Speaker 1Welcome to the Word Laundry Radio, brought to you by GW Arthur Ministries.
Speaker 2Enjoy. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. We believe you, Lord. We believe in your unfailing Word. Our trust is in you, Holy Spirit. To us, our eyes are closed. We believe in you. Dear Holy Spirit, you are all over this place. We ask you to take over and take proeminence. Dear Holy Spirit, we receive your Word. And Father, we receive the Spirit of wisdom and revelation. Anoint our eyes with eyesalve that we may see. Cause us to see the depth of the riches, both of the wisdom and the knowledge of God. We see, we see, we see. Oh Lord, thank you, Lord. We behold your glory, your fullness, your effulgence, your magnificence. We see you. They looked unto him, and they were radiant, and their faces were not ashamed. We lean on you, mighty Lord. Thank you for the victory. In Jesus' name, the Son of God. Amen. Hallelujah. Three times in the Bible, Jesus wept. So, I want to teach you why Jesus wept. Okay. Yeah. Yes. Why did Jesus wept? Why Jesus wept in John 11, 35? And why Jesus wept in Luke 19, 41? Yes. The last one is Gethsemane. I won't talk about that one. Uh-huh. But, so I want to teach on seeing him as he is. Seeing him as he is. Seeing him as he is. Now, turn with me to the book of 1 Peter, chapter 1, verse 13. 1 Peter 1, verse 13. Why fall? Why fall? Why fall? Get up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. Therefore, get up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. I want you to consider this verse very well. So, this verse. Many interpret this verse as the coming of Jesus Christ. Because of the words at the revelation of Jesus Christ. So, when you read it, what comes to your mind is the coming of Jesus for the church or his second coming. Hallelujah. That is what really comes to mind. But that is not the idea in the verse. That is not the idea in the verse. And hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought. Now, in English, if I say that is to be brought, it's more of something futuristic. That is to be brought. That is to be brought at the revelation. So, the idea is that a certain kind of grace is going to be brought when Jesus is revealed. Is that not so? But that's not the meaning. So, what you think of is that when Jesus is revealed, there's a kind of grace that he's going to come with. The second coming. So, that's the idea. But that's not the meaning of this verse. Because of the word, that is to be brought unto you at the revelation. It's not futuristic. The word to be brought, that's not what it is in the Greek. In the Greek, it is in the present continuous tense. It says, and hope to the end for the grace that is being brought. It is something that is happening. Not that it's to be brought. It's not in the future. It is in the present continuous tense. It's the present tense in the passive voice. That is being brought at the revelation of Jesus Christ. What it means is that whenever Jesus is revealed to you, there's a kind of grace that is brought to you. The idea is that whenever you see Jesus, whenever you grasp the revelation of who Jesus is, you receive grace. So, I'm telling you that the greatest thing to occupy yourself with is to know more of Jesus. So, the idea in this verse is that the more that Jesus is revealed to you, the more you partake of the grace of God. So, it is being brought. It is constantly being brought. It is constantly happening. That's the Greek. At the revelation of Jesus. So, the more Jesus is revealed to you, the more the grace is brought. But now, let me explain the word being brought in the Greek. You see, the word being brought in the Greek signifies a ration current. Let's say if there is a moving water, a ration current, or a random water, and a leaf falls into the water, or the branch of a tree falls into the water, the water is moving with a high speed. downward you know in a downward spiral just see visualize a kind of water body carrying everything it's meat on the way and carrying everything downstream in the downward spiral when a leaf falls into the Russian current it carries it away if a branch of a tree falls into it it carries it away praise God now that is the Greek word for the world being brought okay we see that word used in the book of Acts 27 from the 15 going when apostle Paul was in a ship remember that he had a shipwreck and there was a time about that and when the ship was caught and could not be up into the wind and when the ship was caught and could not be up into the wind and when the ship was caught and could not be up into the wind and when the ship was caught and could not be up into the wind and when the ship was caught and could not be up into the wind and when the ship was caught and when the ship was caught and could not be up into the wind and when the ship was caught and we let her drive the wind was so and when the ship was caught and could not be up into the wind and when the ship was caught and we let her drive the wind was so strong that now possible and those in strong that now possible and those in strong that now possible and those in the ship they have to just allow the ship the ship they have to just allow the ship the ship they have to just allow the ship to drive so that wind was beat said the to drive so that wind was beat said the to drive so that wind was beat said the word drive here is the same word for being word drive here is the same word for being word drive here is the same word for being brought is a word for brought in first brought is a word for brought in first brought is a word for brought in first Peter 1 verse 3 that means that the wind Peter 1 verse 3 that means that the wind Peter 1 verse 3 that means that the wind was just carrying the ship it wasn't the was just carrying the ship it wasn't the was just carrying the ship it wasn't the ship's ability it was a wind that was ship's ability it was a wind that was ship's ability it was a wind that was propelling and moving the ship if a leaf propelling and moving the ship if a leaf propelling and moving the ship if a leaf is in a Russian water current it is not is in a Russian water current it is not is in a Russian water current it is not a leaf carrying it is not ability of the a leaf carrying it is not ability of the a leaf carrying it is not ability of the leaf that that is in motion the leaf is leaf that that is in motion the leaf is leaf that that is in motion the leaf is drawn by certain force by certain power drawn by certain force by certain power drawn by certain force by certain power it is not by its own inherent ability it is not by its own inherent ability it is not by its own inherent ability there is a force that is drawing it there is a force that is drawing it there is a force that is drawing it there was a force that was pulling or there was a force that was pulling or there was a force that was pulling or crossing the ship to motion forward we crossing the ship to motion forward we crossing the ship to motion forward we let her drive and that is a word for let her drive and that is a word for let her drive and that is a word for being brought what it means is that the being brought what it means is that the being brought what it means is that the more you see Jesus the grace of God more you see Jesus the grace of God more you see Jesus the grace of God carries you in life anytime you encounter carries you in life anytime you encounter carries you in life anytime you encounter revelation about Jesus the revelation of revelation about Jesus the revelation of revelation about Jesus the revelation of who Jesus is there is a kind of grease who Jesus is there is a kind of grease who Jesus is there is a kind of grease that is used with such power such force that is used with such power such force that is used with such power such force that carries you into success carries that carries you into success carries that carries you into success carries you into victory that propels you you into victory that propels you you into victory that propels you forward nothing to do with your strength forward nothing to do with your strength forward nothing to do with your strength nothing to do with your ability nothing nothing to do with your ability nothing nothing to do with your ability nothing to do with performance nothing to do with to do with performance nothing to do with to do with performance nothing to do with human energies or human ability all is human energies or human ability all is human energies or human ability all is the grace of God the favor of God the grace of God the favor of God the grace of God the favor of God carries you I'm telling you that it carries you I'm telling you that it carries you I'm telling you that it carries you and you begin to do what is carries you and you begin to do what is carries you and you begin to do what is humanly impossible what is humanly humanly impossible what is humanly humanly impossible what is humanly improbable there is a force that improbable there is a force that improbable there is a force that propels you there is a motion there's a propels you there is a motion there's a propels you there is a motion there's a ration current it is called the grace of ration current it is called the grace of ration current it is called the grace of God so the grace now carries you forward God so the grace now carries you forward