The transcription details a comprehensive race analysis for a major flat racing day at Longsham, including the pre-Marcel Boussac, the Arc, and the pre-Deloprah. Green and Press is highlighted as the top two-year-old favorite in the Phillies race, backed by consistent form and a strong performance in the season, though it faces a top-tier rival in Song Goddess. Folsom Blues is seen as the strongest overall contender due to his impressive group one wins and tactical running. The Friedelabbe sprint is noted for its unpredictability, with long shots like Nana’s Shadow and Red Orange offering value, especially with an extra place available. Diamond Necklace is viewed as a standout despite a poor draw and jockey concerns, while Pink Pantera emerges as a promising selection in the pre-Deloprah, having shown improvement over distance. Secret Adversary and Kin Rasse are considered due to similar profiles and form. The analysis emphasizes draw, ground conditions, and value, with a strong focus on underdog potential and tactical racing. The host also shares personal experiences of attending major events like Enable’s wins and recommends the weekend’s card for fans, while highlighting a money-back token offer at Perry Long Shump shops. Overall, the commentary blends form, odds, and risk to guide fans toward strategic, informed betting choices.
But yeah, I think we're in 10 or 12 to 1 each way with the extra pace in the
ARCA. I have a sneaky special heel winder's PK.
Bond your as from the horsesmith takes a trip to Paris Longsham for
the pinnacle of flat racing in Europe, some would say. It is the
pre-larked stream of card on Sunday afternoon live on Sky Sports
racing in party pair shops as well. And I've got one of our
traders to go through the card at Trader Joe. Trader Joe, do you
know what's the story in America? Trader Joe's, yeah.
That's right, Chad. That's right. Yeah, I've seen it for
you. Yeah, been in one now. I don't think so now.
They're very good. How do you recommend Trader Joe's? How are
you?
Very good, yeah. Yeah, I'm good. I enjoyed the AI Slop thumbnail
that producer Max and their PK were looking sharp in us. You
showed the guest and me in my beret. I mean, I'm quite looking
the same here. Now we push. No, no, we don't look the same as
our little. I mean, sure, it's AI. I thought that I thought
he drew that himself. Yeah, I was referring to an image with
some very French looking, I suppose. I'm holding a big
edge. You've got the, you've got the mind outfitted the
beret. You've got the wine. Yeah. No, not the wine, the mind
the mind. Oh, yeah, you're in the glow of something slightly top,
yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And to be fair to produce a mark and
actually produce a field who produced it and they did send it
on to us in advance to just check. Okay, with it. Let's just
go. Yeah, I agree. Anyway, it's offended by that. Get the
seat, get the seat. Right, as eventually we're looking at the
art card, Joe being a group one trader is going to concentrate on
all the group one racing on a Sunday, excluding the Arabian
bread race. A bit disappointed, macho, bit disappointed, but
your look favorite wins that move on. It's a great card. As you
guys know, it starts early, though, don't miss the boat. Don't
go ahead, drink it on Saturday nights, 12 30, be the first
live race. It's the pre Marcel Boussac. It is for the two
year old Phillies. One last year, of course, by Diamond
Necklace, who we're talking about later on in the pre-large to
Triumph. Now, we're recording 12.08 on Friday afternoon. So we
know as in because Joe was part of the trading team, what the
first show prices will be, but these could well change because
jockey bookings are just being confirmed as we speak. But
you're going to open up with green Empress as the two to one
favorite for this race. And she will be ridden by Christoph
Sumion for Joseph O'Brien. You've got three to one then for
Alella on beaten for the Christoph Burland team, Maxim Keon on
board. And then you've got six to one for data, who's also
representing the very time of brothers, another French one for
Christopher head and Pierre Charles Boudot, who's really turned
things around. So they're the top three in the betting eight to
one bar. What does Joe think?
