She has dementia. She lives with us at night, goes to senior living during the day, fell out of bed Friday morning. We had to go to the ER. Her face was like completely black. Still is. And severely bruised her shoulder, but she's okay. So, I am working on limited sleep. Telluride, Colorado debuted Sunday night. Honeys, the press went bought nannies. Phones had to be shut off and, you know, they put them in that little phone safe. And I will tell you about this Elizabeth Holmes documentary that everyone's talking about. It's wild. Is that extremely rare? Yes. But then there's that story of Constance Fisher in Maine, my home state. Yikes. Where back in the 50s and 60s, she did exactly what Lindsay Clancy did. She murdered her three children. Then her husband stayed with her, not like Patrick. And they had three more kids and she did it again. Difference was in that story that she was schizophrenic. Lindsay has not been diagnosed with schizophrenia. It seems like it was a psychosis because of meds, postpartum. Anyhow, that's where I fall. Let's start with some fun news. The other thing people are talking about on Maddie Brown's social media is she's homeschooling one of her kids. Now, this got a lot of discussion. She dropped this over the weekend. We have four kids in four different seasons this year. One is homeschooled because that's what fits him best. One is in traditional school and loves it. One is starting pre-K. And one is still toddling around at home with me. And sports, work, building a farm, appointments, and everything else that comes with a family of six. Life is full. Hey, girl, I hear you. I got three kids. One that's 78, going to be 79 in February. It's rough. But this is the important part about this story. People are very supportive about this. You all really came out and said, you know what? That's what homeschooling should be, okay? Evil, bad, scary on Reddit. Reliable source, all right? Says, you know what? This is what homeschooling should be. I agree with you, evil, bad, scary. Not every kid is meant to be homeschooled. However, I do not believe most parents are equipped to be homeschoolers. So I hope that as he gets older, they find a co-op or something to fill in the gaps because no parent is equipped to really fill all educational needs as they get older. Somebody else rolled, my kids are online school. One is in city public schools. A lot of people judge us for them being homeschooled, but it was the right choice for us given our family circumstances. Other people are saying the only reason that I graduated high school was online schooling after my local high school failed to accommodate my disabilities. So overall, people were like, yeah, you know what? Homeschool can mean a lot of things these days, including remote school where the child is taught by a certified teacher. So who knows? Good for her for figuring out what's right for each individual kid. I agree with that. You know, every child is different, right? So I thought that was a good one. So there's your sister wives. Information and fill in. In addition to that, oh, we got into a little, a tsk, tsk of a little drama this weekend, myself and Chris Booker, who, well, it's not really drama. I shouldn't say that. Chris Booker, I hear is a really great person. We have a mutual friend in common, Blair, who's been in radio for a long time. Chris Booker is Perez Hilton's podcast co-host on PerezHilton.com. So I had put this story up over the weekend. TMZ basically says, if you were unfortunately one of the people that watched that horrific live of Perez Hilton, where he tried to take his own life on TikTok, he tried to kill himself. TMZ got a hold of the police transcripts. And the transcripts say that during that live, Perez said a couple of times that he wanted to die by suicide of cop, like he was willing to hurt the cops. He wanted the cops to kill him. Okay. So I put that out, that out. And the other thing that was bonkers this, this past weekend is Perez Hilton, apparently thinks that it is 2016. Like he's awake. This is according to Daily Mail, a source from Daily Mail. He thinks it's 2016. He's asking for Katy Perry to come and try to help him or see him. And he thinks that he and Katy Perry are friends. They're not. They haven't been for a decade, according to sources. He did help launch her career, but he's apparently awake from his, this, you know, suicide attempt. And he thinks it's 2016. And he's like, where's my friend, Katy? All right. I report this. Chris Booker, his co-host. And now what do you guys think? Chris tells me I'm reading way too much into this, but Chris put up trying to stop. So I posted this story. It says it's from an anonymous source speaking to Daily Mail. Chris says trying to stop online quote unquote gossip is like trying to control the weather. But I will say Perez is generally happy when anyone is talking about him. Stay tuned. All right. Am I the only one? Am I like in this ludicrous world? Am I the only one that thinks that that is like, doesn't that seem like stay tuned? Like he and Perez have something to say and that basically Perez is happy if people are talking about him no matter what? Like, right. Okay. So I'm like, Chris, what, what