And it looks as if though after that huge win last night against Dallas, that the scumbag Bruins have punched their ticket to the playoffs. Unless something catastrophic happens, they have punched their ticket. And I called them the, what was I calling them before the fucking before the seasons, the shit bag Bruins, I believe I was calling them. Not mentioned. Did they may have punched their ticket? They're going to be a fucking issue in the playoffs. I wouldn't want to play them the way Swamonds playing the way that they're playing like the 2011 Bruins. But I think that, you know, some of the moves that that went down probably look bad on his resume. And, and where I guess enough to relieve him of his duties, I'm kind of, I don't know where it goes from here or who you hire or maybe if you bump up one of the assistant GMs, uh, I don't know who is in consideration, but I've kind of obviously anticipating something might happen. There's a reason why I put my ambassador jacket to the rafters. Um, I've done. The announced that I've, I've, I've put my name in the ring. Let's say the basement. I guess for the ducks, it was a big game, but further. for the core and I guess the Toronto Maple Leafs pride, it was a big game. All of a sudden the news breaks that tree-living's fired and it's just been such hard timing to me because I don't get why maybe they didn't know they were going to do this but what changed like in the last month to months where now it was like it has to be done now as opposed to the end of the year and we decide we're going to let tree run the deadline. Do you agree with that? Yeah, I don't know and like it could be as silly as like they did it right before the game against Anaheim so like there was something else to talk about like over the news cycle like again you give me that look but that's the only explanation I have. I don't know why they would literally do it like right around that time. So I don't know I will say though like as much as you want to blame tree like listen I think that chief is obviously an incredible coach. He was incredible player. He has so much respect. I would love to chat with him like off record just to be like you know what did you think of the coaching job and you know I know that they lost Mariner and that was a big loss for him and I know that he was a big Mariner guy. I thought the way that he distributed the ice time and the way that he he like I guess the lack of empowering other guys. He helped these scratch Michele how many times like Robertson like never really got a fair shake bobby McMahon like like you're telling me that guy couldn't play in a consistent top six like 18 minutes of game. Look what he's doing and fucking look what he's doing in Seattle. I think he had more I think he's had more breakaways in Seattle every time I look at a goddamn clip the guys get a breakaway goal. So he's had more breakaways there in the in the three four weeks he's been there. Then he had the maybe his whole time in Toronto never played three on three overtime never like like I think that there could have been a lot of different situations as far as the way that that players were played. They also dealt with their fair share injuries. This year was a brutal year. I forgettable year for William Neelander in my opinion as good as maybe as it started out you know if you think he flipped off the cameras in the press box he or a fucking tank top another game in the press box. He looks to be a guy who's just going through the motions making 11 and a half million knowing that he's got no problems in life. And and I'll tell you I saw Kiprio's talking about this had intermission against the ducks and Max Domey. We can get into that in a sec. He fights gooties so weird. Gooties didn't fight back. I feel like that's just like like as happy and proud of him of Max Domey and obviously gooties playing through injury in order to answer the bell. He was wearing a walking boot the day before. I feel like that's like fairly minor in comparison to the overall story. Oh no that was just like no I'm just kind of like ranting here for a second but you brought up Neelander and later in the game he kind of gives like a cross check to the Anaheim goalie or like bumps into him and then Mittnikov or somebody one of the ducks defense comes over and Eastern count comes ballman in and like berries the guy like exactly what you want to see. And and Kiprio's pointed this out Neelander just kind of gets up slow. There's a scrum. He doesn't even get in the mix at all. It's just like oh man I know you mentioned him and I just thinking of as I think you said he nailed it off year it is a bad year. He starts the scrum after considering it's that type of game and we're well aware of what needs to happen in the game against Anaheim to kind of like make up for lost time on on the lack of response for often awesome athletes being done for the season. And that's kind of the effort they get like I mean I was also there in St. Louis the other night. He was not very good and he was fucking the dog a little bit. And I think he was asked about it and he basically said like you know I have I you know I have my fair share of comments but I'm going to keep them to myself. Um, I just like, I, I think that GM, I guess has a little bit more control where the president more of, is like at the round table and like giving his strong opinion. That's where I think he would be valuable at this point. I think that like having him isn't like an assistant GM, at least to start. I mean, Adam to the six, six they already have six, seven, six and um, but yeah, I mean like the guy, the guy's seen it all. I agree with that. I just don't know how easy it is to step into like a role like that. If you don't have that much experience, right? Yeah. No, I don't, I don't think there's something that Chris Prongerig has not seen in the NHL and he pays attention to the league still he has since he retired. I, I just don't see a world that where if he's running your team, where he, that's actually that's lead. The Leafs call it. I could have been answer that. Oh, it's penalty pick up. He's like, did I just hear you mentioned the Montreal Canadians? Is that a new team? Is that a new team? They said they weren't expanding. They have two billion dollars to expand. Kipper mentioned Ryan Getzlov's name as an interesting name. He's been working I believe in Nashville's front office or for the past few years. Uh, but that's, he said, we also want to keep an eye on Chris Pronger and Ryan Getzlov to others being discussed for front office jobs who don't have the same kind of executive experience. I don't think any Leafs fan would be like upset if they hired Chris Pronger as GM. I think they would see look at this. What this guy did as a player. Yes, he does have a little bit of experience outside of it. Like I wouldn't. It's just like I said, you like like tree and people would say, oh, what did he do? Oh, law, right? Like bad, maybe some bad trades like he was assisted in in Phoenix. We had success there when he was there. He went to Calgary and then obviously then Toronto. So like, it's like he's been around doing it, not saying that necessarily makes you successful. But I, you know, I don't think he's, I don't, I also don't think he's the fucking worst guy behind the wheel. There's some tough trades there. You also don't understand what is, is being controlled by the upper hand theater. Like I don't know. I don't know if some of the stuff he wants to do is like, no, we can't do that. All we can't do this. Like maybe they wanted to trade Mariner before his no move cause kicked in. Like, oh, no, you can't do that. He's a local kid and he sells tickets. Like I don't know. All use a data combined with cultural checks. So I don't, that's where I think he's losing a lot of people. Like you're bringing up our MLS team Toronto FC. Like this is the Toronto Maple Leafs. Yes, it's all MLS. But if you compare the, um, the importance to people in Ontario and around Canada and around North America who love the Leafs, I, I don't think that the Leafs and Toronto FC are, are really like that compatible. Or do you think it was more, he didn't have the chance to throw a punch because he didn't throw one punch. I heard Chetty, you know, Chetty, the kid upper decky guy. He said it looked like a gang initiation in the crypts way. You're