We've got a lot of stuff to talk about today. We've got a banger of a source that's giving us an insider scoop that I believe may be accurate. And we will talk about the claim that, well, it's in the title, so I don't have to hide it. Erica may be stepping down as CEO, hanging on as the chair title at TPSA. I'll give you a little bit more information about that in just a moment. We're going to look at several other things as well. But I've got to tell you, I don't feel great. I don't know what's going on with me. I used to wonder why Candace took so many vacations. She'll take a vacation like every six or seven weeks. And I used to think to myself, Self, why would you do that? I love being on air, but man, it is hard on your voice. I don't think I'm getting sick as much as my voice is struggling. You know, when I used to be on the radio, every eight minutes you got a break. And the break would last like two, three. Four minutes, sometimes six minutes. There's no break on the podcast, baby. You're just going, you are going for a long time. Sometimes two, three, four hours. Nevertheless, I'm not complaining. I'm glad you're here. Welcome in. Welcome in. Welcome in. Um, the open is fun tonight. I kind of gave you a hint last night. What was it going to be about? I gave you a hint last night. What is it going to be about? We're going to talk about death of a pastor's wife and some of the similarities that I see in the, um, the Charlie Kirk case, the Tyler Robinson. And I cannot imagine there's anyone at TPSA. USA, anyone in the Erica Kirk orbit, any of her little hanger on lackeys that are trying to cause chaos on social media. I can't imagine any of them are happy to watch death of a pastor's wife. Cause when you get to episode three, it, um, it it's pretty wild when you get to episode three, it's pretty wild because everybody's sitting around saying, um, did, did he do it? Did the grieving widow do it? Um, so I will, uh, I'll, I'll get through the open as well. We also have a first look, uh, it was making its way on social media today. A first look at some, um, some, uh, uh, footage of Charlie Kirk in Salt Lake city before the TPSA event, I noticed a couple of things in there and we'll talk about that. What else was on the agenda? Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh, the Erica Kirk, New York times opinion. Well, I've got strong opinions about that. Very strong. Opinions on the New York times, um, Opinion piece that Erica Kirk pen. I will say it's labor day. Those of you not in the United States may not know what that means. Uh, labor day in the United States. We celebrate the first Monday in September. Sometimes it's Mrs. Coleman's birthday, not every week and every year, every six or seven years, it falls on Mrs. Coleman's, uh, birthday, but it's about the labor movement. It celebrates the labor movement. Um, I am one of those rare Republicans that actually likes unionized labor, not necessarily like unionized labor. I like the threat. Of unionized labor. I like that a lot. I think it keeps management honest and it keeps, uh, workers being treated fairly. And sometimes you got to unionize in order to keep that threat alive. So I know, I know I'm a bad Republican. I've been a bad Republican for a very long time, a very, very long time. It's okay though. It's okay though. I'll allow it. I'll allow it in my own instance. I did see, well, I don't want to get into that. Um, so let me get into the open, uh, let me get into the open daisies. The sound. Okay. It sounds kind of weird. Am. My ears. Um, as long as you think it's all right, I'm going to keep going. All right. I've got to jump into this open because it is, um, I thought it was fun to write. It was really fun to write. It, it took me down memory lane a little bit because the, um, the national phenomenon we see of these true crime podcasts and, and who done it and all that, it, it, it's really fun. So let me get into this open. And with your permission, ladies and gentlemen, and then we will jump right into the big headline story of the night, because this is your opening statement. Uh, millions of people now treat the new Netflix drops the way earlier generations treated a network mini series finale, three episode true crime documentary appears on a Wednesday and by Friday, it has colonized group chats. It has. Taken over comment sections. It is dominating the dinner table discussions, making a murderer. You remember that show making a murderer turned a Wisconsin murder case into a national argument about police and prosecutors. There was tiger King tiger King turned a chaotic private zoo into a pandemic era, cultural event, later entries like the staircase, American murder, the family next door, even the murder. all films, they all followed a similar pattern. There's intimate footage, there are conflicting personal accounts, and then there's an invitation for viewers to decide whether the institutions got it right. The effect on the cultural conversation is not subtle. The series accelerates skepticism towards first reports. They shrink the perceived distance between professional investigation and amateur investigation. They give ordinary people a shared vocabulary for talking about crimes and criminal investigations. They also reward narrative neatness. A closed case that still feels incomplete is far more watchable than a messy documented tragedy where there is no villain. Enter Death of a Pastor's Wife, arrived on Netflix just last month, and it sits squarely inside this film. In short, Death of a Pastor's Wife is emotionally intense. Do not go into it thinking it's casual watching. It's built around a gap between the official ruling and the people closest to the, I guess the heroine of the story, the dead woman, featured in the series. Viewers binge it because it promises the same thing that those earlier hits promised, which is the promise that looking harder at a closed file might somehow change the story. The series follows a story that is not necessarily a true story. It's a story that is not necessarily a true story. The story follows a woman named Micah Miller. She was the worship leader and the pastor's wife in a Myrtle Beach, South Carolina church. She met her husband, John Paul Miller, when she was just 13, and he was the charismatic pastor of her family's church. An affair, while both were married to other people, led to their own marriage. Friends and family describe the relationship that moved from intensity to somewhat dominating control. In April 2024, two days after Micah served divorce papers, she was married to a man named John Paul Miller. She was married to a man named John Paul Miller. She was married to a pastor's husband. Micah was found dead. She was in Lumber River State Park, North Carolina. It was a couple hours north of her home in Myrtle Beach. She'd called 911 and said she intended to remove herself from this life. She wanted her family to be able to find her. The local medical examiner ruled the death inflicted by herself, and the case was closed. But her family and those closest to her never really accepted that ending. They put her in a hospital, and they put her in a hospital. She pointed to her earlier statements that she feared her husband. They identified a history of alleged abuse. And they even looked at her own reporting that warned if she ever was found with a bullet wound, it would not have been by her own hand. Federal investigators, for what it's worth, later charged her pastor husband with cyberstalking and making false statements. Those charges were pending when the series aired last month. No one's been charged with causing her death. The documentary doesn't pretend that the homicide question is settled. It presents the family's fight for answers. It looks at the speed of the original closure of the case and the contrast between the woman who had just taken a concrete step towards leaving her husband to start a brand new life and an official conclusion after just a very brief investigation