the title of my word is same mind, same love, Philippians 2, 1 to 15, same mind, same love, because we have same Christ. Parahong is it, Parahong Bhagavik is on Christong, I think on, Philippians 2, 1 to 5. Therefore, if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from His love, and if any common sharing in the spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like minded, so by saying like minded, having the same love, being one in the spirit, and having one mind. Not looking for your own inner, do not do nothing out of selfish ambition, or when conceit, rather in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interest, but each of you to the interests of others. In your relationship with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus, Angandana. So the big idea, okay, the preaching cover will rope around this wonderful big idea, that pride destroys unity, but the mindset of Christ protects us. Pride destroys unity, and the mindset of Christ protects it. Meaning unity begins when I stop asking, "What about me?" and start asking, "How can I serve?" and when I stop asking, "What do I do?" and start asking, "What do I do?" You know, that's a problem, and one of the biggest threats may not be up from coming from outside, because the greatest threat is inside our hearts. When we talk about threats to the church, among the bantas in Bahan, we usually think about outside attack. You know, like persecution, culture barriers, false teachings, pending financial difficulties of our problems, or opposition, or political opposition, but sometimes the greatest threat in unity doesn't come from the outside of the church. It comes from the inside heart. The problem is that we don't have any attack from Bahan, we don't have any attack from our hearts. And one of the biggest threats in the unity of the church is I think pride, because we can have one vision, but you know competing egos, we have one vision statement, we memorize already the vision statement, but the problem is the competing egos of the leaders and the members. Pending one church, but the problem is we are operating in different kingdoms. One church, but people fighting for recognition, that is a problem, that is a threat. And I witness many churches here in the Philippines crumbled, not because they cannot defeat the walls of the devil, coming from the outside, but they crumbled because of this unity. This unity harms the church. So you can be doing the right ministry, but is there a possibility that you're doing this for a wrong reason? The answer is yes. You can't not be ministry-time, but it's still a motive. Yes. And Paul understood this, so why he doesn't simply tell the Philippines to be united, and the Indians are being, "O Philippians, be united," but he addresses that unity is possible when there is humility operating inside the church. And so Paul wrote to the Philippi, Paul writes Philippi, and he was imprisoned when he wrote this letter, we call this prison letters. She got a four or five letters of Paul, was written inside the prison cell, okay? And interestingly, Philippi appears to have been church deeply loved by Paul. That's the only church that has a very beautiful, very beautiful church. So the problem is even this wonderful church established by Paul, was not immune to relational tension, make Gulu, okay? As a matter of fact, they were the key personality in the growth of the church in Philippi. But he didn't have the scripture but telling us that there was tension between them. So, tension, or relational tension, possible, happening inside the church. The answer is yes, because we are not yet perfect yet. Tamapuba. So if you think the church is, you know, contenting in your own church, a well-known conflict, there is a conflict in the church and we will be encountering several conflict inside the church. And so that there's something very important that you can love Jesus. You can serve Jesus and still disagree with another person who loves and serve Jesus. So where do you want? So do you love Jesus? Yes. Is the person also love Jesus? Yes. But is there a possibility that we're still in conflict with each other? The answer is yes. Tamapuba. Tamapuba. So on question is whether this agreement will happen, this agreement inside the church will surely happen. And if this is one of the confirmation for you to leave the church, you will always find yourself leaving the church. Because a possible and conflict. And so Paul answered them with this best antidote. So we have the same mindset as Christ Jesus. So if the mindset, orientation, different person, different upbringing, different style, different leadership style, but is unity possible? If there are, you know, difference? Yes. So today, this is the question that I will answer and I will be providing answer to this question. How can we build unity in the church or family in a way that exalts Jesus in our community? Are you ready? Are you ready? Number one, unity starts