The hosts of the Ring of Fantasy Football show discuss their "Do Not Draft" list, identifying players they avoid for various reasons, including injury history, quarterback instability, and inflated draft positions. They start with Drake London, noting that while Michael Penix Jr. appears to have won the starting job, concerns about Penix's injury history keep London in the late second or early third round. Chris Olave is avoided due to his concussion history and contract language excluding injury guarantees, making him too risky at his ADP. The Steelers offense is dismissed as low-ceiling, with players like DK Metcalf and Michael Pittman unlikely to provide consistent fantasy value. Colston Loveland is flagged as overvalued, as his breakout was based on a small sample against weak defenses, and his fourth-round price expects an all-time tight end season. Carnell Tate and Brian Thomas Jr. are also avoided due to quarterback issues and volatility, with Thomas described as "radioactive" after ruining a season. David Montgomery's move to the Texans is seen as a downgrade due to their poor rushing attack, making him a dead zone back. The list also includes Jeremiah Love, Xavier Worthy, Tank Bigsby, and Kyle Pitts, with the latter mocked for repeated disappointments. The episode concludes with a "Fuck, Marry, Kill" game and a tribute to Dolly Parton, who passed away.
Welcome to the Ring of Fantasy football show, my name is Danny Heifetz and I'm joined by Danny Kelly and Crack Rollbick in person.
We're still here. Los Angeles just got here. We just got it. We're gonna go through the players we're not drafting and some players we don't think you should draft and there's also some players that we're not saying you can't draft them, but we were like never gonna draft them, which I do think there's a little bit of a distinction.
Hate the ADP not the player. Well, some players we hate. Some players don't hate some players. It's a mix of both guys. We're not drafting for various reasons, which we will get into.
Yeah, there you go. We're gonna go through, yes, some news, a couple other fun things at the end. We want to build Simmons to show this week. So that was fun if you haven't seen that check it out.
Yeah, on Tuesday morning, we went on is live on Netflix. So it's on Netflix currently right now. And I imagine it's also by this time on Bill's feed on Spotify. So go listen.
Just a reminder, we have the Netflix. We were we live on Netflix on Friday. You go under the Netflix app on Friday. We'll be there ring or fancy football live draft. It'll be three of us. Bill Simmons, Dave Chang, Joe House, Cousin Sal, Sean Fennancy, Mallory Rubin, Chris Ryan, Van Lathen, Tate Frazier.
Oh God, I was one of the 12th person is there'll be so and so on.
We did a 12 team league. We had to 12 team league this year. We determined the draft order by anonymously assigning golf balls or like writing names on golf balls of every person in a league.
And then hyphids the can I went to it like a like a golf simulator and just smash balls with the driver and whichever shot was the longest first pick all the way down to last pick. We will be revealing that draft order video on social.
So go to the ring or fantasy football Instagram. We're going to have that on the Instagram.
You can see all the swing driver. I'm not a big golf I've golf like maybe once or twice. Your swing looks better than mine.
My swing it works, but it's a little cock and baby. So it's, you know, people people will be upset look so for works at works. All right. So there you go.
Live draft. That's 2 p.m. Eastern 11 a Pacific on Friday, August 28. That'll be it'll be really fun and a little deranged cannot wait.
So what is Bill going to wear this year? That's a question.
What did fans say last year with the V&E with the channel remember? It was funny. You have to watch definitely check it out.
You came in of Drake made Jersey and a beauty, right? Yeah. Okay. Without further ado, actually with further ado, because we're going to throw to a break and take a quick break.
And then after the ado, then we'll get into everything.

Okay. This is the official do not draft list. That's big deal, DK. D&D. Yeah. This is a big deal. Hope you avoid those landmines.
This is big. I actually, I feel, I usually stick to, I feel more strongly about players I don't want usually each year than players I do.
Like the top eight guys I don't want every year. I am more strict over not taking them than I am to make sure I get the eight guys I like. Do you feel that way?
Yeah.
I have really hard avoids. And usually even unless it becomes ridiculously affordable, I usually just don't take like eight guys I don't want.
Yeah, there's always a handful and this is probably pretty close to the list of guys that I just like do not consider at any point, even if they are late.
I'm just like, I gloss over their name. I don't even really pay attention to them.
Well, because it's a double whammy. If you end up with a guy you didn't want and he sucks, it's just like the worst case scenario.
Yeah, yeah. It feels terrible. Can I have some conviction in this world?
So should we just, should I kick it off? I think let's do it.
All right. The reason we're going to start here is there's a little bit of news around it and it's contingent on a couple things.
So my do not draft list and I believe it's on hypothesis as well as Drake London, the receiver for the Falcons sucks because we like London.
Love London as a talent. I think he's great.
Problem is if two is going to be the starting quarterback, we have some concerns about Drake London.
If Michael Pentax is the quarterback, last year with Pentax, Drake London was like legitimately a top five-hour receiver in fantasy.
Right. His playstyle was incredible.
Going down field, getting up, getting the ball, it was great in the red zone, it was great in the end zone.
It works.
Two, I feel the exact opposite. He wants to get the ball out quick.
Like it doesn't mesh as well with London style.
It appears as though Michael Pentax has won the quarterback competition against two by default without playing.
It's never happened before.
They're running on a post with the guy loses to a right in.
My dad won.
Someone quote unquote my dad.
The guy with the brace over there beat Tua who's just been playing our camp.
Our fear with Drake London the whole time was we'll surely Tua practicing can't lose to Michael Pentax.
He ran out of a post.
They don't call me sure.
That was incorrect.
It appears as though if Michael Pentax is healthy enough to play in week one,
it's starting to look like it is.
I believe he's going to be the starting quarterback week one.
I'm kind of back in on Drake London.
You have to factor in the fact that Pentax is a very injury prone.
He's had multiple season ending injury three ACL injuries.
Three ACL injuries.
But who's counting?
Can I read the quote from NBC Sports?
This is Lee's.
This is Ian Rappaport.
And it says, "And if on networks the Ian Rappaport believes two at Tongue of I Lo is play has made the plan to make him the starter at the beginning of the season quote impossible."
Simply not.
Below it.
It just rarely do you see a national reporter talk about a quarterback in these kinds of black and white terms as far as how well they're playing.
So it's an alarming sign for two as fantasy value.
I'm like, two as fantasy value.
No one cares about two as fantasy.
Impossible is the funniest thing there.
He's making it impossible.
I just love it.
And even like the tweet, it says, two as play made it quote impossible to name him starter.
Fucking brutal.
Honestly, I feel less.
I feel actually really not vindicated, but I feel less crazy.
Because watching him in the preseason, I'm not always like the preseason is the most important thing.
But you were on this immediately.
From the first fumbled snap.
The problem with how to play the preseason was the fumbled snap was one of his better moments.
Like everything.
Like at least you didn't see him try to throw a football when he fumbled the ball.
But when he tried to throw the him missing check downs to his left where he's a lefty.
Like not.
Yeah, he's not.
He's not enough of quarterback anymore.
And he's not.
I don't think he's an NFL backup anymore.
Is there any like correlated or comparison to this in two in terms of two wins in the sense that he led the NFL in passing yards two years ago.
And all of a sudden, he has absolutely freaking lost it.
Like he lost everything.
The first.
The first guy I think I was like maybe Carson Wentz type player who for a hot minute there was.
That's a good one.
A couple of years or a for a year and then got hurt came back.
It just was not the same player.
Maybe the Daniel Jones after he hurt his neck for a couple of years, he was really, really off.
But the two of thing, and I've said this a few times on the show like he is the least.
A toolsy quarterback.
I don't know what's the word.
He's like most physically limited.
He can't move.
He doesn't have arm strength and he can't.
He's slow.
So yeah, to tie it in a bow here, I would say if Michael Penex is starting, I think it's fine to take trick London as like at the end of the second round.
Well, if two of us are starting, I think he would be like a fourth rounder.
So here's the problem.
If two is made it impossible for them to start, then I'm to be clear, I'm way more open to taking trick London now that Michael Penex might play.
The problem is how many weeks will Michael Penex play off his third ACL recovery?
Michael Penex who's kind of rushing back, so to speak, to get back to the starting because he's like I can win this job immediately.
But if he doesn't play, then who's this other guy?
Who's the third string and Jack Strand?
I mean, are we down?
Maybe.
Jack Strand's probably going to play this year.
So I'm like, that's more than two.
So I think I'm more in on Drake London, but I kind of think there's a serious chance that they skip if Penex get hurt.
Cooper Rush.
Is Cooper Rush on a Falcon?
Yeah, no, they did sign Cooper Rush.
I mean, they might cut to it and have to keep Cooper Rush as the real back up.
Because Cooper Rush only signed a few weeks ago.
But Jack Strand is an undrafted free agent out of Minnesota state more head.
And he's better than the dragons.
So we all agree, like maybe end of the second round, third round now for Drake London is reasonable if Penex is playing.
Yeah, it's just one of those like every week Penex plays, Drake London's going to be good.
But it's like, okay, like over the course of a season, do I want to use a second round pick on someone quarterback?
I think it's the late second, early third is the right time.
It's better now.
Penex playing is good.
Here's the way I'll put it.
I'll put it better. We believe there's like 11-12 running backs that you got to get.
I don't think London should go before any of those guys.
No, definitely.
And then I like those top 11 running backs.
And it depends on Ash and Jesse, which we should talk about.
And then it's, I would take Brock Bar was Hager Brown.
And then I would, and then Drake London.
And in Devon H Ann is like the last of those guys.
And then I would take.
If Penex pulls a hammy in a week and it's two up, I think London is like top 50 player.
Not a top 30 player.
What weren't Tom and injuries though real quick?
Are we putting Ash and Jesse to the do not draftless just solely out of like the ambiguity and how high you have to take them?
Because there was a report today because here's what we were wondering about Ash and Jesse.
The raiders running back and he had a low, he did an ankle sprain.
And it's like, well, is it a low ankle sprain, which is a recovery time of days to weeks or a high ankle sprain, which is weeks to months.
And low high, we want to figure it out.
And then Ian Rapp report also.
and if a network reported that it's more low than high.
Kind of an assistant to the general manager,
since we're actually, right.
And that, to me, that people were like,
oh, so it's a middle ankle sprain.
I'm like, I think that means both.
Middle, you don't often hear a mid ankle sprain.
