Tanya Class 8- Chapter 6 &7 (part one)

Vieti vois Todayu keinkain't! telefonkals, no texts, before, the phone calls, no seeing if someone opened your message, you called, they answered, or they didn't. And that was the whole situation. -Mom would have to be, "Ah, leave a message for myself." -Oh my gosh, the idea behind those whole argument is that younger generations have grown up in a world that's so connected, that it can actually feel more isolating. If that makes any sense, every notification keeps you plugged in sometimes, plugged in the wrong things, and then there's something about having been bored, like genuinely bored as a kid, with zero options, they kind of made you closer with people. -Yeah, I remember being over at my friend's house in elementary school, and we had no idea where we were gonna do that day, and even just planning it, right? You're saying, "Hey, we have a play date Friday after school, and we wouldn't have to confirm over phone call or text call." -No, you just showed up hoping that they would remember. -What's a memory from before smartphones that just would not exist if you had grown up today? 702, 364, 9400. I, you know, it's just looking at it. I remember plenty of things from childhood that weren't cute at all, but it's like the kind of specific memory I carry from before. All of this, like, for instance, I was thinking about this last night. I used to, my friends and I had this thing where we would three-way call each other -Did you ever have three-way call? -Oh, that was the bed. Then they got even more advanced four-way. -Oh, I never had four-way. We had three-way, and we would call each other after school, and I would be on the phone for hours, and we weren't even talking the whole time. Someone would be doing their homework. Someone would be watching TV. You could hear the other person's mom yelling in the background. Like, it was just being together on the phone at 13 years old. There's no air drop, there's no Facebook, there's no Instagram, and we just wanted to exist in the same space. It just made me so happy. I knew only, no, don't explain that to Brooklyn, what that felt like. She's like, "Why would you just sit on the phone?" And I'm like, "I just felt close." -Yes, you were still there, and it didn't matter if they were present or not. It's just knowing that that company was on the phone. -Exactly. We're getting some texts. This one says, "Calling a friend's house and their mom answering." And you have to actually make a conversation. conversation with her before you could talk to them. That was a whole skill set. Now, Hi Mrs. Grant, how are you? Is Amy there? Like, oh my gosh, I remember that. Like it was yesterday. Chris, good morning. Good morning. How are you? Hey, good. What is a feeling or a memory before smartphones that would not exist if you had grown up today? Yeah, so we were watching the Olympics during one summer and we actually held our own Olympics. My dad pulled out a mattress. We made some hype. We made a high bar. We did the high jump. We did the long jump. We did all sorts of races down the street because I grew up in Wyoming. We didn't have open streets, right? So it was pretty amazing. That sounds like the funniest thing ever. I, and the Olympics used to be such a big deal. You would have to watch it at seven o'clock that night. No matter what, like it, it already happened. Yeah, but you didn't know. You can't watch it later. There was no clips to see unless you watch the news. Oh my goodness. It's high. This one says my best memory is being at the pool all day with no way for my mom to reach me. I had to be home by dinner. That level of freedom does not exist anymore. Oh, Vivians and ring cameras. Uh-oh. So this is such a time. It's mix 94.1. Welcome to another episode of Mercedes in the morning. And now here's your host Mercedes. Good morning. And welcome to the show. It is Wednesday, May 13th at a 602. It's nice for being here with us. It is so nice to have you here. Bitted to the midweek. School is almost out. Yeah, it's coming up. My daughter. She's taking a P test. She had like two in a row yesterday. How did that all went down after that whole canva thing? Oh, man. They were okay because they were back online before they went to school the next day. But yesterday she had one from like eight to noon. And then she had one from like noon to 240. She had to stay after school to finish. Yeah. So it's that time of year. It's just crazy. Things are kind of winding that winding down and it can't believe that summers around the corner. The temperatures would say otherwise. Summer summer is already here. And this kind of like I saw this video. And just speaking of like summer and hot cars. It kind of grossed me out. But has anyone has anyone heard of car ranch before? No, what is do you know a car ranches? What is car ranch? I had never heard of this phrase before. And now I can't stop thinking about it. So this mom on Instagram. She's going viral because she she discovered her 17 year old daughter has been quietly maintaining what can only be described as a like a condiment survival kit in her car. And I have so many questions on it. Here's what she said. So we were having dinner and my 17 year old daughter says to me there's no ranch. And I said I'm sorry. I guess we're out of ranch. She gets up and she walks out of the house. And she walks right back in. I just remember I have car ranch. I said what are you talking about? Why do you have ranch in your car? She goes well when I go to Chick-fil-A I just get extra packets of ranch and I just keep them in my car. So she keeps. What are you keeping your car for in case of an emergency? I'm not talking about jumper cables or spare tire. Like it's your personal emergency 702-349-400. So she just ate it. I said how long has that ranch been in your car? She's like I don't know months. I said you can't eat months old branch from your car. There's dairy in ranch. She says it's fine. They're already in these packets. So it means that they're fine. I said don't you know what does that mean? That means we live in Florida. And that is a recipe for explosive diarrhea. She goes it's fine. Open that up. Don't eat. What? Do your kids have car ranch? Does anyone have car ranch or what's your version of car ranch? I was like thinking okay that's Florida. So very similar but climate like heat wise. But they're they even have that humidity to deal with. So that to me just that screams bacteria and stuff like oh my gosh do you have something equivalent to car ranch in your car right now? What's in your emergency kit? Mine's kind of boring like I have tied to go or like extra poop bags for momel. But there is a spiffing a memory I have with my friend. She has a construction cone. She stole from the side of the road and she put it in her trunk in case she needs to save her parking spot. Oh my gosh that's actually very brilliant. Yes brilliant buddy legal but I thought it was funny because when you open up her trunk it fills up those whole thing. It's not those construction cones that you would get out Walmart for like your sports teams. It is seriously a big old construction cone that fills up her old. Oh my gosh that is funny. Yeah we don't condone the stealing but I do think that's kind of brilliant. You want to save that parking spot? We just got a text here. They have car bingo dobers. You never know when you'll stop to play casino bingo. Yeah you want to have those prepared ready to go. My question is do they dry out though? Being in your hot car that would be the thing. My car emergency kit I have car breathments. I have car gum. I have car dental floss and car straws. Oh it's smart. There's been like so many times where I got a drink and like they either forgot the straw. I didn't give me one and I'm like ahh and