We just did our live stream yesterday, gave away a UDK for life. I put a little poll up on Twitter. Obviously, people are in a lot of different leagues, but it looked like about 75%. A lot of people still had not drafted. That's great. That's smart. That's wise. Yeah, I mean, injuries are, they suck. It's been worse this year. No, it's actually been. Is it normal? It is normal, and I hate to say this out loud. So far. I got bad news for you, Jason. Jinxes aren't real? Yeah. What you say into the microphone right now will have no impact. Oh, really? Yeah, really. This year, the injuries have been absurdly lower than in recent history, and I'm so happy about that that there will be so few injuries for this offseason. Let's see. You think you got a lot of power? I'm going to find out this weekend. I hope I don't. Settle down, Truman. I am not joking in my Truman shows in my head. Yeah, so a lot's going on. Let's go ahead and jump right in. Performance Climbers, presented by GMC. All right. We're looking at players whose average drop position has arisen in recent, the last week or two. Keenan Allen. That one's kind of like, duh. I mean, Keenan Allen's ADP somewhere in the 14th round range. And what do we think? I hate him. You hate it? I hate it. So, so much. I realized as I've gotten. You hate Keenan Allen? I hate that Keenan Allen signed with the Colts. I love Keenan Allen. I really genuinely believe Keenan Allen's going to be their, like, number one wide receiver target right off the bat week one. And that's what I hate, because I was pretty high on Josh Downs, and the more that I've really looked at who this affects the most, it's clearly Josh Downs. Like, Tyler Warren's going to get his when Alec Pierce comes back. He's going to be on the outside. We know he's going to be on the outside. Keenan, while being a slot player through his career, he has been more of an outside guy the last couple of years with the Bears. He went and played actually 60-40 outside to inside. He can do it. And so my whole thing is, like, I wanted to see Josh Downs in two wide receiver sets, and I don't think I'm going to. No, they didn't want to. They did. They saw it. Yeah, maybe he wasn't good enough. That's the thing. It's a tough thing to ask a player to do that's been in the league for a long time that has that physical size to go and become, you know, reliable at a position you're not used to. I don't think it is solely an indictment on Josh Downs. They don't have depth. Alec Pierce is not back yet. They need another wide receiver, period. Yeah, they do. And the relationship here between Steichen and Jim Bob Cooter and Keenan Allen, like, this was. Is there a chance it's still Downs? I think there is a chance. But, Keenan. Keenan's going to get his. I mean, after this year, if he gets 50 receptions. At least 50 receptions. Book it. He moves behind Jerry Rice and Larry Fitzgerald as number three all time. That's crazy. So, he'll get his. For fantasy, where do you draft him? What do you expect he's going to do? I think if I'm in a full PPR league, Keenan Allen's going to be a definite top 24 wide receiver for the first month. I don't know, man. I think you. I think that maybe. Maybe that's the case. I don't look at Keenan Allen as a player I'm targeting in drafts personally. Me either. Because I don't target older PPR wide receivers in the super late rounds. I target young rookie upside, Concepcion, Lemon, you know, those Tyson. Tyson will be earlier. But, just anybody in that later round. Jacoby Lane, who we're going to talk about in a second. I just want a shot at seeing if I can find gold. Like, Keenan Allen. I mean, to your point. If he's good at the beginning, it will decrease with the return of Alec Pierce. Which we did just from Stephen Holder. Colts wide receiver Alec Pierce is expected to return to practice this week if all goes to plan. Well, that's great. Oh, it's funny because I saw something this morning that was an announcement that Alec Pierce won't practice today. Well, today. Both can be true. Yeah. It could still be this week. That's good, though. That's great for, I mean, they paid that guy a lot of cheddar. They did. Mike, do you see Keenan on any of your games? Any of your teams? Certain builds. I think there's definitely a point where, especially like Jay said, when you're in PPR and you're just getting those free points. But, you know, we make the joke all the time of like, he could be a boat. It's like. He can't be a boat. Keenan now might be a rowboat. Right. At this point. Which is like, you aren't going to sink. Yeah, you're not plugging holes. You're not drowning. But it's going to be a workout. Keenan or Diggs. It's going to be a workout, too. I would take Stephon Diggs. That's how I lean, too, with the opportunity with Jaden Daniels. Jacoby Lane, aforementioned Jacoby Lane, rookie wide receiver for the Baltimore Ravens. He has moved up about a round or two. He was a third round pick, 6'4", 200. I watched a lot of Jacoby Lane film over the last month and a half. Why is that? He's on my dynasty team. Don't act like your Kyle Williams excitement isn't fueled by your dynasty rostering. I love Kyle Williams. Sir, I would never. Yeah, I know how this works. But yeah, you pay a little extra close attention to players. Yeah, you do. Of course. Especially on a team like mine where I'm like, do I have any players? But to me, it's just been really exciting to watch him work. His highlights, his collegiate highlights are awesome. Jacoby Lane, you know, so far been making plays. He's one of the few guys like Pat Bryant that has made. Headlines in camp. And you have a situation now with, look, Zay Flowers got paid. Mark Andrews is older. Rashad Bateman not only has never really materialized into anything of value for fantasy, but now he's dealing with a domestic violence situation. From