Show 2000! Week 7 Matchups + Wheel of Shame - Fantasy Football Podcast for 10/23
1h 9m 3s
The Fantasy Footballers Podcast marks its 2,000th episode with a mix of celebration, nostalgia, and humor. The hosts reflect on their journey, highlighting 12 years of consistent content—the longest episode lasting two hours and 45 minutes—and the sheer volume of episodes, totaling over 120,000 minutes. A key fun statistic is that the Atlanta Falcons have never been chosen as a "My Guy," underscoring a long-standing fantasy oddity. The show dives into recent NFL news, including injury updates and player matchups, such as the Cardinals, Packers, and Rams games, with detailed fantasy projections. Hosts emphasize the importance of team dynamics, injuries, and matchups—like the Lions’ pass funnel defense and the Rams’ tight end struggles. The episode features a lighthearted "What Did He Say?" segment where fans’ memorable quotes are revealed, showcasing the hosts’ personalities and camaraderie. The fantasy face-off and Wheel of Shame add playful entertainment, reinforcing the podcast’s community-driven, humorous, and deeply personal tone. The episode celebrates not just the milestone, but the enduring bond between the hosts and their audience.
Welcome to the Fantasy Footballers Podcast with your hosts Andy Holloway, Jason Moore, and Mike Wright.
Welcome in to show 2000. Look at us on the wall. This is all happening in real time. That's fun. Yeah, it's a good graphic.
2,000 episodes of the Fantasy Footballers. I look real greasy though. I gotta go back to the fedora. Oh brother, you never look better. I know.
There's something that stands out on this back wall about your fedora picture.
Do you know what it is? I'm not in a black shirt. No, no, no. A little fatter. No. Well, yeah. Yeah.
What else? Come on. What did you deal with for two years? Look at your glasses. Oh, are they fogged up?
Yeah, you're fogged up. I can't tell because I'm not. You guys can see the board I'm looking at. You can turn to your right.
Oh, they're super fogged. Jason went through about a year and a half period where the glasses combo with the fat combo.
Yeah, that was a big part of it. It combined for almost a permanent blocking.
That was the beginning of his vision. Yeah. Famously on the Adam Lefkoe show. Yes. Where Adam had to stop. Oh, we got like, okay.
Wait, they're changing pictures? Yeah, we got a slideshow back behind us.
Oh, this is not great for us, guys. YouTube.com slash the Fantasy Footballers.
There you go. Welcome into show 2,000. I mean, first reactions to hearing that number. I mean, Jason, you said that show 1,000 seemed recent.
Obviously, it's been 1,000 shows since show 1,000, but in my experience, my lived experience.
My lived experience was it was an entire career before we hit show 1,000. It was like, wow, we're to 1,000. It was this big production.
It was crazy. And then I feel like that was like a year and a half ago in my experience, which obviously couldn't have been.
But yeah, the last 1,000 have flown by. Man, here's to 50 more. 50 more episodes.
We're going to make it to 2050. 2050.
The guys have prepared a few little things.
We're going to mix in. We have the Thursday night game to talk about.
Foot Clan Friday news to talk about. Five more matchups.
The Wheel of Shame and the Fantasy Face-Off.
And I'm excited to see what they have planned.
I know the first thing we got to jump into real quick is, oh, I have a button for it.
How'd you do that?
I'm not even mad. That's amazing.
So we have we have Kyle the Borgogan, who is the statistician.
Extraordinaire. And when I say that, I mean, he likes finding weird stats.
Yeah. And tracking weird things.
It kind of is. It's his kink.
All right. So the number one shocking stat from footballers history is that we have 12 years of episodes.
One thousand or sorry, one hundred twenty four thousand five hundred eighty eight minutes of episodes, which is 86 straight days of episodes.
That's a lot of talking.
The longest episode ever was the 2019 Megalodon episode at two hours and forty five minutes long.
We have fourteen thousand one hundred minutes of foot casts.
OK, what is this?
If you add in spitballers episodes, Dynasty podcast, early days of DFS show and the Sunday live and live streams, the episode count would jump to thirty one hundred.
So two thousand of the main show, but thirty one hundred total episodes across all of those.
OK.
And that's your shocking stat.
Number one.
Why don't we rotate through these?
All right.
You want to share the second one, Mike?
Sure. This one's called Mr. Potty Mount.
OK, we we we are famously known for our profanity, our foul on air language.
That's right.
We fed about the transcript of every fantasy footballers episode.
The stat ninety five to ninety eight percent of the previous one thousand nine hundred and ninety nine episodes came back as clean.
It flagged PPG and PPR a lot as as bad words, probably especially when.
Jason lingered on the.
Yeah, yeah.
When I was talking about my PP are.
Yes.
Stop.
When you when you rebooted in the middle of saying PPR, it noted a frequent use of words.
It noted a frequent use of words like poop.
We are.
We are children.
Yeah.
Poop, dump, fart, toilet and descriptions of bathroom emergencies or, quote, taking a dump.
These are sensitive things.
But one man was flagged.
Wait, we we had one.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
Oh, yes.
Andy Holloway.
OK, so here's what the bot says.
The clearest and essentially essentially only one well-documented case of the three hosts saying something treated as a cuss word is on the actual podcast.
And it's Andy's word of effective, effective, effective.
Yeah, there you go.
All right.
Number three is mean mugging Mike.
Mike Wright famously has a resting face that says, get off my lawn.
Whatever we do, don't go to his camera.
Just stay right.
Yeah.
Oh, there we go.
I got to try and get neutral face.
Oh, neutral face is your mean.
Yeah, that is.
I mean, you just look like an angry man.
Yeah.
So here's the stat.
I mean, guys, I'm very content right now.
Since episode one thousand and eight, Mike has had his Nike sneaker mug on the table for ninety nine percent.
Of in studio episodes, it even appeared in two episodes this summer without him without you there.
So everyone has asked about your sneaker mug.
Yeah.
Well, we'll give another shot of sneaker mugs dot com.
I think he's making what he does.
It's it's just one guy and he like makes some batches every once in a while.
So you've got to be locked in.
And then the last couple of stats here, man of the people.
We've done nine hundred and seventy five in season episodes.
So that is the amount of the two thousand that were in season.
And Jason Moore has been present for over ninety eight percent of in season episodes.
Impressive.
Yeah.
Only three waivers episode absences in twelve years.
Kyle, is that is that by anybody or Jason?
That's Jason.
He's missed three waiver episodes.
He's a man of the people, man of the people.
And then the last one, I got to take a vacation immediately.
I'm out of here.
The last one is feels about right.
Over the years, we've picked two thousand three hundred and twenty eight starts of the week and one hundred and eight.
My guys, Kyle, noting that all of them were spot on and perfect.
Obviously, the team has chosen the least.
For starts of the week.
Oh, OK.
So he's looking at which team has been chosen the least.
And they never have had a my guy.
So of all the NFL teams who's had the least starts of the week, this feels zero my guys.
And that is apparently the Atlanta Falcons.
Yeah, it's it's crazy because the my guys, we've picked the my guy from every single team except for the Falcons.
Never have, never will.
You know what I mean?
Well, I mean, anytime I would have, it probably would have been some delusional Kyle Pitts moment and it wouldn't have worked out.
Right.
But B.
John B.
John's my my guy.
Yeah, you can't really go.
That's the thing.
The consolidation does not allow for you picking someone like B.
No, Demonte Freeman.
My guys, though, that could have been a good one.
All right.
Last night, Bears, 30 Patriots, 24 Bears taking care of business.
