because he's the guy that they kept adding receivers in the offseason. Everyone had him as a cut. And it's like, you don't love him. You just stuck around for, I can't, I can't talk today. He stuck around for a while and they like him. He finally got a chance yesterday. Yeah. I was just feeling, feeling tough. I understand you're choked up. Let's move on and talk about the ramp so that we can give Mike some energy. I'll be able to breathe for a second. Not quite to the Titans. Not quite to the Titans, but we're going to talk about the ramps for a second here still. Matthew Stafford. Not good. Not necessarily. Yeah. 300 passing yards. That's the thing. Like he had two interceptions. Didn't get in the end zone. You know why? Because someone else stole all the touchdowns in this offense. Kyron Williams, RB1 right now on the week, 36.7 fantasy points, 16 carries, 80 rushing yards, and two touchdowns. Oh, knocked on yet. 13 targets. Yeah, what is that? For 10 catches and 67 yards as well, guys. Really good game script for that to happen, though. And the Eagles still have a good secondary. The Eagles defense still brought it yesterday, and when you're down big and you can't protect, you're going to dump the ball off. Kyron, what an effective player. Our colleague Bill Barrow made this point yesterday, by the way, about Matthew Stafford. Basically, like, we spent all this time litigating every, relitigating Drake May's 2025 season. We should probably be doing the same thing with Matthew Stafford, given the fact that and they're both now two and two and Stafford made some plays yesterday to help them win. But this was before both of those games yesterday. Correct. And then great himself. Now, you know, if you're judging his MVP legitimacy based last year, based off how he's played so far this year, the answer is not an MVP. He's also on a fantasy starter right now. No, Stafford. I mean, to go to great matchup next weekend's Buffalo, but he has not been nearly the player he was. Yeah, by the way, Kyron Williams just continuing to remind us that the shiny new toy is not always better. Everyone, because Blake Corms, a little younger, everyone wants him to take more and more and more because he makes flash. You play sometimes Kyron Williams just unbelievable, and he was like this at Notre Dame as well. He the only reason he fell a little bit is because he was so slow at the combine and that usually he was in the territory of speed at the combine that it was like guaranteed bus territory. And he's overcome that. He's not going to ever see even days like this. Those are probably career highs. He's never, I don't believe he's ever had a game like that. But he's still their primary pass catching, primary third down back and terrific on the ground as well. As you pointed out, two touchdowns. More targets than Puka who came back and was awesome. And that's amazing. I mean, Puka was ridiculous yesterday. And I don't think Davante's pedestrian day, four for 32 is, hey, Puka's back and all of a sudden Davante is really good. Nine targets. Yeah. Agreed. A great day. It was a super rainy yesterday in Philadelphia for a lot of that game. The passing offense is we're not crisp in the first half. All right. Now let's talk about Titans and Ravens. Titans made this one a game, guys. They did 20. Well, they scored like a minute 12. They tried really hard at the end. Guys, most weeks. Hey, they're starting to hang in there. Thank you, Michael. Thank you. There's progress from the first couple. That's all I was saying. They say the first like even two and a half games, you're like, oh, no. And they just started to be a more, they started to be competent. Yes. Could have what it should have here is sort of the interesting story of the, the Titans. First half, I'm sorry, first four games of this season. I think the only thing that matters for Tennessee is that independent of how the team is doing. Cardinal Tate looks like he's going to be a heck of a player in nine catches for 145 yards yesterday, both obviously led the team. There was a cut up going around on social media this past week. If him just basically toasting debacks left, right and center and not getting targets in those on those plays, but still like a very talented player. One of those guys can continue to rise throughout this season. Maybe the Titans often studies the ship. We are all on Will Tony Pollard get traded. Watch. What I don't know is that if Tony Pollard gets traded, are we certain that Taj A Spears is going to step into a gigantic role? I don't think so. Yeah. Same. Also because Taj A Spears like Tony Pollard going to be a free agent after this season. It doesn't seem like Spears is a big part of their future. And he's going to be going to stay on the field, the committee back. Nick Singleton will probably get a look. Yeah. So let's talk about the Ravens because they're the far more compelling side of this game for fantasy purposes. There are Henry does not get to a hundred yards and a rushing one of our red zone questions yesterday. He did find the end zone very early. So he has yet another day with 15 plus fantasy points. Yep. But Lamar actually gets hurt. Lamar leaves this game at halftime. And this was weird because I don't recall anything happening in the first half where all of a sudden Lamar limps off and we're immediately on Lamar injury watch at halftime. The Ravens announced he's questionable to return. Snoop hunt. Huntly plays the rest of the game. Lamar is reportedly day to day. Adam Schefter had a tweet this morning, he's going in for an MRI today. We do not know the extent of this Lamar injury beyond that. We just know that whether it's Lamar Jackson, whether it's Snoop Huntly, Zayflowers going to mash against people because God, he's off to a red hot start eight for one 18 yesterday for Zayflowers found the end zone as well. I know we say this about a lot of athletes. They feel like they're playing the game at a different speed, but Zayflowers really feels like he is playing the game at a different speed. So it's the Z show, it's the Derek Henry show and if he is healthy, of course, Lamar Jackson, so a Baltimore kind of a three man band. Mark Andrews did find the end zone. Yeah, it's going to say. Yeah, it's about.