the summer. Yeah. Like. Yep. And so. Baltimore beat reporters. What are you doing? Whether he's. This was out there. Well, okay. I think the most recent. I mean, I thought the news broke like a week ago. Yeah. Yeah. If it were out, if it was out, I look, I, I'm pretty much the lawnmower man here. I live on the internet and I didn't see it. So they were not really getting the word out. Yeah. I mean, the, I literally had a claim in because it was like the, the day before that started going like public, there was a report. It's like, Hey, the Houston Texans are looking at trading for Kayshaun booty or Rashad Bateman. Right. I had a waiver claim in. In our dynasty league for Rashad Bateman. And then you canceled it. And then the, then it's like, Oh, this is all the sun coming out. It's like. Yeah. The news that I'm. Maybe it was out there and we all missed it. But following reports on Friday of Ravens receiver, Rashad Bateman's June arrest, the NFL started launching an investigation three days ago. So the club has been in contact with the league regarding the matter, which is under review and the personal conduct policy. He could be suspended, uh, unpaid six games. That may need to have the legal. process complete for the NFL to do that? Yeah, he won't. suspended but i'm curious does it i think does it force jacoby lane onto the field sooner rather than later because he's a third rounder we know historically the the trends are guys who are you know going that late they're just they don't play very many snaps at the beginning of the year it's towards the second half but if you are bracing that rashad bateman isn't the future he's gonna He will have his own problems in the future. Maybe we get Jacoby on the field sooner. Great quotes from the team. Jameson Hensley came out on August 8th and said, in 27 years covering the Ravens, I've never seen a rookie have a training camp like Jacoby Lane's. Every day, Lane produces a highlight-making catch, and today he has Derrick Henry leaping in the air in celebration. Declan Doyle, their offensive coordinator, what we thought about him, it just continues to show up. The guy I was around that has hands like his, that he reminds me of, is Michael Thomas. He's definitely got amazing hands. Let me ask this one. Yeah, the hype train is going. We haven't really seen any wide receiver two with Lamar Jackson be very relevant, and obviously day three picks are. Well, we've seen a wide receiver and a tight end be relevant, so is there enough catch? Two pass catchers, yeah, for sure, and this is a new offense as well, but with the data that we have of day two, and day three wide receivers starting slow, after this trade for Kayshaun Booty, a veteran who's going to almost certainly be the wide receiver two on the field, would you rather draft Booty, or would you rather draft Jacoby Lane? I don't think. I mean, I saw some stuff this morning about Booty. The team might not even see him as a starter, and so I would take the shot on the younger Jacoby Lane establishing himself in a new offense with a new head coach and offensive coordinator in system, that we don't really know what they're going to unveil, but we know that we trust Lamar Jackson more than we trust C.J. Stroud to make something out of Booty. I mean, Xavier Hutchinson could very well be the starter from day one in Houston. Booty, he's a last year of his deal, right? So do they use him? I don't know. It's also a pretty late transition to get things into gear for Houston. That's a good point, yeah. The last name in performance climbers, Mike Washington Jr., what a week it was. Yeah. Yeah. That was for Mike Washington Jr. and all the hype there. I wish we had, like, real-time data. Of just, like, his draft spot. Yeah. Here's what we'll start with with Mike Washington. This is a rookie running back for Las Vegas. Mike, you, I think, really liked what you saw on film from him. No, he was. No, it was more of the opposite of the. His metrics and stuff didn't fully match what he should be doing. Like, he's 6'1", 220, and he. He's the 1% of the 1% when it comes to athleticism. So you expected more out of him. At least I expected more out of him. And we, you know, in the process, it was, oh, boy, this guy just ran a 4-3-3. Like, he's going to get real steamed up in the draft. And he didn't. So I think that that was the part that we. That I liked of, okay, he's going to a spot where he doesn't have to be the guy right away. Because I don't think he's ready. To be, like, a full-time pro starter. It was funny when. Great preseason, though. Yes. When Jenty seemed like he went down, Underdog put out, like, how low Jenty went in some drafts and how high Mike Washington went in some drafts. And I believe Mike Washington was drafted at, like, 37 overall. Holy balls. What? Yeah, and it's. It's. What? I want to. It's the combination of the exciting long speed play in the preseason. With, oh, you're the only guy. You're the full-time starter somehow. But this is, like, this is a very bad situation. A team that you don't expect to score a lot. And, you know, a day three running back without production. His profile isn't really good. Like, A.J. Dillon, it reminds me of that a lot. Where it's like, A.J. Dillon had a combine like Derrick Henry. Yeah. But he's not Derrick Henry. Or he would have been in college. Mike Washington has a combine like the best of them. But his, you know, is. Well, let's do the exercise, then. Yeah. Okay. Let's pretend Jenty did have a season-ending injury. Where does he actually belong in terms of starters? And I think you start to have that conversation. You have it right around the Bayshall-Tooten area. Because if you knew Mike Washington was going to be a starter, you know, Tootin, Price, Warren, Stevenson, these are committee situations. I think Washington would be a committee as well. But I