The Big 12 Chaos Has Officially Arrived | Week 8 Recap | The BFW Show 10.24.26

The episode of the Brandon Walker College Football Show analyzes a chaotic and unpredictable college football season, highlighting standout games and team collapses. Key moments include BYU’s emotional win and dramatic loss to UCF, marked by controversial officiating and a chaotic fourth-quarter finish. Indiana and Michigan’s game is criticized as a poor offensive performance, with multiple quarterback failures, while Texas Tech’s decline against Cincinnati underscores a lack of physicality and team cohesion. Mississippi State’s collapse after Camario Taylor’s injury is presented as a symbol of deep roster and coaching instability. The hosts also take a stand against overhyped teams and the growing chaos in college football, noting that margins are razor thin and the sport is increasingly unpredictable. Did I just meet myself? No, I'm good. Liam Blutman will be here. I just watched Ole Miss lose to Texas 34 to 27. Trying to get that chance was just bad, and I don't know if anybody noticed. He was like 23 or 50. Anyway, at least they have their starting quarterback. Must be nice. So hello, welcome. Crazy day again. We've lost some more top 10 teams. That was yet another top 10 team. What do we lose? We lost number two today. 15, 11, 7, and 8. And I believe that was number, what, 7? Lost a lot of good men out there today. So I'm letting the chat fill up. Hello to everyone. Blutman, hello. Hey, Brown Walker. I got to tweet the stream live. Got the only team that is immune to the chaos in college football. It appears to be the UCLA Bruins. Wrong, look like Defenbach. Tor is ACL by 10. So few. So you mean few as in like few, like that? Okay, dodge, dodge the bull. I was mute for a good hour. Yeah, yeah. Do you have a third string quarterback? Yeah, Nico's a little brother maddened. Because we don't have a second string quarterback. And I am jealous. Hello to everybody. Let's get started. We'll go through all the categories later. We'll do everything. Another crazy day in college football going in. It didn't look like much. It didn't look like a day that was going to give us, you know, the matchups just weren't as good as we've had in previous weeks. And we'll have in future weeks. But, you know, college football doesn't really care what we think going in. It's always going to give us something that gave us maybe the game of the year. And BYU and UCF, that game was crazy with a crazy ending and wild, officiating and wild plays and everything like that. BYU goes down Texas Ole Miss tonight. Indiana, Michigan was a stunning display of something they call football. I still can't get over how bad that was. But let's start here at Texas Ole Miss. Because it was a pretty good prime time slugfest. It looked for a while like Texas was going to absolutely steamroll him. You had a different look in Archmaning's face in the first half. And then the Texasness caught up to him. And halftime caught up to him. And Arch goes into halftime and I guess Sark just doesn't do anything. And you lose the edge from Arch. You lose the edge from Sark and Ole Miss fights back. But they ended up winning 34 to 27. A decent little win for Texas as they continue to stay alive. You just got a surviving advance every week in the SEC now with what, eight or nine teams still in the mix. Half the game, we saw the best version of Archmaning we've ever seen. And the second half of the game, we saw an Archmaning that need to be bailed out by his run game in the fourth quarter. Michael Terry, the third stepped up. He was a really nice compliment to the Relic Brown who killed it. The loss of Trevor Goose beyond the offensive line is very worrisome. But again, that team can't put together a complete 60 minutes. They're not showing up in the first half in there. They're there in the second like a Ohio State. Or they play the phenomenal first half. That was the team everyone thought. Wow, their world beaters. These guys are full of game changers. Outside of Cam Coleman because he couldn't catch COVID. If he was at a concert of 40,000 people down mask on in April 2020. But that's beside the point. Texas played so well and lost everything in the second half. I don't understand how the only consistent team about Sark, about Sark's group right now is inconsistency. You know, I hate to bounce around. I'm not going to bounce around. I'm going to stay here. But then I'm going to go right to Indiana Michigan because I want to call out liars. Oh, yeah. I think we have an epidemic of lying in this country. And I don't know if it's an epidemic of liars just on Twitter or of college football experts or football experts, but they like to lie. I'll get to them in a second. Texas is going to be a patchwork project for the entire season. They're going to put together quarters and second quarters and halves of good football. Arch is going to look good. And then they're going to lose it. And the reason they're going to lose it is I don't put it all in the quarterback. It's only head coach. Do you know why they lost it tonight? You know why they really really started to get out control for them? You know, Arston played well in the second half. But like how many stupid personal foul 15 yard penalties can you take before it adds up? How many times can you push the guy after the play? How many times can you tackle the guy five yards out of bounds? How many times can you hit a quarter back in the face? How many times can you do it before somebody in the coaching staff says, hey, don't fucking do that no more. I believe at one point they were 14 penalties for 134 yards or something. Huge drive extending drive killing penalties. Like as long as Sark doesn't have a grasp on his team. As long as Sark isn't somebody that the players respect at all. This is always going to happen. They're ultra talented. They'll have moments. Relate brown. Carried him in the fourth quarter. But they're just not going to be a legitimate contender going forward. All right. Now I want to talk about the liars in college football. I want to go to Indiana and Michigan. I thought Indiana, Michigan was an absolutely stunning display of remarkably shitty football. Does Indiana have a good defense? Yes. Does Michigan have a good defense? Yes. Josh Hoover is just not a very good quarterback for the Indiana Hoosiers. And whoever Michigan is throwing out there is not a very good quarterback at Michigan. Whether it's Tommy Carr or Bryce Underwood. There will be people. I've already seen them in the chat right now. Somebody in the chat said these guys act like if it's not a 80 to 64 score. It's a bad game. No, it's a bad game because it was a bad game. And a lot of liars online, a lot of football liars. They do it in both pro and college. They'll see a low scoring game 10/7. And they'll say, well, for those of us, excuse me. For those of us that like defense, that was a hell of a game. Sorry that you don't get the nuance of defense. Sorry that you have to have points. You are a lying piece of shit. That game today between Indiana and Michigan was the most poorly quarterbacked, unorganized offensive mess I've ever seen in my entire life. The fact that one of those teams is still standing as a legitimate college football playoff contender is in the front to the fucking sport. Indiana is trying desperately to not make it back to the playoff. And the big tin will not oblige them. They are trying desperately to tell the whole world, hey, we're just not that good. And the big tin is like, no, no, no, no, no, you're good. Trust me, you're better than us. You're better than us. That's what's happening because Hoover is trying to lose games. He is bad. He is, he threw for what 80 yards today. He was eight, eight of 18 for 80 yards. This is a guy who's filling in or he took this, the spot of a number one pick, Heisman winner. And here he is. He can't throw the ball down the field more than three yards. And Michigan, no matter who it is, they are God awful. Their offensive coordinator is bad. Their running backs are bad. Their receivers are bad. All they have are tight ends. Tight ends, that's all they have. And the offensive coordinator, they had a chance to win the game regulation. They get all the way down the field. It's first and goal. They have utilized the tight ends five separate times on the drive to get down there. They ran it three times and they kicked a field goal. Just an absolutely terrible offensive game plan, terrible coaching. If you think what we saw today was the product of elite defenses, the elite defense was drawn in the field. I'll give you that. But that was a product of bad fucking offense. So stop lying about it. What do you think, Bloodman? Well, Brand Walker, anytime that I wish I had glasses to put on, I don't. Anytime you could get the ball in the micro winch line and you go play action. We're looking for the naked boot here. When I look, they got Bryce under one on the sidelines. I'm sure that kid could take us snap put the ball forward over the goal line and get touchdown without making a mistake. I'm sure he can Jason back as a guy who since his time at UVA has tried the galaxy brain everything. He thinks he's the smartest guy in this room. We'll say this. He's missing one key piece to his offense. He loves to have this big tie then that could play under center handled the ball as a quarterback. He doesn't have that on this team. So he's missing that. But my goodness, Brad, I watch this Michigan team play it with Tommy car for what like a game in a half now. Yeah. I personally, I personally think the benching of Bryce Underwood was pointless. I agree. The benching of Bryce Underwood was pointless because he is not the issue. And Tommy car is not better than he is. Tommy car is not even kind of better than he is. Tommy Carter car is in fact worse than Bryce Underwood. So they benched Bryce Underwood and it has solved nothing. And Tommy car a couple of the reasons Indiana scored a Tommy car throw it through it into quadruple coverage one time. And they had a