Session 129: Alicia Carmody

This episode blends personal storytelling with emotional insight, centering on Alicia from *The Real Housewives of Rhode Island* and her journey through authenticity, conflict, and growth. The conversation explores the show’s power in reflecting real human emotions—like anger, forgiveness, and resilience—showing how relationships evolve through honesty and vulnerability. Alicia shares her experiences of anxiety, motherhood, and personal fears, particularly around her daughter’s appearance and her own emotional sensitivity. The narrative also highlights moments of connection, such as the reunion, where old conflicts are resolved and trust is rebuilt. Food and community—like the beloved Pizza Mama—serve as unifying themes, symbolizing warmth and belonging. Tonight we have on Alicia from the Real Housewives of Rhode Island. One of my favorite shows on television and it is also one of Manny's favorite shows on television. Yes it is. This is your first intro. This is my first intro and I'm a little nervous. Oh don't be nervous. Okay. We're just going to talk about how much we love Alicia. And what do you love about Real Housewives of Rhode Island? What don't I love about the Real Housewives of Rhode Island? Basically every single woman on it is like wild. They all have the best accents ever and just hearing them speak to each other is a treat. Yes. They're just silly. They're like insane. They all have these like crazy houses and crazy jobs. Like one of them owns a weed store. One of them owns a pizza store. Where we went. I didn't get to go. Manny. And the pizza. I know. You know I don't like pizza. It was fucking amazing. So good. She has like a hot honey pizza. Yeah I was looking at their Yelp. She has the heart shaped pizza. I know. And I'm really bummed that I wasn't there. We'll see her again. Oh I feel it in my bones. Alicia. She's everything. Yeah I know. She's everything. I know. And she gives pretty good advice in this episode. She gives some really good advice. The housewives always give great advice. Well because they've like. Lived lives. Yeah. Like all of them. Like they. They've been through a lot. Pre-show and on the show. I think that's what makes watching housewives like so empowering. I like feel so empowered when I watch housewives. Me too. I feel like I'm like oh my god if they can do that I can do anything. Yes. Well also you were mentioning this before about how it's like they get in these crazy fights and then they move on and they make up and they're best friends again. Yeah. I don't know people like that in real life. And it's so fun to watch that on screen because it's like. It really is like wow. They go to like the deepest darkest depths of their anger and shame and screaming and whatever and then like a month later they're best friends again and they move on like they are strong people. And it's like kind of the beauty of life. I know. It's like really they put water under the bridge and they're like we got to make a show. Let's just keep going. Yeah. I hope you guys enjoyed tonight's episode. We filmed it at Pizza Mama in Rhode Island because for me that there was nowhere else to film this episode. Alicia. Is so I think she is going. I think she is bound to be one of the greatest housewives we've ever seen. I do want to add something because I went out to Rhode Island to film this with everybody and I want to shout out Billy as well and Alicia because they were so hospital or hospitable. Yes. To me when I got there they moved like the earth to make sure that we could set up after we went through like two bottles of Prosecco and they just fed me and Billy like helped me put my lugs on. I'm like I'm going to get my luggage into the car for the airport. Help me clean up and the whole staff at Pizza Mama. It was really fun day and I just want to shout them out. Oh, it was fantastic. Fucking shout out Alicia. Shout out Billy. Shout out the entire staff at Pizza Mama. It is really like you walk in there and that place feels like home. I'm telling you. Also, did you watch the finale? I did. You did? I did. I am obsessed with Billy and Alicia from the finale. He loves her so much. When he. He re-proposed to her. I know. Oh my God. And then she just kept being like you've never done anything like this ever the entire time I've known you and you have been like yeah I know. Let me do it. That's why I'm doing it now. I know. I love them. You were never homeless. I know. Wow. That's a good impression. Thank you. They keep saying about Liz and but Liz was saying it about herself which kind of makes me like she's like I'm the sweetest person. I'm a sheep in wolf's clothing. I don't know if you could say that. You can't say that about yourself. So she's essentially claiming she has a tough exterior but deep down she's nice. Yes. So her actions are mean but actually she's nice. Yes. I agree. Can't wait for the reunion. I know. Me too. I'm so excited. Me too. Enjoy the episode pussies. I love you guys. Alicia Carmody. Hi. Welcome to Therapist. Oh my God. I love you. I'm so excited. I love you. I'm so excited. I brought you crackers and Fig Newtons and we're drinking wine. This is the best gift in the world because everyone knows how much I love this. Like I'm like literally I live off of this stuff. Have you been eating them forever? I've been eating these since I was like a child. Right. Right. Right. And so to be honest with you with the crackers, I think it's more of like a nervous thing. Like I have anxiety. Right. And I didn't realize how much I talked about crackers until watching myself back on the show. Oh, you like didn't even clock it in the moment. No. Because you were so in it. We were just talking about that. Yeah. Like it was my anxiety. Like you know when you get butterflies? Yeah. Like that feeling. I would just want a cracker. Right. Right. You know like some people want a cig. I wanted a cracker. You smoke cigs? I got pregnant. Oh, okay. Well, that's always a good reason. Yeah. Yeah. That's always a good reason. Yeah. How was the reunion? The reunion was, it was needed. It was very much needed. And I feel like a lot of things had to be said and answered for too. You know? Were you on good terms with everyone? I was. Not at the reunion. I mean, God, filming brings it out of you, huh? Yeah. Like it really like. Because you know what? What that like I didn't know like going into first season is like if. You have to talk about things over and over. So you're like getting very emotional. Talk about things that upset you. Yeah. And I didn't know how the world was going to react. You know? Like you're just like just trying to be yourself and just figuring out as you go. You know? Right. And you've known Liz since you were what? Like five, like babies? Since I was born. Was it weird like filming with her? Yeah. It was fun. But yeah, at the same time when you're like giving me attitude. I'm like you're giving me attitude on camera though. Why would you do that? That's sad. At the end of the day, it's like you're calling me out on camera. Yeah. So like that part's with me. Like how do I handle? How do I handle this on camera? Then you're like, you know what? After a while, it's like if we're just going to be real, I'm just going to try this, you know, answer how I would answer her. Right. Exactly. You know? Do you fight like that in like real life as well? Or was it like do you like never fight? Like so normally I would have never talked to her again. But since I'm on the show with her, like I'm like, well, I have to forgive her, which is good. Yeah. This is good. Instead of me, I run away from problems. Okay. Instead of addressing them. Right. So I feel like that really helped me a lot, you know? Yeah. You like shut down. I shut down. I run. I just won't answer phone calls. I avoid like the plague. But on this, you can't do that. You have to face your fears and like have to, you know, respond. And I didn't know how to do that before. You know? Do you think it's like making you a better person? It made me a lot stronger. Yeah. A lot stronger. You know? I didn't realize I was that sensitive. You aren't that sensitive. I was with you on the homeless thing. Yes. I was team you all the way. That's your truth. Listen, I never lived on the streets. I