that she instead chose to take herself out. A combination of a closed local case, the federal federal follow-up, the persistent local belief that the widower pastor had some role is exactly the type of unresolved structure that true crime streaming now feeds. This cultural habit, these series train the habit of treating an official narrative as nothing more than a first draft. The habit doesn't stay inside entertainment. It migrates into politics the moment a death is made public, especially if a death is sudden or ideologically charged. And you can take, for example, the Charlie Kirk case. Charlie Kirk, of course, the co-founder of TPSA. And I'll just give you a brief summary of the official narrative. I know a lot of you disagree with it, but the official narrative is that he was shot and killed on September 10, 2025, while speaking at Utah Valley University, just 31 years old. Authorities immediately or nearly immediately identified a guy named Tyler Robinson. At the time, he was only 22. They said he was the shooter and the lone person involved in the case. He was immediately charged with aggravated murder. They said he acted a loan, and they described a political motive tied to Charlie Kirk's political positions. There's court filings. There have been subsequent hearings. They've released text messages. There was a note for the roommate. That, combined with physical evidence and statements about the planning, kind of leads to the official narrative's conclusion that Tyler Robinson acted a loan. For his part, he's pleaded not guilty after the preliminary hearing, and a judge is going to send the case to trial. Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty. That's the official account that's moved through the court. Around that official account, other conversations formed almost immediately. There was speculation than a patsy. There was talk that the shooting or whatever happened to Charlie Kirk was an inside job, that staff at TPUSA or perhaps other people were involved. And in some versions, there are stories that Erica Kirk, Charlie's widow, may also have played a role. Those claims have circulated on podcasts, social media. It's important to note that while we have discussed those conversations on this show, and we've even engaged in analyzing whether there might be any merit to those or other suspicions, we on this show have never taken a position pointing a finger at anyone else's involvement. We've researched, we've investigated, we've analyzed, sure. We've wondered if there's evidence to support a different position, sure. But we've never concluded any particular person has been involved with any particular aspect of this case. For the record, that goes with Tyler Robinson as well. We've never concluded he or anyone else shoulders any share of the responsibility at this point for Charlie Kirk's death. Erica Kirk has publicly rejected any suspicions she was involved. FBI and local prosecutors have presented Robinson as the lone gunman. So the parallel between this binge-watch culture and the Charlie Kirk case is an easy parallel to draw. But it's also easy to overstate. While watching Death of a Pastor's Wife, I couldn't help notice the similarities between the questions raised in the show and the questions raised in the show. There's a family that never accepted the ruling. And there are federal charges that at least acknowledge the husband's conduct after the death was weird. In short, looking back at the time before and after the wife's death in the series, those who knew the couple now see things that make them wonder. Treating Tyler Robinson as the lone assassin and abusing his wife is a great example of what happened to Charlie Kirk in this series. Erica Kirk may be involved as equally forbidden questions collapses those differences. There are obvious differences between what happened in the series and what happened to Charlie Kirk. The Tyler Robinson case is being litigated, for example, with physical evidence in a trial against a defendant who's entered a plea. Those aren't the facts of the miniseries. But the cultural complaint about how certain parts of an official story cannot be questioned is a real feeling. High-profile political deaths, however, produce exactly that feeling on every side, almost every time. It's not the same as saying every alternative theory is equally serious. True crime streaming has taught a generation that institutions sometimes close criminal files too quickly. They also have taught that grief and suspicion combined can be the basis for seeking additional justice. Apply carefully. That lesson is a demand for transparency. Applied indiscriminately, it becomes a machine. It converts every widow, every staffer, every political statement, every official statement into a plot point. Death of a pastor's wife belongs in the first category, stays with Micah Miller's life, documented patterns around her, the gap the family still feels. The death of Charlie Kirk is the second question, whether it's proper to extend that same template to his murder. The broader question for public policy and social order is whether it's proper to extend that same template to his murder. The broader question for public policy and social order is whether that question is even allowed to be asked. I submit the answer to that question is yes, the question should be asked. If the first question is proper, under what circumstances may people answer that same question in Charlie Kirk's case in the affirmative? And what circumstances may a case open to the investigators, the public investigators that the officials have deemed closed? So the appetite for a better story than the one on the charging documents is understandable. The question remains whether that's true in the case against Tyler Robinson. And that is as neutral as I can give an opening statement on that. I tried hard, ladies and gentlemen, to cut it right down the middle. I try to play fair on the opening statements. I try not to put my thumb on the scale one way or the other. I have serious concerns. Obviously, I've stated on time and time again about whether or not Tyler Robinson has any responsibility in this. My gut instinct is he does. But my gut instinct is also he was not the shooter. He was not the lone assassin. He did not plan and execute Charlie Kirk on his own. And if he didn't, who did? Or who helped? And so that's your opening statement. I hope you've enjoyed it as much as I have. I did want to talk about that because as I was watching the death of a pastor's wife, I kept thinking, golly, what timing. We're coming up on the one-year anniversary of Charlie Kirk's death. And they release a cultural phenomenon miniseries that everyone's watching in which they're talking about the death of a pastor's wife. And they're which everybody kind of looks at the grieving widower, in this case, the widower, the husband, the man. They look at the grieving widower and say, I'm pretty sure he did it. It's wild. It's wild. If you've not seen it, it's wild. All right, I want to get into the main headline here. I want to jump right into it. I don't want to hide the ball. I received word from a source, a source I trust, a well-placed source. And this source is close to the CEO of Turning Point USA, Erica Kirk. And the source says they are likely to keep Erica Kirk on as chair, but have recognized sort of the failure of the Erica Kirk experiment over the last year. And they want to give her time to do what a lot of us recommended from the beginning, which is go home and raise your kids. Go home and raise your kids. You don't have to be on the road all the time. You don't have to be in the office. You don't have to be, you know, jet-setting around. You're free to hang out in Scottsdale with Mac and Gigi, raise them up, talk about Charlie, teach them the way of the faith, school them, take them to school, go to ball games and all that kind of stuff. But keep her on as the chair so that the Kirk family retains some say in what happens with