The transcript covers two main segments: a draft with Alex Cups and an eliminator draft with Chad Candles. In the first segment, Cups discusses rookie wide receivers, advocating for a data-driven approach over training camp buzz. He highlights Bijan Robinson as a top pick, while evaluating prospects like Jacobi Lane (strong buzz, mediocre production profile), Ted Hearst (good production but weak program strength), and Cyrus Allen (overhyped, zero fantasy-relevant comps). The draft builds a team around Robinson, Derrick Henry, and Mike Evans, with strategic stacks like Daniel Jones with Tyler Warren and Brock Purdy with George Kittle. Cups emphasizes trusting prospect models and avoiding overreaction to beat reporters, while also targeting value picks like Woody Marks and Marshall Lloyd.
In the second segment, Candles joins for an eliminator draft, focusing on bye-week diversity and resilient roster construction. They select Jonathan Taylor, Kenneth Walker, and Malik Neighbors early, then add value picks like David Montgomery, Rhamondre Stevenson, and Keaton Mitchell. The team stacks Trevor Lawrence with Parker Washington and adds Tua Tagovailoa for early-season stability. Late picks include Christian Watson, Greg Dulcich, and Charlie Kolar, with a preference for upside and correlation. The hosts stress the importance of avoiding overlapping byes and using cheap stacks to maximize upside, concluding with a positive assessment of the team's balance and potential.
Wednesday edition of Bestball Breakfast, we have a loaded line up today batting lead off none other than the so you think you can tout champion in recent higher over at fantasy life Alex cups. We're going to do a draft and also talk about some buzzy rookie wide receivers and whether we should be buying into that, making sure we're not forgetting about their prospect profile, what they can actually do for us this year if given the opportunity. We're then going to have Chad Candles coming on at 1045, I'm going to see if I can talk him into an eliminator draft at 1115, we're going to have Madison Park Hill from established the run. He does a lot of work behind the scenes for them with their rankings. I've done shows with him in the past super sharp drafter who knows the best ball landscape inside now and then batting clean up a BBM champ are respective goats. None other than Chesley and it's going to be a great show. Let's do it. Welcome to Hot Bestball Summer. You slurp that suspension, Dipperino, honey easy to click on Richard White, it's when it's all in here through the month of August before we get ready for our in season show together how you doing this morning. Doing great, looking forward to it, looking forward to our conversation about these rookie wide receivers as well. I think that should be interesting considering some of the buzz we've heard from training camp over the past week or so. Yeah, we are going to be doing a draft today, I did just get in a pit bull, three more. If any of you guys have bullets left in this contest, 10 entry max, $20 entry, $100k at first, really nice structure, two of 12 weeks 1 through 14, one of six in week 15, one of five week 16 and 156 seat final there with 100k up top. But yeah, one of the things I wanted to dive in to with Alex as my new quant is thinking about some of these rookie prospects because a ton of them are getting buzz right now. It's really hard to kind of separate signal from noise. You know, Justin Hersig just did a really good newsletter post yesterday about how some of the buzz is just whichever beat reporters are yelling the loudest, talking the most about these guys. And so I thought maybe we could wind it back a little bit to basics, even when I wrote about some of these guys in the newsletter the other day, I included their supermodel rating from Dwayne just to kind of re-anker me to who these guys were as prospects. But throughout this draft, we'll kind of hit on those, but how have you been handling all of the camp buzz of late? Yeah, I, when camp buzz starts coming around every year, I really try to not read super hard into it just because I've been burned so many times by, you know, you get certain beat reporters and I can't think of the names of them off the top of my heads. But there's definitely certain ones for certain teams that are the loudest that are the, you know, always going to be hyping these rookies up. There's other beat reporters that are much more critical on what they're seeing, what they're hearing. So I don't know. I think it's more of an art than a science when it comes to reading into like what these beat reporters are saying. So I like to trust at least for these rookies. I'm definitely trusting the data from their prospect profile more than what I'm hearing out of Train Camp. Obviously, you do want to, you know, think of it in some way, at least in terms of what their role is going to be on their team, what they're hearing so far. It's definitely important to listen to, but I wouldn't read super hard into it. Yes. No, I'm with you. It's one of those things. We're all trying to chase that next Pukka Nakua, you know, even Tank Dell, his rookie year, where there is a correlation between like the Tank Dell and Pukka stuff. That started way back in OTAs. That was like late May when those guys started making noise. It's now kind of separating that from what's the flash in the pan stuff. What is driven by just one highlight catch? You know, it goes back to the old Sigmund Bloom quote was always, what's the steady drum beat where it just keeps happening over and over? It's not like you just made a highlight catch. And so we're going to have some time, right, with preseason with more camp to go to actually see who has staying power here. We're about to pick at one eight. I mean, you just wrote an article for fantasy life about some of your flag plants for this year. Are you going to pound the table for gentie here? Yeah. I mean, this is, this is gentie pretty handily for me, unless if Christian McCaffrey falls, I could see an argument either way there. But once you get to the JT range, when it's JT Justin Jefferson or CD Lam, in my opinion, that's just the gentie button. I just think he offers the highest upside. So yeah, this would be at 109. This is definitely going to be asking gentie for me. He would be my personal 106 in my fantasy life ranking. He is my 106 ahead of Christian McCaffrey, ahead of JT and the aforementioned wide receiver. So yeah, this is a guy that I'm definitely found at the table for all year. He's going to be a big part of my year. So hoping to see a pan out in 2026 form. So you had this conversation, I think with Davis too, and this idea of, depending on how many your drafts you're doing, doing a move like this, can either be something where you're getting an overweight position or it can get a little dangerous. The more drafts you do if you're fading, Jonathan Taylor, if you're fading, CD Lam. One, how are you utilizing your newfound site credits into what is your target exposure for gentie this year? I would love to be at like 30% gentie, like half of me. So I am taking a stance, like this is obviously the first year I played any sort of volume. So depending how it goes, maybe next year I'll approach it differently. But I would like to be pretty, pretty heavily overweight gentie in 2026. Yeah. Well, you are going to be well on your way there. I mean, I don't think it's bad taking him there just becomes a portfolio thing. Back on the clock, Hampton, Derek Henry, AJ Brown, Brock Bauer's Drake London, who do you like here? I think it would be normally be Henry for me. I also think the Bauer's gentie double stack is interesting. I'd be down to do whatever you want to do there, double hero or Brock. Yeah, let's go, let's go Derek Henry here and we can go double running back to start. Also, I need to do a coffee pour here this morning. It's 10 o'clock 6 a.m. We got our vassaleros and sun's coffee cup, Alex cups has his cup there. We are, of course, now the official home of vassaleros and sun's coffee and we will be doing two more giveaways today for 12 ounce bags of their coffee. So stay in line, stay in the chat. We will do those throughout the show. But without further ado, vassaleros and suns is about to hit my cup. Thank you for respecting the poor Alex with with your silence there. And we do have the 25% off promo code your first order over there and free shipping. So take advantage of that. They have all different roasts available. I've been doing the classic roast here, but actually going to be trying out some of their others here very soon is the classic only one you've tried so far. Is that that's okay? That's the other one. Yes, I got to get my hands on some vassaleros asap. Well, guess what, I'll get you a free bag as well as part of the influencer network here. I love it. So we took Derek Henry, let's hit on Jacobi Lane right now as we kind of work through some of these buzzy guys. I think it was one of the beat reporters for the Ravens that it's the best KFPC in 27 years. Obviously, a lot of hyperbole there, also an indictment of the lack of good rookie wide receivers. The Ravens have drafted. What do you think about Jacobi Lane as a prospect? Yeah. So Jacobi Lane's quite interesting to me. He obviously, like you're saying, the drum beat is unbelievable. Some might even call it a gong for Jacobi Lane. It's just been non-stop. Yeah. Like you said, best receiver in 27 years. But yeah, the prospect Profile comes out as a 70 second percentile prospect in the Cups model, which I see the Supermodel rating is also 72. So we're on the same page, Dwayne and I, on Jacobi Lane. And there's not a whole lot in terms of like his production that totally stands out to me. He did go to a pretty solid school average strength of schedule, 96 percentile among all right receivers. That's good. We like to see players come from these programs that are high program strength. He did have some really solid per out metric specifically for first downspirout run, 87th percentile. So let's go ahead and make this pick. What do you think here? Yeah. Do you want to go double Ravens with Zay? You want to go Chris Alave, Lad, T, Kyron? I like Zay here. I think Zay would be a fun, a fun double for the Ravens. Yeah. And I think with this kind of format here where it is a little bit smaller, they kind of over team stacking is just way more viable. But keep cooking on Jacobi there. Okay. Yeah. So in terms of just his production profile, there's some little stuff that stands out. But as a whole, it's not a great production profile. He is a boundary receiver for the most part, which is something that I feel like the Ravens really want a solid X receiver. Obviously, they have Rashad Bateman, who's been kind of hit or miss over the past couple of seasons. He's been injured from time to time. I do think the comps that Jacobi Lane draws going into his rookie season are pretty interesting. He has guys show up like Terry McClaren, another boundary receiver that's big, fast, can win outside. Alan Robinson, a couple of interesting names, DK Metcalf as well. But you know, those are the high ceiling comps for Jacobi Lane. We do only see six out of 20 of his closest comps hit a top 24.
finished across their entire career is not just in the rookie season. So back on the clock here, Zay, you could push up Loveland, grab another running back with ETN or Skatabo. Who do you like? It would be Skatabo for me. That's my guy. Oh, shit. I didn't get it in time. We got it right. I'm cool with that. That would be my second. That would have been my second pick as well. Yeah. The on Skatabo, he was one of your players, too, that you talked about could define the season. Dwayne has talked similarly about him, where just his profile and what you're getting. I mean, it's a pretty clear round two type of profile. If he stays healthy and he just does what he did last year and there's lots of scenarios where we look back and it's like, oh, Skatabo should be going where Amar and Hampton's going. Hampton should have been the mid-fourth round pick. Yeah. I mean, if Amar and Hampton was in the mid-fourth, he would be the guy that would define the season for me. I think it's more so. I think Hampton and Skatabo should be in the same conversation in terms of what they put on wax in their rookie seasons. The comps they both draw going into year two statistically are really, really good, especially, which is surprising for me for Skatabo being a fourth round rookie. You're less likely to draw really good comps as someone that comes from the fourth round, as opposed to Amar and Hampton. You're still going to have so many comps like the first round guys, but you know, with Skatabo we see guys like Cream Hunt, Devon H Ann, really, really interesting, like later round running backs that had really good pass-catching metrics put up in the rookie season. So I think that's an awesome profile to be targeting for a year to break out in round four. Shout out to Nick in the chat member for 58 months. As congratulations, Gens. Cup's been following your dynasty stuff on Reddit of all places. So glad to have you in the Peter verse. Has the Reddit threads, have they caught wind of your, of your win? You know, because you said that you still like to dunk on your taste. Did you go and shove it down their throat now that you're a champion? They haven't, I actually haven't been posting on Reddit quite as much to be honest, since the big win. I'm trying to graduate. I mean, I do, I like interacting on Reddit, but there are, you know, it's a tough, it's a tough crowd sometimes. I did, I think the fantasy football subreddit, I'll be doing an AMA for them on the 21st, which I think will be really fun. They added like a flair that says like I'm a, you know, an analyst for fantasy life on my account. So I'm not just like a random anymore. Now maybe I'll have a little more, a little more cloud that they'll respect. But we'll see. I think that should be super fun. So we're on the clock here just real quick. I had this move with Sam Sherman on Monday where we were able to push Lamar to the six. Now it's not completely likely, but I know you love big Mike and he's a huge fellow here. Do you want to try to risk it for big Mike? I think it's worth it. Yeah. I do. It's actually a massive faller. That's great. And I won't be, yeah, I won't be devastated. If we lose out on him, you have the chance that he comes back. But I think worth it. That's kind of how I play those spots. You know, if it was Judkins, DJ Moore, whatever. I'm like, let's just take Lamar and lock it up. But if there is a faller, you really like, I mean, Evans just shouldn't be falling to 56. No. Yeah. Seeing Evans go after Terry and Devonte. Yeah. That's Evans would be the top of that tier for me. I think that's a great smash it at 56. Yeah. And I guess this is just what he pulled up limp in practice the other day. I don't think there's any, you know, even mid to long term concerns with him. Yeah. Lamar does go 60, which I think we can live with. And it just gives us other quarterback outs too. I mean, their stuff we can do with Mendoza with Bryce Young, obviously, Purdy here. So I'm at peace slurping that value there. Yes. Absolutely. I also wonder if there's any sort of counter play, considering how well Lamar lines up with Zay this year and like how it feels like so many of these teams are going to be stacked Zay Lamar to maybe be one of the few teams that doesn't have the Lamar and goes with a different elite quarterback a little bit later in terms of when you get to the playoff weeks. So price falling a bit in drafts. I've also been interested in getting a little more Tyler Warren who is here as well. Anyone stand out to you? I would probably be Tyler Warren, especially if you're trying to get more of an exposure to him. He's a massive breakout candidate for me in year two. And things are just breaking so well for him, right? I mean, a lot of the conversation, you know, surrounding the Alec Pierce injury and his lack of availability early season, it always comes back to, okay, are they going to sign Keenan? How does that impact Josh Downs? And it's like Tyler Warren could just be the dude in this offense. And so for me, my skepticism with Warren has never been on him as a player of the situation just this range of the draft where it's like I really like Jordan Tyson here. I take a lot of Jaden Daniels here. But in this instance, we're building out these backstacks. Tyson's off the board. Price is now going to be a faller with kind of his injury stuff and what's going on there. Like Warren starts to really stand out to me in the middle of the sixth. Yeah. And one one last thing on Warren that I think is interesting is there I don't have any data to support this at least from what Tyler Warren did in his rookie season. But if you remember, one of the big things about Tyler Warren as a prospect was he would get the Wildcat work in the red zone in college. And I'm just I'm just wondering. I'm just asking the question with Daniel Jones coming off and killies. Maybe they want to take a little bit of work off of Jonathan Taylor. What are the odds we see some Tyler Warren carries in the end zone or some Tyler Warren directly under center snaps in the red zone. I think I mean two to three in in 2026. And he is going to what he's going to wildly outperform his draft slot. For sure. Yeah. I mean, that was kind of I mean, he did it so much in college and when they are trying to protect a guy like Daniel Jones. And it was it became a little bit more invoked. You saw what the Ravens did it with Andrews. The Seahawks did it a few times with AJ Banner. Got people. So yeah, man, there's a lot of outs there for Tyler Warren. We grabbed him at 65. Catching you guys up on the team. We started Gen T. We had to get the flag plant Derek Henry came back with Zayfowlers. Didn't get scatabo in and time. So we settled for Teteroroi McMillan. Big Mike falls to us at 56 Tyler Warren at 65. We're getting some Alex Cups brand plays here, though, with Gen T and Mike Evans. I was going to say I'm liking this team so far. I wonder why. So this is a weird spot now of the draft. QJ Lemon, Dak Prescott, Jane Reed, Justin Herbert, Sutton Pierce. You know, you could pull up one of these running backs if you really had a favorite of like Brooks, Rico, et cetera. Josh Downs already off the board. Has he moved up that much? He just is 74. Oh, you're right. I missed it. Okay. I just went. QJ has been getting a little bit of buzz with Mike McDaniel. Speak. Jane Reed is always a fun one here. You could sell me on open up another stack. I can't get there on QJ. I just can't do it. Here. So I'm with you. Like QJ's QJ and Alex Pearson, this price range are some of my biggest fades. I was working through this idea in my head, though, right? Like a lot of the rhetoric and stuff that Mike McDaniel keeps telling us. And it's a detriment to a guy like Lad McConkey is just like, hey, I view all these guys as movable chess pieces. We're gonna, you know, put these guys in different positions to succeed. He's not talking about having a Tyree killer, Jalen Waddle, when he talks about them. And so my brain immediately goes to even if I think QJ is slightly overpriced, I want to start playing this offense through the cheaper pieces. And you are getting a discount on QJ relative to Lad. And if he is going to have similar involvement there, I do think I just want to be a little bit more open to some of the basically fading Hampton and Lad and starting to build things out with Herbert QJ, obviously Keaton, Gadsden, Trey Harris. That's just kind of a thought I had of like, if I'm going to penalize, you know, Hampton and Lad for being too expensive, I better be open to clicking QJ a little bit. Okay. Yeah, you sold me a little bit. It's just he's not that he's still not that cheap. He's kind of he's he's you know, he isn't cheap. We're gonna have to do it. All right, all right. He just he just fell to 89. I mean, I can't go on that cut us a little quickly and then not value how to QJ right here. That's fair. Complementary. So Jade Reed, we get right at ADP there in the seventh and then QJ comes back to us at pick 89. Like that's the price. Like by Sutton, you know, Godwin's another guy. I'm very much in on. I would have been into him. But to me, that's the spot to get a share of a guy that you're a little skeptical on, but you're now saying, can I build the best version of a QJ team at a really good price that most other drafters won't have? Definitely, yeah, I think that's where I'd be comfortable taking him as well, you know, after McCoy lemons off the board, Jordan Addison's another guy that I'm relatively interested in. Yeah, I think that's a fine price on QJ. Let's talk about Ted Hearst. Another rookie getting buzz. He's an interesting one, you know, just coming off reading Dwayne's article yesterday. He's very high on Igbuka. By the way, check out Dwayne's new mega tears article over on fantasy life. He's also very high on Chris Godwin. Where do you think Ted Hearst fits into this whole picture? How do you feel about him as a prospect? Yeah, Ted Hearst, again, in lockstep with Dwayne in terms of like how I feel about his overall prospect profile, I think the interesting thing about Ted Hearst is he was one of the better producers in the entire 2026 class. He had about a thousand receiving arts, his junior and senior seasons. Obviously came from JC the first two years. So I don't have the data from that, but 17 fantasy points per game over his last two years. The big thing, like I mentioned earlier, I prioritize a lot is your program strength. And Georgia State was a negative 11 program strength score over the last two years, which is a second percentile for NFL wide receivers. So when I look at players that have the
