The episode blends humor and insightful commentary on modern culture, starting with a lighthearted promotion of Carvana’s buyer’s remorse-free car returns. It shifts to a celebration of Pepsi as a catalyst for fun, especially in social settings. A central theme explores the growing visibility and impact of women’s basketball, spotlighting standout players like Sophie Cunningham and Olivia Miles, while questioning the politicization of women’s sports. The discussion touches on fan engagement, player excellence, and the absurdity of trans debates in sports, emphasizing how real passion and performance drive public support. The narrative contrasts with broader societal issues, such as the misuse of surveillance technology by law enforcement and mysterious underground incidents in New York, which are framed as signs of urban oddity and systemic misalignment. The episode concludes with a call for progress in women’s sports, celebrating their rising popularity and cultural significance, and advocates for greater investment in the WNBA as a dynamic, influential league. Throughout, the tone remains playful yet thought-provoking, blending sports, social commentary, and personal anecdotes into a cohesive exploration of modern life and values.

The Brilliant Idiots Podcast
Back for another week of Brilliant Idiotness
Helikon Walker
Hello, sir
How was your weekend, my brother?
It was good
Anything fun?
It was good
I'm trying to think of anything specifically fun from it
Um. No, just spending time with the family, man
Bro, I went to the greatest league
The greatest sports league going today
I went to a game fucking Saturday
I went to the Indiana Fever
Ooh
New York Liberty game
You saw the goat
Who?
Major Wilson wasn't on that court
No, Sabrina
No, I mean, obviously, I'm talking about Sophie Cunningham
Um, I like, listen, I like Sophie's game
Sophie reminds me of Bill Lambert, Dennis Rodman type
Not as tough on defense as them
But the energy is what I'm saying
I'm not saying, like, she's not
Those guys are defensive juggernauts, right?
But the energy
That energy that a Bill Lambert has
And Beer had on the court
The energy that Dennis Rodman
I actually think Sophie's kind of holding back a little bit now, though
Really?
Yeah, I think she's kind of holding back a little bit
The internet got to her?
I think the internet got to her a little bit
I think so
Did they boo her?
I heard they booed her
Not in a. Here's the funny thing
There was protests outside of the Barclays Center
But there was. I guess you would call them, like, pro-women protests
Who are with Sophie and agree with her
Oh
And that crowd was larger than the anti. The anti-crowd
The anti-what?
I don't know
I'm about to say anti-trans
But it's not anti-trans
It's people that are pro-trans
Yeah, pro-trans
People that are pro-trans
The pro-trans in women's sports crowd
I don't even know if it's pro-trans in women's sports
Well, why else would they protest?
I think people are conflating all of the issues
And they think that if you say you don't want trans women in sports
If you're against trans
Then you're against trans
That's what I get from it
But I'm going to be honest with you
It's just such a silly conversation
Because it's not even a thing
It's just such a silly conversation
It's not even a thing
But I'll tell you one thing
Boy, Sophie Cunningham had a lot of goddamn people
Wearing jerseys Saturday night
In New York City
She's fighting for job security
I don't understand why
I sat next to a whole family
The whole family had on Sophie Cunningham jerseys
And I'm like
Is she related to them?
No
Like literally
It was two kids
And like a mom
All of them had Sophie Cunningham jerseys on
And I'll tell you something else I saw
Game was over
End of the game
And I'm like
And I could be wrong
I saw my girl Raven Johnson
Sleuth Raven Johnson
That's why I even went to the game
For the support Raven
And Sophie Cunningham
And Aaliyah Boston
Another player came off a few
I only remember seeing like four people play
I could be wrong
I only remember seeing four
And I saw Sophie being very kind
To all her supporters
So my point is
She's working this moment
Explain that
She's working the moment
Like she knows
She's working the moment
She got the light on her
She got some attention on her
For a lot of
For various reasons right
It's not just because of
What the comments she made about the transgender
I think the point thing was what really
Shifted the pivot
Before that it was when she took down Sheldon for
For Caitlyn
She's the enforcer
You gotta protect your star
When she took Sheldon down for Caitlyn
That's when I think
Her star started to rise
With that point shit earlier this year
Really did it
And then the transgender thing of course
You know got her
The crowd that just wants to use it
For political purposes
Question
How many dillies thrown?
None
I mean now
Now it's the brown dildo hitting the court
What?
You didn't see that big six foot ten dildo?
That big brown six foot ten dildo?
That big
That big
That big brown six foot ten dildo?
So what happened?
Enos Cantor
Pulled up to the Indiana field
With Chicago Sky game
In a shirt that said woman
It had the definition of woman on there
And to me he just defeated his whole point
That he's trying to make
Explain
Because if your point is
You know
You want to protect women's sports
And you want to keep
You know biological men from playing
In women's sports
At some point you have to say
If you have to manufacture a problem
For it to be a problem
Then it's not a problem
Right
Because there's no men
Trying to play in the WNBA
Except for you
They're not men
Well whatever the fuck
There's no
There's no
There's nobody born a biological man
That wants to play in the WNBA
Except for you
Right
And so
For you to show up to the game
There's no way the dildo
Hit the free throw
There's no way
It's not on the free throw line
Is it?
Yeah
While she's shooting
It hit the fucking free throw line
Ain't no way
They hit the fucking free throw line
They quit working at this
They hit the free throw
By the way
WNBA
WNBA is cooking
Oh is it sold out?
Like
Bro
I got the stats right here
It's having its best season ever
73 million unique viewers
By the all-star break
More than all the last season combined
29 games
With over a million viewers
Compared to 11 all of last year
Up 16% in attendance league wide
19,783 people
At the all-star game in Chicago
Outdrawing the NBA all-star game
For the first time ever
Wow
People are watching
All-star game
All this shit
All this shit is good for the league
If they had a fucking commissioner
That could really bring all this shit together
It'd be incredible
They got a fucking great product on the court
Number one
The game's always fun to watch
Then you got all this drama
Motherfuckers throwing green dildos
Right
You got Enos Cantor throwing up
Showing up to the games
They got the tallest Asians I've ever seen
What you gonna do now?
Yo the Liberty
Has an Asian
That's like 6'7 bro
Wow
Okay
You didn't see her?
Her name is Han Yu
And every time she makes a basket
It sounds like they're going
Ryuuken
Ryuuken
The announcer be like
Ryuuken
Ryuuken
Perfect
Yo
Look at
What's her name?
Han Yu right?
How tall is Han Yu?
6'11
6'11
6'11
7 footer around her
She's Chinese
So they let Trans in already
Alright
See what I'm saying?
Alright Al
See what I'm saying?
That was unnecessary
See what I'm saying?
We're trying to be progressive
You see what the fuck I'm saying?
Al we're trying to be progressive
But why was that?
Why was that?
Was that even necessary?
That was completely pointless
Come on
You wouldn't let her walk on your back?
Oh 100%
I mean she's huge
It can ball
Plays for the Liberty
Yeah
She plays for the Liberty
Han Yu
Han Yu kid
Han Yu kid
Yo every time she was
Oh
Yeah bro
Han ain't playing
Oh man
I like the WNBA
I don't give a fuck what y'all say
I ain't
We haven't said anything
I know
That's the problem
That's the problem
You make
That's the fucking
You're doing this cancer shit right now
You're creating a problem that doesn't exist
We're asking you about your experience at this place
And you're getting defensive
I remember
We're trying to enjoy it
I'm in the mad game
But I'm just saying yes
What about the all-star game?
No no hold up
I didn't like that
Kaitlyn Clark
Best player in the league obviously right?
No
But like
She's the number one player in the league
Based on what?
Skin color
Box office
Box office
Yeah she's box office
But she's not the best player in the league
Not even close
Is she top five?
Top five player in the league
Top ten
She just dropped 37 last night
Yeah and Kelsey Mitchell
Who's the best player on that team
Had like 33, 34
You think she's not even the best player in her own team?
I know she's not the best player on her own team
Kelsey Mitchell is the best player on the Indiana Fever
Like it's not even close
You know a lot of these players bro
Watch the games
If I'm being honest
I think you know more WNBA players than NBA players
You're probably right
Because for the last at least five, six, seven years
The women got more of an identity than the guys
Listen I started watching women's college basketball
When Don Staley became you know
The coach of the University of South Carolina Gamecocks
And you know I was like
I've been hooked ever since
I've seen all of these
I've seen all of these women come into college
The Caitlins, the Angel Reeses
I saw when they first started
I remember when Angel Reese played at Maryland
How much is Roc Nation paying you to say this?
Do they have a WNBA division?
How much are they paying you to say this bro?