short field. If not for short fields over the last two weeks, Indiana might not score. And they scored a field goal on a 22 yard field today. A field goal on a 19 yard field. And then they scored it over time. It starts at 25. That's that's their three scoring drives. Yeah. So I disagree with you. I think Jason Beck is a problem. I think Tommy car is a problem. I think Bryce Underwood is a problem. I think that they are all just bad. I think the whole thing is bad. Rodden everywhere. I watch Tommy car play, Brad. And this kid is so fidgety in the pocket. Like he might be good one day today next week. He is not ready. How many times he's bailing out of the pocket running and it's happy feet galore. It's bad. It's tough to watch. Are you really telling me that his legs are more valuable than Bryce Underwood's legs? Just go full no passing offense at this point. I don't know man. The Jake Keller says Underwood loses that game by 20. I don't know how y'all walk around without bumping into walls. You're so goddamn dumb. No quarterback for missing was losing that game by 20 because Indiana couldn't score 20. Indiana. We can focus on Michigan. But it's pointless. They're a dead team. They're a dead roster. They're done. Are they? Yeah. They're done. They're going to be in every single game though. Like that's that's just because they're playing. Yeah. They're dead. They're dead. They're done. Indiana is not dead. Indiana is not done. They're seven and one. They're going to be top five in the country tomorrow. Like in Indiana. Indiana is top five in the country and they're a half a football team right now. They are an elite defense. And you can say they're still good and they can't run the ball. They ran for 3.7 yards of carry today. Charlie. Charlie B is is reliable, but not the quarterbacks terrible. Nick Marsh is good, but not the quarterbacks terrible. Indiana's got major, major, major problems. And they're going to be able to mask all those problems with their defense. But the defense itself isn't as light as it was last year. That defense could have lost today. That defense gave up a drive in the last two minutes of that game in the fourth quarter to a freshman quarterback that should have lost them the game and they didn't do it. Yeah. I don't know if you saw a signal. He was saying they were really evaluating whether to bench Hoover or not. They were almost going to put Grant Wilson in at the start of the second half. They opted not to. He says Hoover's a sky. It's his team that all the work he's done for us. He's not healthy. He'll continue to get better. You know, I saw after the fact that he's not healthy or this or that, you know, it's a warrior. Yeah, that's great. And that's great that he's a warrior. But if he's not, you know, if he's not healthy, then then show me he's not healthy about playing somebody else. Like I, I'm not going to, I'm not going to hear that after the game. I mean, nobody said it before the game. He wasn't on your injury report. So like, you know, Signati, you can piss on my leg. Tell me it's raining all you want to. But I saw the game. I guess like one more thing on back because back's getting so much hate. And like, I get it at Utah last year. He had Devon Damp here. It was like five foot eight, man. He's a very small quarterback. They, I get it's big 10 big 12. I get the difference. I get that. They were still pushing the ball down field. They were, they still had a competent passing offense, much more than a competent passing offense. They could strike fear into a defense into a secondary and push the ball. Devon Damp here could layer it. Neither of the quarterbacks on this roster could layer could throw. So like, I get back hate, but it's a whole problem all the way, all the way around. It's a toxic environment, brother. Yeah, it's bad. It's bad. I mean, and Michigan, Michigan is just a bad offensive football team. And it's, there's nothing to smile about. There's nothing to like. There's nothing at all. And they still almost beat the number 16 in the country. Let's get to the, let's get to the, let's get to the big 12. Big 12, come on out. Step on up and get your weapon. Let's see, play it. I don't know. It sounds like, I don't know. He gets to play in these games and it sounds like he's a war. The brewers just went. No idea. I'm watching Utah Houston. Yeah. Well, I'm watching Chicago News because I've got changes off of Ole Miss Texas. And I think the brewers just want to think they're up to nothing. And here we go. You know, a lot of people, a lot of people on this company like taking shots at Brandon Walker just making shit up that I said. A lot of people like to say when I'm wrong. I picked Oregon on the national title. Yeah. Screw me. I got that one wrong. But I don't know if in my lifetime I've been more right than on Bulltake Monday, which by the way comes back in two days. Bulltake Monday is here forever. On Bulltake Monday, I said, you know what? There's all the sudden three teams in the big 12 and the top 10. And there shouldn't be. We got to pump the brakes on this. The big 12's getting too much love because chaos has happened over here in the big 10 and the SEC and the big 12 schedules haven't been up to snuff yet. You've got some teams that look like they're really good, but they're not. And I just said, hey, let's pump the brakes. BYU is coming off in an emotional win. They got to go on the road. Let's pump the brakes. Texas Tech is coming off the best they've looked all year. They're going since the end of the line. Then look right. Utah hadn't played. Has it beaten a team with a winning record? And here we sit. BYU goes down to UCF and look what happened. UCF beats them. BYU coming off an emotional win. Goes down there. Double over time. They lose 39-31. Texas Tech just gets shit pumped at Cincinnati. And Utah can't fucking do anything right now against Houston. So let's start with BYU. Number two team in the country. It's a weird season, Blutman. It's a weird season when you watch somebody beat Notre Dame and it shoots them up to number two. And the entire world knows they're not the second best team in the country. But you still have to acknowledge that what they did and what they earned and you put them up there. Well, also saying, huh, boy, I don't know about that. And immediately they go down there. Defense looks awful. Bachmeier doesn't have the magic. They lose. But Blutman, the chaos of the last minute of regulation, maybe last two minutes regulation, because that had the fourth downstop in it, right? The chaos of the last two minutes of regulation, the shoddy officiating, the bad play calls, the kicks that were blocked and picked up, the roughing, the kicker. It was as chaotic and beautiful college football mess as I've seen in a long time. And it was the game of the year so far, thoughts. You muted yourself. How's that happened? Really good at doing that. It's my best trait somehow. Nobody knew what was going on, Brandon. I didn't know what was going on. You didn't know what was going on. RG3 Connor, onion, didn't know what was going on. Sataki Frost, the refs, nobody knew what was going on in the last minute, minute half plus over time that took six hours. Keon Jenkins, the core back for UCF, I can't get out of my brain. They get stopped on third and goal in a tie game, 24/24, like the man half left. He just starts chirping. He starts trash talking all these BYU players. Then on the fourth and go on the inch line, he gets stuffed. And that's like the eighth most craziest thing to happen in this game. You know, I saw some people second guessing Frost at the fourth and go from the inch line and going for it, huh? You definitely go for it. Yeah. I saw some people. I saw some idiots. I was watching the, you know, the studio show here, a few and a half time. And the studio show was like, yeah, you gotta, you gotta kick it there. You gotta take the lead. It's fourth and one from, it's for the goal from the inch line. If you don't get it, BYU can't go anywhere. They're trapped. And that's exactly what happened. They couldn't go anywhere. They ended up putting it back to you. UCF comes down there. They have a field goal to win an in regulation. They, uh, it gets blocked. The kicker picks it up. His face mask gets ripped off his face. His entire face gets ripped off his face. The, the official throws the flag and then it's like nah, didn't really happen. And, but then there's a 10 second runoff because his helmet came off, but he didn't take his helmet off. Now we're over time and okay things are back to normal and be aware you score But then UCF scores and the UCF in 31 31 double overtime kicks a field goal to go up 34 31 But wait roughing the kicker get another try 39 31. They win the game I Also see a lot of people saying questionable rough in the kicker. Do you think that's questionable rough in the kicker? I thought that was pretty classic rough in the kicker. I don't know if I'm calling that rough in the kicker Well, he what he did was he either steamrolled the the right guard the right guard falls back They both fall on the kicker as the kicker's finishing right? It's about an approximation of what happened I guess man, I have to go back and watch it like 500 times again micro analyze it But to me in the moment they didn't feel like rough in the kicker Yeah, well to me in the moment a lot of those calls in that game didn't feel like a lot of those calls in that game That officiating crew was as overmatched as any officiating crew I've ever seen if they didn't know what was going on They didn't have a clue. They were making things up the block field goal the block field on third down It he wired the officials mine the head rev could not fathom. They kicked it on third down. There was still time left He said first down this way, and he turns and not a first down that way and then fourth down that way it was just crazy Lost in the shuffle. Why did you see I've spiked the ball on first down in the clock was stopped 15 seconds to go first down I think one that game Scott Scott Frost wants him to