does this mean? So he ends up responding to my post later on this past weekend. And he says that I'm reading way too much into it. And he wrote, uh, you're definitely reading into this to be clear. He hasn't spoken to anyone but his family. Okay. So Chris Booker clears that up. So Chris is basically saying all these anonymous sources that we're hearing from Daily Mail are just, uh, they're not true. Whether it's Daily Mail fabricating them, whether it's a friend presenting themselves as real to Daily Mail, but they're not true. And he hasn't, he hasn't spoken to anyone but his family in the past. And Chris writes that in capitalized, uh, letters. Perez has always said that he's happy when talked about. So no quote unquote friends are telling people these things because he hasn't spoken to any of them, but that won't stop the gossip, nor does anyone think that it will carry on. Okay. So Chris says it's absolutely not true, all the things that are coming out about Perez from anonymous sources. You know it's going to be a huge week. September 15th. And what day of the week is September 15th? September 15th. We're already on the 8th. So the 15th is a week from today, Tuesday. Joe Duggar is headed to trial and in court, right? We're going to have a pre-trial hearing. We're going to find out if Joe Duggar, who's accused of sexually abusing, sexually molesting his sister-in-law, who was nine years old at the time, we're going to find out if he's going to trial or if he's cutting a deal in Florida. But he's looking at life in prison for this molestation case. And Joe Duggar, two of the sisters, did a podcast on Ginger and Jeremy's pod this past week, getting a lot of buzz now. And they basically are talking both about how truly lost they are and how dark things have been for the family. The two women are really struggling. And I did think that this podcast episode I thought was brave of them to open up. I've been a little critical of Ginger and Jeremy's podcast because I think they've really skated around this whole issue in the family. We obviously know Josh Duggar's in jail serving a 12-year sentence. He keeps getting time added, by the way, because he's dead. getting obtaining illegal cell phones in jail all this stuff so his is like he's there for 12 years no chance of getting out for you know having child porn all these things and we know that Josh sexually abused his own sisters some of his sisters he touched inappropriately so Ginger and Joy open up I thought this episode was good and I actually had a lot more empathy for them because like I said I've been critical because I think Ginger and Jeremy they at least especially Jeremy does a lot of religious talk on their podcast but not really addressing the fact like look this is really fucked up we're we're in this family we're as sick as you guys are like this is you're really doing some soul searching we don't even know up from down at this point this is wild right now again he hasn't been found guilty FYI so everybody's innocent until they're proven guilty but Ginger and Joy essentially said things have been really dark for the family and especially dark for those two Joy says that this has been the darkest period of her life since losing her daughter at 20 weeks Annabelle and I believe Joy had let me ask chat GPT here I think Joy Duggar had a miscarriage at 20 weeks uh let's look I'll ask let's ask chat let's go to chat Ginger says the same thing it's been really dark and what I thought was actually fascinating about this podcast episode is they really admitted that you know they continue to admit this that that Joe Duggar is was really different for them than Josh like like it wasn't really it doesn't sound like it was that much of a surprise and clearly not because he'd essayed his own sister so they knew he was a creep right but Joe they've been distraught about and in fact Joy says that she was close with with uh Kendra and Joe and this has been very difficult Joy did document her pregnancy loss in 2019 when she and her husband Austin learned at their 20-week ultrasound that their daughter Annabelle no longer had a heartbeat okay devastating been there not that far along but close 14 weeks it's the worst feeling in the world so Ginger also discussed a miscarriage at roughly seven weeks while Jessa also discussed a loss at five weeks and another pregnancy loss at seven weeks and another pregnancy loss at seven weeks and another pregnancy that reached around 12. Ladies I've been there it is absolutely brutal so they go on to open up on the podcast and say that Joy went on to call the period after giving birth to son Gunner in 2023 one of the darkest points too in her life due to her postpartum depression and a lot of family stuff going on Gunner was born if you recall in May of 2023 one month later the bombshell documentary shiny happy people Duggar family secrets premiered on Amazon and it featured their sister Jill whom Joy was very close to when she was born and she was very close with growing up others talking in depth about the Duggar family in September of that year Jill and her husband Derek released their tell-all book which caused quite a stir within the family these are things that Joy