Christian Walker reflects on how years of planning and control over his life were abruptly dismantled by a spiritual shift, leading him to start a podcast from his home. He shares that every plan that failed was actually a blessing, resulting in better outcomes than imagined. Rejecting the hustle culture and the illusion of control, he declares that true success lies in showing up daily and surrendering the future to God. The podcast is grounded in honesty, focusing on real conversations about love, relationships, and self-worth. He challenges listeners to stop chasing perfection, to reject manipulative labels like "avoidant attachment," and to trust their bodies and instincts. Central to the show is the call to inner work—especially for those who give too much to others, believing it will be returned. Walker insists on self-worth, asserting that one should not endure emotional harm or people-pleasing to gain love. The journey begins small, with no expectations of growth or popularity, and he encourages listeners to surrender to the present, embrace vulnerability, and grow through daily presence. The first episode features real questions from audience members about love, commitment, and self-sacrifice, with Christian offering direct, unfiltered responses. He concludes by inviting listeners to commit to daily surrender, emphasizing that the show is not about success, but about living authentically and fully in the here and now.
Welcome to the Christian Walker show, oh my gosh guys. I am so excited to be here with you today. I can't even believe we're here because for years I've been like, I'm not doing a podcast. I'm never going to do it. That's not what I'm going to do because it's just like everyone in their mom has a podcast.
I'm like, that's not how I saw my life going. It's not what I wanted and I am so glad. God just slaughtered my ego.
My ego that thought I was in control of everything that thought I had my life planned out and I knew what I wanted and how it was going to go.
And I am so glad that in an instant, just a few weeks ago, my eyes were just open to number one. We're really not in control of our lives. I've had all these plans for my life and oftentimes life didn't go as I planned it to go. It went even better.
And sometimes in the moment, I didn't know this was the better thing. But as I look back on my life and how a lot of the times my plans have been thwarted or I went in an opposite direction looking back now every single time.
From the time I was like 14, I was a big plan maker and I thought I could just manufacture my life and I can tell you 100% every plan that was thwarted was a blessing.
Thank God it didn't go my way. And a lot of the times it went my way in an even better way. It's like God took me an alternate route to give me the thing and the alternate route was 10 times better than what I had planned.
So for years, people have asked me to do a podcast on my social media channels or whatever. And it was just it wasn't even a thought. I was like, no, that's not what that's not in my plans. That's not what I want to do. I'm not doing it. No, no, no.
And then over the past year, like starting last year, I started saying just to my close friends, I was like, I'll do a podcast if someone hires me and I would give them like an insane dollar amount. Like I'd be like just irritantly. Well, if someone gives me this amount of money, I'll do a season.
Like I still didn't want to do it. I was just being a bitch. And it was a few weeks ago that I was having a creative conversation with my best friend. We were talking about our lives and the growth we've experienced over the past few years.
And the moment in time, we're in and we're talking a little bit about our careers and what we want out of life. And she's working on something really cool right now. And it was like in an instant, I got this vision of me with a mic in my house talking.
And one thing you need to know about me is I'm a huge homebody. I love to be home. And when I, when I saw that it's like my eyes were opened. Oh, my God, I can do my own little show from the house.
Not only can I do my own little show from the house. See, this is the thing about like sometimes God takes you an alternate direction. So for the past few years, since I've been posting videos, it's not been something I take seriously.
Like it's just been something I do for fun on the side while I pursue my real dreams. And while I pursue my real work, I was like, I'm just doing this like for fun. And I like doing TikTok and Instagram and whatever.
And when I got this like vision in my head of me talking in the mic at home, it's not only that I can do a show from home.
It's that for the past few years, I've been putting this work in that I haven't really taken taken seriously. And it's primed me to do this thing.
So not only were my eyes opened, but my life has been walking me towards doing this thing. And I just was so excited. Like, oh, my God, this is what I'm supposed to do.