go out there and run a play and then spike it and the quarterback goes up there And spikes it on first down and Scott Frost just laughs at him. Yeah, it was it was quite the scene, but but don't get it lost Be why you were the big win last week and immediately goes down there and loses their defense Just doesn't doesn't come through. I don't know if you can do transitive property in calls for ball in the year of our Lord 2026 because of how much shit's going on? But if you were doing transitive property in the year of our Lord 2026 Notre Dame took one on the chin today And Scott Frost got a rank to win before Matt rules. So that's pretty cool. Yeah, that's that's okay. That's that's wild So be why you goes down there they lose it was a classic letdown spot though Yeah, it's it's it people get so emotional. It was a classic letdown spot and everybody pointed out the letdown spot and be why you're like now We're good. We're good. It's just you just especially in this day and age this this sport is so razor thin The margins are so fucking thin that these emotions and letdown spots mean more than they ever have Liam Yeah You and I and a lot of other people need to do a better job of recognizing the peaks and the valleys and this sport and not Overreacting. I don't think of be why you any differently today They did a week ago after they beat Notre Dame. I think that they're a big 12 contender That isn't the conference's best shot to win a playoff game I think that they're a really solid team. This was a disaster spot and they lost it But they played well like it was that not played well, but like Really brew football game and it happens just remember on Monday and Wednesday of this week when there were three top 10 big 12 teams There shouldn't have been any and I Told you that Arizona's the sneaky best team in this conference. They come out one by a million today I think Arizona's the best team in that conference. Uh, we'll have to see what happens a second half of Houston and Utah here What I said they might be I like that Arizona team too, man. They're feisty fafee fafee is his 13th-year college football Of course he's got things going on. You see there's a second fafita There's a second fafita. There's a second fafita. Hey, no way. Uh, let me I think there's I think his name is dash And I it's they you're thinking you're dynasty dash for feta linebacker How does that today? Freshman linebacker who I believe I believe this freshman linebacker is five foot seven he's five foot seven one 90 Dash for feta, but for feta's keep going What this is I'm you're supposed to be the ball watcher here. I'm telling you something I you are it's crazy what's happening in the twenty twenty six college football season Um Why is his name is dash? He's five foot seven place linebacker. This is the perfect name for a skatback. It's dash for feta. I don't know what to tell you Oh my goodness and then Texas Tech Texas Tech is one of those be why you at least had the big win last week Like Texas Tech has spent most of the year trying to tell us something This has been most of the year trying to tell us hey, we're not as good as we were last year. Hey, maybe don't put us in the top 10 Hey, we're not just we're just not that good and A lot of people just don't listen people don't listen and people don't pay attention because Texas Tech has been struggling all year Willam and just isn't very good uh, and today they go on the road and Cincinnati just taps them titties And I don't want to put it on Willam and or anybody in particular because Cincinnati really just dominated that game with a line of scrimmage Cincinnati was more physical than Texas Tech And that's the biggest issue everybody can talk about the quarterback and not having soars be and not having the guy from last year And having to go with Will Hammond Texas Tech's just not nearly as physical or as mean or as daunting as they were last year It has just gotten really they've gotten way softer as a football team Yeah, they don't scary, man I thought cold tab was fantastic for Cincinnati. I used that game. Jacy French had the he had the longest act With streak in the country for not throwing picks as up throwing picks on back-to-back drives including the picks six I only agree with Texas Tech going for two down 24 15 I think he has kicked the extra point there make it one possession game. I disagreed with that but Yeah, at the end of the day Texas Tech is just They're fine and maybe they are better than the rest of the conference Maybe they're not but that's a bigger indictment on the conference than it is on Texas Tech that they're able to manhandle so many teams Not today, but but they have been able to do so. Well my bigger issue I was never saying the big 12 was a bad conference When I was saying last Monday and it was taking the wrong way by big 12 Teen by big 12 fans what I was saying was This sport is a chaotic mess right now The sport is too close. It's too narrow the margins are too thin and it's happening in every league It's happening in the big 10 you you look past Ohio State with injured quarterback You say I wasn't injured quarterback. What's behind him? It's a fucking mass everybody's beating everybody in the SEC everybody's beating everybody Everywhere in this country everybody's beating everybody and it just hadn't happened yet in the big 12 because Utah I hadn't played anybody with a record nobody nobody in the big 12 had played anybody that was going to test them Well today you go after going the road yet play UCF and you have to play Cincinnati and the chaos arrived in the big 12 It's not the big 12 was suddenly a bad conference. It's not a bad conference. It's a very compelling conference But they didn't wake up last Monday and all of a sudden have three top 10 teams Utah's just not a top 10 team BYU is not a top 10 team. I'm sorry It's just they're just they're just not and and and all your feelings can do whatever your feelings want to do I'm just going to tell the truth and you have to deal with it. They're just not top 10 teams and that's the that's the long and the short of it Yeah, we watched that Utah team struggle mildly to put away car all last week and nearly blow it BYU Again, I like they they're always in a chaotic ending. I feel like 9% of the games I play is in this unbelievable ending where there's some sort of Mormon magic that almost failed him out again today The the conference is I think what we thought was at the beginning of the year. It's wide open There's a lot of good teams. I don't think there's any great teams and I don't think I don't think they're good enough to win a playoff game and that's fun But maybe they are honestly maybe they are because you're right. Everyone's dropping like flies everywhere. Anyone could seemingly beat anyone So maybe they maybe they can yeah, I still think it's a one-bid league. I think it's a one-bid league and the get to Well, see I mean if Texas Texas going to be the Texas Texas showed up today They still got to go to Oklahoma state Oklahoma state. It's not in great shape. I didn't consider to what happened today about Oklahoma at all It was more about um god in the universe conspiring to never let anybody from start woman to be ever be happy again I don't know what the fuck we did to people We have one of the best quarterbacks in the country and and god just won't let him just want to play Anyway, we'll get to that later. Uh, let's go around the country a little bit of takes and then we'll get to our categories in a minute This is a lot of people say I talk too fast on Saturday night, so I'm too fired up. So let me Oh, let me try to bring it down Where Texas where Texas tech and airs on a plan Tax tech Going around the country uh South Carolina 27 Tennessee 24 One of the crazier games you'll see South Carolina was in full control Until Tennessee was in full control. I believe Tennessee had three Think four four four. We got the four Brooks Austin tweeted four Tennessee had four touchdowns called back Lenore Sellers showed up big time Dylan Stewart in the last last last quarter was dominant just dominated Tennessee and changed the fourth quarter of that game I don't know if I was watching Mr. State for a while so I don't know if he dominated the first half But I know while I was watching Dylan Stewart was incredible It's the first time he's really made an impact this year from From a perspective of wow this guy is changing the game But South Carolina 27 Tennessee 24 which is gonna change some narratives Liam and I was thinking about this last night I talked to somebody in the industry and they said they think it's gonna be a very quiet coaching carousel And if you look at it, and we got a coach firing actually here to talk about soon but Beamer saving his ass at South Carolina Like Beamer Beamer is in the process saving his ass Norville might be saving his ass Neither South Carolina nor Florida State won't spend the money to fire these guys There are not that many places. This might be one of the quieter Coaching carousels we've ever had and it starts with Shane Beamer getting his ass off the mat and winning some football games Yeah, I think it's um A combination of a few things I think Maybe if AADs and programs are scared of the market the available market and afraid to take the shot on a guy Um, I think they're also scared of losing a bunch of talent through the portal and recruits and stuff Well, also, I mean, we just had a big carousel last year a lot of guys are in the first or second year a lot of guys are Lot of guys are just Like silver filter Arkansas. We thought he would be one and done He's gotten them off the mat a little bit. They're better than they were like it's there's a lot of Lot of coaches that are that are kind of fighting back from this hot seat thing and Shane Beamer probably being the number one example But Lenore sellers what can you say about him? I mean, I think 300 yards three touchdowns were like two ninety three or something like that And then his his his game tying touchdown was the most effort and heart and