think what you're saying is right. But then it was compounded by the long runs and success in the preseason. And the explosives. Those physical gifts on display. I mean, I'm sure you're taking them over Chuba. I'm sure you'd probably take them as a starter. Would you take them over Ramondre or Warren? I mean, probably. I don't think so. I think I would rather have the better offense. Maybe Warren. Ramondre is on a good offense. And Warren is a. I think I would take Warren ahead as well. Do you think Mike Washington deserves to be drafted? Yes. You do? Yeah. Because right now. Because he's a high-level. You know, insurance situation? Well, at the very least right now, I mean, week one, Jenty is rumored to not. We don't know that he's going to be back for week one. The last I saw is. It's potential. He misses week one. So this is where. And the last was like, we're hearing it's a low ankle sprain. Right. As compared to high. Which would be good. Which that's. But that's the thing is, we're hearing. Why can't we get an official? Because they don't have to really report that. And Mike Washington deserves to be drafted. The preseason has been solid. There's a chance that Jenty misses time. And based off of what this is. I'm not saying Jenty won't be like the man for the Raiders. But it's like based off of what Kubiak just did in Seattle, Mike Washington might be in the plans to be someone who's getting like 35% to 40% of some rushing attempts here. If you build zero RB, this is such. That's exactly the. Kyle Gere and Mike Washington, those like guys who. For week one. Yeah, exactly. Like they might be great starters if those are your. And if it is a high ankle sprain, like he'll be out multiple weeks. And then Jenty won't be ready to go on that first, like the first couple of weeks. That was Performance Climbers brought to you by GMC. We are professional grade. We're going to take a break real quick. And then we're going to come back and do some news. Get into the mailbag. We'll be right back. We'll be right back. Not our fault. Yeah. Kayshaun. When Kayshaun requested a trade, it was like you signed Romeo Dobbs. He was upset, for sure. Yeah, you signed Romeo Dobbs and then you get a trade for A.J. Brown. You're like, oh, I don't have the opportunity to thrive. He doesn't want to be there. He wants a place where he can. And then with the injury for the Texans, it's like, okay, he's at least got the opportunity. Maybe Hutchinson starts the season as the second wide receiver. I think Booty will overtake second half. In Booty's mind, he's got the. How many times can you say Booty in one minute? In Kayshaun Booty's mind, I think he's excited about the opportunity to thrive in a situation where he doesn't have to overtake two other people ahead of him. Here's something that's not been said, and it'll open up opportunities for Kyle Williams and Demario Douglas and some other pass catchers. What's wild to me is that we're sitting here. This is the team that went to the Super Bowl and the Patriots. All their schedule notwithstanding, amazing season, MVP candidate in Drake May. And two of his primary targets last year that were significant contributors to this team were Kayshaun Booty and Stephon Diggs that are gone. The pass catchers are great names with Dobbs and A.J. Brown, but we actually haven't seen them together, right? So it's just a little bit unique to me to have a top five offense passing-wise, reset all of your pass catchers, and then expect it to just work perfectly. From day one, I thought somebody shared a tweet, and I put it in the chat somewhere. Maybe you guys can find it. It was basically something I would love to actually see for all the teams. And when people speculate about preseason numbers, I tell you I hate completion percentage. They should be trying new stuff. They should be failing in preseason. I hate it when they go through and they're like, You mean in camp? In camp, yes. But the numbers of like, it was a list of the reception. by pass catchers from New England. - Oh yeah, caught from Drake May. from drake may in the entire training camp and it was like aj brown was number one dobbs was number two remandre was number three hunter henry was number four like booty was way up on that list he was he was not as high but yeah it was uh aj brown romeo dobbs remandre stevenson demario douglas hunter henry then kate sean booty um don't worry travion's there just below eli raridon um but i would love to see that from every every team to get a little bit of an idea of where these guys are going regularly in camp like you want to ask me who the pass catchers to to roster are i mean it's brown and dobbs and dobbs is not getting nearly enough talk on a team that was a top tier passing percentage offense we're sitting there aj brown like dobbs is sitting right there i i agree i think the the news on dobbs has just been kind of weird of there's been a couple days where it was like oh hey it's romeo dobbs day but it kind of few and far between and then aj brown gets there and you know i there was talk at the beginning of they're not fully connecting but the stuff i've been reading lately is very very positive for aj brown it's for dobbs it's like how do they how do they actually put these wide receivers you know on the field is it the just standard okay we got brown and dobbs are going to be on the outside and then douglas will just be the slot player or are they going to move romeo dobbs where he'll get to do he'll play some big slot i think they've been i because that would be i believe they've been moving him around to be a little bit of the big slot which you see in the second you know target pecking order from camp that that role is very valuable historically from the patriots so uh i i'm i'm open to dobbs like another name where it's like he's not fun jacoby lane i would rather have