Shut Up Roaches, Wake Up Mindfulness

The hosts announce an exciting live show at the Irvine Improv on June 4th at 7:30 PM, marking their first Orange County event. They emphasize the rarity of such a live appearance and encourage audience attendance, especially since tickets are limited. The episode then shifts to a personal narrative about a severe roach infestation in their home, which began with a mysterious unboxing of items from Smirnoff Ice. The hosts discover hidden holes in their home’s structure, including one behind a cabinet that led to exposed brick and a potential entry point for pests. This discovery triggers a full home inspection and deep cleaning, with their partner using a steam cleaner to seal all entry points. The experience becomes a turning point, as the infestation causes emotional and mental distress, leading them to temporarily leave Los Angeles. The hosts also reflect on broader themes of self-policing, shame, and mental health, citing an episode of a show featuring a toxic, self-critical figure as a wake-up call. They highlight the importance of mindfulness, breathwork, and self-forgiveness, especially in a culture of surveillance and judgment. Drawing from a wellness retreat in LA, they promote breathwork and meditation as tools for emotional healing, noting a personal breakthrough where they released inner shame and embraced self-compassion. The episode concludes with a call to embrace personal growth, self-acceptance, and financial awareness, emphasizing that true well-being requires letting go of guilt and embracing change.

Guys. Are you guys dead ass serious right now? I'm literally starting you cordial walking into the villa. Guys, no, this is crazy. Okay, this is actually really crazy. This is actually really crazy. Oh, and y'all are sick is, y'all are sick. Oh, okay. Y'all are sick. So, right, right, right. And mind you, we, okay, it's just like the, the IRL unboxing is crazy. Oh, let's talk about it. Okay, well, before we open them up, I mean, I feel like now is the perfect time to say it, y'all. So, what's going to happen is we are going to review and do a recap episode every week talking about love island. Thanks to Smirnoff Ice. So, we'll have regular episodes and love island dedicated episodes. And it's just like, y'all prayed for this, y'all prayed for days like this, no, we heard your cries, we've heard your cries, and so we just had to like, talk to the big one and then like, get it popping. So, it's like, yeah. Like, a bad back. So, starting next week, just know that that's like the ticket. Packing our bags and going to Fiji. Wait, I'm like scared. This is crazy. Wow. Wait, oh wow. Wait, this is like, wait, oh wow. Really cute. This is cute. This is cute. This is cute as she. Wait, what is her? Wait, what the hell? Oh, wait. That looks so good on you. Wait, my towel. Girl. Wait. My towel that I'm going to lay out. I really, like, actually truly, like, I can't wait for summer, okay? I'm sorry to say it. Like, I'm over this. I'm over this spring. Can we talk about cosmic snow cone? I'm like, how I'm going to handle that later? I'm like, my dream day. Okay, cool. Oh, that's cool. Like, actually, like, seven or more. Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god. I'm like, oh my god. I'm like, oh my god. I'm like, oh my god. I'm like, oh my god. I'm like, oh my god. Okay. Oh my god. I'm like, oh my god. I'm like, oh my god. I'm like, oh my god. I'm like, oh my god. I'm like, oh my god. like she was like going in there to get water or something? Huge one. Again. - Yeah. - And I'm like, oh, that's like actually insane. - Well yeah. - That's like actually insane. - Yeah, yeah. - And these are like, you know, two weeks apart. So I'm like blowing up my property manager's phone, like get termings in here now. They go in there and they're like, okay, they start, 'cause they're like, if you see these big ones, it has to do with like the structure of your building. - Okay. - So they're coming in from somewhere. - I'm gonna stir up, go ahead. - So I'm like, well, all the drains are covered. And then he looks under my cabinet and he was like, okay, well, there used to be a hole here. I'm noticing, and then he goes into my bathroom and he's like, there's a hole like under your sink and it's just like the wall. And I'm like, oh, oh my God. And he was like, so I can spray and stuff and like they'll like stay away because like they'll die before they even like get in here. But he was like, you just never want to see them. Like you need to like, they're getting in from somewhere. - Yeah. - So then property manager has someone patch the hole. Okay, I'm like, all right, period. See a dead one in my living room two days later. And I'm like, what the fuck is going on now? 'Cause at this point, I'm like crashing out. Like I can barely sleep out my house. I'm like freaking the fuck out. And I'm just like, dude, I am gonna leave. Like I can't, so I'm like texting my property manager being like, there's still one. My girlfriend is like, okay, let's like sweep the house. 'Cause I'm like literally sobbing to her. Like I cannot live here. Like I'm freaking out. - Yeah. - And so she, like we're like looking and I'm like, okay, this looks like it's an on-seal. Like the sat, like in my, I have like a dining room. And in there, there was like a little like crack on the seal. And so she recalls it. Recalls it seems the room like everything boom. I'm like, bam, we got him. We got him. That night getting ready for bed. What, what goes down my hallway? The biggest, the largest. - Oh, they like in there. - So, and this is all within like a month. - Excellent. - Exiled the fucking plug. Like I was just like, oh, like the biggest. - Oh my gosh, but there's hell of 'em. - So it's giving like this is happening. Like I'm seeing like one a week. - Yeah. - Ooh. - Like this is like, from the start of the story, this is like, you know, number like what? - Yes. - Yes, yes. - For too many. - For too many, if you ask me. - Yeah, yeah. - The consistency's alarming. - Yeah, and I'm like, it's 'cause it's heating up. So I'm like, and we had like, you know, essentially what happens with these bugs based on my research is anytime the weather changes, they're like, I need to find a way inside. - Oh, perfect. 'Cause like, it's too cold outside. - Oh, perfect. - So I need to come inside. - Perfect. - And then it'll be like, it's too hot outside. I need to come inside. - Which doesn't make sense because cockroaches are like, actually the hardest thing to kill possible. So it's like, what do you mean you're cold? - And so that's the thing with the out, like the what, 'cause they're food sources outside. - Okay. - The big ones. - So the bug guys like, don't worry, you don't have an infestation. Like, truly they're coming in from somewhere. He was like, if you had the small ones, like I would say like, you do need to leave. 'Cause like, that's an infestation. Like, where there's one, there's millions, you know? But he was like, these big guys, like, they're already dead. Like, when you see that, but like, yeah, they are. But like, I don't wanna even, we don't need eggs. Like, I'm like, this is like fucking up everything for me. - Yeah. - Like, I'm not sleeping at night. I'm not cooking here. I'm not like, I can't. Like, I'm about to leave. And so, after I see that one down the hallway, I am like, I'm telling you now. I tell my girlfriend, I'm like, listen to me. Now, I'm leaving. I'm leaving here. I'm leaving Los Angeles. - Yeah. - And I'm moving to just anywhere where like, bugs don't exist. So, as I'm telling her this, she's like, okay. Let's like, go through your kitchen. 'Cause I'm like, 'cause I'm like, they can't be coming from the dining room because whatever. And then I'm like, they can't come from the bathroom because that guy sealed the hole. And the guy said there's no hole in the kitchen. But like, it seems like they're coming out from like, the kitchen. So, she's like, okay, she brought a new steam cleaner. And my girlfriend's very much giving like, she's very like, you know, she got a cult gun. She'd be like, building shit, like doing shit. Like, she's very much like that vibe. And so, I'm like, all right. Like, she was like, okay, let's take everything out. Let's steam everything. Let's like, get it really clean in here. And like, just whatever. So, she starts steaming my bathroom. And she goes under the sink and she was like, I'm weakest fuck that that guy said, there's just that one hole. There's literally another like big ass one right next to it. Oh. - Okay, that's it. Pat, she patches it. Boom. We moved to the kitchen. We're literally cleaning at like, she's like, has a steam cleaner out. And so, how my cabinets work? It's like the sink and then cabinet. - Yeah. - But they all like connect to each other. And they go deep as shit. And like, back against that is the wall. So, we opened the first cabinet and she like looks back there and she's like, there's like a hole back here. Pat is it. Goes under the sink and she's like, oh, this is like connects to the dishwasher. 