And I think that's, I think that means nothing.
It's not a low ankle sprain though.
I think if it's more low than high,
that means that he has a low ankle sprain and a high ankle sprain.
So I'm like, would you actually take Ash and Jettin
so we get a diagnosis?
I'm probably not.
Not where he's going.
I think he still has the name power
and being a top pick in the draft
that he's going to still go like the one to turn.
Don't you think?
Or is he going to fall further down?
No, I think he'll be at the end of round two.
If he's not at the end of round two,
I might be willing to do it still.
Drake London, and the reason I bring it up,
he's right around Drake London.
He's not on the beginning of where I'm talking about.
I would say Jenty does not make my do not draft list,
but I'm pretty worried about it.
He's not going to play week one.
He's going to draft a play in the second round
and one of him play week one on a team
that we're already hoping is like, so better.
All of those 11 running backs we talked about,
it's like all the guys at the top,
Jemere Gibbs and Bigeon,
all the way down to like Kenneth Walker,
Devon, H&N is maybe the 11th?
Yeah, H&N is the 11th and I think Jenty is there.
Are you taking Jenty after all of those guys?
Is Jenty now at the bottom of the 12th?
Is he now 12th?
Yeah.
Or do you want to drop him all the way down
to that next year of like Kyrim Williams,
Josh Jacobs, is he in there?
That's where he is for me
because I think he's not going to miss,
he's going to miss week one.
And that point you're drafting an injured player
with your second big higher than lower on that one.
Yeah.
Try it in low.
I'm dropping him just below.
I think I lean closer to high fits.
I think he's closer to like, Josh Jacobs.
The thing with drafting injured players
is the moment the season begins,
you remember what it's like to have injured players.
You're like, oh, so I have to play somebody else.
Like you really want to start the season
seeing a cue next to the guy you took first?
He's out on like Thursday before we go.
Oh, I have to play Jacoia Croskey-Mere in week one now
who's also injured.
Reading the little thing that says,
imagine it's week one in theory.
It's like, wow, clean slate.
I have a bunch of healthy guys in my team.
Week one reading, Ashen Gentie quote,
gonna give it a go and week one.
We're already in hell.
It all seriously.
Here we go again.
Like in the middle of the season,
you're like, man, I don't even like fantasy football.
I'm in fucking trenches down here.
I'm rubbing yourself a week one.
Like week one being immediately in this scrap of idea back
and working out with somebody pouring cold water on you.
You're like, I want to wake up softly.
It sucks exactly.
It's like one of those little light lamps
that kind of wakes you up slowly.
- You know the tricks people play on each other
where they start recording their phone
and then one person just flips out
and starts panicking
and then the other person immediately panics.
- How I don't know that.
- What do you talk about?
- What is that?
- Someone's just, it's like,
so would be standing here and be like,
oh my god, like that.
It was like a free dollar person out for nothing.
That's what it was.
- Yeah, I was pretty skinny right there.
- Yeah, no, you were like a rock.
- I was like, go be with the Matt Barnes.
That was pretty good.
- Although I heard that the angle about,
is that right?
- I've heard that too.
- Oh, is it bullshit?
- It is not nearly as cool as you were seeing it.
- It's like to the top.
- That is like,
that's like exposing O's the mentalist.
- Oh my god.
- I'm so mad at the person who showed me
that the Matt Barnes play wasn't as cool as it looks.
- What bothers you more?
Travis ETN being HN or it being O's the mentalist?
- Well, I'm not mad at Travis ETN
for doing the name thing.
- I said what bothers you more?
- O's the mentalist not being O's as fucking insane.
- It does.
- There's like, is there any more famous two word,
two letter pronunciation than Wizard of Oz?
And he's like, no, call me O's.
- It's up there with Sony.
- 'Cause his name is O's, his first name is O's.
- O's that change things?
- Oh, he's a stage name, he's a magician.
Is that really his first name?
- It says his name is O's Perlman.
- I mean, I just kind of assume the change it,
'cause he's a famous magician.
We're famous magician, he uses the real name.
- O's Perlman.
- All right, O's Perlman.
Sorry, I thought he had a trick up his sleeve.
What am I supposed to fucking though?
- No.
- Anyway, okay, give us,
yeah, give us a player you're not drafting this year.
- All right, so this one is,
to me it's less emotional and more just rational logic
and trying to apply it to the full season.
We talked about genty, the injury, history,
and the concern there.
Chris Olave, for me, is just a guy who I just,
I understand that he's good.
I understand he did well last year.
He was well received for nine last year
in points for a game, over 1,000 yards.
I think he had nine touchdowns,
so he had a great season.
But when I look at him, I'm just like,
this is so, will you get him pretty high,
like second or third round?
And I just don't want to be in the position
where my season hangs on him staying healthy.
I mean, I know that there's, you can't predict injuries,
but his history with concussions,
he also had a blood clot issue.
And it came out today, Nick Hunterhill actually reported this
that the language in Olave's contract
actually excludes those from injury guarantees.
So like if he were to, his career were to end
because of concussions or because of the pulmonary,
embolism, the blood clot thing,
he doesn't actually have the guarantees
in his contract for that.
And he left practice today with an injury,
but-- - Wait, hold on.
He, the injury guarantees
in Olave's contract void for concussions
or for those two things, specifically, yes.
And that makes sense because that was the big concern
for everyone before he got his new big contract,
which was like, and this is the concern in fantasy.
I know that it's morbid.
I know that it's not like thinking positively,
but if he gets one more concussion,
he could miss the whole season.
- No, but it's worth mentioning
because some people don't give a shit,
but some people are also like, this is a fantasy football
and you don't want to watch your players
through their fingers, you're kind of just watching,
like that's one, before two has started sucking,
even when two is playing well,
it was kind of like, I don't like watching this man get hit.
- Right.
- He left practice today with an injury,
but it turns out he just got the win knocked out of him.
So he's fine.
Question for you, DK, Chris Olave.
So yeah, he's going like third round.
End of the third round.
Right after AJ Brown, right before Malik neighbors,
kind of that range or she writes,
if let's say he had never had a concussion before
and you didn't have to think about that.
Where would you be taking him?
- I would be taking him pretty high.
Like I think talent wise, he's a real player.
- I would be taking him higher than he's going now
'cause he's a higher than Drake London.
- Like how high would?
- Yeah, probably above Drake London.
Yeah, because of the continuity with a quarterback,
the offense, the Kellymor offense,
Jordan Tyson's not gonna be playing for the first two months
of the season.
Yes, I would be taking him very high.
To me, this is purely, and again, that's why it's,
this is also like a rational thing where I just don't want
to have my whole season hinge on him,
staying healthy.
- I think another point, you didn't even bring this up,
but it's another argument in your favor.
Is this happens a lot in fantasy
where sometimes a player that we're really like injury prone
every year and then they have a healthy season
and then everyone prices them
like they're not injury prone anymore.
- Which is also Ken Walker this year,
which is someone you love.
But you know who else had one healthy season is Tyler Schuck,
who before had every season of his career
at college, basically, I have a season in a bunch of cards.
- Talk about the parlay of like both Schuck's
day healthy all year and a lobby's day healthy all year.
Like, yeah, I think it is a lot of risk.
- I think it's, and again, I know that we're getting
granular about concussions and concussions
are so hard to predict, but to me, it's like,
guys can be injury prone, guys can have history of injuries
and you could worry about that a little bit,
but taking one hit and being like,
oh, he can't play for the next two months.
- The cognitive dissonance we all have to watch football
is already fragile enough, and so it's gotta let you know.
- Do you think they give him routes
that are less conducive to concussions?
- No.
- You don't like so?
- No.
'Cause that would be, you can't--
- It's an interesting idea though.
- No, they don't.
- Like last, like, people from all over the middle.
- Yeah.
- No, and all seriousness?
- Yeah.
- No, the answer is that they can't,
no, I didn't mean it that way, Tyler goes dick.
I meant, in all seriousness, acknowledging
that kind of risk on a given play and banking it in
is like, you can't even, you can't think that way.
Like, you have to just be like, I've just,
like, we're, as a unit, as a team in organizations.
- Like, they tailored the Miami offense to two
and not getting hit.
- Like, so I was killing the thing.
- I think that was--
- If they could say quarterback is different,
but, I mean, they did that.
- I think that also is just kind of like the way he plays,
but I think quarterbacks may be a different position,
but like, I don't think a wide receiver, they're like,
well, he can only do this.
It's like, no, it's like, you're healthier, you're not.
- Well, it's funny just because like,
there are some players who skill set limits certain routes.
Some players, you want to be running over the middle,
some players, you want to just, like, look at Brian Thomas.
There are some routes that works, some routes that do,
or that don't.
- So, like, couldn't you, couldn't you just, in theory, be like,
well, why wouldn't we just treat Chris Alavi
as a receiver who can run certain routes
and can't run other routes to protect his brain?
- Because, well, I mean, the real answer is
that I don't think that NFL teams are, like, coaches,
players are not thinking about it that way.
Like, if you're honest, like, that isn't baked
into the sport, the honest.
- Yeah, I guess, I guess, I don't know.
My point is just like, if you're already,
if some players are just like, not good running certain routes
and you have, so then you wouldn't,
you wouldn't give them those routes.
- Which routes are safe?
- Well, there are some that I would say
are safer than others, wouldn't you say?
- Well, yeah, you're crossing the middle.
- You're not sending players over the middle
to get knocked out by a safety or whatever.
- But, wasn't Brian Thomas flinching over the middle?
And so they're like,
- Yes, so maybe we get it.
- Which won't run him those routes.
Like, couldn't you just apply that to Chris Alavi?
It's for different reasons.
But, like, you can still tailor routes to players,
skill sets, or other routes.
- I'm not defending it.
Like, again, there's a giant article in the near time.
We're recording this Tuesday.
It's a giant article in the near times this morning
about CTE and it's, like, horrible.
It's like one in four players, the study,
you know, might end up with what they, it's horrible.
But, their eldest team just don't think about it.
It's as simple as they're like,
they paid him a ton of money.
Just got a contract extension for 35 million a year.
He runs around.
And, like, also, I mean, I wonder.
- I wonder.
- No, it's a good question to your point.
I think Tua is the most--
- I mean, I guess or no, it's probably shades.
- To your point.
I would love to ask Kalin Moore.
And, like, is that, do you think about that
when you are designing plays?