time, although he got ended up with 13.7 fantasy points, that's his best game in his last 11 outing. So the ceiling is not what it used to be for Mark Andrews, but that's how we chase targets. Yep. Sure do. All right. That was a great segue. That's how we chase targets like Chase Brown. That's right. Let's talk about the Jaguars and Bengals. Unfortunately, in this one, I'm going to start with the big news, which was Jim, our chase getting hurt, had a concussion. Yes, he did. Well, I'm starting with the first one field, and then I'll get to the second one. Sorry, sorry, sorry. Miss the second half, Jamar chase. Unfortunately, T Higgins went off in place of Jamar chase, and then it also left on the final drive within a doctor injury. Have you ever had an a doctor injury? You know, Daniel, I'm not quite sure what a doctor is either. I guess, yes, but I don't know that. No, Michael, you trip over. Okay. That was a huge day for T Higgins. Let's just talk about this really quickly. He was unbelievable without Jamar chase 11 for 157 on 16 targets, 215 air yards. Feel that lead, all pass catchers. Sweet. Huge. That's why I heard in 57. That's right. How about the actual yard? That's right. Those were awesome. Those were also awesome as well. You have to be targeted downfield to get our totals like this. Chase Brown also does the thing that chase Brown does. You know how we just said, you want to notch of onto Williams who just had 13 targets. Kyron Williams was not going to not do that again. Chase Brown might do this again. 11 patches for 71 yards on 11 targets. This is in the bag for what it is that he does. This is wild. He had more targets and catches and he had rushing yard. Yes. Nine rushes for 10 yards, but he got 19.1 fantasy points. We love that. This is part of the reason why you draft a chase brown as the pass catching upside. Yeah. I mean, listen, he will find his way. He just will by the end of the year. We never said he was efficient on the ground. That's not a thing that we ever promised. But this team does score quite a bit, even though he didn't get in the end zone. So you love that from him when you're looking at Joe burrow, 23.7 fantasy points as well. If you decided to roll with him, then he was really great. Anything else from this offense from the Bengals? I don't know. My, uh, my rehearse. Yeah. Almost got there. Seven for 82 on nine targets for Dante Myers, but did not find the end zone play 9% of snaps. I feel like this year we're putting a big fantasy points. Yes. But we're not getting to the end zone. Yeah. And Dante Myers, we'll talk about waiver picks tomorrow. But if both right now, like if you're in a league that has rolling waivers, you can grab guys at any time. Yeah. Both Dante Myers and Micah Sikki should be on your radar. Sikki has 12.7 or more fantasy points in three or four games. Yes. That's because he scored a touchdown in three or four games. But he's like six six awesome athlete. Like, yeah, he and he has Joe burrow is his quarterback. Touchdowns are more likely to come from Micah Sikki than the average tight end on the other side with a Jaguar's basal to and keeps getting like a ton of volume. 19 touchdowns. Yes. Just just feel like the conversation we had on Thursday or Friday where it was like, it's not really a sell high. It's a sell video. That was it. That was it. 11.1 fantasy points. He's a huge part of the offense. He does touch the ball. A ton. He's there clearly. All the Chris Rodriguez was the one that got the rushing touchdown on a nice long run. I keep pointing this out. He's, he's, he's very gamescript dependent. They are still using four running backs. He doesn't have much passing. He's involvement Rodriguez to stealing touchdowns. If they're in games where they're more competitive, he's going to, the ceiling is just not going to be there. And it wasn't there yesterday. He didn't score a little under a hundred yards. We ended up. How many fantasy points? 11.1. 11.1. I mean, that's just what we're going to get. That's one of the concerns. I don't know if he's going to get like, he's going to be more than Tony Pollard. Like I, I don't know. Like if the offense, they're just going to have to keep winning and leading. And maybe they will. And they're three and one. They're a good team. I'm just nervous about his ceiling right now. That's, that's my concern. But he isn't okay for, he's like a fringe RB two. I just feel like he's a hair overvalued right now. Brian Thomas junior Jacobi Myers and Parker Washington almost combined for as many catches and receptions as Brenton Strange in this one, which was really great for fantasy managers that trusted either Jacobi Myers coming off of a big week or Parker Washington. I think we'll talk about him a little, little later on this week because he has started. I'm not sure that he is the elite high end wide receiver, too, that we talked about him as when you look at his box score over the last little bit. So we'll, uh, we'll dive into having been nearly as good. Just 23 passing attempts for Trevor Lawrence yesterday. So that explains a little bit of it. Uh, the Jaguars might need to play better teams for those two top receivers that have to actually like go off to do some things. Parker did see a lot of DJ Turner for what it's worth 57% of his routes. He's a standout corner. So that could be part of it. All right. Let's talk about Cardinals and giants. Who thought that there was going to be 60 points scored in this one. Well, maybe some of us. Yeah. Um, 54 until the last second of the game, Mike. Yeah. Sure was. Uh, let's talk through some of this. We'll start with the giant sides and say one of the game guys. Uh, James wins in 250 passing arts and three touchdowns, but two interceptions and zero rushing arts. So this is the full on James wins and experience and, uh, just hard to see him being a consistent fantasy option. We're not really worried about that. But what we are worried about is what we said the day he was named the starter, which is, can you get the ball into the hands of your skill guys? He has done that. Malik neighbors six for a buck 12 and a touchdown on seven targets. He did. He went down early on the shoulder and you're like, oh, don't miss time, but he was fine. Obviously had a big game. Also, we were a little nervous about Isaiah likely. Yep. Without Jackson Dart. Well, we don't have to be that worry now. 70 or six. Excuse me. 77 catches because seven catches for 66 yards on 12 targets in this game. I posted this on X last night. Uh, Isaiah likely is, I believe it is fifth or if you count prock hours, six in the NFL and target share right now. Wow. He is getting just pummeled with targets like you don't see from tight edge generally. He's up there in that tier with your McBride's and your Brock Bowers. Uh, so that's a good sign. He's certainly a line of block going forward. Malik, I feel it's an impressive touchdown as well, but we're not starting him for the moment in fantasy. Just three targets in this game. Uh, quick note on cam scataboo. It is what it's been. You're getting the rushing volume, not the passing game work. You need to touchdown 18 for 58. One target at eight yards played 62 percent of the snaps. It's not quite enough, uh, to be a fantasy star, but it's enough to consider him for your RB two spot. I have a thought. Can you go first? I feel like he fits into a category. It's pretty large right now, which is guys that you're starting only because you have to start them. What are the, it will be interesting one week for us to do the rankings where we just go until we get to the end of line up blocks and we see how many names I do that every week. That's what I do. I understand that. But I mean, like if you look at it in aggregate, right? Yeah. Like rather than you giving us the line up blocks game by game, it's like you see, wow, Mike has nine line up blocks and running back this week. Yeah. The numbers hopefully larger than like 18 or so, but hopefully it helps you visualize it because it just feels like this year has been. I would say in some ways defined by a number of players that were sitting here Monday through Friday, being