'Cause I literally have her check like unscrew behind my dishwasher. And I'm like, bomb it. And she's like, there's literally, this is just a wall. Like, there's nothing that can get in here. And I'm like, okay. Checks under the dishwasher or the sink. She sees that it connects, like it loops around. We go to the next cabinet. When I tell you, my fists can fit through that hole. Oh, oh, burn it, bomb it. She seals it. And I'm like, holy shit, dude. Like holy shit, that's like insane. Go. So then it's like cabinet, dishwasher, smaller cabinet. Guys, when I open that small cabinet and it's just expro's bit. - Oh, okay, she can't. (laughs) 'Cause I'm having a stroke, 'cause I'm literally having a fucking stroke over this shit. It's exposed brick. Literally, I can see the brick of my house. I literally, we mind you. (laughs) Talk about the vermin, bitch. They're right there. I was like, "Oh, oh, my God, oh, burn it, burn it, burn it, burn it, burn it, burn it, burn it." I was like, "Luckily, it was just these motherfuckers and not a fucking raccoon." - Yeah. - Literally that. - Good fit. - Honestly, a raccoon would've been better though. - Honestly, a raccoon would've been better because I'm like, "Oh, show me." - Right, like, "Hey, here's an Oreo, just show me where the whole lot went." And do you e-roaches like all of that? - Do you e-roaches, girl? - I, when I tell you, I literally like, like, saw the white pearly gate. - Yeah. - When I saw the exposed brick, and mind you, we just patched it with like mesh and like, you know, sealed it with plaster. But like, it needs a whole, it needed a whole piece of wood. - Yeah. - Like, it was so fucking big. And I just could not like, I was like, went into like, I don't know. - I mean, but at least there's a hole. - Yeah. - 'Cause what would've been wassa is if you checked everywhere and there was nothing. - Nothing. - Well, and so then, I felt very affirmed in the fact that like, even though that guy did a shit job of literally just like, I don't know. - Yeah. - Yeah. - There used to be something. Like, exposed brick, a whole brick at like, when I tell you a raccoon could have got through there and let her have been like, hey. Mickey and Minnie. - That's crazy. - Mickey and Minnie, Daffy and not like, - No, literally. - No, one bitch. - Whole gay. - Like, goofy. - Like goofy and blue though, bitch. Honestly, girl. - Girl. - There too. I was like, oh, bluey and bingo bitch. Mom and dad, bluey, bingo. Like, I was like, oh, hell. - No. - So then, mind you. She cleans the fuck out of my kitchen and like, love my girlfriend so much. Like, thank you so much. Like, get you a mask who like, like, is doing that shit for real. Shout out. I'm like, happy that's behind us. We like, found everything. Like, haven't had anything happen since. I'm like, I am so happy that this shit's behind me. Like, that really fucked up my vibe for the past month. Like, that really had me like, not wanting to like, do anything. Like, I felt very like, prisoner of my home. Like, you know, yeah. This morning, this morning I woke up and my vibe was just kind of like fucked up. Like, my girlfriend's dog like, she like, sprained her like, shoulder. And so she's just been kind of like, I don't know, she can't get comfortable and she's like, moving around a lot. Didn't get the best sleep this morning. But, as we all know, on a marathon plan, so I had to get my run in this morning. And I was so fucking tired when I woke up and I'm like, honestly, fuck it. I'm just like, run after we record or something. And I'm like, let me be real with myself. I'm not running after I record. I'm not doing that shit. So I'm like, fuck it. Have my gym clothes. Let's rock. Get to the gym. Go to the bathroom. In the bathroom stall. Mind you, the membership that I pay at this gym. The membership that I pay at this gym, they, um, Komo say these say like, the only thing that should be greeting me is a bouquet of flowers. Like, I don't know how to describe that like, oh, hell no. Look down. And I see XXL, triple XL, the plug, bitch. Officially the biggest, the, The largest bitch I've ever literally the biggest bitch I've ever seen in my god damn life ever Period Like with allo on like I don't mind you my had a hat on literally was like good dammit I was like oh my god Like you're well because it also had to train like she was like good. I like where the fuck did London bitch? Like the streets of London literally this we need Todd fucking like I missed a top Like a fuck now like bitch. That's the shit they've had in the meat pies like that's that shit That was in like mr. Todd's fucking meat pies bitch like miss levels fucking meat pies I love it. Love it. I throw it. You're like a miss love it. You're like my biggest bitch And so when this happens when I tell you I Run out of the salt my pants are you Literally whole ass out whole ass out bitch. I don't give a fuck a shit And so I like scream run into like another stall Get out of the stall. It's coming into my Scream scream none of the girls give a shit mind you all of them are so Like I like so none of them like even are like oh like oh do something and you know what I mean? So I'm like oh, okay, so I just am standing mind you. I Didn't want to go to the gym I don't want to be here. I have like you know, so I'm just sitting Like sipping on an alonnie new right literally just in the locker room Hearing someone go into a stall just like this like literally just staring Disassociating for like ten minutes, and I'm like do I run? Well, did you tell someone so yeah, so I will cuz I was like should I just leave right now? You got to let them know so they can nuke the shit Well, so then I like go up to the maintenance girl who's like so sweet and I'm like hey sister I'm letting you know like miss love it in there like like singing They know like they ship to me like fuck. They ship that shit in from London. Oh my god Hey, Mr. Todd like I was like oh hell not like literally trying to see me like no sing to me. I was like No, thank you. I'm not hungry. So Excellent offer though. Let me see you like obviously handled it booty, and then I ran and then I came here And I like had to literally just like stare at a wall while I was getting ready cuz like It fucked my vibe up so bad, bro Like my vibe. Oh, that's like my vibe for the past month has just been like oh hell Yeah, like deleted road deleted roach deleted for a letter. He said delete it fat. So I was like, okay Okay, like I don't know Like I don't know why put lavotto in the Broadway like we need to know like put lavotto in my stall this morning I was like oh my god Telling me to delete it fat with my like I had to run out of the stall with my pants Lavotto Roach, um who lavotto Roach. So that's what's been going on with me for the past month But my landlord did a home. They're not in the home anymore and that feels really nice to know And my landlord did approve for me to get a new fridge. Is she gonna get it for you? We're gonna do a split C down the middle. Oh interesting love. Yeah, see because I was just like well I want to make sure I get what I want AK water dispenser and ice and like stainless steel. God forbid. Yeah, a water dispenser will be so tea a water dispenser and like, you know Water dispenser period. Yeah So yeah, that you know live loft love. I love LA. I can't I can't with the bugs, bro Dude when I tell you neither can I and I was just like You know it I cannot just describe like the phobia that I have towards bugs and like how I just like Simply did not cook in my kitchen for a month because I like because roaches are also like ins like roaches are so They're also like madam predictable, you know. Yeah, like a spider like you'd be like you're gonna be there Probably when I get back or you're gonna be like in that corner, but like roaches be like no like zigzagging and like Just moving as oh my god. It makes no that like actually makes me want to throw up. It makes me want to throw up And like they write and it's just like, you know, obviously I would not take the small ones like I think that is like a trillion times worse. Yeah But just know if you move into a vintage apartment if I could give you any notes We'll show and come to find out what we think happened was we had like water damage because the roof was messed up Oh, you know, and there was like some leaking happening. Yeah, we literally pulled like a piece of like Of just the wall like was just like there so I'm like it's just giving like that Happened and then that was a symptom of like the leak the leak type shit. So I'm just like okay amazing Love that no, but that's like insane. So like everyone before you move into a vintage apartment literally Open up under your scene. Yeah, yeah, I make sure there's no holes anywhere. There's no cracks anywhere Um, you have to do you have to do everything you have to because I'm like it's not worth the mental turmoil that I went through and then to experience that today at the gym Yeah, and I'm like honestly gonna ask for a discount this month because I'm just like Y'all can't like be putting me through that. Well, no not for that price hell no Not for that like definitely not for that price like girl Well, and that's just really unfortunate. No, like hey miss the talk. That's really unfortunate. I'm really sorry That's like I can't I can't with the bugs. No, I can't with the bugs either like that shit has me so fucked up Yeah, it's just like the worst ever. Yeah. Yeah. It's just like the worst ever. Oh Yeah, no, no, I'm in a spider house, but like that's a whole other thing like I'm working on it And at least you can vacuum them because they don't go anywhere. Well, and also too. I'm like have you sprayed gotten sprayed yet? I don't think so I'm into ask her like when I moved in it's not like a huge problem But like I be leaving my windows like busted open because I don't really have like AC in my room And there was like a biggie bag spider on my wall like when I went to sleep the other day and I was like oh hell now Yeah, but I am with somebody who doesn't mind killing spiders. So that's the only way that that works. Yeah It like puts me into like freeze like I can't move. I'm literally the well first off. I literally am the same way. Yeah, like I just and like It just can't be it just can't be and I literally you know me. I'm like well you got the house now. Yeah No, 100% like this over this show. How much rent is utilities come every like you know, oh my god I need to pay my gas bill. Oh my god. Yeah, I should but it's just like with how much I pay currently It's just like I I don't know if I could do the sneak attack like let me like move some things around Let me like do a little one too. I feel like the gas bill for me is I feel like it'll play it'll be it'll be super light now That's my first gas bill you see. Oh, because remember how I didn't know about paying gas and then like right right okay So this one might be like a little XL right but like Right but no, honestly L because gas is only from like heat and like right you're in the stir And the stove which I haven't been using. That's what I was gonna say so I'm gonna Honestly yours is probably gonna be like $25 Yeah, yeah, like I'm back to gas ours is usually like I don't know like $60. Oh, okay, tea. