Summer Weddings and The Odyssey Premiere Looks

Morgan Stewart opens the show by reflecting on the emotional and physical toll of hosting long-form podcast content, admitting that her intense, high-pressure interview style has become unsustainable and unnatural. She shares a personal moment of vulnerability, describing how a severe dehydration episode during a trip to Italy left her with a panic attack, reinforcing her need for self-care and breaks. The vacation, which included visits to Portofino and Sardinia, becomes a central theme of relaxation and joy, where she emphasizes the value of unplanned, unstructured time. She also reveals her deep interest in astrology, noting how fan messages—especially those tied to personal loss—have driven her to share more about her spiritual practices, though she remains protective of her medium. The episode then transitions into pop culture, with Stewart praising 1975, Gabriette and Maddie Healey’s wedding, and Lupita’s fashion choices, while offering candid critiques of trends like flip flops and Pucci overuse. She shares insights on her workout routine and diet, emphasizing intuitive body awareness, and reflects on the emotional impact of disruptions like internet outages during a movie theater visit. Ultimately, the show blends personal vulnerability, fashion admiration, and heartfelt fan engagement, celebrating authenticity over perfection. Morgan concludes by affirming that her podcast is meant to be fun, human, and relatable—not a polished performance.

(upbeat music) - Hey everyone, I'm Morgan Stewart and welcome to The Morgan Stewart Show. I'm gonna be talking about pop culture, fashion, my personal life, and just a warning, I will be giving my opinions on everything. And those opinions are subject to change, okay? Now, let's get into it. Can we start? Okay, I literally, we're gonna all take a deep breath together, I'm not kidding. One more for good luck. You're not breathing Jessica. We're all breathing. We're starting this show. Okay, I feel centered, you guys. I literally had like a tortured moment yesterday because I was talking to my assistant Jessica about this show and how it is torturing me, okay? Because I put such an immense amount of pressure on myself to connect with whoever is coming on. And I do it almost in a way that's like unnatural as I have explained to everyone in this room a thousand times, right? So basically, somebody comes in, I like don't properly introduce them. And I'm like, "Duh, I was here, I'm so excited." And this was so now, whatever bullshit I'm constantly saying because I'm in a completely different hemisphere. And I want to just reset, take a second and like enjoy myself and have a good time and realize that this show is a blessing and I'm so lucky to do it, which I feel. But I guess I came to the realization yesterday that this is the first time I have ever done long form content. I have only done television in an ensemble cast where there were 50 producers surrounding my every move and I could color in sort of the palette that had already been displayed for me. There was probably a clear way to say that, but did that make sense? Like so much of what I was doing was carved out and then I could just show up be talent and that was it. And I always had other people to play off of and even in the event of like all the other popular podcasts that are happening like "Giggly Squad" and who else is there that has like a co-host? - The toast. - The toast? We love the toast, but who's Benito Skinner and Mary Bethborough, what podcast, what is that called? - Right. - It's called "Ride"? - Yeah, I love it. - Okay, I love it too. I didn't even know it was called "Ride" here, we fucking go. You know, they have such an effortless flair because they're all talking to their best friend. I am talking to you at home or whoever is next to me. And I think that what's weird for me and something that I have to just maybe take a beat, be a little bit easier on myself. And that's why I'm happy we have these solo episodes 'cause these are touch point episodes 'cause you guys get to come along for this ride. But it's really like, if I'm talking to somebody, can't hear my somebody right now. And you're like, you know, my brother was diagnosed and I'm like, yeah, no, totally. And then of course, and then when you had that reunion, I don't wanna put a piece of paper in between myself and my guest. But what I am, my approach to my interviews is not currently sustainable because in my mind, it becomes a long marathon because I am raw dogging every next point. And it doesn't allow for me to feel happy, fun, and safe. Not that these solo episodes are to explain myself and every single thing I do. But I just feel like this should be the most fun thing I do every single week. And it is obviously my passion. And I just wanna get into a space where like, it's not that serious. And I need to approach this podcast, how I would approach it and not feel like I need to keep hitting these like certain benchmarks. And I just think even if I need to, everyone wait for it, even if I have to stop down and rearrange my cards, that's okay. Like if I'm talking, if you're at lunch with your friend for an hour, talking to him, you're gonna take a second to look at your phone. Or no, every, for an hour span, are you giving someone undivided attention for one whole hour where you're not doing anything else? - No, there's food happening, there's a phone break, there's doing the swipe, and you just put it down. But yeah, that is my struggle. Like I'm like, it's not natural. Of course if you're doing like an interview of, but an hour stretch is like, I don't know, I might just bring in like the phone break on the podcast and we might have intermission where we're like, hey, this has been wonderful, but we need a five minute like reset. I need to refresh. So that is my Morgan Stewart human moment. We're concluding that, is that, that's a word, right? Yep, cool. And we're gonna talk about how it's just on vacation for a little bit, and then we're gonna get into fashion and so much pop culture, and probably gonna do that really out of order. So first and foremost, I was in Italy for 10 days. I got to Portofino first, and I had only been to Portofino via boat as like a stop on the boat, relatable, obviously. And I was like this magical little city. The thing about Portofino is like, it's very difficult to get to. If you are on a boat, it's the route has to include like France and not all Italy, 'cause it's like in between both those places. I hope that's