not allowed to fight back and you just have to take your beaten, but I honestly think he, he, he just took his licking. But I'd be interested to ask Goody's off, like off camera, or, or I guess you could, yeah, as if you're that close to them. Like, hey, what, what was the deal with that? Going back to tree boys, like, sometimes it's like, like, he's my guy, right? So if you're like, Oh, you're not being critical enough on him. Like he made some bad trades and like he was not good. It wasn't a good tenure in Toronto. Well, that's your fucking opinion. Like you want either of you guys can step up and say it. I tend to protect my guys the same way I go to bat for talk it on here. You don't just get a job in Toronto just because just to hand you a job. Like you have to earn that and he earned it. And you know, I think he'll get another job. I think he'll do a great job and maybe going to a place that doesn't have as much media presence or whatever the case is because I would imagine being the GM of that team is going to be a lot of sleepless nights. It's almost going to be like working in as like a mayor or something like that where you're always on call. Well, there's a guy that is not always on call and he's in Ottawa. And this is the Linus Hallmark story. And this is just bizarre. I tweeted about this last night. I was on the plane. And we forgot to mention on the show on that we recorded on Sunday that Saturday night, big game. I mean, every game right now for auto was a playoff game. Omar decides he can't play. We didn't talk about this. We didn't talk. We actually put this one on ice, because we didn't know how to shake out. And I'm kind of kind of glad we did. So he decides he's not able to play. All right. Then the news breaks and Ottawa fans, I think there, I think they're sick and tired of it. And listen, I'm not sitting here and saying mental health is not real at all. I can't imagine what this guy's gone through. I feel for him. It's brutal. And there's been people in my family who've struggled with depression and it's a horrible thing to have to battle that stuff, right? But at some point here, you're making big dough. You're the guy that the team needs right now. They need you most. You got to be willing to play hockey right now. You got to be willing to get in there and play. And then to come back against Florida on Tuesday night, he gives up five goals on 15 shots. He gave up a goal. He gave up the first two shots. The Panthers took when I'm the net. That was the hockey gods, Ryan. Yeah. And listen, there's going to be a lot of people. Oh, mental health, mental. I'm not denying the fact that it can be an enormous struggle for guys. But fuck me, boys. Like, this is, this is a team that is relying on you. You have your family in the locker room, and you're already got it and he already got it and it's not game 37 and he played two days later. You're in a playoff battle right now and he busy right he got the break already and now it's like I mean, and the fans and I don't blame the fans like they're disgusted. They're like, this is an absolute joke. All we've needed is a few saves and then I found his game a little bit and then something else comes up and you're sitting there pretty much at not asking up but saying, I can't go. I've been in a locker room. You guys have as well, judge me all you want. If you got a guy that your team needs and you find out before the puck drop that he's like, no, I can't play. It is deflating and it is really hard to deal with as a teammate because we're all laying and are on the line for you and I'm sorry you're going through this stuff, but get in here and get in the fight with us right now. And it's just been, I feel for Ottawa Senators fans and I feel for the rest of the team. Yeah, like if you, I guess if you talked to goalies of the past, they'd look at how much these goalies are playing and they'd fucking laugh them off stage, right? Patrick, what I said something like that is you're right. I think yeah, I think he's like the mind, the mind is a lot weaker than the body. It's just basically the mind-telt playing tricks on you and obviously those types of guys were able to overcome it. And I guess back then just the expectation was if you were a starter, you had that dog mentality and you wanted the net, you know, 65, 70 games a year, if not even a little bit more. I bet you patty was playing in the 70 to 72 range most years. And the thing that I guess was the most surprising was is he did get that break and then he didn't play in the Olympics. So then he had another like basically three, four weeks off there. And then if you look at the schedule that led up to this game March 31st, like there was only one situation like I'll start with in March 3rd when things kicked back or sorry, he played like February 2nd right before the Olympic break, then the 26th of February 28th, then March 3rd, March 5th, March 7th, March 11th, the 14th, then the 15th he played. So that was the only back-to-back that he's played since coming back from the Olympics. And every other time he's gotten either two, if not three, and in some cases four days off to play a game. And boys, they've been down a couple de-men too and you got their de-men basically going four to five guys playing, you know, 25 to 30 minutes a night. So it's hard in that situation to not be like buddy, like what is going on here? And unless there's something we don't know where maybe he had a tweak growing, I think if that if that was the case, the team would have came out and said something and protected a little bit more, but I would imagine that it's just, it's probably frustration from the coaching staff just being like, yeah, well, he needs a little bit of rest and that's where we're at. Travis Green's not going out there trying to like, I think it's obviously something where he's like, I can't play because Travis is like, I wanted him to play basically, you know, and he's choosing not to. And then like, listen, you know when goalies grab the water off the top of the net or in, you know, after a goal scored and they can maybe make like different faces, but it almost look like he's like smiling after the fifth goal. Yeah. I think it's probably just a frustration and just a brutal body language look that he's unaware of. Exactly. So maybe, maybe like, like it goes back to the mental health stuff, like you hope the guys are right. I know it's been a year from hell for him personally and he probably wants just this thing over with. But when you sign an eight point, whatever, $5 million extension for four years and you're being paid, like you're that guy. And if you go back to when he was with Boston, man, those guys are splitting the net, right? So they're not used to playing the 60 games, you even look at swimming this year. I think swimming just, I think you just hit the 50 game mark. So he's probably going to end up with 55 games max. So if that's the expectation of these new school goalies, then that's it. But I mean, Jesus Christ, man, eight, eight, that's what 8.5 gets it. Give me a fucking break. How do you, like, could you imagine calling your dad and be like, Hey, I just, I didn't have it tonight. I couldn't play. I didn't want it. Like he, he fucking, my dad drove a track, the trailer for 30 years, didn't have a day off. Like he would have fucking, he would have drove his truck to my game, punching in the face and put me in the game. Like, you're getting paid all this money. You're getting paid to play in the best league in the world. You get treated unbelievably. You need to show up for your teammates, your fans, your coaches. There's no excuse like if he's mentally okay, like, obviously, maybe he was mentally drained. He didn't want to play. He thought he was too tired. But my thing is he played two days later, right against Florida, started that game. There's no reason that he shouldn't have been playing. Yeah, I think it's, it's just the optics of a busy brought up the injuries to the defense man. And then everybody doing whatever they can to try to get this team into the playoffs they get in last year. Let's do it again. Let's build something here. That's a good team and the goal is saying I can't play. So it's a wild story. Stutzel and Brady went to the Olympics too. They were playing, they're playing through the Olympics, not even like they got the