And, if he's like, no, it's football, it is what it is.
- I think that the most illustrative person about this
is Tua, who is over and over said, I don't want to be known for concussions.
I don't want, I wish people would stop talking.
- He doesn't want to think about it.
- But, I'm talking about the coaching, not the player.
I get the player.
- Yeah.
- But, I wonder if Kalin Moore is like,
maybe I don't send Chris Olavi over the middle 10 times a game.
I don't know.
- Yeah, maybe.
- I think there is a little bit of that.
- I kind of would be shocked if it wasn't, but I could be wrong.
- The fact that we had to go into all that
is why Dukes write that you probably don't want
Chris Olavi and your fantasy team.
- Well, yeah.
- 'Cause you know why?
Your saliva gets tackled and you're not having fun anymore.
How low would you have to go to. like would you rather have Chris Lovie or T Higgins?
- Oh, T Higgins. - Probably T Higgins.
- T Higgins is like the most fun player to have with T Higgins.
- Terry McClorean, at that point, just the value of it,
but I get what you say.
- I think, yeah, I think if he falls like two to three rounds
then I'm like thinking about it,
but really the reason I have it here
is just 'cause I don't wanna have to think about it.
- It's a good reminder, DK,
that like fantasy football should be fun,
and if there are certain, for whatever reason,
if you don't, like some people, like my brother
doesn't like having Eagles or Cowboys 'cause he's a giant fan.
And I'm like, that's where I'm at.
- I don't wanna root for the Cowboys.
- That's totally valid.
- This is not like I don't wanna root for a Lovie,
it's more just, yeah.
- Well, no, but you're saying that I don't want to be fearful
of one of my players being tackled.
- Yeah.
- And like that's, like, yeah, that's legitimate.
If it breaks, if it's not fun, it makes it not fun.
That's a low fucking point.
We're all probably gonna lose anyway.
Anyway, moving on.
Speaking of not having fun, Steelers,
I'm not drafting the Steelers this year.
And this is a weird one for me, I'm sorry, Craig.
- I think it's totally fair.
I don't think there are fantasy offense.
- Now, here's the thing.
Aside from just speaking of not having fun,
just dealing with Aaron Rodgers
and just pleading the fifth and that freaking guy.
But-- - That was a good teammate.
- Aside from that, I don't think I would tell other people,
you shouldn't draft TK Mecca,
you shouldn't draft Jaila Warren.
I don't know if I wanna say that,
but I think the whole team for me is friendzoned.
In that like when I'm doing drafts,
I see the players there,
but they've never actually considered them for even a second.
- That's kinda where I am with them too,
like I just don't think about taking them.
I'm not gonna, they never once centered my mind
that I would take this person.
- Never even occurred to me to call me because of my name.
It's like, oh yeah.
- They're just all, they're all low ceiling players.
Like I would say Michael Pittman might be your best bet
to be like a guy who could start weekly on your team
as a flex, he might catch them,
he'd probably catch those balls on the team this year,
but-- - I disagree with Mecca.
- With all low ceiling.
- Meccaff Pittman, the tight ends are a mess.
- And Meccaff just doesn't fit in for fantasy wise,
it's a mess because Darno Washington is playing--
- John Smith has gone, I think--
- I think Friar Mooth is probably still gonna be
in a rotation.
- But Friar Mooth is going like undrafted.
- Okay, sure, that's fine,
but I don't want to rely on him as my tight end.
- No, no, but I think he's like a fine flyer.
- He's a great waiver ad if it plays well.
- But regardless, it's DK Pittman,
and then the running back too,
I think it's kind of a mess.
Like, who do you choose among Meccaff?
- I think if there's anyone that might pop this year,
it's probably one of the two running backs
could end up being serviceable.
- I think Jalen Warren has the best chance
to become Kenny Gain while this year where Aaron Rogers
is first for you, he will be DK Pitt-Meccaff.
Up, and then I'll throw to Jalen Warren,
or it'll be Pittman up,
and then I'm gonna check down to Jalen Warren
because I don't think Dowdell has that skill set pretty good.
- I think it's gonna be a little bit more of a spread the ball.
There's gonna run a lot more like 11 personnel.
I think this year there's gonna be,
it's just like, it's gonna be Friar Mooth,
it's gonna be Pittman, Metcalf, Bernard,
and Roman Wilson are gonna make the mix.
You have two running backs, you have two tight ends,
I think it's gonna be spread the ball around
low depth of target, not a thing.
- And foot passes, yeah.
- Michael Pittman, he felt to me the ringer league last year 'cause I didn't want him,
and then he felt like 20 spots,
and I just ended up with him, and he was pretty solid.
And maybe Aaron Rogers ends up throwing a bunch of passes
to Michael Pittman's way, but DK Metcalf is a guy that,
I'm like, it's high variance, and it's--
- You're never gonna feel good playing them in a given week.
You're never gonna be like, this is gonna work this week,
it's just gonna be, yeah.
So I don't want any of this dealers.
- I agree.
- DK is another person, you're not drafted.
- Even if they could win games,
I still think they could be winning games,
but I just don't think it's a fantasy perspective.
- Well, they're gonna go nine and eight.
- Probably.
The next player I am choosing here is purely just,
I'm afraid he's been pushed up too high in drafts,
and I don't know if you're gonna be able to squeeze out enough value it from it,
and that's Colson Lovelin for the Bears.
Who, again, I think he's a very good player.
I think the same with Olave, and for different reasons,
like I think Olave is a great player, really good at football.
I have no qualms saying that Colson Lovelin is a very good football player.
The worry I have is that his fantasy prize,
which is he's a type of three in ADP, 42nd-ish overall,
so like fourth round, third fourth round.
It's based on a pretty small sample size,
pretty small sample, and it's like late in the season,
he came on really strong, has some huge games,
but it took him a while to get there.
He was injured at the beginning of the year,
took him a while to get ingrained in the offense,
and I think there was, you know, like the team,
like Roman Doons Day was really banged up,
wasn't playing at all those times.
Luther Burton was still a part-time player.
I just think it was like, based on a few games,
this is our projection for him this year,
and we've pushed him too far up the ADP-less or whatever.
I think if you're taking him there,
you're basically expecting he's going to have
an all-time tight-end season.
- Yeah, this is like, price that is ceiling
is a phrase that we say a lot.
Colson Lovelin is the perfect example of that,
because the tough part is, is when you look at how he closed
the season, he had four--
- It was incredible.
- He had four straight games with double digit targets,
which is like, at tight end is pretty rare.
He had three straight games with 90 plus yards.
Like, you do not see that at tight end.
He basically had a month where he averaged
100 yards of game and doubled digit chance targets,
which is like, elite, as good as it gets.
So I can understand the award.
- My fear, I know it's like the, it's your joke of like,
we could just go through and take out all the good games
and then like he would have sucked.
But you do, like all those good games that coincide
with the Lions had, like the most injured defense,
they didn't fill in no linebackers.
The 49ers were on their third and fourth string linebacker,
the Bengals had probably the worst linebacker duo
in recent NFL history of like,
two rookie linebackers starting,
which had like never happened in like 15 years.
And so those, who Colson Lovelin
mostly dominated against was basically four
of the worst six linebacker grips in the NFL.
And it was like, that happened to be the matchup
that popped each way.
- Well, he did it on a big stage.
I can't-- - Yes.
- And the Packers ran out of game to get 140 yards.
- Yeah, everybody's like, holy shit.
- I think that has an outsize impact.
And it sucks because both the,
I think Colson Lovelin's a good example.
Like, I thought I'd be really high
in Colson Lovelin this year.
And then again, it's the, you come around the corner
and you're like, gonna go to get a sandwich somewhere
and there's a line around the block.
And you're like, I wanted a line.
I love the sandwich here,
but I'm not gonna wait an hour for a sandwich.
I don't want to take a tight end in the fourth round
who had like a good month.
- Well, I also think, I also think it wasn't just
that he had those good games.
It was good games while other people were either hobbled
or just out of the game.
- Yeah, Roman Dutton wasn't playing.
- So, and to me, like, I still think
he could have a very good year.
And he could have, you know, finished as the tight end
for five or six or whatever.
But I think the value that taking him there
is just something I'm not going to be doing a lot.
I think Roman Dutton's gonna have a much better season.
I think Luther Burton could be a breakout star.
And if those two guys, this is what we saw
with the Lions, similar situation with the Lions
in La Porta.
La Porta has a rookie, had 10 touchdowns.
He was a, I think he was the tight end one
or a tight end two or whatever it was.
Huge breakout as a rookie.
And then the next year you come back and it's like,
oh, by the way, we still have superstar receivers
in this offense, Jameson Williams kind of broke out
a little bit.
And La Porta ended up being third in the pecking order
and you need, if you're taking a tight end that early,
he has to be either number one or number two.
- And the only way that I can't guarantee
that love one is gonna be that.
- The only way it ends up working out to me is if,
and this is totally possible and the thing I'm afraid of,
is if the Bears defense is so bad
that the Bears become the Cowboys or Bengals
where they're just in a shoot at,
which happened them last year,
which is one of the reasons this happened.
But the Bears just end up having basically
the best passing season in the history of the Chicago Bears.
Like the Bears have never had a 4,000 yard pass,
it's never happened.
Caleb, like you're talking about the Bears,
okay, can they have 4,500 yards?
Like every team in the NFL has had a 4,000-year pass
or accept the Bears.
And so you're basically being like this has to be the best
season in team history.
And also it is Chicago in December and it's, I don't know.
- I think he should be one round later.
'Cause here's the argument for Loveland, I will say,
is if you look at other tight ends this year,
other than Brock Bowers and Tramock Bride
who have proven that they can just be like the number one guy,
everyone else below Colston Loveland,
I kind of don't think it finishes the best wide receiver
and or is the best tight end advantage,
even no matter what, like-- - Not Tyler Warren.
- I kind of don't feel that way, person.
I don't feel like they're high octane enough.
And then you keep going down like Kyle Pence,
I don't think it could be number one.
I don't think Harold Fann at our sample point.
I don't think any of them could be the best tight end advantage.
I don't think it's unreasonable that Colston Loveland
is the number one. - Yeah, well to that point,
here's one good point we haven't talked about this.
You, is if you just go down to our tight end rankings,
Brock Bowers, Raiders, could be awful.