dobbs on the uh on the booty to houston side i have so i have no interest in any way shape and form for kashon booty in houston from a fantasy perspective he was on one of the best passing offenses in football last year played a ton of snaps for them and still you know he had his splash games but consistency wise it was it was trouble it was he's touched down her boss yeah to me it's just that's a tough thing to ask of c. j stroud and a defense and a running game offense i don't know i just i don't care i think booty will be if anything he's just he'll be on the waiver show when hutchinson inevitably is overtaken breeze hall on track to play week one he was dealing with the groin must have must have butterflied stretch uh by the way we we did an embarrassing butterfly stretch analysis of all staff members yesterday some of you papa josh impressive papa josh must have tore those groins as a young man doesn't have them anymore no restrictions knees to the ground but on the other hand al borland has work to do i do uh not a not a butterfly that could really get off the ground i don't think you know what i mean i'm doing a lot of catapulting those wings yeah you could you got a lot of crisscross applesauce going on hey oh yeah no i love chairs uh the news about ashton jenny's chair ankle sprain more low than high that's hopefully more low than high that's it's such a weird the high versus low is like different ligaments i don't it's not literally like a a percentage of direction i don't get it trayvon henderson has been diagnosed with a low right ankle injury and will undergo further precautionary tests malik neighbors was wearing a non wasn't wearing a non-contact jersey on monday's practice reasonable to assume he will be ready for week one according to john harbaugh that's big news jacori christ kumara injured is growing yeah thank you uh sorry that was honestly embarrassing at this time well i was cannot be i was reading because we have in monday's practice but i think i had read something that had actually happened last thursday rashad white returned to individual drills so there's a little flippy floppy of availability for the running back room trey benson set free by the play yesterday he had one play with arizona that accounted for 11.5 percent of his total yards on the team ever that's how utilized he was in arizona dude could not stay healthy well i mean year one he was buried behind james connor who at that point was still playing very good football and then he couldn't stay healthy this was if you're a benson believer like i am this was the only way forward it's i mean we're it's probably over but if he stayed on the cardinals there was no path at all michael floor said monday jeremiah love is progressing in his recovery from a high ankle sprain and will remain sidelined this week is that now i know the rumors were the high ankle had does that like an actual confirmation of it i don't know okay i saw reported as high ankle but i did too but i thought it was they were like we're not sure because they're not saying anything i'm assuming there's also degrees well it's more high than low yeah i just mean like there's got to be a worse or better yes there are great ankle spray and grade wise uh we had a mild setback for keaton mitchell who had missed practice on sunday and monday i mean he was flashing in the preseason they want to utilize him but if he can't stay healthy which has been a problem for keaton mitchell true and he missed an entire year in baltimore and had other injuries that's something to pay attention to you would love omari and hampton to get some pass catching third down work that would be going to keaton mitchell to concentrate it a little bit that's the biggest concern brian thomas jr is quote all right after falling on his shoulder there was some news reports this morning that all right all right all right all right that he was down and people were worried and then um this is exciting this is terrible news for michael penix kevin stefanski said michael penix and tua tongue of ilo will split first team reps on monday i saw the stats penix you got to have a setback brother penix was four for eight so you can start yeah and tua was over three yeah yeah so that man that is um oh boy what they wouldn't do for should do or sanderson am i right and then alan robinson the target monster the last time you over here i say that officially retiring uh he was a my guy for mike in 2015 yes he was jacksonville that is that was a good one he led the league in touchdowns yeah that was a great that was a pro bowl year for alan robinson alan robinson great player thank you for the uh didn't have the career i think we might have hoped from that point no no he didn't but the target monster was awesome he got me uh i believe league of record championship that year you have yes he had that play down the sideline i think where saints yeah i think you said you i was in my boxers high kicking in the living room yeah yes sir i remember the title is mine i guess you remember it too huh let's do some mailbag mailbag mailbag if you have a question for the show go to the website the fantasy footballers.com click the submit a question button or dial our voicemail hotline we have a couple voicemails today 302464 tffb we'll start with one of those hey ballers uh just wanted a quick question on a keeper that i have uh in an upcoming league should i keep cam scataboo with my ninth round pick or should i keep quinshawn judkins with my 16th round pick thanks love the show man that's such a good question cam scataboo for a ninth quinshawn judkins for a 16th it i think you've got to start with just who do you like more because the ninth round is where you know that's where i'll start taking quarterbacks i'll start taking uh my my late tight ends because the running backs and wide receivers there