TPUSA. Now, the question I immediately asked was who would they use to replace her? And the answer is, I don't know that there's an answer to that question yet. I don't know that they've gotten to that yet. It's pretty wild. The source was clear that everyone around Erica Kirk knows there's an issue. They know there's an issue and they know the issue is not going anywhere soon. And they've made an effort in the last few months to kind of draw her back. If you've noticed the last couple of months have been pretty quiet around TPUSA relative to Erica Kirk. They recognize there's an issue. The public obviously has for now close to a year recognized there's an issue. And it may even be that Erica Kirk herself recognizes there's an issue. Now, let me let me give the disclaimer here. This is only as good as the source. I am not the source. I am not the one inside TPUSA. I'm not the one engaged in these discussions. I cannot say with 100% certainty that this is true, but I can say with 100% certainty, I believe the source and I believe these conversations have taken place. I can say, that I also have a source about a recent TPUSA faith event before we get to the content of that source. I want to go back to something that happened at a recent TPUSA faith event. There was a picture that circulated. I'll show you that picture. Now, there was a picture that circulated and it is this picture. You guys remember this picture? This was the flag. This was the flag of another nation hanging inside a church at a TPUSA faith event. To the credit, there was an American flag on the other side, but these were the only two flags of the world that were hanging at this event. There was an American flag on the left-hand side and a flag of another nation on the right-hand side, the blue and white team on the other side. And the question was, actually, I'll show you. I've got a picture of the whole setup here. The question was, who put that flag there? People looked and they saw previous services at this church from the week before, the month before, and the flags weren't there. It led to the obvious conclusion that the flag was put up for this event. Did the church put this flag up for this event? Did TPUSA faith put this flag up for this event? Did they recommend this flag be put up? No one knew the answer to that. Andrew Colvette came out. He came out and said the following. Essentially, we didn't have anything to do with it. I'm going to tell you right now, I don't necessarily agree with this, but I'm going to show it to you just to be fair. We didn't put up the flags. This is Andrew Colvette, PR for TPUSA. We didn't request them. The church put them up all on their own. We don't micromanage churches, especially when they're gracious enough to host us. For my part, I don't like putting flags up. I don't like putting up foreign flags at all. Count me in your group, Andrew. I don't either. I don't want a flag of Ukraine or Russia or Australia or the United Kingdom or Israel or Saudi Arabia or anyone else. Let's just have an American flag up or no flag at all. It's a church. Why do we need any flags? Whether it's Ukraine, Israel, Mexico, Palestine, et cetera. I don't even like the American-Israel or America-Ukraine lapel pins. Well, I'm going to come back to this in just a moment. He may not like it, but do other people at TPUSA like it? We're going to get to that. to that in just a second. Many churches we work with feel the same way I do, but despite what some on this platform would have you believe, we don't control world events, let alone regulate how an independent church in El Paso chooses to decorate its sanctuary. But there's a whole corner of the internet that apparently has nothing better to do than to react to all the things we're doing, which is a lot. They don't register voters. They don't host events, let alone attend any. They don't organize. All they do is complain and blackpill. Anyway, thanks for all the free attention. See you at the next tour stop. And I got to be careful how I say this, because I don't want to out my source. But in short, this source was part of a group. And in the event. That this group attended, a TPUSA event. On the table were exactly what Andrew Colvette said he didn't like. You know, he said he didn't like the lapel pins with the American and Israeli flags. Well, would you be shocked to learn that on the table setting was American and Israeli flags? Kind of teamed up with each other? And that the sum total of the entire event was basically, here's why everyone should love our greatest ally? And it was complete with kind of, let's get some feedback on what people are saying in your churches and your communities and on your social media feeds about our greatest ally. I just am starting to not believe anything these people say. Or Andrew Colvette is just not plugged in. Because this is. A promo for the next, or one of the next, Make Heaven Crowded events. This is in Austin, Texas, at the Vintage Church, October 14, 2026. We've got a list of speakers. Most of you have never heard of these speakers. Lucas Miles, Stephen Martin, Graham Allen. But zoom in and notice what our TPUSA faith event speaker in the middle is wearing. Now, you're free to wear whatever you want. You can wear whatever you want. Most people who are representing themselves as Christian pastors might wear a cross or nothing at all. You're not beating the charges, is my point. When that's the picture you choose to put on your promo, when those are the types of events you have for groups that attend your TPUSA events, when that's the type of feedback you're soliciting from people, you're not beating the charges. You're not convincing anybody that that flag was placed there by mistake. It looks like you're not telling the truth. It looks like you're lying. And I don't know any other way to say it. But you guys have got to understand that we see what you're doing. This is why we call it TPUSA 2.0. Not only making fun of Erica, Kirk for calling it TPUSA 2.0. But because this was not Charlie. This is not what TPUSA was prior to Charlie. It was not obsessed with other countries and their foreign policy positions. I don't understand how you guys don't get it. And because I don't understand how you don't get it, I do believe you do get it. I believe you don't care. That your concerns, you answer to a higher calling than the public. And when I hire calling, I don't mean God. I mean foreign policy positions. I think it's gross. I think it's a gross misuse of Christianity. I think it's a gross misuse of politicking under the guise of Christianity. And to the extent Erica Kirk is responsible for any of it, and I don't know whether she is. Maybe Lucas Miles is responsible for all of it. He's the head of TPUSA faith after all. To the extent someone is responsible for this incessant push on this issue, they should probably be removed. You're losing the public on this issue. You want to know why she's having to step down? Or the rumors are that she's having to step down? You want to know why? This is a major issue. People are free to have these foreign policy beliefs. Reasonable minds can disagree on whether or not intervention in Iran, for example, is appropriate. But I'm not sure the church is the place to air this out. I'm not sure that that's appropriate. So I leave that there. I don't want to make too big of a deal out of it. I don't want to say too much more. But I do want you to know that your people, your people are talking, right? Your people around you are talking. The people closest to you guys are still talking. They don't like what's happening. They don't like the direction this is headed. They're eager to see her go. They're eager to see, well, they're eager to see her slip into a new role, a less day-to-day management role. And this is one of the reasons why. This is a big part of the reason why. So if you want to regain the trust, I'm telling you, I could turn TPSA around a week. It would, it would involve transparency and, and