The episode centers on the emotional and strategic fallout of six consecutive women being voted out, marking a record in Survivor history. Linnea and Alexis share deeply personal reactions to their exits, highlighting betrayal, confusion, and the pain of being overlooked despite strong alliances. Linnea expresses grief over being targeted by women and the lack of visibility in her bond with Kilby, while Alexis reflects on her performance as loyal, honest, and resilient, rejecting the idea that her exit was a failure. Both emphasize that the experience, though painful, taught valuable lessons about trust, strategy, and identity. The discussion also reveals how social dynamics—especially in small tribes—amplify the impact of advantages and alliances. A recurring theme is the underrepresentation of women in traditional power structures, with the show’s producers acknowledging the need for more balanced gameplay. The hosts also propose structural changes like a "cops vs. lawyers" twist or longer, more detailed episodes to deepen character development and viewer connection. Ultimately, the conversation balances emotional honesty with strategic insight, showing that Survivor’s impact extends beyond the game itself—shaping identity, healing, and long-term perspective.

Alright, welcome back to The Pod Has Spoken
Exit Press with Linnea and Alexis
Two more women voted out making it six
which is an absurd number
Longest streak in the history of the show
It is? You looked it up?
Yeah, well, I've seen other people saying that
I didn't independently confirm
Yeah, that's how misinformation is spread, Riley
You know that, right?
Like your grandma posts something on Facebook
I wasn't able to go through all 51 seasons
Did your grandma see an AI video on Facebook about it
and determine that it was true?
Yeah, actually Hulk Hogan is winning this season
I saw that on Facebook
Good, well, with that we have our Exit Press
Here's Linnea
I do believe, Linnea, that if there's
Also, you're not in all black mourning
I got the memo on social media last night
I thought I'd show up in black
Yeah
You're on the next stage of grief already?
You know, I'm in another dimension lately, Tyson
Okay, I haven't fully recovered
I don't know where I am
But the funeral was yesterday
Oh
Yes
The funeral was yesterday
You don't know where you're at?
Tell us more about that
Yeah, I don't feel fully healed from it
I mean, getting voted out from Survivor sucks
Going out in a crazy way is a bit mind-blowing
And no, I still haven't made sense of it
I'm still feeling a bit hurt
And I'm ready for vengeance
Okay, why are you hurt?
Like, where does the hurt come from?
What was a girl to do?
Like, really?
I mean, I had not one, but two
Extra votes arrive less than an hour before tribal
Like, what would you have done, Tyson?
Like, I really, I'm still kind of at a loss
I'm also hurt because I felt really betrayed by Kilby
They did not show our alliance
Or our bond as much as it was there
We formed it on day one
We scaled a mountain top
Together and we were looking for advantages
He's the person I bonded with most on day one
And that wasn't really shown
So, yeah, it hurt
Okay
How long do you think it's going to take to heal from this?
Did it subside a little bit when you left the island
Before it aired on TV and reliving it again?
Brought it all back or made it worse?
Or have you been in anguish and agony for the last eight months?
Okay, maybe not anguish and agony
I have a lot of other stuff going on in my life
But, yeah, it hurt
It took a while to feel like I was hurt
I felt okay about it
But re-watching it
I thought I was kind of getting, like, giggled through the episode
I had tears in my eyes
Like, actually, a lot of emotions were brought back up last night
Yeah
The good news for you
As someone who's experienced this four times
Is that you'll just think about that moment for the rest of your life
Can I say that?
Thank you so much
I really appreciate that
What did you do to Maggie day one?
Like, what was. You gotta ask her that
I'm so, I'm still confused
I actually didn't know it
That Maggie did or said all that
Until watching it last night
So that was a shocker
I don't know
I mean, all I can think of is
I was part of the reason Carter mutinied
And wanted to abandon ship
He did not feel safe
We epically destroyed his alliance real quick
In the span of 12 hours
Anna was voted out
Rob left because his ego was hurt
And then Carter mutinied because he didn't feel safe
Rightfully so
And he did not have sweet things to say about me when he got there
So I'm sure it was in Maggie's head that I was leaving
Leading things
And I was a target
Okay
I thought it was interesting
Because we've had six women voted out
Both women last night were targeted by women primarily
Yeah, absolutely
Look, we need to stop assuming that
Beefy men are absolutely essential to these challenges
I think that in the first half
No, no, no, no, no
Wait, wait, wait
Till I play one or two more times
And then we can start pushing
I agree with you
But let's wait until everyone's retired
From where they want to be
I might be retired anyways
We can start
We'll start today, right now
Okay, go with your pitch
Okay, look
I'm good at challenges
A lot of other women are too
And there just is this subconscious
Or real assumption
That we need to keep these beefy men around for challenges
And so they're allowed to be a little bit cockier
They're allowed to run their big mouths
Like Deb and Brady
And be super outspoken at tribals
Whereas women try to be a little bit cockier
And try to play a little bit more low-key
To keep themselves safe
And it's not like it was a group of men
That were picking out all the women
And sending them home
You know, women were involved in the vote-outs too
It's brutal nevertheless
And women historically have been a bit disadvantaged
In the first half of the survival game
But more advantaged in the second half
Yes, potentially, for sure
I agree with you
We've talked about it on the podcast this season
A few times
Where it's like
Is it
In an all-star season
That doesn't happen as much
It's more about loyalty
But we did also see that giant whale
At one of the challenges
Which you do need beefy people to hoist that thing
That thing's heavy
And I think the fear is
If something like that comes up again
And you're like
Okay, we did the heavy thing
That we did need a beefy person for
But what if it pops up again?
Before the merge?
Now we're in big trouble
And I think there's a balance between
Where the tribe's just absolutely getting decimated
Where they're like
We don't care anymore
Yeah
But how would you change it?
Is there a way to change that?
To change the potential necessity of beefy men
For challenges?
Early in the game
Early in the game
The tribe dynamic, yeah
Without harming the challenges in so much that
They just look like the
Post-merge challenges
Where it's just
Balance and puzzle
I mean, right
We had two beefy men
And we had Ori and Rob on my team
And we couldn't get the whale over
For about 45 minutes
So Alexis and I climbed on the top
So what I learned is that
Even if we have this subconscious thought
Like we need it
It's actually not as real potentially
As it seems out there
And the challenges come down to
A lot more than just physical, right?
It's the balls at the end
Or the puzzles at the end
So I don't know
It needs to be a big mindset shift
But I think we're talking on a
Societal level here
So I don't know if we can do it
Okay, well then
Also, can we make a pitch for
Protecting the beefy men after the merge?
