In this inaugural episode of the C-rated podcast, host Chrissy Daily introduces her central philosophy: "separate to elevate." She argues that meaningful growth and evolution require deliberate separation from various aspects of life—not just people, but also material possessions, conversations, environments, and even daily consumption habits like TV shows and social media. Chrissy candidly shares her personal journey, including a traumatic event that led her to seek validation and connection from others, resulting in surrounding herself with "takers" and "users" who drained her energy. She realized that overgiving and forcing relationships, friendships, or content creation were keeping her stagnant and preventing her from reaching new levels of personal and spiritual development. By pulling back her energy, letting go of unfulfilling relationships, decluttering material items, and stepping away from negative environments, she experienced significant elevation in her life. She emphasizes that change is necessary for growth, and while it can be hard to say goodbye to people or things, it is vital to choose oneself. Chrissy encourages listeners to honestly assess whether their current circumstances—people, places, and habits—are serving them or hindering their progress. She stresses that forcing what isn't meant for you delays what is, and that separation, though sometimes guilt-inducing, is a valid and necessary reason for transformation. The episode concludes with a call to action for listeners to reflect on their own lives and embrace the journey of separating to elevate.
Hey guys, welcome to the C-rated podcast. A podcast where we spread love like transparency and we just open up and be really getting to some things above for here. I'm your hostess with the most this Chrissy Daily and come on in and bring it on in all of that. Okay, if you're watching me from YouTube, make sure you go ahead and like, comment, share, and subscribe. And if you're, there's listening, if you're just chilling, listening to your girl, do what she do, I really appreciate you. (laughs) Yeah. So you guys, this is my first episode ever and I'm like so excited. I'm so, so, so excited. Like, I know it might be a little round-chilla, you know, long, long, long, long, long, long. But you know, it's just gonna be real, it's just gonna be me. We're gonna make it a better experience as I learn the few. I do have some cards and everything of what I'm supposed to be talking about because your girl, do get out of top of your mind. Let's be going and going and going back to bed. Dude, got it, got it. (laughs) Okay, the mind is be going, the mind do it alone. Okay. Yes, you guys, I'm so excited about this first episode. Okay, so let's get into the topic. Let's get into the topic at hand. Okay, so today's topic, we're gonna be talking about separating to elevate. Okay, or just separate to elevate. Let's start topic for today. That's on episode one. We're just gonna hit 'em with a bangle. Okay, we're just hitting it with a bangle, just giving it to 'em. Okay, yeah. Come on in, bring it on in, all of that. I do believe you have to separate yourself to elevate. Like, this is a strong belief for me. Like, I believe you have to. You have to separate yourself from server things and we're gonna get into some things. Okay, rather it's a minute of having to separate or it's a month, a year, a decade, a century. I feel like you do have to separate yourself to be able to grow, to be able to elevate, to be able to evolve into who it is. You're trying to become, or the next level of who you're trying to be just all of the above. I do believe you do have to separate to elevate. Separation is very necessary for growth and evolution. Like, it's a big thing. And I really feel like a lot of times in this generation or this world of people, we just feel like, oh, I'm gonna keep doing this. It's been, I always did this and this always, what I've been doing. Okay, but is it working? Now, sometimes you could do the same thing and you can be getting the same outcome. A lot of times when you do the same stuff, you do the same stuff and you get the same outcome. Okay, so if it's an outcome that you want, then I mean, be my guest. Keep doing what you're doing. If it's the outcome you want, but if you want change, if you really want to grow to the next level, it is a requirement to separate yourself on some type of level, okay? And I know a lot of times we talk about separating from people, but it's not just the people. It could be materialistic things. It can be the conversations. It can be the environment. It's so many things that you would have to really tap into and see what's not working for me anymore. Is this serving me? I'm not seeing the results I want to see. And you really have to really ask yourself those questions. Like you really have to really get to a point where you pretty much talking to yourself. Okay, you got to really do a lot of work. Background work, shadow work. Now I know some people call it shadow work. You really have to do that work. And ask those self these questions. Like is this serving me what I'm doing every day? The people I'm hanging around every day, is this serving me? Is this going to help me elevate and move to the next level? Is this going to get me to where I'm trying to go? And I don't know where y'all trying to go, but your girl over here trying to get to heaven. So I've been doing a lot of personal growth, a lot of personal. Let's just really talk about it. Like a lot of stuff has been very personal, you know? And I know like to others, it could seem like it's not personal but it's a very personal. When you are trying to elevate, it's very personal. It's not about anybody else, anything else. It's all about you. I don't ever want y'all to feel bad for wanting better for yourself. You know, people, let's get into it. Let's really get into it. 