realigning your values with what Charlie Kirk was preaching the final couple of years of his life. That's it. It would be that easy. It would, it would take no more than that. Complete transparency. Stop gaslighting people. Stop saying something when the facts are directly in opposition to it. Answer questions, reasonable questions that are posed by a great number of your fans and followers. If you're an interested public that loved Charlie Kirk and wanted to know what happened to him, keep in mind, I'll say this time and time again, because it's true. And I think you guys forget it. The only reason anyone on earth knows who Andrew Colvette is outside of the Colvette family is because of Charlie Kirk. The only reason anyone knows who Blake Sneff is outside of the Sneff family is because of Charlie Kirk. And dare I say it, the only reason anyone knows who Erica Kirk is outside of the Kirk family is because of Charlie Kirk. And for you guys to do this to his legacy, to crap all over his legacy, to turn him into something he definitely was not, to take every foreign policy position, every policy position he had, every friendship position he had and say, you know, secretly he believed exactly the opposite of what he said publicly. It's not cutting it. It's really getting bad. We're coming up on the one year anniversary of his death. It's going to hit a lot of people hard here this week. We're three days away. It's Monday. Now we're talking Thursday. We'll be at one year. And there are a lot of people who are pretty disgusted with what you guys are doing. Why don't we use the one year anniversary to dial all this back, reposition ourselves more in line with what he actually would have wanted, how he actually would have led this organization and stop lying to people. Remember his advice to Andrew. We don't lie. We don't lie. And while you're not lying, why don't we go through and look at some things Charlie Kirk said about a particular media operation and then analyze how you guys chose to proceed as his one year anniversary. Approached. I want to show you some thoughts. Charlie Kirk had on the New York times. Here is one example. This is from July 4th, 2023. Instead of simply reporting the facts that a federal judge just delivered a blockbuster injunction in Missouri versus Biden, blocking this administration from outsourcing its censorship regime to social media companies. The New York times spends it as a ruling that could curtail efforts to fight this disinformation, pure propaganda. That was Charlie Kirk's thoughts on the New York times, pure propaganda. Well, is that the only thing he ever said? No, not at all. For example, he also said this in 2024, New York times is being accused by racism by its own union. Management's trying to figure out who leaked information about an episode of the, a daily, which discussed intimate violence and Hamas is October 7th attacks. The news guild of New York and ledges staff has been targeted for their national origin, ethnicity and race. New York times management denies the charges. When you hire a bunch of petulant entitled activists who front as reporters, that's what he thinks of the New York times, a bunch of petulant entitled activists who front as reporters. Don't see, be surprised when they eventually call you a racist in the service of the woke agenda. Yeah. That's Charlie Kirk on the New York Times. Petulant, entitled propagandists. That was in 2024. Now let's go to November 2024 to hear more about Charlie Kirk's thoughts on the New York Times. This is what passes for a fact check at the New York Times. The media lie a lot, but fortunately for us, they are also very stupid. So what did he think about the New York Times? Very stupid liars. Very stupid liars. Okay. That was November 17th of 2024. How about November 24th of 2024? Charlie Kirk have anything to say about the New York Times on that day? Yes. As a matter of fact, he did. New York Times is so committed to the trans insanity that they've now resorted to describing good old-fashioned women as non-transgender women. Good thing. We're the media now. Ironic that they tried to launch a war against trans movement on the death of Charlie Kirk when this is what he thought about the New York Times. We'll get to why all this discussion in the New York Times is valuable in just a second. Well, geez, Barron, that's four or five different quotes about the New York Times. Surely you're done. Oh, baby, we're just getting started. He had strong opinions about the New York Times. For example, this from March of 2025. The New York Times is back to agitating in favor of crime. They want you to think a man jumped a turnstile then was instantly gunned down by bloodthirsty police. If you bother to read the text, you'll learn a man jumps a turnstile while carrying a knife. Police approach him, tell him to put the knife down. Man refuses, starts screaming, shoot me. Cops use tasers, which don't work. The man charges at police. Only then do they open fire. How does he refer to the New York Times? Absolutely disgusting pro-crime trash. Fortunately, nobody is falling for this anymore. Americans are sick of living in fear for every subway ride. Because the left wants violent maniacs to roam with impunity. Charlie Kirk on the New York Times. Okay. Okay. Anything else, man? I mean, this is, I think we get it, brother. You don't like them. Oh, yes, there's more. There's more about Charlie Kirk's thoughts on the New York Times. This is crazy. This New York Times article claims we need to broaden the definition of death so that hospitals can consider more patients legally dead in order to harvest more organs. I'm sure this won't be abused at all by big medicine. Trust the science. He's calling the New York Times pro-death. The New York Times arguing we need to broaden the definition of death. Well, surely when something's published in the New York Times, at least he thinks it's true, right? Well, not exactly. Not exactly. How about Charlie Kirk on the New York Times ability to fact check? Current state of the New York Times fact checks. At least D.C. isn't as bad as Cape Town or Haiti. The left does half of our PR work. The left does half of our PR work for us. The left. Remember the people that Charlie Kirk thought was trying to kill him, according to Smokeboy? The left is trying to kill me. I'm somewhat worried the left is going to kill me. He'd repented of all his ill will towards the good people of the New York Times, right? Well, no, not exactly. But dear CNN, WAPO, New York Times, ABC, NBC, etc. If you want to know why your ratings are in the tank and no one likes you, no one likes the New York Times. The ratings are in the tank. Look no further than the brutal unaliving of Irina Zerutska, who moved to the U.S. to escape the war in Ukraine. A story you refuse to tell. Sadly, she couldn't survive the Democrats' criminal justice system. Yet you, New York Times, wouldn't shut up or stop villainizing Daniel Penny, a hero who was probably. Stopped a murder just like hers. Why? Because he was a straight white American male and the perp was black. That is Charlie Kirk three days before he passed away, September 7th, 2025. Decrying the New York Times as trash that no one likes. Whose ratings are in the tank. It wasn't just his Twitter feed, though. He actually said things on his podcast as well. Here. Excuse me. Just a few months after Charlie Kirk passed. You want to understand the world? Why are you going on and on about the New York Times? Well, it's important. It's important for one reason that Charlie Kirk hated him so much when they asked to interview him. He said no. He actually refused to be interviewed. By the New York Times. Here is an article. I'll show you the headline in a second. I want to get to the money line here. Being banned from Twitter is a badge of honor among some conservatives. However, and it did little to stop Mr. Kirk, who declined an interview request for this article. Well, what was the article? For Charlie Kirk, conservative