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. I'm hoping it's not that bad But it's only like expensive in the winter if you're running the heat a lot right and I just like literally like I just pay for everything like it's crazy. No, like paying for trash. I'm like what? No, then I'd be taking my trash cans out every fucking week too because of it. I'm like because I should like $80 a month Mm-hmm a lot of places like we'll pay for your trash for you Maybe I'm paying the cash that's separate from L.A.D.W Well, it is L.A.D.W So it's oh well then I don't know, but yeah, there's like a if you look at the bill when it's broken down Oh, that's how you know we late 20s. Yeah, y'all know about bills yet. Hey raise your hand if you know about bills like okay Um, yeah, the electric bills the one that for us is like You know, yeah big mama because she comes every three months Right, so that's the one I would probably like set aside for yeah, because that one is the sneak attack one Well, I need to like sit down and just like look at everything that I'm paying right now You don't even have enough time to do that, which like yeah like log into your account and see what's going on Because I'm like that in the car. No, it's just like okay everything Take go ahead and take everything take everything take it all and it's okay, but my credit card is maxed out right now, so okay Well, oh that happened but again, but I can't wait for the DM like we made it more. We made it more Yeah, you know, because they're evil. Well, I'm like, okay, I don't necessarily Want to shout this person out Because I didn't know his tea Caleb him Caleb hammer that I have no idea he like does Essentially someone who's like in a pretty bad financial situation tea will like yes Oh, hi, and who'll like go through all their like home through their finances And they'll be like this is how much that you're in this is whatever and then go like explain like why they're in so much debt And then he'll be like this is your plan to get out of it tea and he's giving Gordon Ramsay, but like Gen Z, I don't fuck with him because he does that like, he's very like mean. Like he will literally be like, "Well, it's because you're obese." Or it will literally be like, "Your finances?" Yeah, like he'll be like, "You're obese." So like, I don't, like, like, what is that what? Like, not even saying like, "You're obese." That's why you have bad finances. He'll just be like, "Shut up fat." Like literally talk to people crazy. He'll be like, "You're so ugly and you're this." So like, just shut that, that F up. - What? - Like, he, what? He talks insane to people. It's like, if you piss him off, it's, hold just like, go for a jugular. It's like all day long. - Okay. - I don't know how to describe it. - No, you're describing it. I'm just like confused. Like, essentially, there is this one couple. - Like, why would, why, why? 'Cause he's giving, like, tough love, which, - Why are you telling me, like, I'm ugly when we're talking about finance? - Well, okay, 'cause here's the thing. Okay, there was this one couple who, like, got married. And like, the husband, right. So the husband makes like 150K and lives in, like, Indiana or something. - Okay. - And then the wife makes, like, 50, 60K. And so, combined, that's, like, Indiana. And so, that's what he was saying. He was like, "I don't even understand why you guys are here, because you did ask make so much money." Like, I'm, like, literally confused. - Okay. - So then, he, like, essentially, what the guy does is he puts, like, everything on credit cards and then, like, doesn't pay at all. - Me. - Right. - But, like, the thing is, like. - Like, his credit card, like, he was literally one credit card, literally had a balance of, like, $50,000. - Yeah. - And that's the kind you just cut up. - Yeah, and, right. - And just handled. - And you're just, like, honestly, I'm-- - Like, guys, I don't know. - And that's the problem is, like, because they make so much money, like, he's paid down debt before. He's, like, gotten consolidation loans on all these things, but, like, he's back again, and, like, they want to have, start having a kid, and they want to do IVF, which is so bad. - Okay, guys, I don't want a money. - They also just paid for a wedding, and Caleb was, like, I don't understand, like, why you guys are, like, here. And then, she was, like, well, I hate credit cards. I hate credit cards. And he was, like, listen, insult, like, insult at her, and we're just, like, you say you hate credit cards, you hate credit cards. Look at your husband, like, did it all. And she was, like, and he was, like, and you won't leave him, 'cause you don't respect yourself. - Ooh! - Like, he'd be talking crazy as fuck to people, and I don't fuck with that shit. - What? - I don't fuck with that shit. - Okay. - But, like, the financial situations that, like, people-- - Oh, literally, I exposed her disgusting husband on financial days. - Guys, okay. - Because, well, the reason why I ended up watching an episode, two episodes, do you know? - Yeah. - I watched two, okay, I watched two. - That's okay. - And it's just, like, I really can't fuck with King, because, like, I don't subscribe to, like, how he, like, verbally attacks people. What I will say, though, is on that episode specifically, he didn't attack this, like, lady, because, essentially, what was happening was, like, she was the breadwinner, and her husband was, like, I apply for jobs all day. - Yeah. - Like, I'm literally applying for jobs. And then, he's, like, okay. And then, she's, like, well, I don't know. He's, like, always on discord. Like, he's always on discord. Like, all he does all day is, like, discord. And, like, I can't see what's, like, happening. 'Cause, like, she was, like, I've tried to check his discord, but, like, I don't know how to work discord. And I'm, like, okay, that's real. I don't know how to work discord. - Yeah, I would know he's there. - And so Caleb's just, like, well, I'm confused, bro. Like, what do you do all day? Like, why can't you help your wife? Because, you know, like, she needs help, and you guys would, they didn't have crazy debt, but, like, their situation was bad, because, like, you know, it's the transactions. You don't recognize that, like, add up type shit. - And so, Caleb was, like, okay, so then they were, like, going through his phone, like, and he's, like, roblox, roblox, discord, just, like, just, like, all these dumb transactions, he's, like, why won't you show her your discord, bro? Like, just show her the discord. And he's, like, or, let me see your phone. Let me go through your phone type shit. And he's, like, nah, nah. And he's, like, so then, Caleb goes through his phone. He's, like, texting all these random girls. In a way that I'm, like, first off, what do you guys qualify as cheating? I qualify as cheating? Who's this random person you're texting? Literally talking about some. - Good morning, sunshine. - Yeah. - If I, and that's, like, not you're, like, not exactly, like, you've never been to a person. - Like, your friend, you know, like, I, or, or, or, or, or, or. - Like, you know what I mean? Like, texting, good morning, good night. I miss you. I miss you. - Oh. - Oh. - I miss discord, miss discord. - On, like, yes, like, random people from discord. He has a Snapchat, but all, all his text messages from yesterday were, like, deleted before he got on the show. What of the texts he sent was, like, literally, while they're in the green room. - Oh, like, mind you, he does not have a job. - Oh, wait, you, like, don't have a job, though. - Like, how can he check in with everyone? - So then, as this is, like, transpiring, he's, like, will let me check your discord. Check this discord, obviously, he's literally talking to, like, a billion random, like, whatever. Literally, like, opens a chat. It's just, like, someone's nude. Like, you know what I mean? - How's that going? - Discord. Like, I'm like, y'all, I'm not on there, 'cause I don't know how to do anything on there, and, like, I don't know. So then, he's, like, okay. So if you're applying for jobs all day, like, you say, and also, the reasons why he's lost his jobs are, like, we're done. - Okay. - Like, he's, like, talks back, or, like, whatever. Like, I'm just, like, oh my god. Like, you're, like, giving, like, loser-vill-USA, like, I can't. So then, he's, like, all right. Let me check your indeed. Like, show me, 'cause his wife was, like, I literally applied for, like, jobs, like, she doesn't need a job, but she was, like, I just applied to see if I could even, like, get one. - Yeah. - And she was, like, I have, like, four interviews lined up, like, right, you know, within, like, the day, by the end of the day. And so, she was, like, Caleb was, like, show me your, your indeed. Like, show me all the jobs you apply for, and he's, like, no. No, like, I'm not showing you that, bro. I'm not showing you that. He's, like, no, you showed me your Discord, where you're literally cheating on your wife. Like, show me your indeed, and he's, like, no. Yikes. - Oh, 'cause you're, cheater, cheater from the media, and you literally also, like, don't, like, no requests spending. - Yeah. So anyways, she, like, ended up leaving him on the show, or she, he was just, like, leave him. You said you're gonna move in with your parents, live run free, pay off your debt, you'll have it done in, like, a year, and then, like, keep it pushing. And she, he was, like, and you're, like, you're young. So, he was, like, so there's, like, he was, like, there's recovery here, but, like, expose him on his show, and then, after that, I watched part of that one couple, and I was, like, I just had to clock out, 'cause I'm, like, hey, this is crazy. Be, you're, like, insane. And the way you talk to people is, like, actually insane, and, like, I cannot subscribe to that. But he's, like, giving, like, financial- - Financial literacy. - Financial literacy, and, like, he has, like, a whole, like, bust down bundle loop. - Well, yeah, 'cause that's a real-ass thing. - But that's a real-ass thing, but, like, the financial literacy. - The financial literacy of it all, and I mean, like, I was, like, the two I watched, I was just, like, gagged, and, like, what he was saying about people who have, like, more money, who, like, spend worse, because you're, like, I have more money, and I was just, like, Jesus Christ. - No, well, I feel, like, in LA, that I feel, like, with her job, though, it's, like, hard. - To spend money? - No, to, like-- - To spend it very easy. - No, to budgetate, no, no. - Well, I found it, unfortunately, very easy. - I'm, like, it's the budgeting of it all. - Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. - Because we were just saying, like, sometimes brands will, like, pay late in a way that, like-- - Like, monthly. - Needs to be studied, because I'm, like, in any other job, if you're a job didn't pay you for two months, you would literally be, like, I'm going to court. And there's, like, brands will just do that to creators, or 10, 99 people, like, freelancers all the rest of us, yeah. - Yeah, and you're just, like, oh my God, but, like, wait. - Yeah. - That's, like, a lot of money. - Yeah, it's really hard. I also feel like I'm just, like, for the first time, having a bunch of, like, adult bills, you know what I mean? And transitioning into that is also really fierce, 'cause I'm, like, oh, there actually is, that's, like, all my money. - Yeah. - And I like to eat. - Yeah. - It's awkward. - And, like, God