never said that. Yeah. I just said my father like sold. Our home took all of our money and I had to move from house to house. I live my aunt, my grandparents, and then he came back in. And so like when she was questioning me, I felt like, you know, my story, but we live, we grew up very similar. Right. Okay. And I didn't like know where to go with that. I was stuck in the car for two hours. I was two hours. Two hours of the same story, by the way. Two hours. So I was like having a severe anxiety attack. Did you have crackers? I did. Joan kept going, do you want a crack? I was like, yeah, I do. I'm nervous. You know? So have you known Joellen? Have you guys have all? We've all known each other. Yeah. Just not Ashley. I didn't know Ashley and I wasn't really close with Rula until maybe a year before we started filming. And same thing with Rose. Okay. Thoughts on Ashley? Like very, I thought she was from Nebraska. I was like, wait, they didn't show that. I was like, girl, you are like not from here. You are like so Nebraskan. We want Nebraska. I don't know. It's a vibe. And I like don't know anything about Nebraska, but like she's Nebraskan. I've been to Nebraska. I'm like, I get it. Yeah. I was right. Yeah. You're always right. I'm always right. You're always right. Thank you. I love. So how have you redecorated this place since the show has come out? We opened it like probably like a few months before the show came out. And this was like an express. This was like a tryout because he owns like a lot of restaurants, like bigger restaurants. You know what I mean? Well, you got to get a stake in those too. Right. Well, no. Well, yeah. Well, those are his partners and stuff like that. You know, this one is like my baby. This is your baby. This is my baby. So I feel like we want to expand it. But this was like the tryout, you know? Yeah. Because it was like, who's going to want to come to a sexy pizzeria? Like, I'm a man. Like, I don't want to be like in Pizza Mom with chandeliers. Well. Well, it's cute. It's sassy. It's sassy. It's perfect. Can we try some pizza chips? Yes, let's do it. I need to try. Pizza chips. Big Will. Big Will? And so Big Will didn't want to do the pizza chips either. Who's Big Will? Oh, I call him Big Will. Right there. Oh, I thought you were talking to Billy. Oh, no. Billy. Thank you, Billy. Are they in hearts? Are these hearts? No. They're a little circle. So the thing with the pizza chips, it's like a little circle. It's light. It has like seasoning, maybe like some Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper. And this is the mama note, because I don't really cook. Cooking rule. You want to read it? Cooking rule. If at first you don't succeed, order pizza. Love mama, XOXO. That's my gossip girl. You know the XOXO? Yeah, yeah, yeah. The internet has to throw that in there. Do you love Gossip Girl? Of course I do. What other shows do you watch? I love that show. What's that one? I just said it again. Off Campus. Oh. Oh, right. I'm obsessed. I love that so much. The summer I turned pretty. I never. I never got into the summary temperament. I'm dead. Now I might not talk to you. Wait, why? I don't know. I just could never do it. I tried. I could never do it. You've got to, though, because I felt the same way. It was a slow start, but then you start to, like, love them. Who were you? Who did you want to end up with, Belly? What was the cute one that I liked? Jeremy. Oh, you were team Jeremiah? I loved Jeremiah. He loved her. He loved her so much. The other one was too, in his emotions, he was like, I loved, I was the only one that liked team Jeremiah. Right, right. Oh, my God. Okay, this is my first bite. Yeah. Mmm. Light. Perfect for the beach. Yes. Right? So good. Light. Easy. I usually put them on a platter for appetizers, and when people come over with a charcuterie board with, like, mini spinach pies, little pizzas, it's just like a picky. A picky. But you don't feel, like, sick. Like, put your feet in the sun. You're not feeling like you're having, like, a grinder. You're having, like, something light. Oh, what? Just to do what it has to do. Like a grinder. What's that? You don't know what a grinder is? I was so excited. I know the app. Can I teach you? Oh, it's not the app. You know, an Italian grinder. So it's, um, it's like a sub. It's like an Italian loaf with, like, the prosciutto, and they can do the Italian dressing, the cheeses, provolone cheese, salami with the peppers, and. Oh, it's like a pro. Oh, okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. I didn't know that's what you guys called them here. What do you guys call them? Like, in Italian? Oh, yeah. Yeah, the Italian. We call them the grinders. Okay, I love that. Have you. What is your favorite thing about Rhode Island? Um. Oh, there's so many. Like, for food. Oh, so I like being close to everything. Right. I. Because I don't drive. I also. Neither do I, by the way. You don't? That's something we share in common. Stop it right now. I refuse. I can't. Do you drive, like, ten minutes? Nope. I don't even have my license. I love you. Where are you from originally, then? New York. That's why. Yeah. And my dad was like, it's not happening for you. But why, though? What did you feel? I would hit someone. You did? No, I would. Oh, okay. I know you did, so we're, like, we're supposed to be friends. I know we're supposed to be friends. Yes. What sign are you? Do you want to guess? I feel like a Leo. No, but I see how you would get there. I'm a Scorpio. Oh, Scorpio. I love a Scorpio. What are you? I'm a Sag. I'm right in the cusp. Oh, I love a Sag. Yeah. You're a Sag. Aren't you? Imani. Oh, you're a Virgo. Oh, my God. November 26th. Oh, that's Billy's birthday. Billy's a Sag. I love it here. I love a Sag. We love Sags, yeah. Yeah. I'm, like, brained out because of the fucking neck loss. Okay, I'll go. It's okay. I get it. Trust me. Don't worry. It was. Who did they win? Did they win? I don't know. Did the Knicks win? Oh, it was, like, the biggest comeback in sports history. Oh, was it really? Yeah. It was the first quarter, right? I'm, like, oh, fuck, they're losing. This guy, he was, like, I promise you, they're going to win. Stop it. He was, like, serving drinks. He was, like, I promise you, mark my words, they're going to win. And we're down, like, 30 points. I'm, like, how are we going to win? He said they just need to start shooting threes, and they started shooting threes. I don't know what that really means. I think it's, like, from far away. Three points. Yeah. I love you. A little bit further. Yeah, a little bit further. Yeah, yeah. And they won, and it was, like, I literally, full body chills all over my body. My tits were hard. Like, everything. I was, like, literally, like, on the floor screaming. It's the best feeling in the world. Community. Right? And you feel the energy in the room, and everyone's so happy that it just gives you that boner. Yeah. Whatever. What team do you root for? So, when I was younger, I don't really watch sports anymore, but I used to love Orlando Magic because I was obsessed with Shaquille O'Neal. And he also was a rapper. Did you know that? Shaquille O'Neal? Shaq. I loved him. What rap? Oh, he used to rap. He used to have the hit, like, it was, like, on a tape. There was tapes. There wasn't CDs in it. Like, oh, a mixtape. No, it was, like, a tape. Like, there was, like, a cassette. A cassette. Yes. And A.B. And I used to love his music when I was younger, and I just thought he was so epic. What music do you listen to today? Oh, I still love Rihanna. Love Rihanna. I can't, like, Britney. I love a Britney Spears. Love Britney. I love Whitney Houston. Whitney Houston, Diana Ross, Tina Turner. I have, like, a mix. Kanye, Drake, Nicki Minaj. I love them all. What's your favorite Nicki Minaj song? A Moment Like This. Yeah, I see that for you. Yeah, because it just feels, every time I listen to it, if I'm in a bad mood, I feel like. Wait, do you mean Moment for Life? A moment. Oh, yeah. A thousand percent. Yeah. I never get anything right, by the way. Well, it's perfect. It's Charmaine. Moment for Life is, like, it just gives you life. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yes, yes. Okay, what about, what's your favorite Britney Spears song? Hit Me Baby One More Time. But, when she came back, and when she said, it's Britney, bitch. Like, I liked that. You know, it's that song, too. So, Blackout Britney. Yes. Yeah. I loved that show. Are you listening to any new artists today? Like, anyone? Any of the, like, younger pop girls? I like Pink Panthers. Is that her? I don't know if I said her name right. I love them. You did. Yeah, I love her. What song do you like? Well, with the one with Zara, Larson. Stateside? Yes. I like that. See, I'm not good with, like, the terms, but I just know that, like, when I hear, see the Owen, who does my social media, he'll put a song on, and I'll be like, I love that, and that was Pink Panther. What was the name of it? Stateside. Yeah. Is Owen gay? No, Owen's the most straightest man ever, actually. Good for you, Owen. So, sometimes it's, like, super funny, like, having him run my social media, because, like, he's, like, super straight, you know? Like, I'll be like, Owen, you gotta, like, you know, filter me a little bit. Like, it's okay. Right, right. He's like, I don't see it. I'm like, well, you should. Oh, my God, Angel Owen. Yeah, he's a good guy. Angel, because you know what? You don't need to filter anything. Yeah. You look even better in real life. Thank you. No dead ass. No, thank you. Like, you look better. You look amazing. Everyone always thought I was, like, six foot tall. I don't know why on TV, but I'm, like, 5'1". I'm short, too. How tall? You want to guess? I'm so bad at this game. 5'4"? Yeah, 5'3". See? I'm good. Yeah. All right, I was a little good. I lied, I'm good. Alicia, what are you a therapist about today? Today, Billie had my daughter here without me knowing, and she wasn't dressed up. She looked like she was a ragged doll, and that stressed me out. Because, like, when she shows up here in front of my friends, I like when she's, like, clean. I don't like when her nails are dirty. I don't like her hair wasn't brushed. And that, like, gave me anxiety. Is that weird? Isn't she five? No, she's nine. When she was outside, I go, what is she wearing? She didn't brush her hair. I know my parents used to be on me about that. I used to post videos online, and I wouldn't brush my hair before. It's charming. It's just, like, what a mom does. Like, that's what I'm supposed to do, you know? And it bothers me. But that's, like, the mother of me. So she's lucky. And you're welcome, Selena, if you hear this one day. She will. You know, you're welcome. I care. Because some mothers don't care, but I do. Right. Okay. Oh, hi. Hi. Oh, my God. Is everyone just so obsessed with Pizza Mama? You know, they like it. And I'm happy. It's fun for them. Right, right. Okay, so that's what you're a therapist about. How has Billie been taking to the reception of the show? I think Billie's actually been better than me. I think that I'm having more anxiety. You're having anxiety about it? I didn't have anxiety during filming, but I'm having anxiety, like, after it. Like, what people are saying? Just, like, trying to keep up. Like, I'm like, oh, my God, I work now. Like, I was a hair stylist. No, but, like, it's a lot more work than people think it is. No, yeah, a thousand percent. So it's like, I can't keep up with calendars and dates and times. You know, so, like, he's more, like, helping me manage my life. What do you mean? Like, do you miss, like, life events? Like, I just, like, didn't. I worked, like, two, three days a week. And I love that I'm working now, and I love that I get to show that. But, like, I don't know how to manage my schedule yet. You'll learn. Yeah. You'll learn. And, like, you know, I don't know how to manage my schedule either. See? All right. Well, yeah, it's hard. It's hard. You can't do it all. Well, you can't. You can't be funny, charming, and manage a schedule. That's what I say to him when he says to me, I don't know about money. I say, that's your problem. I'm the creator. That's not my problem, I told him. That's what you're for. Right. We're a balanced team. Right. Yeah. Right, Billie? You know what he does to me every morning? What? This is how I wake up and have coffee, and he wants me to be in a good mood. I wake up. I can't see. I'm not a morning person. Right. I'm like, so, Alicia, today we're going to talk about the balances of what you've been spending. Do you want to wake up to that? Every morning? Almost every morning. Yeah, you go, you're overspending. What have you been spending? There's a lot of boxes that came in last night, and I try hiding them. She announces to me and Selena, I'm awake. And that is the cue for Selena goes and grabs her cracker biscuits that she eats in the morning, and then I start her coffee. We make her coffee with cinnamon, and it's waiting for her. I do. I wake up. You live like a princess. Well, I do. For most of all, I do. I am very fragile, so yeah. No, but that's okay. I'm fragile. You should be protected. Mm-hmm. Yes. 1,000%. You need to be protected. Okay. When Rosie and Kelsey were fighting. Yes. Who did you agree with more? Rosie. Right. I love Rosie. Yeah. I also love Kelsey, so it's hard for me, but Rosie is like one of my closer friends on What Kelsey did was kind of mean. Right. Who cares about the square footage? I would never. So my home is my safe place. I would never want someone to make fun of that, and she was showing her real home. Yeah. You know, and it's under construction, so give the girl a minute. God, what else happened this season? Oh, Rula's affair. Oh, talk. Yeah. Whatever you want to ask, go for it, because I got, please. Who was pushing the agenda of, was it Joellen mostly? Joellen is like a detective. Really? Has she always been like this? Like, I don't remember her always being like this, but she's so good. It's scary. Did she go out of her way to like- Find out that he was having an affair? I don't think she went out of her way at the beginning. I think that it was very, like, everyone knew about it, which I didn't. To be honest with you, that's the truth. But I think when, like, Rula was like, you know, this is lying. This is AI. Joellen's like, I am going to prove you wrong. This man is cheating. And so, you know. Are they still together? Very. They are so happily in love. I mean, if it works for them, it works for them. Right. Right? At the end of the day, like, my mom always told me not to get involved with other people's relationships. I- Sometimes you have to for TV, but- Right. And I feel the same way. If she's happy and she doesn't want to know anything, like, I'm just going to the beat of her drums. But how awkward did you feel at that dinner, though, knowing about the video? I liked- brian to be honest with you guys brian is actually amazing besides the cheating part like he's fucking funny the man is funny like you cannot take that away from him he is funny like he's always saying something you're like oh my god like you know so it was hot and i also see him like he was a great dad to both of his children and i seen him in like in his home taking care of rula so it was yeah it was awkward because i i did i do see a good side to him right you know i so the season finale is next week which i have not seen yet does shit go down of course always but like does it go down like it went down at what's his face is frank sinatra night no okay no not like that but that was bad so bad and i like and i i gotta tell you i love i love liz and i think that's why i was like crying so hard and i'm not used to crying so that was like new to me too like that so i was like i just wanted it to end like i just wanted her to be like you made your point I don't even care anymore at this point because what does it mean to like what does it matter what you think I know what happens? You know exactly what does it not drop it? She wouldn't drop it. She wouldn't leave me alone about that's why Joellen was sticking up for me Right, and she never left it alone even after that our our Liz and Joellen on good terms are now not really Yeah, you guys are like my family every Monday. I sit down. I'm like I text Imani and I like yes You don't understand and I and I had a gut feeling I said, I know this is gonna be good I know this is gonna be good. They've all known each other since they were kids Like I know this is gonna be good every Monday