Sure, fine
I want to protect Ori with my life
Because, I mean
It is crazy to think
Six women out right now
No men voted out
Come the merge
Is it going to shift the other way?
Like, what is your prediction?
Is that what everybody's waiting for?
Is that what the conversation on the island is?
Is like, let's keep the muscle?
Tyson
You're the skinny smart guy
With some athleticism
I don't know
Like, yes
The beefy men get targeted at the end
For a reason
I think it's expected
As in all past seasons
That once this individual challenges
They gotta go too
Yeah, yeah
I sit in the sweet spot there
Where I can beef it up with the dudes
A little bit
Just enough
But then when the merge comes
I'm willowy enough
That nobody looks at me like a target
Yeah, okay
Have you talked to anyone
Through this time?
Like, therapy?
What is something you do
To stay grounded and stay healthy?
You know, almost immediately
When I got home
I signed up for
Some sort of physical challenge
I signed up for a swim race
And as you guys might know
I can only swim backstroke
So I swam a one-mile open ocean swim
Completely backstroke
I was immediately
I needed something to accomplish
Real quick
After a devastating out in Survivor
And after staying in touch with people
It's all good
I really love my cast
They did such a good job
What a squad of characters
Rob doesn't like me that much
He blocked me on everything
That's okay
Okay
Wait
Let's talk about that more
Why?
I think I was one of the few people
Sort of like on our cast
Like overtly calling out
The baloney that was his outing
So I'm just kind of like
Own the quit
You know, we don't have to pretend
The injury anymore
But you saw it at Ponderosa
A lot of sutures
How many sutures?
Zero
Zero
Yeah
Yeah
I don't think we're going to do that
I don't think we're going to do that
I'm like, why are we still doing this?
Like, just drop it
Let's enjoy our brief time here in Ponderosa
I don't mean to keep dwelling on the heartbreak
Of being voted out of Survivor
But I mean, that's
That's why we're all here
Right?
Yeah
Is that devastation still worth the experience?
Yeah, I would say absolutely
It's really a once-in-a-lifetime experience
experience the devastation is real it sits with you for a while
As I'm sure, you know, um, but I'm okay.
If it sits for you, if it sits with you for five more years, still worth it.
Yes. I'm all about experiencing crazy things. Absolutely. Um, my go-to was crazy. I wish it
was a little bit different. I wish I acted a little bit different, tried different things.
I didn't have a lot of time there when those extra votes showed up in my camp.
Yeah. Who do you feel slighted by most? Is it Kilby or the dynamic of the game, the, the,
the extra votes? Like, was it an advantage you get in type situation? Like, are you and Siri
both, uh, I feel consoling each other. I think I feel simultaneously, uh,
hurt the most by Kilby and then the last minute twist, right. With a, with a tribe of two versus
a tribe of three. Let me just tell you the big difference with two large tribes. It's the social
game that leads the chaos. It's who trusts who who's lying to who who's backstabbing,
who, whereas when it broke into three tribes, it's more about the twist and the advantages
leading the chaos. And that's really what happened to me. And the social game can go out the window
and mine did. I didn't have a lot of time to respond at all. And they were saved by an angel
named Maggie who showed up with not one, but two crazy advantages. So what's a girl to do?
And you were not aware that there were two extra votes. Kilby talked about the one. Um,
that's interesting. I've never heard,
that before with the two versus three tribes is that with a smaller tribe, one advantage changes
can change everything. But with two, with a large tribe, you usually have enough of a buffer
to split votes or counteract whatever thing could pop up. So, or you have enough targets that you
can just deviate, uh, away from the one that you think might have something. Okay. Wow. We're still
learning things over here. Uh, Linnea after, uh,
25 years in the biz, uh, Riley or Ashley, anything before we go? Sorry. I, uh, hogged all the time
because we were just having so much fun. Uh, yeah. And I'm the only one that dressed appropriately.
Sorry about that. Uh, yeah. Linnea, um, you run an adult toy store and you mentioned on some of
your preseason stuff that not everybody in your life knew about that. What has it been like to
have that now out in the open? Oh, my poor parents, you know, for the last few years,
as I've become this,
entrepreneurial mastermind with my brother and open for businesses across New York city,
my parents have been telling everyone that I'm unemployed. So they couldn't come up with
something better than that. You know, that's really good. Like an astronaut. Just say you're
an astronaut or something. Cool. Exactly. Uh, yeah, it got outed. I'm kind of happy with it.
I'm like, finally, and no one thinks I'm a bum anymore. So it was a little rough for my parents.
They're over it. It's okay. Okay.
I don't want to make this about me, Linnea. This is about you, but I had a similar experience where
I grew up very conservative in Utah and my first season on token chains. My parents were
absolutely shocked and devastated that the entire country knew who their son was. Now
they came all the way around and are very, very supportive of everything. So, but for a time,
they did let it be known that I ruined it. So, um, I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't
their favorite show for them.
Anyways.
What?
I feel kinship with you.
Yeah, we're bonded forever.
Linnea, sorry to see you go.
And I can't even imagine the heartbreak
of getting advantageated out.
It's so bad.
Look, if I could have done something differently
in those last few moments after trying it all, right?
I talked to Kilby for an hour,
tried to convince him, didn't work.
Everyone was crying.
I wish, I don't even know.
Like I should have kissed Kilby on the mouth.
Like I was out of option.
All I had left was trying to find feminine.
I was willing to try it all, seriously.
I mean, you're the expert.
True.
Would it have worked with Kilby?
I don't know.
It's worth a try.
Guys, I was out of option.
It is worth a try.
It was my last one.
You should have told him you loved him.
Yeah, something else.
I love you.
I love you, Kilby.
Linnea, why didn't you?
Oh, next time.
Next time.
Yeah.
Okay.
Well, that's all the time we have with you, Linnea.
Thank you so much for everything.
Continue your road to healing.
If you need anything, reach out.
Thank you, Tyson and Riley and Ashley.
Yes.
All right, Linnea.
Seems, I mean, we'll talk about it after.
Let's hear from Alexis first.
And then we'll reconvene here and chit-chat about what they said.
Okay, Alexis.
So first and foremost, you wanted the world to know
that you like Riley and Ashley better than me.
What else you got before I formulate my questions in my head?
Because I had some really nice things to ask you.
And now I don't know if I should lead with those.
Do your worst, Tyson.