with what we have in common. When unity begins, how can we build unity in the church or family in a way that exalts Jesus in our community? It is because of the same Christ's love and the same spirit. As a matter of fact, we also share the same grace, which is God's enabling power. So yimpaka-kai-banaten will not be a threat. Our differences will not be a threat to the church. As a matter of fact, our differences will also be a tool to unite us together for a common fellowship. Amen. But we don't have the ability to go to church. Okay. So what unite us in Christ is greater than what differentiates us from one another. So is unity possible? Yes. We have a common denominator. Christ, spirit, love. Again, what is the question? How can we build unity in the church of time or family in a way that excels Jesus in our community? How can we build unity in the church of time? Or family in a way that excels Jesus in our community? same Christ. And do we allow the Holy Spirit to work in us in the Kingdom of God? Ibaiba doesn't mean maka kaiba. As in the sabri to that, we need the mind of Christ as we do ministry together. We need the mind of Christ and the attitude of Christ as we glorify him inside the Kingdom of God. What is again the question, how can we build unity in the church or family in a way that exalts Jesus in our community? Number three, the problem will be pride, because pride turns ministry into competition. This is a problem. The problem of the church, if we go back to the Kingdom of God, when we are called by God to be called by God. The problem of God is that we don't know where we are, we are called by God. I am called by God, okay. I am called by God because I am called by God. So we will be called by God and we will operate in pride. That pride will be a threat to the church and not only to the church but also to your community, to your family as well. So what do you think of unity, pride turns ministry into competition. We need to remove pride. Philippians 2, 3. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. So there are two dangerous things mentioned by the great Apostle Paul. Number one, Salpish Ambition. Salpish Ambition. Salitan Salpish Ambition is from the Greek word Aratea, sense of rivalry, the idea of selfish ambition, rivalry or self seeking or advance one's own interests. That's the problem of doing ministry. I have pastors, assistant pastors, overseers who are still operating in pride. That's my song leaders, decons, operating in pride and we witness of how their ministry crumbled, because it's because of my own pride. Remember, how will this benefit me? If I will be given the chance to be the song leader, how will this benefit me? Is the camera, is the camera, the camera will be focused on me. They always ask this question. I don't benefit you. If I will be exerting about money, how will this benefit me? Will people recognize me? Why did they get the opportunity? Aratea is irritating. If I will be given the chance to be the song leader, there are people in the Church once that all these satellites will be focused on them. If I will be given the chance to be selfish ambition, I will be given the chance to be the song leader. I will be given the chance to be selfish ambition, I will be given the chance to be selfish ambition. I will be given the chance to be selfish ambition, I will be given the chance to be selfish ambition, I will be given the chance to be selfish ambition, I will be given the chance to be selfish ambition. I will be given the chance to be selfish ambition, I will be given the chance to be selfish ambition and finally division. How do we unite? The answer is humility. Humility doesn't mean thinking your worth less. Humility doesn't mean devaluing yourself. Humility doesn't mean thinking yourself worthless. Humility doesn't mean what I can value in day. Are you ready for this? Philippians 2, 3. Rather, nothing conceit, no selfish ambition, here comes Paul saying, rather, say, "In humility, value others above yourselves." Wow! What have you done? Rather, in humility, value others above yourselves, the Greek word humility is tapay, no prosune, that's the Greek. It carries the idea of lowliness or humility in mind. 'Yumilati' is not just a behavior, 'Yumilati' is connected to the moon. 