you on my screen dinner. It is the best ritual of all time It's the best show ever. Really? Yes Is it because I think that we all like really like showed our truth like who said that you said your truth you said Like how you grew up like how you feel you're like you showed your life. That's what reality television is about, right? You know, it's reality and I really did hate Billy in that minute By the way when I did flip out of him or whatever I said something but I love him, too So It shows that like in relationships what I felt like with my thing what helped us is that you know No one has a perfect relationship and you just gotta work through if it's like strong enough over it's worth it You know, and I liked doing that with him. It helped us was Billy like initially apprehensive about doing the show Well, he was like, why would you want to put your daughter on TV? Why would you want it? Like people can judge you you you know I obviously don't say that a lot of the right words a lot I mess up a lot and if you do that for a mistake the world might hate you, you know, and it's a mistake so That part's scary, you know, cuz I don't always say the right thing, but I don't mean it intentionally It's just a mistake, you know Were you was there anything specific that you said that you were like worried was gonna be taking the wrong way when you said it? I ran over a woman Yes, I was like, oh the world is gonna be like where it's over but I you tell me about that She jumped in front of my car okay, and I was with my best friends and we came from I think I was driving slow and she dove in front of my car and I hit her and I She cracked my windshield and she got up to run away and I said no you can't cuz I was thinking you could have a brain injury Oh my god, I would love a grinder you guys make that here, but he wanted the hot honey. Oh my god. I'll do both Oh my god this oh my god. I love you. Do you feel my family to me? You know, I love food I love food. Okay. Well, what do you I gotta try the hot honey, honey? Oh Oh my god, Italian grinder is my favorite food when I'm drinking I don't know why when I'm really if I have like three drinks I'm like right for that. It's a bread. It's a dressing But that's that's epic. You're lying. No, it's not that what that's so good. Do you like that? So there's a cheese crust around it. No, it's light and airy. Did you choose anyone? Is anyone from Detroit over here? I never had Detroit and so No, oh my god. Wait, I'm like actually Yeah, it's so good you don't like pizza not really what do you eat sushi I'm so psychic by the way. I like sushi Thai. Yeah, I knew it when you said you like pizza. I like pasta though. Yeah Yeah, oh my god. I can't stop eating. I'm like my fat ass. It's just gonna be much into the mic the whole time That's how I get my fear at my house. I want you to eat right now whether we have Greek food or the Italian eat wine drink You like food. It's like oh I have to hear about it every single holiday every time. I'm happy every time I'm sad every family event. We have to talk about Greece Like what do you go? Hey, give me an example Wait, I'm like we actually went to couples therapy about Greece Wait, give me give me an example. Give me example. We're talking. We're talking. We're talking. Hi. Hi, Billy You know, you know, I gotta go to Greece this summer, right? Well, Billy, I can't I'm filming a show I'm gonna go to Greece. This is what I did all summer long and my father my brother, you know We had to go to Greece. My daughter needs to speak Greek and my daughter needs to go. It's like all day It could be Christmas, but in Greece like it's like Greece. It's like you're yes it is It's all you do and then he blasts Greeks muse like Greek music in the car and you he smacks the windshield and it's max this And it's just like that's what Greeks do And I get mortified and it's not hot And you know what Billy and my daughter gets so ashamed So you don't like Greece I like it like I'm so happy I got to like do it and go I don't need to go to every summer You're not a vacation person. Are you I love the case? Oh, you are. I thought you like staying at home I love being home too, though. Okay, so I get FOMO when I'm not home Okay, I get FOMO to like all my friends are in Monaco right now. I kind of FOMO but like You didn't go to Monaco. I went but then I left but aren't you happy to go and be like I want but you know What I got to leave and I said I literally said I was like, you know what like I trust the higher power. Yeah. And then I went to the Knicks and I saw the biggest comeback in sports history. And it's like, thank you. Yeah, it's literally like, thank you. Because you don't need to be everywhere. You can just be close to home and have that experience. Exactly, exactly. Yeah. What's the best concert you've ever been to? It's Britney, bitch. You saw Britney? Yes. Which tour? When she was doing the circus tour. Oh, you saw a good show. And you know who else is really good? Beyonce. Whoa. That's Beyonce. What tour did you see of Beyonce? Halo, right when Michael Jackson died. You saw the Sasha Fierce? Oh. No, right when Michael Jackson died, she sang that song Halo. And I remember just crying my eyes out because she was so beautiful on stage. She was like an angel. Uh-huh. You know, and you can feel things. You know how you like, you might meet your favorite celebrity and you might like, always love them, but then you see them and you're like, you ain't shit. Yes. Or whatever, you don't have that vibe. And then you meet someone that you already thought and they're like just glowing. That's how they both were to me. We were talking about Beyonce on the ride over today. We said she just glides. I was like, she is like, like I felt it, like, you know? Yeah. Right. Yeah. Okay, do you want to get into the tell me what's wrongs? Oh, I love a tell me what's wrong. This is where you give advice. Okay, I give you advice? No, you give the pussies advice. Okay, pussies. Let's go. I love it. Let's have another bite of my grinder because it is that good. I'm going to sip my drink. Summer is all about spontaneity and what is more spontaneous than a summer Friday turned into weekend extravaganza? You could go for a simple, after work, mocktail or cocktail with a friend and it could turn into an entire weekend trip. Chances are you'll be having a Venmo balance this summer because you will either be paying for something, your friend will be paying for something and you'll need to pay them back and they will need to pay you back. My favorite way to spend whatever Venmo balance I may accrue over the summer is via the Venmo debit card because it is the simplest way for me to spend that balance. You could also add it to your digital wallet so you could tap to pay and it really, for me, takes the anxiety out. I find solitude in the fact that there doesn't need to be an extra step into getting the money into my bank account because I can already use it on the Venmo debit card. So there isn't like lost money or money like kind of in purgatory. Also, when you use Venmo at checkout or use your Venmo debit card, you can earn always on cash back with Venmo Stash Rewards. And it all leads back to a summer Friday because a simple outing can either end there or it can go for the entire weekend. But regardless, the chances of you using Venmo are high, whether that be you're the one paying or you're the one paying someone back. The Venmo MasterCard is issued by the Bancorp Bank N.A. Venmo Stash Bundle Terms and Exclusions Apply. Max $100 cash back per month. See terms at venmo.me slash stashterms. Venmo checkout not available at all merchants. Thank you again, Venmo, for sponsoring tonight's episode and go enjoy that summer Friday. Thank you, SeatGeek, for sponsoring tonight's episode. Well, of course I'm hungry, but I feel like you need to, like, go to Greece with Angie Kay. So I met her. I feel like she'll change your life about how you feel about Greece. So you don't go to Italy either? I love Italy, but I like a city. Oh, fair. So I like, I love Rome, I love Paris, I love London, but Greece, it's. You have a lot of Greek haters. I love Greece so much. No, and I do. I just, I'm so happy I went. I feel like we can have a special of you and Angie Kay, like, going to Greece