Roc Nation don't pay me to do nothing
I do it for the sport
That's what they don't understand
I do this shit
Because I like to do it
Charlamagne is compromised
I do it because I like to do it
Guys no
Listen I see a lot of you out there saying
Charlamagne is compromised
my eyes, bro.
I just want to let you know that this is true love.
I'm not compromised.
I do it for the sport.
What did you just pull up, Alex?
Top five WNBA players right now.
Asia Wilson, number one.
Kayla Clark, number two.
Alyssa Thomas, number three.
Angel Reese, number four.
What site is this?
Where's the new one?
Where's the new girl?
What's her face?
Exactly.
If Olivia Miles ain't in top five.
Not Olivia Miles.
The white girl.
Paige Beckers?
Paige.
That's what I'm saying.
But by the way, you got to see Olivia Miles.
Is part of this the fact that you have three, sorry, four daughters?
No.
This is what you do, Alex.
Go to YouTube.
Pull up Olivia Miles 30 seconds.
Olivia Miles 30 seconds.
This happened the other night.
Watch this sequence.
This is a 30-second sequence at the start of the game.
Let me see.
Olivia Miles had the most insane 30. Yo, this sequence by Olivia Miles might be a. She's a rookie.
Why are you doing that, Alex?
Oh, you want me to. Yeah, play it.
Pull it back.
Bring it back.
Bring it back.
Bring it back.
Bring it back.
Olivia Miles might be the best sequence in WNBA history.
Look at that.
Nice little. Nice scoop.
Steal.
Buckets.
So, she already got a layup, a steal, and another layup.
And then on the other end, a couple seconds later, she snatched that ball.
Give me that.
Nice steal.
She got another steal.
Went coast to coast and did this.
What accent is this guy?
Miles, no one picked her up.
Money.
Ooh.
Okay.
Miles serving.
Too much of a bag.
A citron on the back side.
Nice little assist.
She makes it look like she's playing against kids sometimes.
Like, what she's doing as a rookie is ridiculous.
She's a rookie.
Number two pick in the draft.
They can do it again.
Nice finish.
And then had a charcuterie board at my girlfriend.
Ooh.
She got little kids dressing like her at the game, bro.
With the afro and the goggles.
She knows exactly what she's going to do.
Either deliver a beautiful assist or get to her spot.
And pull up.
That's why they're just one possession.
Wow.
Filthy.
Yeah.
Up above the rim.
It's halfway down.
Easy.
What?
She's what they want Caitlyn to be.
So it's not even a question anymore that she was going to be a rookie.
But the fact that she's an MVP.
Your bro, Olivia, dominates games, bro.
Like, why are you doing this, bro?
It's just the truth.
But you don't got to hate Caitlyn to love her.
I don't hate Caitlyn.
Welcome to the fucking big leagues, young ladies.
Where you get compared to other players.
Okay?
Where people are going to say, this person's nice.
Paige is nice.
This person ain't Caitlyn.
You think?
Easy.
I don't know, man.
I think.
Easy.
After having watched no games, I feel like Caitlyn might be the best player in the league.
After having watched zero games, I really believe that.
What is this you pulled up now?
No, I just wanted to see the top 10 to see if.
Top 10 what?
Players in the league.
Top 10 current players.
Based off what?
This is like AI overview or some shit.
Go up.
Current stats.
That can't be right, bro.
Go up.
Let's see.
Asia definitely number one, dominating everything.
We already know that.
Best player in the fucking world.
South Carolina all day.
Kelsey Mitchell.
They got Caitlyn at two.
Kelsey at three.
That makes no sense when Kelsey Mitchell is averaging 24 a game, 44% from three-pointer.
And Caitlyn's averaging 22.1.
Caitlyn's averaging 22.8.
Because she got Kelsey.
Pass me the ball, Pippen.
Yeah, but you still got to pass the person the ball in a way that they can score it.
Kelsey's much better than Caitlyn.
She's just much better.
You got to watch.
If you watch the games, you'll see.
Kelsey Mitchell's just a dog.
She's just. And Caitlyn's good.
You can't talk about women like this.
Dude, I've been doing this pod with you for so long.
So crazy, right?
You can't refer to women as dogs, Charlamagne.
Bro, those are dogs on the court, all right?
Kelsey Mitchell's a dog.
She gets busy, okay?
We can't do this when it comes to basketball, yo.
All right?
Okay.
Honestly, I thought that you've grown.
You want me to call them cats?
I thought that you. Yes.
Yo, you know what?
Kelsey's a cat on the court.
Bam.
Bam.
No, I think that's a little bit better.
You can't call them dogs.
Question, though.
Why. You know, I do wonder this from white people.
Yeah.
Why does this generation of white people, white WNBA players, rub people the wrong way
as opposed to the Diana Taurasi's, the Breonna Stewart's?
They were much better, especially DT, much better ball player than a Caitlyn Clark.
What do you mean rub people the wrong way?
This generation of white people is. Caitlyn Clark.
Yeah.
Those Sophia Cunningham.
Caitlyn Cunningham.
They're rubbing people the wrong way.
Why?
Um. I don't know.
That's a great question.
When you've been. You're like, why aren't they as celebrated as the past white players in the WNBA?
We've seen great white players before.
I think. And Sophie's not. Sophie's a good. Sophie's a good role player.
Nobody cared before.
Yeah.
I think that's why.
And I think now, with more people caring, like, the fact that people are even comparing
WNBA players, that's never happened in my life.
Like, there was never. There's never a time in my life where people were like, is Lisa Leslie better than Diana
Taurasi?
Whatever.
Nobody. Try to start that conversation about. Not in a casual way.
Never.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
There's nobody watching us to even say.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
But you're someone who actually watches the game.
You know way more of these players than you know NBA players.
So it's like. I mean, as a gay guy, what do you think?
Like, what is your opinion on it?
The NBA players don't have personalities anymore.
You can't even name who came out of the draft this year.
I can't.
Who?
Marcus Aurelius.
Shut the fuck up, man.
Shout out to the daily stoic.
Yes, that's not true.
You can't name one player that came out of the NBA this year.
That came into the league.
Oh, wow.
Hey, wow.
It's been like this for the last. You know more WNBA players than you know.
It's been like that for the last few years.
I know one rookie.
Two rookies for the WNBA.
You know what?
But that's also. There's an issue with that, which is like college.
Yeah.
College basketball for men sucks now.
Because of the one and done shit.
Exactly.
In college, they stayed for three years, four years.
So they build up these identities.
They build up identities.
They build up storylines.
Yeah, they're more marketable in that way.
In the NBA, we got to like make sure that they can become stars and then most of them fizzle out.
So now you have these guys that weren't even predicted as stars now never make it.
The NBA should change it.
The NBA should change the age limit to enter the NBA now.
It's tricky because. It'll start to weaken the actual NBA product, yo.
You need stars, bro.
You need more WNBAs.
You need more people coming into the league as rookies that people are excited about.
Like, oh, shit.
So here's the thing.
It's like now that the NIL deals work, you could probably get away with that.
Yes.
Before the NIL deals, basically forcing a kid to not make generational wealth.
You know what I'm saying?
You know what I mean?
Like, that's a really tricky. You see what I'm saying?
But I do. Look, two years?
What do you think?
Three years now.
I think two.
Listen, skill-wise, this draft for the NBA probably was one of the best drafts ever.
Skill-wise.
WNBA or the NBA?
NBA.
Like, who did you like in a draft?
AJ DeNosta, he went number one.
Who's the dude that Chicago drafted at five?
Pull that up, Alex.
Pull up top five NBA draft picks 2026.
Carlos Buzas' son, he went. I forgot.
I think he went maybe number three.
But AJ DeNosta's nice.
But that dude. But that dude. But that dude. But that dude. The dude who the Bulls drafted?
I can't even remember his fucking name, but I've been watching him in the summer leagues.
Beaston.
What's his name?
All right, Wizards got AJ DeNosta.
Jazz got Darren Peterson.
Darren Peterson, nice.
Memphis Grizzlies, Cameron Bulls.
Bulls.
Kaleeb Wilson.
That's who it is.
Caleb Wilson.
Caleb Wilson.
Yeah.
Nice.
Yeah.
Nice.
But my point is, other than probably Cameron. Bro, you're so right about this.
You don't know. There is no marketing for the future stars of the NBA that happened in college.
You used to leave college a superstar.
Do you remember Jason Williams?
Yes.
At Duke?
But that's why I know Cameron.
Played for Duke.
Sure, sure.
It was in the tournament.
Sure, but like, I'll be honest with you, not cutting through.
And that's Carlos Bulls' son.
Yeah.
You got two of them.
