‘Survivor 50’ Live Finale and Reunion Reactions! | The Pod Has Spoken

Survivor Season 50’s live finale delivered a powerful, emotionally charged experience marked by real, unscripted reactions. A pivotal moment occurred when Jeff revealed Rizzo had lost in fire, triggering a massive audience gasp and a deep emotional ripple through the cast and viewers. The episode highlighted authentic emotional responses—particularly from Tiffany, who openly expressed betrayal and anger—contrasting with the show’s typical curated post-loss positivity. Aubrey, with her deep scars from her first season and near-victory at the final tribal, emerged as a compelling, emotionally resonant final contender. Rizzo’s strategic alignment with Jonathan and Joe to avoid direct threats was seen as a smart move, though it raised questions about the dynamics between players who had similar game styles. Key moments like Aubrey’s emotional outburst, Jonathan’s physical exhaustion, and the final immunity challenge underscored the show’s focus on raw human emotion. While the live finale had a few missteps—most notably Jeff’s unscripted commentary—these flaws contributed to the episode’s authenticity and memorability. The season concluded with strong social and emotional undercurrents, emphasizing that true Survivor storytelling lies in vulnerability, not perfection. Viewers and analysts alike praised the emotional depth, real-time reactions, and the way past betrayals shaped final decisions, making the finale one of the most emotionally impactful in recent memory.

the first time they've had a live finale since season 39 and we get the episodes from cbs early i don't think that's any secret and we almost recorded early earlier in the day but we thought what if something happens at the live reunion that we need to talk about and that people will expect us to talk about we should wait until that happens which thank god we did because jeff i mean there was some stuff that happened but first of all we made survivor history yeah we did survivor history actually what was going through your brain when that happened when jeff started talking to rizzo about losing in fire because before we saw him lose in fire honestly i was gonna whisper over to riley and i was gonna say hey did jeff just spoil this like i thought it was like a subtle spoil and then it just got so dead quiet in the entire studio and that's when i knew something was really wrong yeah and then jeff was like wait and he just lost all his character and i was like okay that's it the gasp that went through that was amazing was there a gasp yes yeah it was a big like it was loud it was really really wild it was great i thought because i do it a lot i'll just tune out and i thought i tuned out and like i woke up and jeff was talking about rizzo losing i was like i looked at rachel and i was like did did we see rizzo losing fire and she's like what and i was like did we see the i don't think we saw the fire making yet and she's like and i was like nobody's saying anything so maybe maybe i'm i guess i yeah so i thought that i was the idiot and no it wasn't that was a great i've never i've never seen that from jeff i think you know you're rusty obviously you haven't done a live reunion or finale and i liked it i like that we got to see that we got to see it real time yeah i did i really enjoyed it and he did like he did such a good job of kind of recovering after that yeah and sort of turning it into a bit of a joke and like making fun of it i mean i'm sure he was feeling some sort of way internally but externally it's like oh this is a guy who has been hosting a reality show for 26 years and even though not very much of that is live that experience just came through and yeah i mean it actually kind of made this finale a little bit more special like in the end not such a bad thing yeah i we talk about 50 we're going to talk about the finale episode we're going to get as deep into it as we can because a lot has happened today that's the most memorable thing from the season honestly like you were creating history you were doing this and that you were creating all these twists i think the blunder at the finale is the thing i'm going to remember the most maybe it's because i was there in person but i've just never seen that before from jeff and i i know like it was a team effort like there were people behind in his timing like whatever they'd rehearsed was different than what actually like the cut off for the show and everything but that's to me gonna be yeah the cross on the t the final like the thing of season 50 yeah it definitely is that and also watching aubrey run to that car i think those are my favorite moments of the entire it took so long it was like where's she going a mile and a half a mile and a half should you go all the way out oh man did you like that they gave the car to the winner no i felt like somebody it's also because it's already two million dollars what if she would have won fan favorite as well uh you know no i feel like it these things i like if they go out to separate people yeah i do too and i was on a season where jt won fan favorite and the million dollars so we won 1.1 million dollars yeah and i'm like what the fuck is that dude yeah that's not right yeah that's not right but obviously if i were to win and then also win the fan favorite that would be okay to do it one time yeah but not for jt that's some bullshit i thought i thought for a second that they were going to give the entire cast cars and i was like oh this will be kind of cool and then i realized oh no it's the winner getting a car yeah the person who just won the two million also gets the car so if you're aubrey are you leaving or are you leaving the survivor logo on the side of it probably uh usually you get the option i've heard with these there it's not that's the not exact car that she's getting she's going to have an option or an allotment to choose a model and she's not going to have the sticker but i think often you get the option to just take cash too right because yeah if you accept the car you have to pay taxes on it so if you can't float the money which obviously she can is having just won the two million dollars but if you can't float the money for the taxes you're like oh i don't even want the car just give me the car i don't even want the car just give me the car i don't even want the car i don't give me the money for it and i'll pay the also have to pay taxes on but now you have the money to do so correct she has the money to pay the taxes though right like two million dollars sure so hypothetically let's say you win survivor they give you a car it has the survivor 50 logo on the side you're leaving it on there are you gonna get scrape that off i'm keeping it like i'm gonna be a target i'm the winner yeah but you're gonna park it at a mall and somebody's gonna be like this is ashley's car i'm parking it in front of my house so everyone can see if the hoa gets mad like whatever i won so what about it yeah i got the money to pay the fines exactly yeah okay riley you leaving the sticker on there now they know you have the money to pay the fines you're a target they are talking to you yeah no i'm i'm like just give me the equivalent in cash i have a car i don't need another car you know if you give me another car what am i gonna do i'm gonna sell that car yeah so uh just just give me the money straight up anyways okay yeah yeah that wasn't even part you could that wasn't even an option for the question riley it was what was the option leaving the sticker on or not yeah no i'm scraping it off i have to keep the car yeah because i'm a target then they know i just won two million dollars yes i don't need to advertise that yeah ashley doesn't care i don't care i didn't give a shit dang you want everyone to know you're like i want everybody to know i worked really hard on this i'm not gonna go back i'm leaving the sticker on the car if survivor or cbs is paying the insurance on the car oh okay that's the deal yeah i'm advertising but not for free that's a good point yeah see yeah this is why you're so savvy with these things yeah let's uh let's get into the start of the episode here okay we have the final five and uh rizzo opens up with words can't describe what it feels like to be there and then he goes on to describe what it actually feels like to be there yes he's a word wizard like he just is good he's really good at talking yeah i feel like in some ways he flexes that muscle too much at tribal council at times right because you could tell that people were like i don't want him at final tribal council because he is such a good talker it's like you're just you're kind of like putting a little bit of an x on your back right well what i liked too so we get that and he is very good and i mean people said like aubrey was like i can't be with rizzo he's too good at talking at tribal council i don't know if pleading his case he's going to be as powerful he might he could uh i don't i i'm not saying he couldn't we haven't seen him at final tribal council we don't know like is he lowercase goat or is he uppercase goat like what is he um i liked how upset tiffany was that things didn't go her way that she got betrayed and she wasn't hiding her emotion and that's i think something i've missed in the new era of survivor is the moments where you're like how come nobody's pissed right here like everybody's happy everybody's fun we do get moments of contention but i i thought that that this season like that really stood out where she was like called aubrey on her bullshit and stuck to it i agree i i do say i think that maybe she wasn't as pissed as we think she was you think she played it up a little bit honestly i think that everyone else thought she was more pissed than she was okay and i feel like um when it comes to like ozzy or jonathan when they were blindsided during their tribals they came back they're upset yeah and they're able to be a little pissy with people tell them that they that they want some space right that they want to be left alone um tiff has done that twice and both times everyone was like she is pissed and i find that kind of strange that she's not allowed to speak her mind well to be a little pissed i mean she did get there joe calls her a hypocrite and immature oh my god from joe dude joe joe come on what what what he he gets so mad sometimes okay but then why is this different then yes actually because so tiffany gets mad we like that but joe gets all no i also like that but i agree call her a hypocrite no why did he call her he called her he called her immature okay yeah then i don't agree that's what it is yeah i do remember him saying it was immature and inexcusable uh which also he can't say but have an hypocrite i mean he's wrong for sure but i like it for the show yeah that the both of these players bring that type of energy because i i do agree we get too much of like when somebody gets voted out or betrayed or whatever and they're all like no regrets all good feelings like no worries this was such an experience of lifetime and i'm like you i thought this was your dream yeah and your torch just got snuffed shouldn't you be upset about that yes so i love that tiffany you know is upset about that yeah i love that tiffany is upset about that is is in her feelings about it and then even if it's the totally wrong reaction i love that joe is like yeah like let's go i love when people get angry on survivor it's reality tv it's classic yeah i i agree i just think it's funny of all people joe and then he talks about how he used to be that way it was like literally like six hours ago like yesterday today probably this morning like what are you i used to be that way he's so funny he's so funny he's so funny he's so funny for that oh my god he's so good he's so good but it's not on purpose right no he's not like he says it's so genuinely like oh my gosh he means it it's so funny and the argument with tiff and aubrey where aubrey was like no he wasn't coming for you and she's like yeah you were don't say that you weren't yeah yeah and aubrey again tried i honestly in that moment watching that i was like aubrey might not win like if she doesn't admit to targeting tiffany in some capacity here it's worse for her game her end game