I'm happy to be here, though.
I really. Y'all's podcast.
This is the one that we listen to, that we have been listening to,
I think probably since you first started doing it.
So good job.
Oh, thank you.
A lifetime of the pod fan.
We love that.
That earns you a spot as a guest in the future.
So we will definitely do that.
But enough about that.
Alexis, what went wrong?
Did you have any idea about the Helicopter Alliance?
Not one inkling.
Not one inkling.
Like, who is hiding that so well?
Is it all Ori?
Or is everybody just kind of keeping distance?
Like, what is. It's Ori.
I mean, it's not like there's a huge group here, right?
So it's no secret that Jeff and Jelly are together.
No doubt in my mind there.
When we get put on the new Sawboo tribe,
when the tribe swap happens,
in my mind, me and Ori need to cling to each other for dear life.
And I'm clinging to him.
And he did a very good job at telling me that we were in it together.
And they didn't really show any of those conversations,
but there were a ton of conversations between him and I.
And I will say there was a moment with the Jenna vote out
when I was running around that island working my ass off like a clown,
doing everything I could do to try to get Jenna on our side
that I believed was a two-person site.
And he was not really.
And I remember he would be like,
you just tell me where to be coach and I'll execute or something.
And I'm like, I had this feeling of like,
I guess he's just not. I guess I'm the one who's going to be the strategic one
and he's just going to execute.
And that's okay if that's what it is.
But in hindsight, I should have probably examined that moment.
And I didn't.
I mean, it's hard because if you get what you're saying,
yes, there are.
There are those red flags in hindsight,
but also if it is what you thought
and now you're thinking more into it,
that's just going to drive you insane.
And also turn them off as you are like,
Ori, you're not with me.
I can tell because you're not putting in the. How do you cross that bridge?
You can't.
Right.
And at a certain point,
my greatest thing I can offer
is just being a reliable, loyal, solid partner in this.
And that's what I. I mean, I was ready to go to rocks for Ori.
Yeah, you were.
He wasn't ready to go to rocks for you.
No, he was not.
Could you have leaned into the women empowering women more?
Because ultimately,
your demise came down to Jelly's decision, it seemed.
Yes.
Do you think leaning into that even harder
would have helped, hurt, not mattered?
I mean, Jelly and I talked for hours.
That day, particularly about the sort of feminist angle there.
And I know that that's who she is.
And I'm that person.
Like, both of us care about that.
Honestly, I don't think Jelly's decision came down
to, like, the identity of it all
as much as she made the right decision
strategically for herself.
There was one person who literally at Tribal Council said,
I will not vote out Jelly.
I will never write down Jelly's name, I think Dev said.
I mean, why would you vote that person out
versus the girl who just yesterday was, you know,
running around saying, I'll vote out either of them?
Yeah, she will need to vote him out at some point.
I do believe, my prediction is that Jelly,
Penn Department will put Devon's name down.
And I think that there will come a time
where she has to distance herself from Devon
or it will be Devon.
It will be to the detriment of her own game.
And I kind of was thinking last night,
last night might've been the time.
Like she, Devon has already been getting on her nerves.
So I was very hopeful for you.
And I don't know if you listened to our podcast
last night already,
but after they showed you kind of scrambling
within that tribe, I was like,
oh, Alexis is gonna have the most upward trajectory today.
I already know my answer for the end of the podcast
that Alexis has played the best.
in this episode.
And so. You said that after seeing the whole episode and knowing that I got out?
No, I said it halfway through the episode when I watched you move.
I was like, okay, I think she did enough work here.
It seems like it's going to work.
And she was perceptive to Jelly, like questioning all the women getting voted out and not wanting that to happen again.
Alexis brought that up, which was exactly a thing Jelly was concerned with.
So from our perspective, it seemed like you'd done all you could do.
Yeah, I got you out.
Did you do all you could do?
I mean, there were like even more things that I did that didn't get shown.
Like I really believe in like lying, saying you have an idol.
I did tell Jenna that the previous vote out.
And I assumed that she had told that to Dev and Jelly because she was telling them everything that I was telling her.
But then Dev came up to me and said, well, I have an extra vote.
And Jelly came up to me and said, I have an idol.
The day of yesterday.
So I was like, well, they think I have an idol, but I'm still outgunned.
Because they have multiple advantages.
So and that was without even knowing that Ori was not on my team.
Have you spoken with Ori since?
Yes, I have.
So I talk to Ori all the time.
And like, I genuinely I love the guy.
Like he did what he thought was right in that in that moment.
And, you know, there's also an aspect.
Of this that I'm not a person of color.
They have a bond that I do not have with them.
And I think it really speaks to like the strength of that bond and kudos to them.
You know, I have nothing wrong with alliances based on identity or whatever bonds you.
Well, that's what you have to go off of, especially early is identity.
Like whatever the identity is, a parent, a man, a woman.
It doesn't matter what it is.
Like.
You know, a big hernia scar on their tummy.
That's that's the alliance I'm looking for.
Next time I go out there.
That could be big.
That could be really big.
Yeah.
Yeah, it doesn't really matter.
Like you go through something, you have commonality.
So I get it.
Alexis, did you tell anyone out there that you're a lawyer?
No.
Why about when you got voted out?
Yeah.
Why didn't you just be like, I am a lawyer of assholes and then flip everybody off and walk out?
Because it doesn't matter.
I'm not an asshole loser lawyer who would say anything like that.
And I don't care.
Like, you know, my job is not my identity, even though funny enough, it really is a personal, like, like calling for me.
But I feel like everybody got to know me very well.
And, you know, there's also a side of me that's kind of like, I think people see me as like a valley girl or like, you know, I talk a certain way and walk a certain way or something.
And I think that's like a great asset and let people underestimate me or think I'm stupid.
I was very happy to be.
I was happy to be that person, no problem being that.
So we talked about identity and now we talk about lawyer not really being your identity, but you are passionate about it.
An all lawyers alliance.
All lawyer alliance would slay.
I mean, look, with the right people, I know plenty of idiot lawyers.
I know plenty of really smart lawyers.
Like, I don't need to get into an all lawyer alliance if it ain't right for me.
But OK.
OK.
I just was wondering if like that would.
If people are passionate enough about being lawyers.
My family thought it was going to go out on Survivor and it was going to be an all lawyer season where nobody is saying that they're lawyers.
That's what we've been dreaming of.
Yeah.
Dreaming of.
I'm dying for it.
Yeah.
Personally, I'm dying for a cops versus lawyers.