forbid, we have fun, too. God forbid, we have fun, and I'm always going to have fun, but, like, honestly, like, genuinely, like, rock it money, and even on this video. But, like, she's been actually reading me, like, that man. Like, she's like, like, shut up, bitch. I'm like, what? Okay, period. And it's just, like, hard to look in the mirror. Like, I don't know. Like, I feel like, I feel like, no, thank you. It's fine. - No, I know. I set up, like, a meeting about, like, investments and stuff, because I was just like, okay, it's, like, actually, not funny anymore. Like, I'm like, Ronah Sheet now, like, you know, I'm trying to, like, do a little one, too. And so, anyways, I met with Joey, and he was, like, explaining everything to me, and I'm like, y'all just, like, how are you at? Like, I don't know. - Like, I don't know. Like, I don't know. - Honestly, I'm like, you're going to have to hit me and, like, caveman, like, Lingo, because I'm, like, this shit's, like, over my head. - Yeah. It's really unfortunate, because the financial literacy is, kind of, like, the whole. That is very inaccessible, very inaccessible. - It is very inaccessible, and, like, also, too, It's like, I feel like most of my friends who have that stuff set up is 'cause their parents have that set up. - Yeah, of course. - And I feel like with us too, it's tough because you have to be diligent about it on your own because you have to be diligent about putting money for taxes away. Boom. And then it's like, okay, you also have to be diligent about saving money. And then you know what I mean? - Yeah. - It's like, it's really hard. - There's a lot of splits happening. - Which for the freelance divas, go ahead and put that 30% away. Go ahead and put, even if you're like, "Damn, that's the whole damn check. "Put the 30% away." - Put the 30% away. - Put the 30% away, don't play because at the end of the year when they come, as we know that they will, they gon' come. - They gon' come. - Like, separate savings account type shit. - Oh. - That's what I'm on. Like, 30%, baby, I don't touch it. I can't. And sometimes I want to, sometimes I want to. - Yeah. - But I can't. - And I won't. - And I like separate account for rent and like-- - Yes, the separate account for rent was life changing. - Yeah. - Because I'm just like, I feel like that's honestly, if you want me to be the next nice, not evil, like Caleb Hammer, like, "God damn, he's so evil, "he's so mean, he scares me." That's like, that's like red, it's like borderline, like, to me, like, that's bullshit. Like, I don't fuck with that at all. So that's not me shouting him out on this, talking about a show. Even though I did watch you episode. - That's okay. - That's my account. - But I really don't support that, like, evil mean, like, roasty fucking trolley, like, I don't like that shit. That's giving Manos fear as fuck. - Yeah. - And y'all argue with the wall saying that's real. I'm like, you can be real and nice. You can be real and nice. With that being said, my advice as like, Dom Roberts, like, whatever is, yeah, put, if you're like freelance teas, go ahead and put that money. - Yeah. - And get your rent, like, get that shit, like, boom, boom, boom. Like, get the rent savings, get the, you know, even like, put like, a $50 a check for, like, utility. - Oh, but surely, there was, oh, well, and see, I don't have a utility as thing. But I do have, 'cause you told me about the rent savings, actually, game changing, because ultimately too, like, if you're a big spender, like me, it's just like, needing to know exactly how much money I have. You know what I mean? Like, when the rents aside and the taxes are aside, and you put them in the cave, and you're like, don't touch them, then everything in the middle is like, you know, more or less, you know, you should be saving some, but like, that's what you have. - Yeah. - That's what you can hold, and that's what you can use. - Yeah. - To live on. - To live on. Yeah, and that's like, yeah, I don't know, it helps you. It helps so much, and yeah, I put a little, you know, extra aside for some bills and like, some stuff. - That's very smart. - Yeah, but it really helps, 'cause then, yeah, what you have left is what you have left, and like, then you can do it that as you please. - As you please. - Yeah, and then, you know, and then yeah. - And then rents covered, so it's like no judge. - No judge. - No, yeah, 100%, 'cause it's like, it do be like, damn. - It's fucked up. - They want a lot of money. - They want a lot of things. - For a lot of things. - That I cannot have, so it's just like, okay. - I know. - Like, I could not have, but I'm fortunate enough to have being like, water and like, at like, energy, you know what I mean? 'Cause the gag of like me finding out that gas is different than electric, I was like, okay. - Oh, your car? - No, just like, in my place. 'Cause you remember how I didn't have gas for like, two weeks? 'Cause somebody for some reason was like, paying my gas for the first two months, I gas. Because also, this is the first time that I've ever, like, put my name on a lot of the bills. - Okay. - Okay. Before, like, in my previous, you know, roommate situations, like, I was paying the Wi-Fi. - Yeah. - And then everything else was a Venmo request. - Yeah. - So, in my head, I'm like, L-A-W-P, like y'all obviously do airy thing, 'cause it's like, electric water, like, P. Like, I don't know. - Power. - Power. - Exactly, no, power. And you would think that power's like, everything, oh, baby, tell my gosh, shut off. - Yeah. - To my gosh, shut off. And I was like, what the fuck? And they literally like, put a little lock on my shit. I was like, what? 'Cause now you gotta talk to the gas, man. - Yeah. - Who's not the same as the power, man, which is weird, which is weird. - Instead of the gas. Like, there go another honey right there. It's just like, okay, cool, cool, cool. So. - But once that's like, taking care of, I will say, gas is the least of your problems. For you, especially, it will be like a cool $20, something. - Yeah, well, I'm trying to, you know, be on my, like, bobby flay. So, like, I don't know, but, like, I'm gonna suck it, I'm gonna suck it. - No, the, what, like, hikes makes your gas expensive, really, truly, is the heat, the heat of that. - Well, they took out my gas. - The heat of that. - The heat of that. - The heat of that. - The heat of that. - So, fuck. - Oh. - Yeah, no, I just have an electric one. - Oh. - Yeah. - This one's drier, do you know if it's electric or gas? - It's gas. - Okay, well, then that will go on your gas. - Right, and, you know, I, like, get hot, so it's just, like, whatever. Like, honestly, guys, fuck it. - Well, I'm just, like, okay. - Oh. - Yeah. - Yeah. - Yeah. - It's just a lot of stuff. - But yeah, like, I don't know. - Okay, boom. - This has been happening. - Oh. Well, guys. Exciting things. We have an Irvine show. - Oh, my God. Yeah, we do have an Irvine show. - Guys, we have an Irvine show. - Oh, June 4th. - June 4th. - I don't know. Y'all find me. It's in Lincoln, bio. - Yeah. - But we're gonna be at Irvine, in Pro. - Right. - And it's gonna be very fun. - It'll be a key. - And we've never done an Orange County show. - Right. - So I'm, like, come through. - Even if you're the best. - Yeah. - Come through. - Yeah, that'll be nice. To do a little Irvine once you would spend. - Right. There we go. - June 4th. - June 4th. - The 4th at 730, all, you know, if you wanna come, like, key. It's been a minute. We're all key in a second. - Yeah. - Well, maybe like two months, but. - Yeah. - It's kind of long for us, I think. - That is. - So, yeah, it's been a minute, too, since it's been like a key that wasn't a school key. - Oh, yeah. - So, if you're trying to come key up, like, yeah, we might have a little one, too, there. We're working on some things. We're working on some things behind the scenes. - Oh, yeah. - So. - Yeah. - Maybe. - We'll see. - Maybe some exclusive information. - Right. - Some of the, maybe some first access to some things. We don't know. - No, no, no, no, we're figuring it out, so don't hold this to it yet. But we'll let you know as soon as we know. - But it'll be a key. - It'll be a key. - But yeah, dude, I literally went to last night. I went to a soundbath. A soundbath. A somatic healing shoutout, umi, like, dot us. - Oh. - Oh. - Girl. - She's everything. - Two things. - Number one, reminded me, like, in my, in my like, you know, my idea of my future and just kind of, like, the things that I care about, mindfulness needing to be more accessible. - Yeah. - Let's wake up the idea of just hosting, I mean, well, when you have the power and the knowledge, definitely, and just hosting a somatic healing situation. - She's, like, very in it to it. - Well, yes. And I'm, like, honestly, even in a, and I always think about when Kaley used to do, like, the free yoga, like, just the ways in which we can open up mindfulness to the public because it's actually, like, so insane, how stressful, no matter what your situation is and what you're doing, the levels of stress that we live in, lest us not forget, lest us not forget the time that we're in and just how insane the world is. And I think that, like, mindfulness being like a tool to, you know, kind of, like, work through some of those things, especially when you don't have access to, like, therapy and things like that. It's like, let's go ahead and wake that the fuck up. - Yeah. - That's my first thought. Second thought. You're like, um, does anyone care about the craft? Does anyone care about the practice because, actually, like, genuinely, first of all, was my first time doing, like, breath work, which, like, if you've never done breath work, like, maybe you literally get, like, high, like, I don't know, like, you're doing such deep and, like, quick and kind of just, like, your body, like, yeah, vary that girl. I literally, that ex-like meditation club, I literally, like, hugs my inner child, and then, like, I squirted her out the fuck of my body, out the fuck literally, like, the fuck out of my body in a way that actually, like, healed something in the last, like, six months. Do you know what I'm saying? Because it's just like, also, let's talk about this. I feel like, let's talk about a lot of things, the revelations, the downloads. Let's talk about, like, I saw this tick talk the other day that was talking about, oh, my god, my king, I'ma find him, I'ma find him, and I'ma, I'ma put him on the YouTube I have to, because you know that king? He has the glasses, he's black, and he'd be, like, spit in. Yes. Yes. He was talking, he