like, well, you don't really want to start that guy yet. I have a choice though. Like really running back so high and then goes like this and then just kind of levels off to all those guys. There's like a big tears of candidates. So I hear you. I know what you're saying. Hemp's cataboos seems like a younger, more exciting version of David Montgomery. I just want to like put that out there because if he doesn't get in the end zone, he's not getting like a lot of receiving game work. Yeah. I hear you. I feel like they're using him a little bit like Derek Henry when John Harboh was in Baltimore in that way where he's getting all of this rushing volume, although Najia, instead of nine carries in this game. So did he score in this one? You know, you score, but I think you had a great fantasy point because it's not much in the passing game right now for came scataboos. Other side, guys, we were, we should have been higher on Michael Wilson. They paid him for a reason. He's a real deal. This guy looks awesome. Seven for 95 on 13 targets in this game. I believe he's up to 10 there. 11th wide receiver and fantasy points for the season after a little bit of a slow start. He's been great. Trey McBride 12 targets. That's great. 31 yards. Not as good, but 12 targets. 32 yards and two cuss words from the ref. Yeah. Yes. Yeah. That's not great. So McBride. Oh, I'm keep firing him up. Marvin Harrison found the end zone early on in the day, but he had four targets. So don't take that as, oh, he's back. We can start him again. No, you can't. It's a it's a mess right now. He's basically their fifth in line for targets in this offense. And a very interesting that Adam Schefter mentioned him as a potential trade candidate yesterday. He had five names on that on his list at him. And three were wide receivers, Jerry Judy, Marvin Harrison, Brian Thomas Jr. I was wondering about Calvin Ridley as well. He's going to be calling them this week. The chiefs. Yeah. Yeah. I was wondering. I mean, get me Jerry Judy to Casey or or really any of those guys would be fantastic. Last thing here at guys for me is the backfield. Very disappointed. Yeah. Are your grievances right now? Yeah. Jeremiah love 14 carry 63 yards. He lost eight yards on his loan target in this game. He was out snapped 34 to 29 by Teller out here who had an impressive touchdown. I'll give it to him. It was like 20 yards out. It was a nice play. No, I will say this. I was very frustrated with how little Jeremiah love was involved in the second half, but he did pull up earlier on in the in the half. So that might find after the game. But yeah, that probably was why he was limited. Also, the coaching staff said that he it was like a they weren't going to use the running back into passing game at all down the stretch and come back mode. He just wanted to pass block. So Tyler Lger was out there to pass block. But it's disappointing. We want to see him utilize a little bit more. What might the trend I've noticed with love is he comes out. He's average in like seven yards per carry and you check in and it's down to six yards per carry that it's 5.4. Am I the end of the game? It's like 3.9. It's like going the wrong direction. They have to find a way to maximize him and maybe getting involved in the passing game is how you do that, but one target is not going to cut it. He had at least three in the first three games of the season. So for now, for in charge, he too. I mean, he's in that chair. We just talked about he that's where he belongs for the moment. Yeah, I mean, obviously we all had a smath miss in front of Jeremiah love. We know Mike loved him coming in.
I think I'll get there, but it's not happening. Yeah, but you know, like, we'll say long ways to go this season, long ways to go in his career. But this was one of the arguments against taking a third overall. Was that like you paid a serviceable running back? Yeah. This off season, and we'll see, you know, our Valries or some of the guys that were sitting there available at number three would have been pretty intriguing in Arizona. Let's go to the Colts and Commanders over in London, Daniel Colts and Commanders. That was pretty good. Right. That one wasn't too bad. Colts win this one 30 to 13, and it was really mostly just Jonathan Taylor. What else is new? That's sort of what the Colts offense is right now. 20 rush attempts, 95 yards and two rushing touchdowns absolutely smashed RB seven on the week. So far, there's not a single pass catcher that we want in this one, Mike, Josh Downs, your guy ran the most routes of all pass catchers, but it just turned into only four targets. Very disappointing. He, I have a feeling I might be spending that wheel over there this week because Josh seems just my wide receiver and that, I think it's clenching, isn't it? I don't know. I'd like to think so. I think it's clenching. I'm also clenching every time I start Tyler Warren because it is just not what I thought it was going to be. Clenching or clenching. Clenching. Clenching. Clenching. Yes. Yeah, you might be doing both. We'll see. But Tyler Warren, not terrible. You and I talked about this before the show. He fits into this conversation of like he hasn't been bad enough to have cost you at the position, but he's not done what he was billed to do coming out of the draft. It turned out the delta between Tramik Brad and Brock Bowers on the rest of the field. I should have been around like four rounds. Those guys were just aliens. On the other side, anything that you guys want to talk about because of that offense right now really is just John and then Taylor. I know that Daniel Jones got in the end zone as a rusher. Yeah. Terrible. We just need more. We need more from passing. And that's really the problem with Warren. I mean, he's still at 9.1 points. He ran 25 routes. He was right up there with the team leaders. When you throw for 143 yards on 34 attempts, it's not going to cut an incredible matchup. Yes. Yes. Yes. That's the problem. So we need better from Jones. On the other side, Marcus Marriotto, one of our favorite streaming quarterbacks this week got hurt very early in the game last week. They're a great start. Yes, started three. You'll want it 46 yards passing in the 35 yard rush by the way, and four attempts in one carry. So frustrating. So almost 100 yards. Not great. Unfortunately. And the rest of the offense kind of suffered from there and out to be honest. I only scored 13 fantasy points field. Can you tell me how you say the quarterbacks last name? Ethan Kaliakaminas. Ethan Kaliakaminas. Okay. Great. From Rutgers, right? Rutgers. Yeah. I might probably do that. Oh, yeah. Of course. First Rutgers quarterback to throw for at least 3,000 yards since like 2003 last year. Okay. Offense didn't look great. And running backs didn't look great. Nothing there looked great, honestly, for the commander squad. I don't have a big takeaway from this game. But if there's no Marcus Marriota and no Jayden Daniels, most of this offense outside of, you know, a very good wide receiver is probably going to be a stay away. At your McCorn, obviously missed this game. He got hurt late in the week. I think the only thing that I'm keeping an eye on and