And if you think about that, 24 and you take off the most ridiculous touchdown in the history of the National Football League.
Before half, which was a unconscionable 48 yard touchdown reception by Ramond Ray Stevenson on a dump off.
Did you see halfway through that play?
There were 24 on the Bears.
Yeah, he ran the wrong way.
Ran the wrong way.
That shouldn't be seemingly impossibly like, what are you doing?
He just runs away from the player.
I know that's the speculation of like, you know.
Yeah, but I don't even know if you tried to be that dumb.
You could do it.
Yeah, no.
And then it was reminiscent of them giving up that big Hail Mary to Jaden Daniels.
If you remember that, it made for an exciting game.
I'm very happy that they got that, you know, touchdown right before the half going down.
You know, the end of that game was Bears controlling and they had the Patriots had so many opportunities to get them off the field.
And honestly, I feel like the Patriots very well could have won this game.
Throughout the game, they had so many ill-timed penalties and not.
I'm not saying refs.
I'm saying Patriots like legit penalties or it's like you freaking bonehead.
Right.
I mean, over and over in important situations.
If I was Vrabel, my head would have exploded.
But Drake May still looks great, despite the fact that his number one wide receiver, A.J.
Brown, cannot catch, cannot catch the ball.
Well, it's it's so much more than that.
Like, I wanted to have the conversation.
Like, do you think like, is A.J.
Brown going to be a dominator right now?
The gap between that?
Like, if he caught.
A deep bomb like, but Booty did that a lot.
I mean, it's like Kayshaun Booty had tons of deep passes.
I mean, I still very, very much feel like 48 on six targets and looked.
He's still he doesn't he doesn't look himself, but he's still not right.
Keep in mind, like Jordan Mason coming back this week.
Jordan Mason had a thumb injury.
He should be in shape.
He should be ready to go.
This this injury for A.J.
Brown was an ankle injury.
He's not out there running.
How many weeks do you get to say the same thing?
Oh, so genuine.
Genuinely, because this was supposed to be the week after the week.
No, no, no.
Genuinely.
No, it's not.
The data for an A for a high ankle injury is three weeks.
weeks of of negative production versus your normal baseline so at the very least there should
be one more week where he is statistically speaking under what he should do performance
wise now that being said he should still catch a ball when it hits him in the hands i feel like
that's that's nothing to do with an ankle injury the deep ball was harsh about him this week it
was a little yeah i don't know if it was a great play or some defensive pass interference on that
one deep pass yeah there's a little bit of that one was tough uh remandre stevenson was the
leading receiver five for 93 and a touchdown hey hunter henry andy yeah i mean i i uh i enjoyed
them points very much i mean it was obvious what wasn't uh as good was the mario douglas who
had only four targets in the game and was banished but i mean if you look at it it was um
it was basically hunter henry and remandre nobody else had more than three receptions on the team
but
uh target wise aj brown was at six the mario was at four raritan was at four he looks good
uh drake may like i said he scored great touchdown on the ground luther burton had four for 130 and
one in the first half and then never got another target can we just use luther burton like for a
full game no ben no benjamin i was playing what are we doing i was playing against him is it too
good and i didn't want to see i will say this this is the game we were waiting to see where the three
cogs are used like the first half it looked like roma dunzey's dead luther burton this is his team
second half luther doesn't get a target rome comes up with a bunch of big catches although he did
have an egregious drop in the end zone um and then of course the real story here is colson
loveland 12 targets seven for a very nice 69 and a touchdown had a couple drops as well he had he
had one nasty drop the other one is like in it was in the hands he should have caught it definitely
definitely drop but still and 12 targets going forward uh ian rappaport was reporting this
morning that cole comet is believed to have a serious season long uh knee injury so loveland
will be you know more alone in the in the tight end room yeah it was big and then swift dominated
everything on the ground 22 for 78 was good in the passing game as well we'll see when monongai returns
was good bears win a big one it's friday
put clan friday
yeah i feel like kyle dropped the ball here he could have figured out how much money we've given
away on friday oh for the total amount of shows but i guess that's just like shows divided by
fridays i don't know uh $100 gift card every friday to a supporter at join the foot.com
ashville clark is the winner today
one hundred dollars uh clark from ashville yes apparently yes that is the name on uh join the
foot uh jeremy wants us to to note today is one million dollars given away okay that's probably
if you round up a high enough um that would be true so don't round up to the closest million
that's right yeah that's right uh no we appreciate everybody that supports the show i mean it's worth
saying on show 2000 like without the foot clan without join the foot without i mean it's 12 years
of people we thought when you like when we started that that people would like sign up to support
this show as an independent show and it would like kind of be during the season and you get
like the perks and the extra episodes and then they'd all go bye-bye in the off season or
something and everyone hung around and that really was part of like why we could even sustain
ourselves as an entity because y'all maniacs out there yeah like everybody was freaks for fantasy
like we were we wanted the off season stuff and it was like it was like it was like it was like it was
it was surprising like shocking to us that it was more about community more about building the
relationship than it was just hey we give you some special rankings and you give us money the
off season foot cast which if you're unfamiliar we we do an episode every week for the foot clan
uh on thursdays that is just your questions from from the foot clan it could be anything
and in the off season those questions are anything and those are so fun those are my
favorite shows to record let's talk some news
news and notes
from around the league
well this was unfortunate cole commit we talked about it carted off with the right knee injury
ben johnson saying it doesn't look very good test today post this morning from beat writers
it looks season ending for cole commit and he is a valuable player in that office he's a great
uh well-rounded tight end it's like michael mayer for the raiders it's like exactly just
because loveland's the superstar pass catcher yep may or uh cole commit's a huge part of this team
yeah you could definitely argue he's a better all-around tight end i mean you could make that
argument i think you could say that if you want not for fantasy for the nfl uh rico dowdo listed
as questionable for the sunday morning game in france france okay i mean that would be huge for
jaylen wattle and the jaylen warren in those games without rico he was dominating lamar jackson
limited again the line is now back to baltimore minus one and a half so they think he'll play
wait is this a new video do i need to break down this mike will you break down this video
okay uh lamar while we're talking he's walked down the jason do you have something uh yeah i'll
just continue lamar has walked down and the breeze lightly jogging it's a really short video
okay what are you saying breeze hall questionable with the quad injury ad mitchell will play oh
that's a that's a perfect for omar yeah for the omar cooper we'll see waivers the latest i saw
on breeze hall was it's gonna go to sunday like it'll be a game time decision i don't he probably
plays i don't know he's gonna be a game time decision i don't know he probably plays i don't
but even if he does it's gonna be a time share with braylon but it is a good matchup yes jordan
mason a full participant again on thursday he's gonna play and he's gonna play well paul charchian
good friend of the show and uh and fantasy football and fantasy football in a minnesota
uh plugged in native uh says he expects jordan mason to get a heavy workload well there was a
report just circulating this morning i mean we knew aaron jones was a bit banged up but they
so for jordan mason to come back right now i they're probably going to try and make sure
aaron jones gets healed up because he is i wouldn't heal him up he's been playing really
well with the spring mcl like it's like the device yeah keep that mcl a little just a little banged
up tyler warren did not participate again on thursday seems like tyler warren may miss another
game baker mayfield was a full participant he's wearing a custom glove on the right hand
and should be back and emeka abuka is
is uh practicing on friday yeah okay it sounded like he was like he's gonna be back yeah it
sounded like he was practicing nearly in full so he's progressing through the protocol at this point
you expect him to pass the protocol yes not the ball correct mike evans did not practice again
on thursday with the hamstring he'll be a game time decision it's called hamstring now yeah wait
what that's what it says achilles hamstring it's definitely ribs yeah leg it should just they should
just say mike evans in parentheses mike evans mike
yeah he's dealing with his entirety brian robinson falcons running back downgraded to a dmp
so he's heal up brian he's dealing with yeah heal up that's what i'm hearing from you not a
bijon situation what no i care about brian robinson quinshawn judkins and dylan samson
both limited again we expect them back here's some news we got yesterday puka nakua added to
the injury report with a calf injury it's being reported as minor but
his situation this week is tbd they have lost adams um i mean it makes higby a really good
start no matter what the mumps they lost canada mumfield yeah yeah it's ferguson i don't know i
look i i will tell you something i did yesterday we've been talking so much about bo nicks right