had this clip that was talking about, like, how we try to, like, purify ourselves, like, how we kind of, like, become so self-surveillance that we, like, purify ourselves. And I was just thinking about how, like, the last couple months and, like, the rumination and, like, these random, like, feelings of shame and, like, all these things, like, coming up at the same time that, like, our lives are completely changing, and we're very, like, public now, and, like, all these things, and just having a revelation last night, like, oh, my body's, like, trying to, like, purify my shit, like, for the first, not for the first time, but I think I've been feeling subconsciously brought up to the conscious, again, shout out in the beach. Like, you literally, like, thank you so much, and shout out to some out of healing. Um, the revelation of, like, oh, like, life is so good right now that I'm, like, like, oh, I have, like, stuff to lose. Yeah. Like, the stakes are, like, higher, like, dream job, like, all of our friends. Like, everything just has been going, like, so well, and I think in a way, like, it's been making me almost, like, more anxious, 'cause now it feels like there's something to, like, hold on to. Yeah. Or just, like, something that, like, really matters and something that I really care about. Um, so with that, like, my brain trying to, like, actually purify my entire being, like, literally started the tape at the top and was, like, what's everything that you hate that you did, bitch, let's just, like, try to eradicate it. And it's like, well, that's not how time works, you know what I'm saying? Um, so within this amount of healing, like, actually had to, like, like, Michael Jackson biopic, like, hug every air of myself and literally be like, but you're not even, like, here and no more. - You know what I mean? - Yeah. - Anyway, so all of that experience, just kind of like in this really sickening, just like a breath work cycle. I'm like, why don't we talk about mindfulness? Why don't we talk about spirituality? Why don't we talk about the link? Because it's like mind you. Have that experience literally scream, well, she told us a scream. Screaming, crying, like whatever. Come out of it literally like. Okay, like we're like, I'm literally like that bitch. The bitch with the heels like stepping into the next thing type shit. Why did I get a fucking DM? Shout out, Abriel. Bob. Why the fuck did I get a DM talking about some? Girl, I was having a dream about you last night and like, we like met up at this like Italian restaurant and you'd just done this like crazy like vinyasa experience and you were like telling me how much you loved it. I'm like, baby. Blinks, blinks, blinks. And then last night I was telling, oh, almost docs. Last night I was telling, you know, my tang, my tang. Last night I was telling my tang because afterwards I was like, okay, so you now you have to come over and like we have to actually journal like manifest our future lives because like I just actually stepped into the next. Like girl, like it's shedding and it's just like, okay, like what the fuck? Y'all shame is a landfill emotion and rumination fucking sucks and ruminating only leads to more ruminating. So it's like, let's just go ahead and stop that right now. There's like a, um, in my OCD therapy they talk about 'cause I need to get into her. Honestly, I'm like, shout out, no CD. It's like, so T, no CD? Yeah, it's covered to through insurance. It's completely free. Okay, period. Which I like, we can get into it. But anyways, there's this graph that my therapist showed me, which is like essentially like the OCD, like rumination graph of like, it's like a cycle of just like how it peaks and like, you know, I think specifically with OCD too, which you know, recent diagnosis for me, but like lifelong living with it, runs in my family very deeply, especially on my dad's side of the family. Um, and, you know, I think now post, you know, I'm an adult and I have agency. I was just like, all right, like let's, you know, open up these can of worms and like, whoo, very, very affirming. Yeah. Very, very fucking hard work. Like, yeah, it's really hard work, but like a, but like essentially the graph is like, you know, thoughts are like thought enters, you like build it up to the point of like, whatever, and then you find a way to shut it down. You know, we're in like, that's the typical, like, you know, that's even kind of what like, not OCD therapy, like talking to you, like, okay, just take the, you know, whatever, like, and I feel like in the other graph of like, how you kind of come to the other side of like, not letting that flare up be so fucking, you know, 'cause like, if you struggle with that, you know, it can be an all day. - Things to build it. - Yeah, literally debilitating. Like, you don't do anything for the rest of the day because you're stuck, whatever. And it can manifest for everyone in a million different ways. And like, I feel like for me, the older I got, it really started manifesting in like, physical ways and like, so many like other things too, where it wasn't just left in the mind. And that graph of her just being like, to be able to sit there and like, just let it like, boom, boom, boom, boom, like really like explode type shit. - Yeah. - And then like, what, however long it lasts and then like, come out the other side like, well, they're still here. - And we're still here. - And we're still queer and like is like, period. But no, it really is like, I feel like no one talks about like how, you know, it really is such a crazy thing that like, I feel like yeah, in practices were, you know, that's essentially what you're doing. Like in those breathwork sessions where you're like, looking very deeply and intensely at like, you know, those eras of yourself and like, being able to be like, well, and that was me. And I love you so much and come give mama a hug. - Well, and it literally get, yeah, like I was like, oh, is this like, those are just breathwork. - Right, it's breathwork. - No, and then when I got in on some confirmation shit 'cause also it's like, as I feel myself, remembering the power of like the woo-woo, which I'm like, honestly, have been out of practice when I needed it most type shit. I'm like, oh, y'all about to get sick. When I come back with literally like a spiral tattoo, like all my forehead. 'Cause I'm like, less does not forget, like my shoes well. And it's like, the fruits of the manifestation are very alive and present. But when I was telling, when I was telling my tang about that shit last night, I was like, yeah, you know, and like, dah, dah, dah, dah, dah, dah. And like, literally like, hooked my, hooked my inner child and like, took her out my body. Why did a firework go off down the street and it sounded like a gunshot? - Thank you. - And I literally go confirmation that I was like, damn, that was low-key rude as shit, though. Like, it was like, boom, I was like, okay, well, hold on. Well, it was more of a this. Let's come on. - Yeah, yeah. - Okay, like, you know, release back into the ether feeling. But you know, it's just like, it's always like, hallelujah, the present moment, hallelujah, everything that we've, you know, learned and grown into. And I think like, one of the biggest revelations, like, on some, like, I don't know if this resonates with anybody just in like, remination and like, shame, I feel like, especially like, Gen Z, we be on our pureed engine. Like, we be on our, like, oh, no one wants to be the cornucopia of surveillance more than the police state of fucking the police thing of each other, guys. - And I'm like, the policing of self, 'cause it's like, again, this subconscious, like, oh, look how it comes back around. And now I'm over here like, and like, when I was 13, like, I accidentally, like, call this bitch, like, stupid. And like, I should fucking back, like, the drama. - The drama, well, and see, 'cause that's why the drama has to come out right now. But just like, within the kind of like, the conservative Puritan state that we live in, which like, hey, we gon' work on it. And we'll find our way and like, you know, like, let's just hope everyone keeps like, trying things and like, death to cringe culture. I feel like for me, it manifests very like, well, like, if everyone knows that I'm not like, perfect, like, are they gonna fuck with me? Oh, that make me tear up, see, it's not funny. See how it's not funny? But like, that, like, you know, that thought, like, genuinely, that rumination of like, like, like, girl, everyone, including yourself, like, loves you for all of the ways that you've kind of like, grown from your mistakes. - Yeah. - I should have just like, the person who feels like, oh, I didn't fuck with that thing I did. Like, I don't fuck with that. Like, that person, rather than attaching like, all of those things to the thing, you know what I mean? Which I feel like, for me, has been like, the really hard thing of, again, like, trying to kind of, like, purify my being in this way of being like, well, if I've like, never done anything wrong or I do nothing wrong ever, then everything will say the same. - And it's like, it's like self, yeah, it's the self forgiveness of it all. And I think also too, it's, yeah, it's like letting go of the policing girl of self, the policemen, bro. - The blue flag sticker on my shoe. - Yeah. - So he had me like, oh, bitch, like, you go in a jail, you're going to shit. - What the hell? - And you know what? - What the hell? - And that's what I mean. - And that's what-- - 'Cause A-Cab. - 'Cause A-Cab is fuck. And also, and that's what I mean about the sentiment of like, you know, this is on a very smaller scale and in a broader sense of like, even when people listen to a clip of the podcast and like, what the fuck are they fucking talking about? And they were like, I'm not listening to this dumbass show. Or like, I see someone make a vague tick talk about something and then there's discourse about us in the comment section or something. I'm just like, listen. It's the same concept of like, if you fuck with me, you fuck with me, and if you don't, you don't. And it's just, I feel like you, you know, it's kind of that piece of like, letting go of, it's so outside of your control. - Yeah, totally. - It's so outside of your control and it's so like, you know, it's just like, hey, we got to move forward in peace and power. And also it's just like, maturity, like, of understanding that like, I'm not who I was when I was 13. - Yeah. - And I'm not who I was when I was 22, 17-bit. You name it. Girl, Christian Girl, Autumn, Dom, Dom