'Tapay no prosunay, ay na 'yunay, na 'yunay, okay? So humility is connected to the mind. So yung biblikal community, indiyesi na sabi, indiwala na manakong cuenta, that is false humility. Hindi ako magalang, that is false humility. Lachila better sa akin, that is false humility. Humility is not denying your value. Humility means you know your gift, but you know that your gift can only be effective if you continue to work with Christ. Humility is refusing to make yourself at the center of the church, because there are people now at this hasty potential to be the peon in the church, to be the object of worship inside the church. Nakakita na ako nung, because they want that all the ministry and all the duties and all the activities in the church rebold around her or him or them. In the first place you are not the savior of the world. And if you want to be the savior of the world, why not try to die tomorrow and try to resurrect and to be resurrected on that third day, then we will worship you next Sunday in this church. Aya baka yo? So humility is not false humility. So Jesus knew exactly who he was, yet he served. That's why confidence and humility can coexist. Confidence, humility, God gifted me with this supernatural gift, but I don't get the credit. I don't know who he is, but I don't know who he is. You can easily say, I am also one of the leaders of the church, but I am also one of the servants. Yes, I have the authority, but I can serve with humility. Meaning humility isn't thinking less of your value. It's refusing to make everything about your value. If you are not satisfied with your value, you will be satisfied with your value. You will be satisfied with your value. So you know, because you are the church and the other church, because you are not the one who is satisfied with your value. If you are satisfied with your value, you will be satisfied with your value. Prideful people doesn't know how to humble themselves before men and before God. Aya baka yo? What is again our question? How can we build unity in the church or family in a way that excels Jesus in the community? Five. Unity asks, how can I serve? This is the unifier of the church. When everyone thinks of how he can render service to others. Amen, Puba. Amen. We are all servants. Philippians 2.4. "Shabani Pablo, not looking to your own interests, but each of you to the interests of others." Okay, not this Paul doesn't say. "Nyesina, being have no interests of your own." He says, "Abani aganon, don't look only to your own interests, but to the interests of others." And for me, that is maturity. When you think more of others, an immature person enters the room asking, "What can I get?" Do you want my opinion? "Yena magasila sa abilila." But a mature believer of Christ, who is a unifier of the church, always asks, "What can I share? What can I give? How do we solve this problem? What can I give him testimony of solving this problem?" Imagine if every leader entered ministry with the attitude, "Who will recognize me?" "Why do I have so many people?" "Why?" "Why can't I give an opportunity? But who can I help succeed? Why do I have so many people?" "Why can't I serve? Why do I have so many people?" Do you understand? A person who is so egocentric always asks this question, "What about me? How can I, with little means, serve?" People who are unifier of the church always think about how he or she will unify the church through his marvelous service. Because they are service-oriented. They never think about themselves. They always think that they are blessing to many who need it the most. Again, the question, "How can we build unity in the church or family in a way that exhaust Jesus in our community?" Number six, Jesus is the model of unity. In your relationship with one another, do you have the same mindset as of Christ, Jesus? What was the mindset of the Lord Jesus Christ? Because if you will continue reading 6, 7, 8, and explain which I will not do. The Bible says that Jesus had the highest position, before his position, yet he humbled himself. "Incarnation itself is already an act of humility." When he incarnated, and he took the body of a king, he took the body of a ambassador, and he took the body of a tycoon, or a billionaire, when he was incarnated, he took the body of a servant. And when he died, he died, a horrifying death. It is so easy to die. Cross the road, without looking, immediately you will see God. But Christ chose to die a horrifying death that no one can bear. That is humility. Amen, Puba. Niba, having a highest position, yet he humbled himself, he had that full authority, yet he served. He deserved the glory, he had the glory of the Father, with the Father. And yet, as I was saying, he embraced obedience to the fullest. When there was a time that he can demand for his right, he can easily send all the mirroreds of angels in heaven to protect him against the past. And yet the Bible says that he gave himself a freely. And ultimately, Sabine and Bible, he humbled himself being becoming obedient to death. And that's Sabine even dead on across that is humility, that is humility. And that's the mindset of Paul saying, they were, that we should go burn our relationship with what, with humility. The man opposite the cross is God's ultimate picture of the self, giving love in the humility of a sweet savior who chooses to die, a horrifying death just to share and to tell us of how humble he was when he came on this planet Earth. So once more, what kind of a man I have in my church, you cannot serve the Lord effectively with that kind of thought and with that kind of thinking, because service and humility means it is a