right um and how i chose geno smith over him i had a trade i did a trade yesterday in our league of
record and which did you know this the harold fannin yeah the harold yeah i missed that so i
did a trade and you gotta lock in
in that trade i had the i had the ability to get matthew stafford for geno smith
oh to play this week it's all the week i needed i got just now i chose not to do it again i went
with geno smith now i am not excited about how fast that game is going to fly by but
matthew stafford without adams without puka i i wasn't feeling it i understand so we'll see i
mean this is a what's crazy about this situation is they get to go and play
the raiders the raiders are a solid team i think we can agree with that we might not agree that
they're good you know or like a playoff team yeah but they're not a basement dweller like they were
last year no and so this is going to be a battle and you've got major pass catching problems
mike washington jr oh great what's downgraded to a dmp on thursday as soon as you ever believe
that you can like maybe look at mike washington look his direction then something happens and
it's it's such a wild roller coaster with him don't look at me i'm hideous wow so what
just man i missed that one oh that's that's tough i'm gonna need to uh
i've got a team a rebuilding dynasty team and my two running backs
oh no and i when i say two i mean on the roster i mean i guess is john coleman playing this week
uh he's activated i believe oh buddy i think he might be active this week
oh buddy my two are damian pierce and mike washington oh gross uh zach charbonnet activated
off the pup could make his debut rashi rice did not practice again it seems
like that hamstring is going to take them a while to get back yeah yeah any other news um i don't
know okay don't think so all right we'll take a break we'll come right back the
deucers have a little segment before we get into the forecast
welcome back to show 2000 of the fantasy footballers before we jump into the remaining
five matchups on today's show and the fantasy face-off um the deucers have something prepared
what did he say
all right al what's going on what did he say we are going to play a little game called what did
he say uh i am going to read a quote that was said by one of you in the last 2000 episodes
and you guys are going to try and guess who said it
we will then play a little game called what did he say
play the clip and reveal the correct answer this is so good this is fun this is great
the first one is a little practice round a little gimme okay the quote is am i going to be able to
withstand victories for the next few weeks yeah yeah yeah that's a famous me quote that's a jason
moore classic that became a t-shirt am i going to be able to withstand victories for the next
few weeks do you have let's go to the tape okay and then the other thing is am i going to be able
to withstand victories for the next few weeks
pretty rock solid did you say withstand victories well i can always withstand a victory i mean
withstand the schedule and get victories like you know if i can stand the part where you just
i cannot take another victory no more i think even the way you you clarified it is completely
grammatically wrong i think what you mean is could you achieve two victories without the guy
could i withstand the match-ups with two injured guys going down to achieve victory
congratulations yeah very nice jason all right that's legendary all right so you guys all got
that one right that was the gimme that's the gimme okay all right you don't think we're gonna get
these other ones you might i don't know we'll see i think we were here for we've got incredible
memories you said them uh quote two i was just absolutely liquid in my pants heading into the
weekend oh that's a quote from a person that can't be me i feel like that's mike that's gotta be my
it's definitely it's definitely one of you two you guys gotta lock your answers in individually
oh okay we gotta lock them in can you read the quote one more time please i was just absolutely
liquid in my pants i'm going into this weekend i'm going mike i don't feel like liquid is i mean
jason said a lot of things about his pants and going with the the the absolutely and as the
conjunction word or whatever what are you doing i put myself yeah i think it's all mike let's go
to the tape yeah all of our waiver wires just went through moment like as the show was going
you got him for a dollar i have mitch trubisky i was just absolutely liquid in my pants
heading into this weekend like because this is a you you know how i feel you gotta win this week
there is huge implications what am i talking about wow wow i got scared for a second when i started
the clip yeah oh my gosh so wait all right we all got we're all perfect everybody got it right
all right next quote
we'll be spreading our legs we'll be comfortable we'll be spreading our legs we'll be comfortable
don't put that one in the bot all right i got my answer yeah i've got i've got my answer locked
my answer is locked mike um oh man that might be mike again no i'm going jason i'm going andy or
jason on this what are you doing you gotta go with one of them i wrote andy i'm going andy oh crap
or those of you on youtube you will see a new studio on tuesday there you go and we'll be you
know yeah we'll be spreading our legs we'll be comfortable mike won't be putting his feet up on
the desk yeah did i say spreading our legs oh no yeah you made wings that's right wow we already
have an early winner for jason i might have said stretching just took a very sharp turn oh man for
the worst oh i'm now losing the game too all right mike and i in the lead i didn't want to acknowledge
the possibility
spreading our legs we'll be comfortable okay how many how many more of these so i know if i can come
back uh there's a total of six and then we have tie breakers if necessary okay uh all right we're
moving on to quote four oh gosh he was busty in the wrong spots he was busty in the wrong spots
oh this one's tough i can see all three of them yeah i could see all three of us he was that one
he was busty in the wrong spot i'm gonna man i i do not know what to say about that i'm gonna say
do not know i
at this point i've got mine all right let's lock it i'm going andy i'm going me i'm going
we all win ourselves i want that quote one of you guys is correct okay oh my goodness here we go i
was down to me or jason his splits are basically don't exist it was you could play him in any
particular matchup but he was busty in the wrong spots oh mike did it what does that mean
do not know what you mean busty in the wrong spots okay okay all right mike in the lead
yes because he claimed that great quote oh man he was i here what does that
a credit to the team i don't remember almost any of these so that's awesome that's funny
that's a lot of episodes and i did not remember these quotes well based on the set that we are
seeing
yeah it's been a minute since we said these yeah yeah all right going into round five we got mike
with four jason with three andy with two hit that drop mike what did he say uh quote five
i would love it if just one of these guys was shot in the leg oh my gosh crap
i would love it if just one of these guys was shot in the leg oh my goodness we do not support
but one of us did on this day i and i yeah i'm gonna be shocked if this one's me i got my answer
i do too i okay all right i think it's jason yeah i think it's because they showed a picture of me
when the quote came up oh did they yes i put the wrong slide who said this was it the guy on the
slide yeah okay well i didn't even see that so i still got her i'm i'm claiming i'm guessing i'm
right let's go to the clip
i would love it if one of these guys was just shot in the leg
oh come on explain yourself it's what please explain yourself
abort come on why aren't you talking i'm not saying i'm just saying no
i apologize do you imagine there's a father driving around with his son right now i don't
want them killed like mr what is happening you're digging deeper this hole there he goes
this is ridiculous you can't say like i apologize to the families of these two
wonderful men both of whom i like i don't want them to be shot in the leg
okay nice finish nice finish jay a quick apology oh my gosh i thought for sure that was gonna be
like you know just someone someone was shot you know like ricky pierce hadn't happened you know
who those two players were no christine michael and thomas rolls oh really okay yeah wow
all right all right quote six i'm getting milked that's my takeaway i know that one
oh man okay uh six for six baby yeah wow yeah i'm going mike what's mike's say that's jason
it's a podcast i'm going jason as well okay you can have a milk bet you had a milk bet with
damon our manager okay let's hear it here's my go ahead jay i'm getting milked that's that's my
takeaway i don't know context can we just get that quote brooke separately so here's the thing
our nipples greg yeah not like that but we do water bets and our manager damon we changed our
water our water bet into a milk bet disgusting disgusting awful did you ever get milked i never
got milk i don't think either of you ever got milk mike congratulations i am the champion
on winning uh let's i am the champion of what did he say what did he say let's
jump into the forecast
fantasy forecast presented by prize pigs
i feel like we could have played that game for hours with the things set on this show
yeah brooks says there's three bonus clips maybe we just throw them at the end
yeah there you go um yesterday we covered the steelers saints the paris game 49ers falcons
browns titans colts vikings dolphins jets buccaneers panthers bangles ravens giants and
five matchups today starting with our arizona cardinals denver broncos four and two going
to arizona to take on the cardinals darn it i was really hoping this game was in los angeles
because the cardinal we would win the cardinals play great in la so uh vegas line here denver
minus four and a half the over under is 43 and a half no don't you do it
andy's almost upset of the week
i realize that i could be wrong here however money where my mouth is bone x is not getting
getting started by me. I had three leagues I could have played. I'm playing Geno Smith.