That would be great.
Cops versus lawyers.
Yeah.
But the twist for us, Alexis, that we wanted to add to it was at the beginning of the game, you get you don't get whose job is what, but you get a list of people.
You have a list of professions that are represented in the game and they're all fake except for one lawyer and one cop.
So it has one cop, one lawyer, and then it has like goat farmer, milk, milk, dairy farmer.
So it has a bunch of people with commonality.
And so all the lawyers are like, I'm the goat farmer here.
Like you have six goat farmers in the thing.
And a lawyer is obviously going to be like, I'll choose one of them.
There's six of them.
They're never going to be able to keep tabs on who's who.
So I'm just going to start.
Start pretending I'm a goat lawyer like that's or a goat farmer.
That's good.
Goat farmer.
Goats have their own representation, I think, already.
Yeah.
To be fair.
Do you like that idea or do you hate that idea?
And how can we make it better?
I like that idea.
I think it's a bit complicated, but lawyers can figure it out.
Lawyers, if anybody can figure it out.
I don't want to pretend to be a farmer.
I don't think anyone would buy it.
So I would be the first out in that.
I would not make the merge in that one either, sadly.
Well, what would you?
Pretend to be the most like a schoolteacher, a wedding photographer.
I could not do a wedding photographer.
I could be a schoolteacher.
I could be like, you know, I'm a writer who like lives in a cabin.
OK.
Oh, you're going to create a whole fantasy around the back end.
I could.
I'm a storyteller.
OK, Gavin, where's the cabin?
Vermont.
Nice.
Yeah.
Do you farm your own maple syrup?
No.
Too many complicated things.
I'm not.
I'm not familiar.
I'm not familiar with.
I visited Vermont once.
Not familiar with that process.
Can't pull it off.
But if you want to know something funny, me and Ori were convinced that Rob was a cop.
And every single day we'd be like, this fucking cop.
He's a he is a detective.
He's giving like Boston cop.
We were so, so, so convinced.
And when I saw Rob in Ponderosa, my number one question was, I know you're a cop, dude.
He's not a cop.
Did you confront him on it ever?
Did anybody say, like, we think you're a cop in Ponderosa after the game?
Yes.
The second I saw him, I was like, I just need to know if you're a police officer.
He's not.
He's not.
And you think he told you the truth?
So has he been telling the truth about everything then?
Yeah.
I can't decipher true versus not with that man.
That's for him.
For him and his God only.
Um, before we close, how are you feeling about, I don't know if Survivor is your favorite
show of all time, but I'm assuming it's been a dream for a certain amount of time.
Have you come to terms with getting voted out like this early in the game?
Like, what is your process for getting through it?
And, uh, yeah, talk us through that because I think a lot of fans just think like everyone's
so lucky and everybody's so, uh, it's so exciting to be there, but I think there's an extra
layer to, uh, the experience that can be very painful.
Yeah.
I mean, I think I've seen people come on your podcast who were out early or people say publicly,
you know, yeah, I'm out like fifth, but this was the best experience of my life.
This was not the best experience of my life.
Let me be dead clear about that.
The best experience of my life is like my child walking, my husband and I getting married,
winning my first trial, whatever.
This is not the best experience of my life.
I trained for this.
I wanted to win this game.
I didn't want to go out and play around a little and say two lies and then go home.
I didn't.
And I'm someone who likes winning and I'm competitive and I did not do what I wanted
to do.
Period.
This was honestly a colossal failure in my life.
And.
When I'm training, when I was waking up extra early before I had to wake up my child to take
her to school, to then go to court, to like work long days and get home barely in time
for bedtime when I put her down and then practice building a fire, I was not dreaming about
barely making the merge.
I was literally dreaming about an individual immunity necklace on my chest and winning
final four fire making and the argument I was going to make.
And it's so actually hilarious in hindsight that like this first part of the game was
almost a foregone conclusion to me because all I could think about was like, you know,
when things get really real in this game, which I think most of us would consider is
like post merge.
And so it is hard to just be like, yeah, this was a complete failure.
It was.
That's OK.
I have a job.
I have a life.
I'm very fulfilled.
You know, and I came home to people who missed me and I'm very grateful, grateful for all
of those things.
But you do have to wrap your mind around like, I'm not going to sit here and be like, well,
maybe they'll invite me back for second chances, open era.
You know, I don't know.
I have a life.
I have to move on and just accept that like I wanted to do this thing.
I thought I would be a rock star naturally, as we all do.
And I wasn't.
And I got completely plagued.
And that is the game of Survivor.
Truly.
Did you not like smarter than anyone or more capable?
You just have to accept that.
Like, I got got.
With failure, there are oftentimes lessons.
Did you learn anything from your failure here on Survivor?
Your words, not mine.
I'm not saying that.
I don't think you're a failure, Alexis.
But I mean, it's been interesting.
interesting watching it back.
Because on one hand, I think a lot of the edit has been me, like, really trying to maneuver and, like, do this, like, shoe thing and, like, say these silly things and kind of, like, doing hijinks.
But watching it back, I do see myself for, like, I see that I am who I thought I was, which is actually someone who's very loyal, you know, someone who has honesty and integrity, truly.
Like, I'm loyal and I literally spend my life and I spend my time on the island defending other people who I loved and being, like, a steadfast, solid partner to whoever was working with me.
I can't control other people, but I'm, like, I didn't go out there and make a clown of myself or act like someone who I'm not.
Like, I was out there who I am in real life every day, professionally and personally, and I'm proud of that.
Did, was that in your mind while you were playing, like, to make sure that professionally and personally you are the same person out there or that just the way you are?
Like, was there anything on your brain, like, don't, don't be too unlawyery or now when I am representing someone, I'm not going to, they're not going to trust.
I didn't really set out to, like, act a certain way.
It's part of me that, like, I am, like, a fun person.
I don't mind lying.
It's Survivor.
Everybody should tell lies.
I wish I told more lies.
Honestly, like, screw it.
What lie do you regret not telling the most?
But I didn't want to, like, make myself look, like, not even villainy, but I'm, like, I'm not a bad person.
I didn't want to be perceived in any, like, negative ways, I guess.
But when you're out there, honestly, you forget about all of that.
And all of your, all your thinking is just, like.
Like, how do I win this challenge?
How do I get through to tomorrow?
How do I get through with other people?
I mean, that was a big thing for me was, like, I don't want to just live through tonight by myself.
That's why I was, like, ready to go to rocks for Ori.