grit and bad assness You'll see it's coming up in just a minute for me Um Lenore sellers was great Yeah, he's phenomenal. I was also impressed by George McIntyre I thought that was maybe the best game he had played of his season It stinks how many touchdowns I had called back, but I thought both quarterbacks in this game were good. It was a fun chaotic Thrilling game all the bushes the hedges are now broken Uh, it was great. It was another yeah, sorry It's another one of those where you sit back and you watch the scene after a game and you just start feeling things about how how special This this sport is yeah, McIntyre was was better. I still don't think he was good that office just doesn't travel well on the road Like Bishop has to run he ran 32 times today for for like a hundred and not much like he was having the three yards of care They just don't that offense doesn't have it when you go on the road You got to be able to have some shut up players Some players will shut the crowd up explosive plays 10 20 30 yard plays. They don't have it And they can't shut the crowd up and they couldn't shake South Carolina and Lenore sellers shut the door on them um Speaking of well, I don't know speaking of anything We can rarely happen again Every single time Liam it's like USC knows when when my brain gets soft Like my brain or my heart gets soft and I'll forget the last time I disavowed myself from USC football When I watched them lose to Oregon Oregon just pumped them and Oregon's just bad this year But they pumped them. I was like never again never believe in an USC Then we'll get to a couple weeks later there what five one six and one and I'm like, well they they could make it make the playoffs And they go on the road to Wisconsin tonight and just get destroyed 24 to seven Why It's a two-part question Why hasn't Lincoln Riley worked at USC and why can't I make it permanent in my head I tried to hold your hand all week and lead you a striper and I tried to tell you all they did since that Oregon loss Was they squeaked by a bad Washington team and they went to a Argued well one of the worst power four teams in country on the road and they beat Penn State by what eight I tried to tell you this was a bunch of fake steam coming in. They're having to travel to a physical That's the keyword physical Wisconsin team that just got beat by UCLA that had bad taste in her mouth And that's why Lincoln Riley hasn't worked at USC because they don't play good when it's a time zone or two or three over And they're not physical. They are soft. You punch them once in the mouth. They're cooked Speaking of traveling all the way across the country NC State did it last night lost And their coach is done. They've dore and fired by at by NC State does now. I believe our second coach fired after Mike Loxley fired Been there a while to middling success, you know a good year would be eight or nine wins, but The last couple of years just been been ugly and nasty as he's tied his wagon to CJ Bayley and he just can never turn the corner NC State now openly in blood. Yeah I think it was just time. I think everything in life has an expiration day and I think this one was just up I don't think this is like a trash Dave Dorn thing or trash NC State thing Maybe you could trash Boo Corgan if you want Dave Dore and perpetually lived on the hot seat He for what the last five six seven years. He was always weighing enough games to stay afloat get his job back take control I you know this one Like it's just time for change man. They gotta get better now now it filled rivers is the higher I don't know what to make of that Yeah What do you make of that? I don't even want to that okay, well we'll deal with that when we have to deal with it Um Minnesota wins the most Minnesota Iowa football game of all time I don't know why I locked in on this game, but once Camario went out Actually, I do know why I locked in on this game. What's Camario went out and I knew we were gonna lose I needed I needed to drag somebody to hell with me and I needed to be sad with somebody and I knew Iowa was gonna be sad because I could just tell And watching Iowa lose the most Iowa football game of all time 13 to 10 Where it's just nasty ugly stupid now I had that another weird thing They were down 10-3 and they went 98 yards in like four plays to tie the game late in the game And then they still ended up losing because if you're a Kirk fairness coach team as you have been for 25 years You're good enough to be pretty good, but never good enough to be great and Iowa and I'm I'm Victim to this I said looking at their schedule Could be a playoff team, but I forgot they've got Kirk parents and he is playoff repellent. He is playoff resistant he can If the line to the playoff is here he can coach you to hear every single time and that's what's what he's doing right now And Minnesota's now five and two and it seems like every single week. We're watching PJ Fleck do two cannonballs or swan dives onto the top of his team Yeah, man that guy loves doing that We're looking at Iowa team that had all that playoff talk and in a few weeks They might end up being five and four like I was constantly in Northwestern next to brutal games And it's just what I was to they're gonna play a low scoring slump fest for almost every the Washington one so outlier And they're gonna be in to win or not like every single week stop right there Ohio State playoff team Indiana playoff team UCLA playoff team Who's the next big 10 team If you're lining up right and you're lining up by height And say everybody line up for the playoff who is standing behind UCLA and Indiana and Ohio State in the big 10 At the end of this what a loaded question I don't have a clue. I don't know. I don't know. Can I be an honest man right now. Yeah, I don't think Indiana's a lock to make this thing I don't think Indiana is some sort of locked to only Give me Indiana's schedule like I'm bred They haven't impressed either of us all season. No, they're not they're not that good. We talk about them Like they're a shoe in but every single week they go out there and they toy with that Every single week you could only toy with that so much before death gets a hold you and says hey, it's time buddy clocks ticking They got they got Michigan today. They won that one they got Minnesota at home. They got USC at home At Washington and Purdue. I mean, that's pretty That's as friendly as it's gonna get fine. Yeah, it's fine, but like That's a playoff. They're going to playoff. I don't think they're good I don't think they're good enough to win the playoff again this year They're going to have to win a game or two because their defense is so good. They'll win it ugly They'll win it stupid but you know It is what it is. All right, show us the Northwestern schedule. All right. That's a team. I don't believe in I think I know they killed Rutgers today. I it north western is it who are who are they beating i mean i had to know the western to me is is a team that like the chance also in northwestern northwestern northwestern who the what the fuck are they done to tell me they ought to be in a playoff yeah that's got to get tough so northwestern has uh. they're at Oregon they got iowa at home at Ohio state at Minnesota no that's not a playoff no i don't know i don't know but but but but but so while we're talking about it we got plenty of time to do that right right now let's talk about this because of all the potential playoff teams in the big ten one of them is gone organs officially did right or organs got their third loss and they still got to go to Ohio state and they still got a play yeah they're they're done right they're done they're done um. if you lose three games i i know we in this season like it feels a bit outdated to say you lost three games you are eliminated this to this team's done there they're of course a shell of itself they have massive issues uh. i know organ fans are parading twitter like saying fire drew metering or in everything and i think he's been a jokas job but then you sit back thinking realize well hey the only reason which the only reason that don't have more came back is because metering or was going to get the job so you start to think about that it's like man if we didn't if we went to the season with the rail of where we i said this uh. on wednesday i'm gonna say it again there's a team in the southeastern conference that i believe it's quietly getting their shit together and they're quietly getting their shit together to be to be a national title contender they've got a road loss to their coaches former team and they've got a road loss to another top ten team by one point they have texas coming up at home they have alabama coming up at home they go to i believe tenisey thank you very much they've got uh. again they uh. in two weeks elis you as a biweek in two weeks they have uh. alabama at home and they got texas home at tenisey and arkansas at home elis you goes on the road today thirty eight to seventeen over obron it was not that close i believe lane has been has been working and figuring this thing out and i don't think you want to play that team in november eleven is starting to look a little bit better that defense is hell on wheels i think l_s_ u_s_ a team that everybody had a little fun with in september but in november yeah you better you better look out because of all the chaos in the s_e_c_ they might sneak back in this fucking thing you did see lane be lane again for the first time out what i'd like he really felt like lane kiffan day we all bully them for the kentucky and not going for it on four down ice in the game they went for it fourth and short in their own territory early in this game set the tone now sam levit basketball wasn't really a good thing for him at a_s_u_ i don't think it's a good thing to be doing that i'll see you there the do can't talk look each way to hit him that was not and said he could are you treated he can't talk you treated that and and i'll never on and i'll never understand the the depth of the sensitivity of calls