But here's the other thing about making plans and thinking you're in control of your life. I've also been someone who really desire success and is like all about the grind and the hustle culture and the I'm going to go get it.
And another thing that has shifted in my life this year is that we're not in control of anything. We can't guarantee success. And if success means you are constantly chasing something and you're never content, I don't want it.
I've been chasing this thing and not in the present moment. And the audacity of me to think I'm in control of my future, I'm in control of my future success.
This building, my apartment building could fall right now. And I don't even finish the podcast. There could be an earthquake in California that ends my life. And I don't even finish. We don't know what the future holds.
It can't be all about chasing a certain thing. All we have is the right here right now.
But when I decided I was going to do this podcast, I left the success of it. And I left all the, well, I want it to be this big. I want it to be this. I left that behind.
I am not walking into this new journey with you, hoping this becomes the biggest podcast. I don't care anymore. I'm not in control.
All we have to do in our lives is show up every day and be open. God, what do you have for me? What am I supposed to do? If is what I'm doing aligned right now, I can't control the future again, I can walk outside today and get hit by a car.
Was I aligned before that moment? I'm done thinking I'm in control. I'm done trying to chase success. I'm done trying to be big and do this and accomplish these things. I'm going to show up and do my very best. And I'm going to leave the rest to God.
We think we're in control of everything. And at the end of the day, there's so many other things that are outside of our control that you might as well, just do your very best at the thing you're doing in the right here right now and leave everything else to God.
I'm not going to be a control freak. And so the journey of sort of starting this show has been, and it's only been a few weeks that I decided I was going to do this, but it's been so eye opening. It's been so, I mean, I've been telling like my friend, y'all are going to think I'm a woo, woo crazy person.
I'm like, I feel like I've entered like a new earth, like I just see the world differently because it's like for the first time, I don't care what happens in the future. I just want to be right here right now. And so guys, when it comes to this show, I don't know where it's going to lead us.
I don't know where we're going. Right now, I talk a lot about leaving those loser men and not dealing with dusties and getting yourself worth up and not being desperate. Of course, we're going to talk about that on the show. That's how I'm starting. I don't know where this is going to lead me.
I don't know how long this show was going to go. I don't know if it's just a huge flop. I don't know. All I'm going to do is show up every single week and do my best. All I'm going to do is show up every single week and try to build y'all up and try to give you my, try to give you my opinion and hope that it helps you hope that it provides you a little bit of comfort.
That's all I can do. And I hope that you'll take my experience and starting this show and my outlook and starting it and apply it to your own life.
All you can control is how you show up in the right here right now. Be open. I'm just a believer that a lot of times we make these plans and it gets to actually be even better than what you plan for.
So stop trying to begin control of everything. Surrender. Just surrender at all. We're about to get into some questions and we're going to talk men. If you came here to hear my opinions on men and you're like, I really want to find a good guy, whatever I ask you that you just surrender that desire.
And you say, you know what? If I'm supposed to have a man, he's going to find me. And if I'm not supposed to have one, I'm going to be content in the here and now anyways. We don't know what's going to happen.
So let's stop trying to be control freaks. Let's stop freaking out. Let's stop thinking we can manufacture our lives and let's just do our very best in the here and now.
So I'm so excited to get started. I'm excited to be here with you all. I'm excited that I'm here with a good attitude and I'm not just starting this like, oh, well, I guess I'll finally do the damn podcast like I'm actually excited to be here with you because if I had an attitude, my energy would be so off.
So I thought that for this opening episode, we would just do a segment called questions with Christian, I asked you'll just submit some questions, particularly about nails or about yourself worth or about whatever.
And I thought that we could just get into a discussion about some of your questions. And by the looks of your questions, I'm like, I was reading them. I didn't want to like look at them too hard because I wanted my reaction to be really fresh in the moment.
But I was like, there were some questions that I was like, I could rant on this question for 30 minutes.