I don't want to drink it. So I have my emergency kit kind of boring but just very reasonable. I did learn the hard way that car chapstick is a terrible idea. Oh yeah. I used to have my my my birthspeeds in my little console in the center of the armrest and it just completely melted. There was just like wax everywhere. The heat here does not play so that was a bad idea but I just thought that was so interesting. We're getting some more text. This one says my husband has car hot sauce like six packets of Taco Bell fire sauce rubber banded together under the sea. He calls it his emergency flavor kit. That is funny growth because I just can't think anything that it would go into this vagus heat. That's just so funny and this one says my teenager has car chick filet sauce multiple packets. I found them during a car wash and she looked me dead in the eye and said those are my don't touch them. Oh my gosh no one plays about the chick filet sauce. What about if there's like a hot sauce in a glass bottle. Do you think that would sustain? That's a tough one. I mean I think for a limited amount of time you got to look at the bottle and say does it require refrigeration. Ah you know but the packets you do have a little bit of time I think on those. And the packets won't melt in the sun. No. I think at least for a month you're fine. Anything after a month and then and now. Oh my gosh I had no idea you guys kept all this stuff. This one says my son has car ranch and car catch up. This says not car ranch but I do have car worthers. My coworker laughed at me until she needed one. Nobody's laughing now. Car were those butter scotch candies. That's amazing. Wow. That's a rapper. Probably such a big daddy right now. We've got so much coming up on the show this morning. Don't go anywhere. Your chance to win tickets to see no doubt in the nine o'clock hour at nine a.m. We're going to reveal the day or the no word keyword. And when you hear it you'll text it to two zero three five seven for your chance to win tickets to see no doubt at the sphere. And coming up next we have what's trending Taylor Swift were a little black dress to dinner and now fans think she's dropping clues again. Meanwhile the Kansas City chiefs tried to lean into the Taylor hype and their face and backlash that's coming up next in what's trending. Taylor Swift is trending this morning. So she wore a little black dress to dinner in New York and somehow the internet immediately launched a full investigation. You would think it would not be a big deal right but she was out with her mom Andrea and her brother Austin and she was wearing this sparkly black Valentino mini dress and Swifties instantly started connecting dots because no one believes that Taylor wears anything random anymore. They all think there's some message behind every outfit she picks. So some fans think the black dress is teasing reputation. Taylor's version. Other fans think this goes way back to the song Tim McGraw. It turns 20 years old next month. 20 years. Well that feels fake. I still remember hearing that song for the first time on country radio. And this is our first single right. So they're saying that this could be pointing to Taylor's version of debut coming out. Who knows address equating to a new album. I've seen I've seen stranger things but I guess there's a line in this song that talks about her wearing what you think happiness. I hope you think of that little black dress. So we'll see also Taylor's football era is causing some chaos right now because the Kansas City chiefs they just dropped their schedule release video and somehow managed to anger both the NFL fans and Swifties at the exact same time. So they made this entire Taylor inspired sourdough bread video with baking jokes and clues about opponents hidden and loaves of bread because I guess Travis talked they talked about this on on his podcast about how she lives to make homemade sourdough. Well, football fans hated it. I mean, look at the comments people were calling it embarrassing and cringe and the worst schedule reveal ever. Do you know the actor Eric Stone Street? Yeah, from modern, is it modern family? I think so. Yeah. So he even, he even said that it was the worst thing ever and that he, the team should let the chargers handle next year's reveal. Chargers have a really good social media. Man, I was just like, wow, people were really upset. It's becoming this weird thing now where every time Taylor gets connected to football, people immediately split into two camps, you know, some people think it's fun. Some people hate it. And I, I think she's brought some new eyes to the game, but the football purists, they, they just don't like it. I get it because you're loyal to the soil, whatever. But I think it's funny adding in all these things from Taylor. So did you see some of the posts of the sourdough? Yeah, I thought it was funny. I thought it was in good fun. But did you read the comments on them? Oh, the two fans are not amused about it. That's too bad because I think it's cute that they're mixing the two worlds together. Well, and it's bread. Who doesn't like bread? You Oprah loves bread. That's bread. That's what's true. Mix 94.1 home for Sadie's in the morning. You're about to become really annoyed because the second I say this, you will instantly picture a moment where someone tried to pull this on you. So you're standing in a long line. Maybe it's Disney. Maybe it's TSA. Maybe it's Starbucks at the airport. Your gate is morning in seven minutes. You've been waiting forever. Okay. Inch by inch, respecting the system. And then suddenly here comes someone weave in through the line going, excuse me. Excuse me. My family is right up there. Excuse me. And now you're doing the math in your head. Okay. You're like, wait a second was one person holding a spot for one other person. Did someone go for the bathroom? You know, what's going on here? Because people are really divided on what counts as acceptable line saving. This whole debate just kind of exploded after Disney guests started complaining about families, sending one of their kids ahead in line. And then having a huge group push through later to catch up with them. Oh, no. And some people say it's harmless and families they need that flexibility. Other people say the second you leave the line, you lose your spot. Peary, you're done. What do you guys think about line cutting 702 364 9400? I feel like there are some unwritten rules around this. If if your spouse steps out to grab drinks and come back. Is that okay? Do you think drinks like you're standing there and you're like dying of thirst. Okay. Hey, let me go grab you a water. Water is something like that. You know, it's fine. A water is fine. But I'm thinking like cocktails or beer. I'm like, okay, dude. No, it depends on the drink. Yeah. Interesting. Okay. What about a bathroom emergency? You're standing there like, I gotta run to the bathroom. Okay. I'll save the spot. And then you cut back through. If it's just you and you need to go to the restroom, that's fine. And I also think you give a little warning to the people behind you. I think everyone has their own personal like line saving policy, but though you lose me the second year, the line saver becomes like a line collector where there's like five people coming in the line. And that has happened to me so many times at amusement parks, not just dizzy, like universal or whatever. Where there's one person and then the whole family comes trucking in because they didn't want to wait in the line. I feel like it's acceptable when it comes to little ones like if it's a mom or a dad or one of the parents and then the little kid. But if it's more than three people, that's when it's crossing the line and digging and diving and do that zip zigzaggy line. No, that's