factual. Someone checked that, I think it is. Anyway, we ended up doing two days in Portofino with our friends, and it is the most magical, beautiful place I think I've ever been to. It's one of my favorite places, and I'm gonna go and record to say, I know. Don't freak out, I know, I'm gonna say it. I think I like Italy more than France. I know, I know, I know, everyone's like, can't even believe it, can't even believe I said that, but I think it's true. I think it's true. We did Portofino for two nights. The first night I got there, I had no water on the flight, and we took like, we had a two hour layover, and then we had another hour flight, and I got to the hotel, and I basically blacked out, and I couldn't leave for dinner that night, because I was so dehydrated that my body just crashed down. Do you know what I'm saying, Cody? I had like a serious autoimmune moment. Yeah, when you need a rest, you just gotta rest. Oh, no, no, no. It was almost like the grim reaper was coming through my left eye. Like, I couldn't see out of it, it was that bad. And my husband was like, just get up, we need to go. I said, if you talk to me when we're fucking time, I'm leaving this marriage, I am not going to dinner, I'm going to fucking drop dead on the floor. And I got fully ready, so I was gorgeous and having a panic attack. I know, water break now. Well, what were you wearing when you? I was wearing a Saint Laurent dress, lingerie dress, obviously, with a booty short, and like a bra that was giving sheer nipple, like just like the right amount of nipple, but I didn't even know about it till afternoon. I was like, okay, queen. And I literally just laid in bed and I ordered pasta by myself and just like was praying to God that I was going to make it. But it was really one of those, like whole body dehydrated. Like my body is a calilily. It just wilts. I'm just so meek. Anyway, so we did that. And then we got on the boat two days later and I just want to say, I know I've said this in every media. I'm like Instagram, subscribe. Well, it was the best trip I have ever taken in my life. The food, the food was amazing. The vibes were amazing. The drinks were amazing. The friends were amazing. The activities were amazing. Like everything was just so relaxed. We weren't rushing places. I was in the water all day. We weren't going to some dumbass beach club. Like we did once, but it was like, it just truly felt like the first vacation I've ever taken. And I know you guys were all really happy. And everyone was so shocked that we had an episode. That's the other thing that I needed to stay, guys, we're going to talk about astrology on the show. I'm not going to be bullied out of talking about astrology. I want to know what I'm dealing with. I want to know whose sign is what. But I definitely think post Lisa Rina, we need to say, like your sign is this, not do you know this. Is that a show of hands? We all agree. It just needs to be like this is your whole chart. And this is what we're dealing with. And then I'll give like three lines about like the bullshit thing I know about that. I love that. And then that's kind of our fan feedback as people want to know also why you know so much about astrology. But and the other thing is people, like I got messages this morning saying, like you have to talk about astrology because I lost my dad. And he was talking to me through your first episode. Like people are like really like invested in the astrology. And I am, there is going to be a time soon where I am going to drop my medium's name in, I know it's not going to be today, but I am going to help the general public because I have so many messages asking who it is. And the only reason is I haven't shared it as A because I'm extremely protective of this person, their energy and my closeness with them. And this is a true gift that this person possesses. And I don't want them to be overloaded energetically by like thousands and thousands of people messaging them and him. So it's a him. But I will, I think we need to have him on. And then I think we go from there. Oh, somebody's messaging me right now. Rebecca, I'm not into astrology, but I feel like I need it to be on the show unplanned. - See? - I need to do my shirt now. 'Cause she messaged me two hours ago saying, I love the show. I said I'm so happy because it's been hard on me, it's been a long while, a while. 'Cause it seems like it's a lot of work for sure, but it's so good and so fun to listen to. I need to do my shirt. I'm not into astrology, but I feel like I need to be now and you need to keep it on the show. Here's the thing, guys. When you ask for signs, they come. What the fuck else are we talking about? Did I say anything about my vacation? It was, I, we went to like the most remote places. Like we went to Sardinia and like we just like, I don't know what this boat captain was on, but he just like dropped us in these like different like lagoon's literally like where I had a snorkel on in the island, camp at eight years old. Like we were like among the fishes in the water. I was giving like salty mermaid hair. It was really just like so magical. And then I was like, I can't believe this is my life. And then there were certain days where it was so good that I had to ward off any paranoia of like, oh, your life's about to be like the other shoes about to drop, but I have therapy today. Things can't be too good for me for too long. 'Cause I'm always like somebody's like gonna come and put an axe on it. And I have to give a shout out to Susan because she watched those babies with my nanny for 10 days. There was only one major incident where Ro basically told them to fuck off. Her mommy tucks like that. And my mom called me and she was really stressed out, but I have to give a shout out to my mom who is feeling a lot better. I shouldn't say feeling a lot better. She's currently getting, you good. I said I wasn't gonna say this on the show, but I'm going to. She's getting weekly daily. daily infusions of literally humoglobin mabawin, I don't know, so I heard that word when my dad was going through cancer, so I'm like, really in the medical fields now, but basically they are injecting her for two and a half hours every day with antibodies to help fight off her autoimmune antibodies. So she has crazy insurance, fortunately, because she has all these autoimmune things. And so like now she can do it with a deductible, but it is insane. The road we've been on and yesterday we went to the doctor to do like a touch base after her first infusion on Monday. And