Just had, you know, I mean, just had the number one pick.
Cardinals with Tramock Bride, could be awful.
- Our most important schedule in the NFL.
- Bears, probably gonna be a really good offense.
And then the Colts could be way worse.
Daniel Jones coming up with the Achilles injury.
Sam Laporte already hurt on the lines.
Kyle pits in the Falcons who might be terrible.
- Fan in on the Browns.
- Fan in on the Browns could be terrible.
And so that is another point, which is like,
the only, like there are two tight ends in the top 10
on teams that might even be good.
And so look like in these rounds, you know,
upside is very important.
You want to take guys who can change your team right now
where Loveland's going is tough
because the guys around him are like,
Devonte Smith, Lad McConkey, Jalen Waddle, Abouca.
Those are dudes to me that could change your season
and have a huge- - Right, the story of the season.
- If you push Loveland around later,
now you can take him around Terry McClurent, Jalen Warren,
Mike Evans, Devonte Adams, RJ Harvey.
That to me is, now I'm like, ooh,
I don't know if any of those guys have the same upside
Loveland has.
So if you push him around, if he falls around,
I think I would take him.
Just for the upside.
- Also, to be clear, he's a really good player.
Coastal Loveland is really good, but yeah.
Okay, next up, Craig, give us another player
you're not drafting this year.
- I'm not drafting Karnell Tate.
The fourth overall pick in this year's real NFL draft.
- Yeah, like basically where he's going at drafts
is like, would you start him as the third
wide receiver on your fantasy team?
And I was really high on Calvin really last year on the Titans.
I was like, Kim Ward can't be worse than Will Levis.
You know what I mean?
Calvin Ridley at 1,000 yards is Will Levis.
So like, let's just do the same thing.
And now Karnell Tate, I think is better than Calvin Ridley.
And yet, I don't know if Kim Ward's good.
I don't trust the offense at all.
Wando Robinsons there, who's going to take a lot of targets.
- Who's going to bring up targets?
- I think Tate's going to be way more high variance.
And if like, Kim Ward can't get it together,
I think there's a chance that,
is a more irrelevant player at least for a while.
And this could totally come back to bite me
and I'm aware of that.
Rookie's second half of the season often do well.
Rookie, wide receivers, but there's been,
he kind of like hasn't really made waves in camp.
- He isn't comfortable in pre-season games.
- And patching was kind of his thing in college.
- So I just, I don't know.
He's going around guys and drafts
that are like Parker Washington, like Christian Watson.
I think I'm gonna have those guys.
- I totally agree.
He's another guy that I've just never clicked on.
And he's the guy, like for example,
I don't think I'm gonna tell other people,
but the truth is how we look at this,
right, I think a good way to look at this episode.
He's sometimes afraid of like hey, I did my draft,
show you and they show your team.
What do you think?
If you ended up with Colson Loveland,
I'm not gonna be like, oh no, like Colson Loveland's sick.
We just think he might be going higher.
If you have carnaltate and you're starting line up,
I'm like, oh God.
- Yeah. - I'm a little nervous.
- Oh, there's upside there.
- Yeah, I think it's a steinesty.
- Oh.
- Like I'm like, I'm a nervous for you
if carnaltate is starting.
- So that's where I'm at with him.
- I think that's a really,
I think he is the perfect player for this exercise.
- Yeah, 'cause reporters were asking Sala,
the Titans coach about the struggles that it seems
that ward and Tater having in terms of getting
on the same page and all that stuff.
And I guess it was at least somewhat encouraging
that Sala was basically said once the real game start,
we're gonna be scheming him up touches.
Which I think is like, it's a real deal
that they don't really scheme that much in preseason.
It's all pretty vanilla.
I'm less betting on carnaltate is bad
and I'm not betting on I don't trust Kim Ward.
- Just this offense is probably like a very low ceiling.
- I have been concerned by how sloppy
the Titans offense looked in limited preseason.
- Kim Ward threw for 186 yards of game last year,
30 second in the league.
- I'm just, it's not a very good--
- Is that good?
- Yeah.
- He threw for five yards more than Philip Rivers
per game last year, Kim Ward.
- Ooh.
- God.
- Philip was slinging it.
- Literally older than twice his age, Kim Ward.
- No, close.
- Not quite.
- Almost, he's a grandpa.
- Yeah.
- And that one.
- Literally grandfather.
(laughing)
- Oh my god.
Also, that nighter's close game was so much closer.
I know that's a random thing to say.
Philip Rivers almost beat the nighter's a mud enough of a ball.
Like that almost happened.
- Hunk still got it.
- Is he playing this year?
- He's still working out.
- Dude, he's playing with his kids in the back yard.
- He's like, "Actually, I'm good.
I have my insurance now.
I can still play with him."
- He's gonna come back in the play now.
- And he'll be like, "Do you know how much it costs
to ensure 10 children?"
- No, actually.
- What's that word?
- I don't know.
- Yeah.
- Can you get a group discount?
- Yeah, it does that word.
- Like a bulk, buy and bulk.
- Can someone explain those insurance?
Tell me how to do it?
- That's the whole Lakers thing.
I clearly don't know how insurance works.
(laughing)
- Some day I'm gonna have to have you explain to me
that you'll Lakers thing in like I'm a five year old,
'cause I don't know.
- The Rich Paul studio's right over there.
- Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- All right, who's up?
- DJ.
- Chris, like moving on.
(laughing)
- No, I agree.
- This one to me is--
- The warriors would never--
(laughing)
- This one is more of an emotional pick for me,
and I'm just, I don't wanna do this again.
What's whoever he's on my Do Not Draftful is,
he's on my Do Not Keep list.
I'm not gonna go anywhere near him.
Brian Thomas Jr. for the Jaguar.
- Radioactive to you.
- Radioactive.
Talk to him.
- What does Do Not Keep list mean?
- Like, don't use my keeper or whatever, any round.
- Any round, okay.
'Cause I think I have it on one league.
- You wouldn't use it as a 16th round pick on him?
- No, I don't think I--
- That's not fucking true.
- I don't think I would.
- No, if you have other options,
that's fucking insane.
- That's awesome.
- No, I actually do believe that.
I think I would be like, I'll just do something else.
- You'd be like, I'll just try Cyrus Allen.
- Yeah, I'll take Brandon Aubrey as a kid.
- That's fucking cool.
- I just don't wanna live that life again.
He ruined my year last year.
- Good, stick to your guns.
- Like, he was supposed, it's like the Star Wars.
- You're supposed to be the chosen one.
(laughing)
- I have the high ground.
- I don't know.
To me, it's just like, I think he is another, again,
I think he will be a good player in the NFL.
I do think--
- He was, he's 1,400 yards.
- But I do think he fits into the highly volatile,
the deep threat guys that are running vertical routes
and rely on big plays and touchdowns.
And I don't really like having those guys in fantasy
unless they have a mind-melt connection with their quarterback
or the only person in that offense.
Like a DK McAf with Russell Wilson back in the day.
Like, that was fine.
But this, to me, there's so much hype about Parker Washington.
I think he's gonna get a ton of targets.
He's gonna be like the focal point of the offense.
You still have Jacobi Myers, who is a pro's pro,
super reliable, when he came over to the Jags,
their offense changed completely.
- The entire team changed.
- Yeah.
- But from like bottom 10 to top 10 offense.
- And then by the way, Travis Hunter is still there.
And I think he's been rotating in OTAs
and training camp and stuff with Brian Thomas.
And so there's a chance Brian Thomas doesn't even
play a full workload.
Like getting Hunter into the game
could come at the expense of Brian Thomas
and not Parker Washington.
Which I think it's not something I sort of accounted for
early on in the process.
So basically all I'm saying is it's an emotional thing.
It's nothing against him personally,
but like last year having him on my teams,
it was a disaster.
- He also could be one of those guys,
where if you have him on your bench
and he's like the fourth or fifth
wide receiver in your team,
he might just be impossible to know when to play.
And it's like the week he's on your bench,
he has a six year touchdown.
So you start him there and then he has two catches.
And you don't, yeah.
- I just love the idea.
He's like, I'll take Braylon Allen and Chigger.
- He's like I'll take the Dallas defense.
- Yeah.
- I'm good.
(laughing)
- I'm like, he's the epitome of let somebody else have him.
- I respect it.
- If he's good for your other team,
more power to you.
Like I just want him to be happy with you.
- The next guy I might do not draft list,
nothing against him.
I think he's a great guy, I love him as a player.
David Montgomery, who's now on the Texans,
has immediately become gross.
- Yeah.
- He was so awesome.
- I mean, he's become gross.
- He's become gross.
- Have you seen the Texans run?
- He has the Texans stink on him now.
It's gross now.
- Do you like getting hit three times in the back?
- Do you want me to tell you what gross is?
Here's, I'll tell you what gross is.
Yards per carry in 2025.
I'm going, this is team rankings.
Yards per carry.
Texans, 29th last year, Lions 7th.
Rushing touchdowns last year.
The Texans, 31st in the league, they had nine.
The Lions, 7th with 21.
Also Woody Marks might not be bad.
So I'm like, all right, so you're going from a top five
rushing attack to a bottom five rushing attack
and you're still splitting work.
Think I'm good.
Think I'm good.
- This is Hi-Fitz's guy.
- I understand what you're saying.
- Okay.
- I hear you.
- I hear you.
- He's my toxic, like a love.
Like, he talks is the wrong word, 'cause--
- He's a good guy.
- I love, I've always knuckles.
- Yeah.
- Knuckles, I've always loved--
- He's the Mary in the fuck Mary Kill.
- Yeah.
- Yeah, he really is.
- I, David Montgomery, I just-- - You should do fantasy
fuck Mary Kill for, like, categories that would be good.
- What?
(laughing)
- I have a thickest, like, Zico, you sick fuck.
- She warning Brian Thomas and teach once we can kill him.
- We know what he, yeah, DK would do to Brian Thomas,
my goodness.
- The, I'm trying to think--
- We should make us all right at the end of this episode,
'cause we each picked like three guys here.
We should do fuck Mary Kill for the R3 guys.
- Yeah, that's good.
That's actually, all right, we'll come back to that.
So, make your David Montgomery Kill.
- Is it just your heart or is there parts of your brain?
- I think, well, I think if this Texans offense of line
is better this year, then you're gonna be like,
oh, they traded a bunch of picks to have David Montgomery
lead the rushing offense for what might be the best defense
in the AMC, probably the best defense in the AMC.
