SELF LOVE VS. TRUE LOVE

Debs of the Spirit, we have read about revivals, we have had, about revivals, but what will my children know about God for me? A canyon revival hub dedicated to ignite a new fire through the knowledge of God, prayer and worship. What will my children know about God from this generation? We shall live, we shall pay the price until God is found by this generation. Revealing the length, the height, the depth and the width of the Word of God. And my generation is preparing for a lot of fire. My generation is preparing for that manuscript in God that has not been scripted. And we are going to live until we find God in our generation. We love Jesus, we love the Word of God, I want to say welcome to all visitors. It's always a privilege, it's always an honor to have you. And of course we started last Tuesday on the subject of growing versus falling in love with Jesus. And we mentioned a few things, if you love Jesus, you will walk in His ways, if you love Jesus, you will keep His commandments. If you love Jesus, you will cleave to Him, you will cling to Him, you will hold on to Him. You will not let anything separate from His love. Number four, if you love Jesus, you are going to serve Him. Number five, we did mention that if you love Jesus, you are going to hate evil. And we did also mention that love is better than wine. Love, the love that Jesus gives and we did mention the importance of the heart in receiving God's love. So that God's love is not communicated in hugs. God's love is not communicated in attention from men. God's love is communicated from one heart to another. God's love is not dependent, it's not dependent on a human vessel. God's love is expressed from either God's heart to you or from a one man's heart to another man's heart. So when God tells us love one another, He does not say, "Holy one another, tell each other I love you now." He says, "Let your heart overflow with the love of Jesus so that the heart of man is the only vessel that can understand the language called love." I know in this generation we have things called love languages. There are people who say, "My love language is touch. What to attach?" I'm cooperative. Kunawatu Anasema, "My love language is attention, my love language is gifts." Let me ask you, if your love language is touch and you know Jesus loves you, has Jesus touched you yet? Am I one of you? No pain with the moon. Let me just ask this question today. Let's, as I introduce this, I will have approximately 40 to 50 minutes to complete this. So I know God is going to help us. If your love language is gifts, that means without gifts, Jesus cannot love you without gifts. Your love language is quality time and you don't even spend quality time with Jesus. Today we are going to talk about selfish love. The one that we say, "This is my love language because that is how you want to, that is how you as self feels that you are appreciated." But that is not the love language Jesus created you with. The love language he created you with is the ability. Okay, let me not get ahead of myself. God bless you all. Today I want us to just study the book of Fast Corinthians chapter 13. We are talking about maturity in love. We are talking about growth in love. So we talked about falling, the difference between falling in love with Jesus and growing in love with Jesus. These are two different things. Falling in love, you can fall in love with Him because of emotions. You can fall in love with Him because of what He has done, because of the order of His name. The Bible says in the, that is Songs of Songs chapter 13, "Because of the good saviour of your name, of your ointment, the virgin's love you. So many of us love Jesus because of what we have had of Him, not because of what we know. But when you grow in love with Him, you grow in love with Him because of what you know, because of what you know. So that Paul pleads with you that the best thing and the best, the best way to love yourself is to know God. I will repeat that. The best way to show love to yourself is to make sure you know God. The best way to invest love in yourself is to know God. Can I repeat that? The best way to show that you treasure yourself is to know God. The Bible says that through wisdom a house is built, through understanding it is established, but through knowledge, its rooms are filled with treasures. So if you want, if you want to fill your rooms with treasures, know Him. The Bible says in a say for the six my people perish because of lack of knowledge. The only way to show that you love yourself is to know Him. Make sure that at the end of your life, if there is one testimony that will be written about you, at the end of your life, if there is one testimony that will be said of you, is that you knew God. So the best way to love you is not to buy yourself gifts. It is to give to yourself with the knowledge of Jesus. It is to give many of the ways we show love to ourselves is to cover our own insecurities. Many of the ways we just say, are men and equipment and are dependent on what we are doing is that we are just covering our insecurities because there is no one to bring your flowers, you buy yourself flowers, and you lie to yourself that you love yourself. Because there is no one to give attention to yourself, because you love yourself, because there is no one to give you money. So because you love yourself, you get into sin, to get money, so that you want to show yourself that, let me tell you, if your love language is receiving gifts, they are men who will never give you gifts. They are men who will never have the ability to give you gifts, but they love you genuinely, and you will trivialize their love because they have nothing to give. Praise