three weeks off. So that, that to me is what's mind boggling about all this. I don't know what to call it down there, but he's up by the playoff, you know, it's like, I like to kind of focus on the top, you know, like is Buffalo for real Tampa, Carolina? Could this be the year for Rod Brindamore? You know, they make the playoffs every year under him. They normally win a playoff series under him, but they're the best team in hockey. You hasn't got to the Stanley Cup finals in the last nine years. And so I was in Columbus last night called the Blue Jack and Hurricane game and they got a lot of depth. Obviously they don't have to start up from their defense. Is it really the same story, Gucci, the same story, yeah, same story. And Busty was amazing last night, but you know, can, can they get that goal tending when those guys, you know, they'll see a shot every 20 minutes and suddenly here comes a great air. Are you ready? And so that can sometimes be a tough way to play goalie. So yeah, curious about Carolina and really, you know, it's all about the avalanche. If I had to bet a paycheck on who's going to win, it's hard to imagine them not winning the cup. I would be a gigantic disappointment if they don't. So to me, that's probably the avalanche into me. It's like, do or die. You just mentioned Carolina. Were you disappointed that they didn't go push for a second mind center? Stankov has been playing that role all year, which they love them there in Carolina anytime you criticize any other moves or lack thereof. Their fan base is like rapid dogs. Were you disappointed? They didn't considering this year in the way it's shaken out, pushing more chips. Yeah, especially if Robert Thomas was really out there, I don't know how much he really was. That would have been the guy that I think really could have brought them up a notch. But yeah, Stankov and it's interesting. I didn't think he would make it all this season as their second line center him and Blake together, though, you know, they're a fun watch. They get in your face, especially Blake. That guy is sneaky. He's got some rad in him, a lot of rad in him. And he had a good skate trip last night of Charlie Coil come out of the zone and I went to the box. So they'll compete and they'll go hard, but I just wonder, especially Buffalo's the heavy team now. People don't realize that Buffalo is kind of strangely evolved into this big kind of heavy team. And like that would be a hard match up if they get there Tampa. That might be a little bit more of Carolina's jam. I actually think that's a better match up for them just from a size perspective. Does Buffalo scare you a little bit with the goal tending? I know they've been, they've looked great this year. Like you said, they're big. They're fast. They've been playing awesome. The Cinderella story, the league, but the goal tending for me going into the playoffs is the only thing that scares me a bit. But they have Alex Lyon. I know, but yeah, Alex Lyon gets you into the playoffs and get you in and then ball to it. You know, the lot, you know, Lyon said he saved the panther season that number one against the Bruins. So Bob got reset. That was, I was quite a, but you're right. It's a little scary. You know, they've given up two hundred and twenty one goal. So they have to score, but you know, that's, I was the cool way they won last night. You know, it's a tight, low scoring game and I look, Krebs has really evolved into a good player. He's just really a character guy, kind of a culture guy. Then they brought Donan as well and and they really kind of, they're a good kind of foundation of, of nastiness underneath the stage Thompson, you know, Glitz and Glamour and Daliene. So I, you know, in the end, that Eichel trade has turned out not terrible in the end, but especially if they ever got a cup. Right now, obviously, Jack has the cup. So that, that obviously biggest wins that trade until maybe Buffalo can get it all square. But, you know, talking Krebs have turned out to be key guys, Krebs played a lot in the top line this year. I don't think he's really a top line guy per se, but he can go up and down fights guys. It's like, I like, I like that, dude. I like him too and talking about doing the Columbus game last night. So it's been a incredible story. Bones comes in. They go on this run. Then Sunday, they lose a three nothing lead at home to the Bruins, like kind of like, hopefully that's a one off, but he had some quotes after that. There's some guys in our team that got to learn how to play in these big games and they're not really there yet. And then they lose last night at home again, I still believe that. going to get in. I root for that team based on their fan base and how passionate they are with the lack of playoff success. But are you worried at all? What do you think about what he's saying about some of the young guys in the team? And my final thing for them is Phantilly's, like he's had a solid year. But I think coming in, it was like, this kid's going to be, he could be a superstar in the league. Do you still see that as a possibility with him being so young? I don't know, superstar. I think he's going to be a goal scorer. Like that shot last night was yeah, Rose. My goodness. Can he powder the puck and he's playing with Marchenko all year. He should have more goals. So maybe we need, maybe we need to give him time and he will turn into be a 90 point 40 to 50 goal. Absolute wagon of a, of a forward. Um, were you, did you have a chance to watch them? They win those two games, which they should have. They're probably in because now the Bruins are in and the Canadians are in. So now it's just those five, 16 second, the capitals now all the sudden. I mean, when the rest of their games, they might sneak in. So it's, it's so strange down there at the bottom. And um, you know, between the auto, I wish you guys were just talking about before I popped on again, the Bruins are fine. They're in, but the Islanders last night again, tough one. And now, and now the Blue Jackets, I don't know, can someone reset here in these last six, seven games and boom, win five of six, four of six? Because that's if you do that, you're going to make it. You said it, like Washington was kind of like dead to rights. And then they trade Carlson. And even looking at the remaining games and the schedule, it's a very winnable schedule. Like, I wouldn't be shocked if they only lost one more game to close out the year. Like, could we pull up who they got left, boys? I think they have, like, I think they have Toronto. He said seven goals in the last seven games and definitely sparked in that game against Utah when he had two defensive zone draws to break that. That might, that might get them in the playoffs. The defensive zone face off. And very new, harbory new. Bucci, let's talk quickly in mushy middle. You're talking about these teams, but Detroit is sent to stat this morning. Their numbers in March over the last three seasons. It's actually, you can't even wrap your head around it because it doesn't make sense. And this year, the way they looked, like, they're in trouble now based on how it's going. I mean, they get drum last night by the penguins and they're getting drummed in games lately that are like, you know, they're all must-win games. What do you see in there? Yeah, there it is right there. There's their March record last four years. That's 75 35 and five. Yeah, I'm obviously the Larkin injury hurt them a lot. Yeah, they did. Again, they're kind of like, you know, they kind of don't have that big time guy. Almost like Carolina as well, you know, Larkin and Ajo are probably pretty comparable. A Larkin, yeah, I might take him a hair over Ajo a little bit. I was going to have a career high and assist this year. So, uh, Sveshnikov is close to his career high. Eilers is having a career year. More points is just the goals he might not get the 30s. He could get there, but he's having a career year and points and assists. So, uh, so yeah, so Detroit, they're kind of similar that way, uh, to Carolina, you know, the goalies don't really have a guy. Their defense is good. Obviously, cider kind of blossomed this year. Edvinson's coming, but he's not there every night. And then obviously, they made the move of the deadline. But after that, it's not an impressive decor in front of up and down goalies who had