not cool. What do you guys think? Is there any kind of acceptable line cutting policies in your mind? Or are you one of those people that are like, yeah, we're going to send someone to hold our place. And then the whole family is going to squeeze through the crowd with archeros and our souvenir backs. I feel like that is just that's so disrespectful because everyone in line has already agreed silently to suffer together. You know, we've all been standing there and then you're coming in after we've all been waiting there and skipping that misery like all of us experience. I don't think it's fair. It's not fair, but I do think there are exceptions when it comes to if you're going in a family of older people who maybe are standing in line for a very long time and realize like this isn't for me. So you go out there, you make get them situated and you come back in line. I feel like situations like that. Those are fine. I think it's okay when you're there and you leave for something and come back because you already kind of stood in line. But the ones that get me are the ones that just come out of nowhere and jump in the line. Like where have you been this entire time? Do you know? Do you give a warning to the people behind you like, hey, we're just going to go to the restroom real quick hoping my husband's going to stay in this spot, but we're going to come right back. I have done that before and sometimes I'll even say like, hey, will you hold my place? I'm going to run to the bathroom really quick and nine times out of town. They're like, yeah, sure. And then you look back and you're like, thank you so much. And then, you know, not a big deal. But you did the time before. So it's okay. I don't just come out of nowhere and say, hey, I'm getting in line. Well, even in like one person does that. I don't mind. But like you said, I think the limits five after five. I'm really annoyed. Really five. That's too much. That is a lot. Yeah, that's way too much. That's patience on your behalf. The more than three is where I cut the line. We're getting some texts here. This one says Disney legs are like the Hunger Games. We're all surviving together. You can't cheat the system. This one said, I watched a dad push through saying my family's up there. And his family was three zip codes ahead of us. Oh my gosh. Yeah. I mean, one person again, I'm okay with this one. Someone says bathroom emergency gets grace. No snack runs though. This one says, if your whole group wasn't there when I started waiting, I noticed we all noticed. And then this person says, the worst part is the fake politeness. Don't excuse me while committing those crimes. Excuse me. Sorry. How many times you say over and over and over. Excuse me. Sorry. Oh, no. It's so it's so annoying. Someone just wrote so wrong when influencers bring five to eight people to events. Wait. Wait. What? I experienced this enough the other day. Okay. Wait. Hold on. I'm turning this up. Okay. We got here. This. What's what happened? I was at a celebrity eating contest recently. Yes. And only one of them was invited to eat at the celebrity eating contest. And I, they told us only bring a plus one. So I'm like, well, I brought my husband. And then the group next to us with their go pros and their lights had six people with them, including the person I was doing the celebrity eating contest. But they said only bring a plus one, but they brought six they brought six. And then I'm like, they're eating and they get free food. And I'm like, are these people even tipping on top of this? I don't know. I don't know. The influencer thing gets tricky. It really gets tricky when I feel like when some people take advantage of that system and and and some I think there are some influencers that are a little more kind. Yeah. Others locally. The influencer culture is real man. And I eat funny because I take a picture with them. And my cousin's like, oh my god, that's so and so. I'm like, oh, it is. Oh, that's cool. Oh, did they win the contest is a question. Nope. Okay. So we can process a little elimination. That there is not Ricardo. I was policy. Contact. I go has it. Looking across the partnership. The golden nights are now one win away from the Western Conference final after beating the ducks three to two and overtime last night. At the tube mobile arena, Pavel Dora Fee have came through in a huge way scoring for Vegas, including that game winner just over four minutes and overtime. And Thomas Hurtle suddenly picked the perfect time to heat up because after going nearly 30 games without a goal dating back to the regular season. He now has goals in back to back playoff games. This one got tense late though. When Anna hyped tied the game with a little more than three minutes left in regulation. And then he was forcing over time and just sucking the air out of the building for a second. You could feel how tense it was in there earlier in the game. Braden McNabb, he was ejected after a hard hit sent duck center Ryan polling into the boards, leaving Vegas without one of their top defense men for most of the night, put the nights held on and Dora Fee have finished the job. Now Vegas has to anhyme tomorrow night with the chance to close out the series and reach the conference final for the first time since the Stanley Cup in 2023. GGK and game six. How crazy would it be if they won next game in an- - I always feel weird about winning on visiting ice, but they did that on Utah and maybe yeah, maybe that's good luck for them, you know? - Maybe this is a trend maybe. And then if we, or VGK beats them at the Anaheim docks, then we'll either face Colorado, Avalanche or Minnesota Wild. - I don't know, that's a good question. I kind of fell off at hockey for like the last week or two, so I'm a little behind on everything, but yeah, if you say so, I believe you. - Hey, but you say you good luck lately? - Yeah, that I was telling steferlier, the games that I did not watch were games we lost, so my husband made me sit and watch that game last night. - So you have to watch that game. - I will watch it, I will watch it. Also this morning, Lisa Vanderpump is turning Los Agasin to even more of her personal playground. She's already has restaurants here. She already has a hotel project happening on the strip. And now she's getting another Bravo show, NBC Universal announced that Bravo is launching Vanderpump rules, Lisa Las Vegas. And it's gonna follow the transformation of the hotel formerly known as the Cromwell into the Vanderpump hotel. So if you've been inside any of Lisa's properties, you already know what's coming, velvet, clean lines, the show, they promise a behindings and just look at the renovation and all the chaos that comes with turning Vegas Hotel into a reality TV destination. Honestly, I think that Las Vegas and Bravo are a perfect match. There's some drama, there's some late nights. I think it's gonna be good. - I think it's so crazy just going on to the strip. I'm expecting to see the Cromwell, but then I'm always saying, oh my gosh, that's right. It's the Vanderpump hotel now. - Yeah, it'll be interesting to see what she does with it. I thought the Cromwell was really cool. Before that, do you know what it was? - No, but you've said it before, I'm not gonna remember the Barbary Coast. - Barbary Coast, how was that? - I don't know, I don't think I ever went into the Barbary Coast. I think I went only in the Cromwell, but yeah, it was really pretty, so I'm excited to see what she does with it. - Yeah. - Finally this morning, this surprised me in the best way. Adults are going to band camp. Not kids, adults, retirees, empty nesters, former band geeks who haven't touched an instrument in 40 years, they're dusting off those clarinets and oboes and trumpets and headed off to summer music camps across the