Sir John Monash Stakes Day Preview

The transcript is from a horse racing podcast where hosts Ben Calluzzi, Will "the bot" Alfred, and Nico Mugold review recent wins and preview the upcoming Corfield race meeting. Nico had a standout day, winning with Tennessee Bound and a filly named Ray Seeks, though he notes the biased track conditions at Lakeside. The group discusses the Corfield card, focusing on the Sir John Monash Stakes (Group 3, 1100m) and race conditions: a soft 7 track with a strong northerly headwind, which they believe favors horses with cover rather than leaders. In Race 1, a two-year-old fillies race, Angels Fury is the $2.40 favorite; Nico and the bot strongly endorse her despite a wide draw, praising her previous dominant win, while Ilish at $10 is considered over the odds. The podcast also features banter about social media criticism, betting strategies, and a listener poll where 55% voted to include the bot in the podcast multi. Promotions from Bet365, such as a "winnings plus" offer for races 1-4 at Corfield, are highlighted. Overall, the hosts share their enthusiasm for racing, confident in their selections despite external skepticism.

And it's also been a good day on the rex hunt for the fellas today. If you're joining us for the very first time, my name is Ben Calluzzi. I'm your host. I'm joined as always by Will, the bot Alfred and Nico Mugold. Nico, I'll start with you. You are the man of the hour at the moment. Just this hour. You're attracting more clicks on Twitter than any man I've ever seen before. That's nothing new. How's your David? The day's been fantastic. My week's been even better. I'm playing my own. I'm playing my own. I'm playing Cloud Noon. And the best part for you, Blokes, you want to go home and go to bed after this. I am not going home and going to bed. Can you tell us that a good day? I'm going to the devil's playground to be a devil. What are you talking about, Ramsel? I'm going to the casino to be a devil. The Lord Malik's life. Don't tell me you're going to undo all your good work from today. No, I've left that alone. Just put another little wand with me just having a little place. The Armageddon brought it with you. The Armageddon's going back to home. Armageddon's not going to crown. I said, just leave me this little pole. You take the stacks and the kilos back home. Botta, we are previewing the Corfield, of course. It is Sir John Monash, stage day, group 3, 1100 metres. We'll get to the full card very shortly. We'll go race by race. But also, you may, you declare Tennessee bounce today. It ended up starting even money. You said it's out. It's out. It's out of chance, which is basically $1.50. It is off. It is. Well done. Claps, claps. Yeah, well, it's nice that sometimes it's a result. Yeah, I mean, I don't know. I thought it was a good bet of dog. Absolutely. It's a good one. Completely agree. Anyway, we'll move on. No, let's just keep it. It was a great way. Never lost it. Never absolutely lost it. Let's talk about the two victories today. Because we've seen-- We don't know. No, no, but-- We're not talking about punting. We're talking about unearthing two-- We don't know about this. Very good. Philly's slash mares. Ray Seeks was run by a queen Peter. She beat a horse called Blue Shield on debut. He didn't really go on with a job. But it's been a perennial place geter. But she's improved her stack today. And she's absolutely bolted in from the front. What level do you think this three-year-old Philly can get to? I think she's pretty good. That's for sure. Although I do want to just preface that the lakeside, 1200 meters, is just about the most biased track in Australia at the moment. And it's not even really close. And she did have the rail. And it was the absolute perfect set up. The pun has launched into her. It was-- everything happened absolutely perfect for her. So she did watch me by five links or so. They were there about it. But she-- You know, she's-- she's absolutely probably is a group class mayor. But I'd probably just preface it with-- I'd lean on the actual time rather than what it looked like. Because obviously, it is very hard to loop that field at the San El Ex out of a 1200 meters. At the moment, it is the most biased circuit at San. Which is why I was so keen on Tennessee bed. And to be honest, as well as Tennessee bed, one by a set, she won my three links. I did think that-- I thought-- I don't know, it sounded like a tosser at all. But she could have done a little bit more. I genuinely-- I'm spec-- the obvious-- the second favorite was out the back. Because he was off at 600 or she was out 600 days spell, whatever. I thought that it was-- you know, I had a higher opinion of her than what she did. She looked a little bit-- I don't know, maybe she'll continue to go on off. I could be wrong. It was job done, anyway. It was job done. It was right. Interesting to note that the Philly actually ran a slightly faster time queen petal running a little bit faster time than Tennessee bed, as well. So that probably adds merit to her performance as well. But Niko, two comfortable watches, two very good horses. Never ever in doubt. Told you that on my later one. Short and sharp. That's what-- that's how we love it from him. And he's going to have won on the state of origins tonight because the Queensland is looking to go to one. They are-- They will go to one. They are deep odds on the home deck tonight in the desider of state of origin. We love to see that. Niko's just keen to go to the cast, I think. But you also made your S&D booth this morning with Michi Lewis. You couldn't actually do it. So well done. How did you find it? Thank you. It was good. It was nice to get the late call up. It was actually-- it was pretty fun. I didn't know what to expect from it. But no, it was good. I'd already done the form, obviously, because that's what I do every Wednesday. And price all the races and whatever. So I was just able to talk about it just as usual. And just like I do in the podcast, which is-- I love talking about racing. So it was fun. I like doing it. And if they were ever want to give me up the call up again, I'll be more than happy to do it. I told them that you do the form on a Wednesday every week for Betsy, so I'm a sicker. More than welcome to give you the late call up whenever they can. Niko, podcast multi. We got it home last weekend on Betsy's Ford. Yeah, that's my bad brand in the trading room. Look how much Jesus costs. It wasn't any crazy flash price. No, okay. Well, at the end of the day-- For all our winners, never bothered me too much. I think it was $4.12 was the top price you could have got. $3. It was $4.12. If it was in too, big red tequila was off a fast tempo. She got the job done with the big weight. And then, hello, captain. You got the redemption, didn't you? I paid for plenty of Earth clicker, I also don't know. Yeah. There were a few people still complaining. I mean, surely a $4 win or what? You're not going to be complaining about that. You're not going to be complaining about $4 winners. Well, all I will say could have been of $16 to $8.20. No, I wouldn't have been quite that much. Yeah, right. So both of you sit to piss and that was a huge-- That's so rich. I wish I had been leaving home tonight. Leaving me out of the podcast multi-like-y-y-y-looks of the fair. So well done, Bot. Bot got his best bet up as well in my Rubar. Ended up winning the two-year-old mile race. He's a little multi-one. Over a star of massacres. So if we had have included bots tip into it, the treble would have won. But what I can tell you is, bot will be a part of the podcast. I'll be the judge of that. I don't think I'll be partaking. Okay. Oh, wait. We actually don't need you. We actually don't need you, bro. We couldn't give two staffs a few minutes to your little-- You're a little multi-neds me. We did put it back out to the fans on Twitter. And we did a rave-out on whether bot should be included in the podcast multi-had he redeemed himself like Hello Captain did. And 55% of the listeners have said, yes, they want bots input back into the multi this way. No, I don't want to give my input. They can go. Well, so you're not only dirty at me, Nico. You are against the fans. The people who pay your wages. You're not. I can't even say that anymore. There's no I in team here, Nico. There's a big fat M.E. Anyway. Absolutely. We do think our bett tree seeks father to do every week for being our-- We love that. --per our part. We love plenty of good promotions on it again this week. The