activist, the virus is a cudgel. This is back in 2020, the height of COVID mania. And Charlie Kirk would not sit for an interview with the New York Times when they wanted his opinion on something. He didn't deem them worthy of a response. He did participate, from what we could tell, in only one piece the New York Times has ever done. That's the only thing we could find. This was a piece originally written on February 10th, 2025. Updated two days after he passed away, how Charlie Kirk became the youth whisperer of the American right, collecting donors, voters, TikTok viewers, and high-powered friends on his way into Trump's inner circle is the only time we could find that Charlie Kirk had agreed to be interviewed by the New York Times. So why do we say all this? Well. Because this morning, this came out. A guest essay in the opinion section of the New York Times. Erica Kirk. What I've learned about grief. That's this morning, September 7th, 2026, 5.03 a.m. Eastern Time. By Erica Kirk, the widow of Charlie Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA. So she goes on, there's really nothing new in here. There's really nothing new in here. I'll go through it in just a second, maybe. But I find it interesting that twice now, at pivotal moments since Charlie Kirk passed, Erica Kirk has chosen to give the New York Times preference to her thoughts. We just looked at the one from this morning. We also have this that was from September 18th, eight days after Charlie Kirk passed. For Erica Kirk, a husband's life cut short by violence he seemed to foresee. In an interview, the wife of the conservative activist, Charlie Kirk said she had implored him to wear a bulletproof vest. But she sees divine work in his death. This aired September, this went to print September 21, but it was September 18th, I believe, that she sat down for this interview. It's interesting that this interview took place in the family home, the home she shared with Charlie Kirk. The home in which Charlie Kirk probably penned most of those thoughts, or many of those thoughts, about the very organization she has now chosen to team up with. The New York Times. Eight days afterwards. She wasn't sitting down with conservative outlets that Charlie Kirk liked. So was it Newsmax? So was it Fox News? She did do a Fox News piece with Jesse Waters, but that was later. Months later. The first national splash she did after he passed was with the very organization that Charlie Kirk called pure propaganda, trash, agitating in favor of crime, crazy, unstable, dishonest, liars. But when he passes, that's right where she runs. Why? It's the gray lady. It's the newspaper of record. If you want to be widely circulated, there's no better place in the United States to go than the New York Times. But I would argue if your husband despised the New York Times, refused to participate in most anything they did, constantly criticized them, called them all sorts of terrible names, it's a little bit of a slap in the face to invite them into the family home. It's a little bit of a slap in the face. To sit down with them in the family home. Not surprised. I'll cover that in a second. And I think it's an even bigger slap in the face coming up on the one year anniversary to publish your intimate thoughts on your healing. The very intimate moments. The first time you walked into the shared Beth bedroom, smelled his pillow, looked at his bathroom towel. I mean, all the things she talked about. It's a, it's a huge slap in the face on coming up three days short of the one year anniversary to then publish your most intimate thoughts on his death in that same publication. The one he hated, the one he thought was trash. I don't know who's advising this woman. I doubt she picked up the phone. And called the New York times herself. Maybe she did. I don't know whose idea this is, but I would suggest one of two things. Either they're the worst PR people in the history of mankind. They don't understand the conservative movement. They don't understand the movement, Charlie Kirk led, or they're trying to sabotage her. They want her gone. She may be in the way of something they were trying to accomplish. They want to make her look bad. They want to spit on Charlie's memory. I can't think of a third option. I can't think of a third option between terrible PR agent. One of the worst that's ever been in the business at all, ever at any level. Failed screenwriter, whatever. I don't know who, who recommended this. Or that someone is actually a pretty good PR agent, but wants her to look awful. Those are the only two options. I can come up with. If you can come up with a third option, tell me, I don't know what it could be. It wasn't just that she actually went to the New York times book summit. If you remember back in December wearing a Cape, you remember when she wore a Cape at the New York times book summit, we did a whole, I think we did a whole episode on this or a part of an episode on this Erica Kirk takes on the mantle of leader. A leading turning point USA, the widow of Charlie Kirk promoted conciliation and portrayed her late husband as a seeker of dialogue. I know one organization he didn't seek dialogue with the New York times. There was no dialogue seeking. He considered them the enemy undermining American values, undermining peace, undermining prosperity, a bastion of racism, a bastion of trash propaganda. I think it's time to hang up the failed Erica Kirk experiment. I do. I understand why they made that decision in the immediate aftermath. I really honestly do. I think particularly had Tyler Robinson not survived to turn himself in, I think it would have been probably an effective appointment to put Erica Kirk at the top. But as the case began to unfold as retired green beret snipers began looking at the wound saying that doesn't look right as military operators, more and more of them came online and started looking at this and thought, that doesn't look like a 30 odd six shot to me. And then people started looking and saying, what are all these people doing around Charlie Kirk? Did they even try to save his life under the table? Why, why does it not look like they're rendering life-saving aid? What are they doing? It looks like they're just grabbing stuff. What are all these people doing? People doing handoffs. Who's running around in the background? Where did Mikey McCoy go? Why did he grab his ears and wander off? As people started asking these questions, it became a real obstacle having somebody there who is relatively unqualified and acting very strange. A $3,000 cape. Daisy's telling me that's a $3,000 cape. I could have made one for 50 bucks. Give me a bolt of cloth and some scissors. I could have tied it like I do Tilly's bandanas. Just double knot those babies, leave a couple fingers so that she doesn't choke. That's fantastic. That's fantastic. A $3,000 cape at the New York book summit. What is that? Oh, we've got, we've got the actual cape. Are you serious? Wow. It's a $4,000 cape. I'm not, I don't falter for wearing nice clothes. I falter for wearing a cape. That's what I falter. I don't falter for wearing a $4,188 item of clothing. That's what I look. If you want to wear expensive clothes, that's great. You want to wear a cape? That's where you and I part ways. I'm just being honest, ladies and gentlemen. That's where I part ways with you. I can no longer accept the cape. Now, I want to switch gears ever so slightly. Actually, I want to show you this here. Andrew Colvette has weighed in. He must not be in the know. I leave open the possibility my source is wrong. I don't think he is, but I leave open the fact that my source may be wrong. But on this thing today, Andrew says news to me that Erica Kirk may step down as CEO. Remain on as chair of TPSA. I mean, look, your reporting is only good as your source. I leave open the possibility the source is wrong. But I would think if one of them was wrong, it's going to be Andrew Colvette. Because I don't want to go on