I don't think the problems. Look, every week when the week ends, the Broncos have to go to
the podium, and they have to make an excuse, and it's the play caller or the head coach's mistake
or Bo Nix or this, that, and the other thing. I don't think it's all getting fixed overnight just
by playing Arizona on the road. I don't think everything Arizona did on defense last week was
attributable to knowing Sean McVay. A lot of people know Sean McVay. A lot of people have
never stopped Sean McVay. I think it was an effort thing. I think the Cardinals. I think
it was a Walter Nolan thing. I think it was stepping up on the defensive side schematically.
This is a low over-under. It's 43 and a half.
I was trying to remember. I thought Nolan got banged up, but the latest. No, Nolan dominated last week.
Yeah, no. I thought he had left. You just meant at the end of the game?
Yeah.
I think that the Cardinals will keep this close.
It's four and a half. Denver, they're favored. They should win the game.
I think the Broncos will keep this close.
Well, that is kind of. By not getting out to a big league.
I mean, that being said. Now, I don't think the Cardinals' offense is going to do a lot against Denver's defense.
No, I don't think so either. I mean, you just saw Denver. You talk about they have to go to
the podium and make excuses. When they went to the podium last, they just beat the Super Bowl
champion Seattle Seahawks.
Yeah, they are four and two.
Yeah, they're going to the podium as winners, but they're still having to answer for the offense
because the offense has looked abysmal. And the question is. And to your answer is that you think the Cardinals are getting it together.
I still believe that the Cardinals' defense is one of the worst in the league, despite
the fact that last week when we played against LeFleur's former team, we did shut down a great
offense.
Well, this is not supposed to be just about the prediction. It's supposed to be about the fantasy
options. Jeremiah Love did not practice on Thursday. It feels like this is going to be
Mr. Tyler Algier and Bam Knight.
On Twitter, people are like, man, you have Algier ranked ahead of Bam Knight?
What? And I'm in a desperate situation. I got to play one of these guys. And the hard
part is, look, Algier is the starter. He will get the first shot. The situation was Bam
Knight was better last week, so he kept getting more and more opportunities. Is something
wrong with Tyler Algier? Maybe, but it's like predicting and projecting Bam Knight to. Do anything?
To take over the backfield over the guy who got the money.
That's a tough call.
Algier has looked bad on every carry of the entire season to me.
That being said, Bam Knight was not great. He had a 31-yard run. Outside of that, he was three and a
half yards a carry. So he had a really nice, important run, but. But he got 15 carries is, I think, the headline to me.
Right.
You gave him 15 opportunities when Love was gone. It wasn't Algier.
Algier had 20, 18 carries, 20 opportunities.
So his line, his price pick's projection is 41 and a half rushing.
I would take the less on that, if it were me.
Yeah, that's fine.
Because of the defense.
I do think it'll be a split. I agree. If I had to start one, I would put Algier in first,
even though he's played worse, because I do think he'll have more opportunities in this game.
Do you want to play. Like, the last two weeks have been terrible for Michael Wilson. People
out there have questions about Michael Wilson. Now you have a horrible matchup. Like, Trey McBride's
your auto-start of this game, but beyond that, for the Arizona Cardinals, like, Bursette is not
a streaming option this week.
No.
I don't think Michael Wilson is a streaming option.
The running back is a streaming option.
The running backs are not a good option.
I don't think Michael Wilson is a must play. He's fine if you're, you know, when you're
comparing him to the waiver wire pickups, I wouldn't be starting those guys over Michael
Wilson. But if you've got, you know, in this matchup, for instance, obviously through the
season, you've been playing Michael Wilson ahead of Jalen Waddell. I would play Jalen
Waddell ahead of Michael Wilson. That's one of my examples. He's my start of the week
this week. I think he's going to be a top 24 player against the Cardinals defense. But
that's an example of someone who's going to be a top 24 player against the Cardinals.
That's an example of someone that legitimately might be on your roster that you're deciding
between and the way I lean.
You would want to say that the Broncos get on the right track in this game. That should
be the game that they take advantage of it. Now, we've had part of my, you know, fear
is like we've had these games in the last couple of years where it's like, man, they
should dominate the league's worst defense and the Raiders last year and they win. You
know, is this game going to be 15-12?
It could be.
I mean, it might be like the Cardinals won last week against.
The Rams with six field goals. They didn't score a touchdown. I mean, there's just not
a lot. I don't have the enthusiasm now on that. You like Waddle. I would be still. I'm
still afraid to play Waddle. I guess if you you can make the argument that if you're ever
going to play him, you better play him now in this game.
Yeah, I mean that that is that is basically the argument is the the matchup here for the
Cardinals. They're 26 and fantasy points given up to wide receivers. They also are the type
of team that has given up big plays to wide receivers, which is what Jalen Waddle needs.
He needs to connect.
Is he the biggest busted wide receiver position in the top handful of rounds?
I mean, to me, I mean, AJ Brown, it's not fair because it was an injury, but he's probably
a bigger hurt you so far.
I mean, he's had, although maybe he hasn't hurt you as much as Waddle because Waddle,
you started more.
Waddle's the wide receiver 41 in five of his six games as long as reception is 13. He had
a 49 yard catch in week two and then it's been 9, 13, 10 and 8. I don't like the utilization
path.
It's not just that it's and Bo Nix.
It's Bo Nix.
Like the, I don't know how we go from Bo Nix in his first couple of years where not
that he was a superstar, you know, like giving us like Madden like passing stats, but it
was the offense was functional. Things happen. You know, like Cortland Sutton was very usable
for, for stretches of time. It's, it's hard for me to look at what's going on with Waddle
and be like, that's Jalen Waddle's fault. I'm to me, it's more of a, this is a Bo Nix's
fault.
Yeah. And whether or not he will figure out that he's allowed to throw it down the field.
I don't know.
TBD, but last week, you know, 29% of the targets went to Waddle. If the offense finds its way
to be easier this week against the Cardinals, the targets should go to Waddle and the fantasy
value should be there.
Coleman should be back. Dobbins, is he in your lineup?
