Scams, Spiders & Spike Fearn

The host shares a heartfelt and relatable narrative about her anxiety over perceived pests in her vintage apartment, which spirals into a full-blown mental and emotional crisis. She describes how small environmental triggers—like a vacuumed corner or a closed window—activate deep-seated fears, leading to sleepless nights, panic attacks, and vivid mental imagery. The story reflects a broader struggle of late 20s independence, where living alone in older housing brings both freedom and unexpected stress. She connects her experience to real-life trauma, including past incidents of arachnophobia and feelings of being targeted by unseen threats. The episode also highlights a scam involving a man posing as a wealthy NFL player who deceived women with fake business deals, emphasizing how deception can exploit vulnerability. Through humor and honesty, the host validates her emotional reaction, stressing that fear is legitimate even when the threat seems minor. She advocates for practical solutions like sealing windows, vacuuming thoroughly, and using power washers, while urging listeners to prioritize mental wellness. The conversation ultimately shifts toward personal growth, encouraging self-care, real-world connection through events, and the courage to confront discomfort. The tone balances vulnerability with empowerment, reminding listeners that their feelings are valid and that support—both practical and emotional—is available.

(audience cheering) - Girl they done set us a cooler. It says, "Besty, you're hot, it's hot." So here are a few beachy essentials just for you. Touch grass, touch sand, touch somebody's hand. (sighs) Just get out there. - Oh my God. - Oh my God! - Because anyone can love your friends at dinner! - Oh my God, Tidari, thank you, but also guys. - Guys, unboxings are like our favorite. Like, you hear that? - Tidari. - Oh, it was like a little like, a speaker on the back? - A speaker? - Yes, wait, hold on. - Oh, that's not, okay, right. - We've been running not listening, like. - Exactly, no string training. Okay, oh, oh, she gon' break them. Oh, it's a JBL, okay? - No worries, love. - Wait, like, let me just go ahead and like take the swap off. (sighs) - Oh my God! - Oh my God! - That's a low-legged rat that's not that anywhere else. But like, wait, these are so sweet. - Wait, is it that? - Wait, wait. - Wait, this? - Honestly, I kind of needed this today. I'm not even gonna hold you, Lee. - Oh my God, the ice cubes, that aren't living for these fake ice cubes. - Oh my God, that's like, A, S, M, B. What? - How is this? - Oh my God. - Whoa! (laughing) - Oh my God! - Oh wow. - M, E, J, Clip. - We're not really strangers. - Okay guys, be careful with this one because I did do this on a date once and like, it ended in a kiss. Like, I don't know, I don't know. - That's what happens. - Well, some sunscreen. - And we love the cockroaches. (crashing) - Like this for my summer blowout party inside next year. - Guys, what? - Oh my God! - Like duh! - Like me, what? - On my first flight. - Like me when I'm yelling Tinder? Like, I don't know. - I'm like me like this. - Wow, wow, wow. Thank you so much. - I mean y'all did your ginormous one. - I'm like obsessed with these for some reason. I wanna eat 'em. - Oh my God. - Okay, well, Tinder, thank you so much. We love you, girl. - Guys, imagine you on a beach date like this. - Imagine this looking at you between your teeth, crunching it in between your teeth. - Oh, they don't. - Wait, but this? - I wanna know about that. - I need to know that like, it's joint custody. - Okay, lot. - 'Cause I've been looking at her. - Oh, okay, love. That's perfect. Guys, period. - Period. Shout out Tinder. - Thank you Tinder so much. And guys, like, go on a date this, I'm out. - I know. We need to wake up a date. - We're gonna wake up a little once. - Oh. - And hang out in an event. Like, nobody wants to go out and have fun anymore. It's like annoying and scary. - Yeah. - We're taking it, IRL this year. - Yeah. (upbeat music) - Hey. - Hey. - Oh my gosh. Welcome back to another episode. - Like, what the hell? - My friend has a lot to say. - Guys, I just have to say something because this is like a sort of a therapeutic kind of space for me, but like, did I talk about this last week? I feel like we haven't recorded in so long but we have. Was it not happening last week? - Two weeks ago, it was happening and you talked about it. Was that two weeks ago? - Yeah, it was. I'm gonna lose my fucking mind. - I know, I'm sorry. - I didn't know it's been two weeks. Okay, so I've just been having like a problem. Do you guys mind if I have a problem? I've been having like pests in my house. Like, at this point, I'm too scared to even say the name of the pest because I genuinely feel like I'm manifesting them and that's like something that I'm gonna work on like with my mental. But like, you might know them from such hitters is like Charlottes Webb, James and the Giant Peach. Like, I don't know. But those motherfuckers been in my shit. Like, ooh, no, no, no, no, real bad. - God, I'm going crazy for my poop like, apparently, for my poop, no, no, no, no. And I'm kind of like doing this thing right now where I'm not really like sleeping and I'm kind of just like showing up because here's the thing like to make like a really a two week long apparently story short. I had one on me fucking leg, never forget. And that one just really set this bitch off because at that point it was like, oh, like, all boundaries crossed, like y'all don't give a fuck about me, that's crazy. Okay, no worries. Thankfully, on top of this, no worries 'cause the no sleep is going really well with the fact that we're training for half marathon. So the only reason why I didn't saw my fucking leg off with my phone, that I asked that morning was because I was up at six in the morning to go like run like a couple miles. So like, honestly guys, no worries, life's never been better. So I just kind of like one I vacuumed it 'cause I was like, bitch, I'm like, I'm sleep still. Like no worries, which is good because otherwise I would have, I'm like, and we can show a sub screen. Like this, this image of Peter Griffin is like genuinely what I've been giving. And I also want to say before I go forward like, these aren't champagne problems in the sense that like champagne, but they're like champagne problems in the sense that like, I am, I love my apartment. I'm grateful to have a roof, know that. It's just like, wow, you know what I mean? Like if I can complain for like two seconds, I'm shut the fuck up. First one, set it off low boozy style no worries. No worries. I wake up the next morning, boom, in the corner, no worries. Okay, so no worries, that's like your brother. You know what I mean, like y'all came in together so like naturally because that one got vacuumed like you'd be looking around like where do you go? Okay, no worries. So then the next day I'm like trying to cut thought patterns in my head like, that's a two time thing. Like what are the chances? Like I'm gonna be fine. Like I'm hitting him with the like driving, like I'm gonna be fine aftermations in my head because I'm literally like, obviously I have to like, let me not say that because if for some reason I'm gonna learn that I'm gonna jail. Okay, no worries. Day three, nothing happens. I'm like bitch, it's Ovea, they were twins type shit. Third day, no worries, they were triplets. On top of that, it was giving like I literally was vacuuming like in between every single thing I'm like, obviously you guys have opened like a chile is like somewhere in my house. Like I'm looking through my house like finger on the corner like vacuuming everything, I'm like off because obviously you guys were sitting at around tables. So like once I figure out where you came from, like it's over and you will never go to Bellino Chase again. - Ever. - Ever in your life? - Beauty dog. - So no worries. I'm already like bitch, I'm panicking. Honestly no worries. Let me just even shorten the story more. So basically I get workin' in this bitch. Hashtag workin' partner that asks like workin'. Let me know if you wanna work together. I get workin' in there. He low key hit me with some nonchalant shit. I'm not gon' lie. Like it was kind of just giving like what I lit. Oh, what I'ma be sick. I'm actually not be sick. I'm not sick actually. My king was like, I was like, what can I do? 