a great start. You know, Gibson was saving them. They come down to earth. So yeah, it's just not a team. It's just not quite a strong enough team that we're, hey, we're top five in the conference. So they're going to they're going to hang around there. I thought I've had them out for a while now. I just don't think there's enough gas there left. It just doesn't seem. And now it's strange because they definitely have assets. They definitely, you know, they they got unlucky with some of their lottery ball situations and when they had the picks and where they had the picks, you know, you're kind of a prisoner to that. You know, the sharks win the lottery and they're celebrating and everybody's going to be rich in that for enterprise for 15 more years. You know, the GM's getting three four contracts. The coach getting three four all because of that guy, right? But he's got to be there to that lottery ball. It's the guy's got to be and then the guy's got to be there, right? And just like the islanders, they go from what 10 to 1 and then shafers there. Everybody's going to be rich. Everybody's getting a raise every, you know, and and so unfortunately for Detroit, that just didn't happen. And now they're trying how do how can we get the guy and how can we get a couple guys at this point, right? And maybe one of them is going to come out of nowhere when one of these second or third rounders and that you know, that they just drafted the last three years. Like, you know, here comes a Braden point or a Brad Marchand or Patrice Bergeron, these non first rounders that suddenly blossomed in the Hall of Famers. That's what they're going to need now. Now, I don't dig. Have you heard any rumblings like that you talked to anyone? If if Detroit were to fizzle out again for the fourth year in a row in March, what what is the consequence? Or do you think that because Steve it's Steve E. Y, he has a leash as long as you can, you can see. I was I can't imagine the elitias ever departing from him. You know, I think they'll let him make that decision, whether it's one of those move up and let Horcoff or drapes come in and maybe just, you know, tweak a little bit, but because I think they're in a decent shape right now. It's just that next move. What's that next move? You know, and again, I think these next couple years, people are going to become available like, you know, taking inventory of their careers, you know, whether it's Matthew's, whether it's McDavid, just looking around them. Okay, here I'm 30 now. Damn, what happened to Mike 20s? And I got to try to figure something out. And so there's always those guys always become available like Quinn Hughes did. And, you know, Jack Ikel did every once in a while that personal pop up and you got to be ready to pounce. And for whatever reason, Stevie just hasn't wanted to really, you know, unload some of those guys in the American league that maybe could get a pretty good player. And but maybe his argument is, you know, that's just not and he might be right. We don't know. That's too much for that guy. That guy won't be a difference maker. They pay me to make this decision. That guy, not quite the guy. And so, you know, but I think it will be up to him to answer your question directly. I think it's his call. But like the last, you know, we just saw the stats of the last few marches. In last year's DBY said, you know, basically, I don't think our team was there yet to make the next step. That's why they didn't make any trades this year. They didn't really do too much even though they had been playing well this season. Does it come on him where it's like, Hey, you got to go out and get some some guys to help your team late in the season to get this push going because clearly there's something going on in March and whether it's, you know, after the deadline where the players are pissed off not playing well or, you know, they got to retool and get some, but he hasn't done that. No, it's a little surprising. It's been very patient in that regard. And yeah, I don't know if anybody in that organization, I'm sure they've had some good meetings with everybody in a room. And maybe they're pushing him a little bit to be aggressive. And this guy and Grand Rapids and that guy, maybe you can get that guy. But yeah, I mean, he's a, he's a, as you know, he's a prideful guy. And I'm sure he grinds over it all the time. He can be a Debbie down or sometimes, you know, look at his team. And, and, you know, it was, oh, whoa, it was us. And we can't, score and, and so, but he's such a hyper competitor. But yeah, that's a, it's, it's an interesting situation. I can't imagine in that organization who goes to him and it's, hey, be more aggressive. Yeah. Make a big move. Um, I'm sure he's trying to win. He's trying to get good players. He's done it for a long time. You know, in Tampa, he's very qualified for the job. He's always wanted it. He's, as a player, I remember having him on NHL tonight. And he would join us. I'm like, this guy's going to be like, this guy is the kind of guy that goes to Denny's at 2am and writes the Olympic roster on a placemat like, who's making the Olympic roster, boys? Like he's doing that as a player, the legend, DVY. So you knew he was going to be a GM and he lives for this. So, um, but it's a long time. And at some point, maybe it takes a tweak, you know, Buffalo, you know, a different situation with their GM. But what happened there? How it changed everybody? Everybody got a big chest all of a sudden for whatever reason when they changed the GM. They just felt better about everything. I don't know if Detroit, if, if they need just whether it's a big move or like I said, if he moved up, someone came in and boom, they just unloaded all these prospects and got this huge player with that then ignite the rest of the roster and the team and give them kind of that Buffalo chest. The Buffalo got this year. You know, maybe the, maybe that's what DVY needs to think about. Maybe it's not so much winning a trade, perhaps, is I need to do something gigantic because then the rest of the team will get better because in the end, that's what you want. You want everybody to get a little bit better. That's how you win. You know, one guy doesn't win again when he leaves the team or one guy when he comes on the team. So I wonder if that would just psychologically is what the organization and the team needs, larking on down, cider, all those guys because when you're fighting every night, like, is the guy behind me? I don't, I don't mean that literally, but we need some help here. We know we need help. And if that happened, then I think everybody would get better. So we could have a seismic effect if this summer CDY decides, I'm going to hit them. It's not even close at this point. Good for you. I always say every team that makes a playoffs, there's probably an argument for the coach to win coach of the year. Everyone has a different story, you know, to, to be coach of the year. But that one is so obvious at the beginning of the year, how fast they looked with the puck since game one Carlson is at a different level. What that someone like a 40-year-old mullkin can have a really good year, point per year, and an 18-year-old kindle can have a comfortable year. And a guy like Carlson reclamation can have a great year. And a guy like Manta's getting 30, not Mo Manta, penguin fans. It's Anthony Manta. I thought he was out of the league at one point. Like he was like, his career was up to me. To me, what Dan used up to. Oh, man, that was my coach. Junior. I think first, well, the guys who have really made the most impact for me culturally. And as you can see on the ice is Mews, Marco Sturm, and Boston is another guy. What he's done, they did not expect to be this good. You know, again, guys like who's to deen off with 16 goals and up and down the lineup. And, and yeah, after those of Timmy are the two big ones, then you can go, you go Lindy, you can go Cooper because he's never won one. You could go Lindy Ruff because again, they're having an amazing year. Again, Rod Brindamore. It's the same thing every year. They get a hundred points every year, you know. So in terms of a regular season coach in Joel Quinnville, you know, if they win the division, that's pretty cool. What Anaheim has done, you know, that's the third longest drought after Red Wing Sabers is the