displacement of self, displacement of self from the throne and the entronement of Christ in your life. So if you keep on looking, you cannot serve Christ and His kingdom effectively. The Lebanon is the Lebanon of humility. How can we build unity in the church or family in a way that excels Jesus in our community seven? The lower Jesus went, the higher the father lifted Him up. This is not the culmination and the summary of the Philippians 2. God will pull you down, Jesus says, humble yourself, our culture says, make sure people not issue. Jesus says, sir even when nobody wants to praise you, I'll quote you says, I fight for your platform. I owe nothing, and even after my death, this church will continue, because I am not the Santonini of the church, learn to humble yourself. So the culture says, fight for your platform, seek for more views. Divah, pursue more followers, but the kingdom of God says, be faithful with the towel, be faithful with the tissue, because the service begins when you get some pieces of tissue and give it to others who needed it the most. This is greater than platform, service is greater than likes, let God humble you and let that God promote you. Remember that promotion and real promotion comes from God. And unto the own promotion, God links us just, demotion and demonio comes from men. Promotion comes from God, demotion comes from men. Christ chose to humble himself, the Lord Jesus went, the higher the father lifted him up. So it's unity possible, yes, with the humility, not of your humility, but of the humility of the Lord Jesus Christ. When you start fighting to be sin, you're free to start seeing the people God called you to serve, when you start looking unto yourselves and you start looking to others, you will find the people whom God wants to you to serve. Amen. Let me close this, can we have the points, number one unity starts with what we have in common. Number two unity doesn't mean that we think exactly the same, number three pricers ministry into competition, no to pride. Number four unity doesn't mean thinking you're worthless, because humility is not humility. Number five unity asks, how can I serve? No unity asks, how can I serve? Number six Jesus is the model of unity, and last the Lord Jesus went to the higher, the father lifted him up. Let me close, but there's a sister, are you okay? You know, this week, don't wait for someone, or someone else to become humble. You do it first, you take the first step, this week initiate reconciliation with others. On or someone who is different from you, choose encouragement instead of criticism, stop criticism. It is a heavy spirit that will pull you down, serve without recognition. Because unity doesn't begin when everyone agrees, agree, no unity begins when someone chooses to think like Jesus. Let's begin to think like Jesus. Stop doing politics, it will never create you good, it will harm you, your family, and even your church. Can I imagine what would happen if the entire life-giver church will follow Philippians too? Different generations, different personalities, different gifts, different opinions, but we have one mind. Same mind, like of the Lord Jesus Christ, same mind, same love, same Christ. I honor you with your different view. People in our community wouldn't just admire our church, because when they see us doing unity together, they will encounter Christ in a very different way. Besides happening on Jan 13, 35, by this everyone will know that you are my disciples if you love one another. Let's leave this place with the same mind, the same love, the same mindset of Christ as Christ, so that in our homes, workplaces, life groups, community, Jesus alone will be exalted. You will have a different life. You will have a different view, you will have a different view, you will have a different view, you will have a different view, you will have a different view. Ha nga na na na lan, judge, at tuluya na nilang mga mahalin a'king pag-iging. John 13.35 sa'yap nampangan on, malalama na mga tao na disipuluhu kayo, kapakayo ay nag-bama hala na at takaka isa! Judge, paglabas natin sa lugar na ito, dalin natin, same mind, same love, para yung isip para yung pag-igig, dalme para hota yung Cristo, para yung biyaya at meron tayong isang panginod. Dalin sa tahanan, dalin sa workplaces, dalin sa live group, dalin sa ministry, dalin sa community, at kapak, at kapak mi-fakakata o ipaglaba ng saril natin preference, na piliin natin ipaglaba ng unity. There will be no jealousy inside our hearts that we will begin to appreciate each other as co-workers, colleagues in the Kingdom of God. And I pray as you continue to bless us with great and marvelous things. We will continue to bring ourselves into the Kingdom of God that you will bring ourselves into the Church and never separate our life ourselves Lord God from the Church, from the Kingdom, that we will be the greatest asset, a servant of the Living God because we are waiting for your second coming.
