I feel like we're finally getting into fall at a full, lazy day for a football Sunday. So this is great. I feel like vibes are high. We're getting into that juicy part of September. Yeah, let's hope. Let's hope because I'm sick of a sun badgering down on me. I'm sick of summer clothes. I have so many cute fall outfits in my head that I want to get off. I need the weather to change a little bit so I can start getting these fits off because I'm wearing the same thing over and over. I'll make sure on some biker shorts and a t-shirt, whatever it's hot out. You always end up doing the usual and then you start to maybe pick up a new pair of boots and you're like, "I just want to put these fucking boots on." Sweaters, you know, sweater weather. But regardless, this movie is getting a lot of discussion and I wanna know your guys thoughts on it because I started doing research this weekend when I saw the movie 'cause I heard about it but I honestly didn't really dive deeper into this weekend 'cause I'm like, what is the core of this movie? Like, it's obviously not like a biopic because Chris Hanson did not sign off of it, wants nothing to do with it, hates that they're doing it. - Would you say that Chris Hanson himself bought at space before the movie airs? - So then I dug deeper and I guess that the core of it is that it's kind of discussing of like, yes, he exposed bad guys. But on the other side of that, a lot of them ended up being released and they weren't actually arrested or prosecuted. And on the other side of that, he made so much money doing this. And so was it, can it be both things? Can you want to help catch these bad guys and also make money or are you doing this just to make money? - I think that's the conversation that's happening because objectively speaking, you would think somebody catching pedophiles or predators is like, yes, we need to expose them. So that's why I kind of was like, what is the underlying, why this movie? - Easy explaining, everything was just reviews is what I take from the trailer. - Right. - Because you don't know much about him or the show. - That's what I'm trying to learn and that's what I'm trying to get what are we getting from this movie? What is this movie going to show? Why is this movie being made? I think Robert Pattinson looks like he's going to be incredible in it. - His voice is crazy. - Yeah, it's very good. So I'm just interested in everything, the why to this. - It's a very interesting topic. But a lot of times, you could ask that question for a lot of movies that are based off of real people or the things that have happened. It's like, well, why now what's the motive? There's a lot of people that don't like when projects are made about them. When people make movies about them, he 100% is obviously not on board with this. - Right. - Chris answered himself. - And Robert Pattinson's been asked about it. He's like, oh, I hope he sees it, blah, blah, blah, like all these things. But he didn't like officially sign off on it, which you don't have to. I used to, we've seen this happen time and time again. - You know, let's make up. - With people, you know. - You don't think I already am. - I said let's make up. - About what? - And we don't have to have you sign off on it. - Hey, who are you? - No, no. And the conversation around that show has always been so popular because he's just a figure that even if you've never seen the show, you know who that guy is. Like you've heard the name. You kind of know what the concept was. - Oh, the director of this movie is the same one who's doing the Nathan Fielder documentary. It's coming out. Lance Oppenheim. - What the, yeah, yeah, it is. With the Elizabeth Holmes documentary. I just like it was a lot. I can't deal. So I will give this a B minus, I think it has room for growth and I will continue watching. And that's everything I watched. - I will give Next Gen NYC a B plus as well. Very enjoyable. Like did really like this season finished all of Earl Meets World as well. Cause we didn't, we missed last weekend. So I'm trying to figure out like things that I have watched and haven't or that I watched from last week. That's, yeah. So I finished that. I give that a, I'm gonna give it a B, enjoyed it. I think it will definitely be renewed and I think they only will like find their, find their footing. First season of reality show can be, can be tricky for sure. I finished furious. I just, like, it always has me on the edge of my seat. And this is a season where someone is, where there's like a kidnapping, you know, and you're just like every episode, you're like, when are they gonna get to them? And just see how it, see how it all ends. So good. I think there's maybe only, I think maybe next weekend is the finale or close. It's only eight episodes. So I think we're getting pretty close to it. Lioness is amazing. That's an A. Lanterns, that last episode I watched was like, his, air appears origin story. - Oh, yeah, a couple of times. - Episode, in the past. Is that two behind or one behind? - That's two behind, at least. - That was episode three, I think. - Okay, so two behind. - And what was last night, five last night, yeah. - Oh shit, okay, so I do have two episodes to watch. Well, I liked three a lot. I know that there was a lot of discourse about three. - Oh, I liked three a lot. - I liked three a lot. I love like an origin story episode. And I like that they did it, I like that they did it so early in the season 'cause I think it just gave so much more context to his character that will be needed going forward. That episode was a, I'll say that was an A minus episode, 'cause I feel like it's all kind of in that, in that A range. I still been watching Ted Lasso. I don't really know why. - Yon. - Oh, we