are are you know they're not exactly the guys that are high odds to be good so if you if you're like definitely on the scataboo side you're going to have to start with just who do you like more because you're i don't think the value from 9 to 16 is worth switching but the question is which side are you on right now with the recent kind of vibes that it's not going to be the scataboo show they bring in naji they you know the way that they've been talking it just doesn't seem like he's going to be a three down back although tyrone tracy feels like he has really he's a zero down back oh man i mean his what happened his pre-season i'll take cam here oh and then you're mr judkins yeah i'll take cam here because you know what you can talk a big game about not giving the ball to cam scataboo a lot but when your alternative is to hand it to devin singletary tyrone tracy or the often achilles naji harris who by the way this is not naji from five years ago that was you know more even five years ago wasn't great exactly that's my point is like we hear the name naji we're like oh my gosh what a threat like last year this was the naji was the threat and then we're like oh my gosh what a threat and then we're like oh my gosh what a threat and then to hampton right and so i think when push comes to shove and this team needs to get going three four weeks into the season i i'd be shocked if scatter who doesn't have the workload i hope you are correct i don't have a ton of faith in the coaching staff uh up in new york to make real good decisions with their their offense uh but of these you want to know a little bonus to picking cam here please you don't have to watch watson yeah that's a look i'm it's camp scataboo the giants i think the giants are going to be a good team this year right i i don't know that we're going to necessarily love how naggy implements everything but i i think their defense is underrated and i i believe that you know we haven't seen them with this many good offensive weapons in a while dart if he's the real thing you know didn't get neighbors has neighbors didn't have cam has really wish they still had wandale i feel like that's the missing piece of that team is i wish they had wandale neighbors likely cam i i hope that like malachi fields and some of these other guys can step up that's just the one thing that sticks out but um yeah i hope you're right it'd be fun right yeah are you taking cam or judkins i'm gonna i'm gonna take scataboo i i believe that he's just so talented and i judkins i worry won't have the pass catching role whereas scataboo is such a good pass catcher hey ballers this is dan and south and i want to see if you guys think i'm overreacting i'm thinking about trading judkins or remind a stevenson but stevenson being on what i feel is going to be a much better offense i'm going to take scataboo and i'm going to take cleveland what do you guys think about that i appreciate it love the show so this is a trade quinshawn judkins for remandre so i would at first i would say i don't think you're overreacting to believe the patriots offense will be better than the cleveland browns i'll start with that one i don't think that's his overreaction it's just are you going as far as saying i would rather i mean basically yeah you draft remandre ahead of judkins here's the here's one thing i will mention to you when you think about this on a points per game basis stevenson was better than judkins last year yeah 11.6 to 11.2 fancy points per game it's remandre i don't think there's anything wrong with taking remandre he just oh there's plenty wrong i have the back-to-back in my rankings right now who do you have higher i've got quinshawn judkins a spot higher than remandre right now yeah i mean i think it's i think that's a like jason said pick the guy you like the most there i don't think that's a problem if you have more conviction around goal line opportunities for remandre because watson hasn't sniffed the goal line in five years we we talk about you know when you're in a tier that's when you use tiebreakers and if you want to use the team the environment as the tiebreaker great do it we did get a fun little update from jordan renan over there in new york the unofficial giant depth chart for the finale just got released cam scataboo the starter but listen to this here's the backup the backup is the rb2 is tyrone tracy or naji harris or devin singletary that's the list of brother perfect have some backbone green play who knows who the backup is the backups don't you can't tell tracy he's the backup no can uh his or his preseason has first letting jackson dart die on the field because of entirely your fault and then fumbling in the red zone the next week not not a good one no it's not a good one it's not not great um there you go all right our next question comes in from preston in utah if you draft josh allen is it worth targeting dj more later in the draft to get that stack yeah i i think so i i'm a i'm a big fan of you're in now i'm not necessarily in in the sense that like i'm not personally taking a lot of dj more i see i'm i'm not completely opposed like i'm not i was earlier he's looked really good in camp you know it seemed like at his age he had lost it with the bears changing teams to a team that can do it without him we you know they've they've done it the last couple years it seemed very uphill sledding to have dj more work out however this offseason dj more's looked really good and i mean i know we've gotten duped in the past from alan robinson looking great in camp and then he doesn't have it so i'm fine letting dj more go but if i were to have already drafted josh allen that's the that's the place where i take dj more personally would you go would you rather do that or would you just wait and have like a dalton kincaid josh allen stack i mean i those are both