One's still at Duke.
That's right.
Yeah.
You got to keep these people in the league. I mean, in the college for at least two years.
I mean, look, it's advantageous for the NBA because two ways.
One, you get to build a star before it comes to the league.
Two, players don't have to. Sorry, teams don't have to cough up insane contracts. off a gamble.
Oh, that's what I want to talk to you about.
Now that we're talking about sports.
Talk to me.
Have you heard this conversation about, like, should private equity be able to own sports franchises?
Yes.
What are your thoughts on it?
I don't. I think capital is capital.
Like, why can't private equity own sports franchises?
Are you basing this off the Lakers?
The Lakers, but I think they're, like, trying to buy. They're trying to buy on some other things.
So just by now, basically, guys, like, a private equity firm is a firm that will raise a bunch
of money, and, like, the single goal for that firm is to get a return on that investment
for. Yeah, if private equity can invest in anything else.
They invest in everything.
Movies, all types of shit.
Well, I hear that argument.
I hear that argument.
Okay, okay.
And then the argument that they would make is they're incentivized to make the team better
because if the team isn't better, then people don't want to go watch the team, and then
they're not going to make any money.
You never get the ROI, yeah.
But. Because what they're doing is applying, like, the free. The free market to sports franchises.
I don't think sports franchises are the free market.
I am a Knicks fan.
I will only like the Knicks for my entire life, and I have only liked the Knicks for
my entire life.
I've liked them when they're absolutely horrible.
I like them when they're champions of the world.
The market doesn't adjust.
The Knicks sucked for decades, and we rocked with them.
We sold out that fucking arena every single night.
So when you put private equity, right, like, the idea. The old version of an owner is like a marquee.
cuban like a benevolent fucking a billionaire who's like i'm just gonna dump money into this
because my ego is caught into making this team succeed and i'm gonna put more money than other
people in into every part of the team so that we can't get that championship and then the worst
owner is like the clippers owner who's like i'm not gonna really pay people and this is just an
investment i'll hold on to it but i don't think that you can just go yeah private equity is just
like capital and capital could go wherever he wants because it's not a free market i'm never
gonna not be a knicks fan so i need to know who's in control that team that person who's in control
of that team actually cares about satisfying himself and winning not just getting the most
return for their best the knicks are unique a unique case though because it's new york city
which is already the most expensive city in the fucking country okay right and the fact of the
the fact that the knicks do have a die-hard fan base yeah that's going to show up and sell out
this motherfucking arena all the time like there's a lot more than new york
than let's say a charlotte nobody's putting up with a whack charlotte team you know what i'm saying
but that's that's on charlotte though it is but if charlotte's not winning that means they can't
put the butts in the seats so now they gotta make concessions now they gotta make ticket prices
cheaper you know what i'm saying now they gotta make the merch and stuff cheaper i would think
i would think they would have to adjust to the market new york always adjust to the market
meaning like oh they still coming they still spending oh put the prices up even more you know
it's still a garden at the end of the day yeah i just think that like a sports franchise is not
it's not the same as like a regular asset like for example if the if the team needs a new arena
the taxpayers pay for it that's it's unbelievable so like first of all i disagree with that i
completely disagree second of all i think because of that reason alone you shouldn't be able to take
a franchise and move it to another state i think that should be illegal and if you do do that you
have to pay back the taxpayers
the investment that they put in the team because we're paying all this money so that you can have
this beautiful arena so that you guys can play in you get the equity increase of the team playing in
that beautiful arena maybe being able to attract other stars people want to be part of this amazing
franchise that we have put our hard-earned money into yeah we're not treated as investors it would
be interesting if they if these teams had some type of like residence tax almost to where like
that is paid that like that arena has to give back to like local local communities i think we should
our local organizations i think i think if we supply the money for the arena and the taxpayers
we should get equity the tax base get equity in the team what would that look like though for a
whole city so what i would say is like again i don't know i'm financially illiterate so like
don't take my word on this but more like if there is a sale of the team the equity base that we have
in that sale goes to the city budget or the state budget whatever it is and then we get to disperse
that capital i'm not mad at that but i what i what i'm saying i think that some of these teams
should have to allocate certain amounts of money every year to certain different community
organizations i mean if something if we paid for your fucking arena you better believe you should
kick back i think they would argue that oh we're providing jobs for people in the area and i would
say you're not providing jobs we're providing jobs because we're paying for the arena if tax
if taxpayers are paying for the fucking arena yes i hate when people do that shit they're like we're
providing jobs who's we yeah i'm part of that i'm part of the we i'm part of the reason you can
afford to pay these motherfuckers now there are some teams that they want to build their own arena
or they raise private funds to build their own arena okay that's on you if you want to move the
team i guess you could i would actually make a rule where there was like a penalty to move a team
what's the debate against private capital because i would think that all of these guys
if they don't have their own wealth they're going to get private capital the debate is like
like we've seen before and a lot of people make this complaint now which is like let's say there's
like a tequila brand it gets really popular private equity comes in buys the tequila brand
then they switch the ingredients to make the ingredients cheaper and they're not using real
agave they're using just regular sugar or whatever now the quality of the tequila goes down and they
don't mind selling it because it's already this big successful thing that you're going to buy at
the restaurant tequila whatever we don't really care about that you can go to another tequila i
don't know how you're going to like hollow out that franchise financially so that you can make a huge
return for your investors or or if your private equity do you go we're not going to invest any
money in this team all sports franchises rise as long as the league does better and in 10 years
we're just going to sell it for more without investing any money in it and then our investors
get all this money you should get james dolan on flagrant because you should you should ask him
what made him finally start investing into the next the way that he should well i mean if you
look at the mellows you look at the mellow deal they invested in it yeah you look at bro not only
mellow uh what's it called uh you know why you know why i didn't like the mellow deal oh i can't
believe i'm blanking on phil phil got like 25 million or something like that to coach the team
or to be the uh the gm or whatever the president of the basketball operations the mellow deal was
up because all he had to do was wait for mellow to be a free agent sign mellow and free agency
they gave away too many assets that could have
potentially made them be a championship team yeah but like listen i'm not trying to
i'm not trying to cap right for decisions that were made in the past obviously we want to win
every single time but the other argument is like hindsight is 20 20. we gave up five picks for
mikhail bridges if the knicks lose everybody's going why the do we give five hits the next one
everybody's like those picks are worthless who gives a about those picks but all he had to do
was wait a half a season what if denver trades him before he wanted to come to new york he wanted to
up to mellow what if denver trades him before that i don't got a sign if i'm mellow you trade me i still
don't got a sign with this other team so they might just have to keep you for the end of the season
that's it and i go to new york and free agency i mean like you say hindsight is 20 20 but i just
never understood that would have been the smart decision but maybe they thought that this year
was the year that they could actually do it i don't know i just i would love to talk have a
conversation with him and just ask him when did you realize i got a starting bet and it's funny
that you because i remember when they won he goes sorry if you're not going to win you're not going
to win i'm sorry it took this long it won't take this long next time but i want to say something to
new york hey new york i'm sorry it took so long but here we are and hopefully it won't take that
long again and i wonder what's the mindset like what's the mindset that makes you finally just
start investing over the last couple years and by the way did they really invest let's keep it real
let's get very real nobody outside of new yorkers thought that the next
headed shakes nobody out you you can narrow it down again nobody outside of the brunson family
okay nobody outside of the brunson family
then they got a couple of people in the organization on board like i think this guy
really no new yorkers were delusional worldwide west shout out to west yo shout out to but y'all
thought y'all was gonna win it every year i really do one that's our problem the delusional optimism
that it takes to live in the city and succeed in this city we then apply to our sports franchises
and then we believe every single year they're gonna win and then we got some guy from
italy running point friggioni whatever this guy he got they got some guy who was 47 years old with no
birth certificate from italy running point and all of us were like nah this is going to be the year
friggioni's going to play lynn sanity is the one that makes y'all there's people already
talking to repeat before we even got the second gangs i don't have a problem with it that's fine
next year the confidence is going to be through the roof for them like they and
like they're they're going to be out of control because who we really got to worry about we know we can
beat san antonio that's easy that was light work we know we can beat santa antonio gonna be good
next year though yeah but we beat them in a way where like you'll you can never recover
psychologically from that like what we did to them was was honestly it was it was molestation
like it was it was something that will give you trauma for the rest of your life damn
that game game four neil sporter on the brim all of it game four is you can never recover psychologically