top-top plus for all your exotics for our exotic players. Nico. I'm not exotic. You're not exotic? Not often. You are more than exotic, mate. Well, if you are-- If you are a bad-ing exotics, I call for your exotic week. Or doom in this weekend. You've got to be doing it with bett 365. of the three national dividends. The only other thing we need to touch on is Niko. You're attracting quite the crowd on social media. That's nothing new these days. Which part? I just have a message to some of those who like to partake in commenting. My jealous confused admirers. Yeah, correct. Every time that they comment on something, like something, share something, send it to someone else. The views go through the roof and it actually helps us a lot. Just further fuels my point. We actually just want them to keep doing it. I know they're back in my riddance. I know they are. And you know what? You can keep hot me behind your fake profiles. Honestly, couldn't give two shit because knowing that you're not brave enough to say anything behind your real name or real profile makes me sleep well at night because I don't really care if someone likes me or someone doesn't like me. I go about my business and I like just being me. Yeah, you know my number one tactic for I have a bad down the partner. I give up a couple of loses and some no name or of like 10 followers will say something to me on Twitter and you just don't say anything back. And their comment ends up getting like five views. So as long as I don't say anything back to them on the racing creamers account, no one sees what they've said. So that's a way to do it. Everyone loves me. Oh, very, very insist going to come back at me at one point, but it's been a great, it's been a great week and a bit. And in this game, this is exactly what you're doing for you don't worry about the days where you have stripping out to do it for the days like this because in this game, everyone's too serious and everyone's too emotional, but you do it for the good days because life's life is really not that bad. You could be six feet under. Just get over yourself, bro. And this stop trying to hide behind your fake profile. Well, that's a thing like, I mean, I don't want to harp on about this because like no one actually really cares that much, but it's like on a Monday, like so say we put like tips out on Twitter on a Monday, like everyone will say their opinion on Monday. And like so for me, for example, like I said, Nick as well said Tennessee bound, you know, he's a better even money and then it gets bet into a dollar 80, whatever. And then you get this like this, there's like a second wave of people that come over the top and say, oh, how is everyone to be in this? It's like it's like it's a condescending thing. I promise you, you don't come across as more shrewd for telling people it's under after it's been banned. Well, even the horse might actually be under, but you don't have to come across as a condescending prick to just like do you betting and like we all love horse racing. Let's just all have fun. Yeah. And just like just we're all we're all mates because we're all love horse racing. Just have fun. And if you want to have a different opinion, then fucking make me on bet there. That's the miscontent. I'm happy. Six five. Like I understand a lot of people don't like swimming at the short odds, like us do, but like the $2.50 multi for our going to clan again was dead set free eights. The $2.10 a.m. today, I thought should have been a dollar 30. So like, yes, I understand it's not for everyone, but like to some people, $2 can still be valued. And just because your opinion behind your fake profile is different doesn't, doesn't bother me. Don't, don't back my advice or don't take my advice, but I want to try and steer some people that want to listen into a winner. And sometimes I'll get it right and sometimes I'll get it wrong. Absolutely. Anyway, there's a whole lot of our Kumbaya are going on in the studio tonight. Let's all hold hands and agree that we're back to winner. Rising Sun Hotel, very good joint and you doing a little bit more of your best at work there. To some of my Fred best, yep. And we'll be there every Wednesday night. Yeah. Shout out to the team at the Rising Sun. They are doing a fantastic job at hosting us because hosting us sometimes is not an easy job. Core field bottle. Race. What do we got? Race is nine. Nine races on the card. The rail goes out six metres. Currently is soft seven. We've got cold conditions over the next couple of days as Melbourne is right now. There is some rain on race day and you're telling me there's a bit of a northerly wind picking up on Saturday as well. How does that affect the races? Yeah, the northerly wind is ahead, headwind in the shoot obviously. And it's between a 20 to 30. It's quite strong. So just to dumb it down for everyone, the shoot is thousand metres to 1200. Yeah. So that's the part of the core field where they, you know, it's sectioned off and they run straight down the shoot over the sprint races of a thousand metres, 1200 metres. So I think at core field it's probably going to be our advantage is to be sort of just behind the speed and making you obviously don't want to be lost. That's always a disadvantage being backing horses that are towards the rear of the field. But I do think leaders might be not as profitable as they typically are at core field. And on core field as well, I thought last last time I raced at core field was a step in the right direction and it raced more typical, more like a typical core field. But it was, I thought it was a little bit more inside than what it typically. It was very hard to loop at core field last time. I think that speaks to the air-raid of the track and they've also had trials last week down the outside. So I think you are going to want to be sort of, you want to have a little bit of cover. Cover. But you want to have a little bit of cover and be making you run because it is going to be quite strong. It is a real thing. It exists. New South Wales just had the first try on an absolute platte and they've knocked it on way on the road. It should be, it should be four-neil going on just to do. That's a bit like saying cavering should have won. Have a look at this. Yeah. Oh my goodness. If you don't hold them to the ball, you don't jump the last fence. You can't win the race mate. Very true. This dropped the ashes there. Race one is a, I think it's for our two-year-old Phillies. Yes, it is. It's over 1100 metres in Angels Fury $2.40 out from $2.20 but clearly still the best back runner in this race easily. Porta Nari $4.40 just had no luck last time around. From Egyptian dancer $9, Irish $10 and Rabara is $16. I would quickly get off another promo. Race is one to four. At Corefield, Ramwick and Duman, you have your winnings plusper. So that will be available from Thursday onwards. You can use it on the Winnell Place odds and it'll be paid in cash. But at Angels Fury, there was a bit of hype going into this runner on her debut going back to last preparation. Things just didn't work for her out for her there. She was quickly spalled. She came back. I don't know how she got to the price she did last time out at Bendigo, I believe it was, but she careered away and she looks a very, very smart type. Absolutely. She was heavily heavily, as strong a go as you will really ever see in a really a debut-tons race there at Corefield on day. I don't know. Was it the Brutalm and Preview? Yeah, it was just like it was a huge go. There's a lot of stable confidence in this Philly. She went to Bendigo last time, probably just for a kill for a bit of confidence or whatever they call it. That's fine. This pace was pretty strong there. They backed it off for the mid stages and then she just travelled really, really strongly. She's a really good Philly. She backed up the SP of what the Blue Diamond Preview or whatever it was. She ran to a number and I think the way she did it, she can continue on that again. Honestly, to blatantly honestly, I haven't priced this race. I find these races incredibly hard to price, but I still want to be on Agile's Fury. These races are so incredibly hard to price because you're working with trials and you're working with horses that have had one run and they're hard to price, but I just think that Agile's Fury is the one you want to be on. I think she might just be a really, really good Philly. She's drawn 11. She's going to be a wide and I think she'll probably be in that free wide running line. I don't think they'll