(ブルーブゼリー) (バンブルーブゼリー) (バンブルーブゼリー) (バンブルーブゼリー) (バンブルーブゼリー) (バンブルーブゼリー) you're supposed to have a plan if the ball comes to you, where you're going to go and if the runners reacted certain way, where you have to go then, and you have to have that all in your head before the ball gets hit. Right. Same thing. Before tribal council, you need all these like step by step in your head and hope that everybody has them straight as well. What? Totally. I was afraid I was going to screw that up a couple times actually. I was like, don't write the wrong name down. People have screwed that up in the past. I'm like, okay, this is too much. What made you decide, and we saw this on screen, maybe it's out of time in a different, but we saw you choose kind of to go with Jonathan and Aubrey. Did you believe that they were telling you the truth that you were Syri's target to a certain degree or it looked like in the hammock, in the hammock, Jonathan and Aubrey were talking about targeting Ozzy with you and Devin's, and so then it looked like you decided to go along with that plan, believing that Ozzy or Syri was kind of contemplating making a move on you. So then it looked like you went back to Syri, yeah. So Jonathan said a couple days ago Ozzy said he didn't trust me. Okay. And I was like, why would Ozzy, who is obviously closely aligned with Syri, who I'm hopeful that I'm also aligned with at this point, I'm like, why would he say that? We are like this. And that's why I was like, we're like tight. And what you guys didn't see was the week before when Christian went, we were a tribal council. And he was literally such a wreck because his name had been thrown out there that day that he was just ready to play his idol. Like he was, he was so ready and he, at one point I think we were like holding hands and he was like, should I play it? Do you think? And I'm like, no, you are fine. It is between either Christian, Christian or Devin's, we're going to split the vote. You're fine. And he's like, I'm trusting you. I'm like, Ozzy, I swear to you, like because seriously, I'm a very honest person. I'm too freaking honest for these games. I'm like, I swear to you. You got to stop saying that. You can't say that because Coach gave that a bad rap. You can't. Oh, he did. Oh, yes, it's true. That's a different story. I'm like, sit in the hammock. Oh, don't say it. No, I can't. So when he's telling me Ozzy's walking around and saying he doesn't trust me, I'm like, what? Why would he say that? I'm like, are you serious? And so that's when I was like, okay, I'll consider this if we can get the numbers. But then good old Joe goes over and tells three. I'm like, who's the side are you on? Like are you playing all the side? Like Joe? He's just honest. He's starting about Joe. And I love Joe. Honest, but you're supposed to be like best friends with Jonathan. Forget about me. You're supposed to be in with Jonathan. You just pulled the whole plan. Right. Right. I at least know not to go tell him people to plan. That's different. Being honest to go in and run in and tell him the plan is to do everything, Tyson. Oh, I know. I know. You can be honest and just keep your mouth shut. Exactly. But that's what makes this so great. Like survivor wouldn't work if people all just kept their mouth shut. What? It wouldn't. When you then confronted Suri and Ozzie about going against them and you denied it, could you tell that Suri wasn't buying it? So yes. So then I immediately, so when Suri goes, what's the plan? And she's sitting in the hammock with Tiffany and I'm like, I don't know, I still heard it. And I knew right then the way she looked at me and I'm like, all right, well, I'm going to get her alone and tell her the truth. But I don't know Tiffany. I'm not aligned with Tiffany. I don't know who Tiffany's talking to. I'm not saying anything in front of Tiffany, but Suri immediately took that like Stephanie just lied to me. And I think that's when she did a confession on like Stephanie just lied to me. So this is now Stephanie and Jonathan versus me and Ozzie, which I never felt that way. It was never going to be us first them. So then I pull Suri and Ozzie aside, which you don't say. And I said, listen, I'm going to tell you something right now. Ozzie, your name came up. It was not my plan. Your name did come up and I was told and I entertained it. And it's because I was told, you said you don't trust me a couple of days ago. So he fests us up. He goes, you're right. I did say that. And I wanted to I go, why would you say that? Like you're the one confiding in me. I'm telling you, you don't have to play your, your idol, like you're safe. You know, I have your back. I've never given you a reason not to trust me. And he's