God so the grace now carries you forward in life motions you for the life so that in life motions you for the life so that in life motions you for the life so that what you couldn't actually do in your what you couldn't actually do in your what you couldn't actually do in your human ability what you couldn't human ability what you couldn't human ability what you couldn't overcome what you couldn't prevail over overcome what you couldn't prevail over overcome what you couldn't prevail over you're able to prevail over you were you're able to overcome because there is a force that carries you so all you need is the revelation of jesus because the revelation comes with that grace and that grace motions you forward propels you forward hallelujah so anytime you encounter jesus his first revelation something happens to you something happens to you it's not you doing it it says we let her drive the ship of there's a force that moves you on all that you need to do is to encounter that revelation and the force will move you it is the revelation of jesus christ that is why second peter 1 verse 2 says that grace and peace be multiplied unto you now let me read this in the greek the greek is different from the english the greek says grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of god even jesus our lord that's a greek now when you read it in english you may think jesus and god you may think you need a need the knowledge of two people you need the knowledge of jesus and the knowledge of god that's not a greek he's talking about only one person so the greek says that some peace be multiplied unto you be multiplied you know grace how many of you want grace on your life to be multiplied the word multiply in greek is that which escalate in quality and quantity it's used for escalation that which escalate in quality and quantity so the grace the favor on your life can escalate and the shalom the well-being the wholeness the peace the abundance the health on you on your life can multiply so if you want favor there's favor on your on your head but that favor can multiply and things come by itself you don't strive you don't stress you don't struggle your health can be multiplied your financial favor can be multiplied your peace of mind can be multiplied you know people in this life many are depressed the troubles and challenges of daily life is too much but you can walk in a realm of life you where you are at peace where you are full of joy where supplies are coming where there is health where there is stability we call that peace shalom in hebrew now the bible says that this grace this favor you don't deserve and this shalom can escalate can multiply by one thing by the knowledge of god even jesus the lord that's a greek so jesus is god so the knowing jesus is god and who he is is enough it is what actually will usher you into the grace we are talking about knowing who he is is very practical it's knowing who he is knowing who he is all our problems you know where it comes from every problem we face in life for which we get defeated it's all because we have not seen his fullness lack of peace worries anxieties all stem from the fact that we have not seen his fullness his fullness you know to the extent if you look at your life there are times you exercise negative emotions no negative emotions fears worries anxieties either over your life or over your career but you have not seen his fullness you know to the extent if you look at your life there are times you exercise negative emotions no negative emotions fears worries anxieties either over your life or over your career you know to the extent if you look at your life there are times you exercise negative emotions no negative emotions fears worries anxieties either over your life or over your career you know to the extent if you look at your life or over your life or over your career or over not married or in your marriage or or over not married or in your marriage or or over not married or in your marriage or over your children there could be negative over your children there could be negative over your children there could be negative emotions over a lot of things emotions over a lot of things emotions over a lot of things to the to the extent to the to the extent to the to the extent you have believed these negative emotions you have believed these negative emotions you have believed these negative emotions to that same extent you have believed a to that same extent you have believed a to that same extent you have believed a lie yeah yeah yeah but you see the solution but you see the solution but you see the solution is to know jesus in his fullness is to know jesus in his fullness is to know jesus in his fullness we are not we are not there but we need we are not we are not there but we need we are not we are not there but we need to grow to grow to grow to know him in his fullness to know him in his fullness to know him in his fullness so i want to show you how how so i want to show you how how so i want to show you how how we need to see him as he is we need to see him as he is we need to see him as he is and that and that is enough and that and that is enough and that and that is enough seeing him as he is seeing him as he is seeing him as he is john chapter 11. hallelujah john chapter 11. john chapter 11. john chapter 11. it says that now a certain is now do look at the kind of person he is now do you remember that you remember that you remember that let me go for the comeback when jesus let me go for the comeback when jesus let me go for the comeback when jesus stood at the tomb of lazarus stood at the tomb of lazarus stood at the tomb of lazarus to pray remember the story that he said to pray remember the story that he said to pray remember the story that he said he should roll away the stone he should roll away the stone he should roll away the stone and when he lifted up his voice to pray and when he lifted up his voice to you thanked god he said i thank you that you have heard me when was he heard when he have heard me when was he heard when he have heard me when was he heard when he made a declaration made a declaration made a declaration the declaration because the moment he the declaration because the moment he the declaration because the moment he had he says he the moment he had it he had he says he the moment he had it he had he says he the moment he had it he said this sickness is not unto death he said this sickness is not unto death he said this sickness is not unto death he spoke the word and he was confident that what he said and he was confident that what he said and he was confident that what he said had registered in the spirit you see the had registered in the spirit you see the Speaker 3with the story of
Speaker 2lazarus that's five that's five that's five now jesus loved martha and his sister now jesus loved martha and his sister now jesus loved martha and his sister and lazarus and lazarus and lazarus okay when he heard i've heard therefore that he when he heard i've heard therefore that he when he heard i've heard therefore that he was sick he abode two days still in was sick he abode two days still in was sick he abode two days still in the same place where he was the same place where he was the same place where he was then after that jesus said to his then after that jesus said to his then after that jesus said to his disciples let us go disciples let us go disciples let us go into judea again into judea again into judea again his disciples say unto him master the his disciples say unto him master the his disciples say unto him master the jews of late saw to stone the jews of late saw to stone the jews of late saw to stone the and ghost david again and ghost david again and ghost david again jesus answered jesus answered jesus answered the next verse the next verse the next verse the next verse this thing said he and after that he said this thing said he and after that he said this thing said he and after that he said unto them our friend lazarus sleepeth unto them our friend lazarus sleepeth unto them our friend lazarus sleepeth but i go that i may wake him out of sleep but i go that i may wake him out of sleep but i go that i may wake him out of sleep you know lazarus was not asleep he was you know lazarus was not asleep he was you know lazarus was not asleep he was dead dead dead but look at jesus's language but look at jesus's language but look at jesus's language sleep and dead sleep and dead sleep and dead and death and death and death death is a fool death is a fool death is a fool sleep is a friend sleep is a friend sleep is a friend you know death is an enemy you know death is an enemy you know death is an enemy it's a very difficult thing but sleep is it's a very difficult thing but sleep is it's a very difficult thing but sleep is something that is very temporal something that is very temporal something that is very temporal and transient i said this is his mindset and transient i said this is his mindset and transient i said this is his mindset since lazarus is asleep since lazarus is asleep since lazarus is asleep let us go and wake him out of him out of let us go and wake him out of him out of let us go and wake him out of him out of sleep sleep sleep you see the manner of his communication you see the manner of his communication you see the manner of his communication the next verse they didn't