she just broke down in the elevator. And she was like, I'm so happy that I feel better because I couldn't have continued. So I'm so happy that that's sorted because that was really bad, right? She was like, really not feeling well, but she's feeling better. Let's see. I'm going to call her right now, actually. She just asked her, because we were talking about my hair extensions. And this is how I know she's feeling better. She's not going to answer. Watch her not answer. How do I put it on speaker? Yeah, this is being right. She won't answer. No, she doesn't answer. She doesn't answer since I was in seventh grade. Hello. Hello. What the fuck are you doing? I just showered and I got ready and put clothes on and I don't know, resting. So fucking hot and swimming. So let me ask you. Yeah, let me ask you a question. Do you think I should keep my hair extensions or do you think I should get rid of them? I think you should get rid of them. Do you not look like they're jealous? Do you think they're not sheet like, why don't you think they look good? They always look raggy. They look fake. They look raggy. They look like the old hair extensions you had. I don't know. They just never looks good. You don't think it ever looks. It never looks good? No, unless you're in front of the camera and you have like a hair dress who blow, dries them and does the whole thing and then then it's good. Okay, so should I take them out on Friday and leave them out and have like no hair in my head? Well, if you want to have hair in front of the camera, then clip it in. But I think it's time for you to let you, it needs to come back for two, three months. Okay. Okay, bye. Bye. Bye. I think she's feeling better. That's how we know because she cannot get over that my hair looks like this. And I have to say on the trip, I got so many messages because I was giving mermaid curly hair. And here's the gag. I don't have straight hair. I have straight pieces on top of curly. Like my Judaism really comes out. I have the same though. What the fuck is that? Pica texture. Top is straight underneath. Give me curls, give me full body or give me straight. But the curly straight, I can't deal with it. So I add this hair and this bunch has not been great and every time she looks at me, even though she feels like shit, she's like, this is ridiculous. What do you have in your fucking head? So maybe we need to go to the hair shop after and get some clips and I'll clip for the camera and I'll just start to like do a little bun. So she's feeling better. I'm feeling better. We're doing these infusions. She can't travel. This is the last gag I'll say. We went to the doctor's office. First of all, she had this one. Doctor Holden. I looked to see if he had a ring. He does. I was like, oh, I don't feel well either. Doctor. Mom was like, I just want to know how long I have to do these four because I really want to go visit my mom. She's a hundred and one. She's not doing well. I sit bitch in front of them. I'm like, no, no, no. She's been dying for five years and she's a hundred and one. You need to finish this whole protocol because two weeks before my dad died, she had to go see her mom because her mom was also ill. And now my grandmother is still smoking cigarettes on her couch with plastic on it. So we're not rushing back to go talk to her because she's confused for one hour. She's fine, literally meeting her eight year old friends for coffee every single day. It's good if therapy today because who knows what's going on with me. There's nothing else to talk about. The vacation to end on that was the best vacation I've ever been on. It was so wonderful. The only issue with it was that I had to come back, you know, did you even like see me on Instagram? Did you like any of my looks? Yeah. I was all watching you. Not believable. Even if people at work were like slacking me going like, did you see Morgan on vacation? I go, well, yeah, duh. Oh, we are talking about you. Is there a serious slack too because there's one for Wrangley and when I tell you no one involves me in the slack, should I get on this slack? Like, why am I not on a slack? You don't want to be in the work slack. It's too much. I don't even want to be in the work slack. Were they like you, she's on vacation, why isn't she at work or was they like, oh, she's an effortless. The people were scared. You wouldn't have your ad reads or an episode. I go, you know, we're professional. We have our stuff. What are we? We are not amateurs. No, we are absolutely not. We're not. I mean, give me a fucking break. We're doing the goddamn Lord's work in here. Okay. Let's talk about pop culture. Let's go back to my roots. I'm so excited. First and foremost, I wrote notes out. Let's see if I even know what they mean. Oh, this is funny actually because the first thing I just wrote down when I saw it, did you see the clip of Amy Polar with Will Ferrell where she's basically saying how she's so bad at transitions? Did you all see that? You didn't see it. Oh, okay. Well, maybe you should pull it up and look at it because it's going to make your fucking day. She basically is interviewing Will Ferrell and she was like, so I want to talk about and she just like stuttered and like, it just was not natural, hence the beginning of this show. And she was like, I fucking, she threw the glasses down and she's like, I fucking suck at transitions. And Will Ferrell was like, yeah, that was rough. And it was just like, that is what this show needs to be. I need to lean into the mistakes and I'm not Barbara Walters. This is not hard hitting news. I don't need to be the most polished podcaster in the world. There is that person. Alex Cooper is the, is the polish podcaster. Yeah, but it also didn't start that way. Right. She's talking about Dick and like Dick. Yeah. And the show and their transitions and she followed where it needed to be. Yeah. Oh, are we going to transition? I don't think so. I think this is who I am. Wait. Yeah. I'm for her. I'm for her. I'm for her. She, she had her show at a pinnacle. Like, she was, you know, transforming as an individual. I, I'm not, I'm like stuck with the husband. I'm stuck with, stuck with the kids. Like, I'm stuck with the personality. I'm stuck with the body. Body T kind of right now. No one even said that extra protein. But anyway, so I don't think I'm going to like go and then all of a sudden turn into like, you know, talking about Dick again. We'll talk about it sometimes. Okay. What else? You know, feeling natural, having fun. Don't be so hard on yourself. Good