Texas GOP Smear Campaign Against James Talarico Faces Backlash
19m 32s
A widespread disinformation campaign has falsely claimed that James Tolerico, the Democratic candidate for the Texas Senate, was hospitalized at the Linder Center of Hope in Ohio. This claim is baseless—Linder Center explicitly denies ever having treated Tolerico, and Tolerico states he has never visited Ohio. A leaked phone call allegedly showing Tolerico’s name was found to be fabricated, with the operator confirming no such patient existed and the call containing AI-generated elements. The story was amplified by right-wing influencers like Nick Sorter and "Tickle Text," who used misleading narratives and AI manipulation to spread false claims. Elon Musk’s control over X’s algorithm amplified the disinformation while suppressing fact-checking accounts, such as alcomino, which identified the call as AI-distorted. The campaign appears designed to discredit Tolerico and silence debate, especially as he leads Republican candidate Ken Paxton in polls. Paxton has repeatedly refused to debate Tolerico, with Tolerico accusing him of cowardice and a "chronic case of clinical cowardice." The false narrative—centered on Tolerico’s absence during the Austin City Limits Festival—was promoted despite being contradicted by evidence, including Tolerico’s public appearances. The operation raises concerns about privacy violations, coordinated misinformation, and the role of influencers and AI in modern political disinformation. The real issue is not Tolerico’s health but the tactics used to suppress democratic debate and manipulate public opinion.
Let's debunk this mega-defamitory siop against the Democratic candidate for the Texas Senate seat, James Tolerico, where they claim that Tolerico has been at the Linder Center of Hope mental health facility in Ohio for a few weeks. And that's why he hasn't been on the campaign trail. When the reality is is that he's had the flu, the Linder Center of Hope posted a message that Tolerico has never been a patient of theirs. Tolerico stated, not only was he not a patient of Linder Center of Hope in Ohio, but Tolerico said, "I've never even been to Ohio." The Magistory makes zero sense at the most rudimentary level when they claim that he was discharged on October 10th when he was at the Austin City Limits Musical Festival. And you could see him with Casey Musgraves. They were photographed together. He was walking around the festival on that day. And this is all about the fact that Tolerico is leading the Maga Republican extremist and Trump Maga Stoog Texas AG, Ken Paxton in the polls. Even in the Trafliger, which is a right wing leaning poll, you have Tolerico up about three and a half percentage points and he's been increasing his lead. And Ken Paxton, the Maga Republican extremist candidate for that Texas sentencing, he is a coward. He is afraid to debate Tolerico. And Tolerico has challenged Paxton. Look, let's do a debate on Fox and Brett Baer can be the moderator if that makes you more comfortable. I know you're scared to debate in other formats. And Paxton is terrified to debate. So Paxton, Elon Musk, the right wing, Maga influencers, Trump, they came up with this plot against Tolerico claim that he was having a mental health breakdown, that he checked into the linear center of hope. It's all being exposed right now. And so after magas were all caught in the slide, they're like, it doesn't even matter whether he was actually there or not. What actually matters is, why did he have the flu in the first place? Or they're like, there's still a lot of questions that are left unanswered that we need to ask. So I want to break down the anatomy of this defamatory sigh up. So you understand how the Maga influencers work with Elon Musk, how they plan this, how Musk uses his algorithms to push these lies. And one thing that I find very notable as well is that yesterday there was the Ukrainian strikes that took place on the data centers in Russia. And so a lot of the bots that I think were going to be utilized for this operation were actually disabled. So I find that noteworthy as well. So let's break this all down. So there is a Maga operative named Rhine Amaker. Rhine Amaker, he's a political Maga, extremist, propagandist, bad faith operative. That's how he's known. I mean, just look at what he really looks like and then look at his profile photo. So Rhine Amaker, he's involved in this plot. Then there's an account called Tickle Texts, I kid you not. A major Maga influencer, tickle text. Not to be confused with the other major Maga influencer who interacts with Don Jr. and Trump all the time. Cat turd, no, this is tickle text who uses what appears to be a clearly AI photo of her. I think it's like 96% positive that it's an AI photo. We think this is what she really looks like. This is the photo. This is what she really looks like. So a little bit ago you had tickle text saying that there was this private jet, Cessna that left from Texas and went to Ohio. And so she speculated or put out the first kind of false flag if you will in my opinion. Toleriko is on that plane, he's heading to Ohio. Then they started to try to find a location that they claimed he would be in Ohio. It's like a random area to pick. Why wouldn't Toleriko go someplace in Texas or given the stakes? If that's really what was happening, like why wouldn't he have somebody visit him at a hotel or where he would, why would he go to Ohio? It's like the, but part of the lie, as you all know with Trump is the big lie. Just tell something so crazy or outrageous that people would be like, who would make up that Toleriko would be on a Cessna jet heading to the Linder Center of Hope in Ohio? Like who lies about that? MAGA, they lie about everything. So then what we