‘Survivor 50’ Episode 8 Exit Interviews! | The Pod Has Spoken
38m 37s
Coach reflects on a recent Survivor season, detailing a personal and strategic failure that led to emotional turmoil and a breakdown in alliances. He explains how a critical rule—only one player could play their "shot in the dark" in a double duo—created confusion and unintended consequences, which he attributes to both game mechanics and personal missteps. Despite this, he finds healing in the support of fellow players, like Rizzo and Camilla, who affirm his value and authenticity. He acknowledges the polarizing nature of his persona and the hate he faced, but insists that this was outweighed by genuine connection and growth. The experience deepened his self-awareness and reinforced his identity as a man of integrity and emotional honesty. He shares that his legacy is one of authenticity, not just survival tactics, and that he is not interested in returning to the show, choosing instead to focus on family and personal fulfillment. Fan reactions, including a heartfelt haiku from Ashley, highlight the emotional resonance of his journey. Ultimately, Coach sees this season as his favorite, not just for its entertainment value but for the emotional truth it revealed, and he embraces a legacy defined by real connection rather than victory.

all right welcome back to the pod has spoken exit press we have coach
so sit back
we're going to go ahead and get started
and we're going to go ahead and get started
relax enjoy get some popcorn if you need because uh he takes us on a journey coach
what happened actually listen i mean just i mean the way that you say my name i need to make it as
a ringtone so that if i'm ever feeling down uh the way that you say coach is just music to my ears
you know what happened man i freaking messed up dude i took your advice from a long time ago
to just lay low
and not make a big target on yourself but man i just i got sloppy i got messy i started lying
which i'm terrible at uh and i freaking got caught up in it all as a coach 4.0 crafted played
beautifully i mean what a magnificent game i played for 12 days 13 days and then it just went
all down to draft downhill well let's talk about that the 12 and 13 days last time you played it
was a 39 day game on a three-day cycle this had 24 hours of practice and i was like oh my god i'm
gonna play this game for 24 players in 26 days did the accelerated uh scheduling change the way the
game moved i actually like the faster pace of it and but we were all sitting around thinking on day
six how is this mathematically possible on day 10 we were like this is crazy is it gonna be you know
more than 26 days it can't be more than 26 days so i i did like the faster format um although
perhaps there was a little bit less
time to form bonds yeah but you know but for me you know talking about how it happened um i i just
i really messed up i really i'm seeing first of all i'm seeing my army right i i amassed this huge
army camilla and i were like absolute besties uh even d and tiffany besties uh charlie like right
hand man i said charlie you know no promises but man it could be you and me at the end same thing
as mike white you know like right hand man i said charlie you know no promises but man it could be
relationships that you know transpire the game mike and i talking all the time charlie and i
talking all the time kyle i met him at a rock concert that i was playing with ben katzman he
was like i'm a huge buffalo bills fan signed my jersey and then afterwards ben katzman was like
you know who that was and i'm like no i didn't watch the season you're like that was kyle man
he like just won and i'm like i didn't know anyway so like but i mean like i'm getting all
these great relationships with people and then just luck i don't know who said it it might have
been you but somebody said you know like survivor is like there is a lot of luck in
involved and so these people are going even angelina right it was like winking at me and
knowing that she has a two-year-old at home like that bond of being mother and father
dude i had this huge army and it's just getting picked off systematically and i'm watching that
happen i'm like i still have the numbers you know but like things are getting dicey and then they
throw the you know the blood moon at us and and i forgot colby didn't have a vote they actually
asked me to throw the challenge i haven't said this to anybody else uh but they actually joe and
let's let's let's get colby's vote back and let's vote out aubrey um or um tiffany or whatever and
and i was and i should have but i said you know nothing ever good comes out of throwing a
challenge it just goes against who i am so we didn't i forgot colby didn't have a vote so when
we finished the challenge which i could have gone longer i mean i went longer i went 50 minutes in
token use i could have gone longer d looks around and says coach i got you i said d are you sure
she's like coach i got your back so in my mind i'm like great let's get out emily i forgot about
i never watched their season i forgot they were on the same season mistake number one