most similar average team scores in college and draft capital to Ted Hearst. So just like which players were drafted in the mid 80s in the past that went to really, really bad schools. We're looking at guys like Jalen Tolbert, Andy Isabella, Kyle Williams, Ryan Grant. The big thing is I guess you're hoping that he could be potentially Cortland Sutton, but Cortland Sutton's not that close in terms of his draft capital coming off the board at he was 40th overall. So it's interesting with Ted Hearst. I'm gonna grab his Brock Purdy here right at ADP. We have Big Mike, no quarterbacks feels like a slam dunk pick. Yeah, and I think that's interesting on the prospect stuff. And I think for how it actually plays out in fantasy really comes down to if he can beat out Jalen McMillan as being that outside wide receiver there. Because we've just, we've seen Baker support these wide receiver threes, wide receiver fours. I mean, they can popcorn up with big weeks and that can have value, especially at his cost. His ADP is still around 203. How do you feel about him versus McMillan straight up? - I mean, in a vacuum, it would absolutely be McMillan for me just because we've seen McMillan do things at the NFL level that we like. But then it comes down to the fact, I mean, what's the deal with McMillan's knee injury? Like I'm not sure, is that cleared? Have we heard anything more on that? Does he still have like an uncertain timetable? Like if I were drafting right now, I'd probably just avoid both of them to be honest. Cause I think they're both pretty high zero risks. So yeah, I don't know. I don't really have a lean in terms of, I don't think I'd consider either them a target right now until we hear more on McMillan. - We are on the clock here, one, two, five, one. I put Bill and George Kittle in the queue. Anyone else you like or someone you'd want to grab here? I would love to grab George Kittle with Tyler Warren and Brock Perty. - Let's do it. Love that pick. We still have those two running backs up top Gentie Henry so a solid base. I mean, the Kittle stuff, you know again, the only knock on Kittle, it's almost similar to the Warren thing is like this can be kind of last call for some of the running backs with a pulse. George Kittle in that regard feels a little bit like a luxury selection and yet I just can't help but look at him and think he's 30 picks underpriced every time I see him on the board there. - I mean, 100%. That's, it's gotta be my favorite tight end click on the entire board coming off the board in the 10th round. I mean, we've seen how he's moving at training camp. You would have never guessed that this guy towards a kill is less than what was it eight months ago? Seven months ago for Kittle and he's 31 years old and he's moving like that coming back. Yeah, they've got something going on in the medical center over there in Santa Clara not sure what but I definitely love in what I'm seeing out of Kittle so far this offseason. I think he's probably gonna be good to go maybe week one, week two. That's the whole thing is it seems like if they were playing state side for week one, I do think he would play. I think they might just keep him here. Don't do the whole flight to Australia and deal with all of that. But yeah, we're gonna get early season, George Kittle in the same way we're gonna get early season Malik neighbors and we're gonna get early season Chris Godwin. I wrote about those three in the newsletter today too. Like I'm buying all three of those guys. I've not seen anything that should indicate, you know, proceeding with extreme caution on those guys. I'm ready to blast off there. We have Brock Purti, Jenty, Henry, Zae Flowers, Teteroi McMillan, Mike Evans, Jane Reed, Quentin Johnston and Tyler Warren and George Kittle. So we're good at wide receiver, good at tight end. We'll need to think through some of the quarterback and running back picks here as we progress through the mid to late rounds here. Looking at running back, I do like this window here. I think we should probably grab an Aaron Jones or Keaton Mitchell before this tear break really falls and then we can kind of figure out we'll have a lot of options for QB two and three with the stacked guys. - Agreed. I think Keaton Mitchell would be the one over Aaron Jones for me here. Also, how far has Marshall and Boyd steamed up? Are people reaching? Obviously his ADP is not moving as quickly as he's still on the board. 174. - He's, man. I mean, I saw Jacob Sanderson with a tweet yesterday saying like, don't we think, you know, Marshall and Lloyd should potentially be steaming up into this early RB two range around guys like Tyrone Tracy and Keaton Mitchell, this whole range right here. So would there ever be a part of you that wants to get ahead of it and pull them up or do you kind of want to, are you fine chasing them up the board or do you really want to kind of just grab them at his current ADP? - So I basically think about it through the lens of when is there an opportunity cost? You know, of like, if I was hard up for running back and we got shut out on this here, you know, maybe at 152, once we get into that range there where I'm like, all right, none of these wide receivers are inspiring, there's a wall of tight ends. I just want to make sure that I can make this team work which requires getting another body at a running back. But I'm not just pulling them up to try to like out steam the steam there. Any can be kind of room specific, right? Like there are some rooms where people are going to go get your guys and then others where you can't still get them at ADP. So I still want to be price sensitive, especially in this range, like I would say round 12 is kind of the last round where I feel like there are some priority targets and then it really starting to flatten out. So, but yeah, I hear you. I think once we get to round 13, it's kind of like all bets are off. - For sure. - Back on the clock here, this could be a Daniel Jones with Warren pick if you want to pull him up. We could also do a doubt. No, we're not going to do Dallas Goddard. We could do another running back, like a Tyrone Tracy or Woody Marks, what do you think? - Yeah, I mean, you know how I feel about Woody Marks. He would probably be my guy here or a naked Malik Willis just for QB2 purposes. - Yeah, remind me your Woody Marks take. Let's grab him because I do think we need another running back here. - Okay. - To me, he is the tweener of like, you know, some people will include him as part of this last call for running backs with a pulse here. Some people will say no, he's, you know, closer to that next wave. Give me the Woody Marks sell again. - Okay. Yeah, the Woody Marks sell basically comes down to the fact that I'm substantially lower on David Montgomery than the market is. - Okay. - And Woody Marks as a rookie wasn't nearly, I mean, he granted, he wasn't great, but a lot of that could be potentially attributed to the offensive line for the Texans being ranked in the bottom two in the NFL. And one thing that Woody Marks has that we know he can do, particularly from college is be an effective pass catcher. So even if he's not someone that's getting there between the tackles rushing, I think he, I just kind of view him as a better version of Jaden Blue in terms of the receiving work and potentially has more of an opportunity to grow in the run game in my opinion. So it's a little bit of a bet against David Montgomery and that Woody Marks will carve out more of a backfield role than what we think David Montgomery might do. So, and I think he just does have like a dual threat skill set that could be extremely valuable and he could serve as the bell cow in that backfield if David Montgomery were to go down. So that would be my thing on Woody Marks. I mean, his top comp in his year two comps comes out as Ramondra Stevenson. So a pretty solid, a solid comp, but I think like eight or nine out of 20 have at least one RB2 finish in fantasy points for games. So he's not dead by any means. I think people are kind of writing him off just because he's kind of like a name that people love to write off. But I think the numbers give him more credit than what the market is doing right now. Yeah, and I would say like Woody Marks is the perfect poster child of a guy I'm way more willing to be open to in Bestball where those users I think are going to be helpful whereas in managed, you do probably need a Montgomery injury to ever feel comfortable starting him. I'm afraid we're going to get brutally sniped on Daniel Jones here by this Alec Pierce team when he has one quarterback. But God, this would be a sick fall. If this drafter wants to let us have dimes, he is. - I am so much for your service, sir. - Yes. - Take that all day. We also have the CJ Stroud, Woody Marks out. But I like the Daniel Jones stack with Warren there a lot more. - I always let you know, it gets, it's nothing you go out of your way to do but there's something that gives me warm cozy feelings inside when you stack up your quarterbacks with your tight ends. So pretty with Kittle dimes with Warren we're cooking here 2, 4, 5, 2. Pretty balanced now that we get that second quarterback and we have these outs, whether it's Bryce Young with Teteroya, whether it's Geno with Genti or sorry, Mendoza with Genti and then did we have one more in here? I think that was it. So yeah, we have some, we have some quarterback out here. I do think we should probably get a third on this team. The question is, is there a player that we'd really want here at running back or wide receiver for us to pass on a Bryce Young? I mean, Omar Cooper falling to 161 would be pretty interesting. Has Marshall and Lloyd come off the board? Oh, yeah, you, yeah, you're in on Lloyd here. Yeah, no, he's still here. He's at 174. Yeah, that would be my guy here if he comes back. Embrace Young goes. So that makes it a little easier. To your point, his ADP is 174 and he is Busy. So Marshall and Lloyd's not coming back to 176. So if we do want him and I'm with you, I think we're a little thin here at running back, Genti, Henry, Mitchell, Marks. We can certainly justify the Lloyd pull up here. Let's do it in. Okay, so on why Lloyd is worth reaching for at this point in the draft. I mean, I think with Lloyd, it just comes down to the fact that like I said from what I saw Sanderson put out there yesterday is like, he seems to be like pretty much the unquestioned RB2 in Green Bay at this point. He's healthy for the first time in a long time. There's massive red flags.
with what's coming out about Josh Jacobs. I mean, I guess indirectly you think about what came out yesterday from Shafter about Puka and how the NFL could still impose a suspension on Puka. We could see something similar with Jacobs, even if the case gets dropped or, you know, it goes to the side, the NFL could still step in if they wanna make an example and suspend Josh Jacobs. I know we haven't seen them take actions like that in recent years, but I mean, it sounds like they're more open to it in 2026. And if Lloyd is that unquestioned RB2 that has an out, whether that's Jacobs getting suspended, whether that's Jacobs just being old, and, you know, maybe not having as much juice as he's had in the past, like, I think everyone watching Josh Jacobs run last year, he definitely, he doesn't look like the Josh Jacobs of old, right, he's kind of just a guy that you're, you're liking because he has the situation and he has the workload, but if Lloyd can stay healthy and maybe prove that he can be an NFL caliber running back, I think there's a chance we see him take on a usable workload even with Jacobs healthy. So I just think he doesn't really belong in this area, especially with all the words we've been here and come out about the backfield recently. So I mean, he went in the ninth round in my big dog on Monday. So like, people are pulling him up like 50, 60 picks. I'm totally happy pulling him up like 10 picks there. We are about to pick at 15.8. We have Purdy and Daniel Jones, Gentie Henry Keaton Mitchell, Woody Marksmarsh on Lloyd, Zay Teteroi, Mike Evans, Jane Reed, Quentin Johnston, Tyler Warren, George Kittle here. This is probably a spot to think about a wide receiver. I mean, we do have all of these rookies here, Branch, Cyrus Allen, Jacobi Lane. So there are some of these buds guys we've discussed, Pat Bryan, another guy getting buzzed here. We could also do a six running back if you really like like a Dylan Samson, what do you think here? I do like Samson. I think, I mean, our running back rooms a little more strong with Henry, Gentie up top. So maybe also thinking a wide receiver. I mean, maybe like his Akari branch would be a cool rookie. But I think I'm good on either. I did branch at the last second. I want to hear you talk about Branch. He's been one of the guys. He is rising a little bit. Has like a very clear spot on the depth chart right now. You know, behind London in pits. The guys on ADP chasing we're talking about in last night. I would say of like all the rookies, there's two I kind of have a blind spot on where my brain just kind of like ignores them draft and it's Zachariah Branch and Malachi Fields. Should I be more open as I just did here to selecting Zachariah Branch? I would definitely be more open to Branch particularly over fields. Branch, I think the one of the biggest selling points for me is he's just one of the very few wide receivers in this class that's an early declare. And if you think back to past years, how important it's been predictively to be a three year wide receiver in college and then coming out immediately when you can to the NFL draft. I mean, we really don't see it a whole lot anymore unless you're a blue chip prospect because you know, you're gonna get to the NFL, get drafted with a lottery pick, make a lot of money. But now with NIL, it makes it really complicated for other wide receivers to do that. So I think for Branch to come out and still get drafted in the top three rounds, it says a lot about what the Falcons think about him, especially as an early declare. So he would be a guy that I would definitely be prioritizing even though his production by himself hasn't been substantial in college. - Do you wanna play the Mendelso III QB connection with Jenty here? - I think so. - Yep. What about one of the other rookies that I mentioned in this article, there's a couple we haven't fully hit on yet. What are your thoughts on Cyrus Allen? He's getting pushed up, obviously some concerns about both Rice and Worthy injury stuff right now or are you buying the Cyrus Allen? He does have a significantly lower supermodel rating than some of these other guys who are in the low 70s that we discussed thoughts on Mr. Cyrus. - Yeah, so Cyrus Allen, obviously, I mean, nothing but positive news out of camp. But I think this is a pretty classic case of getting out over our skis. We've heard the same song and dance for so many wide receivers rookies. We've heard it for Justin Ross. We heard it for Jalen Royals last year to some extent. I think this kind of happens every year specifically with the chiefs. Also, Cyrus Allen, he was a four year player in college, but I'm pretty sure maybe he got held back or started late. He's pretty old. He's older than Xavier Worthy, believe it or not. So he's coming into the league as a super old rookie. He never really did a whole lot in terms of production in college other than scoring 12 touchdowns in his final season at Cincinnati. But if you're familiar with my work, you know, I do top 20 statistical comps for all these rookies. And for Cyrus Allen, we don't see a single super fantasy relevant comp. He comes out with zero out of 20. So a zero percentage rate having at least one top 24 finish or wide receiver two finish in fantasy points for game. The best names were seeing appear for him. Our guys like Darius Slayton, Darnell Mooney, Jalen Naylor, I guess. But a whole lot of zeroes for Cyrus Allen. Yeah, not great there. We're about to pick in two. So we are going to go looking here another guy who has been a little bit on the radar, Caleb Douglas. I put Keenan Allen in the queue. Again, not only do we have dimes, I think it's just a strong pick here. And I think we could bink that stack as well. What do you think about Keenan here? I would love Keenan over Caleb Douglas. Yeah, let's do Keenan. This gives us a three, five, seven, two. I mean, we're in good shape positionally here. Brock Pretty dimes, Mendoza, the five running backs, Gentie Henry, Keaton, Woody Marks, March on Lloyd. Zay Teteroya, Mike Evans, Jane Reed, Quentin Johnson, Zachariah, Branch Keenan Allen, Tyler Warren, and Kiddellat tied in. I think we could kind of do whatever we want with this final pick. Also, I got to give a shout out. My guy, Mike Schoep, the host over on ADP chasing, swings by here, playing Santa Claus today, gifted five memberships to the channel. Make sure you guys are thanking Mr. Schoep here. And take advantage of that membership. It'll get you access to the best ball bash show tomorrow. We're going to have that kick off at New and Eastern. We'll do a couple of drafts with YouTube members. And then we are going to have the randomizer show with none other than Mr. Ian Hartitz. He has been on the randomizer all seven seasons, going back to 2020, the only member of the Seven Timer Club excited to do the randomizer with Ian tomorrow. But cups, we got to make this last selection here. Where do you want to look? Maybe you a Seth McGowan guy? No, I'm more of a DJ-Kiddins guy, but I know the training camp stuff has been pointing to Seth McGowan. Oh, man. I mean, do we want a third time? Mayor, do you like Michael Mayer? I actually think that might be a solid click. I mean, the running backs left here are high zero risks, in my opinion. I'm cool with Michael Mayer. I think we're looking good at wide receiver. I think I think locking up a third tight end. I think Michael Mayer is probably going to hit our lineup more than any of these running backs for the most part. So I'd be happy to snag Mayor there. And you know, he's a great injury out. If Bowers gets hurt, we know that Mayor can step in and be a legitimate tight end one. Yes. And I don't select a lot of him, but this was the spot here. We have Mendoza. Like you said, you might be able to get a couple usable weeks out of him, even without an injury and then massive contingent upside. I mean, we had a game or two last year where Bowers was out. And I remember from a DFS perspective, he was projecting as a top seven top tight end those weeks when he was out, because he can just step in and play that role, a really good prospect himself. And yeah, if there were some other names that were interesting, maybe, but we didn't have many other stacking options with our quarterbacks. Like you said, running backs were wiped. Already at three QBs. I think that's the spot to grab, Mayor. Yeah, no, I think that's a totally solid price to pay on mayor, especially with Mendoza. I did want to go back and say one or two more things about Cyrus Allen, you visited that conversation. So I'm curious what you think. We did see it the first unofficial depth chart for the chiefs come out. And I think one of the big selling points on Cyrus Allen, at least for me, the one that's like hit home the most and been like, okay, maybe this whole thing with Cyrus Allen is legit, is the fact that we were hearing rumblings that he could be in line to take some of that like easy button stuff from Richie Rice. Because we know what Richie Rice can do in fantasy, and it doesn't necessarily require you to be the best, the best NFL wide receiver talent in general, to score fantasy points for them, in that role specifically. But when we see the first depth chart come out, we see that Cyrus Allen is the direct backup to save your worthy, not to Richie Rice. So it's like, do they really actually view him in the Richie Rice role? Do they view him more in the field stretch of role, the intermediate game like they do save your worthy? So I don't know how much do you read into these like initial depth charts and who they're backing up versus, you know, I guess who they're seeing as the starters, like that sort of thing. No, I don't read into it a ton. I would just kind of lean on what we think of him as a prospect, as far as what is this profile indicate. You know, they, you know, on the depth chart, I mean, Jalen Royals, it makes way more sense that he would be the guy behind Richie Rice. And now you basically have this Cyrus Allen, where it's like, he feels more to me insurance if save your worthy, if type one Thornton were to get hurt. But a lot of all this stuff is pushing me more to take.