job, Morgan. That's why I can't even read my own news. Okay. Let's talk about pop culture first and foremost. I do want to also say because I don't think people know this about me. I'm going to, I'm going to pause on this. I am a huge 1975 fan. Do any of you like the 1975? Oh, my God. We're getting, we're getting Gen Z hearts. You don't like them just a guy? I do. I said I do. We love no heart from you. You're 21. It's fine. It doesn't matter. I am. It's allowed, obviously. It's allowed, right? I am a swifty. I kind of fuck with Taylor Swift in a really hard way. I mean, absolutely not the fashion. And on any level, but I do think her hair color is one that should be studied, like how have we gotten that hair color? But she, this is my hottest Taylor Swift through the years. This is her perfect look. But I've always thought she's too rich to have such bad hair because you went through a series of bad haircuts and bad hair color. So now this is great, but I was, I worried for her for a long time, but rich people struggle too. Look at my hair. Okay. And I could, I could spend three days on it and I cannot navigate. And it's also been 15 years of this bad hair. And I just didn't like hold, I did a bob for one minute and that was okay and this is just not good. So anyway, 1975, huge fan and I am in particular a huge Maddie Healey fan, huge. He's the hottest man alive, so cut to he's with Gabriette now who I also do like Gabriette. I don't know who that is, girl. I love you. Hearts. Okay. But didn't Gabriette kind of come out of nowhere with Maddie Healey? Thumbs up. I was like, he was with Taylor. I knew that wasn't going to work. And then he got with Gabriette. And Gabriette is one of those people that is just like so naturally beautiful and like possesses a look that not a lot of people possess. And I'm just like, there's no makeup you look tired, but you look fucking gorgeous. I have no makeup on look tired. I literally look like I slept like outside, I'm like, what's happening? So I love them together and I have to say there was a lot of wedding hoopla. Obviously, Paige Lorenz got married to Tommy Paul. It's weird because she's not Paige Paul to me, which means she's supposed to be with him. And Shay Sullivan, and do you know Shay Sullivan from TikTok? Does anyone else know Shay? Yeah. Okay. My Gen Z bitches. What's the man's name? Casey is a drink of sparkling, you need to Google Casey. He's a whole lot of man and Shay's that sort of like old bombshell, gorgeous fucking. Anyway, everyone got married and I have to say Gabriette's wedding dress blew me away. I loved it. I felt something for it. I thought it was so on point. It was so her. It felt so tailored to her literally. Like, it just was interesting. It felt couture. It felt really high fashion without trying to be too much like other thing. And I just couldn't believe like, the way it came together. And when I saw the BTS of the Vogue, like, fitting, I immediately was like, who the fuck made that? Who made it? I know. Mette, what did Mette? She probably won't say Trebia. It's Mette. Me fucking. The Trefical. Okay. Okay. These people did the Demi Moore, like, tattered pink dress that Brad Goreski put her in. I know we're putting it on the screen, but I'm also showing you because I do the Lord's work on this fucking show. I saw that. that pink dress that Demi was in and I couldn't believe it. I thought it was like one of the most high fashion moments we had seen. It was fun, not serious. It's like tattered. I just thought it was amazing. And to find out that I loved Gabriette's dress as much as I did and did not know that it was the same designer, like this is the dress that Gabriette should have worn for her wedding without question. And that is why I think I like it so much because it feels so specific to her. And I love that there were multiple looks. There was the party look, the after party look, the pre-wedding, like everything was just so, it was like an add-on to what this original silhouette was and this theme and idea. I loved it, do you like it, Kim? - I do. - Isn't it fucking fashion? - It's beautiful. - It's giving, it is. And I know that they had referenced Dracula, I had just read that. It is giving like 80s royal sort of like spoof on that with like dark ages, like I don't know what it is and her like Amy Winehouse, like hair inspired do insane. And I thought he looks great too. And I'm so happy for them. I'm huge fans of them. I feel like I should be friends with Gabriette. She thinks I'm like Brittany Spears though. She doesn't realize how cool I am. You know, like the cool girls, like Devin Lee Carlson's coming on in a few weeks. And like I'm gonna talk to her about Gabriette and how we all need to like have a drink in Los Felis. I'll go there. I'll fucking go to Los Felis. I'll go to fucking silver. I'm in, I'm with the people there because let me tell you about Beverly Hills. It sucks. There's nowhere to go. I'm like going to dinner with my girlfriends and I'm like, are we 58? Like I get my period still. Why do we have nowhere to go to dinner? Like I'm literally like we cannot keep eating like mush. So what's the best drink spot in Los Felis? - Ooh, okay. Miratay? - Do I need to be there? I need to look at someone gorgeous. There's no one gorgeous in Beverly Hills. Like I mean, yes, but no. I want like young people that like are artistic. - Vendel. The way it's V-A-R-D-E-L-O. - Okay. - Yeah, I'm Miratay. - Are you drinking martinis? - Best martini is the Dresden. - I personally. - I think I've been to the Dresden. - Yeah, the Dresden on Friday nights. It's poppin', but they make a mean martini. - Should I go there? Do you think people would know who I was if I went there? - I mean, well, why not? - Okay, that is, I'm venturing out because I have no idea why we got to Los Felis. Oh, because Gabriette and Devon Lee Carlson are gonna be my new crew. Cause Devon's coming always Frankie. So Frankie's bikinis and I can't wait. But anyway, I fucking love their wedding. I'm so happy for them. And I just want to say, see, perfect. Oh, and I almost forgot, I love the shoes. I thought the shoes were thoughtful. There's nothing worse than when an outfit is so meticulous, thoughtful, planned out. And then the shoe was like an afterthought. Like this makes sense. By the way, I'm getting white Luba Thompson. I, we have to text him. They're really nostalgic. I loved it. And I think these two are gonna have a baby soon. And I think they're gonna be together forever. Paige Lorenz, Paige Paul, Tommy Paul. They also