And keeping it simple here, really, and that's what the
favorite PK I taught green and press impress has been very
impressive throughout the season. And as probably just been a
little bit unlucky to bump into what I think is a valley dance
highest rate of juvenile ever, I think in song goddess. And she's
rated 119 or something. She, and I think I think I think that's
what I see on Twitter. I know that's all about Twitter. It must
be true. It must must be true. But look, there's no shame in
being a second three times song goddess. I see Philip was saying
that she might be rated 120, actually, instead of 119. So look,
she's obviously been incredible all season and green and
press. I suppose the gap between the last time was six and a
half lengths, she maybe is a little bit behind her, but probably
best of the rest in the two year old Phillies, in my opinion.
But look, I just thought that race the last day, the current
kind of turned a little bit tactical. It was a slow run race
over seven song goddess and green and press her out the back
detail. And I think song goddess just kind of did her for
total bit. She obviously dropped back to six for our lungs and
new market last weekend and one over six. So she's not shy of
pace. But I definitely think green and press stepping up to a
mile here. I think that's going to suit her. And it just can't
see any Philly with the same level of farm and this race to be
honest, PK, there's a few unexposed types that you'd like to
keep an eye on. And obviously, Phillies can improve pretty
rapidly as two year olds. But I think green and press sets
a standard for a stable that's had a crack in here. And I think
it'll get off to a good start here. If some goddess didn't
exist, green and press would be arriving here for editor for
unbeaten group one winner. She'd be she'd be certainly a lot
shorter than three to one. That's for sure. That's the price
she's going to open at check the latest prices on the app
or in the pop into a shop where you can get best odds guarantee
by the way, on all long shot races this weekend, we pop into a
party pair of shops are great offer there. Whilst you can also
avail a money back token, if you decide to stick with the
online team. So that's a couple of options for you, money back
token available at parry long shop on to the boys. Well, I say
that the two year old race, the Jean Lou Glaguerre for Colts
France, you graphired has choked in a filly, interestingly,
into that contest, amusingly, you could say he's put in a
filly, and if she is four to one, she's certainly well found
in the market for Colin keen in the Judd Monk colors. But the
one to beat will be Joseph O'Brien's, Folsom Blues, Uber
impressive, winning at the current in the national six, like six
lengths. So we've had a couple of six length group one winners
in Ireland, that weekend in some goddess and him. Now, we thought
he might go to the middle park, but I think this trip's got to
be much more his bag, isn't it? Yeah, absolutely, I think
look, I'm being pretty boring here for the first two races, but
I just think he's the one to beat, isn't he? Like, I do think
you might get closer to two to one on the day, if he can, he's
drawn 10, it's probably not ideal over seven here, long shot,
but I think we're 74 at the moment, you probably might get closer
to two to one on the day, but look, I just think he's the one to
beat. And again, form ties in with with a song goddess, who beat
him over six at the cura, that's really strong form, but also
like the form to kind of ties him with a few here, including
Florida Bay, I think he was also declared, he beats Folsom
Blues over seven at Leipzig Town. And again, probably Florida
Bay got to run on the race, he was kind of at the front
turning in at Leipzig Town, while Folsom Blues was out the back
and made up Savage Ground, taught that kind of, you know,
maybe kind of Florida Bay, a small bit, just the way the race
has run. Obviously, Folsom Blues came out next time with
second song goddess, and then like you said, bolt it up in the
national stakes, like, just, I just thought that was unbelievable
performance to be honest, the way he came up alongside the winners
at the one far along pole, he was basically doing a half speed
and and kicked again and won by a distance and obviously beating
monogram, who was very impressive, I'm debut at the cura, like,
he's no smoke like definitely not, like, so the farm probably work
out in time, but look, I just think he's the one to beat.
It's a bit like the first race PK, it's just he's in my mind
anyway, far and far and above clear the rest of these, and I
think it probably would just point if he doesn't win.
All right, Folsom Blues, which also Brian, obviously,
Bally Doyle, well represented, but also Kumar, I've got
Avec Toa, the unbeaten four time winning Colt, Pierre Schaubudo
writes him, tell me, maybe Ryan Moore, right, it might have
ridden him obviously with the Kumar connection, but he sticks
with Bally Doyle and man's best friend. That's the Jean
Luke Lagerdair on to the 147, which will be the Friedelabbe,
this is the big sprint, anyone who's been to Perry Long
Shump, you'll know exactly what it's like as a spectacle,
absolutely rubbish, because they won over, like, they, they're
nearly at the, the, the Shams Elisit are that far away, it's a
bizarre, bizarre thing. But anyway, it's wide open as you'd
expect. I think Rumstar was favored in the anti-post market,
but I'm looking at the prices you've given me here, and you've
gone five's to feel the looks, things you've gone one star, five
to one, five to one time for Sandals, five to one Nana's shadow.