and her changing her mind. Have you met Angie Kay? I did meet Angie Kay. I met her at the girls' trip, the Ultimate Girls' Trip. You did Ultimate Girls' Trip? What did I do? Did I do that? I just got what I did. It was, like, the old, the Bravo rep is shaking. Wait, what did I do? Very calm. I think it was. It was, like, the one that, like, all the girls got together and they were traveling and so it was, like, the grand finale and Angie Kay was there and I was like, oh, my God, I have to go up to you because you're Greek and Billy loves being Greek. We hear about it all day long and you, I do love Greece. You guys just went and she was like, I love Greece and she was beautiful and so nice. Gorgeous, gorgeous. High body count hair. Yes. Not on her. No. Do you watch any other housewife shows? I used to love the old Jersey. I haven't watched a new one. I was obsessed with Jersey. Well, people are saying that you guys are giving old Jersey. That gives me life because that's why I used to watch it. It reminded me of my family. Yeah. My aunt. So I felt like I was, like, in my kitchen or my dining room table sitting with them and I also love Utah, Salt Lake. Yeah, best. Love, for sure. Was Kelsey's boyfriend or her old ex-boyfriend the one that paid for everything? Like, how did she get him to agree to filming in the house? I heard that maybe that wasn't his house. So I don't know. Me and her never talked about that. So that's a true story. I swear to God, I've never asked. And I just kind of let her do her thing. Okay. And what's up with Rosie at the news station? She was the best newscast girl. Everyone thought she was so hot. Wait, but, so was it a thing in Rhode Island though at the time? Like, oh, Rosie's doing the news? I didn't watch the news then. So is that what you're talking about? I never watched the news. Yeah. Didn't watch the news. So I didn't know who she was. Is that what you mean? Like, I thought, like, was she like the talk of the town that she was the news anchor? Yeah, but I think what she will say for Rosie, yeah, my stepdad thought she was beautiful. Like, the older crowd, yes. Got it. And then why did she leave the job? She had colitis and she was bleeding through her ass. She said, which I almost died, I said, oh my God, girl, you are so real. I'd rather die than say that on TV. But that's why I love Rosie. But then didn't Kelsey say she lost the job because of an affair? That's not true. Not true? That's so not true. Okay, not true. No, promise. That's false. And I think that's why Rosie had such a hard time with her. Okay, right, because she's like, you're making shit. Why don't they get along? What do you think it is? All right, so I think that Rosie's not originally from Rhode Island. And so, like, we know, like, the people that are from Rhode Island, we know the whole background story of everyone. Like, I know Kelsey. I know everything about her. So, like, the fact that we didn't know who Rosie was and her background story and we were just going off of rumors, and I think that's what it was. Mean girl, a little. It was more like a mean girl, but yet she was like, I don't know your background story and I'm trying to figure you out. Yeah, but you had Rosie's back. But Kelsey's actually sweet. She seems sweet. But to her and Rosie, they aren't sweet together. Like, they're not good together. Was the reunion, did things get nasty? They're just, they're always going to be like, da-da-da-da, you know, da-da-da-da, you know? But I see Kelsey in a different light, but Rosie's obviously, I'm very close to Rosie. Real honest answer, what goes through your mind when Ashley cries? Like, good feet. I don't, I'm, I'm, like, waiting for her. I feel like it's like, you know, it's like oxygen to, like, breathing. It's like, okay, is it time? If she doesn't cry, I'm offended. If she cries, I'm a little offended, but if she doesn't cry, I'm offended. Yeah, yeah. I want her to cry. That's who she is. Oh, love that. Yeah. Have you been to Ashley's restaurant? Yes. Well, you've been, you went for trivia night, that I know. Right. But did you eat there? It's good. It's great. Billy loves it, yeah. Billy? Yeah, yeah, he loves it. It's cute. It's a vibe. Okay, as a restaurant owner, you think it's going Right, especially now. Like, he's vested. What is in this wine? Oh, I finished the thing. Let's have more. That's what's going on. We have a pour, a re-pour. A re-pour? Right away. A re-pour, fuck me. But the only way out is through, huh? I know, that's why you gotta keep going. Oh, my God, I'm obsessed with you. Keep going. I always called it the hair of a dragon, but I guess it was the hair of a dog. And it's summer. This summer is like giving, oh, thank you, Billy. Do you guys want pizza? Yes, they do. Have them, have pizza. They're starving. Everyone's starving. Let's eat. Let's eat. It's a pizza for everyone. Oh, my God. We love food. I can just tell that you have such a good soul. I do. No, I'm very real, but I'm 1,000% too. You do. Like, you have so much love to give, and it's such a joy to see on my television. So, I feel like I've been through a lot. Yeah. And I also, animals love me, babies love me, and I was a hairstylist my whole life. I've talked to women and men about that. You have problems. Right, okay. So, I just, like, I empathize with people. Like, I feel things. Some people can just, like, move on. I feel, like, people's energy. You're an empath. Yeah, and I understand it, and that's why I was, like, a flip-flop at the beginning because, like, I don't want to judge people. I feel it. I didn't think you were a flip-flop. I actually didn't think you were a flip-flop. I thought you were just trying to see every side. I was. Thank you for the, yeah. No, but I really did. I was like, Joellen, flip-flop, because she. She is. She's the one that gave me the name. Love Joellen, Jo Mellons. Love her. Love her down, but she is a flip-flop, but you, you're not a flip-flop. To be a flip-flop, you have to be calculated. I'm not. And you're just genuinely trying to understand everyone's POV. I wish I was more calculated to be on this show. I have no time. I'm 80 day. I can't even do homework. I can't backtrack. balance a schedule. What homework? I just, like, can't do any. Like, I have homework. Like, if I, like, for the way, for the business of this. But I wish, I envy that about Joellen. Wait, what, like, what would, like, homework, like, what would homework look like? Like, for, like, just, like, certain things. Like, we have to do this. We have to do this. Like, I don't like homework. I don't even, like, my daughter's homework, I get overwhelmed when she comes home. Does she ask you for help? I'm not good. So she goes to him now. Do you help? Yeah, I don't do the homework no more. I'm not good at it, so. Right. Not my thing. Does she like school, Selena? Loves. Loves? Loves. She's a social, she's my, she's my daughter. She's social. What was high school like for you in Rhode Island? What was it like? Like, what, like, would you go to Friday night football games? Like. So you're going to skeeve me. But I'm going to be honest with you. I was very popular. No, I really was. Like, were you, had, had Queen Bee? I was just, like, but, like, in a genuine way. I was friends with everybody. I wasn't just friends with the popular girls. I was friends with, like, the, like, everybody. I was, I loved all groups. But I was, like, where I would have to hide. So, like, if I went to the market. Right. And I also have a very big family in Rhode Island. Right, right. So in high school, like, I couldn't get a, I couldn't smoke a cigarette. Put it this way. Because I would get caught. I couldn't cut classes. I would get caught. Everyone was always trying to protect me. So you've always been famous? Like, when I was young. Billy, what happens when I, I hide from people? Tell them. I hide. What do you mean you hide? Like, so, like, we'd be at Garden City. I'd be like, oh, God. Like, and, and not, and I love people. But I also. You need your down time. So, yeah. Like, people, yeah. When did the doll obsession begin? I've always loved dolls. Uh-huh. Um, when I, if a doll's hair was out of place, I would smash it and throw it. As a kid, I think I had OCD, but no one knew about it. Oh, I have OCD. I think I