I don't really think this is going to happen. But when you're one in three and you're really struggling on offense, is there any chance that like Austin, Neckler might eventually work his way into the lead back role for this team? He was far more efficient than Bill Croskey, Married, who had nine rushes for 15 yards, small sample size, four carries for 29 yards for Austin, Neckler. Yep. We're just sitting there talking with all these running backs that stink and have no value. Maybe Austin, Neckler eventually creeps up the rankings. Not sure I'd buy that. Yeah. I think it might be a three. Remember shot whites out. It was out. So they'll probably use all three guys going forward. I would guess. By the way, Jayden Daniels did not go on IR. It's possible he plays next week. And it's also, I would say likely tearing McColar in place because he was pushing to play in this game. They ended up rolling him out. So good chance. He's back next week, which is good. Yeah. Actually, neither team that played across the C's yesterday across overseas yesterday is taking their biweek next week. Let's talk about Jets Bair's guys, I owe Tyson, Baygent, and Apology. He got the dub. He was good. I mean, yeah. I thought he was good. He was good. He was really good. Yeah. He got the ball in the hands of the guys who wanted him to as well. He also handed the football off to Kalmanunga. He made a lot. A lot. A lot, guys. Let's talk about that, Michael. Yeah. Let's do that. Jets on this one, uh, because I have a fun fact for all for you here. We'll be the judge of that. A reason why your, I know your, your DFS, uh, line up a stack with Jets. Oh, you got burned by, you got burned by an historical low volume game here. Yeah. Jets ran 32 offensive play in this game. I saw it. I looked back at the past decade. That is the second fewest in a game. The only one lower was the Raiders last year in week seven when they ran 30. I believe it was a blowout loss to the chief. So, uh, the bad news is that burned you. This week, the good news is that it's not going to happen generally on average. They're going to, uh, average almost, they're going to play, uh, almost double the amount of snaps. That's how extreme this was. So don't get too, uh, worried about this one. Obviously, there were duds across the board down game from Garwielson's Kenyans, Cadek. That one stinks four targets, which was actually a good target share considering, but didn't catch any of them in this game. It did run 12 of 18 routes. So four targets was a 27% target share. Great. That's ridiculous. I know. So it, this one is really unfortunate. It was the defense could not stop the opposing running game as we'll get to in a second had that not happen. You would have gotten maybe another 15, 20 plays, uh, at least and could add a decent fantasy day. So really unfortunate in the backfield. Again, this one very inflated by them running. So 32 plays. Yep. Yeah, 32 plays. Braille and Allen out snaps. Isaiah Davis, 30 to two in this one. He had 67 yards and 16 touches. Davis will play more if they run a normal amount of snaps. But either way, we know who the lead back here is. If Breeze Hall remains out, good chance he returns this week. But we'll keep an eye on that. If not, Braille and Allen in the flex conversation, anything there? Nope. How much does say after you run 32 offensive snaps? It was really bad. Uh, bear side. Tyson Beijing. You mentioned it. 25 of 34, 268 yards and not throw a touchdown because he didn't have to one interception in the game. He was fine. But we're not going to use him in fantasy. If he starts again in week five, uh, but a little bit of a hot hand in the Chicago backfield here. I, as you mentioned, 30 carries 146 yards, two touchdowns was not involved in the passing game. So I'm still need to be, he didn't need to be, but what's going to say that? Here's the thing. I love you out snapped the Andre Swift 4832 in this one. I don't think that's going to sustain. It's generally been this with show. In this case, they just wanted to keep running monon guy with game script, and he was out of that fumble too. Yeah. That too. So I think it'll go back to the season reliable veteran de Andre Swift. So not getting too carried away, especially again, because monon guy does not play a big role in the passing game. Yes. I thought you were going to talk. I was going to, I was ready for it. I am. I'm going to the receivers right now. So you were right now in front of that Roma doonsay, six for 94 and seven targets with their burden, 63 yards on four catches on six targets. I said that backwards close to loveland, six for 57 on nine targets, got the ball to all three guys, nine, six and seven targets for those three guys. quarterback controversy. Right, guys? No. You like to see it? We like to see it. Those are fine days. Nothing I just said is spectacular. I think the one that gives me that is most exciting to me is Roma doonsay, finally, like a great game. They featured him. He played a lot. Had the 94 yards and seven targets. It's good. It makes you feel better about starting him going forward. And we'll see whether Caleb Williams is available next week. He hasn't practiced since that hamstring injury. I would guess no. The bears are in green Bay against the pack wonders and speaking of the packers, they improved to two and two. But I'm not sure I've seen a more depressed locker or magical win in quite some time. They beat the buck 17 to 14 wouldn't say this would qualify as a pretty one for green Bay. Chris Brooks running back out her, but this backfield is just a complete disaster. Marshawn Lloyd with nearly 10 fantasy points, but you want no part of it. The wide receivers are quiet yesterday as well. Matthew Golden bailed out by a short touchdown catch. The Christian wasn't at his first real dud of the season because Jordan love continues to struggle 197 passing yards and 30 passing attempts. This passing office just looks all out of whack. Tucker craft got a touchdown yesterday, initially ruled out of bounds. It was overturned upon replay review. For the packers, like going into next week against the bears, who have been better against bad competition over the past three weeks, defensively craft will of course be one of our top 10 tight ends and will still rank Watson is a top 25 wide receiver golden a little bit further behind there. Yeah. I think they're both line up locks at this point. I mean, Matthew Golden has a comfortable target edge on Christian Watson so far. He's not terribly behind in fantasy points anymore either. I mean, he's wheeling them in because he's a little bit more consistent in usage. So obviously, Watson, the more explosive of the two. So yeah, both of those guys belong in lineups right now and Tucker craft right back in the back end. Titan one conversation. Is he gets healthier and healthier? No choice but to throw the ball out that back end tight end one conversation and unfortunately starts at like tight end three. Right. I mean, we've got two guys in the rest. They're in a very, very different category. For the buccaneers, obviously, the jail and dangles stepping in for Baker Mayfield of it all asked a lot of questions, right? Can he support any of the pass catchers? Well, the answer would be if you like 9.1 fantasy points for the most amongst your wide receivers in tight end, then sure, otherwise, your normal in the answer is no mecca. A book a yesterday, 3.3 fantasy points, two catches 13 yards, Jeff Tarantin actually mentioned on fantasy focus countdown. He did. And he thinks that Chris Godwin could be in for a decent day. The box allowing him to just do things after the catch with a monster day, but seven targets was a team high six for 31. This office is going to really, really struggle for as long as jail and dangles is the quarterback. And that might still be the case on Thursday night when they play the Cowboys. Do we know are still a very, very bad defense, but dangles, everything felt like it was very short near the line of scrimmage, a bucky Irving ended up with 16 rushes for 61 yards, zero in the passing game whatsoever for Bucky and Michael.
