Hello and welcome everyone to a new T O P T series that we're bringing live to you guys. It is one piece survivor over the past few months. We have had 40 members of our discord. Join a survivor tournament with a chance to become mod in our discord for a day. But that mod will be able to join us on a game night stream for the rest of the crew. Hopefully the twins can join me, Larry, the rest of the mods and staff and the winner of one piece survivor. The mastermind behind all of this is the mod, y'all know him, dragon, silky, Chris. Sorry, y'all for the delay. We had some technical difficulties. Mostly on my end, don't blame Chris. It was on me. It was my fault. But yeah, Chris, this is your brainchild. So talk, talk to the people. I knew you have a slideshow to present everybody like what we've had so far and what the, what this all looks like. So talk to the people, man. Yo, what's up, everyone, been a while since I've been on stream. So I've said, what's up, Larry. But yeah, this game is based on the hit TV show survivor. Not sure how many of y'all have seen it, but I'm a big survivor fan. I discovered it during the pandemic and bitched it really let the game. I think it takes a lot of a lot of strategy to play and to win. And the idea just came to my mind when I was walking in target one day. I was at the board game section. I saw survivor board game. And I was, oh, damn, you could play a board game survivor. That's pretty dope. But then when I looked at the rules, it was kind of trash. So I was like, man, like I wish we could play this, I wish I could play this game. But this board game sets. Then, you know, came out with the idea of like, hey, maybe we could create a one piece version of it for the discord. So, you know, it had some kinks in the beginning, but overall has been a lot of fun. It's been dope. I was a part of it for a while. I had a dominant run. Chris probably won't acknowledge that, but I was every game I played, we was winning. That's all I know. The team that I was on was, was catching dubs. And then, and then Chris owed me Chris absolutely hold me. I got, I had this like talismans or tablets or whatever that allowed me to have immunity. And I was on pto vacation overseas, whatever I was doing. And they voted me out while I was streaming. Absolutely insane, man, after that. Listen, my win loss record was higher, Toby. That's all I know. When I played, whatever teams I was on was winning. That's all I know. That's all I know. Like the stream, if you haven't already, it does help with the YouTube algorithm. But Chris did put together a little PowerPoint presentation to go over the rules of survivor, as well as a recap of everything that we've done so far on the discord. We did decide to do the last 10 survivors live. So it's going to be a few episodes. Somebody will be eliminated every single stream. So should be, should be pretty dope. I mean, you want to pull up this slide? Yeah, we're on the first one here. Chris, I guess to follow along, you'll have to watch the stream. I guess. Yeah. But yeah. So I'll go to the next slide now. Yeah, please. Thank you. Okay, so it's going to be a little bit of yapping. I'm sorry. This is more so for the people who have probably never seen the show survivor before. Just so you guys go follow along and just to let y'all know, we're considering this quote unquote season one survivor. So once we're going with this game, we're going to do season two. And if you would like to play, just hit me up in the discord. Set by you on the first slide. We're on phase one now, the four tribes. Okay, I'm not seeing my mind, but if y'all can see it, so I think the best way to kind of break down the game is to break it down in phases. Again, bear with me. It'll make sense when I finish for those who have never seen it. So for this game, we had 44 players in a discord that entered the game. And also for those who do who have watch survivor also bear with me is not going to be exactly like survivor. Okay, it's discord and there was more people. So I had to like, you know, change up some things. But anyway, we have 44 players from the discord that entered the game, shout out to all of y'all that played. We started off with four tribes, the Paris tribe, Marines tribe, Revolutionary tribe, downtown tribe. And so 11 survivors were randomly placed in one of the four tribes. It was completely random. He goes to next slide, so. I think he's got lagging up my ass, so just let me know when you. It's there now. I'm editing on it, but don't worry about that. Yeah, no worries. Next slide just wants to show y'all the players that played the first 44 and what tribes day were in was completely random. So you'll see people like Seb, some of them was like Seb 30 and Toby played Red, her Shankton played diverse played. And of course, a lot of discord fan favorites like Crulls or if I hit a who's also mind us just a bit. I'm sorry. I'm not trying to leave people out. I'm just reading off like people's names. But yeah, those are just the people that decide to play and what teams are on. We go to next slide set. I will say that I think on paper, a lot of people are hyping at the Pirates tribe, the thumb calling correctly. So whatever tribe I was in was winning. That's all I know. That's all I know. All right. So you're on the next slide. Okay. So for phase one of the game, right? For those who have never washed it. When you get into your tribe, everyone is split into their own private trived channel within the discord. And you can only interact with other people in your tribe, whether it's in their tribe channel. Or you guys can probably be on the other. I create strict rules that prevented people from trying to communicate with people outside of the tribe. Of course, this top is discord, you know, people can cheat, but I place a sense is to try to prevent that, which did work. Some people were caught cheating and yeah, but anyway. The way it works is usually typically