do, too. How does it manifest for you? Not well. Not well, bitch. No, no, it's bad. And it's the point where, like, I don't let my daughter play with her dolls as much upstairs. But now she is. It's getting better. My house, my blanket. Like, it, like, today, when I told you my daughter came here and she didn't ever hear. Like, I have, I like things, I don't know. Yeah. I don't know. I can't explain it. I like things groomed. Yeah, yes. You know? Okay, so these are the tell me what's wrongs. We give the pussies advice. Okay. Okay. My wedding is next summer. And my fiance and I, oh, my God, you're going to hate this one, are going to Greece. Okay. Why? For two weeks, for their honeymoon. Okay. Oh, I kind of love the chaos. They're pissed. We have had this plan for months. One of my really close friends just said she wants to have her wedding a week after mine. I told her I'd be on my honeymoon and wouldn't be able to go to her wedding. And she said, yeah, like, I don't give a fuck vibes. What should I do? I'm really sad about it, but don't want to seem selfish for being upset. Okay, so it's a week away. She told her about it. And her friend, she's more mad that her friend's more like, no, I don't give a fuck. Yeah, that's what she's upset about. So I would be like, you know what? I'm so sorry. I would still give my peace so I could sleep at night. And then also just enjoy your wedding and let her focus on hers and let them let you, girl. Yeah. Yeah. Because that's, you have to say your peace or if it's going to eat you up a lot. Like, it will eat you up alive. Even if it's not right. Right. Right? Like, even if it's not right, like, you feel how you feel. You feel how you feel. And if you don't feel right and you're like, I don't like the way this landed, I still want to tell you I'm really upset. I can't go. I can't go. But I need you. I don't want to. I want you to enjoy your wedding. I'm going to enjoy mine. Do you think she should tell her I'm upset that you don't seem to care? Yeah. I would be like, oh, my God. How are you not sad, girl? Yeah. Like, we're besties. I want to be there. I want you to be there. Like, it bothers me, you know? Yeah. And maybe her friend doesn't know how to be emotional right now. Maybe she's just, like, caught up. Right. Right. And by the way, I just would like, ooh, Nolan, tell me what you think. Are you not eating? Oh, we need to see their reactions. I'm so excited. Oh, my God. No, bitch, I told you. That is so incredible. It's, like, actually. Insane. Insane. Insane. Like, you have a. Chicken Bacon Ranch used to be my favorite in college. Got me through life. Where'd you go? I went to school in Ohio. Really small school in Ohio. Okay. Because that's, like, one of his. Okay. Yeah. And this is insane. Yes. That's, like, the number one seller. Like, when I was drunk, this would save my life. Yes, girl. I really want you to know that you have. Bitch, your mama needs to come to New York. No. Oh, it's so. You got to go for the. You got to go for the experience. I mean, I want success for you. So, I do want it in New York. You should do a pop-up. Do a pop-up. Do a pop-up. Please. I would do a pop-up. I want to do, like, a bigger restaurant with a bar. Like, a cute bar. Like, I want to do it, like, cute. What would you call it? Pizza Mama. Oh. Oh, you want to do, like, a bigger Pizza Mama. This was, like, the. This was, like, the express store. It was, like, the tryout. Right. Because he didn't trust me. Right. With the whole vibe. Well, Billy, do you trust her now? Looking at what this ain't here. I trust her ideas. Okay. Good answer. But I really do. Like, she gets it in a way that I don't and don't see it. But when, like, to run the business, we'll leave that on my side of things. Well, 1,000%. That's fine. That's why you don't have to do a sketchbook. I know, but that's why it's a good team. Like, she sees. I never. I thought this was crazy. And people love it. Yeah. And it's this big. Good food. Good people. That's all that matters. It was small. This was supposed to be a quick thing. Get it up and running. You know, it was a little different than what we usually do. And I was just going to sell it. Like, it was going to be a quick flipper. And she didn't like the name. Do you see how we're so business? We're so not alike. Yeah, no, but that's right. You can't be so alike, or else that's not the thing. No, I know. But see, your story is like a history teacher. I feel like. It's, like, very history. She makes me laugh. Yeah. Do you just laugh all day with her? Most of the time. Yeah, he does. And then I get mad, and then he laughs. I said, all right. I wasn't even being funny. I think you are a history teacher, though. You like history? What's your favorite historical event? My favorite historical event? I mean, I love the story about the Peloponnesian War. It's so boring. It's so not my type. What? No, it doesn't matter. Maybe I don't like history. Yeah, I don't either. I don't either. He tells me history. I said, I can't be bothered. I also can't be bothered. Yeah. But I actually. Some of it I do. I'm good at. I used to do improvisation. Yeah. And I would, like, improvise historical skits. Yes. Like Romeo and Juliet. Yes. 1,000. Romeo and Juliet. Is that history? It should be, if it isn't. Is that poetry? Is that English? I don't know. Whatever. You're lying. No, I swear. You think Romeo and Juliet actually happened? I wish it did. It didn't? It's Shakespeare. He's a poet. But that's still, like, I feel like it had to happen in history. He's, like, is he a poet? I feel now I'm, like, is he? I don't know. Billy? That's where I was going. Billy! Is Shakespeare a poet or is he just a, like, a storyteller? Yeah, you're right. I knew you were right. All right. We don't need to get into the details. It's a quick quest. My boyfriend will not stop sending me Instagram reels. Like, one out of the 20 of them are funny or interesting. And it's becoming an ick that he's scrolling so much. I think he may be a little down in the dumps, though. So I don't want to pile this on top. How do I be gentle about it or should I just ignore it? I would ignore it. Billy does that to me all the time. I just, I actually feel bad when Billy does it. I'm, like, oh, he must miss me. He's, maybe it's, like, a card that he should have sent me or, yeah, no. I just, I just, like, I don't even answer them. I put them on silent. You have Billy on, you have him on silent. Yeah, what is it, Cole, and you just? Do not disturb. Yeah. I get it. Yeah. I don't answer them. He sends me a thousand. So I get you, girl. Does your daughter have a cell phone? No. Good. iPad. Good. Okay. So she's in. On restriction. Good. I didn't have a cell phone until I was 12, 13. And I needed it to, like, go and, like, do stuff. I don't believe in it, like, too young. Yeah, I completely agree. And she's going to be a better person for it, by the way. Yeah, I agree. Yeah, I, it's, kids are getting them way too young these days. It's like a drug for people. It's a drug for me. It's a drug for me. Yeah. When I get, do a post and I get likes, I'm literally, like, it feels like I just worked out. It's, isn't that crazy? It's a literal drug. I feel like we're the guinea pigs for, like, that experience. I miss, I miss, like, other stuff, you know? I hate that I go through my phone. I didn't know how to use my phone before I started for the show, by the way. I didn't even know how, I didn't even know how to use Instagram. I didn't know how to take a picture, nothing. Well, now you have Owen. But now I'm, yes, now I have Owen. That helps me so much. But I hate that I rely on people. Like, did I look good to see on Instagram? But you always look good. You know? You always look good. But it's still hard. It's like, I never relied on that. Do you feel like, is it weird perceiving yourself? Like, or watching others perceive you? Is that weird? It's weird because it's like, I don't ever want to stop talking. I don't want to stop talking about crackers. That's who I am. I eat them all the time, you know? But people love that. People respond well. But now I'm like, I think people are going to be like, oh, she's a sub-talker about crackers. But I don't realize I'm talking about it. It's just my nervous, it helps me. It's like, instead of