try and lead on her. Really nice Philly. I think that. I don't think there's any rush to back her at the moment as well. I think she probably still hovers around that price. Probably start somewhere between here and $3.00. What price has she been? 240 and 240. So somewhere between $2.40 and $3.00. I don't think there's any rush to back her now. So if you're not on, I wouldn't be jumping out of trees to back her, but I do think you want to be on Agile's Fury. Potton Ari's the second favourite. She was unlucky there at Corefield last start. Nice Philly for sure, but I just think that full 40 just seems really, really short. It's the old adage. The where the exit. Exactly. It wasn't a bad race, but I'd rated pretty bad. I think she can improve for sure, but I just don't think there's any way she starts inside $6.00. I think. Yeah, Agile's Fury is definitely the one I want to be on this race for sure. 100%. She's just going to get the perfect map here, I think. She's doing a little bit wide, but that's no problem out of the shoot. Hopefully she just hops on to her back. If that normally wind is in their face, then she's just going to get that perfect ski off them. Hopefully three back, one off, two off. I love what she did last start at Bendigo. It was about as arrogant a wind as you'll ever see. She barely got let off the bridle by Tio Nugent. I'm not sure why she drifted out to even money late there, but she did it with her head on her chest. She draws her to 1100 meters. Although she is four weeks between runs 24 days, she has. has had the jump out on a very heavy track. It was a heavy 10 there at Cranburn, and she was beautiful in that jump out as well. So I don't think you're gonna get much better than $2.42.50 to be completely honest. Portonari will definitely improve. It was probably, that's just about as unlucky eighths you'll see last time, just out the back, never got a crack at them. You can argue she probably could have won that race. And there is one more that I think he's over the odds, and that's number nine, Ilish currently at $10. She went forward, she led last start, that was on debut, she showed good speed in her jump out as well, and she only got nailed by a horse called Cheras, which is I think quite a smart, Mitch Freeman, two-year-old Galding coming through the ranks, and they're clearly the one two for me. So I've had a major bet on Angel's Fury best of the day, and Ilish at $10, that looks over to me. What did you think of Ilish? I used to feel I thought she probably, I haven't priced races as I said, but the only runner I really wanna be on is the favorite. All right, I think she's a good feeling. She just looks like she looks like she's, you know, just washing the replay, she just looks like a big imposing, like I'm not normally into that sort of stuff, but I was just washing it, she just looks like an imposing nice feeling. There's nothing wrong with a big two-year-old feeling. Usually things are a bit further forward, or ahead of their development than the others. Race two is a benchmark 78, handy cap over 1100 meters. Nico, a chime in issue, you've got anything over the next couple races. I probably don't. Markdale $4.80 has been really well supported in from $6, super-fund $5, stealth of night, also $5, and Lunar Cat is here at $7 as well. Interesting move here for Markdale bought, clearly the best back runner early. Yeah, for sure, it was beaten, and you know, made a bit of ground up, sectionals were okay, or good, sorry, we're good behind Moby Dick, who was then well supported last week in the wherever race that was down the straight, that was a joke, that went so slowly in that. Draws for tea, and then I think they'll go back from the draw. I have, you know, I've priced this race, I've couldn't backmarked, Markdale, I've marked, super-fund $5, it's, you know, around that sort of price, stealth of night looks under the eyes to me, resume over 11, 900 meters, I think that it'll all just be a little bit too quick for stealth of night. The horse that I thought was a little bit interesting was Demojo, who was wide at the core field heath last time. And I always find it really interesting when Kylie Valor puts on a different jockey to, I think it's her husband, Steven Valor, I'm pretty sure, I don't know, there must be other related or married or whatever. Jamie Mock goes on, and when that sort of stuff happens, normally there's a big firm around, and they know it's time, they put on the real sort of, you know, Premier Jockey, Jamie Mock goes on, I think it's the one that firms have marked it $8, I think, well prices around now Ben. For Demojo. $10 now? Yeah, I've marked it $8, so if there's an edge in this market now, I think it might be Demojo. And also, as well, behaviour, for Gavin Bedgick, was only one of the two races, I think it might be able to improve up to 1100 metres, I think it's been uncertain that's first two runs this preparation. So, a little bit interesting, Superfund have marked it $5, if it gets out to $6, I could have something on it, but Demojo's the most interesting run ever for me in this race. Yep, race three is a cracking race, it's three out three year olds, over the 1400 metres, and Cruiserweight are really well supported, favourite $3, $80 into $3, 40, looking to remain unbeaten. It's two from two from Lyca Drifter, speaking of winning streaks, it's one five straight, but true to its name, it has been a Drifter, $3, $80, out to $4, 20, undisputable is interesting, $5, $50, out to $6, $50, Jenny-Gone Bonkers, $8, $50, and DeVida. Probably has to do a bit of work from that wide barrier, it is $11. There is, do you think DeVida can get across here, and sort of lead this race? What do you think is there's more pressure than that? No, I think it probably does, I think it, that's its go in life is to lead, and it is for sure an interesting horse, because it started favourite in the autumn classic, the one that I observed the other one, that day at Corefield obviously fell at back of the screen. You know what the funniest thing is for me, with DeVida, was resumed at Sandown, beaten badly, started whatever price it was, 20 to one, whatever. And it went to the Morphill Parks in a benchmark 66, and you could get double figures for it at Morphill, like, if I were in essay, like that's a miss, isn't it? And now it's like, I've marked it at $10, I've got prices now, it's probably the same price. $11, yeah. Yeah, it'll lead. I thought Cruiserweight was the starting point in the race, I thought it had to be favourite, I'm actually really far, I'm really a long way off thought, what the market is in this race, I thought Cruiserweight should be favourite from Jenny-Gone Bonkers, and then Beachworth next. And I don't really give the essay for much hope, which is, yeah, like like a Drifter, I've marked double figures, and I could be completely wrong. I don't have a lot of confidence in this race, because, you know, when you're so far off market in these Metro races, yeah, you're probably wrong. But, you know, you sort of have to back yourself in sometimes, I've marked them $3.30, I've backed him already, and I've also backed Beachworth, who won really well at sail first up, is that out of a Mayor called Hortbury on her, who was a really nice mate, I think you both remember her, she was really well backed in the win and stakes, it was only knocked off by G-Trud, and she was a really nice horse for Chris Wallace. So, Beachworth, so for me and this race, I'm back in Cruiserweight, or I have backed Cruiserweight, and I've backed Beachworth as well. Cruiserweight, I think it's a, could be quite a smart type. Its name was Opertail, when it used to be in New Zealand, one by six lengths on day, we had on the chess sort of stuff, and obviously bought it over here, where they thought it, you know, they had a fair opinion of it, to buy it over from New Zealand, weight-produrating when it first came to Swan Hill, that was around a month ago, was 91.7, which is very, very good going for your first start, in Australia. It has had a jump out since, it was second to hard kick, it was a nice piece of work. Hard kick was probably one of the more impressive two-year-olds, I'd say, but performances from last season. - Yeah, with that form out of that, the talent that's been really good. - Yeah. - He's back, next week or? - Yeah, we've had two. - Hard kick, yeah. - I think he will be coming back soon, and that was a very good jump out. So, I'm not surprised to see the market support earlier. I've backed Cruiserweight at $4.20. I can't