mistake number two i forgot colby didn't have a vote i was just sitting there with colby
and you can see me colby leans around he's like coach we're screwed and i'm like dude we still
have the numbers you me and sari and he was like i don't have a vote and i'm like
and you can see i say the f-bomb because it's in that moment that i realized i screwed up so
then i hit the beach i'm scrambling with d i'm like being stupid i'm being messy you know and
like i almost go home and so then i'm like unsettled by that and i'm like okay let's
regroup i'm talking to people emily's like coach i really want to work with you devins is like you
know i'm in the nucleus of everything and i have been since day one everybody wanted to work with
me and my one before that we heard in pre-game that everybody wanted to come to you like every
interview was i want to work with coach i mean and i think you know like and maybe i messed it
up when i assaulted ozzy in front of everybody you know but it's like i have one commodity in the game
tyson you have you're very rare because you have strategy and you also have challenge prowess i
don't have that man i'm not a good person in challenge maybe with a monkey paw and a grappling
hook but that's it you know so like the only commodity i have is to is to vote the way that
i say that i'm going to vote and so a lot of times my honor and integrity gets construed and people
think that means that i'm back in token teams i'm never going to lie in this game that's not it i
know i'm gonna have to lie in this game but if i say i'm gonna vote a certain way i'm gonna vote a
you know like and that's what makes last night so stupid because like i'm the person i'm the
commodity that you know and now you're gonna lose that uh for a commodity that that you don't know
perhaps to their downfall that you know is chaotic even exactly exactly and just one more thing
because i know you got more questions but the reason why i became unhinged that one day is
because in this day and age survivor 50 all returning players nobody wanted to split the
vote and i'm sorry you taught me that in token genes if you have the numbers split the vote in
an idol or a shot in the darkest blade and nobody wanted to split the votes i said are you sure you
want to put 12 votes on d that's what it's going to be and chrissy and stephanie and joe and jonathan
and ozzy and everybody says yeah because we don't want to put tiffany's name down and i'm like this
is asinine i do not want to go out and it's shot in the dark and it's a one in six chance of me
going home i will fight and unfortunately it was kind of the hill that i started to die on
by just preposterous that nobody wanted to split the vote yeah i uh i saw
that it was difficult and i did think about that and i was like there are the people that
don't want to put tiffany's name down probably were the ones you needed to be most suspect of
because now you have to assume they have something going on with tiffany if they're
unwilling to do that let's talk about joe voting for you after there was some discourse online
so he had said i will not vote for you coach we're in an alliance we're filled with
honor and integrity and then the speculation was that he only put chrissy's name on parchment
but if you zoom in riley i think posted on our social medias this morning he did in fact write
coach down on the parchment he scribbled it really sloppy and really small down below chrissy's name
do you agree with him voting for you in that moment do you take it to like is it
because you had this bond with him is that
a mark against him or is that a mark of good gameplay yeah so i'll take you to a couple of
moments in this story um joe did come up to me and i was not on the hammock the whole day but
i was on it for you know a good part of it but i i walked around i did start talking to people and
joe says to me and really quiet he was like i will never say this to anybody else on in the game but
he was like do you trust your alliance and he like whispered it i had to say what i'm going deaf i'm
what he's like did you did you did you trust your alliance do you trust your alliance i said all right
well look man let's let's get it i trust you i trust uh you know jonathan i trust 70 i trust
chrissy i'm like going through everything and then i'm like i mean i don't i don't know if i trust
ozzy and sari you know stephanie says that she's good to go and da da da da and so but he did give
me that heads up that maybe things weren't on in the moment i felt incredibly betrayed and
you know not only are you going to see some amazing suits uh on the jury and i'm going to
be modeling for you tyson but you're also going to see you know some uh some really salty looks
and joe wanted me to look at him so bad you know and i would not i was pissed at him i was
he was just craving your gaze he was craving my gaze i like that and uh and and i was living with
him after everything was said and done you know he said he said to me he said you know
"Coach, I actually did not write your name down."