country. And I guess this is booming right now. Some of the people that are going are saying that, you know, this person says they started back to music camps after retiring and now goes every year, experts say that picking up an instrument again helps with memory, it helps with your focus, your mood, especially on people, you know, as they get older. But I think the bigger part is, is people really miss having hobbies. - Yeah. - Real hobbies, not scrolling, not doing reading comments and actual hobbies where you left the house and met people in your lap and you feel your brain working again and there's something adorable to about a bunch of adults setting up their music stands and playing their instruments. I think that's really cute. - My dad and my uncle are in a band and they've been in a band for like 50 years. This is something I can totally see them going to and they'd be like, "Bandee's gone wild." - Like a American pie. - What? What instrument does your dad play? - My dad plays a keyboard, he plays the trumpet, he plays the trombone, but my uncle, he plays so many instruments. He's like more of the instrument guy and my dad's more of like the lead singer guy. - Do you do you play any instruments? - No. - They try to put me in piano. Uh-uh, I couldn't do it. - What you were in dance, so you were still involved as something? - Yeah, I couldn't get the notes down. They would have to like put right down the letters on the actual keys on pianos and I just could memorize it. - I played the violin for a couple of years and I also don't want to brag 'cause I know a lot of you played it also and your kids probably play the recorder. - Come on, Mercedes. - The recorder I played, I love that. - Am I, am I a grandpa? I played the recorder, that's like a grandpa instrument. - No, it's a kids instrument. Like oh my gosh, whenever my kids had recorder a week at school, I was like, oh no. We're gonna have to listen to her practice this all day long. (dramatic music) (sighs) - Heapsd. - Huh? - Now that we've invested, you said I have to ulfail you. - Here we go. - Next 94.1, home of Mercedes in the morning. - And look who we have here. Action Matt is joining us in studio today. - Hey, thanks ladies. - Hey. - I appreciate let me be here. - Hey, thanks for coming in this morning. We're a little short stop, so Matt said we would come in. Do you guys hear like a static? - Oh, is it your headphones? Mercedes put it in real closer. That thing is wonky. We start studios. Mercedes is now in the main studio and I'm in there. - Oh gosh, it's so static. - And it can get really static-y. I'm sorry, Mercedes. - It's still static-y. - Yeah. - That was so bizarre. Oh well, we'll just deal with it. - Get some duct tape. - Yeah, so something you'll fix it. So Mother's Day was on Sunday and I have to know something right now for all the moms out there. How did it go for you? Because I am reading all these stories full of people who did not land the plane on Mother's Day. It is horrifying and it is also kind of fascinating. This, there are two rules to Mother's Day in my mind. One is don't forget it and two, don't screw it up, right? - 110%. - And that's a list somehow. People are out here going zero for two. There's all these fails rolling in online and they range from like genuinely sad to kind of bizarre. One mom said she got a card from her husband and that was it, nothing else. And once she asked what they were doing, he said, "I figured we could just hang out at the house." Which if that's what you ask for, I think that's completely fine. - I think that sounds like a perfect Mother's Day, but it depends on people's standards. - Yeah, this one says that she got a card from her five year old who wrote in it, "I love you but I love to add more." - Ouch. - The plane did not land. - Dice. So here's where it gets interesting because someone online is now proposing a Mother's Day Mulligan, like a full odd redo next weekend. The idea is if your day did not go the way you wanted it to, either you tell your family exactly what you want or let them try to get it right and just go ahead and give yourself the day that you deserve. Does anyone need a Mother's Day Mulligan 702-364-9400? Did you have a bad Mother's Day and what happened? Did they screw up? Did you screw up? Did they forget? It breaks my heart to hear some of these. I mean, like I will be honest. My Mother's Day wasn't the greatest Mother's Day. - We were told to landing. It was bumpy. - It was a little bit. - It was a little bit, it was a little bit, but it was a little on the bumpy side. - Wait, Murseid, you were telling me that it was fine. (laughing) - It was okay. Let's just say it's not memorable, but what I love about Murseid is she's not high maintenance. So she's very straightforward when you ask her what she wants to do, which I love. And we accomplished part of that, but as life goes on with whatever, there's a lack of communication. Things fall apart. - What happened? - Okay, just a minute. - I went one way and the girls went to you. - Yeah, he and the girls got into an argument and I was like telling them to stop arguing. And I got to the point where I just had enough and I'm like, I'm done and I went upstairs and I stayed in the bedroom for six hours. - She unplugged. (laughing) - She unplugged. - That is incredible, first of all. The sad part to me is they got me gifts and they're all still sitting in the living room unopened. I never opened the gifts. Like that's how the day went. - It's been three days since my last day. - It was bad. Like, I don't want to dwell on it. 'Cause we moved on, but it was just like, I had no desire to open gifts after that. - We have Mother's Day redo this weekend. - Oh, with a splash of BTS. - Yeah, maybe. - Yeah, well here's my thing. Is it one of those things where they apologized to you or they knew that you just wanted to be left alone? - Well, they did apologize and I appreciated that. They all came in and they're like, we're sorry we screwed this up. At that point, I was just kind of like, you know what, let's just like move on. I didn't want to talk about it. And so in the last night, my youngest, she pulled me aside and apologized again. And I was like, it is what it is. Did anyone else have a day like that? 702, 364, 9400. - Somebody has to do it. - Where you need a redo. What happened? Please tell me I'm not the only one. And I'm not here trying to be like, all, whoa, is me. It is what it is. It just happened. But you know, it was just like, oh man, of all the days, we're getting some texts here. This one says, my husband got me a card and signed only his name on it. Not even the kids, just him wishing me a happy mother's day from himself. This one said, my son called me at 9 p.m. to wish me a happy mother's day. When I said it was late, he says, well, it's still Sunday. It's okay. This one says, my kids fought so bad at brunch that we got asked to move table. We were out of buffet. There were no tables. We just ended up leaving. And then Lisa says my gift was a Cole's cash coupon that expired in March. Oh, he said he'd been saving it for what? I don't know. I that reminded me of a mother's day that I forgot to wish my grandma a mother's day and she never forgot about it. Really? She was like, and this is what makes it even worse. Her birthday landed on mother's day. So not only did I forget her mother's day, I also forgot her birthday. I don't know what happened. I just wish my mom a birthday happy birthday, mother's day, but not her. And she was like telling my dad, you know, stepby, she didn't call me for mother's day or my birthday. And I never lived her regret it. So you nuked it. Did you did you make it up to her? I tried. And but I think, you know, us tourists is we never forget. Yeah, I know. And that's a thing like with