yeah it was my thoughts i was like uh-oh uh-oh this is not going to be good if if aubrey sticks to her guns and keeps continuing to say i didn't and when tiffany believes in her heart yeah and aubrey did finally be like okay yeah you're right that is true um she did tell tiff told me that after she got some good sleep and ate some pizza at ponderosa yes she was able to just think it over a little bit and like yeah okay aubrey finally was honest with me everything makes sense and aubrey was like the best person to win for survivor but she she voted for aubrey for sure yeah she definitely did yes she did but yeah it's i i didn't enjoy seeing i i like seeing them on the screen together because they have such interesting chemistry um i like that they showed her being so mad at aubrey because we didn't see them kind of break up anyways right so this was a great way to kind of show them not getting along and like their dynamic towards the end of the show so i i really liked i really really liked that scene i was like yeah cuss her out tiff like show us like how you really feel yes i think so too i think in that moment i'm assuming aubrey was like okay i've been on good terms with her we've been friends we've worked together she's not gonna be mad or maybe she expected her to be mad or i don't know i think it would go one of two ways like if i betrayed a friend i would feel like either they're going to accept it and acknowledge that i had to do it or they're gonna be doubly pissed yeah yeah like and you hope that it's the first but in this case it wasn't um so but i liked it i like that you got to see the emotion i think that that's one thing that you know we especially in the new era you see a lot of people like i'm so happy to be here i'm just grateful for the experience yeah this is two million dollars there's five people left life life changing money you're in you everybody can taste it everyone's planning on how they're going to spend this money yeah like how they're envisioning their life and the changes it will have once this is deposited in their bank account yeah so to rip that from somebody hurts and i want to see exactly how much it hurts yes yeah exactly and not because we want to see somebody get tortured because we want to know that you want it as bad as we would want it yeah if we were there yeah yeah that's the the survivor experience right yes an experiment to see how people react in the situation yeah and if we don't see like real human like reactions to stuff then why are we watching right right um and i'm going to see if we can see if we can see the episode earlier without the live stuff so if i miss any live stuff that happened that you guys remember jump in well we got a few trinkets handed out to some of these contestants so we had siri got her trophy yep um which i thought was 3d printed when i saw it but part of it was wood and it had like a nice brass thing on the front with some plastic in the middle oh okay okay like plastic lava stuff okay wow the mr beast money didn't go into that we got devin's got his coin back yes i thought it was pretty cool i liked that i thought it was cool i wish he actually flipped that so like instead of it like the trophy is sort of like it's kind of a fake thing that they just made up yeah yeah the coin is like oh yeah if i were devins like that thing is do you see how big the coin was i didn't realize how big it was i was sitting right behind boston rob yeah and when siri got her trophy rob looked at me he's like what are we doing now i'm just giving presents to everybody participation trophy i don't know i agree three should be acknowledged i think she was acknowledged great i think winning the fan favorite a hundred thousand dollars is probably the prize like the additional spirit of survivor is like a thing that jeff just decided to like come up with yeah whoever's idea that was uh but yeah i don't disagree that that is siri but i don't think that we needed a trophy in a separate award probably not because now what are they gonna do that next season is 51 gonna have everyone gets a trophy everyone gets is there gonna be a spirit of survivor for season 51 is there is are the next all-stars they're gonna have something i thought it was a more like a lifetime achievement award yeah that's what i felt okay so like it's gonna be so is this like you gotta rise to siri's level oh to be able to get it which is gonna be quite difficult to do you think other people are gonna get this award in the future no i don't think we're ever gonna see we're never gonna see the spirit of survivor award i wouldn't i would not bet on it goes to rizzo probably boston rob plays but plays for a sixth time and doesn't win are they gonna give him a different award because he because he has one though he has one yeah so i feel like if you're a winner it's kind of like you know yeah you're kind of past that okay okay it's probably gonna go to rizzo in like 10 years you think the spirit of survivor award yeah because he's gonna keep coming on so and i don't know if he's ever gonna learn how to make fire so like he learned but he's gonna forget i'm gonna talk to him tomorrow for extra press we're talking to everybody we talked to everybody on the red carpet that we could get to um if i play with rizzo ever in the future i'm not i'm not playing again we'll work on that everybody at the cat what should happen is they should just drag him to fire every season just because that's his thing now it's just like as much as francesca has to be voted out first every season because she's the only person to be voted out first twice you voted her out they're on the same season rizzo versus francesca francesca has to go out first and rizzo has to go to fire okay and i need that every time it's a long play for rizzo i honestly is like that was really smart because now if you have any sense of humor about you at all as a survivor contestant you have to try your damnedest to get risotto fire again like you just have to i like it i like it riley i would be scared actually like if i were actually on a beach with rizzo now i would be like let's say this is several years from now because you know he's not coming back yeah yeah several isn't oh yeah right uh you know i would imagine he will have spent all seven of those years practicing fire quite a lot i mean like if there's one person on this beach that now i will bet has made the most fires it will be rizzo oh my god i was gonna say he becomes an arsonist just to like practice fires, burning stuff down. burning stuff down illegally probably is he's like the first suspect now like who did this Riz God Riz God the RZRG Jody baby yeah the myth the legend yeah no wait we didn't get through all of the awards that were handed out yes because the best one was the t-shirt to Ozzy which he says oh great I get a t-shirt yeah oh a t-shirt I don't know if that was the reaction that Jeff was looking for in that moment but for me yes exactly perfect honestly the best line of the season for me there's a lot of one the ones that the one that is most memorable is when Jeff goes Ozzy the original jungle boy and Ozzy goes jungle man so Ozzy just like two grand slams here oh need a t-shirt oh great a t-shirt he said oh Sari gets a trophy oh great I got a t-shirt and I tried to get a t-shirt they were standing right in front of me throwing them out but I also just had surgery so I didn't want to like jump and grab stuff and fight somebody and I also was like I have so many free t-shirts at my house that I already don't wear but I would have won the Ozzy I would have won the Ozzy one tonight for this oh yeah if one of us had gotten one of the Ozzy t-shirts we would be here in it yes yes and I said Ozzy play your idol now I think that's what it said yeah it did and it had a beautiful picture of Ozzy um yeah so Ozzy got the t-shirt is that an award was that an award a t-shirt award and for some reason him and Stephanie they didn't yeah threw him out oh yeah yeah I don't know I don't know if it was an award or what it was yeah it was a bit I guess it was definitely a bit yeah it was a survivor but it might not have been on tv it might have been something we just witnessed oh well you think no I thought it was on tv maybe it was we don't know but we're gonna talk about it also if it wasn't on tv that happened we're not liars now you know yeah so breaking news here and and we don't know what they are cutting out or keeping in um so we're just talking about it all yeah sure did you guys like because you guys are both fans of the show yeah was it surreal in any capacity to you to be there it was really cool I it it made me you know these last years that we've been covering the show last five years now um can you believe that we've been together for five years Riley it's flown by and so I watched the show on my laptop now and I take notes at the same time very odd viewing experience compared to the general public well this was like watching the show in a packed theater and people were going nuts every time their favorite was on the screen the the crowd got really loud when Siri was on screen they got really loud when Tiffany was on screen um they got really loud during the challenges and when things were tense and whatever else you know different lines that players said they would be like clapping and whatever and it was it was very fun like it it was a an infectious viewing experience I'm like should should they just screen survivor at movie theaters across the country every episode I don't know I don't know I don't know I don't know I don't like this is this is so cool I'm I'm a little bummed there was only you know a few hundred people that got to experience this versus yeah you know maybe maybe there are some people out there who go to all these different watch parties that I know contestants hold at like bars and things like that so maybe it's a similar energy maybe if you're listening to this podcast you've experienced something like it I haven't it was very cool okay Ashley I agree it was really cool uh I didn't notice how awkward and weird I am when I'm watching survivor I talk a lot to myself you were talking a lot I talk a lot the whole the whole final tribal council when people were saying different things you know you were like no you didn't no you didn't it was great I loved it I didn't even know until somebody would turn around and start laughing at what I'm saying and I'm like oh yeah it's so good really yeah but it was so fun I I I didn't realize experience it was really fun yeah it is yeah and it is it's like watching a movie that everybody loves like there's few movies that I've been to where like everybody's flipping out in the theater people are clapping at the end that's what this is it's like going to one of those experiences um I was shocked at how funny people think Rizzo is even when he's not being funny like the amount of laughter when he was sobbing oh yeah oh when you sob through the man the myth the legend yes R-I-Z-Z-O-D Riz God baby I loved it yeah I loved it you know first time I watched it I got like teary-eyed yeah and then with everyone around laughing I was like oh yeah that was probably the funniest thing that Rizzo's ever done I was sitting right in front of right behind Rob right in front of Tina Wesson yeah and my neighbor was Vesepia yeah oh wow oh my gosh an all-star grouping okay cool and Tina and Vesepia were dying they loved every minute of Rizzo both of them were just like okay enthralled you could hear him being like laughing at everything he said you could hear and I was like both of these and they were like oh that's so smart oh that's so good both of these people I was like they're too big of sweethearts to play survivor both of them are like they have like the way they were just like oh my god they're so smart oh that's so good oh that's so good oh that's so good oh my god they just react they were just Tina and Vesepia yeah or two biggest sweethearts you think for like like if they went back yes yes or they've just changed to become maybe I think for modern survivor okay I think I feel like modern survivor has a lot of sweethearts but all right but they're like full like they just love Rizzo because he's just a kid and he's funny and he's silly and he's immature and they like