Yeah, I think, I think Dobbins should be there since, since Sean Payton took over play calling
duty. You have 18 carries and 17 carries, uh, in back-to-back wins, you know, play calling
duty. Yeah. I agree. But at the, at the end of the game, they are, they're winning and
they have done that by running the clock and running Dobbins. And then the matchup against
the Cardinals should be, what if Coleman's a surprise active?
I don't think he'll be active. I don't think that makes me, I don't think that makes a huge impact in his first
week back. It might impact Harvey more than Dobbins.
Okay. So we haven't left the matchup, Andy. I will share this with you. Should you want to
revert? Because we haven't left the matchup.
I'm aware that Walter Nolan has not practiced twice this week.
Uh, there's also. Is he ruled out already?
No, no, no. But there's another player who has not practiced all week.
If his name's Buda Baker, then I will, find me a way to hit that button in reverse.
His name is Buda Baker.
Oh, how are you feeling about, let me ask you, how are you feeling about Jalen Waddle now?
Well, I don't feel good about Waddle because I feel like Jalen Waddle should have probably
scored points in the previous six games.
Sure. I'm just saying if Buda Baker and Nolan are out.
I'm sticking with it. They're at home. All right. The Green Bay
Packers are four and two taking on the Lions. Oh baby, I want this game.
Yes.
Spread your legs and get comfortable. Wide stance.
Vegas line, Detroit minus three over under 53.5.
I appreciate the try.
I mean, this is awesome. This game is amazing. I want every piece of this game.
You want to start the quarterbacks?
Yeah.
Please do. They're starts of the week.
Goff and Love are both startable.
Those projections. Price picks projections for passing yardage.
Goff, 278 and a half.
Yeah.
Hold on. Jordan Love, 277 and a half. Delicious.
Packers linebacker. This is from Ari Mirov.
Well, linebacker Zyre Franklin, who's been great this season so far,
took a knee to the shin during practice and is out for Sunday's game against the Lions.
That's quite a knee.
Yeah. Weak shins? I don't know. I don't want to speculate about a man's shins.
How do you strengthen your shin?
I mean, you've got to kick the tree over and over.
Yeah. And then you take the bamboo and you'll rip it up.
My point here is that awesome. Because whenever I see great defensive players go down in a game
with a high over-under, I am ecstatic.
For our fantasy football purposes.
This game should be awesome.
There can't be weather problems in a dome.
Play Goff.
Yeah.
Play Gibbs.
Yeah.
Play Amon Ra.
Yeah.
Play Jameson Williams.
Yeah, I would.
Play Sam Laporta.
Yeah.
Oh, man. Sam Laporta's spicy these days.
Oh, yeah. He's getting after the Lions.
I listened to the whole thing.
It's not the soundbite. I mean, I'm not saying it's not like a very strong statement him talking about.
This contract situation.
But it's a little bit softer if you hear the whole conversation.
Like, it's not as adversarial.
I don't think he is adversarial, but I love the fact that he is completely holding.
It's a matter of fact.
It's completely holding his ground and not just giving the politically correct answer of like,
you know, well, I'll let my agent figure that out.
He's like, I broke my back for this team.
Literally, I'm out there dominating.
I need my money.
If I don't get it, I'll go somewhere else.
And that's it.
But it wasn't adversarial.
I agree.
It was like.
That's just the lay of the land.
Play Love, play Watson, play Gold, and play Kraft.
Kraft is Mike's start of the week.
The real question in this entire game is Fat Thor.
And I do mean Fat Thor.
Because I saw a video of Josh Jacobs on the field yesterday.
Josh Jacobs, as a reminder, was the original Fat Thor.
Correct.
Well, yeah.
And then, whereas Eddie Lacy on that team was the original Fat.
Well, okay.
But, I mean, as our nickname, it was.
So, we talked about it.
Jacobs has come back from hiatuses before.
Yeah.
And looked.
I mean, this was a joke because he looked overweight.
He looked overweight in this video.
Now, the other players on this team are not good.
But does Jacobs come back in this game and instantaneously give you a top 15 performance?
The Lions are stopping running backs against, for fantasy purposes,
they are the sixth worst matchup in adjusted points.
Yeah, the Lions, they are easy to throw on.
Because you can pass on.
Yeah.
And difficult to run on.
They're a pass funnel defense.
I don't expect Josh Jacobs to come out here and dominate.
I do expect him to get the vast majority of opportunities and the goal line opportunities.
I think he'll have at least 60% of the opportunity.
I've got a question.
And if they get around the goal line, they will absolutely go to Jacobs.
Here's the question I have for you.
Coming into this matchup, you like the over-under, but he's back from a long hiatus.
Is Rushin receiving yards?
Line is set at 63.5.
Woody Marks against the Giants.
Woody Marks is long.
I know his prize projection line because he was in consideration for me.
It's 61 rushing yards.
Who would you play of those two players?
Because I think it is a real.
Like, I think if I had them both, I couldn't help myself from putting Jacobs in there.
I'd play Woody.
I would go Jacobs.
Even though they're like 10.5 point favorites, the Texans are.
I still think that rushing touchdowns.
A higher odds.
Jordan was the one who stole the touchdown last week for the Texans.
Yeah.
So Jacobs, I'm a little bit more confident.
I want, I want a running back on a team that's projected for more than 25 points.
You know, that's just the, that's how I prefer it.
All right.
It should be a fun one.
We'll take another break and finish out these matchups.
Get into the fantasy face off.
We've already talked about it a little bit.
The Rams at two and four take on the three and three Raiders in Las Vegas.
The line here, Rams minus three and a half still over under is 48 and a half.
Whoa.
But the game opened up as Rams minus eight and a half before these injuries.
So it is closing quickly.
The Rams desperate is a good word for going to two and five would be very difficult to
overcome when your division mate is six and oh, right now, Seattle's going to be competing.
And they're, they have a better record.
Um, only 19% of teams that open two and four have made the playoffs at all.
So you go to two and five, you're in trouble.
Now they still have the fifth highest odds to win the Superbowl, but you kind of look
at like nobody from the East is going to be like right now, you'd be like, they're better
than every team in the East.
They're better than every team in the South.
Yeah.
So the, both of those divisions, you're better than everybody.
You're not better than every team probably in the, in the North right now.
Correct.
But yeah, I mean your odds of,
of getting out of the NFC are fairly high when there's not that many dominators.
Stafford, what do you think about the decision on Stafford this week?
You lose Devante Adams.
It was a really big struggle against the Cardinals left last week for Stafford.
Um, I don't think I'm not jumping ship on Stafford because he's a, he's a very good
quarterback, but if you're a pocket passer and you've like, if, if Puka's not out there,
Oh man, goodness.
I've.
There's just, I don't, I don't need to take on that risk.
He's Stafford.
So yeah, it could happen, but I'm just, I would not want to mess around with Stafford.
Should Puka be out?
Sure.
But even if Puka is active in the game going in, that's a risk that he re-aggravates at
mid game.
And then you start Stafford because, oh, Puka's in.
And then all of a sudden halfway through the game, you don't have Puka.
You don't have Devante Adams and Tyler Higbee becomes your number one target, which is not
good enough.
He might be my start of the week.
And I don't know.
I would start Tyler Higbee.
I think it's a perfect matchup for him.
Good.
You know, the, the Raiders aren't great against tight ends.
Well, really the Raiders aren't great defensively against any position for fantasy, but it's
a good matchup.
Higbee's good.
But if Higbee is your primary target, no, you can't start the quarterback.
Kyron Williams was ticked off last week about not getting more work.
Blake Corham scored.
I think that's really what he was mad about.
Because Kyron, Kyron Williams is a good quarterback.
Kyron was out there a ton last week.
He dominated the snaps.