this one. I was like, let's just move on. Like I don't even want to like deal with it anymore. And I feel bad that you guys feel bad. Is that the worst? That's the worst part for me, you know? Oh, man, we're kicking rocks and nothing to ourselves. We look down to kicking the rock. We'll do a redo. I said, redo. It's time for Mercedes in the mornings. Minutes. All right, let's get our contestant. It is Angie. Good morning Angie. Good morning. Are you ready to conquer the mega minute? Let's hope. Okay, we've got these tickets for you to see Luke Brian and Jason Aldin up for grabs 10 questions, 30 or 60 seconds. And if you get them all correct, you are going to win. You ready? I'm ready. Let's go. All right, guys, if you're struggling with the question, you can say pass. Or if you get one wrong. And if we have time at the end, we'll go questions. And the mega minute, it starts now. Which band currently has a residency at the sphere? Oh, I was the YouTube. I don't know. Uh, back to the point. No, French fries are made out of which vegetable? Potato. Yes, which at WNBA team had their ring presentation? This past weekend. Yes. Which rapper started the movie eight mile? Eminem. Yes. Chlorophyll is the pigment that gets plants this color. Green. Yes. If you graduate second in your class, what are you called? Uh, that's not valedictorian. Uh, covalictorian? No. A name one of the two states directly east of Nevada. Directly east of Nevada. Um, Utah? Yes. Yes. Uh, the Santa's and sisters are associated with which movie? Oh my gosh. Oh, I can do the movie. Oh my gosh. I don't know. Which country has the largest coastline? Darn it. Uh, you got stuck with, yeah, some of these were really hard. I'm so sorry Angie. Let's go over some of the questions that you may, that you had to skip over. So the, uh, if you graduate, okay, the first one was what band currently has a residency over at the sphere. And that is no doubt, no doubt is currently at the sphere. You're the saluditorian. Uh, the Sanderson sisters are associated with which movie? That is Hocus, Focus and the country that has the largest coastline. I would have been here all day trying to figure this one out. It's Canada. Yeah. I had no idea. It was Canada. So, unfortunately, we can't make you a winner, but there's still a chance for you to win, Angie. All you got to do is call back and be color 20, color 20. You're going to get these tickets to see Luke, Brian and Jason Aldin when they come to a legion stadium. Who wants to win? Color 20 gets them 702, 364, 9400. It's time for the hot dream on next 94.1. If you are anxious all the time, this study is either going to come for you or make you worry about whether you're worrying correctly. The researchers looked at data from more than 400,000 people and found a certain kind of anxiety was linked to a 35% lower risk of death over 15 years. It sounds so, so wrong that anxiety would help you live longer, but the key is there are apparently two different kinds of warriors. One is tied to stress and emotional instability and poor mental health. And the other is what researchers call emotional reactivity and internal stability, which basically means people who are just very cautious and very alert and very thoughtful, but they don't unravel emotionally. You know, those people who are kind of on top of everything. I'm just thinking of Doji and you're going to make me nervous and I'm full of anxiety. It makes my heart pump fast. I'm like, "Oh, the song's on." Do you feel like you define in one of these characteristics? Yeah, I think I'm the good one. I feel like I'm I have anxiety, but it's that I just want to make sure like, okay, are all the bills paid? Yes, the bills are paid. Okay, did I make an appointment for this? And so there is like an anxiety there, but I don't I think I'm still able to keep it together. 96.3% of the time. I give you an idea. I feel like I also define as the person that worries a lot more about other people than myself. Like, I'm always worrying about my parents. I'm always worried about James. Yeah. But other than like myself, I'm like, I'm fine. Well, they were saying that these people that live longer, they're more likely to exercise. They eat healthier. They avoid smoking. They go to the doctor for preventative care. So they say this is tied to just like survival instincts and what you need to do to survive. So it could be a good thing. Don't feel bad about being an anxious person. Life in a nutshell. Also, this morning, if you want to know what destroys marriage is faster than cheating, bad in laws, leaving dishes in the sink. It's money. That's right. Yeah. Do study published in the journal family relations has found arguments about money are the number one predictors of divorce. Researchers say couples use harsher language during money fights. The arguments last longer and they take longer to recover emotionally. I think part of the problem is that money arguments, they're not really ever about money. If you think about it, like one person feels stressed, the other feels judged. It's really about how you feel about money, if that makes sense. Like one's a spender, one's the saver. And one can't is too much saving and then one's spending too much. Like there's never a feeling like a balance. I feel like money touches every single thing that we do. So anxiety is some doji. Exactly. Yeah. Do you mean you're in our relationship, you're the spender. I'm the saver. And I think we have a balance. I think we have a balance. 100% on that. Kind of. Well, you did try not to credit cards the other day. Oh my god. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I'm still in the secret of sorry. I trust me. I go to an intern. It's like, sorry, you can't pay for your parking. Oh, look like Mercedes. Stop the credit card. Finally this morning. Somehow out of nowhere. We talked about this on the show the other day. Hockey sacks are back. Yes. The little flip bags from the 90s that just I felt like they they said how to smell like like incense or something. There's just a smell to those. Jody sweaty leather. Yes. Gen Z is currently obsessed with them. High schools and college campuses are forming Hockey sack clubs. Kids are posting ironic, you know, team videos on TikToks and and stores are reportedly selling out because the demand has exploded over the past few weeks. Parents are thrilled because their teenagers are actually going outside and standing in circles and talking to each other face to face instead of staring at their phones. And honestly, the the it's a kind of something wholesome about this whole comeback. You know, it's not it's not anything that's controversial. It's just them playing. Did you say Brooklyn and it's like all about it right now. Is she playing it or like her friends? Her friends and they started a whole Hockey sack like Instagram. They they have like group meetups. I think it's like wholesome. I like that they're into it. The thing that got me back in the day, at least in my high school college days, did you know what can condomas are? No. Condomas are like these. They look like yo-yos and they have a three spikes on it and it has a ball attached to it and people would like do tricks with it and go everywhere to the point where it just got so annoying. And I feel like the Hockey sack might get to the point where oh my gosh, here we go. People are playing Hockey sack again. Oh, I don't know what that is. Is it like a game? It's literally like people just use buying their condomas and they do tricks and stuff. It's literally like a yo-yo but it's like a Japanese version of it. It was everywhere in my days in San Diego. I remember these things that my aunt had and I was like a baby but I was fascinated by them and they were like these two like clanky balls on a string and she would