So we're just gonna do a segment called questions
with Christian today and we'll see how it goes.
So I asked y'all to submit questions on Instagram.
I chose a few.
We're gonna start out with this first one
from Bethany, hey girl, hey.
Bethany asked me, Christian,
how do you keep that boss bitch energy
when you're falling head over heels for an amazing guy?
Okay, no man.
Mm-hmm, no man.
There is no keeping that boss bitch energy.
That's like you're putting on a costume.
Also, I don't like this idea
that y'all think I'm the anti-love guy.
I am very pro love.
I am very pro you falling head over heels
for an amazing dude.
There is no keeping boss bitch energy.
There's, I have the identity and embodiment of a boss bitch.
So when your identity and your embodiment
is high standards, high values,
you don't play about being respected.
You're not gonna accept disrespect.
You are embodied in boss bitchness
and you can also fall head over heels for an amazing guy.
And you can also be warm and love him and smile.
There is no, I'm falling head over heels
for this amazing dude, but I also need to be some bad bitch.
That's a fake bad bitch.
Anyone who's like, oh, you know,
it's walking around bitchy all the time
because they're like, well, I don't wanna be warm
'cause I don't want people thinking they can disrespect me.
That's a wound.
That's not true boss bitch energy.
Boss bitch energy is you're not gonna accept disrespect.
No, you don't need to tell the man,
hey, I'm not accepting disrespect for you.
That's a wound.
Real boss bitch energy is you knowing you're not gonna accept it.
And if a man brings that to you, you walk away.
So I'm not asking you to put on the costume
of boss bitch energy.
I'm asking you to have the identity of a boss bitch,
meaning you don't play about your standards and values.
And when an amazing dude comes into your life
because you hold those standards and values,
you get to be warm, you get to smile,
you get to laugh and you get to have a beautiful love story.
So Bethany, I don't need you to keep that boss bitch energy.
I need you to have the identity and embodiment of a boss bitch
and then enjoy a beautiful love story
and not accept disrespect, period.
Gosh, there was something else I wanted to say,
but I forgot it, whatever.
If I think about it, we'll come back.
So that was Bethany's question.
We're gonna move on to Miss Brianna.
So Brianna gave me a little bit of a short story
because I thought we could dissect short stories
if y'all gave them to me.
You can send a direct question or we can do story form.
So here's Brianna's story.
She says, "Navy British man I met seven years ago
been friends for most of it, though we flirt
and we're finally living in the same state again
after he's been overseas for most of it."
Talks to me every day, says he loves me, but uses logistics
about him not staying here for too long.
I'm already pissed before getting a new assignment
in a different country as to why we can't be in a relationship.
Can't seem to cut him off.
He keeps coming back.
I'm currently recovering from surgery
and he door dashed streets.
Okay, Brianna.
Now, I'm not coming for you.
You have to know I love you,
but I have to check you with one thing real quick.
And I need to check all of y'all
because we hear this too often on social media
and it's just not true
or the way that people say it is disingenuous.
When someone says he keeps coming back, I can't cut him off.
There is no he keeps coming back
if I'm not home anymore.
The man can't come back if I'm not available for him.
How can the man keep coming back
if I'm not answering his texts or calls?
Now, if you want to entertain him when he comes back,
you do you, but we're gonna have to get clear
because I'm a thank god I'm starting this show
and we can really go more in depth on topics
because in my one minute videos,
they can sort of be misconstrued or misunderstood.
And I'm glad we get to, I don't know, go more in depth.
There's no such thing as I can't stop him,
he just keeps coming back.
No, you can stop him if you don't want him to come back
by not responding to him and not being available for it.
And Brianna, I have no patience for a man
who says he loves you, talks to you every day,
but quote unquote, uses logistics
for why you can't be in a relationship.
A man will swim the ocean for a woman he wants.
Let's stop babying these grown men.
They're either gonna figure it the fuck out
or you deserve a man who will.