docs. So like they're in that kind of, they're in that book. So again, to step in there again, but all kinds of talent. So, but I do think it's, I do think it's it's Sturm and Mews are kind of at a different level than everybody else with their team. So the reason I got coup, see, people seem to think my like top and argument is, oh, because he's never won it before. You look at man games lost. And I think Buffalo is actually ahead of them. But if you look at the significance of guys, they lost the man games, they lost Surrelli point. Those top and guys made their whole decor. And right now Buffalo with one more game played as two points ahead of them. If Tampa Bay wins the hardest division in hockey and the biggest thing too is, you see these like 10 year coaches. Look at, uh, Cassidy, after four years, like how much you wore on players, you're hearing a medium member said that it was four years from hell. The fuck could they, they want it when the guy was having a miserable time for you, for you to be in a long room that long and your voice to still have that much impact and carry so much weight. To me, that is, is part of the criteria. It's like you're motivating these guys. Just like you talked about Muse and Sturm empowering these kind of these no name guys who we had no clue about all of a sudden they're getting 20, 25 goals a year. To me, that's an element of coaching is empowering these players. So that's why I had Koop in my top three and no offense to Lindy Roth. I just, when you're, when your GM can't even, can't even confirm that you're going to be the coach in the next year. And he had to come in and fucking base. He gave everybody a PP Wack to let the rest hunt fire. I view those other three guys as more important pieces, including Sturm, like you said. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, Koop had the goalie and those guys don't have the goalie, the Hall of Fame. So luckily he's been there all year, but you're right. Guys are in and out. He should win one. But also I, if I have another vote this year, I had for about last four, enough for coach of the air, but for all the other ones MVP, Norris Rookie, I'm counting the, the gold medal game in my voting. That, that's Bucci's rule. That counts. So if it's close, Zach Rewensky wins the Norris because he made that play that counts. That's a weighted. Okay. All right. We chatted Montreal and Keith Pellys saying he didn't know they had a team this year. And what they've done is incredible. They've won six in a row right now. They're beaten good teams. They're winning games on the road. Caulfield could end up winning the rock at Richard. Do you see them as a as a legitimate threat? Or is it one of those things that the Canadians haters are saying like, Oh, Tampa will drum them round one. I don't think anybody's drumming anybody except the avalanche. You know, the avalanche rule. I'm they're going to sweep their first round. You know, put maybe five. I hope celebrate. He gets that eight spots. That would be so fun to have that's a good one for us in the, you know, TV business to obviously market and promote for those later games at night and those double headers that would add that would add little pizzazz out West to the playoffs situation. But otherwise, yeah, I don't think it's a pushover. Anybody's a pushover. You know, Montreal, obviously they can score. They have big time. You know, Caulfield is such an electric player. He's a big time big moment player. It is different in the playoffs though for sure. And Tampa does have the recipe. And I go back to that Tampa Buffalo game, you know, with all the fights and stuff. That was so much fun watching them. You guys were on it. And it was just a great, a great viral X moment. That's it was built for Twitter a game like that because people got on board. They didn't know it was happy. I was on there from the start. It was a Sunday. It was six o'clock start. Like, Oh, I'll watch this game. And then all of a sudden, you could feel the whole sports world coming onto that game. It was so fun. That's the great thing about about Twitter X. So, um, and so I think Tampa Bay did that. They'd done a couple times this year. You know, they're the number one penalty minute team by far. Like, it's not even close. They're well over a thousand. They have twice as many as a lot of teams. Um, and I do, I think because I think they realize since they lost that cup finals to Colorado and they haven't won a playoff series since that they need to start getting back to that kind of nasty dirty hockey. And they got a carry was back there, I think. Yep. For sure. And so, you know, it would be tough on Montreal. And I think Tampa's going to get that. I think they're going to somehow squeeze out that top spot. And you're right now. They're point for centers ahead of Buffalo, I believe, because they played one less game. They have, although they're right, they're almost identical, it really is something. And Tampa Bay is good at home and the road, 23 wins each. And again, that also actually goes to business, you know, argument in terms of being good on the road at home. That's sometimes coaching too. That's sometimes a coaching stat when you're a good team on the road and dealing with matchups. And how can I say one step ahead? And that's probably a lot of fun for a coach like Cooper is to fear that stuff out on the road. Actually, I lied. I got one more question about an Eastern conference team. You haven't talked about the Philadelphia Flyers, another team in Pennsylvania. Is Biz muted? Oh, no. Can you not hear him? I can't. I can hear you. Biz, just leave and come back. Leave and come back. He's heard that a few times in his life. Oh, yeah. But just, Biz, just leave and come back, just leave and come back. I guess we can go right into what Biz just mentioned in the flyers, right? Like that. I very excited to hear your Meechkov thoughts, but Porter Martin comes in. You're a big college hockey guy. He makes an immediate impact in his first game. They lose, unfortunately, because they've been on a run. But what do you see out of that team? Do you think they have a chance? Do you get the frustration and the anger of the fans about Meechkov and anyone who ever criticizes any part of his game? Like, give us your whole breakdown of Philly. Yeah. I'm actually a fan of Meechkov again, turn your head and Meechkov. Everyone, those are my guys. But early on, I thought he had kind of that Caprizov, Gene in terms of not a fast player, blows the game down, can think the game, will make other players better, can make an elite hockey sense play and pass. Probably doesn't quite have the shot Caprizov had, that's what's amazing about him. As he's a finisher, like Kutcher off, again, those guys who play at their own pace, I think McKenna will be that kind of player too, who plays as a slower pace, but has this rocket of a shot that can finish. And that takes them to that other level. I don't know if Meechkov's going to be scoring off-balance 40-foot one-timers from his knee in the upper corner, like, you know, that those guys do, and that fan till he did last night, that kind of shot. But I do think, and remember when Caprizov came over, he's 23 years old, right? This kid's 18 culturally probably wasn't quite managed correctly on his side, on, you know, immersing himself in the professional game and the talent wasn't quite enough, and his surroundings maybe, and then that might not be his fault, just the collection of guys. Like, a lot has to go into it, right, for things to work out quickly in all of our lives, any job. Like, is, you know, just kind of falls in the place, kind of like Chiklis just fell in the place, right? Now you guys are going, anybody who comes in with a line change, they just pick it up because the culture is strong, and the team is good, and that's, and that's kind of like it, right? And the flyers weren't that. Now they were, you know, and so that's part of it for him, but just, but I think there's enough there that it will turn out to be good. It's just not, it's a slow start. Now I could be off, and maybe if you're good, you're good, and if it should have happened, it should have happened by now. But, you know, towards and talk it, or two guys who aren't going to take your, aren't going to take your shit. And although Rick has been so good on the bench, I love that