Like, you would agree, right? It's, like, a different side than you would see of me online or on TikTok. It's very different, but it should be. If it was the same side of you online, then we'd have a problem. I know, but, like, I'm scared for people to be, like, "Oh, my God. She's a bitch." I actually did not think you came off as a bitch at all. Did you think she came off as a bitch? I didn't watch it. In the moment where you, like, she's a bitch? Well, I always think Alex is a bitch. She's my sister. Yeah. But the thing is, like, you know what's crazy is you -- I think I had, like -- I just didn't know what filming a reality show was like before we actually started. Like, I had such a different idea in my head. I thought it was just, like, I don't know, like, cameras rolling all the time, 24/7. Like, we were kind of fitting it into our schedule. Which I think I would do differently next time. Like, I think I would, like, clear off three months and just only film. And be like, "Camera's up. 24/7." Because we were like, "Oh, okay. We'll film this weekend. We'll film this weekend." So, it was, like, pretty jumpy. And in the beginning, I was so nervous. Like, I think the first, like, few episodes, I don't think I smile or speak. I feel like I remember you were kind of awkward, and I was really surprised. I'm telling you, I'm the worst on the show. Like, everyone in my family shines, and I'm, like, the worst. I don't think that's true at all. I was just so nervous in the beginning. Like, it was scary. And the first thing we filmed was, like, the breakup and moving out of Braxton's. And that was, like, a really, really hard moment for me. And I was like, "Oh, my God." And there's, like, 10 camera people here staring at me, like, sobbing and snotting. So, that was, like, it just took a second to get used to, I guess. Yeah. But by the end, you were, like, free crying. You were not scared to cry. I cried the whole season. Yeah. But, like, it felt to me different than your content. A lot different. I know. That's what I'm scared about. Wait. Why? It should be the. In my mind, it should be the opposite. If it's the same. Yeah. If it's the same thing as your content, then it. All it takes is for one person to turn it on and be, like, "Well, I guess I could just watch it on TikTok." Right. But, like, I'm just afraid of people hearing me, like, complain and, like. That's, like. Whatever. I don't care. It's funny. It makes you relatable. Everyone complains. How was Europe? That was the best two weeks of my life, I think. Ugh. I know. I know. I know. Like, I really needed that as a reset. I was like, "Okay, I'm gonna move there." I. Alex kept saying. You weren't at dinner the other night. Alex kept saying, like, "Okay, like, we could do Italy." I'm like, "Alex, you're not buying property in Italy." What if we did? I mean, Alex, the way you would call me at 7:00 a.m. and you'd be at a party, and you're like, "You have to come. Everyone's asking for you every day." And I, like, couldn't come. It's just better there. Everyone's better. The guys are better. The guys are better, aren't they? Mm-hmm. Yeah. Like, they just don't make them like that here. What do you mean? Like, they're just more forward. Yeah. I feel like they're more, like, outgoing. And, like, sexy. They are more forward. Like, they don't care. Like, they are just. I just like how they. Like, guys here won't, like, just go up to you and be like, "You're beautiful." They, like, want you to go. Yeah. In Europe, it's like. They, like, don't play games. Yeah. They're like, "Oh, you very beautiful girl." Yeah. "You're sexy. You're beautiful." "Fuck me." Yeah. And you're like, "All right." Yeah. I love it. I wish that the cameras were up. I wish the cameras were up in Europe. Oh, my God. I don't. Oh, my gosh. It was so great, though. I mean, I, like, had a really good time. I told you. I know. Yeah. You've had a good summer. You've had the. You've had a great summer. And you had a. You had an unenjoyable summer last summer. Wait. What did I do last summer? No, no, no. Was it us that had a bad summer last summer? I didn't leave my bedroom last summer. I was severely depressed. Last summer was bad for us. I remember I called Ashton every day, being like, "I hate my life." And Ashton was like, "You guys are so. " Like, "All you do is complain." I would literally lay in bed every day. Not move. Ashton was depressed last summer. Yeah. It's because we were having a. We were having, like, a come-down from brat summer. Yeah. This was the best summer. So then it was like, "Oof. Like, this summer's just never gonna be that good." Yeah. And then I completely outdid brat summer this summer. I know. You did. I honestly had a great summer, too. You did. And I didn't even do Europe. Do you feel like you had a summer? Yes, you did. I felt like my summer kind of started and ended, like, at. Well, okay. It was that. Our Monaco weekend into the Knicks weekend. I forgot about that. Best week of my life. I forgot that started our summer. That started our summer, which makes me feel a part of the summer in some way, because that did start it and I was there for that. You would have had. I know. I missed out on a lot of trips this year. Ashton, what do you have to tell us about your summer? I've had a great summer. Oh, yeah. What do you have to tell us about your summer? I feel like I've made a lot of new friends, and. Like anyone in particular? No. Okay. Every time I go to drink I laugh. It's just hard because it's like. You know what I will say is I felt like I made a lot of new friends this summer. A lot of new friends. Me too. I made a lot of friends. This was the summer of making new friends. I think I ventured out of my comfort zone. I feel like I got more social. You got way more social. I was. You've done a complete 180 this year. And I think because everyone was like, "Oh my God, every time I meet you, I think you are such a bitch." Because I don't speak. Because I am afraid. You're shy. You're shy. I think when I meet people, they don't want to meet me. So I just don't. Wait. What do you mean by that? I think when I'm meeting people in my head, I'm like, "They don't want to be talking to me." Oh, they're like, "They don't give a fuck about you." So then I get awkward and don't say anything. But now I'm better. You're a shy person. I will say when we first met, we weren't shy. You weren't shy. I went right up to your room and we had the best night ever. Because you were having a panic attack. So I had to be like, "Okay." Totally. What else was new? What was new that you visited in Europe? Honestly, Sardinia was really pretty. Yeah. It was beautiful there. Especially after we got out of Ibiza, which felt like, at the end of it, like a black hole. I mean, how long were you in Ibiza? Zombieland. Eight days. Oh my God. What? I think that was not good. Did you go out every night? Yes. One night I took off and it was like, I went on a little dinner date, but that was not partying. But then we did go to a party, but only for 30 minutes. Okay. Is there anything on the show that you're like, "I wish I said this, I wish I didn't say this"? Well, I think looking back now, even in some of my. Because how we did our interviews, which is like the confessionals, we did it throughout the season. And one, I just wish I put on some makeup and blew out my hair for them. So they were like, "We want it to be really chill, you're sitting on the couch, natural." And then I'm looking at it on the big screen and I'm like, "Oh my gosh, maybe not." But we would film them throughout. So I think I could have been there. I could have been maybe a little bit more comfortable. I was more comfortable towards the end, I would say. But you forget, and in the moment it feels so scary because you film a conversation for like an hour. So you think that everything is going to be in there and you get out every single point and it's like there's a minute or maybe two minutes of the conversation that actually makes it into the show. So I think that was also stressing me out too, of I could not even possibly get all my points across if I wanted to, because it's all going to get cut out. And even things that we filmed, there was, Braxton and I filmed this, which I told you about this before, but we filmed this Valentine's Day campaign for SITMARDS. I remember this. What happened to that? He ended up not wanting to do it anymore after we did it. So we filmed the whole thing and we also filmed it for the show. talking about it it wasn't like done for the show but was he mic'd up like was he on the show no okay um but we were doing this valentine's day campaign which when braxton and i broke up we were like very amicable very good and we came