and say any more. But Andrew, I'm not sure you're going to survive the transition either, my friend. That's probably why you don't know about it. I'm being honest. Go eat some more food. Back to stress eating, big boy. All right. I want to switch gears because somebody found a nice piece of video that I had not seen until today. And we get several good pieces of information out of it. We know that on the day Charlie passed, there was an unusual set of circumstances that took him far away from campus to Salt Lake City. He left. He appeared at a restaurantology event. We've played a portion of that on the show in the past. He did a sort of a Q&A type interview with a leader of a trade group of restaurant owners, restauranteurs. It was in Salt Lake City. They flew into Salt Lake City, landed the plane, and then rented some SUVs and drove down to Orem, Utah, where Utah Valley University is. That's where the event was, where his life, unfortunately, was taken. There were a couple of things we've noticed. Number one is most of his security team, in fact, nearly all, I would say, of his security team were in Orem while he was in Salt Lake City. In the video I'm about to show you, I don't see any security at all. I see no security anywhere in the vicinity. And Charlie Kirk's just out on a public highway talking. So I was a little concerned by that. That's the first thing we noticed. The second thing we noticed is. It actually caused him to be late for the event at Orem. And so late, in fact, that he had to, like, hustle up and go to a bathroom in order to get down and be seated, I think, six or eight minutes after the event was scheduled to start. The event at UVU was scheduled to start at 12 o'clock sharp, and it did not. In fact, there was going to be a little meet and greet with some of the volunteers beforehand. That got canceled because he was late. It's a little unusual, I would say. be an hour away from all your security detail at a public event at an event where people are. And he was with a guy named Christopher, we believe. He was with a guy named Christopher. Christopher is the one member of the security team I don't think anybody can identify. Candace has shown pictures of him. I think we showed pictures of him a couple of episodes ago. All over social media, people have shown pictures of this Christopher. Nobody can seem to identify him. Nobody has a last name. Nobody even knows if that's really his first name. Brian Harpole on the Sean Ryan show did reference a guy named Chris. So we believe that's probably the same person. On the dash of Charlie Kirk's Denali as he's driving in, there's the name Christopher. This is Christopher's iPhone. But I think it's a little unusual that there's a guy named Christopher no one's ever heard from, that no one knows his true identity. And he seemed to be more the body man that day than Dan Flood or Brian Harpole. So that's kind of number one thing we've noticed. But now we have imagery coming out from that morning. Now we'll open up here. Oh, wrong one. Hold on. That's not the one I intended to open with. There, that one. So there's the Denali he comes in on. This is a short video. It starts here and then it backs out. This is obviously someone parked across the street that noticed Charlie and pulled out their camera and started filming. Now, let's just put this in the context of the fact that he'd be dead an hour and a half later. Is there anyone remotely concerned by this situation? That he's out on a public street? That as we zoom in, there is no security around him? He's completely exposed. Yet there's somebody sitting across the street that far away that recognizes him, pulls out a camera and starts filming. You guys remember the last thing Charlie texted? One of his security professionals the night before. I'm somewhat worried the left is going to kill me or maybe I'm somewhat worried they are going to kill me. Remember, you only have one job. It's to keep me alive. Remember that? Somebody climbed up on a roof in front of a crowded amphitheater. May have taken a shot from there. Either way, he left dead. Then he had like 12 security people standing around him and he still died. Here you have him exposed on a public street in Salt Lake City. No security to be found. No one standing next to him. No one looking around, making sure nobody's sitting across the street with eyes on him. I would argue this would have. It would have been an easier shot if you wanted to take Charlie out. It seems closer. He seems more open. Why was there no security around? This is a pretty damning image right here. It's a pretty damning image right there. Now, so we got this inside the car. I mean, look how easy that would be. A couple other things we noticed. One, first thing we notice here when this picture clears up, right behind, right, I guess, in front of the mail car, there's a guy getting in the car. That is Nate Walker. So now we know Nate was up there with him. I think that was a question before. But now we know Nate Walker was actually in Salt Lake City with him. We don't know who that woman is with him. Is that somebody from the restaurant event or whatever? But look, look how open Charlie is. I don't know who this guy is on the left with the beard. He's not wearing the Charlie Kirk security uniform of the day, which seemed to be brown or gray flannel with brown shoes with white soles. He doesn't seem to be close enough to Charlie to prevent any harm. And I don't see anybody between Charlie and the car. Except three people who seem to be with this trade group because they come out here in a moment. I'm going to turn the volume down. I don't know if there is volume, but I'm going to turn it down. And they seem to come out in a minute and start taking pictures. Now, he obviously had a chance to change clothes there. Obviously, he had a chance to change clothes because these are the clothes he would be in when he passed away at Utah Valley University. But I find this kind of shocking, frankly. I'm going to let it play for just another minute because there's one more thing we notice. Well, you kind of got to see it before she zooms in. But both of the SUVs are there. You remember Blake Neff didn't know where he went? He just went to mark time. If you look behind this postal carrier right here, you've got a postal carrier driving what looks to be some kind of minivan or something. And both SUVs are right there. I don't know if you can see this super clearly through all the YouTube compression, but it's there. You've got the car Charlie's going to get in and the car behind him, which seems to be a mostly identical Yukon. Here's the point I'm going to make on this. I think this is evidence Blake Neff is a liar. In my opinion, allegedly. Allegedly, Blake. Keep your lawyers at bay, Blake. I'm covered with allegedly here. I think this makes Blake Neff a liar. Blake Neff came into an accident. X space. I'm not going to play it because I think there was some foul language on there and people were talking over each other. I'll just explain what happened. I've explained it before and I think I've played the clips. Blake Neff went into an X space a few months ago. While he was in the X space, someone asked him. I think it was Muppet Masher on X. He said, hey, Blake, before the event, where did you go? He said, what do you mean? I flew in on a private jet. Where did you go? Did you go to the event with Charlie? No, I didn't go to the event with Charlie. Well, where did you go? I don't know. I'm paraphrasing here subject to getting some of the words wrong, but I think the sentiment is correct. And he eventually says, I don't know where we went. The guy says, well, did you go to Orem? Did you go to the college campus? Did you, where did you go? And he said, I don't know. We went somewhere and marked time. I think this right here, this image here with both the SUVs lined up back to back as Charlie's leaving, including the SUV that Blake showed up. In with Danny Phillips driving. I think it's