'Cause your girl really finna get it to some times. Okay, like I'm really finna get it to some times. I really got like a whole car note thing of what we gonna be getting into. And I know if you that's listening to me on the platform, you not seeing me with the car to my hand, everything. But if you on YouTube, you see these cars up my hand and your girl. Really finna get it to some times. Okay, so with the first thing I'm gonna go ahead and talk about is pulling your energy back. This is something that I know all too well. Like I have always been a person that overgives, overgives, overgives. Like I don't even have to know the person. And I know it's just because of the heart I was blessed with. You know, I have a giving heart. I give a lot. I would give a stranger my last. You know, like the people you see on the street and the homeless people and that's a person in need. And I would get in my last because, you know, like it's just, I know I'm gonna get it back 10 fold. 'Cause the guy I don't play about me. And I'm not trying to push this off on people that's not spiritual or don't have that type of belief or anything. I'm not trying to push my beliefs off on y'all, but I'm just speaking and being raw and being real. God don't play about me. And I know every time I do give, I'm not never lacking. You know what I'm saying? Because God is always on my side. And so I'm not never lacking. But back to the topic at hand, separating to elevate. I had to learn to pull back my energy. Because like I said, I've always been a person that always gave more than I received, you know? And well, that I received from other people. And I just had to really evaluate that. And I would give, give to some people around me at the time. And I would feel like I was just loved for the, or I was just loved with whatever, you know? And I'm gonna rewind it back to a few years ago. Like I went through a very, very tragic situation. And I will open up about that on another episode. But on this particular episode, I'm just gonna stick to the topic. I did go through a very tragic situation that left me like my mom bubbling. I was just really trying to feel a void, like feel a hole and feel a hole within myself. At the time, I felt like I needed more. Like I wasn't seeking God the way I was supposed to. And I felt like I needed more and more from people. And I just wanted to be around people because of the situation I went through. And I ended up being around people that I feel like was not for me. Like at the end of the day, I feel like it was for a lesson. It was a lesson in it all. And that lesson was to tell me, it showed me, this was the company that you keep. Like I had to watch the company that I keep. Because and why I have those people around me. And I know why I particularly have those people around me. And then I will have, I don't know, me being like a giving person. I will have some people around me that were takers. Okay, users, takers. They gonna take, take, take to, they can't. Okay. And it didn't stop until I removed myself and separated myself. And then I started seeing more of elevation within myself. I wasn't seeing all of these things in the midst of hanging around everybody. But before I will begin hanging around everybody, I was just out in my own zone. Even though I went through a trace situation, I was just in my own move, my own zone. I was doing my own thing. And I was elevating then. And like I said, I was strictly on the rise. I was like, I was strictly on, it was like me and God. Me and God and family, I was just strictly on that. And I wasn't having too many people around me. But then the industry that I was in, which is the beauty industry. I will continue to do services with people. So then, you know, I would get invited to things and events and parties and clubs and all of these different stuff. And I just got, I got more out of my comfort zone. And I just started stepping out doing a lot of stuff that I don't normally do. Like I just was hanging around with a lot of people that I normally wouldn't be around. And I just, yeah, I just got out of my comfort zone and I kind of lost track of who I am and what I'm trying to do here. What I'm doing with my time here on this earth. And so once I pulled back my energy and I just started to begin to stay to myself and everything, everything shifted and changed like for me. Like I had to really stop forcing in. I'll say that whole Harley like, don't force nothing. Don't force it. 'Cause what's for you will always be for you. Who is for you will always be for you.