doing drugs, I do crackers. Right. You know? Would you ever just, like, not read the comments? Do you not read or do you just log off? I've been getting better. I think you just need to log off and be you. Yeah. And then good things will come. Yeah. Because they are. Yeah. Because you are her. Yeah. I want to, I don't want to read the comments anymore. They take my phone. I almost fist fought. I tackled her this week. Good friends, by the way. Good friends. I literally tackled her. I was like, no, show me what she said about me. And she was like, give me my phone. I'm going to call, lucky you have them. I have a money here. She calls me and she's like, did you see what they said about you? Yeah, no, but guess what? Sometimes it's like, you know, ignorance is bliss. And I've lived that way my whole life. So I think it is, if I want to stay the same, I think I have to, like, block out the noise. Right, right, right. I'm in law school and hate all of my peers. They're snobby, preppy, know-it-all assholes who dress bad and are probably going to be sleazy lawyers. It sounds whatever, but it's genuinely making me rethink my career path and want to drop out. I want to do good things with this life. So how do I not let them win? Oh, my God, girl. Like, who cares who they are? Be you. Shine. And your light will be so bright. Let them lose. Let them be the sleazy lawyers that they are. And you do you. Stay true to who you are. And people will love that. You give really good advice. I don't. Do you think so? I think you do. Well, I was a hairstylist. I did it for years, FYI. Oh, what's the craziest story you heard when you were a hairstylist? What's the craziest one? Dang. You don't even know. Who slept with whose husband? They were switching and swapping. And they both didn't think that they knew it. But I knew about it because they knew. But they weren't. It was a nightmare. No, it was a lot. I've always heard stories. And that's why I loved my job. Because I love listening to people. When did you stop being a hairstylist? Like maybe two months before the show started. Okay. Yeah. Would you ever go back? Or are you on time? No. I'm done. Been there, done that. I did it since I was like 16. So, but now Kelsey is a hairstylist? Yes. Is she booking clients? I don't know. I don't know. I think she might do weddings. But she's not like a, I don't know. Is her ex still paying for everything? I don't think so. I hope, I don't know. Did you know her ex? I ran into him a few times. Was he hot? Yeah, he was like a good looking, like he was a catch back in the day for sure. Oh, like did you go to high school with him? No, no. Okay. He was just like, you know, I just think that when you have that much money, you have like an aura to you. I kind of agree. Yeah. And that's what he had, you know? Yeah. It's like big dick energy. Yes. BDE. BDE. BDE. My partner is an actor and just landed a role in something. The issue is, while I'm super happy for him because of how competitive it is. He told me there are multiple sex scenes. He plays like the fuck boy. I'm sure it's all professional and good and I haven't said anything about it, but it does genuinely bother me and we've never talked about that or really thought about it, but now I'm uncomfortable. I want to support him and I will, but how do I get over this in the meantime? Go out with your friends and take hot pictures with all different single people. I kind of agree. It's like, that's his job too. Yeah. Like you knew he's an actor, like you knew what you were signing up for. But that is tricky. I would have killed Billy, but I would be out every night of the week in my best outfits working out. Taking care of myself so no bitch can compete. Oh, I haven't been able to work out in weeks because my wrist hurts so bad. What happened to your wrist? Tendonitis. Oh, why? How? I was doing pull-ups. Oh no. I can do 12 in a row. You're so cute. I love you. I could even do one. I couldn't do one. And then you start doing them and you start doing it with a resistance band and then you just work your way up and you get there. But my wrist, look how swollen. You got to wrap it. I know. I've been wrapping it. I got acupuncture. I fell asleep at the acupuncturist. I fell asleep. There was like a heater over me. It was burning my head. The whole thing knocked over. Oh no. Wow. Yeah. Are you kidding? I swear. And he gave me like a little button to press for help and the button fell out when I fell asleep so I kept screaming, help, help, help. What's wrong with this place? That place is scary. No, I mean, he clearly knew what he was doing. He put the last needle in and I was out. Okay, good. No, oh my God, I'm going back tomorrow. I'm kind of hooked. All right, good. There you go. See? I love it. It's a party. Yeah, we'll go together. Yeah. The next time you're in New York, you'll love it. I have a really hard time becoming friends with my other friend's friends, if that makes sense. So like, yeah, I get that. I get it. Like, I have my group and when we party, they introduce me to all these people and I swear I turn into a brick wall. Like, honestly, I just don't care and I'm worried they think I'm rude for it. Do you think there's a balance between pleasant and honest or do I just need to be fake? Fake it until you make it, have a drink, loosen up, and don't think about it too much because when you think about it too much, you turn into a stone wall. Just have fun. Right. You might have something in common, you know? Just start to drink. Have a drink. Like a half a, even if you don't drink, have like a few sips. Like, everyone's friends after a few sips. That is very true. When did you first start? Like, how old were you when you had your first drink? I think I was like 16, 17. You know, I was like a very good girl and I had like a few sips and I was wasted. I'm still like a very much of a lightweight. Right. Okay. Got it. Which I love. I mean, it's the best thing in the entire world. But I get hangovers very easily. Do lightweights get hangovers more than heavyweights? Yes. Okay. Because it sucks. And people can like drink all night and then go out and work out the next day when I'm in bed. And they had 10 drinks. I had two. And I'm like in bed. Like, that pisses me off. Yeah. What's your hangover result like? Oh, I'm terrible. I do the eye patches. Billy. Billy. You know. Billy. I can't get it. But yeah, Billy. Billy. Peppermint oil. Tylenol. Liquid IV. And TB. Do you ever get an IV? Or do you not like needles? Oh, I love an IV. I love an IV. We are so similar. I love an IV. But I wish they came to my house when I had a hangover. I'm not driving. This is prime opportunity for any IV person to go to Alicia's house and give her an IV. And I also get tired all the time. I'm a fragile flower. Yes. Please help her. Yes. Help me. She can't drive. I'm tired. I'm fragile. I get weak. Seriously. My roommates got a second cat without asking me. I was already generous with the first one. And they're like a couple. So my friend's boyfriend already had one when he moved in. But they came home the other day saying they found it on the street and decided to help it. Very sweet of them. But they got attached and want to keep it. I'm going to kill myself. Please. What should I do? Oh, my God. See, I love animals. Wrong question. Just, you know, you might like play with a cat. Pet her. What's your favorite animal? I love a dog. I love a pig. I love a horse. I love a pig. I love a pig. I just made that up. Yeah. On Cameo just now. That's what just happened. Yeah. Wait. Did you do that on purpose just now? Or did. No, I literally love a dog. I love a cameo. But, you know, I love all. I love all animals. You know, your cameo sounds have gone viral. I had to get off. Why? Which I'm so sad about. Why? Because. Bravo said enough. No, it was just like getting to. I felt like I was trying to please everybody and I couldn't get them all out. And it was taking up too much of my day. And I was getting headaches. So I was like, I need a break. You know what you do? You bring them back for like one day and one day only during Christmas. The holiday season when people are feeling sad. But I love them. I feel like it helps me. So why don't you just do. Owen. It's too much. Owen, can you help her get back on