'Cause whatever it is, I'ma do it. Like if you tell me I need to like replace all of my windows like do all my shit, I'm about to text my landlord, she gon' no tea. He was like, mm, you can spray but like other than that they're gonna find a way. I'm like, you know what love, that's type honesty from a cishead straight fucking man that I did not need right now. Like he was like, yeah, you can try to do one too, but like, no, they'll handle. I was like, so I guess I'm gonna live like standing up, like standing up outside on a slab of concrete. Like I'm a sim, like I'm like so what, okay. So then why would I have windows and why would I have doors? Okay, no worries, no worries. They spray my shit. I'm like, okay, like, oh, and I'm getting a phone call. No worries, love. (laughs) I'm like, absolutely no worries. They come in, they like bombastic side of my shit. I'm like, okay, no worries. But here I am a couple days later. And when I tell you in between this like, I'm not sleep being babe, like I'm, because I'm trying to do the thing where I'm like, it's gonna be fine, like it's gonna be fine. This is the one that really set it the fuck off though, because then after I vacuumed everything, sorry, you guys already like heard the story a million times, but I vacuum everything. I move my furniture away from the walls. I'm looking behind the walls. Like I'm like, I'm literally in mind where I'm dealing with ants at the same time, don't even have time to talk about those. Like, knuckleheads, like literally like, ninkam poops, like I can't right now. I'm like moving on my furniture, cleaning everything. Like I like detailed the shit, like move that bus, the fuck out my room, so I'm like, oh perfect, caulked all of my windows. So fun by the way, which, so fun. We were talking about that, but like kind of handled after 'cause I had some caulk and I was like, this is a fun shit. No shame. - Yeah. - Caulks did my one too. I lay back and what's supposed to be like my glass throne. And I literally turned the lights off for 45 minutes, maybe 55. The thoughts are like, it's like 12, 30 in the morning, I cannot fall asleep 'cause my brain's like, you have like, something's off like, something's off like something's off. And I'm like, okay, well you're just doing that thing where you know, like, you send like some, his cord is all, it's like help me survive or whatever the fuck, like I don't know. And so I was like, no worries, I'm gonna hit my phone flashlight, do a little one two around the room to like confirm to myself, that like, I'm wrong and I'm just overreacting. Baby, I turned my light on. I hit it to the right. There's literally one of my curtain like this. Okay, so no worries. And then like, unfortunately what happens is like, at the same time, like, I deployed all of my grounding tactics. Like, I literally meditated. I was like, I was hitting my thought patterns like, nope, you're wrong, like no shade. But then unfortunately, like, I was proven right in that moment, do you see? So now I'm like, baby, I'm like two steps to the left. Like ever since then, I've been like, two steps to the left in my brain. No worries. So then blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. They come to their one two. I call working back because I'm like, honestly, like, I need them evicted. Like, I need you to, like, he came through with the brush and like, scrub the hell out of my outside type shit. Like, it was just like, get everybody in here, seriously, like now. Yesterday, I go to leave my damn house and I'm like, just starting to like, you know what I mean? Like starting to see like the clouds part and I'm like, okay, you know what? It's been a couple days, like we're back in the clear look. Like I don't know. - Pike. - But also there's these two like, ooh, no, no, no, no. I asked ones like that are outside above my doorway but I'm like, you see how technically you're outside so like I'm not even trying to handle y'all like that. But those ones are so like, ooh, no, no. The eye kept being like, they're big 'cause mind you, my partner, literally I'm my partner in life type shit. Every morning when I am, can you please make me up? It's like I'm fucking like, thanks for holding it down. So with that though, like he knows me so when I was like, there's these two big ass ones that literally have me like every time I open my door, I'm like, then I like run out and I like slam the door type shit. He was like, nah, it's good, it's good. He saw them the other day and he goes about saying go, ooh, I said, do they spray up there? I don't know and here's the thing, oh, and I'm just scared, I'm just scared because here's the thing is I'm like, the way y'all move, like this, okay. This whole situation I will say before I answer that is just like, it's got me so hyper aware of my hashtag, Q hashtag vintage apartment that I'm looking at the architecture like, if I was one of them like, obviously like, and it's not anybody's fault, obviously, I'm not saying that like my landlord should have known not or something, but I say that because the two, but I'm gonna be sick, I'm gonna be sick. There's like, I'm gonna be sick. There's, I'm gonna just say there's space for them up in the roof ski that it's like if I try to swing, they'd be like, oh, like they literally like, bye. Well, so I'm just so, I'm so scared that if they spray up there, unless they're about to like go up, like Willy Wonka, like glass elevator up and out, I'm like, obviously you guys would come down. Do you see what I'm saying? And I'm like, so don't, whatever the fuck, but whatever like, literally like man hat and lower e-side shit happening up there, I'm too scared to even like. - I will, I'm like, you know, this is your truth and your story. I do wanna offer like, two cents? - Not three? - No, no give 'em, give 'em, give 'em. - I had, as we all know, I had everything, bitch. I had, and I'm like, I didn't have the raccoon, okay. - At this point though, just give like genuinely, 'cause I keep telling people this shit, obviously 'cause it's literally been like, affecting my mind body spirit, unfortunately, and like I wish, the other thing I'll say is that I wish, like from a differentiated place, like again, my therapist literally being like, you are bigger than the spider and like, it's gonna be fine, I'm like, I know that, but through this process, I've realized like, oh no, this is like, like the arachnophobia they're talking about, where it's like, yeah, I know, and I, and I differentiated 'em like, I don't understand why I'm so shit, but every time I see like my body genuinely, like takes a screenshot, and I don't know what, and it can literally be this big, and I'm literally like, big dog and chihuahua. - You know, big dog and chihuahua. - There is some places we can go with this, and there might even be a diagnosis to be found in that, 'cause I did get clocked, like hella crazy, like in other therapies that we've been in and like, - Shout out no CD, but shout out, shout out. - With that being said, I would say, you know, my old place that I was living in, vintage the house down, the kind of vintage, I literally stitched this girl's story on TikTok, where she was talking about having a bug problem, and I literally made her a whole bust down video, like girl, this is what you gotta do, but I offer you one. I am the CEO of Chair and Noble Nukeit, babe. You gotta Nukeit, you gotta like do the Nuke where they, like you have to leave your house for like five hours, and like, you don't have, I mean, even if you have animals, you can do it, but like, even after they Nukeit, I'm like keep those windows close, too. - Yeah, but you can err, you can obviously open your windows. - With that being said, I feel like the game changer for us was when they started spraying not just in my house, but around the perimeter. - Yeah. - 'Cause I'm like, they need, they do need to hit up there, but I'm like, even if they're up there, when, if they touch where they spray, or if it's in their like, airflow, it's gonna like, take them out. And the thing is, it's like, that's kind of what you want, because if there's like, somewhere where they're like, up there and multiplying, or like, who knows what's happening, I'm just like, you do want to like, get rid of that. Do you have a hose? - Um, do I have a hose? - I think there is like a hose thing. I don't know if there's a hose. - I'm like, extenda. - Or I'm like, there's like the portable power washers, but I'm like, honestly, you probably just want to hit one of those. And like, I'm like, dude, you know, you know I got, I got someone who can handle that for you. AK and my girlfriend, who I literally do everything, but I'm like, girl, literally, we can like, go up there, handle it and, you know, where it's just like, one of those things where I'm like, I'm definitely not dealing with it. And I would be handling this the same way that you are, and I do want to validate you that your feelings are 100% valid, because it's like, yes, in theory, is it a spider? Is it something that's smaller than you for sure? But like, the reaction that it causes in the body and like the overactive, what's this called? Amaglida. - Girl, what up? - Amaglida. - Amaglida. Amaglida. - Right. - Right. - The overactive amaglida, that makes it feel the same way as if, you know, you're in front of, who gon' fight the bear? - Oh, no, quite literally. And I've actually been screaming at like every little, like, if I have like a knot, like it puts me on like a full body scream, and it's just like, it's too much. - And I-- - And I do know about that. And the paranoia for me, that spiked up all the way to actually 120, for sure. - Because three years ago was my spider era, and that one was like really bad, like, yeah. There's things happening to me that I was like, yeah. Okay, so, am I gonna be able to shoot out webs over exactly, and I'm just like, okay, no worries. I signed my lease in February, which is fine. And like, not even to fucking do too much, but I'm literally like, okay. - Yeah, okay. It's one of those things where it's like, you know, when you weigh out the pros and cons of like, going vintage or going like brand new, like, you know what I mean? Like, everything fresh out the bog. - Yeah. - It's like, those are the things you do have to weigh out. - 100, 110% and like, the realty is like, listen. I, in the same way that even like, my boyfriend and I, for example, are handling it differently. Like, there