And they made me go back in there.
Do you remember that?
And of course, I mean, in that moment, I'm not going to remember that.
But he said it happened.
And I'm going to take him at face value that he went in there and he said he wrote Chrissy's
name down.
And then they called him back in there.
You started walking down and they called him back in there.
And I do vaguely remember something like this happening.
Then he went back in there and scribbled my name down.
So now I don't feel betrayed.
But in the moment, I really did feel betrayed by him the most.
So him just writing Chrissy's name on parchment would have been better for your heart than
him also putting your name down.
Because essentially, with this twist, a vote for Chrissy is a vote for coach.
I don't know if it's different.
I don't know if it's an integrity loophole.
It actually reminds me.
It is an integrity loophole.
You're so clever with words.
You're so clever with words, man.
You're actually clever.
When Oscar Wilde said, you know, I'm so clever that I don't understand half the words coming
out of my mouth.
That's me.
You're actually wise.
Anyway, yeah, it's an integrity loophole.
But it's kind of like when I threw a Courtney vote when we were tying it up with Boston
Rob.
Yeah.
And it was like a chicken shit way out.
So I'm sorry to say that, Joe.
But, you know, it was a chicken shit way out.
I tried to take that out and did that way out.
And it was stupid.
Yeah.
In my opinion, it's more powerful and more acceptable to just go.
If you're going to do it, just own up to it immediately and be bold about it and be like,
coach, I was painted into a corner.
There was nothing I could do at that moment.
And yeah, I do have a deal with you, but the writing was on the wall and I needed to stick
with the majority.
Because it wouldn't have mattered.
And I needed to do what's best for my game, knowing that this was the way it was going
to go.
Yeah, for sure.
Riley, what do you have for coach?
Coach, you said on the way out, it was a healing experience.
What was healing?
Yeah, you know, like I said to my kids last night, because, you know, they were trying
to process it.
And also my wife was like, why are you making up haikus and singing?
You don't do that in real life.
And I'm like, but I do.
Like I had my first poem published when I was in seventh grade.
I made kids songs up for all of my kids, you know, and I sing to them, even when my
daughter still has a nightmare, I'll go into her bedroom and I'll sing those songs to her.
So that is me.
But I said to my family last night, it's hard to be me, but I wouldn't want to be anybody
else.
And so I've had a lot of hatred, you know, I've had a lot of hatred, not in my real life,
completely the opposite.
But I mean, I put a target on my back.
I understand that, right?
I sit there and say integrity.
And then don't live up to it.
And so I've just gotten a lot of hatred and I'm, and I'm used to people, you know, then
they let it creep in the last few episodes.
Production is like, Hey, you know what?
We're going to get coach.
We're going to make sure we catch the eye roll.
We're going to make sure that we get this kind of stuff, you know?
Um, but it was really healing to hear people, you know, like Rizzo just say, you're my idol.
He said that on day one, it didn't make the edit, but he said it in front of everybody.
Coach, you're my idol, man.
My first season was token jeans and to hear Camilla.
Say, you know, coach, like you're my favorite player of all time.
Um, and even at the end result, you know, saying you changed my life.
That's healing.
You know, I came out here thinking that, uh, I didn't have any old wounds.
I'm a very positive person.
I wake up every morning, just ecstatic to be alive.
Um, but you know, like I realized I did have some PTSD out there and it was healing knowing,
uh, you know, that I'm going to remain authentic to myself and that, you know, that people
have come around to it.
Enjoying what I'm laying down for the most part.
I think that's a good observation.
Uh, cause we go all the way back to token chains.
I experienced that with you.
You got a lot of hate, a lot of hate, and you got some love too, but you got also, I
would say an overwhelming amount of hate, but you over the years.
It, even for token chains, it became mostly love.
Like all the fans decided, you know, what coaches coach he's a legend.
He's a franchise player and they mostly celebrate.
I think also these people that are looking at you and giving you hate a, it's a small
percentage and B, these are new fans who have not maybe celebrated the full, uh, the full
collection.
The full coach collection.