understand him the next verse they didn't understand him the next verse they didn't understand him then said his disciples lord if he sleep then said his disciples lord if he sleep then said his disciples lord if he sleep he shall be well of course if someone he shall be well of course if someone he shall be well of course if someone in sleep look up something then jesus in sleep look up something then jesus in sleep look up something then jesus said unto them plainly lazarus is dead said unto them plainly lazarus is dead said unto them plainly lazarus is dead but this is not a greek but this is not a greek but this is not a greek jesus didn't see lazarus is dead the jesus didn't see lazarus is dead the jesus didn't see lazarus is dead the greek doesn't say that greek doesn't say that greek doesn't say that no that's not what jesus said the greek no that's not what jesus said the greek no that's not what jesus said the greek actually is in the aorist tense in the actually is in the aorist tense in the actually is in the aorist tense in the past tense jesus says lazarus died you see this jesus but the man is dead you see this jesus but the man is dead you see this jesus but the man is dead he doesn't want to say lazarus is dead he doesn't want to say lazarus is dead he doesn't want to say lazarus is dead so in the greek he said it in the past so in the greek he said it in the past so in the greek he said it in the past tense lazarus died tense lazarus died tense lazarus died but in the physical we know the guy is but in the physical we know the guy is but in the physical we know the guy is dead dead dead but why are you communicating like that but why are you communicating like that but why are you communicating like that lazarus died lazarus died lazarus died now if i say that oh the sister died now if i say that oh the sister died now if i say that oh the sister died but let's say jesus died but let's say jesus died but let's say jesus died that means he's no longer dead that means he's no longer dead that means he's no longer dead he died in the past tense he's no longer he died in the past tense he's no longer he died in the past tense he's no longer dead in the greek dead in the greek dead in the greek he says lazarus died because you see he says lazarus died because you see he says lazarus died because you see whatever he says comes to pass whatever he says comes to pass whatever he says comes to pass he doesn't even want to say that lazarus he doesn't even want to say that lazarus he doesn't even want to say that lazarus is dead otherwise it should be dead is dead otherwise it should be dead is dead otherwise it should be dead so even in explaining explaining what so even in explaining explaining what so even in explaining explaining what had happened he even had to be careful had happened he even had to be careful had happened he even had to be careful because whatever he says is established because whatever he says is established because whatever he says is established yeah his words are law his word is a law yeah his words are law his word is a law yeah his words are law his word is a law whatever he says is established whatever he says is established whatever he says is established his words brought from the creation he his words brought from the creation he his words brought from the creation he uphold all things by the word of his uphold all things by the word of his God has power, you understand, so Lazarus died. him Lazarus is not dead hallelujah now the reason Jesus went to Bethany was to raise Lazarus from the dead is that not so that was the reason why he went to the funeral actually Jesus waited for two more days it was intentional you know one of reason is because Jewish tradition tells us that when someone dies the Jewish believed that until the third day the spirit of the dead is still hovering around the body but from the third day the body starts decay and corruption begins and on the third day that is it nothing can be done again that is actually the Jewish tradition so after three days the body has seen corruption that is why when Jesus got there Martha said her body said her body said her body and the bodies think it because corruption has set in so when the scripture says concerning Jesus that would not leave my soul in hell in that would not suffer the unholy one to see corruption it's happened in three days not a fourth day you understand that's what they believed after three days there's corruption that set in but Jesus waited to the fourth day so their belief is that there is corruption corruption decay has already set in at that time I praise God that last major miracle before his death now understand this the time between the reason of Lazarus from the death and when Jesus died it's about a month it's one month it's one month okay this happened in Bethany he left with any and came back to Bethany again before going to Jerusalem okay now if you follow the story when Jesus go to Bethany Wow says Jesus wept now there is a reason he went there's a general reason and there's a specific one in a general sense he says wept because you see though he is God is the man and he is touched with the feelings of our infirmities whatever we go through he also go through and he's affectionate compassionate and he feels what we feel Jesus wept because he shared what we share you understand he himself has suffered been tempted he said them that are tempted so Jesus wept looking at him death is an enemy he saw the thralldom of death the iron rule of death death separate loved ones seeing what death has done to the human race and seeing how people are deprived of the comforts of their loved ones and separation he could bear with us and he wept that is true but there's another reason he wept I hallelujah there's another reason he wept now when Jesus got to Bethany before he entered the town the first person to meet her was Martha it was told Martha so Martha just left her home and went to the outskirts of the town to meet Jesus and Martha as soon as she heard that Jesus was coming went and met him but Mary sat still in the house different temperament the next verse thank you very much 22 but let's reverse 20 okay there's 21 yes that said matter unto Jesus Lord if thou has been here my brother had not died at the moment Martha met Jesus the first thing she said was Lord if we hear my brother will not have died that's what she said hmm and Jesus a number of things later on Mary also came and when Mary met Jesus she said the same words Mary said Lord if you had been here our brother would not have died so Mary and Martha spoke the same words to Jesus okay that is it the difference is that the difference between Mary and Martha is that you know Martha is always at Jesus's feet she's always fallen under Jesus's feet so that that was there was a difference in posture by the words were the same then when Mary was come where Jesus was and saw him she fell down at his feet saying unto him Lord if thou has been here my brother had not died now let's go back to 22 so they said the same words hallelujah there's 21 now I want you to examine it carefully Lord please come so you are Jesus the moment you entered they ran to you and said Lord if I had been here my brother would have died that's statement they were grieving that's them and the getting that statement is a little blame you understand that because what why did you delay for two days actually but Jesus delayed but she doesn't want to say it you know she has a lot of respect if you had me here indirectly blaming him for not being there early but there's another problem Martha and Mary was they were seen a limited Jesus and limited Jesus if you had been here my brother would not have died so you know what it means if you had been here my brother would not have died if you had been here that's past tense the situation has happened if you had been here you could have remedied the situation but now it has already happened so they saw a limited Jesus they didn't see his fullness they didn't see him as the Lord of time once the issue has really happened there's nothing he can do about it so they said if you had been here so to hear because we're not here the worst has happened there's nothing that can be done so they didn't see who he is Jesus say he's not subject to time he's a lot of time when he was on earth he was hundred percent God he's eternal the past the future doesn't mean anything to him to say if you had been here he would not have died meant he's subject to time but Jesus not subject to time he's a lot of time he didn't see his fullness as the one who can restore time and redeem time and restore the limitations of the past they saw a limited Jesus they didn't see his fullness if you had been here and so if you have had troubles in the past as if that's all there's nothing that can be done what you are seeing is a limited Jesus because the worst has already happened and so if you are living in the past because the worst has
Speaker 3happened I read