video earlier this year when he's trying to, he's trying to make peace with Mitch Koff on the bench when he's losing it. Remember, and talk is coming over. They're good body language. He's, I know, because Rick, as you know, is an elite people person. That's the thing people don't realize about Rick talk it. He is an absolute, right in like, like that Cooper range of just like, of connecting with people and owning a room and owning the space and kind of like, you know, almost charming you with him connecting with you, like he's really good at that. And that's why he's, I think he's, he's such a good coach. And so in the end, it might be talk and then the better players coming in and create some sort of culture of competition, right, or in your ice time. You know, when there's not, when there's teammates that you don't respect, I don't mean any human sense, but like in a talent sense, he's looking around like, well, I'm better than these guys. I know I'm better than him. There's no one better than me. We do that our own job sometimes and to try to, okay, I can, I can move up this organization. Now that the good players are coming in, maybe he'll realize, whoa, he's, he's good. I got to get a little better and then he'll motivate himself, have more self, self motivation to improve himself and all areas of his game, because that's, as you know, as a professional, that's what you got to do. You got to have that dedication, like, but Dard went home last summer and got faster. I can't wait to see what he's better at next year, because that's the guy who's just going to keep going like this, because every summer, Celebrini, Crosby, McDavid, those kinds of guys, that's those are the ones who do that. And I can't wait to see what Bardard does like he did last summer. And that's what Meechkov has to do. He's going to take inventory and say, where am I going to get better and then do that? Let me ask you about Marton then, because you've seen him and like, you know, high pick, big kid. Like, what do you see his future as if everything works out as the flyers plan? He needs to turn into the third Kachak, like that should be his whole mind. Okay. He's got skill. He's got size. His teammates love him. He learned how to train and beat himself in Michigan state. He's, like I said, his teammates love him. And he just needs to go in there with Attitude and become a Kachak and he will own that city. I mean, he will own that city. He can shoot it. He got size. So that's what I would do if I would him. I would look at film. I would call Brady and Matthew and hang out with them. And they're dad and just talk hockey, you know, go to Saint Louis and you know, when it gets too hot in Naples and you know, when they're all heading to Missouri, all the Kachak's, I would go to Saint Louis and I would hang out. I would like literally do that for him. And they'll do it. They'll bring them in. Hey, man, I want to meet you guys. I want to hang out. I want to go in Saint Louis. We'll go play golf. We'll go to it. You'll have a, you know, cook out. We'll hear Walt on the grill and just tell stories and talk about hockey, have a few Mick Ultras. Two of them. Yeah. And just talk hockey. Love that. That's what I would do. I'm porting my tone. Seek out. You know, there's the copying people is a good way for all of us, whatever job we have, identify a person and say, I'm going to, I'm going to mimic them because you'll always be yourself in the end. I can do that. And that's what I would do if I'm him. You mentioned torts and you've had the chance to work with him in the studio at ESPN. And this thing comes out of nowhere. What did you learn about him that maybe you didn't know while while working with them covering games and do you think that he can get that team figured out going a little bit of a run? He's he's the power of personality. He's the funds, you know, he's Arthur funds are really he looked like him and he was younger and he walks in a room. He's got energy. He's got discipline. I remember this year, he was, I was going to, you work late night ESPN and these double headers and biz, you know, a TNT. You get bored. So you just start eating crap, you go down the vetting machine and I'm I'm getting nutter butters and Oreos and you know, and oh, yeah, I'll have this, I'll have this red bowl in midnight. This will do my heart great. And so, but he always try to cut himself off. Cut him. Now I'm fine. You want something torts? No, no, no. You know, he wants something. But he does. Yeah. Then we go back and we're sitting. We're watching the games and I got my nutter butters. I go for it. Just one. Just. Okay. Just one. He has another butter. But that's it. So like he's 67. He's turned 68 this summer, but he has a still has that discipline that this is important. And he still has energy. He gets up early. He's got the, the horses and the dogs on the farm down in Florida, all those rescue horses and dogs that he and his wife take care of. He's up early. Doing that work. Maybe he got kicked in the eye by the horse when he was coated in the flyers or something. That's what I thought happened to chief. Yes. But I think, I, you know, and they're under, they're underlying numbers are good, but yeah, you mentioned the connocts. They got the flames tonight. They had two days of practice. Now they got the flames tonight. Now they go on a four game road trip out west, right, Edmonton, Vancouver, Seattle, Colorado. Now you can kind of get together with the team and do that as you know that on the road trip. That's when that happens. You had to, plus after the Edmonton game, they could fly to Vancouver that night have two days of practice before they played the connox and then come back home for two more. And now, okay, give me three weeks, it's like a training camp mindset to get the guys ready to go to get them playing together and just to reset them, you know, because again, they are who they are. And let's face it, this is more of a veteran team. Remember, torts had at the end of Columbus, they were going to rebuild, right? I don't want to be a part of this. It goes to Philly, suddenly it becomes a rebuild, you know, it just didn't, it didn't work out. And so they realized, okay, we got a pivot here and we got to start drafting and getting some young prospects. We just don't have them. And so again, that's not the best fit for torts. This team's actually a better fit, I think for him. And I think he learned with his assistant coach role with four nations in the Olympics, that I got to, I got to ease up a little bit. And he said that to me last night when I interviewed in between periods of the game, he goes, yeah, I need to change a little bit. No, that was a, it was, it was a subtle line, but to me, it was like a trumpet on top of a mountain screaming like, hey, I admit it, I got to ease up a little bit here. I can't talk to these guys like I might talk to, you know, someone, a young player on the flyers, you know, trying to get them going. So it's, to me, it's just an organ, it's given three weeks, give a torts, three week training camp to just as they enter that opening series against Evanton. which I think the ducts will hang on to that division, but whether it's the ducts or Edmonton that they're ready and prepared to win a seven game series, you know, as much as possible. And I think that's what this is, a three week torch training camp to get them ready for the playoffs. - Yeah, I think we said the same thing. It's almost like he's got to kind of bring the teaching as much as he does the pom-poms and just be tire-pumpin' the guys and kind of make it like a tournament setting, you know? And those types of tournaments, that's how you have to approach it because if you lose the room, it's like tournament over, right? - It's over. - You lose two in barbecue. - Yeah. - That's the old flop pitch soft, the old slow pitch softball tournament weekend lights. Yeah, it's not real fair for Minnesota and Dallas may be in the first round, but Minnesota hasn't looked like world beaters the last month, maybe you just play better and then win and show, you know? Just, you know, my brain is just easier to go one eight, two tenths, then look at out division, wild card, and he goes here, so, but to me, I really don't care. Some things I just choose not to have an opinion on and get upset, and that's one of them. I'm going to