are people that can handle that. - Yeah. - You know what I mean? And like, at this point, I'm really having to make peace with the idea that like, I keep feeling like I can kind of like, almost like I can think myself into like a differentiation that is just like not happening. Like, there's just like a dissonance that is not happening, which is so annoying because I understand the problem I understand how kind of like, minuscule it can be, but like my body, just like having this very different reaction. And on top of that, like, to me, it's giving like, first adult apartment things in the sense that I've always lived in vintage units. This has always been kind of like the tea. Like, you're gonna get bugs, you're gonna get, 'cause baby, there's crack, you know what I mean? Like, there's cracks in the walls, there's cracks in the foundations. Like, that is just kind of like, what naturally comes with the territory. But I think not having roommates for the first time is a different experience 'cause now it really is, like, who's gonna bite you there? Oh, it's just me, no worries. And it's not like a three bedroom, like, 1,400 square feet. Like, there's one over there, and then there's one all the way over there. It's like, no, this is kind of just like-- - Compact. - My, the bedroom of it all is what's making it extra sinister? - No, the bedroom for me, when they were in my bedroom, 'cause yeah, I essentially found out that like, my windowsill on the right side of my bed, was like, the screen wasn't on 100%, so I just like, forever and always had it closed. And then would like, literally have to like, steam clean my windowsill with my AC. That was like, attached on it. And I literally put back on the screen, because I was so like, yeah, no 100%. - And I was like, yeah, I was like waking up with like, shit happening to my like, literally bites everywhere, which I don't wanna say, because it's like, that's not happening to you, so like, that's not gonna be your reality. But I was literally waking up with so many spider bites in the summer, it was like really, really fucking bad. - We wanna take a break to think a sponsor of today's episode, Cash App. Cash App has always been so great to have downloaded on my phone, especially when I'm shopping at the flea or farmers markets and I'm paying small, independent business owners. I feel like, honestly, for me, what it's giving is trivia night. Because I'm like, I feel like that's such a good way to A test someone's knowledge. Because if you don't want to go out with a nothing burger, you know what I mean? And they're just like, okay, girl, it's not a view. Well, it's a shelotonous test. Yes, a shelotonous test because someone who's willing to contribute to trivia night is someone who's probably going to give something. They're all there. Yeah, when you go on like a one-on-one day. That would be my stomping ground personally. A hundred percent. Yeah. And aside from our ideas, Tinder's already planning a bunch of fun events in LA area, like penmar sunset sessions. It's a pool party, a level eight downtown LA. And a trivia night, thank you at Hyde Thompson. Yeah! But it's so fun. It's so fun. So you can check out these events and many, many more on Tinder today. Discover events on Tinder. Find your spark, IRL, download Tinder today. And I remember there was one night where I literally slept with all my lights on. Yeah. So I was like, who goes there? No, literally. No, literally. And like literally slept with no fucking nothing. Like, when I tell you no comfort or a bitch, literally was just like this in my robe. Because I was like, no, I feel something going on. Oh, a hundred percent. Like, I'm literally in my, and that's, this is the ADHD popping out. And that's what I'll say on that. But I'm like, in my head, I'm like, okay, there's six months left on my lease. Two weeks of that is Christmas. Two weeks of that Thanksgiving. We're going here for this week. Like, because other than that, I'm a beyond the couch. I'm letting you know now and Sav can attest to this. When I was literally, I mean, every hard moment I've had on my life, it's literally been sleeping on Sav's couch. But I'm like, for real good, like, here. Where I was like, hey, Sav, I'm coming like literally. No, real bad. No, I literally, oh my god, no, this was deadass me last night. Because when I got the fuck home, and again, like, I feel like it's more, I don't know, it's a lot going on. But my cortisol has just been like so bad. And I literally hit them with the, you know what? It's been fine, but I'ma just check. And this literally like, okay, first black one just dropped. Like, literally was like, we were like, behind my bed, and I was like, oh, okay, absolutely no worries. Immediately. So you sleep here. Oh, you're immediately ripped my comfort off. Open mouth sobbing for 20 minutes. No shade. Because I was just like, hi, it had all been building up. It all been building up. Oh, you're talking to the CEO of the company. Oh, open mouth sobbing calls. Called my parents like 12, 30 in the morning. And the unlucky one was my mom. That finite to answer the phone and actually like, it was giving the kind of, it was giving the kind of, it was almost like we reached a new level of vulnerability. Like I was like on the phone, dry heaps. Like I went through all five stages grief where I was like, dry heaving, absolutely sobbing. I need to move immediately period. Then she, because my mom also a capricorn. So she was like, this is going to be temporary. You're going to be fine. I was like, whatever, like I literally was like, whatever. I'm going to go and she was like, she was like, I don't know if I feel comfortable with you like hanging up right now. And I was like, what do you mean? Like, why would you say that? Like, nose literally all the way plugged up. Like literally was on the phone doing that. And then also like laughing. Because it's just like, it's like, I understand the kind of absurdity of it in a sense to wear like if I was somebody who didn't give a fuck about those. And like really could, you know, bitches would be like, like they don't care. Yeah. It would be like, oh girl, what's tea? But like genuinely was on the phone feeling like Harley Quinn. Yeah. And then I had to hit my mom with the like, and this is what really, because running always comes for you in your lowest moment. Genuinely, I literally had to hit my mom with, I have to go. I have to get up at six one in the morning. Okay, no worries. Oh, okay, no worries. So I've just been like literally running in and out of my back door, 'cause I'm scared, not sleeping, 'cause I'm scared, sitting in my living room all day, 'cause I'm scared. Like guys, honestly, like just pack it the fuck up. Well, just know that my guest room, if you ever need her. No, thank you. The pull out bed. She's ready for you. No, and I appreciate that. With sheets and all, with that being said, just know that like, while surface level, it could sound champagne or like, very like, like, it's like a barefoot wine. Maybe not. It's like, yeah, it's giving like, 14, 99 barefoot wine, but at the same time, when we break it all the way the fuck down, it's like, genuinely though, there's things that like, yeah, like, you know, like, don't bother me, but like, at the end of the day, and I say this, genuinely with anything at fucking all, if there is something that's disrupting your sleep, it, that's like, honestly, where it, that's where the problem lies. It's like, yes, it's the spiders and like, your feelings was that whatever. But it's like, once you're getting into the territory, where you're like, genuinely losing sleep. Like, losing sleep is so bad for your health. And it's like, so dangerous to not be getting enough sleep. Like, so many things can like, happen and go from there. So I'm like, I do understand the severity of this, because I've lived it with different critters of my own. But like, just know that like, you are valid. And like, it could literally be anything keeping you from your sleep. Like, loud neighbors, like, whatever. But I'm just like, anything that keeps you from sleeping, like, you're good eight or seven, babe. It's like, go ahead and like, whatever. But I'm like, girl, if you need us to like, handle like, all literally go to home deep, like, sorry, not home deep out. Loose, go get twisted for a second. Go to lows and literally rent a power washer and like, handle it with my own too. Like, just know I will, because I did. I did. I was literally like, with my name, not even my own hose. My neighbor's hose literally like, get, um, get, um, but I'm like, yeah, it's just one of those things where I'm like, girl, I can come over and assess as fuck, because I do know how real and severe it is. And I literally, when I was doing my walkthrough for my old department, my landlord was like, looking through. And there was four of like, the big, like, huge five gallon, like, home defense, like, sprayers. And I was like, those came with the house. Right. No, those are like, but those are bad. But those is my own money. I was like, whoever, like, they go need this. No, um, real bad. Yeah, just like, absolutely soaked my floors and carpets. Like, no worries. And just thinking, no, and holding space for that. And like, but you're valid, dude. No, I appreciate it. No, and the sleep is, is really like, the fiercest part, obviously, because it's like, after a long day, like, I would love