today. - Totally. - All the versions that are my favorite and all the versions that were the worst, I'm like, girl, and she me. - Yeah, we're like a product of what we like and don't like, you know what I mean? So it's like, period. - Exactly, but yeah, I definitely feel like we suffer so much. We suffer so much and we like, lose so much greatness and I feel like, just even the conversation of like, everyone sounds the same and everyone talks the same and it's just like, well, yeah, because when anyone tries to give an opinion that's different, it's like, yeah. - Oh, literally. - Oh my, oh, yeah, no, it's literally like, oh my God. - It's tough. - It's like, literally sniper too. - Like, oh, no, it really, it really is. And that thing, like, those kind of things really like seep into your subconscious. So I'm like, sometimes you literally have to do like, 30 minutes of straight, like, breath work where you're like, dizzy type shit to like, get back in your body enough to just kind of like, remember the presence of the moment and be able to literally be like, hey. - Come here? - Yeah. - Okay. - Bye, girl. Like, hey, I've grown from the seed. Of everything. - You know what, you would love everything. - Of everything. - Really, you love so much. - Did I, so have you heard of Open before? - You would live. Honestly, you should, they are like a wellness studio. They have a physical location in LA. And like, I went on a mad happy like wellness retreat. - Yeah. - Two, three years ago. - Yeah. - And they had Menage who used to work at Open. I don't think he does anymore, but love him so much. He like, led a breath work class. It was my first time ever doing breath work. like actually incredible. It's like absolutely incredible and so they opened up a studio in LA and I went again and like I mean the studio is like insane. It's like so awesome We love and they have like so many different wellness practices, but they have like breathwork classes and stuff Yeah, breathwork is tea But they have an app and like the guided meditations on there the like they do yoga Restore like literally you name what you need and like it is so Like I it's like the most intuitive like wellness app. I've ever used before And it's like so worth the subscription like it's what it's honestly. It is my favorite wellness app Yeah, because I feel like sometimes you know instead of yes There are really great guided meditations and stuff and like so many amazing like again the accessibility on YouTube Yeah, thank God, it's you know like or like if you have Appling music Spotify or whoever you use like a lot of them have like stuff on there like creators They highlight who do guided meditations all those things, but open is so good and like no Yeah, they be waking it up in a way that's very like sacred and you know Right they acknowledge where the practices are coming well And because when it literally breaks you down to like the body and mind in the current place And like we're all a vessel and just like sponges of life. I'm like right because no shade That's where I'm comfortable y'all Like thank God no the breathwork was actually insane also something else that she said that really resonated with me too was She was saying that like when you're feeling anxiety and stress in these things like when you are practicing mindfulness The goal isn't to like pretend you're not anxious But the goal was to be able to follow the anxiety for it to tell you like what it's trying to release essentially And that's what had me literally like okay Let's break it all the way down to like am I just like anxious as she or like do I just really love my life right now in a Bitch is scared, you know, I'm saying like in the sense that you know, I mean there's like again I feel like we talk about it at least like an episode like you know at least like once a day on any episode Not for or honestly once a day period period But like I you know we recorded with good children Yes, you know that episode with I love Joe and Andrew so much like they are genuinely you know And you just like meet someone you're like, oh, you're just like it's all ties totally it's like that was very much our situation like Joe and Andrew and like they are just You have the best people I have met in so long like I just love them so much and like literally I We were kind of talking about that like similar experience of like they Had a very fast like coming up The you know in the podcast world and like same with us and like I just think about how fast things have happened and change for us Yeah two years and like honestly even in our first year. Yeah, I was like looking because Thank you guys for a hundred. Okay, right. Joe. Mind you. I'm trying to relate. Thank you guys so much for a hundred. K like Thank you. It's insane. It's absolutely insane, but I was looking at throwback pictures of like A when we first yeah, everybody for that yet when we first started and be like when we the week we posted our first episode Yeah, and I was like it was like crazy cuz like even in that first week. Yeah, like Too hot like I think in our first two weeks you had like 200 subscribers, which is a lot. Yeah, are you? We were like what we thought they were gonna be we thought they were gonna be 20 and it's like our friends and there are friends Literally in our good chat. So when in that first week it was like 200 and then I saw like even on our tech talk like we were like I don't know maybe like 20 videos deep. Yeah, and like all of them are already getting like pretty crazy consistent views and stuff and like hi Was just like holy shit talking mushroom like this journey Came so fast and like yeah, you know, yeah, you like really really fast the army has grown So fast too, and I was even thinking about like you know some of our OG's like Jay and bread and like the divas We be seeing in the comments. Yeah, yeah, shout out shout out like seriously from like day I was just like thinking about them and thinking about like all the people who like have really like stood like 10 toes down with us, you know, and like of course as we continue to grow and like add more people to the neighborhood and stuff It's like We got to remind ourselves and find a way to like come back home because it's just like no one to have you on finding a way to come back home Because it's just like bro like shits always gonna get crazy, but I'm like yeah, the The foundation in which this podcast was made was from like a very Pure place and it's like all these amazing fun things like a love Island series and like smurred off ice and like you know TMG family and like all these things, but it's just like at the end of the day It's like less this number forget the roots of this Which is like to key key with the girl and I think definitely just like remembering I don't know I feel like for me like the way that this kind of like undercurrent of like anxiety Maybe about just like the pressure of like you know wanting to maintain and like wanting to show up and and Just feeling that you know anxiety at the end of the day, which I had to again like it took 30 minutes of like breathing How fast to be like okay bitch like you're trying to protect me. Okay. Like fuck you also. I love you I also we love you and like get out of me, you know I mean like literally like I review and but like I accept and like release them. No actually Um, I think like I don't know with everyone who's doing anything and just like with how fast life can be and all the things Just like yeah always coming home and remembering that we're people and like remembering that You know shit's gonna come up. She's gonna come up. She came up She came up like literally she came up like I had a doll. I for the last like six months not saying that's like over but definitely feeling like The oveanness of like now. It's more like okay Maybe she walked out. I saw her. I saw her in my mind's eye. Yeah, I saw her and so it's like okay Let's rebuild and you're starting to like you know Cross into like accepted acceptance of like this new era and it only takes us some somatic healing at the end of the day Like it's really guys, and I'm like, you know, I think like early days until like you know the mental health journey of it all because having this job Not podcasting so much podcasting Yes, for sure and like but also being a creator as well and having to post like that Yeah, that's like the whole that's the whole that's like that's kind of the whole Yeah, because I'm like this part where we just like key key, you know with y'all That if it was genuinely if it was like just this Maybe I would know it yeah, I'd be sign like you know I don't say we know back talk, but it's just like plus the online presence of it all and you know through online We meet so many amazing people yeah for sure so many amazing like connections opportunities Yeah, and like fucking sure but with that is like another whole beast in it of itself And like again, not 400 hours of manual labor, but like more so the mental fortitude. Yes, because it's giving like It's giving street sweeping like I was in therapy like Just like the the very fears kind of like random rumination that really stood out for me because that's just like not my judge And like what that did and like the effects of like how that literally like actually like shattered my house type shit I was in therapy like and you know what? Let's see how it didn't start there. That's just the culmination babe like it was giving like maybe the street sweepers didn't come through for like Three months, and then it was like when it's time to switch like sweet sweep like now I literally have to like get out of shuffle you know who's saying and it's like you know the reminder um Of the practice the body is a temple the body And the mind mom of the mind is the real temple because do we want to talk about the mind body temple collab like it's really scary Not scary, but like very awesome But it's like it's really deep hard fucking work like yeah I I feel like that's the other thing too like even when I first started that journey of like Trying to find answers because I think like you know for me for the longest time and like you know I mean, I guess in the beginning of starting the podcast, but like not so much I was kind of on the tail end of like Coming around and like finding healing for myself was like who maybe the depression Yes, the depression that like hit me like a ton of bricks when I turned 24 and like had to figure out what was happening when I turned 25 26 like literally figuring out like Depression, yeah period. Yeah, um that was like you know hard and it was like a long journey and