What a story that'll be. Mr. Chances, seven to one. And shall
we, shall we have a shout out for the backers of Nana's shadow
back in? Oh, when was it, when was it April or May when this
horse was beaten up for Mark of 70 odd in a race as a subtle
handicap, 72, didn't even place. And it's possibly going to be
favor for the Friedelabbe. Yeah, it's mad. And I suppose that's
what's exciting about having these sprinters, isn't it?
PK, you see a lot of people, you know, maybe thrown a little
bit of shade off this cheap speed, but it gives smaller
connections of chance. And that's what they have here, really,
especially this race, this is a race that throws up mad when
it's something that I'm not really confident on with the
selection. And then like you said, it's now quarter past 12 on
Friday. So the draw is just coming out after decks. And I see
my selections drawn 15, which is a massive negative in my book,
you really want to be drawn low here, ideally, one to five, both
again, I wasn't really that that bullish on on red orange
myself. He was just a selection, really just kind of in each
way angle, you're going to get an extra place here. And he's a
decent price somewhere around 14 16 to 1, but look, it's a very
trappy race, but you know, was between him and cover up, I talk
cover up was maybe a little bit interesting, but the stable
farmer, the Chris Fritz is pretty off putting. So I just kind of
went to red orange, but look, he's only a four year old, the
potential to be still improving against some older horses here.
But look, he's fairly untried, the stakes companies only ran six
times. This is obviously group one. So it's a different kettle
of fish, but it's a fast five for lungs. He has one at York and
winds already this season, both those tracks would be sharpened
off. So he'll have plenty of toe for this. And but look, like I
said, it wouldn't be a confident show. Anyway, but now that he's
drawn 15, it's even less confident, but just I suppose just
maybe looking at that each way, angle with the extra place at a
decent price around 16 to 1 or so, probably have a very, very
small talk and better in each way. Yeah, the draw as we know,
very, very important, as you just said, I did hear or read
somewhere, it's probably heard rather than read because I don't
do much reading. And that if the ground is on the quicker side,
which we're expecting, and I say quicker side, I mean, by
quicker for this time of year, draw is not as important in the
pre-labe. So that might give hope to anyone who fancies one on
an outside draw, but mission central Scott, I love you draw
as a pontos towards the inside, they may shorten in the
betting. So check out the latest price, that's the 147, the
pre-labe and Joe has let it out, that there will be an extra
place in that race, which is great. The big one, the pre-lack
to Triumph Ruby Walsh didn't want to give us a tip before the
draw. And
Well, he taught the Darius to be the one to beat.
He's got stall five.
Absolutely perfect.
Seven of four favors, we record Kalpana.
She's been one of the movers in the market.
I know from our man, Binners, seven's into five to one.
She's drawn six, lovely.
Multi's cross is also five to one.
Thundering on, Pierre-Charibouto, stall three.
Very nice.
And then you get to the ones like Diamond necklace.
Oh, what did you push right to 12 to one now
with that draw and stall?
And of course, do you think Ryan would have ridden her?
Had she got a good draw?
Yeah, I believe that she was the main arc hope.
I do think maybe the draw has been overplayed a little bit,
but it definitely does cover her chance.
I definitely think that her form, this season,
she's been obviously stand out fully for Balladoyle
has one in France multiple times already.
It's just a huge negative for her.
I just taught the last day.
She was obviously beaten by Aventure,
which is a little bit disappointing.
But Aden's were banged out of form then as well.
So there's a chance that wasn't her true running.
I definitely think she'll get the trip,
but Ryan Moore abandoning is definitely a negative.