up with this idea and i was like this would be so fun and we're both investors and sit margs and like it'll be great but basically the idea was like break up with bad margs and it looks like we're breaking up with each other but we end up breaking up with the margs whatever it was like so it's like a split screen and it's alex and braxton talking and they're like i just don't think this is working i don't think this is data i don't think and then you zoom out and it's like it looks like we were talking to each other breaking up with each other but when you zoom out we're like not in the same booth like i'm talking to like a bad margarita and so is he and it was just it was all my idea and it was so phenomenal and then it ended up not going through last minute but that was something we filmed for the show of like talking about like you behind the scenes after of like oh my gosh this isn't going live and what are we gonna do and now like that didn't make it in the show that didn't make it in the show you guys fought a bunch on the show did we should i watch it i'm like scared how do you not you i like i'm too scared to watch it you should you got in a fight about a few i'm about to fight her because she told me she was gonna bring me one of those shirts well i made these shirts she had another one that said no comment legally and i was gonna wear it i how good is that wait it's cute your sisters i wanted to have my own moment sorry so we fought a lot on the show a little like you like you fought about her staying with you and then you fought about when she leaked um you know you thought you thought when you she leaked the real actives which in the moment i actually don't even want to talk about it okay like we could talk about it but like don't ask who's right or who's wrong because i'm gonna freak out you think you're right still no she thinks it's not that big of a deal it was the full bottle it wasn't it was like half a second of me like with the full bottle did anyone in the comments catch it no it was up for like one minute and she lost her bazongas on me she screamed you could have handled it more nicely i couldn't have screamed i was texting you you were texting in all caps i was about to say when you um pretend to look for another manager on the show with your dad did he fully buy into that or did he like oh oh because i could read it on his face that like he thought this was real he was purple i've never seen my dad that worried in his life are you nervous for the show to come out i'm terrified i was really nervous and now i've decided to just like let go and let god it's happening it's out like it's already happening what am i gonna do nothing this is a good time for us to move to europe that's what i said we could go in september and go away for no what i think you should do is cameras up immediately cameras up for reactions like cameras up for reactions like cameras up for reactions up immediately now because like the reaction to it is going to be interesting you talk about a lot that you do not speak about online yeah you don't publicly say anything about like you're like you'll be like you'll say things like i'm upset i'm going through it i broke up but you don't you really get into it on the show i know that's why it's scary but we tried to just like trust the process a little bit i mean i don't know if i should say this either but like when we were filming and i was like hanging out with someone and they would like always like want me to like talk about it i do think like i can expose myself but there's like a point when it comes to like other people that like i don't want to expose their privacy are you nervous about that no okay i feel like you were nervous now i'm like like i should have just like spoke in the moment you were nervous i do remember that you were really but can i be honest that's not really a is braxton your breakup with him moving on from him you figuring out what you want to do i still don't know you want a model i loved that storyline really yeah was it like weird and no it's what you wanted to do it's what you want to do i think it's so sweet like you're so sweet in the show and i'm really i feel like i'm weird and annoying and gross what why do you think that i don't know every single one of you is so concerned about how you come off in the show and it's really insane to me like sally was freaking the fuck out i don't know why sally's freaking out what's sally like in the show great she's just your best friend quiet on the creek like isn't that supposed to be a secret for the show i think that's a secret okay that's a secret for the show sorry bleep it but cut it keep the sh because that was funny i think going back and like looking back at the beginning of filming and it felt like i was always like in defense mode because like i'm so used to having full control over like my content and what i put out and that's just like how i've always done things i don't even have anyone that helps me with like my socials like i just like to do it all myself and so i think like stepping into something else where i'm like oh my gosh like they have full control over all this stuff and i'm like putting so much trust and intimate moments of my life like in the hands of other people felt so scary so i felt like i was always like on defense in the beginning and then i feel like you just have to kind of like trust the process and let go and like that was something that happened with the alex cooper stuff is like in the beginning they were like we want to talk about this like whatever and i was like i i told production i was like i'm not talking about this at all like first of all it's irrelevant that was like a year or two ago at this point and i was just like i'm not talking about it i don't want to like there's no point in bringing this up and then after coachella when everything like unfolded it just like happened to be a part of the moment of when we were filming so i was like i'm just gonna like go for it and lean into it and i did but i think like i don't know that's like also something that stresses me out a lot that i'm like i don't even want to deal with it and like i don't even care i think it's just like that is a tough moment i'm happy like we captured and we're able to like get the behind the scenes of all the feelings and stuff but it's like it's over jake you're in the show right i'm in the show i'm in the show with the russian russian center that was crazy yeah it just like got complicated was complicated got more complicated wasn't like just wasn't a good working relationship i could put out new episodes but they were still under unwell so they were still like getting the monetization from that and she couldn't and i couldn't own it myself and they were in no rush really to hand it back to me because they they wanted me to like sign a ndi like release agreement with had an ndi so we were a little complicated of how we parted so that's why i said i was like i'm not gonna say anything i'm not gonna say that they dropped me i'm just gonna like keep my mouth quiet and i just said i'm gonna start vlogging like for right now it was basically like a strike for my podcast i was like until we figure out how to do this and like i don't want to keep putting out episodes for you guys even though the public thinks i'm not with you which was like so confusing at the time i was and was like i'm gonna put my podcast on pause i'm gonna do vlogs and all the comments went crazy of like uh alex must have not given you something back like yada yada yada matt texted me and was like said something rude and then and then alex went on tiktok and was like this is a lie alex earl owns all her whatever i know it's a story all the rights to her thing and then the next morning they miraculously like handed everything back to me and he had emailed me being like we were trying to give this to you for weeks and it was like okay so but honestly your vlogs are so much better yeah i honestly hated the podcast remember when i had to do it with you that was so bad but it was like i don't i think it just like i got into it from like just not the right like i you don't feel this way from your podcast i felt drained after like six months i was like oh my god like i feel like i'm exploiting every part of my life in like a way i don't want to and like even just to try to get talking about like story other people and other things just to have like a good story and like i was like i don't know like another like part of my life i can share that like i felt like empty like is the only way i can explain i was like i feel like i'm just like exposing myself to like get some views on this and that was not like what i wanted and then i also