one Thornton as still the guy that you want to click in the last round. 100%. Yeah, I think type one Thornton is definitely one of my favorite late round clicks in Bestball. And I think you're getting a little too cute if you're trying to click Cyrus Allen over him. But you say that Jalen Royals feels like more of the direct backup to Rishi Rice. I actually think like in theory, Cyrus Allen is the best backup to Rishi Rice. Even though I'm not a big fan of his prospect profile. And obviously we see that it's a super low hit rate, zero percent hit rate for that matter in terms of like a wide receiver to finish for Cyrus Allen. But he did have like a 93% slot rate on average in college. So he is like a he's obviously a slot guy. We know that's where Rishi Rice is making his money. Jalen Royals on the other hand, like he has more of an out like kind of a like a hybrid role outside and like Z. So yeah, I think Cyrus Allen kind of does fit the backup to Rishi Rice more as much as like I'm a little bit afraid to admit it. Like if we did see Rishi Rice miss time, I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Cyrus Allen step into that role. So it does get a little bit a little bit interesting. Yeah, 90 his highest slot rate in all of his seasons was 93%. That's 86% tile among all wide receivers since 2014. And that was his best season as well. So kind of interesting. Yeah. And I mean, you look as you know, he's 23 and a half. So I mean, this is about as old as you can get. He should come into the league more polished. Like we shouldn't necessarily be expecting, you know, big leaps from him in the way we do some of these 21 year old who come into the league. So yeah, that's a good shout there. It is just strikes me as a little interesting that of all of these guys Lane Hurst that he is the most popular there. But there is so much fragility in the chiefs pass catching room with with Rice worthy and you know Travis Kelsey at his age that like I understand taking shots on it. I just think for now, Taikwan Thornton is kind of my preferred way to play it. But I'm going to keep paying attention to to this drum beat and see if it turns into a gong beat here for Cyrus Allen. Yeah, I think that that would be nice. And it's already approaching gong, gong territory to be honest. I think yeah, we'll continue to see what his usage looks like in in the preseason as well. There's been rumblings that he might not even play. Like he'll be resting with the starters. But who knows, man, I mean, there's there's so many beat reporters, just kind of wanting to be the ones to generate clicks right now. So it's hard to know what to trust. Yes. UD says he's he's running with the ones now at ADP chasing actually had a good kind of little rant about this. I think it was Jacob on this too. Like teams are cycling in these rookies with the ones right now. Like it's the entire point of training camp. And they also have guys that have been missing practice and stuff. So while it's good, like I'm not saying that's a bad thing. To me, it's not like an indication that he's ready with the first team with they flip over the calendar, the regular season. I mean, the chiefs have been notorious with slow playing their rookies in a lot of ways. So I wouldn't over index on that. But yeah, the Rashi Rice stuff, the injury thing where they're talking about him still moving with a limp, you know, that kind of stuff is what's what's really interesting to me with that. So yeah, I don't I don't think he's a bad pick. I'm just proceeding with maybe slightly more caution, especially considering that I think Ty Quant Thornton is just a really good pick as well. Cups, let's point people in the direction of your new article up on the site this posted earlier this week. Tell them what they should look out for. And I'll drop it in the chat here. Cool. Yeah. So dropped an article on Monday over on fantasy life going over the three players I think could define 2026. When we look back on 2026, you know, after Christmas, January time, who were going to be the players in fantasy that were like, man, you just had to have that guy last year. It was like Jackson Smith and Jigba in the third round, Jonathan Taylor in the late second, George Pickens down at like the four or five turn. These are the guys that like really made that impact on your success in fantasy in that given year. So this was my take on the three guys. I think we could look back after this year and be like, wow, these you just simply had to have these three guys or one of them at least to have success to make the playoffs to win your championship. So this article goes over those three guys go check it out on fantasy life. New articles dropping every Monday and every Friday along with some videos as well over on my Cups Analytics YouTube channel. I mentioned this on Monday too. If you're looking for another highly entertaining video to drop into your queue, go back to Cups' YouTube channel from Friday where he did a big dog draft with Rambus and Tony Squares. I was enjoying that one from the chat and in the draft, but very entertaining stream. You guys got to run back that that trio at some point. Yeah, I loved that. I love that trio. We never actually gotten that trio altogether at once. And I think it was nice to have that's like fire and ice with Tony and Rambus. Yes. I think like being able to be in the middle of it. I like rather than when it's like when it's just me and Rambus, it's obviously a blast, but it's also like it's nice to have Tony in the room as like a mediator because Rambus and I disagree on so many things. And it's hard to figure out who we should, you know, who we should go with in terms of like our players. So having Tony as like the mediator, you know, the ultimate ball, no, or Tony Squares, he comes in and makes the final decisions for us. I think it's fun. So yeah, definitely going to get that run back in the next couple of weeks. I would hope. All right. Cups, we are going to let you get on your way. We will see you again next Wednesday at 10 a.m. Eastern. Thanks for the alpha on the prospects. Go follow him on fantasy life on Twitter, YouTube, all that good stuff. It's time to bring my guy Chad candles up on to the best ball breakfast airwaves. And we are going to segue this as well right into a coffee giveaway here. Chad, are you are you a coffee drinker? I am, but I make sure not to do that on stream because, you know, I know your lawyers are very vigilant. And so I just I do it all on my coffee pouring and drinking off stream. But yes, I am a coffee drinker. Okay, beautiful. Well, if you guys would like to win a free bag of the Vasilaros and Suns coffee, drop hashtag candles in the chat right now. We will do two of these today, but get in now hashtag candles. And while we're doing this, I am going to pour here another cup of coffee Chad. And then I want to add, what do you, would you be down to doing a liminator draft this morning? Absolutely. All right. Let's plan on that. All right. The coffee is poured. The giveaway is rolling in. While this is happening, I'm going to get us in an eliminator draft. One thing I realized Chad is, you know, I basically did all my eliminators via slows, but I'm like, I want to save some fast drafts for August, you know, keep a few in the pocket. And then I saw how quickly this is filling. And so I have four right now. And I'm like, if I play chicken with this and I end up getting to 148 drafts, I'm going to tilt my face off. So I'm playing fast and loose with this right now. I think I have 148 like puppy twos. Are one of them? And it just drives me nuts every time I see it. Yes. You know, last year, I do think I, I had an even number of eliminators. I think I got to like 135. And that was a little frustrating. But I know it's such a push pull because I'm like, I want to do some fast drafts. I don't want to do all slows. Have you wrapped up all of your eliminators? I messed up, man. I saved mine for the end. And I have like 70. I'm like, I'm just not going to max it. I met, I screwed up. It's too late for me. And now if I do slow drafts, I'm going to be on the dreaded four hour clocks. And yeah, last year I did 47 limbs. And I said, all right, I'm either going to do like 150 or do like 10. And I'm like, I'm doing 150. And I'm middleed it again. And not on purpose. Yes. Well, you could get some exposure here in this joint, a limb that we are doing. Let's also go ahead and spin here. Let's see. It was going to be the recipient. We had 56 entries in here. Good luck to all of you. If you win, shoot me a message on discord or Twitter. I'll get you a promo code. You head to the vassaleros and sons website and use the promo code. Here we have Hulk smash potatoes. Let's go. Hulk. Are you familiar with this username? This is my first time saying, oh, yeah, he's he's pop by my stream. He's a good one. And he has this bright green, like as you see, the avatar. It's a very really sticks out. And great username too. Great username. Hulk smash potato should be a message on discord, Twitter. I'll get you that promo code. And you can go get yourself a free brag of vassaleros and sons coffee. 107 here. Chad in the eliminator streets. You know, definitely used to seeing CMC and JSN off the board. And then you're kind of left with that decision of, do you do a JT? Do you do an almond raw? Are you a gente guy? That's exactly where we're at here. I'm not afraid of JT. I know there's people that just worry about them because the cults just absolutely collapsed last year. I take JT here, but I, you know, again, I can go any of these guys are fine. It's it's a really nice bonus because it, you know, if you're scared off of what the week to week volatility with Taylor, but then you get the week 13 buy, which is just such a massive thing for this contest. Yeah. I mean, this guy was though was the 101. What was it? Like three or four years ago? And he he would have been again, potentially like if the team doesn't just like, again, absolutely implode. He looked through like five or six weeks. He was like, oh, if you don't have JT, like you're you're in big trouble. So I don't know. I'm into him this year. We were talking about this on the
on yesterday's stream, often on the clock, we covered the big eliminator. And one of the things in that contest is different with what you're trying to do. But I think this idea of not punishing certain player archetypes when you can kind of use structure to make those guys work. And I think taking the discounts on some of these more boom bust or whatever kind of archetype you wanna give them is a really smart strategy. If you can build the resilience around them, knowing you do need a super team, when you hit week 14, week 15, week 16. - Yeah. - All right, we are about to pick here at two six. We have JT, Kenneth Walker, H&N here. Bowers, if you wanna get spicy, although double week 13 by, doesn't feel great. AJ Brown Drake, London. We'll see what the infamous Razor does. He goes H&N, you like Kenneth Walker here? - I'm Ken Walker here. I don't mind the week five buys, again, doing, you know, I was planning, I'd say 150 maxing, I'm gonna like maxing it or whatever I get. I feel like getting a bunch of these teams where you have like these early week five buys. Like, yeah, like week five might be bad, but once they're passed, I don't know. Like, I almost feel like there's something to be said for getting some of those early buy weeks for the surviving teams. 'Cause again, it is just kind of a numbers game with this. Once we get that through, I like having Ken Walker. I mean, I'm more than happy to, you know, if this team survives that, I'm feeling pretty good. - Yeah, I mean, I feel from my slow drafts, at least, it's a rare to be able to get basically any running backs with a pulse behind ADP, so to get Jonathan Taylor and Kenneth Walker together in this format feels good. Chad, let the people know your streaming schedule because you are basically daily live at what, 8.30 AM? - Yeah. - He's from the Scott Candles YouTube stream. - Yeah, 8.30 AM weekdays, most weekdays, occasionally, I have to, you know, I have to audible, but yeah, 8.30 AM, and typically just run, till about 10, if best ball breakfast is coming on, and you know, a little bit after if it's not, so we just take it as it comes, but it's been a good time. - Yes, make sure you guys are tuning in to Chad's streams. I thought I was early, you know, it's like 10 AM, I'm like, yeah, that's 7 AM, Eastern time in Chad's, like, hold my beer, 5.30 AM, mother fuckers, get up and watch me draft. - I have so much respect for the West Coast people that watch my stream, I'm like, man, I would not wake up at 5.30 for this, so thank you for doing that. - Yes, and let's get Chad to one case up as well. In the description, the link is hyperlink to his channel. We're on the clock, do we, we gotta do the neighbors thing at 3.7, right? - Yeah. - I mean, what's going on here? - Yes, let's do it. - Let's go on. Neighbors at week eight, same thing, right? Like, yes, there's a little bit early season risk, but they're now saying he's projecting to start week one. We can build out a team around this to maybe survive a one or two week ramp up there, but man, it's hard to pass on neighbors here. - This is one that I got wrong, especially with my early limbs. I was like, oh, neighbors is a terrible limb pick, and I'm like, neighbors was an incredible limb pick. I wish I had some, you know, round five, even like, he would go into like around four, around five, sometimes you'd see him in certain rooms. And I'm shocked that he's going to be probably ready for week one. I'm also a limb is the one contest I'm not worried, though, about being like behind. Like, I don't really care if there's round five teams, 'cause like, unless I happen to run into that, it's not the end of the world. You know, maybe if you want to quibble in BBM, even there, you know, you're just going to have different combos. But the limb, I'm like, someone got a better price, that's not really, not really my problem. - It really is only like weekly winners, where you're in one giant pool, obviously, you know, old school marathon contest, all of that, where you have to worry about that stuff. But yeah, head to head variance is going to be your friend in that regard. We start Jonathan Taylor, Kenneth Walker, the chat is like in it. We got this as a ship or steel, holy cow, you are cooking. I believe this means we cannot crash the plane, drop the baby, et cetera. - Yeah, this is a, we got to lock in. - Let's lock in, no more pleasantries. By ADP, we're staring at Lad, T Higgins, Montgomery, Waddle, Teterroya, Tuton here. I like Montgomery, and it's also a bi-week spread. There's also Lad, Waddle, Teterroya, Tuton, who do you think? - I'm fine doing Monty. Just because the running backs come back around could be pretty gross, depending on what comes back around. So I'm fine with that. Tuton's a weird one, Tuton, I feel like whatever content provider I've listened to latest depends on how I feel on Tuton. Like if I tuned into Davis, I'm like, oh, I need more. And then other people, I'm like, no, no, just take C-rod, like five rounds later and you're good. I know I want one of them. I don't know which one I'm kind of taking both. - Well, and it can be room specific. Looks like we do have a lot of friends and family in this one, but even as we were kind of working through in the big eliminator draft, I think if it's close in the early rounds, you just break the tie in favor of the running back and it just gives you a little more flexibility because there will always be wide receiver values, but some rooms will gobble up the running backs to an extent that you will hate your team and be forced to disobey some suboptimal decision. So yeah, happy to go, Montgomery there. I have to ask Chad, I know one of the things, one of your streaming hallmarks, your calling card, if you will, is reading every comment. Are you still able to read every comment or is your chat now so voluminous that that's not plausible? - It's getting away from me. It's getting away from me. It's getting harder. And now the more chat that comes in, the more likely I am to get Ron Bergen deed. So now I have to be more careful and then I fall behind. So it's, I don't know. I feel like the days of every comment are coming to an end, but you know what, maybe that's what the membes, membes only throwback streams are gonna be far just 'cause it's been a chat reading tale. - Or you could gate the chat to just you two members. That is something you can do. I do that obviously for the, for the bash. And that way you can get your comment guaranteed to be read dot, dot, dot, if you're a YouTube member. That's, that's actually really good advice. So we, you know, we'll see if we got the move to that. - There you go. Oh, I was gonna say Luther Burton would have been as such another fun slurp the dipperino here. Adam's J-mo DJ Moore Watson. - I think Parker Washington, but I know. - Let's do it. I'll just, I'm confused, let's do it. Fuck it. Parker Washington over Devote Adams. - It's gonna be 26. - You might be. (laughing) - Wow. - It's another great by week. Week 11's tough. There isn't being like a lot. - Oh, a lot of week 11 buys. - Okay, there we go. - You wanna win or do you route the chat? - Get excited. What's more important? - Is, you know what? Maybe I need to start optimizing for that. Stop, you know, whatever little takes I have, and God, my, my takes get weaker and weaker by the day. But maybe I just start playing to the crowd. Is it just, you just play the hits? You just draft the guys that are gonna get the most reaction? - I'll say this. If I took, if I took, or we took Adams there, it would totally be me dumping exposure onto you 'cause I'm kinda, I'm kinda low on him. I'm like, I don't wanna do that bit. So we did the opposite. Maybe you take a guy you're not in on him. - There you go. Parker Washington for the people. I was really hoping Burton fell the 55. Are you Burton or Washington? 'Cause that's now a conversation. - No, I take Burton. If Burton had fallen, I would have taken him there. - I mean, Burton neighbor's week one is a little bit scary right now, but I would have said no. 'Cause if this gets through, it's gonna be like, really, really strong. - Yeah, I don't know, I'm worried. Oh no, no, go for it. - I just say, I worry a little about some of the touchdown regression for Adams. I mean, we might be having this conversation in like three years again, 'cause his game just seems to age so gracefully, like he just might keep doing it forever. I don't know, it did feel like they were prioritizing him around the goal line, and if any of that shifts, yeah. - Yeah. No, I do think there's risks there for sure, and he's probably not as a liminator aspect that you would maybe want there. We are back on the clock. I do like Ramondra here a good bit. We also have the quarterbacks, Tony Pollard, BTJ, Marvin Harrison, who do you like in this room? - It was Ramondra for me, unless-- - Yeah, yeah. I'm kind of like surprised. I mean, getting these guys, I feel like the news on Ramondra too, and just how much they keep confirming that we're basically gonna run back last year with this backfield. And the offense is probably gonna be better. There's probably gonna be more goal line opportunities. We're in the liminator, and his price isn't rising. We also get a different buy we care. So we're now 13, 5, 8, 11. I love that pick. - I like it too. I'm surprised. It just feels like we just, we so wanted to be trivian. Like we just, even we hear it's, they're running it back. Like just like you said, and we're just still not really moving up Ramondra, like he's kind of the running back one on the Patriots, and you get them in the sixth round. We just wish it wasn't. I don't know, I'm totally in on Ramondra. I mean, I guess maybe late season, some of that shifts to Henderson, but like, might not. Like if the Henderson pass blocking stuff doesn't fix itself, like why would it? They like Ramondra, he's, it seems like he can do no wrong in variable size, so I'm in on it. - Yeah, and like, you know, we talk about all the hype right now. I hear the, one player I hear day, get of stuff on, it's just like, oh man, you know, Trevian Henderson's still not all the way there in pass protection, you know, Trevian Henderson still has a lot to learn. I'm like, every single guy with a pulse gets buzz right now, but Trevian Henderson is still somehow in the doghouse before the season even starts. - It seems not great. I don't know. - Does not seem great. We got four running backs, two wide receivers. I love it.
this team we're cooking with here. Definitely a spot to consider wide receiver. I think you could also make the case for like naked Dak Prescott with that week 14 buy. Who do you like here? - Gosh, I'm Dak or Godwin here. - Yeah, this is, I think I would take Godwin just, but I do like Dak a lot. They're gonna score a lot of points and it's such a late buy. - Let's go Godwin, let's go Godwin. I think I'm with you. I think it's really close. I mean, I'm obviously pretty Godwin pilled now. Dwayne had a glowing right up about him. He included him in the same tier as the DeBonte Adams, the Terry McClurens, all of that. Obviously going multiple rounds later than that crew here. I think he's a really solid pick for us, especially to balance out maybe the neighbor's slow start. Like let's get some early season targets with Godwin here. - No, I agree with that on Godwin. And especially if I'm, you know, I know, I know Chess Liam is coming on later. So I'm low to say anything negative about Igbuka. But, you know, if I'm a little light on Igbuka, I think I have to be overweight Godwin. Like I, I, I, I. - Well, and you know what's so funny about that is Dwayne is mega bullish on both Igbuka and Godwin. And I think there is room of like if those guys are healthy, I mean, they are an offense that can use the Ted Hearst, the Jalen McMillans, but you could easily see those to consolidate in a pretty, pretty big way. So yeah, I have been in on Godwin. I've been light on Igbuka. I need to catch up on Igbuka. Like that's a guy in these next few weeks that I need to work harder on. How have you been playing? Are you in on Igbuka pretty big? - He's probably the earliest guy I have like a near full fade on. And I'll be honest, it's starting to feel pretty uncomfortable 'cause I like Tampa and I'm, it could just look really stupid. So I need more of him. I think I need to try to get like 4%, 5%. - Yep. We're about to be on the clock here. I do like both of these quarterback options, either Herbert or Lawrence anything else you're seeing. - No, I would take Herbert or Lawrence and I think this goes back to like the eliminator question. Like, do we, is it better to do the P-wash, Lawrence stack or take Herbert? I imagine it would be T-Law, but I could go the other way. I think the fact that they, if they had, if say Herbert had the week 12, week 13 buyer, whatever, I think maybe you break the tie there, but with the same buy, I say we lean into the correlation. - I like that too. - And if it's a BTJ week, we're not dead. If the BTJ people are somehow right, we're not good. - We're also gonna have the Trevor Lawrence weeks where he rushes into touchdowns and none of the wide receivers get there and we're just playing that this often smashes. So yeah, I do think that's a really fun one to think through with those stacks and obviously the cheaper the stack gets, the more you can kind of loosen that up. I don't think that was like probably right on the tweener line of what you'd wanna do. - I've definitely gone both ways in that kind of exact circumstance in a limb. And I'm like, this is where I wish I was Alex, I mean, I'd ever green comment, but I wish I had the, the math wherewithal to kind of break that down and exactly in this form at what is better, this sort of correlation or just, I think Herbert in a vacuum pie is generally gonna project more than Den Lawrence will. Also, again, maybe you're limiting your downside a little bit if you're taking those two on different teams. I don't know, it's like a really interesting thought exercise. - Yeah, real quick here for Chronic, can you touch on what underway overweight means? So yeah, so when we use that, we're just saying if you always took a player at ADP on average over a large sample size, you'd have one of 12 in each round of a player. So that would be 8.3%. So if you're at 8.3, it means you're basically taking that guy whenever he's available for you at cost. If you're underway, it means you're passing on him at ADP often. And if you're overweight, it means you are reaching for him. In the same way, Cups is gonna be massively overweight on jetty 'cause he's taking him ahead there. So that's basically how it shakes out and how the numbers would break down around that 8.3% line. Harold Fanon, Jackson Dartbrock Perty, Rashad White, Xavier Worthy, what do you think? - I would be fan under pits being that you didn't say pits, we can do fan, I'm fine doing fan, and I like both of them. But both week 11 by, I mean, don't you think the Fanon profile may be slightly better for a limb there versus traditional? - I have trouble breaking those two 'cause I really like both of them. - Yeah. - I don't know, I feel like in a two-a-led offense, it could end up being really condensed between, with the pass catchers, between London and pits, Fanon, again, the quarterback play. I mean, he got there with absolutely a trotious quarterback play, so he seems like maybe QB proof. I don't know, I really like both of them. - Yeah, and more than that, he is a fan. - Yeah, I just think, I mean, one of the pits his calling card was his yards last year. I think he averaged like 73, 74 yards of game, Fanon obviously averaging more catches in targets per game. So I think you can get there both ways. I guess if I'm just straight breaking ties in a liminator, go a little bit to Fanon. One other interesting thing, shouting out Dwayne, he found the tight end position is the only one where previous year fantasy points isn't the strongest indicator for future performance, and it's actually receiving yards that speaks to, that's the, you know, touchdowns very variant, not as sticky. And so it's just who are the guys who are putting up yards? That's the biggest indicator in Kyle Pitts. I believe was top three last year in yards, along with McBride and Colston Lovelin. So Kyle Pitts, a very strong selection, also kind of a fun thought experiment as it pertains to the liminator. Let's see here, we are about to pick. We want to keep tabs on quarterback. We have one, four running backs, three wide receivers, one tight end. I certainly love the Xavier worthy value here. I also think we could grab another quarterback. What do you think? - The worthy value is nice. I'm okay, I'm okay trying to get two later quarterbacks. We could get iced out though. I think I'm, I'm think I'm good worthy here. - Yeah, I mean, we have Lawrence, I think where we pick next, 127, 138, I think we're gonna be okay here. I kind of like grabbing worthy. We're still a little behind at wide receiver worthy as our wide receiver for. I like that selection there at 114. - Yeah, wide receiver could really get away from us. I mean, I mean, I know there's a million friends and family in this room so I shouldn't say, but I'm like a Malik Willis truth there. So if I'm in Round 11, I'm just like, oh, it's pick 120 something, it's Malik Willis time. And that's probably gonna serve me absolutely terribly. But I do like him if he plays the full season, I think he could actually be really good in a three QB build on an liminator team if he really does have that rushing floor. And again, if his game is the deep ball, that's what he's good at. He could also have some really big spike weeks. I think he's a little undervalued, but it's also the dolphins are gonna win three games and he might be terrible. We've seen him be good for about three games. So, you know, it's a, hey, there's always next year if it goes bad, but I don't mind the other quarterbacks. Baker, I would have had an interesting discussion. Would we have gone Baker for the Godwin stack? We would have been in the same boat of Baker versus like, Chuck or I think Stafford, or no, Stafford had just gone. So we, yeah, it would be like naked Chuck versus Baker stacked up there. Yeah. Yeah, no, I'm with you. That's one where you probably start to, are you opening yourself up to too much downside rest where it's like one bad game from the Jags in the box and you are pretty firmly wiped out. This would be a spot where like Jordan Love does go so we can table that conversation. I mean, Dobbs, Concepcion, Higgins here, Keith Mitchell, if you want another running back. Dobbs here, I think. Yep. I think Dobbs were behind at Wide Receiver, ADP value, different buy there. We now have 8, 7, 10, 5, 11. We have somehow managed to not have a single overlapping buy at within any of the position groups, which is always nice. That's pretty amazing. We got a nice little bet on New England. I mean, Dobbs is the quintessential eliminator ass pick. I feel like, but I don't know, I don't mind him. I'm also a little bearish on AJ Brown. So again, I find myself taking Dobbs because I don't want to miss out on path stuff. Explain your bear case, 'cause I'm with you. I think he's probably more volatile selection than his ADP would indicate. Yeah, it's just like the knee stuff. The knee stuff does concern me just looking at. It felt like he was, it's hard to know how much like his tailing off was related to just that Eagles team being so such a nightmare. I don't know, I don't really worry about the off-to-field stuff. I feel like sometimes these guys moved to new places and they're kind of on their best behavior. It's just, I don't know. I like the other guys in his range. I also, again, I missed the boat on him and what was he in like the 30s or late 20s? And seeing him at 19, I'm like, I'll just take Drake London every time or one of those Brock Bowers or something. Good says, great team. Chad is beating the robot reliance allegations. Yeah, we're flying without the sidekick on this one. Are you feeling naked and exposed or are you feeling like a free thinker? I feel like I'm one of the most vibes-based drafters and somehow I get the sidekick and everyone thinks it's like, oh, I can't draft it. I do most of my drafts on my phone, like running around my house, I don't know. We're about to pick at 12/6 here. We could have the, do you slurp the Keaton Mitchell Dipper? I work with Mill and Keaton Mitchell, I think. Let's do it. Nothing more vibes-based than getting Keaton Mitchell here. Man, this is a fun-ass running back room. Jonathan Taylor, Kenneth Walker, Dave and Montgomery.