take them and clank them together. Do you know like they would smash your fingers and she'd move it like the handle up and down and these things would hit at the bottom then they'd hit at the top then they'd hit at the bottom. I don't know what those were but they she was obsessed with them and I remember trying to do that one's and I just smashed my fingers. Does anyone remember what those were? - Looks like they're called clackers, knockers or click clacks and they were banned by the FDA because they're the reasonings of wrong people who are hurting themselves. - Okay, so Haki Sacks way better than the clackers. - He's a bitch. - All right, I got this DM the other day and I have not been able to stop thinking about it. A guy reached out for some advice and when I read it, I was like, this is something for the listeners to help with because I don't know. I have an idea of what I think on this but I asked him if he wanted to come on the show and talk about it and he said, yes, and I believe. - Oh boy. - Yeah, here we go. - He's on right now. Hey Joe, are you there? - Yeah, I'm here. - Oh, good. Thank you so much for agreeing to come on. I really appreciate it. So I got your DM and like I'm not gonna read it. I'll just have you kind of tell everyone what your dilemma is right now. Go ahead. - Okay, so my girlfriend, she has, she's had this ring picked out like forever and like she sent me the link to it probably like 10 times because you know, we're gonna get engaged. That's the plan. And when I finally looked up this ring, it was like way more expensive than anything that I could handle. - Oh boy. Oh boy, wouldn't it use to say like two months salary is what you should spend on your ring or something? I don't, I think that's outdated now. But I remember hearing that. Okay, continue. - No, it's beyond even that. So I would just, I don't know. I just was like, I'm gonna just be honest and like tell her, just tell her like, hey, you're gonna put me in the bore house just for this ring. And so I said, you know, I want you to have the. - Uh oh, did we lose him? Joe, are you there? Oh no, basically Joe is not there anymore. Hold on one second. What's going on? Put him on hold, yeah. - Let me see if he's still there. - Okay, hold on Joe. Let's try to salvage this because now I'm really curious as to where this is going. You got him Steph? She's listening, no she can't. Okay, so then I'll tell you the rest of his story until we get him back on. So basically he asked his girlfriend if she would be willing to pay for part of the ring so he could get her the ring that she wanted. And I guess his girlfriend got really upset about this. She got so mad that he dared to ask for money for her engagement ring. So the question is one, was he wrong for asking her to help pay for part of her engagement ring since she wants this huge extravagant get a ring or is that reasonable? Paying for your own engagement ring or paying part of the cost for your own engagement ring. Wrong or is that something that is reasonable? I think we got Joe back on. Are you there Joe? - Yes I'm back. - Yeah, okay, so was that the gist of it? Basically you decided to ask her to pay for part of it and she got really mad at you. - Oh yes, she got mad at me. Her family, her friends like no one was cool with it. - Okay, so what do you guys think? Is that rude to ask for some money for the engagement ring? 702, 364, 9400. - You know, I get you go ring shopping. You get an idea as to what she wants. You have to do that, that's just mandatory. But then you start talking about the size of the ring and you don't wanna get too far out 'cause then you're in debt up to your teeth and you can't see straight. So there has to be a happy medium there because once you guys are married I mean the money is the money. - Right. - We're back to that conversation about the money and oh my God, so you don't wanna start behind the eight ball so there has to be some sort of compromise there. Maybe like as your anniversaries come up you upgrade. - That's an idea. - Yeah. - Is that a possibility Joe or do you think she's pretty set on this specific ring? - Well my thinking was that exactly. We're gonna have the same account. It might really soon. So like what's the difference with the money? - Yeah. - Oh, thank you. - Well let's talk to Robin. Robin you're on with Joe. Paying for your own engagement ring, what do you think? Good morning. - Good morning. So I have two. My first engagement I have made. So it looks the way I want it. My fiance paid for it is $1,000, $3,000. Not that. Second one, my second merge. He makes less than I do. So he just gave me a $1,000 said, "Fine what you want, what I wanted was $2,000." So I did pay for the rest of it. But if the option is have it remade cheaper? Do that. - Yeah, I was gonna suggest go with, thanks for calling Robin. That's an interesting way to handle it. I was gonna suggest maybe don't go with a higher quality diamond or go with like a lap drive. - Yes, yes, yes. - And then that way you can still get it. Let's talk to Matt. Matt, you're on with Joe. Good morning. What do you think about asking your fiance to be to pay for part of the engagement ring? - Hi, from a guy's point of view, I feel you know what you're getting into. Are you marrying someone that's gonna be in the public spotlight or their image is to look good and to have a certain image? Or are you just marrying for love? - What would you say, Joe? - I think it's just for love, but you know, be, they're gonna want to show off to their family. - Matt. - I feel personally from a mind side that you know you're a wife or your future wife the best. And I feel whatever is gonna be best for the long-term interrelationship where you have to pay for the whole thing or you think you can split it. Only you know best. - Yeah, that's a gut feeling right there. Thanks for calling, Matt. Joe, our phones are going crazy here. Can you hang on for a couple of minutes? - Okay. - Okay, so I'm gonna put you on hold here. This, what do you guys think? We have a lot of people with different opinions, including Diana, says, as she should pay. Absolutely. Interesting. We have Joe on the phone with us right now. And Joe, he sent me a DM wanting to know if he crossed the line. He has a situation with his girlfriend and engagement ring. She picked out and a conversation he had with her about it. She was asked to help pay for the engagement ring that she wanted because it was more than you could afford right now, Joe. She's upset. Her friends are upset. You wanna know if you crossed the line. Are you guys, like on speaking terms right now? How are things going with you right now? - I mean, she's still looking forward to an engagement ring. So I guess that's a good sign, right? - Yeah, that is a good sign. We're getting a lot of calls in text. 702-364-9400. This one says, red flag if the engagement is all about a ring and she's gonna get that upset. She's not in it for the right reasons. This one says, if it's the ring she is set on and he can't afford it on his own, either she needs to help or find something that he can afford. Diana has been on hold and I really wanna talk to you, Diana, good morning, what do you think? - Good morning. So I had my heart set. I wanted a big Mac Daddy ring. I waited till I was 41 and bottom line was, we picked out the ring together. He made the down payment and then I made the payments. - Oh, you made the monthly payments on your ring? - I did. - And who cares? - Yeah. - I'm in this for the long haul. - And that's kind of your perspective, right Joe? That the money comes, is gonna come from the same place? - Yes, exactly. Pretty simple. It'll be the same bank belt. - So I mean, there's the honeymoon, there's the wedding, there's a cost, there's like, it's gotta be a