Speaker 2my Bible the Bible says that the Bible says all things are yours whether Paul or Cephas or Apollos or life or death or the world or things present or things to come all are yours and ye are Christ and Christ is called that he says all things are yours then he mentions the things present the things to come he didn't mention the things of the past the things of the past are not yours so you have to the mistakes of the past are past forever praise the Lord but he can even restore what has been lost you you have to see him completely he says Lord if you had been here you see he saw a limited Lord if you had been here the situation would not have and if you had been here I would rather would not have died to him Jesus is late and look at what he said he didn't see him as a Lord of space he saw distance to be a problem with Jesus if you had been here Jesus doesn't need a distance to solve issues and problems have you forgotten the story of the nobleman and the story of the centurion he said I'm not worthy that I should have come under under my roof but speak the word only and my servant shall be healed he's a lot of time he's a lot of space he doesn't need stance he doesn't have to come to your house to heal a situation the son of the nobleman who was sick the nobleman came to him at kapanom he says go that way thy son liveth because he's a lord of space this doesn't matter so to say if you had been here jesus doesn't need to be here if you had been here he saw a limited jesus now he didn't see him as a lot of time he didn't see him as a lot of of space distance seemed to be an issue how do you see jesus we need to see him in his fullness as he is so jesus was when i think of jesus jesus suffered i mean oh my and these are the people i'm showing you why he wept because i'm telling you that the bible says these are the people he loved and this is a family he resorted often the people who accepted him and loved him and he's invested into them but even for them look at their response now look at what matthew said to jesus then said martha unto jesus if thou has been here my brother had not died the next verse but i know even now whatsoever thou was acts of god god will give it to thee you see let me explain this verse it's nice but he's it's a limitation it's a limitation he didn't see jesus as for who he but by what he said by what she said let me explain but i know if you had been here my brother had not died but i know that even now whatsoever that will acts of god god will give it now he didn't see who jesus is but in him dwelt the fullness of the godhead bodily but look at something i know that even now whatsoever that will acts of god now the word acts here is the word ito whatsoever that will acts of god it's ito a-i-t-e-o now the greek word shows martha's understanding about who jesus is now ito is the greek word for prayer but ito whenever jesus prayed to the father he never used ito matthew is the first person to use ito concerning jesus next let me explain ito is when a creature speaks to the creator it has to do with an inferior person speaking to a superior person that's ito ito means you are superior and inferior creator creature i am making a petition a petition to someone who is higher it is never used once concerning jesus in the entire gospels ito is when you are speaking to god it's ito when you are making demands it's ito whenever jesus pray to the father it's erotau erotau i will ask the father and he shall give unto you another comforter erotau the father now what erotau has to do with an equal making prayer to an equal erotau speaks of equality is a word for equality well if we are equals and i'm asking you something the word is erotau so anytime jesus prayed the bible used erotaru because he and the father are one and they are equal there is not one time in the whole bible that the father and the father are one and they are equal there is not one time in the whole bible that the father and the father and the father are one and they are equal there is not one time in the whole bible that the father and the father are one and they are equal when jesus prayed and the bible used the when jesus prayed and the bible used the when jesus prayed and the bible used the word i to you word i to you word i to you jesus never i to you because he was the jesus never i to you because he was the jesus never i to you because he was the same rank with the father same rank with the father same rank with the father he was the same with the father but any he was the same with the father but any he was the same with the father but any time a believer is praying time a believer is praying time a believer is praying my believer is making demands his rights my believer is making demands his rights my believer is making demands his rights in christ calling for those to be not it in christ calling for those to be not it in christ calling for those to be not it is i to you is i to you is i to you but when it comes to our lord jesus i but when it comes to our lord jesus i but when it comes to our lord jesus i chose never used ones of him and rotao chose never used ones of him and rotao chose never used ones of him and rotao because he and the father are equal because he and the father are equal because he and the father are equal but mata couldn't see jesus in his but mata couldn't see jesus in his but mata couldn't see jesus in his fullness this is what he said fullness this is what he said fullness this is what he said please go back go back and now i know please go back go back and now i know please go back go back and now i know that even
Speaker 3now whosoever darwalt's
Speaker 2ito ito that even now whosoever darwalt's ito god will give thee god will give thee god will give thee so that means he saw jesus a limited so that means he saw jesus a limited so that means he saw jesus a limited jesus jesus jesus he saw a limited jesus that he saw a limited jesus that he saw a limited jesus that he saw his humanity he saw his humanity he saw his humanity that if he makes petition to god we hear that if he makes petition to god we hear that if he makes petition to god we hear him him him you know if he makes petition to god we you know if he makes petition to god we you know if he makes petition to god we hear him he didn't see hear him he didn't see hear him he didn't see his omnipresence his omnipotence his omniscience he didn't see jesus on earth jesus was still god i'm telling you that he never lost his godhood he only veiled his godhood but he was still god even on earth we saw his omniscience when he was speaking with nicodemus you know what he said to nicodemus in john 3 13 he said no man has descended from heaven but the son of look at what he says no man has descended up to heaven but he that came down from heaven even a son of man which is in heaven he's talking to him on earth and he says he's in heaven he was unveiling his omniscience omnipresence he was on earth but he's in heaven that's a mystery you are saying how can that be that's why he's god how is it that we today we are sitting on earth here but he has raised us up together and made us sit together in heavenly places it's just another mystery so he couldn't see jesus omnipotence he's so limited if you had been here it's like the situation has expired if you had been here you could have done something but now it's over it's over he didn't see jesus for this praise god hallelujah see me see him as he is how do you see jesus so let's read verse 34 thank you sir i may call you again now let's read verse 33 right now no no no let's go back to let's go back to 23. so jesus said to her that brother arise again your brother arise again jesus said to her your brother arise again look at her answer martha said to him i know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day jesus is speaking in the present tense she's also speaking of the future tense i know that in the last day he will rise up he will rise up he didn't see him as he is his fullest this is i know she said i know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day to her resurrection is eventful it happens at the last day resurrection is an event which is marked for the last day where the dead will rise so she spoke of the last day she spoke of the last day look at what jesus said jesus said not to her i am she spoke of the last day look at what jesus said not to her i am the resurrection and the life the resurrection and the life the resurrection and the life you see she's speaking on the last day you see she's speaking on the last day you see she's speaking on the last day where the power of god will raise all where the power of god will raise all where the power of god will raise all those who died in christ those who died in christ those who died in christ jesus says jesus says jesus says that power that will that power that will that power that will that will raise the dead recite him down that will raise the dead recite him down that will raise the dead recite him down it is with me reciting me now and i am it is with me reciting me now and i am it is with me reciting me now and i am not resurrection not resurrection not resurrection to mary resurrection is eventful at the to mary resurrection is eventful at the to mary resurrection is eventful at the last day jesus says i'm the resurrection last day jesus says i'm the resurrection last day jesus says i'm the resurrection literally i am the last day literally i am the last day literally i am the last day so jesus used the word ego in me i am in so jesus used the word ego in me i am in so jesus used the word ego in me i am in present tense present tense present tense mata wasn't getting her him mata wasn't getting her him mata wasn't getting her him mata wasn't getting him jesus said unto mata wasn't getting him jesus said unto mata wasn't getting him jesus said unto her i am the resurrection of the life he her i am the resurrection of the life he her i am the resurrection of the life he that believeth in me though he were dead that believeth in me though he were dead that believeth in me though he were dead yet shall he live yet shall he live yet shall he live and whosoever liveth and believeth in me and whosoever liveth and believeth in me and whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die believers doubt this the next verse let's go to text 3 now when jesus saw her weeping that's now when jesus saw her weeping that's now when jesus saw her weeping that's mary mary mary and the jews also weeping which came with and the jews also weeping which came with and the jews also weeping which came with her her her he groaned in spirit and was he groaned in spirit and was he groaned in spirit and was troubled jesus said where have you laid him they jesus said where have you laid him they jesus said where have you laid him they said unto him lord come and see said unto him lord come and see said unto him