football fans l_s_u_ fans actually got offended that you said he couldn't dunk they were actually like a way to play football like okay it's just uh. they've got a hoop on the field and he's doing a duck and he missed it that's all my god fucking relax got make the dunk uh. do you think Miami is strengthening their cases the number one team in the country or the best team in the country forget number one you they're strengthen their cases the best team in the country right now or is it just hard to even judge them with who they're beating i i'm still going to lean Georgia is being the best and giving them the benefit out i think Miami is flawed i think my i think we saw against florist state and you could see it in bits and pieces in these games that they win by a lot remember the wake force when there was law of issues too the offense a line is not near as good as it was last year they don't push you through everything they don't believe they don't they don't they don't kill you and the defense of lines not full of killers either so they're flawed in the trenches yeah and that's what happened they got to the playoff last year and and their killers in the trenches just took over their their defensive line just took over and and and absolutely executed Texas a and m and ohio state and before you know what they're playing for a national title in their offensive line to the same thing as fletcher got rolling behind that line so i could see that but they do have um you know last year they had Carson back in a freshman malachite Tony this year they got two per barcade they got uh they got malachite Tony's a sophomore they got uh dairy amensa who's a step up from Carson back like i know that uh on the lines they might have taken a little step back i think they took a step forward with their skill position players offensively i'd agree with that for sure i think we need a seal of they have i mean they should be able to win out i think they might need to instill some sort of workload touches management for malachite Tony you don't have to just try to get him the heisman dude that they're actively trying to get him the like so like you tell me what what's better what's more is a competing for a national championship or trying to stat pad the kid for a heisman because i do see him limp off the field time and time again this year and i as a college football fan just want the kid healthy when it matters most michael done says uh oh miss has the best quarterback by a mile not my amy i don't think that's agent well just just crowning their uh trying to add channels the best quarterback in the country i i he's pretty good he's really good he's had a good year but tonight he wasn't great like in their losses he had been great uh tonight he was like 23 of 49 he he wasn't great tonight and he's 26 years old like like he's older and everybody i would say men's saying men's is just as good as uh as trying to add chambles is not a wild out there statement like chambles has had great moments in his career his whole season hasn't been perfect and last night he was he was just bad or tonight he was just bad darian men's though too like really really good player really talented kid anticipates well and everything he really lacks an arm strength though he's just more so of like he really does a terrific job of taking what the defense gives them underneath and there's a lot of high percentage throws he does get a lot of yards from after after catch he does a great job though by the way um well i was watching Ole Miss Texas i wrote down north carolina is five and two exclamation point did you see any of that i saw that um i i saw when i went to overtime they were up six and then um how to get to overtime i went to 23 17 and they scored touchdown did they did they miss the extra one or get blocked or what sarah cues the pork the poor kid the poor freshman kicker i believe he's a freshman just not even close on the extra point why why why does could be to the left and then north carolina with a minute left it's fours and three plus side and they go for it they get sacked sarah cues is trying to set this poor kicker up i look at stats the kid is one of five on the season from 40 plus yards have we got to the state category yet no i've got a category in a minute where we're going to do Mississippi state it's called the most depressing team of the weekend i uh i have placed my Mississippi state rant in the parameters of that category good sir but it is time to get to the categories and to do so we'll start off with the winner of the week the Reese's winner of the week used to be the most impressive team but now we talk about Reese's winners of the week because when i think winners i think Reese's i think of the absolute best candy out there the official candy partner barstall sports you see it right here uh Reese's old school peanut butter cups we have the great variety of Reese's products in our office the the animal crackers the outrageous all the all the great candies that they make but for me it's the old school peanut butter cup that's what i want that's what i have at my house just a little snack to get me going they're the best Reese's is a winner Reese's the official candy partner of barstall sports go get Reese's wherever you shop and we both have our Reese's most impressive team of the week the Reese's winner of the week Liam would you like to go first with your most impressive team of the week um i'm gonna more so hone in on fran brown he's having a rough year at Syracuse it hasn't been what we thought it was what we thought was in that dream first season from accused their own foreign conference play they're a bad team fran brown gets to leave the field and i get to go in the team plane and just think to himself man i coached a double digit comeback in the fourth quarter to beat billbell a check like i could put down there as i think that's a super cool thing to take away like good for fran brown man you find the great things when it's going bad i will get my Reese's winner the week to the golden nights down there at uh you cf you cf uh had number two b why you coming in and frankly b why you b why you had moments where they looked like they had pulled the frying pan out of the fire where they looked like they were gonna escape with their number two ranking into but ucf with this quarterback who just again you said he had his breakout today but like defensively we're making plays offensively we're making plays every single time b why you would go go six inches ahead here came ucf to go seven and it was one of those scenes it feels like we're getting two or three of these scenes every single week where we got the field rush and everything the bounce house was jumping it was was incredible and like once every five or six years UCF reminds you they got a really cool ass thing down there and I thought today was that day they were my recess winner of the week. Liam our next category is the most depressing team of the week. I will go first. My most depressing team of the week is the team that has the knack for depressing me the most. Now obviously BYU choked today and Texas Tech choked and so many teams just blew it. But I feel like we were my team Mississippi State just found this special place where as soon as Camario Taylor and Thursday and Friday were fun when the injury report came out Camario Taylor was off of it and he was gonna play. He comes out first drive I think three and out second drive. We moved the ball a little bit. Fluff has a big run. They go for it on fourth down. Camario tries to escape and scramble and on the first big step he took. He pulled up and he winced and he knew it was over. But that's not what depresses me. That does depress me. But what depresses me is what came after. The second Camario Taylor left the Mississippi State lineup. Both last week and this week the team was just done completely finished had nothing. There's no quarterback waiting in the wings. There's no backup. There's no life. There's no nothing scored zero last week. End up scoring 15 today. But it felt like zero felt closer to zero than 15. Our backup is a zero star walk on freshman that I don't know if he wasn't Mississippi State would be at any other division one college. I'm sure he's a great American. I'm sure his family pays their taxes and I love them. But there's a lot of quarterbacks in this world. We have swan from Vanderbilt on our roster. We have Jayden Rashad of on our roster. I have no idea why we're not trying anybody else. And if you look at Jeff Levy's career record he went two and ten the first year went five and eight last year. Then all of a sudden the thunderbolts opened up from heaven and flashed down on star full and said here there's a fight. There's a four star quarterback at Knoxby County. It's going to fix everything. He's 30 minutes away and he's a state fan. He committed to Mississippi State before Jeff Levy ever coached there. Anyway, we signed him. He goes four and oh. As soon as he gets hurt, we're right back to losing. Every single time this team has taken the field under Jeff Levy without Camario Taylor under center, it's been under whelming. It's depressing. It is depressing. And I know we're spending more money than we used to. I know we're probably not spending as much money as George and Alabama, but it's more money than this. That was as soon as Camario Taylor got hurt. We were done. We were finished. We're a joke. We're one of the worst teams in the SCs. We might be the worst team in the SCC without Camario Taylor. And the fact that when he was there, we went on the road and beat Minnesota by five five three touchdowns, four touchdowns, beat South Carolina on the road. The man is Jesus. He's a Heisman. He should win the Heisman. God, it was depressing. As soon as he goes out, we're just we're nothing. I don't understand that. There's 53 other people. There's 85 other people. Why why why are we so bad? As soon as he's out, just just cancel the game. Who's your most depressing team? I mean, I got depressed too. When I am watching that game, I