learned is that Ryan Amaker then made a phone call 'cause he published it a snippet of this phone call to the Linder Center of Hope. He published like one minute of it. Turns out the phone call was actually over six minutes in length and the actual phone call. He apparently, this Ryan Amaker calls Linder Center of Hope and repeatedly says, is James Toleriko there, is James Toleriko and the person on the phone is like, no, we don't know what, never heard of that person. No, no, no, no, no. Keeps on asking and then finally, it seems like who is ever on the line in order to get Ryan Amaker off the phone, didn't know who this was. Says, I think somebody was discharged today or I think somebody was just discharged. Well, that day would be the same day that Toleriko was that Austin City Limits Music Festival. So it didn't make sense at all. And also the operator or the person who picked up the phone from Linder Center of Hope had already said, no, nobody's here by that name, nobody's here and then also it would be a major hip avialation to disclose anybody whose actual presence is there. Also, Linder Center of Hope uses a specific code that you have to give the operator in order to find out if somebody's there, it's a private confidential code in order to comport with HIPAA requirements. And then there was also allegations that were raised by somebody on social media when they heard the snippet of the phone call that was released by Ryan Amaker, that this was an AI-generated phone call or part of the phone call was AI-generated. And there was an account on X called alcomino and alcomino posted an analysis that the portion of the phone call that was released appeared to be AI-generated or AI distorted in the phone call. And then Elon Musk banned the suspended the account alcomino, the account that called out the phone call between Ryan Amaker and allegedly Linder Center of Hope's operator, the guy who called it out as being an AI phone call got suspended from X by Elon Musk. So Ryan Amaker then makes this post, big breaking news, I've got the exclusive scoop, James Tolerico is there, it's being confirmed, so he posts it. He tries to pitch the story we've learned to the daily mail and to the blaze. And both of them would not run it because there was all these red flags and that this seemed like a completely fabricated story. So they refuse to run it. So who runs it? Maga propagandist, Nick Sorter. Now Nick Sorter is a guy no matter what Donald Trump says or does, oh my God, how amazing is Donald Trump? Oh my God, he's the most amazing. Look how powerful he looked. Oh wow, look at the crowd of million people. I mean just a total loser, a total hack, just a mega extremist propagandist, zero credibility, that's how not a journalist and Ryan Amaker, not a journalist. And I'll talk about this a little later in the video when they were called out by Linder Center of Hope, people like Ryan Amaker, like I'm not a journalist, I'm an operative. So I have different journalists, I don't have to go by journalistic standards. On the topic of breaking news, what if I told you picking the wrong Medicare plan isn't just a money problem. It could take years off your life. That's not a guess. I just saw this study out of Yale that shows how picking the wrong Medicare plan can really affect your lifespan. Make sense when you think about it, a plan can sound fine or look good on paper until you actually get sick. When health issues arise, it matters how easily you can access the care that you need. And not all plans are created equal. Even if a plan has a few doctors in network, that doesn't mean they will be able to see you when you need it the most. That is why you need to talk to chapter. Chapter is the only national Medicare advisor that compares every plan nationwide. They look at your providers, your prescriptions, and what matters most
you and your situation to help you find the best plan for you. If you're already on the right plan, they'll tell you. If not, they'll help you fix it. Your Medicare plan shouldn't be the thing standing between you and your best possible life. Call chapter today at 82 Medicare. That's 82 Medicare. So Nick Sorter takes Ryan Amiker's post and then repackages it as a story and then all of the right wing magaverse, all of them one after another post post post post post post all of them flood the zone as and this was all coordinated up as though this was the real story so they all post post post then Elon Musk starts responding to all of it and he amplifies it. There's a lot of questions about Tolerico and he controls the algorithm on X and reporters live on X that's like their place, you know, it's still a place where they get a lot of their news from and that algorithm is a very powerful algorithm in terms of publishing news despite how we know it's Elon Musk puts his finger not just on the scale, he smashes the freaking scale and so he pushed that out and all of the accounts that were promoting this anti Tolerico defamatory message, all of those accounts were getting amplified. All of the accounts that were calling it into question were getting suppressed or in the case of the one account that did the analysis that part of the call that was being put out was AI, that account gets suspended. So we'll put that out there as well. So then let's talk about what else happens, you know, afterwards Linder Center comes out with a statement or they say this never happened, he was never a patient, Tolerico comes out with a statement saying I've never even been to Ohio yet alone that statement and then Tolerico calls out Paxton for being afraid to debate. So Paxton is on state regime media, which calls itself Fox last night and then they ask Paxton, they said, so are you ready to debate and Paxton is like, well, you