And they're gonna just have a lot of possessions
and a lot of leads and he's gonna get a lot of volume.
And he's, I don't know, like, probably the latest running back,
you can get that could conceivably lead
the NFL in rushing, I'm not saying he could,
but like, I don't know, he's gonna get a ton of carries.
He's a classic dead zone running back
and like the kind of player that usually you don't take.
But he's kind of priced like 10 years ago,
David Montgomery would be ranked like 35th in fantasy.
And this year he's ranked like, I don't know, 50th or 60th,
depends what site you're on.
- He's going right below Jalen Waddle and Ameca Buka.
No fucking shot, am I taking David Montgomery?
- That is why I'm not gonna fight you on this.
I just love him as a player, but like I get what you're saying.
Like it's probably not a deal to take him there.
One thing that I just keep thinking about with this is
how many catches and perceiving yards does he have?
Do you think this year?
Last year the Texans ranked 27th in running back
receiving yards.
- Nick Chubb was there.
Woody Mark's also, who is like a big part
of our offense down the stretch.
I don't know.
I just think, I don't know where I land on this
because I think I do kind of like David Montgomery.
This year's just from a pure volume play
where he's going in drafts.
He's not on my, he is not on my do not draft list,
but I understand Craig's argument for sure,
and there is a stink on him with that Texans offensive.
And it's the run game.
- Even the jersey.
- I probably won't get him.
- He's in a jersey and I'm like, ah, you don't like the,
you don't like the Texans jersey?
I probably won't get him.
I probably won't draft him, but he's not my dog.
I just, you're breaking my heart, but you're probably right.

- So another player that's on my don't draft list,
and I felt this way before he got hurt,
but now I feel strongly, is Jeremiah Love for the Cardinals?
I thought he was like, he was the captain
of my don't draft list before cost.
- Yeah, you know, he's like a third round here.
- It was like, the third pick in the draft,
those guys usually play what, like Jeremiah Love, again,
the Cardinals played him in one pre-season game,
immediately got him injured with 14 touches.
So if you didn't have enough of an incentive
to protect this rookie running back in a year,
you're tanking to get a quarterback next year with baby Laflore and his stupid haircut,
which I'm going to mention every goddamn time.
Like I'm just saying, 10th coach hired at a 10 coaches in the cycle.
Is that bad there?
He just, it's just that bad?
We're all stopping to look at that.
Yeah, look at my. Michael Laflore.
Just Google Michael Laflore.
It's like, un-serious.
Oh, I don't think it's. Yeah, I mean. I guess.
That's fine.
I mean, like, is it less, is it less serious than McVeigh's hair?
Well, he should win some games.
Is it, is it kind of like the substation where every picture you see of him, it just gets
a little. Yeah, it gets a little tall.
Yeah, exactly.
Exactly.
But no, I just, in all seriousness, I just can't get Nate Hackett's running this offense.
The Cardinals are an abomination.
Jeremiah love.
They have Tyler Elgear.
Like. They're just, the Cardinals are an abomination.
They're an abomination, man.
Of course.
It's such an effective work.
He's in a high ankle sprain.
Yeah.
They just, like, everything about it's bad.
You can't force feet and touches now, because we're going to give him a high ankle
sprain.
And if he re-inches it, that. Yeah, they're going to swing back there.
And then he's going to get, like, six touches a game.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And I'm like, you have to bubble wrap this guy.
And also, they're going to suck.
Yeah.
And, like, anything that happens to him from Thanksgiving on, they're going to shut him down
for the season.
Like, I just. I want. This is a classic.
Everyone's going to be mad.
He's not going to get enough touches.
Then he'll get too many.
I just, I don't want anything to do with him.
There's no. I got him in one league because he. Because it was people. Or discord, shout out, or discord.
And it was other people who knew I hit Jeremiah Love, so he fell to the 60th pick, I think.
So that's like where I'd take him.
And he's probably going to go in the top 30 and I'm like, okay, so if he falls to 60, I'll
take him.
That's about what it takes.
I agree.
We can keep this one quick.
Xavier Worthy.
Xavier Worthy. There's just no world in which I draft it.
There's. Like, why would you want one of these?
I just don't.
Yeah.
There's just no world in which I see his name and I click on it.
Did you ever see, like, just prusing Amazon and you see some clothes and you're just like,
who would buy that?
That's kind of like how I feel when I'm drafting and I'm like, who would draft him?
I'm just not. I'm not ordering that.
I'm not ordering.
I don't want the brands, you know?
Yeah.
Worthy getting. The whole book and Worthy being. He's really fast, but he's really light and he might get hurt.
And then getting hurt, running into fucking travestial.
He's like, when you throw a paper airplane in it, like, goes to the left.
Near part.
There's like the videos of people with their RC plans and it takes off and runs into like
a telephone pole.
And I just feel like this is. This sounds really stupid, but I feel like Xavier Worthy, like, doesn't run normal routes
and catch normal passes.
No, he's a gadget player.
He has to try to tell everyone that he's a draft.
You never see him as like running a post and he caught it.
No.
Oh, it's a reverse.
It's a weird scream.
It's like diving into a crowd.
I'm getting hit.
You know what?
Ocean's 11 where there's like the big truck and the little truck and the RC and the little
one's winning and then he just goes and he's running.
So the little truck. Oh, the RC.
Yeah, every crossing route, he's getting rocked by his own teammates and I'm like, he literally
cannot stay healthy.
Also, when a receiver, a little guy has a shoulder issue.
That thing's popping in and out every time and it's like every time they land on it, you
got to. Like, he's supposed to. Like, it's just. Oh, my God.
You're in and out of the game.
It's shoulder issues are so annoying if you're already small.
Like, I just. I don't know.
Oh, yeah.
I think you're right.
Yeah, I'm with you on that one now.
Can I throw out another person that I want to talk this out with?
You guys I'm afraid about this one putting it on the list and I want to talk to you guys
if we should.
It's Basial Tutant for the Jaguars and I'm torn because I think of all the people
we're talking about.
I mean, I guess, close to the level.
I'm afraid of. But of all the people, I'm like, most afraid of like telling people, don't draft Basial Tutant
because Basial Tutant could be amazing because Basial Tutant could be the, you know, a great
running back for the Jaguars and Jaguars could win 14 games or Trevor Lawrence plays like
he did down the stretch and he could be getting all these Travis H and Touches last year.
And so I don't want to be like, don't draft Basial Tutant, but I want to be honest that
I never end up with Basial Tutant.
There might be a. There may not be a riskier player at where he's come.
Like he's going above Jadarian Price who is a first round pick for the defending champions.
Wait, that's kind of crazy when you think about it.
That summarizes my feelings completely.
Jadarian Price is probably definitely going to start for the Celux in week one of the season
for the defending champions.
And yeah, and Basial Tutant who is a fourth round pick is going higher.
And I look at Tutant.
And I'm also. By the way, I didn't really do anything as a rookie.
His signature highlight last year, Tutant, was catching a screen when he went to
the wrong way.
Like he'd even do the playwright.
He had 300 yards as a rookie.
And that's the. And so I look at this and I'm afraid because he's fast, he's unbelievably fast.
He's really exciting.
And then the other thing is he reminds me of Colston Lovelin.
I thought I was going to be the highest person in Tutant this year.
And I'm like, oh, Tutant's going to be in that like Blake Corm range.
She'll be the 70th player.
I was sitting on Bill's Potter.
I'm like, all those types of guys, the value's been stripped now.
I think. Yeah.
I do think of like all of the aggregate rankings, like all of those sleeper types are
really inflated.
Like, well, I saw Joanne McFarlane, my fantasy, like he's a great analyst about all this
stuff.
And he said, like basically this profile of player, a second year guy who didn't really
do anything his first year, but could have a starting role with a team, that profile
usually goes like through a four rounds later.
Yeah.
Like he is being pushed. He's the RB25.
That's what I don't understand.
It's overall.
So that he's going in like the six-ish round.
Or higher.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And that's just what I just do not understand about Tutant.
So I don't want to tell other people not to take them, but like I'm not going to end up
with Tutant anyway.
Because again, Basial Tutant, it's not that I don't like him.
He's exciting.
But Basial Tutant's going above Jalen Waddle and Mecca, Buka, Swift, Drake, May.
Yeah.
Joe Burrow.
He's going 48th.
Is that what he said?
Basial Tutant is going 48th on them.
What?
He's going 48th if you look at Fantasy Burrows.
Yeah.
Imagine if I could go back to the end of last season and tell you that next year, Basial
Tutant will be drafted ahead of Drake, May.
It's as if he had a whole season last year that was erased.
Like I don't know.
I don't know.
I don't know.
I don't know.
I don't know.
He is a, you're either first or who cares?
Well, type of pick.
The argument for him is Bucky Irving.
Yeah.
Yes.
That is the argument for Bucky Irving two years ago in Tampa Bay with Liam Cohen, who's now the coach
in Jacksonville.
Bucky Irving was a third-round rookie who exploded in the offense and looked fantastic and was immediately, like, holy shit.
That's the argument.
I think this is a good, smart to bring up.
Good note.
And he is priced way higher than this type of player typically is.
And maybe that's just because it's a weird season or whatever.
Maybe we just have a ton of faith in Liam Cohen.
I personally am excited if I get to it, but he is a risky pick at where he's going.
Yeah.
So that's all.
I mean, the Christian River gets to go in a hundred picks later.
Maybe it's wrong, and it's going to be amazing.
So that's my fear.
But anyway, are there any other players you think of?
Kyle Pitts is like a free space.
He doesn't even count.
Yeah.
The Kyle Pitts thing is funny.
I was talking to Craig about this.
At some point, you just have to have some self respect about this whole thing.
There's a really famous funny-ass bit by this comedian, James Donald Forbes McCann.
I think he's New Zealander or James Donald Forbes McCann.
Look, look what I think he's a Kiwi.
That sounds like a law firm.
And he has this bit where it's like.
He's Australian.
Australian, sorry.
Fool me once.
Shame on you.
And he does this whole thing.
I'm not even, I'm not going to do it any justice.
He goes, fool me twice.
Shame on me.
Fool me three times.
Twice is much shame on me.
I can't believe I allowed you to fool me again.
And then he keeps going.
Fool me four times.