is likely referring to now both women say in this podcast episode which you can go listen to is they're still doing a lot of reflecting like they're trying to trying to digest this whole thing and Joy also admitted that she's been going through a spiritual Awakening so I don't know if we're going to be getting a book from Joy more maybe more of her truth but she says I'm at a point and I was at a point where I was like I need to face these hard questions that I've had in the back of my mind for years she said now Ginger also talked about having trouble coping with things like family issues that have come on suddenly there have been so many seasons and trials that I did not expect Ginger said like especially when it's related to you know people that you love and even in your family I don't know that stuff hits me harder this is not the first time Ginger and Joy of course have discussed Joe's arrest and how it affected them back in May the sisters did a podcast episode together they called it heartbreaking and disturbing and I feel like every day it's different and I think it's probably been the hardest time I've ever gone through honestly I think we're all grieving in many different ways Joy had told Ginger back in May so yeah it's not good but the girls seem to be maybe coming forward and addressing it more now you know Amy Duggar King was on my show she says the girls the sisters have a lot of work to do still that they're she feels that they really need to take ownership of what's going on in this messed up Duggar family really face it be a little bit more critical of Michelle and Jim Bob that's Amy's side of the story let's talk about Telluride Colorado over the weekend were you there um Nathan for you I'm sure a lot of you are like who the F is Nathan for you um genius comic genius comic if you haven't seen the rehearsal on HBO it's so weird it's good but the rehearsal the premise of the show is Nathan for you this comic Nathan Felder goes with people and rehearses like something before it actually takes place right a breakup so he goes to like a guy and he the guy wants to break up with a girl so he's like let's let's rehearse so they and it's the comedy that really ensues the playing out of it if you could rehearse a mistake if you could rehearse like something before it happens and I can't remember the big revelation in it but something happens about he ends up like flying a 747 plane I don't know and and like has all these actors on board and they rehearse some issue whatever he ends up changing some I think Aviation Law it was really it was really cool okay so over the weekend my phone starts blowing up and people are like oh my God this Elizabeth Holmes documentary is going to be insane and I'm like what are you talking about there's already been an Elizabeth Holmes doc we're getting another one and it's called you can see everything and the trailer of it is of this Elizabeth Holmes I mean crazier than a three dollar bill I think although Nathan Felder goes I don't know up from down after recording this you all have to watch it and tell me if I'm crazy or sane they're in like a staring contest they're sitting on the couch people think there's like insane sexual tension between them even though she's married and I think Felder might be married to her dating someone anyhow she's looking at him she doesn't blink for like a minute and a half okay nothing the eyes have got to be dry as hell honey and she's like I have nothing to hide from you and he's like okay are you sure she's like I'm positive you know because she's got that like deep man voice and remember the whole documentary the first one that was about her she like made her voice voice more masculine to like attract more money and like high-powered men she is first of all she's master manipulator but I'll look it up. Anyhow, through his podcast, or through his documentary partner, they had heard through the grapevine a couple of years ago that Holmes wanted to do a documentary about herself. Even though there's been one, there's been the movie, because she feels like she was misunderstood. All right? So, Lance Oppenheim, all right? That's the documentary filmmaker that's partnered with Nathan Felder. So they'd heard through the grapevine she wanted to. She and her husband wanted to do a documentary because they were misunderstood. That she's not a master manipulator, she was manipulated. So that's how he got connected to her. For three years, he's been working on this project. If you recall, Holmes started Theranos, which, I don't know, isn't that the guy's name in a Marvel movie? Endgame? Whatever, Theranos, which the whole premise was, you know, when you go and you have to have blood work, you have to have, like, vials of blood drawn so they can test for whatever, low in vitamin D. Well, no kidding. So, her whole thing was like, oh, with a prick of a hand, we can test you for everything. Like, we can use this little ounce of blood and we'll find out what you've got. You've got herpes and you've got this and, oh my God, your vitamin B's off. Whatever, right? So, but turns out, you know, the whole thing was a sham. Like, you can't do it, right? Right. So far, they have not been able to master