like, I wanted to see if it would get back to me is what he said. I said, well, it got back to you. And it's got back to you because I'm telling you the truth. And Suri, I'm telling you the truth. Yes, I just lied to you in front of Tiffany, because I don't know Tiffany. And I don't, I don't trust Tiffany. I don't know her game at all. I said, but I'm telling you the truth right now to your face. Yes, it came up. Wasn't my idea. I entertained the thought of it. It wasn't happening. I don't want to do that. So it's a big scramble. I said, now I heard your, you throw my name out there. Are you really going to vote for me? And then they showed that part. And she's like, yeah, I'm like, I can't believe you. You're going to, so it's a whole back and forth thing, whatever. And then we were like, that's it. Forget it. Everybody's like, let's just go back to Aubrey Aubrey and Devons. Devons, if Devons is safe, it'll be Aubrey. So I go into tribal really thinking, that's the plan. But really, I don't think that was the plan. I think, I don't think Suri ever planned to be with me really from day one. I really don't. Whatever. Like, that's fine. That's our game. I don't fault her for it. But just say like, no, I was never going to work with you. I'm very excited to see round six of Stephanie versus Suri. If I want to show with her, trust her again, I think my husband's divorced and me, but I'm just only maybe actually what do you have for Stephanie? Come on. Well, I was going to ask, what was it like to watch this entire season back? Because I know that you had a moment that was shown on TV where you said you had a seven person alliance, and it definitely didn't seem that way with everyone else, but especially with Suri's and she was working with literally everybody else. What was it like to watch that back and to be like, dang, she did it again. Well, that's what's funny. Like, when they showed that and then they cut the camera away from me and I say, so it appears that we're running the game. I said that when like Colby was on my tribe, or Mato, I'm like, god damn, editing's a beautiful thing. But I did really at that point think Suri and Ozzie were with me at least. I never thought we were running the show. I didn't want to run the show. That was my whole MO, like I'm like, I'm not going to be leading any charge. So when, you know, when Rizzo tries to call me out last night, I'm like, no, I actually was telling the truth. I was not going to lead the charge on anyone and I'm still not going to. And he's like, don't lie. I'm like Rizzo, do not compare to me. Well, you're damned if you do and you're damned if you don't. That's a, you are a same with prelining like you're damned if you do and you're damned if you don't. It's true. It's for sure. It can bite you or it can help you or it can do both exactly. That's all the time we have unfortunately. We have to wrap up and we know that you have a busy day still ahead of you. So thank you so much, Stephanie, for taking the time. I am keeping my fingers crossed that you and Suri end up on another show together very soon. Like, maybe this is the best thing that ever happened to your career, Stephanie. You just like, wherever Suri goes, you just automatically get attached now as like the person that's emotionally just getting destroyed every single time you meet up with her. Can you handle that? Could you handle that, that job? Just put me on. So she can continue to emotionally manipulate me for the rest of my life. Correct. That's wonderful. Somebody's got to do it. Thanks again, Stephanie, wishing you all the best. Much love. Yes. Thanks. See you later. Thank you so much. Bye. Riley, what's your takeaway from this Stephanie interview? I mean, I loved her honesty about the 39 versus 26 days. You know, finally, I feel like we've got a lot of people who will say, oh, you know, like it is just as hard or whatever kind of toe in the company line a little bit. But she was very real about it, you know, it just, it's a different game. But also, if they come through, then it is a different game too, because of how much more fast pace it is. So it is a different game, yeah. You know, if you're somebody who can roll with that monotony, in some ways, the 39 game benefits you. If you can understand every single pet peeve that could possibly ever exist in humanity and avoid doing any of that, in the downtime, you're great. If you are oblivious to pet peeves and that people actually have them, you're not the last one. Yeah. You are screwed. I also think the takeaway for me was, and it's something I've known for a while. But if you ever go on survivor, and at any point in the season, say to a camera, I think we're running this game, they will cut that at the