know, Tolerico keeps on changing the specific details. So we really can't agree to how this should really go down. And then Tolerico's responses, the details are whatever you want, you pick the location, I'll debate you there, you pick it, I don't, whatever, whatever rules you want, wherever you want to do it, just let's go and have a debate and Paxton refuses to it. Watch what this is all about and you'll see Paxton on Fox making an excuse why he can't debate as Tolerico calls him out. Let's watch for yourself here, play this clip. President Trump, he called you guys out, said you all should have a debate and talk about the issues, contrast between your policies. Is that in the works? Are you, are you requesting one with him? Are you working on the details with one or do you think that doesn't need to happen? Well, no, look, we've been working on that for months with him, and of course, we can never quite work out the details because he always wants something we can't do. So reality is the big story is the fact that he was missing from the campaign trail. I know that he'd love to change the topic to debates. Now, just so you recall James Tolerico previously put out a statement, made a phone call to Paxton, because Paxton for what, over 85 days, more now has refused to debate Tolerico. So a few weeks ago, Tolerico made a phone call to Paxton and said, look, I'll debate on Fox with Brett Baer. I want you to watch what that looked like here. Let's play this clip. This person is not available. If you would like to leave an additional message, please reply after the tone. Hey, Ken, it's James. I'm calling to invite you to a debate on Fox news. Texans start voting in less than a month, and they deserve to hear from both of us before they do. I've accepted four local TV debates, but we haven't heard from you, and we're running out of time. So if Fox news is where you'll be most comfortable, I'll be there because I think it's that important. Brett Baer can moderate, we can both take questions, and Texans can hear from us directly. So give me a call back, and I look forward to hearing from you. Now he has a voice mail from me. And then yesterday, Paxton was doing an interview, and Paxton said, you know, I think that, sorry, Tolerico did an interview, and he said, I think that Paxton has a chronic case of, you know, just being a coward. I think that it's a very mysterious, it's a chronic case of cowardice. And watch what Tolerico said about Paxton here. You can hear for yourself. I've heard credible reports that Paxton has a serious medical condition that causes clinical levels of cowardice. It's why I haven't heard from him after 85 days when I first challenged him to a debate publicly. And I think people are concerned. And I think media is asking questions, and social media is asking questions, and so I think we should all look into what condition, what condition, yeah, I think it's really good for us all to figure out what condition can Paxton may have that's preventing him from debating. And in all seriousness, you know, the people of Texas deserve a debate between these two candidates. Before a big election, a critical decision. Fox News has said that Ken Paxton should debate President Trump has said Ken Paxton should debate. The people of Texas have said Ken Paxton should debate. And so we're awaiting his answer. He has asked for proof of life from me. I'm asking for proof of spine from him. You know, and it's interesting too, because I saw this photo of, you know, the same people holding the remember the MAGA influencers who showed up, who tried to do the op about like the Epstein files. Remember what was it like February of 2025? Like we got the files. We got him from Bondy, right? And it's like someone did a joke. They're like, we got the, we got Tolerico's medical records. We got his medical record. Oh, look, if Ryan Amaker or anybody called the medical facility lied about who they are, didn't even lie, took somebody's medical privacy. It's a serious crime to do that to begin with. It's a serious violation of HIPAA. It's a violation of multiple other privacy laws in Ohio. So it's possible crimes were actually committed here as we're committed here as well. But you know, just even watching how people are reacting afterwards, like there was a conversation that took place on X where they have that feature where there's where where where everybody kind of chats and can talk to each other. And I want to show you what they were saying over here. Listen to this as even the people who were now caught peddling the lie. Well, it doesn't even matter if it's true or not. All that matters is why was he not there with the flu? Why was he out with the flu here? Play this clip. And Ryan, thanks for breaking the story. Whether it's true or not, people deserve to know the potential of this. I mean, what do you mean whether it's true or not? It is true because Ryan. And then Andrew Colvellt, one of the people spreading this goes, it genuinely doesn't matter if it was a mental health hospital or the flu, bailing on the biggest job interview of your life by disappearing for two weeks is enough all by itself. It's like, okay, you're just completely changing the like what what you said right here. Yeah, the message from Tolerico, I've never been to Ohio, Linda Center hope, representative James Tolerico has never received treatment from the Linda Center of hope. And so, you know, I could keep going on, but I think you get the point of what this fabrication was all about. That's how they operate. And it's just all about Paxton to scare to debate. That's what this is all about. Thanks for watching. I'll get your copy of WTF America, the way out of this hell and back to democracy. It comes out in a few days. It's dedicated to you.