it. Genius idea. The problem was she presented it like it was really happening and they were really close and she was taking on all this money. Not true, all right? So, she goes to jail for, you know, defrauding these investors and everything lying along the way, right? And, by the way, I had a lawyer once tell me, and this is, she's such an example of it, you know, only defraud poor people because when you defraud rich people, they sue you and you go to jail. That's exactly what happened to Holmes, okay? She and Jen Shaw. Let's look at apples to apples here. Jen Shaw defrauded older people with no money in trailers, okay? They can't sue her. The state gave her the lightest sentence ever for screwing so many older people out of their entire life savings who are now living with their children because Jen Shaw took their home so she could buy a Chanel bag and she was in jail for two seconds. Elizabeth Holmes screwed rich people 11 years. I don't even know if she's up for parole. And she has two children that her husband's raising solo. Apparently, there's a huge surprise at the end of this documentary and Nathan Felder is going, look, I really hope that this surprise stays under wrap so people can see it in the theaters and it's out in October. Should we do watch parties? I'm there. This is so good. I cannot wait, you guys. Cannot wait. Lastly, Lindsay Clancy. I asked you at the start of the show where you're at. You're leaving the comments. As we speak, where are you at with Lindsay Clance? Well, is she going to be retried? If it's up to the judge and Kevin Reddington, her lawyer, yes. In fact, they want to retry her sooner rather than later. So soon, in fact, like the judge is like, maybe we could do this in a couple weeks. What? Now, ultimately, you know, this is up to prosecutor Tim Cruz. So Timothy Cruz has the final say. But Kevin Reddington wants to start in a couple of weeks. The judge is checking with the courthouse, checking like, hey, do we have the availability? And of course, ultimately, the say comes down to the prosecutor. Clancy is going to remain in that hospital that she's at in Massachusetts on the murder charges. She's not going free. Probably a good idea for now. And the district attorney may offer a plea deal now that a jury of 12 could not come to a unanimous decision. We know that one juror held out. I believe it was a man. He believed she was guilty of whatever murder. Second degree murder, something that the group did not agree to. OK, now here's the problem that the district attorney has is the idea. This jury rejected the idea this was premeditated. So the district attorney came in in this case and says she planned this. OK, she sent Patrick out deliberately. There was debate about Google searches like she Googled how to do it. She obviously killed these three innocent babies with exercise bans. And, you know, a lot of people feel like this was very, well, some. The district attorney felt like this was very premeditated. She knew what she was doing. All right. Wanted to off these kids off herself. Probably going to be hard to prove that. So next up, we're waiting to hear, will they come back at her at lesser charges? It does look like they are going to retry this. I'm sure they are. I doubt they're going to let her walk. But, you know, then will that come to a plea deal? So I wonder if we are going to see more of a plea deal in this case than we are a retrial. The plea deal could be much less like manslaughter. Maybe she goes to jail for a couple of years or she's in the mental institution for a few years and then gets out. So we will see. Obviously, Kevin Reddington has said a couple of times, look, it's up to the DA. They originally didn't offer a plea. So that's why they went to trial. And that's why they're in this mistrial situation. Now, the other thing that people were buzzing about online is people were like, what's up next for Reddington? What his next case? Well, his next case now people think is also going to get a lot of attention. I don't see how, but sure. Kelsey Coate is from North Adams, Massachusetts, and she's accused of murdering her grandmother in 2022, Doris Coate. She'd convinced Doris to sign over her $1 million fortune to Kelsey when she died. And Doris did that. And then it looks like Kelsey offed her. Okay, so Kelsey apparently murdered her with some scissors, tried to make it look like Doris fell down the stairs. Oh, by the way, Kelsey was struggling with drugs, according to the prosecution, and convinced her grandmother to leave her a million and then killed her. That's Kevin Reddington's next case. Depressing. I don't know how people like, how do you do these jobs? I couldn't go in like, I know a lot. I know a lot of lawyers, all right? And they feel very, very, that there's a true obligation in this country with our justice system. Everybody has the right to a fair trial. Okay, fair enough. I like that. I just couldn't do it. So depressing. But now fans of Kevin Reddington are like, whoa, we're following this story. Okay, well, we'll see. You know, I say that and then probably in two weeks I'll be like, and today on TSFS, the passing of Doris Coates. Who's guilty? All right, all right. Love you all.