Jesus. So what is our definition of love? What do we mean when we say I love you? I want us today to stop using this word as an emotional statement. I want us to understand what does it mean when God says I love you? When God says I love you, it doesn't mean that he is going to bring you out of trouble. When God says I love you, it doesn't mean he is going to favor you above everyone else. When God says I love you, sometimes the best love language from God is to trust you in the midst of temptation. Sometimes the best way that God shows He loves you is to say devil, have you considered my servant Miriam Osempi? You can touch everything that He has because I love Him. Now what does the Bible mean when it says that for all for we know, all things work for good, for them that are called according to His purpose, and then that love Him? Do you see, if you don't love Him, nothing is ever going to work for your good. So sometimes the best way God is showing love is by calling the devil, have you considered my servant Miriam? You know this servant, even if you remove everything that I have given him, he will not turn away from me. And the devil says it's because you protect her, because you've never allowed me to harm her. I know this one is going to stand for my name. The best way, sometimes for Jesus to love you, is to allow you. He says that even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will not fear. And even without that with me, the best way is for Him to assure you that He is with you. I will never leave you. I will never forsake you. So the way to know that God loves me, maturity in love is to know even if my husband is not calling me all times, He loves me. And who is my husband man? My husband man is Jesus. The best way to know that Jesus loves me is not that I don't get into trouble, is that I know I am in trouble, but the Bible says, "Be still and know that I am God." So the best way for me to know that Jesus loves me is that I see trouble, I see the fullest times, I see an undivided sea, but I start praising Jesus. Why? Because He loves me. Because even though I see the fall of the shadow of death and I am in it and I am walking very comfortably, I know that He is with me. As Shadrach, Misha, and the bedneco, I know that love Jesus has for me. So I will not bow down to any idol, because Jesus is faithful kindly mute the camera. If I can speak, allow me to start from 1 Corinthians 12, 1 Corinthians 12 verse 31. Now, 1 Corinthians 12 talks about spiritual gifts, desire you, the gifts of prophecy, desire all these above every other gifts. He speaks about the gifts of healing, the gifts of speaking in tongues, interpreting tongues. He speaks about the gifts, all these endowments. And I do not misunderstand me. I am not saying that gifts are not important. But I want us to look at this. 1 Corinthians 12. This is Paul who has written about these gifts. He is saying, "But honestly desire and zealously cultivate the greatest and the best gifts and graces." The higher gifts and the choicest graces. But then he says something, "And yet I will show you a more excellent way." So, I am loving this. "Yet I will show you a more excellent way." Yes, desire and cultivate those gifts. Please pray for long to speak in tongues. Tell Jesus I need to interpret tongues. Yes, do all these things. But yet I will show you a more excellent way. This is the excellent way we are waiting for. I want you to understand that the letters were not written as chapters. The letters in the Barroa, when you look on and see a boy friend, are called high school, Barroa and Doilikujahivio, Oko Nandika, your letters in chapters, unless you are writing on stickiness. When you are writing a letter, you write "Pijuan, Pijtu, Unongaza, Pijtri, Kamauna, Mambomigiyu, Jyakumombi, Unongaza, Pijtu, those are letters. Letters and the scriptures were not written in chapters." So, I want you to understand that there is no difference. There is no separation between chapter 12 and chapter 13. We are busy on the altar speaking in tongues of men, and if you speak in tongues yet without love, we will need empty debate. If you have in the media department, but you have not loved women and not a church, you will boyach one. You are nothing. This is your Bible. If I am preaching someone because of duty, I am nothing. If you minister in songs and worship, yet without love, you are nothing. You are nothing. How many times do we serve God so that we are noticed by men? Let me ask you. How many ministries have you left? Let's count them. Because you sang and they said. How many ministries have you left because the pastor did not tell you good work when you let service? How many churches have you left because they did not give you the salary you thought you needed? How many of you have received the salary you needed? How many? How many? Where were you in worship? How many times do you put on clothes? How many ministries do you put on clothes? My question is are you serving because of yourself or are you serving because of love? As Jesus would love the person and it would require maturity. So many of the things I'm teaching today don't be hurt if you cannot practice them today. It will require growth for you to practice this. Has anybody ever practiced what I'm preaching today? The whole of it to compete with me. Maybe in the morning I am I am feeling I am feeling terribly. I am feeling terribly, but the word of God does not change. Okay, let's continue. Love rejoices when right and truth prevail. Verse 7, "Love bears up under anything. Please note when the Bible says that love has the capability to bear up under anything it means what it says and everything that comes. It is ever ready to believe the best in every person. Jesus.