to this. What happens when you have a more athletic quarterback, you don't see as many dump offs. How many rushes were jailing Daniels yesterday? Eight or 55 yards. So one more concern for Bucky Irving. He gain will. Well, not even that gain wall squirt or receiving touchdown, but they decided, Hey, we need to use Marshawn Tucker and he scored the rushing touchdown. It's a problem. It's the Irving hard to bench with that rushing volume. And you have to imagine on Thursday, they're going to try to get him a couple targets. But this is a tough spot right now. He's going the wrong direction. Kenny Gaywell did find the end zone, but still not close to our fantasy oh, let's move ahead and talk about dolphins and Vikings guys. We're going to be pretty quick on this one. There was one touchdown that was scored in this whole game. And it was by Ali Gordon. Here's the thing about Ali Gordon, nine carries for a hundred yards in a touchdown. And then also had two receptions on two targets for zero yards. Yeah. I think Ali Gordon is more mirage than real with the way that he turned that. I just want to ask you guys when you see this game because he scored 18 fantasy points. He's going to be RB 13. And he looked pretty good last week. Once he took over for divine H and people are going to have this emotional response to him looking good against the Vikings. Is this a sell high moment? If you have Ali Gordon on your spot. Yes, if you can, absolutely. Okay, H and obviously will miss the full year. So it's going to be Ali Gordon's opportunity here. But this might be the best game he has all season. No, they only team. No surprise. That has not held a lead for a single second all year. They have been tied or trailing every play this year. So Miami's game scripts going to be not favorable to Ali Gordon. The entire offense is this day away. Yeah. But if Chris Bell's big toe was a quarter of an inch smaller. That one hurts to. Yeah, look for those that don't know. He had this awesome and beautiful long touchdown. It was ruled illegal touching because he had stepped out of bounds just prior to actually just barely like like by this much. My fingers are basically touching. By the way, Jalen Wright was the starter for Miami. I think I'm a shot. And then the hot hand was Ali Gordon. He ran away with it. So I mean, maybe next week, Jalen hurt, adjard to Jalen hurt. Jalen hurts is not in the hot hand right now. Maybe Jalen Wright is the hot hand. And he's the guy that leads the way. But I do expect him to try to utilize a committee going forward. So I'm with you. And also he had two targets and nine carries. Yeah, not great. Not like he had heavy volume by any means. On the other side, there was no Justin Jefferson in this one. We were looking at could Kyler look okay against the Miami Dolphins? The answer is no. 11.4 fantasy points was not good. Yeah, you can drop Kyler Murray. I do not believe he's in the streaming conversation. And Malik Willis to potential sleep or quarterbacks health. You can put to sleep for fantasy. Not going to be your starter. I saw someone non X post like the Twitter on Twitter. Are the Vikings going to be the first 4-0 team ever to fire their coach. The offense is so bad. Like they're they're just hanging on and on these games. How do they win? They scored five field goals in this one, right? Well, the real has been that's right. He is unbelievable. TJ Hackinson actually was great in this one. And not very many people started him. 13 targets, 13 catches for a hundred and 19 yards. It could have been 120 yards in a touchdown. Yeah, I can say at the end of the game took a knee at the one yard line. A lot of people were frustrated by that. I think that might be because the Vikings have been so bad on offense that it would have at least felt good to win this game. 22 to 10 is opposed to 15 to 10. But I'm at the smart play by rock. It could be something to hear with Kyler to Hawkinson. No, remember, he kept a train McBride busy in Arizona. Maybe there's something there with Hawkinson. At least something to keep an eye on if you need tight and help. And by the way, until Jordan Mason is back, which is soon, Aaron Jones. Showed 20. Eat opportunities. Apologies if you mentioned that, but just wanted. I did not know that I did not need opportunity. I thought he was going to get in the end zone. 20 rushes for 94 yards against the dolphins was less than I had expected for Aaron Jones. No, but he's going to be he was in or very close to my top 10 in week five. Yeah. All right. Let's move ahead and talk about the chiefs and the raiders. Lots to talk about here. Let's just take a minute to appreciate the brilliance of Kenneth Walker, the third. How good is it? Have to feel if you're Kansas City where you spend big on one guy this off season. Yep. And he's been unbelievable. Yeah. Walker at 177 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns. He's now right there in that territory of Jamir Gibbs and B. John Robinson. That's how good he has been for the chiefs, even with just one target and one catch for two yards yesterday. He's been so incredibly efficient run the ball. Other than that, a lot of question marks run of this chiefs team. Patrick was fine. 17 fantasy points, totally serviceable. 225. It was like a very sporting. 