like involved birth control and Hormones and like all these things that's a whole other conversation. Yes, and That yeah, that beast and demon to now be on the other side of that and like face other things But like knowing I face that first and yeah, it's just like a lot like it's a lot of shit Walls everything's going on. Yeah, 100% you know, uh, yeah, yes. Yeah. Yeah, you know literally. Yeah Well, I found out. Yes. Yes Like the month below was actually like insane and it's just like excited always excited for the next day It's always better. But if anybody is feeling like mad a shadow like if you're just on your like anxious shit Which like how could you not be just like with the social economical seat of the world But you know on top of that whatever you bring to the chat, which like is safe and accepted to do that five minutes of breath work and see what happens. You know, I'm saying like not to say that's the cure, but it's like something about being forced back in your body. Like I literally was like, wait, hello, wait, hello. So let's keep that good vibe going. Let's keep that good vibe going. No, yeah, like the comp of like the firework bullet shot. I was like, okay, I was like, okay. - You're like, hey. - I hear you. - No, I was like, I center off with like flowers. So I don't know why we're trying to shoot at her. - I know there's literally like fireworks in there. - No, literally, but I'm like, yeah. - But like bones. - So it's just like, thank God, and like, I don't know. - And have you on like, I don't know. - And like, I love living in LA. How about that? - I love living in LA. Oh, there was like one thing that I'm touching on so quick. - Oh yeah, too, of course. - Did you see the TikTok of the girl that said actor wait? - What? - Yeah, there's a girl. - Well, that's why I have a brick now, 'cause I'm not doing that. - Oh, that's why I have a brick. - Baby, I logged back on. I saw that James Charles should. I said, I'm going back off. - Well, and it's just like, what even low key for me, it's giving, what do I even need to say? - Here's the thing. - What do I even need to say? - Here you done wrong. - Here's the thing that I think is so important to James, which whatever girl, I don't even fucking know where to start with your ass, but I'm gonna leave it here. I have been someone who's clocked in for a job. I don't think James Charles has ever physically clocked in somewhere. - Well, and that is the problem. - Let's already take it off the podium. - Yeah. - You know what I'm saying? - Well, that's what I mean, girl. - If you haven't physically, I mean literally typed in an employee number, like literally like a W-2, hit the time out for break, hit the time back again, yeah. - Like W-2 employee, not no 1099 escort. - No, no, no, no, no, baby, I'm talking about you clocked in somewhere physical. Maybe you had to pick some shit up. Maybe you had to clean a toilet. Maybe you had, even working at a retail store. - Mm-hmm. - Where I had to quit. - If you didn't clock out for lunch because they literally about to get mad at you if you like kept your hour for lunch on the payroll, I don't wanna hear nothing about it. - If you? - Not nothing about it. - So I don't wanna hear shit about, oh, did it, shut the fuck up. Literally shut the actual fuck up. Shut the fuck up. I don't care if someone's been following me for a day, an hour, a minute. I don't care if they a don't follow me, be literally sent that message to me and 500 other people. It's actually, that's how bad it is. That's how bad it is right now. That people are literally turning to people on the internet for help. That, think about the desperation. You would have to be at, to literally talk to someone to never, to literally message James, sorry, ask Charles and be like, could you possibly help me? Could you possibly help me? - And honestly, - Whatever happened to the like, whatever happened to just ignore? - No, whatever happened to like sending with love. Okay, period, like maybe I'm not gonna do that with love. - What about just- - But honestly, no, but here's the thing though, is I'm like, you should post it. - You should post it. - You should come on and post it because- - That's how you feel. - If that's how you feel, that's how you feel, period. Number one, number two, get some lashings. - Get some lashings, because why the fuck, get some lashings, period? See how you feel after the lashings? Step three, see how you feel after the lashings? Did it change your heart? Did you sit down with yourself and really think, why did I even, let's like break it all the way down to like, why did I even say that? Why did I even feel? - And you know what's so crazy? - It's like now deleted, but like, people scream recorded it and he was like- - Oh, the apology? - He was like, yeah, he started an apology from bed and he was like, I was just feeling triggered. - From triggered about what? - What, what fucking thing? - Like, okay, yes. Yes, okay, oh. - They're, you know, I'm gonna try and find it, which is like, okay, maybe you don't want to feel like a bank or something, I don't know. That's the closest idea I could possibly find again. I just feel as though A, shut the fuck up. B, shut the fuck up, C, shut the fuck up. Like, triggered about fucking what? You really? - And why, like, let me take you one deeper as a girl who just did breathwork last night. Like, literally and I feel like I'm, let me feel like I'm like stones. The triggering is so funny. It's really interesting because, let me implore you another perspective, which is, you don't want to feel like a bank, what an amazing position. - To be it. - To be in that people genuinely are like, your wealth could actually trickle down. - Yeah. - Like, trickle down economics. Like, my perception of your wealth is that, which obviously, there's some truth there, I would say. - If you're live from a mansion in LA and like, a part of your-- - Talk about why the fuck do you think I'm a bank? - A part of your very recent content was what luxury car you're gonna buy? - Yeah, nigga, you look like a bank. - You're giving, if you look like a bank, you sound like a bank. - You're giving big, big, big, big energy. - Bank, take little bank. - Big, big, big, big, little bank. - Type of money, girl. - And honestly, you know what's so crazy? You know what I want to actually implore James Charles to do? It's something I personally have been refilling called to. And it's something that is so important. And it's honestly one of the things I miss when I was like, Christian Grautem was service. Holy fucking shit. You wanna get your mind right? You wanna get your heart right? You wanna like literally remove yourself from your situation, take, you wanna get gratitude? Apply yourself to service. When is the last time? And I mean, actual service. Not just like, oh, I do, you know, I have a reoccurring payment on someone's, on some GoFundMe's or like, I reoccurringly give money to, no, no, no, no, no, no. Yes, financial service, yes, and physically take your body somewhere and apply yourself to someone that needs help. Go to a nursing home. Go literally go to the Watts Center, down in Watts, and stay there for two, three hours and help those kids do homework. Weekly, commit yourself, one month. Am I busy at schedule? I'm gonna go down to the Watts Center, help kids do homework after school. Then I think you would shut the fuck up. Then maybe if you were, you know, handing out sweaters, helped out at the soup kitchen, fuck it, everything's giving. You help out with distributing things, giving meals, just something. I think if you committed, and that's the thing too, with these people that get so fucking out of touch with shit, y'all don't commit yourselves to service. Like, genuinely, I think it's so important in something that like, I feel very called to do recently, but like, and to like, enter back into because it's just like, it's so easy to get out of touch. And I think if you're not consistently brushing shoulders or like, you know, giving money to someone who's unhoused and not thinking twice about it, and not being like, oh, where did they just give it to them? Just don't even think whatever they use it for. Yeah, that's what they get to use it for. Hell yeah, you gave someone $20, awesome. Commit yourself to service. And see what that would do for your heart, James, because it would seem as though you like forgot. Or maybe you never knew. Well, I don't know, right. I don't know. I don't know which one it was. You don't know, we don't know. Maybe it's both, maybe it's like, you never knew and you don't give a fuck and you forgot. Bitch, it's tough out here. But I'm like, let the girls speak. Let the girls post a little one, too, because honestly, like at the very root, it's like, post your one, too, you thought you ate that. Maybe you still think you ate that. Okay, fine. Let's offer some different perspectives in the chat. Let's really have a conversation about what this looks like and what this says and what this means, because I'm like, yeah, let's wake that up. 'Cause when I saw Ms. Jackie pull up, I was like, ooh, come get your lashing. No, let's talk about it, because ultimately, I mean, you know what's my point about the police state? Like, ay, just ay, come here. A brainstorm session. Bring some. Say what you got to say, let's offer you something else. And then, I mean, I was not the energy, but like, you know what I mean. Like, yeah, it's giving like, girl, come here. Well, 'cause we about to put you back in touch. 