from that you'll never feel safe with the lead against us or maybe any other team again
yeah it's ptsd it's funny because i've heard stories about like san antonio spurs players
they don't even like to high five anymore why how do they were they low five they don't even like
to do it they get offended no more five oh no more fun that's what just that's what i heard
they get offended yo like yo you trying to be funny yeah you know what i mean i mean yeah we all
like what the if they walk up to women and be like high five what the else am i supposed
to do you're seven foot six bro yeah yeah you gotta take that

tempomeals.com slash idiots rules and restrictions may apply what the concessions that are sold
at a game is that going to the knicks organization or msg like who does that go to i think that all
the msg right don't don't they get a percentage no i think that like i mean like when you're when
you're a comedian doing it or when you're doing now the knicks like when the knicks so when the
knicks are playing like the knicks are owned by the person who also owns the knicks so when the
knicks are playing like the knicks so when the knicks are playing like the knicks so when the
owns the madison square garden okay so naturally so dolan dolan or that goes back to that group if
it let's say private equity got involved can they like start uh cheapen the quality of the food
or raise food and drink prices no because like you're only going to do that when they're doing
a knicks game and not when there's like an aria grande concert yeah i mean maybe they could
potentially do that they could look into all the things for sure y'all don't get pieces of
concessions right when you do the comedy i didn't but there might be somebody that
like you know in their contract they go hey i want a piece of everything going on yeah yeah
they make a lot of money but also doing the garden is such a like everybody knows there's
something you want to do so they have all the leverage when you're doing an arena in some like
random city you probably can put a little more pressure on the deal and get a piece of everything
i don't have a problem with private um capital yo private equity private equity
none whatsoever no i'm whether you have a problem or not you mean you're saying in
sports specifically period it's money it's private equity like go that's what i thought
by be honest i'm shocked that a team has never been bought because of private equity you have
to be are the goals aligned that's the tricky thing are the goals aligned if you want an roi
i would think so like i don't even know if we should let people not from america buy a team
that's interesting i mean yeah but i'm down with us buying all their teams i'm 100 down with us
on one of their teams but like i don't know owning a team is very specific right like you have to want
to do that like you have to want to be in that business that's what we hope you you know like
most of these teams don't make money no they make money when they sell like naturally the asset goes
up over years and years but like they're not making money day to day there's a handful of
teams in the league that make money and the players are probably making more money than the whole team
itself i mean listen you you know you know why the lake is sold right yeah because my man was giving
him
what's it called like uh what was he doing he was like yeah can y'all break that down because i
still don't yes my buddy's trying to break it down to me it was way too smart for me
but it was something like he had affiliate businesses that he was selling things from
his other businesses too is that the breakdown yo man mark walter majority owner moved to sell
his stake after coming under federal investigation regarding undisclosed loans
and investments tied to his insurance companies creating an urgent need to liquidate major assets
to sell to buyers josh kushner jared kushner's brother and bob eiger capitalizes on a rapid 2.5
billion value increase in just over a year shooting the team's worth up to 12.5 billion
from the 10 billion it was valued at when walter initially bought in don't be surprised if that
investigation just goes away oh because of the connection of course well to me it's like no but
isn't it beneficial for them to have that investigation the investigation got forcing
that guy to sell yeah the investigation was forcing a sale yeah so the investigation won't
go away they want the investigation maybe if that's part of it you want this investigation
to go away buddy sell the team yeah well he doesn't have a he doesn't have a choice whether
to sell a team or not and he's selling a portion of his uh soccer team because he owes like 20
billion dollars hold on let me pull up the other part of the story yeah that would help i want to
get a quick most 20 billion
something insane something and it's like coming due like he owes 2 billion in a month and like
20 billion in the near future what happened when billionaires just used to kill himself and shit
like that used to happen yo you don't remember that not too late i'm just saying like oh shit
this just came out was just a rumor that he's selling uh the dodgers he might sell the dodgers
now oh you gotta sell it all uh you gotta sell it all how can an empire like how can an empire
how can you build up these motherfuckers are greedy bro like that's what i was saying before
make all like how can you build up that much money on a house of cards like this where it could just
like collapse this is it a house was it a house of cards though the fact that he's being forced
to sell his teams is crazy it's never enough man it's never enough yeah so you keep stretching
yourself then and then different things happen economically rates change and uh i'm trying to
find the fucking article man hold on
i didn't have this one queued up on my phone hold on mark walter sold lakers so according to
the wall street journal investigators are examining complicated transactions involving
insurance companies walter walter controls lending money into affiliated businesses yes
so roughly 20 billion in loans allegedly weren't disclosed to delaware insurance regulators no
criminal charges have been filed against walter so this is an investigation not finding that he
committed fraud it says an urgent
need for liquidity yeah because i guess those loans are coming due
yeah hold on
there was another angle hold on guys what's that hold on real quick i don't want to say it until i
say it hold on yes okay so there's a trump angle mark walter is being investigated by federal
prosecutors in the sec those investigations are occurring under the trump administration
walter then abruptly sells the lakers to a group led by josh kushner jared kushner's younger brother
jared of course is president some president trump's son-in-law the sequences led to speculation that
walter could have felt pressure to sell to someone connected to the trump kushner orbit
forbes specifically reported that the transaction has spawned theories of a possible quid pro quo
because of the timing of the investigation and sale yahoo has reported the same theory and
the white house denies any involvement so you're saying that they put the investigation out that's
there so that it could force the sale
maybe that would make sense i mean here's the real question yeah it says federal investigators
are screwing up the complicated transactions involving insurers how are they going to recoup
12.5 billion dollars that's what i'll be saying by the way makers don't make this money it's like
remember when we had this conversation a few weeks ago tell me remember when i was telling
you about i had the opportunity to invest in the franchise yeah and i was just like these
numbers don't even make no sense how do you make these numbers back in the long run
and and and this shit is like supposed to come in at like six seven billion dollars
who is going to have that to buy in the future how and i know everybody's saying what the lakers
just sold for 12.5 you know after but they just sold for 10 i mean yeah he 10 months later he's
going to make two and a half billion dollars but i'm trying to find how much lakers make a year in
profit it ain't that bro you gotta hold on to that team for a long time well that's the thing
these things will never be the same again
never gonna i mean they make 170 million in annual profit and you get to write off all this shit so
these like billionaires write off the losses against their other businesses this out of my
price range i don't know me too i can't i'm seeing we said i'm economically illiterate yeah we sitting
there having a conversation that i can't even discuss i don't even know why it's beneficial
i get it i guess i mean you're just holding a fixed asset a controlled asset right like
they're not they're made they're not really making more franchises so these things as the sport gets
more popular automatically grow it's not a free market that's another thing you can't just it's
not a free market so we can't apply free market economics to it you can't just make a new sports
franchise if the knicks suck i can't just make another new york team and put it up in new york
the nba won't accept it the other team owners won't accept it so it's not it's not a monopoly
but you have almost a monopoly on the franchise within your city that's why fuck these dicks
invest in the wnba bro
got like five or six new franchises coming you think it's a game
oh i get why you all about this shit in your book i've been like this for five six years
y'all know this i've been talking about women's basketball which franchise you invest in i don't
know yet you probably the one throwing the dildos you know what it's doing to the ratings this guy's
the most diabolical marketing genius i ever met in my life he got a whole dildo factory in cambodia
Taking the green joints just to get shit.
This shit is bright, okay?
They hit the floor.
Everybody notices them immediately, okay?
All right?
They threw a brown one, and he called them immediately.
He's like, I need something shiny.
We're doing the purple for the playoffs.
Nice.
That's why he's always shouting out studs.
Yo.
Shout out to the stud buds.
No, for real.
All jokes aside, if I was to invest in a franchise,
I would invest in the WNBA.
WNBA got like, Houston's got a franchise coming.
Philly's got a franchise coming.
I think Detroit's got a franchise coming.
Who else?
I hope Charlotte gets one.
Charlotte gets one.
I'm definitely going to be all in.
Yeah?
I mean, I'm going to ask.
I don't know if they'll let me be a part of it.
Yeah.
I'm going to ask.
Shout out to the WNBA, though, man.
Best league in the world right now.
They killing it?
Yes.
What else we got?
Alex Media.
Finish the Taylor's List?
I don't know what any of them.
Yo, what's the. No, no, no, no, no, no.
Fuck all that, New Yorkers.
What's up with this Sewell shit?
Yo.
Tell me.
I don't know.
I'm asking y'all.
You tell me.
I don't fucking know.
Why are people crawling out of the sewers and they're not Ninja Turtles?
Let me see it.
Several people climbing out of a manhole near Penn Station.
Video posted to social media shows people in overalls and what appears to be headlamps
emerge from the manhole one by one.
Those are actual moments, bro.
This happened back on Tuesday about 4 o'clock in the morning.