weirdly look alike those two. I had never, I don't know that much about Tommy Paul, but I love Paige. She's one of those internet friends that have come to the surface and we've like been keeking over the last few weeks. And she ended up wearing a wrangly organza set into her last fitting for her dress for Vogue. And so we posted it. And she has been lovely. I thought it was like so classic, so beautiful. Like it was just exactly what I would expect from her. She did everything that on brand for like what her whole thing is. And I, even if somebody doesn't have my same aesthetic, I appreciate when somebody sticks to their aesthetic and they go full throttle in it. It is very like old money, Connecticut, right? Like clean aesthetic. Like she got those blue fucking eyeballs that are popping out of her head. Like, you know, she doesn't need blonde hair. If you don't, that's another PSA I wanna mention. If you are somebody who doesn't need to have blonde hair, don't. Blonde hair doesn't ever really look that good. And usually a darker shade is better. But I, for some reason, I've just been cursed with like, if I go darker, it doesn't work. Don't tell me messages that you like the brown hair 'cause it did not work. It like worked sometimes, but it doesn't work overall. Not to make it about me. I liked what I will say about her looks. I really liked her wedding dress the most. And everything else I thought was pretty, but this to me was like the standout. And I thought this was like the most. I don't know if meticulous is the word I wanna use, but I just thought it was like the, like I'm like, bam, there it is. Whereas everything else sort of, not blurred together, but like she looks fucking gorgeous here, but I maybe didn't, I didn't remember this dress until you said it. But I also think I've only seen the wedding dress a lot. But I loved all of their content from the wedding. That was also something I noticed. I thought was really well done. Shay Sullivan, okay, let's talk about Shay. Casey and her, I like that TikTok couple. I think they're fucking cute. I think Casey's cute. And I think she's absolutely gorgeous. She's like a bombshell. Shay's wedding was not my taste. I didn't love her dress, but I thought she looked so gorgeous. And again, it was her taste and she looked like she had a great time. So I'm all about them. I support them. And I want them to make lots of money. 'Cause I think that they're like working together as a couple of mine. Yeah, like they're so cute. What are their signs? We should probably always have people signs. Okay, let's talk about the Odyssey. First of all, has anyone seen the Odyssey? Oh, you fucking, Gen Z stays at the movies. Oh, also, before we get into that, I went to the live action I pick of Moana 'cause I have kids. So we took them to their first movie in the theater. So we went to I pick and the whole day I didn't eat anything because I was like, I'm gonna have pizza and they discontinued serving food at I pick. So that was frustrating. Also the weird thing about that I pick is that it is literally in front of where my dad is buried. So there's, that's not funny. But every time we go there and we don't stop and say hello, I'm like, this is fucked up. But you can, there's I pick and you drive through the driveway and then there's the cemetery and every time I'm like, well, should we just like scoot on over? But we don't. So anyway, I'm glad that they're closing 'cause it's just a weird location for me to go to. Wait, I have a question about food and the movie theater 'cause we talked about this at work months ago. On Slack or in person? All over the place. In person on Slack, it was a fight. What are your thoughts on like, just regular like movie popcorn candy and soda versus like, full meals inside? Okay, well, wait, let's be clear here. So I pick like serves food. Yeah, and I'm full meal. I'm all about it. Like I'm eating pizza. I'm not like having like shrimp cocktail at the movie. I love shrimp cocktail, by the way. Well, like pizza, but then there's like Alamo Drafthouse where you can get like a full brunch. Sorry, what about the mumble? What the fuck was Alamo Drafthouse? What the fuck is Alamo Drafthouse? It's a movie theater chain, but where? Well, there's one in mainland Texas. Oh, I've never heard started, it did start in Texas. Yeah, they'll serve full brunch. Like chili, chili, stuff, and I'm like, no, not in a movie, it's dark in here. No, chili, that's crazy. If you're getting into sauce, it's a single item food. Hot dog, pizza, not even a burger. Margarita. Margarita. Yeah, I had a bucket of popcorn with my son. I think he ate more than I did. I was like, you're four, you gotta show the fuck up. And then I had the fountain soda and I will say halfway through the movie. I, all of a sudden, have 18 text messages that come through. I have no service in the movie. One from my head of brand with all of these different images that load, that do not load, and then images from my best friend, John, that also don't load at the same time. And all of a sudden, from the top of my head to the bottom of my feet, I just had that rush of anxiety of like, what the fuck's on the internet? Why the fuck is this? Why is this not loading? 'Cause, oh, they both said alert. Hello, I was like, what the fuck is it? So I literally, this is physical comedy. I'm Richard, I'm not Richard Gear. I'm John Candy. I don't know what I'm saying. I literally see this. I literally melt. I get the fuck up. I leave the four-year-old. And I, Jordan, I gotta go. I walk out of the movie theater. I am desperately trying to find service. I'm talking to this short lady, shaved head, like one earring. And I'm literally like, what the fuck is the Wi-Fi? I couldn't even understand her. I was so blacked out because I was so stressed. Finally, I wandered outside of the movie theater. And I finally get service. And all of a sudden, it's like a screenshot of some bitches dress. And I'm like, never again, can you say alert, alert. And send me 14 fucking pictures. And then have my best friend cut. Who incidentally text me something else, a picture of something else? No. So that just shows you that I am not internally very steady. So anyway, the Odyssey, Matt Damon. I know we don't think of Matt Damon as a sex symbol. Or do we? Oh, we do. I think born identity, for sure. Oh, for sure. So let me rephrase. I had never thought of Matt Damon as like, I always was like, good actor, Ben Affleck's best friend, writer, talented. Two and a half years ago, I'm in New York at Costa Chippewaoni