Hi guys, JBM here wanted to tell you about another fiction podcast I have a particular affinity for, and that I think fans of Darylick will too. It is Julian Simpson's brilliantly conceived and lovingly executed The Lovecraft Investigations. The Lovecraft Investigations is a critically acclaimed mystery horror fiction podcast, loosely inspired by the works of You Guess That HP Lovecraft, one of my personal favorite writers of all time. The series follows two investigative podcasters as they uncover strange disappearances and occult conspiracies that slowly reveal a much larger mythology connecting cases across time and space. You probably can guess after listening to Darylick that Lovecraft is a giant influence for me, and I love when other creators take that world and expand and bring their own visions to it. We took out the combat mag, but the platform's environmental security systems are active. Makes a whole place a death trap. Getting through it isn't impossible, but. And the problem is. I'm not in great shape. Obviously, it's gonna be ours before I will be. Which leaves me. And you see the second downside. Just. How much of a death trap are we talking? That's a level one security package. Pretty standard stuff. Conduents and shafts electrify with lethal voltage, gun turrets, fire dispensers. It's designed to help repellent attack from a hostile force. That's exactly what Mack has made it think we are. We want to erase Mack. Best ways to use the kill switch. To use it, we have to reach Mack's mainframe. Where we plug in my ISD security protocols and initiate the data wipe. There's nothing he could do to stop it. The prefixes are hard coded. The flame thrones gave me an idea. You said they used pure oxygen to ignite the chemical spray. What if we do the same thing? The platform's atmosphere engine is in the level right above me. A lot closer than the mainframe. Let me get this straight. You want to increase the oxygen content of the atmosphere inside the platform. My medical director protocols give me access to the environment, Max. We flood this place with oxygen. As close to 100% as we can, then you blow the fuel. The oxygen amplifies the combustion. No more platform. Spot on. And none of this factors in the HK. I have an idea on that too. Seems like you have an idea for everything. Sarah, what happened after you disconnected me? The quadrater gas transfer velocity, though, to inside a pressurized environment, is about 0.5. I have no idea what that means. It means when I bend the oxygen generators, the gas will spread and lessen a minute. Okay. How's it coming with the other stuff? Almost done. I've sprayed the room down with tungsten-doked, vanadium dioxide. A fuel for medical nanobots, but it will face shift any machine with a current running through it. Do it. 10 minutes until timer completion. Dropped. When it goes, we need to be somewhere else. I'm heading for the Amstville engine. And you've got to get out of that room now. You have to get to the circuitry conduit. I've only got two oxygen tanks. We need all four before we'll be enough to ignite the platform. Sarah. I do it manually. I know how. Sarah. I'm coming down to the tanks. The oxygen generators make O2 using electrolysis. The electron and tanks are high pressurized so I can. Sarah, it's over! This is the end of the path. Even if you did manage to vent the tanks, you wouldn't be able to make it back to the sub-birth in time. I advise listening to Agent Blaine, Sarah.