They're dressed like the moment.
The NYPD says it is aware of this video.
The Department of Environmental Protection inspected the sewers.
What's going on?
And did not find any structural damage.
What movie are they promoting?
This video follows similar underground sightings in Brooklyn and Queens earlier this year.
It's unclear whether all three incidents are connected.
Shocking new video.
Come on, man.
I'll be honest.
I'm shocked more people don't go down there.
Like you can just lift open those manholes.
I thought you needed a key or something like that to get them up.
No, they're heavy but you can just lift them up.
Yeah.
Go down there for what?
This is New York, bro.
Rent is high, man.
This is the thing.
This is the thing, bro.
You know where the rent is always frozen?
Underground.
You don't need to worry about an increase in rent when you live with the Ninja Turtles
and Splinter and all the other foot soldiers or whatever the fuck it is.
This is normal for New York.
No, it's not.
And the fact that nobody's asking any questions. This is how you know New York is a weird
place, right?
Tell me.
And one of the only places on the planet where this shit is just a fucking quick little story.
man, there's people climbing out of manholes.
Hey, man, we got more shit to worry about.
No, we need to know what the fuck is going on.
What do you think it is?
Bro, I don't know,
because they dress like mole men.
I thought I knew.
They do have a specific outfit.
But then they switched outfits.
They got a specific outfit.
Because before. They had another specific outfit.
And I understood that.
I was like, okay.
What did you understand about that one?
Well, I was just listening to Duff.
And Duff, Duff. He's throwing it on the table.
No, no, no.
Duff made me understand.
Duff was trying to explain it to me.
And I was like, you know what?
What do you explain?
Like, Duff, I don't even know what's. Duff, I get it.
What did he explain?
Listen, I don't even. Like, I said, Duff,
why is this happening?
He was like, look, Palestine.
I was like, yo.
Yo, yo, yo, yo.
They got tunnels.
I'm like, I get it.
Cool.
This, I don't understand.
And they're dressed like mole men, bro.
Yeah.
That don't make no fucking sense to me.
Well, maybe they had to switch up the outfits
because it was, you know, exposing them.
They're like, listen,
if we wear the hats and everything,
they're going to notice us.
So we got to dress like minions.
If we dress like minions,
nobody will know who the fuck it is.
You know what else pisses me off about this?
How the fuck they don't know who these people are?
What happened to all this facial recognition
and all this shit we're supposed to have?
What the fuck is going on?
Everybody's talking about how much of a horrible thing
these flat cameras are.
Have they caught anybody?
Flock or whatever?
Have they caught anybody yet?
How do we know they're even working?
You know how they work?
Yeah.
I just read a story.
I read a story where this guy,
this former police officer,
was keeping tabs on his ex-wife.
Using a flock camera.
Yes.
And said he called her in like 725 times
in the span of a year and a half.
And we're saying this is a bad idea.
What you mean?
What you mean?
We're against this?
I mean, you can't do that.
You don't want to be a cop.
You don't want to be under constant surveillance, do you?
You never had an ex-wife.
If she's my ex, I don't give a fuck where she's at.
He said he cared about the kids, though.
He wanted to know where the kids was at.
I don't believe that.
You wanted to know about that pussy.
Pull that up.
That's what it is.
That's what it is.
That's what it is.
He wanted to know where his ex-wife was,
who his ex-wife was out here sleeping with.
Yeah.
Pull that up.
Pull that up, Alex.
I mean, you got to have some good pussy
if you're going to the flock camera registry.
God damn.
Don't say it like that.
Flock?
Flock or flack?
Flock.
Flock.
I thought it was flock.
It's not flock?
It's flock.
Oh.
It's flock.
Yeah.
Oh, see, no, no.
It was one in general.
Was it the Florida one?
Yes, Christopher Goodson.
He was arrested after an internal investigation revealed
he searched his estranged ex-wife's license plate
717 times over a two-year period.
It's only 365 days in a year.
Goodson claimed he was monitoring his children,
but he was ultimately charged with official misconduct
and computer crimes.
Same thing here.
Officer Sergio Rodriguez was fired and indicted
in Fort Bend County on charges of stalking
and misuse of public information.
Internal affair documents revealed
he used the flock camera network
more than 2,300 times to stalk his ex-partner.
Yeah.
I don't. I don't. Nah.
When it's over, it's over, bro.
Let it go.
Let it go.
Go down one more because there's a girl.
I want to see what she was using it for.
Same thing.
Same thing.
Officer Elizabeth Snowden.
Was arrested and jailed
after a commanding officer's audit
caught her using flock cameras
to track her boyfriend's ex-wife.
Why the fuck do you care
about what your boyfriend's ex-wife is doing?
I don't know why.
Here's the other one.
Same thing.
Former officer Jose Ayala
was sentenced to one year of probation
after pleading guilty to misusing
the Milwaukee Police Department's
flock system database
to track his ex-girlfriend
and her partner
more than 170 times.
But you know Latinos.
Can't help themselves.
You know that that's in the DNA.
There's a jealousy in the DNA.
You can't give them access to the flocks.
Damn, shit.
We did name two Latinos.
Yeah.
God damn.
Sergio Rodriguez and fucking Jose Alea.
I'm going to just assume
Elizabeth Snowman is white
because of Snowman.
Christopher Goodson is definitely white.
My point is,
when the person is gone,
they're gone.
You don't got to put them under surveillance, bro.
For what?
No, you're right.
Why would you even want to do that to yourself?
That's the right logical thing,
but I'm not saying that we don't all do it.
But why?
We don't.
Why would you want to do that to yourself?
Why would you torture yourself like that?
People do it on Instagram.
People do it on these other things.
They shouldn't be able to do it on this.
Block me for my own good.
Yeah, that's true.
I don't want you to see me over here
popping this pom-pom for a goon.
Okay?
But they do want you to see that, man.
I don't.
They're probably running around
looking for flock cameras
to twerk and flirt.
God damn.
Just why would you want to do that to somebody, man?
Let that shit go.
Let it go.
Yo, let it go.
I ain't stalking nobody, yo.
We break up, we break up.
That is what it is.
Yeah, fair enough.
What else we got, Alex Media?
What is running trains?
Huh?
What's running trains?
Ooh.
What?
I don't want to see running trains.
Oh, man.
What the fuck, man?
Oh, you know, I saw this.
Justin Larry sent me this earlier.
Baby shit.
This only works on YouTube.
They can't see what we're watching right now.
Watch this last guy.
Oh, that's why Taylor sent that.
Because I said they all got to be running a train on that guy.
Now, if you don't. Come on.
No, this video is a bunch of paraplegics, right?
That's what you call them?
Not just me.
I think they're a bunch of disabled people, not paraplegics.

close to an agreement with several partners said the people who declined to be identified because
negotiations are sensitive and ongoing creators who do sign deals with netflix face consequences
youtube has said
according to the people youtube will be less likely to feature them in marketing campaigns
or at events if they release videos on netflix at the same time youtube would also exclude those
creators from collecting a share of proceeds from some major brand campaigns whoa whoa talk to me
charlotte what you thinking i think this is great for the games i'm one of the people who told y'all
years ago that you can't really build a business on youtube i think that you know
because of the way youtube can demonetize your content whenever they want to because of the way
youtube can suppress your content whenever they want to it just kind of makes whatever that
business is that you're trying to build on a stable youtube is the best but when it comes to
discovery reach you know when it comes to you know reach when it comes to um you know making
you a part of the algorithm to push your content the people who may not necessarily get it you know
they're the best but when i saw youtube do this and i saw the other features that they were doing
added to where now you don't even have to watch a certain amount of the video anymore as soon as
you click the video first frame it counts as a view and that's going to go towards monetization
i said oh they're making it more beneficial for the creator as they should why would they always
was a record label you motherfuckers would be screaming oh i'm sorry great okay right
mark that y'all would be screaming essay not to
even a okay y'all would be screaming great but if if it was you would be outraged at the amount of
profits that this company is receiving compared to its creators and let's be for real i mean so
much so that we go out and get our own advertisers you see what i'm saying like the advertisers that
you're seeing on the podcast are curated by our team like you know what i'm saying we have to find
a way now we're grateful for the ability to access all these people this audience connect with you
guys and no complaints about youtube
none we know we sign up 100 but we signed up not even thinking there was ever a way we could make
money off youtube like none of when we got into youtube there was all about reach and we're like
if we can reach the people maybe we can do something with our creative ideas that's right
but what i think is interesting to this to me is like the beauty of competition right to what you
were saying before about like you know you could people could talk shit about capitalism they could
talk shit about you know markets and this kind of stuff and yes there's tons of things that we have
to do but there's tons of things that we have to do but there's tons of things that we have to do but
there's tons of things that we have to do but there's tons of things that we have to do right now
there's so many people that feel strange from the economy they are right to feel that way
and there are things organized to probably make it so but netflix starting to pay youtubers
now all of a sudden youtubers are going well we can also pay some money you want facebook doing
this you want instagram but you want as many companies competing for your creative content
as possible because that's what makes you the most money because now you actually have another offer
you can compete again i mean listen amazon did it with mr beast you know what i'm saying amazon
rode the brink's truck up and mr beast had his reality show or whatever it was on amazon beast
games but he was still you know doing his youtube thing as well we just saw what netflix did with
podcasting yes who else just got into the podcasting game disney right disney just picked
up the jonas brothers podcast from from iheart so yeah i told y'all to go back and watch that
conversation i had with earn your leisure
i said y'all i'm watching all of these people you know say all of this shit about breakfast club
on netflix but you're not realizing how good this is going to be for the creator economy
because if we have success over here and these other podcasts have success over here
guess what everybody else is going to do it's just the obvious way things work and i'm not
sitting here tooting our own horn i'm just simply saying you know last time i checked
breakfast club made up 44 of all netflix's podcasting all of it all of it so thank you
breakfast club okay and by the way shout out to all the youtube creators who make their videos
about breakfast club and you know how breakfast club fell off because of netflix thank you you're
gonna make a lot more money now a lot more money saying that shit about us just say you're welcome
you should say you're fucking welcome no you should say you're welcome yeah no you i am i'm
you're welcome because you should say you're welcome to them you're welcome
because the reality of the situation is y'all made all of these videos
and all you did was push people
to go see what the fuck is going on on Netflix.