to go home and just kind of like, close my eyes and not, like panic wake up every two hours. Um, but you know, yeah, but it sucks because I'm like, I do, I really love my apartment. Again, #Cue, like, circle #Cue and like red ink. But like, this shit got me like next time y'all see me, I'm serving concrete floor. Yeah, like, concrete floor with the mattress in the middle of the motherfucking floor. Like, fuck it, no bad frame, because I'm just like, I, I'm feeling the transition happening. Late 20s is just such a weird time, but I'm feeling like in real time, the priority shift of like, again, and if you're somebody like, renting vintage and like doing your tang or like wanting to rent vintage, like, NLA or wherever, I'm assuming it's the same thing. Like, there's kind of like a checklist that comes with it that I think like, even two years ago, or maybe like when the duties were split up between like, me and my roommates, like, I was down to do that, you know, and like, if the, the sacrifice was worth the, oh, I have like built-in shelves and like, I have whatever like so much space, like, so much space, like, it felt very worth it. In recent years though, being like the last like couple months, I'm just like, I can't, but I, I would pay another couple hundred dollars if I'm being so freaking for real. If that meant that I didn't have to like, fix my toilet, caulk my holes, like, like home defense, like, if that meant that I could just kind of like, shut the hell up. I would do that though. No, and you're so valid and like, Loki, that's how, I don't know, I mean, because that's how I was when I was at my place for five years, like, you know, our rent stayed cheap and like, I was like, had roommates at the time. So it did seem like, and even still, I feel like I wrestled with it so much before I moved out, because once Quentin had decided he was moving out, and I was like, still kind of undecided, I was like, shit, like, should I stay in such a good deal. But then I was like, fuck, Loki, I've been a landlord myself for like, the past like five years and like, like, you know, painting walls, like, installing new light fixtures and like, all these things. And like, happy to do it, you know what I mean? And I think that like, you know, having a local landlord and not something that's like subsidized and huge. And like, 'cause that's its own set of things, you know what I mean? And I feel like there's so many pros and cons to like, each situation. - Yeah. - But I feel like, again, it kind of comes with that extra layer of like, hard work, where I'm like, even for me, I'm like, not having to climb three flights of stairs after a long ass day. And I know that's a little chetly of me. - No, that's true a little. - But it feels like, it feels like so nice to just be like, all right, I'm home. And just like, I don't know other things that I feel like I became so comfortable with or like comfortable dealing with or like, whatever. And I feel like I would rationalize it in my mind. It's like, oh, it's okay because like, whatever deal I'm getting or just the comfort of living there or the area. And I feel like sometimes it's okay if you have to like lean into something that, honestly, it's just like, you don't have to like, live inconvenience, just, you know, because you're rationalizing like, whatever. But at the same time too, I know that like, the answer isn't always like, okay, so like, where do I, you know what I mean? Like, I know that it's like a situation where like, you're here for a second and you kind of have to like, figure out how it's gonna be like manageable. - Yeah. - But like, I'm like, just know that like, I am down to help in any way that I can. - I really appreciate it. I need to take like a second. I feel like I'm just hella. - Maybe we do a staycation. - Yeah, I would love that. - Maybe we need like a weekend staycation. - Dude or something. - Yeah. - Or you can just sleep good. I feel like, like even if you just stay somewhere local and get like a hotel room and you just get someone to like crack your back in half. - Right. - What? - What? - Wait, what? - Wait, they do that there. (laughing) - Like, no, like me at the area. We're getting mad for some reason. - No, like with head. - No. - With head. - No, and yeah, I, oh my God. And it's just like the thought. - Okay, sorry. - I'm like doing the ADHD shit where I'm like thinking so far ahead, but the thought of moving. - Girl. - The thought of moving again. Honestly guys. - But this time, think of it this way. (laughing) - This time, 'cause you know I made my mind have already. - Right. - I'm like, this time, it's you. It's just you and only you, which is nice. - Yeah. - So, you know what you're bringing. And for the most part, you've kept it pretty lean. I feel like, like, pieces you've got, you've got. - Yeah, yeah, yeah. - And which, that's how I felt when I was moving. Like, I did get rid of a lot, but I also, the pieces that I knew I was keeping. Like, it felt good to just know that it was going to my next home with me. - Yeah. - But I'm like, you know, and you have friends and like, we're here to help you. - Yeah, yeah, totally. Like how she's gonna have to go over the side. No worries. Like, out the window. I'm like, no worries. - And you know what? That's, you know what? I'm starting to practice again. I've lost the art of fucking detachment. Okay. Okay. I forgot the art of detachment real bad. And my therapist clocks me so fucking crazy. She was like, so detachment. And I was like, girl, I haven't heard that word. And probably a year and a half. - But also, can I say that is literally, and I'm being so serious. Like, that is all we've been doing in our late 20s. That it's like, what do you mean to touch? Like literally, everything is changing every single day. And I say that so seriously. Like, and you know what? Like, let me talk to my early 20s again. Like, all the stuff, the y'all pussy built? Serious? - Serious. - Will change. And I don't even say that like, with a lantern, I almost say that like, honestly, free yourself because early 20s, like the concept of just like, the societal, and when it starts to turn into this. From like the societal conditioning that it's like, your early 20s are like building you up for this. And then like, whatever you do here will be like, what it's like, girl, unless you're like a doctor.as in the early 20s. - Yeah, you're gonna be like a lawyer. - Yeah. - Like some shit like that. Baby, everything I thought, clean slate. Like, late 20s is really giving me etch of sketch tees. Like, everybody wakes up every morning and like, two of my friends wanna go to Maryland. Like, my other friend go and like, learn French and then go move to France. It's like, detachment is kind of like baked in to our lives right now, I feel like. So it's also like, oh, and then you want me to like, also do that like, consciously. - Yeah. - Oh, okay. - With like an open heart. - So then I have nothing. - Yeah. - So then there's nothing. - So like, rid me of my worldly possession. - That's fine. - Well, well, well, Peter Griffin in the straight jacket. Like, it's fine. It's fine. - Cooked with that. - No, I feel that too. I feel like also something that it was my sister's birthday. How do I leave that? We went to Vegas and guys, first I must say. Sorry, hard pivot. - No, pivot. - But there's a landing point here, which is, we went to, we did so much fun shit. I mean, we did drag race again, which was everything and Kylie Sonique loved. - Oh, literally mother, father gone. - Mother goose. Mother goose. - Mother goose. - You see like the terese, like yeah. - Absolutely fucking stunning. - Going B2B with Jada Essence Hall, like. - Oh, the loop. - Kylie Sonique loves drag race live though, is did she do the one with the blue? - She did, no, it was new. She did this whole bust down number in like a, like barely nothing with like the legs. And it was like a bust down, like rap number, like, ooh, ooh, ooh, it was so. - She is literally perforped. - To most stunning women I've ever seen, like. - Ever period, like, you could never, ever read the dollar. - Right. - Absolutely fucking gorgeous. So that was like, absolutely gaggy. And my girlfriend loves drag race so much. - So you have to handle. - Yeah, like literally, literally the whole time. She was like, and we were like sitting on the side. So, Asia. - Asia, here. - Asia, here. I like kept walking by us and she was like, no, literally like, like, absolutely gagging with, Asia, here, is so freaking beautiful. - Yeah, she's everything too. - So if you ever go to Vegas, you have to do drag race life. - And they like keep like, I feel like the A-O-N Chanel from season one. - Oh my god, Chanel? - Yeah. - Which, absolutely, the outfits, that Chanel. - I heard that sister. - I heard that. - The outfits that Chanel was growing down, did an Elton John number? - Right. - Naturally, naturally, naturally. - It was like, seriously, so stunning. And then of course, like the wicked for God. Like, it's just-- - The wicked for God. - The wicked for God, with Ms. Ariana. - All right, literally, literally. - Literally. - With Ariana herself. But it was like, it was absolutely incredible. With that being said, then we ate at this restaurant called Super Freco, which we should go. It's like kind of like an art installation situation. We're like, you eat, but if you order the seafood tower, they like sing opera to you. - Oh my god. - With