yeah I just was like okay that's the that's part is that is the yeah so the the mom types I guess I don't know yeah I was gonna say it but but Vesepia very sweet I've never met Vesepia yeah so it's very exciting for me yeah I've and I've I know a lot of survivors that I've met only because they've been guests on the podcast that I've never met in real life all the modern era players I've almost met none of them in person so Erica was there Marianne was there Marianne got it yeah I've never met none of them in person so Erica was there got up in an incredible amount of times to like clap and stuff no just to like get out and then get back in and then get out and then get back in and okay it was driving Rob nuts driving and I made a joke at the same time Rob made a joke like Rob was like Marianne I was like Marianne you come to the bathroom like 50 times and then she was like no I've been talking to people down there and uh it was uh yeah that's great yeah okay I love it yeah so I was like okay that was cool whatever but it was uh yeah fun viewing experience yeah it was it was fun and we I was like down in the like you could see production was over on one side the CBS people Mark Burnett was there did you see Mark on the red carpet yeah uh not on the red carpet but I mean I saw him like kind of walking around down in front once we were all seated yeah he was on the red carpet when we were there at the start I missed him and uh so many people and I chit chatted with them for a second I don't think he recognized me at all or else he hates my guts one of the two okay wow I'm surprised by that yeah because he was still involved in the show he was yeah I've known him a lot yeah but I mean last time I saw him was when I was at war he came out and I think I shook his hand right after I went and peed in the bushes without you don't wash your hand so he got that well cool yeah maybe that's why maybe that's why I mean he was very passive he was just like hey he didn't say my name or anything I was like hi Mark I think he thought because I was wearing a press badge that he was just like oh he's a journalist you were just yeah yeah so but I did take the picture of him and his wife with somebody I forget who it was okay so oh it was Jonathan oh oh yeah yeah Mark and Jonathan and Mark's wife and I took his wife's camera and snapped a picture oh okay chopped their heads off on the photo so it's worthless not really that's when you just flip it to the selfie camera take a bunch of photos of yourself I should have I should have actually done that I should have done that Mark probably actually would have liked that he would have thought that was funny maybe you didn't remember who you were next time next time yeah I wish I would have immunity challenge okay yes the first immunity challenge I liked it I liked it was like boom sick like a few things and the big lots of different stuff like the fishing with for the machete yeah that was cool I liked it yeah and a little new thing that I should have made a little harder yeah everybody got it I think it was a little harder I think it was a little harder I think it was a real quick I think also with the like I like it I don't hate it but I was like it didn't seem challenging enough and then the rope chop thing is always just like a one like clank it's like not a big deal so my proposal is a fucking thick rope yeah probably right thicker rope or a bunch of ropes and then you have to pat and then another one and another you gotta work at it okay because the longest it took was two chops yeah most people got it in one chop and if they didn't they got it yeah yeah I need a hundred chops I mean like Rizzo went through it really fast and that's how you know yeah like That's how you know, like, he's so wiry. Yeah. Like, it's too easy. It was way too easy. So that was my complaint. But overall, I liked that it was lots of different things. I think that that's a fair, gives you a more accurate talent. Like, someone who has to be well-rounded. I mean, it ultimately came down to. The puzzle. The puzzle. But except that in this one in particular, every single second counted. So Jonathan ripping through that obstacle course, you know, made the difference. And then he almost gave it all back when he had to go hurl over the side of the platform. Yes, he barfed. Which is crazy. Yes. Do you think he barfed because we didn't get to see him on the red carpet? He left. He was too upset. Do you imagine if he had lost that challenge? And barfed. And well, and then thinks it's because he barfed. Like, if it had been Tiffany by, you know, a fraction of a second. He'd be so sick about barfing that he wouldn't be able to stop barfing. Yeah, he'd probably barf. He'd have to barf again. Yeah, I don't. Yeah, we haven't had a chance to ask him, like, what was up with that? Because we didn't. Was it nerves? Or was it that he was exhausted from pushing himself earlier to do all the physical stuff? I don't know. It could have been all of it. You know what I mean? He was going so fast. Yeah. And then he got to a puzzle. Like, oh shit, a puzzle. And so it was like nerves. And Tiffany almost got it. Could be the sea slug, maybe. No, not that many days later. Maybe. Who knows? After all this time, it came back up? Still wriggling around in there. No. The auction was like four episodes ago, which means that that would have been two days ago. Yeah, dude. I know. It was waiting. Four episodes. It was two days ago. Yeah. Yeah. He. I bet it was from exhaustion. I bet from pushing hard through that. Yeah. Maybe the nerves when he was like, oh my God. It's close. And everybody was there on the puzzle. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Tiffany was so close. Yeah. Like, impossibly close. Yeah. One puzzle piece away. But then Aubrey would have exited. Yeah. Right? Yeah. She had to be so pissed watching Jonathan do the worm right in front of her. No, that's what I'm saying. Knowing her game's over. Wouldn't. Yeah. With that celebration. So, yeah. I mean, Jonathan had a couple of really big celebrations this episode. Yeah. Mm-hmm. After that. And then there was the fire making. Yes. And those moments, I feel like, you know, I don't know if that necessarily swings the game, but it's that type of thing that it's like, yeah, you're not, you got to have a different, you can't be a sore winner kind of and rub it in. Well, he had the moment earlier in the season where he was the power broker. And with that much power, it's very similar to even being in the workplace where you're there's a totem pole of power. And if you are in the position of power and gloating, you're not winning the jury vote. It's hard to win jury. It's a part of jury management. Yeah. Like to be in that position of power and gloat over it, even though you're very excited for yourself, you're not necessarily trying to rub it in people's faces, but you have to understand that these people just lost. It's just the way his excitement comes out because then you have, you know, when Aubrey wins her immunity, she has this huge. Huge emotional reaction as well, but it comes off completely different, right? She goes over and hugs Jeff and like gets on her knees and she's crying. It's just super authentic. And you feel like almost good for, I'm sure like they all felt sick to their stomach, but they weren't like angry at Aubrey versus if I were one of the people out there and I lost to Jonathan, even though it's just whatever, it's the emotions like coursing through them, doing the worm and then screaming like, yes, yes. I mean, it's just like, all right, screw you. Dude, it just doesn't feel good. Yeah, no, it's, it's, and I think in those moments you're looking at that person, you're like, you realize we all lost and their hug is like, oh, they're congratulating me because they're happy for me. It's like, no, it's because of sportsmanship and we're devastated that we lost. Like we're not. And I think that that was, that's a misread that happens a lot on survivor in these challenges is that. That people will celebrate and then they hug the losers thinking the losers are happy for them. They losers aren't happy for them and you need to be a somber as possible and just and stoic and be like, I'm sorry you lost, you know, I really needed this one or whatever or thank you when they get congratulate you, but it has to be very measured. And yeah, like who doesn't want to scream and shout and jump for joy in that position when you win? I feel like you have to win, but to hold back and not do that is a level up. You can't gloat. You cannot gloat. Exactly. I think what was even worse was that when they got back from the challenge, he was like, good job, everyone. Good job. And it's just like, it's just how much salt can you rub in there before everyone's mad at you, man. You know, when I play pickleball and I want to start getting under people's skin, I say after I beat them in a point, I say. Nice try. Nice try, bud. But I say it in a way that they're like, is that a, are they, is he trying to be nice or is he trying to like be patronizing? And I can't tell. It's like, oh, that was a really good try, Riley. And then you're just like this fucking guy. And it's not enough for them to be like, you're an asshole, but it's enough for them that they would not give me their jury vote if we were playing survivor. And I said. Yeah. Nice job, guys. You had a really good try. Well, next time. Yeah. And that's what it feels like. And so, like, I don't fault him for that. Like, everyone's going to feel like that. Yeah. But exhibiting it to that extent, did it cost him the game? I don't think, I mean, that moment did not cost him the game. Right. And I don't think, same like the one at fire making, I don't think that cost him the game at all. But I think it may be just a general, like. It may be generally indicative of how Jonathan comes across as a whole. Right. That is something that may have cost him the game. And look, I understand it. He wants to win, too. He's talked about it multiple times. He thought about this moment for four years. It's been on his mind every single day the last four years. Like, when can he get another opportunity to hopefully, like, I understand all of that. Like, yes. I also, I really respect Jonathan's game. And this season, and actually. What about his finale haircut? Oh. Yeah. I mean. What about it? Do you respect it? I don't really respect or disrespect haircuts. But. Why? Tell me what you think. But it's bold. Yeah. Okay. I've had bullets before. Do you like it? Yeah. I think it's fine. Yeah. I think it's fine. No, but I actually feel like he played kind of an Aubrey-like game on, like, Co-Wrong, where it's like, he played really hard. He did a lot of things well strategically. But. The social game was kind of off. Oh, yeah. So, you think that when he comes back, he's going to constantly talk about how he should have won and not Aubrey. And then they're going to keep showing clips of it. And then Aubrey's going to be in the audience. It's full, full circle. What a full circle. Yeah. A double full circle. A double full circle, dude. Maybe. I mean, there's some real parallels there, I think. Yeah. That's okay. It's like, you gotta, you gotta have that social game on point. He had other parts of his game really evolved. Yes. But I don't think that the social game fully got there this season. I think he understood. That's where you'd have to work. I think he understood what he needed to do for the social game, but I don't think he executed properly all the time. I agree. Yeah. And I think that he even said that, like, in his jury speeches, he said, look, coach needed to be honorable. He needed people to be honorable. I was honorable to coach. This guy needed this. I did this for them. I needed this. That is correct. Yeah. But I think his execution was not flawless. I agree. And it had to be. It had too many flaws in it. Yeah. And ultimately, that is what cost him the game. Maybe also Stephanie saying that he's the perfect, perfect specimen. What did she say? What was her wording? The, uh, um. The total package. The total package. She called him the total package like five times. Yeah. It's starting to get a little uncomfortable. I was uncomfortable. The total, she wrote it on the parchment