Cameo? Yeah, let's do it. Yeah. It was too much, though. I was like wasting my day looking at my phone. You need to have someone make the cameo, put the phone away, watch TV. Yes. Yes. Yeah. So what a day, maybe. What a day. What a week. So I've been completely in love with one of my closest friends for a while. And she is giving such mixed signals. She's always dating or talking to some random guy. But she keeps telling me that she would much rather be dating a girl. She drunkenly pulled me aside at a bar to kiss me one night. But claims it was just silly fun. She's actually so evil. How do I move forward to something better? Go make out. Go make out with another girl right in front of her and see how jealous she gets. And if she doesn't get jealous, she doesn't give a shit. Yeah. Hello? Right? Yeah. You give great advice. Oh, because I've been there, done that with this all. Yeah. By the way. I've been really annoyed lately when people tell me I'm a really nice person. Growing up, I always thought it was a compliment. And I wanted to be known that way. But recently, as I navigate the back half of my 20s, I'm realizing I just might be coming across as a pushover. And I have no backbone. I will always be a good friend and person to the people I love. But I don't want to be a doormat. What's your advice to change my narrative? First of all, there's nothing wrong with being nice. That's what I think, too. And if people have a problem with that, that's their problem. Let them go hang out with all the devils and the assholes. And then see where they're going to always want to go back to a nice person. Right. So they didn't live enough. Exactly. Tell them they didn't live enough. Is Dolores going to be filming more next season or no? I don't know. I hope so. I do like her. I do. Do you know? How long have you known Dolores? I only met her when she started filming with us. Okay. But I watched the show and she was always one of my favorite housewives. Yeah, yeah. She was on New Jersey, right? Yes, and I love Jersey, so. I was a big Salt Lake, Beverly Hills, and I just kind of got through a few seasons of New York. Yeah. I never watched New York. I need to. It's great. Yeah. Scary Island is great. But it's just, I think, at the time, do you know what I'm talking about, Scary Island? No. Okay. So they all went on a girl's trip, like Bethany Frankel and them, and Kelly Bensimone went into psychosis. Oh, really? Yeah. Really? Yeah. Oh, right. I got to watch this. Scary Island? Yeah. But it's like. For now, that's an episode of Rhode Island, you know? Yeah, yeah. But now it's like, at the time, it was so major. Right. Am I explaining this right? Yeah. I need to watch Scary Island. Did you ever watch Bad Girls Club? No. America's Next Top Model? No. A little bit, I watched it. Okay, okay. Those were my reality shows back in the day, for you. Okay. Car troubles follow me like a damn shadow. I cannot catch a break where it's almost like every other month something is wrong with my car. I'm convinced that I have actual voodoo bad luck. I know you can't help with that, but what are ways I can keep my cool? I always lose it every time something like this happens, and I'm tired. Oh, my God, girl. I feel you. Girl, oh, boy. I feel you. I get it, especially with your car. You're like, I'm so tired. It's so much money. I'm putting. It's like a money pit. You want to know what? Just keep going. It'll come back, and it'll move on. Yeah. Just, like, let it go. What do you mean? Just keep going. Let the car fucking run itself into the ground. Yeah, like. So, push it down. Push it down. Push it down. And let it keep going. Until it all explodes. Until you get good out of it, you know? There'll be a good part of it. You never know. Has that ever happened, where you push something down, and then something good happens? Yes. It's crazy. That's why I said that. Like what? Just, like, so many accidents, and this and that. And then, all of a sudden, it's like, a good thing happens. And you're like, you know what? This is why I went through hell. It's wild. I know it's crazy, but, like, literally, it happens. It happens. I love the way you live life. I'm trying to live. You're living. I'm living. Have you ever been to Vegas? Yes. I would love to go to Vegas with you. I love Vegas. How long can you stay there, though? Three days, four days. I love to shop, and I like the shows, you know? Uh-huh. I love a nightclub. I love to shop. I love to shop. Yes. Shopping's the best. Retail therapy is real. That's real. It's real. That's really healing. That's real to me. Me too. Yeah. It is. Hey, Jake, this girl that lives in the door across from ours keeps asking to get ready and go to parties and events with me and my best friend. We are barely friends with her, but I feel so bad saying no. It honestly impacts our environment every time because it's awkward, and we have to make a lot of conversation. So you're meeting a new person. How do we solve this without being mean to her? You don't. Just hang out with the girl. Just, like, go leave the room and never let her see you. I would take off any time that she would. Oh, you wouldn't hang out with her? Oh, was she, like? They're like, I feel bad that this girl cleared. doesn't have many friends. Oh, just go. Go for an hour and then take off. So you go to the bathroom and you don't feel good. But go. Yeah, right? Like, it probably makes her day or her night. Yeah, go. Go. My boyfriend was blacked out on a night out and literally got arrested for assaulting an officer. This is so incredibly out of character for him as he pretty much never drinks. He handled it well and paid his own bill. Good. Well, I'm glad. We've been together almost a year. Is this a red flag or a one-off incident? Oh, um, I mean, I would consider it a red flag, but give him another try. You never know. Red flag, though. It's an assaulting officer. What do you think? That's a big deal. Probably. But maybe he was just drunk. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Just keep the alcohol away from him. Yeah, maybe he's bad with alcohol. Yeah. Well, Alicia, what did we learn today? I learned so much about different people, but I also learned that you've never had a grinder. You didn't know what a grinder was. You got to have a pizza chip. I'm about to house this the second we're done. I think you're so incredible and I'm so happy that you love The Housewives of Rhode Island. It is the best show on television if you haven't seen it. Watch it. I won't watch it, so that's why. Right, right. Good. You shouldn't. Well, you probably actually should. Yeah. Right? Because for the reunion, don't you have to prep? Yes, yeah. I had to do that. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Meh. Yeah. It's all right. You sat right next to Andy, though, I saw. I did. I like Andy a lot. I love Andy. He's awesome. I was so nervous when I first met him. I was like, oh my God. I was starstruck. And then I was like, he's so nice. I loved him. Yeah, he's awesome. Yeah. Bye, pussies. I love you all. Thank you for being a pussy. I have to call someone. I have to call Manny. Who's Manny? FaceTime Manny. Is this about me? Is this about me? Hi. Where are you? Why aren't you here? Why aren't you here? Why? We have pizza chicks. My grandma is visiting. I'm literally on my way to go get her lunch. Oh my God, you're so cute. I love that you love your grandma. You're so cute. I love my grandma, but I also love you. I'll meet you one time. We have to meet. And I'm so sad. No. And her dog is dying, too. What kind of dog? Oh, why are you telling me this is my dog? Because I love dogs. No, you don't know what I am like with dogs. I'll go to, I will die. What kind of dog? I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. It's okay. It was a Chihuahua, Italian Greyhound. That's my dog, Wolfie. Why are you doing this? Billy, a Chihuahua. That's my dog. I am so sorry. I live for that dog. Don't do this to me. Wolfie, what was your dog's name? I'm so sorry. How old? Lenny. Oh, 15's a good age, though. All right, I feel, I feel help. Okay. He was 16. Oh, 16. So we lived a good life. Okay, Manny, well, we love you. Manny, we love you. Sorry about that dog. I love you both. Love you both. Love you, Manny. I miss you. Thank you so much. Bye.