I think if they go back and rewatch, they will, I think that legends eventually become
celebrated, uh, pretty universally.
So I think you've got that coming.
I think those people will come back.
I think you're going to have a flood of messages in your inbox over the next handful of years,
uh, asking forgiveness for the hate that they sent you.
Um, I know that was my experience to a certain degree.
And I also know that was your experience and it's the cycle of TV.
They're going to hate you.
Then everybody's going to forget as the new flavor of the month comes around.
And then they're going to go back and rewatch and decide that you're a lot better than some
of the flavors of the month.
So, uh, yeah, that's, uh, that's my two cents.
Ashley, what do you have?
That's cool.
I appreciate that.
Yeah.
Um, I wrote you a haiku.
Like I actually took the time to write it.
Uh, Confucius did say, don't be ashamed of mistakes.
So let the tide walk.
Wow.
That's better than anything.
That's amazing.
Did you write that all on your own, Ashley?
Yeah.
I woke up in the middle of the night and I was like, you know, I should write him a haiku
cause you know, and I looked up some Confucius, uh, quotes cause I do not know any quotes
by heart.
And I was just looking through a few and I, I feel like I, you know, you're just telling
us about how you're rewatching everything with your family and just kind of seeing your
how the edit was and how you're portrayed on TV.
And I, I just don't think that it's, it's, you should take this as heavy as you're, you're
taking it because you are a legend to survivor.
People enjoy seeing you on TV.
People enjoy hearing you sing and making, um, haikus and, and all the quotes that you
come up with and all the quotes that you know, uh, you are a very interesting guy and we
are lucky to have seen you on our TV screen.
So please do not, you know, take all the hatred to heart because a lot of the people who are
putting the hatred on you are just not happy that they can't be themselves on TV and you,
we were lucky to see you be yourself on TV.
So thank you for that.
I appreciate, I deeply appreciate that.
I got, actually got me a little bit emotional.
Um, I do want to just say, you know, like, uh, just to, just for people to understand,
you know, I can take a lot of heat, but you know,
first season, it was really social media and it's infancy.
So somebody could write an article and call me a pathological liar and, and people would
think it was like a resourced newspaper article.
In fact, Rolling Stone, I think they're going to do a big article on me and they're doing
a deep dive into just me and my life, not necessarily survivor.
And the editor's like, I can't believe people don't believe this.
Like I'm researching, like, she's like looking at micro, you know, stuff.
And she's like, look at this article and look at this article and here's the LA times and
here's Mexico.
Here's Honduras.
Like there's all these articles about like the stuff that I've done, but what hurt most
that first season is that, you know, I saw my inner circle start to doubt me.
And the only person in my life at that time, even my parents, you know, they stopped watching
the show.
They said that I was making a jackass out of myself on national TV.
The only person that still had faith in me was the guy that Tyson knows his name was
Ray White.
He was the only guy that, that, uh, that, that stuck by me.
So that was the hard thing.
And now to this season.
And, you know, I hate getting emotional about it, but you know, like my kids get shit, you
know, because I'm just, you know, because I live in a small town and I'm the guy, you
know, like I've always been on top, you know, best travel player in the world, you know,
best soccer coach.
I'm like, I've always been on top.
And so like people always, you know, and I'm, I'm okay with that.
I can handle it.
When my inner circle started doubting me, that's what, that's what I'm talking about
that first season.
People saying, you know.
If you kill yourself and getting messages like that every day, I can take those with
a grain of salt, but you know, it was like the inner circle.
And now, you know, like with my daughter, you know, people, if you walked into a classroom
where people are like saying, you know, dragon slayer, dragon slayer, dragon slayer, you
know?
So, you know, that, that gets me down and that's why I've told them no for so long is
because I don't want to open up my family to that.
I got big shoulders.
I know exactly who I am.
I found out the meaning of life and 99% of people out there have not found out the meaning
of life.
I've found it.
And I'm grounded in that.
But when it affects people around me, then it deeply wounds me because I can't go and
fight their battles.
Sorry to get emotional.
Yeah, no, I appreciate that.