with my best friend, John. And all of a sudden, I'm looking down. I look up the main doors of Costa Chippewaoni where the restaurant is open. Matt Damon, two friends on this side, two friends on that side. And I literally, it was like a wind machine had blown on my face. And we were like calling action. Jason Bourne walks towards me. The energy and magnitude of Matt Damon. I said, bitch, what the fuck is happening? The hottest man on the earth. No, no, no, I'm not. He is a happily married man. He's got all those kids. I couldn't believe the swag on Matt Damon. And all of us saw it. And we were like, where is he sitting and how do we get closer? It was crazy. I do want to say in that same vein, his stylist for this press tour, we got to go. It's got to go. The worst clothing I have ever seen on a man. I don't know what the fuck weird, Hodgepodge accountant outfits, they're putting him in, nothing is working. - What the fuck is this? - Yes. - What the fuck is it? - It is so, is that good? - He's like 55. - I don't care, he's hot. He needs to be, like that? No, it's just not good. And like the sunglasses are always like those weird oversize like could be Rayband, like no. Why are we not in it? You should be in full-tomph. I don't know. Brioni, maybe some of it is. It's just not the top left. The blue suit with the brown shoes. Oh my God, that's like my agent, like who's having a good year. I was about to say he looks like an agent or like, yeah. - That is literally like my agent who called me yesterday and he was like, how's podcasting? I'm like, okay, Lance. - You don't like the gray? - The gray is okay, Kim, but what is, it's just so, it's so cheesy white man. I'm sorry, like are you not gonna say that? Like it's just, he is a huge bonafide movie star across all genres. He's brilliant. He's like the only like serious not, I mean, he's like in this relationship. He's like the people's champ. We need to get a better stylist for Matt Damon. Should he come on? - He gets intentional though. Like maybe he's the every man. But he's, he's from Boston. - He looks like that, like John Cena would wear that. - Well, you know, hey. - And I like John Cena. And I do feel like I am manifesting Matt Damon coming on the show and giving me shit like he does Jimmy Kimmel. Like that sticks over. Like come on this show and say that your fashion's better. Let's debate, you know what I mean? Or should, or let me dress him. Yeah, this is, this is so like, or it's studio execs son that like the dad's on the way out and he's gonna get the throne. Not good. - It's very succession. - It's a, in such a, it's such a bad. It's so bad. - Do we think he could pull off something like a little bit more editorial? Cause I think some people can and can't. I wonder if he puts it on and it goes, nah, it's just not me. - And that's the thing, like that's a really good point. It's not even that it needs to be editorial or high fashion. It needs to be classic but well done. He literally looks like he works at sales. There's nothing wrong with that but it's just not Matt Day. He's the biggest movie star that we have and we're like, you know what I mean? Also, I guess we're gonna just say quickly that Jacob already and Kendall are dating and we haven't set that on this show publicly and does everyone need to take a minute? I wanted to just say the about Kendall. I just wanted to note that I know that it's happening, they're fornicating and that they look alike and I think they're gonna get married. - Okay, calling it out. - Do you think they're gonna get married? - They're both water signs so maybe. - Cancer Scorpio. - There you go. - I don't know the rest of their charts but I think Kenny Ken and Jacob, I don't know. I mean, he's so new and he's not fucked enough people because he hasn't and he looks like that and just is that tall, like it's like neck hurts tall. But my girl Kenny is so gorge and like they look alike and I think this could really, this is gonna be if this does end, it's gonna be a brutal one for both of them. I think this is gonna hurt. It's not gonna be easy. That's why they should just continue to be together forever. (upbeat music) Let's talk about the Odyssey and Zendaya but let's talk about Lupita because no one is talking about Lupita. Did you see any looks of hers? - I did. - You did? - I did. - Okay, I was like, we're getting crumps. And I feel like when Zendaya is a part of a cast, she does take over in terms of fashion and everyone's focus and Zendaya, excuse me, Lupita has always turned looks. She's always been a fashion princess. She's really been giving us a lot through the years consistently and on this particular tour, I don't feel like she got her praises. So we're gonna praise her because I fucking loved it. Okay, we're starting here. The Sylvia, Tarachi, Tarasi sort of. This is like very vacation, flowy, like fresh, like press tour, like it's summer. I have a hot movie coming out. The colors are gorgeous. I love the tie in the middle and I love the shoe pairing. I thought she looked gorgeous. It's just pretty. There's nothing wrong with it. And that's what I like. The only thing that's wrong with it is that girl in the back with the overalls. Okay, Christian Cowell Fall, 2026. This is so ethereal. So strong. The body you need to have for that picture to exist is crazy. Like that doesn't happen on like a normal specimen. Like we're not, I've not posed. I could literally bend over and wouldn't get those angles. And I am hitting the gym now, so whatever. But crazy, gorgeous. And also just like simple. And what I like about it is that you can tell that she is a hand in whatever she's wearing. This is not like somebody's not like, oh, just throw this on and blah, blah, blah, blah. And I like that the hair short. I like that the earrings are dropped, but it's not a lot of jewelry. That is, look at the makeup. Damn. Yeah, really strong. Let's strong, yeah. Okay, what else is there? I'm so excited. This, this was not, I can't tell if I don't like this or this is just a bad shot. Chanel, I'm assuming. Right? Yeah, she looks good. And like she has to get some Chanel in and it is fresh. And I do like that everything that I've seen her in does feel very summer appropriate. I sometimes think that people get carried away in a theme and they don't realize like the actual temperature. Like whatever you're wearing is you're wearing it in real life. You do want it to kind of make sense with where you are and like what season it is. So I feel like, I like it. I don't like this photo, but I like it. And