Okay, always note it. Let's take clicks into your mind, your brain, and everything, you know exactly who you are. You know exactly what you're supposed to be doing. And so at the time, I, this would hang out with anybody, like, not, I wouldn't say anybody because, no, I ain't gonna, I ain't gonna pull that like that. I would just be around people, just like I said, to feel myself up. To feel whole, to feel love, to feel once it, because of the situation I went through. And I will, like, open up more about that in another episode, like I said, because it's kind of hard for me to really get into some things, things on it, without telling y'all what I'm talking about. I had to pull back my energy. I had to reevaluate myself. I was talking to a friend about this last weekend, and we were talking about the same thing, about polio energy back. Because once you pull your energy back, people don't like that. People don't like that. They see, they see it as you acting funny, you being weird, you, you're not being who you used to be. And I honestly feel like you have to change in order to grow, you have to change something. You have to change something. Like I said, it doesn't matter if it's the people, materialistic things, the environment, the conversation, you have to change something. And at the time, I felt like I wasn't changing. I wasn't growing. And once I started hanging around a lot of people, bringing a lot of people in my space and my energy, I was like me, my mind, my body, me working out and everything consistently, my mind, my spirituality. I feel like all of that stuff was declining in a way. Like it wasn't growing, it wasn't reaching a new level. I wasn't reaching a new height. So it took me to sit in my own energy to be able to sit with myself, sit in my own energy to be able to say, yeah, this is not working for me. That is not no longer serving me. This person is not for me. Everybody is not a bad person. And it's not that the person is a bad person or the people are not bad people or the materialistic things is not it. It's just that it served its purpose then. And now where I'm headed, it has no purpose. And so that's just where I was at with it. Yeah, we can really get into it and we're gonna definitely get into it. Okay, so moving on, you continue to force what is not for you, who is not for you, you prolong what is for you. You put a stop to it, you put a hold on it. You put a hold on. Like I said, you guys, I'm a person that believes in God and I believe that God will continue to put the same type of people in different bodies in your face until you learn your lesson. And I feel like he kept doing it. He kept doing it to me. The reason why I had these type of friends then and the reason why I don't have these type of friends now and then the different friends that I have now coming into my life now versus what I did then. Different type of sociies, different type of work partners that I have now versus the people that I will work with and be friends with and go out with then versus now. Everything happens when it's supposed to and it happens at a divine time and it's gonna happen on his time and I feel like once I removed myself from certain individuals, I began to see elevation in my life. I wasn't having any problems and then it was kind of like a taste tester, I would say. Prime example, like a person had hit me up there. I had stopped talking to you know and I have a lot of love for this person and you know, it is hard to say goodbye to people when you need to choose you at the end of the day. You do need to choose you but it is hard for you to say goodbye in a relationship in a platonic relationship with friends. It's hard to say goodbye. Work friends, work people, partnerships. Sometimes it is hard to say goodbye. And yeah, like I was saying, Prime example, I had someone hit me up and I actually started trying to like be back in that circle and it was like when they hit me up, I saw the red flag there, you know? And I kind of like was trying to speak positivity to them like I'd be doing and giving my advice. A lot of times people come to me for advice on relationships because I have been in a relationship for about 10 years, the same partner and I have kids and I have kids with this partner. And I just, a lot of people come to me about relationship advice that come to me about business advice, that come to me about just advice in general because they just love the advice that I give them. And sometimes like you that's constantly being the one that always giving the advice all the time and you don't really have a person that, you know, you don't really have those friends or those type of people that give that back to you and it can be a little draining. So when the person was coming to me, they were coming to me about basically their drama, you know? And I was just like, okay, yeah, I'm not on this no more. That is not me, like that's why I took like a completely year off or year to off from even communicating with you because I'm a changed person and I'm not. I honestly can't say I'm a changed person than who I was a couple of few years ago, okay? Like I'm definitely not that person anymore. I do have some type of like things I gotta work on but overall in general, I have changed in several ways from who I used to be. And I can honestly say like when they was coming to me about that I didn't want to like brush them off like and be mean, but sometimes you do have to like, you gotta be like, yeah, and this don't entertain it. You just gotta not entertain it and just move on, move on. And sometimes people don't understand that you cannot be that person that you were for them then because you're not even that person anymore and you have elevated from that level of thinking, that level of conversating, like you don't even conversate on it type of stuff anymore. You're not even on that, you know? And that's what people be feeling realized. Like you're not even on the same stuff that they are on. Like you're not even, but we're not on it. We on a whole different thing up over here. We're trying to make some shit happen. We ain't doing it up over here, okay? We ain't. And some people don't like that. They don't like that. It's you acting funny