Oh, don't give away the secret sauce, man.
I tell them all the time,
love and hate works for you
because the algorithm don't know the difference.
I tell y'all that shit all the time
and I'm going to tell you something else.
I was reading Drewski's article in GQ
and Drewski was talking about how
he's got a scripted show coming
based off the pastor character he plays.
But he was like,
he's just going to do it on YouTube.
And I was like,
yo, that's actually dope.
Because he's already got two shows on YouTube now, right?
There could have been record shit
and then there could have been love.
He's invested all this money to do his own reality shows.
But then I saw this deal come out four days later
and I was like,
oh, YouTube about to drop Drewski off bad.
And listen, here's the reality.
Here's the reality of things.
Is that like,
the one reason why you don't see
high, high level scripted content
on YouTube,
is because you can't monetize it
given their current system
to the point where you can pay for it.
That's right.
It's like, let's just be very clear.
We're talking about,
if you're making even a movie
and you want to put it directly on YouTube,
I think they said Obsession,
which is like one of the cheapest movies ever made.
$750,000 to a million dollars is what they spent.
Right?
So like, that's for one,
we do a two hour podcast every single week.
It doesn't cost us a million dollars
to do it every single week.
But in order to make a movie,
you need to do it.
You need to generate a million dollars.
You know how many views you got to get
just to get a million dollars in ad rev?
Could you tell them the truth?
Because a lot of motherfuckers out here
for years have been lying about the money
that they're making.
And it fucks up the game.
A trillion views?
I don't know.
Like, 400 billion?
How much does that,
let's look that up.
How much does it cost to make a million dollars
off one video on YouTube?
Let's see.
Yeah, I mean, it's not one video
because over two hours
you could put a lot of different ads.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
How many views,
do you need
to make a million dollars
on YouTube?
That's a good one.
That's a good one.
Depends on RPM.
How much the creator actually receives
per 1,000 views.
100 million,
between 100 and 500 million views.
That's crazy.
And that's if you got a $2 RPM,
you need 500 million views.
They get a million dollars.
That's crazy.
That's crazy.
Yeah, listen, by the way,
you know, it's people that monetize
their content on YouTube
and they make a couple of dollars.
That's good for them.
But it's like,
there's a whole other way to make money, bro.
That's all I'm simply saying.
And shout out to YouTube.
YouTube is dope.
But I'm telling you,
the fact that Netflix,
Disney,
YouTube,
all of these,
these people are paying
the content creators,
the podcasters now.
And I'm going to tell you
what else is going to fuck the game up.
Let YouTube give Drewski a bag.
And then Drewski goes out there
and does what he knows
we're going to do,
make some really dope shit.
You're going to have all the creators
running the YouTube
to at least script it, right?
Maybe not movies quite yet,
but at least scripted shows.
You know why?
I don't got to deal with the notes.
Movies are cheap.
They are,
but it just depends
what the number is.
It takes so much money, bro.
It takes so much money,
so much time.
Just think about one TV show,
if it's an hour an episode
and eight episodes,
that's eight hours.
So that's basically four movies.
Yeah.
It's just expensive.
But I hear you.
But I don't got to,
imagine I don't got to deal
with the notes.
Imagine I can just create
some dope shit.
I already got a fucking audience
on YouTube
and YouTube is just like,
yo, here's $50 million.
Just stay with us
for the next three years.
So what will happen,
there'll be the first iteration
of that
and that will be fire.
And then one of those shows
is going to get in trouble
for a sketch.
And then YouTube
is going to be held liable
because they're like,
you're paying for this,
therefore it's your content.
It's not just being uploaded
to your service.
You're co-signing this.
And then all of a sudden,
there'll be like a notes provision
where they'll probably have to
make sure that you're content.
Okay, well now it's no fun no more.
No, but what I'm saying is,
right now you're in the window.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Right now this is potentially
early stages of the internet again,
but with payment.
Yes.
Remember when we were uploading shit?
Yes.
Much to maybe our problem.
Yes.
You know, there was no words
you couldn't say,
no anything.
Yes, that's right.
And listen, for all of you people,
follow the money.
If you don't think podcasts
are doing well on Netflix,
then ask yourself
why YouTube getting in the game like this.
Ask yourself why Disney
getting in the game like this.
And listen, all I ever try to do
is come on, you know, the podcast
and give y'all actual facts
and actual numbers.
And, you know, I like to read articles.
Of course they don't.
They just want to feel good.
They don't.
Nobody cares about the truth
and the lies more entertaining.
They want their narratives, man.
Exactly.
Whatever they feel,
they just want you to tell them they're right.
Whatever they feel.
Speaking of which,
I need you fucking YouTube journalists.
YouTube fucking journalists.
I need y'all.
I want to hear y'all talking about this,
YouTube journalists.
This is Attorney General.
This is Attorney General James Uffmeyer.
As Florida's Attorney General,
I enforce our laws
to protect consumers
from illegal schemes
that take their money.
Companies are operating
online casinos
that are illegal under Florida law.
Sites like Stagos run by VGW
market themselves as sweepstakes
or social casinos.
No.
But they offer real gambling.
You're like a pitbull, man.
Slots, blackjack, and poker.
Unlock the jaw.
They've raked in hundreds of millions of dollars
What?
from people in our state.
No.
These websites
do not follow the safeguards
or provide consumer protections
that are required of licensed casinos
under Florida law.
We filed lawsuits
against the operators of these sites
along with their financial facilitators
and promoters.
The promoters?
We're seeking to recover
every dollar consumers lost
under Florida's gambling recovery laws
and we will hold them accountable
under our consumer protection laws
for their deceptive claims.
What?
These companies cannot
hide illegal gambling
behind a sweepstakes label.
Thank you.
Nah, that's AI.
That's AI.
That's AI.
That's AI.
It says,
Florida AG sues stake
VGW over sweepstakes casino operations.
That's gotta be AI.
Can you YouTube journalists
get on your job?
I just want all the YouTube journalists
to get on their job
and tell me
if this is AI or not, bro.
Florida AG sues stake
over what?
Over. Sweepstakes casino operations?
I don't know, bro.
That's kind of crazy.
Damn, bro.
He's on the Roc Nation payroll, too?
He might.
I think he gotta be, right?
He might be on that payroll.
He might be on Roc Nation payroll.
That's crazy.
That's kind of crazy, yo.
Let me look and see
if I see any signs.
Let me look.
I ain't looking
in the background of the video.
I don't know.
All I'm saying,
I just want the YouTube journalists
to get on their job, okay?
I want to. Can the YouTube journalists
get on their job?
I think Charlamagne
has 48 hours in a day, man.
I don't know where you. I know.
I know.
I don't know where you get the time.
I'm envious of you.
We just partied!
But you got the time
for it all.
I'm just partying!
You know what
the Florida Attorney General
is doing.
Listen, this shit came across
my motherfucking algorithm, okay?
It was in my algorithm.
What you want me to do?
God bless you.
God bless you.