I like the hoops. I like that they're the right size. And the shoes look good. Oh, this one's good. Okay, Blosset Milano, this sort of golden, satin suit. I don't know if the shirt under is the same. Randomly shout out to Blosset Milano because they make fantastic jeans. Just to note, I have red and brown, right? Gorgeous. I like the color. I like the red bag. I like the sunglasses. Like why have I not seen so many of these looks? I noticed she, I don't know about the top. It was really hard to find people reporting what she was wearing, but she would then she wore that top with a pair of like, I think black trousers to like a soccer match. So she was like re-wearing a lot of these looks in different ways. It was really cool. But also, that's my point. You know she has a say in what she's putting on her body. And that's when somebody is dressed the best. You can tell when somebody's just being told, oh, put this on, wear these shoes. And then they have no emotional attachment. And then they don't embody the clothes and people can see it. This is honestly lights out. This is a fucking movie. I started this goal. And I like that she's also like really sticking within like a theme of color. And she knows it works. It also really works like sort of against like the ethereal vibe of the film. I mean, who makes this? This like lace corseted gold. Is that a Vivian Westwood necklace? I believe it is. Nicholas Oakwell Couture. Gorgeous. Whoever's doing her face, they're showing up. And I like the darker lip. I like that she's sort of, there's always a contrast. Like everything is always thought out and it always looks really interesting. Yeah, I mean, Lupita is kind of our, I mean, I feel like we've been talking about Lupita as a fashion girl before we talked about Zendaya, to be honest. Do you think that that's a factual statement? I think it is because remember that blue Chanel she wore years ago at the Oscars at Blue Everyone Away. I'll never, we'll never forget it. That's the thing. She's always been doing this. This is like, I like this and it's night. It's my least favorite. And I don't know how I feel about feathers. What about the layers though? The layered, look, she looks like a really high class. It's like a very well-dressed woman. But to me, this is for a 78 year old woman who gives to the museum. OK, fair. She's on the board. Board Z. And she's got a luncheon. And she's a fabulous, she's got a yacht she's building. You know, but it's like, I almost feel like it's a cool look, but she's maybe cooler than it. Maybe, but I also like it. Matthew Blasey, obviously, Chanel, the sort of laser cut bright coral. This is the thing also why I really wanted to talk about Lupita's looks is that the color theory on this woman and like what she is gravitating towards and putting on her body is so good and thoughtful. And I like the hair here too. And I like the face. And the earrings are really, really, really beautiful. She's kind of doing a darker eye throughout all of her looks and a darker lip, no matter what color she's wearing. And I like that. I'm curious who her makeup artist is. I'm going to do the lords work and find that. What is this? OK, custom-- oh, custom, Georgia, our money, Preve. Can we zoomies, zoomies? Really nice. Really nice. I wonder if she's pissed. Is she like, why is no one talking about my fucking looks or is that sort of like the name of the game when you're with Zendaya? And is it because Zendaya's just young? I think it's the combination between her and Law Roach. Like, they both are equally popular and revered. I kind of love Law. And the thing about it is what I think maybe some people don't think about with stylists too is Law and Zendaya came together. And they have an un sort of matched chemistry and dynamic that works within the two of them. It is not that Law can take that same energy and put it on every single person. That's why fashion is so emotional. Like, they have each other's like, they're magic together. But if Law, let's say, did Lupita-- I don't know if we'd get that same outcome. And I think he said that too in the past. But should we get into Zendaya's looks? Who's this makeup artist? Nick Burrows. I'm always looking for a great makeup artist in New York City because everyone's always soapooked up in New York [BLANK_AUDIO] the LA Glant, the WWE, the LA Glant versus the New York Glant is an entire podcast that we don't have time to get into, but it is very different. Because I need actress makeup, which is just like a little rougie and like a little liner, but then my eyes will literally look like saggy balls, as we know. So I need things to be open. So I need glam beat actress. I can't do full beat, and I can't do full actress. I'm not that type of white bitch. You know what I mean? They're like Rosie, like I'm not doing this and it's working. I need to line and crayon. So I need like half drag, half actress. So whoever can do that, DM me. Are we talking about Zendaya now? Fun fact, okay, we have to say this first going back to makeup artists. So Zendaya's makeup artist. This adorable cutie name Ernesto did my makeup for my first wedding. I knew him before he knew anybody. He was, I found him. I can't remember how we met, but I was at the very beginning of his career. He literally hadn't done anybody. And then he blew the fuck up. And now he's working all over the place. So we DM from time to time, and I'm like, if our paths ever cross, like let's please come back together. So I'm happy he's making everybody look gorgeous. He's doing Zendaya. He's doing Jennifer Lopez. Like he is such an artist. I'm actually going to DM him and be like, remember where you came from. But anyway, no, I fucking love him. And so let's do two looks of Zendaya. Number one. Zueira Maraud and NYC she did it for the tonight show, The Gold. This is one of those moments where it's just like, okay, like you were meant to wear that. It worked the color, worked the hair, the face. It's all crazy. But also what I like specifically about Zendaya and law is that they keep it so fucking consistent with the 120-pogal from Lupitan. That is my shoe. My foot is like molded to that shoe. And so I appreciate that. And then I'm going to do to tie it all back together. We're going to do the last look, which is, yes, the same designers that made Gabriette's dress. This sort of, well, it's not sort of this angelic, grecion sort of like form to the body with the angel wings and like the white shoe. That's theme dressing at its peak. And there is nothing that gets me hot and bothered