there's going to be a tribe challenge. You would not know what the challenge is until right before we begin. I do give a clue beforehand so you can try to figure out what the game is. But for the most part, you don't get the rules until the challenge begins. The first second and third place tribes win was called immunity. So they are going to automatically be safe from elimination. The entire team regardless of performance of regardless of individual performance. And the last place tribe will go to was called tribal council and at tribal council. That tribe will anonymously vote for someone from their tribe to get voted out the game. And then that leads into tribal council. So tribal council is where the players from the losing tribe will discuss and determine who they want to vote out. So there's going to be a period of time where you could talk to people in your tribe, try to rally votes, make deals. Sabotage someone, whatever the case may be, do what you have to do to try to not be the person to get voted out. And then once tribal council begins, everyone from losing tribe will join the voice channel. I create it for tribal council. There's usually a 10 to 15 minute discussion where I lead the discussion. And then after the discussion, the voting process begins. And whoever I guess most votes leaves their tribe and voting is 100% by this. So going on to number four, once the voting is done, I now so got the most votes and they are eliminated. But what we did for this was that instead of being eliminated from the game entirely, you go to what's called ex out island. So we could just go to the next slide. Are we there? So and take a pause to explain what ex out island is. It's a second chance battleground for players eliminated during the first phase. So instead of being removed in the game completely, which typically happens on the show survivor. In some seasons, there's something called ex out island or instead of going home and you out the game, go to ex out island where you'll have an opportunity to fight your way back into the game. So if you're the first person eliminated from your tribe, you go to ex out island, of course you're alone. And you have to wait. You're out the game. You can't interact with other players. You're by yourself. And they get to wait for a second player to get eliminated and join you on ex out island. And then those two players compete in a challenge. Whoever wins gets to stay on ex out island. And then whoever loses goes to what's called the jury and becomes a jury member. later, but I want to emphasize that just because you win a matchup on Exile Island doesn't mean you get to go back into the game immediately. You have to still stay at Exile Island until it's time to start phase 2 of the game. So that being said, let's go to the next slide. So phase 2 of the game is called the tribe swap. Once we reached 33 total players left, there are many players in the game, get randomly reassigned into three brand new tribes. So we have the devil food tribe, the hockey tribe, and the will of the tribe, and each tribe gets their own private channel and is similar to phase 1, where you get to talk amongst people in your tribe, strategize, do whatever, make alliances, and then we do a tribe challenge. The top two tribes are safe. The losing tribe has to go to tribal council and vote someone off. Right before we go into the tribe swap, this phase 2. The last person standing on Exile Island gets to re-enter the game and they'll be put into one of those three tribes. Okay, let's go to the next slide set. Are you there? So these are the people that ended up surviving the first phase and making it to the second phase and what tribes are on. Anyway, we can go. As you can see, I was there. You know what I'm saying? Still alive. Still alive. To the BS started. Here we go. Then the final phase is what's called the merge. Once there are 24 people, it's basically every man from himself. So no more team challenges. It's all individual challenges and basically the same process where you do a challenge in their tribal council and then one person has to get voted off the tribe and if you get voted out, no more Exile Island, you become straight to the, you go straight to the jury and become a jury member. So if you go to the next slide, these were the top 24 survivors still left in the game. I see my name. That's all I'm saying. I still see it. Still there. I don't know how I'm right there. That being my Saviour is that something that any of the challenges has been true. That's not true. That's not true. That's not true. I did work in several challenges. I wasn't there for all of them, but the ones I was a part of that was I was actively participating in. I put it work. You can ask my teammates. I don't remember everybody who was on the team, but I was I was trying to work. Toby Hank is he was an opt the whole time. Whatever. I'm going to do a little pause right here for people who haven't watched like basically the name of game, especially when you start off on teams is there's a lot of strategy. You know, do you vote off the weakest member of your team? Do you vote off so one that you think will be a strong competitor in the future? Do you vote off so when you don't trust? There's a lot of there's a lot of strategies that you could take. So let's go to the next slide, said the jury system. I'm just speedrunning this. We could like get straight to the game. But the jury system is where if you're eliminated from the game, you permanently joined what's called the jury. So jury members will have a private channel away from the game where they could discuss the game freely. They're not allowed to message active players or interact with them about anything regarding the game. They can attend any and all tribal councils just to hear the discussion. Because the tribal councils do be game heated, you know, people will be pointing fingers and playing the blame game and they're trying