I mean, really.
72% of the snaps for the Rams.
Yeah.
The quote, if you didn't hear it, was like, what happened last week?
You know, why couldn't you get it going?
Probably because I wasn't out there.
53% of the running back attempts.
So that number was low for Kyron.
Now, if Harbaugh was here, he would, he would clearly cut Kyron.
You know, he'd be like, you want, you want more work?
You're out, you're on the street.
Um, what decisions do you have there?
I mean, Higby's a great start.
Jason, you have him as your start of the week.
Yeah.
I mean, I, I think the question is Corham.
Like, you know, it's Higby or certain guys like pits.
Who's had a couple of good weeks in a row.
I lean Higby.
I think Higby's floor is very high.
Um, you can still definitely end up with a Colby Parkinson touchdown last year.
I don't, I don't remember.
I feel like he had five, six touchdowns last year.
Colby Parkinson did.
When they get around the red zone, it's like the other teams forget he exists.
Um,
you know, Parker Parkinson scored last week.
Yeah.
Do you, do you have the numbers of what he scored last year for Parkinson?
Yeah.
Um, yeah, he had, let's see here.
Eight touchdowns.
So, I mean, it's, he is really a goal line threat.
Uh, ironically, maybe someone you could put in, you know, a DFS lineup or, or, or something.
But, uh, Blake Corham is really the only question.
Like how willing are you to start a guy who has been pretty good for fantasy, but doesn't get enough.
Touches to like, I would start him just because I think that the recipe for this game is one of the reasons I didn't want to start Stafford with the Puka news is I think the recipe is going to be running the crap out of the ball.
Higby or Dallas Goddard against Dallas on Monday night with a backup quarterback.
I would play a Higby.
I would definitely play Higby there.
Okay.
Travis Kelsey against Seattle.
Higby.
Higby.
Okay.
That felt like there was going to be a third.
I did too.
I don't need to go anymore.
Yeah.
Uh, Jenty.
I mean, I would play, uh, I would play Higby, but on the other side, I would play Bowers over this game.
Yeah, for sure.
Bowers is your lock.
Jenty's a lock as well, especially with the Mike Washington news.
Although it could be tough for Jenty, but Trey Tucker here, here's something to know about Trey Tucker.
And you felt it.
If you've ever played him before, Trey Tucker had a big week last week.
He has never had back-to-back 10 point weeks.
So when he hits, he hits the big game and then he disappears.
Um, it just seems to be the way things go.
Now, maybe he can do it finally, but would you play Trey Tucker after the big week or Keenan Allen?
Keenan Allen.
Oh, that's tough.
Or Michael Wilson.
Oh, that's tough to match up.
I would play both those guys over, over.
Yeah.
I want the, the known volume.
That's how we're searching for one big play against the Rams.
Sunday night football is the chiefs against the Seahawks.
Chiefs are five and Oh, Seahawks three and three games in Seattle.
Here we go.
Seattle minus three.
The over under is, is this you rooting for Seattle to be sub 500 and a half?
No, this is, Oh, this is the revenge.
This is Ken bone.
The Ken bone meetings.
We don't talk about Seattle and what they did to our boy.
Oh man.
How they mistreated him.
Mike is, uh, over under 40 carries.
Well, it's, it's ironic.
Cause it's like the, the receiving core is so depleted for the chiefs.
Like you will have a massive amount of work.
You're going to Ken bone Walker.
Will he get it done against this defense?
Yep.
Yeah.
Yeah.
He probably will.
He will.
Well, and that is not a slight against the defense.
Obviously Seahawks have a, uh, championship worthy defense.
One of the best defenses in the league.
Ken bone Walker is going to tear them apart.
And you think when they're inside the goal line, Andy Reed is the coach.
Especially like if we're in the five and they're like, Hey, should we drop this trick pass play
or let this guy or let Kenneth Walker score against his old team?
Andy Reed strikes.
He is the one who's like the problem.
We're going to get you a touchdown.
The problem, Mike is where they're going to give it to him right up the middle.
Yeah, no, we, we need to work on that.
Stop doing that.
He has forced 38 missed tackles.
What a stud slightly ahead of Gibbs and offensive player of the year odds right now.
Uh, what, what other options do you have for Kansas city this week?
It's a tough matchup on the road.
Xavier worthy is the only one simply because he had seven targets with seven for 73 last
week.
You've got the injuries, right?
Now to rushy rice and Thornton being out, man.
I don't know if you can start.
I wouldn't start them against the Seahawks.
The Seahawks defense, especially against wide receivers is as elite as any team out there.
I think it's, I think it's genuinely like, I don't think I'd start Patrick Mahomes, even
though he's my homes.
This is Kenneth Walker.
And that's it.
Last week, four for 53 for Kelsey.
I think Kelsey could is fine this week.
Uh, you talked about Higby versus Kelsey.
I'd play Kelsey over Hawkinson.
I'd play Kelsey over pits, Patrick Mahomes or Aaron Rogers.
I do have Aaron Rodgers
Aaron Rodgers in fact
Just because of the stats, though.
Yeah, just because of the stats.
Aaron Rodgers is my quarterback 10, so he's a low-end starter this week.
I think a real better question is Aaron Rodgers or Matthew Stafford.
Those were the two where I kept swapping which one I would actually start.
Rodgers.
You'd go Rodgers?
If I had them, yeah.
Mike?
Rodgers.
Rodgers or Stafford?
Rodgers.
What is the running game going to be for the Seattle Seahawks in this one?
It is one of the worst matchups.
And you're going to have Charbonnet back?
I think you're going to have Emmanuel Wilson lead the opportunities here
as they bring Charbonnet back slowly.
He's not at full strength.
Helani will be involved.
So you'll have a three-way timeshare,
but Emmanuel Wilson will not get as many carries as he's been having
with Charbonnet back on the field.
So now if you take a lot of opportunities away from Wilson,
you put him up against a top-five defense against the running game.
That's not someone I want to start for fantasy.
Yeah.
He was.
He was really bad last week, and then he's kind of been touched down or bust.
And you don't even know when you get down there who gets the goal line carry anymore
because it's Ben Wilson, but now Charbonnet, that was his role.
And Salami got one last week.
Yeah.
And I do mean Salami.
I would not.
I feel like I said it in such a way that it was like people just thought
I thought his name was Salami, like a Junkin situation.
It's George Salami.
It's fun.
Anybody you play on this team other than Jason?
No, it's funny because this is a great game.
It's an important game.
Salami has joined the board.
It's a great, important game from two Super Bowl contending teams.
And in that type of an environment, you have one player from each team that you start.
It's Kenneth Walker and JSN, and that's it.
I like Kelsey.
I mean, you can start Kelsey in this game.
I don't really like him.
I mean, the Seahawks have been great against tight ends.
Yeah.
Travis Kelsey.
Somebody has to move.
Or Goddard.
Yeah, I like Kelsey in this game, just for what it's worth.
I think you're going to get. I guarantee five catches from Kelsey.
So what does it turn into?
Kelsey is just the decision against the other lower-level guys like Goddard.
I just don't want Tanner.
I go Mahomes and Tanner McKee.
Okay.
But like Harold Fannin, who's been disappointing, but he's playing against Tennessee.
I'd play Kelsey.
I mean, Fannin's been really low.
The receiving totals for Fannin are troublesome.
That coaching staff has somehow forgotten.
Yeah, I think it's just a tendency thing with like. Because we've got new guys in.
If Chigurh was the quarterback.
Yeah, you've got Boston and. Well, new coaching and stuff.
But I don't know how they look at what Fannin did last year.