didn't really want to interview people and i like suck at that so i was like that's not an option and then i was like ashton you're gonna podcast with me and then we both talking and connecting with people and like when i did get to share like the vulnerable moments in my life i loved it but it just like started from such like i just had the wrong mindset with it like even going into it um alex was like don't uh get a boyfriend braxton she was like don't date him because like it's going to be more entertaining to be single and like podcast so you could talk about your dating life and your sex life and i was like i don't want to talk about that online so like dating sure but sex no and i just think i like taught maybe like not the best habits for it and like it just was like wasn't a well-oiled machine in the beginning there was just like a lot of a lot of things um well i just remember you came to do my show for the first time and you saw nolan and you said who is that and i said well alex that's my podcast producer i said i don't have one of those what do you mean you don't have one of those you said what do you mean like i when i did alex's Podcast, she was like, we're like literally like on the, ground she literally would like carry three microphones or cameras i don't know i was giving them 50 to just hand me the cameras and do it even the setup i had in my room i had to like set up all the cameras in my college bedroom and yeah i remember i went to europe and i was there with like i think it was like josh richards and gabby and i was like showing them like how i was lugging around this suitcase for my cameras and they were like what are you doing i was like really like you don't do this i'm so confused because does barstool give josh like do they like sure there's a camera crew and studio right i'm tired of beating the goddamn dead horse like i would like to move on let's move on let's move on to be cheers to moving on yeah cheers to moving on cheers to moving on you have a crush i'm having a little crush and i really like like it i like it too i've never met them i like it too and it makes me sick to my stomach really what does it feel like to have a crush like i'm having anxiety because i feel like i'm having a real crush and what is that why does that give you anxiety because that's scary because of i like to be alone you really it's just easier that way why do you find that to be easier because like then you can't get your feelings hurt like i get like anxious so it's a defense thing yeah of course okay i understand that you know you get anxious like what if i don't know something happens and then i'm upset can i say how i view that like i'm like oh great i can relate to more sad music true do you know i because you know i was never like you were never a big swifty okay no or just sad music in general like i was like turn it the fuck off like i don't want to feel this way all of a sudden now it's like if you go to my recently played it's just like all the most depressing music you could find and like who's like sienna spiro i'm like oh who's like sienna god like pure i love putting in my headphones looking out the window pretending like i'm in a movie oh my god isn't it the best yes and i'm like i feel sick to my stomach like sad music makes me feel have you heard the new well girl we got to get you there have you heard the new phoebe bridgers album no i've heard clips of it of the one song my god she's not ready for that i love it i don't know she's ready for that she might be cheers to that there was a point this year where i was on all too well 10 minute version oh that was a great time for you that was really bad like you had a dark time oh and you know what's another thing about this show that may have been like i don't want to say like the darkest period of my life that's a little dramatic but like that was the most like not like myself that i felt and to the point where when we filmed and then we took like a month break or so and then i came back and i filmed more like confessionally and then i was like oh my god i'm like oh my god i'm like oh my god i'm like oh my god i'm like oh my god i'm like oh my god i'm like oh my god i'm like oh my god the producers were like huh they were like i've never seen you like this like i've never seen you like so funny and giggly and whatever like i'm telling you like i was like a sad mean angry little witch while we were filming like i was i was so stressed out i didn't want to go out i didn't want to go out i didn't like anything like i i just wasn't happy and so yeah great that we had cameras up we also like started filming in january and i remember the producers called me before we started filming and they were like so like tell me about what's going on in your personal life and i was like i haven't like left the house in weeks like i don't have a personal people like not want to watch it's okay no the show was amazing first of all and my favorite episode besides the one that i'm in because that one's a great one is episode eight yeah episode eight is i think i like the last episode the final scene of episode eight the entire oh i've seen that when we were watching it got up and screamed oh i'm so excited it was just cinema i can't even watch like it was just it's also like you know what's crazy about it is like i'm watching it and i'm like holy fuck like i'm so stressed out for her like that was like actually like there were so many moments during the show that i was like i literally like don't want to be doing this in front of the cameras right now but like i'm just gonna like pull the trigger and do it like that was so fucking scary like that was that was literally like you can see me like looking at the ceiling while i'm talking so nervous oh my god and the scene in episode seven too like there was some times where i'm just like what scene in episode seven um between me my mom and my sister like oh just like there was some times where it was like i really i was like we just gotta rip the band-aid off and go here but like there was times where production was like we'll step out of the house and we'll just give you guys yeah after that they were like okay we're gonna give you guys a minute and we're like i was like yeah well that was intense i mean i know you to be hysterical but showed you to be really funny what alex i you know i think you're hysterical i don't think i smiled once the whole show yeah but like tell me tell me what throughout the season when you saw a smile on my face no yeah you can't name one one moment i smiled during the show wait you do smile a few times what about like when we were you smile when you're with your sisters and you're yeah and your younger brother but like i just don't think i was really myself so i would like a second chance well i actually think it was interesting the way you shift throughout the started filming in january and you finished filming in what may or june yeah like may that was a crazy period of growth in your career in general so like you can see that and it's fascinating to watch no i'm happy we have it captured i would just like well now i don't care like i also feel like i was so stressed out about the concept of a show in the beginning and like i said like letting go of that control and now i think i've like kind of no i don't know i don't know seeing it i've seen how it comes together i understand it like i just understand how it works a little more you know like there were times where it's like okay like you know like you guys really have to talk about this and i'm like i don't want to fucking talk about it like we usually just sweep things under the rug in this household like i don't want to talk about it so in the moment it felt really hard but now i see like the beautiful thing and how it has all come together so i like it a lot more now like i like the process more now i just was confused in the beginning like you've got the basis out of the way like that was the thing that i was like i don't know i don't know like difficult at times there's a ryan beattie lyric do you listen to ryan beattie no you would love him and it says what about me what you would like you would like you would like him it's very sad it's that's the saddest it gets okay he says letting go of what you hold holds you just the same okay so let me break it down for you an analysis this is the second second time i've done this so letting go of what you so i'm holding on to this let's say i'm holding on to this like version of myself that i'm protecting and these things that i'm holding back once i let go of that and trust fall oh like it'll it'll hold you the same way that you were holding what you were grasping on so strongly to begin