to convince people to vote so not if that's not them. So the tribal councils usually get heated if it's a tough vote. And they must participate in the jury process and act in good faith. So they can't quit just because they lost, etc. Because nature of the game is that you're going to get lied to. You're going to get betrayed. That's the point in the game, right? So if you get out, you know, you should just lie better. You can't feel salty about getting out. And then one star three players remaining right now we have 10. But one star three, there'll be one more final tribal council and the power that turns into the jury. Because the winner of Survivor is not the person who wins a challenge. The winner of Survivor is the person that gets the most votes from the people eliminated aka the jury members. So the jury members determine who wins Survivor. So that's what also makes it tough to the game tough because there's another layer to it. Yeah, you want to vote people out. But at the end of the day, the people you're voting out had to vote for the winner. So you can't just like, you know, a game like a, a hole, you know, you kind of have to use them tagged and strategize, etc., etc. Anyway, next lie set. When we get to the final tribal council is very simple. Basically, you should have three finalists. We get to make a speech as to why they should win. So they could talk about, you know, the strategies that they made or the moves that they made at their social game, etc. And then the jury members, we each get a turn to basically put the finalists on the hot seat and then press some, ask them questions, whatever the case may be. And the finalists get an opportunity to answer those questions. And then once that process is done, the jury members will vote and whoever gets the most votes win survivor. Next lie set. So I might have to get to the next line one side. What makes the game fun, another layer to it is that throughout the game, there are secret items and advantages that the players can get. You can either get them from doing reward challenges or winning reward challenges, or there are times that have random treasure drops by the whole scene kind of had to, you know, scour for it. But the items are secret unless you play them or unless you tell people that's on you. And then when the item is used, I announce it. And you know, the item takes effect depending on what the item is. So if you go to the next slide, I'm just going to show you some of the examples of items that we had in the game. So the most powerful one of my opinions was called the pony glyphemy of the idol. Basically, when you play it, you can play for yourself or play for someone else, but once it's played, any and all votes that were cast to guess you will no longer count. So if Seb played the idol that he didn't play, and Seb and the votes went to Seb. Yeah, yeah, the rear of the votes went to you. You should have auto played. You should have auto played by my thing. Seb played his idol. Then all seven votes that went towards Seb no longer count, which therefore makes Larry the highest vote getter, and then he'll go vote it out the game. So it's a very powerful idol, but you also don't want to waste it. After that, you have to see some handcuffs. Basically, when you play to guess someone, they lose their vote. Conquest hockey advantage. I believe this gives you an extra vote. So you get two votes. Armored hockey advantage automatically makes you safe from a vote, but you also cannot vote. So you lose your vote in exchange for safety. Osservation hockey advantage. You get to secretly learn everyone's vote after tribal council and knowledge is power in this game. You can see who's kind of lying to you and stuff like that. Shambles advantage. I think we did use this one. You basically get to change someone's vote. And then Buster call was kind of like a petty one, where essentially you get to reveal everyone's vote publicly if you play it. So depending on when you play it, it could definitely ruin people's games and expose people. So that being said, let's go to the final slide. Seb, the final slide is showing our top 10 survivors who are still in the game. Diamond life Miyagi, Toby, Chewy, Wylaj, 30, King Pesent, Dozer, Amzi, Bergatashi. So they've all been playing great games. It should be a good one. Shout out to Void for his last minute help with the stream and shout out to Aziz Stoppa for keeping track of what was going on in the game because I definitely wasn't keeping track. I was keeping track of way too many other games. So and shout out to everyone else too for like just playing and helping out where they can. It has been fun to say the least. You'll get to see the remaining people play that challenge. And then for 10 or 15 minutes, Those people, once we have a winner, the person that wins wins safety, no one can vote for them, they are immune from the vote. And we're going to allow them to step away for 10 to 15 minutes to kind of strategize, talk to their allies, figure it out. Me and Cebu, yeah, answer super chats and stuff like that, and then we'll bring them back and we'll do tribal council live, and you know, we'll see how that plays out, and someone will get voted out. We got five Canadian from Agent Q, it says, why didn't everyone get KO'd by joy boys hockey blast, Nami, Usap, Bonnie, et cetera, have stronger top tier conquer resistant over vice admirals. Does hockey select who it hits? So similar to what Rayleigh did on the, at the execution platform, no, in, what was it, the slave auction house? You can kind of select who you're hurting with your hockey, I think, so like people like Nami and, and chopper who are present for that also didn't get knocked out. It can be argued that they're just, their will is too powerful to be knocked out by these things, but it's also a situation where if joy boys capable of storing his hockey, I think he can dictate. It only affects the negatives like the people