And they're like, nah, we don't want to do that.
Okay.
Dallas, two and four.
Philly, two and four.
Why not tie this one?
Dallas, minus four and a half.
Over under 44 and a half.
That's not super high.
Implied point total, though, for Dallas, 24.
Philly is 20.
Tanner McKee.
Giants leading the division, 3-2-1.
I have a dream.
It will not come true.
Okay.
And you know I love Jalen Hurts.
I've loved him as a fantasy asset.
I've loved him as a person, as a man, as a quarterback.
But just because sometimes I love to watch the world burn.
I dream of the Eagles offense figuring out how to run an offense.
Like, all of a sudden, Sean Mannion and the system looks like it can get it together.
Now, last week, Sean Mannion. I hear what you mean when you're like, it's not going to happen.
Right.
Yeah.
Because if Tanner McKee wasn't that good last week, but that was his first start.
And, of course, this week he gets the Dallas Cowboys.
So, that defense is one where you can look okay.
I'm just hoping for some drama.
It is not every day where Dallas is four and a half point road favorites.
Tells you the Eagles situation.
I mean, you look up and down their board.
Like, you talked about Dallas Goddard.
He didn't practice Thursday.
He's got a knee problem.
Dontavion Wicks, ankle problem.
Devontae Smith did not practice.
Hamstring problem.
Saquon Barkley, limited hamstring problem.
I think you're going to have all of these banged up guys basically not practicing much.
Like, Devontae Smith. It's Monday, so Thursday's their Wednesday.
Devontae Smith didn't practice much last week.
Got in the game.
Had 14 targets.
I expect all of those guys to play.
And, more importantly, I expect Saquon to play, which is going to help the offense.
It's a good matchup.
Are you throwing. I mean, I'm throwing Saquon.
If he's active, pretty much right.
Woody Marks or Saquon Barkley?
Oh, Saquon.
Barkley.
I mean, the matchup against the Cowboys.
The only. The way that the Eagles win this game. The Eagles have a great defense, right?
Their defensive line is going to get after Dak.
The offensive line struggles of the Cowboys has been clear the last few weeks.
And so, it's going to be defense and run the ball.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It'll be a volume play.
I'd like to. I don't know what Saquon is the rest of the season.
But, Devontae Smith, if he's active, you'll play him.
We've talked about Goddard.
The target share should be there, especially with Wicks banged up.
Mekhi Lemon, they hate.
He's averaging 3.5 fancy points per game.
It's. Dude!
The Rams and the Eagles should make a trade.
Oh, I. Is it the. Simpson for Mekhi Lemon.
Yes.
They should. Just do it.
Just do it right.
What should have happened the first time.
If Philly needs a new quarterback, the Rams need a wide receiver, let's make this happen.
Just edit, undo the last question.
In the next couple months, and make it right.
I love that trade.
It makes so much sense.
I don't. The Rams are not giving up Ty Simpson.
Dak, Seedy, George.
Yes.
Devontae.
We say it every week.
There's not a lot. I mean. I'll play them all.
The nice thing is both offenses are top 10 in pace and neutral pass rate.
We get a lot of action in these games.
It's just. My biggest worry is this game gets out of hand with a defensive play by Dallas or the
running game.
Oh, my gosh.
A pick six in this game would be the worst.
And then you end up with just a lot of Devontae, which I think is, you know, it's not an easy
matchup, but that might be enough.
Flannoy, the Eagles are allowing the highest target percentage to slot wide receivers.
I mean, Lamb moves in the slot, but Flannoy has been making plays.
So, if you're. Oh, man.
If you're desperate. Wait.
Oh?
Breaking news.
Maneke Buka is out.
Is out?
Out.
Okay.
For week seven.
For week seven.
I am getting that news correct.
Right?
Is everybody. Kyle?
Yeah.
I haven't seen it yet.
Yeah.
He has been ruled out.
Okay.
Did not pass the concussions.
Bucky Irving is fine.
Baker Mayfield is fine.
And Ted Fred Durst is fine.
Yeah.
All right.
It's face-off time.
Fantasy Face-Off, presented by PrizePix.
It's me.
It's me.
It's me.
It's me.
Well, I went down in overtime.
Yeah.
It was overtime again.
You and I tied.
We had to do a little overtime tiebreaker, and it was close, and you're the shame.
Wheel of Shame.
All righty.
Spin that wheel.
I saw a bookworm.
Something about pasta.
Sir Quack.
Tickled.
The Mona Jason.
The Mona Jason.
It's just like a Mona Lisa.
Oh, goodness gracious.
I was warned about being able to get into this thing today.
That's actually. This is a crafty one.
This is pretty good.
I will tell you what.
It's getting harder and harder.
I don't know.
There's nowhere for your arms to go.
There's no arms.
There's no arm holes?
No.
Wait, really?
Let me pull up my lineup first so I can. Wait, there's no arm holes?
No, there's little hand holes.
Hand holes?
Because in the painting, her hands are like. Oh, my goodness.
Yeah.
That makes sense.
That makes sense.
All right.
Give me one.
So he has to get in a potato sack right now, basically?
Yeah, essentially.
All right.
I've got to pull up.
He's got his lineup up, and now he can get in without the ability to. Maybe.
I mean, I don't know if I'd be going. Should we help him here?
Okay.
I'm down, brother.
Andy's helping.
Yeah, your arm's got to. I've got to have the hands to help me.
Okay.
Jason is really, really. Your elbows are in your hand holes, Jason.
Is it. Your hands need to go in the hand holes.
I don't think his hands should be straight up.
Oh, my God.
Hold on.
Don't cross your arms.
I'm trying to pull the thing down.
Okay.
There.
We got one.
We got one through.
Hold on.
Hold on.
Let me give it. I'm going to pull it back.
Give me a second.
It's hard when you're sitting, because it can't go. You are trapped.
It can't go low.
Where is this. Where's the other hand hole?
Someone help this man.
Okay.
The hands are out.
Yeah.
Here.
I got you.
Okay.
We're now putting the portrait on.
This is. Guys, you should have abandoned the hands, brother man.
Just put them down by. Okay.
There we go.
You're a wilted painting.
I'm ruined.
I'm feeling the rage.
Just pull it down.
Pull the whole thing down for him.
Pull it down.
Yeah.
That's what I can't do.
I can't pull the bottom down.
Yeah.
There we go.
Okay.
I'm beautiful.
There.
Now, look.
Now, you're so good.
All right.
We are into the fantasy face-off.
There.
Now, it's perfect.
All right.
You guys want to start at quarterback?
Yeah.
Sure.
Quarterback.
Mike, go ahead.
Hold on.
I got to find my line.
I will go first.
Yeah.
Please.
I'm taking Cam Ward.
Oh.
Tell me less.
Longest completion.
Oh.
30 and a half yards.
Oh, that's such a good less.
I'm taking the less.
Oh, my gosh.
There's no chance.
What a great. Against Cleveland, I don't think we take that chance.
So, we've got a trifecta.
of like a
powerhouse.
How are you not on his camera right now?
We've got a trifecta, like a power pick, where we each pick our favorite projection and we put it together.
Tell me that's the one that you put in.
I don't know if it is, but that is.
I thought it might be too complicated to put in that.
Oh, okay.
The pattern is too complicated.
Okay, my quarterback, I'm so happy to hear that Lamar Jackson is playing in this game.
I took Joe Burrow, Joe Burrow, six and a half rushing yards.
I'm going more because I think that this will be a. Has he been scooting a little bit?
It's like every other game.
It's just a matter of. Well, no, I mean it's. No, no, no, it's just funny.