What you want me to do, man?
Speedy Mormon
reads Dre. Who the fuck is Dre, baby?
I don't know.
I'm not. I don't want to see.
This is one of the shit
Taylor put in there.
Do you have a girlfriend?
No.
Are you in an apartment?
Yes.
So, the things that you're telling me,
I definitely thank you for that.
I appreciate that.
And hearing all of that
come from you,
do you have art on your walls?
No.
Is that carpet probably a little musty?
Yes.
Do you have water bottles
and garbage littered
around your 500 square foot apartment?
Yes.
Is that muumuu a size 6X?
Yes.
Are your gums bigger than they should be?
Yes.
Are your sideburns darker
than your contour?
Yes.
And again,
the fact that this is a judgment
free zone for both of us
means a lot to me.
Speed, no shade.
Take the gum thing back.
That's really fucking sensitive
right now.
This inflamed my gums.
Yeah, they on fire.
Sure.
You know how like
you're coming like 2%?
You have like 2% teeth,
98% gums.
That ain't right.
No shade, Speedy.
I know for a fact
you're having a fine,
but that's just crossing.
Now you're going too far.
Are you married?
See, here's the thing.
Once again,
Speedy is one of the slick,
he's a slick, shady individual.
Okay.
Because he does all of that
with a smile on his face.
Yeah.
If I would have just smiled
a lot more,
you did.
Yeah, he did.
You did.
Yeah, he did.
That was your charm.
That's what you would do.
You would do this
and say the craziest shit ever.
Really?
Yeah, you were never angry.
No.
Once you're angry, you lose.
Once you're angry,
you fucking lose, man.
You're smiling, you're having fun.
Don't ever get angry.
You're right.
You're absolutely right.
Once you get angry, you lose.
Shout out to fucking Speedy, man.
I like Speedy a lot.
Speedy's dope.
Apple putting cameras in AirPods.
Why?
You know what they need to do
with AirPods?
Make it so when I drop my case,
they don't go like 300 feet
from my case.
Yes.
If I, what it,
do you know what I'm talking about?
No, I don't have AirPods.
Have you seen this?
Yeah, every time you drop it,
and then they just like fly everywhere.
And I think it's on purpose
so that you got to buy a new one.
Because there's no reason
that they should go,
a fuckin' football field
field away from the case but don't they got to make them easy for you to pull out so if they
make them any tighter it'll be harder for you just to whip them out make it tighter bro i'm tired of
looking under my fucking bed halfway through the room like i knock it over looking for some water
nightstand yeah um why would you put a camera in the uh yeah why do you need a camera in your
airpod why do we need cameras in the glasses it's too many cameras guys bro i hate that shit yo
i think wearing them ray-ban glasses should be illegal yo this is what i don't get they're okay
well i mean there's a huge difference between this obviously like you don't want like a tyrannical
regime having access to cameras that are following us around i get it i'm not making that comparison
but like i don't want civilians being able to film me whatever the fuck they want with their
glasses i'm not even aware of the conversation you know what's so funny you just said you don't
want a tyrannical regime following you around we're all under surveillance anyway big brother's
been a thing i know like you know we've been under surveillance we just watched a whole bunch of
in and out of sewers and i still i still don't want it but it's there there's nothing you can do but
i feel like we're being watched right now we are by people on the internet bro you know what's so
crazy youtube thank you i feel i got a sneaky suspicion there might be people watching this
right now with five cameras in the room you know what's going on here i'm sitting on my balcony the
other night flex my boy and i went in the motherfucking house i'm saying you might be
digging in your ass i was i was on my fucking balcony the other night and i said i told my
let's go in the house because i i think about like the drones and by the way shit like that
has happened like drones fly over your house try to take pictures of your property and shit like
that you know what i mean you just never fucking know but you know what that drone shit is with
the picture of the property what that's so that you don't build some shit that you didn't ask
permission to do that you didn't ask permission to do that you didn't ask permission to do that
for that's lazy that that's that's motherfuckers who do that shit take the videos and then put
them up online on those stupid properties yes but they also do do that like the hoas will have a
drone going around to make sure you put a tennis court up without getting like proper you know
yeah what is it called permission from the state like they're crazy about that bro i the other day
a deer i'll show you the picture look at this shit my wife sent me this shit the other day
a fucking deer walked up to the kitchen window and was just staring in that shit right yeah but
that's normal right no no why do you have a fence yeah but that's normal chinese spyware let me see
that chinese fucking spyware bro get the fuck out of here that's chinese fucking spyware bro
get the fuck out of here that little pizza oven back there
no i wish i wanted brick house pizza that looks like a little brick house piece what is that back
there it's a fireplace but i'm getting i'm getting that toy this is lovely like i love this great
foliage the landscaping listen man open loose privets and shout out to the ones that ain't got
the portage yet we appreciate you yo shout out the boxwoods down here this is lovely work charla
hey shout out to nicole white but oh the sunken sink to whatever that's called chinese spyware bro
yeah you think that's a chinese guy
some rich motherfuckers you don't think look how that motherfucker's looking in there bro
uh what makes you think we're rich as he's telling me about a deer
walking up to his kitchen yeah and you know what all the fucking foliage and all this shit like
come on son the guy's got taste yeah he's got taste stay separate stay separate that's it
bro it's just taste yeah show me more pictures of the uh property
you don't think this is a fucking spy oh dude bro look how this deer is looking
not dear bro and they won't have a like something that big
right now they're already putting cameras and like flies and stuff they'll have what's familiar
to the area you know what i'm saying because you won't expect you won't suspect nothing of it no
they put it in dogs
all right man
because you would because you wouldn't you wouldn't
suspect it right there's no way you would suspect it right like if a dog came up and did
that you would just think it was a dog that was let loose in the neighborhood right you yes or no
that's how the smart they are no hell no i wouldn't yeah you see you see yeah let's um
let's pay some bills what is this one
the perfect lunch combo that first by
of your favorite sub followed by ice cold pepsi add a couple of friends and now that's next level
suddenly the laughs get louder the stories keep flowing and the food tastes better because pepsi
brings out more flavor more fun and more of the moment food deserves pepsi grab a pepsi zero sugar
today let's do some asking idiots man
oh
And it's all anonymous says if you were tasked with creating humans what would you change
anything that would create a superiority complex anything that would allow us to get rid of the caste systems and i don't mean you know everybody would be one color that's silly what i mean is that whatever
creates
biases
, prejudices, jealousy, envy, and this constant want for more i think i would change i don't even know if you need to change humans for that though i just think you need to change the systems around humans
but would you do that same thing for attractiveness
yeah
so like now everybody's equally attractive
no i wouldn't because once again i i'm i i said you you know i'm not going to change anything that would create the caste system would create the caste system was race i would just change people's mindsets like this wouldn't even be a physical thing for me like i would try to take away like i said things that create biases the prejudices whatever that thing is internally mentally emotionally that makes you look at somebody else and get jealous or envious i would want to change that
yeah
physical like now i want everybody to look the same i mean i want everybody to look different i want everybody to have their different appearances and everything but you don't want those things to be valued by one another yes especially if they create animosity or make you feel like you know i'm superior to the next person but like somebody finding somebody more attractive creates a superiority complex
but a taller person certain color hair but i mean that just means i want to fuck you you said attractive right yeah but now we have a different hierarchy like it was a different caste system if you will but that's what i mean that's why i would get rid of all of that like i would get rid of if i saw a person that was tall with a nice nice long dreadlocks like i wouldn't be jealous and envious of that person like whatever that is that makes you man why the fuck i don't have that that that comparison where i would get rid of that that's what i would change
what about you
i think just bigger tits like all right man what's like you know what's what's what's the next one give everybody a little bigger tits even guys yeah nobody's mad at you want everybody walking around here like flame and roll yes that's crazy
yes um lucky you central said what's the character trait that you see
that this new generation is missing i don't even understand this new generation i'm i'm completely
out of loss i hear the things they complain about and it's like they're lonely but they're the most
connected they've ever been they can't be in relationships but they're have more access to
people than anybody in human history has ever had access to like i i the things i do like the
economic struggles that they're going through i do understand and empathize that and i understand
the existential doom of like whether josh be gone because of ai but like in terms of like the
loneliness thing you always keep hearing it's like i there's a part of me that wonders like
have you know when you start talking about mental illness like eventually people start seeing the
things that they have and that's good because they recognize it but then the people who don't
really have anything are trying to manifest it yeah and i wonder if we've like told men they're
lonely so much that now they're starting to like look for their loneliness i think people are lonely
i agree with everything you said just now i think that they're lonely because of social media
they don't they don't know how to make real human connection think about when you was young how many
friends did you really need you have a few friends that's you don't even need that yeah you and one
person you're good do it y'all gonna get a basketball going to court all day long that's it