Speaker 2see jesus wept you know what bro jesus had what bro you know what bro jesus had what bro you know what bro jesus had what bro jesus had jesus had jesus had you see those jews who were mourning you see those jews who were mourning you see those jews who were mourning where hypocritical monies where hypocritical monies where hypocritical monies you have to understand that the jewish you have to understand that the jewish you have to understand that the jewish funeral funeral they were chief monitors who were they were chief monitors who were they were chief monitors who were hired to just weep hired to just weep hired to just weep now if you read the whole story this now if you read the whole story this now if you read the whole story this these monitors were not correct these monitors were not correct these monitors were not correct even when they saw jesus you know they even when they saw jesus you know they even when they saw jesus you know they stopped whipping and said ah stopped whipping and said ah stopped whipping and said ah this guy who was opening the eyes of the this guy who was opening the eyes of the this guy who was opening the eyes of the blind couldn't he have blind couldn't he have blind couldn't he have prevented this man from dying do you prevented this man from dying do you prevented this man from dying do you remember the house of the ruler of the remember the house of the ruler of the remember the house of the ruler of the synagogue whose daughter died synagogue whose daughter died synagogue whose daughter died they were weeping weeping when jesus they were weeping weeping when jesus they were weeping weeping when jesus god jesus says god jesus says god jesus says the daughter is asleep this which is another laughing I doubt this is not proper morning how can you switch in a sleet of seconds from morning with tears to laughing yeah so this way women professional monies those days in those days you hire them to come and weep they are still there now every generation please say go away and it's amazing how they can switch it if you step on their tour this tape them how they can it's so amazing listen you just wept I've given it I've given the first reason why he worked but there's another reason the second reason he wept when Jesus saw Mary weeping now Jesus didn't weep because of Lazarus oh he came to raise Lazarus up why are you going to weep for someone about to raise the reason he told his disciples that he told them that let's go to Bethany was to go and raise him up so why will you come and weep for someone assuming we came to risk the dead God has told us when we come Charlie we'll be laughing don't don't don't we don't we don't we because we know that we have brought joy to you there's power here we'll prove to you that there's power here so why would Jesus weep for Lazarus if he came to raise him up he didn't weep because Lazarus was dead no he wept because those he loved those he loved they didn't see him as who he really is those he has spent time with and loved and put himself into still didn't see him truly as he is look at what some has done to the human race so much that even the people he has spent time with still couldn't see him as he is Jesus had said everything your brother will rise again I am the resurrection I am just he said everything he said everything for who he is they still couldn't see him as he is therefore he wept he wept apart from weeping and bearing with us he wept because we have seen a limited Jesus we can't see his fullness let's say you have a child and you have all the money for the child school fees you have all the money for the child's well-being the child is worried you said everything but a child cannot get you I'll take care of you I'll do this I'll do this just just the child is still worried about how things will be your concern for the child you said everything but the child cannot see that you are all sufficient for her that's what the Lord made it broke his heart he came to reveal himself for three years and have years this was a last month before his crucifixion they still didn't see him truly as he is of all that he wanted to do for them he had come to reason from the dead that's why he came he had revealed himself still they couldn't see him in his fullness Jesus wept Jesus wept Jesus wept that is our greatest challenge you see not seeing him truly as he is there was once upon a time that Jesus fed 5,000 5,000 men okay scholars actually say that approximately 40,000 people because the word men day is not anthropos is the word for family heads 5,000 husbands or family head and then I they found a lad having his lunch with him but before that Philip is a Philip he said a 200 penny worth of bread it's not enough that everyone may take a letter Jesus said friends shall we find bread to buy not how but wait it wasn't a problem but way he asked Philly because about says Philip was of Bethsaida and that is where they way so Philip knew the terrain so he was actually him way show me this where the supermarket the places where we can find bread to buy the most way not how he was about to himself knew what he would do but he did that to prove them and he said talking about them the he was a mathematician said 200 penny with that means salary for 200 days that's what I'm saying cannot buy enough bread that everyone may take a little so he saw the need the vastness of the need and when Andrew brought a small boy he said but what is this among so many his problem was the letterness of the supply so this is what he was saying and he said what is this among so many his problem was the letterness of the supply so this is what he was saying and he said but what is this among so many his problem was the letterness of the supply so this is what he was saying and he said what is this among so many his problem was the letterness of the supply so this is what he was saying so this is our problem either we see how big our problem is or how little the supply is but jesus was just in their midst and they were concentrating on the wrong thing the need is big how will i settle my fees my children's fees the visa fee the passport how will i travel abroad the course i want to study the rents the new house you are looking at the vastness of the need there may be all of a sudden you are believing for some hundred thousand ghana but what you have is thousand ghana what is this amongst so many so you are complaining about the littleness of the supply because the need is big but the supply is small so either we are concentrating on the magnitude of the problem or the littleness of the supply this was a problem of the disciples and it's still a problem or both you by the way look at the wrong thing it was jesus is in your presence they didn't see him they couldn't see the one that flung the stars into space the one that measured the waters in the whole of his hand out of whose mouth came forth the sun the orion the arcturus the pleiades the chambers of the south the one who opposed all things about by the word of his power for by him where all things created visible and invisible whether they be dominions principalities thrones or powers authors were created by him and for him for his before all things and by him all things are held together all things consist he stretched at the north over an empty place and hung at the earth upon nothing this is the creator he was in the world and the world was made by him and the world knew him not this is jesus the creed he was in their presence and we focused on the wrong thing they couldn't see his fullness his fullness that is our problem we cannot see what we see is a limited jesus like israel limited the holy one of israel so do we also limit him because we don't see him as an all-sufficient one and that's what matthew did he couldn't see the fullness of jesus you know today do you know that sometimes when you wake up in the morning and you're on your bed depressed depressed in your bed thinking about the daily case daily troubles challenges you you think that jesus is enough for your spirituality jesus is enough for you to come to church service and for you to serve him to make your way to heaven and for him to but you see you limit him because