that he wants it to hurt, you know, so I think it's possibly one part technology, one part just joy boy being so advanced with his hockey, so that's what I'd say. But no, I don't think it means that they have top tier conquer hockey, but we saw vice admirals getting knocked out at Marine for it. I think when Luffy to his hockey blast, no, like it's, it's not too crazy that they were able to survive that in my opinion. Yeah, this should be a lot of fun. We're going to have a whole series dedicated to this. It'll be a playlist on our YouTube channel. It should be a lot of fun. I hope you guys are enjoying it. Okay, so if I remember correctly, you had to be at least a knock him on our tiered knock him a tier and our discord to be able to play in. Survivor for season one, it'll probably be the same for season two, so if you want to join, become a knock him on the discord or high sub to you. But if you're already one of those knock him a warlord or yanko, you'll have access. You'll just have to let Chris know when we decide to actually go into season two, Chris will make an announcement to the entire discord and basically let everybody know, hey, if you want to join, you'll have a cut off date like we did last time. And then we'll get right around everybody up and then do do the thing. So I know a lot of people miss the cut off last go around. Some people are newer to the server. They weren't here when we started this off. Sorry to y'all, but season two will be here sooner than you think. Yeah. And then we got another two from saucy 12. This is what did I miss a whole lot. Chris did a whole breakdown of everything that's happened with survivor so far. What to expect going forward and how you can participate in the future. Everyone will have up to now automatically up to three chances per win. So as Seb doesn't like his score, he can throw away his score and try a second time. Let's say the second time he gets 10 points, he can choose to keep his score, keep his 10 and then that ends his turn. We can go on to the next person or if he wants to risk it, he could try again for a third and final time. But whatever score he gets a third and final time, that is his score. He's locked in and that's end of his round one. But everyone will have a turn. Everyone will have two rounds after two rounds. The two lowest scores will get eliminated and then we'll refresh and play again. Everyone's score everyone's total scores to go back to zero will refresh play again after two rounds. You gotta go with the guys you were playing games with, who you were having combos with, about who to eliminate, who to keep, you know. So kinda like the friends you made along the way, I feel like that definitely matters a lot. And I didn't think it would, but ever since, I say the last merge, since we went solo, I've found that I say the first tribes, the pirate tribe, the Marine tribe, the revolutionary and bounty hunter, those four tribes matter the most out of everything, more than the second merge as well. So, yeah, definitely matters. - You know, sometimes what they say is true, which is you keep your friends close. enemies closer but survivors interesting because people on your tribe may come off as friends and people might take advantage of that the whole time they're thinking now this person's an enemy so I'm going to be friends for now it's cool but at some point I need a back side this person if I want to get farther in the game so why so why Les how much do you factor in trust in this game or do you kind of take it one vote at a time like are you even loyalty above all or you know you just kind of have to make this smart decision based on how the cars are done what do you think I do think it's a little bit of both I think with how far we are in it does really matter about the people you met along the way and like the ties you've built with people like I'm pretty chill with I feel like most people I think I've been on a team with most people in the different merges but at the same time like tonight for fillins I asked former revs just because I knew I could trust them interesting but I still trust everybody it's not like I have beef with anyone but at the end of the day I did want to play it safe okay that's nice to be the same and like it sounds good but someone has to get voted out is there anyone here that does not feel safe like all y'all are capping I feel like I'm actually a target who feels in danger I know King Peasant doesn't eat one immunity but think I'm a target but I wouldn't say I'm in danger who do you think it shouldn't feel like they're in long it'll take to start season two up but he mentioned that watching survivor as a show will help you move forward and navigate the challenges and the the tribal councils and all the things so I recommend you guys do that I know he told me to do it I didn't do it I got eliminated so um and the in season two will be based around uh season 40 of survivor okay so if you never watch uh survivor watch season 40 and in that season they brought in like all veterans so it was like the best of the best players going at it so you see a lot of people who know how to play the game do not strategize and stuff like that but they had some twists and so season two had those twists okay interesting interesting and we can find these all on like YouTube or like where they have like uh I think survivors like on Hulu and uh I think I will other streaming platform but you can also just watch like clips online too like users watch like like top 10 craziest tribal councils or top 10 best challenges and that uh that just are like top 10 best players ever just you know familiarize yourself with the game but um it's means it is a super fun show I think it's actually like the most popular American reality TV show in terms of like viewership and they have 50 seasons so you don't get 50 seasons being trash yeah yeah I gotta connect with you Chris on one next time we do this is um that's