things in the back of my mind i think i prefer that manager in our upcoming draft is this like to split the difference on like with kincaid or goddard or all those later round tight ends it's like that'd be awesome to have the stack it'd be awesome to take a shot on dj more if he's around late i feel like he's going to get ignored in a lot of drafts i mean that could be an underrated stack for sure you're in the late fifth or in the uh the early six i'm trying to pull up 80p real quick because it's what what is your opportunity cost to buy that stack you're talking you're passing on probably not a lot jmo williams wait what luther burden bashal tootin jadarian price oh i i might not have dj more yeah that's your name you shouldn't have said any of that stuff like if you take fifth round it's late fifth early sixth round they're talking uh this is sleeper adp yeah dj more needs to be back of the sixth yes yes so more like you're you're so start saying bad stuff maybe not force it i'm definitely not forcing that um and and to answer your other question i would rather do the dalton because i i believe in dalton kincaid at the position all right uh that's a name instagram question from big neck officer uh big neck officer is this is this is a big neck officer davis mills maybe well that's tall neck that's you wouldn't call it a big neck i that's a good question i would i think a big neck is more like you know why girthy yeah brock doesn't really have a neck brock lesnar is more yeah yeah yeah traps who's the uh the the eagles security guy oh i can't think of his name i know what you're talking about um big dom yeah but the question is how many say big dim you idiots yeah and you tried to delete it before i saw it what he typed that yeah it's just a typo i'm sorry it's a typo he types like he thinks you understand a typo like big big dom to big dim is a it's a pretty big deal is your hair all wet no what are you doing why are you are you practicing dance moves why are you so sweaty oh man matthew this is great what are you doing back there youtube.com slash the fantasy footballers he's trying to lean so hard to get out of frame is it because of the the sweat no it's a it's a new look it's a new thing that my stylist and oh now i feel bad no it looks great it's supposed to dry eventually but it hasn't in an hour or two they were like put this oil in yeah all right from this angle it's more of a hairnet but anyways um how many games into the nfl season do you think a team has shown you who they really are oh that's a great question we may have to compensate for some of what we do to the deucers with a deucer of the day award or something i i think we're gonna give it to matt that's fine i'd like to talk about you are the deucer of the day the first ever deucer of the day congratulations we'll be back to talk about you some more yeah now that you're the deucer of the day you can take it just nominates you for the whole show to get ripped yes oh congratulations congratulations on such an honor how many games into the nfl season does it take for a team to show you who they really are gosh i will i'm gonna say i got my number i'm gonna you want to write it down yeah well let me you write your number down but i'm gonna give one thought which is um the colts last year but i guess that was in that was laundry all right i've got my i got my number like trends and just like momentum and stuff i think that can ebb and flow but to know who that team is all right my number is oh mike wrote 10 i went 10 oh i went six i went four okay uh i think after the first month not the teams can't change to get better like i remember that's why i need more like i've seen i think four is too few for me remember when the denver broncos were like six and oh or seven oh and then they didn't make the playoffs you know like that was the uh mcdaniel year but those are outliers i was just gonna bring up when the chiefs were oh and five and made the playoffs that was like they really changed course yeah and so i need 10 but by the end of the year they are something different than they were at the beginning of the year let's uh put it to the test okay four weeks into last year do you want to look at where we oh well that's neat we have that information it exists a little bit uh oh man bills are four and oh oh man yeah i don't think you're gonna get good information i wouldn't do it i don't think it's the right data kyle says 17 we do know through 17 games um yeah i should be i should be on it kyle's on it yeah he's he's yeah i'm busy hosting the show i can't get good data um but yeah for me it's like six but i was leaning more towards the high side maybe eight i think after six is like you can you're starting to figure it out the schedules can be just really complimentary or tough like the broncos are they gonna are we gonna know who the broncos are through four weeks yeah the broncos the jaguars the patriots they get off to really tough starts but i i also think you have to for fantasy purposes you've got to kind of make an early judgment you don't want to do too early none of us wrote down like hey you just need to see them play twice uh i my point was i don't think you can do it before four like oh totally but after four you've got to start making those judgment calls of who's a great defense who's you know the offense it's tough because if you wait 10 you know you've got a couple it's not a lot of information yeah you got a couple weeks left before fantasy i was looking at the question more of like who do i like the team do i actually believe that this team is going to make noise We'll take a break. We've got some more questions. all right brett writing in is there such a thing as over mock drafting i've done 100 since may please don't judge me no judgment judgment free zone here um i don't think so unless you're annoying