Because I was, like, if I make it through tonight by myself without him, what's going to happen tomorrow?
They're going to kill me.
So, like, we both need to make it through.
And, like, I will defend that till the day I die that, like, you go further with a team.
Yeah.
So, anyway, you might think you want to be a hero.
You might want to be a certain person on Survivor.
But when you're out there, you have no choice but to just truly be who you are at your core.
And it's nice to be able to watch it and be, like, I'm okay with that person.
Yeah.
Do you think there's people that watch that and are, like, ugh, I hate myself.
I didn't realize that.
Maybe.
Yeah, I do think there are people who watch it and feel embarrassed or ashamed of their behavior.
Yes.
I don't think they change from that.
I think they watch it and they're, like, duh.
And also, like, I'm not that bad.
Yeah.
And, like, I don't even want to discount that.
There is an edit.
This is TV.
Everything's salacious.
But, you know, that's probably the biggest fear of going on TV is, like, oh, God, what if they make me look like a damn fool and way worse than it actually was.
When in reality, what I see is I'm fine with.
And that's really how it kind of went down.
Okay.
Well, you sound good to us.
We try to treat these as a little therapy session free of charge at dance.
Yeah.
I feel therapized, actually.
Do you want to get anything else out before we have Riley ask his hard-hitting question?
I think I'm good for today.
Okay.
Riley, what do you got?
Well, nothing is hard-hitting.
I do have one other question.
Can you take us back to the Jenna vote and the shoes as collateral plan and what was kind of the thought process there?
Okay.
I don't know why this is so confusing to people.
First of all, I'm really offended by the people online who are comparing me to Angelina.
No shade to Angelina, but, like, I wasn't just trying to borrow her shoes because they were cute.
Yeah.
Jenna was telling me, I'm with you.
I'm going to vote out Dev with you and Ori.
Mind you, all of this is premised on the fact that I believe Ori to be working with me.
So when I first get on that tribe, I'm like, okay, this is great.
We're all athletic.
We might win challenges.
And if we don't, I know that Jenna and Dev hate each other.
So she'll vote with us unless she's stupid.
So.
So I'm thinking Ori's working with me.
All we have to do is get Jenna on our side.
She turned out to be a lot more difficult to get on our side than she should have been, assuming all those facts were correct.
Yeah.
And ultimately, I was like, I just cannot figure out if I can trust this girl or not, because she keeps, like, telling Dev everything I'm saying.
So it was just like a barometer to see if she was with me.
If I was going to vote with somebody and they said, give me your shoes, I'd be like, take my shirt.
Take whatever.
Take whatever you want.
I don't care.
I'll be here with you.
I'm in it.
Yeah.
And the second that she said no, I literally went to Jelly and Dev and I was like, Jenna, it is.
Yeah.
Wow.
Yeah.
Okay.
So that's pretty telling.
I mean, I guess her fate was sealed anyways, but that was even more.
Right.
And of course, my own was too.
So in hindsight, it wouldn't have even made a difference, but.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Small tribes or big tribes?
Definitely big tribes.
We had Linnea on.
And she said the difference with a small tribe and a big tribe is in a small tribe, the advantages carry so much weight versus a big tribe where you can still have the numbers to counter an advantage a lot of times.
What I like about Survivor is politics and coalitions and seeing leaders emerge or get themselves into trouble.
And in a small tribe, you don't have that at all.
You have desperation and majority rules.
I agree that small tribes lend themselves to very dramatic moments because of that impact of advantages.
But it's a quick hit versus like watching a large tribe grow over some time.
Yeah.
But that's Survivor.
There was a tribe swap.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That's what happened.
And I couldn't live through it.
And I lost.
Yeah.
That doesn't sound like justification at all.
You're going to be fine, Alexis.
Thank you.
Ashley, you have anything for Alexis?
I do.
Just a sweet little question to get your mind going.
Yeah.
If you would have known that you were doomed that night before Tribal, how would you have spent your last day on camp?
Ooh.
Yeah.
Would you have gone crazy?
I love that question.
Or would you have gone like to go relax?
You're saying like, and there was absolutely nothing I could do.
Yeah.
Because let me tell you something.
What I actually would have done was play on Ori's heartstrings.
Because one thing I know about him is he's a sweet little sucker.
And I should have checked in with him more.
And I should have like, I don't care.
I would be like that guy in Kenzie's season crying.
I should have done that.
It might have worked on him.
So that's what I would do.
I wouldn't be like rejoicing and being on a beach.
But Fiji was beautiful.
What would I have done?
I don't know.
I ate a chicken.
Wreaked havoc.
Eat all the chickens.
Do like, do something.
All of them in the ocean.
That's true.
Listen, they, you know, that saying where like, live each day like it's your last.
Like, what if you were told that that's your last day on Survivor 51?
You know what I would have done?
I would have used a spear and I would have gone out and tried to go fishing.
Because I really wanted to do the spear fishing.
It was always like what I thought was cool in Survivor.
And on the first off, we tried, we had the fishing gear.
Eric went out and like, you think to yourself, we got time.
I'll go out.
I'll do it.
That is on my bucket list for the season.
I'll do it at some point.
I did it.
I should have done it.
Day two.
Have you ever been to Mexico?
You can hire people to take you out spear fishing.
Right.
But that's not as fun.
It's more fun, actually, because they prepare the fish.
For you and stuff after you bring it up.
That's true.
So I should just go to Mexico and this will all be forgotten.
I think I thought that you were in a place where you were going to forget it.
But now it seems like maybe we have to talk longer here.
Alexis, get you out of it.
How long are you going to be thinking about this?
Not too long.
I don't think.
OK, well, I think that's the case.
And yeah, you had a great run.
I think you did.
From my perspective, pretty much everything you could do with the knowledge you had.
I would have liked a better answer for what would you have done on your last day.
Like spear fishing is fine.
But like destroying the entire camp and taking everything they had with you on your exit would have been really powerful to me.
Like I should have done that.
You're right.
Yeah.
I don't even know what that tribe had, but like get the if there's a tarp, you fold that up.
Put it in your bag.
Take all the fire making stuff.
Take the machete.
There are people that take that stuff home as souvenirs at the end.
But why not take it with you to every tribal in case so you have a souvenir when you exit then?
Actually, what I would have done is given like Ori even afterwards.
I was like, you know what?
Go get it, buddy.
I get it why you did it.
Love you.
Move on.
Kill it.
I would have given him like some beads or something and been like, use this.
Yeah.