believe Jenny gone bonkers is $8.50. I've taken $9 for her. You look back at her, the start of her preparation last time in, there was probably fair to say, there was a little bit of hype around her, like she just bolted in a pack and a very short price. She then ran second to Rusk aroma, odds on quote, in the twilight glow stage. - Was she a go that day? - Huge go, and she probably started much too short that day, but then she sat wide at packin' 'em third up, and yet again, she still bolts it into spite, a really tired running transit. I think she sort of came to the end of her preparation, and they probably went one or two runs too many, and she was coming up again. She's alibi late in the preparation, but she's had that little refresh. She's had 130 days off. Her most recent jump out was an absolute beauty, and I just can't get her anywhere near $8.50. I thought she was more like a $5 chance. And the other one is, yeah, beachworth, you've identified that. It was big late splits last time to win. So those are the three I've got my thoughts centered around, but two bets right now, cruise weight and Jenning on bonkers. Under sputable bot, interesting runner, it carried 60 kilos last time. It gets 50 kilos now after the claim of Emily Posman, but I look on racing Australia, and it says Emily Posman's minimum riding weight is 54. So what's gonna happen here? - I don't know, you better ask Emily Posman. (laughing) - That's a question for Emily Posman, not me. I'm not riding the horse. I thought it was criminally under the odds. Like I said before, I am so far off market in this race. - Yeah. - Now, have you not had a bet on Jenny yet? Surely you're going to, if you got it marked, she'll fail. - I'll probably have something on eventually, but I just wanted to be on beachworth and cruise away. But under sputable, like, yeah, I was heavily backed at San Morpherville, sorry, to beat DeVeta, but I just think that mark is funny, because how does DeVeta, who started favorite, heavily supported in the autumn stakes, go around double figures, what are they doing? - I think it's just the weight swing. - What are they doing? - I think it's a full-well. - I'm just beautiful. If Emily Posman can ride 50 kilos, which racing show, she says she can't. It's dropping 10 kilos, so it's a weight and see what weight. - Sure, I just don't think it should be anywhere near the price it is. And I could be wrong, like I've been wrong a million times, but. - Where's that in a really lift, here, Ben? - Yeah, and you said, well, I was just, I had absolutely rattled at the moment. - New South Wales have started like a, like a year or so on fire. - Nico, you're anything in here, you're a happy value? - No, nothing here. - Let's move on to race four. It's another three-year-old Philly's event, 1100 meters. Lady Verity, our $3.60 favorite from cavalry girl, $4.80, in from $5.50, signature cent, good go, $5, brilliant horizon and Miss Lola, both $9. - I don't even know how bad you are. - What do you like? You like the favorite? - No, I like Miss Lola. - That's sort of a gray, I think she's a sh--. I don't really know why she's 10 to 1. I just think she's big. Like Lady Veride probably deserves to be favorite. I think 10 dollars is a bit heavy, young. Should be in a good position in the race. I would have thought, should roll forward from 6 with Joy-on, who's going pretty well. 53 kilos. I thought it was hard enough to beat. I think it's arguably as good a horse as Sin-In-Sense, Lash-Cavvara-Gill and Co. It's getting late relief. I thought 10 to 1 was a very easy gamble. I thought she's been good at it last year. The ratings are quite solid. But did you give Miss Lola any chance at near double figures? Yeah, for sure I gave her a chance. I just thought that she was much better suited over 1200 meters and maybe even a little bit further. So backing back to 11 might be some query, but she's had a fresh and that's fine. I just found this race really confusing because I honestly, I really want to define the favorite lady Veride because she's the improving feeling. Lots of these feelings have been there and done that. They were exposed during their three-year-old season and they're not necessarily, I don't think, improving anymore. So they've sort of found their level. But then you go and try and find Lady Veride and she's well priced. She's so straight away. Yeah, 360. So to have her that price, you're sort of saying that she's going to improve one to two links on what she's already done. And for sure she's trialled, jumped out really well. But I mean, you still have to put a price next to her. And to make her a bet, you have to really force it, I think. You have to force it based on the trials. I just think there's no way that she starts inside four dollars. And also what I would say to Candama, my own point even, is that I think there's going to be a little bit of speed here. Brilliant horizon likes to go really, really fast. Calvary girl, too. Winchery will be up on speed and I assume signature scent will be up on speed as well. And I think she probably just gets that really, really nice run with the northerly there. And if she's good enough, she's good enough. She'd become a bit five fifty. I'm not going to get that. I'm not. Calvary girls in inches in one and she's flying. She's got the 60 here. I've actually got some some queries around her. Well, 100 at 1100 100% same as well. If it was a thousand you'd mark it like the price years. I can't get the short over. Five mark to six fifty because I'm really worried about 1100 meters for plus the northerly win. Plus the market hasn't really had her going to that next, the level she's at. So I just wouldn't be surprised if she just comes off a little bit. So in summary, Niko and I don't mind Miss Lola, maybe a small bit there. Lady Verity is the ones of beat, but we want better. Yeah. She's a really interesting one. She's so hard to knock, but I just couldn't back it. Honestly, brilliant horizon was the one that interested me a lot because it was really good at the lake side. But again, it had the perfect scenario up on speed on the rail smashed him and then was heavily supported. Oh, I don't know if it was heavily supported, but it was, you know, it started just about favourit in a decent race. Afterburner and race for rule and amping last, that sort of form, you know, four dollars there or there, thereabouts. But fell at the back of the screen, did probably too much early. So just based on that, if it gets a more economical run, it could easily jump bounce back to form. But again, the northerly win scares me. So at the end of the day, I was probably just leaving the race. Yeah. Lady Verity probably goes on top of me. She's very talented. I think she could be coming off a little setback. I want to try and find out more about why the long spell. I think she did have something small happen to her at her last run when she won at Sandy on that day. But it's just a wait and see there. Race five we move on. I think this is a pretty average race. Benchmark 84 2000. Ameletto $3 favourite from Balsworth Savoir for 20 sir atleast $6. Prince Eric $10 and stop the rock. Got the job done at a huge price last time. It is $15. But Ameletto has shown a likening to wet ground. He seems to be sort of hitting his straps now in Australia this prep. Yeah, I backed Ameletto a few times actually and to no avail. And the last two runs, he's really just turned a corner a little bit. I think Reed is in this horse actually. So shout out to Reed. I'm pretty sure Reed must have changed it. I'm pretty sure he said he was in it. Well, I didn't get the text message. Well, he said it. He said it in the group chat. He must have just been. Oh, to join him in. Oh, yeah. Well, to be honest, I wouldn't want to be in this horse before it's last two starts. What happened? Was he jarring up on some of those films? I haven't. I have no idea. He'd always sort of promised to do something and run on. And then he just sort of, I don't know. But he's a deserved favourite. I marked him $3.50. Ben well supported early. Balsworth Savoir. He's a funny one to price because absolute perfect run last start. Had the rail and it had to be in that sort of position and then pinged off it. I got out to two thousand metres, but she's a seven year old man. So going to a big peak like that, you'd expected to come well off and just go off the market, sort of expected from it. The one that's sort of a little bit interested me was Prince Aeroku's now fourth up. But does draw 13. So that's less than ideal. I