most, at the time where your downfall is imminent. That is when they will use that as much as they can. That clip is getting put when you are about to get voted out. So there's no way for you to tell or no, because that's all happening afterwards. But don't say it unless you definitely want it to be on TV. And if you win, they almost never show you saying that. So that's right. That's true. Yeah. So it's only getting used if you're going to get voted out and just going to make you look kind of dumb, but it's always a beautiful moment. Like there's never not a time when somebody's like, I'm running this thing and then immediately gets voted out. It's just like every time it's beautiful. Ashley, it should Stephanie. Trust Seria on around the six or seven or whatever this is. - I'm pretty sad. - No. - She's lost to Seria every time in these games. And every time she goes to Seria as an ally. - I don't know, you know, it's crazy. Like the minute I saw Seria on this season, I was like, oh my gosh, I hope nobody trusts her because she's like too good at this game. And everyone has. And so just seeing it, I'm like. And I feel bad for Stephanie 'cause like, it just must feel like a kick in the ass to watch yourself on TV, trust Seria up and down. And then Seria laugh at you, literally laugh at you and what you said right after that must feel pretty like bad. - I have a similar situation, not similar, but Token Sheen's coach lasted longer than me. She was versus villains coach lasted longer than me. He didn't do anything to necessarily get me eliminated directly, but both times I'm like, hey, can't I just last longer than coach one time? But now imagine that happening a handful of times. - That person is responsible and also has told you to your face that you are in an alliance. - Yeah. - I feel like, I feel like Stephanie's being a very good sport about it and laughing about it, but it has to sting. Like, there's no way that like, she doesn't have nightmares of Seria at least once a week. And like, those probably started years ago. The first time it happened and the only closure she's ever going to get is if one day she gets the better of Seria. - Well said. - Yeah, just gotta keep going back on with Seria. - And to Rick, let us know what TV show you're going on next, so we can get Stephanie on there with you. - It's like that tennis player or whatever. Like, nobody beats me seven times in a row. - Yeah. (laughing) - Just keeps going. Yeah, I like that word that just keep, or when you know you're the best and somebody just keeps challenging you. They're like, I think I can get you this time. I'm gonna get you this time. Okay, Mario Kart Friday. I've been practicing, you're like, whatever it is. - Let's go. Yeah, I've, I play Mario Kart with my brother's daughters every time they're around. And Mario Kart, there is some luck to Mario Kart 'cause you have the bonus stars at the end. - Yeah. - I literally have beat them like 20 times in a row. - Wait, are you talking about Mario Kart and Mario Party? - Mario Kart, oh, Mario Party. - Oh, yeah. - Mario Party has the bonus stars at the end. - Oh, there's a lot of luck in Mario Party. - That is impressive. - Oh, you're just loading them up with stars and stuff too. Like, 'cause you can like give them a handicap and everything. - I want. - I think it's kids. - Are these like, get another teenage? - They were just like, broken. - But I was just 20 times in a row. I had one Mario Party against these kids. And every time I beat him, I have a picture of us all standing in front of the screens, pointing to our character on the podium. And it's just me smiling and these girls, just like on the verge of tears pointing at you. - Yeah, exactly. - Yeah. - That's three, two Stephanie on these TV shows. And it has to be, it has to be so frustrating. I know it is frustrating. Like Stephanie smiling and laughing about it. There is a part that it's absurd. And I'm sure she gets a, like some entertainment out of it, but there's a part of her that just has, like. - Yeah. - How do I not? - Yeah. - She's got to be a little pissed. (laughing) - Anything else? - Not much. I think she like, she really is a survivor player. You know what I mean? Stephanie is a really good survivor player. Of course, like, if there's no Suri, she would obviously go way further all the time, probably. But I think, I think I was really surprised to seeing how well of a player she is still. And she adapted really well to the new era gameplay really well. And I, you know what? She is like, if you're looking up in the dictionary, survivor player, she's like one of the, the, like, ultimate survivor player. - There are pictures there. - Yeah, she's there. She's like, or maybe she's upset 