Donald Trump's administration is the most out of touch and corrupt in American history, and it comes at a time in which the average American is worse off than they have been in decades, and it is that combination that makes Donald Trump and everyone in his White House so unpopular. But that is every day. What makes today so especially bad? Well, it's what one top White House official who probably will get fired, what they posted, champagne and gold and let them eat cake and parties, and it is blown up in Trump's face. It is blown up in the face of everyone in the White House. So White House, with more billionaires than any other administration, we know these are rich people who only care about rich people, but boy, are they making it obvious right now? I want to get into it all, but this video really is about the broader corruption happening in Donald Trump's White House, which I believe should start with a conversation about an ad that you might be seeing right now if you're watching TV or if you're even watching YouTube. And it is one that says paid for by the US government. Yes, Donald Trump is running ads with your money. It should say paid for by the US taxpayer against our will. It is a blatantly political ad for Donald Trump and you and I are footing the bill. It is so bad that a Republican Senator this morning called it out in the lead up to this insane post that we're going to get into that's going to get a top White House official fired. You're talking about concern about wasteful spending. You were very sharp in your questioning of then-secretary Christie Nome in regard to some ads that DHS had been running using taxpayer money to bolster her public image. Our viewers are going to see a 30-second commercial on this program. It's on all major networks. It's on the cable networks as well. It prominently features President Trump. And there's a voice praising him as, quote, the toughest, most resilient person I ever met. And at the end, it says paid for by the US government. Is that the best use of taxpayer money? Well, first is to secretary Nome. What she did was master class dumb. She spent $220 million on commercials about her and I called her out on. This looks like a commercial about President Trump. I was just going to say, Margaret, I don't think any public official, including President Trump or Christie Nome or John Kennedy, should spend public money on private ads for themselves. Now, the White House sees it differently. But I think there ought to be a rule that you can't, well, it probably isn't rule. You can't spend public money to promote yourself. I'm going to, I may end up with a sombre on my head, but I also think that we ought to have a rule that no politician can have a building named after him while he's alive. I think that would settle a lot of this controversy. We have that rule in Louisiana. It works pretty well. Well, we'll watch center if you introduce that. Donald Trump running an ad with our tax dollars promoting himself. And by the way, this is an ad from 2024. And which Trump says he's going to get out the deep state in the war mongers, which is like, brother, that is you. That's your administration. You are the elites. You are the establishment. So I don't really know what you're talking about here. But Donald Trump doing that, wasting our tax dollars when all he does is waste our tax dollars on gold, horses, NDC, a billion dollar ballroom. Nobody wants billions of dollars every single week on a war that we are losing. He is the king of wasting tax dollars. And he continues to do it all the while they tell us, well, we can't afford free childcare. We can't afford to cover your healthcare. We can't afford to build more housing. And Donald Trump has told us why. It's because he's fighting a war on behalf of Israel that of course profits him, millions and billions. And so yes, this administration is out of touch. And they don't seem to care about us. But I never thought that it would get as blatant as this post, which is blown up in the face of the man who made it and is probably going to cost him his job or at least should if we lived in a real world. Let them eat cake. Trump's social media guru gets smoked for posting tone deaf AI clip of Trump cronies popping bubbly while riding a luggage cart. A long time key staffer of Donald Trump's is catching heat over an AI video he posted of himself and his administration pals living it up. Late Saturday, White House deputy chief of staff Dan Scavino posted a doctored clip to numerous social media platforms, which showed him riding a gold luggage cart and popping champagne along with several Trump cronies, including Eric Trump and Laura Trump right there in the person on the left, by the way, I don't know if she's holding up a shoe or that's supposed to be her leg is supposed to be Alina Abba. Now that's very important for a reason we're going to get into in a second. And a caption to Instagram Dan Scavino said he posted the parody clip in response to some images from this week's lavish state dinner for Xi Jinping that headed the Chinese Communist Party. This is not intended for the Dems heads to explode, being some of the post state dinner party has gotten out of control. I felt inclined to share mine as well in complete transparency with the American people. Scavino wrote God bless America that doesn't really even make sense, but the clip seemed to land with a thud among many observers on both sides. One of my friends couldn't afford air conditioning this summer. Megan McCain posted in response to MAGA living it up. Another Twitter user wrote Republican deputy chief of staff Dan Scavino posted Trump's inner circle spraying champagne off a gold cart like Versailles royalty after the Xi dinner. They get the party. You get higher grocery prices and costlier energy. Out of touch much looks like let them eat cake. So this is some of the the most insane shit that I have ever seen. This is some of the most out of touch shit that I have ever seen and is not surprising that this is what we're seeing out of an administration of people who could care less about our conditions or our needs. They've made that very clear. But