225 passing yards, two passing touchdowns, no rushing yards, no turnovers, 17 fantasy points for Patrick Mahomes. So rushy rice on his first target that ended up getting nullified because of a penalty catches a wide receiver screen. This is early in the game. You're like, let's go. We want this, right? Immediately grabs the hamstring. Lymphs to the sideline stays on the sideline for a while. And you're like, all right, maybe we avoided a disaster gets becomes questionable. They come out of the second half. He's now called doubtful. He eventually or he never returns, which they never ruled them out, but he never returns. There aren't a buy next week and some early reporting suggests it's not significant. It's more tweaked. That being said, a gigantic bummer guy was trending all the way up. It's just zero fantasy points yesterday. All right. Well, tycoon Thornton steps up and do a much bigger role. Best game of his life. Yeah. Five catches 111 yards, two touchdowns, and just a disgusting and so sad injury to see dislocate his ankle. You knew it was bad when you see it. He's gonna miss a ton of time for the chiefs. So it's now the Xavier worthy and Jalen Royals and who else show amongst. Everyone wanted him to happen in the preseason. So maybe now he'll get a chance. So the chief's wide receiver room is incredibly thin. Now if Russia writes has a real chance to play when they come back for their from their week five by I don't think the chiefs are going to be doing something dramatic right now. But keep an eye on this name who has already been mentioned and linked to the chiefs. Tyree kill. Could he be back? And if you think there's a chance he could come back and you're interested in beating him, beating somebody else to waivers to get Tyree kill. If you either have a saint or a falcon tonight left on your bench. Yep. Or you have that is either not useful to you or a Travis H and you haven't moved that player to injured reserve yet. You can grab Tyree kill right now. If you want, I'm not certain that's going to be happening any happening anytime soon. But you can imagine that if it does happen, there will be a lot of people hoping that Tyree kill can rediscover some of his form. Is this what Patrick Mahomes is going to be like 250 and two touchdowns. Give or take you guys think on most weeks. Yeah. Like I know we talk about him as a potential starter. But I like unless he has the rushing upside that we saw a little bit last year, this is what he has looked like over the last two years. More often than not. And I'm not sure that the with what KW three is as the running back here. And now that you see the pieces he has to throw to, I'm not sure that Patrick Mahomes is going to continue to be a top seven quarterback. Yeah, once Walker cools down and he'll come back to her to some extent. He's great. Don't get me wrong. Like, but he's putting up some extreme eight yards per carry. I mean, like, come on. He's going to come back to her to some extent. Maybe that leads to more passing for mom. So I think I'll be a little better than this. But yeah, I mean, whatever he's fine. He's a starter. He's fine. He's fine. He's less like the Raiders here for a second. Kirk cousins, once again, solid 22.6 fantasy points, 365 through the air and two passing touchdowns. There are two players that really matter for the Raiders and fantasy football. And the third that might be finding a way to hang around Ash and Gen T, we had the good conversation late last week about them, really inefficient running game and the really, really, really crafty and well-designed passing game, which one of those versus rules out. The answer on Sunday was the passing game. Six catches, 68 yards for Gen T on eight targets. That's awesome. Just just 58 rushing yards on 15 carry. So under four yards of pop, he had 18.6 fantasy points. Mike and I had that board bet about him being a top 10 running back or not rest of season. Just have to love the scheme is actually tapping into a player's awesome strengths. Brock Bowers, my goodness gracious. Six for 86 and a touchdown yesterday. Yeah. I know we do this all the time. If you could redraw for the rest of the season, he's probably a top 10 player in fantasy football. Because in two weeks, he has absolutely smashed. If you guys had to pick between he and Tramock bride, I think it's pretty clear. You're taking Brock Bowers right now because this office is just better than it was. Lot out in period. These guys are comparable talents. I'm not sure which one is more talented. It's very, very close. It's not a negative Tramock bride thing. It's more of like Cliff Kubiak. Clint Kubiak knows what he is doing with this Raiders offense, which also could have 10 targets for Michael Mayer yesterday because all the receivers are hurt. Jack Bash got hurt last week. Jalen Taylor suffered a concussion yesterday. This Michael Mayer thing could be real for next week against New England. Yeah. I sometimes you have to adjust your thinking when you're evaluating situations like this. Cause oftentimes you're like, think about Andrews and likely. It's not like ones that receive or ones to tight end. It didn't really work that way. Like likely would play more if Andrews is out. Bowers doesn't affect mayor. Mayor's their tight end. Bowers is basically a wide receiver. When you're evaluating usage for these players, that's how you have to look at it. I've had to adjust my thinking when projecting target shares. I'm pessimistic. Mayor is going to get enough consistent usage to be a starter consistently in fantasy. But Bowers obviously is an elite option. Okay. We have some news, by the way. This is a perfect timing here. This is crazy. Adam Shaftor just tweeted this moment to go developing. Tyree Kills agent Drew Rosenau said he plans to begin negotiating a deal for his veteran wide receiver with multiple teams today. One of those teams of the chiefs who have maintained contact with Hill. I would anticipate Tyree, potentially signing with the team over the next few days, Rosenau said about that. Yeah. Well timed. Wow. Well timed. All right. Just your first reaction. Sign. You know, if you have a roster.
for spot, do it right now. Yeah. I look, he's 32. I don't know if he's going to be a consistent fantasy option. But with this offense and with the opportunity, I mean, look, how high can he go? If first you race is healthy, I think he goes number two, he could be their number two wide receiver, self-traffic, so you're still running it through Walker. So I'm a little pessimistic. This is going to be a guy you feel comfortable starting each and every week, but should he be on rosters? Yes. I do think walk me through a quick exercise. We've got these two teams playing tonight. Would you drop because you can only drop players from this team, right? We've got the running backs, Kendra Miller, Alvin Camera, would you drop either of those two guys? Not Camera. Man, would you drop Devon delay? Probably not. I wouldn't. No, not delay. Maybe Kendra Miller, Kendra Miller, we draw, I would keep John Johnson. I would keep Devon, Valle, I would keep Rice, Olave, I would keep shut. Okay. So then on the other squad, that's I think that's it for the Saints, right? Ryan Robinson, yes. If you've, Ryan Robinson, you could drop by on pits. If you're not starting Kyle pits and you're just bashing him, that's, that's, okay. So there's a handful of names from tonight's game that you can maybe consider if you had them on rosters to try and get ahead of that waiver conversation that we would reiterate. You can add Hill because he's a free agent. Correct. He is not a game. That's why you can just add him without waiting for waiver. Yeah. I got interesting one here. I've got Kendra Miller and it's the warmly. It's just ridiculously thinner running back in my team. Four of my first eight picks are already out for the entire season. Now that feels sometimes just be it sucks. Yeah. Kendra Miller, we're getting, we, we are down this week. We need a miracle of like we need the greatest miracle fantasy history of this. You have to drop him. Like what is the upside, I'm sorry, I didn't mean it. But what's the upside of Kendra Miller versus what's