like a Poseidon, like, it was pretty funny. - Vegas. - Vegas for, and then I did get hate crimes by the Cosmopolitan photo booth. - Oh. - No. - But I do need to tell you about it. - I thought you were talking about how-- - Is that where we had the food? - Where they were telling us we couldn't come in because-- - Do you remember those scissors? - Okay, I thought you were wearing like a shirt and they were like, no. - No, I did get hate crimes at the Cosmopolitan. This is a joke. I love the Cosmopolitan. But they have a photo booth that's actually very gaggy. But it's, you know, the one that it's like real film, black and white, so therefore if you're black, you're not in the picture. - And if you're white, you're white, trust. - If you're white, you're lit well. - Yeah. - You're black, you're black. - Yeah, if you're black, you're like, just like teeth and not white. - Oh, 100%. - I was literally like cartoon in the dark. - 100%. - 100%. - No worries. - No worries. But it is really cute. Anyone in a neighbor there who's going to five sauce was there? - Whatever. - And they don't want to sit down. - They don't want to sit down here. - Oh my god, which reminds me, sorry. Just absolutely going all over the place. And just like, I just want everyone to know though that like at the end of the day, my heart is beating harder than it usually is like all day. Um, a new movie. Finding Emily. - That motherfucker right there? - Did you see it? - Oh, I saw it last night. I felt like I cheated. - I felt, I knew you would like spike fern. I feel like both of y'all. - Wait, I think you would like the movie. - He's the one of the-- - So, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Like I literally would fall. - They don't even make you feel-- - I just have to be honest about that. - Absolutely, stop. - And they had him playing literally like hand in the fucking shit bitch. (laughs) - How you know there are just one of my-- (laughs) - Okay, here's the thing though. (laughs) - Woo! Like honestly, I wouldn't pay to be you, sir. I wouldn't because like you were cursed with the affliction of like, like he was actually killing it so hard that I was like, this is crazy because I forgot about these kinds. I watched a trailer and I was like, they, this is like damn near like a lone German, Dylan O'Brien pull like that out. - Well, what's that? - Because you literally-- (laughs) God. - Okay, stop. - You got that. - Stop. - He's got that. - Stop. - Stop. - You. - Stop. - You. - Stop. - I knew you were going to like my problem. - No, stop. Here's the problem. Here's the problem. During that movie, I literally was like, whoa. But like for us in our generation, this kind of guy, specifically the fact that he's like British or whatever, is going to be our like, these are like heart-drop type. - No, you know what it is. It's the snogging, what's the-- - Angus songs and perfect snogging. - And my take, and free, whatever. - Errant, whatever. - That was like for Angus songs, perfect snogging. - And that's what I'm saying is like, he was hitting that kind of like early 2000's rom-com find that I was like, honestly, sir, no fucking worries. And honestly, and I'll say it, I'll say it, they didn't want to make her a woman of color. - No. - Y'all didn't want to take it there because if you wanted to have a Sundance-ass movie, no shade to my sister, actually no shade. She was just kind of serving Taylor Swift T's without spoiling. It was kind of giving, okay girl, you like you take-- It was giving, it was giving, Gen Z was writing it. And then maybe a millennial when it with the red pen and was like, what if we added this and it was like, okay, no worries. If they would have liked, if it would have bit for me, and this is just me, me when I think someone's fine, I'm like, if it would have been somebody that I don't know, if it would have been just like, what pad like, bitch did y'all send the script to send it? I know, we don't know, is she down for like, if Chase Infinite, he's around. - No, like, nobody even shacked. Like, nobody wanted to see like, oh my gosh, or like the diva from Bridgerton, what's her name? The younger sister in season two, which I'll know that's my favorite. - Oh, she's-- - She would have, or where, Laura, Gen, like, they just didn't want to wake at the fuck. - Taylor Russell. - Taylor Russell. - Taylor Russell. If Taylor Russell took this-- - Well, Taylor Russell couldn't, but-- - Taylor Russell. - But she would have just been like, giving this overlapped. - Oh, like, if they would have put a woman a color in there. - Fuck it, can we get someone on the scene? Like, fresh out the ball? - Well, right. - Honestly. - One of you? - Right. - Well-- - Baby, they would have sent me, they would have sent me that script with that head shot. I would have been like, I can't do this. - Oh, yeah. - Babe, I can't do this like-- - That would have been like, no, I'm cheating, no, I'm cheating. - Like, why light, like-- - That's crazy. And King, like, you can still come sit on the couch and we're not trying to like, like, go boom, boom, clap for real. But like-- - Wow. - Genuinely-- - But why don't you give you your flowers that, like, you do have one of those face cards that absolutely gag it all the way to the top. - And think-- - Or-- - God, because, like, for me personally, like the last couple, and again, romcoms are dead. Let's wake the back up. But like, the last couple romcoms I saw, I was like, y'all cute. Like, you know, it was giving, like, you guys are cute. Like, I'm like, really obsessed with you guys. But like, this one was giving, like, dead-ass, give me the VR goggles. - No way! - Dead-ass, dead-ass, again. Dead-ass, y'all didn't even let me read for dead-ass. - And that's why when I watched the trailer, I made it 30 seconds hit pause. - Well, y'all knew not to show me that trailer. - Well, I-- - 'Cause I went to God. - Girl, when I-- when we got the trailer in the email, I was literally like, "Fuck, and this is what?" And again, another reason to move, I'm sorry, because it's just like, if I was sleeping eight hours, like, I would catch every email you see, but I don't, and then I just absolutely miss how opportunities like- - I was literally just like this. So we're gonna do hot ones. - I knew, I knew you would like it, and I was just like, you have to come across it organically, I guess, 'cause if I told you that- - It was a good shot of thing. - Yeah. - And here's the thing that's frustrating. Can I express some frustrations about my friend? - Yeah, of course. - Of course. - You have to almost like trick her. - Yeah. - Like, you have to almost make it be like, booze in the movie. - Well, like, because- - I don't remember anyone mentioning a rom-com to me though. - Girl. - Girl. - And I love you. - Okay, girl. - Girl, the tape bag. - No, it didn't. - And you know what? I'm a, yeah, I'm gonna say, like, yeah. - I'm gonna say, y'all- - But I'm happy this one came across your desk. - I am happy for you. - I'm gonna say, y'all, okay. Damn it, and I wish you guys saw it. I'm gonna say, let me know when you've seen it, because I have notes, and there's reasons why I would say, you know, there's notes, and there's reasons why I said, what I just said as well. - Okay. - About a potential, you know, like, I don't know, but man, and it, yeah, I'm gonna let y'all watch it actually, 'cause anything else I say will be a spoiler, so it's just like, no worries. - Okay. - It was good, though. It's worth the watch. - Shhh, he needs to be put somewhere that I can't see. For me personally, it's just like- - I mean, they hate it. - And it's just not even your fault. - No, it's a haircut. - Everything's a projection. And I'm just, I remember you. You know what I'm saying? Like, I remember you on Tumblr, you, like, you gotta go. And that's what I was saying, too, as I was, like, no shade and, like, love to the girls, but it's like, if they would have thrown in, like, an indie fucking Zoe Kravitz-ass bitch for the girl lead, then y'all would have had gifts made, you see? I haven't seen any gifts. - Yeah. - I haven't seen any, I don't know. - We need edits. - We need edits. And I just feel like- - We need that like, if the editor is- - Is it a little? - Yeah, if we would have teased it. - If they would have, like, freaked it and sleased it, and, like, get me, like, one of them artsy all-hows in that bitch, y'all would have had, y'all would have had, like, the twilight edits, like, they don't want to micro. - Just a little about the eyebrow, nothing too crazy. - It's all gotta be nothing too crazy. You're like, I'm sorry, like, high fidelity-ass bitch in that role. - Literally three-week-old braids. Like, it would have been- - A big draw. - It would have been, like, it would have been, it would have been, like, perfect for me. But that's just me projecting myself into the lead. Like, I'm like, so, I don't understand why I don't go or reflect into the lead. - Oh my god. What was that movie where she couldn't go outside? - Oh my gosh, I don't know. - With Bella's house, like, I don't know what it was called. - No, it was with that demon because she was dead. - That son of something. - Amanda. - Was he fine? - Amanda. - Amanda Steinberg? - No, no, what's her name? - Amanda Steele. Steele something. - Amanda Steele. - Or Steele Berg or something. - I think it's Amanda La Steinberg. - Oh, La Steinberg. - I know, I know. - When he was- - Oh, it was from my