your daily case and the rules and the things that troubles you you wake up in the morning you wake up and you are thinking about it on your bed let me show you what jesus is he sits at the foot of your bed weeping he's still weeping you know why he's still weeping you are consumed with your case try to break it yourself because he's waiting because you are not seeing him for who he is if we're to see him for who he is you wouldn't be carrying these beddings and looking for solution because you're not seeing him in his fullness praise god we need to see him as he is luke 19 verse 41 now this is the first time jesus wept now let me show the second time when the bible says jesus wept and when he was coming down he beheld the city and wept over it this is the second time he wept he says wept thrice but this weapon is greater and higher than the weapon he wept at lazarus tomb because there are two different greek words at lazarus tomb he didn't weep aloud he's so bad that's what he did but over here the greek word he was crying aloud with loud voice crying yeah this one And I want to happen in Gethsemane, who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong cryings and tears unto him that was able to deliver him from the dead and was heard in that he feared. So strong cryings and tears. That is what happened when he was entering Jerusalem. Why? The reason he wept the second time, the reason he wept the first time are for the same reasons. The same reasons. Let's get back to look at our verse and see why he wept. The next verse, verse 42. Saying that he wept over the city, saying he wept as he was weeping aloud. Now, the word wept here is the same Greek word for Peter. When Peter denied Jesus and the Bible says he wept bitterly. That's the same Greek word. Yeah. And the same Greek word is used for the will of the synagogue. When Jesus says we entered the house and the people were crying. The same Greek word. Okay. So, Jesus was weeping aloud. Saying. If thou hast known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong to thy peace, but now they are hidden from thine eyes. You know why he says they are hidden from thine eyes? They couldn't see him for who he is. There was something that was hidden from their eyes. They couldn't see Jesus for who he was. He was hopeless. He was supposed to be their hiding place. He was supposed to be their protector. He was supposed to be their long-promised Messiah for them. But they couldn't see him for who he was. So, he wept. He wept. He wept. He wept because they couldn't see him for who he was. Because their seeing him for who he was was their solution and their answer. Praise God. The next verse. The next verse. And they shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee, and they shall not even live in thee one stone upon another, because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation. Now, back to 42. See, you didn't know the hour of your visitation. He says that if thou hast known, even thou, at least in this thy day. The Greek actually says in this special and unique day. Now, listen. This day was the greatest day in all of Israel's history. I'm going to explain. This day Jesus is speaking about. If you read the history of Israel, from the day Israel was founded to the end, this was the most important day in all of the history of Israel. It was the most important day of all days. And Jesus says that. At least, if thou hast known. In this thy day. The things which belong to thy peace. But now, they are hidden from thine eyes. They couldn't see. That is why he wept. He wept because there was something they couldn't see. What was hidden from their eyes? They couldn't see him. As the all-time solution for their need. They couldn't see him as he is. Why was this special? How many of you want to know? That day was spoken. That day was prophesied by Malachi. What? Prophesied by David. Prophesied by Zechariah. Joshua. Daniel. The same day. Praise God. The same day. The same day. He says, If thou hast known, even thou, at least in this thy day. In this your day. Thou knewest not the hour of your visitation. Jesus wept. That day was the hour of their visitation. Okay. Let me explain. Why was that day very important? Which they missed? Because it was the 69th week. That very day marked the 69th week of Daniel's prophecy of 70 weeks. It looks very. Daniel chapter 9 verse 24 to 27. Daniel prophesied, The very time Isaiah will come. The very time Isaiah will come. I'm telling you. Daniel gave the very time Isaiah will come. Will enter into Jerusalem. The time of his death he prophesied. He says there were 70 weeks. You see. Israel's history was going to be dealt with in 70 weeks. Now when the Bible says 70 weeks, they are not weeks of days. Weeks of years. When the Bible says weeks, Bible interpret Bible. Like Laban and Jacob. Laban wanted to marry who? Rachel. And there was a deception. So he had to labor again. For how many years? But Laban didn't say work for seven years. Laban said fulfill her week. It was week of years. Not week of days. So 70 weeks is talking about week of what? Years. Not week of days. Now. Alright. Now from the time of Daniel's prophecy. To the time of the end. Of God's dealings with Israel. Was actually 70 weeks. One week is seven years. Now let's see the next verse. I want to simplify it as much as possible. Therefore. Know therefore and understand that. From the going forth of the commandment. Or the decree. To restore and to rebuild Jerusalem. Onto the Mazar the Prince. Shall be seven weeks. And three score and two weeks. The streets shall be built again. And the wall even. In troubled times. What it means is that. He says that. He is saying that. What is three score and two weeks? What is three score? Please change the version. Yes. Okay this is very simple. Listen and understand. Seven sets of seven. Plus sixty two. Plus sixty two sets of seven. Okay back to Amplified. Okay. Sixty two weeks. Okay. To restore and rebuild Jerusalem. Is sixty two weeks. Of years. And sixty two weeks. Of years. Okay. So sixty two plus seven is what? He says from the time. Of the commandment or decree. To when Mazar will come. Will be sixty nine weeks. But it is into two groups. The first is seven weeks. Then sixty two weeks. The first seven weeks will be the restoration of Jerusalem. Then they go back to rebuild the city. Will be seven weeks. From that seven weeks to when Messiah. Will come and die. Will be sixty two weeks. So together. It was a decree that was made by. Artaxerxes Longimanos. So Artaxerxes Longimanos made a decree. He says from the day of the decree. You can start counting. So from the day of the decree. To when. Enter Jerusalem. The triumphal entry. Is one hundred and seventy three thousand. Eight hundred and eighty days. Because it is written. You can calculate it. So actually prophesied. Yes actually prophesied. So you can calculate it. Understand that. A year is three sixty days. Not three sixty five. The Jewish calendar. Three sixty you get it. Yeah. That is it. Yeah. Yeah you are a good mathematician. Now. That means that. That was the very day. That Messiah was going to enter into Jerusalem. So God through Daniel. Had prophesied the very day. The very day. The long promised Messiah. Messiah king. Will be made known. To his people. It has been written. So if you have known in this thy day. In this thy day. But now they are hidden from your eyes. They couldn't see it. So this is Daniel. But Zechariah also prophesied. The same day. Zechariah nine verse nine. Daniel prophesied. Daniel prophesied. The time Jesus will enter. Zechariah prophesied. The manna which he will enter. Rejoice greatly. O daughter of Zion. Shout O daughter of Jerusalem. Behold thy king cometh unto thee. Thy king cometh unto thee. How will the king come unto you? He is just. Having salvation lowly. And riding upon an ass. Behold the foal of an ass. So this is Palm Sunday. This is a triumphal entry. And the Bible described. How he was going to enter Jerusalem. and that's how he entered. Because kings come on horses. That's how kings come. They come in pomp and pageantry. But he says, your king will come lowly, having salvation. But he'll come with an ass and the foal of an ass. The foal of an ass is a little ass, which is less than four years of age. So he's speaking of a little ass. He's speaking of the humility of the Messiah king. So all these signs were given, and that's how Jesus entered Jerusalem. So the prophecy is not just the time, but the manner in which he was going to come. Yes. It's quoted in Matthew. This is quoted in Matthew, so you have to search it. It's there. It's simple. Praise God. How many of you have read this before in the New Testament? Matthew said it when they took palm branches. Now let's go back to Luke. Malachi, chapter 3, verse 1, verse 2. 