and I noticed that like when I started to like kinda pull my energy back, even when I was still communicating with some people, I would pull my energy back and I would just chill out and then see, you know, I'd be working on me behind the scenes. I would be just talking to people and communicating with people that I feel like was serving me at the time. But I still was holding on to enforcing the relationship when I knew it was pretty much dead from this several experiences that was going on within our relationship. And I should have been cut it off and I should have been let it go and I should have been let them people go because it wasn't serving me no more. And yeah, but I just kept holding on to it. I just kept doing it and kept doing it. I know everybody's relationship is imperfect and I feel like I could have communicated more within some of these relationships. But some of these people, it was like, you know, like exactly how I feel about you, you showed it. You showed me exactly who I thought you were. Like, I had to stop always trying to see the good and people, the potential, you know what I'm saying? And that's what we'd be feeling to realize. Like we try to force some stuff because we feel like the potential of it, oh, if I, if I plant this seed here, yeah, it is, it's, um, the potential of the girl girl, but you ain't watering it. But you ain't putting no, you ain't watering it. You ain't putting no effort in it. They not putting no effort. But we constantly want to see the potential, the potential. And we, we hold on to a potential and then the person never gets there. Friendship never grows. We constantly talking about the same stuff and then we, we're gonna have another episode all about friends and relationships, but on this particular episode, we're gonna stick to the topic, but I know it go hand in hand. Like you constantly want to hold on to the potential of who somebody is and you constantly want to hold on to the potential of where the relationship could go, the friendship could go, the job could go, you know what I'm saying? And it's not that, like you gotta really stop forcing stuff and even on a business aspect, like as a content creator, I try the news things and stuff and I constantly try to see what my audience will want different because I begin kind of bored with and a little burnt down on stuff, so I try to switch things up a little bit, but you're not getting that engagement. You know, they don't want to see that. Like forcing content that your audience don't want to see. And I know like you can build like another audience and everything, I know the whole little thing about that. If y'all want an episode, don't ever can do that. But I know like the whole little thing is still, but it's kind of like you forcing it on them and then it makes them not want to engage with it. makes them not want to even see it, makes them not even care.
They don't want to talk about it, they don't want to get it, they don't want to comment, they don't want to do nothing on your stuff Because you force and it really own them and they don't care You know what I'm saying? So and it's kind of like that even in relationships and friendships like you forcing this to work out you forcing you Holding on to this friendship by a three for the potential Of it getting further even in the content pressing this content on people For the potential of people wanting to like it. It's only kind of like a handful of people that's going to engage with it Because they did like everything you do But in a sense like you still forcing in you not getting the numbers that you want you're not seeing the growth You're not seeing the elevation of it all and so I had to really stop forcing things at the end of the day Do you want to come to that but I had to stop forcing things and once I stopped forcing things and this let things flow There's let things be what it's going to be the kind of people that's when them color started showing When I backed up away from them It was oh she acting funny go hit her up. You go hit like if we was in a friend group and I know a friend And we all hang out in like a group and then I got another friend from another group and then it's like a group Like I have like different freeing groups and so in one group if I'm kind of dry Texting them because they talking about something that I really don't want to engage in you know Because I'm trying to change who I am. I'm trying to be on the whole different streak now and you still on that same thing And you not getting my drill. Then it's like oh she acting funny on the other person It's in a friend group to go hit me up to see if they get in the same response You know and that kind of stuff was like so annoying, but then at the same time is it's like Ain't nobody on it no more like it's nothing this relationship ain't we not doing nothing This friendship we ain't doing nothing like we ain't talking about nothing for real and I had to understand it like the Conversations are definitely different. Well, you want to hold different things. You're trying to do your own thing You're trying to do you're trying to be a different person You're trying to get a different outcome. So you know you have to turn into a different person for the better You know you have to change some things you got to change the conversations that you talk about with these certain people And then if they can't change the conversation that you got to change the people I had to move around because the conversations getting old and I'm not getting nothing out of these And then when it came to me always being the giver I'm always feeling others cup and I'm not really seeing that in return I'm over doing myself for you and I'm not seeing it in return. It's not serving me It's not serving me to it's not fulfilling to me. I do like to give to others, but I Feel like I was overgiven at the end of that was overdoing. I was overgiven. I was like it was just O.D. O.D. And so I just really had to sit back with myself and evaluate and I gave it like I gave it some time I gave it some time and I just had to let people go I had to let people go I had to let materialistic things like I said if y'all know me y'all know that your girl be putting it on