with why though because it's about not needing something to hold on to like letting go of what you hold holds you just the same because at the end of the day like you're still going to be alive and breathing in your body no matter the situation like the circumstances might change so like no matter what changes around you like you can still control the way like you take care of yourself i don't know that's how i hear it i feel like it's kind of like trusting alex is like no it's about trusting the process yes and i feel like holding on to your past like just holds you back in a way that that's it like letting go of what you letting go of what you hold holds you just the same like don't be worried that letting go of something that you think has kept you safe you'll no longer be safe this thing that you're letting go of that you think is keeping you safe you'll still be safe yes i love it i love it have you ever been like i want a soda that's sour but also sweet yeah i bet you have and you know who heard that request poppy with only five grams of sugar poppy sour apple is quite simply one of the best sodas i've ever had in my entire life if you know me you know i love sour more than anything in the entire world and sour can only last so long you do need a kick of sweet in order to fully round out the experience and poppy sour apple does just that it's refreshing it's sour it's sweet and it's perfect for any season i really do commend poppy with how they've completely rebranded the soda industry it's insane it's insane what they've done i always talk about this but like literally a few years ago like i would go into bodegas in new york and i literally couldn't find poppies anywhere like i couldn't find them on uber eats i couldn't find them on postmates i couldn't find them anywhere and now poppy is everywhere because it is that good they continue to raise the bar every time and sour apple is no different it is actually one of the best things i've ever had in my entire life like a sour soda my dream soda's back but so much better poppy sour apple get it in your local store or on amazon today but are you happy overall with the show and how it came out yeah yeah i think like i'm also happy all the episodes are dropping at once yeah so you can get the like more well-rounded version than just like one episode at a time i think would stress me out a little bit more so yeah i like that it's all coming out i watched it also i'm really excited like i truly am for people to see like our family dynamic is definitely not normal and i think like we're very comfortable with each other also still like a lot of problems that we have and stuff we need to work through and I think like if I was younger going through this divorce again with my parents like I would have loved to see something like this and be like wow like there is either hope of where we can get to or you can find like just something to relate to and like okay wow like they still like fight like this and like I don't know like I just I think it would have been comforting to me so I think that makes me feel really like secure and putting it out even though I know it's going to be like whatever people are going to say but I I know that like I would have liked it if I was younger I think that's what kind of made the Kardashian so big was that like people saw like people were like oh I guess it's like normal to scream and fight with your family like this because like I remember I remember when I was growing up like like my mom and daughter could kill me but like we would scream scream scream and fight at each other all the time and I lived in like this very suburban neighborhood where all these families were like you know like I don't know I don't know I don't know I don't know I don't know I don't know like my mom and daughter could kill me but like we would scream scream scream and fight at each other all the time and I lived in like this very suburban neighborhood where all these families were like having dinner together every single night we didn't do that like we don't have we didn't have dinners together every single night like it wasn't just like the normal family experience so I think being able to watch something from someone that people look up to or want to be like and have it not be a normal family experience is like reassuring I think it's a beautiful way to look at it and my mom is like dating and Todd and like I don't know it's just I I love it so and I think like the little kids really do just bring such like levity to it all like I love that like Penelope. Thank God. They are seriously stars. They're stars. Wait, who's your favorite character in the show? Alyssa. Honestly, yeah. Alyssa kind of ate season one right up. I texted you and I said, Alyssa, that's my girl. Alyssa's my girl. She's just like, I don't know. I think she carries. She goes through life. She carries herself with such grace. She carries herself well. She's like funny, but she doesn't try to be. She just is. You can always tell when a person has a lot of love and they're not putting it on for the camera and that's just kind of who they are and that's your mom to me. And I also just like personally love your mom a lot. Oh, she's the best. She'll be so happy to hear that. I love you. Alyssa, I love you. She likes all my Instagram stories. Oh, she does that with everyone. Okay, well, she likes mine a lot. Yeah, she makes me feel special. Even like people, I'm like, mom, you can't. Like she's like liked comments before even like about like. Oh my God, I remember that. She likes everything. She liked comments that were mean about. Ashley and she was liking them. I'm like, mom, you can't do this. Like this is public that people can see you're liking this. And she was like, I didn't know. And I'm like, stop. Like she's, she gets crazy. She was, she still likes all of Braxton's posts. Does she really? She still texts my ex-boyfriend from high school. She's like, she has too much love to give. Can I say that that. She's filled with love. And we love that about her. Are you nervous for Braxton to see the show? No. You just don't care. We had conversations like about. Everything that like, he knows everything that's in it. Because I told him he knows everything that's in it. So. Whatever. Nothing was malicious. It was your life. No. I said to him, I said, this is basically a brochure to date you. I said, you're fucking welcome. I was like, okay. I mean, you do miss him a lot in the show. Right. Anyway, how's your love life? Mine? Fine. Like, you know, it's not good. It's not, not good. I've actually been focusing more on my friends. Good. I've been focusing more on my friends. I'm like, whatever. Like, lovers will come. Lovers will go. Do you have a lover right now, Jake? No, I have no one. What are you talking? What are you laughing about? She asked me. No, she didn't. Okay. How's your love life, Alex? No, I've been talking to my. No, no, no. How was your love life? No, I love Jake. How's your love life? Please. How is your love life? Good. I just, like, I don't, like, have a love. I'm just, like, I'm not, like, talking to anyone. But I'm, like, talking to at least people. She's talking to multiple people. Like, there was a second there where I was like, this is getting scary. Right. But now, at least, there's, like, I've been, like, whoa, okay, there's humans out there. Right. But, like, it's kind of fun to not be, like, I don't know. I'm so picky and not, like, needing to have a boyfriend. So, it's just, like, I actually think by, like, going out and, like, going on dates, it's so easy to write people off is what I think. Like, I don't know. I'm so picky with stuff that, like, I can go out to dinner with a guy and be, like, he did, like, three things I don't like. Yeah. I don't need to talk to him anymore. I mean, but in your defense, that one date you went on, like, went on was the worst thing I've ever heard in my entire life. I mean, that was, like, that was out of this world. What did he do again? He brought you to Starbucks? No, and he didn't have a plan for seven hours, so I got car sick. And then we drove around in circles, and then he asked me after seven hours of talking if I did OnlyFans. And I was like, okay, I guess you're not listening. Which also is Alex's worst nightmare, just, like, driving aimlessly, like, listening to music down the beach. Her worst nightmare. Because for five hours, first of all, is not, like, I would like it with someone I liked, but he kept saying to me, I don't know what else to ask you. I was like, okay. Also, like, we're the type of person where it's, like, we're very similar in the sense that, like, like, the other day, even at dinner, where it's, like, everyone was