from Andre Stevenson, keep Mitchell dot, dot, dot, with a week seven by which does not overlap. - Yeah, we had to do it. - We're putting on a by-week clinic here. - Yes, this is. - No, I like Mitchell again, the comments I've, gosh, training camp is nuts. Like I think the comments yesterday from McDaniel about Mitchell, VDoll and Hampton were yesterday, but everything happened so fast that could have been a week ago, I have no idea. But just seeming like they're gonna be more hot handy, I've seen Hampton fall in a couple of drafts I've had, I, I like Mitchell again, shout out Davis. I, he's been pounding the Mitchell drum. I've been dutifully taking him. I, I like the Mitchell stuff. - Yeah, it's fun, I mean, I was talking about it with cops, but I just like more and more, I think my late season drafting plan is pretty big fades on Hampton and Lad, and just playing everything through the cheaper charger pieces. Like I think that's just kind of how I want to tilt my portfolio here. We get Keith Mitchell as our running back five, we have those five wide receivers now with dobs worthy Godwin Parker Washington and neighbors. The one tied in with Fanon, the one quarterback with Lawrence. You can always catch up at tied in. I think our one thing as crutches was pointing out this quarterback can get wiped here. I think we might be okay though, we've just had Daniel Jones go since our previous pick. - Yeah, I think, I think we'll be okay, but I can't even, you know, old, old best ball breakfast layout. I could have blamed my face being in the way of the board. I just got excited about. - You're good. Kim Ward, Bryce Young are both here. So only time is one. - Yeah, I think that's fine. - It is week nine, I think. So we're another by week, right? We got a new by week. - We have a new by week. I mean, we, at this point, I'm willing to make a suboptimal pick just to not have any overlapping by week nine point. - We kind of might have to commit to the bid. This would be like ending with 148, you know, ellipse like we, if we somehow overlap a by week now. - Here we go. We're cooking here. - I guess, see, this is like some clown had to take a fourth quarterback and now they, they mocked up the whole, you'd be market. - Please don't call Razor a clown, okay? Please. - I can't see the name for too small. (laughing) - I forgot this was all friends and family. I was highly likely to call a loyal viewer, a clown. Ray, I apologize, you're not a clown. I know you four Cubis is kind of your jam. - Yes. No, we'll be all right because this is also a spot here where I do think you get a few more quarterbacks who open up an eliminator that we're just not gonna draft in BBM, the presets, the two of us. I mean, we could even wrist up a little bit, although I don't, doesn't sound like shoulder is gonna play week one. So maybe that doesn't line with it, but at least Brassette and Tua, I think are more viable here. - Yeah, I agree, particularly Tua for me. Yeah, we knew the one QB drafter was definitely going to take Rogers, which is a little unfortunate. Again, we might have gotten past it. So are we taking another QB? I don't see one on there. Is this where we panic and say, I don't, or no, I'm not. - No, I say we sit on QB3. I think we look at tight end here or wide receiver. - I like wicks here. - Yeah, pull up wicks. - Okay. - Yeah. - I'm good to pull up wicks. I know I ruined our buy thing, but he just feels like good, potentially good for a limb. This lemon stuff has me a little skeezy, at least as far as early season availability. I think he could hold onto that wide receiver to roll longer than maybe some people think. - I'm with you, I'm with you. I think wicks, I think my line on him has been, I just think you have a lot of outs at this point, whether it's early season momentum. I think he's good enough to where he could hold off a rookie, like lemon for a while, and then even late season stuff, him and three wide receiver sets with lemon and smitty. He can still easily spike in those scenarios. Goddard's ancient, any kind of contingent upside there too, with smitty in those guys. There's just a lot of ways, wicks hits, and again, you want to talk about a steady drumbeat guy. It's like every day there, like wicks looks great. - Yeah. - Yeah, he's been getting like really good buzz. - I mean, let's go ahead. - Let's go ahead. - What's up? - I was just saying, we can chat in this guy. What is it? Eager's edge, edge, edge. - I don't know how I think it's edge. - Egg gurgers, I think is how you pronounce it. - Three was one and two taken, what happened? - Gido and Bressette do go. So we might have to think through that element. I do think being a little patient on tight end is working out. I mean, Hawkinson, Gadsden, still in this range here, Barner is well. How do you think we play this spot? - Yeah, tight end at the end is flat. I have my favorites. I take a lot of Greg Dullsich. I was taking Gunnar Hell and my back off of that. I don't know, I feel like the answer to the wide receiver one in Miami will probably actually be Dullsich, is how I've played it. Again, I don't know if we wanna take two of here. I think he's live to start. - Do you not like Hawk? - I don't like Hawk, but you can take Hawk. - You wanna do Gadsden, do you like Gadsden? - I don't like Gadsden. Who do you, let's do Dullsich. If we're gonna vibe space with Chad, let's vibe up. - Okay. - Hawkinson would be another example of exposure dumping. All of my Hawkinson stuff is from like, either having a gaster occasionally will come up on the sidekick, and it's like the most reluctant click. And I shouldn't be, right, like he's fine. He's fine. He's fine. I was open to him here, like ADP of 167, 175, ETR ranks 7 at 148, but would it shock me if Dullsich outscores Hawkinson? No, not at all there. And we're gonna get to three Titans anyways. There's a decent amount here. Mendoza, Tua, Shadur, still on the board as well. We have three more picks. So we can, we're probably gonna be a third quarterback. And this could even potentially be a four-tight end team or we get that seventh wide receiver depending on how you're feeling. - Yeah. I know we started off so well. I do feel like maybe Keaton Mitchell could have been Daniel Jones and I think everyone is feeling really good about the team. But you know what, hey, we've got T-Lon cam ward. What could go wrong? - I mean, come on, Keaton Mitchell, we had to do it. Let's see here, Mendoza, Tua, do you wanna do one of those now? - Yeah. - Do you have a preference? - I think in a limb, I take Tua, but I don't know, Mendoza is gonna be starting at the ends. I don't know, let's do Tua. - Yeah, Tua, I mean, Trevor Lawrence week seven by cam ward nine, I mean, most people fully expect Mendoza to take over by five or six, but we know how important that fast start is having that third quarterback for those first five or six weeks there to help us ensure this team escapes, I think is probably the right move. - Yeah. - No, I like that. Again, we talked about the early quarterbacks mattering and Tua starting week one. - All right, here's the team so far, three, five, six, two, we have Trevor Lawrence cam ward and Tua at quarterback, Jonathan Taylor, Kenneth Walker, David Montgomery, Ramondra Stevenson, Keaton Mitchell at running back, neighbors Parker Washington, Godwin, worthy dobs, wicks at wide receiver fan and dulcich at tight end. I do think ideally we get to the eighth wide receiver, the question is, can we find a third tight end we like here? Are you part of the Charlie Kohler Vortex group or are you holding strong? - I got swept up in the vortex, I have to admit, I can't really help it, it's very powerful, as you know, we've all succumbed, I mix him in, in the same way I mix in Michael Mayer, even Eric Hall, late, late, yeah, I don't know. Again, we passed on a very cheap Gadsden, so in so doing, I don't mind taking Kohler here, I like him more than the other options. - You like Kohler more than Gisike? - I do. - Okay, let's do it. I mean, if we're, this is how you balance your range, your free thinking, your clicking, Kohler, we gotta get the Kohler bear on here. Harold Fanon, Dolsage Kohler, can we go to battle with this team? - I love it, I think that's pretty good. I did see some people saying the dolphins have been talking to other tight ends, yeah. Well, if we can't beat out Waller, like this bet was never gonna work out. - Let's be clear, the dolphin should be talking to anyone who will pick up the phone, like literally anyone, so I'm not sure. - I should be worried about that. - Yes, all right, we have one more pick to make here. We have the three quarterbacks, five running back, six wide receivers, three tight ends. I will say, like, if Mendoza were somehow to fall, I would have no problem with him as a fourth quarterback. I think we also find our flavor of wide receiver here. - Yeah, the flavors are pretty not good. We're down to the end here. - Yeah, Thornton, it's funny, you had plenty of cups mentioning Thornt. I took Thornton in a BBM this morning. I like him, with everyone obsessed with Cyrus Allen, Thornton starting in three wide receiver sets. I find that somewhat intriguing. Zachariah Branch, again, I can't remember who I was listening to talking about him potentially being the kind of short yardage target that we'll just thrive in a two-a-based offense.
like he's actually like the perfect fit for to a like oh yeah all he is is a yak guy. Well that's all to what can kind of do. So I don't know I could go that way too. Yeah. So branch stacks up with to a cup is just the eliminator as picked. Ike one Thornton is kind of like the passing baton thing with worthy potentially whatever any of these three pick your favorite. Oh, let's do branch. It's fine. He's up up there. All right. We'll take branch there with to a place some cheap late correlation. Like you said, I think there was maybe some 2v2s with the quarterback spot that maybe we flip. But otherwise, I think this was a pretty damn nice squad. I will list it off. You tell me what you think Lawrence cam ward to a at quarterback. Jonathan Taylor Kenneth Walker, David Montgomery, Ramondra Stevenson, Keith Mitchell at running back. Neighbors Parker Washington, Godwin, Worthy, Dobbs, Wicks, Branch at wide receiver, Fanon, Dulcich, and yes, the Kohler Bear at tight end. How do we do chat? I like it. I like to do when I dropped in a limb, the exercise like if I face this team, how would I feel? I feel pretty nervous if if I flipped the cards over and this and this was the squad. I mean, just the Taylor Walker neighbors is that's pretty good and then say what you will. Parker Washington actually is the second coming of Jerry Rice. Like this is this is going to look pretty good. Fanon at tight end. It's a pretty good team. Yeah, what I would look at at this route, I would be going against these running backs, you know, when you're going to have so many of these guys projecting. I mean, you these four could project pretty easily as top 15 running backs on a weekly basis there throwing them missile spikes. It really is I think the quarterbacks that come down to this. It's like obviously we need to at a play and we need cam ward to be confident because it's a house of cards if those award into a stuff don't work. Yeah. Well, we did it. I'm very thankful that you were down to do an eliminator here. So I don't get boxed out of the the 150. What what kind of stuff are you bouncing around on the stuff you draft on stream? Are you mainly doing BBMs? What's been the word for you? Yeah, I've been doing BBMs. Alims and Badge Bros. Brawl Brad's Bros. Brawl. My favorite contest on the whole site. I I will be maxing that. I have about like 25 left. I I love the format. If you have average advance rates, one final a year, 100k up top, like, you know, BBM, you're expected what every seven to eight years with average advance. If average advance rates, it's such a it's still refreshing. Like you can build teams. You have like not even close to what you're building before. The scroll down stuff is really fun. You can you can just like build some stacks. No one's going to have or you can just like value hound and build like super teams. Like it's it's just fun. You can do a lot of different things. That's a nice change of pace. Yeah, $10 entry. Go get in that 100,000 who have been your favorite scrolls in in that contest? Is there any one? Are you doing the Malik Willis? You got to be doing Malik. I do. I have I have more Malik Willis than I I showed it. I have a 79% Parker Washington. I'm trying to get to 80. I'm trying to just get just be like if this drum beat is real, I'm just going to win this contest and become the third bad bro. I don't know if that's actually one of the prizes, but yeah, I'm I'm pretty excited about that contest. Yeah, Malik Willis big time scroll. I was taking some stiff digs, but not as much as I thought again, because I have Parker Washington. So week 17 trying to get a guy that right. He was not owned most of the time. Once he signed, he's probably going to be owned in about half the contest or something like that. Doing a little bit of like Josh Downe, Danny Dimes, stacks again. These guys don't get taken every time. Not scrolling like super far. Like I'm not taking like stribbling, like not doing. Yeah. It really is analogous to the BR's, right? Where it's like you want to scroll because those fringe guys don't project that differently. But if you scroll too much, you are just watching the entry on fire. And so I mean, what it it's kind of that, I mean, we talked through it on the off and on the clock show a couple of weeks back. But it's it's what it's the 80 piece, 100 to 130 basically is kind of that Goldilocks zone. Yeah. Yeah, that's that seems right. Like beyond that, you you can go off the cliff. And like tight ends, especially like Brent Strange isn't taking every time. Like and then like you end up in a gradient and then you find yourself like, okay, I probably don't need, you know, Mike Gassicki on this team. Like you can like kind of fall off a cliff real fast, but above that are guys who are taking like far less than half the time. And why receiver, yeah, why receiver is pretty great. Like Michael Wilson doesn't get taken every time. I see maybe he's a bad example because he's kind of polarizing, but just like guys that are, you know, seventh, eighth round picks and BBM or nine, 10th round picks and BBM are like not 100% known. So are the are the dolphins like the Malik Willis Dulcitch? Are these going to be the guys that that define your your season or who who does it all hinge on for you? It hinges on Greg Dulcitch. I have like 30 things like for that roll the ship chasing Dulcitch clip in your head. Oh, it's so bad. It's so bad. I like it just, you know, no, no snowflake feels responsible for the avalanche. So it's like no individual draft. I'm like, I'll just take another share of Dulcitch. I'll take another share and I'm like, oh, third of my teams have this guy. I have 34% Malik Willis. So I'm, I mean, I'm saying this, I'm, it's true. Money where mouth is like it's are you going to have Sunday ticket and it's just dolphins games and red zone are those the two that are up on your screen? The problem is if I have red zone up, they're never going to show the dolphins. That's why he's separate one. Yeah. That's why I need the box. Like, oh, yes, the six yard past Dulcitch. We are, we are. That's, uh, do you have, you know, with all of your love, I mean, one of the guys I was, I didn't get to talking to cups about, but has been getting some positive buzz is, is Caleb Douglas. Are you buying that one at all? I am. I have been taking him, uh, I've been taking, I have 1.2% of him. I thought I was taking him. Apparently, I'm not taking. I do that all the time where I'm like, Oh, yeah, I'm really in on this guy. And then you pull up the exposure. It's like I have 2.4%. So I don't know. Take that back. I thought I was. I let Caleb Douglas. I tweeted about him about, oh, maybe two weeks, a week and a half ago that like, there's time to be the Caleb Douglas influencer. And that's why I've been just retweeting that because I'm like, ah, you know, he's might get 500 yards. Like, no, it's, he's, he does feel like a, like an absolutely clickable 17 18 round click. And now I see him getting taken. Sometimes I'm like, I'll take him in the last round. He's gone. Can't have cornering, cornering the market in your brand around the Miami dolphins. That could go wrong. It's either like the biggest windmill victory lap of your life or it just all goes up and flames very quickly. Yeah. I mean, last year was scatabo and that felt I felt like the king and then it all went, it all went out. This, this kind of it kills me. Clicking Caleb Douglas once feels like clicking him 20 times. Maybe that's what it is. But it is nice. I'm 1.9%. I thought I had eight. Also, yeah, Chirop, this is another one too as someone who has started clicking a little Caleb Douglas. What's the latest on Chris Bell? You, we got any, any news on him? My, my take on him is sort of, it's a little bit recursive. Like, okay, he's not going to be ready at the beginning of the year. He might be playing late, but the dolphins are going to be so bad late. Are they really going to try out a guy off of an ACL injury to play in like a hopeless season? So I don't know. I'd like to think he is playing later because, you know, they are going to want to get him on the field sooner than later. Imagine they're going to take it very cautiously. They did take Caleb Douglas ahead of Chris Bell. Obviously, you know, that wouldn't have happened if Bell was, was healthy. I think people projected him as a first, second round pick in some circles. He's tough for me to get to, but I wouldn't like fault anyone for, for getting there on him. Uh, I just dropped in the chat, uh, Chad candles YouTube. You can also search just at Chad candles on YouTube. I see him at 765 subscribers right now. That is way too low. Go in subscribe. Gunner says Chad is so good. We need him on this show every week. Well, guess what? You know, we might, we might have some fun stuff cooking up. Let's just say this isn't the last time you're going to see Chad on this channel. So stay tuned for that. But always love drafting which had love catching him on his morning streams. Uh, when I can Chad, let the people know anything else, uh, about the channel and your programming coming up here. Yeah. Again, 8 30 weekdays. We will be rip in drafts to the very end. Once the season starts, we will be a rip in B.Rs, dog vols, all that great stuff. But Pete, I just want to thank you so much for, for having me on. This was awesome. And I think we built a pretty good team. Hopefully we can sweat it for a long time. Yes. We will be checking in on this one on the portfolio review shows this coming season for sure. Chad, uh, I'm going to let you get going. We will be in touch and, uh, good luck to you and all of your Miami dolphins back. Hey, thank you. All right. Uh, there goes Chad welcoming to the show. Uh, I believe the first time on this channel, we did a draft on the deposit kingdom channel. Previously, it's Madison Parkhill, great sub stack writer over at reducing uncertainty over at established the run now as well. Madison, welcome to best ball breakfast. Pete, what's up, man? It's good to be here. Yeah, man. How is your, how is your summer, uh, Ben going? I always look forward to your, uh, sub stack posts. And now you're, uh, behind the scenes over there with ETR. Yeah, it's been fun. Um, how they have, uh, getting a lot of volume in on, on the drafts. And then being behind the scenes, ETR has been great to work with those guys. Um, every, every projection, very, uh, detail oriented, um, which is something good for me is I'm usually more on the, on the vibe side, um, not quite as down as we is, is Jack and, and, and Mark and some of those guys. So yeah, it's been good so far, man. Well, I'm sure we'll talk about stuff more as we get going. What would you?