what is what is especially bad to me about this? Isn't just that it is a let them eat cake moment, not only that it is just an out of touch moment, but it is also the context that this is actually happening in. So Dan Scavino, he's saying that the context of this post is saying, oh, we had a big state dinner for Xi and Ping, which let alone is terrible considering Donald Trump and MAGA pretending that they're always at war and at odds with with China and the Chinese Communist Party and yet all the Fox hosts who were always screaming about communism and China and the Dems are soft on China. They were they were poppin bottles as well. But the real truth behind this post of Eric Trump of Laura Trump of Dan Scavino and Alina Abba is that Alina Abba Donald Trump's former lawyer just got married to I think it's a Turkish billionaire, some sort of billionaire though. So she got married. She had this big wedding and their MAGA was poppin bottles and they all got money because they've stolen it from us or they're doing some sort of corruption, government contracts, lobbying on behalf of foreign governments, all of that. But why does that matter? Well, it mattered to me because you may not know this, but Alina Abba for months was stalking Donald Trump around Mar-a-Lago trying to get in touch with him so she could become his lawyer. Now Alina Abba, as we remember, was not a particularly successful lawyer but didn't matter. She was loyal, she went on TV and she kissed Trump's ass and she's been rewarded with jobs around the administration. But Alina Abba, the true female conservative patriot she is, has spent her time abandoning her family, her husband and her children to focus on kissing Donald Trump's ass to get a job as his failed lawyer, to get a job in the administration to leave her husband and children for her new billionaire, like billionaire husband because that's what MAGA is about. It's about following the money kissing the ass, being around the corruption. These people aren't family values. These people aren't traditional conservatives. These people don't have any values. They'll just climb whatever ladder they possibly can. And so the idea that they, that in Alina Abba type gets to lecture us, is insane to me. So I just find this this whole thing gross. This whole we're popping bottles, we're having fun. It's like, aren't you supposed to be like the we go to church, we're very thrifty? No, like we're traditional, we want to be on a farm, because that's what they tell all their followers to be. They don't live that lifestyle. They leave the, live the bottle, pop in, take all your money lifestyle. And so it's just the hypocrisy aside from the, the, just complete separation from reality. But it's not surprising. And it's not surprising how tacky and gross they are, because they're tacky and gross. It's what they always are. - My friend Jim Acosta called that out. - You've peered from the outside at the ballroom. Did you see this most recent reporting about how it's a fiery death trap with no toilets? - I am not surprised to hear that. I mean, everything he builds turns to shit. There was the faux arch at the state fair where you could see like the blue oozing out of it. There's the reflecting pool. Why are we letting him build part of the White House when they've completely screwed up the reflecting pool? The reflecting pool is a joke. It's still like, you know, like a couple of puddles of water, you know, filled with duck crap, you know what I mean? Like that space. - They've given up, they don't care. - They've given up and it's a complete debacle. And at this point, I don't know what they're gonna do, but the next administration is gonna have to come in and rescue that. They put a tarp up over the Kennedy Center where his name came down and they won't take the tarp down. Even though all it will show is the proper name of the building. They've run that place into the ground to the point where there's like pieces of the ceiling coming down and I guess they're so strapped for cash they can't fix it. I don't know what's going on there. And, you know, there's just, to me this, and I've heard folks say like, oh, why do you cover this stuff? It seems so insignificant and that's where I disagree with that. - I think emblematic. - It's very, it's the perfect metaphor for how he has completely screwed up the second term. And I told one of his advisors after he won. I said, second terms can be hell. I've seen it before, second terms. And this is not, this is saying it's hell. It is an understatement. This is a category five fuck up of epic proportions to this presidency. It is likely to go down as the worst presidency that we have ever witnessed in this country's history. And that tops the first administration that ended with an insurrection. And so, and I think that these, people call them vanity projects. I call them insanity projects because who in their right mind would want to put their name on the Kennedy Center, a living memorial to a slain president? There was a story this week that there were Trump officials talking about renaming Ford's theater where Abraham Lincoln was assassinated and putting down, what is going on? When does that just not? - Do you think he thinks it was named after president Ford? Do you think that's why he did it? - I will tell you, that thought did cross my mind. It crossed my mind. He somehow feels, maybe Gerald Ford did something and snubbed him or something back into the slid and Trump. And so he's like, that's it. No, Gerald Ford theater. - Terrible guy, many hell of a guy, not that great at football. - Nope, nope, exactly. - These people are just, they're just completely embarrassing. And everything that Donald Trump touches gets fucked up and all of these people are out of touch. They are out of their minds. They are living in a different reality. And I want to see them all held accountable 'cause they have stolen our money. They have used it for their parties. And I am so sick and fucking tired of it. I just am. And we're gonna be calling it out on this show every single day. Dan Skavino should be fired for that post. It's truly insane and out of touch.