marked it $8, but that's a little bit if you're not super confident with that. A samurai mind I think is ready to go now up to two thousand metres, locking nine door font. I marked it nine dollars and I think it's probably the bet and the race. A samurai mind. Beautiful. Move on to race six. We get to the quality legs now. We can get Nico involved here. Nico, what's what's happening to the Marines? What's a little bit to be right? No, there's a bit right at the moment. That's right. I'll be right. I just need a score before half time and all be OK. I reckon they're half reckon they're limping towards the half time whistle. It's OK. We'll be right. Is the cast called off? We had a reset. The cast is going to be win lose or draw. They need a hydration break to stop this momentum. That'll be OK. Race six, three-road handicap, two thousand metres and deck a log is our two dollar fifty favourite. He was scratched from Flemington last week. He drew very wide there over the twenty five hundred metres and he was going to have to show it to the big weight. James Johnson takes three kilos off. So we get some with fifty seven kilos, two dollars fifty in favourite from our chief four dollars. How does he turn the tables on deck log? I'm not sure. Do you know what? Do you know what he's seven dollars? Paddy Puy also that quote and Harbour Town is eleven dollars. Deck log, Nico, this is one of your horses. Winners keep winning. He's looking for four straight. Yeah, and I think he will make it four straight. I think it was a great decision scratching from last week, saving him for this week. Much better set up this week. I think with the claim for James, so I can throw it off. I think he's very well placed. I think he's against a bunch of horses here where I think Paddy Puy is a horse that I was with last time. I don't know if he's exactly looking for two thousand metres deep into his first preparation. During this year, I'm a bit hurried home about and our chief, well, he's a prolific bridesmaid. I think all things being equal deck a log should win and win well. And I think he looks the other good bet of the day outside of Andrews Fury in the first. So it'll be my selection for the podcast, Malty. Boom, best bet. I agree. I'm with Deck log here. My only little concern is that he is a natural on speed horse. As Bott has mentioned a couple times, it's normally when could be hitting him in the face if he leads. But it was a slow tempo that our chief, I believe, our chief actually, sorry, he didn't leave. Our chief got sort of first run on him last time around. That was a slow tempo and he put pay to him. I think he will do the same yet again. I'm just a little bit worried if he does go to the front. We've no other speed around. And he might be either getting tired or wanting further late. We do got to remember that he was being trained for 2500 metres last week. They didn't end up going there. But I think he's clearly the one. And even despite the fact that our chief meets him a little bit better off the weights, he did put a decisive margin on him the last time they met at Flemington. Bott, so. Yeah, I don't think I can get him as short as the market does right now. I'm marketing about 340. The one I had slightly over the odds was Paddy Paye, who was heavily supported at Flemington. In a race that was a little bit weird in my opinion, like the form just. I don't know, I just don't have a whole lot of confidence in that form itself. And I just think it's a pretty easy race to just look past. But I do have a pretty decent query about Paddy Paye getting out to 2000 metres. First preparation, fourth up. I just don't love the race. A big watch in this horse called Itch Nusa. Really nice day, boo. But, you know, I don't have a whole lot of confidence in this race. whatsoever and I wouldn't, I wouldn't, you know, you guys like Dachalogo, I wouldn't, I wouldn't push you out of it. It sort of, it does, it's probably going to lead. It's going to, it does have to carry, you know, well, 60, about minus the claim, obviously. So, and Jade, how good is Jade? Like, he's just out there. You want some stats for Jade? He's just a good jocky. Last 50, James Johnson is going at 28%. His return on investment for a proportional staking is plus 60%. And his wins to expect is 1.69. So, is there a better jocky in Victoria right now? I'm not sure. Well, he gets, he gets a lot of great opportunities working with Kiri Mara. It's the winter time and obviously he won't get those same opportunities. Some come springtime, but he is absolutely making the most. Statistically, there's not a better jocky than him, right? He's just like, you know, the first time I ever saw him, and I'm not trying to say anything at all, whatever, I'm just saying, the first time I ever saw him was his ride at Cardi B, and like, this bloke does not look like a 3-kill acclaim. Like, he just, he just pushes them out, he looks so strong and so fluent in the saddle. His numbers at the time in Tasmania didn't back it up whatsoever at all, but since he's come over being put on good cattle, he's made the absolute most of it. He just looks like, you know, he's probably. We haven't really, and I wouldn't, I've happened to be offending anyone by saying this, we haven't had a really, really good apprentice. Obviously, Luke Cartwright and Logan Bates can put their hand up for this as well. But I think he just looks that, you know, he looks like the next Ethan Brown, he looks like the next Damien Lane, like he looks like that, and they look like that sort of. level below. He looks like the next Premier Victorian rider. Yeah. At Hell was getting Ryze a Kirin Mar as you already mentioned, but he looks, he looks a cut above the 3-kilo claim at the moment. Race 7 is the day's feature. Group 3, weight for age 1100 metres. It is the Sir John Monash takes. It's six dollars afield. G-throw a dart board. Throw a dart at the board here. Now watch me win six bucks from Winners Edge. Tends into six, so it's been the biggest firmer early. Sir now six dollars 50. Muravail rose $7.50, a drift busable rewarded. $7.50 and Balertrick star and recommendation there, $8.50 and $9. But I looked at this race, saw six dollars afield. I sort of just want to give this one the big old fat pass. Balertrick star, I think, is the best horse in the race. You probably can't expect her to be at her best, 220 days between runs. She hasn't won in nearly two years, but she was probably my starting point if they were all going to run to somewhere near their best, but she probably won't. You sent me like a screenshot of the early market opening and I said, "Well, what price is Sir now?" It was like $15 at the time and then I was by the time he sent it, it was like it was $7. So then? Yeah. He was $15. Because I had him initially anyway. I still haven't actually. I still have him second favorite. But he said, "Six fifty with us now." Six fifty and I have him $7.50. I have watched me win $6.70. $6.50 is the price. I thought recommendation was entitled to be involved in the race. Maybe the draw is a little bit iffy because they either have to make a decision, do I go to the front and that's not advantaged because the wind and then you sort of do go back and that's not ideal either. The horse that sort of makes them, you know, when you sort of do form, you have an idea of what which horse makes the most sense and the horse for me that makes the most sense of winning this race is winner's edge. But I just can't put a number next to him that is a bet when he's right, does he six dollars six six dollars six dollars six dollars. I can't put a number next to him that makes him a bet at six dollars. For me there's just absolutely no edge in this race. Let's move on. Yeah, let's not say feature race. That is the feature race. You've got to try and give it a bit of love about trying at the end of the day. At the end of the day we want to. We want to back winners here. Not just blah, blah, blah, races. We're probably not going to be betting in race eight is a very interesting race. A benchmark 100 over 1400 meters and 10 commandments. Well, I don't know if he's just turned into file apps in joining Kermar or if he just absolutely loves wet tracks, but I was wanted to be against him last time. He showed me up. He's now $2.30. He's stepping up and great, but he gets him with only 50 kilos here from Big Swinger $5. My best bet when at round last time it was very unlucky. However, Lunt did get the better of Big Swinger there. $6.50 from Ryze at Dawn. It's got to carry the $8.7050 in