Shame on you.
You're picking on a vulnerable man.
What, where are we at on Kyle Pitts now?
Because I think it's fool me five times.
No, this is going to be six.
Shame back on me.
I may be a vulnerable man, but at some point you have to take personal responsibility.
I'm not going to be fooled for the fifth time or six.
Six, six times.
No, third time's the charm in the second time.
I think the six.
I think the fool me six time is like, you falling into my trap.
Or something.
I don't know.
But anyway, great big.
Go look it up.
It's fucking hilarious.
But that's how I feel about Kyle Pitts.
I'm like, how many fucking times are we going to do this?
I can't.
At some point you have to take personal responsibility.
I'm glad you asked.
We're not even halfway done.
This is your six.
He's going to play 31 years old.
He's only 21 years old.
We're almost halfway done with the Kyle Pitts.
It is 25.
What would it be funny if he had six touchdowns?
Because he said three, four, five, six.
It would be funny if he just kept doing that.
There's a post right now on the subreddit of the R fantasy football.
And I just typed in Kyle Pitts's name.
And it's just a headline.
It's just a photo of anadarmus.
And it's like Kyle Pitts looking at me heading into the 2026 season.
Yeah.
Oh my god.
Okay.
Other players, not to judge.
I mean, I know we've talked about bad teams.
But I think the Browns, I'm not drafting the Browns.
I'm not getting sucked into it.
In addition to the obvious bad vibes.
Yeah.
I just think fantasy football to your earlier point.
You're going to like sign up to like tart.
If you draft Harold Fanon, who is the title I love for the Browns,
or Denzel Boston, or all these guys.
Next year, you could do it with archmaning or something.
That'll be cool.
And then that'll be a year too early.
2028, those guys will be good.
But the idea that you're going to turn on your TV in week one.
And you're like, oh my god.
I need to Sean Watson to complete a pass.
This man has the yips.
And then should door is going to come in four weeks into the season.
And you're going to be rooting for that.
You're going to feel like an idiot.
And at least Denzel Boston's sheep.
But I don't want those guys.
And also, we mentioned this on Bill's show.
But week nine on, the Browns are only outdoors.
And like, there are rarely times that are lower in fantasy football.
Then when you have an important matchup, you need to win.
And you're counting on like Harold Fanon to catch one pass.
In a lake effect Cleveland snow games.
And you're like, oh my god, she don't can't even stand up
because it's snowing or raining so hard.
I think it's like the homeless.
It's more like whether than like fucking Siberia.
I'd rather be playing a game in Siberia.
Yeah, it's like for real.
It's literally they are only outdoors from like,
week 9's not that like it's it's tired even November and December.
How do people live in Cleveland?
I can't understand it.
Okay, all right.
Well, well, it's the snow.
My brother's wife is from Cleveland.
Yeah, how dare you come after me?
How dare you, sir?
How dare you, sir?
I mean, it's probably beautiful in the summer.
Buffalo's got to have worse weather than Cleveland, right?
You think.
Well, they have the snow in for sure.
You would think that, but you're right.
Sorry, no, Cleveland.
No, as I said, Cleveland actually has the worst weather.
Green Bay?
Nope.
Okay, I love also it's cold every that's it who gives a fuck well Cleveland's got like we've
learned it's like eight feet of snow
Every year we look up what the lake effect is and then we always have a different answer
But no, I just don't want the Browns and then can we also just can't do a speed round here
I've just injured players that I don't think you should draft where some questionable things don't matter
You see the little Q on the on the draft board. You don't have 30 seconds to like look into it so you're scared
Alec Pierce I'm not taking he's trying to get back to practice this week again every video I see of that guy
He's limping. Yeah, Alec Pierce again. He's limping again
He postponed ankle surgery to get his contract
He's had the biggest contract of free agency signed it one minute into free agency
And then got ankle surgery a week later
Which if he wanted to play this season this is number one priority would have done that in fucking January
And there's nothing wrong with that, but it's not my problem. That'll be someone else's problem
Jordan Tyson sts receiver someone will take him but he's hamstring injuries out two months
I don't want to wait till Halloween for like a rookie receiver to come in someone's gonna cut him and you can pick him up later
And McCrye lemon on the Eagles maybe similar. Maybe I'm missing a huge value
I don't think he's gonna start for a couple weeks. He just lives on lemon. I've been terrible. Well the snake
He might be a lemon stealer sneaky might have dodged a bullet there. That is incredible
Uh, they knew what they were doing max. I I am not sure how he says last name looking good. He's gonna start right potentially
Yeah, the Steelers we're gonna do lemon and then they leaked it by accident
But I do the lemon again. He had four days of training. Can't pull does him string just return. So he's basically missed three weeks
Again, I feel like he's not gonna start for three weeks. Whoever drafts him gonna fucking cut him and you can pick him up. He'll be a waiver guy
Aaron Jones who's healthy but not for long and I just have done taking Aaron Jones. What do you know? I I've seen him play
I've seen I've just I've done it too many times
So I'm and then the real one I do want to talk about the guys is milk neighbors for the giants which is the last time you do not draft list
What's the latest on your boy?
I don't know the future. I think that because of the giants. He's not oh is the mentalist. No, no unlike some people
I
Just think that there's too much optimism of like well, he's back at practice. So he's fine and it depends heavily on your league
But I would not be using a sacramar pick him like neighbors
And again, he towards ACL. He had this miniscus clean up in May and it's not about the surgery had it's more that
The idea that he's having a range of motion issues
Seven months after a surgery which again that's supposed to return seven date like aging Peterson got ranged emotions like the seven hours after a surgery
Like you're supposed to get that between three hours after your surgery and in like a week
So and seven months in he had an issue and so he get the cleanup
But it's just the point is it's not as linear always with the recovery with the ACL and the miniscus. It's not like a clean injury
How late would he have to go or you'd start to think about drafting him?
Um, I would probably think about it if if neighbors was still there
Around like certainly around like chair my love Javonte Williams
Like I don't want those runny. I'd rather just at that point take the upside of neighbors, but I
I think right around Zay flowers. Yeah
Like that's I I don't like Zay flowers, but even came scatable in my takeover from Luke neighbors
And I probably would take neighbors like neighbors or sleuth or burdened. I'd probably take neighbors
But if the season starts neighbors just has any kind of setback. I feel pretty stupid. Yeah, I but the neighbor's thing is he's very
alluring just because of his
Talent what we see what we've seen from him. He's just a badass player
But it does feel a little bit like
We get one good report and we're like oh, it's fine
I'm like that's my issue. Oh cool. All right. He's good and I'm like it reminds me so much of Daniel Jones
We're like he can't get worse and the towards fucking Achilles a week later like the like the broken leg cannot get worse
And he tears his Achilles like neighbors has not from limping around the bases at a like silver celebrity baseball game
two months ago to
He's good. He's fine. He's fine. He's not he's not gonna miss any games and he hasn't played a month of healthy football in years
And that's the fear is like like his rookie or got a concussion. He's had chronic like a like a toe injury for like since LSU
Like it's been a lot of issues there
So I hate to be a yum yucker. I'm my own fucking like fate the best player on the Giants
But I just the idea that oh, yeah, just take me like neighbors ahead of like
Josh Allen Trey McBride George Pickens because he went to practice for a week
I'm like, I don't know the next 18 games that you're next to play than any of the preseason games, right?
No and nor should he but I just I'm just the idea that he's gonna make it through 17 weeks
I'm very dubious though, but that's like the shittiest fantasy analysis
There is is the coolest favorite player will get hurt, but like
I agree
So well on that lovely note
Fuck Mary kill Craig all right, so my guys I'll have to pick I guess I'll
I'm gonna remove London because I'm gonna assume that panics is playing and then we kind of like him
So I guess mine are carnelltate David Montgomery worthy
Again, this is just a fun exercise. I'm killing Xavier worthy have to
Metaphorically. Metaphorically. I hope he lives forever
Well, that's kind of like a curse. We could maybe I hope he lives as long as he wants to live right? Would you want to live forever?
We don't have to get into this okay, but I think
But it's a big question. I think yes. I think I would a lot of people are like fuck. No, and I'm like, do you know what dying is?
You're assuming something comes after I'm not I would I would
Yeah, I do I live forever this sweet release of death. I don't think I can die. I think it's the most obvious question in the world
Yeah, you should look at my forever, but a lot of people don't feel that way and that's totally fine. Um sort of like this like
movie trope where people who are immortal are just bored
Yeah, yeah, I'd rather be bored than dead
I love it. It's like I'll be exhausted. I want to die. I'm like
You don't rest in when you die like it doesn't feel like you're sleeping and then you get to wake up and be like wow, I'm rested
Again, I don't very potter source of stony giving. I hope heaven's real. Um, okay, I would
Oh, so I'm killing Xavier worthy
Oh, now I have Dave Montgomery or carnal tape. I would probably
I'd probably marry carnal tape and kill date. Yeah, wow you yeah, well, you killed two people
I'm just a sassy girl for eight. I'm like kill kill kill kill kill
fucking too much man. I would fuck carnal tape marry Montgomery. That's the right answer. Okay. Do you care? What about you?
Marriable guy I have forever. Yes, I do want to live forever. Do you want to live forever?
Yeah, I see 300 years. I'm fine to like take me that's that's enough. I'm come on ever
I feel like I would never get bored. I'm fine. I'll find new uh, I'll find new stuff to do take back up
I'll take it back up skateboarding being so bored that you're like kill me is crazy
boredom like I don't have my phone. I'm waiting for my elevator. I'm like kill me kill me
So I'd be dead forever. I was like, yeah, it's been like four hours on a plane not doing anything. I'm like actually. Yeah, I'm good. Yeah, I'm ready
I'll be dead fraternity forget
So I had a larvae. I had a larvae Brian Thomas
And who am I missing? Sorry, Colston leveling a larvae and Brian Thomas. I'm gonna marry Colston
That's the right. Yeah, long term great great prospects. I mean
You know, it's kind of more this year focused though
Oh, shit's this year. Okay. I'm still marrying Colston leveling. Okay. I'm gonna
As a fourth round pick. That's what we're talking about. Yeah, yeah, okay
I'm gonna kill Brian Thomas, I guess clearly and then since you said you wouldn't keep him in this
16th round
Okay, wouldn't keep Brian Thomas in the 16th round. Yeah, I'm gonna like see a little player. Yeah, somebody like if you were in an auction draft and like somehow the service was
like we'll give you five extra dollars to tip Brian Thomas. Would they do it?