see Camario roll out and pull up and hobble off and I go into the tent and everything and go through a process. Well, I don't see how it is more depressing than that. If I have to swerve in a different direction, the unfortunate reality is I think that there's light at the end of tunnel for this team because of who's can play in Cody Campbell with all his can pull the guy is twin. This is on except, but we got to be better after they get absolutely gashed by Sensei. They get rail road by Sensei. But then you think about the quote, when we're up by 40 and still throwing the ball in the fourth quarter, that's where the retrobrution will come. That was what Cody Campbell said about the Sensei, Texas Tech, Brendan Sores people and they popped them in the mouth and they showed them, hey, man, all that money in the world and you still can't buy a team that could beat us. That's a tough look. Did you see that Cincinnati's social media team in the final score tweet tag, Cody Campbell? It's excellent work, isn't it? Yeah, it's very good. So that's just that's just good social media. And man, that is just good social media. That's how we do it in CFP. What's the most badass thing you saw in college football today, Liam Blutman? Yesterday, and it's been brewing for a few years now, David's war and the kid had leukemia when he was 17 years old, goes to Michigan. It's a great, feel good story, like, wow, man, look at this kid. He's playing football. He could say fly off stunk. He wasn't going to Michigan gets to Stanford. And I don't know, like I'm being dead honest, no hyperbole here. I don't know if there's been a player I've been impressed with more through this college football season, the way that he's developed what he's fought back from on and off the field. The kid has turned himself into a legit NFL draft prospect in a season where there's so much remarkably bad quarterback play. The quarterback at Stanford has been one of the best quarterbacks I have watched. And if he was at a bigger school on a team that was able to win more, that had more town around him, more people would be talking about more people would care. The arm angles, the V low, the back shoulder throws he's throwing off his back foot like he he's impressing me so much every single week. I would like more people start watching Davis Warren and see what he could cook up for Stanford. And they mail knowledge that this guy's again for Manchard Luck has to be nauseating. Just a little quick update. We're doing the show. It is 11 30 on Saturday night if you're listening to it tomorrow. If you're here live, you probably know what time it is. Utah is on major fraud watch. Yeah. The Utah youth. That's the team that really sent me off about the big 12 last week was when I saw Utah at number 10. We need better voters, man. We need better system or something that you can look, you ought to be able to look at a team and look at what they've done and come up with a better idea than putting Utah at number 10. They played six. No bodies. They escaped Colorado last week, 27, 24. And somebody put a 10 by their name right now. They're down 10, nothing midway through the third quarter against against Houston. They use it as a good team, but that's the point. The second they play the good team. Look what happens. The most bad ass thing I saw today, Liam Blumman. It's the Lenora sellers touchdown to tie the game against Tennessee. He had 18 carries for 96 yards. He threw for 293 and three touchdowns. Oh, we got to do the top 10 players in a minute. But that that touchdown, like it's rare that you can see an entire player's career encapsulated in one play, but he rolls out. He gets out of the pocket, goes towards the corner of the end zone. There's two Tennessee volunteers, defenders over there. They stop him. Basically at the two-yard line, they got him stopped cold. And he's, he's what, 6/6 or something. He twists this big body and he, he pulls them and then he turns, he twists and he fights and he scratches and he claws and he finally gets that ball over. They were just will and desire and you just can see it coming out of this guy because it hasn't, it hasn't always turned out the way you would want it to for for the Lenora sellers of South Carolina. But they're winning games now. They beat Florida a couple weeks ago. Now today they do this and you just saw him just fucking fight through Tennessee. It was the most badass play of the day. If you don't know what I'm talking about, go look at it. Go watch it. Lenora sellers, unbelievable touchdown to tie that game of 24 in the last two minutes. Whoo. I got to rest my voice for a second. Whoo. Some good sweet team. Liam. I'll let you go next because my voice needs to rest for about a minute. Clear your throat. This is gross. Murph. Don't be a bitch. It's not clearing my throat. It's just my voice is shot. I don't know what to tell you. I've been watching football and yelling Mississippi state all day. This is what happens. The I told you so award Liam Bloodman go. It's a two for one. It's Iowa and it's faux. Iowa, which is Michigan. Both those teams are near carbon copies of each other, except actually, ironically, Iowa is more explosive. Iowa has a better offense, but nonetheless, these two teams are going to be in it for better for worse every single week. They're going to play up to their competition for the most part. They're going to play down to their competition for the most part and he given Saturday. They could win or they could lose Michigan. I feel like Brown Walker, you waste the big 12 take earlier this week. Yeah, I feel like I've been 100% right every single time I say Michigan plays the same football game every week every week. It's a different score, but it's the same game every single week. How hmm. I'm right about them. I'm right about them again. Yeah, it's everyone. If Michigan's going to score twice, today it was field goals, but they're going to score twice. If you catch their kick or two, he might still make points on the floor. They're going to score twice. Maybe they score a third time. And if you could score four times, you're gonna win every single time. But against your defense, you can't score four times. So it is what it is. They tried a 55 yard field roll or something. And that thing missed by 55 yards. And then they tried a 32 yard. That missed by 55 yards. It was, it was bad. Let's go with the, I told you so award for me. I, you know what it's, it's more the same really. It's just, it's just the whole big 12 thing. It's just the, they never deserve three top 10 teams. BYU, great win last week. But they're just not a national title contender. Texas Tech, not a national title contender. Utah, I'm not a national title contender. It is a compelling conference with a lot of very similar teams that will be good all the way into the end. But that is not a conference that is actually giving us a team this year that should be in the top five that will be there for the national championship. It's just not. And me saying that isn't hate, it isn't dislike, it isn't anything. It's just reality. That's just how it is. Great timing, touchdown, Utah. Good, good. I mean, it's still, I don't care if the win is game or not. I know, I know. I feel like it's good timing. You're well into victory. The hand up, I was wrong award. I'll go first. It's just, it is, it's also more of the same. And I'll wear this one forever. I, this one does feel different. Like Oregon, Oregon's dead. Oregon is now dead or Oregon's playoff dreams. Every single time they lost, she said, well, they could still get back into Oregon's dead. And I picked him to win the national title. Every single year, I held myself off. And then they made the final four, you know, last, they've been in the playoffs the last two years. They've been good. They were 12 and no number one couple of years ago. And this year, I thought with Dante Moore returning and I thought with everything they have returning on defense, they were going to be able to get to the playoff and win the national title. And boy, that was as wrong as wrong can get. That was as, you can't be more wrong. Now, the one thing I will say, let he who picked Oregon to fall apart this year, step forward. I would, I'd love anybody to produce any information that they thought they saw this coming because I didn't see it coming. But yeah, I was completely and totally wrong on Oregon. My God. The hand up, I was wrong award, Liam Blutman. Yeah, that's where I win as well. I wasn't as big on them like this year. I actually remember last year, I picked them not to make the playoffs. I should have done that this year. But I still thought, hey, man, yeah, they've got two losses backs up or back is up against the wall. But maybe if Dante Moore comes back, I don't know if he is or not, they can make a playoff push. Think even if he does come back. I don't know why he'd come back now. Yeah, I own either start time and start preparing for the NFL, but I was wrong. They're not good enough to make a playoff push. And Dante Moore is so plenty of apologies. Well, Stein, Oregon fans were gang on last year. You owe him plenty of apologies. The program's just the mess right now, unfortunately. And you think back the Saturday night with all the allegations of the wider sewers and passcatchers like outspeed street racing or whatever and a recipe made. And then you look at the injury report. There's a bunch of guys who aren't hurt that are on their report brand and that were probably out there racing and chased by cops and stuff. And I feel bad like I look at the wider sewers coaches to be by Ryan Clark, the wider sewers coach, Ross Douglas. He's walking off the field today in tears. And like none of this is on him. And he's got to go out there and feel like he's at his lowest point because he's coaching a bunch of guys who are making bad decisions. And again, him in trouble. And now his job is maybe in flux. It's just so bad. And you look at Drew Maringer. What a joke they are, dude. What a joke that working offense is when it's anything that's not