What would you like to draft here? We can do a BBM. I got one pit bull left, anything that you've been particularly vibing with? - I haven't done much eliminating, or I know you said you're behind. So you're not gonna get as insightful for me on that one. So maybe BBM or any of the others would be fine too. - Let's do a BBM, we just did, and we'll probably wrap up with back-to-back BBM. So do BBM with you and Liam here. I'm just trying to pace myself to get everything perfect, but I think we gotta get the takes flying in a BBM here. But yeah, as this gets filled, what are the exact things you're doing for ETR? How are you helping them out? - It's mostly just when I see something, I've done a ton of volume on my think of like 700 or so in a dog, another 200 or so on other sites. Whenever I see something that is standing out is, hey, this is a spot where the ranking might be diverging from ADP a lot, or I'm really leaning here. Having get that over to Jack and Mark with those guys check, we'll discuss it and kind of go from there. Sometimes there's a change, sometimes I think my vibes are off a little bit. So that's kind of been the main thing. And then a few beautiful articles along the way, the landscape one was the big one at the beginning. It's kind of a unique year, I think, landscape-wise, with the week rookie class, and kind of how the ADP and the quarterback sizes shifted. So that's been a big focus of mine too, is trying to get the macro strategy stuff right this year. Beautiful. Well, we got the 103 here. Do any things stand out where you kind of came to the rankings team and you're like, hey, let's massage this. Either they capitulated to you or you stood down because you said all right, the math is too strong here. - I think some of the main things that I have changed my opinion on what I would expect it to do have been the Eagles. And then I'm kind of standing apart still from the chargers a little bit. Mackai Lemon, especially, has been one that, based on how I usually like to draft, I would be chasing him up quite a bit, especially when you could just go hurts lemon at that turn. - Sorry, real quick, are you good B-John here at one three, falling to us? - Oh, yes, of course. Wow, usually I hate the 103 because I don't, one of the tops are running back, but that's nice. - There we go. But yeah, go back to the Eagles here as we lock up B-John. - Yeah, so Lemon has been somebody I think that we've had a hard time getting the math to work on, but from a purely, you know, rookie receiver, walking first drum pick, walking into a potentially a lot of targets, that's somebody that normally I would be hammering a lot of us, whereas the math I think has made me temper that a little bit, and of course with the hamstring injury that has kind of come our way. So I'm looking forward to getting a lot more of him here in the last few weeks. - Very nice. Yeah, we do get B-John slipping to us here at one three with Chase going at 102. I want to say remembering your last article post, you have some pretty heavy stands with your exposures, right? Like you're not afraid to get up to, you know, 30, 35% on some guys. - I, it's pretty rare for me to get all the way to 30% and stay there, but there's two guys that I've hit that threshold with this year, and they are quite similar players. I certainly have a type of receiver I like. It's Josh Downs and Jalen Noel. Jalen Noel, I think, he has a lot of ways he fails. That's why he's an 18th, 19th round pick. But if you look at some of the reception, perception stuff, the prospect coming out that he was, he has some target earning ability that I think it really pay off. So he's been one that I've had a lot of. I will say the injury and Tankdale potentially being healthy and then some Xavier Hutchinson camp, I guess you would say hype, has made me temper that down a little bit. But he's still somebody I think that, even if he does not hit big and most outcomes, he has some upside to do that. As far as Downs, I go, go ahead, go ahead. - No, no, no, no, keep going on downs because they're such, I mean, that's like one of the most polarizing topics right now. The specter of Keenan, his Downs massively underpriced. Is he too frothy? So yeah, no, what's the downstick? - I mean, I was hammering him around the 180p range. I think basically you're the only thing you're afraid of is the Keenan Allen signing, which is becoming less likely every day. I think when Mark and Jack and the entire guys in Gretchen kind of talk through it on the projection pods, basically they just were saying, slowly over time, we'll increase Downs' target share as we go closer and closer to not a Keenan Allen sign. And I mean, basically my stance is that he is going to, as soon as they don't sign him, he is going to lead the team in targets. And he's probably the cheapest player in the pool to do that other than the Dolphins guys. So the upside is very high. Now, I like, I chased him up a little bit last year. So I'm a little gun shy. I haven't decided, you know, how, how fully I'm going to recommit to that the rest of the way. - Yup. All right, we are about to pick here at 210. We'll see if we could get the rare B-john Brock Bowers combo. Let's see here what Pilgrim does. If Bowers does go, who do you like? If Bowers goes-- - He does. - He does go. I would probably jump down to a running back here because all these receivers are about the same. Probably Breeze would be my favorite. - Yeah, let's do Breeze there. Yeah, so I mean, obviously, but give me the Breeze over Jeremiah Love Take. - So I think the Jets, they're a Corbett for me. I wrote that up. I think last week isn't published on reducing uncertainty. They're a Corbett for me. Basically, every single position on the Jets improved this year. Now, they're the Jets. The coaching is maybe not what we want. However, if the offensive line is better, Breeze is still in place. Receiver is better, quarterback upgrade. I think there's a lot of ways that Breeze hits the type of skill and we think you can have. - Love comes back to Vante Smith, Tremick Brides. Zay Flowers here. Who do you like? - We'll probably go probably a Lava for me. I see him on the top on the solver there as well, based on the ETR rank. - Interesting. So yeah, Lava over Devante in McBride. I guess I've been worried about just Tyson being really good and that not aging gracefully down the stretch. Sell me on Lava this early. - Basically, he kind of had a bit of a roll change last year, including from the great work that Matt Harmon does. You see that they got him on way more horse on a breaking routes. High volume, easy catch routes that Lava is obviously very capable of running and earning targets on. And so his floor, I think, compared to Rice, Devante, some of those guys in that range is higher. Then what we, you know, we're so little bit, it's a bit of a projection with Devante Smith. I think he's very good. However, with AJ Brown-Gone, he'll see the number one quarterback. Whereas I think a Lava is just slotting right into a high volume workflow immediately. - Are you pretty in on that entire offense? Is Tyson still a target for you or is the Lava stuff keeping you a little light on Tyson? - I think I'm slightly overweight both. I really do like the Kellymor offenses. I think they do a lot of easy button type stuff. We've seen productive players in that offense. Not just last year, we're going back to his time with the Cowboys as well. So I'm in on the offense. And then I did think I'd say his Tyler Schuck is a little bit of the last call for the quarterback to range sometimes. And he goes much cheaper than what I would say that the rest of that tier goes for me. So he's often they, if I have a Lava or Tyson, he's kind of a get out of jail free card there at the QBT spot. - So we've started Bigeon Breeze Hall, Chris O'Lava here. Do you have a big bag of Breeze Hall if you're kind of taking him in the second? - I was very, very tempered intentionally so early on because I was a little bit worried with the three headed monster comments. I was a little worried about some of the coaching stuff I saw. I wanted to see where the offensive line shook out in some of the consensus rankings. But going forward, to me, he belongs at that two, three turn. As soon as the bowers goes off the board, if you need a running back, I think he is the one to have at that range. And he is very different than everybody you get after that with maybe the exception of Jeremiah Love. Some of the projection there, Cardinal's offense may be bad, but Javante, Josh Jacobs, Kyron, ETN, all those guys scare me a little bit. Whereas Breeze, I feel pretty solid with based on kind of the role he's shown so far. - Yeah, and then I feel like the dynamic with the Jets is just always, do you try to thread the needle and hit the one Jett, the Breeze Hall, the Garrett Wilson that can kind of do it almost regardless? Or do you say man, Cooper, Sadeek, Geno, like I want to play a rising tide with the Jets? - I've tried to, and these, I've generally stayed away from it and like the marathon and the drafter stuff, I've taken more of a stance of all the Jets, but though here, if Wilson is the guy, then he's the guy with this ADP fall. - Yeah, we got Wilson, burden, McCorn, Deandre Swift, Mike Evans, we're about to pick at 410. We have Bijan Breeze Hall in Chris Olave. Here, we'll see what Pilgrim does. Pilgrim goes, Garrett Wilson. So, who do you like of these options? - Probably, Burton. He, I mean, I would say Tert McClorin potentially setting up the Jay Daniel stack is pretty interesting too. I would probably go McClorin at this point. - Okay, all right, let's do it. We'll go McClorin, we'll see where Burton's price settles in this draft. We're on the Chris Olave, Bijan, was the week 17 a factor at all there for you or just a little serendipity. That.
and the week 15, I've been very intentional and tried to be at least in Besselmania last year and then this year with the structure changes to get a little more week 15, week 16 correlation in there. I think just getting to the finals offers in the case of uncorrelated outcomes a little bit. I want to try to be more intentional about stacking those weeks. So that is well with the week 15 there for McCorme. Yes. Coming back to us, we have Adams as the faller, you also, sorry, Evans, as the faller, Adams, Jamo, Bucky, DJ Moore, who do you like? Evans for me, Evans for me, I think with the news about Rikipyr Saul, potentially the target competition is non-existent down the sales and then the red zone and we could see Mike Evans lead NFL in touchdowns. I wasn't really strongly on him before that. I was a little bit of a pro-carousel side for me, but vacated targets going to be the number one red zone, a target for them obviously. So Evans I think is a kind of a priority at that four or five the rest of the way for me. I know I want to say historically reading your work, you've been an elite tied-in guy here. We weren't really in position to get bowers. I guess we could have gotten McBride over Alava and then Loveland goes before us. Is that still part of your draft plans or not something you're forcing quite as much this year? I'm overweight on all three in all formats and I started the year pretty skeptical about that. I really thought that the rise of the 12 personnel stuff would make the Oronday Gadsden Dalton Kincae type drafts. It would reduce the impact of the playoffs spike weeks a little bit for the elite tied-in, but the more I've thought about it the more I've actually been drafting. I think the prices on these guys is just cheaper than what it should be. Bowers might legitimately leave the NFL in targets. McBride, I will say he, you know, the touchdown scoring is almost certain to address. I think Ben Grech had a great stat that he has like the most routes to run of any tied-in in the last 20 years or something crazy. So he I understand why he's falling, but he's fallen to a range where he's very viable. And then to me, I think Colston Loveland is likely to be the Bears number one target. I think he's the one that you saw emerged down the stretch. There is a bit of projection there, but we're getting a little bit of a discount, you know, based on what he did down the stretch. So he, all three of those, I'm around that, they're like the 14 to 16 percent range. And I expect to do that. It'll be high priorities and redraft as well. Yeah, yeah, getting, you know, Loveland too, especially with just a bit of shakiness on the burden stuff feels like such a screaming target. He hasn't really pushed up that much in relation to that as well. Go AZ cards wants to learn a little bit about you. First time seeing you, what content you specialize in, DFS redraft, etc. Let people know what kind of stuff they can expect at your substack as well. Mostly bestball. That's what I do the majority of. I hate setting waivers. So I'm not doing a bunch of high-stakes redraft. Just to, I'll do some redraft content. I'll have a redraft homely guide coming out. I've played for a long time. Have a good feel for it, but bestball is my bread and butter. And I'll do more of that too when the playoffs turn contest run around as well. Pete, I think I lost you for a second. Oh, no, you're good. You're good. I know you're good. I'm going to drop your link to the substack in the chat in one second, but let's figure out what we're going to do here at this 6/7 turn. We have Bijan Breeze Hall up top, Alave McClaren Evans. Jane Daniels not coming back to us. He did go at pick 64 here, but always worth a stab looking at the board here. We have some of the naked quarterbacks potentially. Hertz still kicking around. If you want to go your Eagles route, Ramondra here, Marvin Harrison. What are you looking at here? How far do you think women falls? Hertz the way. I think you should be here. I think Hertz here. I want to be a little more intentional the rest of the way with lemon. It's not a huge, huge discount. But Hertz in this range, he's been a bit of a struggle for me to get this because usually I'm looking at Jaden, Drake May. I like the quarterbacks to go around them. But if it breaks right for Hertz, the Hertz lemon stuff could be, I think, a key down the stretch. Not something I've done a bunch of so far, but something I do want to be more open to, especially if we start seeing lemon come all the way back around the rest of the way. That's an interesting one, too, because I've drafted with Levitan on here. We did, I believe Monday, we did the Hertz lemon thing. We can get it here. You want to lock that up? He's at 79. No tide in. I almost want to push it and see, what do you think? He's not going to come back to us at 94, like no way. Okay, we can go ahead. I do think that the last week or two of Estelle Mania, he's going to fall with the hamstring stuff. Like the news on him has really been down. The ETR rank is low. I've seen him fall to that, like, that 84 range a few times. And so if he's still not practicing here in a week or he misses a pre-sucing game, I do think we're going to get some crazy women stuff. Not being said, you know, what is 70% filled, 60% filled? So like, you're not really paying anything extra right now. But my counter would be, and I guess I'm saying, I could definitely see him slide a few spots, but like we've kind of seen with the burden stuff. Even like the Alec Pier stuff, there's certain drafters that are just willing to almost completely ignore. As long as it doesn't mean you are missing time at the start of the season. Like if it's just your out, people are kind of like, I don't care. You know, leg up is very aggressive with their lemon ranking. I know they're helping to hold the line there ADP-wise. I think it would be shocking to me if you could ever get him to come back around to hurts in the eighth. Like maybe he slides to the other side of the board. But I just feel like drafters are so stubborn. And he falls into a range there too, where it's like the Metcalfs. Once you enter that Sutton range, like, I just can't see drafters taking some of those guys over lemon. But maybe I'll be wrong if the injury news is really bearish. Yeah, I mean, I don't think it's definitely the thing it's a given. I just think, yeah, like you said, it kind of depends on what the drumbeat and news is going for. But if it does continue, if he is going to like, we get the like McIle and not certain for week one, due to hamstring injury, limited roll in the first three or four games, maybe. Yeah, and look, my other thing here too is I literally only do BBM drafts on stream. So my stream rooms might not be indicative, Austin mentions. He got him in at 95. So I will take the L on that. I have just not seen anything close to that in my rooms. But I will believe you guys if that's actually happening. So yeah, no, I stand corrected. Starting to see lemon going in the 90s. Got him my bad, my bad, my my my my first yet experience was not the case. But I believe you guys. That's good to know. All right, we have Bijon Breeshal. Alavi McClure and Evans, we do go hurts in lemon here. Are there any other, you know, obviously the camp buzz stuff we're all kind of sifting through? We have some of these injury dynamics. Are there any kind of big stories that you are buying or selling? I am I'm trying to keep up with the camp news right now. What really happens for me is after the first preseason game is when I want to sit down and and really look at the roles and the usage and that type of stuff. I know just her day kind of article or honest on his newsletter. I started talking about the, you know, the noise that this period generates. And I always want to be a little reluctant to push guys way up or way off the ready for you right now. So nothing super right now that I'm buying a ton of. I want to be like pretty cautious until we see what that first preseason game looks like. Yep, and we are going to get, I mean, I feel like we've already been inundated with a firehose of information. We've had what one game is really going to be ripping here in the next week or so after we get this next batch of games. Let's see what we're looking at here. Jordan Addison, Cortland Sutton, Michael Wilson here at the running back position. We're to like the Dobbins, Menunguy Mason, Titan, kind of wiped here. Unless you want to reach for fan and or pits, what's catching your eye at 810? Definitely Addison, just for the correlation purposes and the UTR rank value. He's not somebody, I've really struggled with the whole kind of Murray Vikings offense this year. Jefferson is the one that I have kind of prioritized. I know like 14% and that is probably wrong, based on how the, I know he got named the starter, but like if it was any type of competition at all, with Jason McCarthy, that is probably that. So I've been a little skittish lately on that and I want to see kind of where the pricing goes. I think we might see a little dip for Addison, but here, a rank value, an ADP value, so in a week 17 correlation, it kind of have to make that big. Yeah, I've struggled with Addison a little bit as well, but here at Pick 94, I mean, now that we are getting, we're beyond the charade that McCarthy could win. Actually, let's talk this out here. So Mahomes, Dobbins, Pitman, Dart, Perty. Do you want to do Perty with Evans as a quarterback? Goldin is here. Either Perty or we wait for Shuck and go Fanon. I'm good with either one of those. All right, let's grab our tight end here. Let's go Fanon. We can kind of push quarterback a bit.