'cause she just lost her to Suri. - Because she just lost her Suri again. - Yeah. - I also think looking back, like I like to watch the episodes and be like, okay, that obviously didn't work, hindsight's 2020. But I even think in the moment, like, with Jonathan and Aubrey going to her and telling her Ozzy was floating her name, if she would have ran back to Suri and Ozzy in that moment, or fairly soon, but like, hey, they're floating your name. She would have been totally fine. But that's the thing that you don't know until it happens. Like, you can float names and agree to and shift directions and stuff. And it all works out or you can do that. And it backfires and it's horrible. Or you can choose not to go that direction and run back to whoever you have. Better, like, that's honestly something you have to measure every time you get information. Is, do I take this back to the people I trust most? Do I go against the people I trust most? Do I keep it a secret right now and not tell anybody? And all of them can have positive or negative outcomes. Depending on how every single person that group reacts to, how you reacted. Yeah. So it's a beauty survivor. They've created the perfect game and then slowly tried to ruin it by not really, but I don't think it needs all the twists all the time. Like I've been shocked at how positively received the Mr. Beast twist has been. It feels like it went as well as it possibly could have. And I'm just, I'm a little more like, well, they could have gone, it's re could have gone home on a rock jar on a coin flip. Like what are we doing? Yes, exactly. That's how I think, and I questioned that this morning too. I was like, is the casual, is it, it went well? It was a good tribal council was entertaining. It was crazy. It was also nice, regardless that Mr. Beast didn't get like 25 minutes of finishing it. That's true, yeah. Like that helps a little too. I heard he's gonna do that on his YouTube channel. I'll be watching it with like 50 million other people ever. Yes. They had the, they had the, they did it. They did the spearfishing with him. And then once it was ill received by the fan base for they could, they cut it, but it'll be on survivors, social media accounts as the cutscenes, the outtakes. So yeah, we have that to look forward to. Yeah, I, I don't hate it for, if you're gonna include Mr. Beast on a season of survivor and he's there. Yeah, this is right in Mr. Beast's, Mr. Beast's will house, flipping a coin for your life. Great. Let's not do it again. It worked out, you guys should be counting your blessings that it did actually work out. Because that had been tells and somebody went home. People are up in arms. And then, yeah. Especially if no one volunteers. It's like if Devons goes home there, it's like, well, he was going home anyways. Yeah. And they actually made it kind of easy because it was like, well, it's not really a super beware advantage. It's like the super shot in the dark that has, you know, far better odds and gives you an idol and doubles the prize money. So of course you're taking that. But if it had been one of the, if they had like, if the players on the island had actually crafted a really good blind side. And so the person who was going home didn't know it. And then it becomes this, you know, no one volunteers because nobody feels that they're in danger or they all feel confident enough. Then it's like, oh, holy smokes. We've just taken the decision of who goes home from the players to random chance. And that's like a disaster. I mean, that's not survivor anymore. Yeah, it is true. So I guess I'm the, I'm the convergent on this podcast and a lot of people actually enjoyed last night's episode a lot. 'Cause like also the advantages have been so lopsided. I feel like even with the Mr. Beast advantage, you didn't make much sense. The loss would have been, oh, you go home, but the win was like, two million dollars. You get an immunity thing, did it, did it, did it. I feel like all of our advantages have just been like that over and over. And well, without, they've been without the agency to play the game. Yeah. That's the problem with these advantages is that, with Christian, it was like, if you lose, you have zero agency to maneuver. Yeah. With this, again, no agency, you're just dead. Yeah. There's no agency to maneuver out of a tricky situation. It's just like, nope. That's that. That's that, sorry, nail in the coffin. So I think that that is something that needs to be explored is the negative repercussions for losing in some moments like these still need to allow the player agency to maneuver or get out of it somehow strategically. Yeah. Mm-hmm. So, I mean, even like, and this is just me spitballing, and probably