in the script. I don't know what he's cooking. He's obsessed with the jet sweep. Get through your head, man. You can't keep doing that. Dylan Raeol is not good. I just-- Ryan Walker, they had so many players out today, too. Like, yeah, they're dead, though. I mean, they're dead. Yeah. Look, everything they can't go wrong is going wrong. It went wrong on the field. It went wrong off the field. It is a disaster season from hell. That is what a organ is facing right now. I don't know if it's fire damn landing bad because-- No. But it's fire offensive coordinator, defensive coordinator, and maybe a lot of the sports staff at. Like, that's how bad it is. Somebody's head's got a role for this. And it won't be his, so they'll have to do something. Give Illinois some credit for winning that game. Defensive's playing much better since firing the DC. If you want to cry and whine and play your violin, please give us credit. Go somewhere else. This is clearly about organ. Illinois, winning that game doesn't magically make Illinois good. If your feelings are that sensitive, just go to the Illinois fan site and let them suck you off. I'm not going to do it. Illinois, winning that game, fine. Yeah, Illinois. I'm not going to sit here and start an Illinois party because they beat a dead organ team. It's more about organ being super dead. I wrote down eight players for the top 10 players of the day. I was kind of holding it for these last couple of-- this West Coast. I wanted to see what was happening out in Utah and Houston. But I don't know. I don't even know if we'll land anybody there. New Mexico is up 14-9 over North Dakota State. I know that you're watching that one too, probably, right? Fun game, two great defenses. I got two players of the week too, so that makes it 10. OK, good. Well, here's in no particular order. Number one, Malachite Tony. 16 catches 194 yards, three touchdowns. Mario Christmas should be on the sidelines holding up an eon sign that said vote for him for Heisman, because that is what they're trying to do. That is what they're trying to do. It's getting Malachite Tony to Heisman. I wrote down Lenora Sellers without even writing down his stats. I do off-memory. 18 carries 96 yards on a touchdown. I'll leave 293 yards and three touchdowns. So around, probably 400 yards, total offense, four touchdowns, as Tennessee loses to South Carolina. Lenora Sellers, one of the players. Sam Levitt, 387 yards, three touchdowns, 54 yards on a touchdown. So what's that? About 430 yards of total offense, 441, total offense, four touchdowns. I had arts manning written down on the first half, and I scratched him out. I scratched him out. And you know where I wrote? I wrote Relique Brown, because when it mattered in the fourth quarter, and when Texas was up against it, and when Texas was about to blow this huge lead and embarrass themselves again, they calmed down. After arts throws the worst interception you'll ever see, they turned and gave it to Relique Brown. And he saved their ass. I don't know what his final stats were. I don't know what his fourth quarter stats were. But the Relique Brown saved Texas's fucking bacon in the fourth quarter. And he's one of my players of the week. Cole Tab from Cincinnati, 16 carries, 173 yards on a touchdown. Dary Aminza, 387 yards, four touchdowns. Keon, Keon Jenkins, is it Keon Jenkins? Keon Jenkins, 293 yards, three touchdowns, and Drew Mestermaker, 386 yards, four touchdowns as they kill Colorado. Who's your last two? Rice and Florida Atlantic. Laydown, 100 point game today, 51, 49. Rice started their backup quarterback, Brown Walker. He threw five passes, 80 yards and a touchdown. He ran for 259 yards and four touchdowns on 12 carries. He had touchdown runs of 52, 55, 69, and 74 in a losing effort. FAU-wide receiver, Eastern Messer, who's one of the most under-appreciated players in the country. 12 catches, 160 yards, two touchdowns, two rushing touchdowns, a two yard partner turn touchdown. It was a cocaine football game. Yeah, and then those are the 10. I was trying to see, because I never went back and looked. Yeah. There's somebody in the chat whining about no for feet. Yeah, he was pretty good. He was pretty good. 302 yards. Again, if you're going to get in your feelings, cover three is right over there. They'll-- In your forfeelings? Yeah, like I-- this isn't a getting your feeling show. This isn't a-- it's not an insult to you or to Arizona when we say, when we don't say for feet is name. I've said they're the best team in the Big 12. I've given them a lot of attention. Their coach is going to be on here Monday. If you're that hard up and you need that much attention, good luck. I don't know. It's going to be a tough life. The what are we doing, award? Liam, we look around this country. What are we doing? What the hell are we doing? What's yours? I've got a clip to play. If Luke, you could pull it up. I'll give you a few seconds here. Yep, came prepared. It's the second week in a row that it's that Wisconsin's demise here for a penalty that you should have been called. Yeah, look at this referee, brother. Also right area belongs to the officials. Look at this referee. He's running. He ran into the Wisconsin coach, throwing a flag. That eight yard sack. First down USC. Brother, move a little. Get out the way. You had 10 yards to see-- oh, yep, coach there. Let me swear a little. The coach ain't in your way. He initiated contact. See, conc, that out. You're a loser. Yeah, that was bad. I don't have this as my whatever. What are we doing, but you bringing up the refs just tells me, you know, the end of the UCF game, there's an official who keeps showing up in these situations. I'm not going to say that person's name or anything else about that person that keeps showing up in these situations. And then there's, um, there was the rough in the passer call against what's against in the end of Michigan. It was in that game. It was against. It was on Hoover. Yeah, it was on Hoover, where, where, uh, I believe the, uh, there was a freshman for Michigan, uh, rushed and, and, and had his hands up and just hand just barely. I mean, barely like a, I'm walking, I'm running by him in my hand. Actually, my pinky brushes his, his, his, his cheekbone and they called it a 15 year penalty. What are we doing on that one? But my, what are we doing is, uh, and I think it's a good story and it could be a really good story and all that. But we're having, uh, press conferences, we're having announcements on, uh, Friday, October 23rd to announce that we're coming back to Oregon state next year where, where, where, where, that's, that's what we're doing in the year 2026 that we're stopping, uh, the news cycle and we're saying, Hey, hey, hey, everybody, everybody. I will be playing for my team next year. And I get that it's a big deal and I get that it's awesome. And I get that I like it is happening, but just think about that. It's so unique and so unexpected for Jesse LaGrey to come back next year. He makes an announcement to simply say he's going to keep playing for the team he's playing for. That's a crazy fucking world we live in, Liam. Yeah, Brian Walker, I, uh, tweeted, I don't get it. I got a lot, a lot, a lot of hate for simply saying, I can't believe we're doing this. And so I went and I reached out to a lot of people that work in college football, where they're working in the industry in any way, whether it's for a team or an analyst, whatever it be. A lot of people with the same answer, that is preposterous, can't believe that's getting done. Hope that's not a trend. The one thing I get, Jesse LaGrey, I, I guess they have a signed day, he didn't get that moment. So I cool on him that he got to do that, but I can't sit here and act like you know the sport, Brandon, you know, the sport, you can act like the contract is binding someone in some way is going to offer him a lot more money and try and take him. Like, I, that's the sad nature of this. I don't think that's a bad thing to bring up and say. There's vultures everywhere. Brandon, you would be elated if Camaro Taylor would announce he's coming back to Mississippi State this week. I certainly would be you guys don't get the point. Oregon State fans should be elated. I would be over the moon of Camaro announced he was coming back. That's not the point. The point is that we live in a world and play in a sport where it is now news that you would have to you announce the team you are currently playing for, you will play for next year, where it used to just be assumed and it used to just be a thing. You know, of course you play in there next year, you play in there this year, but now it's an actual news item in the news cycle when a player does this, and especially in a place like Mississippi State for Camaro Taylor or Oregon State for just to agree, you don't expect him to come back. So it is news. I just, I'm just pointing out that the world is, is changed so much that we're now making announcements and the more you point at it and you realize how ludicrous it is. That's all in the A C C in the A C C Duke 19 Virginia 16. For 31 NC State 28. So long Dave Dorn barely knew you Miami 52 pit 23 SMU 59 20 over Cal. What happened there? Wasn't that game close for a while? Yeah, Cal led that half and then Tosh Lepoy just can't get out of his own way. And then the halftime interview was talking about this so good. We're so connected. We're going to win this game. And then didn't score another point is if anything SMU dominated that's like a half, it was the best half football they've played all year. Boston College 49 Georgia Tech 27 and I'm not sure the train wreck that is Georgia Tech football is getting enough attention because they're, they're bad. They're like a special breed of bad. They're, they're fucking bad. And last year about this time they were faking their way to like an eight and one start and people were thinking, Oh, Brent key, Brent key, Brent key. And they are bad B A D D bad. For Jimmy Tech 20 Clemson 16 Virginia Tech, I believe six and two now as they kind of write