partnership. - Yeah, that's a good point. Thanks for calling, Diana. You made a funny comment off of you where you were saying to get what kind of ring were you saying? - Well, I'm looking at the ring that I've got and I've got this platinum job. And now you see guys, they're all wearing these Aura rings, tracking the-- - A for wedding rings? I don't think that wedding was a bit of a-- - No, not for the, not for the, okay. - The female or the other side, whatever. But seriously, I've got a platinum ring. I'm like, okay, I'm gonna Google this dog and 500 bucks for an Aura ring, okay. - I know, but if it's someone proposed to you with an Aura ring, I'm not gonna lie. I'm not a superficial person, but I would be kind of more flat. - Just give me a ring pop at that point. - Will you marry me? And also what's your current heart rate? (laughs) - Diana, hey, good morning. You're on with Joe. What do you think? - I think that men should definitely be the ones to pay for the ring, especially when, you know, it's always been the tradition that the guy is the one to propose to a girl when, he feels that she's the right one. So why would you have to split the ring, the cost of the ring with the fiance? Like it doesn't make sense. - What do you think, Joe? - I mean, she is kind of traditional. I mean, he put it that way. It doesn't make sense. - But he doesn't have the money to pay for it, Joe. She asked for a ring that was way out of his budget. What does she do then, Diana? - She's not the right one. - Oh, you already know going into the relationship that she's too much for you. Like, it's already a red flag. I would just move on with my life and let her go and find her sugar daddy back and actually a four. (laughing) You know, the ring that she won. - I did, did she? - She's already putting you through the struggle right now. Imagine how it's gonna be later on down the road. - Oh. - Like, oh, honestly, just turn around and go find your son. - I am, I'm not a good woman. - Wow. (laughing) - I'm gonna be happy with what you can give her and that you guys can grow together and, you know, afford, live within your means. - I, hey, I think a lot of people may agree with you, Diana. Thanks for the call, Joe. Is that even an option? - She made a lot of sense. Level one, I don't wanna break up. - I don't want you to break up either. (laughing) - Diana's a real, real relationship. - She's like, get out of this. - I'm ready. (laughing) (upbeat music) (upbeat music) - It's time for heads up. (upbeat music) - Good Mercedes in the morning. - On mix, 94.1. - All right, let's get our contestant, Katelyn, you are caller 20 good morning. (cheering) - Good morning. - Are you ready to play heads up for these y'allly crew tickets? - Yes I am. - All right, let's do it. Pick a category. Do you wanna go with registered nurse, need for speed or sync or swim? - I'll do registered nurse. - Registered nurse, okay. International nurses days on Tuesday. These are all things associated with nurses, okay? - Okay. - All right, six and 60 is all we need. Let's do this. All right guys, your 60 seconds for heads up. It starts now. If you cut yourself, you might put one of these on what, where you cut yourself? Yes. If someone is not breathing, you perform this on them. - CPR? - Yes. I need to get fluids immediately. I'm gonna hook one of these up to you. Yes. This is what a nurse would wear. So she doesn't get her own clothes dirty. Yes. This is, I'm not the doctor, I am the what? I am sitting in the bed. - Nurse. - No. Yes. This is, I need to get your temperature. I'm gonna use one of these. - Vital PC. - No, what is your, - Yeah. - Yes. - Wow. - Knocked out of the park. - Are you in the medical field by chance? - I may actually, I may tip nurse to just lock words. - Oh my gosh. - That chance is of that. That's crazy. I'm like, she's using all the proper words. And I was like, something is up here. Keeling, congratulations. And thank you for what you do. Because I think nurses are the, the angels of this universe for everything that you guys do. You're going to see Yachtley Crew. - Bring it in there. - This is Mercedes in the morning. - On Mix 94.1. - There are words and phrases that have a shelf life. They start out feeling fresh. Everyone kind of picks them up. And then somewhere along the way, they just expire like milk. You just go rotten. Matt was just, Matt's in studio with us today and he was just telling me that there is a phrase that you are personally done with and that you want to expire before you say what it is. What is a word or a phrase right now that you would personally escort out of the English language if you could right now. 702-364-9400. - I am so ready for this to hit the clearance rack. Like let's get it out of the store. - What is it? - Gate. Keeping. I'm ready to kick down the gate and be done with it. Oh my God. - Why do you dislike that phrase so much? - You can't open up anything on social media with that. Oh my God, I'm not going to gate keep this. I'm not going to gate keep that. And it's just like, oh come on now guys. Let's just get rid of the gate keeping business all together here. - It's not like that's a new phrase. I've heard that phrase for years, but I do understand because I feel like people try to apply it to literally everything now and that's the problem. Someone didn't tell you about a sale at Target. Why are you gate keeping the sale? Or someone doesn't, you know, you're looking at someone's outfit and you're like, why are you gate keeping where you got those javes? Like people use it for everything now. - Yeah, gate keeping I see a lot now and a gas lighting as well. - I'm not like sliding it right up next to gate keeping. I'm like, you should, you should gas let me to do this. I'm like, okay, we're not going to play the manipulative card here. - 702-364-9400, a word or phrase you would expire. You said you had one more. - I've got one more and this one's not even on the clearance shelf anymore for me because when someone uses it or says it to me, I just ignore them. I don't even reply. - What? - Wifey. - Hey. - What is it? - Someone call me Wifey. - Hey, do you and the wifey want to go out to speak and say, just let me know in case you and the wifey want to come, we're having a party. - I don't like Wifey. - And I guess, yes, sorry. We're done. - I think we talked about this on the air the other day. Don't you, is it James refers to you with Wifey? - James puts his name, okay, this was a long time ago. Before we even marry in his phone, I am saved as Wifey. - Oh, I'm sorry James, but yeah, nothing. - I think it's updated now because you know how Apple will update to what you are when you put your stuff in. You're like Stephanie Sedella now, no longer Wifey, but yeah, he used to call me Wifey. - And they were getting some text here. This one says, I agree, gaping needs to go. I posted a photo of my backyard and someone I was gate, said I was gate keeping my landscape. Gosh. - I mean, that's a little dramatic. This one says, my boss says, let's circle back 12 times a day. We never circle back. It is a black hole. That actually reminds me, I found this list. I wanna go through it with the two of you to see what you think. This is a list that just came out of the most annoying phrases, according to this new survey. So on a scale of one to 10, I'm gonna give you the phrase and you tell me how annoying it is, okay? - All right. - It is what it is. - Oh, please, too. I'm giving you what it is. - When's bad, 10's good? - No, no, 10 is the worst. - Oh, 10 is the worst. - Yeah, 10. - 10 out of 10. - 10 out of 10. - I know, 'cause this rolls back to way back in the day. So I'm gonna say it's a five. - Okay. - Middle of the road. - How about this? Everything happens for a reason. - Oh, God, this is Larry like a family fight. So