like a white shoe. I don't know what it is, but I just love it. And they're kind of cheesy and trashy and I just die for it. But I just want to say on my last point that Tom Holland and Zendaya, I know they're married and that they have sex. To me, I do not see those two together. Am I crazy? Wait, but have you watched that the karaoke video that goes around all the time? Yeah, it makes me cringe. Yeah, but like, watching Zendaya react to it and just like something gets her off for that. And it's like, it's, you know, what floats her boat and he seems very sweet. And he seems like such a nice guy and I know they love each other, but for some reason, I don't see them as like two people that are like in a romantic relationship for whatever reason. But like, they're great together. And I said that to my husband like two nights ago and he goes, what are you talking about? That's Spider-Man. I'm like, that's fine. All right. He is right. It is. It's fucking Spider-Man. Okay. So I love Spider-Man. So great. And now we're going to do some fan calls. Let's do some calls. Let's take some calls. First of all, I love you. Second of all, what are your two thoughts about flip flop heels? Because I personally hate them. And second question, just because it's summer, I'm like so over poochie summer. And like, I actually like the brand, everyone wears it and it becomes so basic. What are your thoughts on that? That accent. I like that voice. Okay. First and foremost, I always say these things and then people like hold me to it. Like, it gets very scary if I change my mind. But I do not like a song heel. I don't like a flip flop heel. I know that it like solves a lot of problems for people and it's sort of that in between that like scratches and itch. I don't like it. There's something about when I think about my foot in that shoe. I just feel like I'm galloping and I just, it seems hard and like my toes are gripping on. I feel like my toes are in the Odyssey in that shoe. I don't like that shoe. But I do have a pair of Alaya ones with fur that I bought in Paris and I hate them. I don't wear them. So I should sell those. Um, so no. And then Pucci, I'm, I'm literally asleep at the wheel. I just, I don't care at all. Like I, I just think it, if you find like a really different pattern and Pucci's obviously a legacy brand, it's been around for a long time and it's very summer. But I just think if everyone's doing it and you're fatigued, I think we need to pivot. That's how I feel about that. I also feel like everyone wearing like Pucci is like in their like late 20s is kind of like the vibe I see. I agree. I think it's a very sort of like young Santa Pay influencer and like, it's very pretty. I like Pucci. But when something is so commercial and done, I tend not to like gravitate. So if you feel like it's like tired, then just you answered your own question. You didn't even need to call it in. But I'm grateful you did. All right. Next caller. Oh my god. That was Howard Sterney. Morgan. Hello. This is Sophie. I live in Nashville. Okay. I am calling because I need every detail of your workout routine. How often you do it, what your workouts look like, how many reps you're doing, what weights we're using, and then what your diet is. Oh wow. Such a queen. Your body is so T and I need all these details. Thank you. It's so sweet. Well, that's really nice. Thank you. I appreciate that. Body, ebbs and flows, when I'm really good to my body, it's really good to me. When I'm bad to my body, it will let me know really quickly. So there's that. Even though it is genetics, like it definitely, if I eat like shit, that will show up three weeks later without question. I used to do a lot of Pilates and by a lot like twice a week and like barely like tried the second class. Now I work out with a trainer three days a week and by three, I mean two on average. Because of, I've been eating really clean the last, I don't know, five weeks. I've just been like a little bit better trying to cut back on the soda and yes, I work out with a trainer. I do weight training. I do like body, like band resistance training. I definitely do like body weight training. I just do all the things she tells me to do. I'm up and down a lot. I'm side to side a lot. I'm like flipping over a lot. I'm always starting my workouts on the treadmill for 10 minutes, which I didn't usually do. I didn't use to do because the gym didn't have one, which is a whole other problem. Which doesn't matter. They got one and I need a warm up. I'm somebody that intuitively needs to feel like my body is ready to start working out. So if you feel like you're like fatigued or kind of flat lining at the gym, like I think you need to find a way to like make your body sort of rev up before you have to get into like heavy weights or anything like that. And then diet. I really eat whatever I want whenever I want, but if I eat too much of bad stuff, it's not good. Yeah. Are you like cutting out anything? I mean, I never like cut anything out, but I like, you know, I try, like I can't have a coke every day. Like if I had one yesterday, I did. And then I had one the day before. But I want one. I won't have one today. Do you know what better about the coke? I've been a lot better because we're the fuck are the glass ones. That's another big issue in my life. I only like a short. I don't like a Mexican coke. Everyone's like, "Oh, Mexican coke. Am I right?" I'm like, "No, you're not right." I don't like a tall Coke, I like a short glass Coke like Santa, Santa with the polar bear Coke. Or I'll do a mini can. The dirtiest way to have a Coke is just cold Coke can normal size drinking it straight from the can, not even cleaning the top. That's when I'm like naughty, you're naughty girl. But that's like, that's it if I'm feeling really low. I did have in and out alone in my car for two days ago, because I went to the gas station in Westwood. And I was like, "It's right there. No one's there. I have to go." And I had with that meal, Dr. Pepper with in and out, Cream Soda, A&W Cream Soda at Mulberry Pizza Street on Canon, or South Beverly, thanked me later. Was that anything to do with fitness? For mental health, I think. Oh, mental health. By the way, that is the most. My reaction in the movie theater to alert alert and five photos that wouldn't load means that I can't go once a month with my therapist. I need to be talking to her. All done. Pew, pew, bye. Bye, guys. Tch. The Morgan Stewart Show is produced by Sirius XM and me, Morgan Stewart. Our audio engineer is Brendan Burns.