'Cause I'm like, girl, you thought you were about to say that and what we were all about to be like, you're so right. Oh my god, bitch, get a job. Oh hell, no. Oh hell. Oh hell, no, and let the girls let you know that that's oh hell, no, because in case you forgot, in case you haven't checked in with like, people, I don't know, like, literally where you from, the Bronx, the world. This is what's going on. And this is what's going on, man. And it's real. And it's not just. Oh, it's very fucking real. Like, it's very real. Speaking of real, I'm going to do my- We're dissociative. I'm going to do my public lashing real quick. Right. And I'm going to let this girl go to the drawing board. This girl posted a video saying, "Act your weight." Right, sorry. I didn't mean to cut that thought. No, we have to come do a public lashing too. No, I'm kidding. I'm not. I don't know. Here, let me hear. She was like, "Act your weight if you're 160 pounds, focus on the treadmill instead of like focusing on like, whatever." You know what I mean? Yeah. And then she like, essentially goes on like, so the girls come for her. Like, they're posting pictures of her mom who's plus size. Oh. So I'm just like, are you telling your mom to act like her way, like your mom who you're lovingly hugging and every photo? Who is this person right now, what's your makeup like in terms of like is she like white? Okay, she's giving she lives in Florida. Okay. She's giving make America great again vibes, right? I don't you know like she wants Brensor Pratt to be but is she like a Content creator Question mark. Okay. I really have no idea. She doesn't like Okay, besides the point. I'm just wondering like what like what What like where she consumed her to I think what consumer is like again You know, it's really interesting and all the girls start being like well bitch I'm like 180 and like boom boom boom bitch You know what I mean? And then she like doubles down being like well if you're muscle mass then like I'm not talking to you I'm talking to girl girl act your fucking face If you're a face card's gonna decline everywhere and they're they're not gonna accept your face card If you're not acting your can I say that if you're gonna say act your fucking face bitch You could be skinny this skinny that what what it snooki who said it snooki? What's a Dina she said oh, I can lose 50 pounds, but it would take what 50k to fix your fucking face Mike. Oh, yeah Yes, yes, I do let's wait that up bitch Cuz it's just like I I think that's the only thing to me when it comes to just like Right after fucking what are reversing her is crazy after face girl Generally, it's like if we went into the face card competition It would get awkward. It would get awkward bitch. They would be like you come in you not you wait You wait and we'll see what we have avail well, and it's a $30 cover charge. It's giving face card giving $30 cover charge Yeah, you're sick, but we in course, so now I have to stand next to you I'm a good sick. I'm a good sick and my it doesn't participate in these things. I do So it's just like act your way act your face That is it cuz it's like they've never made me pay a cover charge, but for you baby girl I know it's hefty and I know it's hefty in the clubs. I know shit ain't cheap out there It's very very they keep your mx hot. I read his fucking to me keep your mx hot as fuck that So it's like I'm gonna act my way, which is like sexy gorgeous beautiful. Yeah, like you act your fucking face That is like an insane take like that's like stoned into the square take I see and that's what's so crazy and again watched a few for videos very much so giving like pandering to mentee Well, and see that's why I was asking what's the makeup because that is like who the fuck are you talking to? And I'm like, yeah, that's that's what it's giving like I'm just like again very quick pandering to men She's still single. Well, yeah, she's like she's lucky for this boy friend. Well, yes Girl go get a fucking boyfriend if you literally want a man who's gonna literally like Fuck you didn't like literally make him a sandwich so he put a cap on your skillet your fucking face if that's what you want Generally is that OG 1930 shit that manosphere will not see your bullshit, where you're literally POS like yeah We're you're literally an ottoman for his feet. Oh cuz y'all can like what y'all can laugh about girls together because y'all literally okay Okay, oh get it then mama bitch no one's in your way no one want it We'll see no one wanted something like she look at it. I'm like girl if you want it so bad. We don't want it We don't want it y'all got it Take it bitch and it's just like that's the craziest part, right? If you're so It's out the right. Oh, oh male gaze male gaze. Oh to the male gaze bitch. Why are you single? Oh because that face card Mm-hmm. That's what it comes back to really cuz it's like if you were male gaze male gaze and fine shit you would be Mm-hmm. Uh-oh Did I go too far did I go too far? I don't give a fuck. Well, and it was then like again like we locked in so I'm gonna stand next to you and jail Anyway, so no matter, but I will say I'm also like a little I'm not saying I'm gonna say like I'm a little hush Hush cuz I'm about to cut my hair off so I don't know how much my charges are I want to breath work I didn't so well and I just really can't participate in the face card And so I can see if I could pull off a bixie which y'all will know when I know you know what I mean So it's just like I can't say no. Yeah. Oh, I'm I'm a I've been bought before I've been balled. Oh, yeah, yeah. Oh, yeah, could she go bald? Fuck no, keep every last lock of thin fine hair that I flour gleam and glow like make your power shine Yeah, yeah, the converse bring back what once was very thin very brittle very fine hair that you have keep it every last piece It helps trust me trust me trust me is going to help you I'm gonna act my way you go and take care of that hair that face, baby Yes, that skin bitch Oh, it's very don't like oh And like I've noticed that But you go get those bronzer drops, maybe and well carry and hair and handle and handle and go get you one of them Oh still the man appears. Go get you one of those good. We'll go get one of the We don't want you don't want to get hammer so bad go get one. We don't want that though. You want that go get that That read was really filthy, but it was very good. No, I'm like so sharp. That was sharp On the way I just on the way out. I just got let's don't know like I am planning to cut my hair off and with that I just ask for You know if it comes back looking chud I'm like this. Can I say it? I'm like that hands up and I just hope y'all still fuck with me, okay? Can I say something? For something that doesn't involve me of course my did show me the inspo pics and I'm letting y'all know I do think you're really gonna fuck with it I I I hope so and I will also say stop next paragraph. I Speak of this because I think at this point the cutting of the hair is very like spiritual It's less. Yeah symbolic is what I'm looking for. It's less about like It's less about the aesthetic. Yeah, I think it just like came to me in a dream and then I felt like okay Because you know we store trauma in the hair last six months have been crazy want to cut it off Want to try something new? Honestly just very much resonating with the idea of like it being summer and going like this You know what I'm saying and like that's like what I've been holding on to and it takes like two seconds to like get your judge Right, so I'm like it's less about the like oh, I'm about to like literally serve you bitches like y'all can't like read me type Like Emma type it's more about like the feeling of the season and the mind-body spirit that kind of like releasing of something So with that, you know, I can't even front and sit here and be like yeah, y'all I like AI my face on my shit I know I'm about to like Terry all up. I'm serving like I'm just gonna like let her take the chopper out and then like whatever happens I'm just gonna like let her be what it is and like be who I am and just like live and laugh and love and like hope I can still get in the club, but we'll see we'll get in the club We're gonna see I will say ever since you know like we said this the other day But like it's like one of those vibes to where you have an idea and then you just have to do it Mm-hmm like at this point I can't even like back out because I've like fully convinced myself that this is gonna like make me like feel like a human Being or something like feel like a new era Yeah, um and every day that I like actually do my hair routine now. I'm like Like I'm literally like flower gleam and glow like I'm literally like make your power shine like my hair so long Yeah, I will say because I'm like you did get that lob that one time Well because that was the time well and guys just make sure when you're getting your hair cut They have like curly hair examples on the portfolio because they did cut my hair off one time and like I thought it was like a trim But they didn't know about shrinkage, so yeah But I will say your hair grows crazy fast. Yeah, it grows. It does grow fast. It does grow fast And you get like length actually like I feel like no matter what I do my hair stays like Totally no, I feel you I feel you I feel like for some reason my hair And I need to think about what I've changed but for some reason my hair is growing like the longest It's ever grown in the last like year like when ever since I was a kid like it would kind of like stop here and then it was just like There's a bit like a new boy, but I do you know, I also understand the commitment of like how short I'm going in the sense that like If I don't fuck with it, that's gonna be me for six at least for six months. You know, I'm saying so it's okay I'm really excited for you. Well, I think it's the closest I've ever gonna get right now currently the like shaving my head And I think I'm I'm chasing that like that high that yeah, that feeling yes, the feeling of freedom and just like new new era Exactly, and then it's like then you do the breath work that like actually like mucinex is your like body for a second So then it's like, oh, okay, this would make sense. Yeah, because now I'm feeling like realigned But appointments on Tuesday, so I'll see I don't know girl. We'll see wait face. I'm me. I will actually Face I mean and you'll know whether I'm in it or not like how it went, okay about that like at some point It's just about feeling well if you're trying to to say you say yeah, well, we could do a dinner after maybe a celebratory And we'll see if I have a bag on my head or not, right? Okay, right? Well, maybe it's an indoor. Yeah Maybe it's a dark lit right like a Bacari or what's up? Please call Bacari Bacari Anyway, neighborhood watch neighborhood watches like breath work, I guess breath work and also Yeah, breath work, I guess neighborhood watch for me paradise Mm-hmm. I need to I have one more episode left of the season finale love of season two love and I'm just like Y'all it's just the way that like people who can act right like Shaline Woodley season two Well, she's been acting since she was a child so sterling Right, that's divergent sterling capability divergent. Yeah, yeah, it was our no sir. I haven't seen divergent And same sterling K. Brown. Yeah, come get your badgie J. Thank you. Come get your badgie J. Can get your badgie J. And I can't wait for the day that he walks on the big stage like the Oscars. Oh, yeah. I'm sure he's one in Emmy. Right. She's like to have one in Emmy. I mean, he's like absolutely incredible when he but when they come get him, his badgie J. Yeah. That's when I'm all screeching.