when she voted for him. Oh my goodness. Oh, no. Yeah. No. No. Yeah. I don't think that. I honestly don't think that non-question from Stephanie helped. She never asked the question. No. She never did. I think it hurt his game. I think so too. Um, yeah. I also, cause, and it wasn't just her. It was like Chrissy was also. Yes. Jumping in and trying to be like, oh, it speaks to your game at this, that, whatever. And I'm like, uh, like you just, if, if you are on the jury, I feel, and you want, you really want someone to vote for you. If you want someone to win, you still have to let them articulate their own game. It looks so weak and just like bad. If somebody else has to like come to your defense, like that's not actually going to win any votes over. Nobody on that jury is like, I'm going to vote for Jonathan because of what Chrissy said or what Stephanie said for him. Right. It's gotta be what he said for himself. But no, I disagree. Oh, okay. Push back. I, my, uh. You've been on the jury. So you tell me. Yeah. If you're respected in the survivor community as. a. god tier level player like Sari yes well but the way Sari did it obviously because it didn't feel like she was like trying to campaign for somebody else but also holds more weight than like a Chrissy a Chrissy a lot of people are rolling their eyes at Chrissy all season so then you get Chrissy being like Jonathan's the guy it's like Chrissy do you know a girl yeah like that's but if Sari said it you would hold more weight yeah that's yeah and I think it's that's part of it too yeah I think sure the delivery was different but also the person delivering it does have some strength to it if they are strong if it's you know like and I think that if you have somebody that people aren't respecting as game players start trying to argue on your behalf from the jury that's losing you votes yeah and I think Stephanie and Chrissy were both people that did that yeah I don't think it helped them that's for sure I don't think it lost him the game I think he was gonna lose anyways I think so but I don't think that that helped he needed to go well we can talk more about kind of some of the endgame stuff but he needed to go to the end with all newbies not with Aubrey four-time yeah yeah and I I I think we said it last week where it was like she's played four times the scars and the damage and everything it's just like you can't not give it to Aubrey in that moment and they've been hyping up you know season 50 this whole time yeah wanting it to be this celebration of survivor and this you know collection of the eras and whatever and so how are you gonna give that title and the two million dollars to somebody who's on their second season when you could give it to somebody on their fourth exactly like it's just it's built for like an Aubrey win there's just something when I'm trying to put myself in the player shoes about watching someone like Aubrey whose scars run so deep and she's worn them for so long yep versus the other three or the other five the final five were all new era except for Aubrey yes yes once they got three out yeah and I didn't look at any of them even though Jonathan had lost in fire before and Joe had gotten one vote last finale he was at I didn't look at any of them and say their scars are insurmountable and have hindered their joy in life to some degree because they're too deep but Aubrey yes yeah and I think as a jury like you you can feel that you know she doesn't have to articulate that you can feel that yeah and I could see it coming through the screen and I think that like it's just too powerful to like it's winning votes by itself yeah it's not everybody's gonna vote for that but there are people who will vote I would vote for that I would be like they've been through the shit and they've been through it for a long time and it's decades even without all of those years having passed Aubrey's wounds were the deepest from her first season anyways yes she got all the way to final tribal council and she was so close to winning and then the fan conversation after that was oh Aubrey got robbed yes and all the endless debates was Aubrey and Rochelle you know whatever whatever and it's like then they made some changes to the game and it was like well Jeff made it final four fire making to help like an Aubrey like player or whatever and they changed the jury format and things like that all these different like rumors swirling that's gotta like cut you really really deep before you even get to game changers and edge of extinction and all of that yes and all the years that have passed it's like I don't know of the other players in the final five I guess like maybe Rizzo losing in fire to the person who then ended up winning in the end is a pretty deep wound I got to talk to him a little on the red carpet and he said losing in fire in 49 hurt him way more than losing in 50 because he thought that he could actually win 49 at that final three he basically knew if I'm sitting next to Aubrey I'm probably cooked so he kind of knew he was already playing for a runner up spot here on 50 so I'm like that might be the deepest cut I don't know Joe being a one vote finalist on his season might be a deep cut but regardless none of these people got as close as Aubrey did on her first season and that's the type of thing that you're just running through over and over and over and over I needed two more votes I needed who could I have how could I have gotten where could I have gotten what did I do wrong how did I talk to this person what about this conversation yeah it's really surprising how like emotionally intelligent Rizzo is like just hearing that from Rizzo him immediately knowing that like I was cooked the minute that Aubrey was like wow I'm I'm I am excited to see him on future seasons because I feel like he could win this with the right cast I felt like he actually had a very good perception that you know him being a 25 year old being perceived as like the kid on the season he was going to have a narrow path to victory and that's why ultimately he cut Ozzy and he cut Sari and he was trying to go to the end with Jonathan and Joe two kind of similar players where he can be like the standout you know exactly how Aubrey articulated it to would Rizzo have won against Jonathan and Joe I don't know for sure but I think it was his best chance you know if you rewind it to at least like final seven ish that is who I think I think Rizzo identified this is my ideal final three and then did everything he needed to to put that into motion up until Aubrey won final four immunity right everything was actually going I feel like to his best chance plan absolutely absolutely interesting interesting yeah I do believe that we've said it I've said it I said it today I don't think Rizzo gets enough credit because he's so young I think we're seeing his moves and he's navigating wonderfully is it a combination of he's not threatening is it his social he's so powerful socially like what is it and is as he gets older is that going to be easier for him or is it going to be harder because now maybe people take him more serious and then he's not able to like lean into the like a cinema yeah I mean I could see him coming back in I don't know let's say like five years or something he's now like 30 years old and he's going to be like I'm retiring Riz God and I'm playing as Rizzo now you know and but does he have a deep runner he has voted out early because people are now scared of him because he's more adult and more mature and so because there's part of it I do believe in this game is you show up on the beach there's this 25 year old kid he's goofy he's funny he's non-threatening doesn't have it well you just let him skate by but he actually did come in with a decent threat level this season because he was one of these season 49 unknowns nobody had seen him play before I know but the second that he starts talking and articulating and goofing around like you're still getting that perception of him sure yeah which is an accurate perception but it's not going to be an accurate and it's not fully accurate like he's more than that but that's what his surface is to you when you first see him but he's not going to have that when he's 45 well man how many years we're thinking 20 years in the future no but I think at some point that's going to change and he's not going to be the young goofy kid who says slang words that older people don't understand no but I think that he is that going to make his job harder or easier to win survivor I think I think it will make it more likely that he wins I think he'll command a little more respect he'll probably be I think he'll be more threatening I think it's going to be harder for him to get skirt through some of these places where people aren't looking at Rizzo because they're just like oh he's just a goofy kid I have time to cut him he's not target number one I think by the time he does get to that version of himself he'll be like Colby's age I feel like Rizzo is going to ride this type of version of himself for a very long time because he's 25 he's not he's not a little young kid you know what I'm saying he is already growing up but he is sticking to this act of being a young kiddo fun guy so I feel like he's going to stick with that a little bit longer and since these seasons were so close together I kind of think season 50 was still Rizzo's first season I think this still counts so he still has a couple more seasons in him before he can start to be yeah watch himself back is he though going to ride it for too long and be like Steve Buscemi where he's like what's up fellow kids let's go I would love it if it's like we don't see him again until he's like 35 he just shows up and he's immediately like the man the myth the legend hasn't changed a bit yes it's like it's like the cool kid in high school the cool kid in high school I mean the cool kid in high school and you're like oh god damn they were so cool and and then you go back to your reunion like 30 years later and they're wearing like the same clothes exactly the same and you're like whoa oh It's not cool anymore. I want him to do that. I need him to say when he's in his 40s, I need it on camera on a Survivor season, I have to have him say hello fellow kids or what up fellow kids or whatever. He totally would. I can't wait to see him with some other young kid. He's in the Colby role. He's going to be like, I'm going to share some sage advice. I'm going to teach you how to spear fish. Or the kid's driving him nuts. Yeah. I can't stand this kid. This kid isn't doing anything. He's just laying around. Kids don't work these days. That's what I need from Rizzo. That's all I want. I want him to try and fit in with the young kids when he's too old to try doing that. I want Rizzo to come back sooner than later, but if you gave me the choice to be like, let's just hold off till he's like 47 or 48 so we can see how he is. If I could fast forward right now in the future to see what he would be like at 47 and then come back and be like, Jeff, you can't have him on again. You have to wait until he's like 50 because it's going to be absurd. It's going to be crazy. He's going to have platinum gold hair or something. Just something wild. Wear whatever jeans the kids are wearing. Parachute jeans. Parachute jeans, exactly. That's probably what they have then. This is all cyclical. Yeah. Yo, yeah. Shaq here. Everyone comes back and immediately targets Tiffany. Is this the right move? Who is this the right move for? Is this the right move for everybody? Well, so I think what they're thinking is, you know, it's the final three guys are like locked in, right? They're thinking they have a better chance of beating Aubrey in a challenge. Exactly. For sure. Exactly. But I think in this moment you have to ignore that because the challenges can be literally anything. And anybody can win on any given day and that doesn't matter. As Aubrey proved I think you just have to get rid of the threat of the final jury threat. Like is Tiffany scarier to them to sit next to in the end than Aubrey in that moment? And if so you have to go. I feel like you have to go Aubrey. I don't know. I don't know. Do you think like maybe it was because of Tiffany's connection to Seri before Seri left