But I suppose if you fancy her draw 16,
you can maybe lower in your bed a little bit,
having a small bed on it, just I suppose to be on
because yourself does not worsen being
not betting something and then it ends up winning
in that kind of a APK.
But look, I think she's a stand out chance.
She's obviously brilliant.
And even though Ryan Moore has picked Benavino Calini,
don't fancy him at all.
I think the trio of calls in the UK and Ireland
have been pretty poor all season.
He's obviously beaten already by Calipana
and beaten by Van Adeer as well.
So I struggle to see how he'll win it, to be honest.
I just basically think Ryan Moore has picked him
because of the draw.
So look, there's a few in here, obviously,
that are interesting.
You mentioned Malte's cross again and not a trio of calls.
That would be a little bit off-putting for me.
He's run well the season in the right company,
but he's won every race by being second in the derby.
But I think his farm is quite questionable.
Like beating Pierre Bonnard, Ancient Egypt,
it's not kind of acquitting farm for me.
I thought he was very skinny at around fives.
And finally, just like to touch on the favor,
I suppose, obviously running very well this year at Dara's.
And it's been, for me, just been in maybe easier company,
you know, then maybe the year before PK.
You know, Barry, the Prince of Wales run where he's beaten
handy enough at Asgard.
And he's obviously just been kind of given kind of easy
enough group ones in France now to be honest,
which the fields haven't been that deep.
I just think 7 to 4, again, is a little bit skinny.
I'll be at the draws, you know, really good for him.
And you may bolt up, but it's just a price thing for me.
I just think it's very short to be, to be backing.
But look, my selection is one that I'm pretty bullish on,
to be honest, and that's a fair and dear.
He's kind of, you know, you might kind of turn around
and say, look, he's been beaten by Malte's cross already,
but he was actually coming off a two-month break then.
And we kind of know, especially graph-air
and the French trainers that they kind of bring them
along slowly slowly, he was coming off a two-month break.
He definitely wasn't fully cooked for it.
He can leave them short upon return.
So like, you know, he's been campaigned as one for me.
That's just, there's been one day that matters.
And that's the arc.
And I just think he has a really similar profile
to the likes of Ace Impact.
He's kind of made his debut as a tree-old in April.
He's been brought along slowly.
He's kind of been up to grade each time.
He's won a group tree and then put away
for the Grand Prix to parry run.
And then he was kind of, you know, put away again
for another five weeks.
And then he won a group two last time out.
Just like I said, one campaigned one day in mind,
brought along slowly.
I can just see him putting in a career-best effort
on Sundays, drawn for, which is perfect.
And he obviously has LeCouvert and Board
who writes the Agacan second string.
So maybe some people might be familiar with the jockey,
but it's no negative by any means.
He'd know the horse very well.
So look, he's a selection that you're maybe,
maybe a lot of the cases built on kind of potentially
rather than form in the book.
But he just has, you know, the eye of,
the eye of one that maybe has been laid out for this race.
He certainly has it on breeding and is improving every start.
The Americans kind of copy onto him a little bit.
He's quite strong at tens.
And I could see him maybe going off
a little bit shorter on the day I could.
And, but yeah, I think we're in 10 or 12 to one each way
with the extra pace in the Agacan.
I have a sneaky, special heel of Windows PK.
- Oh, it's weird in 'em.
Can I temper your enthusiasm?
- Go for it.
- I think my job would tip them up
and make them look like a star here on this week.
So I'm pretty sure he did.
And so maybe that one, maybe that makes him more bullish.
- Maybe.
- Maybe.
I don't know.
Right, so Varen Deere each way in the arc.
And again, Joe, letting us know there's going to be
an extra place, which is great.
It's great to get that big feel,
which gives us a lot of the opportunity
to give us an extra place.
So the second string, remember a couple of years ago
in the pre Marcel Boussac,
from Secret Fighter two fillies in that two
you're racing the Agacan SILX.
And one was Zaraganan.
And she was the next big thing.
She went off, what, four to seven to win it?
- Yeah.
- The stable made one us.
- No, not in the Agacan SILX,
but it was a stable made who wouldn't.
Right, the pre Deloprah will be the next race
to look at is the 350 on the card.