your servers i i think the danger could be that mock drafts are are a tremendous tool to kind of get you ready for things but you know that in your live draft you're gonna have at least two wild cards where a and you know when like a pick here or there in the second or third round really changes the the trajectory so if you're like i've done this a hundred times i'm locked in i know that this is the range weird stuff happens here's uh i do have the standings after four weeks okay all right uh last year buffalo was four and on new england was two and a half and i'm locked in i know that this is the range weird stuff happens here's uh two and two okay i'm just gonna read like the top two of every division sure pittsburgh three and one cincinnati two and two baltimore was one and three that was that changed um indianapolis three and one jacksonville three and one chargers three and one denver two and two uh philly four and a washington two and two so i mean take some time yeah detroit three and one green bay two and one tampa three and one atlanta two and two san fran three and one seattle three and one rams three and one cardinals two and two wow there's never one another game i think the rest of the year that was crazy uh stack attack question from uh gunderson what's an underrated stack to watch for when drafting we just talked about i mean i think dj more with josh allen is an underrated stack tyler shuck is free stack if you get a lava and you want to wait on a quarterback why not take that shot i'm i'm for it the man the jordan tyson injury is such a bummer for tyler shuck although it's a clearer stack now oh of course i'm just saying that the tyler shuck being free was oh man it was going to feed families yeah you were you were very in on him for fantasy this year i don't think it's still gonna happen at all i i think it can happen in the first half too i i do believe that what we saw last year you know he didn't have his pace his starter pace of 4200 yards yeah exactly and that he didn't have jordan tyson then one touchdown and coming into uh year two i i like that stack i i i did a tweet of my stacks uh including like the adp value in order and in little tiers i accidentally left shuck and olave off and that was that was my mistake my the one that i'm going for that i like the value of right now if i can get i like neighbors in the third and dart in the ninth man it is playing with fire because both of those guys you know malik neighbors coming off the acl does he start slow is it a problem jackson dart i mean andy's bust pick like you could see how that doesn't work out uh matt nagy but at the same time i feel like both guys are in a range where they represent value where if malik neighbors is healthy and and has his best season he is he does not belong anywhere near there where jackson dart has his good version of us he doesn't belong anywhere near there like these are both guys that could seriously out produce their adp where do you so you know we we bring up the hey draft is late as you possibly can there are a few players where it it does help the drafter early if you had the courage to do it because it's like malik in the third i i think when when like this the huge drafts are coming this weekend and some even next weekend he's not going in the third he'll be in the second people will go early second round on malik neighbor so that's an adp like if you're looking at that you know i think rubbing your hands thinking you're going to get malik neighbors in the third i think that is incorrect i think well let's let's just look here because right now you've got i i doubt he goes above the uh aj brown drake london tier what would he could he sneak about i bet i bet there's leagues he goes above drake london uh nico collins george pickens so so if that's the case if he's in that area people are going to be willing to do that it's basically the two three turn yeah you're at the back of the two um more than likely and and yeah i agree that's where he'll go in every league yeah just someone will reach just want people be aware don't be thinking he'll come back around the rest of your league is salivating looking at that adp trying to get a steal i'll bring up bo nix and jalen waddle you know the uh the case was made uh just earlier for for bo nix being a true value in the draft where bo nix was very close to being a my guy for me if it wasn't for the first six weeks schedule right so i dude we all can see that like how can it be worse than where he's being drafted yes he's going in the late 10th which is this is an afterthought and then i'll stack in with jalen waddle who remains one of my favorite picks in the in fantasy right now uh one thing we were talking about before the show is that there are certain players that are they have like some players are like kind of guaranteed to produce on some level some players are full like maybe that wild card category where they could be like i was saying travion like travion could be three things he could yes he can he could be worthless for your team yep he could be a flex worthy player and he could win your league if he got the opportunity he could be a flex worthy player and he could win your league if he got i look at dart do that lens do you agree with that i definitely agree with that dart could fall on his face and be worthless and he could be a league winner so i have a couple other names see if you guys agree on them having three possible outcomes like all the way i love the extreme bus all the way up to extreme league winner bucky irving do you think that that's the case i don't i don't i don't see league winning i don't either okay i think it's established that the past catching role is gainwell's now what about jadarian price yes yeah so all three ranges yeah if the the guy which come on yeah dude i a thing that will bring me