the game. And so they're just worried that Seri was going to campaign for her and Ponderosa. I really do believe that they were just like Tiffany is a challenge threat. And that was it. And if she wins, we're too close to the end. So if she wins and gets to the end, we're screwed. Whereas Aubrey has only ever won one challenge in her life before in five seasons or something. So she's probably not going to win, which I would also like there. I would probably make that mistake to be honest. But I do believe that what you should be should be looking at the whole thing. You should be looking at what you have control of. But you are coming off of Tiffany was literally one second away from winning. Yeah. Yes. So the that was bad for her. That was bad for her game to be that close. Yes. If you're going to lose, just lose by a lot. What if she would have hurt herself? What if she would have like or or pretended to hurt herself? I mean, she's certainly way too much of a competitor to ever do that. But I don't know. I I think she was probably going home no matter what if she lost that immunity. Yeah. If she's healthy at least. But I don't know if she hurts herself. But was it the right move for everybody? I mean, you have hindsight but I actually think that it was the right move for Rizzo, for Joe, for Jonathan. Yes, because they I think that they are looking at it as we probably lose to either Tiffany or Aubrey in the end. So maximizing for whether one of them makes it and we can maybe squeak out a win against one of those is not the right thing to maximize for. What you actually want to optimize for is who can you beat at Final Four immunity. And it's no contest. No matter what the challenge is. Tiffany won three challenges this season. She was one second away from winning that puzzle. And she was one not trying to cheat on the balance thing from winning that one too. So she could have been a five immunity challenge winner this season. And but had she played by the rules on that balance when she wouldn't have won. I don't know. I'm not sure. I think that she was doing pretty good on the one-legged thing and she just she got her leg up way too late. But I think that actually if you watch the footage. We'll watch the tape. If you watch the footage, she literally as the last person is falling, she goes like this and then jumps off and celebrates. I don't know. We'll have to watch the tape. I might be misremembering. You might be right. But at any rate, she's very good at challenges. Aubrey not so hot. Okay. I will concede. I will concede to you, Riley, that okay, it's the right move. Another win. How many is that? Two? I think so. Yeah, I got more wins than that. Okay. So it's the right move for everybody. I think so. I think so. Yeah. Yeah. I the only the only thing that I wonder if a Jonathan or Joe considered as they got toward the late game is that them sitting next to each other is kind of they suffer from that their games look somewhat similar. Yeah, they were aligned at times with people. They both kind of get caught in the honor and integrity web, even if they would both say they didn't necessarily play with honor and integrity. Right. They're both like these challenge beast dudes or whatever. You're kind of earning some of the same stuff. And so, you know, that's why I think Rizzo wanting to go to the end with Jonathan and Joe is very smart for him. But I'm kind of like, at what point did Jonathan and Joe consider that maybe you actually want to sit at the end as the one challenge honor and integrity like guy with two more like strategist middle people, right? Yeah, but not Tiffany and Aubrey. No, I guess it can't be them. I don't know. Should it have been should they have been like we need to keep like Emily in this game, you know, going back to like that vote out or something, right? Like we want to sit next to Emily and Rizzo like Emily, Rizzo, Jonathan. That should have been the final three that Jonathan wins or whatever, right? Like, so I'm wondering if their error was further upstream basically where they got to a point where now they were going to the end together and it was like, that's not optimal for you to. Yeah, I guess it didn't actually cost Jonathan any votes in the end. Joe didn't get any but it may have cost some in the narrative. Sorry, Joe. Okay, so they get back to camp and we see Tiffany and Rizzo and Rizzo is like, hey, you know, it's going to probably be you. She's like, is there anything I can do? He's like, nope. Nope. She's like, then why are we here? Well, I do think that that's good. Yeah. What's the point? I do think that's good for Rizzo's game if he makes it to the end to be that direct because Joe and Jonathan. I agree. And Aubrey are both like, oh, let's be a little sneaky about it. Let's not say there's no point advantages are all done shot in the darks are all done it's so hard though. It's so hard to tell someone that you're going to get them. I don't know why it is, but in your survivor ingrained in your blood, it's so hard to just be like, it's you, you know, but I do think that for Rizzo, if he had made it to the end I'm not saying Tiffany would have voted for him, but I think that as a jury management play that was pretty good to be that direct. - Yeah, yeah. - Whereas Joe and Jonathan Jonathan didn't ever really be like, yeah, it's going to be her. And then she blows up at tribal council, says the things she needs to say, does all of that. Some of that probably they could have, you know, averted a little bit by just being ultra direct with her. Yes. Yeah, I kind of agree. She did tell me during the exit press. Well, not the exit press. She did tell me during red carpet that she didn't get upset during tribal because of what Rizzo said. For some reason, they cut out a moment that she had with Jonathan and she had asked him, like, why? Why are you targeting me? Why is it not Joe? We're the same on paper. Yeah. And he just said, because she's a girl and it's just different. He said that? Yeah, he said that to her. Hey, girl. Hey. How are you? I'm pissed. Me too. I'm pissed. I was rooting for you from the very beginning before the season started. And so, like, I don't get it. I don't get it. But I want to ask you. Yeah. What was your final straw? Like, other than knowing that everything was written in the cards. Yeah. Like, it was the end for you. Yeah. What made you feel like, okay, I'm going to tell everyone my truth. What was going on? Let me be truthful. So, this is interesting because the straw that broke the camel's back that made me really snap the way I did was not even really aired. I was having a conversation. I was doing my pitches. And that conversation between Jonathan and I on the hammock, I straight up asked him. I'm like, dude, what's the difference between me and Joe right now? I have three immunity challenges. He has three immunity challenges. And he was like, yeah, but Tiffany, you're a girl. The record for girls is four. And the record for guys is eight. And I was like. Huh? Wait. My eyes started twitching. And I was like, are you kidding me right now? So, I don't even know if Jonathan really thought about what that meant when it came out of his mouth. Because it kind of just like. Yeah. And I'm like, maybe he wasn't thinking about it. Maybe he didn't articulate it. Because obviously, I know that there's more to it. But that set me off. And I'm like, you have got to be kidding me right now. Yeah, dude. Yeah. Because I had a similar conversation with Rizzo. And Rizzo's explanation was just like, Tiffany, I can't beat you. Yeah. You're smart. You're strategic. You are the golden girl of the season. I cannot let you get there or I lose. So, I'm like. That one makes a little more sense. That one made perfect sense. But when I had that conversation before, to be reduced to, yeah, but you're a girl. But you're a girl. And I know he probably meant like, yeah, but like. Stronger. Honestly, I don't even know. But that's what set me off. I was mad. I was mad. I was so mad. You know what? I was like, are you kidding me? Dude, I would have been mad too, man. Yeah. But like, okay, another question I have for you. Yeah. So, you and Aubrey were like close at the very beginning. Yes. And they didn't show you guys kind of like falling out basically towards the end. What was the start of that? Like, did you realize it yourself that she was playing towards the middle and not really on your side? What was it for you? So, it was kind of. It was kind of like a trickle effect. It was very gradual. I think we kind of just gradually separated. We were still close, which is why I was so mad at her at the end when I'm like, girl, I was riding for you on color when everybody wanted you out. And now you just flipped on me. But at the end of the day, I can't blame her. I can't blame her. Yeah. I would have beat you. Yeah, you would have. If you wanted to win, you did what you needed to do. And that's why she earned my vote because I'm like, I have much respect for Aubrey. I have a lot of respect for the game she played. And she flipped when she needed to flip. Right. Not too early, not too late. Right. And it got her to win. So I can't do anything but, you know, give her respect for that. I was telling our co-host Riley. Yeah. I was like, I know Tiff just like ate a pizza, went to sleep and was like, you know, OK, I'll give her a vote. Yeah, you know, like I got back to Ponderosa and everybody there was just like, Tiffany, man. Mm hmm. If you were in the final three, you would have won. So I'm like, you know what, respect. You would have won. Y'all made the right choice. So I couldn't even be mad, you know. And also, like, it's a game. We are all giving it our all out there, like blood, sweat and tears. So, yeah, Aubrey scrapped it out exactly the way she needed it. She did. I cannot be mad. But you won in my book. You know what I'm saying? Thank you. I won in your heart. And that's all that matters. And that's probably why she kind of blew up during Tribal. Because then she was like, oh, because it's the boys and they're dabbing and it's like it's a boys club. That's crazy. I know. It's really it's really interesting. And so it gives even more props to Rizzo for being like, that's part of the management from Jonathan. One hundred percent. Really bad during management. But yeah, Rizzo being just like, yeah, you're I will not win next to you. I respect that answer more than just being like, well, it's different. You're you're a lady in comparison to Joe. So. Rizzo, shout out to you, man. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's crazy. Yeah. I did also like, though, how she just talked it to him. She understood she's going to exit. She's like, I'm going to say the things I need to say. Yeah. Which is great because it does. Honestly, for your mental health to be like to let it out, to let it out. Yeah. So many people don't get that opportunity because they get blindsided and they're like, fuck the things I should have said. Yeah. And then it rolls in your brain rolls in your brain. You wake up in the middle of the night. And you're just like, oh, man, I could have said so many good things. I could have just let somebody on fire. I could have blown somebody's game up. I could have helped some but one of my allies to, like, maybe propel them to like a victory like there's so much you could do. But like so much of Survivor is secret and you don't know that you're going to exit. And also, even if you do think that you're going to exit, there's a smidgen of hope that you're like, maybe not. I better not blow it up. Because maybe they could help. Maybe I've got the wrong read and I'm actually OK. Exactly. And so there's so there's so many times. Yeah. Could they put something in the game? I don't know. Then I guess you're just like Big Brother or other shows where, like, people know they're on the chopping block. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So it's it's different. And as a competitor, as a player of reality TV, I love just getting the person you want and then they don't have. Then they're gone. Yeah. Yeah. Big Brother. We're like, hey, you're on the chopping block. And they're like, well, guess what? I'll probably be in the house again. And now we're at war. And like, God damn it. Yeah. So, yeah, they're different beasts. That's why they have like a million episodes, man. It just never ends. It never ends. It never ends. So, yeah. And Tiffany, I mean, she was also good about being like, I'm spicy now, but, you know, we'll see on the TV. Yeah, I was sitting. Nikki Glaser was there. Did you see Nikki Glaser? I did not. So Nikki Glaser, famous comedian, was in the audience and she loved all the Tiffany moments. I saw her react and be like, yeah, that's it. So, yeah. Rizzo playing his idol. I kind of felt like you should have kept it. That's what I said last week. I said, keep it and show people that there's no reason to play it. Yeah. It would have been more powerful than being like, well, it's the last time. There you go. Wait, I want to go back to the challenge where he first of all, his last throw to knock down. So good. He didn't give a shit. He had given up. So he had given up and then he didn't even try on the puzzle. I think he just watched everybody else. Well, once it was getting close. Yeah, he was just peeking over. Yeah. Yeah. And then he also did the same play with his idol. It's just like. Yeah. He may as well. I think him pulling it out and being like, I just want to keep this souvenir because I don't need it and I haven't needed it. And that's the way it goes. OK, I want to add to this, too, because I so I want to ask him about the idol. When we do exit press tomorrow, I did not get a chance to ask him on the red carpet because the other thing that that idol was, if he had ended up in a final three with Aubrey, it's a huge contrast to one of her moments of the season where she's like a public idol is no idol at all. It's a scarlet. I mean, she trashed it. He could say, no, it's not. I had a public idol and that I used that to keep me safe through this entire game. Yeah. And then I didn't even play it when I needed to play it. I still have it right now. Yeah. Right. That could have been a way. So he actually could have had a leg up over Aubrey in the final three. Yeah. I'm wondering if he considered that. Wow. Yeah. Dang. Yeah. I mean, that's a good point. Wow. Thank you. I agree, too. I think that's like I do have my moments few and far between, but we'll take what we can get from Mr. McAtee. Mm hmm. No, you're doing great, Riley. And I love that. I do. Yeah, that's really that's really powerful. Yeah. I felt like him trashing that. I was like, oh, I don't know. I actually feel like keep it, you know, keep it. Yeah. Yeah. And now it's to everyone that you're going to keep it. Yeah. Like, I do have this idol. Jeff, can you tell me if it's real? He'll be like, it is real and then be like, all right, keeping it and put it right back in. Yeah, yeah, exactly. Yeah. Yep. And although if they then voted for you, the worst thing ever. Oh, that would have been absurd. what's next we have the tree mill hinting at whether or not nothing they told them they get nothing from it they get nothing from it yeah and then they are they go to some motion they're going to some motion I was just looking at this and seeing if anything else had happened she Aubrey pretty much knows she has to win yes and she goes to some motion another moment with Jonathan that I think is not great is he was waving to the fans like yeah Jeff did sexy voice just Jeff did sexy voice for everybody Riley one more Ashley oh Jonathan and Jonathan comes in like this and he's like oh you're imagining the throng of fans out there and he's like yeah and does it again again I do believe like not the time to gloat or celebrate or in front of people it's not necessarily that he's gloating he's just like yeah I don't know I don't know what was up with that one it's just not the right energy to win jury votes if because one of those people is still going to be on the jury there he's got to read the room it's weird how he doesn't read the room when he's doing challenges well I talked to Aubrey on the red carpet and she said everyone is the hero of their own story and Jonathan too is the hero of his own story and he's going to move that way but Aubrey one thing she said is you have to understand that everyone believes they're the hero of their own story and then when you understand that you can navigate a little bit differently than you would if you put yourself in other people's shoes as the hero of their story and so I think Jonathan was just too involved in his story to understand other people's stories coming back prepping all these years thinking about how to make fire yes and meanwhile meanwhile you're a a mom that's been devastated by Survivor three times in the past watching him walk in waving to his throngs of fans that's yeah that's not good so we get that moment and then we get some motion did you vote for some motion I voted for the Plinko board one which I they only had done I think that was Survivor 47 I think similar to a some motiony vibe yeah it is because it's like a concentration challenge right you need to be kind of like watching the balls go down as you I think it was like put together a puzzle yeah I've only done it once but I really liked it when they did it so I voted for that I actually really like some motion which I because I've seen a lot of people be like ah some motion we're so tired of it obviously there are also fans of it since Rob rolled his eyes and was just like ugh this thing did he really I voted for some motion I like it I've never gotten to play it I think I'd be good at it I think I could win with either hand okay oh yeah because I'm left handed yeah but I played baseball so I caught everything with my right hand yeah so that changes it a little yeah I I like it it feels like a challenge that is truly like anybody could win yeah you know if if Seri had been at final four I'm like she could win some motion right versus some of these other challenges that are kind of like anyone can win because they're like some sort of endurance or balance thing or whatever but there's still that athletic component that actually does give some people an advantage or not this is one where I'm like they're all basically on equal playing field as far as as far as we can tell looking at it I mean somebody's gonna be better at concentrating than somebody else but you just don't know who it is there was a moment when the game was going and Tina was sitting behind me and she was like no you didn't time it out right as somebody dropped their ball which I think was and was she correct? I think it was I corrected her yeah because I said no they have to get the ball in in a certain amount of time and then they can adjust for time as they drop on the second and third as it comes back around like you just have to get it in in time in a spot where it's not back to back with the ball and then you focus on spacing as you're placing the balls after that but when Jeff says counts you down from 10 you just have to find a good enough spot to put a ball in that makes sense and so yeah I don't know if it was worth turning around and correcting her but you couldn't help yourself I couldn't help myself you know Tyson's gonna Tyson you gotta do it yeah you gotta you gotta do it you gotta do it was that was that wrong or right of me to correct Tina there I mean you have to be your authentic self and I'm happy that you always are okay thank you Ashley you gotta do what you gotta do okay no judgment thank you guys thank you so I think it's hilarious and it happens on Survivor so often there's a whole conversation about this one person can't win yeah and what are the odds that that that happens so often on Survivor is there's just so many conversations that are like so and so can't win yeah that they just play the one that pertains to the person that won yeah maybe I don't know because it happens a lot it happens way more than mathematically it should is there extra drive with that person because they know they're on the chopping block is there other conversations that are saying other names is it a combination of that I think it's I think it's probably a lot the edit I mean not at final four where there's clearly only one person right because there was a strong three that wanted to go to the end together but I think a lot of the other times there's probably a few different people that are like you know for my game this person can't win or whoever and then anytime that happens like oh we're putting that in there yeah yeah do you think Aubrey bought other games besides Sumotion did she buy Plinko too didn't she say it was the only one that's what she said but I was like you could have bought Plinko why couldn't you have gotten Plinko what was the other one a giant obstacle course thing I actually cannot remember I can't either I don't remember anything about the votes I gotta be honest I don't remember what I voted for but you know we do remember Jeff when he spoiled that Rizzo lost at final I'll never forget that we'll never forget it's my favorite moment ever I mean if you're gonna buy one challenge to practice though Sumotion makes a lot of sense that one appears so often yeah and it's great it's a great party game at home it actually yeah it actually would be a great party game it would oh man I kind of want one yeah I want one right like I don't know where I'd put it but it's did she get like a centerpiece I gotta know if she got like a little small like 3D printed Sumotion or like a full size full size like metal Sumotion yeah and what was the investment in that you know yeah it's gotta be expensive cause it's it was from Etsy so it was like custom yeah so yeah she probably wrote it off her taxes as a business expense yeah yeah probably I don't even know how write-offs work people always say oh you're gonna write this off you just write it off you know yeah and you're like yeah but I'm still paying a buttload of taxes so like what is it doing is it helping me somehow you know I'm not the right person to ask about adult I have a tax guy it lowers your adjusted gross income is what it actually does but you lost me yeah we're talking fractions and percentages now oh math too guys come on alright we're losing our audience talking about taxes let's talk about survivors that's our summer content our summer content is taxes so Rizzo is out he lost yeah Jonathan loses Joe also flubs it mhm what did they do wrong I mean was this oh the edit the music the music edit where they were like so good so cool yeah that was really good I also I just love the way Simotion also just brings that that hum you know yes and Jeff has to be really loud too he's like kind of shouting over the whole thing it is like a different environment for a challenge too but then yeah the snapping edit so cool yeah it was so good it was so good let's talk about edits because we walked in with our videographer from the red carpet and he was saying how cinematic Survivor was and how much he enjoyed watching it there was the slow-mo shot of Joe and Aubrey doing it doing Simotion that was amazing and and I love that musical thing anything else I liked that they put like GoPros on top of those giant towers that they hit oh those were cool that was cool yeah so you saw the sand blast and everything I liked when when Jeff was talking about that particular challenge and they were showing the key getting hit and they just made the key like jump up and it was just like a perfect shot and it was in slow motion and it was so it was just like that quick but it was awesome and it's just little things like that that I'm like who's in the editing room that's spending like an hour mastermind they do some cool stuff it's amazing so it's really cool Matt Van Wagnon a friend of the podcast executive producer at Survivor he I know that things will just come to their production team and they'll call the editing room room and be like, Hey, can you pull this and do this? and do do it like this and so like they're getting input from everywhere about how to turn this into a masterpiece every time it's really good which is yeah this is crazy um and that yeah that some motion music was insane yeah loved it yeah there is one uh cinematic piece that i do want to mention is uh while ever the jury was talking about who they were thinking uh that when jonathan flexed his this is about jonathan by the way this is about jonathan he does this a lot but it was