And you have semi-deprizes of this.
I mean, yeah, you have, you have, yeah, price.
- Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Of course, yeah, I asked for them.
I'm sure she could argue, run on the arc.
She's the five to four favorite
because she's beaten Diamond necklace this season.
So she's the one to beat.
Oh, prices are on sight now, great.
Precise three to one, four to one, pink pantera,
15 to two, Miss Scott, 14 to one, Cancura.
And yeah, so pretty fancy prices.
The rest, I was hoping that Jim Bulger
would have a change of heart
and run his Z spur new in this race.
But anyway, he doesn't,
Aventure looks good above here.
- Yeah, she probably does, to be honest.
I just, maybe at the price,
she's a little bit short for me to fight for,
but like I definitely wouldn't put anyone off.
I just think it was a nice kind of makeup,
maybe for kind of a little bad each way,
but on pink pantera, to be honest.
Just think she's just really interesting.
And again, another horse that's debuted as a tree-er-old,
she's kind of progressed through the season.
She was obviously second to diamond necklace
in the pre-de-dianne before being put up in a trip,
but looks like a horse to me that maybe is better
over 10 for a long.
She's obviously back to 10 for a long year,
which is great.
But last time I was she was second to friendly soul
at Long Shampon.
Friendly soul is obviously being supplemented for the arc.
Diamond necklace is also running in the arc,
who she was behind as well.
So I think her farm is pretty strong for this grade,
to be honest.
So she'd be the one for me now.
Again, you're kind of looking at,
hopefully she's taken a step forward in proving
and, you know, eventual aesthetics,
a huge benchmark of fairness.
But I just take a chance in her may be improving again.
I thought she was really good
and that dropped down to 10 for a long.
And it's a huge positive to be honest PK.
But just a quick mention as well for precise.
Obviously a horse that everyone kind of knows.
But she's a horse that since that win at Asgard,
actually a talk that she needed 10 for a longs that day.
She was kind of flat to the board, some about two hours.
And quite surprised that Valley Doyle kept it
to a mile for the rest of the season,
but I didn't even try it.
She's been beaten basically on every start since Asgard.
So her farm doesn't look great.
But I just would just tell Pontus kind of keep an eye on her.
I think up in Tripno should see her improved a little bit.
So I couldn't put anyone off her either.
But Ping Pantera, she's the selection.
She'd be a rare Philly's mile winner as a two-year-old.
It's not too of actually stepped up and tripped
as a three-year-old.
And this is her first opportunity.
I agree.
I think ever since the Guinea's run,
I thought this was going to be a Philly.
We wouldn't see again over a mile, so.
But they kept it to a mile until Sunday.
But Filthy each way back from Joe there.
He's suggesting a Ken closing bet.
What a trader, right?
On Ping Pantera in the pre-delup crowd.
We've got the pre-delup parade.
This is the 7-Ferrallon Group one.
Not the only 7-Ferrallon Group one all aged anymore
now that York has managed to find one in Europe.
Samangan, for France, you could far make up Barcelona.
Same price as Darius.
Same colors.
A 7-4, 9-4, for Falsie Stacks, the secret advocacy.
Christophe Summion on board.
True love, very nice 5-1, 9-7-1 in the Vertimer colors.
And then you got some more favorites like Marvel Man.
It's been a great horse for Underbullying and Aidan's
Puerto Rico, who's shown form here before.
Right, the pre-delup parade.
Yeah, a real specialist race in my book, PK.
And we've seen the likes of one master
in this multiple times, who is, for me, a 7-Ferrallon
horse, Kin Rasse is similar enough, I think you want to want.
So maybe we went off short a couple of times.
But I just think the secret adversary has that kind of similar preference.
And he was obviously tried for both the English and Irish Guinea's
as you would with like a good three-year-old cold.
But I just don't think the mile suited him at all.
Didn't stay both days for me.
He obviously dropped back to 7-4, the Cheshom
and was really, really impressive that day.
And got his group one in Doval next time out over 7-Ferrallons.
But again, last time, last time out, he stepped up to a mile.
And again, probably didn't stay.