I saw this love story on YouTube a few months ago
and it's like it's just never left me.
So basically, these two people went to high school together
but they didn't know each other in high school.
He friends her on Facebook a few years later
and they start chatting.
He was deployed in Afghanistan.
And like he called her every day
and FaceTime her every day
and just like all this crazy stuff
and he made the relationship work
while he was in Afghanistan
until he was back home in the States
and they winded up getting married.
It's sort of this big long story
but moral of the story is there's no distance,
especially in 2026,
that should hold a man back from you if he really wants you.
So Breonna, I have no patience for him doing you like that.
I don't care what a man says to you.
I don't even care if he's doing shit for you
if he doesn't want to step into a commitment with you.
I don't care.
Men will say and do things for you for your vagina.
Oh, and yes, on this show and on this podcast,
we're gonna talk real, this is an explicit show
because I have to behave on social media.
I have to follow and make sure you know,
I don't have to do that here.
And I have to use strong language so you get it.
Men will say a bunch of crap
and even do some stuff just to get what they want out of you.
Now, maybe this guy does truly love you.
Like maybe I don't doubt that maybe he does have strong feelings
for you, but if he's not gonna give you what you want
and it seems that you want a relationship, we don't care.
Stop taking on these men's problems as your own.
We get so invested in men that aren't ours.
We get so entangled with their stories.
We're like, 'cause we have emotions towards them
and we care about them and we have a soft heart.
So we go, he says these things, we see his heart.
We see that he says he really likes us
and we're just like, what do you mean?
You say you can't be in a relationship
or you're not ready, but you love me
and you're doing all these things
and we have passionate sacks and it doesn't matter.
If he's not gonna meet you on the bridge, who cares?
You deserve a man who's gonna put the work in
and do whatever it takes to close the gap,
to commit to you, to spend his life with you.
I'm done babying men, I'm done with the excuses.
I'm done with the excuses they get you
and I'm done with how they abuse.
Y'all's empathy and y'all's heart.
I've had it.
So Brianna, I don't know what to tell you,
but what I will tell you and again, I love you.
I'm not coming for you, but don't tell me
he keeps coming back.
You're at the house when he comes back.
You're available on the phone when he comes back.
You said he door dashed you treats.
I don't give a fuck.
Why the fuck would we care?
Okay, eat the cookies.
He won't be in a relationship with you.
He's not giving you what you want.
We don't care what he does.
He's not doing it.
He's told you I don't want what you want.
I want to enjoy the benefits of relationship.
I want to say I love you.
I want to have sex with you.
Oh, I know, I know he wants to have sex with you.
And I'm sure y'all have had sex.
He wants to do all the things,
but he doesn't want to step into the real container.
He doesn't want to give you the safety of a relationship.
It's a no.
Be unavailable for it.
You should not be at the house when he quote unquote comes back.
He just keeps coming back into my life.
Well, he can't get a hold of me.
He can't get me to answer a text or call.
So that's what I have to say about that.
I hope that wasn't too harsh.
And y'all, I hope you see my heart.
Like I'm going to ream into y'all.
I'm going to go off on y'all in this podcast,
not because I'm angry at you,
because I need you to get it,
because I really believe in love
and I believe you get to have it.
I just do.
So I'm not, when you send me bullshit,
ask questions in Breonna,
that wasn't a bullshit ask question like that.
That was actually a good question.
and I see where you're coming from.
But when you send me these questions,
I'm gonna answer you honestly, I have to.
I can't be cute about it.
Everyone on the internet right now is very cute with you.
A lot of the people giving quote unquote advice
or cutesy about it, I'm not gonna be cutesy.
I have to give it to you real
because I want you to win.
So, okay, thank you, Brianna, cut that loser dude off.
I need you to, I need you with a king, period.
Okay, next question is from Yara.
Hey girl, hey, Yara says another question.
If you want a man with certain qualities,
you got to be those qualities too.