Kyler also would be in the mix for us potentially as well, but yeah, I guess the Kyler stuff, it was more like, do you have any concern as far as Kyler's fit with Addison? I mean, that's been a big talking point of Kyler's deepball accuracy. You know, we're Addison really feasted. And then the combination of, are we worried a more healthy hawk with the Jawan Jennings where previously Addison had this ability to kind of consolidate targets as the clear number two? If that target shared dips a little bit, if Kyler's a little inaccurate, do we kind of feel silly with this Addison price? I don't think there's many outcomes where we feel silly with it. Just because he's a explosive player, he's shown an ability to score touchdowns. So even if you're not getting like a consistent performer, you're probably going to get a few spike weeks with Addison. So he's somebody that, for me, there's a redress bestball divide where I don't want him to redress because I really don't think I'm ever going to know when to start him. But in bestball at this price, especially as a correlated week 17 piece, I really have no issues with him. I'm also playing it where I kind of think Jawan Jennings is just like a non-existent option for them. They're going to do some 12 personnel stuff. They have the offensive line to run the ball pretty well this year. So I kind of think he's not, he doesn't really have a lot outside and he's not really going to do the same things that Addison's going to do. So I don't, I think it'll be more of a two plus hawk situation than a crowded full room there. We are drafting a bestball Mania team here with Madison, Park Hill, Jalen Hertz, Bijon Breeze Hall, up top, Alave, McClure and Evans, McIleman, Addison, Titan, Harold Fanon. I feel like this is more like an old school bestball structure, right? You get those two running backs up top. Make sure you have those five wide receivers before the triple digits. Get it tight in here with some upside. We got herds here. I think we're in good shape. Yeah, looks good. I have done a bunch of 1, 2, 5, 1 is probably my most common start this year. Same thing like the, the bimodal or double anchor, whatever we're calling the, the two RBs are released situation now. I've done a ton of that. I haven't done as much of like the, the hybrid, hyper fragile stuff lately. I'm kind of shifted more to this so that the HERRB builds down the stretch. Chat keeps talking about egg buka stuff. I just pulled up the news, limps off with trainers at Wednesday's practice. We've gotten a lot of false alarms with these things. So we'll keep tabs on it. Not a good thing, but we will wait and see on the severity there. We are about to pick at 1010. We do have that 1, 2, 5, 1 build here. The running back position, we're to the gain well, Rashad White, Aaron Jones range, wide receiver, dobs, concepsion, Higgins. Tight end is the Kelsey Concade and then quarterbacks. It is that love may feel that shock here. If we want shock, I'm looking behind us here. If he would go, how do you want to play this? Can probably push it. And if they want to give us a huge ADP value on love, then fine, like we'll take him half around past. So either, I mean, probably Rashad White. I know we're, yeah, probably Rashad White if he's there. This guy is not just a couple times. Yeah, Rashad White here slips 8 picks past ADP. We do need a third running back. We also have Terry, so get a little team level bet there. Where are you just in general on commander's backfield? Are you a bill guy? I'm going to take all of them. I want like slight exposure to all of them. It reminds me, I think you were the one that wrote the article a couple years in the dolphins, where they wrote this cheap. It's just like, good team should score pretty good amount of points. The tonsill injuries, the little bearish. But yeah, for them and the Vikings, I just want, I want as many of them as I can get these prices. Yeah. All right. We will get the queue ready here at the quarterback position. We have a little bit of coverage with Baker early on in the draft season. I was marveling at people taking naked Tyler Shock. Fortunately, or hopefully for us, that is a thing of the pass. I'll throw him in the queue. He is here. We get that second quarterback. Yep. For sure. All right. We get Shock here. So we have Hurts. We have Shock. We have Bijon Breeshal, Rashad White, Alavi, Terry McClure, and Mike Evans, McKay Lemon, Jordan Addison, and Harold Fanon. Anything else on your drafting wish list down the stretch? Are there any exposures that you are trying to balance here or get ahead on? Yeah. I think for this team, it would be, I've done this every year whenever I go heavy on the Elite Titans. And then I forget about Jawan Johnson somehow who kills me down the stretch of the playoffs. So especially on a team like this, where he's already stacked. But just in general, I think, there is some, I think, I think Zane Denani was tweeting it about it the other day. He's a great faller right now, obviously. But he was talking about how Jawan Johnson, one of the beats labeled him as like a top five player at camp, which just means he's going to be in that same role that's been such a thorn in the side of the Elite Titans in both for the last two years. So again, try to ramp that exposure up on him. Yeah, we can't forget. As Sabah says, Jawan Johnson has been on more of the half more than half of the BBM winners. I feel like it's Jawan Johnson and George Kiddell are on like every one of the winning the Svalvedia team. So over the past six years. I've made, I've made best so many twice and Jawan Johnson has not been on my team twice and he's been on the winner twice. So he is particularly, particularly a thorn in my side. All right, let's do a quick recap of the team. We now get that second quarterback there. Hurtz and Shock, both stacked up, you know, Shock with a Lava early, Hurtz with lemon. We have those three running backs. Beijon, Breeze, Rashad White, also McLaren, Evans, Addison and Fanon. Is this a team? Do you like getting the third quarterback? Would you do, you know, the Geno with Breeze or I guess we don't have any other, you know, obvious stacks, but is that something you try to get to? I haven't forced it on BBM and state team around underdog stuff. It would be on DK or drafters where I've won the third quarterback. But if, you know, if you get a fall or if you get Geno, you know, a round or two past ADP or if you had like two in the last round, potentially, I think he's going to be the starter at this point. I am moderately interested, but you don't have to force it. Just kind of let it come to you either way. Yeah. Speaking of forcing it, our, you know, I was talking with Alex Cups at the start of the show. We have all of these buzzy, rookie wide receivers. Are you chasing these guys up the board? Are they strictly stacking plays for you? Is there the next Puka lurking at the end of the draft board? I certainly hope not. I have, I have been avoiding almost all these guys. I am not buying the talent of most of these guys for Bestball this year. I thought they were decent dynasty picks, but we, you know, the production on these, especially the third round rookies, it's just not there most of the time. So I've been moderately interesting and shriveling. I am probably done at this point. It didn't sell lost in stuff. I've been ahead of. I thought he was likely to start to begin with. So I'm probably tapping out pretty soon. And then the others are more just kind of stacking targets for me the rest of the way. Yep. We might actually be in potential Denzel Boston ranges. We head to 12 10. We also have gotter falling. That double stack would be very obvious. We have a good chance to, the two guys in front of us each have two tight ends. And then there's the one guy. I don't know. I'm sorry. I'm on the other side. Yeah. Yeah. The one. We'll see. Boston goes, but maybe we could get gotter to fall to us here. We also have a bunch of quarterbacks, which aren't quite as interesting to us. This is really starting to be kind of pull up territory. Are you a hunter or Omar Cooper guy? I, I have been a Cooper guy so far. I'm a little skitish on some of the, the quotes, but this guy has takes not just every time. Yeah. Phil Grumman. Yeah. He had to do it. I would just go to Jawan here. Yeah. Yeah. I don't see any issue with getting Jawan that double stack with shock makes sense. And then we can kind of figure out what we want to do at 13.3. Yeah. The gotter fall man. That would have been a very clean way to play it. Do you like to earmark wicks on on hurts teams? Oh, yeah. I would, you know, if it was a slow Jeff, I would start from him and take him. I'm not, it's not a, not a must, I don't think, but since we don't have the vauntay, we don't have gotter. It would rise a little bit for me. Yeah. I will say here, you know, Willis just went Willis would have been an intriguing third quarterback type selection. But I'll ask. Yeah. I guess the other question is how worried do you get about getting boxed out at running back? Like you could pull up like if you like the bigs beyond an Eagles team or we grab, you know, Omar Cooper along with Breeze Hall here. Probably a big three for me. He is somebody that I have, I was interested as just the contingency upside and then all the other stuff, I, you know, I think like most people when he was priced down around or two cheaper, which is like, yeah, he's purely the RB2 handcuffs. But maybe that's not the case based on the the camp pipe that's been out there. Maybe he is going to have a little bit of a stand roll standalone change of pace type role for Sequan, who's 229, I believe. So he's still priced like a contingent back. He's just like the leading contingent back. So yeah, I'm interested in him and obviously, especially on the correlation side with the Eagles here. Yeah. I like getting bigs be there just with the runs that are happening at running back and just getting that fourth guy there. So we got Hurts and Shuck. B. Jean Breeze Hall, Rashad White, Tank Bigsbee, a lot of
McClaren Evans, Lemon Addison, Fanon, Johan Johnson. Speaking of backup running backs tied to your quarterback, do you do the Alvin Camaro with Schuck teams? I am not doing the Alvin Camaro thing. I just can't do it. I don't think he has any past catching upside anymore. He can't block. He's been a horrible past protector for years. So I think the role is just like change of pace, non-explosive Alvin Camaro rushes for him, which is just something I'm really not interested in unless I have, you know, if I maybe if I had like a Henderson Harvey earlier and I just needed a couple early season usable weeks, but generally no unless I get a huge fall on a past past past MVP. What would you say, you know, from now being in the trenches with the E.T.R. guys and getting more steeped in kind of how the projection sausage is made? What has been, have you made any shifts to how you approach things? Maybe more macro than, you know, specific player situations? I think the thing that they do really well is able to they capture the ceiling projection on a player in addition to the median, whereas you see these ADPs and the vast majority of them up until recently were only median projections. And now I've kind of, you know, the last year to we've swung with the rookies and some of the second year players where we're just pricing in the ceiling immediately. I think we see that with Luther Burton a little bit this year, even Carlson Lovelin, who I like, you know, it is a bit of a projection. And so I think they do a really good job of saying, yes, we understand the ceiling case, but what are the odds of that actually hitting? And that's the thing that, you know, when you quantify that second part there, that gives you a little more insight. And so that's from probably the biggest value to me is just thinking through, thinking through that second piece of the probability of actually hitting the ceiling a little more. Yeah, no, and I feel like that's probably been one of the biggest learning moments over the years drafting Bess Belmania, where, you know, very early Bess Belmania one and two and you're like, I just, I got to swing for the fences with every single pick. I need the highest upside selection. And we've learned so much over the years of specifically to have just how every single player in the pool has a cost where they can become relevant in a way that's just not true with redraft. And that's definitely been something. I think the entire market has had to adjust on here. All right, we have 2 4 5 2 about to pick at 14 10. We do have some tight ends on the board. If you want to do a three tight end build, we have some of the busy running backs here in Jaden blue and Marshawn Lloyd wide receiver. You could do the 80 Mitchell thing. What do you like? Do you think do you think Hawkinson comes back here? He's been falling. Yeah. Who do we go? I mean, I don't I think I'm going to have to chase chase Marshawn Lloyd up a little bit. Okay, well, he just goes. Oh, he goes. Yeah, I would probably, I would probably just go Hawkinson here. Okay. You know, obviously we have Addison already. And then we have the correlation too. So he rounds out the room nicely. Yeah, look at our week 17 correlation here. So we have the hurt stack with the big mic bring back. We have the shuckstack with the beijon bring back. We have the jet stuff opposite Minnesota. So all kinds of week 17 correlation here at 15 3. This is probably last call for Don Tabien wicks. And then 80 Mitchell also doubles down on the jet spet. Yeah, I would probably, I'm fine either one. I would probably go wicks just because we don't have Devonta. So we had Devonta. I would probably flip it. Yeah, right right now, you know, we're betting on hurts having a big game in week 17. And we don't have we only always have his macaillum. And so probably go wicks. Yeah, I like that call there. Yeah, he's a guy I just took with with Chad. I like him a lot. I've been saying the phrase that I just feel like there's multiple outs that he can hit. And like you said, on a team like this where we don't have Goddard Devonta Smith, we're almost playing for whether that's early season production for him or just contingent upside where one of those guys is out where he could just have a really big role in those scenarios. Yeah, or both. Maybe when it gets off to the slow start, we see a couple wicks explosion wicks, then he doesn't do much. But Devonta gets hurt in week 14 or 15. And we see him kind of rise back up with lemon. So yeah, I agree. He's been he's I mean, he's kind of a fun throwback to from a couple years ago. What do we take him like one 10 or something like that? Yeah, just based just based on the first year of the ESPN open score stuff. It's just like, oh, he gets open. So yeah, he's fun. Down here is a stack play for sure. All right, let's recap the squad with three more picks to go. Pretty balanced here. Two, four, six, three, hurts and shock. B. Jean-Bress Hall, Rashad White, and Tank Bigsby, Alave McClaren, Evans, Lemon, Addison, Wicks, Fanon, Johnson, Hawkinson. How do you play the running back position in this spot? Do you like getting the fifth there just because it feels cozy? Are you willing to be like, hey, the pool's dried up, I'm just going to go to battle with these four. Depends on kind of depends on who's there for me. There are some some late guys I like more than what I would have said a couple weeks ago. Commanding by doll is somebody that if he is actually going to have some type of standalone role or has a couple multiple outs on a offense that I really like, he's somebody I think I've tacked on a little bit. I who else is around there in that range or that's the look. Yeah, it's funny too because like the guy who's falling, Brian Robinson, I mean, we have a B. Jean team so that's probably not on our radar. It's really like, do you have faith in any of these rookies, the Singleton, Emmett Johnson, Mike Washington, K-Tron Allen grouping? I will say I like Mike Washington just because I think all the reporting that I've seen, I haven't like gone super far over my skis with them because I kept waiting for them to shoot a drop. But I mean, he's a rookie running back behind Gen T. He's going to see a huge workload and they don't really have anybody else there as far as I know. So he's interesting to me. And then I'll say I have a big bag of Ray Davis. Just I the Thai Johnson, the Thai Johnson injury only added to that. I think he should be a couple rounds more expensive than what he is. Sean Siegel wrote earlier this, I think it was like June. He's Ray Davis is like one of the few guys that has shown like an explosive rush ability. And that has really been a predictor of next year fantasy point success if I'm recalling that correctly. And so I think that's somebody that maybe has a little more upside than what we've seen over the last couple years, which James Cook just saying healthy for the most part. Yeah, Ray Davis. I mean, there's certain players in the pool that feel boring. They don't like spark conversation. I feel like I very rarely have conversations about Ray Davis. And I wonder if it is a lot of just kind of lingering. Hey, Thai Johnson is, is that what muddies the waters of this being a clear handcuff? Because otherwise, it'd be like bills back up running back RB2. Like that's a guy we would want to take where we just took Tang Bigsby, right? And so if that thesis is true, you can certainly make the case that Ray Davis is underpriced by a few rounds. All right, we are about to pick here at 1610. Mike Washington is here. We have Zachary at Branch Calvin Ridley, Caitlin Black in the solver suggestions. Where would you like to look? Branch is pretty fun. And then I think we could get one of these running backs for the fifth on the way back. I like running back. I like Tucker. And then I will say I don't, I don't hate double tapping. Commanders running back if you have white because the way I'm playing it is JCM is a rusher. Good rusher. KTron is potentially a good rusher. There might be some rollover left there. And if one of them just wins the job, but Rashad is the third down back, then potentially you're kind of alternating spike weeks, you know, regular season or in the playoffs. Yeah, no, I'm with you on that. And again, like the cost to with those guys, I think any of those backfields where everybody's going after pick 100, you know, double taps makes sense, especially if you're getting a value there. Malik Washington goes, Sean Tucker goes, this is pick 17, three for us. We have a 2473. Would you want to grab KTron Allen here? Would you want to prioritize someone else? KTron, I think for me, finished up the RV room. Let's do it here. 2573 now with KTron Allen. And then that last pick here, is it probably just a wide receiver dart for you? Yeah, certainly. Certainly a wide receiver dart. Beautiful. Yeah, well, you know, I mentioned in the previous draft, I had not been drafting a ton of branch. He falls here. Obviously, we have we have Bijon. What are your thoughts on him and his potential role with the Falcons? So if two of starts, I think he's pretty interesting because he kind of has a gadgety type profile. And so if two of starts and just gets the ball out quick, they have some designer screens for him. I think you could see some. This may not be a super fun comp, but you'll get random spike weeks, like Marvin Mims on the Broncos. And then I do think he's not drawing dead to have a little bit of a larger role where if he's a little bit better than we thought, or if he develops his route running a little bit, he could step into more of the true wide receiver two type of role for the Falcons. I'm not really buying the Kyle Pits is now playing all the snaps and drawing targets even in 12 personnel sets. So I think branch has a little more upside than what we might expect based on ADP alone. Yep. All right, let's see what we got cook in here at the end. We will have to sift through some of these. We got the chat talking about Bayley. That's a guy I have not clicked much, but certainly would make sense.