That's coming from the heart and I, yeah, that does make it hard.
I think moving through reality TV with kids at home is definitely a different beast altogether.
Touching on those, those points you made coach a couple things.
How do you feel this experience measures up to
the other three times you've been on the show?
Is there a way to quantify that?
Was this, you said it was healing.
Was it more healing than the others?
Was it some closure you needed?
Was it, did it open up new wounds?
Are you hungry to go back?
Like, touch on all of that if you could.
Yeah, I think that it healed old wounds.
I think that when people ask me,
you know, what my favorite season was,
I will always say there was nothing like the first time, right?
When we do something for the first time
in anything in life,
that experience is the most cherished.
But as far as just season goes,
this was my favorite one.
It really was.
Am I hungry to go back?
No.
You know, I told Jeff and Matt,
when we finished wrapping,
I said, don't ask me back.
I know they're going to.
I said, don't ask me back.
I don't want to say no.
And you know, I can't say no to you.
So it's like, I don't want to go back on again.
I'm not hungry to go back on again.
I mean, I would do one other show maybe,
but other than that, you know,
I'm happy to ride off into the sunset
and leave my legacy for everybody to dissect.
Okay.
Okay.
And that, I mean,
we've had conversations, Coach, you and I,
where you've said that you're happy to be done,
but then I've also gotten messages from you
where you're ready to go back.
Do you think that over time,
Do you think that over time,
your hunger to go back will increase?
You know, you and I are both in the same spot in life.
We are now seeing that our legacy
is not going to be through our own accomplishments
and achievements,
but it's going to be through
the generational legacy of our kids.
That's my number two meaning of life.
And so we're in that spot, you know?
And so I wore in my own heart about that,
you know, that desire to leave my stamp personally
on this world.
Which I'm doing every day in my real life.
But am I forgotten, you know,
in the realms of survivor?
And so I struggle with that because I know that
going on one more time is not going to increase anything,
but I also have this huge thirst for, you know,
letting people know these fundamental truths
that I've learned.
I said that on the show over and over again.
My wife is like, "Do you have to do the haikus?"
You know, going back to that.
And I'm like, I said fundamental truths
in every single moment.
You know, in every single interview.
They put one on there, the Zac Brown,
when I said, "You've got to slow down time
and live in the moment."
I was given stuff in every interview.
They didn't want that, no.
They wanted the eclecticness of the dragon slayer.
And so, you know, and so like there's part of me
that wants to share my joy with other people.
I do think that came across amazing this year.
You know, halfway through "Token Jeans,"
Ray White said to me, "You haven't smiled one time out here.
You're so serious."
And it did make me think, yeah,
I got to show people that happy side of me,
because you know it, Tyson.
You know, just like I know that very honest,
caring, beautiful soul that you hide sometime
beneath the wit and charm and cleverness.
But you know, I think that I do love being on stage.
And "Survivor" is the ultimate stage.
And so like, so that I'm warring between that.
Like, let me just be here for my kids and not leave them.
And it's like, Traitor, what's that?
Should I go on the show?
But as far as "Survivor," man, I really would be,
I really would, and it sucks sleeping on the dirt out there.
Man, I was so uncomfortable, you know.
I was eight and young and it was much easier.
And this time it was just like, and dude, look at me now.
I mean, I'm not handsome, but at least,
last night I was looking at the episode.
I'm like, I look 65 out there.
I'll never grow out a beard.
Let me tell you that, dude,
'cause that just makes me look ridiculous.
- Well, my advice, coach, if they call you back,
is to say on one condition that you get to bring a trumpet.
- Ooh, let's go with the trumpet, there you go.
- Okay, well, that, coach, is all the time we have.
We wished we got you longer, obviously,
but it was a hell of a ride for us as viewers
and we enjoyed every minute of it.
And yeah, now, coach, you can just watch
and criticize the players online
like all the fans have been doing to you.
So that'll be perfect.
- You ready to see my sexy fits at Tribal?
- Oh, my gosh, I can't wait, I can't wait.