the upside of what Tyree Keel can maybe be for Patrick moment? But like here's where it is. Is it's like Kendra Miller might get you like six to 10 fantasy points a week, maybe, maybe, maybe and the running backs that will be available on waivers this week are going to be even worse than that. And we've been hammered by injuries. They're tough one issue for upside or you go for the floor. That's it. It's an interesting conversation. I think the answer is probably, I mean, if it's my choice, you know, laterally and I have a co-partner, I probably will be dropping Kendra Miller and adding Tyree Keel and just rolling for shooting for if you know that you've already dealing with so many injuries, you got to make up some grounds somewhere that means making some tough decisions. By the way, really quickly is changing back, but you had just talked about Brock Boa was basically being a wide receiver, ran 71% of his snaps out of a wide receiver spot. So I wonder if he's already been added in this league. That'd be very young. Oh my God. I didn't see any leagues that popped out. I like he's available in our our knockout leagues and some Michelle I like FFC. He's available. But like that's a 10 team league. I don't know. So nothing popped out to me quickly. I just wanted to see if I had a real life example. But I don't all let's talk chargers and Seahawks. Sorry. Broncos and 49ers. We're going to do that instead, guys. Broncos 49ers might this one actually could be kind of quick. It was kind of ho hum for the 49ers, CMC, Debo, Kittle, all found the in zone. Mike Evans, five for 76 on eight targets. Brock Perty, two touchdowns and 30 rushing yards. That's about what you want from the niners. And you'll take it against this really good Denver defense. So I really have anything else I need to. This is clearly, we're clearly at a sell high point for CMC. sell high. Okay. Hold on. Tell me why. Tell me more. Like Christian McCaffrey has four touchdowns this year. Okay. Okay. First one was a one yard rushing touchdown. Second one was a one yard rushing touchdown. Third one was a one yard rushing touchdown. Fourth one was a run yard one yard rushing touchdown does not have a single carry over 25 yards this year. And hasn't had a single game over 45 receiving yards this year. They had two cake games this last two. Like I know that this one was tough. But like they had two cake games. A touchdown dependent running back. If he's not getting in the end zone, he's not getting the receiving volume that you guys think that like it's, it's this is what makes him elite is that part because we already knew he was inefficient from a rushing perspective. He's not getting elite CMC rushing receiving volume right now. He's RB nine in fantasy. When you look at all the other top 10 running backs, he is ninth out of 10 when it comes to snap percentage because the 49ers just aren't using him as much. I think he's still tier two. I mean, he had that. You drafted him and it's a top five. I know that. But I mean, who are you trading him for? Are you going to get? Ken Walker? Sure. Do that. But like, I would trade him for a wide receiver. I don't think you could do a running back. I don't I'm not sure who would do a running back for running back. How do you trade? Yeah, for why be stacked at running back? How do you get away? CMC? Well, that's kind of where I'm at is I can't find new. I have so few running backs on all my teams. And I'm like, I still feel like such a good floor running. Is there any is there any running back that you think is either trending up or is like close to CMC, but you trust that player more rest of season? Like are you more Derek Henry than CMC rest of season? I'm more. Derek Henry for Kyron Williams. Yes. You prefer Kyron Williams. I prefer Kyron Williams over CMC rest of season. Yeah. Okay. He was one of the names. We're going to get more into the CMC for action. Jenny. I'm thinking about it. For Javonte. CMC. I would do Javonte. I think so. I'm not sure about Chuba, but I think I would do Javonte. I think well, let's say this because I have an interesting nugget for this conversation, maybe because I think we need to look at. He's got a little strength to schedule. We're going to talk about that. I think a little bit this week because I'm going to drop something new on this schedule. We and notable one from a cafe. So we'll get to that at some point. But yeah, we have a couple more games here. So let's get through Denver here. If that's okay. Yeah, let's do it. RJ Harvey was a notable here for me. 10 targets, 10 catches, 68 yards. No one else had 50 receiving yards in the game, but RJ Harvey just not sustainable. He's not going to see a number of that high and doesn't get enough in the running game, but backfield to avoid right now. Dylan Waddle found the end zone. You're lucky because he only had 35 yards. Coral and Sutton. I don't know what is going on there. Fellas, but six targets. That's good. But only four yards on one catch. Welcome to dumpsville. Yeah. dumpsville for sure. Pat Brian got injured in this one. We'll keep an eye on that one, but it looks like probably some mistime there, considering he was carted off. Maybe that helps Sutton get going, but I'm not confident right now. JK Dobbins, by the way, just to put a bow on him 31 percent of snaps 52 total yards. Again, avoiding that backfield. Love that, Michael. Good recap there. Let's talk. Seahawks and chargers. Hey, just say George Kato scored again. What a beast. Yeah. Oh, that was great. Sweet. It's beautiful. I mean, you were trying to tirey kill. I know I was talking about it. But sorry, I was. Let's talk about the Seahawks really quickly. We'll start on that side. JSN kind of came down to Earth a little bit, guys. But JSN came down to Earth a little bit, guys. Hi for 76. Sorry. You just mentioned. Yes. Mike doesn't think it's why Mike's not into comedy. I was thinking I'm gonna get mad about this next day. It's like it's hilarious how JSN had five catches for 76 yards, which if you do the math, would put them on pace over the course of a season for 85 catches. I'm like 1,300 yards and we're like, man, I really saw. That's a really tough game. I mean, that's what Daniel's doing with CMC to like only 80 yards and 18 opportunities. Man, that's garbage. I didn't draft the guy top five to be RB nine. But I hear what you're saying. CMC or JSN is going to be amazing. Only six targets in this one. What are you going to say? Yeah. But she she found the end zone. Honestly, what happened was what I had been advocating for the entirety of the off season in Jadorian price was the role of the running back for the Seattle Seahawks. And it finally materialized. Yeah. It just was with the manual Wilson this week. Yeah. But this is what I was saying. He talked about this last week. This is what it was for him in this offense. And if there could have been one guy to be the guy is the lead back without Zach star been I assumed it was going to be the first round pick. Not one of these guys. But a manual Wilson absolutely smashed 21 for 81 rushing yards and a touchdown plus three for 39 and a receiving touchdown as well guys. He looked fantastic. I started him last week in a