boy, Simon. - Amanda La Steinberg. - Yeah, Amanda La Steinberg. - Guys, come on. - Okay, sorry. I don't know how I knew how, but like, it just came to me and it came to me. - Amanda La. - Oh, like, everything. - Like, it was everything? - Everything. - Flo, absolutely, we're done. - And that's what I knew. - No, but that's what makes it good. - That's what I knew. - But like, we need to bring some guys, just send us- - Just great. - You never know. - That's a result. - What? - I'll do some redone shit. - No, I literally- - Like, you're like, yesterday, don't, like, we would have had to run it. Zach and Vanessa, like, bitch, we would have been in the tabloids. - Yeah. - They would have been in fucking Europe, like, who is this bitch out of a light list? They're like, you know what I mean? - Yeah, literally put some wax in my hair. I can't feel like, you know what I mean, my- - Y'all ain't gonna tell me shit. - No, 'cause that was absolutely insane and like, honestly, personally, like, if he's not an asshole, then it's like, you're not even maximizing your power. - No. - Like, you looking like that and you got that movie out. - I feel like- - I feel like- - It's all for me, bitch. - Fuck you, fuck you. - It's like, literally fuck you stop texting me. - Yeah. - Seriously. - Yeah. - Like, seriously? - Off me wench. - You know, like, get your fucking hands off me. I'd be like, and that would be fair. - Yeah. - You see how that's fair? - I see how that's coming from. - All jokes aside, no, I think, yeah, yeah. (laughing) All jokes aside, go see that shit. And it's just like, oh wow, and it's just like, yeah. - Speaking of men, not maximizing their power, just kidding, just kidding. That actually has nothing to do with anything. - What, I really just wanna talk about desperately is guys, can we talk about the scams that are happening in the world right now? - The scams? - Yes. - What scams? - Zajon love. - What? - The football player? - What? - Do you know about this? - Girl, y'all know I've been- - Oh my god. - Oh my god. (laughing) - What is happening? - Okay. - So, Zajon is in like, Dijon? - I don't know, I don't know. - Oh, oh, sorry, I saw Zajon love. As long as Zajon is like, Dijon, like, the same guy? - 49ers. - 49ers. - Okay, listen to this sister. - Look at me. - This is very much, um, Mantaiteo. Did you see the Mantaiteo documentary? It was about this king. Well, actually, no, this is giving reverse 'cause they scammed as the guy. Or they scammed as the girl. - Scammed as the guy. - Okay, okay, okay. - Okay, go back up. See his mug shots actually fucking crazy. In the video, you can kind of, yeah. That's him. We'll get to him. - 18? - Oh, no, help, tell, tell. - Okay, so this is what happened. Essentially, he was pretending he was in the 49ers and scammed so many women out of, like, multiple. It was like $1.3 million that he scammed out of women. And, and had his 18, like, an 18-year-old guy say he was like his business partner. And so, essentially, what he was doing was like, meeting women said he was like, Niner gang, whatever, which I'm dead. And he was like, actually, I just need to play the TikTok for everyone 'cause you're just gonna be weak as fuck. But essentially, what he was saying, like, he was cat-fishing. He was cat-fishing and saying, like, oh, his family owned properties. Like, they were just, like, contractors or something. I don't know. And we were building a shit ton of properties. He said he was from Switzerland and he grew up there. And his story was absolute bullshit. - Right. - With that being said, like, even if you watch him run routes and, like, do, like, the karaoke, you're like, oh, babe, like, you can't. - Like, that's him? - Yeah, and he would just always have his, like, help it on. - Wait, so this is, like, what he was, like, posting type shit? - Yeah, and then he was like, yeah, whatever. Let's, let's, let it happen. Wait, where's the, oh, wait. - With the 49ers had been. - Moved it to the left. Down. Oh, yeah, that was, like, yeah, that one. - My family is one of the richest families in Switzerland. Like, we're developers. So we develop more-- - This is a video of the 10 girls. - Luxury, estates, community. Lustery communities, which could be homes at a 4.5 million dollars house in the blood. One of the homes that I have right now. Wow, he's flying so well. We also do like loaning million, anything over a million dollars to certain companies who are already established. So for instance, I think the biggest girl who had no idea would be like, "I would be like, yeah." But he said, "We would loan millions of dollars to companies." For example, McDonald's. I'm sorry. Mining a million dollars to McDonald's. That's like how I talked. That's literally how I talked. Like, what are you fucking? No, and he is loaning like that. And so he would be like, "Yeah, like, for example, my family owns shares in three Gucci stores. Gucci's a fucking conglomerate." Like, what do you mean your family owns shares? Well, that's sharing is like as your friend who just heard conglomerate for the first time. I'm literally like full of what? Like what? No, for heads out. In case like spike for and like reaches out and is like, "Hey, Maya." In case like spike'd earn, like no one check literally. I'm like, "Yeah." And he's like, "Hey, so my family owns like three shares of Gucci store conglomerates. I just want you to know that like whatever money he's telling you to throw down to triple your income." It was spiked for a separate video that looks like this. I'll be like, "Girl, stop talking. What's the Venmo?" Like just the Venmo and how? Well, and that's the thing that gags me when I did see the mug shot. And that's why he has his cap on tight and low. Tight and low baby because. Wait, okay. So, okay. Well, he also got the headband. And it's 33. I'm sorry. Damn. Sorry. A young hoe. No. No. No. In the NFL, if you're 33, baby, them knee caps. And this is what I was saying. Like, this is how you get scammed. Because I'm like, like my point of reference is what like LeBron James. And he's like 48. Look at Dave John love sharing like his, like showing his wealth. I need. Okay. Wait. So what was the scam, though? Do you know what? So his scam is essentially he would like tell girls and be like, "Hey, so I'm developing this real estate property in Miami." Okay. And if you give me like $6,000 to put in all like quadruple your money in like a year or whatever. Yeah, but like he's like, oh, wait, do the one where it's the concrete background. I think it's the one where he says like, that's about it. He was like, ask whoever you have to ask like, I don't know if it's that one. Let me try and find it. He literally was like, ask whoever you have to ask like your. And then he was like, I'll put the money that you had to borrow in an expedite account. What the fuck's an expedite account? Not a nothing account. I said, actually, he was like, then I'll expedite the money. So whoever you borrowed from will have their money. And then like, you know, you'll have to wait back on your investment, but he would just ghost the girl. Well, yeah. Like he would like, he's a skater. Disappear pull up somewhere out. I'm just weak because like as a girl who don't know what none of that means. Like I'd be like, okay, yeah. I'm just like, you actually play. I was born to, you know, I have been played a game this season yet. Right. Because I'm it's like, you see him on the field. Then this is what he was saying. What number was he? Because he like had like, 49, 49ers. No, he was like, he was number seven. So this is what he said. I've watched every single video because all the girls are posting. Yeah. The girls who didn't get scammed. Right. Girl, I saw right through. Yeah. Because essentially he said that he was number seven or eight. Six seven. And I'm sorry. And he said that the guy who had that number, he was like, Oh, yeah, he's going to trade it off of me once I like, you know, start playing. Because he said he fucked up his hand. And so they're like keeping him on the team. And so the guy who's his backup is the one that's like, yeah, because he had all these cars. Wait, I need to show the one where he's like, this my that's the text. No. Oh, he was like, this my McLaren, it's 200,000 like, this might be MW is literally like, that's why the shades up like is like, what is happening? Oh, yeah, here, I'm going to text these. This shit is literally like this is crazy. This shit is hell. Oh, wait, this is the one where he's like, I'm sorry, anyone who has to tell me how much shit costs. I'm like, you're so fucking brokey by Lotto. It's not even like we can't even we can't even get into it. No, let me see because like I other than the fact that I wouldn't send anyone money just because I'm not doing that type shit. I'm like the the word play of it all. Like if I met him at a bar and he told me all this, I would believe it. I was that I'm about to show you, for example, this chain is a quarter of a million dollars. I will just say, and one who actually has this much money would never let you know this, they have this much money. Are you do you want to die? Is that real or fake? You think they're fake? I think it's real. I just think that you would literally get shot dead in the street. Yeah. Anyone who would rob you fucking belong. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like no one who actually has that much money or like someone who is like well-known or whatever would never let you know their chains, their cars, what bitch, that'd be the Addy bitch. Right. And well, and like I'm literally gonna pull up in my room. Like the Addy is a thank you. No, the audience. I'm gonna pull up in my poo-shyced. This is crazy. Everything is flawless, stones. It's made by Johnny Dane. Johnny Dane. This watch is a fatigue, fully buzzed down. It's a hot. Yeah, this is, this is odd energy. Like what prompts at this video? This is American Express. Not the black. That's the one they send you when they're like, do you want to join American Express? That's on a real black card. You would never show the front of your card because that's the actual number. Oh, well, that's your number, yeah. Those front four. So I'm like, I could just like silence. As someone who works at Amics, that black card thickens back, right? Yeah, my dream like don't even talk to me like that. Like what? These are some of my toys right here. This is my toys. That's literally a ghost toy. Girl. I don't think you're driving. That's why you see the shades up here. For me. The shades up is there. That was it. I mean, when I was sexy in the back of my parents car. It's like only way you see. How do you get all these colors? Cause he scanned $1.3 million out. But are they his cars? Or is he just outside someone else's out of the rental? That shouldn't be cute, bro. In any way, you know, these girls were pressing him like, what do you mean? That's why he has all because literally this one girl. This one girl was like, I don't believe you. He will. Cause she was like, he just met him like outside of the mall or something. He like walk up or like, oh, can I get your number whatever. She texted and she was like, Hey, I'm so and so like from the mall or whatever. He sent her a three four point, like four and a half minute voice memo. And it was so long that it was a file like it sent as a file. And he had like text under it. And she was like, I'm not listening to that bullshit. Like, do you just send this to everyone? Like she was like, this is weird. Why is it a file? And he was like, cause it's so long. But I want to explain like who I am to you. Because like, you know, before like, I know you're going to look me up and stuff. And she was like, get out my phone, fucking plan, playing on this damn phone that I paid, pay this phone bill and you're playing on my phone. Oh my god. But this video actually sent me a spot cause it makes no sense. This provided account to where it'll make you at least that money. That's your friends that you borrow to where you can pay them back. And then you'll have an account set up based off of that equity and momentum. That's the only thing I could think of because like if it was actually your money, you could just leave it in there. But if you borrow money, you're going to have to pay them back. You know, that's why I say like, just tell them like, yo, you got 5,000 electricity to the bar for four days, like say whatever you have to say to do it because I guarantee you in four days, you'll have that money back. If not, I'll pay for it myself because for me, it's all about, if you say you're going to do something, do it. It's not about money, a dollar amount when you rich. It's about keeping your word, you know, and I'm going to tell me, even though don't start trying to talk about it for five days or three, four days, three four days, tell them three days, you had the money back to them. So that's what I was suggest you do. Even if you got after best friend, we will get my best friends. No, I know. Bitch, there's this ceiling. I'm about to have in my next apartment trust. Like a no type of bug getting through that. I'm going to tell you that right now on the 21st floor eight. No way. Well, and I'm going to be sending videos like and then I got like four stakes in Taco Bell conglomeracy. So if you want to like them when we 30, like I'll have 60 by the end of the week. No, so he was like telling women this and literally being like, oh, you know, if you, you know, borrow the money from your mom or whatever, I'll put it in this account. So that's sick. Yeah. So then I'll like give you that money back by the time, like the end of the week or whatever. And you know, it'll be handled whatever and I literally was like, obviously never happened. He literally scammed $1.3 million which is like Rico. - Yeah, that's interesting. - The IRS was like 1.3. - Yeah, it's on. - So he got arrested like the house down as fuck. The thing that actually had me really reflecting on this shit because I'm also watching, which will be in my neighborhood watch, but that's for later. Love trapped, the podcast about playing at-- - I know, I know, I want to listen to that. - Dude, it's like I keep again, like I'm on like episode 10 at this point. - Oh, there's a hell of episode? - Yeah, 'cause I was like, what could there be 10 episodes about? - Absolutely gagging me. - But that's all you were saying it's about him though, right? - Yeah. - It's like different stories, it's just his. - No, it's his, but like-- - It's his. - There's so much more-- - Yeah. - That like-- - Yeah. - 'Cause there's so many more people, like it's actually fucking crazy. Anyways, with that being said, I was thinking about people who scam and lie or like woo lady, did you hear about her? I don't really know anything about her. There's this lady, I think she's called like woo lady or something. - Okay. I don't know what she was even selling. It was like a skin product or something. I really don't know. All I know, high level, is that she said that USPS lost 300 of the packages. And the proof that she showed was this like tiny piece of paper that they were like, this is confirmation. And she was like, it's confirmation that all 300 packages got lost by USPS. And I was like, and this girl made like a video explaining like how that's like huge problem because it's like the United States Postal Service like not UPS or FedEx, whatever. Like they can't just lose 300 packages. Like there would be the only investigation. Like it'd be national news, whatever. Long story short, I was thinking about all these scammers and I was like, y'all could really be someone. - Oh, for sure. Like that's an actor. - No one wants it as bad as y'all want it. Like if we really put the motion in the ocean behind something honest and true and real. - Well, right. - That's like the antithesis you see. - I know, but I was like, low key, he could act. - He could. - In an NFL biopic. - No, biopic. - Well, he knows how to be a 49er. - Niner gang. - Well, that's Niner gang. - This one guy called him, which was like the video was so fucking funny. But he was explaining how like he was like, SF. No one from SF would, like no one from San Francisco was calling it SF, like bitch shut up. And just all the stuff and he was like 1.3 million, bitch, I do 1.3 billion. Like he was like, I'm really just mad because like I didn't think of it before him. Like he was like, I'm not even gonna hold y'all. I ain't got it like that. - No, and that's real. And I was like, you're so real, but I was like, if he just, even if it was like. - Where's he from? - He was not from, right. He has family in Switzerland. - But I'm just like, you wouldn't even ask him to like, speak some, something like that. - I mean, well, I mean obviously scams are, scams are just so tough. 'Cause they just cast a net wide until they like handle something, which is like so scary. I just like can't, I, as somebody who has like, kind of almost like a genuine, like I get like a genuine anxiety and compulsion if I'm not like oversharing and being like too honest. Like if I remember a detail about something, I have to go back and be like, and I just remembered this just so you know, like I, the concept of just lying, and then not even just lying, but like scamming, like getting money from people and actually going to sleep at night is like that. That's the part that gags me so bad. - Dude, the scam culture is actually so insane. And just like what people will do. - Well, it's just like I understand, I mean, I don't understand him doing this, you know what I mean? Like I understand people going to like desperate lengths for like money and like whatever and like the socioeconomic state of the world. - In a serious way? - 100%. - I mean like he was just a greedy bastard for real, you know what I mean? And I think that like most of these people who are like flexing like a fake wealth. And like again, the people that they're scamming is their fellow man. Like they're not even doing a big one on anyone that matters. Like there's nobody want to scam up, nobody want to scam up for real. - No one's doing their big one. - Girl, you know, Target has those sensors on their baskets now they say that can literally tell like how, like tracks you as you go amongst the store. That could have been fake news of Facebook real that I saw in Tech Talk, but I did see a Tech Talk about it. - I'm just like I haven't even gone there in so long. - It's just like, it's just one of those things. It just is like guys just let some bitches take shit. Like y'all really mad for real? - ATP, but we don't have to get into that. - They are, we're just kidding. - Right, allegedly, with that being said, I do think that like if he clocked in to anything - To anything. - Literally, he should just be in sales. - Girl, just big conviction he speaks with. I'm like honestly, you should have like