The Bible in a Nutshell

All right, let's turn to the Book of Acts. So we are still joining in finding the rule or the goal of the Bible. So it's a key principle in Bible study that it's emphasizes comparing scripture with scripture to interpret the meaning of a passage. And then there are alongside these there are all that major rules for effective Bible study like the contextual rules, the law of faith, mention, the law of progressive revelation, the cultural history, context, the grammatical rule and the as much as time will permit, we will touch briefly on this. Yeah, but for now, we are just sticking with contextual study, TSK rule. I think we have done a lot of these kind of teachings in our podcast. So we can avail yourself to reach about don the encode, decode and code. So the ECD, the ECD method, so there are a lot of methods, heminitical method, application method, but CD's just the disciples, you could just get you familiar with the basics. Remember, all we have done in this class and in this entire cohort is just the basics. This is more or less like an introduction into what should be done. It is not in any way the meaning. It is not even close to it being the meaning. So this is just like a preamble into what, into what we do. And one of the major things that any teacher of God's word can give you is how to understand the Bible. How to understand the Bible is even your defense against me in the late time is assuming I mess up and start teaching something else, teaching something wrong. Speaking things out of context, from what I'm teaching you now, you can be better identified. From what you said, from what you should listen, because this is this is that this is this. Look at the pretext, look at the post text, look at the context with the author, with the listener, what was the discourse? Is there any a fatigue mentioned? Is there any double mentioned? Because if you understand what is going on in that Genesis chapter 2, it will give you an idea of what the Bible is. Remember, what do you see? The Bible is the divine inspired collection of reliable historical documents. We take a time to explain this. All right? Written in Hebrew, Arabic, by prophets, kings, priests, apostles, and other servants of God, preserved as one interconnected revelation. It forms a unified account of God's eternal plans and purposes. His dealings with humanity and His plans for redemption, which cool monies in Christ. Now, look at 2 Timothy. Or let's look at Titus. And now that promise of life is clearly communicated in the preaching of the gospel. Yes, it is clearly communicated in the preaching of the gospel. All right, so there is a promise of life. Look at 2 Timothy chapter 1. 2 Timothy chapter 1, this one is his Paul and a postul of Jesus Christ by the will of God according to the promise of life which is in Christ Jesus' oboe. He says, 'He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world.' So this is before God created the earth. There was a plan. You see, you don't build a house when your plan is not solid. And based on real power, he can choose his own way. It is man basically telling God, "I know what is good. I can avoid evil." It is man basically telling God, "I don't need your life for all priests. I don't need your spirit to energize me. I can do life without you." A lady's and gentleman, that is the introduction to the goal of the Bible. The Bible is a divinely inspired collection of reliable historical documents. It was written in Hebrew, a Ramayi Greek, by different priests, kings, apostles, servants of God. It has been preserved as one interconnected revolution. In Efficiency, what God planned before he created the world? He chose us in him. In titles, there is an eternal life that God has desired for a man to have in Timothy. There is a promise of life. How will man have the life of God when man receives the Spirit? When man believes in the promise of God? Man will fully attain what he was built to attain to, the image of God. Adam says, "No. More autonomy, I will choose my way." Don't think it is one big stuff. Because you and I, we have this little bit of God at some point in our life. God has two doors, clear God's words. In the terms of readings and directions, God has two doors, do this, don't do this. We have looked God in the eye figuratively and said, "No. I want my own way to stand." This is also how much more the first man and the Bible says in Job that God was telling Job where he did when in his song when man was created. To man woke up to see supernatural atmosphere. That kind of man is this in new to God. Imagine us. I mean I was seeing angels in the full glory and brightness and radiance and all those things. How many times? So the Bible says the Garden of Eden was the Garden of God. You see it in Isaiah. You see it in Isaiah 28. So in Isaiah 14, it's called the Garden of God. It is called the Mountain of God.