also when he was laying down in the sand oh yes and very seductively and i was like what is going on yeah yeah that wasn't a bit of an odd it was a little odd but beautiful but beautiful the audience around was just like wow what a shot it was beautiful but i'm like his toes are pointed too and i was like wow jonathan i and because the drums there he knew that that shot was happening wow he didn't know it was gonna make tv but he knew it was happening so he probably like they were like yeah just lay out in the sand like that so he probably posed in the way that he wanted to pose to get it done i like that and you yeah give him a vote for that and i haven't played in the era of drones that's actually what the new era should be called drones on winners of war they did some they did yeah yeah they did some but it was still mostly helicopter and they still said like we can get shots with helicopter we can't do it with drones that we really love wow and i don't know what they are huh but i and i don't know if that's now eliminated yeah but i knew that they were still using the and that's west cam i think somebody talked about west cam recently on the podcast yes and other people are like what does that mean west cam is the helicopter okay okay yeah well good to know yeah so if you and in the past if you were like oh can you hear west cam that's the helicopter everybody's like oh yeah he says west cam i don't know why west cam i don't know where that came from i don't know what it stands for i don't know anything but i know it's helicopter with a camera on it i always thought it was just a camera coming from the west or something but no no it's the whole helicopter yeah crap yeah huh yeah good to know so like production would come in and be like okay guys no talking west cam's coming through to get aerial shots we can't record because we can't hear over the propellers and stuff just like go about your normal thing and do not look at the camera at some point i'd always look yeah just like i'd wait until i thought they probably got the shot and then i'd be like so yeah um aubrey pulls it out pulls it out big reaction huge reaction with her hands still tied behind her back yep is this a hilarious moment to be like i could have won with my with one oh i did win with one oh yeah well you you talked to her some on the red carpet yes she loves the podcast she was very grateful of the coverage that we've done this season particularly pertaining to her she said she didn't feel like a lot of the outlets were fair or were too critical and that we always had an open heart and an open mind towards her and uh we try to be fair we try to be empathetic as well yeah and uh not blocked by joe yet so we're doing something right yeah yeah well you saying that maybe no joe's wonderful i talked to him twice today on the red carpet that's right yeah and he was very upbeat he was like i you looked like it yeah he was fine he was at peace he knew the second he left the game that he'd lost and he was fine with it that's that's great i love that yeah but so for aubrey i'm wondering if that reaction from her to what extent what was her confidence level after winning that immunity of like i got this i'm gonna win i believe because only because i've been in that position before i've won the final challenge yeah and i think it's not that i can win it's that i've done everything i can do god i am getting to the end and i'm not going to get to plead my case i don't necessarily i'm not thinking about like oh if i get here i will win yeah i'm thinking oh if i get here then i'm at the end yeah i've done the work is done yeah i need to speak in front of the jury sure there's that work still but but you get the opportunity i don't have to scheme anymore yeah i don't have to battle these people anymore i don't have to go to any more tribal councils and wonder or you know i don't have to go to any more tribal councils and wonder or i don't have to go to any more tribal councils and wonder or worry if it's going to be me worry if it's going to be me worry if it's going to be me and i think it's that i think the game and i think it's that i think the game and i think it's that i think the game gets to stop in a certain capacity gets to stop in a certain capacity gets to stop in a certain capacity and you've done everything you can do and you've done everything you can do and you've done everything you can do and you're still there and you're still there and you're still there and so then i and i believe the next and so then i and i believe the next and so then i and i believe the next day is when you start thinking or even day is when you start thinking or even day is when you start thinking or even that night when you're laying down that's when you start thinking can i win and how can i win and what do i need to say to win say to win say to win you're counting jury votes and this and you're counting jury votes and this and you're counting jury votes and this and that but i don't think that but i don't think that but i don't think especially because jonathan got a three especially because jonathan got a three especially because jonathan got a three votes like i don't think that votes like i don't think that votes like i don't think that aubrey believed that she had it in the aubrey believed that she had it in the aubrey believed that she had it in the bag at that point And you never know, you, you go to the jury, you go to tribal council and you look at the jury and a lot of them are scowling at you, or a lot of them are like laughing or they're laughing. Are they laughing at you? Are they laughing with you? Are they, you know, they're paying more attention to this guy than they are to me. Like, I don't know. I don't know what anybody's like, and they purposely are throwing you off. Cause they think it's funny. Cause they're trying to get their last little like digs at you because you got the best of them. And so like, you just, she's not thinking like this is in the bag. She's thinking I can take my foot off the gas. Yeah. So, and I, I mean, we can ask her tomorrow, but that's, I think that that's, that's, that's what it is. Um, and she seemed to know exactly what to do. Yeah. Once they got back to the beach, I mean, it was, she did not need to hear anybody's pitches or anything. She told Joe immediately, I'm taking you to the end. Yeah. And Rizzo. Yeah. I mean, first of all, Joe cried, but I want to jump in here. Rizzo said, is there anything I can do? Aubrey paused to think about maybe she was like, probably not. No. Jonathan said, probably not. And then Aubrey said, probably not. Yes. I do remember this. It's going to be you two in fire. And Rizzo said, is there anything I can say to persuade you, to persuade you otherwise? But there, but like there wasn't, I mean, she was so focused. This was her whole game. I don't think she would have changed, but I also don't think like Jonathan jumping in and answering for her. Yeah. But at that point, like Aubrey's not on the jury. Yeah. No, no, no. So that's not, but that's kind of like, yeah, I think early earlier, that would have been very bad for Jonathan to answer for somebody else like that. Yeah. Probably not. Sure. Yeah. Yeah. But, but I think he was, and I think the reason Jonathan answered like that is because he wanted to go against Rizzo. He wanted to beat Rizzo right there. So he was like, probably not. Nope. She's locked in. We're good. So was there any part of you that thought that Rizzo was going to win as the day? Uh, as the day wore on and we saw him get better and better at making fire. I just felt like they made such a point to highlight how good Jonathan was at fire. He made it in a confessional. In a confessional. Wild. That I just felt like there's, there's gotta be no chance. Yeah. Um, so I really did not, I did not feel a lot of tension going into that fire making challenge just because I kind of thought the writing on this on the wall. Oh yeah. Yeah. And we got spoiled. So that. That helped, but I, well, we'd seen the screener. Yeah. We'd, oh yeah, yeah, sure. Yes. Yeah. And then, oh yeah. The most memorable part of season 15. So I guess we got the most authentic experience actually because we watched the screener that didn't have that. So I went in, but I was still like, I didn't know who won that fire making challenge. And I was still like, it's going to be Jonathan. Yeah. Yeah. There was part of me because we saw like maybe when he gets that spark, but then I was like, I don't know. Oh, when he was like learning, how to do it from Joe was teaching him, which I was like, yeah, that was pretty nice. I thought it was nice of Joe. I thought it was funny. Cause Joe was just laughing at himself. Just being like, I don't want Rizzo there, but like, I'm watching him and he's so bad that I like, I have to help him a little bit. Cause he just looks and the whole line about like, if you're going to have a sword fight, at least give everyone a sword. So nice of Joe to help. Yeah, it was. And he was better at it. I, but then he needs more practice. The pressure got to him. Like he just learned that day. Yeah. Yeah. Well, and going up against someone who is phenomenal. And I wonder Jonathan nervous. I mean, we, we need to ask Jonathan for in exit press tomorrow, you know, how much fire making did he practice between seasons? Cause he had four years where he lost fire. Yeah. Rizzo had nine days after losing fire. And I did ask him on the red carpet and how many of those nine days did he spend practicing fire? And he said, I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. And I guess he only put two pounds on in between the two seasons. how much did he lose he lost uh i cannot remember the exact numbers but it was 20 something pounds the first season he put two pounds on between seasons and then lost another 20 something pounds on 50 so he was down he told me it was like over 45 pounds wow oh my goodness he didn't look like he had even that much to lose that's what he said he was like look at me do i look like i have 40 plus pounds to lose uh so you know that's that's tough yeah yeah no i agree i think that it's it's all tough and i want and so i wonder if rizzo had had you know two years between seasons or something if he would have spent a lot of time working on fire i mean everybody's different i wouldn't have i just would be like oh yeah maybe rizzo would have though maybe rizzo would he's different but if i know anything about rizzo's work at and stuff i would assume he's not spending two years trying to make fire but he does love survivor he loves survivor and you know now he'll be on a season where the winner is like i bought a sumotion kit on etsy and practiced it and that was probably the difference between her winning and losing yeah so i would imagine rizzo's gonna spend the next few years doing things like making fire practicing puzzles all that stuff okay yeah i hope so at least i hope so maybe we'll see him you know at survivor 90 and he's like i haven't practiced i haven't done any of that if he's on a cast with me and i'm in charge i'm getting him to fire again like it's just yeah it's too funny yeah you have to it's just too funny that's great good job whatever yeah okay yeah um so jonathan wins fire yeah go back family comes family comes that's what i want to talk about because i i'm going to go back and i'm going to go back and i'm going to talk about because i had heard rumors that there was the family visit this season i'd heard i had no idea and then around the and then the auction time i was just like oh no family visit because they gave the letters yeah that's right so i was like oh no family visit and i loved placing the family visit here i think this is a beautiful place to put the family visit you only get a few family members but yeah they get to celebrate with you getting all the family members and you get to celebrate with you getting all the family members all the way to the end it's kind of cool like generally like rachel came out for winners at war and she's like how are you i was like i'm fucked like nobody really wants to work with me i already got voted out once i won my way back in i'm trying but i don't have allies really and everybody that i do has already voted me out once so like i don't know