If he gets out there and runs, he's going to cross six and a half rushing yards.
Okay, so I see 20.
If he runs, he's going to cross his number?
Yeah, because some games he doesn't get out and scramble.
He's not forced to scramble.
Except when he was. He looked dumb.
When he was three for six.
He looked trapped inside of like a Mona Lisa painting.
All right, my quarterback is Michael Penix Jr., guys.
227 and a half passing yards.
This is true shame.
The arms being locked up, I feel like I'm in a straight jacket.
Yeah, yeah.
And you look like that.
Put that on the list, a straight jacket.
You said Michael Penix Jr.?
Michael Penix Jr., 227 and a half passing yards.
Less.
Okay.
All right, I assume that's what you were going to say.
I am going to go with the same team.
I am taking Bijan Robinson.
I am taking 23.5 rushing yards in his first five attempts.
Five?
First five attempts.
Oh, easy peasy.
23.5.
More?
I'm taking the more.
Yeah, okay.
I'm taking the more.
For me, my running back is. You're so squatted down.
It's awesome.
This is so good.
For me, my running back is J.K. Dobbins.
I do think that the Broncos beat the Cardinals pretty handily,
and so I'm going to take 47.5 rushing yards, and I'm going more.
All right, here's my green goblin.
His name is Christian McCaffrey.
Oh, yeah.
His projection is 3.5 receptions.
We will take more.
Oh, okay.
Yeah, there's no other wide receivers.
That's why we went there.
My green goblin is my wide out.
His name is Jermie Bernard.
Yeah, baby.
Jermie.
The Jerms.
And the receiving number here, 24.
24.5 receiving yards.
What, I got his first catch?
I'm taking the more.
Jermie, more than 24.5.
He left me out in the rain.
Be a rookie.
Be a rookie, J.
Mine's a rookie.
Let's have fun.
Yours is a rookie?
Yeah.
All right.
I'm going to go with rookie wide receiver Malachi Fields.
Yes.
18.5 receiving yards.
I'm going more.
We ended up with it.
All right.
I got you, Kobe Lane.
All right.
23.5.
More.
Really hope Lamar's playing.
Yeah, that's interesting.
My tight end is George Kittle.
It's warm in these paintings.
I think this one's going to be.
I can see why she was not really happy.
George Kittle, 5.5 receptions.
I'm taking the more for George Kittle.
I don't think Evans is going to play.
Yeah, I like that.
This is my green goblin.
I'm going in the high over under game with Tucker Craft.
The neck is so stretched.
Look how wide that thing is.
Giraffe Mona Lisa.
Tucker Craft, my green goblin, more than two and a half receptions.
Well, gosh darn it.
I got Tucker Craft, but I don't got a green goblin.
His regular is four and a half receptions.
He's been averaging five a week for a month.
Here's hoping he gets three.
Yeah, the matchup is there.
It's my start of the week.
We're going with it.
We're riding.
All righty.
There you go.

Today, we'll be dropping our Week 7 Fantasy Footballers Player Pack lineup.
PrizePix, run your game.
Are we?
So, I think, no, you need to kind of stay there.
We're not done with this segment.
Yeah, okay.
I'll stay in here.
I just wanted to know if we were going to get those final three quotes.
What did you say?
Yeah, I think we're about to wrap up.
Al said he had something else he's going to do.
Yeah, real quick before we shut down, we had a lot of people write in just to say,
congratulations on 2000.
Thank you, folks.
And to kind of let them know what the show means to them, you know,
outside of the great fantasy football advice.
So, we will share those with you guys, but we picked out just a handful of the fun,
concise ones that Josh and I are going to read.
So, the first one.
We're going to read them live?
Okay, let's hear it.
Oh, boy.
First one comes in from CroxHockage86.
Ten years since I started listening, my life has changed so much,
but the ballers have always been a constant.
I started listening in college, in between classes, or at the gym,
and now I'm mowing my lawn and changing diapers for my two sons.
Wow.
Thank you for being there through it all.
You're welcome.
Thank you.
Yeah, that's awesome.
You're welcome.
All right, this one comes in from NotYourAverageGrandma,
and it says,
I'm a middle-aged mother of five girls, married for 30 years, about to be a grandma.
I started listening after figuring out who my husband listens to
so I can use his own intel against him.
Thanks to you guys, I'm now a proud footclimber,
fan member, Megaloball contestant, he's not, what a loser,
and play in three leagues, commissioner of one.
Thanks for what you do.
Don't ever quit.
Great job.
Thank you, Grandma.
Us women can stick together.
That's definitely NotYourAverageGrandma.
All right, the next one comes in from TheFrogInJason'sThroat.
Who's Jason?
I work as a therapist for an addiction treatment center,
and you are all a necessity in helping me decompress after work.
Oh, that's very nice.
I appreciate that.
Yeah.
You know, we have over 2,000 episodes in 12 years.
Often heard the, you know, in the beginning it was a surprise,
but just heard that, like, when people go through stuff,
and I, you know, we all have, like, different podcasts and things
that are our routines, but the lighthearted nature of the show
sometimes is just like, you know, a backstop.
This show's very serious, Andy.
What are you talking about?
Moments like this, which you finally got the costume to look good.
It took you 40 minutes.
Yeah, we figured it out.
I was under. Under duress.
Well, yes, you were.
That's, I mean, it's humbling to hear that.
Yeah.
The world is a very serious place right now.
Yeah, and then there's. Hello!
There's Jason.
Matt, take those three final what did he say's and put them out on socials.
People want to see the stupid stuff we do.
Yeah, you'll notice we don't have Matt reading any of these.
No, I didn't.
No.
I'm very thankful for that.
All right, Josh, take it away.
All right, this next one comes from BirdinHand, and it says,
Ballers, I started listening to you guys as a senior in high school right before. Before COVID.
Seven years later, you've helped me get through PT school while doubling my fantasy championships.
Cheers to 2K, and here's to the next 2K.
Awesome.
Yay!
Another 2,000, huh?
I'm going to throw one last bonus one in here.
Okay.
Because I like this one.
It makes me laugh.
It's from Frecklefoot.
I started listening the night. Hey, Frecklefoot.
The night Andrew Luck retired, desperate for someone, anyone, to make sense of that fantasy nightmare.
Through Discord, the Megalobol, and the Footcast, I've made lifelong friends I never would have met otherwise.
So thanks, Andrew Luck.
Quitting on your team was the best thing that anyone ever did for mine.
Nice.
That was ironically, we've said this before, that was at our live show moments before we went on stage.
He retires.
But Frecklefoot, long time Foot Clan supporter.
I have a freckle on my foot.
And Jason's having too much fun inside of this costume.
Another really big thank you to everyone.
Thank you so, so, so much for supporting our show again.
50 episodes, 2,000 episodes, I don't know.
Yeah, I mean, these are moments. People were like, I was a senior in high school, and now I'm like, oh, goodness gracious.
Yeah, if you heard the clips earlier in the show, you'd notice our voices didn't even sound the same.
No, the beard's a bit more gray now.
Yeah, but we appreciate each and every one of you.
We really do.
Thank you so, so much.
Anybody that's listened, followed, watched the show, took part in anything we've ever done, said a nice thing about us someplace in a review or on. On social media.
Thank you.
And you know what?
Even the people that have said not-so-nice things, thank you for engaging.
That helps the algorithm.
Thank you.
All right, that is going to do it for today's episode.
Episode 2,000 for the Mona Lisa, for Mike Wright, for Andy Holloway.
We say goodbye.
Goodbye.