watch either way. - I got to ask about my squad because Edmonton's out there won their fourth in a roll for the first time this season. It took 75 games to get four in a row. I still believe in this team. It's obviously to get Vegas first round, and then I think they're more likely to win the second round than they are the first round, based on Anaheim and say Utah, maybe. But after that, do you think that they can do this again, or are you just, if they play Colorado or Dallas, are they in one? - Yeah, and that's what I see it as is, yeah, they're playing their best now. You think if Boosh didn't have that 10 game stretch that he had this year, that it was Lafault-Loud, Fanny Hockey, that he would be. And it started the year too. It was the beginning of the year. Bacardi Boosh. Like, do you think he'd be the, he'd be the front runner for the Norris right now? I don't know if he'd be the front runner, because you know, it is such a stigma the poor guy has, especially when, you know, Bararro absolutely deep-fried him on national television that came on the island. Oh, that was great. And the old air fryer, just cover Chris go all over him and shove him in the air fryer. That's what Bararro did. The Booshard. But no, I mean, I had him on my Olympic team every time we did Little Roasters, you know, me Frank, Frank Saravale on our little screencast who's like, why isn't this guy on the team? He's clearly a right-handed shot, playoff guy, who can absolutely, you know, magician back there. So, you know, but off to that, that shows you what team Canada is all about him. That's the stigma that he has the team Canada. You didn't have him on the roster over, you know, Colton Paraco had zero goals on really the Olympics. And it was zero. Well, I do want to say, like, at Colm talking about Booshard, granted, this is a teammate, but I watched the Euler's games. He says he's an unbelievable hockey player. He's taken steps every year. I don't think anyone should disagree as a top five defenseman in the NHL. He has a complete game. It's not just his shot. It's his breakout passes. He plays in the PK. He finds guys in stride with perfect passes out of the zone. He defensively is way better than people think. It's just like you said, the occasional clip where you're like, oh my god, he's picking up on the pink Whitney. Exactly. And you know who he is. He just kind of dawned on me. He's Sam Darnold, right? Like, Booshard is Sam amazingly talented. You know, big high first pick of the draft goes to these places. Has these moments there just because everyone makes mistakes. McCarrick gets beaten a lot defensively. He's out there a lot. You're going to get beaten. Whereas he got beat last time a couple times. It's just going to happen. It's hockey, it's hard like a cornerback. You know, it's a playing defense and playing cornerback. It's impossible. I don't know how they do it. How do you possibly defend going backwards when you don't know what the other guy's going to do at a high speed? So, but like Sam Darnold, you know, he just kept showing up. And then eventually he finds the right coach, defines the right place. And now here he is a Super Bowl champion. So, he's got little Darnold in him, where his mistakes, like he's better just so theatrically bad and entertaining. But yeah, no, I'm going to have to, again, I got the Norris trophy vote. So, I need to go in and dig deep. And after that first month, which was a disaster, with a big kick and a big finish and they get in. And maybe even if they win the division, he's going to be a big part of why. And him and, you know, he and McDavid. So, yeah, I am going to take a look hard at Boosh and just to see if he does indeed deserve a Norris, a Norris first place vote or. I'm just happy to even say Sanchez. Well, well, you know, you don't want to be Mark Sitch, that's right now. But hey, Darnold, he said it. He ended with a championship. He's got a championship. So that's the coach this year. He had to go somewhere else though, with, that's true. I think he went to two different places. Or maybe he went assuming he's only, I think, about four. But yeah, you know, your boy, your boy Clement, you had on the earning golf thing. I did a saber game earlier in the year. And we stayed at the Marriott Harbor Center there, which is great. You walk to the rank and up there and then the bar is good. You know, when it gets going at night, it's pretty good. Seeing there some people come over and he was at the game. They showed his boys just good. He's got a, you know, he's got a saber hat. Looks like he's 17 years old. Oh, he's black. Oh, sure. This black guy is legendary. You know, they didn't win. But it was like, he was just at their talk. He's a Rochester, our tester in New York kid. You know, the driver's bus was at Sally, that he named his bus Sally. Yeah, Betsy, Betsy or Betsy. Just like ready to blow up asking a few college questions. I know we might have a still a few Western teams to talk about, but the biggest drum he's been beaten. I think it was David Carl's comments about these fucking neutral zone sites for college hockey. do you feel a bum? What's that? New drill zone sites. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. No, I've been saying that for a long time that we should have these on campus. You need atmosphere, atmosphere is mainly for the athletes. Athletes would rather play a road game than a 3000 attended, you know, neutral site game and Grand Rapids, Michigan. Like, yeah, they'd rather go too far go with, you know, 9,000 drunk North Dakota fans and they'd rather have that. That's fun, right? Because if you win, that's the best. Road silence is the best. It's great for us on television. Atmissier's better for a television show. And in the end, life is a television show, much less sports now, but sports is definitely a television show. Everything must be geared towards that. It's just no longer a pure competition. Back in 1890, between, you know, 10 drunk scots, guts dudes up in Canada playing hockey, right, for their life or death. It's just not anymore. It's a television show. And so, yes, we should play on campus sites. They do it in the first round, the college football playoff. How good was that, right? And before they head to the bowls and then it becomes kind of a neutral site again, but no, I agree that that should happen. And David is slowly getting more power. There's a lot of coaches who agree with him, but are afraid to come out and talk like he talks. I know that's frustrating for, you know, for some people, but I think we'll end up there. What's, I just got us, what's the reason why they're staying so persistent about the fact that there's no atmosphere, like even in one of the games, they broke a pan of glass, 25 minute delay, Penn State. There isn't one. The great question. I can't give us reasons as to why, like if it's a money thing, it would maybe make sense, but I mean, most of the revenues, considering it's not even televised on any, like, is it, is it televised making so much money where the tickets, like the tickets got to be worth something to answer your question. I don't see how these are money making ventures. You know, I'm sure they did well in love because there's a couple of sold-out places, but yeah, no, I don't know what the reason is the NCAA and the coaches, but, but you know, I think ultimately they do that because they think that's the most fair way to decide a champion, you know, is a neutral site playoff game. The argument would be that people say that the powerhouse, like, you know, colleges and in the organizations, I'll say, will remain always as a host. Like, you'll always have North Dakota, Michigan, hopefully, be you. Like the big dogs is the one seat hosting. So it makes me more. That's not true now. Yeah, that's not true. But Carl did say, I never thought of it. I thought of, um, you know, the number one seats all hosting all four, but he was saying one through eight hosts, nine through 16 at their building. So it'd be like eight different sites. Now, maybe that's the TV aspect, but that would be sick. And then you get all, you get all together right after that. But I do, I do wonder at some point if the noise gets loud enough because it seems like we've been talking about it, but now I mean, she's getting, he said like five coaches texted him or call them about it. It's