like, why are you paying the check now? And you're like, no, I like that this happened. So we just, like, you like having a plan. I just, like, also, that's my main attraction in a guy is a doer. Yeah. Like, someone who can, like, just do it. Like, just get things done. I know. And so he was not, he was an undoer. He was, he was not doing anything. What was everyone's favorite weekend of the summer? I mean, it has to be when we were in Monaco. Yeah, it was the best time of my life. Like, that was the best trip ever. I saw you open up in a way that I hadn't seen since the breakup. What do you mean? Like, you, you were solemn for a few months. You were sad. Oh, yeah. You were, and we, you talked about it with Stas, but we went on that trip. We didn't bring a single plus one. It was you, me, Stas, and Stella. And it wasn't even about, like, guys. Like, there weren't, like, that wasn't the focus of it. The focus of it was, like, I, like, we're, like, conquering. We're having fun. Like, we're doing whatever. And I think with that, then, the guys followed. I think, honestly, no offense to you. No, that's fine. But I think, like, Stas really, you guys becoming friends was really, really good for you. I completely, a thousand percent. I really, like, changed. Like, you guys are such a dynamic duo. And it makes me so happy seeing you guys together. And I feel like she really, like, helped you out of your, like, weird phase you were in for so long. Well, because she doesn't let you. And she's so sweet. I love her. She doesn't let you be in that weird phase. Like, I remember when I got to Monaco, I was in my brace. And I was so upset about it. And she said, bitch, I went to the white party in a boot. And I said, okay, I guess. Yeah. And then I was, like. She's a fucking brace. Yeah. Like, she was, like. She just doesn't. She's, like. She's also, like, your type A boyfriend. Because she handles everything. And, like, always has a plan. And always figures everything out. She's, like, a good mother. She's a good mother. She's the best mother. She really brought it out of you. In a really, really, really awesome way. And then when I left you guys. Then, uh. I was, like. Then, uh. I was, like. They're about to embark on the most beautiful summer of their lives. And they did. Yeah, we had so much fun. Aw. That was fun. That was my favorite couple. I think, like, meeting new friends this summer was a really big thing for me. Me too. Yeah. I met a lot of new people. I was in, like, Paris alone for two weeks. Yeah. How was that? It was. It was really fun. It was scary. I didn't, like, have friends. I met, like, Max. I met my new friend, Emily. But we. This was the summer of, like, making new friends. And I think sometimes. It's. You and I. I think. Specifically. Relied on our friends from college. From college. And then each other. Mm-hmm. And. Well, I always felt so. Because I like to keep my circle close and small. And, like, once I have my friends, I'm, like, I don't need to, like, go make new friends. But I think, like, I got too trapped in the mindset of feeling so comfortable that, like, I wasn't branching out. And I became, like, a little antisocial. Which you wouldn't think that I'm antisocial. But, like, you know what it is, too, is we're still so young. And I don't know why I got in a mindset of, like, I don't know. Like, we are settled in our ways. Or we're so, like. We're, like, adults now and, like, everything. And I'm, like, oh, my gosh. We have so much life yet to live. And, like, we can still make new friends and meet new people and go out with new groups. And, like, nothing has to be set in its ways. And I think that's beautiful. I think one part of the show that honestly really struck a chord with me was when you were talking to your dad about, like, you were, like, I'm 25. And I feel all, like, you've done all these incredible things. But you. I'm pretty sure you said you're, like, you're, like, I don't feel it. Mm-hmm. You know what I mean? I mean, like, you're, I think, tell me if I'm wrong, but you were feeling, like, the typical post-grad is, like, you live in a city and you stay there and you make all these friends and you meet all these people and, like, you're traveling all the time and it was hard. But I think this summer you embraced that being a part of your life. Mm-hmm. And once you embrace that being a part of your life and being, like, you're with me or, like, you can follow me and you can come with me and whoever comes into my life can come into my life. Once you embrace that, if that. Am I making sense? No, I feel like you're really, like. You've kind of lived for yourself this summer. Yes. And I feel like your whole career you've kind of lived for what you're doing. Mm-hmm. And, like, you're being a little selfish and not caring about what people think. Oh, my friends. Oh, no, of course. No, I'm not saying about my friends. You two, no, like. I'm not saying about your friends. I'm saying about, like, your work. You're a phenomenal friend. You're both amazing friends. You're a great friend, too. You are the best. I always say that about you. I'm like, you are such, like, a loyal friend, and it's so hard to find. And I can't believe I found you so early on. It was fate. I mean, it was really fate, because I'll never, ever forget it. We were in Alex's bathroom in L.A., and she looked at me a year and a half ago and goes, bitch, you need to grow thicker skin. She goes, if you actually want to do this, like, I can't hear about this anymore. And it wasn't in, like, an angry way. No, you need someone that can, like, tell you stuff like that. She was like, you need to grow thicker skin. Right. I mean, at some point, you need to just, like, let go of what everyone is going to have an opinion on something. And that's, like, what we're here for. Right. You can't make everyone happy. But also, if no one has an opinion on you, are you doing your job right? Right. I guess not. Exactly. Yeah. And it's, like, even, like, people have an opinion on everything. You made a new friend. And, I mean, the discourse online about you making a new friend was insane. I know. And as someone who was there to witness the new friendship be made, it was just, it couldn't have been further from the truth. Like, that's Stoss's humor. That's what makes Stoss Stoss. It's, like, her witty little, like, that's why we love her. I also just don't get the thing when people are, like, you guys are mean to each other. Or, like, with any friend, though, I'm like. Do you, like, joke around with your friends? No, it's very strange. Like, I feel like you're not friends with someone if you can't, like, fuck around with them. When I talk to Peyton, she's, like, screaming at me. And I'm, like, laughing. And it's, like, that's my best friend. Because that's what friendship is. Is that not what friendship is? No, it is. That's why me and Alex are, like, the closest. I think you're just, like, explaining it, like, a little aggressively. You being in the basement. Right? Oh, perfect scoping. Let's read our horoscopes. Like, CoStar? Yeah. Yes. Well, you don't have CoStar. I have this app called. Do you guys know yesterday it told me, like, it's okay to love multiple people at once? And I was, like, fuck yeah. I'll go first. And I honestly, I've been using this app that I think that you guys might like more than CoStar. Because sometimes I feel like CoStar is just, like, BS. No, come on, guys. It's called Chani, but it's really, really good. How do you spell that? C-H-A-N-I. Okay, ready? You guys, this is why I'm telling you this app's the best. You seem to have a take on every topic, and your words carry extra weight today. So, by all means, use them. Just don't forget to follow through. Translate all that talk into practical action. The smaller and more sustainable, the better. Your big ideas hit even harder when you act on them. And I'm like, you know, I've been talking to you about stuff that I've been working on. Yeah. And they, like, seem small, but they become big once you take action on them. Take that action. I love it. I will. What's yours? Or who wants to go next? I'll go. Okay. Desire creates the future. Stop waiting for conditions to be perfect before you make your move. The thing you've been putting off can actually be started today with whatever resources you have right now. Motion creates momentum. Do. Eye on the prize. Full stops. See it through. Don't. Cold war. Fisty cuffs. And downplaying. Is that telling me my bracelets are ugly? No. That's telling you. As someone who's now watched the show. That I think you should really pursue modeling. I think so, too. And there was something today happened and she was, like, nervous about it. And I was