And I think they've just had to mark this off for a long time now.
I think this is the race from 7-Ferrallon's key.
It's also interesting he's been sold.
I think he's going to run in the sangs.
They're still some people are reporting.
I think that's what's being reported.
Again, we're talking about Twitter here.
So we're not getting proper sources.
But--
Produceville has said you are indeed correct.
And he's got his fingers finger on the pulse that man.
Yeah, so look, it's interesting.
I don't know if he's been sold or parrots sold.
But sangs does have got to share in him anyway, at least.
But it's just interesting.
I think connections must be bullish and very
confident of him running a cracker here.
I just think drop back to 7 again.
We'll suit him down to the ground.
And I just think over this trip, he is a r-status.
Really, really good.
I just think he'll get his head in front here.
His last four runs over 7 or 7 1/2 for Alonz Reid.
First, first.
First, first.
There we are.
Can he make it 5 in a row?
The secret obviously, 9 to 4 second favor.
That is the pre-delafari.
And that is it.
As far as our coverage of the fabulous day
in the party, have you been to the arch, Joe?
I have, I've been 20.
So I went to Enable's first win at Sean T.
Sean T?
And I went to her second win at Long Shop
the first year it opened, which was a bit of a nightmare.
Because--
Oh, it just wasn't ready for the crowds.
PK, it was like, you know, going to be that person,
the angry guy, each other, who gives out
with the bar cues and all that.
But cues for the toy, the cues for the bar,
a bit of a disaster.
But a historical day, I guess, it was great to see.
I love Enable's shoes fantastic.
And I wasn't really a huge fan of flat racing.
Maybe 10 years ago, but she definitely
kind of turned my head a little bit round.
I think she was around her as a 16 about 10 years ago.
Was it salt?
Fantastic.
was one now to kind of brought me over to the dark side I guess. She was incredible.
So to see her twice when was great. You're very welcome. Join us. Join us. It's a great place to be.
We have racing all year round. Joe. It's great. When the stop stops in the summer this
side, we just look at the international racing. I know you're a massive fan of
the medical purpose. Yeah. I know I have been converted. I have been converted in fairness.
She was maybe one of the flag bears for us. But yeah, I know it's a special day really, isn't it?
The page entry and the pump is fantastic. I'm very jealous of the the lejos beef who can just
get on the train and go to Paris in a couple of hours. So it's not exactly expensive on the plane,
but yeah, it's great. It's a great card. If you can get there, I would highly highly recommend it.
I can't make it this year, but sure, I get enough trips out of the end of it anyway.
And the few detrails are going now. Oh yeah, go on. I can't read your member who's in the
crew, but I think five or six months ago, one to fifty. Sean has gone. I don't think he is. Actually,
I think it's a few, I don't think it's a lads. You'd know now. I think it's lads who haven't done
the part or anything before. But I think there's a group of five or six going. So wish them all the
best. Hopefully give them a few winners. Happy days. Shabbling some money on the PMU. Yeah,
exactly. Yeah. They can take fame a few expenses then as well. If they have to do a bit of work for
us as well. I'm pretty confident what your naps going to be, Joe. You were and you were pretty
sweet on one in the arc. And I'm going to assume that's what an app is. Yeah, that's an app just like
I said, but I can't even say his name. Probably is a veteran dear. Faran dear. It just looks PK like one
that I suppose they're all trying today. It's it's no kind of secret, but he just looks like one that
has this day in mind since day one and obviously the trainer is a very shrewd operator has the
favorite, but it just doesn't mean a second favorite can't win. I just think this is his day to
get improved for it. And yeah, I think he's a decent price at about 10 to 1. What's his name?
The winner of the arc that's what. Varen dear. Franz you go far looking to win a group one
on this day with the second string for this third year. Second day last three years. I can't
remember when Zaregana was beaten. 42 on the sale of it. Right brilliant, brilliant stuff. So
you're not heading to Paris. Are you in the office then? I would be working from home now,
but I'll be working all right. So we were off tomorrow and working Sunday. So working Sunday.
Are you trading long term? No, I'm not actually not. No, I'll be kind of have just overseeing things,