like, obviously, right. Well, yeah, those guys need to do it publicly though. Yeah, you're right. You know, but maybe their AD is against it and they're afraid to go against their AD. So I get it. There's some situations like that. But, you know, and ultimately what they could do is in what, you know, there's been whispers of is just breaking away from the NCAA. Just start your own federation. You know, there's been rumble about this. Like we got to ask not to talk about this, where essentially they would create like a premier league. Yeah. And hockey is the one sport probably, but in all sports have talked about this at the college level, even football has, right? I mean, that then they could easily do their own thing, get their own TV contract. That would be not prom at all. But, you know, there's been talk about maybe doing that with college hockey and maybe, and do you break it up into tears? So like, you know, you have three divisions. I don't, you know, I mean, let's face it, these teams in Atlantic hockey are not going to ever win the national championship. Now it's fun to aspire to a D1 scholarship and play a D, you know, occasionally play a Boston college in North Dakota, Denver and compete against those guys. But it wouldn't be cool. They could compete for their own championship, you know, whether it's 20 teams in each, in each division or each tier. If you do it that way and get separate TV contracts and the big boys can get a TV contract and and maybe try to grow the game that way and have more games on prime time. Get these big dogs together every week playing big games and have a Monday night hockey at third, but ever you do. But yeah, that that's probably the ultimately then they could do whatever they want in all kinds of situations. If they break away and in higher commissioner and and try to because it is becoming a strong league with the Canadian juniors coming down. These 20 year old kids are really good players. Really good. They've really brought depth. Yeah. This cas well kid in Denver who played, I think you played for Swift current for four years was the MVP. You know, he's a 20 year old freshman. Man, that guy can play. He is really good. I think that it's basically become the A channel now. I think it's just as competitive as the American hockey league with the fact that these guys can come over the top end junior guys after after, you know, preparing and marinating for four years. Yeah. The perfect path of development. Now that same guy we are talking to, as you just mentioned, like you talked about the tears, there should be a relegation system where maybe the bottom four teams now, how big would you keep tier one? Like are you talking 20 teams, 25, 30, like how big would that top tier be? You think? Yeah, you could probably go 30. You could probably do two actually. You probably go two tears and that would be like two, you know, 30 and I don't know about relegation, how that works and I have to see that work. And you know, but I'm all for trying. I think if you make the frozen four of maybe like the second tier, it would bump out the bottom four that finished that part. Like that's why I said British Premier League, like that's such a fun system because like even all the way to the end of the year, you're like, you have something to root for. Right. And you really have to become a full-fledged league then because you have to plan these schedules in advance, right? Schools have agreements. We'll go to your place for two. We'll come to our place for two right now. But again, you could just change to do the professional model and play each team four times and and have divisions and stuff. It wouldn't be hard to do. It just, it's so different than what college work has always been. That's why that's why they're afraid to do it or try or should we do this? Will we ruin it? We got a decent thing going here. And with the implementation, another big word for me, Pinkies Upboys, with the pitch clock and then now this ABS thing, why wouldn't you try a year of the four, a four, like four year cycle of doing one through eight, doing maybe a shorter schedule in the best on best years to then provide your own. So there's a lot of, yeah, I think the college should definitely have a look in the mirror about all that try one 16 to 15 one year, like, you know, that's the dream. But yeah, you can't be afraid. You are a said that too. You can't be afraid to change like and baseball's kind of proved it lately. Um, sticking with college quickly, I want to ask you, do you think McKenna maybe goes back? Like how do you think this ends up playing out? Unfortunately, they don't make the frozen for this year. They made it last year. But you think he's gone as good as gone. Yeah. Yeah. He's not going back. Um, you know, we'll see, we'll see who drafts them, uh, who wins the lottery. I do think he's the best player. Um, now if someone, someone could win the lottery and decide to trade the pick if they feel like they can get a haul and they don't love him for whatever reason. And they might, you know, they might have a Chicago might say, you know what? Well, this is the Darts team and it's Fran Dell's team. And but if we win the lottery and get the first pick, we might, you know, trade it for stuff like they need to start trading for players. I like they don't need any more prospects in Chicago, but they could maybe move down to three or four and get a Verhoff or get, or get someone else. And then, and then that team might have a player that they can use right now, uh, another top six forward or something. And someone really wants to depends again. It just depends who wins the lottery that way. But, um, but yeah, I think I'd be very shocked if he go back again. Um, I mean, I'd always love to see it. I want, you know, I know, Jack, I go wanted to, and Maclin's celebrating he wanted to, but and, and McKenna didn't have the years that they had, you know, those were hobby years. And that's, and so McKenna was, you know, he wasn't the best player in college hockey. He wasn't this year. Just, you know, he was 18. He was young. It took him while to get going. And now, but he would, you know, and he didn't, you know, he didn't lead his team to the frozen four. Like, and again, I go into the championship game, you know, celebrating lost in the semi final game, but he made the frozen four as it, as it, you know, as a 17 year old. He's so amazing. What celebrating did is 17 year college. But, um, so yeah, so I do think he'll go back. I'd love to go back and play one more. McCarr did. That made a big difference for him, uh, that one extra year. But I think that's key for defense. But to do the one extra year, Quinn Hughes did it, Kel McCarr did it. But as a forward, he'll go right in the league and be good right away. I would not be surprised if McKenna had 60 points next year. He will make, he is, he doesn't have anyone to play with at that level at Penn State. I, uh, uh, if I was Vancouver, I'd be nervous because you got the Rangers and Chicago in that top five right now. Do you have you heard anything on those, these kind of, what's that times at all? - No, but also I think that fans have also complained about not staggering the starts enough that maybe that's why they felt like combined with that reason you just mentioned, maybe they're actually starting to listen to the fan bases where they don't, well, people, especially this time of year, you're having all these wild card races where all these games matter. Why wouldn't you stagger them? So, yeah, I didn't think of the stagger aspect of it, 'cause they usually set the times ahead, but yeah, it was just an interesting jack fall, maybe. - But going back to your common R.A., that's how I want to feel about the Toronto Maple Leafs, how you just described. To have a year where expectations were low or not where they have been in the past, and for your team to fight and claw for every inch, like if you guys end up going six, seven games and round one and losing, like you're gonna end the season being like, fuck, I love that team, I was proud of that team and I loved watching them. - I think either way, Bez, I think Bruins fans are already at that point. I think, you know, just making the playoffs, I think even just like having a competitive season, Bruins fans, they were plus 10,000 to win the division at the beginning of the year.