like, I think you should do it. I mean, like, you need. That's telling you, like, you're waiting for the condition to be the perfect show or the perfect this or the perfect that. If you just do it. Do it. That's all that matters. Right. I'm going to do it. Do it. Okay. You can be the warm light that pours over everyone you love. Your natural warmth that draws people close, but not everyone who basks in your glow will return for you. Do a favor when you need it. Stop performing happiness for those who disappear when you're having a rough day. Do big tips, soft focus, hydration, don't overstain, opportunism, name drop. Well, damn. Fuck. No, I don't. Okay. So cut the whole episode. We didn't name drop. No. We definitely did. We talked shit. I don't think that's name dropping. We definitely. You could have name dropped a lot more than you have. Okay. So I've been good. You've been great. Oh, I really like that one for you. Yeah, that was beautiful. There's always going to be people like that, that like bask in your, the glow that you create. And that's why I think. And they will leave you on a moment's notice. And that's why for a while we were like, no new friends, no new friends. That's what we always said. We always say no new friends, but now we're like making new friends, but like with a caution. Yeah. I think it's all about learning how to make new friends. I think. Okay. I think. You know what? You. No. You. I was going to say, you can, I think something I've struggled with and I've learned from my mistakes is when I meet people, I tell them every single detail of my life and I tell them everything. And I like open up a million percent. Like I've realized now you can like meet people without like exploiting every single thing in your life. Like I've got to stop doing that. No, but you can have so many friends that like don't actually know. Like when I meet someone, I'm like, I want to tell you everything. But also like, I think we're accustomed to the college way of making friends. Cause we all went to college and we making friends in college is very much like we went out this weekend. We've spent the whole week together. We have class together. We're best friends. That's not how it works in the real world. You have to like, uh, hang out with like purpose. Like you have to like be, you have to like purposefully make plans with people and the people that kind of just like are suddenly there all the time, maybe aren't the best people. Yeah. Like you both have, is what I'm saying making sense? Oh, you know what I'm really realizing right now? How lucky I am to have you guys. I'm so lucky to have you guys. We're so lucky to have you. I really am. Like, I really feel that way. Like, I don't know what I would do without you guys. I really don't. There's no, I don't know what I would do without you. I mean you too, but like, but there are certain situations that I'm like, I don't know who's in the world is going to relate to this besides you. No, seriously. I'm like, there's no one else I can speak to right now. No. We have had like a very similar career upcoming trajectory and like, I think like it's so nice to have you by my side and just, but beyond that as like a friend in general, like you just, I don't know, honestly you make me feel better because you're always stressed out about something. I know, I know, but I'm, but like when, when I like go through something, you're right. Like we, we came up kind of at a similar times and we're doing different things, but our, the audience, we're presenting to are very similar. So there, there's no one else in this world that I can call and be like, how do you deal with this? Cause the only person that knows how to deal, deal with this is her. Jake. It's true. It's how I feel. I'm like, I need to call Alex. She's the only person who will understand. I love you. I love you more. And I love you. I love you. Sorry. I just hit you. Bitch. Sorry. Well, what are you guys therapist about today? I'm therapist about Alex taking that seat. Because she wanted her good side on camera. And now my bad side is facing the camera. Okay. But like every time we do something, you always, is it every time, every time we take a picture, every time we do anything, she needs the goods. Cause we have the same good side. Nope. You're beautiful on both. No. And that's what pisses me off. I think you're more beautiful, which is why I offer you the other side. Alex. I'm not kidding. That is true. I don't think she has a bad side. Like I have a bad side. My bad side is like, no, no, no. I look like a gremlin. No, I, I truly see so much beauty in you, which is why I allow you to have both sides. I promise. I'm therapist. Like I swear. I swear. Okay. Well. What are you therapist about? I was therapist about the shirt, but I don't want to like also attack you. Well, I like your shirt. Yeah. You look really cute. What is that shirt? Really? I feel like I look like I'm from that 70s show. Oh, I'm therapist that you both are like being weird about coming out tonight. Wait. I have a birthday party. When did I ever say I wasn't going out tonight? Today. I said, are you coming out tonight? Today. You said, I don't know. When? Right when you walked in. I probably wasn't listening. Do you want to come out tonight? Yes. Let's go out. Let's black out. I have to go to Germany tomorrow. Like, please. My flight's at 3 p.m. I can black out until the world. Okay. Well, I have a birthday party with Sally, but maybe we'll meet you after. What about Alex? Well. Right. The both of them are invited and not me. I think if she knew you were in New York, you would be invited. I think she only texted me and Sally because she knows we live here. I'm therapist about that. Okay. This is a theme with you. What? You're never invited to the stuff that. Because you're never around. But it's the thought that counts. Right. So here's something that happened on the show that you don't know. I cannot talk about this. I cannot talk about it. Me, I'm in New York staying at her apartment. She doesn't think to be like, oh, me and Sally are going to this thing tonight. Come. She's just like, we're going. You're never here. So like, they didn't think to invite you. Yeah. But like, you know, I'm here. So invite me. It's not my birthday. I'm friends with her. Should I say Alex is here? Can she come? I don't want to go. This is what I mean. I knew you wouldn't want to go either. What am I there pissed about? Maddie, do you know? God, I love Maddie. When Maddie entered, when Maddie entered your life, things shifted in a very, very good way. Yes, Maddie, you are. You are an unsung hero. Like, if I need to, if I need help with something, like I go, I do go to Maddie. Do you know what's the best about Maddie is like, she always is like, it's just like fun because we're like, you know, like the same age and girls. but like she always is like, Whenever I tell her anything about a guy, she's like, go do it. Like she like encourages like the worst behavior in the best way. But like, it's so fun. How was the white party this year? So much fun. Like honestly, I had the best night ever. And that was the night I was again, being like often very social and like making new friends with people. And it was, it's just such a long party, you know, it starts at five and then it goes until five in the morning. So like it's, there's like a lot of room for error. Um, and it's, it's so fun though. That was like what started my summer. I think I was like really in a dark place. You were, I always am. But then Alex and sauce called me and they're like, get, I told her I'm going to get you out of your depression. And then I saw the person that she wanted to talk to. And I flung my, no, even before that though. I remember I got ready. Let me tell you how I got ready for that party. And I was like, wait, I've never looked better. And I felt amazing. No, let me tell you Ashton. I was like, there's that guy. Go talk to him. And she's like, no. And I said, okay, I will make myself look like a lunatic because I don't need this guy to like me. I need him to like you. So I'm going to look like a lunatic. And then what's going to happen here is you're going to swoop in and be like the cool put together, like sexy, mature one. And you're going to talk to him. So I'm like, let's go, let's get a drink, whatever, like getting this guy. And I'm like talking his ear off. And then the second that there was like, someone was like, Alex, can I talk to you? I like tapped her and I was like, get in there, like go like now. So like I lured him to the bar with the three of us. But she wouldn't speak for the first like 30 minutes. So I was just rambling about God knows what. And then the second I got an out, I