Yeah, we'll pay you
He will fill up a roster spot but we'll give you five dollars. Just a roster clogger. Yeah. I'm like, ah, man
It's like the beginning of land man. It's like no, no, no, we pay you like we're business
So yours is going to be a combo of Metcalf and Pitman is one option. Jeremiah love number two two number three
Oh, I think I got to kill the Steelers fuck. Fuck Jeremiah love and married to no. He's gonna fuck. No, I want to marry the Steelers
That's kind of like boring and I think I got it
No, I would oh wow. I guess I'd married love
Fuck to and kill the Steelers
You got to marry love just thematically it seems to make sense. Yeah
Yeah, yeah, I think that's right actually. I think I would do the same
God, it's hard. Those are very different things that's running back some Steelers. It's one of the all-time games. It's good
Yeah, I'm exactly the right out works, but that's fine. Would you say I mean I understand
You never really know, but it like kind of still works. It still makes sense
You can just be like mornings evenings or night fucking very kill and you like kind of understand how to play it
What does evening mean to you like I'm like well afternoon tonight
No, no, I wouldn't do afternoon because I feel like that's the obvious kill
I think you do evening is like whoa
Afternoon is morning afternoon night. I think afternoon's easy kill. Yeah
Just automatically you don't even gonna ask the question so obvious you like to kill the morning he agreed no mornings are wonderful
No better feeling than waking up in the morning beautiful day. No early words maybe for you because he's
I'm fucking I'm killing early morning. I'm killing the morning like you're ideal morning like a nice morning
A nice afternoon in a nice night. I usually in the afternoon. I just want to take a nap. Yeah, in the afternoon
You're like fucking tired. It's like hot as fuck. Yeah, I'm exhausted. Nice. So what is evening to you versus night?
Evening's lovely is the sun is going down. It's like you're at dinner sure me. I need times. I need times
Evening what is the evening officially is it like five to eight nine five to nine night to you?
You're saying nine later nine to one. I am because I don't think in night
I think of like seven after seven seven down night to me is when it's dark. Yeah regardless of
at the time of day.
It's like once the sun goes down and it's dark at night.
- What time's it get dark here?
- I was gonna say that's the problem,
'cause it's obvious, but what about like day three?
- Right now the sun goes down like 7,7,30.
- Yeah, and it's pretty much like that all year, right?
Or is? - It's daily savings, but.
- Oh yeah.
- No, what do you mean?
- And like January.
- Well, there's less variation the further south,
further towards the equator you get.
- In January, the sun goes down close to five,
like five on the nose.
- Oh really?
- I didn't realize it was sad dramatic here.
- And then in the sun,
and the solstice is like eight, 10.
- What is happening right? I'm trying not to be rude.
But further, the closer you get to the equator,
there's less variation in how early it gets.
- Yeah, but even here, the delta is in June,
it's like the sun goes down at like nine, right?
- No, it's like 8,15, but yeah.
- Okay, but there's a three hour difference.
- Yeah.
- I'm just saying where I live,
it's like 4,30 in the winter,
it gets dark in 10 o'clock at night in summer.
- And it's like that here.
- Yeah.
- That's why I wanted to know the times with day eight.
- It's not back to the like, I'm crazy.
- So you think in the ranking of morning, afternoon,
evening, night, to me, afternoon is easily last place.
You're saying that's not the case.
- Well, I guess it depends on the day.
It worked over a week.
Is this Saturday, is it Wednesday?
'Cause you're right on a work general.
That's the whole time. - Saturday afternoon is great.
- Yeah, but you get one, maybe two afternoons
a week that you're like good.
- So we're talking about weeks.
- It's, it's general.
It's, you're living your life afternoon,
morning, night, or evening.
That's the general thing.
- I like afternoons.
- Over what?
- I maybe I'll kill morning.
- That's crazy.
- Nothing better than a nice morning.
- Well, but the whole thing,
you have the whole day out of you.
But if I kill the afternoon, I don't.
- I don't know.
- See to me, I'm like,
evenings are just better afternoons.
(laughing)
- They're like afternoons, but.
- Well, that's why you got to marry the evening.
- You're going to drink the afternoon.
- That sounds going down.
- Yeah, that's how you got married now.
- It's cold in hour.
- It's cold in hour.
- Yeah, that's the main thing.
- That's the main thing.
- So you're marrying that.
- So you're separating evening and night.
- Yeah, they're completely different.
- But there's four parts of the day.
It's easier.
Morning afternoon and night.
- I'm playing for Mary Kill's only three things.
- That's my dream.
- Do you even have an opinion on this?
Are you just riling it up?
- I thought afternoon was the easy omission
because it's clearly last.
But I guess here's what I'm trying to get at.
I feel like you're saying there's four parts to the day.
And I feel like the generally is there's three.
There's morning afternoon and night.
That just feels to me like,
those are the three parts of the day.
- Who said that?
- That's totally fine.
But the reason why I switched it to evening,
like a kind of a smaller category
because I think evening has a good chance
of beating morning or night.
I thought afternoon broadly didn't--
- See, everyone's killing afternoon.
- I thought so.
- That was just my call.
- My initial reaction was, yeah, I agree.
- Yeah.
- 'Cause most tired is hell in the afternoon.
- Yeah.
- I need to see Esther.
- I think of like one to five p.m.
I'm like, where's part of the day to me?
- Do you know what I think?
- On a Saturday, it's great, obviously.
But like generally.
- Yeah.
- You're like waiting to get out of school.
It's the hottest part of the day.
That's when you're the most tired.
Like generally, I would much rather have a nice morning
and a nice evening.
- And you're at work.
- You're at work.
- That's true.
I just don't know when evening begins and night ends.
- After work.
- It's like six to--
- So it's work to sundown.
- Yeah.
- Six to nine-ish.
- Yeah, I think that my issue, yeah.
I think the reason that I broke my branch
is to drink football season.
It's the same thing.
The sun mostly goes down when the work, I don't know.
It's like the work day ends and the sun's up down.
So it's like the same thing to me
for like one of the majority of the year.
- In the winter, the sun's going down at 430,
where you live, right?
- Right at the--
- Yeah, it's like five o'clock, it's just the darkest of the two.
- Yeah, I don't like what it says.
- Evening's like an out, but when work ends,
well, I don't know.
I got like 40 minutes till the sun's up.
- I mean, that's fair, but still, wouldn't you rather,
like generally, three to five or five to seven?
- Oh, five to seven, of course.
- That's evening.
That's my point.
- I think the problem, but yeah, no, I get it.
- Okay.
- We got there.
- We got there.
- You're leaving. - Yeah, whatever, fuck it.
- You had to pick three things to fit
in the Maryfuck kill category.
I thought--
- I just don't know why we're just like afternoon,
just like, you know what, doesn't matter.
- We all just agreed afternoon is clearly last.
I wanted to make it a difficult decision,
which is why I narrowed it to evening
to make it a harder decision, okay.
That was my point.
Trying to, I'm trying to concoct interesting dilemma.
- It's an interesting point you bring up though,
because evening and night, but there's morning,
it's just so you're getting six to six till like noon,
basically, that's a huge window of time.
- Yeah, you know, I'm thinking more traditional morning.
- Yeah.
- You're 10 a.m.
- Yeah, like your 8 a.m.s.
- There's single digits in double digits.
- 8, 9 a.m.
- Yeah.
- All right, anyway, can I, can I, can we,
we have to, we have to pace in respect for a moment.
- Okay.
- Dolly Parton's passed away.
- Damn.
- Yeah, this is real, this is not a bit.
I feel like the transition of where we just were,
seems like this was going to be a bit,
but it's not, she did not plan that game anymore.
- It's a tremendous loss for many communities,
including people who may have felt that she had it,
even as recently as a few years ago and thanksgiving, you know?
And so.
- Like hyphids.
- All right, be clear.
- No, seriously, legend.
Our wife loves Dolly Parton.
- Still had it till the end.
- Dolly's an Alzheimer.
- Yeah, eight years old.
- She has a book club or she had a book club
that would send books to us.
So Calvin, a lot of the baby books that we read
were Dolly Parton.
- No way.
- Really?
- Book club stuff, yeah.
- What a renaissance woman.
She's like, Loki just funded the Moderna vaccine.
- Yes.
- She's kind of like, which is just a wild.
- Through the first cloned sheep.
They named after her?
- Dolly.
- 'Cause it had, you know, a bosom.
- Dolly Parton's imagination library is what it's called.
- Dude.
- Shout out Dolly P.
- I know.
- They'll be sending free books to kids.
You can sign up for it.
- Have you ever been to Dollywood?
Would you go?
- Okay, I gotta go.
- I'm not gonna make a pilgrimage.
- Yes.
- That is my crass land.
That is my crass land, it's Dollywood.
- Is that my good right finger challenge?
(laughing)
- I'm like, thank you for picking up on it.
- Of course.
- Of course.
- Is my crass land, sir?
- Yeah.
- Yummy.
- Oh, look, they're little footballs.
Lays is out.
- The other thing, did we talk about the,
I mean, the NFL players going back to college
is the funniest thing ever.
I don't know how much I can add to this.
- I don't understand football.
- Nobody does that.
- It's being litigated by courts.
Courts are deciding who could play football.
- Nobody understands anything.
(laughing)
The college sports system is such a mess.
- Yes, yes, you ask about right now.
Half their roster is international
because they're just like, it's easier and cheaper
and we'll just do that.
They just got guys from Italy.
- They're so less bullshit.
I mean, what do we, these are pros
from Italy now instead of college players.
The whole thing's fucked.
- Sean McVeigh asked, said I feel like I took a freaking gummy
when he heard that the Browns players
are going back to LSU.
I do think the funniest thing in the world was,
- Look at the photo they use of him.
That's a sassy life.
- That's a crazy photo, underdogs it.
- That's a wild photo.
- I do think that the anecdote that the college
you link Kiffin staff was scouting NFL preseason teams
is the most unbelievable thing I've heard.
They're scouting the NFL.
- 'Cause the sky was on the Browns, right?
- Yeah, and there's another one in the States.
- Monkin said that he got a call from link Kiffin
didn't answer it and then it's named Dayquan Wright, right?