league where I lost HN. I subbed him in because that team every player I have this hurt much like your FFC team. Yes. And I had a huge week. I you know, the lead back like the lead ball carer with what he's had recently. All you need is a couple targets. We talked about this on this show last week. And you can put together a huge fantasy game just because the Seattle offense runs through that game much like you thought with would be the case with price if he lived up to expectations. Just miss the player. Good for a manual Wilson. Yeah. He looks fantastic in this one. We'll keep rolling with him until we hear otherwise on some of these other guys. Let's talk about the other side though. How many chargers are we legitimately still on after this week? No, I mean, Lad Makanke left early with the foot injury. Let's say that. So he unfortunately got banged up just in Herbert droppable. You don't need to even have him on your roster anymore. Right. Maureen Hampton finishes RB 20. He's going to stay probably where we had him this week. Maybe in that like flex conversation, RB 20 to 25. Most staff out of his own team. Yeah. Two targets though. Hey, he's sweet. He's, I think he's still clearly the most talented out of everyone. Although, Keith Mitchell clearly looks talented when he's on the field, but I'm carried him. But I don't want to start anyone else. I don't want to run a lesson. I don't want any of the past catchers. I texted you guys last night. I look in a head to chargers Broncos next week. I think there's zero line up locks in that game, which is hard to believe. That's insane. Broncos, chargers and hero line up locks. I think I'm going to go by adjusting her jersey and hanging up my house next to my Anthony Richards. Let's not go that far. Oh, that's not you. Come on now. Interestingly said that one week, we were, come on now. Yeah. Man, yeah, it's a good point. Richardson did have a game. I want her two good games. Let's move ahead. We'll keep watching this Lad Makanke injury as well, but maybe something to just keep in mind. We had us one. Way down the list. Yeah. Last one. Lions and Panthers field going to take over. Oh, Daniel. I am sorry. If you started Tedero Macmillan last night, you probably won your fantasy matchup. As the good news is, when you face off against the lion's defense, literally anything can happen. How about this for T Mac 45.2 fantasy points 14 catches for 192 yards and two touchdowns. He had nine for 147 in the first half kept it up in the second half. I mean, his lion's defense is making the Cowboys defensive last
year. Look good. I'm sorry, Daniel. No, don't be sorry. I agree with you. Second in the NFL in Saxon. That's all they do. Well, everything else is just getting bloodletted by opposing offenses. So T Mac absolutely dominates. Yeah, Tuba Hubbard, ridiculous. He was the best running back in terms of fantasy points last night in this game. 25.9. By the way, that was on the ground, like the lines in the past. One catch decent yards. Yeah, yeah, a lot of times they've been decent against running backs on the ground. He crushed the line. He crushed it. Bryce Young had 21.5 fantasy points, but he absolutely had his way. He had 329 passing yards. I think maybe the most intriguing way for wire out of this upcoming week is Jacobi percent. They play against the Lions next week. Yeah. We are talking about quarterbacks, wide receivers, running backs, even tight ends in an entirely different light when they play the Lions. I'm sorry. It just it pains me for you, Daniel, because this defense is just so bad. I don't know where the answers come from. There is a chance we unlock Marvin Harrison, Jr. for fantasy management. He might even be good next week. Wow. Correct. With the Lions, like everything else is like pretty chalky, to be honest. I'm out of kind of. Yeah. I'm on raw eight for 70 came through. Yeah. That's right. We'll talk about that in a second. Jameer Gibbs had 17.7 when that's like an awful week. It tells you how ridiculous the player is. I think with I'm on raw. He had only eight catches for only 75 yards. It feels like the JSN conversation of a moment ago. Yeah. Really, dude. Yeah. Sorry. Every once in a while, Superman only wears his cape partially. But Sam Laporte had a huge night last night. He had eight for 84 on 13 targets with a pair of touchdown, a touchdown, excuse me. And James Williams. Finally, JMO. There we go. They seem to make it. We set it certain effort for him early in the game. Six for 102 for JMO had a long catch for nearly 50 yards last night. You got to just ride that way, baby. Ride that way with James and Williams. But four hundred and twelve passing yards for Jared Goff. We mentioned both starting corners going down for the Panthers this week, opened up the window for Jared Goff to have a big day. Both quarterbacks up over 20 fantasy points. Bryce Young had the fewest fantasy points of any quarterback against the Lions in the game this season. And it's well at 21.5. He's a top six quarterback going into Monday night football. And he was the worst quarterback in any game against the Lions so far this season. Star is wild. By the way, Lions, you want to win games on your last like two or three series, maybe you used your mere Gibbs one time, maybe give them one touch in the game. They didn't and they lost some curious things like the game. That was surprising. I didn't feel great. Let's dive into Monday night football here. Really quickly, guys, Atlanta Falcons taken on the New Orleans Saints. I think for it. Lanets pretty clear. It's like, well, Kyle Pitz ever get going. Yes. We've saw. Okay. So now Bajana's back. Yeah. And we saw Drake London be unlocked with Michael Picks, Michael Panics, which we had talked about. It's just does Kyle Pitz hold value still up still for us at the tight end spot. Yeah. Saint side. I'm just watching the running backs. I want to see what they do because H and his on IR. So he's at least four games. We have to see if one of these guys can separate just enough to be flex worthy, maybe RB two worthy. I think that Alvin Camarri is most likely, but there's going to be a lot of other country Miller or C. Donaldson. So that's what I'm watching here. Yep. Are you taking in this one, guys? I am taking. Oh, yeah. Saints, of course. Yeah. Saints. The game is in New Orleans. This is the 20 year anniversary of taking the game. I'm taking the. I'm a dummy. I just fell again. That's it. I like it. I like it. I'm taking the things. By the way, the showdown of the night. This is Mike where I you're up two points, I believe. And the FF. Yeah, it's like between it's like two and a half or something. Yeah, you're up like two and a half. I have Drake London. You have Chris Alave. So it's just a good one. That's a great coin. Yeah. Both of us with the win would improve to three and one. Everyone's a big one. That's a big one. Have fun watching Monday Night Football tonight. We'll be back tomorrow diving into the week five. Weaver targets are start of the weeks and all of that from field and Mike. My name is Daniel. Don't forget to love each other and be kind to yourself. We deserve it. We love you guys. We'll see you tomorrow. [Music] [Music]