everybody can tell me how dumb of an idea it is. Yeah, let's go. Everyone did that to me at like a week or so ago. Everyone was like, that idea is terrible, is it right? Let's hear it. So let's hear it. Yeah, so the Mr. Beast coin flip like maybe there's something where Devon's can flip it in secret or something not fully in secret, but then if he can convince somebody else to flip it He's safe He can go back, but then the prize money is again increased Maybe everybody that flips and wins Another million dollars was added to the pot You just want as many million dollars added to the pot and if you can commit, but if Rick can convince somebody else to take it Then it's off of him. Yeah So that's I don't know something like that something like that where he can lose the flip But not automatically go home at that. Yeah, I don't like that. I didn't like that Part of the coin flip of you just go home and there's not gonna be a vote I would have rather it be like oh you lose your vote, and we're still gonna have a vote or Or we lose 200,000 dollars off the pot You guys owe us money now something like that something something like that. I just feel like there was no It's yeah, and I mean at the very at the very very least it should have been If no one wants to do it, we just don't do it. You know, it's like completely an opt-in only if Multiple people want to do it then we'll draw rocks to see who does it. Yeah, right if you can't agree, but The the way that it was like oh this is gonna be a forced thing that happens no matter what that's what I Have took most issue with right if you can just all decline it and But of course they don't want that. They don't want to bring mr. Beast all the out of Fiji with the the briefcase and everything It's just like guess what the players hate your twist and no one's doing it like But somebody else would but then they just have them back to the challenge the next day to Reef or no. Yeah, you don't think they have a plan B or a plan C in place there. Maybe they don't but they should And maybe they should have Jeff flip the coin instead of it being a player So then it'd be like one side of the coin is a million dollars and another side of the coin is like something bad happens like Go double tribal or something. Yeah, yeah, I was thinking that too or nobody can get some unity Or something like that doesn't Beast do a lot of I don't know if he's the people just calm beast But anyways doesn't he do a lot of like I'll offer you X amount of money to like do something or whatever. Yeah, well to exit the game or to like I don't know like give up your vote or give up immunity or something like that like how much money would you need Tyson to give up your vote? If mr. Beast is like at this tribal council like 50k to give up your vote is that enough for that tribal council alone? Yeah, for one tribal. It's yeah, one tribe. What is it right there in that moment like he's that tribal council? And that's the offer in that tribal council for that night. Yes, so you don't have time to prepare or decide It's just like make it. I think that's the scenario. I think we want mr. Beast scenario He sits very confident that yeah, you have so many votes on your side that it's I will buy your votes Which means you don't get a vote for 50 grandi to will sell me their vote What if he doesn't have the auction? Oh doesn't have the auction Because then I think it's harder because then you don't know like maybe you've already gone to tribal and you're like I already know that This is like an eight to vote or something versus at the auction. You're like oh, I don't know Yeah, but if you get a bunch of people if you get a bunch of people, that's the measure is it's like Okay, you got I'll have to everybody write down this No, what if he does it all in secret too. Yeah, that's exactly all in secret. Okay, 50k. I will buy your vote You either Have a parchment with your name on it. That means that you get 50k Or you leave your parchment uh blank and that means that you're gonna vote and Then you're like, okay. Yeah, and it definitely should be a secret So but yeah, and it has to be a secret because now you don't know where the numbers will lie Yes, he this feels like still in the spirit of mr. Beast as I understand it But like you don't you know Yeah, you know, I'm watching every video obviously You know, but but all of the agency would be with the players, right? They all get a choice to make and can opt out Right. Yes, and I I like that so What you're saying Riley is you want mr. Beast on season 51 Yeah Shoot I talked to myself into it All right, well, thank you all for tuning in. Hopefully you enjoyed our time with Stephanie. We will be back next week same time same place See you