1 and 2. Okay. Let's use NLT. Look, I'm sending my messenger, and he will prepare the way before me. Before who? We have to understand who is the me. I will send my messenger, John the Baptist, and he will prepare my way. He will prepare the way before me. This is unveiling the deity of Jesus before me. Then the Lord you are seeking will suddenly come to his temple. The messenger of the covenant, whom you look so eagerly, is surely coming, says the Lord of heaven's armies. So the me is the Lord of heaven's armies. Praise God. So he speaks in the first person, then he will go to the second person, now that's how the Lord normally communicates in the New Testament. He will say, now the son of man, instead of saying I, he will say the son of man, he hardly will use I. That's how Jesus communicated. Okay. Now he says that, the messenger of the covenant. Now Jesus is called the messenger of the covenant. God said that I will give thee as a covenant for the people. You know why he's called the messenger of the covenant? The cross, we are not in covenant with God in strict things. Jesus, representing us, entered into covenant with the Father. The covenant is between two immutable forces who cannot fail. And we are the beneficiaries of the covenant. So it's between two people and we are beneficiaries because he was given as a messenger of the covenant. He is the messenger of the covenant. He says, I'll give thee. In Isaiah he says, I'll give thee as a covenant for the people. So he is a covenant, not us. Not us. So we cannot fail. It is between two people who cannot fail. You understand? So for you to lose your salvation, Jesus must fail. You see. Now, in Isaiah, and the Messiah whom you seek shall suddenly enter into his temple. You know when it happened? When Jesus sat on the donkey and when they took palm branch, he entered Jerusalem. Where did he enter? He entered into the temple. And he made a sketch and he shipped those who were selling daft sin, you know, and all of that. This is the fulfillment of the prophecy. He entered Jerusalem as the Messiah came, that he entered the temple. Malachi prophesied of that day. So when you read the account of Luke, read Luke and Matthew, after they took the palm branch, the next place, the Bible says, the temple. And he had authority to drive away every uncleanness in the temple because it belongs to him. Hallelujah. Then, Psalm 118, verse 26. Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord. Now, let's go back. Hmm. Let's go back again. And a little back. Just two verses back. Another verse back. Let's go back again. Another back. Then back. Then back. Then back. Then back. Okay, you come back. You come forward. You come forward. You come forward. You come forward. You come forward. Come forward again. Come forward. Come back again. Forward. 21. I will praise thee, for thou hast heard me, and I have become my salvation. Let's go on. The stone which the builders refused is become the head of the corner. Now, when the Bible says builders, they are the leaders. Builders are the leaders. The stone which the builders rejected. The next verse. This is the Lord's doing. It is marvelous in our eyes. This is the day which the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it. Now, there's a day the Lord has made. Which we are supposed to rejoice Which we are supposed to rejoice Which we are supposed to rejoice and be glad in it. The next verse. Save now, I beseech thee. O Lord, O Lord, I beseech thee. Send now prosperity. It's a very wonderful Hebrew word. Send now prosperity. Send now prosperity. And what was the Lord's answer? The next verse. Luke chapter 19. Luke chapter 19. Verse 38. Saying, blessed be the king that cometh in the name of the Lord. Now, they took palm branches. And that's what they said. Blessed be the king that cometh in the name of the Lord. Peace in heaven and glory in the highest. You see, the prayer, the psalmist prayed was, send now prosperity. And what was the answer? It is, the prosperity that is coming now, the answer is in the one coming in the name of the Lord. Literally, it's the prophesying of Jesus' coming. And this is, it is quoted in Luke here. Please, let's stay in Luke. In Luke, he says that, blessed be the king that cometh in the name of the Lord. It's a fulfillment of the prophecy. Because there's something special about that day. That's why he says, this is the day the Lord has made, which I rejoice and be glad in it. There was something special about that same day. Praise God. There was something special about that day. There was something special. Do you know that when Jesus entered Jerusalem, it was important because if the leaders had accepted him, the history of the world would have changed. It wouldn't have been like this. It would have changed if they had accepted him. But they rejected him. That's why he says, the stone the builders rejected. Do you know that when Jesus was born, in Luke 2.14, they said, peace on earth. But when he was dying, his last entry, they didn't say peace on earth, they said peace in heaven. They said peace in heaven. They said, glory to God in the highest, and on earth, peace. On earth, what? Peace. Now let's go back to Luke 19, our verse. Peace in heaven. What do we need peace in heaven for? We are on earth. Because of the rejection. You see, because of the rejection. Because this whole process, they rejected him. So the peace that was supposed to be in Israel was no more. So peace in heaven, glory in the highest. But when he was born, the intention was to bring a certain kingdom on earth, to usher in a certain glory. But because of the rejection in Israel, it didn't happen. Hallelujah. Now let me show you something. Do you know that if Israel had rejected him, the millennium which was to come would have come long ago. The millennium would have come long ago. Now, are you following? The next verse, let's go. The next verse. © transcript Emily Beynon And some of the Pharisees from among the multitudes said unto him, Master, reveal the disciples. And he answered and said unto them, I will tell you that if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out. Which stones was he referring to? When Joshua was crossing Jordan, they put tall stones in Jordan and picked tall stones out of Jordan. The very day Joshua and Israel crossed Jordan, was the same day Jesus entered Jerusalem. It was the 10th of Nisan. Now if you check the Bible, they crossed Jordan the 10th of Nisan. Now Jesus entered Jerusalem Palm Sunday, 10th of Nisan. The same day. And he says the stones will immediately cry out. If men reject him, creation will cry out. Or much more, the new creation, the living stones, the living stones will cry out. And I understand that the same day in Israel, the sacrifices, during the Passover, it happens four days before the Passover, which is 14th of Nisan. They had to examine the lamb to see. The examination of the lamb was four days before the Passover. It happened on the 10th of Nisan. The 10th of Nisan, Jesus entered Jerusalem, and he was examined by the Herodians, by the Pharisees, by the Sadducees, and by the priests. He was examined. Because the lamb must be examined to be without blemish before it can be sacrificed. So they examined him. So you see that now, you see why Jesus says, if thou hast known in this thy day, it's such an important day. This was the same day, the 10th of Nisan. Israel crossed Jordan. You know what it means to cross Jordan? You know the crossing of Jordan? The Bible says, you see the word Jordan is Yarden. Yarden, going down in judgment. That's what it means. The Bible says that the water overflowed its banks. And in Joshua 3, the Bible says, you know what happened? When they crossed Jordan, something happened. The waters went back onto the city of Adam, near unto Zaretan. You know what it means? Going to Jordan is going into judgment. Because they were with the ark. They stepped into Jordan, which is a type of Christ. We took our judgment back to Adam. Near unto Zaretan. Zaretan in Hebrew means distresses. He didn't only take our judgment back to Adam, but he also took our distresses. That's what he did. That same day was the day Jesus entered Jerusalem. That was the day Israel entered the inheritance, 10th of Nisan. That same day, if they had received, received Jesus as their Lord, I believe that straight away, Jesus would have died. And maybe within seven years, the millennium would have begun. And the Gentiles would have come to their light. But now, because of their rejection, the millennium has not yet come. I believe it's soon coming. So, Jesus said, you have missed the hour of your visitation. Because these things are hidden from your eyes. Because all the, all the three is in seeing who he was. But they took him as an ordinary person. And they missed their visitation. If you have known in this day, the things which belongs to the peace. Because everything is about him, but they couldn't see him. And because of their rejection, know what Jesus said is going to happen? He wept over the city and said, oh, Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophet and stonest them which are sent unto thee. How often would I have gathered together as a hen gathered her chicks under her. But ye would not. See, your house is left unto you desolate. So, because of the rejection, that was the reason we had AD 70, the destruction of Jerusalem. Jerusalem was destroyed. The Jews were destroyed. Their blood flowed like a river. According to Josephus. That is why we had the holocaust. Hitler killing the Jews, six million Jews. The rejection of Jesus is why Israel is suffering today. Today, today, today, today. Why they are suffering today. And why they have suffered. Yeah, for a thousand years, they ceased to be. A city because they couldn't see him for who he was. That special day he entered Jerusalem, which had been prophesied, they couldn't see him. So he wept over the city. Why did he weep? Because