So yeah, I'll put that in my notes
to be on the lookout for that.
Thanks again, coach, for the time.

- Thank you.
- All right, loved hearing from Coach.
And I also loved that Ashley was able to get Coach
to get a little bit emotional with an amazing haiku.
Ashley, how long did that take you to write?
- Maybe five to 10 minutes.
- Incredible.
You're an artist.
- Thank you, thank you.
- You're an artist, yes, really incredible.
Riley, what do you think of Ashley's haiku?
- Amazing.
I mean, I'm self-conscious now.
I just asked some boring question
and Ash comes in with the haiku, incredible.
- I know.
If she had told us that she was gonna write a haiku
for Coach before we went in,
would you have tried to also write a haiku?
- No, no, no, no.
I think only one, you can only have one haiku.
We can't all be doing haikus.
- Oh, would you have like wrote a song maybe?
'Cause he likes- - Oh, a song.
- A song. - A little ditty.
- Yeah.
- No, I'd be terrible at writing songs.
- Or give Coach a new nickname.
- Ooh.
- Maybe that.
Maybe I would give him a new nickname.
I don't know though.
Dragonslayer is just so,
I mean, he tried to give himself a new nickname this season
and it didn't stick 'cause he is the Dragonslayer.
It's just, you know, it is what it is.
- How'd you feel about Coach?
Was this healing for Coach?
'Cause part of me is thinking that
he's reacting similar to how he did after Token Chains
with the hate.
There's not near as much from what I'm seeing online.
It's probably like 10% of the comments
and things he's getting are hate.
- I hope it was healing for him.
I mean, I absolutely love Coach on all of his seasons
and was so happy to not only have him on this season,
but, you know, from episode one,
you're like, oh, he's bringing it.
Like he's Coach, this is happening.
And the whole season, I mean, he brought it the whole season.
So I loved him.
You know, if he is getting some hate
and I know that he can be a little bit polarizing,
obviously he's a big personality.
I think every big personality ends up being
a little bit polarizing for people, you know?
But I would imagine most people were like,
this guy brought just so much entertainment to this season.
I'm sad to see him go here and I don't know.
But he was everything I wanted through eight episodes.
- Okay.
Yeah, he was incredible.
I love that we got to see him kind of really scrambly
and frustrated last week.
I think that that's a coach, a side of coach that. - I love that he like, you know,
he held it together for, like you said, 12 or 13 days.
And then it was just like "Dragon Slayer" came out
and like "Survivor" has this way of just stripping
all those plans away from people, you know?
It is the like Mike Tyson, you get punched in the mouth
and suddenly you're just back to who you are at the core.
It's almost impossible to avoid.
And it was great.
He just starts, you know, putting his foot in his mouth
and doing haikus and sitting in the hammock
and whatever else and I loved it.
- Right, I did too.
And I also got some clarity on the votes last night.
- Okay.
- I talked to two people, one on each side of the vote.
- Uh-oh.
- To decide, to ask if Devin's idol, fake idol,
pushed the votes the other direction or not.
- Yeah.
- One said, "Maybe."
- Okay.
- And one said, "Probably not."
- Okay.
- So, one said it was probably gonna be Coach and Chrissy,
no matter what.
- Hmm.