Roadcone is $10. But I think both of us would agree that we can't get 10 commandments quite as short as $2.30. But he has to be your starting point, doesn't he? Yeah, for sure. Like you said, the wet track stuff is unbeaten on heavy tracks and then he's had four starts and his mother was a muddle. Low track for three wins in a second. I don't know if the probably just could be the case. Plus also in combination with the fact that he's been transferred to Curie Lunt. Yes. They go on. Come on. Here we go. I look like me at the pub. There's no way I could make 10 commandments a bet at the price. I mean, he can't start that price surely. Yeah, I mean, again, it's probably like the second feature race. Where does he map? Does he map just to be like leaders back? Or just to the moment? I mean, I'd say that they're hopeful that they can hold a more forward position, but it's sort of up in the air. Barry one could be a little bit tricky. It could. And I think he's a horse that likes to get up and rolling as well. Like, you know, they half lost the saddle on him first up. I think I think James Johnson, I think he was sort of half unceded first up in the and he just sort of kept going. It was just good enough to absolutely bolt in. And then at Flamington, they went a really quick pace and he was just the beneficiary of that settle in a forward spot and just was too good. But I mean, the only horse I really have an edge for in this race is England. And do I want to back England second up for poor run? He's been such a just what he promised a lot early days, England. I loved him as a horse. And he's completely lost his way. Well, that happens to so many horse that they find their level so quickly because they're sort of, you know, they're well placed and then they find their level and they just don't win. Yeah, but there's having an edge on a horse I can win and then there's having something. Yeah, there's no way. You're marked at 26 dollars and it's 34 dollars. Essentially. Our man, our horse dashing has been a good horse to us over the journey, but here's a spare to say that this could be his last racing preparation for the dreams over for dashing. He's in the wheelchair. He's been standing. That's not an easy kid from the corner though. What do you think of that big swing or co-evalent form? And do you think big swing are all things equal? Can turn the tables on who I thought he was just quietly. He was held up at a crucial stage. That core valente form bit of DF last week in the winter championship. Oh, how did Boltz over not win? That was sick. That was nearly all time tipping from me at 16 to one. Boltz over should have nearly shitting. Got bitten three lengths mate. Did you watch the race? You even the saw? It should have won. I probably didn't watch Boltz over. It was run close enough. Don't go back and watch it because it was sick. It should have won. It's 16 to one. It should have won the winter championship. No speed, no talent mate. Run into trouble. Yeah. The big swing of co-evalent form border. What have you marked those two runners? Pretty much the exact same price. I don't know. I respect that co-evalent bolted in, but I also respect that big swinger was the heavily backed favourite. Now has Wizz been booted off big swinger for Jets Stanley Yurakin? Or is he just not is he riding? I don't think Wizz is riding. Maybe he's not riding. He's probably galvanting across Europe or something. A good one in full credit. Full credit to Wizz. No, it doesn't look good yet. It hasn't been kicked off. I was going to say maybe Charlotte's gone. Well, he was held up on the fence last time and he's getting the sack, but no, that is not the case. Thank you, moments. He's gone from a 72 and 84 to an hour 100. It's a long way up in grade. I'd want better than $2.30 to be betting, but he could be the best wet trucker going around at call field on Saturday. So he could become a bet for me if he starts to get out in the market a little bit. Yeah, big swinger. If he won and I didn't have anything on as well, JRB filled you with some. What time do you finish? Fuddy like 5.30 pm. Oh, so how can you back him then? Oh, no, I'd have to make my mind up before then. I can always get someone to do it for you. One of your balls. You can go. Yeah. Just a shame. 365. I've done the R. I was just protecting anymore. That was one of the greatest of all time. That was. Bring a backpack. Please. Bet anyway. Yeah, I'll make my mind up before then. That's just celestial strata. Sounds like you, Nick. Vodal information. That's strong. How do you reckon it's stride frequencies? That'll be rapid. Ration on. Benchmark 84 over 70. 1900 meters and first chorus. Couple punters are starting to get a little bit sick of her. The last couple starts. It's $3.80. - You included. - It did run home fast from a long way back last time. - The speed teller. - $6 from Mac to $8. Moments, $9 in NARBOLD is $10. Ah, where what do we do with this favorite? She's had a long preparation now. - She has and she's a very nice horse, but I was very disinterested in her and made her favorite, but an $8 favorite. - And a race that I think is-- - You marked them $8 the field. - Oh, yes. (laughing) - Why someone's sort of shy, you laugh at them. - She's just kidding even the tone argue. And that was box office. Oh, what do you see this? - Is that to Desco on the floor? - Yeah, he's absolutely floored him and then he's still even looked over and even laughed. That is all time. Why do you say this? - Bear with us one more time. - You can't come through here. - Anyway. - Look at this. - Here we go. Hold on. - No, that's the-- - Come, wait, come, it comes. Ready? (groaning) - Get that out of here. - Is there any head contact there? - Yeah, there's the head on the head. - Yeah, it's head clash. - Yeah. - I thought that fearless Freddy was highly interested in this race. Drawer's wide, which is not ideal, but it was heavily, heavily backed at Flemington last time. It's 35 days between runs. I don't think that's any issue. I don't think there's any worry backing this stable off a flop. I think what he did at Murray Bridge that day behind I catch him, Fox, and there's been decent format of that race, was just the biggest sectional markup you've ever seen, heavily backed at Flemington. And now I think it's not a high probability bet. It's $15, it's probably going to be at the back. But I just think that there's a bit of speed in this race and I think it can, I've marked it $9. And it's one that I think's interesting. I also thought Nations Call was a little bit over the odds as well. And I also thought Beachpad as well. I marked $11. I've got one of this race too. Go on then. I've been an absolute passenger in this part of the show. Yeah, what do you mean? I'm not just going to chip losers for the sake of it. He's been jingling so far for the last two hours. It's just done absolutely nothing. He's been skiing at the back while I'm doing the hard work. Well, he's got some cover. No post-notel on over here. I did say to you, like, at the start of the podcast that I didn't really have much to like, because it's not really a podcast. It's not really a betting card that I'm getting heavily involved in. No, that's not that many $80 favourites tonight, is it? (laughing) All right, Matt, let me back me. Oh. Which one of my fake fans confused in my pro-files as you? Which ones do you mean? They're all my bettas, mate. I'm Matt Lee. He's my noir. Oh, shit, I like one of these kind of fun. Shout out to you. Some of his gears are all right. He's funny. I agree with you, bot, which is scary. That feeling is pretty, is an ice level overlay. But there's a horse in here that I thought was massive over at 3041, is Rua Kaaka Raider. Good second up form, good core field form, unbeaten. At the 1700 meters. And I thought arguably, you know, didn't do a hell of a lot first up last time, but it's a horse that gets better into its preparation. And I thought it could probably show something here. I thought, area 13 probably wouldn't be too bad. It'll roll forward late in the day. And yeah, hopefully a bit better of a track this time for it. And it could easily bounce back to form in a fairly even race where they've all got their convictions. He's got his two, but is at 3441. And I could easily sort of mark him half that quote and think that he could run a ball race. Yeah, you speak of that. Unbeaten two out of two at 1700 meters. But we're going to have to open some old wounds. Yeah, do you remember the day he beat high and proud? We launched into a at core field. Beat it by a nose. I am. I don't think I was on that day. Was I? I reckon you're on. I reckon you're on. I think I was absolutely what I've bought. I think I was on and you're on and high and proud end up losing that boy. I'm back. Yeah, mate. Right. I reckon I've backed that many. Mickey D. Yeah. I've backed that many losers over the years. I don't know. I forgot about it. I never forget him. I don't think there's a few that I'll never ever ever forget, but high and proud. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. It was race one at core field a couple of years ago. Sounds familiar, actually. Oh, no, I do remember that. I do remember that. Yeah, it was a core field cup day. Yeah, it might have been a big race day, actually. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know the one. Yeah, I definitely did back it. Yep. I remember. Any bets around the grounds anywhere else? No, I haven't. No, obviously we haven't got four out for Sunday yet. For jumps. What is the nominations? Oh, there's one big clash. Well, this is the old pack and I've made it before they went woke. So the cunning fox versus Andy Winn. Yes. Andy Winn's been the sort of the up and coming star this season, but the cunning fox. Yeah, now the heavyweight champion is back. If you look back to the cunning fox last prep and last year, he was the best hurdle in Australia. It was. Absolutely. Yep. We're there to shut it over there. And the fact that he hasn't been raised in a while, which had a little injury. He's going to get actually getting quite well at the weight. 69 and a half. He's got 68 and a half. Yeah. So do you reckon you get a pro? Why did certainty? Or can you get a pro at the cunning fox? Yeah, well, should. Yeah. It's no easy feat. Look, he hadn't seen around today. They're cunning fox. Yeah. He's going to have to be on his game. He's not going to want to be given too much fitness away because like Andy Winnie's going well. He's on tour now. He's flying. And a shout out to Jared Demarco, who I used to work with at Mooney Valley. I think I'm going to issue-- I, yeah, it parts in the horse as well. So a couple-- He's a good horse, Andy Winnie. And a couple of boys are in the ownership. I don't really want to sit here and make two and land in the statement until I see what the market does. But the cunning fox should be favorite. But like, if he's like $1.60 and Andy Winne's like $4.50 or something, then I'm probably going to have something on Andy Winne like. I wouldn't want to be taken too short of a quote for the cunning fox first up for his jumps preparation. And then obviously, Stern hopefully goes around in the monster rebar. Set weights and penalties is against Goen, Garden, Sing for Peace. So it should be well off at the weights around that sort of-- Low 70s. Yeah, he'll have about that 72 mark. And I'll have that around 70. Monster rebar. They'll have $39. Oh, I don't-- I'd have to look who knows because everything's changed. But yeah, there'll be a full-- there's a horse that I like in the maiden herd, if it nominates, there's a horse I like in the maiden stable if it nominates, except-- so they'll go through. But there's one good race in WA. Obviously the-- Oh, hold here. The bow flying over 1,000 meters. So yeah. Ophscar's fortune's gone up. Favorite with 62 kilos. You can pen him. The two horses I would like to back would be Lohanamus and Marty. Yeah. Both $5.50. Both $5.50. Yep. Probably back Lohanamus, save Marty, girl. All right. Beautiful. I've got one international bet tomorrow night. And I'm-- but before you sort of turn your hair and say, what's he talking about? It's a horse that everyone knows, loves, and adores very much in the good, often blue. He's been an absolute-- Allegro. He's been an absolute warrior. An absolute stalwart for Charlie, Upper Wee, and William Buick. His name is Rebels Romance. Gee, he's been a good horse over the years. It's been a great horse to us in the early hours of the AM. He's got to carry, obviously, a bit of weight. Like you always does. He got the 62. But this is a horse who's had 36 starts. He's won 23 races. He got the job done at Maydown last time around. He travels here there and everywhere. He's come up even money here in a five horse field. I know. We smashed him at the pub before. Probably his only danger is convergent. The second favorite who brings a good bit of a-- Look at Nico. He's warming up. Nico's warming up. Nico's ready to hit the cast, I think. Yeah, convergent brings a decent bit of form. He actually beat-- he's got the scalp of De La One, going back to some of its French form. But Rebels Romance, I hope, just leads him a merry dance. He gets the good, grounding loves. It's very hot in Europe right now. Like, much hotter than usual. It is Euro summer, bro. Yeah, but a lot of the time they don't get the mid 30s, high 30s sort of degrees even in summer. That's about the only thing that's going to get Yannick Cinebete. Have you backed him? You're probably wrong. No, I haven't. But this-- How are you going to-- Well, the dollar's 22 against No Back on Friday. No, it's good for your match. No, that's stealing. No Back's coming off a five set up, along his game of his career, Wimbledon. That is value. He won't be able to beat. No, you know, I don't think unless-- Cinebete, $1. Unless Cinebete gets the cramps, which he has been known to do a couple times. Anyway, Rebels, Romance, even money in a five-horse field, I think he's a $1.70 chance. I had a bit at the pub. Beautiful. Let's get to podcast multi-time. And-- This is for the pretty clips. What we're going to do, Nico-- Sit up then. I think we are going to-- even though we're getting butter and Voltaire, we're still going to keep it to a double. So you're going to sit to piss. Because mathematically, we want these multis to win. So-- There are some weeks where we're going to be some weeks where we do a treble, but I think this week we're going to stick with a double yet again. But you and I have a combined best bet. Race one. Well, I'm happy with. Don't get smart with me, man. It's our best bet. And we'll be winning. Race one at Corvier number two, Angel's Fury. It goes in the multi. We think she's a very smart two year old who returned with a bang and might be able to go on with the job. So it was meant to carry 57 and a half. It gets him with only 54 and a half with the best statistical jockie in Victoria right now. It's a great bet to open the day. And Nico, you like? I'd like race five number. Race six, I reckon. Race six. Race six number one deck of luck is my best bet. Looks at a very good placement from the Kierema stable. Takes three off with jabbers as a claim and yeah, races of a field of horses that it's just should be better than. So I think around that $2.50 quote should be a good winning price up the jabbers. So that's $2.40 and $2.50 around $6 right now unboosted. If we can just pop that up to around $8 traders, fingers crossed tomorrow. Let's hope you actually get a positive boost. They probably don't ask us to take less than the coming. I think that would be fantastic. But right now, bottom. We're actually two from four in the podcast. Oh, he. Well, that's excellent. We're going all right. Four weeks in. They are. How do I'm mercy right now? Four weeks in and we've we're going at 50% and we're in $8.00 multi at a four to a lot of positive. That can only stay that like we're not we're not going to drop below 50% no. Not at all. A wonderful. So not with not with this strategic plan in place. The sky's a limit. Yeah. We've got so much data. Let's get to some. Some. Some questions now to round out proceedings. Obviously, there's not much going on in Sydney right now. There was plenty last week. Plenty of good favorites we liked. But they're honest. Many of these weeks. So. Let's get to our Twitter questions first. Chris the cast. It could help himself. Ten commandments. He's just one of the genius. He's just one of the. He's just. He's just seen us. He's just seen us doing things because he just wanted me to part of it. It's one of the 20 in there. He fell left out. He felt left out. I knew exactly what you were referencing. If for those who are obviously this is a podcast. So you aren't saying what's happening in the studio on now. The boy said point and shoot and we're referencing. Nico's finger pointing in the most recent video. Check it out on Twitter will open. How many how many views is it up to 6000? Be more than that. It's like 10. 