yeah, this is a, we're gonna give it a one. - I love this phrase. So the loving is one and hating it is 10? - Yes. - Okay, I love it. I don't want it. - I love that phrase. - Yeah. - Okay, how about this one? Life isn't fair. - Oh, no, that's a 10. - Yeah, my parents say that. Oh, life isn't fair. You'll get over it. - Okay, this one, I'm not gonna lie. Just sentences that start with that. - Not gonna lie. - I thought you were saying something. - No, no, that's it. Not gonna lie. And then whatever it is. - It's like, which me, that one gets me every time. Were you lying before this sentence? Is this your truth debut? - It's not over thinking. - No, I like I'm not gonna lie, 'cause I use that a lot. - Okay. - I'm gonna say six. - All right, and finally, I could care less. Which by the way, means you do care. It's the phrases I couldn't care less. - I could care less, also sounds negative. - It sounds like you're stomping your foot. - Yeah, I could care less. And I'm like, okay, attitude, no, no. - Okay, let's talk to Chris here. Chris, there is a phrase that you just want to go away. What is it? - I can't care enough. - Low key. - Low key. - Oh, yes. (laughing) - I'm so sick of it. Everything is low key. I'm not gonna lie. And they even add to that, I'm not gonna lie. - I'm gonna get a smoky, smoky. - I know when you add low key, I'm not gonna lie together and then circle back and talk about that. It's just a recipe for disaster on that. - What about the wood cook? - Oh, cook. - Our daughter says that all the time. - Let it cook. - Yeah, if we didn't cook, then we ate. (laughing) - It's time for the hot fruit. three on next 94.1 half of Americans say fun is missing from their lives right now, which I think feels very believable for where we are between work, stress, schedules, bills, everybody constantly feels behind on everything and fun has somehow turned to something that you have to plan like three weeks in advance, this new survey found 48% of adults say they're going through what researchers are calling a fun drought and 12% said they can't even remember the last time they had a free day to simply enjoy themselves. When's the last time you guys had a fun day, an actual fun day. What happened? Let me look at my calendar. Oh, seriously, I'm trying to think we, oh, you know what? My friend just graduated from doctorate school and we had a party for her the weekend before. So that was kind of fun. Those about two weeks ago. Okay. I'm trying to think we went to a concert. Yes. And I was going to I'm stealing it. What is it? No doubt. I had I had a lot of fun, especially when we were trying to get those oranges. That would be my latest or most current fun day. Okay. So that's not too long ago. But what stood out to me most is that people even seem lazy about fun. Now that it's like they're kind of exhausted. Like it takes too much effort to go out and have fun, which I kind of understand. You know, for me, we were so we were in such a big hurry as kids to become adults. And let's be honest, adulting sucks. It's really. I mean Monday is not Monday through Friday. It's Monday through Sunday, 365 and sometimes it's 24 to 7. So I can see where people can get a little on the lazy side with a three letter fun word. It's just like, oh my God. Yeah, you just want to sleep. That's all I want to do. I just want to go. Sleep is fun. Thank you very much. I like that. Also this morning some baby names are I guess on the verge of extinction researchers looked at social security data and found there are some names that are barely being used anymore for boys and girls. So tell me if any if either of you know someone with these names, okay? Gary. Yes. Gary. Yes. You know Gary. Yeah. Gary's your coworker. Yes. Gary. Oh, my God. One hour. And then you got SpongeBob's Gary. Okay. How about Larry? Yes. No, but Larry. Yes. Okay. God. I don't know. Boss was name Larry. Okay. Randy. Yes. I went to a guy in high school. He was in the football team. Randy worked with the dude back in the day named Randy. Terry. Terry. A man named Terry. A guy named. Oh, cool guy. Yes. Our cool guy. Oh my God. Really? Yo. He always marry Chris Miss. Have he used to or whatever. Stop him as a friend with your pool guy. That's. Oh my God. Yes. And Todd. Todd. Do you know any Todd? Don't we have a guy in our company named Todd and he's coming to visit us? Is that name Todd? Or is that it? Oh, I don't know. We know what Todd and we used to his nickname used to be Todd the Bob. Oh, yes. Todd the God. Okay. So tight jeans tight shirt. Todd the bond. Oh, that's why you call him and Todd the Bob. Yes. Those were for the guys. These are the names on the verge of extinction for girls. Patricia. My aunt, her whose birthday today is for Patty. I know a couple. I know a Patty as well. Debra. Yes. We had a cold coworker. Yes. Debra Susan. That's my aunt's name. Auntie Susie. Okay. Surely. I'm over three. Really? Do you know what Shirley? No. My old dance keeper. Dance team mom was surely. And Karen. We all know. Karen. Karen. Even if her name isn't Karen, they're Karen. What's funny is that some of the older names though are making a huge comeback names like Hazel, Eleanor, June, Archie, and even Harvey are suddenly going to get a beat or something. Like, all right. Throw the beat. I said there. Finally this morning, if you're someone who throws up a piece sign in every selfie, apparently you want to may you want to rethink that because a new report says phone cameras are now so high quality that scammers and hackers could potentially steal your fingerprints. What? Straight from your photos. If your fingers are close enough to the camera and facing outward, they can still your fingerprints. And now before everyone starts wearing gloves and selfies here, experts say this would still take advanced AI software. Multiple clear images. Good lighting. And then someone with a reason to target you specifically. So we're not talking about random people zooming into your Disneyland group shot and taking the fingerprints. But it's one of those stories that makes you realize how weird technology is getting. Like we all grew up being told not to give out our social security number. And now apparently your fingers are out here leaking your personal data. I am so guilty of doing the piece. And that's my go to is the piece sign. So now I'm like, have people been hacking my fingerprints, but I doubt it. With the quality. They need a reason. Like, do you think that there's a reason that someone would want your fingerprints? Yeah, one hundred percent. Oh my god, they want your facial expression. They want their stuff. They can use biometric stuff is priceless right now. And you just recreated a shot with you and Sophie. Doing the piece sign at the no doubt concert. Oh great. And yet one of our cars requires you to sign in and it wants my fingerprint. And I can sit there for 20 minutes. And I just go ahead and put the code in because it's not reading my fingerprint because my fingers are all dried and jacked up. Yeah, like it nothing reads his fingerprint. I'm like, are you even alive? Like he has such callous fingers that they don't it doesn't pick anything up. But that's crazy. That is terrifying. Biometric. Why wouldn't they be able to get your eye scan from that too? Oh, they can. Eye scan? Oh, one hundred percent. That's why they tell you not to to do all these selfies or you're sharing your old photos as a kid or you're going in and doing the AI thing. All they're doing is they're taking your cheekbones, your nose, your forehead, the whole nine yards. We have so much to worry about nowadays. I know. I'm going to squint in every photo now and I'll just flip off instead of give the piece off. [Music] [Music]

Summary:

He myös suunnittelivat tapaamisia spontaanisti ilman vahvistusviestejä.