- Okay. - And then the other one,
said that um it probably could but unclear so most likely it was going to be coach and chrissy
based off of the those two they're like honestly we can never know like you could know you could
talk to people and find out how they were voting but are they telling the truth are they telling
the truth or do they remember properly or anything like that so if that's the case then
sari definitely seems like she was the catalyst to go for coaching chrissy wow oh you mean before
even sari got there or like no i mean at tribal council did that did that shift so what i'm saying
is because my speculation was that it reverted back to aubrey and devins and then because of
devins uh so sari wasn't gonna like get her way basically they were gonna go with aubrey and
devins
yeah
yeah
that's what i that's what i felt like was happening but yeah after it seems like talking
to some people it seems like sari did in fact get her way and was going to it was going to be
coaching chrissy perhaps anyways no matter what so yeah um and then finally a lot of people
probably asking uh i think chrissy declined to do exit press uh i'm not 100 sure certain if she's
spoke to other outlets or anything but uh she is unavailable for us
uh which is too bad because uh loss yeah yeah i feel like talking to us would have been healing
for her we would have tried to make it as healing as possible we like to have fun and uh get some
people to smile and who knows maybe ashley will write you a haiku like what could have been we'll
never know um anything else with coach before we shut it down um i just want to tell everyone
like do not tell people to kill themselves just because you didn't like how they vote
or if they like told everyone to like not lie and stuff you know on survivor it is a tv show we are
having fun please just have fun relax take a breather it's not for real um we're all we're
all friends here like just we're a community so don't do that right have fun yeah they're real
people and also like the reason coach is on four times now and the reason that he's so memorable
is because he is polarizing and he's willing to do things that sometimes people hate and even
knowing that they hate them he will still do them and that's kind of what makes good tv so uh
you can't have it both ways like it's do you want good tv yeah or do you want people you don't hate
on tv just just sit all clammed up on the beach i'm afraid to do anything or say anything
yep so and we do like i can speak to that like you do go out there like okay how are the fans
gonna react to this am i gonna get a bunch of shit am i gonna be the heroes what am i gonna
like but again like that's paralyzing as a reality tv contestant to play that way um that'll do it
here uh love coach uh again like you know we got so many legends of the game playing and
people we love and contestants and we say it every single episode we do of exit press we're
sad to see him leave but we are definitely sad to see coach leave and excited to see the fits
he has on the jury oh yeah oh yeah f-i-t-s not uh i guess it's the same still be f-i-t-s we know
what you mean
clothing we're talking about this clothing yeah oh yeah um all right
that'll do it here at the pod has spoken do not forget to subscribe like share whatever whatever
you do uh we are grateful for everyone tuning in until next week see you okay we're hopping back
on we're hopping back on tyson say what you were just saying can you start with uh the like magic
words the magic like three words for me well what is that you were right he's never said that you
were right yeah
but you just guess like that was it was just but i was still right i was still right okay
explain to our audience why we're hopping back okay so last night there was some confusion on
my part i think any viewer that's mathematically inclined is also considering like why didn't this
happen why didn't coach and chrissy both play their shot in the dark coach called me yesterday
and i asked him that and uh he said he didn't know he said no
nobody he's like i was like if chrissy and you both played you had a one-third chance of like
of winning uh and staying he's like dang it i don't uh then i texted somebody else
and they said that there were a lot of rules for the double duo down wrigley spearmint gum
uh the twist and that one of the rules was that
only one of the two could play their shot in the dark only one shot in the dark yep
yeah so i yeah so that was it so i guess riley's right in thank you there we go there it is
music to my ears no you didn't even let me finish my sentence yet
i guess i got everything i needed right there no wait ashley do not stop recording
i guess riley was correct in speculating that maybe only one person could
i mean there's only two guesses it's that they can i got it right though okay you got it right
but we didn't see the fine print or the writing or anything like that and so uh i think that's
one of the issues with the twist is that we aren't going to get all the rules because some of them
have a lot of rules and i think that's one of the issues with the twist is that we aren't going to
rules and so not knowing that as a viewer and watching it on screen it doesn't make sense you
think that chrissy's being a bonehead because she didn't play her shot in the dark and you think
that coach is also being a little boneheaded by not telling her that he's playing his shot in the
dark and that she should play her shot in the dark so um that makes sense i guess um as to why it
didn't happen it definitely makes sense but i do i stand by the fact that i think that it should not
have been in the rules you're gonna make a double the duo the double chance of double chance of
everything yeah and the incentive for a vote split becomes so strong if it's a one in three
oh my goodness exactly exactly riley or the wolf of quiet pines um okay well we'll end on that note
uh riley i i guess you were right i appreciate it we had to hop on to record
when she started saying this i was like are you kidding me we gotta get this on the record
yeah and i probably have more stuff i don't know but uh that's what we got so uh that's it for real
that's it for real yeah that's it for real for real bye