This will get it.
I'm good.
Real good.
Yeah.
Yeah.
you know what to do next like something super cryptic where dev and amazing line like that yes
yeah this is exactly how we planned it now next step for you ori go get them bud like you knew
everything the whole time exactly incredible that would have blown up the helicopter alliance
something like that um anything else before we close uh riley or ashley no this has been great
um alexis any closing remarks anything you need the world to know uh nothing i need the world to
know other than i wasn't asking for jenna's shoes because they were cute
okay yes yeah that's it that's the that's the number one thing were they cute though or these
didn't yeah i hate it i don't know it was just irrelevant didn't consider it yeah completely
irrelevant yeah i'm because i'm like did i see jenna's shoes i don't know that i did but uh
tyson yeah i think
i got the idea from you i swear i don't know why it came into my head but i think that you have
talked on this pod repeatedly about some incident you had where you went home with something or
someone went home with one of your belongings yeah yeah somebody took my pants uh laura morett
uh asked for my pants because she thought that we might be voting her out and i immediately gave
her my pants and then it's like here you go and then i just was in a swimsuit and underwear for
the last
like week of the game um and then i had another radical idea where you burn people's stuff a
little bit but you also burn all of your stuff so everybody has to lend you stuff so you've got
everybody else's stuff on and you're like the baby that needs to be taken care of i think there's a
dynamic there where you could make yourself the victim enough like that where people know where
they're just like oh he's got my sweater on i can't vote him out and he has nothing
else to wear so like he also and i'm kind of he's under my wing because i've been clothing him and
and all of that stuff like is the baby bird technique uh strategy not a thing would that
not work it's kind of giving like leech on resources and let's get this person i know
but if you don't go to tribal council you're gonna have 10 on calling you a bottom feeder
for sure but the strategy that's fine though that's fine if it works
it's fine like you've got one sock from somebody another sock from somebody else like if everybody
comes to you at the same time they're like can we hold on to our items just for this tribal council
you'll know something's up so alexis thank you so much for your time we loved watching you on
the show we were i was excited halfway through this episode to start seeing the rise of alexis
because i i felt like it was on its way uh but you know
i would if i were you probably quit your job focus on training for uh second chances and uh
think about that continuously and non-stop and exclusively until that time comes
thank you so much tyson that means a lot yeah uh that's it that's all we have uh
thank you all right ashley who's going to be thinking about their exit longer uh
i think
alexis i feel like it might be alexis you think you think she's masking hiding it a little bit
the pain she called it a failure and i was like damn she's pretty honest about that it was not
a failure she did amazing um everyone knows how good she was as a player like we all saw it as
i feel so bad that she thinks it's a failure and that alone makes me think like oh this is
going to be on her mind for a bit
uh that could be but i also i've failed at a lot of things in my life and i don't dwell on a lot of
those moments where i feel like i've failed uh failed at uh pro cycling i was not the superstar
i had dreamed of becoming um i've lost a lot of bike races i've lost survivor three times out of
four um i've lost other game shows i don't know that i'm saying that i've lost a lot of bike races
i'm saying that i'm not calling them failures per se uh and i haven't really thought of it that way
but when we do quantify what uh failing is i would consider those failures yeah they always say a
successful cyclist retires a uh failure ends up having to quit the sport and i ended up having
to quit the sport so yeah that's it i don't think about that every day
it makes me sad when i think about it uh when you make me think about it like i'm
i mean i'm cycling specifically that's like those those races are like whatever 100 plus riders
and only 100 yeah like only yeah only one can win i mean there's a lot to compete for besides
winning and you're working as a team accomplishments they're accomplishments
all of these are like it's i don't think being voted off like the sixth boot of survivor
three is a good thing i think it's a good thing i think it's a good thing i think it's a good thing
51 is ever going to be a failure i don't think that um your cycling career was a failure i think
it was a step in your very long and successful career um as a public personality i i i i feel
like failure is not trying and i feel like it's just a bummer that it is something that is viewed
as as a failure for a few players even if you get you're the first boot i think going and trying
and being in fiji is not a failure maybe what rob did might be a failure because he quit over
something really silly i don't know but definitely with linea and uh alexis this what they got so far
it's not a failure it's an accomplishment and you tyson everything you've done even getting
voted off like three whatever if you got voted off six more times still an accomplishment of
what you guys have done so it's just it bums me out to hear the word failure when it comes to
joining the cast of survivor or any of these career defining changes so bummer for me not a
failure for y'all yeah and you're right you are right and i don't feel like when i look back i'm
not like that was a failure that was a waste of time it's it's like i still understand that a lot
of those moments defined me and gave me life experience and life lessons and i was doing the
thing i wanted to do in the moment which also isn't a failure because i was able to not go to college
because i went to race bikes in europe instead and so there's a lot of stuff there though and
like it wasn't even that cycling was my passion it was that not going to college and getting a
cubicle job was my passion yeah yeah see there you go so um yeah and so like yeah and i agree
but i can also quantify it i think and as like it's not the success that i had dreamed for myself
to do it um and so i i yeah failure is a strong word for it but um yeah i think i don't know what
about you riley what do you think about uh linea and alexis um well loved uh alexis giving us the
shout out early and then also you know her honesty about like not like i i get a little bit annoyed
when people are like voted out very early and they come in they're like no regrets at all like
this was just the experience of lifetime or whatever and i'm like really you went home on
day five no regrets yeah like i think you should probably have some regrets um so i i really really
appreciated her answer there even though i totally think that she'll be fine she'll move forward and
and get over it and you know it's like there's a lot to learn from failure as well as success and
so it's um it can still be a very cool experience even if you're not doing it right and so i think
if you're like i had a totally different vision for how that was going to go yeah it's something
she'll always have they'll both always have it like it's makes great conversation like anywhere
you go where you're in a crowd of people they'll always be someone who's like and did you know
they were on survivor and then you get a group of people sitting around as you
regale them with tales of your adventures um
so yeah i kind of thought uh i also appreciated linnea's honesty and uh being devastated and
hurt and confused and upset and uh and she's she was positive enough to kind of joke about it but
also be real yeah so they're both going to be okay they both have great things going on outside
of survivor um yeah this isn't there they were also both in positions too where
it's like there wasn't that much they could have done differently they were kind of drawing dead
like sometimes we get people where it's like oh if you've just done that one thing differently you
know if you had not done that one thing yeah or not done that one thing you literally had an idol
with you or whatever you know and that's like oh that's gonna eat them up for a long time yeah this
is like hey look you know you got swapped onto the tribe with the helicopter alliance like once they
tribal a second time, it was over for you or, you know,
Maggie came in with two extra votes.