the truth was hidden from their eyes. He wept, he wept. Jesus wept for the same reasons because we cannot see him for who he is. We cannot see him for who he is. Who do you think Jesus is? Who is Jesus to you? Do you see a limited Jesus? Or do you see him in his fullness? Or you see him as someone just for your salvation and the rest are to sort your way out. How do you see him? And that is a problem for the last day church, the Laodicea church. The Laodicea church, he says that, they are blind and naked and miserable. The last day church, the church, that cannot see because he says they are blind, they are blind. And Jesus says, I counsel thee to buy of me. Go try it in a fire that thou mayest be rich and to anoint an eye with eye salve that thou mayest see. So now what we need to do is to see. We need eye salve. Apparently, amazingly, in Laodicea in those days, okay, there was a medical center in Laodicea, the temple of Asclepius. You know Asclepius? You know, you see? You see a pole and serpents around the pole. It was corrupted. That sign originally came from Moses' pole. The pole was, there was a serpent on the pole and whoever looked on it was healed. So it signifies healing on the cross, but the devil corrupted it. The devil is always a thief. There is a certain god or goddess called Asclepius with the same sign. So it became corrupted. Now it is used as a symbol of Asclepius, which is like a goddess for healing. If God builds a temple, he would try and build a chapel. So in Laodicea, they had a huge temple of Asclepius. It was a medical center, and within the medical center, there was an eye center for healing of the eyes. And the use of what was called the eye salve. Aristotle calls it the powder of Phrygia. It was called the collyrium. It was used to heal weak eyes for people to see clearly. So the whole world, everyone traveled to Laodicea. And Jesus said to the Laodiceans that he has an eye salve to anoint their eyes that they will see. The church couldn't see as they ought to see. To see as we ought to see. Paul prayed that we'll have the spirit of wisdom and revelation, the eyes of our understanding being enlightened. That's one of the greatest prayers to pray. To see Jesus as he is, there's no equal to it. Psalm 119:130 says, "The entrance of your word to give a light." No, the Hebrew says, "The opening of your word, give it foreteasel." You know foreteasel, foreteasel is a scientific term. The eyes of your understanding being enlightened is foreteasel, like what we use in cameras. You know the sensitive film cameras, through the emission of light, it can take the images and impress it on those sensitive light films. So through the lights, the images, what Jesus is, the realities can be impressed on your spirit, on your heart. You see, how much we are changed depends on, the mistake believers are doing is this, we try to change ourselves. That's not how we change, it's a contradiction. The Bible says, "But we all, with an unveiled face, beholding us in the mirror of the glory of God." We are transformed, the word is transformed into the same image, from glory to glory. Who does it? Even us, by the spirit of the Lord, so our change from glory to glory, it's not by us, it's even us by the spirit of God. So the agent that does it is the spirit of God. So it's the spirit of God who does the transforming. But what do you do? You do the beholding. You do the beholding, he does the transforming. What do you behold? Jesus, in the word. But you see, if you don't behold Jesus in the word, the Holy Spirit does not have the material for your transformation. Your beholding is the material for which he can cause the transformation. So not until you are beholding, he doesn't have the material for your transformation. So you use your effort to change, but you cannot change. So we behold him, the word. So how do you see Jesus? How? Ask your neighbor, how do you see Jesus? Yeah, so he may not help you, Jesus, he may not help you. - Hmm. how you see him to be who is he to you who is he to you who is jesus to you you have to see his fullness beyond mary beyond mother for who really he is that is when you can sleep comfortably yeah jesus is weeping today because his people are not seeing him for who he is you're not seeing he want to announce your eyes you can see Wow is that who you are this is Jesus and then you see him like that when Jesus is magnified to you every problem becomes diminished in your eyes all impossibilities becomes nothing in your eyes when you see that's why some sometimes listen sometimes if you are not feeling well instead of course you don't even have to be so engrossed with the Lord will he heal me with the Lord heal me how will I be healed sometimes can be so engrossed with you I'm healed I'm healed I'm healed that you can even intend to worry anxiety I listen think if you take the Lord just meditate about him just read about him just meditate on him as you see him see his beauty his fullness his radiance as he's magnified in your hearts hmm the sickness will run away it cannot cohabit with it will run away yes get the Lord magnified aha that's why we sing be magnet be magnified O Lord no God cannot be magnified he is magnified in your eyes we can't magnify God he's the same as he is his simple item he's always the same you magnify him in your eyes because you have seen him too small your eyes but you have to see him huge and big that the Jesus walking around do you know who he is Jesus Jesus Oh the Holy Spirit it's the work of the Holy Spirit this is Jesus Christian growth is not in having knowledge it's not in many things is the knowledge of him is the knowledge of him it's knowing him that matters it's not like me no it's knowing him in your heart and the reality you know in your heart your heart trust something becomes so difficult so difficult to trust sometimes trusting the Lord to fix things for you or resting for God to fix it things for you become so hard is that not true we think we have to do it ourselves as if trusting the Lord do it or I said he's going to delay or I say it's not practical it's not tangible aha he's too slow at he may not do it he may not all because we have not tested him telling you yeah yeah
Speaker 4oh my oh my
Speaker 2if you take time to understand who he is all the words of Jesus in the Gospels unveils who he is it was surprising it was surprising now for instance he said you know in Matthew 18:20 says for where two or three are gathered together in my name I'm in the midst of them this verse do you know what it means we quote about just time and meditate on it on Jesus's words where two three I got it together in my name I'm in the midst of them okay that reveals his omnipresence his omniscience his omnipotence because this promise is supposed to be valid in all of the church age where are we we're naturally but you're right where two or three are gathered in his name his name is over so he's here how many churches are there where two or three are gathered in his name his name is over so he's here how many churches are there have met tonight in this area he is there just in this area let's expand it to Accra wherever two or three have met together he is there so this word alone reveals his omnipresence not just in Accra not just in Ghana not just in West Africa not just in Africa not just in Australia so how can he be so he's everywhere two or three have gathered in his name and this is supposed to be valid throughout all the church age so since the church began two thousand years ago where two or three have gathered in his name he was there just be thinking about it Wow as you think of him this way it is expanding your imagination of him Wow he's there in Matthew 28 verse 19 he says and lo I am with you always even to the very end of the age now the Greek says the Greek says I'm with you each and every day that's a Greek I am with you each and every day for Jesus to be with you look at how many of us are here he's with each of you each and every day with every believer in this country each and every day and for his statement to be valid this has been happening since the past two thousand years everyone who has been born again he has been with the person in his each and every day throughout the entire years of his life so for this statement to be valid it demands that he has to be eternal he has to be immortal he has to be ageless he has to be transcendent he has to be omnipresent omniscient that's who he is that's who he is that's who he is do you know that if Jesus is I'm with you you can walk through darkness and you're not afraid but now when he says I'm with you we have to better watch out because we are not seeing him as he is yeah we are not seeing him as he is people find it difficult to respond to what he has said why are you shaking because you are not seeing him as he is why are you shaking because you are not seeing him as he is why are you shaking because you are not seeing him as he is it is fullness like you wouldn't shake it is fullness like you wouldn't shake it is fullness like you wouldn't shake you wouldn't tremble I see if his words you wouldn't tremble I see if his words you wouldn't tremble I see if his words is it it's not true once we see him as is it it's not true once we see him as is it it's not true once we see him as he is I'm going to enjoy peace in his he is I'm going to enjoy peace in his