like tapped her and I was like, perfect. I'm leaving the bar to go talk to someone. You get in there. And now they've been separated in two months. You're welcome. You really haven't. Like we haven't. So I've never like met someone and like just hung out with them every single day. I, for as long as I've known you, I haven't seen it. I don't like anyone. The cutest thing ever. But can you admit that it, every time I have a crush on someone, you make it happen because I can't do it. I can't do it myself. I'm a really good wing woman for her. Or is anyone in general? I'm like really good at like hating men and not liking them. But if it's like, I actually won't potentially talk, have a crush on someone. I like can't speak. You know what it is about you? When I've always said this about you. Yeah. Okay. Go first. What? Let's say, where did we go the one night in LA where she really wanted to see this person? So we made our, I didn't want to go out this night. It made us go to this party. It made us get dressed up. I made us get into the party. Then I found the person. That was talking to the person she wanted to talk to. So then she could talk and she blew it. Like just completely blew it. She was a freak. Oh, I was like, I remember this. I hadn't spoken to a boy at like, like it was my God. And I was so, I was supposed to come with you guys. Oh my God. Yeah. And I was like, and I don't mean to call my sister a freak, but like, she's seriously, I can be a freak. I've never seen like a situation go down more poorly than this in my entire life. Like she really just like out of, she made this guy get up and like, I don't know. Actually be like, I'm going to go take a lap. What did you say to him again? I started like rambling, but I was like stuttering. Oh my God. It was like out of a movie. She told it one unfunny story, two unnecessary long, three, like it made no sense. There was no plot to the story. Like, but you also, I love going out with you guys so much. It's because I feel so confident because you guys enter the room with such confidence. It's like when we're wherever we go. It's like, yeah, like, you know, it's like you just, you lead the room, you enter the night with such like, you'll, I will do whatever the fuck I want. I don't care who, what the fuck anyone in this room says about me. And it, um, what's the word? Creates like an aura. Yeah. Creates an aura. Except I don't really think I feel that way. I feel like you do sometimes when you have like a drink or two and you're like going out and walking in a place. Like there's like, Alex is like shoulders back to the best thing on planet earth. I literally feel like a superstar. Yeah. Like walking behind her like this. And she like is walking with like her back arched and just like scanning the room. She's like in diva mode. It's great. There's some nights that like I can turn it on. It's the best night. Please turn it on tonight. Again. I know where I think we should go tonight. Ladeve. Ladeve and then? Shay. I'm trying to get, tell me what's wrong. You know. Oh. Why did I not know they came in like a printout letter? I think it's changed. Do I not watch Therapist? I do. No, she doesn't. This year I've decided to take a gap year before going to university because I don't know what I want to do with my life. None of my other friends are doing this and I'm sort of alone. Is this a good idea? And also what would be some good things to do during this time? I don't want to waste it and I want to use it to learn something new maybe. I think it's a great idea. It's a great idea. Do you know who took a gap year and had a wonderful time doing so? And. Still had a great college experience is Stella. Really? Yeah. Her and Elliot graduated one year apart from each other but they're the same age because Stella took a gap year. And she was like, it was great. I had a great time. I mean, yeah. What I would say is like, I feel like that point of your life is like about maturing and finding yourself and like you go to college and I think you really come out on the other side. Like everyone kind of goes down. Like I feel like you go in, everyone kind of seems like similar or same, like you like the same things and you leave and everyone kind of like blossoms and goes on their own path. And like if you want to take the time to like find out who you are during this stage, like I don't think there's anything wrong with that. No, I think it's great. Also, I think you could learn a new language. You could learn a new like craft skill. Try some new hobbies. I mean, just try not to stay still. I think is like the key to it. Like be doing shit. The only thing I would say is like I feel like when people do something or put it off then they never go do it. Like are you going to take a gap year and go. You could also like maybe she's like. Right. Maybe they're figuring out like where they want to. Like go to school or like what they want to do. I think it's a great time. You can also like visit your friends and see like what they're doing. You could travel. You don't need to know what you want to do going into college. Like a lot of like getting into college for me was like very like I picked the major. I applied with the major I thought would get me into the school. I went in undecided and then I found what I liked. Yeah, it's not necessarily what I wanted to do. While I was there. I was just like, okay, which one is going to get me into the school? I'm going to pick that one. Like you don't need to. You don't need to go into college knowing what you want to do. I had no idea what the fuck I wanted to do. I thought I had no idea what I wanted to do. And then at the end of my sophomore year, I was like, okay, I think I want to. I got this job in music and I was like, I'm going to work in music. And then that became my entire personality trait. And then this happened. Just like life happens. And I think take the time to travel. You're never going to have it. You are never going to have this year off ever again in your entire life. I remember when we were going to college, Sally couldn't get into travel. She couldn't get into Charleston unless she did like a semester abroad. And she was like, in the moment, it felt like the biggest decision ever. And she was like, I can't do this, whatever. And I was like, just do it. Like, go. You're going to make so many amazing memories. You're going to meet so many amazing people. Like, just go do it. And then go to, like, what is six months going to do? You know, like, it seems like such a big deal in the moment, but like, it's going to go by so fast. And she did it. And she was like, I can't imagine if I didn't do that. Yeah. I think if you're able to, going abroad is a really great experience. I never got to do it. Well, I didn't. I didn't do it. I loved it. Did you do it? I loved it. Where'd you go again? I went to Florence. I loved it. Oh, yeah. I remember that. And even if you're, you know, taking a gap year, you could take a class and like, even like a painting class or something or like, learn the language of that country. Obviously, you know, if you're able to. But I loved it. And it was just so fun. And it really got me out of my shell. I think it was really important for me as a person, especially because I was like, more shy and awkward. I just went with like, one friend and we kind of conquered. And it was great. You want to know what my favorite college story of Alex? This of all time, when you visited her in Miami and you left your phone in her dorm so she could take you clubbing. Oh, my God. So much trouble. What happened? Because Alex was a freshman in college. So I was a junior in high school. I was like 16, I think. And I was like, we're going to the bars. And dad was like, you guys are not going out, you know, like whatever. So my dad had our location. So we were also going out at like 2 a.m. We weren't just like going out at like 10 p.m. We were left at the dorm. We were at the dorm at 2 a.m. to go to the club. And so I left my phone in Alex's dorm room and I squeezed myself into like her sparkly high heels because my feet are two sizes bigger than hers and like put on one of her mini dresses. And I was like, we're going to the club. We went to live. We were in the DJ booth. And that was literally like my residency. Anywho, I think dad found out that we went to the club. So no, the text I got from my dad. Like at this point, we were like, we're going to the club. We're going to the club. Which I was already in hot water because when I went home for the break, I like took this guy back to my dad's house and he saw on the cameras and like it was already like really bad. And he sent a text like that read me to filth. Like it was so mean