probably a 99.9% certainty that Blake is sitting in the backseat of that SUV right there. And Danny Phillips is driving. If you went to the event to mark time, if you just parked behind Charlie's SUV, how would you not know where you were? The answer to that question would be easy. Well, where did you go before the event? Well, we drove to the event. We just didn't go into the Salt Lake City event. We just sat in the parking lot. But I went somewhere to mark time indicates you did not go to the event. You did not go sit in the parking lot. You didn't sit in this alleyway. You didn't sit on site. You must have gone somewhere else to mark time. Where did you go? I think this is evidence he's lying or that they, well, let me say this. I think it's evidence they might've gone somewhere else. I also think it's noteworthy that Blake was in the back seat and Danny was driving. Indicates to me that when they went somewhere to mark time, someone else may have been in the front seat. Surely Blake is not so high profile that he's like, Daniel, drive me around. Show for me, fat boy. Yes. I'm going to sit in the back back here all by my lonesome while we mark time. And I'll be back here. Should you need anything? Young Daniel. I think it's far more likely there was someone in the front seat. And when they showed back up, that person jumped in the car with Charlie or they dropped them off and they went somewhere and Blake just thought, hell, I'm already in the back. I'll just hang out back here. Go on, follow him, follow him to Orem. I think that's probably more likely. So the questions on the table for Blake are, is that where you were the whole time? If so, why don't you know that? Were you just at the restaurant ology event that appears to be in Salt Lake kind of downtown area? Just parked in the parking lot or parked in an alleyway with Charlie's SUV. And you're just hanging out. I don't know what you're working on, but working on your computer, playing snake on your Nokia 3310. I mean, what are you doing? I think that question is now still on the table. Seeing what we see here. Because by the time they leave the restaurant ology event to head back to Orem, the SUV is very much back at the restaurant ology event. It's not like they went to Dunkin. And just kind of hung out at Dunkin. And when I say Dunkin, I know in this case, I have to specify Dunkin Donuts. I'm talking about Dunkin Aviation. Not like they went to Dunkin Donuts. And hung out at Dunkin Donuts eating, you know, ice drinking iced caramel macchiatos. © transcript Emily Beynon because then you'd say, well, we went and got a cup of coffee. But I think he should now be forced to answer this question again. Where did you go, Blake? And to the extent you're unwilling to answer it, I think we have at least a reasonable suspicion that you were up to no good. I think this raises reasonable suspicion you were up to no good. You're sitting in the back seat of a car that Danny Phillips is driving. No one's in the front seat. You're parked directly behind Charlie Kirk. And you don't know where you were. You don't remember if you went to the event. You don't remember where you went. Are you on narcotics? I'm not joking. Do you take drugs? Is there some reason you would not have your mental faculties that morning to remember where you went or that night to remember where you stayed? Because on that same X-Base, he was unable to say where he stayed that night, whether he stayed in Orem or something. Salt Lake, he said he thought he stayed in Orem. That's where UVU is. The rest of the team stayed in Salt Lake. He came back a few days later, I think, and tried to correct that and say he actually stayed in Salt Lake with everyone else. I don't know that I believe that either. I think these people are fundamentally dishonest people. I genuinely do. I genuinely think they're blatantly, fundamentally dishonest people. And I'm beginning to see that every single piece of evidence that comes out tends to favor that. Tends to favor that interpretation. There's no way you didn't know where you were if you drove to the event and parked behind Charlie's SUV and waited for him to finish his interview. That's not marking time. That's just like hanging out. That's just sitting there waiting for him to finish. Marking time is like, I know he's going to be done at 11. We've got to be back by 11. So let's make sure by 1045 we're headed back that way. So that we're in line with his SUV when it's time to go. So that Charlie's not late. Now, I would suggest TPUSA. This is an obvious security failure the entire day. From now on, when one of your protectees is out and about, maybe put a security guy on him. Maybe put, maybe survey the danger a little better. Because if somebody's across the street recording you and zooming in, you're going to be in trouble. You're going to be in trouble. They can take you out. And he had said the night before he feared that was going to happen to him. Feared so much that they upped the number of security personnel they had. He was asking them about the lay of the land. And he said, remember, you have one job tomorrow. Okay, well, we're that concerned. We're going to put one guy on you, but he's not going to be standing anywhere near you while you're out in public. We're just going to have him. I guess in the car while you're out taking pictures on a public road while people across the street recognize you and you're a sitting duck and they zoom in on you. I think there's one more question. Who the hell took this video? Who was this? I don't know that we have an answer. We know what tick tock it showed up on, but I don't know that we know. I don't know that we know who actually took the video. So I. That's just my recommendation. That's that's my recommendation. Now, if you believe, as I do, if you believe, as I do, that whether or not you agreed with everything, Charlie Kirk said that he was a once in a generation talent, that he's essentially irreplaceable. I mean, there are people like that. Right. Rush Limbaugh was that way. You know, there were there was a lot of discussion who would take over his radio show after he passed. The answer is really nobody. I think Clay Travis and some guy named Buck. I can't think of his last name. I think they sort of have that spot, but it's not the same. It's not the Rush Limbaugh show. And obviously, TPSA went with Erica Kirk. It's obviously not the same. The organizations in free fall, people aren't showing up to their events. They're they're giving away tickets and. Canceling events and Erica is now mailing in sort of may or may not be AI generated 30 second videos instead of showing up at places. I think there's a lesson there in for everyone else. I think there's a lesson there for everybody else remaining behind at TPSA. There's this. Approach they've taken where they get snarky and mean where they're hiring a bunch of people. Or they've got all these hanger ons and all they do is attack, attack, attack, attack, attack. And they try to create dissension and discord in and call everyone liars and con man and demonic and all this kind of stuff. I would argue that a far better approach would be to just be honest. Take the Charlie Kirk approach. You might have disagree with Charlie Kirk's foreign policy. I certainly did until the very end. I did notice the last year or two. He started coming around to see things my way. And not that he even knew who I was. I sincerely doubt he did. But his foreign policy views started aligning with mine a little more towards the end of his life. But I would argue that the snarkiness, the meanness is having the opposite effect that you guys think it might be having. And maybe it's time to retire it. I'm not one of those people that want to see TPSA fail necessarily. I want to see this iteration of TPSA fail. I think that what you guys have turned it into is horrific. And I don't want to see it fail. But the idea that there's a place, a common ground for conservative college students to sort of