Like, what were you supposed to do in that situation?
There's nothing you could have done.
So that probably takes some of this thing away.
Yeah, you're right.
Ashley, any more remarks on these two
before we go to our next segment?
I like them.
I like them both.
Alexis is very calming.
She has a very chill vibe to her, which I enjoy.
And I think it was probably really nice to have on the island.
And then Linnea is really funny.
And I'm just bummed that we didn't get to see more of them.
I really wish that we would bring back the longer days there.
And I want longer episodes.
I just feel like we just aren't getting enough.
Even longer episodes?
Yeah, more, more.
Maybe I want like, I want big brother coverage.
Oh my God, three or four episodes a week?
Yeah, and then like we watch them while they sleep.
I want to know everything about these people.
I think that's what Australian Survivor does.
I mean, they do multiple episodes a week.
Yeah, they do.
I've not actually watched, but I know this, yeah.
Well, it'd be nice.
We're just missing out on,
like we're getting to know these people afterwards.
And it's like, I didn't know,
like with Anna, we didn't know how fun she was
until we talked to her later.
We would know this if we were watching them sleep.
But the thing is, is that that's something
that only we get for ourselves here on The Pod Has Spoken.
That's true.
So yeah, so we have that content for you.
Maybe you should subscribe to see more.
Yeah, exactly right.
And with that, let's move into our,
what we missed from last night,
a couple things from the fans.
The two things from our listeners
that I thought were pretty interesting this week.
First of all,
Lewis went through Carter's bag,
ended up stirring up the clue,
which then put the extra vote,
in Maggie's hands.
And then it came back full circle
when she gave Lewis and Kilby an extra vote.
So they were like,
nobody even talked about how his actions
led to him being saved down the road.
Yeah.
That's lovely.
Because if he wouldn't have found that,
Carter would have probably gotten that clue
and it would have been,
they wouldn't have had the extra votes to do it.
Yeah.
Best Lewis episode yet, for sure.
Oh my gosh.
There were like a million things that had to go
the way that they did for Linnea to go home
in this episode, basically.
Yeah.
That's one of them.
And that's one of them,
is the fact that Lewis got that extra vote
for his tribe in that moment.
And yeah, obviously Maggie still had to be the one
to go on the journey and all of those things.
And then secondly,
it was more of a question from a listener
about Kilby making the decision to go with Lewis
and what factored into that,
which was the future.
Like with two people going home this episode,
which they knew two people would go home.
Now they're at 14.
Is there a part of them?
Like they're always guessing.
You're always guessing what production's
going to throw at you next.
Is there a part of Kilby that's like,
maybe it's going to be,
split into two tribes of seven after this.
And so I can, you know,
maybe maneuver and know that we're going to be swapped.
And otherwise I'm going to be the enemy next time.
Like what all factors into Kilby's decision here?
And specifically that, like,
did he make the right decision?
I don't know.
I guess we'll see.
I feel like he made some real enemies
and he was going to make enemies either way.
So now you have to quantify like,
is making an enemy of Maggie plus whoever she can convince
that you're an enemy worth more or less
than making the old Savu's enemies?
Yeah.
I mean, I think it would have been easier to sell to Maggie
that was just like, hey, after some thought,
like I wasn't going to be able to go to rocks or whatever.
And then,
and by the way,
we still have this extra vote.
Let's use that.
I think you could smooth that over.
I just feel like,
I don't know if,
if I am those Savu's and it's not a swap or something in this next episode,
I'm just a hundred percent throwing the challenge to get Kilby out.
I'm like, this guy's dead to me.
Yeah.
Okay.
Okay.
Which is not something I would have done if,
you know,
if Lewis goes home,
you obviously the Savu's still have the numbers for one,
but I'd be like,
you know,
we're not going to throw the challenge.
I'm just going to get Kilby out here.
We might be able to work with them.
Yeah.
But put yourself in Kilby's shoes.
That's what I want you to do right now.
Yeah.
You're in Kilby's shoes.
Maggie comes with this plan.
You're weighing everything.
You're looking at the future.
You know,
two people are getting voted out that night.
What decision are you making?
I,
I mean,
I think I wouldn't have been like,
this is this plan,
and feels like theatrics for like the,
the flip side is he's it locks him in insanely good with like Lewis and Maggie.
And yeah,
especially whoever,
especially Lewis and whoever else they're bringing in.
Yeah.
Which can be good.
But the thing that I don't like is I feel like it makes him this huge target.
And like one,
because he made this like huge move and,
and people will know he's locked into these,
this group,
now that they now need to break up and everything else.
But then two,
it's also like,
you just have enemies who feel like they were burned by you.
And so I,
I don't know.
I don't think it's a very good long-term move.
It's great TV.
Everyone loved it last night.
You know,
the audience loved it,
but I,
I feel like this would not have been the move I would have made.
I would have been a little more conservative here.
Yeah.
Do we need to like,
think about how many people,
people Kilby is like kind of pissed off on the cast because Devin doesn't like him.
So then that's the whole helicopter alliance is against Kilby right there.
Right.
You have Brady who's mad at Kilby still about the controller thing.
He is not good and over it probably.
And then Brady has a bunch of people on his side.
Him and Eric were annoying everybody.
Everybody.
And then now he blindsided Eric.
So now maybe Eric is,
is feeling some sort of way.
There's a lot of people that he's,
he's like burned bridges with.
So was this a good move?
I don't know.
I think he has a lot less numbers than he did before.
And I don't think that's,
it's,
I don't know Kilby.
I think he should have done what we talked about yesterday with Rizzo in pulling Eric in.
And not,
not like saying,
Hey,
what should we do?
Just saying,
this is what we're doing.
We have extra votes.
Come with us.
We're letting you know.
And who do you trust from Savu?
Who are we targeting from Savu?
Like someone from Savu is going home.
Eric,
tell us who we should go with.
And maybe then it's a soft,
easier sell to Maggie to be like,
Hey,
we pulled in who we trusted from Savu.
And then like we didn't go with Linnea.
But whatever the men,
maybe it's still Linnea who knows.
But I think that's the smartest way.
And I think with survivor,
you always have to figure out how to keep the most amount of people happy while getting your bidding done.
Okay.
Riley.
Yeah.
You had a question for me.
I had a question come through.