done like, nobody wanted you sales no more. - No one wants to do sales anymore. I'm like medical sales, you bitch, you would have had anything flying off the shelves. Fuck it, sell peptides. Like, he had peptides in a way that like no one else could have. - He could sell, yeah, he could sell anything. - But I'm just like, yeah, scam artists. I'm like see how you were able to sell something that wasn't even real medical device sales. - Imagine what you could do with the nasty Kate Spade purse. Imagine what you could have done at Lula Roe. - Honestly, imagine what you could have done on the TikTok, TikTok auction. - TikTok auction. - People who like sell stuff on TikTok shop. - Yeah. - When I tell you, the people who are literally flipping and turning backs, like it's their full time job, or literally anything, like I see that like, there's so many brands. - There's so many selling. - Girl and I, I'm buying. I bought the Doritos, garlic, parm, buffalo, wing, and spicy, dill pickle flavor smoke. - Flavor smoke. - Flavor smoke. - From Frito, like on TikTok shop. So you could just damn yourself me about anything. - No, real bad. - He could have worked out a mall kiosk. Like I, it's just one of those things where I'm like, you're a fellow man. - Is insane. - Is insane. So I've just been thinking a lot about people who do, go to Extreme Lanes. And I'm like, you're on that dog right now. - Oh, I mean, it's like, I don't even know. I feel so sick. I feel so sick. I'm like, I don't even know how much people were giving for real. - Well, there was a documentary where you should watch it. It's on the, I think it's the untold series on Netflix. Have you seen those? A lot of them were like sports stories though. - Yeah. - But they had one about Man Titeo, which is like this guy who was like a really popular college football player. And then like, I think he went pro or something, but he was getting catfish like pre-neaved days. - Yeah. - And it ended up doing a catfish episode about the hails. Right? - I don't. - Wait, sorry, continue your story. - Well, because he found out who the catfish was, but it was like early, early days when it was like, nobody was really catfishing for real. So like nobody was like checking. But it was crazy because I don't think there was like, a big financial incentive involved. However, it was giving like he was talking about her on the news and shit. Because she had like died at one point and then like came back to life. And it was like a whole thing. - I'm talking about something completely different. - Oh yeah. No, I'm talking about them. - No, I don't know about this. - It's made my tale. Well, there's a documentary on it. It is kind of like gnarly. It's very like, exactly. It's very like before our time in a way. We're like, now you see stuff like that and you would be like, you didn't ask her to like, face time because you know, the catfish, like the catfish effect. But yeah, it was crazy because he was like talking, like she was a part of his kind of football press story in a way where it's like, oh, he has this girlfriend who like got sick and like she died and all this stuff. And like he was on some like, I'm playing this game for her. Like that, it's gaggy, it's gaggy. - That was like, well, there was like a different catfish story where I think this girl, she was getting cat, it was like the same catfish. The catfish, catfish's girl to be like a basketball player or something. And the girl was like, oh, like you're so-and-so, whatever. And then while she was catfishing the girl, she catfished the actual basketball player. - Wait. - And then they actually ended up like talking. - Like actually seeing each other and like hooking up for real. And then I don't remember who, I know exactly what you're talking about. They didn't realize that like they had been talking to like catfish. - Pretty bird, right? - Yeah. - And then she was like, yeah, I like didn't even know. And then this girl ended up catfishing someone again, or she got catfish? - Wait, the catfish got catfish. - I don't remember the actual story, but I remember the vibe of damn them having their numbers. - Yeah. - Like sports is all as serious. - It's all as serious. - It's crazy. - Anyways, yeah. - Okay, well don't catfish guys seriously. - Like catfish. - Don't catfish. - And don't, unless it's like some Robin Hood shit. Just jokes though. - Just jokes. - You know about Robin Hood? Just jokes though. - The hawk to a coin. - Damn near. - Oh. - That's honestly the same shit, but. - And she ain't going to jail? - No, 'cause Trump should, but. - Well, they don't want to talk about that. - Well, 'cause Trump did that shit too, but. - Oh, but it's just jokes when they do it. - But it's just like when Trump gets a coin, a Bitcoin, it's fine. But when I want to do the Dom Roberts Bitcoin, - And then pull out my money immediately. - You're going to go to jail. - I get in trouble. - It's weird. - It's weird. - Okay, well yeah, neighborhood watch is finding Emily like all the fucking shade. - All the shade. - And like if he wants to sell a bit coin like I'll buy. Sorry, I'm sorry. - This guy's go watch that shit and then come back to me and talk to me about it and let me know, but I'm just like personally, it really woke up like, it woke up a kind of ting that like I haven't felt in a little while of like seeing somebody on screen and being like, and no worries love if you came into the Q&A right now, I'mma have to go. - That's why you need to watch, um, we're back. - We're back. - But I do want you guys, as a film, I really do want you guys to see it and let me know what you think. - Okay D. - Because I think there's things. - I'm like, Loki, I wish I could watch it today. I am supposed to run four and a half miles though. - Today? - Yeah. - We didn't even talk about ready. - I know. - What were we doing at bonus, so? - Oh, we'll talk about it in the book. - Well, we want to like that book. - We're doing a bonus and we're also, oh my God, we got the cookies. - I think the cookies are here. - We're trying the Minecraft crumble cookies. - We're trying the Minecraft crumble cookies and we're honestly just, I'm just gonna spill my guts on there. (laughs) - Oh, oh, also we're gonna talk about our Love Island reunion thoughts on the Patreon. - Right. - BT Dubs, so if you're interested in our thoughts on the reunion, it's gonna be on the Patreon. - Right, and I have more thoughts on finding Emily that just simply cannot live in the public sphere. - Yeah. - So I'll see you over there. Dom will also see you over there and you can also like see like a crumble cookie over there. So shout out to your Patreon obviously, but if not, like y'all get the gist. - Yeah. Neighborhood watch being, you already know Love Trap, you have to, and the Diva who's, who compiled like everything the information, like set up the interviews, like I'm like, we're not, (laughs) but the way people are podcasters for real. - People are podcasters. - I'm like, holy mother podcasters. - They're doing podcasters. - And shows. - And shows. - We're doing web shows. - We're doing I Carly. - Literally, we're doing I Carly. - Yeah. - Which is like-- - Well, yes, absolutely yes. - Well, who else is gonna be I Carly? - And thank God. - And thank God. - Thank God. - Whatever. But anyways, she's doing podcasting, like capital P. - Like podcasting like a show. - Yeah, we're like in audio show. - You win Emmys, like that's what. - People, what's it? The Golden Globes where you can win? - You can win something for podcasting. - Yeah. - Wow. - Honestly, honestly, for a Golden Globe, the way she's compiled everything, she's actually so smart. - No, like the way she's throwing that bowl back up. - No, no, no, no, no. - But this shows absolutely, I've like, I've been listening to it on my runs because I'm like, tell me some bullshit while I'm like breathing heavy. - While I'm breathing heavy and trying to disassociate. - So love trot. - All right, well, we have it. We're gonna go handle this bone yanka. - Bone yanka. - This bone tanta. - And we'll be seeing you guys. We love you so much. Next Wednesday, okay. - Next Wednesday, okay. Like whatever comes up, okay. - Okay. - There's a joke. - I'll tell 'em the picture. - Okay, guys. - Okay. - Bye, guys. - Okay. - Okay, guys, bye. (upbeat music)

The anxiety can be overwhelming, sometimes leading to panic attacks or sleeplessness. Validating the feelings and recognizing that the reaction is real, even if the threat is minor, helps manage the emotional response. Grounding techniques and mindfulness can also reduce overactive fear responses.

Nukeit is a method of temporarily leaving the home for 5 hours to eliminate pests and reset the environment. It's recommended because it removes the stress of dealing with pests at home and allows for a clean start, especially when the issue is affecting mental health and sleep.

Yes, removing yourself from the environment can help break the cycle of fear and anxiety. The physical act of vacating the home, combined with proper cleaning or professional pest control, can significantly reduce the presence of pests and provide peace of mind.

Losing sleep due to pest-related fears can worsen anxiety and lead to physical symptoms like high cortisol levels. It's a significant health concern, and recognizing that sleep loss is a clear sign of a deeper issue helps prioritize solutions like professional pest control or temporary relocation.