call home, I don't think there's anything fundamentally wrong with that. I think that probably serves a pretty good purpose. Whether they divide up into chapters or they just have a social media feed they follow or anything like that. I mean, there's good in that, right? I'm a big fan of speech. I'm a big fan of free speech and political expression. I think people have a right to congregate with other like-minded people, whether that's in their church or political groups. I was a big fan of the Tea Party. I actually kind of like the Occupy Wall Street movement. I didn't like their objectives and their ideals, but I like the fact that there was some sort of common ground for people to sort of air out their grievances. Wasn't a big fan of the Black Lives Matter movement, only because it sort of turned violent at times. But to the extent things don't turn violent, I kind of like when people have a common source of inspiration. I'm a big fan of national holidays, I'm a big fan of things like the Super Bowl, not because I care who wins the Super Bowl, but because I like when everybody's sort of doing the same thing. I love driving around neighborhoods near Christmas and everybody's got decorations up, driving around near Halloween, I don't even like Halloween. I think I hate that, it's one of my least favorite holidays, but I like the fact that everybody sort of decorates. It gives us a sense of shared identity, it gives us something in common when we have something in common with our neighbors. We are less likely to be violent, we're less likely to seek things like revolution and overthrowing stuff. We're less likely to turn desperate. We sense commonality, and to the extent that TPSA provides some measure of commonality on college campuses, I'm in favor of that. I actually am in favor of that. I don't love that they're pushing this crazy foreign policy political position on people and basically using it as a litmus test whether you're a good conservative or whether you're a good person. I don't like that. I don't like their new obsession with our greatest ally, or reverting to maybe their old obsession with our greatest ally. I'm not a big fan of that necessarily. But I'm not one of these people, and I know there are some, like Z Cohen just wants TPSA to fail, that's it. She hates conservatism, she hates conservatives, and she wants them to fail. I'm not a fan of that. I'm not a fan of that at all. But what I think you guys need to take away from this is, you're causing it to fail. This approach you guys have taken, that anybody who asks the obvious questions at this point, did Tyler Robinson kill Charlie Kirk? Oh, you're the enemy. Why? Why? Did Charlie Kirk believe the foreign policy objectives being advocated for right now by the Trump administration? Did he believe those were correct at this point in time? Is Erica Kirk the right person to lead TPSA? Speaking of, you know who's coming around on my way of thinking? Let me see if I can find it. Where did it go? I can't remember what word she used. Well, we'll just read through it, because I want to find this. This is this, and I don't want to waste a bunch of time looking for it. Let me pull the New York Times thing back up, because I think Erica Kirk is starting to maybe come around on this one particular issue, and I think it's noteworthy, if nothing else. Where did it go? She said. She's talking about Tyler. robinson and she it's the first time i've heard her say that she she doesn't 100 believe he did it now where did it go it shocked me when i read it but i can't find it though i can't remember if she used the word alleged daisy do you see it in there anywhere i can't remember how she said it now finally but i would i would strongly encourage people to stop attacking the people who have legitimate questions about what happened tpsa needs to stop attacking them they need to stop attacking them with their employees and their surrogates like blake neff and andrew colvette they need to stop attacking them with their little hangers-on and wannabes um on x and all these social media feeds they need to stop and here's why right now i read a poll today that i think 49 of americans polled identify as democrats only 39 identify as republicans that's great you know whatever who cares that's just a snapshot in time but then i read that in 2024 november of 2024 republicans actually had a two-point advantage in that same analysis meaning 12 have flipped they've primarily flipped on one issue the war in iran people are sick of it they're tired of it and when you guys come out and attack us for asking questions you're lumping everybody into the same set that you know you're trying to say oh these are just leftists trying to divide it no not at all i i'd be hard pressed to be described as a leftist most of the people i know would be hard-pressed to be described as leftists nevertheless we have questions nevertheless we want to know what happened to him we don't want to see someone who did not shoot charlie kirk go to jail for shooting charlie kirk if in fact he didn't did you find it there it is the man accused of murdering my husband that's the first time i've heard any hedging whatsoever now it's possible the new york times added that as a little bit of a hedge that was sort of a condition we'll publish this but we're not going to let you accuse him of doing it we're going to have to say the man accused of doing it but if those were indeed erica's words or blake neff's words or andrew kovac's words or whoever wrote that that's the first bit of hedging i've heard out of tp usa in a long time you remember erica kirk stood up and said the man who shot my husband i forgive him that was like 11 days in there was really no investigation yet they didn't even know how far the shot allegedly came from at that point i think we had barely i think i don't think we'd seen any of the video footage the footage from behind uh candace owens had just seen it a day or two before and reported on it this was very early on and it's been a consistent message ever over and over and over they just talked as if it's a fact that he's the one that did it that was the first little hedge we've gotten maybe it's a corner they're turning i don't know maybe it's a corner of the attorney but i would i would i would argue that you guys are doing more damage right now this is where i was headed with this and i'm kind of close with this you guys are doing more damage right now by pushing back on this investigation and by lumping anyone who has any questions in with the left you're damaging the right you're damaging the movement you claim to care about you're damaging the prospects for a success in an election that you guys claim to want if you call someone a leftist enough eventually they say well i guess i'm not one on the right i'm not voting for you if you don't want me and then they don't vote if they have any kind of influence they just tell other people i don't care if you vote or not you'd make up your own mind no i think what you guys need are people out there vociferously supporting people voting for conservative candidates and they're not going to do it not with your attitude because we don't want to reward people like you a lot of us on my side of this investigation a lot of us asking questions about who killed charlie kirk how and why view any success in the midterms as rewarding you and i don't want to reward you i don't want to reward you i don't want to reward bad behavior i don't want Because if the judge rules, the evidence is not admissible. How much of a record do you want out there about the evidence? So that might be more closed. I don't know. But the 702 hearings, I think, should be pretty open. And those will be very interesting to me. We'll learn a lot about the defense theory and the prosecution theory of the case. What is the defense asking for that the prosecution is refusing to provide? What excuses is the prosecution offering for not giving everything the defense is asking for?