because I promised my parents I wouldn't take her out. And I did. But what else were you supposed to do? You're visiting her at college. Were you going to sit in on a class? No. And. Like at that point, like what are you doing if you're visiting college? No. And that's why Alex is the best. Big sister ever. And also it was like we were safe. Like we were in the most secured spot we could have been in the club. We were literally in the DJ booth. Like we were like, yeah. The most secure, safe spot. Like we had our own bar. Like we were fine. If I don't go out tonight, like I will. Okay. Like we're going to go out. Every time I mentioned to my best friend how I think a guy is cute or start crushing soon after, I always see her texting or talking to him. These are the worst type of people. Sorry. This has been happening. a lot when I confront her, she always tells me, It's just text. Oh, my God. I would literally freak the fuck out. That's not your friend. And he's the one texting slash talking to her. I don't want to make a huge thing about it, but I'm also like, what the fuck? Your friend is very insecure. You could never trust your friend ever. That's not a friend. I don't think that's your friend. No. That's not a friend. These, I'm sorry, might be like the worst type of human ever. Well, it's all, from what I've learned. Oh, and the girls always have such an elaborate excuse, too. Like, we're just friends. I know. It's like, why are, and then they gaslight you. They're like, why are you feeling weird about it? Stop. You're insecure. Like, you're weird. That's weird. That's just my, oh. Or the girls that are like, every time there's a guy and they have to make it known that like, that guy wants to get with them, and you're like, oh, please. Yeah, they're like, oh, I've gotten with them. I think that's a narcissist. I think it's a mix of like, insecurity and like, narcissism. Yeah. Is narcissism based on insecurity? Definitely. Or is it a disease? Narcissism is like a disease. Yeah, I think it's a disease, too. I don't think it's based on insecurity. Because I used to think I was a narcissist, but I've recently discovered I'm not. You can get diagnosed a narcissist. Right. You can? Yes, you absolutely can. Oh, yeah. No empathy. I thought you said you can't. It's like, like, you, I met a real narcissist the other week, like, a real and true one. They live in like, a genuine reality. Like, it is like, it is, it's like, we all live in the world. Like, they live in a complete and separate world. Like, they, in their minds, like, they don't think they are hurting you or hurting anyone. Like, they don't think you're doing anything wrong. Like, they live in a separate world. It's a disease. It's a legitimate disease. No, but I think you can have narcissistic qualities. Of course. But that's what people throw around the word and, like, use the word. Yeah. Yeah. But that, yeah, that's an insecure person. And that's not a real friend. Sorry. No, let's continue on. My best friend of five years has been in a long-distance relationship the entire time I've known her. Coincidentally, I've never met her boyfriend. That's super weird. We've worked together, graduated college together, gone on trips together. And I've never. Never met him. When he's in town, they are always, quote, busy or, quote, not interested in what I invite them to. I've kind of gotten over it at this point. But every once in a while, it comes back up and my curiosity gets the best of me. I mean, at this point, I'd be like, is he real? Yeah. But also. Like. Yeah, that's a little crazy. I feel like the biggest thing about dating a guy for me is I want all my friends to be best friends with me. Like, that is very important. Do you feel that way? I literally meet a guy and I'm like, you need to meet my family right away. Yeah. Friends. Like, there's times, like, this summer, I'm literally out. I meet someone and I'm, like, FaceTiming my dad. And I'm like, dad, this is so-and-so. I mean, when you were with Brockson, he was friends with every single one of us. Yeah, Brock's how it should be, though. I would have felt comfortable calling him on my own. Like, imagine bringing a guy around your friends and he, like, doesn't want to hang out with your friends. I would be like. No. But, so, what's this girl's problem? She's just, like, I'm very weirded out. My best friend of five years. No, that's very weird. It's very weird. So, what do we do about that? I feel like. Do you say to her, like. Yeah, you have to just say, like, what's going on with her. I feel like it's really weird that I haven't met your boyfriend. Oh, I don't think that's weird. And then, you know what I would do? I'd be like, is he real? I'd be like, at this point. Maybe, like, joke about it. Have you seen a picture of him? Like, with the AI of it all, like, I don't believe that he is real. But, like, why lie? I'm serious. Like, that's where I would go. With the AI of it all. I'm serious. I'd be like, is this man real? Like, we've been best friends for five years. We graduated college. He comes and visits in the same city. Does he. Do you speak negatively about me? Do you hate me? Or is he not real? Yeah, we gotta get to the bottom of this. My sister is dating a total loser. He got a DUI. Been there. Okay. He got a DUI, spent the night in jail, and legit has no money. She pays for all the rent. I'm sorry, I can't. Call me old-fashioned. I can't do it. And he legit uses her as a sugar mama. She has this thing where she needs to take care of everyone. But how do I show her this guy is a leech? You can't. It's really hard. Okay, Alex, take the wheels. I just feel like you've gotta let him have his course. They have to see it themselves. I've been in the position before where, like, I tried to fight with her about her boyfriend, and all it did was, like, cause us to not talk for a year and a half. And, like, I would rather. A year and a half? You guys didn't speak for a year and a half? Like, we spoke, obviously. But, like, we weren't friends. I didn't call her and, like, update her on my life. Like, we didn't visit each other, really. And, like, I would so much rather, like, let her know that I'm there for her if anything were to happen. If anything were to have gone wrong, then, like, I don't know. Yeah, you, like, wanna, like, not have that hatred between your sisters, so. Like, we had a conversation one time, and I knew she could hear me, cause she was crying. But I was still, like, fuck you. She, like, was saying, like, fuck you. But she was crying, so I knew that, like, I was getting through to her. But, like, I would say that approach more so than, like, don't fight with her. You can kind of, like, I think there's a way to nicely tell someone, like, what you see without, like, being, like, you need to break up with this person, like, la la la, being aggressive. Like, I was aggressive. I think that's what we learned. Like, you have to be nice about it and be, like, I'm here for you. Cause also, like, I've had friends where their boyfriends are, like, treating them like dog shit. And I'm, like, you have to break up with them. You can't, like, force someone. But, like, you can't, like, make anyone to see it for themselves. Yeah, they have to, like, just finally come to terms with it. And, like, if you're too aggressive, then they won't feel safe to, like, confide in you. Yeah. Like, if you're too, like, harsh about it, they're not gonna wanna be, like, if I do actually feel a way, they're not gonna wanna tell you. They're gonna wanna tell someone who's gonna be, like, it's okay. They're gonna, like, shut you out because it, like, they get defensive themselves. So then they're not gonna tell you what's actually going on. So, basically. You have to be nice and supportive. Yeah. And just. Maybe, like, drop some comments in a nice way. But, like. Try to give good sisterly advice. You just gotta let it run its course. It's kind of just, like. You can't force someone to break up with someone. It's that, like, super unfortunate feeling of, like, you, the only person in this life that you can control is yourself. Exactly. You literally cannot control anybody. You can't control your mom. You can't control your sister. You can't control any of your best friend. You literally. Sometimes, unfortunate situations happen that you cannot control. And you have to come to terms with that. Yeah. And it's also, like. I don't know. They're happy doing that. Also, it's not. I don't get it. But, like. Yeah. She's happy. Well, girls. What did we learn today? What did I learn? I definitely did. I don't know if we learned anything today. I think we. I think we definitely. I think we talked a lot of shit. We talked. We talked. We talked.