on a on a shark team here, we have Ted Hearst potentially with the lingering, you know, egg buka stuff. We also had talked a little bit about the cold stuff. Remind me how you're handling Keenan Allen. I am drafting the absolute crap out of Keenan Allen on any teams that don't have Josh Downs or Lad McConkey. So this would be a Keenan Allen team for me. Hang on, mention the last thing, just thinking that the chargers are still a potential offer him. I mean, I saw the report. I think it was last week where they, you know, they're comfortable with the room. So I think from this, you know, from now on, you can feel a little more comfortable about taking with the chargers. But throughout the summer, I was just, if I had Downs or McConkey, I just wasn't taking Keenan. If I didn't have those guys, then I thought he was a really good pick. Yeah. Jay, I refuse to be shamed for not having a bag of valet. I mean, saying you have 10% valet is just what we call a cell phone, Jake, relax. There are better clicks. You do not need 10% valet in Round 18, brother. Okay. We did lose, of course, the shady Keenan and Ted Hearst there. What about, are you in agreement with Big ETR and Jeremy Bernard? A guy I feel like I end up with on every draft. I am not really just because I think there's two ways you lose that bet. Either they play a bunch of 12 personnel or he is not the clear slot receiver. So I've been a little skidish on him. For me, here could do the two thing or is Rogers there too? Yeah, Rogers is still here. Yeah, that's weird. I mean, it's unstacked. So it's kind of gross. But if he shouldn't be here, he shouldn't be here. So I think I would just do that. Yeah, he is here. What happened to Aaron Rogers today? Yeah. Aaron Rogers at pick 214. I say we do it. Yeah. All right. There you go. I will go refresh Twitter and make sure that Aaron Rogers didn't just retire or something. Let me recap this team for you here. We have a 3573. Jalen Hertz Tyler Schuck, Aaron Rogers. Bigeon Breeze Hall, Rashad White, Tank Bixby, and Ketron Allen. We have seven wide receivers here, Alave McClaurin, Evans, McKay Lemon, Jordan Addison, Don Tavian Wicks, and Zachariah Branch, three tight ends, Harold Fanon, Jawan Johnson, TJ Hawkinson. How did we do, Madison? Like the room, balance builds for us. A lot of week 17 correlation, more than I would even intentionally do, normally. But if you're lending a company and you're not reaching forward a lot of times, that's often a good time. So excited to see how the team does. I know. I feel like I haven't had as many just jam-packed week 17 correlated teams so far this summer. And this one certainly fits the bill there with all of those main stacks opposite their week 17 opponents. Great stuff, Madison. I dropped in the chat, the Reducing Uncertainty Substack A.K.A.M. Parkhill.substack.com. I will drop that in the chat. Again, make sure you guys are following him. Over there, Madison always enjoy reading your work, was stoked to hear you were working with ETR this year. So thanks for hopping on and drafting with me. Absolutely. Thanks for having me, Pete. All right, beautiful. There goes Madison. We are going to bring on our heavy hitter batting cleanup today. You know he's taking this appearance seriously because he put on a hat for it. Not the disheveled mad scientist vibe we've been getting from you. How are you doing, Liam? Doing excellent, Peter. How are you today? I'm doing good, man. I'm doing good. Excited to draft with you here today. Do you mind if before we get going? I do one more coffee giveaway here for with the people. Do what you need. I just have a heart out at one. Okay. Well, this is what we'll do. I will enter the draft right now. So I will make sure this thing hums along. We are going to do a best ballmania draft with Liam. Of course. Let's go. Two more people. So then maybe we're not going to have quite as many friends and family. That could be good. That could be bad. Time will tell. But in honor of Liam, let's get a new hashtag going. This is for another free bag of Vasilaros in Sun's coffee. Let's do hashtag chess coach. There chess coach. Get your entries in and we'll let these trickle in for the next couple of minutes. Liam and I are going to be drafting from the 106. How do you feel about that spot? I'm hoping we can get a fall in Puka. JSN. That's a I feel like the six spot in drafts is really a choosier adventure. It can be like really anyone from CMC to genty is defensible after the big five in my opinion. Yeah. Yes, it is. Have you seen I've not done enough drafts to notice today is Puka falling a bit on this potential suspension news? I've not seen it, but I'm just expecting that it will happen a little bit. I mean, if he's going to be suspended for week one, that's not even a big deal, especially if he needs another week to heal up. Yeah. But I think I think what maybe we'll get it here or there. Okay. Let's see. What are you giving out? You giving out whole bags of coffee here? Yeah. I mean, I don't know if you've heard, but we have a coffee sponsor on the channel. Vasilaros in Sun's coffee. How did that come to be? Are you like emailing Starbucks? No. By my guy Bob who watches the channel, I don't understand the exact specifics of it. He used to be a part owner. I believe he sold his part of the company, but it's still working with Vasilaros and Suns. He reached out, said, hey, can we broker some kind of partnership here? So yeah, you can get 25% off your first order. You can get free shipping all with promo code P. And part of it, they're just giving me free bags of coffee to give away on these best ball breakfast streams. So I said, hell yeah, brother, let's do it. That's awesome. I'll look, we got Shady here in the 12 full. We got Shady. JSN goes. So like you said, it is the choose your own adventure. I want a Liam adventure. Who is the pit? Well, my rankings have it a monrol, but I go a monrol, tailor, lamb, cook, one of those fours, usually who I go. I have a pretty decent fade on CMC, just obviously he's a great player, but I'm still below weight on Omnera not because I don't like him, but just like RNG stuff early. So let's grab Omnera here at pick six. Let's do it. Sun God. Sun God. Come on down. How many BBMs are you at right now? I am, I think I like 95 or so. So okay. I'm of a jam packed end of August here where I'm going to have to probably start doing one in the morning, one at night, whatever. But yeah, you know, it's an interesting time in drafts where it's like we're getting news. Who knows if it's good news, but players are moving around. I know I made some adjustment, aggressive adjustments in my ranks. How are you feeling about these guys getting buzz? Pat Bryant, Lane, Cyrus Allen, Marshall Lloyd. It's always like a fun exercising confirmation, Bryce, right? Where I like Lloyd, like Bryant, have been drafting them all summer. So it's like, all right, keep clicking brother. And then there's some that you're not like I took a lot of Sarat early on. And then it's like, okay, do I, in my skeptical, the Jacobi Lane because of my Sarat bags. But yeah, I'm mixing these guys in, especially because it is like you have these heavy bags on certain players. And just the fact that there is a little bit of new information to kind of make maybe smarter selections. I'm open to these buzzy guys. And I feel like the price isn't insane on any of them quite yet. I mean, I put Lloyd just straight up ahead of like Alvin Camera at like one, yeah, 45-ish because like what's the difference between him and Blake Cora on this kind of how I view it where plus, I mean, Josh Jacobs might be suspended and he's got a groin injury. So if he can stay healthy, like he could be a smash. For sure. I saw him go at pick, like I saw him go with Gibbs today in a draft. Wow. Okay. So he is falling. We'll see what P. Love does here at two six. He does take Hampton. So now we, uh, it's, it's your flavor here. Brown Bowers, London, Nico, Pickens, neighbors. My ranks have a Bowers. I'm happy to do really anyone here though. I think this is a good spot to just take literally anyone but Bowers always very fun. Yeah, I was just checking my Omen rhyme even on all of these guys having with a little London, a little Brown, little Bowers. Let's do Bowers here. I will shout out Lee and I loved your, uh, your article, um, your favorite three players in each round. I found myself nodding along with basically about, uh, I would say like 85 or 90% of your picks. I was just like, uh, yeah, brother. I, I rubber stamped that. So I, I enjoyed that article there. Check that out. Who are some guys you just read on? Not, not like, like, it's not everyone. I'm like, have a ton of, but it's really just, it's really just bills and, and Kenny Gainwell were the ones I read, uh, that stood out that I'm not quite as much on Kenny Gainwell for your touchdown run today. A practice brother. Okay. I'm back in he honestly like, look, this type of player I have missed on in the past where what I mean by this type of player, like scored a lot of fantasy, fantasy points last year was surprisingly good. Like I just can't, maybe I'm just the morning person, but I cannot get that Viking Steelers game out of my memory where Kenny Gainwell looked like Barry Sanders, Rejuvenated, Rejuvenated, and scored like five touchdowns was smashing a good run defense. And I just don't really see why you go out and sign them if you don't plan to keep them involved. Not to say I'm not drafting Bucky either. Like I like both of them.
But he just seems like a great more of a best ball pick, but like yeah, I'm confident. I'm gonna get some weeks from him Do you think Sean Tucker goes to zero this year? I don't I think he's a reason like I Like him more in a total points format where he I mean he might be the goal-line guy But like what is that? That's like six points here there. He's probably an ankle twist away from being the grinder But no, I'm not like letting him impact My gain well exposure and let I mean on drafters. He goes in the 80s It's it's bizarre just like the disconnect on his price there. Yeah Let's table the Bucks talk on the clock here flowers igbuca a Lave Kyron. I mean we got to do a buka, right? He got he just got hurt so I would you're right? You're right. He's I would my ranks have it a Lave or T Yeah, you pick who do you like more? I think it's fine to do a Lave. I mean I in my heart are hearts. I kind of like T a little bit more where I mean you that you've been doing the song time you know this where it's just like we just kind of have to put these wide receivers in spots and Whatever reason T is at the 3/4 turn instead of the 2/3 turn this year. Yeah We're yeah, well we can table the igbuca stuff because it's just like we don't know statement got hurt today - so you might you might want the syrup bags as well, you know, that's true What yeah, what's your thoughts on a lot of it? I just drafted him pretty high in the third round with Madison, you know my only concern is just been Tyson could be really fucking good, but do you think they can both pay off their ADP even in that scenario where Tyson's legit? Yeah, I think I think the Saints are like, you know really improved a line Chuck was way better than I thought he could be especially for fantasy and They're like a prototypical like fun bad team where probably bad defense, good offense I mean, what more do we want a Lave to do last year? Like he just was an absolute smash. I'm not, you know Tyson could be awesome too. I'm not not drafting Tyson, but you know like we still draft chasing Higgins pickins and lamb so if Tyson is Great, maybe it's a rising tide lifts all ships type thing Yeah, are you uh are you in on just that entire offense or you draft in a decent amount of shock with your Lave? I have shocked like just ahead of Baker I'm not taking him naked and I would I would have had a full fade on ETN and the third and so maybe it's a little silly that I'm drafting him so much at like the four five turn, but I don't really see a big reason for him to be falling To the four five turn just because they're like not being rude to Camaro, you know, so I'm drafting some ETN now as well No, I was in the same boat. I had very little in the third and I mean, is this a spot you would take him at 43 here with a Lave? Or is there anything else that catches your I mean, we're gonna do Josh Allen if he's here. I mean Yeah, I think it's kind of silly when Josh falls here. I have Loveland ranked higher than all these guys Do you do them with Bowers a decent bit? I do sometimes and it's like I understand it's not good structurally, but Bowers and McBride or Loveland and McBride Loveland Bowers. I do it sometimes. I do have Josh Allen ranked higher than That's right. It's tough time. He's a lord. I mean when you draft with Chess Liam If you're not taking Josh Allen at pick four seven, what are you even doing? I mean and The I just listen to shiptacing this morning actually I thought you don't listen to us anymore. You said that Come August. I like to listen to some news and I like to do it again But I think Karin was being disingenuous when he said Liam's doing these 2v2s of Allen and Ramondre That's like in this he keeps on referencing this big dog we do together I was doing the 2v2 of like Josh Allen and Parker Washington versus AJ Brown and Drake May like the point is like it's the cost of the stack DJ Moore is free ununderdog Where I mean it's just not logical that on a half point ppr platform more would be going at The five six and on draft Kings he goes in the middle of the fourth so like We should probably have some humility between the two platforms I get not liking DJ Moore and redraft like maybe we don't know which weeks he's going to nuke But he's going to nuke some weeks like I'm very confident of that In bestball This is actually an interesting thing structurally here because we know running back yet Pick 54 that's DJ Moore territory or Parker Washington territory How far are you willing to push zero RV builds this year? I do it quite a bit because I actually like these like gain wells JCM Brooks Harvey like I like Sometimes I'll just do rooms of five of those guys And I mean most of the room is doing three running backs. So like we're just getting different I think there's a ton of ambiguous backfields that could be fun. Sometimes you get two in as your RV one Um, sometimes you get priced to fall who I like a lot Bucky how do you want to how do you want to play this? I would do DJ Moore. I think you just do DJ Moore when you take Josh Uh, let's do it Yeah, I mean the the only I guess yet. It's not a lot of the DJ Moore is stacked with Josh Allen over on This side is well, but the thought is you're still hopefully being able to compound the Josh Allen fall uniqueness Maybe with who you get at 67 or maybe with a lava being on the Allen DJ Moore team you won't have those three together as much And sometimes when you do this you'll get the falling price Bucky and Henderson like Pete like I did a draft this morning in Henderson just went straight up after Ramandrey I got Henderson at 72 Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised to see that flippening in the next couple of weeks if this this continues to Yeah, I get that, but I don't get that like are you doing any builds like this like I mean this is the classic like 0 RB What do we want to be we want to beat teams at QB anti-den as well? So like this is the way to do it Yeah, no, I've been doing some 0 RB builds here I probably would have entertained Bucky at this selection as well But yeah, no, I have the stomach for these builds especially now like you said there's a ton of options. We have some guys getting pushed up You know, in the you know 150s, you know your bigs b's your Lloyds etc that I think can make a 0 RB room viable Chat I did not forget about the coffee giveaway. We can do that right now 61 of you have entered with the hashtag chest coach the winner Look at good luck a free promo code here to get a bag of coffee who's it going to be BS funk BS funk Congratulations. Shoot me a message on Twitter or discord and I will get you that promo code Do you go down to the mailbox and ship these out or they do that for no? No, no They ship it from their their New York warehouse. I've only deal with promo codes brother Was that would be annoying? Oh, yeah, that's way better Well, I did them with the randomizer boxes way back in the day where I put together these These merch boxes and I did all the mailing myself and it was it was a bear man um You mentioned price falling. Uh, are you slurping up this dipperino here if he falls to six seven I think it's the dream when you get him Yes, especially on this build if he does go uh Marvin Harrison jalen war in I would take I would take war and I'm not like I like war in more than doubt. Well, I take both um, yeah But I prefer to get price because you can get Sweet bank See that feels really good because this guy's actually he's not auto and he's thinking and he went RBRB So he's like oh, I need wide receivers and we get to get a first round rookie as our first running back like It the disconnect on the Jeremiah love and jadarian price price prices in a running back heavy market is puzzling to me For sure. Yeah, I mean, I think this is a great spot specific. I mean, I'm with you on both those takes I think Jeremiah love at pick 27 jadarian price x 67. I think those are both, you know, windmill slam dunk picks and like if anything I've just been surprised like Carson Beck just looked really good in the Hall of Fame game I think the reason these guys were falling were because it's like who's going to be the quarterback late season is the offense just gonna go to absolute trash Just knowing that they could have competent QB play to me those guys should be pushing back up into the late second Yeah, I saw someone tweet out like Carson Beck looks good That's bad for the cardinals offense and like I get what he meant because like You won't get the percent Scam but that's it for if Carson Beck is good. That's just good for the Cardinals Yes For sure All right, if you guys all want the Parker Washington watch he went at pick 58 We do have some running backs coming off the board here Which makes this pick a little tricky where the Brooks Dowdell Chuba range here There's QJ Metcalf read crowd take Brooks Just grab him. Yeah, yeah, I think there's a couple guys where Like you know, we're at an interesting time of the year where a preseason games haven't started yet I don't even know if Brooks is gonna get in the preseason, but both these guys that we have I mean just think of what Henderson did last year like one good touch where people actually see it themselves And where's Brooks going in drafts, you know It's like like what's the difference between him and Judkins is I think what what people will think Yeah, I mean the difference is just like Chuba's not gonna Go away. I think is is the fear that he would always have a much bigger role than a guy like Dylan Samson is gonna have We got the week 17 correlation as well price in Brooks There you go. Wait, how do you feel about running back?