10. I don't know. Surely not. Be more than six. Anyway, you got the shoot of Mangaven's out late in the piece. For those of you that were just wondering. It was Western missing the last. Pike in the last night back 9000. Back. Back. I think what you like. Go find your book and you play it. 9000 views. Real Nico. He's like. He's never really a shadow of a doubt. Ben, you watch the next to me. We just that that did show the wrap at the end of it. Never shadow of the out. Like in the last Nico in the last. There's Nico just doing what Nico does. You know you were such a big deal. Nico on the red rug. Nico on the red rock. Let's go to Twitter questions first before we wrap this thing up. Chris the cast are 10 commandments into Satona. We have in the July cup. Taking in as a double. Chris the toner racing. I'm not sure. How does this get blown? How does it get blown up and wise at Laurie Daly's fault? Who is? Laurie Daly's are a rugby. Rugby league man. Rugby league. Well 10 commandments. Lucky can obviously win. But we thought it was just a little bit short. And Satona, I have to. I'm trying to find the right. Just type in Satona. It's the July cup. He's $6. Where's he racing? The nation's son Al-Morak. I'm mission central one the. The. The. The Al-Morak. The king stand Al-Morak beat him last time. That's the horse in the. Yeah, it might be. I don't know. Satona, Revies sort of wearing thin a little bit. Simon Alvis. I'm in the blind stick and with him. That's a better. Not a question. Oh, so it's a ton of Rev did run very, very well. But yeah, just just got edged out by the haggis runner. I think that was Al-Morak. So I'm an Elvis says. No, not a question. More of a statement. Best racing podcast in my opinion. Great listen each week. A mixture of lighthearted, banter and serious horse racing talk makes my Wednesday and Saturday entertaining and plenty of winners too. Thanks, Simon. Thank you. Thanks, Rob. We do appreciate you. We do appreciate you a lot more because you've got a real profile. Setting that in. Thanks to you, Simon. We love you, Bob. Thanks, Simon. Appreciate you love every week. Rowan Greger. Have you thought about investing in a boxing ring in the studio? Nico should be allowed to punch on with a hater from Twitter. As the show closes out each week. Oh, geez. That'll be good. How am I just going to have on the hater from Twitter? Well, you saw my former, you saw my former the pub. Dead set. Farjack wouldn't stand a chance. There's, there's a good chance that, um, I mean, they'd have to come out from underneath their bridge to come to come to come to come to come to come to come to come to come to come to come to the street with you to or particularly you Nico here in the year, there's. We're on thin ice most weeks with this bet 365 sponsorship, but if we started doing up if we started doing this stuff, that's absolute triumph. I think we know it is. I think we'd be out the door. That's shit. You know, it is. Next question. That's a joke. Come on, Nico. I'll make it money. PS, Holloway to beat McGregor is easy fighting on Sunday, I reckon. And, and Kaira is in the Everest is the easiest $2.40 you'll see all year. Something for me to do on Sunday, but good on the pub. Um, more cash. Is he actually fighting or because he's been like meant to fight like 15 different times. Yeah, I think it's on Max Holloway and corner McGregor. He'll probably get caught. It would, it would be a huge upset if he was. We're positive swab. How long have you been doing this? Ryan Patton, we're going out for tea prior to the podcast. I imagine these are the following orders. Ben, grilled chicken and veg with electrolytes. Because he's an athlete. Nico, medium restake, mushroom gravy with a calcium dry. That's what's called. That's almost caught on. Calt and drafts, but with pepper sauce, not mushroom. Yeah, that's got fill it with mash. That's pretty close. That's only the best steak that you'll get in town at the rising sun. How you tell, Seth Melbourne and bought the kids nuggets and chips, apple juice and a coloring book. That is exactly right. Yeah. Spot on from our man. Spot on. Absolutely spot on. We expect nothing less. We're out. We're out. We're out. We're out. No, I've been getting a steak, but I go to the eye fillet and he's a princess. Yeah, man. Bought is in there. What do you drink again? Bolta. You drink bolta. So revolta is what it is. Bought's like the XPA IPA drinker. So he's on the weird craft. Queer. Queer. No. Robert Midwig plays XX. I've given my Midwig tip, which is Rebels Rome, yes. Do you boys have anything else? No, nothing. Racing enough. Least amount of winners have to have to take Lenny and Muttley out for dinner. Gee, that would be some incentive to not. To not tip losers. You'd like to be in trouble. If you want to, you need to take it about. Yeah, well, you've had like one tip on this whole podcast. I'll turn it up. What a two. Well, two busy overheating counting money, man. Anyway, it's half time. It's half time of the rugby. So we've got his attention right now. Wrap it up. And the last question is from Robert off to Japan next week. Anything to see or do, but it's a good question. You should you should 100% go to a baseball game. That was the highlight of the trip. That was awesome. You have to go to the baseball. Do you have a restaurant? Where can you get any? In Tally Murray can get those little cards. Oh, you find the little racing cards in any sort of 7-Eleven of family might. The best restaurant, the best dinner I've ever had in my life, was a place in Tokyo called Yakiniku Jumbo Hanaro. It the best. Yeah, I think you have to book like a couple months in advance. Maybe you would be able to do that. You're not organized. I did. You had that in your repertoire. Yeah, no, my repertoire is full. Yeah, you've got to be organized with some of these good restaurants. Yeah, it was a birthday dinner. So we did that. So yeah, Yakiniku Jumbo Hanaro. If you ever wanted to pay for anyone this thing, you like it. It is the best meat you'll ever have in your life. Everyone follow Will on Instagram as well. He put it out like a. No, no. Yeah, there's a cute little dump. A dump, that's what it was. There's a 15-footer. Very cute. And it's unlike bought to post that many photos. He's very. He just had to validate that Zoe's actually real. Yeah. Which we questioned for many, many years. That was a check to be fair. I still question it after the dump. Well, I haven't met her. That was a check. Yeah, I don't know if she's actually real, because I have never met her either then. You're up. It could be one of those AI girls or something. We've got four AI girls. Four Instagram questions. I am Nathan Burkett. Does Bot look at himself in the mirror while having a shell? Probably. What? Don't know. That's an interesting one. That's fun. Damon Winley did. Did Bot suffer stage fright while on the radio today? No, he did well. I thought he did well as a right. Yeah. Oh, I've had practice of doing podcasts. Yeah. You still don't really know how to talk properly, but that's alright. You're getting better. You are getting better. Stu Ferrenchi, am I the best 38 year old footballer in your country? - Yeah, how's it? - Didn't our man have an absolute debut? - I'm not sure. - I'm a performance last week. - Kick five. - Did he? - Not that eight. - Five. - Off the couch. - Kick five goals. - No praise. - No praise. - No praise. - No praise. - And kicks five. Next stop, the bomb is question mark. I didn't realise he kicked five goals. - Yeah, absolutely. He had a game and half. - Absolutely, he used to be a guy. - You don't lose your talent over not. - Jay must have been playing some witchers kind of stuff. - Oh. - Okay, don't you re-star on barbs? I saw the little ginger that held you to bloody two kicks the other weeks and I used to start. - Don't you start. - Come on. - Don't start. - Don't even start throwing bars. - The balls here. The balls here, Ben's here, Stu's here. Who's getting the ball? - Ben's afraid of context. Stu would actually hit Ben and he'd better be in the next week. - Then Stu break his knee or something. - I would get the ball first because I'm fast in him. And then I'd run away. - You'd wanna hope so. - Yeah. - Well, you don't play to your 35, play in contestative, put it in. (laughs) - Fair point. - You do it getting, Cheap kicks off the half-back line. - Fair point. - All right, let's wrap up the podcast there. Thank you very much for tuning in. Listen as we did get the podcast multi-home. We're two out of four since we've been in the studio. Bang bang, hopefully we can do it again, point and shoot.