Does that mean if I want a rich provider man,
I got to become rich first.
Okay, so we're gonna dissect that rich term in a second.
But no, I don't believe that if you want certain qualities,
you have to necessarily be those qualities,
but you do have to be the reciprocal of those qualities.
For example, if you want a provider man,
you have to be able to receive.
I just got goose bumps because I've been talking
about this with friends for a few weeks.
Everyone wants a provider man and everyone wants a man
who just stuff for them and brings them gifts
and brings them flowers.
Are you able to receive?
What does it mean to receive?
Receive is not, well yeah, you should have brought me
those flowers.
Well yeah, you do have money, you should be providing.
Receiving means when he gives to you,
you are overflowed with joy.
You're like, oh my gosh, babe,
these are like so beautiful, thank you so much.
You don't have to do like as drama as I'm doing it.
I want it to be natural, I want it to be real.
Receiving means you accept what a man gives you.
You are joyful about it because that's what he gets
out of giving when a man gives to you.
He wants to see you smile, he wants to see you satisfied,
he wants to see you in pleasure, he gets off on that.
So a lot of people can't receive in that way,
but being able to receive also means
that when a man is doing things for you,
you value what he does, you see what he does,
and you don't make problems in other areas that don't exist.
People who have a receiving problem,
they'll have a man who is doing all the things for them,
really showing up for them,
but because they have an inner wound, they haven't healed,
he'll do this one thing,
and then they'll find an issue somewhere else.
They'll almost be looking for issues,
they'll be creating problems.
Is that you?
We'll talk about this more in future episodes
'cause I have more thoughts on this,
I need to get them together.
They're like, I've been talking about this for weeks,
we'll talk more about it,
but you have to be honest with yourself,
is that me?
Is this man doing a ton of things for me
and I'm just not able to accept it
because I've never been treated this well?
So I look for other issues.
This is a big thing, a lot of us struggle with,
I know that I used to struggle with it.
You have to be okay.
You have to believe you're worthy of him doing things for you,
and believing you're worthy doesn't mean going, again,
it doesn't mean going, yeah, as he should.
He should have given me those flowers.
He should, it just means that you're like,
wow, I really get to have this awesome dude.
I really get to have this amazing man,
and I get to relax, and I get to just be in pleasure,
and I get to enjoy.
So Yara, again, the answer to your question,
do you have to be those qualities?
You don't necessarily have to be the qualities you want,
you have to be the reciprocal of those qualities.
So if you want a giving man,
you have to be able to receive and receive with joy.
If you want a funny man,
well, you better be laughing at his jokes.
I'm sure a quote unquote funny man
doesn't want to be with some person who thinks they're dumb
or stupid, or just looks at them when they tell jokes,
you better be in touch with your laughter energy.
So there's that, and then the other thing is,
you said in your question, Yara,
and again, I'm not coming for you.
I love you, I want you to win,
but you said, if I want a rich provider,
I got to become rich first.
Let's, I just have an issue with the R word.
Like I say it sometimes in my videos,
I've tried to stop, listen,
we need to be open to whatever God has for us.
And some of y'all are gonna get a rich guy.
Some of y'all are gonna get a non-rich guy
who loves you, protects you and provides for you better
than anyone in the world ever has or will.
Like what does rich mean to you?
Does it mean your needs are met?
Does it mean you want a certain dollar amount?
Because I'm sorry, I grew up with money.
I know a lot of people with money,
this woman comes to mind who's like an old friend of mine.
She was married to an exorbitantly wealthy man.
Like if I told you the number, like you would faint,
they had an horrible marriage.
He was abusive, he was financially abusive.
It was hell.
I was sort of with her while she was struggling through this.
And she would just constantly say,
like I would never choose this.
She met him when they had no money.
And like she really built it with him.
But I know this woman's heart,
like I really know her intimately.