- Yeah.
- Guy who went back to, who went to LSU.
Monkin was like, I don't know why he called me
and now I do 'cause he literally was interested
in one of my players.
- It's just like the craziest shit.
You know, it's shut close to being said
on Bill's show like years ago.
He's like, they could just like have them be a pro team.
They don't have to tense classes or anything.
Just have a professional team where the jersey
is really happy.
- They just like, he's right.
- He's right from the NCAA and like SEC and Big 10
become just like two leagues that exist independent
of collegiate, you know, academics.
They still have the name Alabama,
but it's essentially just another pro league.
- Yeah, in our ideas.
- So it's a great of them going to a school.
- So speaking of college football, I have to,
so this one, this one blue, I don't think you guys have seen this.
But there is a 47 year old pastor named Justin Buzzard
who made a college football roster as a defense agent.
- Justin Buzzard.
- San Jose City College roster defensive end,
there's a 47 year old pastor who made the team as a defense event.
- San Diego City College?
- San Jose City College as a 47 year old pastor who made it.
- San Jose City College.
- It's a community college.
But regardless, there's a 47 year old man
who's on this list that is a defensive end.
- What is it called when you go back to college
as like an adult, you're like auditing a class
or something like that?
Is that what it's called?
- Anyway, that's what this reminds me of.
- He's a defensive end.
He played football growing up, but he thought an injury
ended his career in the '90s.
- This is a movie script just waiting to happen.
No one's going easy at all.
He said, "I'm not going easy on them."
That's the most important thing.
- He has children in his 20s.
In their 20s.
- Oh, I don't know if it's such a--
- He's a defensive end?
- That's a good movie.
It's like your kids playing,
trying to make community college football,
and then you try out with them,
and then you make it, and he doesn't.
That's like you were getting the John Green commercial.
Didn't your friend go out for it?
And then you were there, and then you fucking got it.
- He did. (laughing)
- This is integral to Craig lore.
- Yeah.
- You guys even know all the movies he said.
He's like, "Are you going fast in the fears?"
He's like, "I forget."
- I don't know.
- I can't remember.
- That's so, we don't have to be like that.
I'm not in a movie.
I'm like a tiny pixel in the background.
- He didn't know the name of multiple movies he's been in.
- He doesn't understand.
- Multiple movies.
- You don't understand.
- You're right, I know.
(laughing)
- That's correct.
- What movies are you in?
- No, I can't remember.
- I can't remember.
- Tom Bomdill over here can do anything.
And he just like, like, you can't give him the one ring
because he just forget he had it.
- It's just so dumb.
Because it sounds like I'm trying to be coy and cool.
And I'm like, I'm not.
I was like a pixel in a fast and furious movie
that I've never even actually seen.
I've never seen the frame of me in it.
- If I was in one of those movies,
I'd be bragging to everyone about it.
- As an extra in the background.
- Yeah, see, my brother's my sister loves that.
- I'd be stopping the barb of Georgia.
- I'd be stopping the cat at the end of the movie.
I feel like when it's, you know,
the lines are going up, you're like,
at the very end.
- I don't even think I'm in the credits.
I don't even know how to work.
- He hasn't checked.
- Which means you might be.
- I don't think I am.
- I don't think I'm in the credits.
- Anyways, what was the movie where you were dancing?
- Yeah, what was the movie?
- What someone was like an olden times?
- It's called Wild Knights with Emily.
- Oh, you remember it.
- Oh, now he knows.
- Okay.
- I am kind of in that movie a little bit.
(laughing)
- He kind of, there's like 30 seconds
from kind of dancing.
Oh my God.
Wow, okay.
Well, that was amazing.
We have more episodes this week.
Netflix, Friday, watch it.
Turn on Netflix, we'll be there.
Live, ring your fancy football.
Live draft with three of us.
Anything could happen.
Ring your people, Dave Chang, check that out.
(laughs)
Ring your people, Dave Chang.
(laughs)
Well, you know what?
When I'm like, I'm gonna do the live draft
and my friend's like, oh, like,
well, Dave Chang will be there.
They're like, what?
They're gonna be there?
So, you know, there you go.
Someone listening right now is like,
I'm not gonna watch.
And then I said, Dave Chang.
They're like, all right, I'll watch.
Sure.
Maybe.
I get it.
What else is this thing?
I don't remember.
You're thanking people.
We're getting ready to thank people.
We're thanking people.
And also, we have episodes during the season two.
So, if you're listening to this,
don't your draft, keep listening.
We do waiver episodes during the season,
help you add.
We do Sunday night recap.
So, we just quit once the season starts
and Craig goes back to acting.
Exactly.
Craig goes back to acting.
I'm like a guy on the Bengals.
Yeah.
Exactly.
The Bengals guy went back to college.
He should have gone back to USC.
But yeah, four episodes a week during the season.
So stick with us.
Thank you to, there's so many people now in the booth
'cause we're in studio.
But yeah, thank you to Cam.
Thank you to Nikhil.
Thank you to Austin.
Thank you to Chris.
There's CT.
I don't know.
There's a lot of people.
Chris CT.
Jack.
Yeah, there's a lot.
Thank you to Dali Parton.
Yeah.
Thank you, Lauren.
Lauren, Millennial Bangor.
Bangor, we are.
Bangor.
That's kind of fun.
Millennial Bangor.
We are rolling along.
Getting to the end of August, only a few more.
I'm going to pull out a classic.
Everybody knows this song.
OK.
It's from 2009.
This is an artist who I have no relationship with really.
Yet everybody knows this song.
Everybody loves this song.
He has other songs that are popular.
Incredibly catchy.
Lyrics mean nothing.
Any word could be in these songs.
It doesn't matter.
The song is down by Jason.
Oh, yeah, yeah.
Which is an absolute earworm.
It is a classic for people born in the mid 1990s.
Like, this is a high school.
It was just ever present.
Yeah.
I don't really put it on now anymore.
But when I hear it, I feel nostalgic.
That's a real throwback.
And it's not on throwback playlist.
But it's an instant.
It's not a beloved song, but it is still a classic song.
Can you sing it?
Because I can't--
It's down, down, down, down, down, down, down, down, down, down, down.
So my brother and his friends, they'd lipstick.
They'd be the lip sync they are high school.
And they won lip sync, and they did down at the end.
Yeah.
And it's like-- I don't know what the song is.
It's like the most basic.
It's like, I'd love you even if the sky was falling down.
But it's like the most-- you can just do anything.
We were joking.
We were joking a lot of the whole-- oh, it's fine.
Is the recession pop?
Someone called it, and they literally had the low-way in his line.
And he'd come down like the economy.
It's like, no.
But Jason, I have no idea what other songs he's ever made.
He had a song called 2012.
That was kind of good.
Do people were so obsessed with the world ending?
Yes.
That was the whole point of the song.
He was British, or is--
Jason's British?
Wow, didn't know that.
That's shocking.
He has a song called, do you remember that I vaguely knew?
I only-- you know the songs where you can't sing it
until you hear it again?
Yes.
Like, I know it.
I know I know it, but I can't think of it now.
No, I'm just thinking of it.
Do you remember, do you think I'd have--
Is that a Korean song?
Oh, yeah.
The Kanye samples that.
But it's, do you remember?
And then--
September is the song, dude.
Do you remember?
What's the Jason one?
I can't sing it, but I know I know it.
I'm not allowed to play it out loud.
But down is just-- down is a classic.
Down is like, you're having a high school rally.
And that's the song that's playing.
Is everybody's like shuffling into sit down in the bleachers.
It's very specific.
I definitely very much remember that song.
Oh, yeah.
I don't have a relationship with, like, yeah.
You ought to know everyone's just like, yeah.
The night is the night to let it go.
Like, all right.
Wait, so that song made Jason-- wait,
the first British act have reached number one in the US,
but not number one in the United Kingdom,
since Kiss from a Rose by-- wait, seal is British?
Yeah.
Oh, I didn't know that.
But then the other one, he said, best sung single by British
and European man in North America,
since candle in the wind by Elton John.
Wow.
Huh.
Huh.
Huh.
Huh.
Huh.
Huh.
Jason.
That song has a billion streams.
I was cashmoney records.
That's what Jay-Z's on it.
I mean, that's why Lil Wayne's on it.
Cashmoney records.
Wait, that's why Lil Wayne's on what?
Because Jason was like, cashmoney records.
That makes more sense.
I remember Kevin Rudolph, also a couple songs.
Kevin Rudolph?
Let it rock.
How's that go?
Let it rock.
Let it rock.
Let it rock.
You're all like the Lemoo-E-Moo song.
All these things.
You're single back then, man.
Lemoo, you know?
So tell you just say the same thing again and again, man.
Yeah, just really.
Liberty, liberty, liberty.
You could have given me 1,000 guesses
to whose sings that song.
And if you had Kevin Rudolph sitting on the floor,
you'd never--
My fucking life.
Oh, 100%.
I would have picked O's Dementilist before Kevin Rudolph.
I mean, Rudolph.
No, wait.
It smelled like that?
No fucking life.
Goodbye, everyone.

Chris Olave is avoided due to concussion history and contract clauses excluding injury guarantees for those issues.
The Steelers offense is avoided entirely, with low-ceiling players like DK Metcalf and Michael Pittman seen as unreliable.
Colston Loveland is overvalued based on a small late-season sample against weak defenses, making his fourth-round ADP too high.

Summary:
FAQs
The hosts are Danny Heifetz, Danny Kelly, and Crack Rollbick. They discuss players they are avoiding in fantasy drafts.
Drake London is on the list due to uncertainty at quarterback. If Michael Penix starts, London is a top receiver, but if Tua starts, his value drops significantly.
Chris Olave's injury history, including concussions and a blood clot issue, makes him risky. His contract excludes injury guarantees for those issues, and one more concussion could end his season.
The Steelers offense is seen as low-ceiling with a messy quarterback situation and a spread-out target share. Players like DK Metcalf and Jalen Warren are considered inconsistent for fantasy.
Colston Loveland is being drafted in the fourth round based on a small sample of late-season games against weak defenses. His targets could be reduced by Roman Dutton and Luther Burton, making his price too high.
Brian Thomas Jr. is considered volatile due to reliance on big plays and touchdowns. His target share may be limited by Parker Washington and Jacobi Myers, and Travis Hunter could reduce his workload.