Okay, be putting it on be putting it on for real and I Had to let go of a lot of things like I'm like okay girl. Yeah, let's really get rid of it Okay, let's get it. Let's get it out of here So I had to back up a lot of stuff I had to get rid of a lot of stuff to somebody who could possibly could possibly work out for To somebody who who would love it who could possibly work out for Who enjoy these clothes these items these things who Who seemed to like these things and I don't really like it is just sitting around collecting dust or is not even collecting They're just sitting around when nothing with it's not being used. I just have to get rid of stuff Like I had to get rid of materialistic things. I had to get rid of people I had to get rid of the stuff that I Consume on the daily that it's not serving me TV shows that I will be watching like I used to watch reality TV show I do not watch reality TV show. I feel like the only reality TV show that I watch is probably like Really state I love a real estate show like I love the real estate show selling Tampa and Selling sunset. Yeah, your girl is one of those like I like I like shows like that Like I guess like knowledgeable TV shows. I like knowledgeable TV shows I don't really care about like other type of TV shows. It's not really that Important to me. They ain't nothing. Then I'm just really like oh my gosh Just Monday. Let me hurry up and get there's Wednesday and let in this show is coming on and I'm really I don't really care For like reality TV shows when it comes to their synops but I do like knowledgeable TV show that you can learn stuff from But I had to watch what I was consuming even the internet like I had to watch what I was consuming on the internet I had to separate myself from The internet like even though the internet is something that I do as a content creator I had to just begin to get on here post my things Engage a little bit and hop off. It's not something that I get on there and Stay on all day and is this probably would never be that Honestly, even before it wasn't there, but I do feel like a few years ago I was like heavenly on my social media stuff and I was seeing the numbers and things and you know, I just would be on there too much and It would just be like a lot of shade a lot of negativity like when I post something I was seeing negative stuff behind what I'm posting negative feedback. I get a lot of positive feedback Don't get me wrong. You know, a lot of times the people that's being negative. They be fans in a real life Okay, in a real life. I just had to beg up from it I don't do such media as much as I used to do, but I do post my stuff and then I remove myself out fully I just had to be careful of what I'm consuming and I'm still careful I'm still working. I'm still in the works everything that I'm talking about today Everything I'm talking about so you guys today is still in the works, you know, I'm saying because I'm not perfect every day I have to wake up and choose me. I have to wake up and choose myself. I have to wake up and with people hitting me up All that's to this. I haven't seen you. Let's hit up. Let's do this. Let's do that I have to choose me because I know what you own and Especially if you had his people on social media, you are already be knowing what they own the stuff They sure you still know where they eat you still where they mind it and I'm really chained The stuff they make your statuses and post about you still know what they own. So yeah, I just had to like remove myself Like it was very important that I separated myself from certain things and certain people in certain conversations In certain environments like let's really get into that so the environments I think like in my younger years and like teenager don't you know you I was doing parties and clubs and everything But I became a mom when I was 19 Like two two months before my 20th birthday. I was I became a mom, you know, so A lot of this stuff had stopped a lot of stuff had stopped But I was still trying to hold on to that. I still wanted to do what young people were doing I still wanted to get out and do my thing and I just began to stop it beginning to get real old to me the environment The people that will you would see like the same people there and it is was like getting very Drained so I do still have friends and people that I communicate with that like to engage in these environments They still like to do that and I don't judge them. This is what they do, but me personally I know that that is not for me. I can do it here once in a blue moon We celebrate in your birthday. You have no little party here. You're doing a lunch party here You're doing this you're doing it and you're going to the club here but every day Every weekend Mm-hmm. If I honestly went out every time somebody invited me I would be out every other day and then it will leave me no time to do what I'm doing now It will leave me no time for personal growth and it will have me stagnant Which is the reason why I even started my journey of Separating to elevate okay, like it will just have me stagnant So I'm not very interested in those environments anymore. Like I said sometimes my friends are having something I come But I ain't gonna stay long because the stuff that's ain't for me, you know, it's not for me And I like to be at home. You know how they be like I'm in a bed by nine Yeah, I'm one of those. I'm in a bed by nine Yeah, I want to go to bed by nine So yeah, that's definitely me. I want to be in a bed by nine ten o'clock I want to be doing what I want to do. I want to see my kids I want to be hanging out with my kids and my family like I don't I don't be want to be out with child out of time Baby, let's take in the in the group chat. Let's do the group chat Because I'm really not interested in them type of environments no more and I'm just like They invite me, but you know only a bare minimum people that get it get it because it's the end of the day If you are talking to me or if you know me personally, you know that I'm a parent You know that I'm in a relationship, and you know that I'm a parent and you know that I A lot of responsibilities right there on hand right there at hand being a parent is a lot maintaining a healthy relationship It's a lot Okay, so it takes work for these things and I can't be given to everybody else and then forgetting about my household so a lot of times like I