And it's sort of annoying when people with money are like,
oh, like it doesn't matter, money doesn't,
like it's very like shut the fuck up,
your needs are met, like we don't want to hear from you.
I'm not saying money didn't add to this woman's life,
but I am saying that with all she experienced,
she, and I know her heart,
she would have so preferred being with an average normal guy
who gave her a delicious, beautiful love story
and relationship, then this exorbitantly rich asshole.
So I am clearly more than happy with y'all wanting providers
and wanting dudes who want to protect and provide for you.
But the R word just rubs me the wrong way
because I don't believe,
I think you get to have the full thing.
I think you get to have protection, provision,
hot sex, passion, romance, fun, laughter, joy.
And I don't want you to just be in a relationship
where you get the money at the expense of everything else.
That's not what I would want for you.
Now, if that's what you want, go off, go right ahead,
go do it.
I mean, I'm not the dictator of your life.
You can do whatever you want.
I just believe you get to have it all.
And I also believe, again, this is like,
this is like the big joy of my life.
It gets to be better than you imagined
and what you plan for.
So that's my take on that.
Yara, thank you for your question.
We're gonna do a few more.
I hope you're loving this.
Okay, next question is from Katie.
Katie says, what is your take on dating multiple people
at a time in order to find out who your person is?
Woo, yes, ma'am.
Yes, ma'am, as you should.
I don't know why you went in.
Guys, and let me go off on about,
let me go off about this.
I've been going off about this for years.
I'm really sick and tired of y'all saying,
I can only get to know one person at a time when I'm dating.
I can only get to know one person.
Oh, okay, but y'all are the same ones who,
while you're getting to know that one person,
you're tracking his misbehavior,
you're tracking his Snapchat score,
you're like, he just followed another bitch on Instagram,
you're freaking out.
Have you ever done this with friends?
I can only get to know one friend at a time.
I don't have the capacity to get to know more than one.
Have you ever been like,
I can only get to know one coworker at my job at a time.
I can only talk to one coworker when I'm working.
That's a bunch of bullshit.
It's not that you can only get to know one person at a time.
It's at your desperate and anytime a guy
shows a little bit of interest in you,
you become engulfed with him.
You're like obsessed with him
and your blinders come onto every other guy.
I have an issue with that
'cause you don't know if this guy is your man.
Why are you blocking yourself to other dudes
who might be your husband when we haven't vetted this guy?
So am I pro getting to know multiple people at once?
Yes, I am.
'Cause you don't know of this guy
who asks you out on target as your husband or not.
And why should he be granted exclusive access to you
like you're his wife
when we don't even know this strange random crazy man yet?
No.
And did I say you need to be sleeping with everyone?
No, I did not.
I said you can get to know more than one person at a time
because you're not gonna pull your bullshit on me
where you're like,
I just like I don't have the emotional capacity to do it.
Well, that's because you're putting too much emotions
into one guy that you don't even know yet.
That's why you don't have the quote-unquote
emotional capacity because you're living from a wound
and you've become attached to this man
who you don't even know yet.
This strange man in the candy truck.
Yeah, our mom's used to warn us about that.
Hey, just 'cause he has some candy that looks good,
don't get in the van, don't get in the van.
That's what I'm telling you about these men.
Just 'cause he asked you out
and you had a good first date, hold your horses.
We don't know him yet.
just.
slow it on down. And I'm not the love police. I'm not the person telling you you need to walk around
with a ton of limiting beliefs and you need to be freaked out at everything and you need to be like
overly cautious. No, you get to have fun. I'm just saying don't dive in out of desperation. You're
a queen. Make him earn you. Make him prove himself to you. Chill out. So I'm all about it, Katie.
Okay, next question is from Savannah. Hey, Sav, I love your name. Hi, Savi, Sav.