week 17 correlation. It's not my favorite, but then you see the Panthers team account tweeting out like Brooks with like a 30 yard touchdown field. Like one hand snagging it. I'm like, okay, you know, yeah. I mean, is this kind of how you would play the the zero RB builds where it's just like, okay, now I want to make sure I go get the players who can actually make this work and you're just a little less like I'm not going to be quite as price conscious. Yeah, I'm not price conscious of the lot of parts in drafts. Like I think it's sometimes I will take a Metcalf and Jayden read there or even a second quarterback. Um, but oftentimes I'm just like, okay, next running back up because we know that typically by the time you get to like the Tyrone Tracy, Woody Marks line, it's like, ooh, these are markedly different bets. And now we got a couple more guys up there. Maybe Lloyd, maybe Jayden Blue. Um, but when you and like the 18th round is like absolutely devoid right now of running back clicks where it's like, it's like, come on, if it all, maybe Tosh broke someone to throw in there as just like, yeah, maybe he's chased Browns back up. Um, yeah. Let's see, are you a Blake Korum guy here? Um, we have Addison, Michael Wilson. I don't think there's anything quarterback. I take a lot of gain while here, but I'm happy to do Blake Korum to. He's a tough player to get my mind fully around on. I also would take, we might be able to get either gain while our JCM at 102. And if he goes in the 10th, so I would take either Korum, JCM or Korum. Korum, JCM or Korum, then let's do Korum. Yeah, I mean, I opened the year really into the Korum idea because I was like, well, he's in a 50/50 split with Kyron. And then I was like, and, and now, because the Rams are going to probably just be so good and their defense is good, maybe they are getting a bunch of rushing touchdowns, but it kind of feels like he's going to need an ankle twist from Kyron to truly pay off what he does, like he's a smash. And that's not true for JCM and gain well, in my opinion, like same thing with like Menungai, like I'm just a little behind on Korum and Menungai because of that. Yeah, yeah, I like the, I like the Korum stuff. I think he can, I think he can give you a few usable weeks just because they will use him at the goal line. I think the CB one of the best offenses in football. So he's going to have a few of those 12 13 point games that hit your RB2 or your flex spot. And then like you said, the contingent upside is just elite. Like he would project is what a top eight back every week. If, if Kyron was out, I think that's a fair, fair price in this, in this range. And we know we're getting a piece of an elite offense, just having a piece of the Rams feels good. I mean, this feels good. Like I'm on our Lava DJ Moore price Brooks Korum versus, like, let's look at a three running back start. Cook, HN, Skatovo, T Higgins, Washington, Thomas, Godwin. It's really going to come down to like, what can people get in the Thomas, the Godwin range at White L versus what are the running back bets we're getting? And like, how much do our wide receivers gap there's? Yeah, I mean, this is a fun build to where it's like, you're not being like two ideologically stringent, right? Like this, you're pushing it up. You're getting the three wide receivers. You have the two onesies like this is kind of a trickier build. I think to pull off, but I think if you just commit to it and not, you don't get afraid that you're behind positionally, you can make it work. How I've been doing it a lot, where it's like, I'll get three to four guys and just lean on them, then get like five running backs and then end with Whiteouts because Whiteouts more appealing later in drafts than running back is in my opinion. What do you think about this Chuba price? I mean, we took Brooks at 78 Chuba falls all the way to 99 here. I'm going to have some there just because I was going to have zero at his old price, but it's kind of like, sometimes these guys fall and you take it because we're price conscious, I would do gain well. I promise you that we can get gain well here. We're going to get you gain well here. We can get gain well around later often. Like I've been getting that and I just disagree with that. I know, but don't you want to get the best price on the guys you like a lot? I don't really think it matters that much in this 8, 9, 10 range. It's like people are taking quarterbacks or tight ends, and like what's the opportunity cost at Wide Receiver? It's like worthy, one-dale, golden, those type of guys, and I'm like, I'm kind of lukewarm on those Wide Receivers. Yeah. No, and the one part I will say is like you mentioned liking bill and gain well, and it's like you don't have two ninth round picks. So if you want both of them, you're going to have to grab one guy early. So I always, Sean Siegel always talks about that a lot too of like sometimes you have two targets in the same round and you're going to have to draft one before to get both of them. We now have the 1431 build. We have caught up at running back quickly with price, Brooks, Corham, gain well. We have the Josh Allen DJ Morstack. We got Brock Bowers, and then our two other Wide Receivers. Alave in Amoross St. Brown. Do you entertain a golf click at 115 if he's here? I would for sure hick off here just to get that stack. Yeah. The lapporta drafters in front of us with Lamar. So maybe it doesn't happen. I'd be willing to do Chuck who also falls. We also got, like, Corham, gain well is easier correlation to see where it's like like Corham scores three rushing touchdowns. Then the bucks got to catch up. So we got sneaky week 17 correlation that I actually like, like gain well with the Rams pieces. Yeah. Yeah. Golden falling here. Goff does go so we could either pull up our grab our quarterback now or try to push QB2. What do you think? I kind of think you just hit shock here unless you if you really like one of these players like stomped the table for them. I would also take in Kate here. He goes around later. I think we get shock and then we're going to have both of the bills guys available with the next pick I would assume. Cool. I'm doing way less secure than Kate this year. Yeah. I'm getting a little bit but that's just kind of how I'm playing it. Push golf brother. We didn't even get a chance of push golf. There was no chance golf's coming. I guess like 126 even the Gibbs drafter with one quarterback is probably taking golf at 120. I don't think you can really push that. Yeah. There's a lot of competition for him. Shock is shock we would probably get in the next round and so the question is like who's more likely to fall if you do want to go concade with Bowers. Tyson drafter in the two hole but does have Daniel's dart. Yeah. I could see that go in either way. Liam you want to let Joe know in the chat. When do best ball mania winners draft their teams which which month? I mean we've seen it from every month I think I won in June someone else won for read one in like late August almost September. Yeah. Um Karein one in July. Sherman I think was June as well. I want to say I'm not I'm not a hundred percent sure about Sam. It was June because we had that anniversary early in the drafting season on that. Yeah. And I don't know. Yeah. El guru doesn't actually exist. That was just a figment of our imagination. So I don't remember when his team was drafted. Chat you guys are killing me. You think golden was the play. Golden was off the board at 114. I would I would have probably pounded the table there for golden at that pick but he goes and so then I was completely on board. Kincaid does go as well so 122 there. So we're picking at 126 we have a 2431 wide receivers you're looking at like dobs cocker Samuel the final running backs here like Rodriguez keeping Mitchell Tyrone Tracy who actually like Romeo dobs quite a bit. I don't really understand why he's so cheap. Yeah. I like him as well. We'll see if he continues to fall here. He does and he goes. Debo Shakir Shakid. I would do that or I would do like Kelsey if you want to just be done it tight out he goes. I would not do what you're getting sniped. Yeah. Let's do Shakir. I mean if we're gonna do the bills let's do it. Why are you a little less in on Shakir this year? I mean the price feels nice. I just don't think he's the best fit for half point PPR. And I question his single week upside like you know he's gonna have some weeks he's he's not gonna get as many targets as he did last year almost certainly with DJ Morrentown assuming health. I think he was kind of banged up last year but then he also had like that tightrope ankle this year he's back practicing so perhaps he's fine there but I don't know like I like cocker more than him. I like Shaheed I like Higgins more than him. These guys all most of these guys went I probably see the case for like Debo over him especially with even even even on Allen teams. I don't think like I don't want all of my Allen teams to be mega stacked you know like I want some where I just do Josh Allen DJ or Josh Allen Concade like I don't want everyone to be five bills even even though the price is reasonable. It's definitely harder to be like who do I choose out of these guys but I just choose someone sometimes. All right 2441 we get our second quarterback with Shock There we get a
Another stacking partner for Alan was Shakir looking good here on the board 80 p. Wise Keith Mitchell Dallas got our Tyrone Tracy Woody marks, Darnell Chig, Denzel Boston. What do you want to do here at 12 7 Liam? I'm going to save that for a second and learn from the Romeo doves. Okay. Keith Mitchell goes 2441 we'll see what P love does here once you get to about seven seconds. The delay is going to be in our favor. I like Goddard a lot. I don't really understand why he goes after a lot of the tight ends. Yeah. He's going live to be the second target of the team. For sure. Yeah. We grab him here past ADP huge rankings, value as well, pair him with Brock. I assume it's just because he's boring and then for him to get back to the Hurt strafter, he falls a lot, you know, to like the 144, I guess that would be the only thought there. I think it's because he scored 11 touchdowns last year and so people understand that that's going to regress, but he can regress to like six touchdowns and still be a great pick. Plus, AJ Brown has gone, right, like isn't this kind of what Dallas Goddard's been waiting for? We maybe lemons awesome, maybe Wix is going to be awesome, but yeah, I don't know, I quite like Goddard and it worked to do these like shovel passes to him. So I think they'd keep that in the playbook a little bit. Yeah. Yeah, no problem with Goddard there. We have a 2442. How do you feel about the running back room at this point? Are you feeling good with Pricebrook's quorum, Gainwell? I think the question for us is are we going to do five or six there because we're either going to build this 2682 or 2592. What would you want to do? Yeah, I think it almost comes down to how we feel about building out the wide receiver room and if we feel like we need those extra bullets there with just four wide receivers so far. Do you have? Yeah, go ahead. One two two six eight to a lot, it's not always a great advanced rate build, but I think that has that's more descriptive like it's just the particular bets I was doing that with weren't great bets in the past. This is funny because I feel like normally in this range it's more the running backs are wiped out. I guess Algiers kicking around Bigsby you can always dip into some of the busier guys like Blue and Lloyd and Samson as well or do you like a McMillan trade Tucker, Floor Noi, Joanne Jennings. I tip of you try to hit the end of the running backs first because I like McMillan but like there's other guys to convince yourself and I'm tank here for sure. Yeah, let's do tank what talk to me about tank bullishness. I don't draft a lot of sake one like almost never so just want to be logical in that fade. That was a little bit of buzz about him working him with sake one. I'm not like buying that he's just going to be in a 50/50 split with sake one. But yeah, he's just a premier handcuff and I again, like I think you can squint and be like, well Blake Corm is the most expensive handcuff and tank is multiple rounds cheaper. I was hoping to get Lloyd to go with tank and I kind of play this like when it kind of depends here like if the running back gets wiped out, I'm like fine, I'll live with five. If not, I'll tack on like blue Lloyd, whatever. All right, we got 682 people hanging out right now drafting with the BBM2 champ Chessley and make sure you guys are subscribed to the channel. We are now running two baseball breakfast shows a week, the Monday, 10 a.m. with the usual lineup Adam Levitan, Sam Sherman and Pat Karein, and then we've been mixing in various guests here on Wednesdays as well at 10 a.m. Eastern Liam, do you have a set streaming schedule or is it as simple as subscribe and you will get a tweet that says live? Yeah, that's mostly it. I tag my discord when I go live. I tweeted out. Because I'm set, but for the most part, it's just at live everyone in the discord. Let's go. There you go. There you go. One of these days will get you on a regular stream. One of these days. Not to do. You'll teach me how to draft a shipper and I will teach you how to create a set schedule for. Yeah, I would not advise anyone to do what I does, but somehow it's working. All right. Let's see what we got. What position do you want to look at here, Liam? Well, do you want five or six running backs? What's your feeling there? I'm not I'm not panicked either way. Like I would be fine if we ended up with five. If there's a target, we end up liking. I'm also not opposed to six here. I would be Camera, blue or I quite like the floor knowing tray hair spets a lot. So I'm one of those four. Yeah. Why don't we do why don't we do the wide receiver first for a floor noise or Harris? Let's do floor noise today. All right. Let's do floor noise here. Get another wide receiver. We can see what comes back to us. I guess Trader is like more live to be the wide receiver to than floor noise. But you know, we've seen it from floor noise in the single week sense. And that game I just love. I love Cowboys Giants for week 17. Yes. So far, we have what do we have for correlation? You mentioned we have the the price in Brooks there. We have some quorum opposite gain well. So we are all week 17 running back correlation is what we have so far here, Liam. We got teammate correlation, tanking audit. I count that a little bit. Who are you? Some of your favorite guys here? I've been doing I do like a wicks a good bit who went off. Talk me out and tell where you were you at on him. Like I'm kind of drafting drafting him quite a bit. But I don't like I'm just ready for it to be like, oh, he's that was just a training camp clip or two. You know, I'm with you on that sentiment. It feels like the right process pick that has a very low likelihood of hitting is kind of where I'm at. And I don't know. I'm getting it does seem like Higgins, you know, the quotes are he's taking a leap this year. I don't think he's going to be just the Nico handcuff. They could run, you know, a good bit there with no L and kind of Dell rotating that wide receiver three spot. And then I think you're in just really dicey territory. So yeah, I don't know how to play it. I definitely have a big bag of tank Dell. I've really cooled off on it late just because I'm a little spooked by how much I have. It looks like some of those starts wicks when speaking of which Dell is here. Do we want to take the leak Washington for week 17? I also, this is where I have like Cyrus Allen and Pat Bryant ranked in Jacobi Lane. So if you want to take any of those guys, you mentioned Bateman got hurt today. Should we grab Lane here? Sure. I have Cyrus ranked the highest because I'm just uneasy about Rishi like okay. I just think there's, I mean, it sounds crazy to say, but there's like just a legit chance. And is the wide receiver one of the chiefs or even pass catcher one, depending what Kelsey looks like. Let me catch up on the chat here. A few things, Christopher Davis, will there be time for an eliminator before it fills? So I did an eliminator with Chad candles earlier on the stream. So you can wind that back. I do have three more eliminator live drafts to do maybe on the bash tomorrow. I can talk a guest into doing a liminator, but thank you for the super chat. I also had put a poll in the chat. Do we do a BBM draft or a chest draft? Chest lesson. If you guys want a trip, go back in the archives in the live stream. You can even sort by oldest. You can find a few chest streams with Liam back in the day. One of these days, we should run that back a little reunion. I still think a chest tournament with between like you, Davis, like the ETR guys, whatever, like something like that. It would be fun. You do a commentary of us like chess, me doing commentary. Maybe you can do a best fall draft as it happens. I don't know the format exactly, but I think that would be peak like, like what, March, March on. Yeah. Big board season. Yeah. Yes. Cyrus Allen does go here, Pat Bryant goes here. So all the fun targets getting wiped. Let's see. What do you want to look at? I think B Rob's kind of like last call. That gives us week 17 correlation on our Saints stuff too. Yeah. Um, I think he's just like people are bored of him. So he falls. Are you good with the two Allen shock Bowers got her? Yeah. I don't want another one's the position for sure ever on underdog ever, ever, ever not with Josh Allen and Chuck. I meant in like about like, we took the QB1 and Titan one. Like, why would we be going through there? It's just to get the third stack for the, for the uniqueness through the pod. If we have Allen crush one week and he's on every single team in week 16, and it's like, oh, this Mendoza and Bowers stack could be unique here in one of the weeks. That he's like, okay, if, if Mendoza is there in the 18th and you're like, you know what, this time I don't feel like gambling between Josh Palmer or Keon, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. Like, likely zeros. Um, I just had a jump scare. You drafting Josh Palmer and Keon Coleman.
because I thought are those real names that you're drafting? - I, not often, but pretty much the talk out of bills is that, like, Scather Bell is behind comfortably Keon and Palmer. - I believe that. - And so, yeah, I think, like someone asked me yesterday, like, is Josh Palmer worthy of a dark throw? And I was like, the answer is yes, and I was already thinking about drafting him, so I just took him in the 18th. - Was that your first, your first partner? - It was my first, yeah, he's the guy you get, like, two teams, three teams in your 500% the field, you know, because he's on 50 teams. - All right, Chad, saying Keon Coleman is a really good pick, is the death of me. - I've never worked with a woman. Like, if we zoom out and we think like, Michael Wilson, Parker Washington, Blake Korn was left for dead after his rookie year too. Like, so many guys we just change our tune about, it would not be that crazy for Keon to turn it around. But I think we need wide out mostly on this team. - Do you do Baylay at all with your Shuck stuff? - I don't, I'm open to it though. - I mean, I don't feel strongly. - I would do like, Caleb Douglas, Malek High Fields, Calvin Ridley, who I don't really take. - I've been wanting to get some more Caleb Douglas and opposite our bill stack, I think is fun. We missed out on Malik, let's do, let's do Douglas. - Pretty bullish on the depth chart. They just listed him as a starter. Like, you don't usually see rookies get that treatment. - Yes. No, he's someone that, you know, I wrote them up. It's like, it's Lane, it's Hearst, it's Cyrus Allen. I mean, the Douglas stuff has been good. Older prospect, but should be more NFL ready to like you said, just hit the ground running. And the fact that you could get release season production from him just with how weak that depth chart is and then have him improve as the year goes along. - I'm in on Douglas as a late round click. - Probably fits Malik's game too. Like, you know, I'm kind of guessed that Malik is sketchy on the intermediate stuff, but can still rope a deep ball in there to Douglas. The one fly in the ointment is like, when does Chris Bell return and what is Chris Bell? Like that, that I don't know. - Yeah, I mean, I think there's so much opportunity available that room that if you're just competent, you're probably not gonna lose. It's almost like if Chris Bell comes along and Douglas is fine, it's like what, he's gonna push aside Tutu Atwell or Jalen Polbert or whatever, like I'm sure they'll be happy to leave Caleb Douglas out there if he's playing decently. - For sure. I mean, I just know people were talking about him like he's some stud. So like if that's, if he is, then it's like, okay. I wouldn't really wanna do Keon as much on this team because we did Shakira. - Yeah. - Malkay Field is getting in talk, like he's the wide receiver too. - Yup. - Taikwan, I don't think is a crazy shout. I draft quite a bit of Tori Horton. Just for a single week upside. I still think Christian Kirk is draftable and has a lot of upside, like he's got, his downside range is he's cut from the team but I still think he's an upside click. - All right, this is the key right now, sorted by ADP Fields, Keon Coleman, Tori Horton, Sarat, and Devon Vele. Who do you wanna do? - I want you to land us here. Choose your soldier. - Does Vele grow shit out? - I think it's reasonable. I've not done it, but I think it's reasonable. - All right, let's do some Vele. We did a couple of the rookies there. Jacobi Lane Douglas. We missed out on Jawan Johnson. Let's do the double stack with Tyler Shuck. So here's the team, Liam. Josh Allen, Tyler Shuck. We got the 2682. Zero RB team, we started with Jadarian Price at 67 and then went Brooks, Blake Corm, Kenny Gainwell, Tank Bixby, and Brian Robinson. We then get to eight wide receivers. I'm in Rossane Brown, Crystal Lava, DJ Moore, Khalil Shakur, Ryan Floreny, Jacobi Lane, Caleb Douglas, Devon Vele, two tight ends, Brock Bowers, Dallas Goddard. How did we do? It's easy to see how this goes bad, but it's also easy to see how it doesn't. It's like, basically, it's what is DJ Moore, Olave, and Amandraal. If those three are roughly startable each week and manage, then we got a bunch of flyers that fill in the gaps there. What is Bowers this year? Bowers is truly a difference maker. We're pretty awesome there. What is Josh Allen this year? If he is QB1 and smash in the playoff weeks, let's go. And then, really, our running back room comes down to the first four. And we layered in two pretty awesome handcuffs. Slash, maybe more. You know, like maybe Brian Robinson is Tyler Algier in it and getting some goal line work. And maybe Tank does fit the Russian scheme and gets more this year. Yeah, I like it, man. Have an Allen in Bowers, the QB1, the tight end one. I like that you pressed us to be aggressive with the running back targets there. Just like grab Brooks, we took Koram at ADP. We grabbed Gainwell, make sure this room works. You get two really nice contingent upside backs there with Tank and Brian Robinson, if anything happens to Beigeon or Barkley. And then with the three high end wide receivers there, I'm even going to give you DJ Moore as a high end wide receiver. I'm going to include him in that designation. Amandraal, LaVe, more and then just build it out with some correlated depth, some rookies who could pop. I can see the vision here, Liam, I like it. Reports out of commanders, Dolphins joint practice is the Dolphins secondary is terrible. So we got that week 17, DJ Moore 70 ball on lock. I build a lot of teams like this, honestly, when I take Josh and go elite tight end. It's not always Valor, sometimes it's Lovelin, sometimes it's McBride, but these teams feel good to me. It's like, if it is like, okay, if it is fine, you just need like ETN, Jonathan Taylor, Dare Canary, it's like, okay, fine, we're seventh in the pod. But I can see how they do. - And this is a fun flavor of zero RB room because a lot of times I'll have like, if I am doing it among Gumree or Amandre, where you're kind of starting with some early season production there, but it's like, if you can get things to break quickly for price and brooks, like these are the two guys going what? Outside of the top 60 picks that you could realistically see being second round picks next year, right? Like they are the profiles of who could make the biggest jump. You're just taking the biggest swings, Korman gain while I think you can get stand alone, and you can see how, whether the chaos of the season and injury to Barclay or Bejohn, you can see how this room comes together and looks a lot stronger than it does right now. - Yeah, like, I mean, look, Kyron and SakeOne roll their ankle week one or worse, and you're like, oh my God, like this team is the best team I have, you know? - Yes. - Liam, I know you have a heart out here at one, so let the people know when is your next stream where they can check you out, all that good stuff, and shout out your recent article as well and where they can find that. - BeatBestBall.com, you can just look me up, Liam Murphy on YouTube, I stream daily. Me, Ron and Jacob, I think we're running our main this upcoming Monday. People always like that main, typically a lot of nah-hant waving, overruling each other. Thanks for having me on, Pete. - Yeah, man, thank you for the reminder too, because in just over an hour, we are doing a main event with Ron Stewart over on the ship chasing channel. We got a 2 p.m. Eastern main. Liam, we have the 104. Who is the pick there? - I would go Puka, like I wouldn't be scared away from that. - Yeah, to chase if you can get him and then Puka. - Yeah, yeah, I guess it would be something funky, 'cause I feel like Chase is now kind of like solidified as the one who has powers going in main. I don't think it's crazy to take powers too, but like I'm gonna guess that, Jacob's gonna try to make you do that in every draft, so. - We don't have a power share. We've done two main events so far, so I'm open to it. But yeah, I think it's a tough combo between Puka and Bowers. - Puka's fantasy schedule and that game against the box is just really, like the box secondary is terrible. It's just really easy to see, you have to have him. - Yep. All right, appreciate you, Liam. Go follow him on YouTube. I have his handle linked, hyperlinked in the description, so if you just click the chest, Liam, you can get over there. Quickly, he was also on the SWALCAST a couple of weeks ago if you wanna go check out. That appearance, appreciate everybody in the chat. Thanks for the super chats, the YouTube memberships, all of that good stuff. You can watch the ship chasing draft at 2 p.m. Eastern on the ship chasing channel, and then we'll be back here tomorrow. Noon Eastern, we're gonna have the best ball bash. You guys hop on stream and draft with me, followed by the Ian Hartitz randomizer. Shout out to producer Mark. Shout out to Chad, to Cups, to Madison Parkhill. And of course, Liam, we'll see you guys next time. Peace.

Summary:
FAQs
Camp buzz should be taken with a grain of salt. Trust the prospect profile data over beat reporter hype, and look for a 'steady drumbeat' of positive reports rather than a single highlight play.
Cups is very high on Bijan Robinson, considering him a top pick at 1.06, even ahead of players like Christian McCaffrey and Jonathan Taylor, due to his high upside.
Lane has an impressive prospect profile with good athletic metrics and a 72 Supermodel rating, but his college production was not outstanding. His high ceiling comps include Terry McLaurin and DK Metcalf, but only six of 20 comps hit a top-24 finish in their careers.
Warren is poised for a bigger role in the Colts' offense, especially with injuries to other receivers. His college experience with red-zone wildcat work could translate to valuable touchdowns, making him a strong value in the middle of the sixth round.
These running backs offer upside at a discount. Mitchell is seen as a key part of the Dolphins' backfield, while Marks is a bet against David Montgomery, with potential as a pass-catcher and a path to a larger role if Montgomery misses time.
Kittle is underpriced despite his age and recent injury, as he's moving well in camp and could be ready for early season games. He's a top tight end option at a fraction of the cost of others.