the ship a little bit Clemson wrongs the ship thoughts on that one. Not nothing nothing that Clemson is could right now. You know, I like using the chat and I want to use the chat. I like being a man of the people China on 1837 says this show refuses to talk about UCLA. That's funny. That's funny. How do y'all? How do y'all come? How? How? Just how that's all that just how how does that happen in your mind in the big 12 right now you tall down 13 to seven to Houston, but driving at midfield Cincinnati 37 24 over Texas tech West Virginia 24 TCU 20 West Virginia 5 and 2. That's done right. Like I know you talk to the guy who said he has to think there's going to be many many, but some I feel like writings on the wall for sunny yeah, yeah, I did I'll have to ask about that one. I will have to find out, but that does seem like one that could come open Kansas 25 Baylor 24 UCF 39 31 over BYU Arizona State 28 Kansas State 17 Oklahoma State 57 24 over Colorado. There's another one. That came was close for a while and then Oklahoma State just kind of broke their back a little bit. And then 39 3 Arizona over Iowa State Arizona my favorite team my best team in the big 12 in the big 10 we have Indiana 13 Michigan six. Oh, what's your favorite favorite playing that game mine was BB three yards to the outside for a nice little for example, pick up mine what mine was the third and goal on the one on the half yard line and the Michigan offensive coordinator says, all right, here's what I want you to do. I want you to fake the handoff and then I want you to hold it behind your back like your air and Rogers and then I want you to turn and you better hurry and turn because there's going to be an Indiana defender in your pocket. Just go ahead and go down at the nine we'll kick the field go tie the game. That was my favorite play. Northwestern 42 Rutgers 14 Illinois 21 10 over Oregon that was 10 seven to the half by the way Oregon didn't tour fucking point in the second UCLA 28 Michigan state 10 30 seconds on UCLA. I don't get why we'll talk more about UCLA on these so these guys man to be quite honest. I got to stop you again. I got to talk to the chat Jake you guys literally didn't watch the IU game LOL that's the problem we did. I wish I didn't watch the Indiana Michigan game. I would give anything to be able to not watch the Indiana Michigan game. I saw that game. I saw every single play and my God I'm cursed for it. Go ahead Liam. Sammy Obasego's a top five player in the country. I need more people to know that recognize that UCLA is a better offense with tie deep in pocket quarterback he throws the ball so much better than Nico. It hasn't translated to more points yet. I don't know how good we are. We're one of the last on the field teams in the country. It doesn't really compete with my brain. I really don't know how good we are but I it's surreal, dude. Minnesota 13 Iowa 10 and Wisconsin 24 USC 7 did every single game in the big 10 have somebody score 10 points or fewer 13 6 out of 42 14 21 10 28 10 13 10 24 7. Rockers was the most point by a loser. Michigan State was on their fourth quarterback. Ohio State was off in the SEC LSU 38 Auburn 17 was watch out for for LSU South Carolina 27 Tennessee 24 Oklahoma 23 Mississippi State 15. For those of you that watched it, you know that I should even make fun of Indiana Michigan because it was just exactly Texas 34 Ole Miss 27 and Kentucky 34 17 over Vanderbilt Kentucky will be the team. I believe that I'll probably come out Monday and say now let's pump the brakes. I think the next three weeks are going to be different, but we'll deal with that when you deal with it. We'll deal with that when they deal with it. They're obviously well coached and having a great year so. What else? I guess that's. I got a couple more. I didn't, I didn't space out the ads very well look, yeah, that's on me. This episode is sponsored by Blue Chiu guys what the women won't in need stability or liability be or rock with Blue Chiu. So let's do this for five minutes. We'll do a chat back and forth questions for me and Liam and then we will read that ad and get out of here. Kentucky will be a two-loss team says Monaco Corey. I think they'll be three-loss team. I think they'll lose at Tennessee and at Missouri. This show needs a Bob Chesney senior weekly segment. I don't disagree with that. I don't disagree with that at all. LSU season is basically a three-game season in November. Alabama, Texas and at Tennessee is tough but I think LSU can do it. I would agree with that. A healthy Bama. I mean Bama is healthy as anybody else. I know they've got some injuries. Everybody's got injuries. That's not a thing. I'm not sitting here making excuses for my team. Alabama is just pretty good. I don't think they're great. There's nothing great about Alabama. SEC should be back on CBS and I need Brandon Pit Walker to make it happen. I don't know what that means at all. Who's the next coach to get fired after NC State? Well, like Liam said, Sonny Dykes could be on the, you know, Norvell's always on the chopping block. Norvell for the rest of time. We'll be on the chopping block of toys chopped. So I would say Florida State maybe. How many teams should get in the playoff in the big 10? I would say three locks. I would feel good saying three with a chance for a fourth. Thoughts Liam? Yeah, I'm with you on that. Yeah. I like, I would say three with a chance for a fourth in the big 10 and four with a chance for a fifth in the SEC. Maybe three to four. I don't know. I don't know. Brandon and Texas Mississippi State prediction next week. Oh, if if if Camario didn't play, we're going to lose about probably 38 nothing. We won't score against that Texas defense on the road. Wegman deserves more praise. Good quarterback. Yeah. I just got one this game. I got to get to this game. I haven't been able to, um, looks like, uh, Utah down six, but they're driving early in the day. As I touch down, take it off the board. A knowledgeable man downfield. Also, just so we have one voicemail. We have a voicemail. Yes. We don't do voicemails on Saturday. Yeah, but we have one. Okay. Lookie. Play that voicemail. It's non the go. Walker. This is the first time, the first time that you can really laugh at Michigan football because I'm stuck with this offense. A quarter Jason Beck, who is the dumbest fool I've ever seen. His offensive coordinator is nobody should have to watch what I'm watching with Michigan football and you blame it on rice underwood. You're stupid. We all knew that. It has nothing to do with rice underwood. Price underwood is probably still five star first round NFL quarterback and he had to play with this moron. Jason Beck, who cannot gain plan to the life of him. He gets outskined, but it doesn't matter who he's playing. Pop on our high school pro. The guy can't do anything. Michigan actually is talented wide receivers. You can in March. There are often lines. Okay. They got a talented backfield. This guy can't get anybody open. He has the worst play calls you have. Third and goal from the inch. You have a 240 pound quarterback sitting there. It's impossible. These sneezes. He scores a touchdown. And if he doesn't sneeze, you sneeze again. And this guy's running roll outs. He doesn't know what the hell he's doing. Jason Beck, I haven't ever said this, but well, I'm not going to say, but he needs to be fired to the moon. How does this guy have a job? And if winning him won't fire him, then you've got to get rid of winning him. But if Jason Beck is in the booth, calling plays next week, we need a federal investigation. Michigan should have been in the end of it's a crime. The defense the way they have to play. It's not Tommy car. It's not price under his fall. This is Jason Beck is the worst pound for pound human at his job. Not only in football, but any walk of life, living dead history. Get rid of this clown. As much as I love hearing Dave and agony and absolutely realizing his team as an average mess of a fucking joke football team, there's some truth in his whining about Jason Beck. But I disagree with a lot of like he said that we have a talented backfield and talent receivers. No, no, not really. I don't see that backfields fine. Receivers are okay. But I will say, now that we've seen the full picture and we've seen another game with Tommy car. Just put price under way back in there. Like it wasn't all him. It wasn't all him. And he's better than Tommy car is right now. He's a better quarterback today on October 24th and Tommy car is. And I know Tommy car is a freshman and he's the future price. I'm in price under woods a sophomore. Like I after watching today, because you imagine like third and one, I guess he didn't want to hurt Tommy car's confidence. But if price under was just playing, third and goal from the one isn't a question. It's just six foot six quarterback right up the middle. So anyway, whatever. Good voicemail. What break price underwood? They would bring price underwood in to hand it off. And I forget if it was gust or if it was Joel, they is got price underwood's jogging off the field after hand and off first down. And they just go great job, Bryce. Yeah. One time, Gus, I don't know what Gus watches. Well, I don't like a lot of it. Gus, you could say he watches the monitor, but still I'm watching the same thing. He's watching on the monitor. He said the quarterback went and he gets out of bounds. And he was like, oh my hash mark. And what even close, I was like, what are you talking about? Um, it all goes down at noon. Of course, this game happened at noon. This thing game was big noon kickoff. Big teams, big plays, big noon, Saturday, a streaming live on Fox one, roveries, upsets chaos, whatever happens. I'll see you there. We ain't all in the guest. We ate all week on Bull take Monday. What'd you say? I, I just thought I want, I want a Bull take guest too. I want so we should have a different person to come with three Bull take every week. I have just the man in mind. Oh, or woman. No, it's a man. We're talking football. Um, so, uh, that's it.