where i'm at like that's not fun for her like she's like oh i'm like i'm trying and she's like who do you need me to talk to i was like everybody and jeff yeah somebody and so like and then the edge of extinction they go out there and they're like what are you guys they're like we're out of the game we're in purgatory and they have we have nothing probably not gonna you know we only have one more chance to win yeah ethan might die you know like yeah that's like yeah that's not this is a better celebration i think i think i liked it i put myself in that position i was like how fucking awesome would it be to be a family to have one of my loved ones show up at that breakfast yeah which is the only thing you're looking forward to is that breakfast like you're looking forward to that breakfast yeah of course and when you get to the final three you go out and sit on the beach and you wait for the boat and it's my first time ever making it to final three i didn't know that it comes like at a late brunch time it doesn't come in the morning like i'm like okay i'm gonna go to the beach and i'm gonna wake up as soon as i wake up there's gonna be early yeah boatload of food you get up and you're like is the food here and they're like not yet and i was like is it here yet and they're like no it's not yet because you can go to producers and ask them questions throughout and i'm like is it here yet and they're like it's not gonna be here for a long time i was like i thought it was breakfast yeah oh yeah it comes in the middle of the day oh that's not breakfast yeah and if it's your first time there like i don't know that that sucks dude i've been watching it on tv assuming yeah i thought it was breakfast as soon as i wake up it's like a massage and a breakfast and you're just like rad and just like but no it's just lunch it's lunch but breakfast foods for lunch breakfast lunch after your morning naps and everything waiting for this wow but you're chomping to get it so the fact that it like you're just waiting and waiting they probably do that because then your reaction is heightened when it finally gets there and you're just like you've been waiting so long yes and then yeah you're waiting so long until you get to the final three for the breakfast then your family's the boat shows up with your family yes that's not totally unexpected this is the first time there is dressed like mario were they shorts overalls no i think they were just overalls okay mario doesn't wear shorts overalls he wears no i thought that jonathan's brother was in shorts overalls but maybe i was wrong well oh i don't know i don't remember i do not remember either and i don't remember it doesn't matter they're red and blue it was wild i was like that is an outfit is there based off who your family visit is is that win or lose jury votes at all like oh they brought their best friend out and they could no the jury doesn't even know about this there's you're already a final three yeah the jury doesn't know but like is jeff telling them or something like that like there was a moment too where jeff was like here's what happened in the game tiffany lost i thought that was also bad for tiffany's game is jeff being like tiffany lost by one second everybody she lost by one second how good is tiffany and then they were like yeah we should we made i mean they are there we made the right new at that travel okay but to me like i watched the family visits i've been in person to a family visit but that and it was all the families but i do think like okay somebody's bringing their mom or their dad out they have a good connection with their their family they love their family their family people i can vote for that in the end versus somebody's like my best friend i hate my family and you're like oh dang dude is that nah who's nah no i don't think so no no i don't i you know i was just talking uh to my partner about this because i don't know if hearing about someone giving all their money to their family or how close they're they are to their family is enough for me uh to give a vote because i'm like i'm also close with my family sure and it's like it doesn't like pull me so if i'm like oh i know that i don't know jonathan's brother came okay so what but like if he was like oh my brother came and i don't know and then he gives like a little more spice to it then maybe it'd be something but i don't think um if someone's best friend came in comparison to their mother i don't think it would change my vote whatsoever it's just like like it's it's it's just their family visit yeah yeah yeah i just sometimes think it's weird when somebody's like this is my best friend like it is a little suspicious yeah shouldn't you have brought your family like are you on the run yeah who's i mean maybe you're not close with your family there's lots of reasons but it could be that your grandma died yeah and his grandma didn't die his grandma was the closest person in his life but instead he had his friend come out and tell him his grandma died oh which was great play it was a historic moment in survivor but uh yeah but i'm like i just feel like if you're giving a once in a lifetime opportunity to somebody it should be the most important person in your life that would cherish that moment if that's your best friend great choose your best friend that's great that's no problem but when somebody's like i love so and so i'm like i'm a daddy's girl or whatever and this is my sorority sister but you just talked about your dad the whole season where's your dad at who is your dad like any of that so i don't know i i'm probably reading into it too much i just feel like give it to the closest person in your life that's going to cherish that moment i mean they all they all brought family they all brought family yeah yeah so everyone gets a vote this time they did yeah yeah or what if what somebody raffled off like what if i go on survivor again i'm like i'm gonna raffle off before i go my family visit whoa and then i'll put you down as my family visit well jeff's not gonna i would not would that lose your jury votes probably if that i would not love that you just have some random person that's what i'm saying never met him before yeah never okay yeah that's from survivor that's bad welcome here that's my family visit yeah i don't know about that one yeah that's probably not good okay fine um yeah i like the family visit the problem the problem that this is going to have is that they can only do it here once and get that same reaction now it's just gonna be a disappointment so next season if they don't have the final three families come in well where's our family oh they didn't see it yet they didn't see it they can do it next season yes by 52 they can't do it anymore yeah but if they don't do it then it's a disappointment so even though they're just like oh yummy breakfast where's our family where's our family yeah they're like eh we don't do that anymore sorry guys well I guess the breakfast is okay now you're getting a bummer reaction for the breakfast maybe if it was like a surprise family visit so it'd be like oh I thought I found an idol but really it's my ticket to see my brother and then your brother like comes out or something like it's just like they have to have every member of every family member from every person ready cause I did hear I eavesdropped Tiffany on the red carpet she said final fives family members were all in Fiji and they didn't get to see him Rizzo and Tiffany didn't get to see their family members that happened to you right that happened to me in Brazil my brother flew all the way out and there were like two or three of us that didn't get to see him cause we got voted out before the family visit episode oh see there it is that stinks that sucks heavy that's terrible yeah so I saw the caravan of cars where they were driving through town and I knew my brother was in one of those cars and you just yeah and there's nothing I could do that sucks so bad so and that happened to Tiffany and Rizzo this episode everyone I don't know if they knew or not in that moment that their loved ones were in the country they probably knew I don't know how but they probably knew they probably did I think at Ponderosa they told me they were like your brother flew out I don't think they should tell you either yeah but you kind of already knew like I kind of knew I was like there's no way it took three days to get here I got voted out last night like my brother's here somewhere yeah give him to me so and then I think just final tribal council right is that what else anything else we missing no final tribal I mean we talked a bit about you know the jury members that were advocating for the total package the total if if you're still with us please never call me the total package I don't like it it is ick it's got some ick yeah it was weird and the more you say it the ickier it gets like once you're like oh that was a probably that was a slip of the tongue and then and then write it down the total package just like at that point writing it down you're not convincing other people on the jury to vote because the votes already just happened so now it's just a personal thing it's so weird it's so it's so fucking weird it is it funny it is do you think Stephanie thinks it's funny I think she really meant it I think so too but she's married and she has a family and she's all over the place and she's all over the place and she's all over the place and she's all over the stuff it's like so she just like it's like when people meet like when moms meet like the rock or something and they get like a little too comfortable with the rock yeah I think it's like one of those moments where she just she really likes Jonathan yeah maybe a little too much okay but I'm glad she told us because I watched I watched her and Ozzy on stage yeah and every time she said the total package Ozzy would give her like the nudges and she'd be like so she was laughing it off but you could tell she was also like that's great that's fine oh man did they give you like wine or champagne or something before you they probably do in the back room I'm sure yeah okay I tried to get us in the back room but the person I talked to was like I'm not the person to talk to no I'm saying at final tribal council for the jurors that are there was there a little bit of like you know liquid lubrication oh yeah you're allowed to drink whatever like you can have drinks at Ponderosa yeah and a lot of times in the tent beforehand they'll have beverages on hand I wonder if a little of that was involved a little bit a little tipsy that could have been but then also because then she did you know she did not end up with a question no no question which I feel like is the best part even after she was reminded twice she was like I'm getting you a question that she never did she never got there she just wanted to tell Jonathan he was the total package she did get there oh my gosh oh man um anything else from your live experience that you that uh was that you think the fans would enjoy hearing about that you didn't even fathom or think would be part of the experience um we were sitting behind two rows of all the scavenger hunt people yeah yeah um it was just so cool to see I think that's why we experienced most of like the the fun they were so into it they were just it was so much energy it was much more enjoyable being around them because they were having the time of their lives man I went out to go to the to go get snacks about halfway through the finale there was still a line of a hundred people waiting to get in wow that were hoping that they're they would get standby tickets they were still trying to squeeze people in to make room to see where seats were it was like you missed half of it already and they're like we are hoping that we can get in for the second half wow and I was like half a tv show that's crazy yeah they're missing like a bunch they should just run it twice yeah for a new audience and just have Jeff like work like seven hours it's amazing the momentum this this season has gone like I that's how finales always have been but like it feels like it's like even more than normal you know what I'm saying like even like when we're going around talking to people from the ringer they're really like into