be like yeah I want to go I guess I'll go out but then when I get there it's not all it. It's not that for me because I feel out of place because I am out of place. I feel out of place because I am out of place. Okay like it's not for me anymore and I don't need to be doing it and wrong time wrong place that that's so real within itself. You could be somewhere that you ain't supposed to be. You know you ain't supposed to but you could feel it in some happen you know so you just need to know when to remove yourself for you to grow. In certain situations being in certain environments can affect your growth like you can honestly live in a very very bad neighborhood crazy neighborhood you could become a product of your environment because of where you're staying and like they say like you are who you attract that's so real like I'm seeing her having these certain type of environments around me because that's who I am having this type of people around me because they were a reflection of who I am. So I had to really like sit back and think about that and I was just like yeah maybe I ain't now I know better I know better I ain't one of them yeah yeah Chrissy Daily ain't never been one of them. Okay so I really had to sit back and think about that and I had to really change up some things like I really had to if I didn't stop engaging in certain conversations and hanging around certain people I wouldn't be at this level of elevation that I'm at now and all the glory to God because he's pulled me out through a lot of that he's pulled me out through so much through that through the dark times that I was going through and he was there for me when other people that I had around me could not be. So I'll go to God and myself this person here putting in his work like this even this one and I do this even one and better for myself because it takes you wanting better for yourself. It takes you wanting better for yourself to even want to change you wanting better you're going to try to make some changes if you want it better enough you're going to make some changes so it took definitely that to happen for me to be able to just be on this level of evolving this level of being healed and I do feel like traumas and stuff that I've been through because I've been through a lot and I've been through a lot as a child and as a child as a teen as an adult I've been through a lot of stuff and I'm sure a lot of us have yeah I just feel like that does play a role when you don't heal fully from those situations and things it does play a role on your your conversations your people you have around you you want to track the same people who didn't been through all the same stuff you went through because you think it's relatable and then they constantly going through a whole bunch of stuff and they constantly battling all of these different people in a mind and and then it boils down to having your energy like I got to watch the energy y'all have around I'd be honest like I would know about the energy I would know about like how how like contagious energy is but I really wasn't tapped in for real like how I am now with it like I just was like I would see that a person acting funny because I am very emotional intelligent and I would see or feel how the person is acting towards me or I would see or feel how I'm responding to certain things and environments and stuff I would be like why am I feeling like this why do I feel like this oh no they're not doing that to me I just think they I didn't think I'm in my head get out your head but then it will be a repetitive thing and I just kept forcing the issue of me being around this like I said to feel to feel whole and it wasn't helping me growing no way it was this honestly keeping me stagnant while I'm sending her giving importance to everybody I'm watching them grow they're growing they're growing they're or at least it seemed like they were growing you know I'm saying I'm helping them they're taking my advice they doing a thing and everything but nobody was doing that with me I'm with them receiving it wasn't reciprocating okay I have to remove myself I'm like this is not over here serving me I need to go with who I serve and do what he told me to do you know and it's not no hard feeling to other people and what what has happened and why our relationship is not there no more and all of that it's not even that it's just it was very personal for me I feel like these last five years very personal this has really been a very personal but I feel like it really got very personal in 2021-2022 it got very personal for me being like it was very personal and it's still very personal I don't feel bad about it honestly like honestly I don't feel bad about separating myself in order for me to grow and I can't feel bad about it first I used to feel bad and so I was like chatting about it praying about it chatting with some people that I trust and then praying to God and just trying to get confirmation on my moves you know because you got to be accurate moving right everybody want to talk about you having motion you really got to be moving for real you got to be moving correctly you can be on got motion I got motion you got to be having you got to be having the correct motion okay do you have the correct motion so it that's how it was for me and honestly like I don't feel bad for for separating myself from materialistic things environments conversations and people I will never feel bad for that because if it's meant to be you will come back around the things will be bald again that I that I got rid of um the environment will come back around you know if that stuff is meant for me it will be and like I say I stopped forcing stuff and it just I just started letting stuff be what is going to be and I honestly feel like when it come down to people people do see that you are growing people do see that you have elevated people do see that the conversations with you is different and they need to know how to come correct some of them do come correct and they do come correct and they do change