Okay. She says, how can I tell whether my man has potential to get better if he has an avoided
attachment? Okay, guys, I have a problem with all these words. What do I don't give a fuck about
the words? We've put labels to things and I'm done with the labels because a label can sometimes
give a dude an excuse to be an asshole. It's like, oh, well, he has an avoidant attachment style.
So you know, we've got to tread lightly. Is he showing up for you in the way that you need him
to show up for you or not? Because I don't give a fuck what he's dealing with. I don't give a
damn if he has an avoidant attachment style. If he's not doing his job as a man in the relationship.
So is he doing his job, Savannah? Don't give me terms. Don't give me diagnosis. His diagnosis,
like I'm just to meet him and his diagnosis. I'm not his therapist. I'm not his doctor.
I'm a human being. You're a human being who's looking for a beautiful, delicious love story.
Is he showing up for you and giving you that like you're giving it to him?
We make all we put these terms on things and we make these excuses for men because we love them
because we have soft hearts. We deserve shit too. You deserve a little bit of love too.
So I know you want to go out and do all these things for men because you want to give and I'm
so pro you giving to the right man. But I've had it with all these labels to describe a dude who
won't show up for you. He's an anxious attachment and avoidant attachment. I don't give a damn what
he is. Is he a good man or not? Is he showing up for me or not? And listen, no one's perfect. We
have to meet people where they are and like understand no one's perfect. But I sometimes fear telling
y'all no one is perfect because I don't fully trust all of y'all yet. I feel like sometimes I
could say no one's perfect and then you'll make excuses for unacceptable behavior. No one's perfect
doesn't mean he gets to cheat on you, hit you, be horrible to you and you're like no one's perfect.
No one's perfect means he's a human being. Like he's not a robot. He's not chatGPT who's just
going to tell you what you want to hear all the time. He's a human. You know in your body whether
that man is for you or not. You know if you just turn the music off, you shut everything off,
you quiet your mind and you really breathe. Your body will tell you if he's safe or not.
So don't give me anxious attachment and y'all you can send me the questions again with all your
terms. I'm gonna I'm gonna reject your terms every time. I don't give a damn what his attachment
style is. If his attachment style means he can't show up as the man he's supposed to be for me.
Done. So that's how I feel about that Savannah. Okay, last question guys. This has been so fun.
I hope you've enjoyed it. I'm so excited for the future of the show. I'm so excited to answer more
questions. I'm so excited. It's not going to be all questions. It's going to be story times.
Like I think next episode I'm going to tell a story about like my desperation days in this crazy
thing I did when I was a teenager and how I learned from it. We're going to do lots of different
things, but I'm just this is a fun journey. Okay, so last question is from Kinga. Kinga says she
tells me a few things about my content. Love you so much, Kinga. And then she says I have a very
specific question for you. She says I'm the kind of person who in close relationships likes to give
a lot of myself and help the other person. Oh gosh, Kinga, you're killing me. You're already
killing me. She goes, the thing is I can't stop doing this even though there have been situations
where the other person didn't respect me and took advantage of it. When I try not to do it,
my conscience really naws at me. And in the end, I always end up doing something for the other
person again. Kinga, the way you ask the question like I can just tell you actually have a soft
beautiful heart. And so I just want to take a second to recognize that I know your heart is in
the right place before I go off and I know you're a sweet girl and I know you're a kind girl.
And I'm all about the way you move through the world. But when you're doing things for people
who don't want you doing things for them or aren't respecting you, you don't get a gold star
for being a good girl. You say your conscience really naws at you when you do things for people
and they take advantage of it and then you stop doing it. You feel guilty. Well, then there's
something wrong with your conscience. If someone stabbed me outside on the street when I was trying
to help them get food, they stabbed me three times. And then after I get healed up because I
survived, I guess, I go out and I do it again. And they stabbed me three more times.