got a rate, a chat powers. - I was good. - Sorry. - Yeah, yeah, yeah, we will, we will. We will talk about it after. I'm not quite sure why, but I am, it's, it just doesn't quite have the same sip, you know? And which makes me sad, 'cause I really, I like the whole premise of the season, but I would catch myself laughing out loud the first couple of seasons and this hasn't quite done that for me. And at this point, I'm solely watching because if Roy and Keeley don't make it work, I'll be very upset and I've said that a million times. I might be a couple of episodes behind now too, but I think I'm fairly caught up. And I got, I have to watch New Roni. I'm behind on some things. Well, I could catch up on it this week. But season two of chat powers is fantastic. Season two of chat powers is, that's an A season for me. I flew through it, we both did. It's like, you totally went night, like you, and I thought this season was so well written. I thought it was so, like, very multifaceted, like I, there's, there, it was a little bit of a, almost as genre, switch like it got a little bit darker, but it's still in a really funny way, like so many laugh out loud moments, but the gist of it was still like a little bit darker, but the acting superb, everybody nailed it. Everybody was great, grip was fantastic. I loved it, I loved it. I saw a bunch of TikToks of people talking about how Glenn Powell like really shines in these types of roles that he like is such a, he has great comedic timing and can really crush roles like this. And it just goes back to what he was saying, to us about like wanting to play a character like this and to like do a show like this, because now that he has that quote unquote, like leading man description about him, he like can always, you know, he's like, I you know, playing these brooding leading man's, like all very similar, the fun is taken out of it a little bit. And this I feel like is such a fulfilling character for him in just terms of getting to show how versatile he is. I totally agree, A for me as well. I think this show is so funny. It's so incredibly well written. And I really do think that he is such a funny guy in real life and as an actor that because of how handsome he is, he kind of just can get type cast as like a, oh yeah, you could just play the leading like good looking guy in a movie or whatever. But he's so much more than that. Like he has so much personality. And we're like, we got to make you ugly. Yeah, right, right. But like in a role like this, you can see how good of an actor he really is. Because in other roles, maybe that doesn't, I mean, I always think he comes across as a good actor, but you can see how incredible his comedic timing is in a role where he literally has to be a totally different person. So major props to them on this. If you haven't watched Chad Powers, you gotta watch. I really think people are missing out who haven't watched. And it's so bingeable. I mean, the first two seasons are what? 12 episodes combined. You can fly through it in two days and they're short episodes. So definitely, definitely an A. And they left on a major cliffhanger. So I'm hoping we get that third and I would assume final season. Yeah, they have always said that they saw this in three, in like a three act story. I did see them saying that it could take a little bit just because Glenn's a busy fucking guy. They're like, you know, it's hard to, it's hard to nail down a spot and Glenn's schedule. Right. But I think he loves doing this. So I'm sure that they will find the time to finish out this story for sure, for sure. That's everything I watched. Okay, I don't have much honesty. This is like across the past two weeks. So I'm caught up on lane turns. Overall, I give an A minus that they were like a couple episodes in the last few that I would have said like our A on their own. But just a great show and the episode last night, honestly felt like a, this isn't a spoiler, but it felt like a season finale. Like when I ended, I was like, oh, that's, that's it. That's season one. And then I'm like, talking to one of my friends about it and they're like, no, they're still like three episodes left. Like it felt, so I'm excited to see like where we going now because it really felt like that was the end of a season almost. But yeah, that's just an incredible show so far. And Chad Powers, I'll give an A minus. I watched that all the one night, I think. And yeah, just just a fun show. And they were singing the interview too, but there are like mixed in a lot of like, like Steve's on really. He's got, he's a red actor put on some acting chops, you know, like outside daddy day care. Yeah, they were all fantasy. Yeah. Yeah, no, I think it's definitely a good balance of like funny and ridiculous, but like there's some actually surprising heavy moments. Like you guys were saying. Yeah. So yeah, I'll give that an A minus. And yeah, I'm excited to see like where that goes. And then I will. I watched all of season two of the gentlemen with Theo James. - Back on Bayley and Shane with these all past. - Shane with these probably watching the gentlemen be like, I gotta go fuck this guy. (laughing) I mean, that's just an amazing, that's just a classic guy, Richie. Did you guys ever see the movie? The gentlemen with Matthew Gunn here? - Yes. - Yes. - But you didn't see season one of this show. - No, but I really wanna watch it. - It's really good. - Yeah, do you wanna watch half of season one and stop? - Season two, I actually think is better and I enjoyed a lot more. I may have finished all of season one now than thinking about it. - By the way, I was watching episode one and I'm not like a love on a UK person, but I'm like, why is that girl look so familiar?