We do our Instagram DMs,
which if you're not following that account,
you can.
And if you DM the right question,
maybe sometimes we will ask it on this pod.
So this one comes from Gabriel and,
or sorry,
Gabriel.
And he,
he's asking about kind of Lewis's blood idol ring.
And he's asking how thoroughly this production search you before you actually start playing survivor.
Like if I strapped,
let's say a bracelet of some kind that could pass as an idol to my,
let's say leg before starting the game,
would I get caught?
And what about other parts of his body?
Purely theoretical.
He wants to,
uh,
emphasize this question.
Yes.
Yes.
No,
I fully understand what he's saying.
Like,
can you sneak stuff into prison?
Um,
yep.
Most probably Lewis got this ring passed off because it's an Irish,
uh,
wedding ring,
uh,
traditional Irish ring or whatever.
He most probably got it passed off by wardrobe.
And what happens is you send your wardrobe in and you don't get anything else on your body other than the wardrobe you submitted and got approved.
And so jewelry,
everything is the same.
You have to send whatever jewelry you want to wear.
My favorite,
like chain that I like to wear.
I had to submit that like a month or two in advance,
all of that stuff.
And then the day of the game,
starts, they bring you your clothes and it's all like in bags.
And they used to, I don't know if they still do, make you change in front of them.
So you'd strip down and they hand off all your gear and then you put on the stuff.
And I've also heard tales of people actually keistering matches, I think.
I think Richard Hatch supposedly did that on All-Stars, something like that.
I don't know if they got through some of that stuff.
I mean, if you're going to take those lengths, keistering something, sure, it'll get through.
But the second that they see that it's being utilized out there, they would take it away.
So if that ring was in the game when it shouldn't have been, production most likely would have stepped in and been like, hey, this isn't part of the game.
You got to, this wasn't approved.
So I'm for certain.
And that ring was part of his wardrobe.
And then he just had the plan to use it.
And so he just never wore it.
As soon as he got it, he just put it in his bag.
He definitely had some sort of, yeah, like, I feel like that should raise some suspicion from production too, that he has this ring that he's made it through.
And it seems like he wasn't wearing it or showing it off.
He'd like hidden it away.
Yeah.
And it's like, well, hold on.
You came here with a piece of jewelry.
You came here with a piece of jewelry that you're now not showing every other contestant.
That we actually can't allow.
Yeah.
I had a headband, like a terrycloth headband on Winners at War.
And they were like, we'll approve this if you're just, if you're going to wear it sometimes.
And I wore it like the marooning and that's basically it.
And it wasn't for anything.
It was just like any extra piece of clothing you can get out there, you got to go for it.
Just because you never know when.
When a piece of cloth is going to come handy.
And I didn't really wear it after that first day or two.
And that's just like, I don't think production's really recognizing that.
I think maybe now they will more if that's a thing that they care about.
But maybe season 53 will have 60 pieces of jewelry all hidden away from people who submitted them and then didn't use them.
So now the idea.
Is to get the most immunity idol looking article of jewelry approved for your wardrobe.
Yep.
Yep.
Yes.
And then immediately stuff it in your bag and wait.
Yeah.
Yeah, exactly.
What if you like, you submit your camp shoes, but you had sewed some Sour Patch Kids or something inside.
Like x-ray that stuff.
Yeah.
That's right.
Why you submit out early.
Yeah, you submitted early because they look through your stuff.
Like they'll look through the stitching, they'll feel it, they'll do, they go through it pretty thoroughly.
Although coach on Heroes versus Villains had a string saw as a necklace.
Like you can find like a saw necklaces or saw chains or something.
And so you wrap them around either finger and then you can.
Yeah, you can wrap them around your finger and then you can put them around your finger and then you can put them on your finger and then you can put them on your finger.
And he had that as his piece of jewelry with like a trinket on it.
So it did just look like a necklace.
Wow.
The saw thing didn't work hardly at all.
Like he pulled it off and we tried it a time or two and it was like, oh, this thing's garbage.
But people do try to sneak stuff like that on like some survivor rope style jewelry that is then like a 200 foot cord.
Like that's, that's too obvious.
But people will try and get stuff on.
That they think is helpful.
I've heard people change the prescription of their glasses to actually be magnifying glasses so they can start fires with them.
So any single lens fire that's been started in the past has most probably been a modified prescription.
That's not an actual prescription of that person.
So, yeah, you can go through links.
Also, Heroes versus Villains.
I was going, I went in for a.
Prescription of sleeping pills and their allergy prescription.
And I knew, and then I switched the bottles and brought my, the allergy prescript, the sleeping pills in the allergy medication and submitted them to production.
I was going to submit them to production because I knew they'd give you allergy medication, but not sleeping medication.
And you can't sleep out there because it's impossible.
So I thought this will be great, but I got a little scared to do it.
I didn't want to get caught.
So I told coach about it and he did it.
Oh.
Yeah.
So he had an out and then they're like, try to go without your allergy medication.
So like on day two, coach is like, I'm so allergic to everything.
Can I please just have my medication?
And they're like, okay.
And then there's a couple nights where the Villains tribe is just totally knocked out because we all took prescription sleeping medication to get a good night's sleep.
So, yeah, there's ways.
Like if you are outside the box thinker and know the system, you can figure it out a little bit.
Incredible.
So, and Lewis, first, first time player to, I'm sure that was a plan of his to use that ring from the get go from the moment he submitted it.
So, uh, good job on him for having that plan.

Summary:
FAQs
Linnea felt betrayed by Kilby, as their alliance wasn't shown on screen despite being strong from day one. She also felt devastated by the sudden, last-minute vote, which made her feel targeted and left without a clear path forward.
Maggie received two extra votes, which directly influenced the vote-out. Linnea believed this was a major twist that made her feel like she was a target and that the social dynamics were manipulated.
In smaller tribes, advantages have a much greater impact. With only two tribes, the vote was heavily influenced by unexpected advantages, making it harder to counteract and leading to sudden shifts in the game.
No, Alexis had no prior knowledge of the helicopter alliance. She only learned about it after watching the episode, realizing that Ori was working with her and that the alliance was hidden from her during gameplay.
Alexis remained loyal and strategic throughout, focusing on building trust with allies like Ori. She viewed her elimination as a failure, but later reflected that her actions were honest and consistent with who she is off-camera.
Linnea felt her goals weren't met—she trained to win, not to go out early or play around. To her, it was a personal and professional failure, not a fun experience, even though she acknowledged the game's emotional depth.