their conversation when they talk about you within they try to slide in it all the way of them thinking or the old stuff we used to communicate on few three four years ago that we not on the mode like you still talking about that you still on it but I just really had to like separate not even in a relationship you need time away from your spouse your partner you need time away from them like you would get burnt out they're gonna be getting on your nerves you're gonna be getting on their nerves I need time away from each other like you gotta you gotta be able to move around like you need time to yourself for your personal growth your personal goals to reach those goals you can't be always in somebody facing somebody giving them all your time giving them everything that you got to offer and then you ain't got nothing left for yourself and then you too tired to do what you gotta do to reach your own goals because you need sat here and help everybody else you know what I'm saying so you have to make time for yourself it gets draining it's very draining I know a lot of times like you don't even like like relationships friendships you you don't want to let them go you know I'm saying I don't want to lose them I don't want to be alone I don't want to look like the bad guy because they cut them off or I don't want to look like but I have to don't feel bad about it because it's a it's a reason when you're feeling that way that you need to let this go it's a reason it's always a reason like a lot of people be acting like they didn't do something or a person did something to them for for no reason it's always a reason rather you know the reason or not it's always a reason and choosing yourself trying to elevate separating yourself from things to elevate that's a really good reason okay that's a really good reason within itself okay because a lot of people like the boy a little like the boy yeah like and you don't want to lose yourself to everybody doing stuff everybody giving to everybody so you have to make room for you room for your growth and how you gonna make all this room if you constantly hold on to all these people you constantly hold on to all this stuff you constantly hold on to these environments that's no longer serving you these conversations that you're having with people you constantly hold on to all of that you not making no room no growth no nothing no space to even grow okay so you have to do these things like honestly ask yourself is this helping me elevate in any way spiritually financially emotionally physically is this helping me the environment the materialistic things the conversation the people is any of this helping me in any way shape or form okay like honestly ask yourself that and honestly like it's the growth for me like it's definitely the growth like it's definitely the growth because I wasn't always this person and I wasn't always this person and it definitely took me to separate to elevate okay I had to separate some things to elevate some things
within myself to become this person that I am now and I'm still growing and I'm still healing and I'm still learning and I hope you guys that are listening and toned in and watching are doing the same or choose to do the same for you Ask yourself be real yourself and what you know you need to be able to survive and thrive honestly to be able to elevate and move to the next level you need to ask yourself them questions you need to ask yourself if this is fulfilling me any type of way and I hope this has gave somebody encouraged me to want to separate some things hope this helps somebody in any way shape a fool okay and this wrap up the first episode of the Sea Daily Podcast I'm your host is with the most is Sea Daily Chrissy Daily to be exact and I'll see you guys in the next one

Separation applies to more than people, including materialistic things, conversations, environments, and energy-draining habits.
Chrissy shares personal experiences of overgiving, attracting "takers," and feeling stagnant, which led her to pull back her energy and reevaluate her relationships.
Forcing connections or situations prolongs what is meant for you; letting go allows for natural growth and alignment with one's purpose.
She discusses the importance of changing environments, reducing social media consumption, and avoiding reality TV to focus on self-improvement and spiritual growth.
Choosing oneself, despite guilt or others' judgments, is essential; growth often requires cutting ties with people and things that no longer serve you.
The episode encourages listeners to ask themselves if their current circumstances help them elevate spiritually, financially, emotionally, or physically.
Summary:
" She argues that meaningful growth and evolution require deliberate separation from various aspects of life—not just people, but also material possessions, conversations, environments, and even daily consumption habits like TV shows and social media.
FAQs
The main topic is 'separating to elevate,' which means removing yourself from people, things, environments, and conversations that no longer serve you in order to grow and evolve.
She believes that doing the same things leads to the same outcomes, so to reach a new level or become a better version of yourself, you must change something—whether it's people, habits, or environments.
Examples include people who are takers or users, materialistic items that aren't being used, negative conversations, draining environments like clubs or parties, and even certain types of media or social media consumption.
After going through a tragic situation, she surrounded herself with people who were not good for her, and she realized she was overgiving without receiving. Pulling back her energy and staying to herself helped her see growth and elevation in her life.
She says that forcing what is not for you prolongs what is for you. If a relationship or friendship isn't serving you, holding on to its potential prevents you from growing and making room for better things.
She suggests asking yourself if the people, environments, conversations, or material things are helping you elevate spiritually, financially, emotionally, or physically. If they aren't fulfilling you, it's time to let them go.