you know what i'm saying and because we didn't have social media either to prop us up or tear
us down every day because whether these people realize it or not they go on social media to get
these dopamine hits they need social media to boost them up that's why so many people
care about the court of public opinion online more than they do real life because you didn't
need that guess what else you develop schultz you never felt lonely yeah you always had
you yeah you know what i'm saying i'm never by myself i'm with myself yeah that's that's an
interesting i feel all the time i'm never i'm never myself we were forced to do that so then
we did get to connect with our friends it felt special it was eat and it felt good you know
think about how many and i watch all of us in this room do this in real time we're comfortable
with ourselves so we're at home and we're thinking about things and we're writing things down then
you know what you do like a fucking regular person yo charlamagne you got a few moments
yo shows you got a few moments or it's a tech it's something we're having conversation
alio you think what you think about this like we're sharing information that's what you do
when you have real human connections with people and i'm not home at alone wondering where is
everybody i'm at home alone with me and now i'm like all right let me go find somebody to share
this you're so right you're so right but what i think has happened is they think that that's not
the norm because they've only existed in a time where there was so much connectivity that's right
so
now like what we were kids when we were alone we didn't also have a phone where we were scrolling
everybody was together and then you start to feel alone because you're comparing yourself that's
right right so the thing that it's like they think that they're lonely because they don't have a
baseline of loneliness you know what i mean yeah like we spent way more time alone way more fucking
time alone than they ever you couldn't just go on a video game and talk to a hundred different
people in a hundred different countries you couldn't turn on the screen and start talking
to thousands of people
bro when we were kids you know you call your friend and hope someone heard the phone yeah
you know you hope they were maybe there like there was no so so there was a gratitude it's
even with the dating culture that exists now it's like there's so many different opportunities right
it's like that analysis paralysis shit it's like being on netflix so it's like where you're like
looking for something but you can't choose when we were growing up you had the girls in your high
school maybe the high school down a block you knew all the kind of girls that and granted we were in
new york city so it's a very different situation but i imagine where you grew up you knew all the
cute girls that were around your age so if you ended up with one you were like yo i'm fucking
lucky bro like there's dudes out here that can't get any of these girls and that's the only girls
absolutely no so i i think that there's a lot of that going on i think there's a lot of that going
on where like nobody has also told them how fortunate and lucky they are they've just been fed
how victimized they are and they're believing
it yeah so i think what we're saying is the character trait that we see this new generation
missing is confidence maybe yeah sure confidence or gratitude confidence gratitude that's another
one and also perspective like perspective on how disconnected you could actually be yeah i don't
think yeah i'm with you the internet fucks you up internet fucks everybody having fun and living
their best life and then you're not having a great day it feels worse i think you nailed it though
the baseline is off the baseline the baseline is off i think with integrity
too because if you're willing to do anything to uh fill that void of loneliness yeah you know what
i mean if you're willing to say anything to fill that void of loneliness like i think yeah so
confidence integrity because i don't feel like you should just be able to get online and just
lie like that shouldn't be so easy for you you know what i mean you got one attention you're
gonna get it yeah well i mean i don't think that that is what you should do but like that is what
no i'm with you we also live in a different attention economy like there wasn't an attention
economy back in the day oh lucky you you're right it just didn't exist that rewards you that
monetizes it no you're right yeah you couldn't you couldn't get attention you could only get
attention from your friends maybe if you were lucky you were able to audition for something
and then get on you had to have a skill bro like you did like even in the past you had to have a
school i ain't even talking about the entertainment business yeah in school you had to do something
bro yeah like what's some jokes like yeah i mean do you play basketball are you the smartest kid
in the class like what do you do like we used to arm wrestle dumb wrestle everything was about
yo we wonder why we debate everything everything was about competition pencil we used to pencil
fight bro yeah everything was about actual competition everything um another it's a good
one from lucky you central is ai the death of art and literature absolutely not not even close no
it's not even it's actually a it's the opposite yeah it's a tool that's gonna make you create
more art and literature my only issue with ai don't let ai be your brain you know um my biggest
issue with ai early on was that we already live in an era where you can't tell the difference
between what's real and what's fake yeah and that's still my issue but when it comes to like
the arts entertainment things like that just don't let
ai be your actual brain if you're a joke writer keep writing those jokes and if you can you know
if ai can help you strengthen them or like find new povs and stuff cool if you're an animator
continue to draw put your stuff in ai and let ai animate it for you right like that's that's that's
a tip that i've been hearing from a lot of my animator friends like they they draw and then
drop it in ai in this cartoon they've
always wanted to make it's it's there now but it's them that's actually doing the drawing you
want to do stuff like that don't let a fucking ai write your whole book bro that's just silly
no you know let you let the ai proofread stuff for you let the ai you know tell you hey let's
move this out a little bit do shit like that yeah um big fella underscore meek says unc are you adding
more names to the legendary last names honorable mentions now i'm a pinkett smith went from nose
carter wow still
still still still still pinkett smith but i mean i got mad honorable mentions though i got clarence
avon that's my you know that's the you're still starting with pinkett smith pinkett smith went
from nose carter bro starting with it that's my name pinkett smith went from nose carter i can't
run from the last name just because he had a couple rough years even even the pinkett part
even the pinkett part more so the pinkett part more so the pinkett part y'all gonna stop acting
like jayden not a whole lot
gangsta out here okay i'm sick of this shit stop acting like jayden not a whole gangsta out here in
these streets yo jayda fucking pinkett bro drop on the clues button for jayda motherfucking pinkett
all right y'all thought set it off it's just a movie um rico underscore eva says would you
rather have batman try and protect you from iron man or vice versa now this is some good shit here
this is some good shit here i got iron man over that iron man
all right i got iron man over batman i got iron man break it down break it down why
tony starks even though he was a billionaire's kid has a grittiness
you know what i'm saying batman bruce wayne don't have the grittiness yes he does
nah he don't he comes off a lot more privileged than tony starks does you know and i got a theory
bro i got a theory about batman that nobody's ever explored though especially being that we
live in this world now and we know how allegedly evil billionaires are how do we know gotham
isn't the revolt towards the billionaires how do we know all of those people locked up in arkham
who are fighting against the bruce waynes of the motherfucking world mom donnie got and so
decides to put on this batman costume run around with a little treat
little treat you know what a little treat is right
oh my god don't put that on hear me out that's crazy hear me out billionaire
batman clearly would have been in the epstein files if this was a real thing
right if he was a real person running around with his little teen sidekick okay that wasn't
wasn't able to do anything right never really did anything if we're being completely honest
was just there to probably relieve a little pressure right how do we know
that the fucking villains in gotham weren't the regular everyday citizens who revolted against
the bruce wayne that's what i'm saying batman clearly would have been in the epstein files if this
the motherfucking rich how do we know that okay let me uh tack something onto that
what if they didn't revolt against the rich but what if bruce wayne was secretly funding them
in effort to break down the city so that he could buy it up at a much cheaper price
capitalism consolidate all the businesses under
wayne enterprise enterprises at a much cheaper rate nobody actually wants to live in the city
there's criminals everywhere so they're actually criminals thinking they're doing the criminal shit
and then on top of that he does the heroic thing where he cleans up the people that he was actually
supporting in the first place now he's consolidated power in the city right the police are working for
him they pretty much know what's going on and he has a connection with the police but he's created
the problem and the solution you're probably right nobody ever talks about the wealth and
gap in gotham has anybody ever stopped to think what is the wealth gap in gotham why are all of
these people committing all of these crimes why are they always robbing shit
Why are they always trying to do something to get some extra fucking cash?
Most Batman villains were robbing shit for money.
Why?
Because motherfuckers like Bruce Wayne then sucked up all the resources.
Nobody talks about that.
Rob Markman: That might be it.
Rob Markman: Nobody talks about that.
You know why they haven't put Robin in none of the movies?
Rob Markman: Because Robin knows.
Rob Markman: Too dark.
Rob Markman: Yeah, it is kind of dark.
Rob Markman: It's like a Greek mathematician.
It is weird.
He gets a new Robin every couple of years.
Rob Markman: Every couple of years.
That's a little sus.
Rob Markman: And what was the first Robin's name?
Look it up.
I don't even want to say it out loud.
I want you to look it up.
What was the first Robin's name?
Jeffree?
Rob Markman: No.
What was his name?
Jeffree, you're the best.
Rob Markman: You're the best.
You're the best.
You're the best.
You're the best.
You're the best.
I'll see you next time.