And then I go out and I do it again. There's something wrong with me because this person
is hurting me. I want to help them. They're not accepting my help. But I still think I need to
help them. That doesn't make sense. And I know you don't feel this consciously king of, but there's
something about like I've read before that sometimes a people pleaser in their subconscious is
doing it to get the other person to do it back for them. Well, that's manipulative. Now, I know
you're not doing that consciously. I know that's not your heart. But a lot of people pleasers
think they're doing all these things for other people because they have a good heart and they do.
But it comes from a wound of people not doing things for them and they think if they do enough for
someone, that other person will return the favor. That's not how life works because you're not
dealing with people who have your heart. So the answer to your question is you need to do some
inner work and heal your wound because I think you're worthy of someone who returns your love back to
you. You don't need to be out on the streets continuously getting stabbed and continuously helping
the people that stab you. No, no, I reject that. So it's the inner work that you have to do.
You have to be like you know what? I'm okay. If for the rest of my life, I'm the only one who
does things for me. I'm okay with that. And I'm going to give to other people out of overflow.
I'm going to make sure I'm filled up and I'm not going to lose. I'm not going to cut my heart off.
I'm going to continue to give to people, but I'm going to give out of overflow with no expectation
that they do it back for me. And if I see that someone isn't accepting what I want to do for them,
that's totally fine. I'll go give that energy to my best friend. I'll go give that energy to my mom.
I'm not going to stay in places where I'm not welcome. No. And I don't need anything out of them.
I'm going to give to them out of overflow because I already give to me. I don't need anything.
So, Kinga, again, I love your heart. We've got to do some inner work. And on future episodes,
we'll discuss that. Guys, oh my gosh, I guess that concludes episode one. I really hope you loved it.
I really hope it built you up. And again, I have no idea where this show was going. I just want
to say real quick. When I was starting and I was getting ready to start some people in my life,
we're like, so what about your set? What are you going to do? Where are you going to do it? I'm like,
if I'm supposed to do this, if I'm supposed to have this platform, then I can do it from my living room.
And God will do the marketing on this show. I don't need a big set.
As if anyone goes to listen to a podcast because the set really looks good. And I'm just so
against these people who start podcasts, they do all the set design and then they have nothing to say.
They have no curiosity. They don't invite people on and ask good questions. They have nothing to say.
It's just a bunch of bullshit. I'm like, if this is what I'm supposed to do, I'm doing it on my
living room floor. I don't care. So listen, we're starting small. I don't know where this is going to
go. I'm not attached to the outcome. Maybe it flops. Maybe I moved back into my parents' home and
I work at the grocery store across the street. I don't know. I'm done caring about future stuff.
I'm done caring about future success. I'm surrendered. I'm in the here and now. And I asked that this
week, your homework to get ready for next week's episode is to step into surrender. You're going to
show up every day. You're going to be your very best. You're going to lean into growth and inner
work and you're going to surrender the rest to God. Guys, I love you so much. Episodes are going to

FAQs
Christian believes we are not in control of our lives and that many of our plans are thwarted for a reason—often leading to better outcomes. He emphasizes surrendering to the present moment and trusting that life will unfold in ways better than we planned.
He argues that success is not something we can chase or manufacture. Life is unpredictable, and focusing on control leads to anxiety. Instead, he encourages showing up daily and surrendering the rest to God, trusting that the present moment is all that matters.
It's not about being mean or putting on a costume, but about having high standards and values. A true boss bitch energy means not accepting disrespect and standing firm in one's worth, while still being able to love and connect with others.
He says a man cannot 'keep coming back' if the partner is unavailable. True commitment requires action, not excuses. He encourages women to be unavailable if they’re not ready and to stop enabling men who avoid real commitment.
No, he says you don’t need to have the exact qualities. Instead, you need to be the reciprocal—like being able to receive love and joy when given, not just expect it. For example, wanting a provider means being able to receive with gratitude.
He questions the idea that money is essential in love. He believes people should have full fulfillment—protection, passion, joy—and not just financial security. He warns that wealth shouldn't come at the expense of emotional well-being.