such joy and i get it i'm sorry it will be it it'll be fantasy misery for people if george holani is keeping jadarian price off the field because this is just what seattle does yeah and and living my life of of charbonnet keeping ken walker off the field it will bring me some some sick sense of morbid pleasure yeah i'll feel pretty okay about it in fantasy like that that you're just like i don't want to see you fail but right um i would rather price just take the job price could be all three yeah agreed rj harvey uh i don't think he can be the league winner because i i think if slash when jk dabas misses some games i i think it goes to coleman like coleman is now to the point of the drum beat and the hype like he's making me more nervous about the jk dobbins pick right harvey i don't give two farts about rj harvey he's not taking he's not he's not overtaking dobbins and getting a whole bunch of work if coleman is as good as we thought he was going to be and then the coaches believe he is the guy that is a transition that could happen yeah i i think that rj harvey has a higher ceiling than we have been giving him credit for but i agree it's not a league like if harvey's catching 40 passes what did he what he catch last year probably probably near there yeah probably in the 40s let's see so because he finished at rb 21 yeah he caught 47 and five receiving touchdowns so i guess he would have to be more up in like the high 50s or 60s three more names that i'm at i wonder if you see them in all three categories as potential bust potentially just good and potentially league winner parker washington definitely i don't think he can bust i do oh i do okay i don't okay i think that he is solid interesting to great did you guys see the new uniform reveal i love theirs oh the the jaguars it's the rival uniforms oh it's not about it's not about the uniforms oh is it parker in the center parker is dead center and it's not like in a line it's a v where parker's in the front everyone is flying everyone is behind parker he's sitting there front and center like those are always it's not even trev no no horse boy it's yeah the horse boy too tall they had to put the tall people in the back yeah short in the front it makes sense but um i do i do i do think parker washington could bust simply because of how many mouths there are to feed but i also he's that's interesting he scares me as he scares me as a on the league winning side two more i love i love these one quarterback one tight end you ready one quarterback one tight end kyler murray oh man yes i i will put my face back in the woodshedder for kevin o'connell disgusting yeah the only jj mccarthy's the only quarterback who well brosmer but brosmer didn't just belong to be on the the field it's like you got value out of the the the shell that is carson wentz and that you let him be destroyed and he was still still giving you production we we talked a lot on this episode about stacks and you know we've been a little bit worried about justin jefferson at least yellow flags for where he's going in the first round it's like and i'm still there and i'm still there too but i was thinking about this if justin jefferson works like let's say justin jefferson's awesome meaning he's a top three wide receiver where he has been most of his career yep the jefferson kyler stack is is going to be the best one in football so that's you know if you grab justin jefferson in the first even if you have another quarterback maybe like use your last pick because kyler's i mean borderline undrafted right now in in single quarterback leagues he I think he could go high but doubtful Dalton Kincaid yeah I I do think so I think that there's a world where he jumps to the elite if he gets the the opportunities he's obviously been great on a per route run and in there is definitely I mean we've seen it year after year where absolutely worthless yeah those picks are interesting you really don't want a bunch of those on your team I think I think it's good to have one maybe two players that you spin the draft pick and you're like they might not start for me yeah they could also be tremendous I think it's a matter of where the cost is yeah you know if you're talking about double digit round cost on guys like you know if Dalton Kincaid makes it to the 10th and Kyler is free and I'll take shots on them like crazy all right do you guys know what tomorrow is oh my Atlanta it's Wednesday Wednesday it is Wednesday middle of the week big day what day is it Mike Mike Mike Mike Mike yeah you think you think Mike doesn't know when FAQs

The Megaloball is the largest fantasy football tournament on earth, with over 21,000 participants last year. You can sign up at Megaloball.com for drafts running from September 4th through September 8th, hosted on Sleeper.

Prizes include a chance to win a spot in the 2027 Listener League, an Ultimate Foot Clan subscription for life, and the pride of winning the largest league.

Keenan Allen is expected to be the Colts' number one wide receiver target, which reduces Josh Downs' opportunities, especially in two-receiver sets. Allen's presence, along with Alec Pierce's return, likely limits Downs' fantasy value.

Opinions vary: he could be a top-24 receiver in full PPR early in the season, but his production may decline once Alec Pierce returns. Many prefer targeting younger, high-upside rookies in later rounds over Allen.

Jacoby Lane has had an impressive training camp, with beat reporters praising him highly. With Rashad Bateman facing a potential suspension, Lane could see increased playing time sooner, making him a promising late-round draft pick.

Most prefer Jacoby Lane due to his youth and potential in a new offense, while Boutte's role with the Texans is uncertain and he may not even start. Trust in Lamar Jackson also makes Lane the more appealing option.
